    I've used Terminix for years in my home and have brought them into my business offices as well. Their technicians are professional, friendly and knowledgeable on both routes and they always come as scheduled.     Recently bought my first home, had carpenter ants and Terminix has been great. I had my first treatment with Emile about a month ago and he came back immediately when the problem was still showing up a couple weeks later!     My husband went over a nest of hornets a couple of years ago when he was mowing the loan and he was stung 10 times. Terminix was out here the next day and got rid of them. Their technicians in the past have always been good but the one person that wasn’t good was when many years ago, we had termites. And the technician closed the door and locked me out of the house. So we sat in his truck and I called the police who told me to call the fire department. The fire dept. got me back in. And the technician showed them all the termites everyone left with paraphernalia.

    If you also call the 800 number of Terminix, it's like going into a black hole. Sometimes, even if I call the local number, it still gives me the 800 number. There are times when it's excruciatingly painful but other times, it's quick so I can't say that it's always bad. Also, I had trouble with the ants but this year, I didn't. Their technician treated them and he told me what to do in case any of them reappear. The service is good so far, except sometimes I have mice and I don't know how to get rid of them exactly. But they've been really good to me and if I have a problem, they're out here. And I don't usually have to wait a long extended period with problems.

    My technician was very professional, and friendly. He went out of his way to treat ant issues in my yard, and that wasn't even on my radar. He recommended how the house and yard treatment should be changed at next visit to best address the ants.     I called Terminix and it took them a couple of days to send someone out. The technician who came was professional. I had some yellowjackets trying to build a nest so, he sprayed and took care of that. He also saw some ant hills and he sprayed that, too, which I hadn’t asked him to, but he did. I thought that was considerate. I'm satisfied with the technician but with Terminix, it's hard to tell.

    Last week I purchased a new contract with Terminix for the rodents inside since the contract I had with them was once a year for termites. I needed one for insects. We also have a big rodent outside and I realized that they must have come from the canal right by me. Flies have also come from wherever that little mouse passed. Terminix however canceled on me twice, going into the third time. Their sales rep came but the other guy didn't show up and I was pretty upset about that. I was so angry that I just told the person who was calling me that if they didn’t come, don’t come.

    The guy however came and did a good job. He was also very courteous. From what I can see he got rid of my rodent problem. I don’t know how many were in here but what he put down worked because we’ve had a problem with the smell. I was just disappointed that they kept cancelling. I had a couple of things to do and I had to sit here and wait on them and they didn’t show up. I put off getting it so long but I went ahead and sacrificed to get service and I was really upset about the way I was treated. It’s not their fault that I had insects, it’s the area, but I’m paying and I expected to be treated with courtesy.

    If they had too many bookings on one day, they should have called me and told me that they won’t make it at seven o’clock. For that reason, I won't recommend them. Now, I’m going to try for a little while to see how it works, if these guys are going to come like they’re supposed to, and how my service will be. Other than that, the service that was given to me, I don’t have a problem so far.

    The technicians of Terminix were okay. Last year, we had the same guy, John, all four times and I like him. I'd call him if I had a question and he was very effective. However, scheduling with Terminix has not been the easiest. There are cancellations and times not being able to schedule when we want to. But some of it was my fault like when we had a bird that built a nest on our lower porch. And we just couldn’t have them spray with a bird’s nest and baby Robin there. And sometimes when they’ve called or emailed to let me know that they’d be coming out and I’d call and say I’m not going to be there. But then, they'd say they don’t have me for that date anyway. It was a little confusing.

    Also, the spraying from this year doesn’t seem as effective as last year when every time they sprayed, we didn’t have any spiders, ants and moths. Now, it feels like the service was never there. Also, after spraying, it would be noticeable, I could tell that they’ve been here. But we really didn’t see that this time. I expected the same service that I got last year but I’m not sure I have it. For the next service, I’m going to try to be here when they come so I can talk to them while they are here in the process.

    Bob our Terminix guy comes every three months and does a nice job. We like him. I know him well and he’s been our rep for five years. He’s very personable. We get an email that says he’ll be coming on an afternoon or during our best times and that works around. If it doesn’t, I’ll call him since it's easy to reschedule. He comes no matter what time is convenient for us. Before him, Jason was our rep and both were very nice and knowledgeable if we have any issues. We’ve had very little pest activity and if any, it’s been predictable because of nature. Everybody is fine and professional. Everything that we desire is accomplished so we’d surely recommend them.

    I just moved into this house about a year ago and in my first service call, the little fellow just went through the house right quickly then he was gone and didn’t service anything outside. The new serviceman did a thoroughly good job and he should be complimented. He serviced 35 containers and put out new stuff.     We’ve moved in to my father-in-law’s home about three years ago. Terminix was already contracted when we moved in. And then, we cancelled them. But we ended up calling back and getting them rescheduled. Our service comes every three months. We’ve mentioned to Chris, the tech who comes out, that we wanted him to come every three months and he set that up for us. Terminix calls or emails us that the service will be coming. Chris also calls and lets us know that he’s on his way. We appreciate that because we work from home and we can know whenever he’s going to be there.

    Our most recent experience with Terminix was when Chris came out and sprayed outside for us. And then, I asked him to spray inside because we’ve been seeing a few brown recluses and so, he did that. The next day, I saw a couple of more spiders. Since I have his cell phone number, I just called him to see if maybe he needed to come again. And he said that we were flushing the spiders by spraying. If I saw any in the next days, give him a call. And I did not. Chris knew what he was talking about.

    Also, I saw bugs at the drain in the kitchen and I’ve never seen any in the kitchen before. Chris said it was really hot there and that he’s sure it’s because of the spray. But if I saw any more, we got to call him back. And I did not need to call him back. Chris is very nice, timely, friendly and dependable. He shows up when he says he’s going to. He is doing a great job and is happy to answer any question that I have regarding the service. I would definitely recommend Terminix to a friend.

    About 40 years ago, when we first moved into this house, we had a swarm of termites. I was a young bride who knew nothing and I asked my husband what that was. He said it didn't look good and since then, we've had Terminix and we've had no problems. The Terminix representatives have become like friends. They're very pleasant but there's still boundaries. Now, they come every quarter and the appointments are on my calendar. Our technician also contacts me to remind me about the schedule and if I don't hear from him or if I need him in-between appointments, I call him and he comes. If there's ever a delay in his arrival, he calls to tell me why and what time he'll arrive. They're always good with that.

    When the tech comes in, he checks the traps and then he calls me. I would ask if he found any mice out there and he would say no or that there was one and he's taken care of it. He also checks the garage and then he comes around to tell me what he found and what he would do. Then I would ask questions if I have any. I'm happy with their service and Terminix has been terrific. I'm glad I have them.

    The first time I dealt with Terminix they were really great. We were having problems with little black sugar ants or Argentinian ants, as the technician called them. We’ve tried to take care of it on our own and had some D.I.Y. test kit but we just couldn't get them under control. We also had issues with silverfish and spiders so I called Terminix for all of them.

    The gentleman who came, Tom, was really awesome. He sprayed into everything and explained everything to me. And I've got some special case scenarios. I have a daughter who has asthma so I have to be very careful with what chemicals I put in my house and with the powdery stuff that's sprayed into things. I also have a dog that’s allergic to just about everything, two cats and a pet chicken. Birds are very susceptible to sprays so you have to be aware. Tom assured me that everything was concealed and contained and it wouldn't bother my daughter. He also said it was safe for my pets. He had me take the bird out of her cage and put her outside while he was spraying and until the chemicals had dried.

    Tom told me that the little black Argentinian ants are hard to get rid of and may take a few sprays. And that once they get in, they know how to get in again. He said we should wait for about 10 days and if we had any issues, we just have to call him and he’ll spray again. We didn't see any critters in those 10 days. He’s really professional, nice and just great. I got lucky and he's had critters his entire life too so he understood our problem. He knew and told us of what to watch out for. It's been a few months since he was here and everything was fine.

    Recently, it's been so wet that I think the pests are starting to come in again. In the last two weeks, I noticed the ants, a couple of silverfish, and some spiders. It wouldn't be bad but my six year old son is phobic of even small spiders. I called Terminix again and he's supposed to come out today and spray. I first tried to schedule the service online and it said somebody would contact me about scheduling a date. And so I waited for about four days but nobody contacted me. After that period, I called them up. And the lady was really helpful, super sweet and accommodating. She got me the very first appointment date she had available and so I was very grateful for that. Terminix has been great and I would highly recommend them. And I've recommended them to two neighbors already.

