    Over the years, scheduling services with Terminix has been good. Usually, we’ve been able to get somebody there pretty quick when we work out the schedule. We've had a termite issue outside and haven’t had any trouble that way since the service, other than occasionally getting ants which probably also stems from sloppy individuals that live in the house. If you leave dirty dishes in the basement, eventually, it's bound to get ants so one can’t fault the service for what the people do. On the whole, it has been effective. I haven’t seen any special problems anywhere as a result.

    Originally, I got involved with Terminix because the local company called Harder Insect and Pest Control which I was with went out of that business and into the tree-trimming business and Terminix bought that portion of Harder's business. One thing that bugs me about Terminix is that, more recently, they are selling me things I don't need. I have a well-insulated house but they keep trying to sell me insulation. At some point, I need to sit down and discuss what I need and don't need with Terminix. If they can tell me what I need that would be fine with me though I don't really need more than what I had with Harder Insect and Pest Control way back.

    The last visit by Terminix was an outside check. It was routine and I didn't have to make an appointment for it. They came, went around the outside of the property, looked at it and left. And when the technicians have to come in the house, I show them where the basement is and that's essentially where they do service. There's never any sign of termite but the Terminix tech has been here every year to inspect for termites. The one thing that we have from time to time are bumble and carpenter bees.

    Most recently, the Terminix official came and did a good job going through the premises. He looked inside and outside the house and was very friendly and courteous. We never had pest activity inside the house though we are surrounded by lots of wetlands around. So there were activities close by on the outskirts of the house but Terminix used all kinds of baits. The first one was powder and they had some liquid, too. I've had their service for ten years and am very pleased with it.

    I've been with Terminix a long time and I have nothing but good things to say about the company. Everyone's been friendly and kind whether it's the person on the phone for schedule or the person that comes. They find days and times that work well for me for service, even when I had to have somebody come in. When they came on a regular visit, I didn't have them spray inside and then about a week later, I had a termite issue so I called them and they were here the next day. The technicians are so thorough. I have a big house and they go through it. They find out exactly what I saw and what happened.

    We're happy with Terminix's service. They schedule and we agree to because we really don't have to be home when they come in but we usually are. The guy from Terminix always rings the bell and tells us he's doing it and if there is anything special, so it's good. He's great. Everything's okay and I don't have a problem with them. The only thing is that I don't know why I have pincher bugs that don't go away, and I understand it has something with water and stuff.

    Terminix is scheduled every three months. So by the time they leave, I already know when the next appointment is. Then it's very easy to reschedule. You can just sign in online to your account and reschedule there. The technicians were very nice too. I've had them for three years and I've not had any problems. I haven't had any pest since I've had them and that's the goal. I have recommended Terminix to other people.

    I am a Terminix customer for more than 10 years and I paid all the fees every month on time. On December 7, 2016 I request for termite letter from the manager name BRUCE (his Iranian name is Behroz) and I told him I need this letter asap for my closing, and he said "ok we will send it to your email." I had been check my email every day but no letter. I called Bruce and he said "I will talk to my supervisor and let you know," but he did not. I called him twice and he said the same, but he did not. This back and forth was for about a month!!! With no answer and I lost my closing date because of non having the termite letter... Unless I called the customer service and asked them "why you did not send me the letter?" They said "there is no request from you!!!" I said "I have all my texts between me and Bruce and the guy came to my house on December 9 for inspection. How could be no request?!!"

    I don"t know for what reason Bruce lied to me and waste my time. I lost my closing date with a lots of pressure on me and my wife. Finally after 2 days they sent someone to inspect again and gave me the letter...I'm so pissed off Terminix and I will cancel my membership with them and I will not recommended to anybody, even for my new house in Sandy Spring.

    Terminix came in November for a quarterly check. The technician came in the house and did some spraying. He also went outside and did some spraying there, too. It didn't take him very long and he didn't bother anything. He was experienced, nice, professional and courteous. Since the service of Terminix, the pest situation at home is better. I don't ever see a bug anymore. I only find a few dead.

    My technician is great. He returns my calls immediately and sets up appointments for any issue that I have. Recently, I acquired a tick problem and we have sprayed twice already, but I still have the issue. My technician is gonna come out again to try and spray again. I have treated the lawn outside and treated the dogs, so I was able to narrow it down and the infestation is inside the house. But I don't know what to do next and I was considering calling someone else to take care of this issue. I've been satisfied with Terminix until now with this problem.

    My technician, Chris, is so awesome. He's the reason why I've stayed with Terminix for a long time now. He knows my place and I can talk to him about my concerns and he'll come out and help me if I have a problem. I have a wooded lot so anything could happen. Like this summer, I had a lot of spiders and so Chris came back a couple of times for that. Then, in the fall, I always have problems with mice coming into my crawl space and he knows how to take care of that and I don't even have to tell him. Several neighbors on my street have Terminix and Chris was going to be switched to a different section, so I told them that I'm gonna drop them if they won't assign him to me.

    I picked Terminix over a local competitor because of their responsiveness. The same day as the termite inspection, I got a full report of the problem areas and alternatives for dealing with it. I signed up for a 5 year warranty after the tenting, which went exactly as it was described. A couple of years later, during the inspection, another type of termite was found. I wasn't happy about it, but, again everything was explained and alternatives were offered.     We have a great experience with Terminix. They have us scheduled, then we get a notice from their front office in email and voice message that says when they're going to be here. The nice thing is that our tech, Clay, also calls to make sure that schedule works and tells me exactly what time he'll arrive. He comes every three or four months, calls and informs beforehand, and is always on time. He's wonderful.

