    I have termite protection with Terminix and a technician does a once a year inspection. The last guy was very professional and did a very good job. Now, they sent someone out here about a month earlier. I was here when he came. It was not by appointment and he just showed up. I was under the weather and I asked him to reschedule. He told me he couldn't do that and that I would have to call and take care of it. He wasn’t the regular man. The regular guy was off that day and somebody just popped up on the computer so that wasn’t very good.

    I called Terminix and told them what happened. The regular man was very professional. He told me some stuff that no one had ever told me before. The previous people came out, they looked around the outside and some of them, that was all they wanted to do and just left. They were supposed to come inside and inspect but not all of them would do that. Over the years, it’s a different person. Sometimes there’s a 20-year-old, sometimes there’s a 40-year-old.

    Now that I know what is proper, I will see to it that the technicians do what they’re supposed to. Some of them may be on a schedule and they speed it up. They go through the quick motions of looking around the outside. I let them cut two panels out of my walls about 10 years ago when they first started coming so they can inspect the area under the bathtubs. There would be times I’d tell them to come in to check inside. But they don’t have the info properly on the computer telling them that there are two bathtubs to look under.

    The last guy that came was the best one I’ve ever had. He told me not only do you look under your bathtubs, you look under every cabinet where water comes into the house, everywhere there’s a faucet. They have to check that because termites have to come to the water to make their nest. So the only place they usually find water is maybe in the sink or in your bath. Now I know what they’re supposed to check.

    My house is 30 years old and I’ve never had a termite problem. It was originally serviced by another company when I built the house and back then, they used that green stuff called chlordane. It was very strong and was eventually outlawed by the EPA. It worked great though because I never had a termite. I had a few problems with the other company not coming out regularly like they were supposed to. They missed a year, I noticed in my records because I kept a record of where I paid them. It didn’t cost me anything that year. About 10 years ago I changed over to Terminix. They take the burden off the inspector. All they have to do is come out. They do a collection through the mail with me and I just pay it online. All that other stuff is good and I would recommend them based on the current stuff.

    Terminix usually calls me for service and tells me when they’re going to be there. I live in Nashville and I have to go to Mt. Juliet. I have to be there to open when they have to go inside. If I don’t have to be there, they do the outside. They did the inside of my house and around it recently, before or after Christmas. The nicest fella came out. He was an elderly man and he’s been doing that house for years. He goes in the house and all around and that’s good.

    When I had a really bad problem with wasps one time, he came back because he always sprayed. I had two lunch brown bags hanging from my flag pole. He asked what I was serving lunch out here. I told him that I had put the bags up there that if I filled them fully, the wasps won’t come to them because they'd think it’s an insect that a little stronger than them. I haven’t had a wasp up there since he sprayed. I would highly recommend Terminix. They are good people and they work. If I tell them anything that needs to be done, they’ll do it while they’re there. I live up there by the lake and there's no mice, bugs, and spiders even.

    I have Terminix come every three months and they worked for me. It's something that I don't have to deal with and it's fine. They know when they're coming and they'd let me know. I've had the same guy for years and he used to call me from his home the night before because sometimes, they call me up and tell me what time it is but he has his own schedule. I got a new guy now and he didn't do that but it doesn't matter to me. I have a gate that's open so he can just come here. He's been fine too.

    I pay quarterly after they come but I called back a while ago because the fee kept going up and they said it would stay at $50. I'm a senior and I have limited income. Recently, they raised it up a couple of dollars and I don't mind a couple of extra dollars but I don't want it to keep going up like it did before. Otherwise, I'm perfectly happy with Terminix. I've been having them for years and before, we used to have awful trouble inside the house. At that time, my daughter and my grandchildren were living here and I didn't want any sprays in the house. But since they started spraying outside to keep down the ants and water bugs, it has been fine. Every once in a while, ants will come in like in the Spring and if I'm watering outside, the ants will start coming around the edge. But I call the guy then he sprays again and they're taken care of.

    I have quarterly appointments with Terminix and I'm pleased with it. They send me an email or text to remind me when my quarterly services are due. They also call me and I give them a couple of dates and we decide on the schedule. The reps answered any questions I had. The technician is pretty thorough and he also answers my questions and tells us what he's doing and how he's doing it, and if I need anything else.

