Terminix came out to spray for mosquitoes and the guy was very efficient. I had him to come out before then. I had a problem with mice and that seemed to be completely gone. He's very patient and polite. He’s outstanding and he deserves a raise. Also, the people who moved next door to me were very nasty, so I had to have the special service that had them clog up the holes. They did an excellent job. I’ve had Terminix for 20 years and their service has been beautiful

Henry, the technician, is the only one who has been coming here for a bunch of years. I would have canceled Terminix’s service because I don’t have any problems, but the reason that I keep going is that Henry gives us really good advice. I live on a pretty big piece of land, and things come up that I’m not really sure what the best thing is. He’s always willing to share his knowledge and experience, which to me is invaluable.
The price is expensive for my needs because I don’t really have any pest problems. But I’m going to pay for it because of the information that the technician provides. There are certain things we check for, since years ago we had problems, but it’s mostly preventive, that’s why I kept Terminix.

I love Terminix and I have an automatic service with Urban all set up. Last week, they came out, sprayed and did the rats. They always give me a call or sends me an email that the tech is coming. We have been friends for years and in fact, I got on my contract with Terminix that only Urban can come out. When you find somebody that does a thorough job and very personable and professional, you wanna stick with them.

Terminix sold me the best service they had said they would get rid of everything. They have been coming here for about six months. I started seeing fleas recently. I contacted them, they said they would send someone out but it would be a little over two weeks before they could get here. They showed up today completely unprepared for a flea treatment and said it could not be done today. I should have never seen a flea in the first place since I paid for their top of the line kill everything and let God sort them out plan. I called in to cancel my service and they told me they were going to cancel me but I still had to pay the rest of the contract, over $800. I obviously told them good luck collecting. They are one of the worst companies I have done business with in a very long time.

I’m on a plan with Terminix where they come out every two weeks. Now, they come out once a month and it’s been ongoing. They spray for spiders and make sure the rat and rodent traps are not sprung, and they replace the ones that need to be.
The quality of service is fine. They’re always on time when they said they’re going to be. I’ve never had any problems with them. They’re always hoping to do whatever we need to do to get to our goals. The pest situation has gotten much better.
We discussed the areas that we’ve seen rat droppings, and we put out a plan to put traps all the way around the house so we don’t get any further issues. Also, they spray the perimeter of the house for spiders. I live in an area where there’s lot of trees, and it’s been considerably better. Terminix is a good company.

There was some old termite damage in the garage. They cut the Sheetrock out and put new Sheetrock in, mudded it, sanded it, and painted it. It's been great. No issues.

Terminix does a good job. I've been with Terminix for 40 years. They're very nice and professional. They reach out to me for my quarterly service. Their tech sprays something for the ants and spiders.

I’ve been with Terminix for 7 years. They typically come quarterly for general service, spraying around the house. The technician is phenomenal. Occasionally, we might have bees or a raccoon under the deck, but they handle everything 100%. I’d say the service is worth the money.

Terminix did a good job, like everybody else. I’ve been doing this for 30 years. I was actually dealing with a local company first, and then Terminix either bought them, or they merged with Terminix. And now, I have two services with them. I have pest control, and then I have termite also. And I’d like for it to be cheaper, but everything costs money today.
So, they just came and did their periodic service. And when it's time, they send me a text message saying that it’s time. And they propose a time, and then I either tell them it’s a good time or a bad time. And even if I’m not available, since they don’t come inside the house, it doesn’t make any difference. They only come inside the house if I have specifically noticed something that needs attention. And I rarely ever see anything. So, I guess that makes me confident that they’re taking care of preventing bugs from coming inside the house.

Everybody else used Terminix and I heard that they're very good, so I chose them. All these years, it's been fine. They do what they have to do in half an hour and then go. They’ve stopped the termites from getting into my home and taken care of the pests. They do the job and they do it well.

We have had no bugs since being a Terminix customer. There’s been several men that came out and each one has done a remarkable job. My wife and I feel good about their service and I always fill out the rating of each service to help them out. Their price has gone up sizably though.

At this point, I am disappointed with the service provided by Terminix. The service representative sprayed my home for insects, but they seem to have gotten worse. The representative was supposed to have returned in two weeks after his initial visit to my home, but I did not hear from him about the time he planned to visit. Finally, after not hearing from him, I texted him and asked what time he planned to visit. He said something had come up, so he could not make it that day. We scheduled another time for the next week. If I had not texted him, I do not know if he would have contacted me to reschedule the service.

Due to the positive reputation, I contracted with Terminix to treat my attic for rodents with new insulation and to lay traps. After the service was performed and the traps laid, the agent informed me that someone would return within 2 weeks to inspect the traps. Eventually, I noticed a smell. After 3 weeks, I called and spoke with a rep named "Leslie" who assured me that an appointment would be made and someone would show up to my place. I heard nothing. I called again and spoke with "Kevin" who said he was in Dallas, Tx. He apologized, checked his records, stating I was not scheduled for anything. He assured me someone would contact me to coordinate an appointment time to inspect and remove the traps.
Days later: NOTHING. Called again, spoke with "Esther". Told me that there was NO APPOINTMENT made, but she stated the same assurances that the previous 2 phone reps made. Am currently waiting. I understand that there may be employee shortages or issues, but if so, TELL YOUR CUSTOMER and don't leave them hanging. I'm now regretting my choice to go with Terminix.

I have my normal quarterly treatment with Terminix, and tech sends me a message a couple of days before telling me about the schedule. If I’m not available, I send him a message and he reschedules it to accommodate me. He is a nice man and does a good job, and he has been coming here for years and years. The work he does is excellent, and I haven’t had to call them back in between other than a couple of times. I pay by the year and I get the service every three months. Overall, I’m very satisfied.

The Terminix tech recently came out and sprayed for mosquitoes. He was good and he did his job. Originally, we had earwigs in the house, and they sprayed some chemical around and that seemed to have stopped the bugs. Overall, they work well, and it is working.

Since having Terminix, we’ve had very little to none of the pests that we were dealing with and we’re extremely happy about that. It’s giving us peace of mind. They’ve been very responsive. The service has been timely, the techs friendly, willing to answer questions when it comes to the services they provide, especially when we need extra things to help either to eliminate or just control any pests. Cost is a big thing on everybody's minds, and the price is reasonable.

I've been using Terminix for about nine years. They usually come out and check the bait traps and for any obvious problems. We're very satisfied with them. They're polite and they seem to know what they're doing.

Terminix comes four times a year. I’m on a March, June, September, December schedule. Todd does a good job, and I’ve asked for him specifically. I have known him for years and we chat about what is going on in our lives, and he told me a great chipmunk story. With this company, I don’t have multi-legged bugs called silverfish, and that is all that counts. They were in my bathroom, and it grossed me out. That was why I called in the first place, and as long as they do their job, I don’t have these bugs. Still, Terminix’s price could always be cheaper.

Ther young lady from Terminix came here as she does every few months and did just as good a job this time as she did the last time. Terminix comes quarterly, but they have it set up and they let us know when they're coming. We get the text or the email, and they say they're coming at a certain time.
Terminix does a good job, and it's affordable for us. I think it's a good company and we've always had good experience. I’m very happy with them.

I had a friend tell me about Terminix, so I decided to give them a try. My experience has been up and down, it wasn't always positive. There were just too many things I had to follow up with them on, and then I found that things weren't always correct as far as what they were supposed to be doing.
As for the scheduling, that's already established for when they're supposed to come do the service. Most of the time, the work is done outside. Once they actually came out and I showed them what was necessary, the issue was taken care of.

Terminix is a well-known company and the person who came to look at the job was professional and we felt comfortable with him. Mark was here for the second time, and he was polite and answered all my questions. Our problem has been a persistent one, so they're gonna come back a third time. We were hoping that it would only be two, but it makes sense to do a third if that's gonna take care of it. There seemed to be some lack of communication because he wasn’t scheduled to come out today, and that was a little disconcerting. I would expect a text or call a couple of days ahead of time that they will be coming out. But it turned out okay.

My most recent experience with Terminix was perfect. The scheduling was very good, linear, no mix-ups, and everything was according to schedule. The technicians were excellent, top-notch, and very professional. They were sent out because I had little bit of termite rash. Even as long as three weeks after the treatment, I was still seeing it and I was worried it wasn't working. But I was assured by Terminix and, two and a half months later, it's still working and it looks good.

Terminix was quick to take care of our ant problem. I've had them for six years and it's always been the same representative that has come out. He always texts the day before to let us know about what time he's going to be there and he always rings the doorbell to let us know that he's there. Once he finished, if he sees any problems, he'll come back to the door to let me know. This last time that he came, he didn't come back to the door, but he did leave me an email saying that he did the service and everything looked good. I highly recommend Terminix to anyone. I recommended it for my parents and they also got Terminix.

Terminix is a reputable name, which is why I chose them over any other companies. Scott, the technician, has been here quite a few times. He is excellent, very informative, and always keeps me up to date with what’s going on. He gets the work done and always leaves with a smile. Terminix has been doing a good job. There was one time three years ago when I complained because they only stayed for five minutes. I thought it was strange. But they’re doing a lot better job now. The techs are friendly. They come to the door and knock. They’ll come in the house if I want them to. I trust them but there was one time I went around the house with them.

I've been a long-standing customer of Terminix. They do quality work and hire excellent people, so there's no reason to change, other than price. The technicians are excellent, professional, friendly, and wonderful. I've had three or four over the years.
Many years ago, in between treatments, there would sometimes be occasional pest activity. I had to call someone back for free treatment once or twice. But it's been pretty steady for a long time where the treatment is working very well.

I’ve had Terminix for many years, and I’m satisfied not only this time, but I have been satisfied for those years that I have had Terminix as my pest control. And I only have one technician. His name is Chris. He was a nice and personable guy. And over the years, he and I have been friends, not personal friends, but we know one another very well. He knows my expectations, and he does a good job. He comes here, and he gets to work. We chat for a few seconds, and he gets out.
And I’ve never really had pest issues over the years, and I attribute it to the fact that I use Terminix. They keep me pest-free.

We’ve had Terminix for over two years and it’s been very pleasant dealing with them. We’ve been having a problem with drain flies, and he put something in the drain last time, it’s been a week, and they’re still coming out, so we need to call them back out. They probably need to treat it back-to-back, constant, ‘cause those things are hard to get rid of.

I had a Terminix guy that comes out and inspects and he was just the nicest thing. He’s from the Grenada office. I did not enjoy my experience from the Oxford office because it's hard to get in touch with them. They would call me a day before and tell me they were coming. I work and you need a little bit more time than that to make an appointment. I would try to call them back and no one would answer.
The other thing that bothers me is that I don't get a receipt to show that they came and inspected. Because I've had my contract for over 20 years and I like to have a receipt that someone came and inspected because I know that's part of the contract, that someone has to come each year. And I like to have that as a backup in case anything should ever occur that I needed to say that they did not come to check the termites.
I didn't schedule the recent visit. They called me. They do that and it's odd, but it's okay. The technician who came was great and polite.
I would not recommend it. I've called other places around because I had decided that it was too expensive. Because by now, I could have paid for treatment. Just like insurance, you only need it when you need it. It’s hard to get in touch with them but when I do, they’re polite.
Each year, their price goes up by $2. You don't think that's a lot but then by the time you've been paying for over 20 years, it is a lot. I have had this problem with Terminix for years. Usually, I have good experiences, but Terminix just doesn't do it for me. But I keep on because I've been paying that price and I've been paying for that contract all these years. I don't wanna let it go.

It's been a good experience with Terminix. I have a great guy. Usually, the same guy comes. Their prices are too high, though.
I've had termites and I had to get the bait for the outside ones. Since they’ve been doing the service, the pest activity has not been too bad. But when it's termite-swarming season, I have an issue with termites. I find wings in my bathroom and a couple of other places, so I have to call Terminix out.

