I'm extremely happy with Jay who comes in and does the spraying. He's a nice man and he does a good job. However, I'm very unhappy with Terminix because I've had a lot of problems with the other one who came. I would not recommend Terminix because of that guy. When they tented the house, they damaged the landscaping. The guy said, "Don't worry about it. We'll take care of it." He stood in front of my lawn when he said it and he saw the damage done. But when it came down to it, he didn't even reply to anything. I sent him an email how much it would be, he never responded and totally ignored me. I got an estimate and other guys took care of it.

Technicians have all been very nice, thorough, but generally they are late in arriving. I think they are over-scheduled.

They try to get you into a contract. Beware. More expensive than 6 other companies that I called after the guy made an appointment and showed up, and walked around the house asking the same thing the person on the phone did. Then he informed me there is a 1 year contract and if you say you don't want a contract he can't help you anymore. This company should be at the bottom of the list not the top. Only 1 other company wanted a contract and this is out of 10 total I called.

After being a customer for over 15 years, termite account was cancelled by Terminix after I had a hard time getting them to come out and perform yearly termite inspection. Finally, the inspection was completed. Called to pay and after 45 mins on the phone with them, no one knew how to reinstate the account. Said they would call back within 24 hours. No call back. Called back 30 days later, same thing. Almost an hour on the phone and they still can't take my payment without speaking to someone else and they are not available. Said I will get a call within 24 hours. Customer Service can only handle basic calls. All other calls are referred to the local office and no call back is received. I ask for the local office number and I was told they can't give it out. I miss the easy to deal with company I started with 15 years ago.

We always get prompt and professional service from Terminix. We had reports of roaches being seen in certain parts of our facility and service tech came out right away and we haven't heard that the roaches have been seen since.

I've been using Terminix for several years and have the best service technician ever. He's very polite, and very thorough, and very informative. Couldn't ask for better. I've had very few dealings with customer service via telephone, but the times I have called, everyone was very helpful.

Terminix employees are all very courteous, polite, and knowledgeable. They take their shoes off when they come into the house. Any questions are answered thoroughly and intelligently. Any problems are immediately addressed. If they can't be completed in one visit they come back promptly. We use their bug spray, termite coverage, pillars under the house (it was sinking), and containment - they replaced all the screens leading under our house. Very pleased with Terminix.

My tech always arrives on time. He gets all of the areas I ask him to get without hesitation. He is very thorough. He always sets up new traps and makes sure they are away from my grand-children and my dog.

Terminix did a good job. Our pest activity has been under control and we haven't had any issues. The representative was polite, courteous, and friendly. We scheduled on the internet and they came exactly when we asked them to. But we did have to call them back in about a week and a half because we've had experience with some roaches. They came back and retreated, and we have not seen any problem since then. It wasn't their fault, and they did everything they could to take care of the problem.

I had the service scheduled for every three months. They just call and say that they're going to come out. They're there whenever they say that they're going to be there, and hasn't been a problem. The last two times that Terminix has come out to my house, they've been really friendly and nice. It was nice to have them over. They are not your typical people that would just come out to your house. I told them that there was a few little problem areas with some pests like wasps. They would check it out and the problem goes away. Since we've had Terminix, pest activity has been non-existent. I haven't had anything in the house at all.

We have Terminix as a preventative measure for our bug problem and the technicians are always nice. Scheduling their services was a pretty good experience and I don’t get to do a lot because it’s regular. It’s very easy to call and reschedule. When I call Terminix, I get right through to a scheduling agent and I have no problem with them at all.
The only weird thing I experienced with them is that I'm on a quarterly schedule but the actual rate was for every other month. I thought it was a quarterly charge of $66 when actually they were coming sooner than I was thinking in my head. I believed they were supposed to come four times a year and it feels like they’re coming every other month and they actually were. Their email even says quarterly when really it was every other month. Realistically, it comes out to about $33 a month when I factor in what they charge quarterly. So I had to call and get that all corrected with them. They got it resolved and the system updated it as far as the calendar scheduled services go.
Terminix also keeps sending me offers for termites and in the research I’ve done, there’s really no termites the Las Vegas area unless I live in a new house where fresh wood was brought from another state. Other than that, Terminix is very good overall. I know they’re a little costly, but I’ve seen other services that cost even more. I will definitely recommend Terminix to a friend for sure. It’s really no hassle. They’re doing their job and they’re fast and efficient. I haven’t seen a bug in my house since I got them eight years ago.

We’ve had service with Terminix for over 20 years and it's been great. There had been evidence of prior termite infestation years ago but there is no current infestation. The technician has been very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I don’t like the way that Terminix price and package the termite treatment program. There wasn’t any package for people who didn’t have termites. I was selling the house and the state of Texas required a treatment for termites. I had to pay the full package price that included any repeat treatment plus a year warranty and so I ended up paying a lot more than I needed to. But all in all, we’re very happy with Terminix.

I had used Terminix for years but had started this year to see service quality disappear and be utterly appalled at lack of customer service provided. I could not get a technician to my home, scheduled appointments were missed, no confirmations were sent to ensure I as homeowner would be home and available for internal focus areas and then for no reason my service was cancelled by Terminix with no explanation other than - "we see you called and cancelled" which I did not, but should have months ago to avoid what I see as a security issue now with my account. Total lack of information provided by customer service, lack of any desire to retain a customer and I am appalled by the lack of service attention.

Randall does a wonderful job. When he does just the outside, he doesn't bother us. But we usually bother him because he is so nice and he is also asking us how our daughter is doing in college. Very personable. The front yard lawn is in great shape. No complaints ever. Thank you Randall.

We had an excellent experience with Terminix overall. Recently, they came to our home for a preventative service. The reps were extremely professional and courteous. They gave us a phone call and an email to give us a heads up in scheduling our service, so it went very well and was very good communication. The technician very politely asked for the gate code to get in our backyard and I gave it to him, then he knocked on the door. He was extremely professional and very friendly. Since our service, the pest activity in our home is very satisfactory -- there are no pests.