    Terminix comes out quarterly and it’s set up automatically. They send me an email and a text message to remind me it’s coming. Most of the spraying is done outside and if I’m not here, they send me an email on what the technician found and did or didn’t do. I've been through three technicians this year and I haven't had any problems with any of them. Terminix also comes out if I need them to do something. There’s no preventative measure for airborne termites and when I had to have the house tented, I had a termite problem. Everything has been fine except for some of the experience and the follow-up stuff that was done when the house was tented. From that experience this year, I found out they seemed to be high in their pricing. But other than that, everything else is okay.

    We're on a scheduled quarterly service with Terminix. Recently, they came for the spray of the house. I made sure the back gate was unlocked so they could come and do the spray. And then they left me a text on what they did. Their reps were really good about communication. They gave a heads up of when they were coming and then after service was done, they communicated what was done. Since having the service, we get the occasional spider, but the situation is definitely better than it was prior. Check out Terminix because they’ve worked for us.

    Terminix contacts me to let me know that we’re due to have another annual combo inspection for both the dry wood and the subterranean termites. We check their schedule as well as mine to determine what would be the best day and then they come out and take care of it. They usually come around in January or February, sometimes into March.

    The technicians are very friendly and I’ve always found them to be very competent. They do great work which I know as I was in the plumbing trade for 24 years and I appreciate the extra effort they make to clean up any mess that they might make along the way. The techs themselves are one of the great resources of Terminix and their superior service and attention to detail are one of the reasons why we have been with Terminix. Traditionally, I tell the techs every time they come out what has been done to the house that was indicated in the proceeding job report as to what was needed to be done, and they respond. We've had Terminix since 1995 and they’ve done a great job of keeping termite infestation under control or eradicating it. Also, I have recommended them to a friend.

    Terminix is great and I love them. I like how I'm handled by the guy that's been coming over time. I was with another company before them, and what I like about him that I didn't get with the other company is that he's very thorough. He asks me if there's anything special that he needs to do. I always like to be home when they come, and they call and ask me if I'm here or if I want them to come another time. He's always told me not to hesitate to call anytime I need. There was a couple of techs that Terminix sent before and I didn't like them because they weren't as thorough as he is, so I asked for him. They're there for me, and that's why I've been with them. I pay every three months, and they do such a wonderful job. I will always have them. Even when I move, I'm taking them with me.

    We’ve been using Terminix for years. They’ve maintained everything well and so we don’t have bug problems. The Terminix technician came for our quarterly visit lately. And I received a notification for it. We've been having the same tech. He calls to let us know he has arrived and to see if we need him to come in. He’d let us know upfront about what we need to do if we need him to come inside the home, and he’ll be here to do the perimeter. Terminix does a good job, and I would recommend them.

    We recently had our regular service every three months. The man sprayed outside the house and around the garage. He will be back to do an interior flea treatment in another week or so. He did a good job. He was very friendly, personable, and professional. I was very pleased with everything. We've had no problem with pests since he's been here.     Terminix caters to my normal preventative maintenance. Our services are usually scheduled in advance. And then, they call me the day before and I just confirm that I’m going to be around and what services I need and if there’s anything else I need. It’s simple and straightforward and I don’t have to do too much. The technicians are generally knowledgeable and they’re willing to help out, make extra trips, and I haven’t had a bad experience with any of their techs yet.     I canceled in July ‘cause I moved. I moved into a rented house. I did not get service with Terminix until I filed out on the web them last week. They shot some prices and I said, “This is crazy. I’m not paying this.” Then, about 30 minutes later, someone calls and we tried making a deal, couldn’t do it. Another guy called back a couple of hours later and made a deal with me and we are scheduled for service next week. Prior to my cancellation, I paid them upfront for a year. Everything was good. What I like about Terminix is that they send an email. My guy Juan calls me on the phone and says, “Hey, I just want you to know or text me. Hey, I’m scheduled for service for your place next Tuesday from 8-12,” I say, “No, I can’t do it 8-12. I need after 4.” And then he follows up which is good.

    They also follow-up with an email and then they always follow-up and let you know hey we’re going to be over here, and that’s something new that they just started. That’s very important because I work and even though I can come and go as I want to, what happens so many times, they would all start, "We missed you for your scheduled service". I like my guy. I’m a fanatic. If I can’t be there, I’d text him back and say, “Hey, I’m running late.” “Okay, well, I’ll just do the outside. I’ll come back.” I don’t know if everybody is as good as him, but he really handles his business.