I always had good service with Terminix and never had any problems. The guy who regularly comes out does a good job. I never had to call him back. He lets me know ahead of time, and I try to be prepared for him. He’s so good that he doesn’t need me there. I trust him and enjoy talking to him. If I have family or friends who need some good people to work with, I would recommend Terminix to them 100%.

Terminix works. The technician who comes out for my regular bug service is very thorough, and whatever he’s doing is working. He’s friendly, professional, and thorough.
We also have termite traps. I’ve called a couple of times about those because a technician was supposed to come out. He left a message but never showed up and never called back. Terminix told me it had been rescheduled for the following Friday. But again, no one came and no one called.
The person who does the termite inspections came out like usual, and that wasn’t a problem. But someone else was supposed to service the termite traps, and that still hasn’t been done. I haven’t called back again because I assume they’re serviced once a year, but so far, no one has come out to do it.

Terminix is an honorable company. They do what they say they're gonna do and they take care of any problem that you have. They let you know up front what the problem is, and if there's going to be an additional cost, they’re gonna let you know about that too.
As a matter of fact, a technician just left about two days ago. They come around very regularly and check all our traps. They have even done inside inspections, which was not part of my package.
And it’s not so much a pest problem inside, but more of an insulation problem in the attic area. There were a couple of places where bugs or animals could start coming in that I didn’t know about, and they pointed those out to me.
I was glad they did that. To me, they’re going a little above what they’re actually supposed to do. I’m really happy to have them here.

We've had Terminix for a long time and they do a good job. Scheduling is convenient. I don't even have to be there. They come once a quarter. The technicians are always friendly and do a good job. I stopped them once and then I started getting bugs back, so I called them back and they gave me a better deal. No more bugs.

We use Terminix and we recommend them. We have not had any type of termite infestation since the house came under our control about six years ago. The technician we have in this area is a good guy. He’s pretty decent and he tries the best work he can. My only problem with them is that the price is a little high, but it goes with the territory when you have all that advertisement and you’re trying to pay for it.

After signing the contract for over $2500, they only came out once and did not complete the promised work stating that they had to come back when the snow melted. Have called weekly, no response and they just say they will contact me within 24/48. This has been going on since Jan and it is now the end of March.

We have been going back and forth with them for a month and a half now. SEVERAL times we have had to call because they rescheduled without our knowledge or didn't come when they were supposed to. We are only available on Thursdays and they were very aware. This last time we even spoke to the manager who made sure to schedule us for today March 20. They even put on our account that Terminix cannot cancel or reschedule this appointment because they have down it to us so many times already. Today, keep in mind I'm pregnant, I packed my house up because I was scheduled between 3-5 for them to come to my home. I didn't get a confirmation text so I texted the person who usually comes out to see what was up if they were still coming. I got ignored. So I had to call the call center.
She even confirmed nobody was supposed to change our appointment but that it was rescheduled for TUESDAY the 25th when they knew very well we cannot have them come out that day. They did not tell us. Didn't call or text or email and didn't ask if that was okay even though we already stated only Thursdays. This business is absolute TRASH. This all happened because (and I know this is the reason) their technician misquoted us. So they basically were gonna keep screwing us over until we eventually dropped them.
Don't waste your time and hard money you work for, for a TRASH BUSINESS. They clearly are rude and disrespectful and disgusting. This is how you treat your customers? God sees everything and I promise your karma may not come into your job but you will get your karma in your personal life I promise. I'm also calling tomorrow and I WILL be raising hell ab this to the manager who made it clear they would be for sure coming today. Y'all disgust me.

My experience with Terminix couldn't have been worse. I had pest control service for a year. The roach situation in my three-family building actually worsened. Regarding rodents, the technician seemed helpless and incompetent. When it was discovered during the annual inspection that the termite station hadn't been installed, and I therefore had no service, they simply said they in general don’t refund. Furthermore, they've been extremely unfriendly and uncooperative ever since, so I now have to take legal action. Warning for this company.

Beware when they do attic inspection, they fraudulently make up stuff like rat infestation, to upsell you their attic restoration and exclusion services. They quoted me $18,000, and created a sense of urgency. When I hired a second opinion pest service they said I had no issues in my attic other than normal standard activity with mice. And now when I cancelled their services after 25 years of being a customer they are not even willing to prorate my quarterly payment that was made early this month.

I am dissatisfied with the recent service from Terminix's Granada Hills office. Twice, technicians failed to show up as scheduled, only for me to learn later they were on vacation—most recently receiving a casual call from Cancun after waiting hours. My requests for resolution from corporate have been ignored. Management at this location is unprofessional and needs immediate review. Unless improvements are made, I will be forced to cancel our service, impacting Terminix's income.

I've only been with Terminix for less than a month and I haven't had any issues. The last time they were at my home, they were going through an inspection to see if everything they did previously was still okay and everything turned out fine. They were very nice and on time. It was a little expensive, but they were good and efficient.

Once we got started with Terminix, our termite problem went away. The only pests we have now are spiders in the late fall, going into winter, and they take care of that, so we're good. The technicians usually just say, “Hi. How are you?” and then go around and do their thing.

Terminix is a reliable company. I've been with them for 20 years and cost-wise, it’s been comparable to most pest control services. A service tech came out a couple of weeks ago for our quarterly spraying and he did a good job. He was from another city, and he just happened to be coming to the area, but we usually get guys locally and we know who they are. I've had some minor issues with communication, but I’m happy with the service.

The technician from Terminix did an excellent job during my most recent service. I contacted their customer service and they sent the technician out. We told him we needed the inside treatment and he came inside and did it. He's a very good technician. The price though is a little more than what I expected. Before, it was $80. Now, it is more than $100.

Terminix has always been sufficient in taking care of everything that I've needed. If I needed something special, they would check that out and they always call when they're on their way. The technicians are very kind and thorough and I haven't had any problems with the pests in my home after they do their work. Terminix has taken care of everything.

Terminix came and inspected for termites and sprayed the home. They had two different guys there, and I’m very satisfied. This time, the guy actually did something.
They do that three or four times a year. It should be more than that. It's every other month, I think, so six times. We’ve had Terminix for six months. We had some ants inside the home. The first technician wasn't very good. He's no longer with the company, I was told.
I've told other people in our resort to go with Terminix, and they’ve got five other customers now that are with Terminix due to my recommendation.

We have regular Terminix services for pest control like bugs and other stuff. They come quarterly, and it’s usually the same guy. When he came out the week prior, I told him we were having problems with mice, and he arranged for the exclusion guy to come out to us.
The exclusion guy called before he came to let me know he was coming. When he got here, I explained that we had noticed a mouse problem. I had actually bought a rodent contract a couple of years ago, and we had been fine until last summer or fall. A technician had done a bunch of work to seal up the house before, but over the winter we started seeing more mice again, so I wanted someone to take a look at what was going on.
I showed him around the basement where we were having issues. He removed a couple of mice that had been caught, laid more traps, and then spent a lot of time going around the outside of the house. When he was done, he showed me pictures of places where he found potential openings into the house. He used mostly steel wool to fill the openings since mice don’t like going through it.
We agreed that he would come back to check for any more activity. Since his visit, I haven’t noticed any mice.
We’ve stayed with Terminix since moving to Pennsylvania a few years ago because the technicians are knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and they listen to our issues. They treat places we think needed to be treated, even if it’s beyond what was originally expected on the service trip.
On the payment side, it’s on autopay, so they withdraw the money from my account every month. I’m sort of on an auto schedule, but when I’ve called to have someone come out off-schedule, someone answers the phone and sends someone as needed.

There’s this one super nice guy from Terminix who comes over for the ants. He’s probably come two or three times now and did a great job. The ant problem went away.
It was easy to call them when I had the ants, and they came out within a day or two. Everything was fine.

We were having problems with the provider we had before. They did great with the lawn but not with the insects, so we tried Terminix and really enjoyed the technician we had. We had a good rapport with him and he always did a great job for us over the years..
I didn't see him the last time he was there because I wasn't home, but normally, he rings my doorbell and we chat for a while. But we've had very few, if any, bug problems over the last four or five years as long as he was the one doing the service, so it was good.
A couple of times, we had to have him come out to do an inside service because we did see something inside the house. and he was always there within a day or two.
We recently canceled the service because we had a house fire recently , and we won't be able to move back in for 12 months. Once I'm back in the house, I plan on reinstalling the service.
The rate for Terminix is a little high, and then I got an estimate from another company that was much lower. I called Terminix to tell them if they could do any better, and they matched that price so I was happy with that, because I wanted to stay with the service. They could have said no.

Terminix is a great service provider. My most recent one went as usual. The technician texted when he was on his way, which I really appreciated, knocked on the door, told me what he's gonna do and did the service. When he was done, he knocked on the door again, explained what he did and then left. He did everything well. He's always friendly when he comes and I appreciate that he gets to the point and tells me directly what he does, and he's always pleasant about it, too. A few years ago, another technician came to spray for ladybugs.

I don’t worry about termites with Terminix, but they’re hard to get ahold of.
They recently inspected the baits around the house. The technician’s very nice. I don’t normally schedule because they do it. I asked about my previous services, where they didn’t finish the job, and he said he’s reported back to his boss.
I’d like them to finish that. They didn’t put the screens on top of the roof to cover the vents because it was raining and lightning that day. In the basement, they were trying to fill in all the holes and then put bait traps out for mice, but there was one hole that they didn’t get, and I can tell it’s where air is coming in from the inside.

I've never had a bad experience with Terminix. I don't have to go to the website. They take care of it. They just come, and I don't have to call them or anything. They make regular visits, and the technician is always very courteous and kind. They are very diligent and try to do all that they can to make sure that I don't have any bugs.

I had an amazing experience with Terminix. The technician that I use, Tom, is very informative and very good. Whenever he comes out, the interaction is always positive. However, it seems like the way they schedule is automatic because I’ve told the technician several times that I need to be on Saturdays since we're not home during the week, and I don't want anybody in my house when we're not there. I have to keep saying, “No Saturdays.” I think Terminix needs to sharpen their scheduling a little. For the cost, I think it’s high.

I contracted with Terminix for a six month treatment of bed bugs. Although I thought the price was outrageous, I did sign a contract after inspection of my home and speaking with the sales representative. After the first couple of months the problem began. My home was never treated, inspected or taken care of every two weeks as verbally and written in contact. The manager of that department was rude and stated that I needed to do repairs and or replace a termite damaged wall in order to continue service of my home. He also stated they had reached the limit on service to my home. When I told him that wasn't in my contract, he said there wasn't a need to say anything because it had never happened before! Nowhere in the initial contract was it ever stated or implied I needed to do anything concerning a damaged wall.
I was having to basically beg for service and it was stretching out to 3 weeks to most of the time 4 weeks to get any service from them. In the the meantime he'd say the chemical was still working. But anytime it went over two weeks we'd notice more activity, still they wouldn't treat. Again, my contact stated every two weeks! My last conversation was "we will give you one more service and that's it"! I still had time left on my 6 months and was furious. I worked hard to maintain my credit rating and now am stuck paying for services I didn't receive. I want to add I complained and called not only the local when I could reach them but also the main office and got nowhere not even a call from senior management or the the same representative. I'm seriously considering a lawsuit. Do not go with Terminix! You'll be sorry!

Incomplete service. They didn't do what the inspector committed, and then inspector can not be contacted. I spent $5K for rodent exclusion and attic insulation replacement with full clean, safe and sanitized space. They didn't clean and sanitized, and told that cleaning is a separate charge. They said rodent exclusion isn't included, which I told them that it's written in the contract, but they didn't budge. Also, their annual termite inspection is a joke. They charge $450, show up for 10 minutes, go around the house, look at 2-3 bait stations out of 18 installed, and then write a false report that they inspected everything.

