    The Terminix team has been treating our yard for mosquitoes. Every one of them has been cordial. They let me know when they're coming and they come when they say they come. They do their job and the mosquitoes are staying away. The service is performed routinely. However, the first time they did it they didn't call or email me so I wasn't sure if they came then as I wasn't there, but after that I have known that they come. So doing the scheduling is easy. The techs are definitely professional, knowledgeable and explained what they're doing and what the product would do. I'm glad I have their great service as we've had a lot of outdoor activities and we're not getting eaten up by mosquitoes.

    I had called Terminix initially because we have their service for termites but we've been noticing mosquitoes around so I asked them if they service that, too, and they do. The area has been reported to have the West Nile virus in mosquitoes right now, so it's another reason why we got the service. The technician did his job, sprayed everything he needed to spray, and he was gone. So far we've had only two treatments and Terminix is coming out tomorrow for the third. Their techs were prompt, very knowledgeable with the products and what they would be doing. They were also very courteous in asking us to keep the dogs in and in giving us certain rules that we need to follow while they're spraying. They go out of their way for us, which is nice. When they do their job, they make no mess nor get anything broken. Because I’ve had people in the past come and service us and they broke things.

    The treatment seems to be working very well and isolating the mosquitoes. We haven't seen any more floating around lately and there was only one mosquito in one of the traps that were set. The test would be when we're going to have a function on the sixth for my mother-in-law's 88th birthday. It's another reason why I wanted to make sure I didn't have mosquitoes around because a lot of the people will be in the backyard. So far, Terminix has been great and I would definitely refer them because I'm very comfortable with them.

    I have a monthly mosquito service by Terminix. It's all done automatically so I don't have to do anything. Steve is awesome and I would recommend him. He does my mosquito service and my regular quarterly pest service. I like the service done on a certain day and they schedule it on that day. Steve would go in and automatically update it to the day I want it. The only issue I had with them was with the yearly inspections with the termites. It was not Steve that comes but some other person that does it. I originally scheduled it and then the first time, I waited all day, but he never came. The guy had some personal issue. I was pissed off because the manager should have at least called and said that the guy is not coming and to state the reason, and that would have been fine. I don't like that I had to be the one to reach out at the end of the day and say, "What the hell is going on here?" But other than that, I am satisfied with their service.

    I love my exterminator from Terminix. I have the same one all the time and he is great. He listens to me and he does what he thinks is best for what's happening in my house so I'm very happy. He came recently but I didn't see what he did because he knows what and how to get where he has to spray. He took care of everything and it seems to have worked. He's very personable.     I spoke with the Terminix reps today about why I had to have so many changed appointments this month, when there's just one date that they're supposed to come out for me. My service schedule was changed three different times. On one of these, the technician came out on the regular time. My service is scheduled routinely, but they keep changing my dates without me knowing, and it gets confusing. Like when they came yesterday, I had to go for my COPD checkup, so I wasn't here when the technician came to do the service. But he came back out, knew exactly what he had to do. I had no problem with him - he did a very good job.

    The last time when they came out and did the mosquito treatment, a couple of days after that we had no problems with the mosquitoes and I never did call in. But this time, on the date they were going out and coming around the house, I didn't want the mosquito treatment done in the house, so the technician took care of that matter. Some areas in the house are limited when I have a lot of stuff for my COPD machine, and we want nobody to go inside the room where it's in. The technician was very courteous and did whatever I asked him to do. I would recommend Terminix to a friend. Since I've had them, I haven't had any major problems with pests. Anytime I ask about a situation, they try to address it to the best of their ability and help in any way they can.

    Terminix comes out to spray for mosquitoes monthly. They usually let me know in advance what day it's going to be and I call them if I'm not available or for some reason they can't do it that day. Otherwise, I wait for their guy to show up. Every technician who's been out has been friendly and really nice so far. I haven't seen any mosquitoes since their service and we haven't had a lot of rain where we are so that keeps the mosquitoes down anyway. Nonetheless, the experience has been very positive and I'm very satisfied.