    We've had major landscaping done around our house and we tore down all of the brick walls. That disturbed everything and we started seeing brown recluse inside our house. I saw two that were extremely large. We had only seen them when we first moved in but we had it sprayed and that stopped all activity. We called Terminix because it was a non-scheduled service. They told me someone would get back to me, but no one did. I called back and that didn’t work very well either. Only when I called back an additional time that they eventually called me back to schedule.

    The technician who came was fine. He came inside, looked around and said he would spray where he thought there was activity. He said he really didn’t see any activity, but he did spray. I didn't see him do that because we have a relatively large home. I also told him one came from under the couch when I was lying down, which was an activity. After the service, I have not seen any spiders, but I wasn’t seeing a huge amount to start with. I’m hopeful that that took care of it. Overall, I would recommend Terminix.

    Scheduling my service with Terminix was excellent. Their rep Jose was on time, though he had to come out twice because I was still seeing pests around. The next time he comes out, I wish he would spray the upstairs and downstairs windows instead of only doing the floors where the cracks are. I also wish that he would spray the sliding door and the inside and outside of my front door. Nevertheless, Terminix is really good and I would recommend them.

    We originally got Terminix because we had an ant problem in the roof of our new house. Then, we kept them and they come in on a regular basis because we don't want to have an issue with the ants getting into our house. They're on a regular schedule and they notify me when they're coming. Also, the reps have been very good and the technician is excellent. We had one incident in the spring where the bugs came back and I called the technician. He came the next day, gave me another spray and that took care of it right away. But we had a lot of rain and that washed away the treatment. He had given me his personal cell phone number and I called him. He came the next day, treated again and we haven't had a problem since. We're happy with them. It works good and we plan on keeping them. Also, I'd recommend them to anybody.

    I was concerned about carpenter ants and Terminix does routine spraying for them. We’ve been with them for about 10 years but it was on and off depending on which house and whether we think we need it or not. But we’re on contract here on the Cape and its automatically renewed. The service is also automatically scheduled and I contact them occasionally if I want the technician to come out again because we have a problem or if I want to change something. But Joe, our guy in Cape, is great. We only have them spray outside and anytime I’ve seen the carpenter ants, I spoke to Terminix about it and we decide if we need to do more or not but it seems to work. I have recommended Terminix to my neighbor and they also get the same guy.

    Terminix had their routine visit recently. We were not in town so we gave them permission to just do the exterior. The Terminix representatives were very good, congenial, and willing to work with us. They call ahead and let us know that we were set up for such a date. And if that didn’t work, they would adjust it accordingly. The technicians have been very professional. I had quite a high activity of spiders, ticks, and other insects and since we've used Terminix, it has dwindled dramatically and certainly to acceptable levels at least every quarter. And because of the plan that we have, Terminix has come out numerous times and on quarterly scheduled times. And it’s always worked well. Overall, our experience has been very good.

    Terminix calls ahead when they’re coming but I just don’t like to have companies schedule four-hour windows. That’s the same with delivery people or anybody else. I hate it when they say, “We’ll be here between 1:00 and 6:00.” I got too much to do to wait around for them to show up. I’d rather have them say, “We’ll be there in 10 minutes.” My time is more valuable than to wait for four hours. But they went after roaches, spiders and rodents.We still have problems but they’re killing some stuff.

    I called Terminix to come out last year because I had pests. Everything was good including scheduling the service with them and with the service the technician provided when they came out to the house. But Terminix’s service is awfully expensive.     Terminix was doing mosquito spraying two days ago and it was very good. They started coming to my home last year and now, they do preventive work once a month. They schedule and they email me that they will be coming. It's the same technician that I get and the technician is always nice, friendly and knowledgeable. Also, the pest activity has improved but it's ongoing because it's a house in the woods.

    We're in a new subdivision and our house's only a year old. But there are a lot of dead wood all around and everything is still being built. I noticed black carpenter ants in the house and also spiders which I hate. The ants were by my door wall, front door and were climbing onto my counters on the kitchen. I have tan tiles so I could see them against them very distinctly. I was feeling quite a bit of them and it was getting worst every day.

    So, I called Terminix and the representative told me someone will be here and then someone did come. It was the simplest thing I ever did. The technician was very professional, nice and knowledgeable. He taught me about what carpenter ants do, where they're found, where they go and it proved all true. He knew what he was talking about and he knew that there had been no damage to the house. The treatment wasn’t intrusive and I have not seen a black ant and only one spider in my garage since he's been here but I just wanna keep after it. I’ve set up for Terminix to come out every three months. They just will call me and ask me what works for me. I would recommend them to anyone because it was a very easy and good experience.

    We had a crawl space in the basement that had evidence of critters, either ground squirrel or mice, and it needed to be cleared out. It was a sound decision to spend the money to get that particular issue taken care of. The technician from Terminix did a really masterful job and went above and beyond. It's been a few weeks since that visit and I've been satisfied. They knew exactly what they were looking for and went about fixing our entry points and putting down vapor barriers. We had them come back because we have seen a recurrence of the ants on the kitchen counter, but they said that's almost impossible to totally prevent somewhere that there's an infestation. So, other than that, we haven't seen any other activity. I will continue using them for the time being.

    Jeff is the guy from Terminix who does most of our termite work or pest control monthly. He is very professional, does a great job and thorough with everything and if I had to, I’d recommend him for a raise. He hits my thresholds front and back. He’s in and out. He’s over and above. He’s probably the best thing you got in sales in this part of the country. I started 20 years ago with somebody else and Terminix bought that company three years ago and took over. It was kind of bumpy to begin with, but it’s all gotten better. And now that Jeff’s on it, then I’m happy as a pig.

    I asked for a second service for the year and it was Morgan who came out and checked all my termite traps. There was two that we could hardly see, but he knew right where they’d be. Then I showed him one because I put a greenhouse over one. I want to make sure because it happened to be in an area that I had some termites seven years ago. And everything’s wonderful. The termite control was great. I’ve also talked to their lady rep three months ago when I got my bill. It’s been $40 a month for all these years then all of a sudden, it changed and nobody could tell me why. But they fixed it and that was great. I’m satisfied overall with Terminix.

    I live in the country and I get all kinds of stuff coming in the house. I'm thankful we don't have that many issues right now but I just want to keep the house clean and get over our pest problems. I've been with Terminix for four months and Mike has been very nice and courteous. The service has been very fast actually. I have ant problems on the actual base of the house where you could actually see them crawl up. I've tried something myself but that never gets rid of them. The technician has sprayed for the ants before but this last time, I thought maybe he will be able to come up with something else. However, I scheduled a follow-up and I haven't gotten anything back from the technician. It’s not that big a deal though. I can just contact them through e-mail and I have his phone number also. In the past, every time I would request something, they’re always out there helping me out. It’s been pretty good.

    I've used Terminix before when I had termites and I was satisfied the first time I used them. It was fabulous with their rep and the guy was here on time. They were excellent and they did a great job and took care of the problem. I never had the problem again. This time, I'm still satisfied but not as satisfied as I was the first time because I was very satisfied with the people that go out and do whatever needs to be done. I have a service for a year that I pay for and then if I have any type of problem with that particular item that I first called them for, they will go back as many times as necessary to resolve the problem.

    But they've scheduled appointments for me that I never scheduled with them although the man called me first. Then, there have been times when I had an appointment and they didn't show up. It's something going on but that's the only complaint I have about them. Also, I have bats up in the attic and they're not quite as easy to get rid of as other problems. It's a bit tricky but whoever comes gets an A-plus. Even the people that I speak to for the appointments were courteous, they have nice employees. It's a very good experience and I'd recommend them.

    I scheduled an appointment for an estimate to insulate my attic. The estimator cancelled because of the hot weather. It's been many weeks, I've emailed them with no response, so phoned them today. After dealing with their automated system and not being able to choose "attic insulation" I finally got a rep. He asked for my home number and then cut me off. Back to the automated system. On to the wrong dept, transfer to another who sounded like a robot. Finally have an estimator coming after 20 minutes on the phone. This business needs major improvement in the customer service department.

    This is my third year for mosquito control. At first I wasn't sure it was working, but the last two years we are virtually mosquito free!     I've had Terminix come out quarterly to spray for bugs, spiders, hornets, and wasps for five years. The technician is great and we've gotten to know each other really well. He comes out, goes through my house, and then he does the outside. He also asks if I have any problems or questions, he can answer me right then. He doesn't have to go back and check and he's been great.