I recently had Terminix visit our home to check the termite traps as part of our annual contract. They did an excellent job and communicated clearly what they found. That's something I really appreciate about Terminix—they're consistently good with communication. Even if we're not home, they text us the details of what they did and what they found outside.
We have a yearly contract for termites and they also visit quarterly for other pest control services. Two years ago, we had a termite issue and they managed it very well. Their excellent services and customer service are why we continue using them.
I would rate my experience with Terminix a 5 out of 5 for both service quality and customer service. As for pricing, you always hope for lower costs. Regarding their website, I'd rate it a 4 for ease of use and navigation, although it's been a while since I visited. Overall, I’m very satisfied with Terminix and would definitely recommend them.

I have been using Terminix for at least 10 years, and overall, I've had a reliable and satisfactory experience with them. Every quarter, they call ahead to schedule a visit to spray for bugs around my house and to remove cobwebs. After each visit, they leave a bill and a summary of what was done in my mailbox.
If a friend or family member asked about my experience with Terminix, I would tell them that the company does a good job. I am satisfied with Terminix and would rate their overall service and customer service a 5 out of 5 stars.

I've been using Terminix for a few years because they are one of the few companies available in rural West Virginia. I appreciate the convenience of being able to call them, especially since there aren't many other options I know of that can serve my area. Terminix handled an encapsulation in the crawl space under my house and also takes care of my pest control. The technicians they send are always pleasant, nice, and respectful.
I've been very satisfied with the services provided by Terminix so far. I even signed up my grandmother because she was having pest problems, which they addressed with no problem. They also manage pest control for my rental properties, and I haven’t encountered any issues with that, either.

We were selling our house, and it required a "Termite Inspection". So Terminix of Franklin, NC sent out an inspector on January 6th, to do an "inspection" only. This tech proceeded to report that there was no termite damage, (which the home inspector had already noted!!), but then proceeded to say that the crawl space was damp, (no report of that by home inspector), and needed 2 dehumidifiers installed and encapsulating the crawl space was also needed, to the tune of $13,500. So the buyers wanted all this done. This almost cost us the sale of our home, because we were NOT going to do any of this, as it was NOT necessary!!!! We ended up having to give the $2500 more at closing. This tech needs to be FIRED!!!! Don't try to sell people services they DON'T need!!!!

My experience with Terminix has been a rollercoaster of emotions. On the one hand, the technicians who visit my home are exceptional. They're kind, diligent, and effective at managing the bait traps, which is crucial in dealing with my rodent problem. I must give these workers a well-deserved 5-star rating for their dedication and professionalism.
However, the customer service from the company itself leaves much to be desired. Scheduling services through their toll-free number is frustrating, to say the least. Despite numerous calls, promises from representatives to return my inquiries are never fulfilled. Not once in a year has anyone followed up with me about my concerns. This lack of communication is highly aggravating and gives the impression that customer service is not a priority for them. For this, I would rate the corporate customer service a mere 1-star.
My initial reason for choosing Terminix was to address a skunk infestation. Unfortunately, the information provided by their representatives was misleading, as they later informed me that they do not handle skunk issues in my region. While I appreciate the reach and range of services that Terminix offers compared to smaller local exterminators, these benefits are overshadowed by the poor service and communication from their customer service department.
In terms of pricing, although they are comparable to local competitors, I expected more value for the cost, especially given the service issues I have encountered. Hence, I would rate their pricing a 4-star only because there are fewer options available to choose from.
Overall, while the individuals who perform the service at my home are extraordinary, the overarching company's lack of communication and misleading information about service capabilities significantly detracts from their appeal. I would suggest that potential customers explore local alternatives if available.

I contacted Terminix for the first time after hearing about their services. Scheduling the service was straightforward and hassle-free. During the pest control service, the technician was extremely professional, answered all my questions, and went above and beyond expectations. Not only did they address the issue I pointed out, but they also sealed every vent hole around the house without me asking, which I greatly appreciated.
Following their visit, I noticed a significant reduction in pest activity—particularly, no more mice upstairs. Initially, I set up traps and only caught two, but since then, there haven't been any issues.
However, the experience wasn't entirely flawless. The salesperson who first pitched the service to me was misleading about the type of insulation used, claiming it would affect both bugs and mice, which wasn't true. It was only after signing the contract that the technician clarified the actual use. It would have been better if the sales information matched the expertise of the technicians.
Overall, I would rate the sales rep a 2, due to the misinformation, but the technician a 10 for their service and professionalism. Despite the sales issue, I would give Terminix 5 stars for their excellent pest control service and effective results.

I recently had an experience with Terminix, and overall, I would say it has been positive, although I did encounter a few minor issues. A couple of weeks ago, a technician visited for the routine service, where they were supposed to spray around the windows and put out granules. However, I noticed they didn't seem to do this around the windows as I was watching, and I also didn't see any activity in my backyard.
I have an automatic service schedule with Terminix, where they come every three months. The technician who usually comes is friendly, though I hadn’t pointed out any specific concerns during the last visit because there were none at the time. Recently, though, I've started seeing ants, which I plan to call them about. In the past, they've been responsive and sent someone out quickly, even between scheduled services.
Getting in contact with a representative is quite easy, which I appreciate. If I were to rate my overall experience with Terminix, I would give them a 5 because I have been using their services for many years and have been generally satisfied. The customer service is also rated a 5, though I would rate the service a 4 this time due to the oversight during the last visit. In terms of pricing, I find it reasonable and would rate it a 5. I haven't used their website, so I can't comment on that.
To a neighbor or family member, I would recommend Terminix as a good service. Most of the time, I don't have any pest problems, thanks to their service. I’ll be reaching out to them soon to address the ant issue, as they are usually reliable in handling such problems.

I have been using Terminix for pest control services for about 15 years, and overall, my experience has been positive. However, I ran into an issue with their website recently when trying to pay my bill. It prompted me to change my password, which I didn't want to do because I'm tired of constantly updating passwords. After this happened a couple of times, I ended up deciding just to let them send me a bill and I'll pay by check.
As for the services, the technician who comes out is great. I've had three different ones over the years, and they've all been reliable and courteous. The technician calls ahead to let me know when he's coming, and although I'm usually home, during the last visit I wasn't there for the first time. They spray around the exterior of my house and address any minor issues like centipedes that come up. I don't have any significant pest problems, and they help keep it that way. I regularly recommend Terminix to my neighbors, encouraging them to use the service since I find it effective.

My experience with Terminix has been consistently positive. They come to my home regularly for preventative treatments, and I've never had any issues with pests since I've been using their service. I unlock the gate for them, they complete their work efficiently, and then leave. The technicians are always courteous and knowledgeable, addressing any questions I have without any problems.
I've been with Terminix for about five years, and while I'm not particularly sure if the same people always come, the technician we've had several times has been great. If someone asked me about my experience, I’d definitely recommend Terminix; I'm really happy with their service.

My recent experience with Terminix involved having them perform an exclusion service to keep pests and rodents out of my property. The technician, Nathan, delivered excellent service, and I'd like to give him recognition for his work. However, despite their efforts to put up screenings and barriers, I can still hear pests attempting to break through the defenses. I've been in contact with my local vendor, SOS, multiple times, and while they have come back once, I'm still waiting for them to return again.
I chose to go with Terminix primarily because of a termite warranty I have with the company, managed by my local vendor. Overall, despite the ongoing pest issues, I've found their customer service to be excellent.

My experience with Terminix has been fairly satisfactory. The most recent service included spraying for bugs, which is typical of what they do during their visits. The interaction with the representative was positive and the scheduling is convenient since they usually call me to arrange the appointments.
The work done by Terminix is good, although I have an ongoing issue with mice which hasn't been fully resolved. I was provided with glue traps, but they haven't been effective. Despite this, I would still rate Terminix as a 4 out of 5 overall, since the rest of their services have been reliable.

I have been a customer with Terminix for over 12 years, and my overall experience has been good. We initially contacted them due to spider issues when we built our house. After the initial treatment, they conducted a termite inspection and now, they perform quarterly treatments for spiders and general pest control. They contact me to schedule these visits, and if there's a need for changes, they are accommodating.
The service representatives have changed over the years, but typically I have the same person for a few years at a time. They've managed to keep pest activity around my home to a minimal level, which I'm satisfied with. I do think the service is priced high, but given the quality of their work, I still rate them 5 stars despite the cost. I'd also rate their customer service as excellent, as they consistently provide great support. Overall, despite the cost, I would recommend Terminix due to their effective service and good customer experience.

I have been using Terminix for over 50 years, and I have no complaints about their service. They usually contact me to schedule service calls, and I appreciate their consistency. Since they've been servicing my home, pest activity has been minimal. I recently canceled a mosquito service because of cost and there was a mix-up with another service, but I plan to reschedule soon. We haven't had any issues with pests. I would recommend Terminix to others as they've done a great job. The technicians are excellent, and I have always been satisfied with their work.

This company is the worst! Terminix did not provide the service they promised and as soon as we mentioned a refund they've been ghosting us for weeks!!! They managed to get our money after initial inspection and the tech did come out 4 times, however he disappeared for the next appointment and was a no show! No call, not responding to text, and the company "didn't have his number but can send him an email." What??? The bugs came back and we found out he didn't actually do the treatment the whole time!!! He was supposed to be here for hours (as per their inspector) doing several types of treatments - instead he was here for 10 minutes! After the second inspection to "fix" their mistake, we never heard from anybody again.
The inspector promised to call us the next business day. She didn't. Nobody called to schedule a tech again (the inspector said they would restart the 6 months). I called to ask for a full refund and didn't want them continuing to charge us for nothing. Promised they'd call in 24-48 hours. They didn't. An Ops manager finally texted me after several calls I made to get someone to talk to us. But he clearly did not know what we were asking for at all. Called and texted him back - NO RESPONSE!! I've called several more times with the promise of them reaching out. NOTHING! They're still ghosting us, AND CHARGING US!!! Unacceptable, and everybody should know it. Why would we pay them for a service they never did in the first place!? Really upset, can't get anyone to respond. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

When I first decided to get service with Terminix in 2024, the inspector came in my house and I was concerned because right up under one of my bedroom windows, I saw bugs that looked like large ants with white wings. I wound up just getting a termite contract with Terminix. I go around my house and spray for whatever those ant things are and that seems to calm them down a little bit.
Jeffrey, the friendly tech from Terminix, came out on Thursday, January 23rd of this year and did a yearly inspection. He came to my house while I was at work and didn’t need to come inside because he was just checking the bait stations outside my house. I got a text or a phone call from someone that I didn't recognize the very next week saying that as part of my contract, they would do an additional free inspection and they asked me when I wanted to set that up. But I didn't set it up so, I don't know if I missed out on that or not. The January 23rd scheduling was the third time it has been scheduled because he called me about three weeks earlier to schedule a time to come out. And the only reason why he did not is because the latches on my fences had rusted and I couldn't even get my fences open. I told him I needed some time to get them fixed so he would be able to go through my backyard. Then, it snowed and there were other things too.
I've never seen termites. But the wonderful advice of my always smart parents was I need to have my house checked for termites every year. My parents recommended Terminix because they have a service with them and from past experiences, every time I don't listen to my parents and I do my own thing, it is a disaster. So, I said I would get Terminix. I haven't seen a change one way or another because I've not seen termites yet but that's one of those things where I want to be proactive.

I have pest control quarterly. The guy that comes out to do that is Joseph and he's really good. He talks to me when he gets here and lets me know what he's gonna do, which I already know. He gets the keys so he can unlock the gate, brings it back, and then starts the job. Then he let me know he is leaving. So I had a real good relationship with him as far as the pest control. I also have termite control. They come once a year. I got a bill and they went up on my pest control. I don't like that. I don't see why they gotta keep coming up because all they doing is going around and sweeping the eves on the house and spraying whatever they gonna spray around the house. It's not worth over $100 a month, so I am thinking about changing pest control.