    We have our regular pest service by Terminix. They come routinely. But then I had more pest activity so I scheduled online for them to do a follow-up. Scheduling took me a couple of minutes and it was very easy. They came right out and took care of it. I had no problem. The technicians that I've had have always done a nice job, been very friendly, and courteous. They call ahead, come to the door and check on what needs to be done. They also have a great website service. It works really well. It's easy to track all your appointments and see all your invoices.

    I have been dealing with Terminix for months now. They did a termite treatment and for one left holes all in driveway put down Sentricon bait system. We still have termites. Have called several times no one will call back and no one shows up. There's new damage to house. They are the worst company for termites and something needs to be done asap.

    Our Terminix service is done routinely and everything has been going well. We asked them to take care of the mosquitoes. They notify me what day they're gonna come so we can shut the windows and so the smell of what they're doing doesn't end up coming in. The first time that I had them out, they surveyed the land and told me some problem areas and what they could do to help. The technician was great and I signed up that day. Terminix has been out twice since then and I haven't been home when they came out but they're professional, courteous, and everything was good. There are no mosquitoes in my backyard now.     I've had an excellent experience with Terminix. I have their mosquito treatment and the general pest control service. The mosquito coverage is new for me and it's going to be once a month for a couple of months. The general pest control service is going to continue as long as I think they're satisfactory. Moreover, I get to schedule my service. Sometimes, they notify me when they'll be coming, but if I'm not happy with that schedule, I can cancel it and get another appointment and that's how both services work. I get their clear email notification well ahead of time. I print it up, put it on my fridge so I don't forget and have the schedule marked on my calendar also.

    It was fine and excellent with the technicians. They said I don't have to be home when they come for my service, but I like to be home whenever anybody comes to my property and that's fine with them too. I don't really watch them out there and just trust that they're doing what they promise to do, and I'm hoping I won't have mosquitoes this summer. I've always felt that if I had a complaint, I could call Terminix and they would try to handle it for me. The guys and the woman who do the spraying are really nice, completely polite and friendly, and I like that as well.

    Since my last service, there are spiders along my fences in the vines at the back, so I'm not sure if they spray along there. I'm not surprised that there are spiders when I've got vines since the spiders are very attracted to making their webs on vines. I once had pest control that would sweep the spider webs away, but I don't know if that's part of Terminix's service. I could ask them if they'd spray the fence and I think they would do it, too. I don't have too many spiders in the house though and that's my main worry.

    Terminix does the mosquitoes spray for me and it's performed routinely. The guy who comes and does all the inspections is amazing. I never had an issue with him. He's knowledgeable and professional. He told us that when every time we need something, he will be there right away. No questions asked. I keep my house open for him and I don't need to be there because I trust him with my eyes closed. I don't need to worry about it.     I like Terminix as the formula that they're using for the mosquitoes works good, I'm pleased with it. However, to send out the technician was the poor part. Alabama weather is going crazy. It's a lot of sunshine in the morning and you never know what happens in the afternoon, it's pouring rain and storm. They have a monthly schedule then the guy comes in and sprays. They said the formula of the spray has to be dried within 24 hours and it would work. Two hours later, it just rains and washes the formula of the spray out. Then I noticed that the mosquitoes still come in biting the next day or two, the formula didn't work.

    So I called and explained that we needed them to spray the formula again. They gave me the schedule, date, and timeframe then they never showed up. I waited all day then I called them and they said that they were sorry, they didn't know what happened and they would schedule me again. They said I don't have to be paranoid but I wanted to make sure that they'd spray. I had to call over and over, and that was a little bit frustrating. They don't seem so consistent and keep the right schedule.

    The last time that they sprayed on our house and it got rained, it was the 4th of July and we had the company and a barbeque in our site. We got big bites, and the company as well. I was so upset and so I called them and we scheduled then they didn't come out. Our guy apologized and he said that their schedule is so busy and he couldn't make it. But they should at least let me know if they can come or when they're gonna come. But hopefully, it's gonna be smooth until October as mosquito season is over that time.

