    I am satisfied with Terminix. I have their basic service. They treat my home for bugs and make sure that we don't have any issues. I have a routine schedule, but if there is a problem that shows up on the interim, I can schedule a visit. The local branch is very receptive, but the 1-800 number scheduling is sub par and I could do without. Dave, our regular technician is great. He's always very personable and always willing to check and double check something out.

    Our Terminix serviceman is always prompt with his visits. We recently had a huge problem with mice in the pastor's office and he worked very hard at solving this problem and did a great job. He is always dressed clean and professional and very nice. He always lets me know he is in the building and ask if we are having any problems we are aware of that he needs to address and has a concerning spirit to eliminate and problems we might be having.

    Yes, the problem was resolved by them calling me, explaining what happened, and apologizing for not calling or emailing me to notify me of the change in appt. time. They rescheduled me for Thursday, the 20th, and did show up for the inspection between 3-5 p.m. as planned. That would then rate them 5 stars.

    I had a service call scheduled for 3-5 p.m. April 18; there was a confirmation email sent over the weekend from Terminix, reminding me that I need to be at home to let the Inspector inside the house. I was here fro 3-7 p.m. - no phone call, no email, nothing to let me know he wasn't coming as scheduled. When I called this morning, I was told that the inspection had been rescheduled for the April 21st - I have not received an email or a phone call about this change. The least they could do is ask if that time is convenient for me. When I told them "No", I needed them to put me on the list for tomorrow April 20th at 9 a.m. the gentlemen I spoke with told me he would transfer me to someone else to see if it could be done. After over 12 min. on hold I hung up.

    This also happened the last time I had an inspection scheduled from 2-4 p.m. At 3 p.m. I called - they couldn't tell me where he was or why he was late. He showed up after 5 p.m. and apologized - what if I hadn't been home when he came? Terminix, this is 2 strikes against you, we have been customers for over 10 yrs., and I will be moving my termite service is this problem continues.

    I've seen signs of termites in our trailer coach in Florida, where they come back off and on. Every time we see signs of them, we call Terminix and they come and treat it. But this last time, there was a sign that there was more than usual. So the technicians came and verified that we did have termites. The techs were very professional and everything was good with them. They told me our coach needed to be tented so they're gonna put a tent over it and treat it on May 2nd. In the meantime, they have to send me a paper that I have to sign, and I'm waiting for that to come.

    It was great with Terminix. They’re good. Scheduling services has been pleasant. They come quarterly and if I need them to come more frequently in between, they do. Our exterminator comes to the door, lets me know he’s there, gets right to work, checks in if he leaves, and I have no bugs. He's very efficient and quick. If I’m not at home, he takes care of the exterior of the house and leaves me some paperwork. They get everything done in a timely manner. Also, the prices are competitive so there’s no messing around.

    Terminix is great. We've never had any issues since we got them six years ago. Our schedule every three months is set up for us automatically and they remind us on my email and then by phone. If we need to reschedule, we will reschedule. The technicians change every now and then, but we've had the same professional one in the last few times and I appreciate it. They are excellent. If we do have any problem like extra bugs, usually in the summertime, when we live out in the country, we just call Terminix. They'll come out and re-treat. The tech who came last time asked if we need any service like inside the house, and if we do, she'll come in and spray inside. She just treats the house, lets me know when she's done and finally gives me a ticket. I'm very pleased.

    We discovered Terminix when we were getting a new kitchen floor and had to call because we discovered termites, and then I’ve had the maintenance they offer for yearly checks. I've had them since the ‘70s or ‘80s. They are very dependable. I haven’t had any problems with termites. I found their technicians to be very polite and friendly. They usually ask if I have any questions and have been very professional. I find their maintenance cost to be a little high, but other than that I don’t have any problems with them.

    It's every three months that I get a service from Terminix. I get notifications via email, phone call, and a text before they arrive. If I ever have any issues in-between services or if I see something that needs to be addressed, then I go online and schedule a service and they come out and take care of it. In the many years I've had them, I've called them one extra time per year for in-between services. I've got a very nice guy from Terminix who services our home. He knocks on the door and lets me know he's here, does his thing, and whenever he leaves, he locks the door and provides me with the paperwork. All the interactions with their technicians have been fine, very cordial, and very professional. I'm pleased with their service technicians and their service.

    I have quarterly service from Terminix and it's a very positive experience. Whenever I’d ask the technician any questions, he’s been very responsive and helpful. He listens, provides good advice, and does a very thorough job. More importantly, he has the courtesy to call in advance to let me know that he will be at the house within an hour or two. In today’s world, good customer service is hard to find. I have an external situation with spiders and ants and there’s been a significant change over the last couple of years. I'm extremely satisfied.