Terminix had a termite contract that was in place on the home we purchased and we continued that. We didn't want to lose any coverage in that regard. Terminix sends a text message or an email to let us know that they're coming. Sometimes we don't get the message until the day of the event, but nonetheless, they send a message and the techs have been very good. They always check every bait station.
The only thing that we've ever done is when there was new construction next to us, we let them know that some of the stations have been disturbed and they replaced them. They were responsive in regard to that, but we don't give them much info about what they need to do because it's in the ground. It's ready to go and they just come and check if there's been any change. Recently, a young man came out and checked our bait stations in the ground around the house, then he sent pictures to us and let us know what the results were within the hour. It was efficient. Overall, we've had good results with Terminix and I have recommended them to friends.

We have two things we use Terminix for. One is this annual termite inspection where if they find any activity then they're supposed to spot-treat it. That's been going on for 10 years now and they've never had to spot-treat anything. We get the same guy that comes out each year to do that annual inspection. It's nice that you know who they are. He's good at it and he cleans up after himself. He comes inside the house to go up into the attic and checks in there. We also use Terminix for pest control. There are a couple of different guys that come out every quarter and treat around the outside of the house. That keeps the spiders and the ants down. If we have a problem on the inside, they will treat that as well. We had an ant problem one time, and they came out and did a few things on the inside. However, their prices keep going up, seems a lot faster than inflation.

I'm satisfied with Terminix. If I see something, I call them, and if I don't see anything, every so often, they have a regular time period that they come and do their maintenance. They go out to the yard and spray for anything they see, like ants. They also put the spray out even if they don't find anything, because they want to prevent it from happening. The only thing I ever have is some ants, and they sprayed where the ant bed was. However, those are hard to control because they'll be in one place and the techs get them and they'll go to another place, then the techs have to go that place, so they come in the front and in the back. Last month, they came to do their regular checkup and everything went fine.

Terminix does a good job. We've had termites in the past, and they were able to take care of it and fix everything. The technician for the pest control is very personable. He listens to what we need. We've had a little problem with the termite guy the last couple of weeks. They said that they were gonna come out, and the weather was bad. Then they rescheduled it. And then they scheduled it for another guy. He put in a report saying that he checked everything. According to his notes, he was here for one minute. There was no way that he could have checked termite baits in one minute around the house. The original guy came out and checked it on another day. So, it's very frustrating to have to go through that. Also, I'm not happy about the cost. It's gone up tremendously. They gave me a contract for $60 a month. Now, all of a sudden, it's $64.

I've been with Terminix for eight years, and their tech comes once a quarter to do his thing. I've never asked them to do a specialty treatment, but the guy has given me some special products every once in a while, when I ask him about something. I really like the guy that does the work. I pay my bills on the website. So, I'm familiar with it. I hate paying what I pay, but it seems reasonable. Overall, Terminix is doing a good job. We used to have an ant problem, and I haven't seen an ant in ages.

We have been with Terminix for 30 years now. They know and they have on file that the appointment should be on a Tuesday or a Friday when my housekeeper is there, in the morning, between 8:30 and 12:30 or 8:30 and 1:00. But very often, I get a text or an email that says, "Your next appointment is Wednesday at 3 o'clock." It is continual. It has happened for years. They say, "Something changed." And the computer does it. Their system stinks.
When they come and do their service, the people are very nice and respectful. But what we think they are doing is not necessarily what they're doing. Because they set traps, but they don't really check the traps for mice. We finally had a big job done. That job was done by a different group of people and that job was done well.

I was very happy with the service of Terminix. It seemed to accomplish what I set out to do. The thing that ran aground was when they switched the website over, it seemed like a new company purchased them. I was locked out of my account. I couldn't get into the old account. I couldn't get into the new account. I couldn't do anything. At that point, I decided to stop.
Now I'm no longer using them. If I have another problem, I would consider using them again since the employees I dealt with were very good. The service seemed to do what they promised it would do. I was just very disturbed about not being able to make a payment online. I have a credit card that I only put money on when I know there's gonna be something on it and that's the one that they would charge. If I missed one or didn't have enough on there, I would generally go online and pay for it. When I couldn't do that and tried and tried, I decided at that point, that maybe I don't really need this right now.

James ** is one good technician. He doesn't skimp on getting the pest out of your way. He asks where I see them most often, hits those spots plus the normal spots. He is just as concerned as I am and doesn't leave until I am completely satisfied. I appreciate all that he does. He puts my mind at ease knowing he's been here and he tells me when he thinks there's an area the bugs may try to enter my home. Thanks Terminix.

I've been using Terminix for around five years now, and overall, I've had a very good experience with them. They visit quarterly, and I appreciate how they handle things, like removing spider webs around windows and doors. That attention to detail is important to me.
At one point, I had a cricket problem, and they came out to spray again. They handled it pretty well, though I wish they could have also dealt with the neighboring crickets. My experience has even convinced my niece to sign up with Terminix when she saw spiders around her home.
In terms of service, they are personable and responsive. Whenever I had issues like ants, they would come out within a couple of days, sometimes even the next day. While I would rate the overall experience and customer service a solid 5 out of 5, the cost has been a bit of an issue. They've increased their prices twice over the last few years, which is why I'd rate the pricing a 3 out of 5.
Despite the cost, I would still recommend Terminix to others for their effective pest control and customer service.

Multiple no shows, multiple last minute appointment schedule changes, no ability to schedule out more than a few days, the customer service is not efficient and most of the time can’t/won’t answer my questions, the service window of 2 hours is to broad, no way to leave a message with Terminix after hours, services provided at were not clear at purchase time, over promised the results, I have asked multiple times for a phone call from the local office manager and have never received one, I asked for a 2 month refund but got 1/8th of that, the cockroaches are still around, when I originally signed the contract I was led to believe in writing and verbally that it would be a monthly service but after signing is the first I hear that it is a quarterly service and there is probably more… BUT my interactions with the local service providers have been positive, I just think most of the problems stem from the company and their systems.

My experience with Terminix has been generally positive, although I haven't interacted much with the team directly since they just do their regular work unless I called them about something. I've found their service to be reliable. They handle not just termites but also general pest control. I've contact them regarding centipede issues, and whenever I've managed to interact with their technician, he has been very pleasant.
They visit regularly every couple of months. The quality of their pest control work meets my expectations; we've primarily had issues with rats, which my dog tends to handle. Nonetheless, contacting Terminix is straightforward when needed.
I'd recommend Terminix to friends and family. I didn't personally choose them as our pest control provider; my husband likely made the choice. But if asked, I would mention their reliability and the good standard of service they provide.

I have been a Terminix customer for a long time, receiving pest control services four times a year. The service focuses on the outside of my home, which adequately keeps pests away. Although I am unsure about the specific plan I'm on, I've never needed any special visits from them. The technician varies with each visit, but I've consistently been satisfied with the service overall. I would rate my experience with Terminix as 5 stars for customer service and quality, though I rate the price as 4 stars because I would always prefer something cheaper. I've been with Terminix for probably 40 years now. The last time they came out was a few weeks ago. They knocked down spider webs from corners and did some spraying. The technician has been the same person for at least the last 10 years, although it has changed over four decades.
My experience with Terminix has been satisfactory. However, I've noticed that the price of chemicals and services has increased significantly. Still, I'd rate my overall experience a 5 out of 5 because I like their service, the technician does a good job, and I haven't had any issues with bugs in my house. I also have termite service from them.
In terms of customer service and service quality, I'd rate them a 5 as well. Overall, I would recommend them to others despite the price increase.

It's the second month that Terminix comes in and inspects the outside of the house and gets down the spider webs, and I'm very pleased with the young man, Brian, who comes to do that. He's very personable. Sometimes I have a trust issue because each year someone different comes to do the annual inspection of the termite traps that are outside and have to go up in the loft. I have trust issues because I've had so many different people that come each year. I understand that employees change but sometimes, I'm not sure if I believe what they are telling me.
Right now, I don't have any termites. I did have it treated. Ever since I hired Terminix since I've been in this house, every year, there's a $1,200 fee for something that they say they find. I'm just not sure if I really believe what they're saying because I had somebody go behind them at one time, and they told me what they saw was they didn't see what they saw. So what I did was I had the tree cut down because it was cheaper to have it cut down than to, each year, worry about the termites coming from that tree. Other than that, I'm fine with Terminix. I just was debating whether or not it was worth it for me to keep them another year. I would tell others to use Terminix if they are concerned about serious pest control. I haven't had any in-house problems besides a little ant. For normal pest control, I would recommend them.

If I could give a lesser review I would. Twice now I had appointments for their "free" home inspection given to existing customers. Since I paid over $4,500 for termite and rodent exclusion work, I most definitely wanted the free inspection. For both inspections, they no showed me. They then tried to tell me I didn't have an appointment. When I showed them the text confirmation of my appointment they said I didn't confirm it. When I showed them a better picture showing my confirmation they said they called me 15min prior and I didn't answer. While nobody told me I was supposed to pick up the phone from an unrecognized #, I went ahead and checked my call log. No call from them. They are dishonest and unreliable. I will never use them again.

Updated on 01/22/2025: Jan 21, 2025. "Hello Chris, we sincerely apologize for your experience with your service! We appreciate your feedback and would like to make things right. Someone from our local office will be contacting you to help assist with your resolution." Jan 22, 2025. The problem is with the local office. Instead saying we and a mistake let us take care of it for you they tell me they are violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) by misrepresenting themself. I assume a nation wide company does not have its lawyers telling employees to text client as a 3rd party debt collector that does not exists. More likely this is a 3rd party company parent sister or affiliate contacting me because they got my information for your company. Considering it is do to an internal error and no contact from was ever made with me about it, that violates the Consumer Protection Act.
All that on top of being charge December after I was sent to collections is a deceptive practice. I canceled face to face with my service rep Doug on the 8th and still got charged on the 19 and still had an active account. Upon calling I was placed on hold for an hour. I had time to call back speak to another rep and merge the calls together. After speaking with Chad on Tuesday I canceled my account and still when I talked to Natalie later that day my accounts still not closed. She said she could cancel the account but I believe it is still active as I am still getting collection text from you or the other company or you posing as the other company whichever it is. So I have no confidence in their abilities to handle this situation. I want someone who has the ability to cancel my account finally to contact me please.
Original review: These people are scammers. I set up service in July 24. They charge monthly until October when they send me to collections. In December they start charging my bank account again. I told my service rep they are charging me send my info to a collection company and in no uncertain terms I'm no longer a customer cancel my account. I want nothing to do with his company. I was then charged again in January. Speaking with the rep in the office she lies to me and says it's not in collection. After being on hold for 50 minutes she says it's a collection warning even though they are still charging my bank account. I am led to believe this is not a collection company but part of Terminix. Never again and they still owe me a 200$ refund.

I don't know if I'm real happy with Terminix. When the tech sprays, he's not getting behind the furniture. I make sure I pull everything out and I don't think he's going behind them. I'm not in the house when he's spraying so I don't know. I'm to allowed to be in the house, which doesn't make sense, because if you're able to walk around and spray without a mask, why can't watch what you're spraying? I have cameras outside and when he did the outside, he went through and he got all the things. But I have a pool house in the back and I thought he didn't spray around there.
The service helps and I see a lot of bugs that are dead everywhere but I'm still having bugs everywhere and they've already been out twice. Also, I think that if you're going to spray, spray. But I have to call them out again and have them spray and they don't give me enough of things, like the bait. He left me a bunch of these boards with the white stuff but I don't care for them because I like to have the sticky pads and I've been using sticky pads for a while. I'm sure I'll have them out again soon anyway. I have the plan where I can do it for the whole year and they have to come out if they see anything.
I just started back with Terminix. The last time I used them was years ago and years ago, they were really good. But this time, I'm not seeing him do as thorough of a job as they did the first time I had service with them. Also, when he tells me he's going to be here at a certain window, I would prefer him to be here earlier. The first time they came, he was supposed to be here between 7:00 and 9:00 and he got here right at 9:05. I'm not dissatisfied, though, because they come out and the tech is nice and leaves me the things. Also, their customer service is A-1. They gave me a senior discount so, instead of paying like 56, I'm paying 49.