    The main reason we called them was that we had a flea infestation in my husband's shop, which is a separate building from our house, and they cleared it up. And that’s why we started getting Terminix on a quarterly basis. A couple of years later, it came back, and our tech came several times in the same quarter and cleared it all up again. He sprayed along the foundation, around the house and do the inside of my husband's shop. We have some neighbor dogs that like to come hang around and I think they have fleas. Overall, we're very satisfied. Our only concern is that their prices go up. We're retired and on a fixed income.

    We've been with Terminix for over ten years and they're a very good company. We have a quarterly service and scheduling is very easy. Anytime I have a problem, I call the 800 number and they can have the tech here the next day if I have insects or pest in the house. They are very quick and that's why we stick with them. The tech is usually the same guy every time and he's a great guy and a very nice gentleman. He knows the property and I have no issues or problems at all with him. We haven't had any pest activity since the services. I recommend Terminix to the people I work with. I just wish they would stop raising their prices all the time.     One improvement I've noticed with Terminix is the termite inspection. The managers send the technicians out when they feel like it. The technicians are great. They explain everything and tell me what I need and what to do. In the area I live in, there are a lot of ant beds and ant mound, and they take care of them, as well as the spiders. If I need them to come back within the allowed amount of time, they show back up. But the biggest problem is the management office. Also, my bill should come up the first of the year, say like February but they come out September. I think they should come out within a month of the time they’re supposed to come. But I would still recommend them.

    The guy from Terminix recently came and did mostly the exterior for us again. He was very nice and friendly. We have spiders here and he explained how the treatment doesn't directly kill them anyway. We also have a problem with ants, originally, and I haven't seen them since the day after he first came. We get a service four times a year and they send me an email that says that they'll be here on this day at this time. And if I have any problems, I can call. But I just let them come.

    Since I cannot get your offices to take me serious, I will keep calling and keep calling until I get RESULTS AND SOMEONE WHO HONESTLY CARES! I have been battling my pest problem for the last month and a half! Not only have I gotten HORRIBLE service you all don't care about taking care of your customers who have paid good money for your services!     Terminix did some home repairs because of my termite damage. The scheduling was fine and the work is done well. However, the activity that preceded this was somewhat problematic. I pointed out a damage to the inspector and he hesitantly said it was an existing damage and that it's not covered by the warranty that they provided. I took his word for it but eventually, I called his boss up and he came up personally and that's when things were done properly. He said it's pre-existing and he dug a little deeper and found some live termites. There were two or three instances of damage over the years and the first couple was dismissed and I didn't press the case. Fortunately, the management took care of it and that's why I'm happy now. For now, the pest is all gone.

    The Terminix guys provide us service every six months and I also have their service for termites. Scheduling a service with them has never been a problem. We're home all the time and they either send me an email or call ahead when they're coming. If I'm not available when they come, I contact them back. Recently, they came to treat the house for bugs. Since there were no bugs inside, the technicians went around and sprayed the outside and the crawlspace. Everything is fine here.

    That was not the same case before, though. We've been living in our house for eight years and Terminix has been inspecting it a couple of times a year. However, they plain missed the termites in the garage for more than four years and it was a little bit of a problem getting them to react that I had termites. I had to contact their main office in Memphis in order to get some action on it. I had plenty of response from them and once I got a hold of the right person, I didn't have a problem after that. They got people in here to treat the whole house again and they sent people who repaired the wall and everything else that they had to tear out because they had some termites. They got it all taken care of. I would still stay with Terminix and I would recommend them.

    While we love our technician and honestly he is the reason we have kept contracts on 2 houses with Terminix. All contact is by a 1-800 number and there is no way to contact local office if there are problems or issues. Scheduling is often a problem with confirmations not sent or left by voice mail with parts of message cut off. There have been several recent price increases. If not for the positive relationship with our service technician and warranty...we would change to a local company that you can call directly.

    I have Terminix for three things: spiders, which they come out regularly for, rodents and mosquitoes. They come out for mosquitoes June through October and for the rodents was fairly recent but they only need to do that once or twice a year. The technicians that came out were pretty easy. For the spray ones, they just knock on the door. For the rodent ones, we had some language difficulty when they first came. I don’t think he understood when I was describing where the noises were coming from and ended up with a lot of pointing. But other than that, it was good. They shored up whatever was making noise and how it was getting in because we don’t have it since. I requested certain days of the week and the automatic scheduling. The only issue is that it doesn’t go through online. I have to call every time if it’s done on the wrong day. I wish I didn’t have to have these services but I suppose they're fairly necessary and so far, we're happy.

    I called four different companies and Terminix was the lowest by a couple of hundred dollars so I hired them to do an outside exclusion for rodent and squirrels, and had them top off the insulation in my attic. The technician was great. It was well contained. The sales guy was great too. He was very attentive to my health concerns for my children. My youngest daughter has really bad asthma, so I was very very concerned about the extra material flowing into the AC system or into the house so they taped off all my doors with plastic as well as the hallway and zipped himself up. The way they send the bills was confusing because when they sent the bill before, I will head on and send the payment in. Then, I looked at my bank account, and they took a payment out. But, I got the billing back on track now since I finally signed up for them to not take the payment out every month.     Terminix has been coming out to my house for 15 years. We get a call and an email that they'd like to schedule the annual inspection, we agree to that and we make sure everything's right for the guy when he comes. He does the inspection, then I get a bill. It's been the same guy who does the inspection and he does a good job. I got to know him and he's a good guy. He never finds anything wrong, so I'm pleased because I don't have termites. I have a bit of forest on my property and there are termites out there, but we haven't seen anything in or around the house. I would recommend them. However, I had to call about the bill because they kept increasing.