    On Nov. 28, 2015 client request for a ONE time service for roaches from Terminix. The service was performed and paid $146.40 with a credit card. I was told after one weeks if the roaches reappears they will return and spray again as part of the service that I paid. The company came back to spray upon client's request around December 12, 2015. On March 2016, I received a surprise bill of $124.00 for a quarterly service which is NEVER authorized. March 17, it took me one hour on the phone in which time I was passed from one personnel to another. Finally, the company's representative (Cameron) request his manager to intervene. The Manager instructed the billing department to cancel the bill. Cameron was kind and empathetic enough to apologize for the situation and stated there was a misunderstanding on their part. Ashely from the billing department stated everything is cancelled.

    On April 6 and 7 of 2016, I received two calls from Terminix requesting to call them back. Again, I spent one hour on the phone explaining that I requested for a ONE time service and never at time requested for a quarterly service. Later Kiera who I spoke with stated the account is cancelled and she does not know why Terminix is calling me for. I was now transferred to another supervisor (Clinton). He stated that he left a message for the branch manager to look into the matter and to initiate further investigation. He mentioned that there is "no" guarantee that the charges will be taken off and that there is "nothing" he can do. The account was closed but the charges remains. Again another fifty five minutes of unproductive conversation. I was told to wait for 48 hours for these people to call me back.

    I can see clearly that this transaction is not conducted with integrity. Their personnel made a mistake and now they insisting that they do not have a one time service. Is this a false advertisement? Client made it very clear that she need a ONE time service for roaches. Based on such deception I refuse to pay for a service I did not request. This is how Terminix fulfill their philosophy to exceed expectation and ensuring customer satisfaction! It would be highly appreciated if ConsumerAffairs could intervene on my behalf in having Terminix remove from my record and any outstanding amount. I am requesting for a formal letter from Terminix company stating their apology their admission for their mistake. Also, to STOP calling me! Thank You for your kind assistance in this matter.

    Updated on 4/14/2016: Terminix, your claim that this issue has been resolved outside Consumer Affairs is FALSE. I wrote a letter to Consumer Affairs on April 9 and to BBB on April 8. I got a called back from your company yesterday April 12. I am still waiting for a response from BBB. I spoke with you guys last on April 7. Today I got another Terminix statement of account.

    I am truly appalled with this experience with Terminix. Barbara from Terminix stated that all outstanding balance was taken off ONLY today April 13 and that everything cancelled. This issue is "not" completely resolved UNTIL I get a formal letter from company as I have previously requested acknowledging their mistake and an apology. Furthermore, the letter should include all information proving all outstanding balance and the unauthorized" quarterly service are all null and void. Barbara stated she will supply me with that information via mail. I am hoping we can come to a complete resolution soon.

As for scheduling the service, they got us in right away. It wasn't a long wait and they were professional about making the appointment.     I've been having some problems with Terminix lately. They changed representative on me since the representative I had apparently got a promotion. The former representative I had was great and I never had any problem with him. But the new representative, Jason, came the day I had scheduled but since I was in the back of the house, I didn't hear him when he knocked or rang the doorbell. He sprayed outside and all I saw was a different man whom I didn't know coming back to the front door to put something. By the time I got back out there to see what it was, he was gone. I only saw the bill.

    I called to say that I wanted the service done inside. Terminix set up two different appointments that I didn't even know about. Then Jason came but I was not home because I had a lot of things going on and I didn't even know he was supposed to come those days. I called the usual representative assigned to me, that's when he told me he was promoted and gave me Jason's number. However Jason doesn't have his cell set up to take messages. He said he would call me when there's an opening but I did not hear from him for a couple of weeks. I called him last week and found out that he's been sick, going through a divorce so he hadn't been at work. That was understandable but I thought Terminix could call/leave me a message to tell me that he's not coming.

    I set up an appointment for last Thursday but no one showed. I called Jason on Friday because I can't get the Terminix office here in Paducah since it's a distribution. I called back the office on Friday and cancelled the appointment. Terminix had me set up for tomorrow instead but I'm going out of town this afternoon, I will not be home, so I canceled that. I hope the guy from the office did cancel it. I even called Jason to tell him that I'll call to set up an appointment after I get back. However he has to come in the house when he does because I've been seeing some ants.

    Bottom line is that Jason hasn't sprayed inside the house yet - a service I've already paid for. I've been having a difficult time getting him back out here when it's scheduled. The scheduling people are also putting down the appointment without letting me know. So I have not been very happy with Terminix right now. I'm hoping that when I get back in town, we'll get this resolved. If not, I'm calling the man that always did my service before because he's the only one I can get from Paducah office - they don't have a receptionist.