    My daughter is going through the same thing. I recommended Terminix to her as I had a good experience the first months. She's pregnant so she was very scared about the mosquito then she called them and started the service. Then they got rain and she's trying to call Terminix again and set up a schedule. They never showed up and she got really frustrated too. She said she's been calling and she doesn't know what to do. I told her she should've kept calling, but then we never have to do that.

    But the technicians were very nice and hardworking, and I'm satisfied with them. The last service was good as well. The technician apologized then he came in and sprayed, and I don't see the mosquito. I went outside in the morning and afternoon, doing some of my flower and garden stuff, and I didn't get bitten. I just wish they have more technicians, especially during mosquito seasons. And then when it rains, they should come back and service again, so we don't get bitten by the mosquito. They're a very good company and their product is excellent. We are still on contract with them for the termites. So once year, I have service with them, and I'm continuing. This is the first year we have the mosquito service and I hope that their scheduling would be better and satisfy the customer.

    I wrote a review earlier about the technician not showing up the last time. They contacted me and tried to reach a solution. They offered me that the manager would come by himself to do the service. I agreed and he came and did it. I change my rating to three stars because they tried to fixed what happened. I would give 5 stars if that happened from the beginning.

    No stars if possible. I had an appointment from 10-12 so I had to drive down to open the door for whoever was suppose to come. I waited for 4 hours and no one showed up. I called the customers service 4 times and this is hands down the most useless customer service I have seen in my life. First, they told me they a phone number for the person who was suppose to come (like seriously?). Second, they said that they tried to call the branch and no one answers because the branch manager is in vacation and the service manager is not pick up!!! (Are you kidding me?). I ended up cancelling the service. I pretty sure there are other companies who respect their customers more than this one.

    We have had 2 treatments for pests. The service took all of 15 minutes but the technician was more than 1.5 hours late for each appointment. The first time the technician said his alarm clock did not work. The excuse for the second time is that a technician from the wrong area was scheduled... My advice is to try any other service than Terminix!

    Updated on 07/08/2016:One issue was resolved. But, Maurice, their regional manager, said one of the service elements needed to be reevaluated. We scheduled a visit... AND AGAIN NO ONE SHOWED UP and Maurice did not follow up! Not a happy customer!

    So I had termites and purchased service thru Terminix around 5 years ago. I paid the initial thousands of dollars to have them treat and take care of my issue. The salesman, inspector decided to use the liquid treatment on my property. I pay my yearly renewal fee to keep the warranty/guarantee up to date which I find out recently that I'm not 100% protected/covered like the salesman/Customer Service told me I would be initially. Great to tell me something different 5 years later. I'm assuming I get told that over and over again so they can get that initial huge amount of money and renewal fee each year. So all the sudden instead of renewing your yearly protection over the phone, an inspector has to come out to "check" your property. Lo and behold I'm told we don't use the liquid system anymore, doesn't work as well as the bait system and I believe some other reasons.

    So they want me to pay around $1500 to update my property to the bait system now?? I'm sorry but it's not my fault your salesman and inspector chose the liquid system. I called in yesterday to express my concerns and the customer service didn't help so he sent me to someone higher up and he was called a Liaison??? He was not helpful at all and kept suggesting having an inspector come back out to the property for I guess go over the same thing?? I said that would be a waste of time for everyone and more importantly the customer service is just terrible anymore with Terminix. How about helping the customer out??? I know that seems strange with a customer service department. Why don't you update my system since I already spent thousands of dollars on a system you don't use anymore and say it doesn't work well??? Really. If this doesn't get taken care of...I'll explore other ways so myself and others aren't taken/treated like this anymore.

    I'm more than happy with the Terminix guys. They're always real nice, polite and helpful. The tech always comes to the door and lets me know which things he's going to do. Then he comes back to the door, tells me that he's through and asks if there's anything else I need. They take care of everything. I'm also happy with their service and my daughter says the pest activity in our home seems to be better than the neighbors'. They didn't get rid of everything but they got rid of enough of it that she can tell a difference. I've recommended them before.