    We got a call about a year ago and they said it was Terminix. But the guy who came out wasn't the regular guy. He said he didn't come to do the inspection, but rather to check how much insulation I had in the attic. They tried to sell me stuff and it peeved me off. They should have been honest and said they had other services and asked me if they could come and talk about it. When I get a call from Terminix and they would like to come out and do the inspection I figure that's my annual yearly inspection. I understand It can be a different guy. But I didn't appreciate that they send somebody out and sell insulation or an extra Terminix package. It's a crappy way of doing business.

    We used their termite protection and got termites. Very frustrating to deal with. We bought pest protection, specifically for termites. Their personnel did not resupply traps as they should have. Nest grew where one of their traps had not been serviced. This part of home rarely used so did not see damage until it had destroyed outer walls. They hem hawed around and finally offered a settlement for the damage. We were sick of the battle so settled, 'unless you sue you won't get your due.' We could not afford time or money to continue the fight.

    My October 17th review on Yelp prompted a same-day call from a new manager, Maurice, who proclaimed himself as the one who had come in to fix the operation and take care of customers. I explained that we had more than $20k in termite damage despite having been continuous Terminix customers for five years. Maurice sent a photographer who agreed that we had active termites. Maurice promised that on December 1st, his company would fumigate our home at no cost to us and asked me to gather receipts so that he could work on refunds for us. Impressive. But this week, three days before our scheduled fumigation, Maurice went back on his word and tried to put the blame on the customer for the termites. No fumigation and no refunds for money spent.

    You should know that Terminix's "Ultimate Termite Protection" excludes certain types of termites which you, the customer, are presumably supposed to recognize. Imagine that in any other business. Many Terminix representatives who have come to my wooden home in a rural area have agreed that the company should have told me what their company would/would not cover before signing my family on as customers. Maurice, the manager, agreed as well but this shady company does not respect its customers. Watch as they lose more and more business to ethical providers.

    Terminix came to exterminate my house the other day. I didn't see anybody but the work was clean. The time before that, they were at our house in August for our annual look=over. The guys were very friendly, on time and very efficient. However, sometimes there's a bit of confusion on who's coming when. We've had some of that in the past where three different guys showed up on the same day to do three different things.

    Sometimes I get phone calls for certain days then I get an email that says they're going to be there at a different time. Then last time, I thought that the gentleman was coming a couple of weeks ago and I don't know if he ever actually came or not. Then I got another email saying that I was going to have service this past week. So I'm not sure if the last one got cancelled or the guy came or there was a scheduling foul up or what.     If I could give negative stars I would. They miss appointments without informing you and DAMAGE PROPERTY without repairing it and it doesn't just happen once. It's happened more than 4 times which wastes our time as someone has to be present during the inspection. We also purchased a warranty from Terminix but it seems that we are still going to be charged for an inspection that is supposed to be covered. And no matter how many times I try to get in contact with someone who can help me resolve my issues, I'm always told that someone "will call me." It's been over a week. I just keep getting passed around and told that my complaint is being sent up the "chain of command." Never will I use this company again.     Terminix was great. They came out and diagnosed the problem. The first technician was wonderful. He did servicing and a treatment. He wore the booties in the house and spoke intelligently about what the problem was. However, no one ever came back to look in the house and see if the pest infestation stopped. I assumed it did because pests showed up in a room and I hadn't seen any sign of them since. But I thought Terminix would come in and check that.

    Also, they told me I can use them every month and I didn't sign up for it. But I got a call saying they wanted to come by the house and they did. I was not at the house when they came and when I asked what they did, they told me that they did what they needed to do outside the house. I thought they were coming to check inside but they said they gave me another treatment. So, apparently, what they do is they put you on a plan and they come every month and you have to tell them to stop. And I suppose it's a good idea, but I would prefer that they come do what they need to do and come back and check it inside. Then I didn't even realize I had a bill and I was late paying it.

    But they were courteous and I suppose I need to tell them whether or not I want them to come back and I'm debating on that. I'd like to know if this is something that I have to keep up every month so that the problem doesn't happen again, or if it's done and they've killed the pests then they've sort of done their thing. My overall experience was positive but there needs to be a little clearer communication. And when they do that, they need to have a small literature about what's the probability for the problem to re-occur.

    We've had Terminix for about 20 years, and always had good luck with them. They're good. When we moved, I didn't even think about calling anybody else. They send me an email and let me know when our next service is scheduled, and if I can't do it on that date, I just call and reschedule. Usually, the technician calls me the day before our scheduled service date to remind me that he's coming, and that's nice.

    I really liked the technician in the house that we lived in before. We had him for about 10 years, but he was retiring, and then we moved, and I didn't like that we weren't going to have him anymore. However, this other technician, Mike, has been great. We've been here now five years, and he's been wonderful. The same guy comes out every time. He's real conscientious and listens to me. He always tells me that if we see some bugs or pests around the house in between the sprays, then I can always call and they'll come out, but I've never had to do that because we don't have a big problem with pests. They're usually bad so the tech did another re-treat of the inside of the house and I've only seen one little tiny scorpion since then. We had ants, too, and they were coming into the house.     We needed a good company because our home owner’s insurance required certain things and we felt that Terminix was the only one who could do that for us. We had rodents and we also wanted to make sure we didn’t have termites, and Terminix has been on cue on everything. We’ve caught rodents and they’re huge! I'd pick up the phone, call Terminix, and they’d send somebody even on an emergency basis. Every time they come out and check for our pest control, they’re very aware of what they’re doing and what they’re looking for. The experience we’ve had with all the people that came to our home has been positive.