    The first time I had to call them, I've had the bald-faced hornets. They had started going in my siding at my bedroom window. The only reason I noticed was 'cause I had all this guck on my siding. I called Terminix and they were able to tell me what they thought it was right then because I've never heard of these hornets before. And they came right out and took care of it. I haven't had any since. There was also one time when all of a sudden, I got up one morning and I had these little red ants. I called them, they came right out, sprayed that area and plug stuff around my sink. They said to call them if they get worse but from the time they did it, knock on wood, I've never had any trouble again.

    Terminix comes on a regular basis. They call to tell me when they're going to come and I call them if I don't want them to come that day. I called Terminix last year when the fees went up again. I asked them if this was going to be a standard thing and the rep said, "Probably." I said, "I am 72 years old. When does the senior citizen kick in?" and she said, "About five years ago." I told her that they then probably owe me a couple of free services but she said, "We can't do that" and I just said okay.

    Last week, I called Terminix to come and spray again for spiders, and they did the service. The guy who does the spraying is a fantastic representative for the company. I haven't been out to count spiders, but I saw a couple of webs so I would call them again sometime next week and he'll come out and spray them again. This time of the year is a bad time for spiders.

    When we first started with Terminix, they left a bad taste in my mouth. The last time that they were here to check things out, they’ve done fairly good but before that, the guy came in and I was really dissatisfied. He said, “Well, I’ll have a supervisor call.” and I knew he lied to me. The supervisor never called. Several times they were supposed to come out and they never showed. Once it was raining, I knew they weren’t going to show but they should’ve at least called me on their appointment. They never did that. I had to call back on my appointment.

    Whenever I see bugs, I call the bug guy but the other guy just comes out once a year because they don’t do anything but walk around the house. I had my house flooded. A contractor showed them where I had termites in the wall. I called the termite man and he got his little CSI flashlight out and shined it around the top. He just replaced the sheetrock, said he didn’t see anything wrong with it. I told him it was in the wall. He was really arrogant and finally, I said, “Look partner, you ain’t gonna do nothing.”

    Another thing is that I had a crack in my foundation and it was open. I asked them to put some termite stuff in there. He said, “We just don’t do that stuff when you wanted it. We do it when we need to.” I asked him to leave because of his attitude. He said, “I’ll have my supervisor call you.” But nobody ever called until they want another 300 dollars. I didn’t call.

    It’s raining here every day so I’m having hell with black ants and will probably call a bug man. I’m having hell with them and he told me he may have to come back. But I’m dissatisfied and I won’t recommend them because of the past experience that I’ve had with them. Whenever I call for service, I got to call the 800 number. It’s a round-robin to get to a person that I want to talk to. Back when I was trying to set-up an appointment, I kept on getting these, “Push this, push that, push something else.” Twice, it just went out blank. If they start doing right and get organized, maybe I’ll be satisfied. Terminix is not very dependable. But I’ll stay with them ‘cause I can’t pay the price to get my house completely redone again. They got me over a barrel because I got to pay another $2000 to get my house redone with another company.

    I've been using Terminix since I’ve owned the house and their policy of “you call, they haul” is good. I pay for the year and they come out and part of their package is additional treatments and stuff like that, and that's good value. My mom's here on summers so she uses them more than I do. When she feels something is going on, she’ll call them and they usually come out. They just recently changed technicians and the old guy was really friendly. The new guy’s just as friendly, but he’s still trying to feel us out. Since I've had it, the only big bug is me and they still haven’t killed me so that’s good. Terminix is worth investigating but I'd tell others to shop around ‘cause they may get different deals and strokes.

    My husband had a plan with Terminix when we got married in 1989. He passed away a few years back. But since I’m pleased with the service I’ve gotten from Terminix, I’m not changing anytime soon.     My husband found a big screen TV on the side of the road and it was great at that time. Then a few weeks went by and we discovered it had roaches. That’s the last time we're picking up a TV off the side of the road. Within six to eight months, we were infested. It was pretty ugly. At first, we tried to eliminate them ourselves but there were too many of them. So we called Terminix up.

    David was great and very thorough. He came out twice in two weeks and then he did it one more time just to make sure. He's the nicest guy ever and he even complimented us on a good job trying to get rid of them ourselves 'cause everywhere he looked, he found tons of dead ones, but they were everywhere else. They were underneath the couches and he helped me tip them. Just after the first visit, I saw maybe two live ones. The second time he came out, I waited a week and then I moved the couches and found a handful of dead ones. But after that, I haven't seen one and I'm glad I called Terminix. My neighbor has had the same problem and I've recommended Terminix to her.

    I've got to be honest. I've only been using Terminix about 1 1/2 years, maybe 2-2 1/2. I live in the country back in a woods. Been here for 24 years or more. We've always fought bugs, mice. Not with Terminix. Thing that's impressive, if you have account where they come there every 3 month schedule. If you see or develop any kind of a problem with anything they come out and do it all for free again. They still keep your scheduled visit. I wouldn't live without them now and would recommend them to anyone. In fact I'm getting ready to call them for my son's house for him.     Terminix comes here every couple of weeks for pest control. I spent $800 or $900 for a contract, but scheduling a service appointment with them is very frustrating. I have to call a 1-800 number and cannot reach anybody locally. Then when I went to have an appointment made, they didn't show up. When I call the 1-800 number and asked for help they sent me to four different places including Tampa, Florida, and some place in Memphis, Tennessee twice. The young ladies that were helping me were polite, but they were not able to help. It went on and on and on and I finally had to get a hold of one of the guys that came here a few weeks ago who helped me out.

    Other than the problems with scheduling and backup and follow-up, the service was quite good. The guys that came here were very professional and very thorough. It's not a gracious job by any means but they go and do it. Pest activity has subsided since having the service. It's an ongoing thing because I live in a heavily wooded area and has to be looked at from week to week.

    I've been a customer of Terminix for years. I've had them on and off and my experience is mostly positive. Their recent service was also good. Al, the serviceman that came here was great. The scheduling was also good. But I had to go through the district manager or the regional manager to get a schedule. I had plenty of contacts with customer service reps and it feels like I am talking to a wall. So I escalated it to a regional manager. He then scheduled it and Al showed up accordingly.     I have been using Terminix on a regular preventative basis for years. It began because of carpenter ants and has progressed to birds in the attic. All has been taken care of by Terminix. Tony is the Terminix technician who services my home. He knows each time the places in the home that need treated and always asks if new problem exists and treats it. If ants continue after initial treatment, he makes return visit until problem is cleared. Return visits are rare and no extra cost.     When I came back from a trip I saw that I had few ants and spiders. I wanted to nip it in the bud before it got to be a problem so I started my services with Terminix. However a week after the initial spray I had to call them back out because I saw a lot more spiders than there was before. At first I freaked out but when I called to have them come back out and spray again, the lady I spoke to told me that could happen. I also asked the guy that came to spray. I said, "Why did I see way more spiders?" He goes, “We sprayed everywhere around and now they’re trying to scavenge to get away from it and not cross it.”

    If they would have said that when they first did it, then I probably wouldn’t have gotten so upset. Other than that, everything was wonderful. They’re very friendly and professional. They tried to make it work, especially the salesperson, so that it was affordable because I was hesitant.     We’ve been with Terminix for about a year and a half now and I don’t have a plan to stop dealing with them anytime soon. Scheduling was easy. They usually give me a reminder in case I forget the schedule so that works out. Then they show up during the time frame that they said they will. The technician who came out gave us good advice on keeping spiders out of the house and about the aphids outside, they did a good job spraying. I've only had two guys who came out during the whole time I’ve had Terminix and they get the job done and they let me know what they did and what I can do to avoid anything. If we have any problems, I let them know and they’ll come right back out with no problems.

    So everything went well with Terminix and it's been a lot better at home since having their service. The only thing we're dealing with now is the spiders, where we can't do anything about it but other than that, we don’t have a termite problem at all now or any bugs coming inside the house. The scheduled visit, every quarter is really helping a lot to keep those bugs away. So I see a difference from when we didn’t have Terminix and now that we have them.

    This last experience we had with Terminix was very good and the man did a good job. He was here right on time, which is unusual not only with Terminix but with everything else I have. Usually, if they say 10:00 to 12:00, they're gonna be here at 5:00 until 12:00. He did two services within a couple of weeks of each other. One was a pest control and then they sprayed for pest control and the other one was to check for termites. They usually call me for scheduling because they know when it has to be then. My pest control is every three months and they do the termite inspection once a year.