I have used Terminix for 30 years in 3 states. We recently purchased two restaurants so Terminix is the only company I considered. I have not be disappointed. The technician is always on time, clean and friendly. Of course, the most important part of this satisfaction is that we do not have insect problems.

Bugs used to run all over the house and I got attacked by a giant spider. But ever since we've had Terminix, there have been no pests in the food or on counters. No ant trails or anything like that at all. The Terminix guys who come here often were fantastic, professional, and very knowledgeable. One of them answered the questions I've had about a certain type of pest that I've had here, which was nothing I've ever seen before, but he knew exactly what it was right away and was able to deal with it. So kudos to the education that Terminix gives to their techs. Also, they always keep me updated if they're not able to come or if there's a problem and I have to switch a day or two for them to come out here.

If you need tenting or termite control GO TO ANYONE BUT Terminix. Booked 2 weeks in advance. They canceled 2 days before the day. Rude, unprofessional. Had booked airline, cars, rooms, and lumber drop. They knew on the 10th. Never called. Now I'm stuck with hundreds of dollars of ticket fee, etc. They don't deserve even 1 star.

We've used Terminix for many years and they have always been appropriate. Sometimes in scheduling appointments, they get busy and so do we, so we had to reschedule but we always make it work. They have come and done excellent inspections. I will see them every year.

A Terminix representative visited our home and took care of our mice issue. Overall, we were satisfied with the experience and the service received.
I do hope that Terminix revisits the use of a national call center to book local appointments. It seems like there could be a more efficient way to book a service appointment.

Have had mice in our house. First time we called, it took more than 2 weeks to get an appointment booked. Once they came the service was fine. But less than a month later, mice were present again! We called again and, once again, are finding that it takes multiple calls to get service. Here are specifics -- We called Terminix on a Saturday when we spotted the issue. Their national call center said someone would call us back to schedule an appointment. Still didn't hear from them on Tuesday, so we called Terminix again and got their national call center. (I guess all calls go here.) Their call center told us an appointment was scheduled for Thursday between 11-1pm. So apparently, the appointment was scheduled without us even being notified! Unfortunately, that time didn't work for us.
Next step, the call center put us on hold to call the local Terminix office. We were on hold for 12 minutes and hung up because we thought they forgot about us. We called back and the call center told us that no other appointments were available this week and we had to await a call back to get another appointment scheduled. WTF! How freaking inefficient. And why aren't they actually fixing our mice problem!

If I see some special issues that need addressing, I interact with Terminix. Otherwise, their representatives notify me when they are going to come. Their technicians come on time and do the service. I'm very comfortable with them - they're professional, courteous and get the job done. Our current Terminix technician does an excellent job and I'm very pleased with their service.

I had a preventative maintenance on the contract with Terminix. They've always been very flexible with their scheduling. I never had a problem with scheduling yet or rescheduling it due to inclement weather. Plus, their rep is very professional and clean, put protective coverings on his shoes when he entered the house, explained everything to me when he wrote his report, what he found or any deficiency that needs correcting. I haven't seen in a number of years ever since we got rid of the Subterranean and wood bores which we did have that's why we keep an annual contract that they come and inspect, and we've never had a reoccurrence. It's been very good with Terminix. In fact, a number of my neighbors also use them.

Terminix is good overall. The only frustrating thing is if I ever try to reschedule online, it never seems to happen so I've given up on rescheduling online. Every time I've tried to reschedule the prescheduled appointment, they do it automatically and never come on the day I would like them to come. However, if I call them, it's taken care of. They are friendly over the phone and the service technician is absolutely fine. It's been the same gentleman for many years and he's a very, very nice guy. I have a contract with Terminix so I've never had an issue with pest activities.

We have a routine service with Terminix. We usually get a voicemail on our answering machine here at home and I get a text or an email at work. Their technician does a good job. He is prompt, efficient and courteous. We still get occasional spiders, but so much of that is because we live on a farm and we’re right up against the woods so we know it’s a challenge.

On August 26, 2015, Terminix put cellulose w/ boric acid into our attic. The hose they were using was put together w/ duct tape. The tape broke off and the insulation went all over the area. They sent out Servpro to clean up the MESS. They did a lousy job, insulation behind washer, dryer, refrigerator. Knocked a hole in kitchen ceiling, chandelier fell from ceiling in dining room, holes in duct work in attic. Servpro had a man helping clean named Joseph **. He came back to our home looking for work...he needed $ to get his electric turned on...I checked his background. He is a criminal w/ many charges. Terminix knocked a crack in our kitchen ceiling, made a chandelier fall from dining room ceiling, cracks in duct work. We have many health issues from the cellulose w/ boric acid. We need help. We have contacted them. They refuse to do anything. Told us to get an attorney. We need help. Our health is the main issue. Please help.

The technician from Terminix came when he was supposed to and was very pleasant. He did a thorough job. A couple of months ago, he came and sprayed inside the house including the rooms up the porch and he put down ant bait, and I haven't seen any ants going to the cat's food. But every once in a while I see a roach in the kitchen. The spray was supposed to kill all of them. However, I see a lot of dead roaches out on the porch so it was good.

Terminix recently completed their yearly termite inspection of my house. They do this each year, causing us little to no inconvenience. While in our crawl space inspecting, they also pointed out a couple things of concern they saw that were not related to termite control that I might not have known about until they actually became a real problem.

I use Terminix's services for bugs and insects. The technician comes in every quarter and I have no complaints about him. I have his cellphone number and if I have any issues, I can call him and he'd come out. He's the best guy Terminix has in the company.

Terminix has always been a reliable supplier! Their technicians are friendly, helpful, and most of all, very knowledgeable. I never have to sit around waiting for them to come. They arrive on time, every time. In regard to the quality of their service my home is bug free, which is the #1 plus!