    My recent service with Terminix was for preventative services. My primary issue is mice and the techs have laid down bait traps. They do a great job at controlling the population. But when they come out, I'm never home. It's a scheduling nightmare but it's not necessarily their fault. Generally, I speak with somebody on the phone to schedule a service because I can't work through the web interface. Either I'm locked out or it tells me I don't have an account. I end up doing three service calls a month, which they provide free and that's wonderful. Then, the techs come right out. They are amazing and without exception, really friendly and nice. They do the job and the job works. Now, the mice problem is almost completely gone. I haven't seen them out for months. I got some spiders and ants, but they stick mostly to the outside of the building.

    We were scheduled for May 23 to be tented. The men came to tent at 5:15 PM and said they couldn't do it because we have a covered lanai (decking). My husband and I were with them and suggested they put plastic covering over the deck. They then called supervisors and went to front yard to talk, and after a few minutes, I went to see them and they had left - did not even tell us they were leaving. Called Terminix as we had all food out of house, arrangements made to drive 1 hour to Stuart to stay with friends, and 2 dogs - one that is 15 and can hardly walk. Of course, you do not talk to a local Terminix person when you call - EVER - no matter what day or time. You are sent to a call office in Tampa and they relay the msg - and someone will call us within 24-48 hours!!!

    Since we were packed to leave, we did. I called and complained the next day but to no avail. The 'message center' sent msg to 3 people: Vincent, Thaier, David, and Mark. A couple of days later, David came with a 'Fumigation Expert', who left before I got to talk to him as he was in a hurry. David proceeds to tell us that these 3 deck boards *about 3 ft long - had to be removed. I told him 'that will not happen' because you would have to remove 70 x 30 feet of decking to get to those as it is screwed from underneath. Two days later, David comes with a company from Miami. The Miami guy looks at our deck and says 'no problem - just buy plastic and cover the boards'!!!!! We have never been fumigated in 30 years here and we knew what should be done and you - Terminix - did not!!

    It was common sense - cover the 8 x 10 ft of deck with plastic so the fumes could not get out. This happened about 4 days later and I told them to please get it done within a week so I wouldn't have to unpack and buy food, etc. Well, again, Dave said it would be June 23 (one month after our original date) BUT he said we would be the first one to be put on a list for a cancellation and that it would be sooner. I had several other termite people come to give me estimates - all which were lower. But I am a person that wants everything done right - even if I pay more. I searched the internet and found that Terminix was #1 of a list of 10 companies and that it had the 'Gold Metal' award and 85 years of experience.

    Not wanting to deal with a smaller company because if there were problems, I do not feel confident they will handle them. Thus, I choose Terminix. It was a horrible experience and I will be writing it up on other websites. You, Terminix, like many other large companies are living off your name - but your work and ethics say otherwise. What a disappointment. I would not recommend you to anyone.

    Terminix sent out their tech (Kim) and she is a very nice tech. However, I paid $1,100 to have spot treatment done as well as 2 more years of service. A couple days later I changed my mind and decided to tent now. Kim said she would process a refund for the $1,100 I had already paid and also said she would tent all 5 units connected to mine for $750 and later that changed to $810 just because... Last week Tuesday the 21st of June I called to see where my refund was since I had not seen it come back into my card. Kim asked I call the main number and once I called I was told it would take around 3-5 days for my refund to go back in my account. Today the 29th of June I checked and my refund is still not there. The incompetent people I spoke to today at Terminix said the money never came out of my account and I see it posted every day.

    The people who I spoke with today were the rudest I have ever spoken with in the little time I have dealt with Terminix. These women kept speaking over me and would get loud when I got frustrated at their lack of willingness to help and their incompetence was so extraordinary I had to just call my bank to try and figure out where the money Terminix stole from me wound up. Please do not use this company for any pest control or termite control. They lie to get your business and then they steal your money and claim they do not have it. They said they needed proof they charged me. Well see below for the proof yourselves. These people at Terminix are thieves and on top of that very rude with no customer service skills at all.