    We have used Terminix for years, even when we were in Arkansas and we transferred to them up here. I was always home when the original representative I had came because we had it set up. Also if I had a problem, he would come back and spray again. I had wasps last year and never any problem with Terminix. I'm just having a bad experience right now getting this taken care of but I still definitely would recommend them.

    Records from company show I have been a customer of Terminix since 2001. Have requested a reapplication of chemicals since one applied has expired. Their response is will not retreat unless see signs of termite damage to house. That logic makes no sense for many reason. When signed contract with Terminix there were no signs of termites and yet they applied chemicals. So now when application is no longer effective according to expiration of manufacturer's guide. They no longer are proactive only reactive.

    If that is their policy then there is no reason for chemicals to have been used at all. I have been asking for a reapplication, I have paid a yearly fee for Terminix contract, to have my house protected. If chemicals were applied as protection than when those chemicals are no longer considered active a pretreatment is called for. Example have your dog vaccinated - no longer active pretreatment is required by law.

    I had been a happy customer but because they did not act as usual I am no longer with them and that was unnecessary! I am a senior who, like many others, have been so overwhelmed by mail that I often put it aside meaning to get to it later and sometimes just forget. Now, since starting back to work full-time at the age of 71, I am I even more exhausted and forgetful but my phone does have voice mail. I was late with a payment but instead of phoning me with that information as they had ALWAYS done before, and to which I have ALWAYS responded with a payment, they just terminated me as a customer.

    I realize that it was my fault but I really am sorry that the company no longer even seems to even care enough to retain what are essentially good customers. I have been forced to stay with my automatic monthly termite protection payments so far because of the guarantee but will also end those soon because of their uncaring attitude. What a useless loss!

    Updated 4/13/2016 - After I posted my complaint I got one vague email from Terminix saying they were sorry I had a bad experience. However, when I replied that I had an additional complaint that no one showed up for my Termite Inspection appointment the next day and that was far from the first time that had happened, I never heard back from them. Terminix has some automated caller that schedules and reminds us of appointments but what good is that if no one shows. I am forced to conclude that, since the email from Terminix offered no solution, it was nothing but lip service. Obviously they do not actually care about their customers. I suggest that you avoid this company and find another one, if it exists, that actually does care about its customers.

    August 15, 2015, Terminix started service at our home which included a detailed inspection & an initial payment of close to $200.00. Terminix returned for service September 5, 2015, Saturday & dusted the inside of the home for bugs, treated the outside, and returned for one more visit in October to set traps in the basement for rodents. The home was also to have had all cracks & crevices sealed which was never done, and the traps are still sitting in my basement. The next appointment was scheduled for November 7 at 0800 and no-one showed. I had made several phone calls to reschedule, but my phone calls were never returned.

    In December, I started receiving numerous automated phone calls from Terminix to return the calls, however, each time I called back starting December 28, January 4, February 3, February 23, March 16, March 28, 2016, I was told someone would call me back within 24 hours. Every phone call that I returned, I waited on hold for almost an hour to talk to a service representative, then I stated that I was cancelling my service due to extremely poor customer service. I was again & again told someone would call me back in 24 hours which was an automated phone call. I will not pay one more cent to this company for the miserable service that we received.

    We have Terminix quarterly and we're very pleased with the technician they had sent. We've only had two technicians over the 11 years. One is retired now and the other one that we have currently would explain things, answer questions and tell us how and what he's going to do. I like that part of being informed.     I love Terminix and their tech, who's been the same guy who's come out here since 2007. He is awesome, and if he ever leaves, I will leave. That's how good he is. Even when he couldn't drive down here because my road conditions weren't favorable, he walked to my house when he could have easily cancelled. I've recommended Terminix to my neighbor and now, they also have the same tech. I've also recommended him to my sister-in-law because they're buying a house.     The service people from Terminix are excellent. I always have the same serviceman, which I like because we've gotten to know each other over the years. He's a great person and a good asset to the company. It's nice having to deal with the same person and not wonder what stranger is coming into your house. He comes out to spray, and it's effective, so I don’t have any pests.I was dealing with spiders and centipedes. I can't stand bugs, and if I see anything, I call Terminix, and they send somebody right out in between my normal visits that I have a contract for.     I'm able to get the times and dates that work well for me in terms of scheduling. However, the problem is they want to come every two months rather than every three. If I reschedule, then they want to come back in two months. Last year I had a big problem with termites. I had to stay here four days waiting for Terminix to come and nobody showed up. I also don’t appreciate being billed before they come out and check my house. They’ve already billed me for the termite and hadn’t been down to do it. Sooner or later I’m going to have to drop Terminix because they continue to go up on their prices. Other companies are cheaper.