    I've had two or three different technicians and I like all but the one that came that one time when I had trouble, I don’t think he knew what he was doing. But mostly they’re very nice and conversational. We usually have a bit of conversation and I learn a little bit about their family usually when they're here. I don’t pry, but I like to know about their family if they want to tell me. Also, since I've had the pest control, it's been fine. There's an occasional spider but that’s about it. They do their job and I'm happy with it.

    I had a problem with ants and Terminix came out about a month ago, which was the first time they had been out. Scheduling was easy and the reps were courteous and very good. They came out when they said they were going to and the technician was really good. It has been an excellent experience. I thought we had to leave the house, but we didn't have to.     I made my initial call for service a few years ago because of mouse problems. It was understood that Terminix would service us every couple of months so it was an unwritten contract. The young lady who answered was courteous and they got someone out to the house right away. Typically, I'm able to find out when the tech is scheduled to come out by going online. I had service technicians who've been incredible, very great, courteous, and considerate because I'm a squirmish person. They have been exemplars. In addition, they call a few days in advance to let me know that I've been scheduled and to remind us to put the pets off.

    The tech always comes inside during the scheduled service to check traps and make sure if they'd been touched. If there was any dead rodent, he takes them out. The tech always explained what he has done. He always asked whether I have any additional concerns without fail and if I've had any other problems since the last visit. I had an ant issue and he had taken care of it with some gel in February but he had to repeat it. He advised me to be sure to call in-between my regular scheduled visits if I was having any problem. That was very helpful. It has been a professional service every visit. We still have a few dead mice in the space above the garage but I live next to a field so that’s to be expected. Overall, the service has been great and I'm extremely satisfied.

    Eight years ago, we had a termite problem and so we called Terminix and they came and did the inspection. We had several people come and we chose Terminix because they seemed to be the most thorough with it.     We had bedbugs and so we had another company come out and sprayed first, but the bedbugs still continued. I've seen Terminix advertised on TV and so I contacted them. The technician came the next day. He texted, called and said he's on his way. He explained what he was going to do and told us that we needed to leave the house for about four hours. He sprayed on the bed rails, around the baseboard, etc. He was very thorough, professional, and a real nice young man. He came out twice and took care of it. After he gave us the final clear, my wife has seen two bedbugs, one on the bed sheet and one on the dresser, that’s all. Then they're supposed to give us the cover, and we haven't received that yet.     I have Terminix come out every three months to spray. They normally send an email for the schedule. When they send me a text telling they will do the service, I can give them a call and change the schedule, so they're flexible. Sometimes, I've had to change it until the three runs out and actually get the service. They’ll come out and do the inside as many times as you need them to, but I only tell them to look once every three months, and then they do the outside and spray for bees.

    They came out one time in my house for pest issues and they were supposed to come back out and they never did it. I had a gentleman come out and he was really friendly, very respectful and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable with him being there. He did the inside and outside of my house more than one time. I still have quite a bit of bees, but there has been a lot of rain this year, so they haven’t been able to spray like they should have. But inside, I never have pests, just ants. I've only had them out for the house that one time and they won’t be changing my plan up or do anything different.     We had a problem with little mice in our 16-year-old house. We had them coming in through our bathroom baseboard and running around our house at night when we're sleeping and it was terrible. It's pretty nerve-wracking when you hear their creepy little noises and it made our life a living hell for a couple of weeks. We called Terminix to schedule a service and we told them the problem and they were here within two days and it was a very positive experience. Also, they reassured us that if we had any problems, they would come on a yearly basis to check out and if we had reoccurring problems, they would come right away.

    So far, it's been really good. They checked the perimeter and the outside of my house. And it was quite a process because there were three people. They blocked everything from outside and any points where anything could come in. They went through and block the siding. They knew what they were doing and what they were looking for. And they pointed out many things to me that I could do to improve and make sure that no other little creatures would come in my house like that. They had me changed the rubber at the bottom of my garage door and it seemed to make a big difference after. They pointed all these things that I had to do myself and I have done all that they couldn’t do.

    And then we had set up traps in our house and we caught two of the mice. The people who worked here checked everything. They went in the attic, the basement and through the whole house, and that’s a fairly large range. Everyone was very polite, professional and clean. They even picked up after themselves and they didn’t leave me a mess or anything. It took a week or so to settle everything down, but they did what they were supposed to do. I was very satisfied with them.

    I stuck with Terminix when I moved because I trust them. The bill I had paid also got paid by the closing cost of the house and then that had been applied but then I had a bill for pest control on the new house and so they just took care of moving the overpayment of one that covered the other side. Scheduling the service went well with the local people.

    The national call center is problematic because they don’t know all the details about the local area and so, for instance, we’ve ended up dealing with brown recluse spiders and that’s a whole different treatment plan here and the national call center was wanting to add extra charges for the follow-up visits that were necessary. But they should have been covered under the local so I just ended up getting a hold of the local contact and they took care of it. So thumbs up on the local people, thumbs down on the national call center.

    The regular pest control has definitely helped the pest activity. The brown recluse, that’s just a battle that’s going to take time. I have yet to hear from anybody that they’ve ever completely gotten rid of them once they’re in there but if we can at least get it manageable so I’m not seeing multiple running around the house every evening, I’ll be a lot happier.

    We’ve been with Terminix for over a year now. We’ve had different technicians who came here and everyone was good. In our territory, it has been the case where a guy would quit and then another guy had to take the job back over. And then Terminix would hire a new guy and he’d quit. The newest guy we got now, he came out twice. Each time that something had come up and I had to call Terminix, they've made a way and made it over within the day to spray for the problem again and do what we needed to be done. They do a good job. The most recent we’ve had them was when the wood bees started again and they sprayed for them. I'm going to call them to spray again.

    A long time ago, we found termites and we were lucky that we knew somebody that could get a hold of Terminix. They did a good job of getting rid of them. It's been in the 80's and that's when they were using the good stuff. They did all around the house and then even into the cement blocks and the basement underneath the crawlspace. They come every year to inspect for pests. They were here already for this year and they didn't find any so it was okay. Overall, I'm very happy and satisfied with them. I'm glad we found them when we did and we're very lucky we had them come.

    I had Terminix years ago and cancelled them. I rehired them to do my service and were very nice to have me back. Went once, I needed them to go back and service me due to an issue and I called 2 weeks. Spoke to a site manager, sales customer service and promise me 3 consecutive days that they would come. NEVER CANCELLED, NEVER SHOWED UP, NEVER CALLED ME TO APOLOGIZE. Terrible terrible service. I called back to cancel service and get refunded. I am still waiting for that as well. It has been a very bad experience and their sales person don't follow up on calls. Customer service does not follow up on calls either, managers are not interested in knowing why they lost a client.. I am very disappointed in them. Very sad.

    When I moved into the place that I’m in, we already had roaches and no one was taking care of it so I just took it into my own hands and had Terminix come out to our home. The customer service part of Terminix is awesome. They were always friendly. But on the last appointment that I had with them, I waited for three weeks and they gave me a $25 discount. When customer service calls the branch, I have to give them 24 hours to call me back and then if they don’t call me back within 24 hours, I have to call them back. I had to call them back today again and finally got me in for July 1st.

    There was this one tech that came before. His name was Rob and I really liked him. He was thorough. Recently, a tech named Christian came out here. He was friendly but seemed like he rushed through. When I asked him if could spray in the bedroom, he told me he didn’t think the bedroom needed to be sprayed. But I’d seen a couple in the bedroom. And I was like, “Huh?” Since the service, pest activity died down a little bit but since they sprayed all that stuff, the roaches moved into a couple of other places, but that’s normal for them to move around because they're not gonna like the spray.

    We moved out to an older house out in the country and never been serviced before. My parents have used Terminix before so we called them and had them come out to spray for about anything you can imagine. Everything has been good so far. They've come out once and we're almost due for the second quarter for them to come out. They're very punctual. They call me and ask me what time works best and I let them know. I've known the technician for a while and we're on a first name basis so I am comfortable with him.

    Pest activity would be slow going. We had some major issues when we moved in here because I gutted the whole place. But after the first time they sprayed, it really went down a lot from seeing anything. They did tell if I saw anything, to contact them and they'd come out and service for free. But I really haven't seen any major issues where I needed to call them at all. So as long as everything keeps going the way it is, we should be in good shape.     Terminix happened to come into my email. I had issues but I've been dealing with those because I bought the Home Defense and things of that nature plus I have the little cube things for that. I was handling them for a period of time, but because the ants were in my kitchen I tried a professional. I just want to get rid of it all together and it would do it if I called a professional but it did not. They've been out the first time and I'm not satisfied with them.