    No matter what, go elsewhere. The management could not care less about the quality of service at this location. We contracted Terminix to complete a crawlspace encapsulation at our home on 3/29. They began the work on 4/13, which included just pulling out the old insulation, and have not been back since. It's 5/26. They left 1800 square feet of insulation sitting in my backyard since 4/13. They have repeatedly told me that they are coming out the next day to pick it up, yet here it still sits. I have been leaving messages at every level of management for weeks that the city is ticketing me for the insulation and Terminix has done absolutely nothing but make promises. They consistently pass the buck and make excuses on those rare occasions when I can actually get in contact with someone. And then they have the audacity to treat me as if something is wrong with me because I am upset about the situation.

    I have kids and pets who I have to be concerned about getting into this insulation, and neighbors who are extremely upset about having to look at it. I have literally spent hours on the phone on hold trying to resolve this situation. It seems as if absolutely no one at Terminix cares about anything but taking your money. They may be fine for basic bug services but for anything else, please save yourself a terrible experience.

    Update: It's now 6/23/16 and the work that I contracted Terminix to do in March still has not been completed. They finally removed all of the insulation from my backyard and came out once to do more of the work but it's still far from done. There has been no pop-up issues. My home hasn't needed any extra work, Terminix just has not given a damn about coming to my home to complete the work. Corporate still hasn't done anything despite numerous complaints on my part. The local Terminix manager won't return my calls. Yet, Terminix still doesn't have a problem getting those bills out on time or cashing my checks. As I have been talking to others in the community who have dealt with Terminix everyone says run away. Their customer service is horrible. There is no real way to escalate real problems. The folks on the 800 number just "leave messages" with the regional managers who have never once contacted me or done anything to correct the problem.

    And they have made no effort to pay the fine for the ticket that I received from the city for the 1,800 square ft of insulation that they left balled up in my backyard, worse yet, they never even apologized. I really mean it when I say that they truly do not care. Second update 6/25/16. So after I posted my update, Terminix Social Media team contacted me supposedly in order to help me resolve my case. You know what their solution was? Nothing. Yep, the same old runaround, the "we will be sure to forward your issue to the manager at your local Terminix".

    This man will not answer his phone, return my message left directly to him, respond to complaints lodged through the 1-800 Terminix customer service line, nor other messages sent through the completely useless "escalation" specialists. It's like they did not even read my review and just fell back the canned reply that is supposed to give me hope. What part of it's been since April do you not understand. I have tried this all before. NO ONE CARES AT TERMINIX.

    Terminix was the first to call when I inquired about pest control services. Initially, the first person I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. I got my estimate and my appointment for the next day, which was between 5pm - 7pm because I work. I left work 2 hours early the day of my appt to ensure I was home in enough time to meet Terminix. I have a huge spiders problem (tarantula sized spiders but they are called fruit spiders) so of course I was desperate to get it done right away. No one showed up so I called to find my appointment was switched to the next day between 5 - 7pm. Highly disappointed I thought maybe it was my mistake on which day, although I swore they said the day before. So I left work early again the next day, which was an inconvenience with all the work I had left on my desk.

    I get home and no one shows at 5pm so I CALL AGAIN... Voice service told me my appt was changed to Friday morning between 8am - 10am. I work, I'm not available that time and they didn't even call me to tell me they needed to switch my appointment. They just kept switching without notifying me of any changes. Good thing I called. I was very upset so I told them how this was inconvenient and they got an attitude with me and cancelled my appointment. I got transferred to someone who was nice but unfortunately, they couldn't get anyone out to me right away.

    I ditched Orkin because they were second to call but their price was cheaper. I made a commitment to Terminix and they were horrible. So now I have to go the entire weekend without having my house exterminated, may encounter more spiders. I went and called Orkin and they were friendly and ensured someone will be out on Monday. They gave an earlier appointment for Friday but I have a funeral to go to. I wish I would have went with Orkin in the first place and cancelled with Terminix. I would have had my house exterminated by now! I am also calling corporate office on this in hopes they will figure out which office handled this issue so poorly.