    Scheduling service was always very easy and quick. We have a gentleman that does our area in here, George, who is awesome. I had to cancel the appointment this week until the next and he said that he'll call me back before midnight, and he did. He’s excellent and very thorough. Then we had the whole house rewired so there were holes everywhere. He was here and I asked him to have some of the extra stuff inside in between some of the walls and he did a wonderful job. We would never switch over to any other because George is awesome. And every time that they do the termite inspection, we get our certificate from them and we’re able to use that certificate to give to our home owner’s insurance.

    We’re real happy and we love Terminix, we would never consider going to other companies. It is an expensive service but they do good quality work. We have grandbabies in the house and they make sure that they let me know that they're gonna spray in the room and try to keep the children out there for an average of four to five days. They’re real careful with that. They’re also excellent, even with the dogs. We have three indoor dogs and we contain them in one area when the guys come in. They do their thing and were always courteous about it.

    One time Terminix had finished the outdoor service but they wouldn’t leave until I showed up. I was so ashamed that I was late and I knew that they had been here. I told them that they could’ve just left. They said that they wanted to make sure and they took me around everywhere in the exterior to show me where they had sprayed. They're wonderful.

They send me automated phone call reminders the day before the schedule saying someone is gonna be here between such and such time and if I need to change that, I can chat with them directly.     I had actually started an account with another pest control company only to find out that Terminix purchased the contract from them. So I didn't have a choice from the beginning. What bothered me the most was the lies. The service tech claimed he came out to service our property when several times he didn't. Customer Service said it was "in his notes." The thing is, I work full-time at home, plus I have two very large dogs that live in the backyard. Either way, he wouldn't have been able to do much. On top of that, no notes were left on the door or in the mailbox to claim service was completed.

    I found out my contract was up by the time I realized the tech was consistently lying. So I canceled service. Terminix billed me for the following month... a month where I'd received no service, like the other months in the past. $109 was due. After many phone calls to Customer Service and Billing, it was resolved and the account was closed. Fast forward two years later, Terminix has sent my supposedly resolved account to Collections. If there was ever a chance I would have picked up service with them again, it's gone now. And I hope to warn as many as possible to stay clear of Terminix.

    After waiting five weeks for another company to help me with a bee problem building a hive in my walls, I finally called Terminix and they came out the next day. (They would have come out the same day, but I was at work.) When the tech arrived he was very friendly and very professional, and the first thing he told me was that it wasn't bees at all but wasps and I should stay inside while he treated them. I watched from inside as he took care of the problem and he was completely finished and cleaned up within 30 minutes. I was very impressed with the tech and his company.     We've had about three different Terminix technicians come out in the last several years and they've been all courteous and respectful. They're also not the most expensive in the area but they're not the cheapest one either. I'm not usually at home when they come out. They provide the service quarterly, though sometimes I have to call them back for ants, roaches or spiders that were still there. They're supposed to take the spider webs down and then one time, I killed about four black widows on the same day, so whatever he was doing was not helping.

    Most of the time, they're good about coming back. I have my gate tagged, so if I forget to untag it, they don't do the back yard. They would instead leave a note that I have to call them back. Then another time, I had a rat problem. They gave me some sticky trays for them, but that was not really enough so I put some traps out myself. They're not really good for rats. They've come in the house a couple of times because the ants came into the house even after they had treated it. They put something down inside the house and went through the garage and they were able to stop the ants from coming in. But overall, they've been good.

    My experience started out somewhat okay, but it didn't last long. In April of 2016, I decided to contact a pest control company to take a look at these flying insects (inside my living room and around the outside of my front door) that I noticed only one day a year in the spring. They either flew away or they died almost on impact of landing. I had seen them for several years but it was only one day per year, so I kept shrugging it off (priorities). I actually thought they were carpenter ants but I decided I wanted to know for sure, so I finally called a "professional". I kept a few dead ones in a cup because I wanted them to see what I was dealing with and they literally only last one day! They turned out to be subterranean swarmer termites. Luckily I had no structural damage because they had found their way out through my front brick patio instead of my actual foundation and come to find out, they live underground not in your house.

    Apparently, these are the "best" termites to have if you have them. The technician sold me the bait trap treatment and the drilling into the brick foundation for approximately $1,200, which I actually thought wasn't a bad deal. During his inspection, he said he noticed I needed a "vapor barrier" (at $500) for my crawl space and he also saw mouse droppings under the house which meant I needed new vents around the perimeter (at $1,000). It felt as if he were using a scare tactic because he brought up the fact that if there are mice, there are snakes so I decided to purchase the vapor barrier but declined on the vents because I wanted a second opinion.