    I was specific about the three primary pests but the issue is still there. The ants were my priority and the reason why I called them.     Terminix would call me and tell me that they’re coming on a day that I’m off but sometimes, they also just end up coming. They’re able to do work outside the house, they’re just not able to get inside and that has been fine for the most part. However, they keep giving me days that they’re scheduled to come out on days that I’m not around and sometimes, it’s an inconvenience because I like to get them inside the house to do exactly what they need to be doing.

    The professionalism of the guy from Terminix who comes out and does what he needs to do is, by far, the best that I’ve seen in a while. He also asks what’s going on, how things are going, and what we have seen. If there are issues and problem areas, he takes care of them. The pest activity in our house has gone down too. A few times, the technician has not been able to get inside the house and we’ve noticed a few of the issues coming back around. We’re getting spiders in the basement more often now.     We were seeing a bunch of bugs roaming around in the house. I called Terminix and a technician did an inspection but didn't do any kind of work initially. I met him at the front door and he told me who he was and what he was looking for. He asked all kinds of questions and after I told him about what was going on and what bugs they were, he came into the house, walked into all of the bedrooms then walked around the house.     I have a problem with the insulation and I’m fine with the Terminix technicians that come out and do the termination and the spray service. The bug technician did everything and since it was raining I rescheduled a time for her to come spray the yard for fleas. But it's the billing that I have an issue with. I went through Terminix three times for them to take payments for the insulation out of my account and three times they screwed it up. Apparently somebody had a miscommunication because they're still telling me that I owe the full amount. I'm at the point where I'm ready to tell them, "Get a vacuum and come suck it out of my attic." All I do is I keep getting automated billing calls from them talking about my account and all they do is make options to pay and that's it.     My only issue with Terminix is that on the first year of our contract, we have the same two people coming but now it's a different person each time. It used to be an older gentleman named Ray and a really pleasant young woman named Lisa. It's always been someone different, but I got to be honest that they've been fine. I prefer the consistency that comes with seeing the same faces that knows the property.

    The last young man who came was very pleasant. He was very informative. He let me know what he was going to do before he did it and he was very efficient. He let me know exactly what he was going to do, which was a little different than some of the other technicians. His preference was to spray outside and not inside the house. As he explained why, it made sense to me and I appreciate his forthrightness. He went in the crawlspace per my request and he did exactly what he said he was going to do. He was friendly and cordial too. I got to say that the pest activity since then has been okay. I've seen a real reduction in spiders. Centipedes are non-existent and ants are not a problem they once were when we first took over the property two and a half years ago.

    I have 2 properties next door to each other. I called and purchased comprehensive pest control for both properties. The first day it was scheduled, the technician came out with the wrong instructions from the company. He could only use aerosol spray for pests in a couple areas of each house. He stated that he was not told about or sent with bait and traps for the properties. As he was spraying, another Terminix technician came out trying to sell me additional services. I do not know what that was about. I was told that the company would follow-up and reschedule so that the service was completed correctly. I received an email that the service was complete, so I had to call the following week to schedule a second attempt. This was scheduled for the next day.

    A few hours later a different technician called and said that he was assigned the job, but was not going to be able to do it because the travel time was too great given where his other appointments were; however, "Don't worry because someone else would be out." The following day, that same technician who had called showed up (apparently no one else could do it). He stated that he was only told to do one of the properties and not sent with enough bait and traps to do the second one.

    I called the national Terminix line immediately and explained the situation. The operator put me on hold while he called the local office, only to inform me that they could not authorize the technician to do both properties and that a third appointment would have to be made. As a consolation, they would also send out a person to inspect the property for termites, mold, etc. This inspector and the 3rd technician were scheduled for the same day at the same time.

    The inspector showed up and said that he inspected the house and it all looked fine. He was completely incompetent because if he had really done an inspection, he would have seen that a sewer line was broken and mold not only present in the standing crawlspace, but more growth was an immediate risk (the plumber was even at the house at the same time he was)! He also did not see any of the damage of known past termites on the back deck. A total wasted gesture on the part of the company. All he wanted to do was sell me more services.

    Later that afternoon the 3rd technician arrived to attempt to complete my original order (5th person from Terminix at my house in 5 days). He was at a property with a known infestation of German cockroaches. He stated that he was only allowed to put out 4 traps for the entire house because he had other jobs to do that day and needed the rest of them. He stated that he was not allowed to put any effort into traps, bait, granules, or spray in the attic, because he did not have a ladder and was not allowed to use mine. He was so lazy that he couldn't even bend down to place the traps. He just threw them in a few random corners of the house.

    The first technician was great and tried to do the best he could, but was not given the correct information from the company. The random Terminix employee that showed up during this first appointment to sell me products had no business being at my house at all. The second technician also tried his best, but was not allowed to do more work and the company would not authorize it even though there was a clear contract for both properties. The inspector and 3rd technician were lazy and/or incompetent.

    I have been using Terminix for years, but no more. I am done with this company in this area. I do not have time to fool with such blatant mismanagement and incompetence--especially for the price that this company charges for the services. As a owner of 12 properties in the area and in circles of other property landlords, I will also be talking with my colleagues about this experience. I highly recommend choosing another company--at least in the Atlanta-Stone Mountain/Dekalb County area.

    I had contacted two other reputable pest control companies, but neither one does anything with moths, and the second one said he only did it once or twice. So, I called Terminix, spoke to somebody in Texas who set up an appointment for a technician. She was excellent. I took the year program and they've came once so they will be coming two more times. The only thing I would question is that I never got any paperwork. I got the bill for the first one, but I didn't get any documentation about the other two times that they were supposed to come.

    Eric, the technician, was not supposed to be the one that actually would come and he was just taking someone else's place. But when he came, he was very positive and easy to communicate with. He was really good. They went through the house, and we showed them the room where we spend the most time in and seems to be quite a few coming in there. I had already purchased more of the traps, cedar hangers, and moth balls. He went with the spray that they use and put that in some sections. He put the female moth traps around the house. And he also went around on the foundation and did that. We continue to have moths, but not as often and it has decreased.

    I originally called Terminix about seeing spiders. The scheduling worked fine and they were cooperative. They were able to accommodate and get somebody out fairly quickly so I didn't have any problem with that. When a gentleman came, he had a can of spray for ants. I told him the problem was with the spider and not ants but he said, “Well, this will do. This will take care of everything.” So, he sprayed the kitchen and the bathrooms. Three days later, I started seeing big ants, these are carpenter ants and I never had those before. We never had ants in the house. Then I saw another ant two days later, then my husband saw one in his bathroom.

    So I called Terminix again and a few days later they sent out another gentleman. I explained the problem and he sprayed the kitchen and both bathrooms and he said, “I will treat outside to see if I can find the ant colony. He came back and told my husband that he saw it but the ants were coming from next door. They’re coming across the drive but he treated the hole outside. This morning I saw ants by the back door but not a big one. And then, I saw a big one in one of the bathrooms the other day. But I haven't seen any since and maybe it was just one ant that got in. But the second gentleman sprayed around the windows and the baseboards so I’m hoping that it’s been taken care of. If I see any more, I certainly will call Terminix to come out and treat again.

    Both of the gentlemen who came were very friendly and informative. The first one told me I need to cover my sump pump because the ants and spiders will come up through that. He also told me where I could find the cover for it. Then the second guy came back to report what he saw and that he did treat the hole outside around the foundation of the house. I just was thrown off by, “Okay, this spray will work,” but it brought ants. It was supposed to take care of ants and spiders. In general, Terminix a very good company. The scheduling people have been very cooperative and got me appointments quickly if I needed it. I would recommend it to my friends and my family.

    The Terminix people were here on time, did their job professionally, explained everything that they had to do and made it easier that I didn’t have to leave the house because I’m on my oxygen. I wish I let them do everything they needed to do, but because of my asthma, I can’t have much chemicals so they made it where I could stay in our home. I still see the pests but not as much. Terminix comes out every three months so I’ve been trying to stay on top of it. That way I can minimize the pests and that works better. So the more Terminix comes, the better to eliminate the pests. I wish I had it done sooner. I would recommend Terminix to someone else if they needed them.