    My husband and I have utilized Terminix for the termite control and monitoring for several years. Therefore, when we realized we had a rodent issue, we naturally turned to them for help. They quoted a price and we paid it. They came out to seal up the exterior of the home. Now, one would assume this would result in careful, professional work. Unfortunately, we ended up with bubbling, shotty-looking work that detracts from the home appearance. You can actually see the sections where the material they "injected" has caused a bubbling in the roof area. That being said, we were still hopeful that perhaps it would resolve the issue. That was the level of our desperation, shotty-looking, but if it works, we'll be happy. I cannot help but think now, that perhaps if we lived in a more affluent area, with nicer homes, that this would certainly NOT have been acceptable work for the workers or the company.

    Unfortunately, we now have bubbled looking hole plugs and STILL have a rodent issue that's pretty severe. They laid poison at one point and again, problem continues. We feel as though they did not desire to solve the problem, but rather, continue to get money from us for surface-level responses that did not address the real problems. Recently, they withdrew $111 from our account stating that we had to tell them "not to" do it, or it would simply be done. Who does business this way? Not to mention, they charged additional money for simply "walking around" property on a day we could not be present and were adamant that because the tech logged it in the notes, we had no room to complain nor doubt that anything occurred. Now, given that we have 3 giant dogs in the backyard, I am curious how they can say they "walked around" when they could not have accessed the backyard.

    The money we have spent with NO results has been frustrating and disappointing to say the least. We have canceled all services with them, even though they required us to pay the disputed charge with a threat of sending it to collections if we did not. There was never a concern that we were dissatisfied. There was never an attempt to make things better. No customer service, no integrity, and no concern that the job is not being done well. Terrible way to do business. We will never recommend their service to others and will be certain to let people who ask for recommendations know about our experience.

    I called Terminix for both termite and flying carpenter ants. It was scheduled very easily and it went smoothly. The service techs came very promptly and planted the termite bait traps around the perimeter of the house. When that was finished, another person sprayed around the sides of the house for the carpenter ants. I’ve seen no sign of any termites or carpenter ants since I had the service. Unfortunately, a week after they came, contrary to my instructions and walk-around with them, my spring cleanup maintenance people covered seven of the eighteen termite bait traps with mulch. The Terminix tech had made a chart of the location of those bait traps. No one’s come to check up on the activity in the bait traps since they were installed. I have tried a couple of times to get a copy of that location map so that I could uncover them. I’ve called them, but haven’t had any response. Nevertheless, I’m very satisfied.

    Terminix has made mistake after mistake, and I've only been with them 2 months! First, they billed me twice the amount they originally quoted me for the termite-pest control package. Second, my bill kept increasing every month! Third, after the termite spikes were put into my yard (front & back) I still had termite activity! I called & asked for a termite specialist to come out. They scheduled me on a Wednesday between 1-3. I took off from work and waited at home. No phone call! No show!!!     We were suppose to have our first service call today and Terminix was a NO SHOW. We called the company to find out where they were and how much later they would be and all we got was the runaround. When you call the 866 # you first have to go through the computerized answering system answering certain questions, then you get a live person who you basically repeat the same info to, then you are switched to someone who asks the very same questions you just answered.

    The last person is supposedly the person who can get in touch with the office you need talk to. However, no one was available but I was told to expect a return call shortly. THREE HOURS LATER - No call from anyone. They were a no show and then not one person had the decency to call us back. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! They had all the time in the world to take our payment last week over the phone in order to get the appointment scheduled. Funny, they even wanted full payment for the entire annual service charge upfront but fortunately we elected to only pay for the first visit. My husband was out an entire days work just waiting for a company that didn't show up and then didn't even bother to call after we contacted them about the issue. No apology. No nothing!!!