    Terminix is something that I have to have. I live in Florida and need to spray for bugs. My service with Terminix is automatically scheduled and they let me know when they're coming out. They usually schedule me for early in the morning. Recently, my technician Jessie came out and did the pest spraying. He's a really good guy who's always thoughtful. He knows that I work midnight and that he could come later in the day and I'll be here. He won't disturb me sleeping. I also have three dogs and he knows to come knock on the door and let me know before he goes into the yard because they are police K-9s and that won't work out too well for him if he doesn't tell me. It's been fine since the service, although sometimes there's a problem if it rains too much. I call and schedule an additional appointment. But that doesn't happen too often.

    I had Terminix in the past but the recession hit and I had to stop as it was a luxury I could no longer have. The bugs started invading my property and house again, so I called them back out. Michael, the guy who comes out here, is absolutely wonderful. He was scheduled every other month and he said that the property was looking good and in his opinion, I didn't need the service that often so, I switched back to quarterly and he has been extremely accommodating. We communicate by text because I'm not home a lot.

    I got my daughter hooked up with him as she had bought some used furniture that was infested with bugs and roaches. He was out three different times to treat her furniture and once again, with his great attitude, project was completed. He represents the company very well and makes my experience the best. I receive services from them every quarter, and they call me and let me know when the technician is coming. If the time is not agreeable with me, I'll call them back and tell them that they can come at such date or time and it's always worked out.     We had a miscommunication with scheduling a time frame for Terminix to come and spray our home. I called in and rescheduled for a Saturday. It was my understanding and that's what I put on my calendar but that was incorrect because we waited all day for someone to show up but they didn't. When I called in, they said it's for the following Saturday. My window is from 9:00 till 11:00. However, they didn't come between that window in the last three times that they've been to my home. They've gotten there after the fact, around 12:30. I did not have this experience with the former company wherein they were always there on time and call before they come.

    The technicians are always late and I hear them stating where the company schedules them and that they don't have enough travel time from one part of the city to the other to make it on time.     We have a Terminix technician who comes to our home regularly. They usually call first before coming over and if we have to change the appointment, they do it. They were just here two weeks ago to spray the outside of the house. So far, everything’s fine and we don’t have any bugs.     When we first moved in, we had problems with roaches running around.     When we signed up with Terminix we felt excited to have what sounded like very professional set of people. The initial setup up went well. But now that the follow up is due we have called 5 separate occasions for them to come back for an extraction that was suppose to happen seven days after the initial traps were set. Now it is a month and a half later still no one will call us back and each time we call we are promised a service call that never happens.

    We still hear rodents in the attic for which we have been charged almost a thousand dollars for them to correct the problem which I'm pretty sure now won't be happening. As far as this company I would not recommend them to anyone ever. Use them at your own risk. This business just lies and gives you the runaround and never follows up...     Terminix was recommended to me by my son. He told me to call them, so I had them out the first time. It was quite spendy because they had to go under the house. The house is old and I've lived here all these years. There was no insulation underneath. They did the whole nine yards. It was awesome. Sometime last month, I called Terminix because I had an ant problem in the bathroom. I talked to somebody in the office who said he couldn't find my number even though I gave him the number that was on my papers. He looked again and said he had a schedule for me. I told him, "Whoever you have come, have him come after at least 2:00. I get off work at 1:00 and I get home probably around 1:30."

    However, he didn't understand where I was coming from. The techs came around 8:00 or 10:00 one morning and I wasn't home. They left me a little note and told me they had been here. The next day, I came home and the same thing happened. I haven't heard from them since. So I got something, put it in the bathroom and somehow cleared up the ant problem. But other than that, I've had a good experience with Terminix.

    They usually call and tell me when they'll be out, and it works okay. I have the same guy come and he knows what my hours are. He's a nice big guy and it's enjoyable when he comes out. He explains everything and always asks questions. I talk to him about stuff, the problems I have and he gets right on it. He's very good and I haven't had any bad experiences.

    The last time someone came Terminix, they worked the perimeter of the house and any problems that we had. I talk to their technicians each time to find out what they’re putting down and tell them if we have any ant mountain problems or anything that we’re beginning to see in the house. They take care of me according to the information that I give them.

    I like it when I have had the same technicians because they were familiar with everything and understood what needed to be done and it made it very simple. However, there was a time when our regular technician couldn't come. The technician who came in place had been in the company for a long time and we were talking about spraying for mosquitoes. He suggested that we spray everywhere, even close to the house. Our regular technician usually didn’t want to spray close to the house because he felt that this attracted the mosquitoes. So I don’t know who is correct, and we have not signed up for the treatment yet because we’re not sure whether we’re going to go with it again or not. It's been the only discrepancy, but I would’ve thought that they would have all received the same training and be on the same page with it.