    Terminix comes to our home and they always do a fine job. The last time, they left a message stating that we needed to clear some trees and brush around our house, which was a good idea and which my husband did it. It's been a week since my husband did that and it opened up some areas. Terminix lets us know when they're coming and tells us to tie up the dog if we have one. We don't have a dog so it's been okay. The technicians are very friendly and nice people. However, since their service, we still have spiders in our home and we occasionally get little bitty ants that they don't seem to know what to do with. They're the most stubborn little baby ants I ever saw. Otherwise, it's been pretty positive.

    We've been dealing with Terminix about a year out here in the village. Overall, they have been real good. Scheduling was easy and they keep their appointment up and then the technician comes out in that timeframe. It’s the fifth time that they came right out. They’ve been coming out every two weeks to try to get a grip on the situation. They discussed to me what they're doing and how they're going to go about to solve the problem. They showed up on time and they’ve been professional. The roaches have been declining some, but they're still kind of hatching out but they're trying to get them knocked down.     Terminix does termite inspections around the house. I’ve had them for years and they’re on an automatic schedule. Before they come, they email me, call me and leave me a note on the door. Then they come in and take care of everything. They got rid of the termites I've had inside the house. They also did some spider spraying and have done a good job. I'm thinking of going back to them for mosquito control after not being as happy with TruGreen as I was with them. My technician is fantastic because he usually answers any questions and is very informed about what he’s supposed to be doing. I’m very happy with them.

    Terminix found termites in my house and they were able to put up bait stations and spray special termite killing thing. I don't have termites anymore, so that's awesome. I also have a regular maintenance plan with them because we started getting ants in the house. In this plan, they come quarterly and now, I don't have any insects anywhere.

    When scheduling services, I schedule the initial services but they always schedule the follow-ups. They tell me when the technician is coming out and when I set up the schedule they were quick and responsive and came immediately. And the dates in the windows that they have sent me for follow-ups have all been agreeable. They picked small windows and not the whole sit home all day and "we'll come at some magical time". They tell me within a two-hour window who's coming. And the tech always calls beforehand, so I’m informed. I've had three or four technicians who have come out and they've all been very, very knowledgeable, friendly, polite and professional. I would highly recommend them. Overall, the Terminix people get the job done and they care about their customers.

    Terminix came to spray for bed bugs in my mother's home. My mother said the technician was great. But it's only been a couple of weeks now and we still have them. I was not told I had to call them to reschedule another spray even though they told me that they were going to do it every two weeks up to three months. So I had to call them today because my mother said the bug was worse than ever. They need to make it clearer to people that you have to call to have them come back.     I've used Terminix for a couple of years now and I'm pretty happy with it. They come out to spray quarterly and there has been no bugs in my house. They have the sprays scheduled and they let me know when they’re coming through email. And I've gotten some calls to let me know when the technician is on his way.     We’ve got an ant and spider problem, but it's mainly ants. And our neighbor has used Terminix before and recommended them, so I gave them a call to have them come out and check for ants.     I got 15 phone calls from people all over the country and was very much excited that we signed up with Terminix. However, it took two weeks to get somebody out here. I'm actually about 35 miles from Louisville, but yet they brought somebody from another facility that was about 70 miles west up here. Once we had everything, he came out and we had the termite inspection from one lady. Then a week later, a technician came to actually do the spraying and left. We did that but we still had numerous ants. With all the rain, the gentleman couldn't spray outside. He said they usually spray up a foot on the foundation and out a foot onto the grass. He didn't want to do that because we were supposed to get rain again for the next couple of days and couldn't be out the following week. He will just let me know and leave a note when he's out.

    Two weeks went by and I haven't seen anything. I called and it was a little tough to even get a hold of anybody. But he finally came back. Now, it's been about two weeks and we see the ants start to really dissipate and I'm not seeing the dead ones around. I had ants through a light fixture in the ceiling in our second bathroom and the last time he was out, my wife said that he even sprayed something up in around that electrical outlet. Then, it's been much better. I set up for this three-month follow-up. I'm curious to see how that's going to go. But when they're here, it was a great experience. They're very pleasant and very professional.

    I recently set up Terminix to deal with the termites, external bugs and mosquitoes in our house and it’s been a very good experience.     We've had the service from Terminix for more than 10 years, and this time of year, it's for spiders more than anything else. We did have a flea problem once and they came out right away and got the job done which we really appreciated. We recently had our regular scheduled treatment from Terminix and they email me when they're coming. Although we are not here often when they come, we haven't had problems and they're very professional and personable as well. Also, the pest activity has been kept at the minimum.     I own some properties in the city of Chicago. I had been using Terminix on a regular basis to come once a month and been paying the monthly charge. I thought it had been to prevent both termites but also rodents. I found out recently that they had not been their job at all! I had another service come and they found that even though Terminix had come a couple days previous, there was nothing in the traps. They found that nothing had actually been done given the damage to the property.

    I tried to call Terminix to see if there was a way to get a refund. They bounced me around and their person who came to do the job claimed there was no guarantee for satisfaction and laughed at my suggestion of a refund for service. I will never use Terminix again and would recommend no one ever use them. The quality given all the different franchise locations is just incredibly poor. There is no accountability. They take your money and claim that it cannot be proven that they have not done their job.

    We have a program with Terminix wherein they come two or three times a year for general pest control. And they also come four times a year for mosquito control. I started the service right when we bought our two homes, and we’ve not had any problems with pest control or pests at all since then. We have Terminix service at two homes and they do the same thing. They come, check all the external points of entry for any type of insect or vermin to get in, spray, and then send me an electronic copy of what they did and the results. They also leave a paper copy, which is not necessary but they still do it.

    They let me know with three notices – two on text, which is two days in advance, the day before, and then they text me when the technician’s coming. We have the same technician here in Michigan and he’s pretty friendly, while there’s two technicians in Florida, where one does the routine stuff and then the other one comes once a year and does the termite inspection. Terminix does a very professional job and they’re worth the money I spend to protect my homes. And I have recommended them.

    I used Terminix 10 years ago in my personal home. We did it before we actually moved in. I used Terminix this time around on this investment property only because of my experience in the past with them, was a good experience. We recently had our tenth termite fumigation done. The technician came in, did what they had to do and left. There were no delays, no hiccups. It was done with precision and when the tenants got home, there was stuff on the ground that they had to clean up, which indicated that it did the trick. My only issue was with scheduling the service. I contacted the toll-free number and I scheduled it for a particular day. That day was perfect because the tenants of the house were leaving the town on a personal trip and so, the house was empty.

    The day before, I contacted the local office, for the bags, for the tenants so they can put their food in and the local reps said, “No. You’re not scheduled for tomorrow.” I explained to him, “Well, I spoke to the 1800 number. They scheduled it for tomorrow. Because again, the tenants were moving out or were leaving and I had the weekend basically to myself with the house.” The fact that they gave me an okay for that particular day, left me with the assurance that it was going to be done that particular day. And they didn’t offer me anything. I asked them, “Who’s gonna compensate me?” And I didn’t get an answer because he said, “Well you know, you should have called me because I’m local and we do our own scheduling.”

    We had to reschedule because corporate didn’t tell local that it was being scheduled for the particular day and local basically told me that corporate didn’t know what their schedule was. It ended up costing me another $400 because I had to reschedule for the following week which meant that I had to put the tenants in a hotel. Terminix needs to improve the connection between their 800 number and the local office. Other than that, I’m satisfied with them.

    I have regular service from Terminix to keep the bugs out of the house and they usually come on the first of every month. They usually contact me to say when they're coming. I scheduled for mosquito control and they made the appointment and sent the email stating that they're coming. However, they didn’t show up so I called them and they made another appointment of which they came right on time and did what they’re supposed to do. That happens sometimes but I was surprised when the representative said she doesn’t see where I have an appointment. Other than that, I’m very happy with Terminix and I’ve already recommended them to people.

    Although their pricing is high, it’s right along with everybody else and no higher than the rest. I like their products and the very polite technicians they send out. I’ve had really good luck with all of their techs and never had a bit of problem with them. The guy who came in the last appointment was the one who has come before and he does a good job. It’s great that I don’t have any pest activity in the house since using Terminix. When I have a cobweb in the garage, they make sure they spray a little heavier there because there are some openings where little bitty bugs could get in.