I signed up for a 5-season contract one year ago and have been so dissatisfied that I cancelled my contract early. I typically have to wait a week to get a technician out to the house and that's a long time to ignore a pest problem. Most of the time we took care of the pest problem ourselves and Terminix showed up a week later. After 4 seasons, I began receiving bills for "service" and have had to call repeatedly to correct the billing. So far I've had to call 2 times and have no confidence that the billing has actually been corrected. I can't tell you how many times I've scheduled a service and the technician doesn't show up... this is so frustrating because I don't get paid if I'm not at work and I can't leave my sweet dog outside or the technician won't perform the service.
This past month, I had to request another service 4 times before I simply gave up - the first time the technician didn't spray completely around the house. The second time the technician couldn't enter the backyard because he said the gate was locked (there's no lock on the gate, but it does stick - this short woman can look over the gate and see that). The third time the technician decided to take the day off even though he had service calls scheduled for that day. The fourth time he shows up. This is typical of every service for me and I am weary of the whole process. Yes, I cancelled service early and still have no confidence that this nightmare is over.

When the technician shows up to treat our house he is nearly always on time, within the window that I agreed upon. He is always neat, polite, and friendly. Upon completion he always presents me with a detailed explanation of what he found and treated. In the last 3 years I only asked him to treat one area inside the house, which he did and the problem never resurfaced. Very pleased with your service.

Scheduling through Terminix's main office and the local branch could've been better. They said I needed to talk to the local branch but getting to the local branch was more difficult than I had hoped. But once I was able to get through the local branch, I didn't have any issues, and other than that, my experience with Terminix is perfect. The Terminix technician just came out to spray for bees. He's been coming here for years and he's a great employee. The bees are gone now.

We don't have any pest activity since we started service with Terminix. We've had numerous technicians for several years that we have the service and they've done us real well. The most recent visit was a month ago and they came right on time, did their thing all their way around the house and briefed me on the results before they left. We've had such super service with those people that we've kept up with them through the years. So, we don't plan on changing.

My house has a basement/garage that provides insects, lizards and other pest access to the interior and therefore requires more frequent treatments inside the house than most of your clients. William, our Terminix technician is always cooperative and cooperative in expanding the treatment to address this and other issues.

Yesterday, a guy from Terminix came out to add an insulation to the attic and possibly also put in a dehumidifier and in our basement. There was some fungus on some of the wood in the basement and he sprayed that. I'm very pleased with the young man who comes on a quarterly basis for the house and comes back for the mosquito control. Kevin is top-notch because we've had to call him twice and he's right on top of it. Occasionally, I might see an insect but we're very pleased with their service. In fact, one of my friends is now using Terminix because we recommended it.

The pest activity has been controlled but we’ve had one concern with some rats up in the attic. The technician was going to have somebody stop by to check on it, but nobody ever came out. Nevertheless, the technicians were very good. We really appreciate the service and it’s nice to have it done at the house.

The price and quality of tickets was why we purchased from TicketNetwork. Also, it's a known company so your'e not worried about fraudulent tickets. We got tickets for the Dodgers, and that was good. The tickets we got had good seats and a good price, and we enjoyed the game, so that was important to us. We printed our tickets online so we were not worried about having these come through the mail. We like TicketNetwork.

The technician was actually 5 or 10 minutes ahead of the scheduled block of time, which was fine. The occasion was a regularly scheduled termite inspection, so there was no specific problem. The technician certainly paid attention to cleanliness and, in the interior inspection at least (the only part I witnessed), was very thorough. The whole transaction was easy and professional.

We have a routine spray from Terminix and they did what I've paid them to do. They tell us when they're coming and most of the work is outside so I don't even have to be home. I occasionally interact with the technician and we're friendly with each other. We're happy with Terminix.

The first contact I had with your representative Stephan, who was at my home to address an issue I was having with a rodent issue, was very informative & helpful. The second contact I had with your representative Won, who came to my home to assess how the rodents were accessing the house, was also very informative & helpful. He also offered your protection package which I purchased. Both Stephan & Won were very mindful of my concerns & completely understood the information that I was telling them. The tech that used to come to my house all the time is now a supervisor and he was always great. I like him. I had called them because I was having a mice issue, and they know the appointment but they never showed up. Then it was time for my regular appointment and the technician came out and did his thing. I don’t have any mice now.

I feel sometimes Terminix is more expensive but they've worked with me several times on termite control. They've adjusted their rates for me a few times and that has helped a lot to keep me staying with Terminix. People from different businesses that have pest control approach me all the time to change over, but I haven't because Terminix was willing to talk about rates. We worked out something that we thought was fair for both of us.

I just moved to the house and the prior place I was living had an infestation of roaches. So I moved out and I was sure I brought eggs and roaches inside of my appliances. That's why I called Terminix to exterminate the house to eliminate the roaches for good. Their price was good and very reasonable. They are very flexible, could work out with my schedule and were always available the day and time that I could. Also, I'm very happy with the guy who comes to perform the service at the house. He's awesome and very helpful in explaining about how the procedure would work. We're pest-free right now and are very happy with the company service. I definitely would recommend Terminix and I did recommend them to a friend.

I had an issue with large, red ants that were coming into the master bathroom and the walls. Normally, I get a technician named Keith. He is experienced, very friendly and knowledgeable, and looks like he cares about his job and takes it seriously. However, the last technician who came in was not Keith and wasn't as friendly. He did good but the issue with the ants is still there.

I recently bought a house and wanted to make sure I established a good barrier outside and inside. I called Terminix and they scheduled the service. The tech called me and had to reschedule for the next day, but that was fine. The technicians were courteous, told me and showed me what they were going to do. They made sure the house was secure when they left. Terminix is very good. They did what they said.

The times that the service guy showed up I was never there because of work so I can't completely say what he took care then the bill would show up or a knock on the door. Wasn't quit sure if I should make payment over the phone or mail it in and when I did make it over the phone and gave my banking info I assume that it would be taking out of my account after every visit. Please don't get me wrong. I thought you guys did a great job, I had a problem and you kept your word and handled it. I would like to once again continue being your customer if possible and I really like my technician, he was kind and honest and made me feel very comfortable along with assuring me that my problem would be taken care of in the time he gave me and that was greatly appreciated.

TERMINIX is absolutely intolerable!! I scheduled an appointment to have my yard treated for mosquitoes. No one ever showed up. I made three attempts to call. Was put on hold for a very long period of time each time. There was no explanation as to why after waiting all day that no one showed. Spoke to customer service and it seems they don't really care whether they have your business or not. It is a national number that you have to call so no one has a clue as to what is going on. After speaking to a few friends, they also had the same experience with TERMINIX and cancelled their service for the same reasons.