I hired Terminix to remove a nocturnal animal from my attic. I told them upfront that they could not access the area where the animal was because it was behind a wall in a finished attic space and I was not willing to cut a hole in the wall until we’d tried other methods. They quoted me to install a one-way exit door over the very large exterior roof entry hole, to place a pheromone ball into the opening, to place flashing, to set a trap for 5-8 days, and to repair the hole once the animal was excluded. They completed none of these items. They set a trap for only 2 nights, then never returned. They did not install any of the things they quoted for the roof area, but instead sprayed a can of foam around my doorframe and an exterior water faucet the first day they brought the trap.
These were not entry points for what turned out to be a possum that I had to buy my own trap for at Lowe’s and capture by myself over two weeks later when I couldn’t get Terminix to fulfill their obligation. I called multiple times and was told there were no appointments available even though I already had 5-8 day service scheduled that they abandoned. I canceled after 2 weeks of nothing because the animal was still waking me up in the middle of the night and further damaging my home. The manager apologized, and promised to refund the entire amount I’d paid. They never did, and when I repeatedly called they’d give me the runaround and say they had no record that I was owed any refund. I had to pay another company to come repair the hole in my roof after I did my own trapping and animal removal. I am currently trying to pursue legal action.

I usually get the same technician. I get a detailed report. I get irritated when Terminix raises their prices but that's just part of it. I usually call and complain about it, and we come in to a halfway point. So, they will negotiate. But it's like any other business. They will raise rates every year.

Terminix has always worked for me. It's a little expensive, but it's worth it. When they come out, they knock on the door. If I'm home, I say hi to them. They spray and change out traps if they need to and knock on the door and say they're leaving. I get an email with the results. It's all straightforward. Once I tore apart a deck that was attached to the house and it had a bunch of bugs in it, so I had a guy come out. It took three tries, but he came out, looked at it and took care of it.

I like Terminix's professionalism. When they give you their promise, they follow through on that. I've never had any problems with them as far as missing their appointment, rescheduling an appointment, or being late. Also, they always answer my questions. I like the way they handle themselves. Our tech is a very well-rounded young man, very enthusiastic about his work, always willing to answer questions, and always gave advice on what needs to be done. He sees the problems, and he will tell me what they are. He gives solutions to them. If he doesn’t know the answer, he's always willing to talk to one of his supervisors or try to find the answers out for us. Goes above and beyond always. I had a couple of problems with seeing a couple of small roaches inside, and I called. It was no problem with asking someone to come out. They were there on time, did their job. Always left me reassured that if I had any more problems, to not hesitate to call.

I have quarterly pest control service with Terminix, and that's with a tech named David. I really like David. He's been our tech for several years now. He always lets me know when he's coming, and if there's anything special I want him to do, he says to let him know. He comes and does general pest control, spiders, and bugs around the house. Now and then, I will tell him we have spiders in the garage. So, he'll say, “Leave the garage up, and I'll spray it.” If there's any evidence of any kind of bugs or roaches getting in the house, I'll let him know and he'll do something. He'll add something to his service to take care of it. That's not every time though. Most of the time, he just comes in and sprays around the perimeters of our house and removes cobwebs from the eaves and anything he can reach. So, he's usually here for about 25 minutes. I'm always satisfied with David.
I still get a few spiders, but we don't have a lot of pests in the house. If it gets really dry out, we may get a roach or two to come in, trying to search for water. That's normal because they can't find water outside during drought conditions. We had that happen this past summer. We went five weeks without rain, and that was very dry but there was just one or two pests. I talked to him about it, and he said that they were coming into the house to look for water. He does actively spray for them.
As far as customer service with Terminix, I never know if I'm going local or national when I call their number. A couple of times, I may have had a little bit of a wait to get somebody on the phone but that's not normal. Most of the time, I can get somebody on the phone and they're very nice. They take care of whatever concerns I have. Mostly, it's billing stuff.
Their price, like everything else, goes up. I guess it's reasonable for what they do. The last time, they finally put in bait stations and gave me a discounted price for doing that and reduced my annual payment. The only thing is my payment is not due until April, but I got a bill and they said to pay immediately. Also, their website can be updated. It’s a mess. A lot of times, I cannot find the reports. They're not posted or I can't even find a bill. So, I usually have to call Terminix because they give you a reduced price if you pay all four pest control services at once. You can never do that online. You cannot find where that reduced price is, and I always have to call them and ask them about it. They need to update their website.
A couple of years ago when we were building an addition to our house, they sent one of their techs out and he claimed that I had black mold and all kinds of other stuff under my crawlspace of the old part of the house. Then he gave me an outrageous quote of about $8,000 to take care of it. So, I called Terminix and they sent somebody else out. They found no evidence of that and said it was one of the cleanest ones they’d seen. I told the tech about it and he said, “Yes. We've had several complaints about that guy. I'm going to report him.” I guess he did because I never saw him again, and I never had another problem with them. I was very irate about that though. I was almost ready to change my service to someone else.

I had my house tented by Terminix and everything went fine. We have a technician who comes out every month and always tells me when he's on his way. So, everything's fine with him. He's very friendly and easy to talk to. Terminix gave us an estimate and they said they would check the house, repair the termite damage, and then inspect the roof. I've had a really hard time. They didn't do any damage during the tenting, but they claimed that there was pre-existing damage on the roof. There were broken tiles and pipes. It's a 40-year-old house, and in the meantime, I've had three estimates from roofers and the problem is that there's no sheathing under the tile. So if there will be heavy rain or anything, it would dig right into the house.
Since Terminix has been out, I've seen one bug. It really killed everything. I've only been with them for about six months. My mother lived in this house for almost 50 years, and we started having actual flying termites in the house that started eating up the floor. She had a hardwood floor. Unfortunately, my mother passed away in August of '24. So I inherited the house, and I continued the Terminix treatment.

I called Terminix because I was dealing with a mice problem, which they effectively solved. They also took care of a termite issue for me. I've been with Terminix for about a year, and I haven't faced any problems since they provided their services. It has generally been the same person coming out for treatments, and I appreciate the consistent service I receive. The reps have been very helpful. On a scale of 1 to 5, I would give them a 5 for their overall service, customer service, and pricing, as it seems reasonable for the quality of service I receive.

I have been a loyal customer of Terminix primarily because of the exceptional service provided by our technician, Casey. It's like having a family member take care of our home. We've had no issues, and if any concerns arise, Casey promptly addresses them. I've been using Terminix for several years now, and I've had a consistently positive experience, particularly with their technician, Oscar. Oscar is wonderful; he always calls ahead to let me know when he's coming. I appreciate his diligence and professionalism. For instance, we had an issue with hornets making a nest in one of our outdoor lights, and Oscar managed to handle it efficiently from about 10 feet away.
I initially chose Terminix because the name was familiar to me, and they came highly recommended by a friend. I live in a wooded area, and having their service gives me peace of mind, especially considering past issues like ant infestations in my barn. I do find their service to be somewhat expensive, and the costs seem to go up, but for the sake of keeping my house and barn safe, I see it as a necessary expense.
If I were to recommend Terminix to a neighbor or family member, I'd focus on the quality of their work, though I'd note the cost. Overall, if not considering the finances, I'd rate them a five for their effectiveness and customer service, though the price would bring it down to a three.

I am very pleased with Terminix and would definitely hire them again. My satisfaction largely depends on the technician, and I'm fortunate to have an excellent one. If you get a good technician, you receive excellent service. My current technician, Henry, is outstanding, and I would rate him a 5. However, previous technicians weren't as great, more like 3s. Overall, I'd say my experience averages to about a 4, but Henry’s work elevates it to a 5.
The service is a bit expensive, but it's worthwhile with a good technician like Henry. You're paying for value, and when the job is done well, it's something I'm willing to pay for. If you're not satisfied, it might be because you need a better technician, as the service quality really hinges on them. Great service means satisfaction, and you don't mind the cost when you receive excellent work.

I have been using Terminix services because when I was spraying for ants myself, it wasn't very effective. With Terminix, having a professional service come in on a monthly basis or as needed has proven to be much better. To schedule a service, I usually call or text the serviceman, Allen, who always tries to fit me into the schedule the following week, which is great.
Allen is fantastic, and overall, I've noticed a definite improvement since using their service. There are moments when activity increases again, but I understand that our serviceman recently had a health issue, so I'm planning to call soon to address this. Despite this minor inconvenience, I would rate Terminix a 4 out of 5.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!! We contracted Terminix to tent our business building for termites, as they had done so back in the 90's. Their rep L. ** was extremely unfriendly, unprofessional & unorganized! Not once, but TWICE we packed everything up & shut our business down for them to come & tent & neither time was it done! Excused the first time, as he was trying to squeeze us in & it was a tentative appointment, but we rescheduled for almost 2 months later. L. ** came out the day before with the bags & to do a walk through.
The following day we closed our business again only to have 3 guys show up (one with NO SHIRT ON (have video)), set our alarms off so the police showed up to ultimately tell us that they aren't doing it because of an attached garage. The garage wasn't added the day before, it has been there for 20+ years. L. ** saw the garage multiple times, just has the other companies did that we got quotes from. L. ** stated that they would try to tent the garage as well (not necessary to have treated, as it is metal) because of its attachment, but if not, they would put a skull & cross bones sticker on to not enter.
Mind you, the other 2 companies we got quotes from were only $140 & $200 cheaper than Terminix & that INCLUDED THE GARAGE! L. ** made sure to tell us more than a half a dozen that he was on vacation...sure seems like L. ** needs to retire after his vacation! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, but Terminix doesn't have to care due to their monopoly in the industry.

My experience with Terminix can be quite a mixed bag. I've had a long history with them, starting with their termite policy back in the early 90s and then adding rodent control about five or six years ago. While the service from personnel like Josh, who handles the rodent issues, has always been exceptional and I really appreciate his professionalism, my issues have been with their corporate financial management.
I've encountered several inconsistencies and disorganization in their accounting office, which led me to cancel my pest control services with them. Despite this, I’ve stayed around for the rodent service primarily because of the outstanding service provided by Josh. I would caution others considering Terminix to be careful. If asked to rate their overall service now, I would say it's right in the middle due to these financial issues. I'd never recommend them because of this. However, if I’m rating the actual service, especially what Josh provides, it’s definitely a top score. In terms of pricing for rodent care, I’d also rate it about average.

We hired Terminix to get rid of a raccoon and to patch roof, take out old installation and replace it with new R49. They did NOT get rid of the raccoon and charge us over $2,000 anyway. Under their contract they were supposed to turn off our heat while spraying the new installation which they didn’t do and everyone in my house got sick. They said a manager would contact me and never received any phone calls. I highly recommend not using Terminix unless you want to get ripped off!

I've been a Terminix customer for many years, especially since they took over my Sears bond about 25 years ago. I have both the pest control and termite services. Most recently, I had a pest control service where they addressed an ant issue I had encountered during siding removal. Previously, I also dealt with a rodent issue in my attic, and they managed to resolve that effectively, allowing me to discontinue the rodent exclusion service while continuing regular pest control.
The scheduling process is quite convenient—I’m on a quarterly rotation, and I receive text notifications from my technician, Caleb, a few days before each visit. He only does exterior treatments, which has been sufficient for my needs. Caleb is very professional and considerate, particularly because he knows I feed a lot of wild birds, so he uses sprays instead of granules to help protect them.
The best activity has been under control, with a bit of a challenge due to weather affecting ant behavior, but that’s beyond Terminix’s control. I'm particularly impressed with their handling of my termite bond, making sure everything is thoroughly inspected. They've even done some pricier protective work around the house, which deferred my renewal payment for some time.
Overall, I've found Terminix to be both professional and responsive to my needs. On occasions where past pest control workers were a bit lacking, my complaints were addressed promptly. My experience has been quite positive, thanks to their attentive service.