    As an aside note, I could tell he was smoking in the crawl space because I could smell the cigarette smoke seeping through my vent registers. Admittedly I should have said something, but I figured he wouldn't be going back under there again so no harm no foul - I let it go but found it to be very unprofessional. After the vapor barrier installation, I noticed the crawl space light bulb was still on when I took my dog out that evening. I had no idea where the switch was and there was no way I was going under there so I called them to come back out, but they never did. The light bulb finally blew so when I had my HVAC inspection, the technician tried to replace it for me but the switch no longer works at all. Oh well, who needs a light down there anyway, right? *sigh*

    I reluctantly continued with my quarterly service contract and in the meantime, I was set up on auto draft installments for both the termite treatment and the vapor barrier. Every single month since May, they have drafted my account incorrectly - $21.25 less than what they are authorized to draft. I have to call to "catch up" the payments almost every payment. I also continue to get sent a paper bill even though I have never missed a drafted payment and I'm the one who calls to correct their error from the billing cycles, but I digress. In between treatments, I had a small ant issue on my back patio, so I called them to come back out but they never showed up. When I called the office, they said they must have "forgotten" to put me on the guy's calendar and I had to wait another three days before someone was available to come and spray.

    Then last month, my same technician showed up for my third quarterly pest control treatment, unannounced and after-hours, because he "happened to be in the neighborhood" which I thought was odd but I let it go since it meant he wouldn't have to come back out again. Little did I know at the time, I still needed a "quality control" termite inspection, which is apparently when they come to check all the bait traps for activity. When they me called to set up the appointment, the CS representative said I didn't have to be home but the technician (yup, same one again) just called me to say I have active termite activity in one of the bait traps so now he needs to go into my garage to check and make sure there is no structural damage. Of course I'm at work, so now he has to come back out...again.

    But here was the final straw. While on the phone today, this technician proceeds to tell me (again) that I need new vents because he saw mouse droppings in the crawl space and I apparently need a new vapor barrier?! When I proceeded to tell him I just purchased a vapor barrier from him (in fact, I was still paying for it), he stuttered and said, "Oh, yeah, I forgot you did get that from us six months ago." Does that mean he didn't notice that there really was one under the house and that it was practically brand new before telling me I needed a(nother) new one? Do they make a habit of spouting off services to get you to buy random stuff without actively seeking to know if you actually NEED that particular service?

    Needless to say, it's not really surprising to me that I had a handyman come out 2 months ago who told me I do NOT need new vents around my crawl space and when I told the technician this information and he started to argue with me about "all the holes you can clearly see in them". I'm beginning to wonder if I ever even needed the termite treatment or the vapor barrier to begin with. I plan to cancel my service contract as soon as possible and I have contacted their corporate office.

    My husband and I brought in an outside cat. She had fleas and soon our dog had fleas too. We used Petco products in the past. We used advantage bombs and furniture spray. The bombs did not work... do not waste your money. However, the furniture spray did work to an extent but we still found fleas. We only found a few here and there, but we took the animals to the vet. Gave them frontline and Cap-star, we then called Terminix.

    The person that came, walked us through everything. He told us the products that were used, areas they treat which is the entire house and yard (front and back), costs and how often they come which is quarterly until the customer cancels. He said that we could see fleas for up to 2 weeks after the treatment. He stressed to us that we needed to vacuum everyday or at least every other day for three weeks to ensure that the fleas were gone. If we saw fleas in that two week period, then he would come back FREE OF CHARGE and treat the house and the yard again.

    So far, I am very happy with the service we received. Yes, we saw a few fleas a few days after they came, but like he said it is expected which is why vacuuming is a MUST.     Terminix comes every three months for a routine service. Their technicians have been really good. Although when we had mice, they told us that all they could do was put down a glue trap which we didn't want because of the dogs and the kids. Then I've had two bed bug services this year and the tech who came out for the second one told us it would be $900. But I have gotten a bill for $1200 from Terminix, so I called their customer service and they told me that somebody would call me back. I have reached out to our local office too. The people who came back for bed bugs gave me a name, Jason, and his phone number. I've called him and he said the same thing. I have talked to somebody in that department but I haven't been able to get a callback from them. But they were really thorough and looked at everything on the last bed bug service. Thank God.     Terminix always does a good job with my place. The times that I've had infestation in which every year changes to spiders, or ants, they come over. I'd call them when it's a major problem then they come back and take care of business. They have their own schedule and there's no problem to accommodate those things. They would say that this is the day they can come and I'd change if I need to. The technicians were friendly and good. I was used to a guy for over a couple years and apparently, they’ve been having some changes of personnel lately, so it's not the same guy that is coming over.     Terminix salesman came to my home about an ant problem and in his sales pitch I was told I would have 1 visit each quarter and if in between there were problems I could schedule a visit online. I have scheduled two additional visits and stayed home to let the exterminator in. No one showed up either time. My time was wasted along with my money on a sales pitch I'm sure they had no intention of upholding. I am very upset and disappointed in Terminix for lying to me.

    I have a really small house. The only places that Terminix sprays are the outside and the basement door. They spray around the refrigerator, stove, and under the sink if I ask them to do that. They came an extra time last month and so I didn’t think they needed to spray the inside again. I didn’t even know that they were coming until I happened to go online. It was on my email.

    Every three months, Terminix will come on site to spray my outside and the backyard. In terms of scheduling, I’m pretty okay because every time, they will call me and let me know what day and time they will come and make sure the fence has not been locked. And they don’t miss the service. Just only a few times, the guy missed it but they left me a voicemail to say reschedule. However their installers won’t come off-hours. Most of the time they come the daytime, so it’s difficult. But I know they come on site because I have a camera in the house, so I know they’re coming. So I know they’re doing something.