    We've had service from Terminix for decades. We have two different things going on with them. One is the baiting program and the other is the insect program in the house. The most recent service was well done. Their tech was very pleasant and knowledgeable. My experience with Terminix so far has been very variable. Sometimes it's excellent and sometimes it falls through the crack. We preferred it when it was more local. Now we get calls from a remote location that doesn't know anything about what's happening here. Also, one of the problems we always have is setting when the service is going to happen because there's a tendency to set it up remotely. It's best left to the one who's responsible for doing the job.

    It's been less than a year since we started using Terminix. There were some specifics that I needed done and they brought the supervisor out to make sure it got done the right away.     As a retired guy, I don’t need to be concerned about bugs, rodents, or any problems. I checked on the internet and out of the six things that I needed, Terminix could handle everything through the same contract. For the last two years, I haven't had any trouble inside or outside the house. It's just the last year, the wasps were a little bit more aggressive because of the warmer weather and were looking for territories. So Terminix has been treating for them.

    James is my service maintenance man and he lives about a mile and half from the area. Even though we've made the arrangements through the computer, he calls after getting the service order to make sure if it's good for me or if there's anything else. He's always thinking ahead for me. He and I have been working out the schedule, which makes it perfect because he knows I prefer the mornings and the earlier in the week. Then he gets out here and on time. I've never had a problem with James and he's one of the best service operators I've had.

    My ranch is way up high and toward the mountains so I get all kinds of little creatures and there's only an access road to get to it. It takes two miles to get here and when James comes back, we sometimes talk about what could possibly happen. It's like I'm in the wilderness because of the area and James handles 99% of everything that I have and takes care of them without a problem at all. I have recommended Terminix.

    I like the Terminix technician, Tim. He is outstanding, very personable and I appreciate him. He will call me a day or two in advance to let me know when he's coming, and will call again on the day to make sure I'm here. So our schedule always works out well. He came in recently and, as always, he went through everything, dropped the chemicals and put the traps where he needed to, and gave me advice on what I need to do to make it easier on myself. He was also training someone at the time who was as friendly and courteous as he was. It was perfect.

    In one of the more recent times I've talked to him, he told me about a plan that fixes my gutters and makes sure that stuff's not growing out of them like dropping in them by putting some foam in place. He also told me how he could seal up all of my exterior so that no animals can get in like mice and it was going to be long term. He went into the full explanation of it and told me I could save money getting it. He told me the warranties and everything that I would get along with it. So it's something I want and would do definitely. In the past, he's also sold me an insulation, after which I did see a decrease in my electricity and heating bill. So it was good all the way around and he's done an exceptional job.

    I still have some mice that come in and some ants, but it's not due to Terminix not doing the right thing. It's what's going on in my neighborhood. Terminix has been good overall. They're exceptional, knowledgeable and pleasant. The traps have worked and I don't see as many ants. I know that's kind of cyclical with the ants, so I'm satisfied and would recommend them.

    Terminix is scheduled four times a year for routine service and if I need them additionally, whether it's inside or outside, they would come. Their technician was very good and the woman before him was excellent. These people are very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They have been great.

    However, when they didn't send me a notice this week and just showed up on a rainy day, I didn't even have any control of rushing to call them to reschedule it. When they usually send me an email and I know it's gonna rain, I call them to reschedule. It's just common sense that if it's pouring and raining all day, they're supposed to cancel it. But they didn't send me an email and the guy came. I found the bill in a bag on my door. So I called them to reschedule it. This is the first time that they didn't send me either a call or an email notice so when I called to reschedule, they said they won't charge us for coming again (they're good about that). If they have to come for another time in between the quarterly spray, they won't charge. But if the weather is raining or snowing, why would they send somebody? With what happened, it feels like they'll come regardless of the weather just because it's on their calendar and they have a job to do.

    So that's a chief complaint. But other than that, they seem confident people. They've also made their local number available for calls between 12:00 and 2:00 which wasn't available before as they were at lunch. They corrected that and we can now call them. And other than the stinkbugs that nobody can control, everything's been fine. In the years we haven't had them, if we stopped for a couple of years, we've had problems, so Terminix must be doing something.

    I have Terminix for about 35 years, not just at this address but other addresses too. They had the reputation at the time and I've had good experience with them. If I have any problems at all, I call them and within a day or two, they're back to take care of whatever pest problem I have. Before they show up, there always is an email and a phone call to confirm a window that they're going to show up. Normally, they make that window without any problems. The technician would just show up, do his job, hand me the receipt, and off he goes.