Terminix are on schedule with everything. I haven’t had any issues with any bugs in my house. They spray accordingly and regularly. I got a quarterly plan, and they text and email me whenever they're headed this way. The tech has also been great. He's given me his cellphone number so in case I have any issues in between my regular maintenance I can let him know and he could schedule a service for me to take care of it.

In 2015, my elderly mother paid Terminix to inspect and treat termites at her home in Orem, Utah. Their Utah technician, Ray ** providing a certificate documenting that 17 stations had been completed and that my mom had paid $1,352 for the service, which had a money back guarantee. The contract and Terminix's public advertising indicates that customers have a "100% satisfaction or your money back" and that they "Never pay for future termite treatments." The "Termite Baiting Service Plan" stated it covered services through May 27, 2016.
After my mom passed away, her home was sold and as part of that process, HORRIFIC and EXTENSIVE termite infestation and damage was found. My sister and I both tried immediately and repeatedly to contact Terminix to get the service and support which had been paid for. We were ignored, calls were not returned by Steve, the manager at the Salt Lake City local level who inspected the damage, said Terminix would fix it, but then disappeared and quit responding to our calls and texts. When we became more assertive with online chats and calls to customer service, we were rebuffed. We made numerous attempts that we have documented and absolutely no effort was made by Terminix to redress these damages.
We spent many, many hours attempting to resolve this situation and the final sale of the property was in jeopardy when we finally called another company to treat the termites and repair major damage to four basement walls. We would like Terminix to honor their money back guarantee. I will tell everyone I can on every site and complaint venue available to never use Terminix. They are unethical and clearly took advantage of my elderly mother and our family. I've never experienced anything like this with any service provider before. It's appalling.

Long time ago, we decided to get some termite protection down on the house. We asked the gentleman who came out to give us the price if there are any additional charges, and he said no. Then we started to get a bill and he didn’t tell us that we had to pay the maintenance every month once the initial work was done. So I was not happy about it and cancelled the termite part.
Terminix comes three times a year, and I recently had the outer area of my property done. I had some questions about what they put on the lawn or if the chemicals will change because it was supposed to rain, and because my son got a brand new dog, I wanted to make sure there was nothing that would bother the dog. The technician was very polite, courteous, and was very happy to answer the questions. He said that if I wasn’t happy, to call back and ask for him and he would come back, which I appreciated. Terminix is reliable and effective. I get some mice in the wintertime, but other than that, things are good.

Terminix is a painful company and I would do everything impossible I could to cancel them. I don’t feel that they're doing a good job and I've got bugs. Their call center and customer support were terrible. I called them to get a quote and I got the runaround several times. At one point, I purposely didn't pay them, because they kept shifting the price. They gave me one price then they’d call back 30 minutes later to say they’d give me a lower price. As the representative was working on giving me that lower price, I could hear the representative whom I previously talk to making a joke with the other rep and they were both laughing. Then the last rep I was talking to hung up on me. A couple of minutes later, she called me back and said her phone went dead. It was unprofessional and garbage. I called back a couple days after and experienced a similar kind of call center.
What made me stick with Terminix was the guy that comes out and services the house. He’s fabulous, complete, and thorough and gave me his personal cellphone number so I could call him if I have any problems. As for the pest activity, we were very happy that there's nothing happening around the house the last time they came in November which was a winter season. Now, since it's spring, the bugs are coming out and there's been spiders around the house, and ants in our office area. So there's a need to get the technician back out here and spray.

I'm very impressed with their technicians who have an excellent standard of service. They're very courteous, professional, and good people. Scheduling seems to be done automatically. I get an email to say they're coming on such and such day and usually they come. However, there was always a problem with the email 18 months ago. It would say one time and my service technician would come at a different time, but that seems to have resolved itself now. Pest activity has been absolutely zero since I started with Terminix.

Terminix shows up for maintenance every quarter. They let me know ahead of time when they're going to be here and they show up. If we're not home, they leave a notice on the door that they came. Then a week or so later, I get a bill. We don't have any bugs, rodents or spiders and that's the way I like it. They take care of my house in a very non-intrusive non-invasive manner, and it's a very good experience.

We’re pretty happy with our most recent experience with Terminix. We needed help in eliminating squirrels from our attic. The people from Terminix are usually pretty good about coming on time. However, there have been a couple of times where we’d ask for them to call ahead of time because we have to drive from work in Plano to Garland, and they have forgotten to call us. Nonetheless, the techs all seemed to be very knowledgeable. They answered my questions and they don’t seem at all like I’m bothering them whenever I ask them. I have seen the squirrel outside, but not inside. so that’s a good thing. Currently, we are having issues with a few other critters that are starting to come into the house.

I recently had a need for pest control and called because they are a well-known company. The person who they sent out was great. He identified our problem -- we already knew what it was -- and then gave me the bad news about how expensive it would be to treat this problem. I signed up for the service anyway as it was necessary. From that moment on nothing but a nightmare.
We scheduled the first treatment appointment. I took a day off work to be home for it. Five minuted before the scheduled time they called to cancel. After much pleading they did fit us in and do the initial treatment. They then scheduled a follow-up treatment. The same thing: Made the appointment. Five minutes before the closing window they called to cancel. Again I called Customer Service. On hold for 37 minutes, before they did fit us in. The technician scheduled another follow-up appointment when they were at my house for three weeks later. I called to confirm this appointment and they told me that there is nothing scheduled for us. Again a call to Customer Service and on hold for 30 minutes. They were unable to fit us in for our scheduled appointment and I was told that someone from the local branch will be in touch very soon. That was an hour ago.
I have called the initial gentleman who was more than happy to take my money several times to see if he could help with this. Of course he has never called me back. We also had an appointment scheduled for a different reason for an evening between 5 and seven PM. He called at 1:00 PM to tell me he was outside our house. Of course we were all at work because they were not supposed to be there until between 5 and 7 PM. This technician was nice enough to come back that night during the original scheduled time. Now I am a reasonable person. I know that things sometimes come up and I am not their only customer. But every appointment I had with them has been a problem. I would not recommend using them. They have no idea what customer service is!