    The only problem I have with them recently was the payment issue. They suddenly increased my payment without any notification. That really pissed me off because I expect if they increase any service charge, they should let the customer know about it when they’re going to. So I tried to call them to figure out the reason and it’s difficult to get into their customer service. Next time, maybe I will cancel it if they don’t make any adjustments.

    In our most recent experience with Terminix, they went around the house and checked everything and they listened to all of our concerns. They told us how we could do certain stuff to prevent things from entering the house. Our only grumble was the fact that they didn't do the attic when they said that they would. But the scheduling was really easy and the guy showed up when he was supposed to. We didn't have to wait around for him, so that was great. He was pleasant and he gave us lots of information.     We use Terminix for termite inspection and control. They came out recently and inspected the house for termites. It was a maintenance inspection to check if they've got to spray again. It's been pretty easy to schedule the service. They spray our house every month, and I don't have any termites after the service. However, my policy with them runs from December of one year to December of the next year, but they start to send me bills in August instead, and I get a bill every month from August. They tell me that my payments are due on August 27th, September 27th, and October 27th, when actually my payment is due in December. But other than that, Terminix has done a good job coming around.

    We've been Terminix customers for almost 12 years and we've always been very pleased with them. Scheduling services has been very easy and they always arrive within the proximity of when they say they're going to. We have three different techs who come and they are all very personable especially Edgar who's great and truly trusting. They're also very accurate and we feel like they meet our individual needs. We have seven beehives for honey so we don't treat in certain areas and they work around those. They are always very understanding of that.

    Kevin, the young man from Terminix, came at the proper time that I was notified that he would be here. He’s always polite and very thorough. But I still keep having problem after problem with these roaches. They’re all in my kitchen cabinets. Everything I eat with, I have to wash. The last time he was here, he said he sprayed inside and outside really well. But when I go in my walk-in pantry at night to throw something in the garbage and turn the light on, the roaches are fleeing like crazy. And he even sprayed there the last time. They evidently need to strengthen their spray.

    I’ve talked to the young man about it and he said it’s a problem everywhere in this area. There are ants, too, which are terrible. If the situation isn't any better, I'm gonna ask them to come every month and a half instead of every three months. For the money I’m paying, I’m not really happy that the roaches are not getting killed, though I have recommended Terminix to one other person recently who has started using them.

    I have four houses that are under Terminix contracts, and they're all close together. Each house has a pest history. Most of the time, the techs come quarterly just for a routine, inside and outside preventative service. But we have a place down in Florida where we got their service for a specific issue. We had troubles with wasps that were keeping us from getting our air conditioning serviced. So, I had to have them come out and take care of the wasps. It was easy to get that service scheduled. The service happened the next day. They did it right way, and everything was fine. The latest service we had was not for wasps, but for mice. It was getting cold up in Ohio, and I started hearing sounds of mice scampering around in the garage and in the walls of the house. They put traps down and took care of that for me.

    However, I had one problem with them. They have the option of getting an e-bill feature, where it's automatic withdrawal from your checking account. Normally, I would have expected the bill to come out within 30 days of when the payment was due, but they were taking out the payment within 60 plus days of when it was due. I said, "That's borrowing money for free, as far as I'm concerned." I talked to them first about it, and they told me that was their policy. So, I filed a complaint with the Consumer Affairs under the Ohio Attorney General, and these folks didn't get any satisfaction either from Terminix. So, I dropped that option altogether, and instead I have Terminix send me a bill, and I'd send them a check when it's due. Nevertheless, I would still recommend Terminix. That's the only problem I've had with them that I was a little upset with, and I've had them for a few years.

    We are on a monthly rotation and just yesterday, the technician went around all the eaves and wiped down all the spider webs. He then commenced to spray the barrier all the way around the house. We have a couple of outbuildings and garages and those were done as well. The technicians are very cordial and if we have any concerns, like when there were some ants at our pump house, my husband was given some granules to put out. So they try to accommodate. They're limited on what kind of bait they can give because now there are so many restrictions and there's not a lot that you could put out as a consumer.     The Terminix guy came in, sprayed around and inside the house and was really courteous. It's a new service where they come out every 90 days. And they come out as needed if we see any insects in the house. Since the regularly scheduled routine visit, they’ve come out twice for problems that we’ve had. But they’ve really worked on trying to figure out where our insects are coming from and why they’re still in the house.

    It's easy to schedule the service. I can send an email or make a phone call and they schedule me right away. As far as getting the techs out here, it doesn’t take much. Their techs are really nice, friendly and knowledgeable. If I have any questions regarding what's covered or not, or what I should do in an instance that I'm looking into something that's not covered, they help me out. We’ve had them out here quite a few times but only because we’re in a new subdivision and there’s still a lot of building going on. We found that we run into a lot of insects. But I don’t think that it’s anything that they’re doing wrong, I think it’s just the situation that we’re currently in.

    At the beginning of the summer I had horrible flying things in my kitchen and lots of them. I assumed they were termites so called Terminix to come in. They were actually flying ants but an inspection of my whole house showed I had a lot of different bugs. I signed a contract for four treatments. It was very expensive but I was of sound mind when I signed so can't blame them for that. The first treatment was thorough and no complaints. A couple of months later I saw that they had charged almost $300 on my credit card.

    No one from Terminix had called to set up an appointment--they just zapped my card. I was furious that they took the money from my account but didn't schedule an appointment. I called them up and canceled my account with them and then started trying to get that amount taken off my credit card. It took over a month and they kept saying they would credit my account but never did. I finally had to call my bank to dispute the charge and even with the bank representative they said they would refund the charge until during one conversation where I was on the line, they suddenly out and out said no way were they crediting me.