    The technicians were very good but I would tell them not to have their supervisors come out. We had an installation blown in the attic. Terminix had a brand new machine and we had all of the supervisors working this machine. I was a supervisor before I retired and when they said, "We're all supervisors," I said, "Oh, crap. Can you please call somebody that knows what they're doing?" They couldn't get it to work so they had to call a technician. And then one of the supervisors actually fell through the ceiling and broke it. They came within a week and had it fixed. They took care of everything. They back up their work and are very customer-oriented. They got it all done and I've been very satisfied. The installation was specifically designed to prevent mice and other pests, and it's done its job for the last five years.

    I also had to call them a couple of times and quite honestly, I don't like call centers and that's what Terminix has gone to. I would prefer to deal with the local people but the call centers have always passed the messages along. Within a day or so, I get a call back from the local technician or contractor and they make contact with me, so it's been pretty good.

    I'm very satisfied with Terminix. We had a different company come out here and two days after they sprayed, I still have the ant problem. I had to go to Home Depot and buy my Home Defender and spray them periodically because they kept migrating over here. But Terminix got the little granules or tubes that they put out, which does the job from keeping the ants coming from the outside of the house.

    The guy gave me a lot of tips because I have a lot of landscaping against the house and he's telling me the ins and outs to what I'm doing now and what I can do to improve it to help not get the critters set a nice hiding space. He explained the chemicals that he's using because I have cats and I'm worried about them eating it, but he said they wouldn't and if I could keep the animals in the house for a couple of hours since I have one that goes out, then the chemicals will dissipate and the cat will be fine to walk around the areas. We also talked about something I don’t have coverage for. I've been having a lot of rat and baby possums migrate inside the house last year. He told me about setting the trap and I caught them. The technician was excellent and very informative.

    As soon as the weather clears up, I'll get Terminix to do the house inspection where they go up on the roof and see if there are any varmints up there. I don't hear and suspect there is any but the inspection would be to my advantage. We've been pest-free as far as I've noticed. I got everything covered in tarps since snow fell. I've been starting to uncover things and I'm not seeing nests. Everything seems to be good.

I also get either a voice message left on my cell phone or an email telling me that Scott is coming. Since I have a German Shepherd I have to make sure somebody’s there at the house for it. The billing for quarterly pest control is great but for the termite pest control, I can't stand. I would like to see them do an auto enrollment or at least have the ability to get an email online with a link where I could just send the payment back on them instead of having to wait for the snail mail. I have the service performed routinely, but most of the time, I wanted to have the service in the afternoon. And even though they change it from morning appointment, I wish they’d just make them in the afternoon, so I don’t have to keep calling them back to reschedule.     Terminix didn't give me any notification, and the tech just showed up at my door. He was a little surprised that I didn’t know. He said, “I could tell when you opened the door you weren’t expecting me,” and I said, “No,” and he said "well, sometimes they’re letting people know by email." Well, I didn’t get an email either, so it’s one of those things where I’m glad I was home. It seems to be a little loosely done as far as whoever is supposed to coordinate between the customer and the person doing the job, which is unfair to both parties. I didn't like that I don't have any idea of exactly when they’re coming. Anyway, the tech who came out was very pleasant and knew what he was doing.     We had a problem with ants and Terminix would come every three months to take care of it. They do the inside around the windows, then the outside. Now we don't have a problem with ants. Everybody we had has been friendly and courteous. They schedule appointments and we're here to make sure that they'd get access to what they need. It's also easy to change schedule. However, I do wish we'd get a schedule of the people so that I know the people, and the people know us, what we need and what we want. We had a guy for four years, and then he left the company. Now we use whoever. But we've had good service. Problem is under control and I want to keep it that way. I've been real happy with them, and I recommend them all the time.

    We've had a good experience with Terminix. Usually we have them spray the outside and in our garage because we haven't had an indoor bug problem. They'll call and I'll say I can be there or not and a lot of the times we're not there, but my husband has talked to them and they told him that they're spraying. They've been very cooperative about it.

    I don't know if we're on some type of a dial system with them, but every now and then, they'll call in and call back again and there's nobody there. We know it's not time for them to come in, so I don't know if our phone number is on a roto-dial that messes up when they call in, but I've even asked them about it when they've come and they told us. It's very strange. It might be set up with something that's just calling into us when it's not supposed to. When they do call when it's for us and it's time for them to come, they will come on the line and say "This is Terminix calling" and leave a message, but the rest of the time it will say "Terminix" and there's nothing. We had this happen to us once before and they found out it was a problem with the machine that dials it.

    I always have good experience with Terminix. They come out every three months to spray for bugs, spiders, and ants. Then once a year, we have them come out to do a thorough inspection for termites and other kinds of wood pests. Before we had Terminix, it was like a constant stream of insects everywhere. Since we've had the service, there are no mosquitoes in the house. We get spider occasionally and if we don't kill it, it's dead within a day or two. It's nice and unbelievable.