    We called Terminix when we had bees in our siding last year and they got into the house. We had their services all year and the bees disappeared now. Scheduling for the service was very simple. All I have to do is call their number and someone will schedule Dan, our technician, for me. He is a wonderful and very respectful young man and he wears booties on his feet when he comes inside. He’s usually always on time and even this time I was concerned because it was supposed to be between 8:00 and 12:00, and 11:30 came, but I hadn’t heard from him. Then he called me to let me know that he was running late, so I really appreciated that.

    We saw a random little spider and a cockroach here and figured it was time for a spray. We made the phone call to Terminix's call center office at 56th here in Tampa and their rep was great. She even asked if there was anything else she could help me with. We’ve had great service from them. They said that the tech would arrive between 10 am and noon and he came right in the middle of that.     Terminix came out to do their annual inspection beginning of May and they found a little mold. I contracted to do some molds, some new vents in the crawlspace, and new vapor barrier. The technician came out and the inspection was very thorough. I signed the contract with the salesman on the front porch for $2469. Later that day, I received an email which was a 21-page document and the salesman explained it would be 90 days same as cash. I glanced through all the finances to make sure it was all the same as he had said and, of course, it was not.

    It said that I agreed to pay $400 and interest fees because I was making two years’ worth of $100 a month payments. I called the salesman and said that it was not what we agreed to, and he said that he will call the office and make sure I'll get a copy. He didn't do that. So the next day we called again and he sent it the next day. About a week and a half later, I get three bills from Terminix for another $500 or $600 worth of stuff, plus a letter from SMAC. They wanted $2400 plus a service fee. I only owed $2000, never agreed to the service fee nor the $400 from them. So, I called Terminix to ask about it and the gentleman said that my bill has been paid in full and that I don't owe them any money. I said that that is not accurate and that I owe them $2000. He kept telling me that I can throw my bills away, and I asked him if he could send me a letter based on the information that he is telling me. He, however, didn't.

    I called again several days later, got a girl on the phone, and she was just rude. I asked to speak to her manager but she said no. She also would not give me the number of the local Terminix office. That is the dumbest thing I had ever heard. I hung up on her and I called my salesman again. I know they had already done the work and he was out of the picture, but he was my only phone number for Terminix. He told me to wait because he was still talking to his boss on the phone, which was another push-off. He called me back and told me that his boss told him it's 90 days same as cash and to throw the extra bills away. He told me that somebody in the office did not credit my deposit that I originally gave them which totaled up to $464. They didn't file it correctly and were still billing me for it. I wasn't looking for them to take some off of my bill, it was just annoying that I spent hours on the phone calling this one and that.

Their reps and technicians were both super nice, friendly, and helpful. They also answered our questions and I didn’t feel that they were rushing. I had a very good experience with the company.     Several years ago, we had some windows replaced and one of the windows we took out was full of carpenter ants. They were coming from the left side of our house in the back and seemed to have a nest there. Terminix ended up getting those all out.We also have the termites’ hive where we found that we had termites in one of the trees we had cut down so they've been keeping an eye on that as well.

    I hardly ever see the technicians because I work during the day. The last time I saw them was in March when they wanted to know whether we had any issues. I said everything seemed to be fine. He said okay and was gonna spray the outside of the house and said everything was all set when he left. In terms of scheduling, I just go by with when they say they're gonna be here because there's someone home all the time. I like the fact that they come when they have to and they've been keeping up with whatever problems we're having. Since our last service, we haven't had any problems any more. I haven't seen anything, not even a hair of any of the ants or termites. There's no indication of them being here and we haven't found them anywhere. We've had good luck with Terminix and have been very satisfied with them.

    I don’t like bugs in my house. We had quite a few spiders in our old house, and when we moved to our new house, we had stink bugs. It's been easy to schedule a service from Terminix at a time that works for us since we started with them last fall. However, if we need to have somebody come back out because we’ve seen a spider or something like that, scheduling has been a little bit more difficult and challenging. It took me two times reaching out to them to finally get somebody to call me back to make that appointment.

    The latest service that we had was with Bill. He's always been super nice and he listens to what we're telling him. He came out on a regularly scheduled visit and he sprayed and did what he needed to do around here. The last time he came out, we had seen a couple of spiders downstairs in my daughter’s room and he had sprayed for that. But then a week later, my daughter saw a couple more spiders in her bathroom.     We had an older home when we first got Terminix, and then once we moved to a newer home, we just continued the service. We haven’t had issues once we’ve moved to the new home. Terminix does quarterly visits for us. If we have any other issues, we’d call. So in between the three months, if we see cockroaches or a lot of spiders, we’ll give them a call and schedule an additional service. And in the years that we’ve had them, we’ve only done that twice.     A manager called and fixed the billing situation. The billing department is still behind and members of staff at the SMAC billing department continue to be rude or oblivious. I genuinely feel that this company, if being rated without considering SMAC would revive a 4 or 5 star rating. The SMAC billing company brings their overall rating way down. Again, I've still had nothing but positive encounters with Termenix staff.

    I had termites so I contacted a couple of companies to come and take a look. Terminix's sales rep looked around and gave me a plan of what they would do as compared to what the other companies would do. While in the process, he also told me that I need insulation of my attic. He offered me a deal to match the other companies' prices. I signed up for them and he set everything up to be financed and because he was matching the other companies' prices, it couldn't go in through their system. It has to go in through papers that he had. About a week after they put the insulation in and they had already done the initial termites extermination I then received a bill saying that I had to pay immediately for everything all at once. Nothing was being financed like what the rep told me and they wanted all of this money.

    I told them about what the rep financed and that they were charging me way more than I was told. So, they tried to figure out what was going on a little bit. They wouldn’t call my sales rep. I told them that if they are going to charge me all of it upfront then I don’t want the service anymore. They were going to have me maintain it for a year of service so I said that I don’t want it and I want it cancelled. The customer rep said that I have to talk to someone at the main company about cancelling the service so I hung up and waited for them to call me back from the main cancellation department. The next day I called the sales rep to say that they were trying to charge me all of those. He told me that he'll take care of it and get back to me. He told me not to pay the payout and that they will keep doing the once a month service and they'll take it out like it’s already set up to autocharge on my bank account.

    I never got any call back from the main company and from my sales rep. Also, they were not taking money out of my account and nobody has called me to tell me that my service has been cancelled. It was confusing. Since I had their service, I started seeing some dead bugs which I had never seen before so that was working. I hadn’t seen any termite activity since they did the drilling. They also treated my house for ants. During the first three weeks after treatment, I saw way more ants. Now, I still have ants but not a whole lot and I’ve also seen less silverfish. So, less pests. They haven’t treated since April and they were supposed to do a once a month check. Overall, I would never recommend them. But, the people who put in my insulation and every person that came to my home was awesome. I recommend every one of those people. The main company needs to get their stuff together.

    We had a problem with ants and Terminix came in and took care of it for us. The first technician that came out did the initial service but in a week or two later, we still saw a few ants. They came back two or three times to try and help us get rid of all these ants that we got around the house free of charge, which is the best thing because there's another one out there that I was told to stay away from, because they charge every time they come out. Also, their technician is nice and seems fairly knowledgeable on what he's supposed to do. He explains what happened and he explains what he'll do. And if it doesn't work, I can call them and they'll come right back out.

    We recently bought a house so we had Terminix come out for the first time. We had an ant problem and they came to spray for other bugs as well. Scheduling our service was easy. We were able to put in a request and the rep called and scheduled for somebody to come out here. They got back to me within a couple of hours and the techs got here within the week. The tech was able to do the outside and the inside of the house. We also requested for them to do the closet space and he was more than willing to do it. Most of the bugs are gone since the service and we still have ants but they’re not as bad. Overall, Terminix is a great company.

    First - I find it amusing that when reading the reviews on this page - The only complaints that Terminix responded to are the Positive ones. Never a response to the negative comments. That being said, my complaining stems from an unauthorized charge on my Credit Card. I hired them to address some issues with my elderly mother's home in Louisville, KY. When the contract was started, it was stated that no additional charges would be applied without my authorization. Last week, it was noticed that an additional service call had been added to my card. They cannot produce a signed work order, nor can they provide the details of who called for the service. My mother, who is homebound has stated that no one has been to her home. I have requested a refund of the charge, but have not gotten a response, despite several attempts to reach them.