    Long story short, the bank went ahead and did credit my account and I guess Terminix has to prove to the bank that they did do a second service (they didn't) or some other reason that I shouldn't have received a credit back from them. I have never gone online to write a negative review about any company but I feel so strongly about this that I want people to be forewarned. I would suggest not doing business with Terminix because they are over-priced and I feel a little dicey to do business with.

    I used Terminix in the past for termite infestation and all went well. That being said, last June I called them for service to spray for ants that had invaded my home and clearly stated that this was to be a one-time service. I distinctly told the representative that I don't do plans of any kind and they confirmed that the cost was a one-time thing. Well, here it is October and got billed for a quarterly service. I've called Terminix twice. The first time, the rep said I needed to talk with the cancellation department, transferred me over and I spent a half an hour on hold before hanging up. The second time I called, they told me once again that I had to talk with cancellation dept and said they were closed.

    I told them that I don't even think anyone came out because I had been at work all day, my doors and gate to the back was locked and no note was left saying anyone had come by. The rep assured me that someone had because the service person inputted it into their system that he had come out and sprayed. Sprayed what? He couldn't get to anything to spray! The rep went on to say that my quarterly service bill was $129. Again, I said that I was not paying for a service I had not given authorization for nor seen. And again, I'm having to call back to speak with a non-existent cancellation department. This is ridiculous and fraudulent.

    Our experience with Terminix started out good. When we first started having our house sprayed, it was because of a cockroach but then they sprayed and it went away. Then they spray inside and outside my house and I’m still getting cockroaches. My wife is really irritated because she can’t have any of her friends over here ‘cause all of a sudden cockroaches pop out everywhere. Terminix sprays our house every month but nothing’s going away. We figured maybe somebody else uses a different spray. We’ve been doing Terminix for two years and I don’t know if the bugs get immune to the spray after a while.

    There was also this one technician and he came from the Merced area. He left a card and told me if I have any problems to contact him but then I ended up losing his card. And it seems like every month, it’s somebody different. And they really don’t seem to care about our problem. They just want to spray and go home. They also don’t even say goodbye and they just leave a tag on my door. I want somebody to listen to my problems and find out what they can do.

    I had called Terminix initially because my tenant had left fleas from the dog that they had. I told Tom, the guy that was there to spray, that I was going to contact Terminix for a follow-up. So he gave me his card and said, "No need to call them. Just call me. I'm the one that does the spraying in this area." I said, "Okay," and took his card. He explained to me that they always come back a week later and spray again at no charge. Then he was going to set me up every three months to spray, and it would cost me $99.

    However, when I called Tom back to try to get him over there to spray again, I couldn't get an instant contact with him, although I tried calling him three times. So, I had to call the Customer Service number, and I'm like, "Why did he even give me his card if he's not even gonna answer calls or at least leave a voicemail?" So, I was very disappointed in that. I'm thinking of switching to another pest control company because he said that he's the only guy who does the entire Cincinnati and Dayton area radius here, so I would have to deal with him again.

    Terminix schedules the appointment on routine service, I don't even need to be there when the technician comes. Then when he comes and I'm there, he's very friendly. We have a little pesky little dog and he seems to get along with the dog openly. We discussed problems that we may have and he educates me quite a bit on the types of varmints. Then we noticed that we get a few little critters around before we're supposed to have a service, but then they're gone right after the service.

    The rat thing was the worst that we had because we didn't know what was under the house and crawling in the walls. We kept hearing noises. They come out, even when I'm away from the home, as long as I leave the gates open and leave no animals in the yard so they can access my place, which they made clear when I began my contract with them.

    We had an issue with spiders and I wasn't happy with the first Terminix guy who came out. I've always been happy with them but I don't like that new person. He said he was here to spray but he was gone in 10 minutes. I don't know how he did it but we have a huge perimeter around our house and when I came out, there were some spiderwebs and it didn't look like he did anything but real quickly sprayed and left. So we had a repeat service. Scheduling that was very easy. I just called the number and the rep got me in any way. The second guy who came out was fantastic. He cleaned all the spiderwebs around the door, the lights and the windows. He also told me what was going on or what I needed to know and stayed around. I haven't seen as many spiders since that service. And we decided to respray again.

    I've got termite control with Terminix above and below ground, and they come out whenever I have concerns. Once a year they come out, get under the house and check for underground, and then they check above ground for termites. Their customer service and the pest control people that come out and do this service are very personable and professional. They just called me the other day and asked if I wanted to do a free inspection of the house for any and all services. I can go online or make a phone call to schedule the service, and they're out within two or three days at the most to redo anything that needs to be done.

    Over the last three years that I've had Terminix, I've only had to have one recall for service, and that was after a rainstorm. I had to have them come back and respray, and the service was excellent. Last time the technician took care of all the needs that I had on pest control. They've been right on it with their service every three months. I live in the country, so I've gotten rid of all the spiders, including black widows. All the silverfish are gone too.

    Our attic was full of wasps, bees and spiders. Terminix came and exterminated them. It's better now and they come and spray every three months to keep that from happening again.     We’ve used Terminix for the last 4-5 years now. When we moved in five years ago, we had termite initially and we tented the house. Ever since then, we didn’t have termite damage. We have a contract with Terminix and they come every year. They usually contact us and schedule. I’m fairly flexible so scheduling is not a big deal and that works well.     The treatment of Terminix is very effective. Our problem has been, over the years, always kind of a seasonal thing involving mice. They’re coming in at certain times of the year. But the situation has been kept very much under control so that it’s more of a nuisance once in a while. Once the peak of the time of the year comes about, I know that the traps are efficiently set in different locations of the house, including the attic and downstairs. We do get some mice in the area where they frequent.