    The techs set humane traps. They're safe when you have pets because there is no way that pets like dogs and cats can get in to it. Even if we haven't seen a mouse, they'll put the traps since there's always that time of year that they'd come in. Terminix checks them and tells me if there is still any or not. All technicians have been exceptional, friendly, very respectful and professional. They even put on little booties before they get inside the house to make sure they don't mess up the carpet. It's refreshing to find someone who really cares about how the house is going to look after they've left. I've only had one poor interaction with the technicians.

    I get my service from Terminix done routinely. With the latest visit, the technician talked with me and gave me feedback about his visit. Sometimes when he's here, he changes the chemicals or uses a little extra if I report a different problem. He's very pleasant and honest. He told me that he doesn't like to spray inside, but I had him spray inside a few times because the ants come through. So instead of that, he has given me some ant traps to put inside the house. He also gave me sticky papers, which have been very helpful and I appreciated that, because we had quite an infestation of mice back in February.

    Right now, we have three boxes to bait the mice and rats, and he looks after that completely. Now there is a little mix-up with the scheduling, which is not a problem because the tech can come here at any time, but Terminix calls me the second week of the month and he's due today according to the call, but I don't think he'll come because he told me I'm on schedule for the third week. And then of course, if it's rained, he won't put down the treatment so he'll come soon after that. But those are not problems.

    The gentleman from Terminix did what seemed to be a very thorough job. I told him about the ghost ants and he informed us that there was no point in spraying inside if we hadn't seen them there for a while. The ants were outside and he proceeded to spray around the house with long hoses to keep them from coming back in. However, they have to use a larger print size in their bills when their service includes multiple coverages. If I had three different coverages, I don’t know which ones they're sending me the bill for.     The latest service we had from Terminix was sort of getting the ants out one more time. We had a very hot day a couple weeks ago, and apparently, the ants celebrated by going in the kitchen. Terminix did a great job as usual. They came in when they said they would and got it done quickly. However, it's very difficult to tell how the ants are getting in and they did what they could. The fact is if they can't figure it out, I don't think anybody could. And if it comes back, they're very prompt in coming over and taking care of it. Unless we remove a few things like flooring and the second story, I don't think we're ever going to find it. We've only seen one or two since then so I think we've solved the problem for the moment. Now, that the weather is getting warm again, we may have the same problem and I may have to call them again.

    I have been Terminix customer since September 2014. I signed up for a year. The first time the technician came, he did a nice job and said he will be back in three months. He gave me his cell phone and told me to call to schedule an appt. I called for two weeks, he never called me back. So I called the main number. They scheduled an appt and another technician showed up. A week later the old technician showed up without even notifying me. The next appt Terminix automated system called and told me when my appt is. I was not available that day. So, I had to call them and reschedule.

    Then I called in November 2015 to schedule for December 4. On December 4 nobody showed up. When I called them they said it is not on December 4, but on December 10. They rescheduled it without my knowledge. I was traveling on that day and had other travel plans until end of January. So, I wanted to reschedule the last week of January. They told me that that is not possible because I have certain service days when they HAVE to come out. And if I cannot do it in December they can postpone for three months. So, I scheduled my appointment for March 10 from 3-5 pm. Then I called February 3, 2016 to confirm that date and I was even given the name of the technician.

    Today I prepared the house for their work, emptied everything from under the sink three bathrooms and the kitchen. By the way, I have really bad back and it is a hard task for me. Around 11 am I called just to confirm that someone is coming. I was told that my appt was rescheduled for March 22. Nobody notified me or asked me if it will work for me. I said that that is not acceptable. The representative said that she will check something. I waited 10 minutes and then she hang up on me. I called again. Asked the next representative to call me back if we get disconnected. She promised to call. She listen to all my complaints and said that she will contact the local office. Then she either hang up on me or we got disconnected and she never called me back, even she promised.

    Then I called again and asked to talk to a manager. After 10 minutes I was connected to a representative who said he can connect me to a manager, but he has to know what the problem is. After I explained everything he called the local office manager and left him a message and said he will call me back shortly. It has been over an hour, nobody has called me. There is only 2 hours left to my scheduled appointment. Nobody contacted me and I guess nobody is coming today. I would say DO NOT SIGN UP WITH TERMINIX. This is the WORST Customer Service I have ever had with any company. I am done with them. I am so glad I didn't sign up for another year. I will be looking for another pest control company with better customer service.