Everything is automated with Terminix when scheduling services. I get an email and phone call that say my appointment is this day at this time. So, I don't have to schedule anything, which is nice in a lot of ways that I don't have to do it. If I call and need to reschedule, it’s set up through that way as well. Terminix comes and does the exterior, which usually takes around an hour. I've never had any kind of issues with the technicians sent.
I still have a lot of issues with ants and other flying insects. But I see a lot of ants all throughout the city and my neighborhood so I think the problem is much larger than what's just in my yard. But perhaps Terminix should look into some pest control that's organic. It would be very appealing to me and maybe to others. I have two small pets who are mouthing everything and it worries me. So if I was to switch away from Terminix in the near future, it would be to find a pest control company that has organic products that I'm not worried about my pets getting in contact with.

We had termites. Originally, a guy from Terminix came over and did an inspection. We ended up signing up and doing the termite control. He installed nine of the Sentricon Bait Systems but didn’t do three. He kept telling me he was going to be back to do it and I never saw him again. So, I put in the three myself and called Terminix. They sent out another guy who’s now taking care of all of our termite and pest control. He made the extra effort to take over. I feel a lot better about it now. It was disappointing at first but they made the effort to fix it.

I am satisfied with Terminix. I have their basic service. They treat my home for bugs and make sure that we don't have any issues. I have a routine schedule, but if there is a problem that shows up on the interim, I can schedule a visit. The local branch is very receptive, but the 1-800 number scheduling is sub par and I could do without. Dave, our regular technician is great. He's always very personable and always willing to check and double check something out.

The technician was on-time, asked me about the issues I was having, did a thorough treatment of the property, placed traps by the garage entrances, told me what he had found (killed 4 scorpions during the treatment), explained what I should expect for results and asked if I had any questions. I had a service call scheduled for 3-5 p.m. April 18; there was a confirmation email sent over the weekend from Terminix, reminding me that I need to be at home to let the Inspector inside the house. I was here fro 3-7 p.m. - no phone call, no email, nothing to let me know he wasn't coming as scheduled. When I called this morning, I was told that the inspection had been rescheduled for the April 21st - I have not received an email or a phone call about this change. The least they could do is ask if that time is convenient for me. When I told them "No", I needed them to put me on the list for tomorrow April 20th at 9 a.m. the gentlemen I spoke with told me he would transfer me to someone else to see if it could be done. After over 12 min. on hold I hung up.
This also happened the last time I had an inspection scheduled from 2-4 p.m. At 3 p.m. I called - they couldn't tell me where he was or why he was late. He showed up after 5 p.m. and apologized - what if I hadn't been home when he came? Terminix, this is 2 strikes against you, we have been customers for over 10 yrs., and I will be moving my termite service is this problem continues.

I've seen signs of termites in our trailer coach in Florida, where they come back off and on. Every time we see signs of them, we call Terminix and they come and treat it. But this last time, there was a sign that there was more than usual. So the technicians came and verified that we did have termites. The techs were very professional and everything was good with them. They told me our coach needed to be tented so they're gonna put a tent over it and treat it on May 2nd. In the meantime, they have to send me a paper that I have to sign, and I'm waiting for that to come.

It was great with Terminix. They’re good. Scheduling services has been pleasant. They come quarterly and if I need them to come more frequently in between, they do. Our exterminator comes to the door, lets me know he’s there, gets right to work, checks in if he leaves, and I have no bugs. He's very efficient and quick. If I’m not at home, he takes care of the exterior of the house and leaves me some paperwork. They get everything done in a timely manner. Also, the prices are competitive so there’s no messing around.

Terminix is great. We've never had any issues since we got them six years ago. Our schedule every three months is set up for us automatically and they remind us on my email and then by phone. If we need to reschedule, we will reschedule. The technicians change every now and then, but we've had the same professional one in the last few times and I appreciate it. They are excellent. If we do have any problem like extra bugs, usually in the summertime, when we live out in the country, we just call Terminix. They'll come out and re-treat. The tech who came last time asked if we need any service like inside the house, and if we do, she'll come in and spray inside. She just treats the house, lets me know when she's done and finally gives me a ticket. I'm very pleased.

We discovered Terminix when we were getting a new kitchen floor and had to call because we discovered termites, and then I’ve had the maintenance they offer for yearly checks. I've had them since the ‘70s or ‘80s. They are very dependable. I haven’t had any problems with termites. I found their technicians to be very polite and friendly. They usually ask if I have any questions and have been very professional. I find their maintenance cost to be a little high, but other than that I don’t have any problems with them.

It's every three months that I get a service from Terminix. I get notifications via email, phone call, and a text before they arrive. If I ever have any issues in-between services or if I see something that needs to be addressed, then I go online and schedule a service and they come out and take care of it. In the many years I've had them, I've called them one extra time per year for in-between services. I've got a very nice guy from Terminix who services our home. He knocks on the door and lets me know he's here, does his thing, and whenever he leaves, he locks the door and provides me with the paperwork. All the interactions with their technicians have been fine, very cordial, and very professional. I'm pleased with their service technicians and their service.