    I've had Terminix for a long time. I get a text and email when they're coming. The technician, Tony, is friendly, knowledgeable and does a thorough job. He comes when he says he's coming. He's prompt and doesn't dilly dally. Most of his customers are at ease and he represents the company well. He listens to me if I ever have anything to say and he has positive suggestions.     Terminix is very pricey. We had the ants with wings in our Framingham home so Terminix came out to service it. And then all of a sudden I saw this billed at $99 which was ridiculous. The price is sky high for us. So I had asked for somebody to call me back to see if they could adjust our fee. I didn't realize my husband was paying so much money every quarter. My husband and I are not working and we have two homes. We also use Terminix in Maine but the cost there was $72. I had to call them back to see if they got an adjustment and the woman from Terminix said that they'll knock it off the last bill. But that wasn't the point because we wanted the price to be reduced. They were only able to knock $25 off of the total every quarter. I also want to drop some of the services since we're only in our house for three more weeks. I don't want them spraying any of the shrubs or trees. I just want them to do the regular pest control.

    I'm still seeing some flying ants after the service but they're coming in dead. Also, I have a bee's nest in front of the house and I'm getting bees in my house. I called Terminix a few days ago but nobody came out yet to take it down. And back at our house in Maine, the person didn't come the month that he was supposed to because he said our account was suspended. My husband called and it was not suspended. We ended up with an influx of ants all over the place. It took us weeks to get rid of them and we were not happy about that.

    Terminix is doing good work for me. Recently, they came out and sprayed the inside of my house for pests. Scheduling was a little bit difficult though especially through the office. My wife called and they wanted to give her a third degree about why we needed to be serviced instead of just setting it up with our technician. But once the technician came everything was fine. He came, did what he needed to do and did a good job. So we're very pleased with that. And the technician has been our serviceman for quite a while and so we know each other. I enjoy talking with him and now he’s our friend. Since the service, I've had not any pests. So the service and the chemicals they're using are working.     It rained heavily and we had a problem with roaches from the flood. We called Terminix and the next day they sent someone out to do their treatment. They had a free home inspection, which was great because I didn’t want to pay to have them tell me that there are no termites, but I have roaches. The service was affordable, too. They had an upgrade promotion going on at that time. It was $100 off for a six-month period, so it's around $140 for six months. The technician they sent was a great, charismatic dude. He moved around the house, talked to us, and explained some things. He was open to us asking questions. They put some traps out and a chute around the house.

    There was a significant decrease, but like he told us, more will come before it gets lower, which did happen. More came out because of the bait, but then it just dropped off. We're looking for a second treatment. They said that we can call them as many times as we need to in six months, but I just haven’t been able to pay them because I can't see my account. I tried to type my account information and it doesn’t come up. So, I'm gonna call them today so I can pay them to do so. They're really good and professional. They work efficiently. And he said it wasn’t just our house. A lot of homes on our street actually had the exact same issue and everyone called Terminix, so they must be very popular.

    I have an active Terminix contract with one of the CT branches. I have recently discovered active termite activity and scheduled a technician who came out and confirmed the activity. He stated he would discuss the activity with his branch manager and contact me the following week. That was on Thurs, June 1, 2017. It is now Monday, June 12 and I have not had any communication from Terminix despite 3 phone calls to the customer service dept. I am extremely disappointed with the CT branches of Terminix and plan to report this to the State of CT Dept. of Consumer Affairs.

    Terminix comes out on a regular basis for multiple things. We get the house sprayed inside and out quarterly and we also had some critters up in our attic so we've got the exclusions and termites. The pests are under control now for the most parts. They usually come when they say they're going to. However, they don't call the night before or something to confirm the quarterly pest control. But their technicians are always nice and courteous, and the cost is reasonable. We've been pleased with them.

    I'm having issues with bed bugs. The initial Terminix local branch called me to verify the schedule and then I told them I couldn't to do it until 3 in the afternoon. Whoever is in charge of the scheduling at that specific location called back and scheduled what I need. But if I call the 1-800 number, they couldn't care less and they don't pay attention to what I'm saying. They scheduled me for 10 in the morning, so I had to call and cancel. They came out but not at that time frame I requested. They had ideas of changing.

    They also didn't do the initial treatment properly, so I had to have them come out four times. The first time they did it, the technician left my furniture upside down which they're supposed to put everything back the way they find it and the technician did not. They would address the questions that I have but they wouldn't tell me what they're going to do and what they've done when they're finished unless I ask. In addition, they use the same method of treatment every single time. If the method is not working, they should change the method on how it's done. I also don't know if they did heat treatment because I asked and they didn't respond.

    I've heard that they're very good for ants and cockroaches problems, but I don't know if I'd recommend them for bed bugs. They told me I'd be bed bug-free a couple of weeks. I don't know if they've gotten rid of it because I'm having some allergy issues too so I'm not sure if it's bed bugs or allergy due to pesticide. They're also telling me that they don't see the bed bugs coming out, but the little baby ones you can't see. They're looking for evidence on the outside of the bed which they won't find. If you have mattress covers on the bed, the bugs do not stay on the mattress, they go back to wherever they're hiding. On the other hand, they're trying to take care of it. They've changed their method when they came out.

    I've had nothing but bad experiences with Terminix. They're supposed to come in and put the insulation in our house. I called the main office and they said that they were going to send an email out to the branch manager here in my town. But I still haven't heard anything so I'm just going to cancel the insulation and have someone else come and do it. I've had wasp nest up in my attic and I still have spiders. I can do a better service myself if I wanted to. Then the communication is awful with them and it's so hard to get anybody locally. They just call a day ahead of time that they'll come out. Usually, it's like a week advance that they let me know when they're coming. It's frustrating. But the technicians are wonderful and awesome. I can tell that they don't even know what's going on. So, I don't bother complaining to them because it's not their fault. They're just doing their job.

    The Terminix techs come on a quarterly basis and they always do a good job. We get a call from them for about five days in advance to tell me if they’re going to be at our house between 8 and 10 and they’re usually punctual. The techs are fine but they've changed quite a bit. They move to different territories and we also seem to have different ones quite often but they’re all very friendly and nice so it's not a problem. Overall, they get the job done and everything seemed to be under control since I've had their service. They spray around the outside for insects and bugs, especially in the summertime. And we have traps for mice in the basements. We make sure we don't have any mice in the wintertime when it's humid in the basements. I’d recommend Terminix.

    Terminix sprays the outside of the house and it keeps the bugs out. They come out when they’re supposed to and the guys that have come out have always been nice and friendly so it’s a matter of watching the price. They overcharge and that is my only concern. The gentleman that comes out and sprays tells me that the spray they put on is good for six months. So I don't need them to come out here every three months. And he’s not the only one that said it. I called another company that says, “We only spray once a year. We will come out in May and spray for a certain price and that is it for the year and you’re good to go.” It’s the same product and if you put it down in May and you figure it out, by the time the six months is up, you’re hitting a winner. You’re not going to have bugs crawling on the ground.

    And Terminix bumped me from $80 to $85 a quarter. I let it go this time but I told the gentleman a long time ago that I only need them to come here once a year. He gives me this story. "Well, we got people working for us and to keep them working, they need to come out every quarter. Could you do us a favor there?” I need them once a year in May when the earwigs season starts. That’s when the weather starts getting hot and they will go on through the summer. We had a problem with them and that’s how we ended up with Terminix. I agreed to pay them $75 and have them come out every quarter. That’s $300. I could drop them right now, call a competitor and he’ll do it one time and be good to go for the year for $160.

    And I’m sure if I dropped Terminix and called them up again next spring around May and say, “Hey, I want to start back up”, they’re going to start me at $160 on the first spray. But that’s all I need. It’s good for six months. I’m doing Terminix a favor by allowing them to come out and their guy to come out and spray every three months so that he has a steady job and so forth. And I don’t mind paying the $75 and then they bumped it up to $80 and I accepted that. But now they’re bumping it a second time. It gets to a point where they keep bumping it enough, then I will go elsewhere.

    We don’t have any bug problems at all. Terminix comes out and sprays around. They also give me plenty of time to pay the bill. But I don’t appreciate that they keep bumping up the price $5 each time they spray so they’re coming out four times and that’s adding up. I just got a notice from them that they’re bumping it again and I’d rather they just held the price for a longer period, maybe another year or two before they do that.

    Terminix comes quarterly and I've been very happy with them. They let me know by postcard and phone call when they're coming then they send the same lady each time. She's wonderful, knowledgeable, addresses any questions that I have, and has good suggestions. I trust her and love her dearly. I've been with Terminix for about 45 years. They got rid of shake shingles and that ended a lot of my problems with silverfish and desks with spiders, so I'm a happy camper. They also came this week to talk to me about changing my termite protection to a different system.