I have been using Terminix for several years, and overall, my experience with them has been excellent. One memorable occasion was when I had a problem with bees and wasps. The technician they sent out was very sensitive to my needs and efficiently took care of the issue.
Although I have rated their services a perfect five in terms of customer service and quality, the price is a bit high, making me rate it a two. Nonetheless, I find Terminix to be a reputable company and would speak positively about them if asked by a friend or colleague.

I have used Terminix for my pest control needs, and overall, the experience has been positive. I have a recurring service with them that is scheduled every three months, and it automatically renews. While I'm usually not at home when they arrive, Terminix is diligent in notifying me through emails and text messages.
Whenever I have interacted with their technicians, they have been responsive and helpful, particularly when dealing with pests like ants that can become more problematic in Florida's rainy weather. The treatments seem to be effective, as pest activity in my home is minimal.

I recently had a good experience with Terminix. We have been using their services for a while, and I’m pleased with both the service and the personnel who come to our home. I've been using Terminix for about 3 or 4 years, and they do a good job. They typically schedule the service by calling a few days in advance to confirm a convenient time. They are very prompt, offering a two-hour window for arrival and usually showing up closer to the first hour—unlike some other service providers.
The techs do thorough work. They change the mouse baits, spray, and use a round brush to remove any cobwebs. My interactions with the techs have been positive; I have the tech ring the bell when he gets here and if I don't answer, he starts working. I usually go out and talk to him or catch him when he comes around the other side. I don't walk around the backyard. I'll wait till later if I miss him. Usually, he's walking away, ready to start working by the time I get there. I have a one-level house and it takes more time to get to the door than anybody thinks.
I've found the quality of their work to be exceptional. I'd rate them a solid 4.5 out of 5 and based on my experience, I would recommend them to neighbors, particularly given the nearby dump that tends to attract pests. Their products are safe around wildlife and pets, as they adhere to legal safety limits.

I have been using Terminix for almost two years now and recently had them spray the perimeter of my house. The technician was professional and efficient, completing the job in less than half an hour, and he told me when he was done. I've interacted with this particular technician before, and he was responsive to my concerns, especially since it was raining that day. He assured me that the spray would last, and if not, they would come back for another application.
Overall, I've been satisfied with the service provided by Terminix. They have maintained good communication, answering any questions I have had promptly. I would definitely recommend their service to others. On a scale of 1 to 5 for their service and customer care, I'd give them a 5 because they have consistently met my expectations. As for pricing, I would rate them a 4, since I have had other companies offer lower rates, but the service and reliability of Terminix keep me with them.

He consistently does a super, thorough job, which leaves us very satisfied with the service. We've been with Terminix for about 18 to 20 years now, a testament to our satisfaction. However, it hasn't always been perfect; previous technicians weren't as diligent. But in recent years, I would rate the experience as a 5 due to our current technician's superb service. Despite some ups and downs, my satisfaction with the current service is high. Regarding pricing, it's reasonable, but there's room for improvement.

I've been a customer of Terminix since I bought my home because it had termite issues from the start. I've consistently used their services, so I can't really compare a before and after scenario with pest activity. Each time I notice any signs of pests, I call them, and they promptly take care of it. The technicians are generally polite and considerate, wearing booties to keep the house clean.
There is one concern I've had recently: I receive texts notifying me that a technician is en route to my appointment, but I haven't actually scheduled an appointment. This surprise notification, often occurring just minutes before their arrival, has happened a few times. While it's not a major issue, it's frustrating because it disrupts my plans, especially on weekends when I'm out doing errands.
Overall, I would rate Terminix around four stars out of five. Their service is effective, albeit with some scheduling hiccups. I haven't explored pricing with other companies or utilized any online services from Terminix. For customer service, I would give them about a three, considering the lack of prior notification for visits.

I recently had a fantastic experience with Terminix. My crawl space was a disaster, filled with mold and debris left by animals. I had initially contacted them in August, and within 24 hours of inspection, a team was out to address the issue. The team remarkably cleaned up all the mold, installed a dehumidifier, and even repaired a broken window to prevent future animal intrusion. The before-and-after difference is astonishing — it’s like a new space!
In addition, a few years ago, their technician Carlos identified a severe silverfish infestation in my attic. He showed me the extent of the problem, and they efficiently cleaned it out, installing new foam insulation to replace what the silverfish had damaged. While pricey — I spent about $7,000 for the crawl space and $4,000 for the attic work — the quality of service was well worth it. Their commitment to their responsibility ensures I no longer worry about critters or mold returning.
For the past several years, Terminix has provided me with outstanding service, not only addressing these large issues but also routinely checking for rodent activity in my garage. While the cost is on the higher side, their thorough and professional work has left me highly satisfied.

Terminix inspector came to our house and said we needed rodent abatement. He went in attic and then showed me pictures on his phone of rodent feces and damage to AC ducts done by rodents. He said we needed to have the dormers on our roof sealed because they were an entry point for rodents. We agreed to have the work done because we had had good luck with Terminix's insect control in the past. We then had two other companies check our attic and found no evidence of rodent feces or damage to AC ducts. It became obvious that the Terminix employee had shown us pictures on his phone of somebody else's house in order to secure our business.
The dormers were never sealed. The technician always had an excuse, such as, "I don't have a ladder long enough," or "I'm scared to climb on the roof without someone on the ground steadying the ladder." His final excuse was" Teminix doesn't do that work; I'll have a roofing company call you," which was never done. The only job he did was to put two small metal strips at ground level on our garage to prevent rodent entry. Now they expect us to pay approximately $1500 for the two small strips of metal put on the garage. Showing us the pictures of the feces and AC damage from someone else's house is the equivalent of a doctor showing you someone else's x-ray and saying you have cancer and need surgery. I ask Terminix, would you pay that doctor's bill?

HOA ordered termite inspection at my unit. I took day off and waited from 8:30 to 1:30. No call. No show. I would not recommend this company to anyone. It is very disrespectful to have people wait when you have no intention to show up.

The young man who changed the tiles noticed the wooden floor might have had termites. Terminix came out, checked it and sprayed. We haven't had any problems since then. But because we rent the property out every year, we keep the service. They are always friendly. I have not had the renters say anything about them not being friendly or timely. They usually give you a two-hour window. So, if they're at work, I go. But if they're there, they let Terminix in.
Years ago when they were here at the house, there was a miscommunication about who did the service. Someone else showed up to tell me something else that needed to be done. I just continued the service because I thought someone else would come to do something else here. I should have been told first. The house here is not serviced by the same people that serviced my parents’ home.

We had a pest control treatment through Terminix a week and a half ago. They did the regular quarterly spray. They do the outside. I haven't asked them to do the inside. The inside is good but they say, "If want to, just tell us. We'll spray the inside, too." Occasionally, we'll see some pests. Critters are always getting in, but not to any extreme. Terminix is good on pest control. I enjoy it. They come out. They spray. They tell me where they sprayed and what they did. They always remind me to not let the dogs out for about 30 minutes after they spray. We have a small dog. So, I appreciate that reminder. I've enjoyed their servicing my house. I don't have to buy bug spray and I don't have to do it myself. It's done by somebody who knows what they're doing. I'm happy with them.

Terminix responded to our needs. We have had one fellow since we started and then he left. So, we just had this other fellow once. Overall, the technicians do a good job. It's just sometimes they're a little sparse on communication. They let us know they were here and then the only reason we know they were gone was because their truck was gone. Things have been great since they've been doing the service. There are no ants and funky worms. The real cockroach didn't bother me. I'm happy there are no ants.

The service with Terminix is set up with a quarterly inspection and so far, we’re happy with them. The service is always consistent and the techs are very courteous. They check the exterior of the house, clean up the cobwebs and spray. We've had the same technician for at least 11 years. He’s very thorough and friendly. He will usually call us prior to an inspection and if we’re not at home at that time, he will send me a text message and tell me they’re finished. We don't have mosquito service but he notifies us that they have services available.
We've had Terminix for 11 years here at our current residence and we had them at our other house for another 14 years. We've done some checking around periodically, to see what the prices are and Terminix might be a little higher in some areas but they might be lower in other areas. But I would pay for the service quality versus getting a service that we would be unhappy with.

We recently did pest control with Jonathan. He has been in our house for years and he's awesome. We love him. We tell him where we notice bugs and he pays attention to that. He's very responsive. He's not all about, "I can't do this. I can't do that." It's, "How can I help you?" However, communication with Terminix sometimes is good but sometimes is not. It depends on the day and on the person so I tend to go with the local office. I call them and I'm not supposed to but I do because I can get quicker service and resolution. If I do it the other way, there's time difference and it's not good. Terminix is too big and the call center is outsourced. You don't know who you're getting. It's a 800-number where somebody picks up the call and it could be anybody.
The price has been going up. We pay over 1,000 'cause we have three Terminix services for which we pay separately and we also pay a renewal fee. We pay a lot and it's higher than if I go with a local company. Also, when I go online, it shows two properties but we only have one property. I have to click on each one to see which service is associated with that property. I don't understand why it's not under just one property.
But Terminix makes a huge difference that's why we keep paying to have the service. Where I live has a tropical climate, and we have lots of bugs. With the Terminix service, there's hardly any bugs, centipedes, and roaches that crawl all over the place. It's really helped. I have recommended friends to Terminix, and three people have taken them. Recently, someone called me to try to get me to pre-pay and save tons of money. I mentioned to her that I recommended a friend, and I gave her the name. She said they'd give me a $50 credit but I don't know how I got that credit.

Terminix always gives me good service and pricing. They come four times a year or if I need it more. They don't charge me for it. They're good. The last guy would come to the door, ask me questions, "What do you want done?" We would always tell him what we wanted to have done. He would do a good job of it. I would get a picture of what he did for the house. One time we had ants getting in the house. We called Ken, he came out, put a lot of stuff around the house, and did a good job there. We didn't have any problems with ants after he came out. My only problem is I have to call once a year because the way that my schedule goes is he would come in February to do it, but we get three inches of snow out there. So, it was wasteful. I could call and cancel one appointment a year. That is what I usually do.

Randall came out last week and he was very polite. I usually have a few other people, but Randall always comes most of the time. You can always tell his atmosphere is friendly and positive. He'll make suggestions about things that I should have took. Some of the suggestions he said was, "The weather's changing. You might wanna think about mice traps." I wasn't having any mice last week. But now, all of a sudden, they all flying through the house. So I'm gonna have to learn how to take suggestions from them. They expect you to call a week or so in advance because your environment is having a problem. But otherwise, he was very nice. He'll let me know everything that he's gonna do. I'm still having a bee issue in my front bush and after he came last week, he said, "I'm just gonna drive through. I'm not gonna knock on your door. I'm just gonna check and see what's going on."
The only problem that I have with Terminix is that they still sending the bill in his name. It should be my name because it's my service. My husband and I had separate services at one time. He was doing the outside. I was doing the bees and the other stuff. Even though they didn't change my address yet, I'm still happy with the customer service. I tell people all the time that I like Terminix. The price is good too.

Nightmare. Hired company a year ago and they placed bait stations in ground and rat traps in attic and were Supposed to come check 2 weeks after that. Here I sit on hold with the office almost 2 months later and still no follow up. Ridiculous. Look, I get it, they are salespeople out for a bonus, but this is a big company- keep your word like you kept my Money!