    We've got the full exclusion and regular quarterly service from Terminix. David, who's been taking care of us for the quarterly maintenance, is very good and thorough. Terminix switched people around for roach and ants because of the growing business that they're doing in Colorado. Our exclusion is great too and we're very happy with it. Overall, it's been good. The only drawback is I get an email now about one or two days before they're going to be there, and that doesn't always work, so I may need to be more forward and call to schedule quarterly appointments since we're not always in town.     We had Terminix come out for termite problem and pest control and they came out and the crew that came out Eddie and Cory were very good and we have no problem with their work at all. The problem that we have right now is their pest control person Daniel, he did not show up when we were told and then he stated that he could not spray when it was wet outside and he said that he would come back next week when it was dry. We had no problem with that then when a few weeks went by and still nobody show up my wife call and ask when they were going to come and finish and she was told that the job was finish and my wife told her Daniel never came back to finish what he started. When he did come back he told my wife that I was suppose to call, and he never told me that. He stated that he would return and finish and he told my wife that he didn't say that.

    First off I have no need to lie about that and do not care about somebody saying that so we were not please with him at all and we did not like his attitude. When we call and had Terminix come out for downspout control they sent two guys and Daniel was one of them again and when we told them what we were told what had to be done we said ok and went back inside and let them do their work. When they said that the job was finish we check and ask about some things like the spout going inside of the drain and was told that is the way they are suppose to be. We told him that the water will still come out and he stated that he knew his job and how to do it. When we ask about the tubing running up the hill instead of down and about it being deeper he stated again that he knew what he was doing and we ask about the dirt that was still in the yard and they stated that when it rains it will settle.

    When we started checking and found out that they use my some of my tubing instead of what they bought for this job I was not very happy with that. When we ask about it Daniel stated they didn't use my tubing. I know the different between what I had and what they brought, and as I stated before I had no need to lie about this. My wife and I don't have a problem with Terminix but do think that some of their workers needs to be check on a little more and make sure they do not stay on their phones when they are suppose to be working and don't act like the customer is dumb and don't know what they are looking at, when they have been in charge of a lot of personal in service and know what a job is suppose to look like when it is finish. We were not born yesterday and we did finish high school and college also.

    We're on two different contracts with Terminix, one for termite inspections and one for general pest control, and the technician comes every other month. Scheduling or rescheduling service has all been good. We had good service and we're satisfied with them for years. The technician sent is very engaged and has been helpful with the pest problem we had that we were able to get it corrected and so it's all good.

    Every time the routine service is due, Terminix calls or leaves a voicemail message on my cellphone, which I'm not real keen about, but I ignore until the technician calls me as he always does the night before. I don't like Terminix scheduling my appointments. Also, I occasionally get a call from them saying they'd like to schedule a free home inspection. I receive that twice a year. They don't know that I'm already a valued customer and that irks me, so nicely I say, "Why would I want a free home inspection? You service me already." On the other hand, the technician is wonderful. It's because of him I am still with them, and I have recommended them.

    I love Terminix, because I love the tech who comes to do the extermination. When we had a problem with outside mice, he baited my traps and told me the ones that have been active and the ones that were not. He's very detailed, telling me what he's going to do, and what he's done. If it's raining, he calls and reschedules, and it's very easy. I would recommend them and the tech who works on my yard.

    Since service with Terminix we don't see any problems with regards to pests except for one time I had problems with ants. They keep coming back and tried their best to resolve the issue.     The Terminix guy, Kevin, recently came to do the mosquito treatment. It absolutely helps in and around my home. I have him come over monthly and talk to him every time. We talk about what he's going to do. I have the same guy come to do all these things at the house for a couple of years now, so we're pretty familiar with each other. He's very professional and knowledgeable. My in-laws have Terminix too and he does theirs so he's really good.

    I was having problems with mice getting in and I had Terminix over, and the gentleman crawled underneath the house and told me he hasn’t seen any place they were getting in down there. He left traps, but they didn’t go in the traps. I still had mice in the house and I had to set traps out to get them. I figured I'm not going to pay for service when I still have to catch mice. It is not worth the money. I was very disenchanted with Terminix and I called them and asked for a refund. They told me a manager would call me but never did, and I heard nothing until now from anybody.

    Terminix technicians were very friendly and respectful. I can't complain at all. A gentleman came out and sprayed around the outside of our house and knocked the cobwebs down. I pointed out an ant problem. He investigated it and put some remedies and explained to me what he did. Scheduling has been pretty good. They've only come twice so far. They usually give me a couple of days notice so I can arrange them to be there. The ants I complained about came back but it might be because there's dog food on the floor. I don't know if that's their fault or ours but it's been better since Terminix started their service with us. I would recommend them.

    I rarely find a pest in the house since I had service with Terminix. The technician is a very friendly and helpful agent. But, I've had problems in the past where I don’t get notification until the week before regarding the schedule, and when I try to reschedule it online it doesn't work, so I had to call. But if there's enough time, like two weeks or more, I can get it done that way. I had to reschedule the service for next month, so while the tech was here we looked at when he was going to be available, and rescheduled the service for that time.