    Terminix comes out every quarter and they let me know automatically. I have four houses on Martha's Vineyard and they do all of them. If for some reason it's not a good day, I call Laurel in the Bourne office and we will change the day. I give a lot of credit to her for being more than a receptionist. The technician, Bruce, will call my property manager or me if I'm on the island and we have an extremely good setup. Communication is phenomenal. I rarely have any pest activity in my house.     We have Terminix on two different properties for a number of years. However recently, scheduling the service was horrible. I can't talk to anybody from a local office and has to go through a main office. I wanted the appointment for two weeks out and they told me that they couldn't make appointments that far in advance. I called again a week out and they said that they didn't have any appointments on the day that I had wanted. I had to request that they had to send something to somewhere else to find out if we could get an appointment on the day that I wanted. Then I got confirmation of an appointment on the day that I was not available.

    The reason I actually called them out was because we had received reports that they needed to do an inside inspection because of live termite activity. This was in the vacation home where we need to travel to to make sure that somebody can be there to let a technician into the house and do an inspection. I wasn't going to drive four hours to this house unless I knew I had an appointment. Then the appointment came up and the technician showed up but he did not have to go into the house at all. He just needed to go into the crawlspace which has access from outside that he knew where it was and I did not have to be there to let him in. It was frustrating. I'm hoping that he did what he needed to do in order to make sure that we do not have live termite activity anywhere. I only had to trust what he said. This was the first time that we've had a lousy experience with them. Usually, if they come out, they do the inspection and we don't even have to be around.

    I have been under contract with Terminix for 9 months on a cottage I rent out. We needed to get rid of the 4" long cockroaches. The service guy is called out regularly but to no avail. I'm about to lose a good tenant because she is afraid to walk around in her home at night because the cockroaches are still invading the unit. The service guy sprays (I think he is using water!) and nothing seems to help. When asking for help from the corporate offices, they will not give me the local phone number and just cancelled my service. I can't find any info on their "100% Money Back Warranty"... These guys are terrible! DON'T USE THEM!

    UPDATED ON 08/22/2016: I wrote a review about my terrible experience with Terminix and the fact that they don't honor their warranty or do what they promise even in their services. I had a one year contract that cost me over $700 on a new property that had been remodeled from the studs up. We sealed all the walls, baseboards and every damn access in the place, but Terminix could not control the damn cockroaches. I sent ConsumerAffairs a review, but it looks like this has "been resolved"... IT HAS NOT! They have never controlled the cockroaches. I've lost my tenant over this and the company is worthless. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE... They'll drive you absolutely crazy with excuses and lies!

    I have been incredibly disappointed with our experience with Terminix. Several months ago, I developed odd bites on my foot. We had previously had bedbugs in our home two years ago, and I was afraid they were back. I knew it was unlikely, and didn't really see any other signs of them, but Terminix offered a free inspection so we scheduled one just for peace of mind. When the inspector came out, he did not see any signs of bugs in the first bedroom, or anywhere in or on the bed in the second bedroom. However, he did find what he said was a dead stinkbug deep in the crevice of the floorboard of the second bedroom. Since we knew we had had them two years ago, my husband ask the inspector if it could have possibly just been there for two years (as it was in so deep the inspector couldn't even get it out). He said "no way, it would be dust by now."

    So, believing his statement that if he saw one there were more, we scheduled a bedbug service. When the person came to treat for bedbugs three days later, he told us that he saw absolutely no signs of them anywhere. We pointed out to him the bug in the floorboard and he said it wasn't even a bed bug. Further, he did say that he did find one dead bedbug in our couch. However as soon as he touched it, it turned to dust -- showing that it was really old. When we asked him if it could have been there from two years ago, he said "absolutely." So at this point we knew the initial inspector had lied to us not only about the bug being a bed bug, but also about a bug maintaining its shape for two years (we've since learned that since their exoskeleton is on the outside, an untouched bedbug would retain its shape forever). We had been duped into paying for a service we didn't need.

    After this, I called Terminix multiple times over several weeks, demanding a refund. We had paid $900 cash and financed approximately $2,000 for this service. I was told repeatedly that someone from our local Allentown branch would contact me, but that never happened. Eventually a refund of the $900 was credited to our account -- but I still have not heard from anyone from the office. We continue to get bills from the financing company for the remaining $2000, and I have continued to call Terminix about this issue for months.