I have quarterly service from Terminix and it's a very positive experience. Whenever I’d ask the technician any questions, he’s been very responsive and helpful. He listens, provides good advice, and does a very thorough job. More importantly, he has the courtesy to call in advance to let me know that he will be at the house within an hour or two. In today’s world, good customer service is hard to find. I have an external situation with spiders and ants and there’s been a significant change over the last couple of years. On Nov. 28, 2015 client request for a ONE time service for roaches from Terminix. The service was performed and paid $146.40 with a credit card. I was told after one weeks if the roaches reappears they will return and spray again as part of the service that I paid. The company came back to spray upon client's request around December 12, 2015. On March 2016, I received a surprise bill of $124.00 for a quarterly service which is NEVER authorized. March 17, it took me one hour on the phone in which time I was passed from one personnel to another. Finally, the company's representative (Cameron) request his manager to intervene. The Manager instructed the billing department to cancel the bill. Cameron was kind and empathetic enough to apologize for the situation and stated there was a misunderstanding on their part. Ashely from the billing department stated everything is cancelled.
On April 6 and 7 of 2016, I received two calls from Terminix requesting to call them back. Again, I spent one hour on the phone explaining that I requested for a ONE time service and never at time requested for a quarterly service. Later Kiera who I spoke with stated the account is cancelled and she does not know why Terminix is calling me for. I was now transferred to another supervisor (Clinton). He stated that he left a message for the branch manager to look into the matter and to initiate further investigation. He mentioned that there is "no" guarantee that the charges will be taken off and that there is "nothing" he can do. The account was closed but the charges remains. Again another fifty five minutes of unproductive conversation. I was told to wait for 48 hours for these people to call me back.
I can see clearly that this transaction is not conducted with integrity. Their personnel made a mistake and now they insisting that they do not have a one time service. Is this a false advertisement? Client made it very clear that she need a ONE time service for roaches. Based on such deception I refuse to pay for a service I did not request. This is how Terminix fulfill their philosophy to exceed expectation and ensuring customer satisfaction! It would be highly appreciated if ConsumerAffairs could intervene on my behalf in having Terminix remove from my record and any outstanding amount. I am requesting for a formal letter from Terminix company stating their apology their admission for their mistake. Also, to STOP calling me! Thank You for your kind assistance in this matter.
Updated on 4/14/2016: Terminix, your claim that this issue has been resolved outside Consumer Affairs is FALSE. I wrote a letter to Consumer Affairs on April 9 and to BBB on April 8. I got a called back from your company yesterday April 12. I am still waiting for a response from BBB. I spoke with you guys last on April 7. Today I got another Terminix statement of account.
I am truly appalled with this experience with Terminix. Barbara from Terminix stated that all outstanding balance was taken off ONLY today April 13 and that everything cancelled. This issue is "not" completely resolved UNTIL I get a formal letter from company as I have previously requested acknowledging their mistake and an apology. Furthermore, the letter should include all information proving all outstanding balance and the unauthorized" quarterly service are all null and void. Barbara stated she will supply me with that information via mail. I am hoping we can come to a complete resolution soon.

Terminix calls to schedule the appointment. They come and usually just spray and everything is good. They leave notes and callback numbers if I have an issue. It's a great experience. Their reps always ask me if there's any issue I'm having or if there's something more that I need them to do. So far, I've been very satisfied with the service.

Terminix have come out twice. The most recent was they came back for a follow up, and it was a great experience. They were on time and did a good job. As for scheduling the service, they got us in right away. It wasn't a long wait and they were professional about making the appointment. They filled me in as to what the process was and answer questions that I had over the phone before the guy even came out. I felt comfortable interacting with the technician. I asked him for a follow up, what he has seen or suggestions, recommendations and he was open to talk about it. Since the service, there has been no pest activity, which is always good, and I’m very pleased.

Terminix recently came to spray for bugs. The technician is a very friendly and knowledgeable individual. We really like him. We've had Terminix for about 10 years, and they do a good job. We've not had very many pests.

I've been having some problems with Terminix lately. They changed representative on me since the representative I had apparently got a promotion. The former representative I had was great and I never had any problem with him. But the new representative, Jason, came the day I had scheduled but since I was in the back of the house, I didn't hear him when he knocked or rang the doorbell. He sprayed outside and all I saw was a different man whom I didn't know coming back to the front door to put something. By the time I got back out there to see what it was, he was gone. I only saw the bill.
I called to say that I wanted the service done inside. Terminix set up two different appointments that I didn't even know about. Then Jason came but I was not home because I had a lot of things going on and I didn't even know he was supposed to come those days. I called the usual representative assigned to me, that's when he told me he was promoted and gave me Jason's number. However Jason doesn't have his cell set up to take messages. He said he would call me when there's an opening but I did not hear from him for a couple of weeks. I called him last week and found out that he's been sick, going through a divorce so he hadn't been at work. That was understandable but I thought Terminix could call/leave me a message to tell me that he's not coming.
I set up an appointment for last Thursday but no one showed. I called Jason on Friday because I can't get the Terminix office here in Paducah since it's a distribution. I called back the office on Friday and cancelled the appointment. Terminix had me set up for tomorrow instead but I'm going out of town this afternoon, I will not be home, so I canceled that. I hope the guy from the office did cancel it. I even called Jason to tell him that I'll call to set up an appointment after I get back. However he has to come in the house when he does because I've been seeing some ants.
Bottom line is that Jason hasn't sprayed inside the house yet - a service I've already paid for. I've been having a difficult time getting him back out here when it's scheduled. The scheduling people are also putting down the appointment without letting me know. So I have not been very happy with Terminix right now. I'm hoping that when I get back in town, we'll get this resolved. If not, I'm calling the man that always did my service before because he's the only one I can get from Paducah office - they don't have a receptionist.
We have used Terminix for years, even when we were in Arkansas and we transferred to them up here. I was always home when the original representative I had came because we had it set up. Also if I had a problem, he would come back and spray again. I had wasps last year and never any problem with Terminix. I'm just having a bad experience right now getting this taken care of but I still definitely would recommend them.

Records from company show I have been a customer of Terminix since 2001. Have requested a reapplication of chemicals since one applied has expired. Their response is will not retreat unless see signs of termite damage to house. That logic makes no sense for many reason. When signed contract with Terminix there were no signs of termites and yet they applied chemicals. So now when application is no longer effective according to expiration of manufacturer's guide. They no longer are proactive only reactive.
If that is their policy then there is no reason for chemicals to have been used at all. I have been asking for a reapplication, I have paid a yearly fee for Terminix contract, to have my house protected. If chemicals were applied as protection than when those chemicals are no longer considered active a pretreatment is called for. Example have your dog vaccinated - no longer active pretreatment is required by law.