Terminix is very effective. I like the user-friendliness of the website as well. The person who came out was super professional, very polite, effective and did a wonderful job. I was seeing the problem mainly in the kitchen, and as of now, the service seems to be working because I've only seen two roaches after he had fumigated. He also left me with some little sticky thing. He said, "For the next time that I come, I wanna see how many are caught in those sticky things." In that way, he could, more or less, understand if he needs more or less. He told me to call in if I see the roaches starting to come out again. But if I don't see a problem, then we just simply leave it for the quarterly service. He also told me that I could call and block him in for Saturdays.

I heard of Terminix's name a long time ago. They come out and do a routine pest control. One service, they do every three weeks. That mosquito one wasn't effective. I assumed the mosquitoes were at least reduced by it, but it still was bad. We canceled that. Another service, Terminix does every three months. The termite and the general pest seems to be okay. We still have an issue with termites on the property, but we have five acres. So, that's not necessary.

I'm in Florida and there are termites everywhere. Terminix is a big company so I went with them. They gave me a decent deal at the time because I'm money-savvy. But the reps were trying to upgrade me and upsell me to this and that. I asked if I could just renew and once we got that down, it was fine. I renewed my yearly subscription with them and the techs came and said I had no termites. I paid my bill and they left. They are very nice. I call Terminix to schedule for extermination and it’s fairly easy to get in touch with them. The customer service does a good job and does what they say they're gonna do.

We've had Terminix for years and the termite service has been great. The techs are lovely people and everything's great. At one time, we had the regular extermination service, which we canceled because we were unhappy with the service. They were not responsive. We called them for our needs and it took weeks and weeks for them to respond. They don't answer the phones. They were hard to reach and it was hard to communicate.

I liked everything the gentleman told me. He was upfront. I have a much better contract with Terminix than I did with the Orkin who left me high and dry, and cost me $3,600 to repair my front porch from termite and ant activity. The Terminix technicians were upfront and explained everything clearly. I totally understood what they were talking about. I feel much better now, even though after the fact that it cost me all that money. That if I'd have had Terminix, it would have been covered.
I showed Terminix that a third of my front porch, underneath all the wood and joists, were all deteriorated to the point that it was not safe to walk in those areas as the termite and the carpenter ants destroyed that whole area. I'm very satisfied with Terminix. I feel much more confident now, if anything else were to take place in a way of damage to my property, that Terminix would cover it, unlike Orkin.

My Terminix technician is the best because he listens. He would try to upsell. But if I said no, he would not press. He's always on time, polite and respectable. He gives me an update. The techs have a very high turnover. Mine is so far the longest one here. Anytime he treated anything, if that was what they needed to do, that is what they did. He would tell us what was done, what he treated it with, and what he found. He would take pictures of it too. They provide those pictures. The pest activity on the beetle bugs has reduced, but not the fire ants. But they're seasonal. I probably have to get the tech out here for that.

I’ve had a very bad problem with critters in my attic. We have a pretty large home with a very steep roof. I had a food business and there were mice around and different things that I had to control all the time. It was my experience with Terminix prior to 25 years ago. Now, I'm on a regular quarterly. I would forget that it was due. It's nice that they automatically do it. The tech would contact me a couple of days before when she would be here. She would text me that she would arrive at between such a time on the day that she would come. She is a very friendly girl. As soon as she is finished, she would send me what she did and what she saw. If she saw anything else, she would let me know. She kept me well-informed.
Terminix was here last month in October. The girl did a complete spray around my house for spiders and ants. We had a good report from no spiders getting in through my sunroom at my air conditioner. I used to have much trouble with them there. We noticed that their webs are gone and spiders go all around the house. We have some outside floodlights that come on with darkness. That is where the spiders hang. Since the tech has been spraying, that has decreased to nothing. It works. It's worth the money that I have been paying for it. I'm very satisfied.

The Terminix tech who comes has been very good. He did the general spraying of the yard and he took some bees nest down too. He sprayed around the garage. I also asked for a couple of sticky pads to put in the entrance to the garage. He asked if there were any issues and he did a good job. There was also a woman tech who came. Her name was Miranda. She was very good too.

I love Terminix. Terminix coming once a quarter takes care of any issues we may or may not have. If we need Terminix more than every three months, all we have to do is call. They would show up. We've had a bit of a mouse problem. They dealt with that. I told them I didn't have any bugs in the house. I haven't seen bugs in two years since Terminix took over. They swept down my eaves and sprayed the base of my house and around the windows and doors and did a phenomenal job. My concern was all these little ones that were all over the kitchen area. When Terminix came in, they said, "I've got this stuff. I'm gonna put it between the wall in your cabinetry where the backsplash goes," sprayed inside the one cabinet and all around the dishwasher area and under everything, and it took no time for bugs to dissipate and disappear.

My tech is good. I have issues with mice, possibly in the basement and around the house, and carpenter ants. This visit, there wasn't that much because it's cold now where I live. It's dormant, but my tech was very thorough and went through everything. She discussed everything and put the baits out. Overall, Terminix is good. They're on time and the scheduling’s easy. They call or I call them, then they come and do the job. If I'm not satisfied, they come back out. I'm recommending a friend now to them.

We like the quarterly service. We still have rats, but the service definitely helped with the pest activity. They do the rat bait things, and then they spray and sweep for seasonal stuff. They've all been great, and Joel, our regular guy, is awesome. He's easy to schedule with, and he reaches out when it's time for him to come.

Terminix has been very responsive. We could go online or call them. Usually, they would be out within a day or two. They are always here for scheduled service. They're always on time. Recently, we had our whole house done for mice exclusion. That worked out well. The mice found a way in that they didn't plug up. They came out right away and plugged it up. It has been better since. I wish the cost is a bit less. But it's reasonable.

We had different plans at first with the Sentricon system - a baiting and killing system. After a number of years, Terminix no longer used that system, but more of an insurance type system and inspections to see if there was anything. After we were on that plan for half a dozen years to see if there was any activity, and if there was, there would have been treatments, Terminix came out again with a revised baiting program, and we switched over to that again. We've been happy with that. They've been good about, every year, making appointments with us, coming out and checking things, and giving us good feedback on what they found. Almost every technician that we've dealt with has been good. The last one we had was especially good.

Terminix is very well-known and they’ve done a good job of getting rid of my termites. For years, I have not had any. I'm paying way too much. As I understand it, to keep the coverage, in case there is damage, I have to pay every year for them to inspect it. The price is rising every year for the tech to come and look around my walls and tell me I don't have termites. I'm considering dropping it because it's extraordinarily high since I have had no problems in all of these years. I would appreciate some sort of reasonable discount. All they do is come and they do not even notify me. I was in bed one morning and here comes the Terminix guy saying he wanna inspect the interior of the house. He did not call ahead of time and give me any notice, which is not good business and it's quite rude. So, he ended up inspecting just the outside and the garage.
For several years, it was the same tech. But I don't think it's the same guy anymore, 'cause I didn't even see him. My husband talked with him and let him in the garage. But I told him I didn't want the tech to come into the house. I was just getting out of bed. They need to have notice ahead of time. I don't have termites anymore and the Terminix techs thoroughly sealed the house so I don't have mice anymore. So, as far as the efficiency of what they do, that's great. I appreciate it. They accomplished what needed to be accomplished. But I didn't appreciate the current status of the termite service.

I work in customer service so I know it's hard. But this company is the worst I've dealt with. They say they will finish one day then do half the job. Takes days to get it reschedule. They just give you the run around. If you can find another company

Horrible company. I signed up for a monthly treatment plan. The tech came out to the first appointment and brought in 20 to 30 oz can of spray to house. Sprayed basically like 5 minutes at max with this spray can in basement. He came up and spent the next 10 minutes filling out paperwork. No further treatment was performed. He left. I waited for about a week. Still bugs in basement. Requested more service and told management what he did. Set up additional appointment along with specialized Pest and evaluation tech.
I received text Friday before and confirmed appointment. The guy was a no-show no-call. I called the very next day for them to cancel my services and requested my money back for deceptive practices. Been at least 3 weeks. Still no refund. They can take money within a day or 2 but can't refund. I can't recommend Terminix at all. They're a deceptive company. They will take and take and don't honor the contract. BEWARE. BEWARE. SCAMMERS AT BEST.

I have Terminix' termite coverage in my home. I've been using them for over 20 years, and they come once a year. I have two termite plans, the subterranean termites and drywood termites. I haven't had any termite activity. It's just the cost should be lower.

I've been with Terminix for 50 years. When I bought my house, it had the service and I continued it. The techs that come out have been fantastic. They do the job and if I need something, they do it. I've got a really good tech. The ones that do the once-a-year inspections are good as well and I'm pleased with them.

I like that Terminix calls me before they come. They tell me what they're gonna do, and when they're finished, they call and tell me what they found and what they've done. I haven't seen any pests. Their tech, Dylan, has been awesome, and I've been very pleased with him.

Yesterday I had a scheduled appointment from 2 dsys prior and got stood up!!! Readily took my card information but never showed up. I left my job early to wait in their ridiculous 4 hour window and no one showed and no one even called. When I called to see what was going on the customer representative had the nerves to tell me that they can reschedule me for next week. Are you serious?! Over your unprofessional mishap!! He said that they can not guarantee anything. Really? What does that day about your service? I guess you cannot guarantee a good quality job either!!! I just expected so much more from a company who swears by their name!!

I wasn't outside when the Terminix technician was here, but I have been thinking of calling back because there's still a lot of webs around on the furniture and on some of the bushes. I moved a potted container, and it was teeming with ants underneath, and I had specifically asked that the ant problem be addressed. He sprayed, but apparently, he didn't spray in that area because there were a ton of ants. As far as scheduling the service, he called and came at the time he said he'd be here.
I used to get a different technician, and he was wonderful. Then they switched him somewhere else, and so I've been getting pot luck. They're very nice people and I have no problem with any of their work, but this one time that the gentleman was here, he could have done a better job with the webs and things on the patio furniture and on the bushes. Otherwise, everything seems to be fine. We've been with Terminix forever, and I would recommend them.

Alex is the gentleman that comes to our house and he's very efficient. He's very careful. He puts on the things on his shoes. He's always thoughtful. He always asks us if there's anything that we're concerned about. I have no complaints about him. He's terrific. He gives us one or two dates that he could come. We are on his way to and from work. So, he can fit us in any time. We had an exterminator and his company was bought out by Terminix. So, he went to Terminix, but then they took him away from us and he was really good. And they gave us Alex. So, I keep telling them I don't want anybody to take him away. We had roaches in the house. We had spiders outside. He always takes care of the outside and the inside. And if there's anything, he really gets down to it. I am really happy with Terminix and I wouldn't use anybody else. I've had two people who work there and they were both excellent. We also used Terminix when we lived up north.

What a horrible experience. My parents are elderly. They have fleas in the house. I called Terminix to see if they can come to the property and get the job done. First the sales rep said absolutely they can get us a appointment within a couple of days which was lie I found out later. The sales rep also said first payment would be 240 or 250. We were sent an email for $337.00. It gets worse. They didn't show up to parents' house. Again they are elderly. Terminix sent a email showing steps on how to prepare the house. It took my parents 2 days to do this which wasted their time and energy. Now at this point I was pissed. I told them they were elderly. They showed they understand and would get someone out right away.
Nobody shows up so I called. This time the representative tries to tell me they never scheduled my appointment, that they were just trying to fit me in however I have an email that clearly said appointment scheduled. So I told her I do not want your services. Please cancel it. Do not come to my parents' house. They forward the call to retention. Now the lady I spoke to tried to sound all sad like they are losing me as a customer and I should feel bad for her. I don't know what she was on. I told her I do not care. I want my services canceled. Nobody showed up. We waited 2 days and my parents moved everything around preparing for the treatment. She said okay she will cancel the call.
Next day I check my bank statement because I do not trust them and guess what they charged me $337.00 for services that did not happen. This is completely fraud. I called terminix and the lady on the phone says it's because our autopay was not canceled. This is ridiculous. If you canceled my services why was autopay and most importantly why was my payment method not canceled as well? These people will charge you and not show up and try to play victim. If you cancel services please check your statements. What horrible company. What a disgrace. I wonder how many times they got away with this.