    I also have had no problems whenever there’s been a problem outside of the usual schedule. The day the service was to be scheduled or provided, someone would definitely come to deal with the problem. As a rule, they’ve got a pre-fixed schedule. But they’ve provided me with a phone number where I can reach the company in the event that something unexpected comes up, such as having a couple of mice when not expected. And also, we have the ability to contact the actual technician if need be or to find out when he’s gonna be in the area so that he’d get to facilitate scheduling on his part as well as ours.

    Everything is favorable with Terminix. And the personable service is a welcome thing in today’s day and age. We like the technician and we’ve been very pleased with the service and no complaints. So we know the individual comes out and he’ll make it a point of asking whether or not there’s some area that he hasn't covered that we would like him to deal with. It’s not a cold type of relationship we have with the technician.

    My father and I have had a Terminix account since 1974 at **. March of 2015 it became necessary for me to sell the home. The new buyers wanted an area checked that might have active termites. I had to call twice asking for the service to be done. Nothing. I then had the realtor call. The inspection was finally accomplished when the home sold the last of April. I requested a refund for the last 4 months, it was refused. I was told it would be applied to the new owner. After all the years we had been with Terminix one would think a 4-month refund wouldn't be asking too much. I would have started with Terminix here at my new home but after receiving such customer service after so many years, there is no way so please stop sending the renewal notices. Terminix is on my blacklist and anyone who will listen to me.

    Terminix International Tampa, Florida branch did a termite job at my 13 unit complex. I double bagged all my eatable items properly with the bags the company provided. I had 4 bags of eatable items that were double bagged & secured properly. I had 2 bags that were not double bagged properly. Those 2 bags had plastic bowls, paper towels & toilet tissue. The workers threw away all bags in my kitchen. They threw away everything that I had acquired in my kitchen over the years. The workers went into my bathroom & threw away toothpaste, soap that was never opened. The workers went through my home & threw away items in a savage, brutal & horror manner.

    The company did not send anyone out prior to the Terminix tent & gas was administered to make sure my food was properly secured before they performed the job. The company did not performed the service that they would have performed if my home was a single standing home. My home is part of a multi unit condominium. They performed a mass job instead of treating each unit as a single home. The company was responsible for sending someone out to make sure owners food was properly secured.

    It appears they did not give our multi unit the same service they would have given a single standing, single family home, to make sure the homeowners of the multi unit food was properly secured. I am posting this review because I have requested TERMINIX INTERNATIONAL 4306 N 56TH ST. TAMPA, FL 33610 TO replace the food & items their workers improperly threw away. As of 10/3/2016, I have spent approximately $250.00 just replacing my bare necessities needed in my home.

    Terminix always let me know right before they come. My scheduling service has never been an issue so we've been great. I'm satisfied with everything. I've only seen two different technicians, but they were both great, very friendly, explained everything, came back to the door, and asked me if I had any questions. They were both knowledgeable and would let me know what they could spray and what they couldn't spray, even around the areas, and the outside of my house that had my neighbor’s tree.

    We did have a miscommunication where they used a new spray that doesn't smell like garlic anymore and I didn't know there's a new spray. The other times the Terminix tech came, it's a garlic-scented spray that's super strong. I thought he didn't spray because it didn't smell like garlic. But he told me that he switched it and they don't use that anymore because it stains and so I told him I was sorry. He ended up re-spraying because it had rained so bad and washed away a lot of it, but it wasn't his fault. But just all around, I'm really happy because I haven't seen any mosquitoes at all which was a huge issue since our last service. I'm extremely happy with their service.

    Earlier this year, I contacted Terminix to treat my home for insects. I had two treatments so far. Once every other month. I paid cash the first time around and online through my account the second time. When I paid cash, the employee signed my bill paid. Now, I keep on getting calls stating that I owe money. If it's a $100 a visit and I paid $200 for two visits how do I owe money. I made plenty of calls to the company.

    I was even told once to make a call to the local office (like I should do their footwork). I've tried to talk to the supervisor. Once I was told that no one was there (lie). Another time I tried to talk to the supervisor, the supervisor said "I will get this fixed for you." Today I was told that they will send an email out for me. Everyone says that they see the comments, but no one is fixing it. Today, I tried to call the local office in Teterboro, NJ and I got forwarded to the 800 number. Oh yeah, today I call and they hung up on me, twice. Terrible customer service. Not worth the headache.

    I want to share my horrible experience with Terminix. I moved into a 10 year old house in the Houston suburbs and wanted to protect my home from termites, so I agreed to sign a termite protection plan and charged it to my credit card. When I received the service agreement I noticed the terms and conditions and the length of the service plan was incorrect and the name on the agreement was spelled wrong as well. I immediately called the contact number for the Service Manager provided in the contract to inform him of the wrong information and to send me a corrected contract. The phone number provided to me was not in service, that's when I knew I was scammed.

    I have tried calling Terminix more than a dozen times but have not been able to reach the Service Manager nor any Terminix representative to return my calls. Once they have your signature in the document they disappear, with no way to contact them. I want to urge anyone considering services from Terminix to think twice before contacting them. Their sales tactics borders on fraud and I believe I was a victim of unethical behavior of the Service Manager.