I had been a happy customer but because they did not act as usual I am no longer with them and that was unnecessary! I am a senior who, like many others, have been so overwhelmed by mail that I often put it aside meaning to get to it later and sometimes just forget. Now, since starting back to work full-time at the age of 71, I am I even more exhausted and forgetful but my phone does have voice mail. I was late with a payment but instead of phoning me with that information as they had ALWAYS done before, and to which I have ALWAYS responded with a payment, they just terminated me as a customer.
I realize that it was my fault but I really am sorry that the company no longer even seems to even care enough to retain what are essentially good customers. I have been forced to stay with my automatic monthly termite protection payments so far because of the guarantee but will also end those soon because of their uncaring attitude. What a useless loss!
Updated 4/13/2016 - After I posted my complaint I got one vague email from Terminix saying they were sorry I had a bad experience. However, when I replied that I had an additional complaint that no one showed up for my Termite Inspection appointment the next day and that was far from the first time that had happened, I never heard back from them. Terminix has some automated caller that schedules and reminds us of appointments but what good is that if no one shows. I am forced to conclude that, since the email from Terminix offered no solution, it was nothing but lip service. Obviously they do not actually care about their customers. I suggest that you avoid this company and find another one, if it exists, that actually does care about its customers.

Terminix comes by once a month and the technician has always been professional and courteous. We've had them for at least 37 years and we had no problem with them. We're very satisfied and we would recommend them. It's been good.

August 15, 2015, Terminix started service at our home which included a detailed inspection & an initial payment of close to $200.00. Terminix returned for service September 5, 2015, Saturday & dusted the inside of the home for bugs, treated the outside, and returned for one more visit in October to set traps in the basement for rodents. The home was also to have had all cracks & crevices sealed which was never done, and the traps are still sitting in my basement. The next appointment was scheduled for November 7 at 0800 and no-one showed. I had made several phone calls to reschedule, but my phone calls were never returned.
In December, I started receiving numerous automated phone calls from Terminix to return the calls, however, each time I called back starting December 28, January 4, February 3, February 23, March 16, March 28, 2016, I was told someone would call me back within 24 hours. Every phone call that I returned, I waited on hold for almost an hour to talk to a service representative, then I stated that I was cancelling my service due to extremely poor customer service. I was again & again told someone would call me back in 24 hours which was an automated phone call. I will not pay one more cent to this company for the miserable service that we received.

We have Terminix quarterly and we're very pleased with the technician they had sent. We've only had two technicians over the 11 years. One is retired now and the other one that we have currently would explain things, answer questions and tell us how and what he's going to do. I like that part of being informed. They also do come in-between if we feel the problem hasn't been resolved. We're very satisfied with Terminix and have no thought of changing them.

I am extremely satisfied with Terminix. They come and do their job and we see the fruits of it by not having any more critters. I'm a sick woman and they're always very quiet and respectful of that. They want to make sure that what they're using in the house is okay with my lungs, which I find very nice of them to do because some people just wouldn't even care. I appreciate the service from them very much.

I love Terminix and their tech, who's been the same guy who's come out here since 2007. He is awesome, and if he ever leaves, I will leave. That's how good he is. Even when he couldn't drive down here because my road conditions weren't favorable, he walked to my house when he could have easily cancelled. I've recommended Terminix to my neighbor and now, they also have the same tech. I've also recommended him to my sister-in-law because they're buying a house. They're professional, courteous, loyal and honest at Terminix. I can depend on them and now, I don't have a rodent problem. I have a routine service from them, although, I called them recently because I have a wasp problem, and the rep that I talked to was wonderful.

I've used Terminix for years and years. Generally, we're not having any problem with pests. Occasionally, there will be some water bugs that come in, but I know that happens in the south. Our recent experience with them was fine and scheduling the service with them went as expected.

The service people from Terminix are excellent. I always have the same serviceman, which I like because we've gotten to know each other over the years. He's a great person and a good asset to the company. It's nice having to deal with the same person and not wonder what stranger is coming into your house. He comes out to spray, and it's effective, so I don’t have any pests.I was dealing with spiders and centipedes. I can't stand bugs, and if I see anything, I call Terminix, and they send somebody right out in between my normal visits that I have a contract for. I've been with Terminix for eight years, and have always had good service. And if I have to cancel and re-schedule, there's no problem. I'm satisfied, and would recommend them.

The experience is always great with Terminix, especially with Jason and Pedro. They come on time, and go above and beyond. Since having the Terminix service, the pest activity is very seldom, which is great for us, especially being in Florida. I had a temporary apartment that had Massey for their pest control but it still had persistent pests and they didn't seem to do as much. Terminix is an outstanding service overall. They are very professional and have the best value for my dollar.

They came when they said they were gonna be here and they let us know. They don't just invade your house. They'll ask you very specifically what you want to do. They're very nice, respectful and kind, and they get the job done. Since Terminix, pest activity is better, but we didn't have that many in the first place.

We've had a very good experience with Terminix. We use them for the inside of our house and have them quarterly. I have no problems with scheduling. We've had the same technician that has done our house for a very long time and it's always good when he's here. My only dislike is in the last six months they changed his schedule around. I was very glad to see him back the last time. I'm very satisfied and I intend to continue using them.

Terminix has been good. I've had them for about three to four years now. I don't need to schedule service with them because it's automatic and their reps have all been pleasant. And there's one technician in particular that I love and hopefully, he'll never leave. I've had a wonderful experience.

Recently, we had our quarterly pest control appointment with Terminix. We had moved to a new area and Terminix came out, gave us a free assessment of what we would need in the new place that we lived in and set us up for quarterly. The reps were courteous and friendly. The technicians were professional and answered my questions. They have kept the pests under control. We have used Terminix for a long time and we would return service. We always stay with them. Also, we have recommended them to other people.

I'm able to get the times and dates that work well for me in terms of scheduling. However, the problem is they want to come every two months rather than every three. If I reschedule, then they want to come back in two months. Last year I had a big problem with termites. I had to stay here four days waiting for Terminix to come and nobody showed up. I also don’t appreciate being billed before they come out and check my house. They’ve already billed me for the termite and hadn’t been down to do it. Sooner or later I’m going to have to drop Terminix because they continue to go up on their prices. Other companies are cheaper.