    The main number keeps telling me there is nothing they can do and they will pass it onto the Allentown branch. However no one from Allentown branch is calling me back, and now our account has been sent to collections. The lying and swindling that went into selling us an unneeded service is bad enough, but the lack of customer support and follow up after the sale is beyond ridiculous and completely unacceptable. I should not have to spend hours on the phone trying to fix someone else's mistake.

They had sprayed everywhere initially for the ants but the first person missed one of the trails that were outside, so the ants were still coming in the house. So I had a second visit, and this second guy looked at it and found one other trail that was leading in the house. The technicians have been very nice.     Terminix came out 3 times to retreat for subterranean termites and drilled where they didn't drill before, followed by the territory supervisor to ensure the job was done correctly. I do believe now the termite problem has been treated correctly.

    8 months ago, Terminix diagnosed that I had two types of termites. Formosan termites and regular termites. They dug around my house and poured chemicals in the ground and treated my entire house with various chemicals as well. Formosan termites are bad and eat wood fast. I made mental note of where the wood was eaten to in my garage at the time of the treatment. A month passed and I witnessed continued destruction to my garage roof beams. The damage continued to grow larger at an alarming rate. I called Terminix and they came out and said that it's common when the house shakes that wood shavings would continue to drop and refused to retreat the area.

    7 months later and my garage roof is about to cave in. The termites are there and continue to spread. If any weight was laid on my roof, it would cave it. The beams are so eaten out. Now they swarming every other night and my garage fills with thousands of flying termites. Some of them find their way into my house and were flying around my bedroom. So, obviously, their termination efforts did not work. Nobody will return my phone call. My next step is to hire an attorney because they must be held responsible for the damage that was done by the termites that they didn't get rid of and, even though I informed them of this, they wouldn't retreat my house.

    I wrote a review on 11/15/2015 and I trusted Terminix' response as to what they had done and I thought that the $4000 that I paid to have extermination service for rats was way overpriced but did not argue. Now, six months later, my house sale fell through because the inspector detected a rat infestation. In addition I had a local rep come out last week for my exclusion check up and he himself stated that some entry points were not sealed off properly! Seriously! $4000 and six months later I have rats again and my house sale fell through? If this is not rectified I am suing Terminix! I had four realtors come to the house when I was looking to list it and all four of them scoffed at the notion that I used Terminix and now I know why! I NEED this resolved now as I have ample grounds for a lawsuit against Terminix!

    It took me considerable efforts to schedule a service with Terminix. Scheduling is a mess. When you call, the CS reps will transfer you from one to another. There are more schedulers than customers, so one scheduler has no clue what another one is doing. My wife is dedicated not only to pay for this service but to be online with the reps and they're usually very dumb, slow and not productive. However, the techs do a good job.     I've tried 9 times over a period of 8 weeks to try to get Terminix to repair the damage they did to my bedroom ceiling when I paid almost $6000 for an exclusion that replaced the insulation in my attic. Kinda frustrating that I can't get Terminix to respond. They started the repair, but won't finish it. I've been a customer for over 25 years. I guess I'm not sure what it takes to become a valued customer.

    I have had a termite contract with Terminix for 2 years and have made constant complaints, all the way to Corporate. They do NOT respond within 24 hours. They DO NOT make appointments on time, or in many cases, at all. I lose money for not being at work. I have LIVE termites in my home, flying around, and the branch managers do absolutely nothing. It is supposed to have 24-hour resolution. It has been 2 weeks.

    I've contacted Terminix since it was the first company that popped on my google research due to some "activity" in the attic. I had someone show up and investigate what the problem was and was told I had squirrels and mice in the attic, pushed me into signing papers and of course I wanted to get rid of whatever was going on up there... Turns out after the "billing" was stipulated, and the exterminators showed up to look again, there were no signs of activity whatsoever, maybe some droppings in the unfinished part of the basement that we barely use and possibly there before we moved in... Anyways, you can not contact anyone about it, they will not call you back, now I have a huge bill financed for something I totally did not need to begin with! Do not trust them!! Rip off and terrible in solving any issue!