What a nightmare, the service tech wasn't careful and stepped through my ceiling. The hole is probably about 4 by ft. It's been almost 2 weeks, I've talked to multiple people and now I'm working with Terminix insurance co. I've spend much of my time trying to get a check so I can call my guy to fix it. Worst part is they wasted no time cashing my checks.

Terminix came and we met at the door. They went ahead and told me what they were here to do which was to spray the front and back of the house. Throughout their spraying, I carry on a normal conversation with them. They're very friendly people. The last three visits has been the same guy, which is great. I like that. Before that, I had someone different every other time. That was because a tech had quit so somebody had to cover down. But everything is great with Terminix. Occasionally, towards the end of that period of time when they need to come and respray, I might start seeing one of the German roaches out there. But we got the little traps that we were given by Terminix so they catch them.

I called Terminix. They came the same afternoon. Two people came and they already put the stations in. They made the holes in the wall where I found the activity. They put the poison in. That seemed to fix the problem. So, I'm pleased. They did everything the way they were supposed to. The only thing I was not pleased about was Terminix' contractor wanted a lot of money to close those holes. We did it ourselves because they wanted way too much. But I haven't seen another termite come through the wall so that problem is under control with the stations.
My guy came and sprayed around the house and checked the termite stations outside. I've only been a customer for a bit more than a half a year so I've always had the same technician. When he says he's coming, he would come and be on time. He would check everything out thoroughly and ask me if there was anything extra that I wanted him to check on. He's professional, friendly, and everything was good.

I had a good recent experience with Terminix. The tech came and did his job. Their service has been good. I'm seeing dead cockroaches. Apparently, the service is working. I enjoy the service person who comes out here, too. He's cordial and professional. When I first called Terminix, I had a problem with roaches. I had never experienced that before. But I found that after I called them, I didn't have that problem, and continuing to have the service is abating the problem. That's why I go on and stick with them.

I started with a different company, then they were bought out by a company and that company was bought out by Terminix. I had wasps that build nests, and my tech, a young man, sprays around the house and checks for wasps, bees, and ants. He does his thing, and he's good. I haven't had any bug problems. As a retiree on a fixed income, the price could be a bit better, but I take what I can get. I like my tech as well. He schedules his service visits unless I need him to come, He came two weeks ago and he was awesome. He always takes care of all my problems and leaves me the little boxes to put in my garage about every other visit that he comes.

Terminix comes out and sprays for bugs around the exterior of the home four times a year. They got a rotation of sprays that they do, and we have fewer bugs than we used to since we've had them. The main guy, Archie, always sends me a reminder a day or two before the visit. He also always sends me a message when he's on the way and when he's done. We often times have conversations when he's around and it keeps us well-informed. He's always the one that comes out except for the 2 times that somebody else has come out.

Terminix sent an email that said they had a home inspection scheduled. When the technician got here, he inspected the house as well as under the house and all around, and everything was fine. He made a report, and they emailed me a copy of the report. When I had a termite infestation, they came, redid everything, and got rid of them.

I'm very pleased with Terminix. If you ever have a complaint, the management at Terminix is excellent. They take it seriously and they get you what you need. They sent me one of their best technicians recently and he was excellent. He cleaned off all the spider webs off my house. I also had a wasp problem and he fixed that. He sprayed around my house like they're supposed to to keep bugs from coming in, and he did his job without me asking him. But there was a snafu during the scheduling of my service. I was scheduled once and it got canceled. Then it was on for the next day and they took care of it very quickly.
But the technician I had prior to the latest one wasn't doing his job. He refused to clear off the spider webs or kill the wasps, which was crazy since he's an exterminator. I've had this service for years and I've never had to ask anybody to do anything before. They just normally show up and get things done. But this technician came three times, was here for five minutes, and refused to do anything I asked. I was starting to get bugs. But now, I'm all good.

Updated on 07/22/2025: Our initial treatment was for pest and termite control in 2024. The agent who went to inspect our property failed to see a visible swallow's nest so after we pack everything, the person who’s about to do the termite control found the nest. It’s so difficult to pack, unpack and pack again. Terminix rescheduled our pest control a month later.
I tried to give them a second chance by renewing the pest and termite control and paid the amount that they requested. Before I paid I made sure that both pest and termite control are part of the fee which was $335.98 And I was reassured by both the person who took the payment and Rebecca, who scheduled the appointment that both (pest and termite) will be taken cared of. After all our concern is mostly ants.. When Isiah, the gentleman tasked to do the job, came he said only termite control is included. So I refused the service since I was told by two people that both pest and termite will be dealt with. I feel misled. Terminix is a big disappointment and I will never have their service again.
Original Review: With Terminix. Their expert agent failed to see a swallow's nest on the eaves on 2 visits to the house so our first schedule was cancelled after all the preparations we did and rescheduled over 2 months later. On our second confirmed schedule on September 19, 2024, I called SDGE a day before to resume our service and found out that Terminix never requested to have gas turned off. I was in tears because of frustration with Terminix so the empathetic lady, Irma with SDGE was the one who called Terminix herself to push for fumigation the next day. When the final bill came, Terminix over billed me more than what's on the contract and there was another service bill on a different date that didn't happen. I have been in touch with Terminix twice without any resolution and still waiting to hear from them.

The tech was nice and explained everything. He told us about the ant or bug spray. It wasn't toxic for my animals or my son that was back there. He got everywhere. He sprayed a couple of times in the spots where we saw ants coming in and made sure that we knew that he had sprayed it, then he went outside and did the outside of the house on the first visit. On the second visit, he did the outside of the house again, which included our front and back doors, our windows, and around the trailer. We're good. We've only seen a couple of things, which was right after he did the spraying, and the tech already explained that.

I had a few occasions where the person from Terminix said they were showing up but they never did, which is unusual. I had no problem with the person who does the regular quarterly inspections and treats certain things on the exterior. It's more of the exclusion service for the mice that I've had issues with. Their service on the exclusion side seems to have gone downhill in the last few years. They lost some of their good technicians, and then they try to get more money from you to do nothing. When they seal, they're only putting steel wool with some insulation kind of foam. Anybody can do that. You expect that the quality of what they do is gonna be better than what you or I could do, not knowing the business. But they're kind of sloppy in that aspect. I'm happy with them putting the chemicals down and killing anything visible and deferring that, but I wouldn't use them for any other kind of project except for extermination.
Overall, Terminix has been reliable. I've used them for over 20 years. So I trust the people that come into the home. But everything on the quality is going down in a lot of businesses. They're not the same organization they were that I hired 20 years ago. I've stayed with Terminix only because I have a pretty good payment plan right now because I've been their customer for so long. Also, some of the newer companies have prices that seem a little bit ridiculous, or you could just buy chemicals yourself at Home Depot and put it down.

The Terminix rep was friendly, approachable, answered all my questions, understood what I needed, and set up the appointment before he left for follow-up. I've had some people that walk in and out. I would ask them a question, they were vague about it. I caught one guy and when I told him I had problems, he took a handful of poison and threw it in my cabinet and walked off. But this last guy was good. I had a problem with roaches in my kitchen and the tech was able to address it, set up traps, and put the baits down. He may have to cancel because of the hurricane, but we got a follow-up on Friday.
He did some teaching, some of the things I already knew, but he was knowledgeable. I listened to him. I had some questions about something that was in my yard. I had some problems in my yard and my neighbor's yard with a possible underground nest, and he gave me some insight on that. He was the best guy that I had. I usually find a different bug to talk about and Terminix would give me the information that I asked for about that type of bug.

I've had good and bad experiences. I've had trouble in the past with scheduling. Somebody was supposed to come between 9:00 and 12:00. 12 o'clock, they didn't show up. I did not hear from them. So, I left. They came at 12:30. But nobody called me. I waited three hours for them and nobody called to say they would be late or I would have stayed for another half hour and waited for them. But that was some time ago. With the gal today, when I called her about my problem, I had a good experience with her. She was very nice and professional. She worked with me on scheduling. She was able to give me an appointment that I could meet.
I had Terminix come out and do a termite inspection and they were doing one every year, and you get some sort of guarantee against termites by doing it. I used to sell real estate and it's important to have regular termite inspection because if you get termites, somebody would be responsible. I had trouble with wasps making mess on my front door. I called them and got a pest control thing. I occasionally get mice and I put these traps out and I got them. Five years ago, I got mice I couldn't get rid of, and had a mouse nest in my attic. That cost me a small fortune. They gave me a loan at 15% or some high rate. I paid off the loan and I'm not sure whether I paid extra money or not, but I did not like the way that was handled.
I've had a couple of times when they wanna come out and do an inspection, and would try to find something more to sell me. I have one time somebody did an inspection and they told me I needed to have the little termite things in my yard less than a year before. I've already got them and I paid them for it. So, some of them are honest and some of them are not. Other than that, Terminix is a name I trust. They have been around for a long time. They got some good people and some bad people, which happens with anybody.

I got a text saying Terminix is fixing to come out. They pick the date. They would say, "We'll be out" and a date. They would put the time. If it was inconvenient for me, I would text the guy back and let him know it wouldn't work and tell him what day would. The person explained everything beforehand what he would do and afterwards. He was very nice. He explained everything.

Terminix has been coming out to take care of the outside every three months. They let me know. I don't have to interact with them unless I had some issues inside. If I did, they would come in and take care of the inside. But most of the time, they're on time doing what they gotta do and come in and do it or come out to come outside and go around the perimeter. I thought something was up in the attic. I thought I heard something, they did something in the attic part of the house, and went around to each vent. Whatever was there, they said it would come out or die. They covered all the vents so nothing could come up and go inside the house. They put the termite containers around my house.

A couple of years ago during COVID, I had a termite problem. Terminix didn't wanna help me out with the damage with the termites. That was just very sad. Almost got rid of them. From day one, I was told they were supposed to spray but they never did. I paid a lot of money, 2,500 bucks when they first started. And they never came out and sprayed. All they do is put baits around the house. They came out after I called. I said, "How come?" The guy said, "This place should have been sprayed years ago." I said, "They never did." She sprayed when I had problems in the basement with the wall. I found out there was damage back there. I took the whole thing apart myself because I'm a carpenter. One of the guys came out and said, "I can't see any now." I said, "They're gone because I threw them at my backyard. I don't want them to be in my wall."

I've had Terminix for 20 years. I had a bug contract at one time, and I did away with it because it wasn't doing a bit of good. They weren't getting rid of them. I went to the Helena Agri chemical place, and I got some stuff that got rid of the bugs. Last week, the techs came to check those pod things that they put around the house in the yard to stop the termites. They didn't show the pods to me, but they said they found some in one of them, and the rest of them were clear.
The only thing I dislike about Terminix is they notify me by text message the day before they're coming out. I wasn't even gonna be home that next day. I need a week's notice so I can tell them whether or not I'm gonna be home that day. I don't like them being out of my house or to want me to do stuff with a 24-hour's notice. I am 74. My husband and I are busy. We're at the doctor's office, shopping or doing something else.

They answer all my questions and call to tell me in advance when they're gonna be in my area. They're so expensive though and I wish they would always let me know ahead of time when they're coming. I'm usually at work when the technician comes. I try to make sure that my gate is open and my son is aware so the dogs don't get out.

I've had Terminix for over 30 years, and they're good. I'm satisfied with the service. We live in the middle of rice fields so mosquitoes are gonna be bad no matter what.

My mom started the contract with Terminix and we've had them for many years. Their technicians have been good throughout the years we've had them.