Terminix is something that I have to have. I live in Florida and need to spray for bugs. My service with Terminix is automatically scheduled and they let me know when they're coming out. They usually schedule me for early in the morning. Recently, my technician Jessie came out and did the pest spraying. He's a really good guy who's always thoughtful. He knows that I work midnight and that he could come later in the day and I'll be here. He won't disturb me sleeping. I also have three dogs and he knows to come knock on the door and let me know before he goes into the yard because they are police K-9s and that won't work out too well for him if he doesn't tell me. It's been fine since the service, although sometimes there's a problem if it rains too much. I call and schedule an additional appointment. But that doesn't happen too often.

I have two houses that Terminix services. Their schedule is fairly routine and they call me a couple of days ahead of time to let me know and I try to be here when they're here. So far, our recent experience with them has been very good. The technician arrived when he was supposed to arrive and they were professional.

I call Terminix not only when I need them but also when I expect to do something to see what might be the best way to go. I have a regular technician that comes in. He’s been with me for quite a long time and he’s very good at his job. My neighbor had mice which were burrowing through her shed into my yard and he had taken care of that. He had also gotten rid of the wasp nest that was attached to my fence. I was glad I could call on somebody to get rid of those nuisances, and I had no problems since then. He’s reliable, comes in at the time allotted, does what he has to do, and leaves thereafter. I’m quite satisfied with the service. This is my second house and he was also my technician in my first house. I’m very much satisfied with him than Terminix but he does represent Terminix so he is very good for the company looks.
Apparently, he was in the hospital so it was a new technician that came during the last service but he still did what was required for him to do. I haven’t seen any pest activity since then and although we are coming into spring, nothing’s come into the house. So far, so good. I did recommend Terminix to the person who had the mice.

We have pests and termites contract with Terminix and our recent experience with them has been fine. An employee called in advance of coming to schedule a time and I got an email before the tech came. He was very approachable. I asked him to spray inside so he went through the whole house, and sprayed outside, too. They have a routine schedule with us, performed every three months and so far, I’m not seeing pests.

I had a great experience with Terminix and will definitely recommend them. They did my garage and the front yard, and explained to me what was being done in the process. It was also absolutely easy to get through when scheduling a service with them - probably one of the best ones. Their technician was telling me how much the spray was putting out and to keep the pets out of the yard for certain amount of time before letting them out. I haven't seen any problem since the service. They're a solid company and they deliver customer service. I will keep them when we get another house, so they're definitely coming with us.

I had Terminix in the past but the recession hit and I had to stop as it was a luxury I could no longer have. The bugs started invading my property and house again, so I called them back out. Michael, the guy who comes out here, is absolutely wonderful. He was scheduled every other month and he said that the property was looking good and in his opinion, I didn't need the service that often so, I switched back to quarterly and he has been extremely accommodating. We communicate by text because I'm not home a lot.
I got my daughter hooked up with him as she had bought some used furniture that was infested with bugs and roaches. He was out three different times to treat her furniture and once again, with his great attitude, project was completed. He represents the company very well and makes my experience the best. The pests are gone outside. We'll still see occasional spider or a silverfish inside, but he has not sprayed inside. I don't like those chemicals. I have tried not to have him come in and he told me it would take longer again to get rid of them indoors and it has, but that's my choice. Terminix has always been very loyal and a good company. I recommend them to anybody who's looking for pest control.

Terminix has always been great. I enjoy the service, that's why I renew my contract with them every year. I receive services from them every quarter, and they call me and let me know when the technician is coming. If the time is not agreeable with me, I'll call them back and tell them that they can come at such date or time and it's always worked out. They are here on time and when they make an appointment, they come.
For the last year, it's been the same young man and he's been courteous and respectful. He asks me if there's anything else he can do and tells me what he's going to do. The ones before him were the same way. In Florida you're gonna have those big roaches, and that's a part of what they come to kill from the outside. My house is flat on the ground and I don't have any roaches inside my house. In the 20 years I've been with them, I've had two rats in this house. So the service has been seriously good.

We had a miscommunication with scheduling a time frame for Terminix to come and spray our home. I called in and rescheduled for a Saturday. It was my understanding and that's what I put on my calendar but that was incorrect because we waited all day for someone to show up but they didn't. When I called in, they said it's for the following Saturday. My window is from 9:00 till 11:00. However, they didn't come between that window in the last three times that they've been to my home. They've gotten there after the fact, around 12:30. I did not have this experience with the former company wherein they were always there on time and call before they come.
The technicians are always late and I hear them stating where the company schedules them and that they don't have enough travel time from one part of the city to the other to make it on time. But despite that, they're professional, respectful, courteous and they get the job done in a timely manner. We get scheduled every other month and I keep asking for a Saturday. However, that has not occurred yet. I always have to call to reschedule.

I have Terminix come every three months or when I need them in emergency. If I can't make it, I'll let them know and if he can't make it, then they call and change the appointment. I'm on a program plan and have had them for over 20 years and they're wonderful. The serviceman is excellent and has been here for many years. He knows exactly what my house needs and what to do. If I need some extra help, I can call him. He's dependable, reliable and honest. I am lucky to have such a good person. The people in the office are great. They're a good team and have done very good for me for all these years. And I want to continue working with them.

Terminix service is good. I changed my house and they treated my house. I have a contract with them and they come every three months. The automation service that calls me is not very good and I don't like it at all but their technician is good. We get along and he's very accommodating. I have yearly inspection with Terminix for termites and also the quarterly pest control with them. They just did a pest control last January and the man who comes quarterly is excellent. There's now little to no pests since their last service. Overall, it was an excellent service.

I like the Terminix serviceman, Rolando. He's a good man, does a good job, and rids the house of the insects. The insects come back occasionally but Terminix is good. I schedule our appointments around Rolando. I'm flexible since I'm retired. If I'm gonna be out of town, if I know three months ahead of time, I'll let him know. Sometimes I respond back on their email, so I'm cooperative. I like to work with him. The Terminix service is fine but they need to improve the accounting and I’ve tried both ways. Once by writing a check and sometimes the check is not posted for a couple of weeks. And then I charge it to the credit card but then I get an invoice in the mail for the same service day.