    They work from Monday to Saturday. They would just show up. I’ve got indoor service and outdoor. So, they can do the outside, but what I want is the inside, making sure that they spray for cockroaches and ants and whatever bugs there are. If they missed it, we used to have to reschedule a call, call them up on the phone and call at 800 number where I might get someone who might not get back, but it seems recently, with the heads up, with the text, the calls, and emails it makes the whole experience much better. They do a very good job.

    With our recent experience with Terminix, they called two days before the schedule to be sure and made an appointment. Then, they called before they came and got here in a timely manner. The technician knocked on the door, introduced himself, asked if he could look around on the inside, and put on those little booties. That was nice. And then he said that he was going to finish up his work outside. He looked me in the eye when we talked and he was very polite when he called. He was professional and had good manners. He made sure that I understood what he was going to do and where he was going to do it. We don’t see any bugs so, he’s doing a great job. If I want to schedule a service between their normal trip, I call and ask for an appointment and I get it usually within two days. If I got something that might be an instant issue, they come that day.

    Terminix does routine visit for us and the tech comes out about every month. The tech we have at present time is really nice, takes care of the job and gets it done.     Terminix was here recently for a routine pest control, especially the fire ants. I got an automated call saying they were coming and if I had any questions I could call back.     I have some pests like roaches here in my house and Terminix did very good coming in here. Scheduling the service was good and everything came on time. The reps on the phone were also friendly and very helpful. They told me to call them whenever I needed help and they'll come and they did. They do what they told me they would do and they're very respectful and thorough. Pests are getting a lot less. But if it rains, they still come out.

    The technicians have always been very nice and the reps that I've spoken with on the phone have been very nice as well in the period of less than a year that I've been with Terminix. Recently, I got a call from Terminix that the technicians were coming by to do a treatment of some sort. The techs did a spraying and, afterwards, I was sent a copy of what they did.

    I only get these little, red ants in the spring. There are thousands of them, but they go as quickly as they come, so I won't know until the spring whether there has been a difference or not in pest activity since Terminix did the service. I would definitely recommend Terminix because they came out right away. That was important for me since, at the time, I just wanted them to keep the pests out. I'd tell a friend that Terminijx is a reputable company and to give them a call. But, come the spring, I will be curious to see if my problem has been rectified.

    Terminix is a brand name that can be trusted. I've had dogs for 18 years and never had fleas. And all of a sudden, they had fleas. Bill was my initial contact with Terminix, and he followed up beautifully. He contacted me within three days. And due to some bad weather, we canceled and he told me a gentleman would come through and do the job. Within a week and a half, the fleas were gone. So, I was very impressed with Terminix.

    The representative I spoke with and also the gentleman who came in to do the flea control communicated with me well. The gentleman who came contacted me and told me he was going to be here. I took a walk with my dog. He said the service would be about half an hour and as I'm walking my dog up my driveway, he was setting off. He told me to call him in two weeks if there are any other problems. And I have not had to call. So, it was a very good service. And if my friends would need a bug controller or any kind of pest control, I'd tell them to call Terminix. They will feel good at leaving their home with somebody who is a stranger but is ready to do great service.

    I called the national number, and Terminix was able to schedule somebody locally to come out here the following day. That happened very quickly. Someone came out to do a termite inspection and then someone separately came out to do the actual pest control. The person who did the pest control has been doing it for a long time. He was really friendly and helpful. I haven't seen any of the stuff that we were worried about since they came.

    Terminix does good service and the technicians have been very nice. I have some animals and they have me put them up. They're concerned about them. And we manage to have the treatment to where it doesn't affect the dogs and the cats. And we haven't had any pests since our latest service. The only thing is they come more often than what I normally would think I would need. And every time they come, I have to pay $100, and it keeps going up. I'm thinking I'm putting too much and I'm needing to cut back some cost. Terminix comes for the termite thing twice a year. And then they come for the bug service and things into the house and around the house, too. I'm retired now and just working a couple of days a week, and I was thinking of trying to get just the termite service and I could handle the step for the other bugs myself now that I have more time being home.

    I was having rodent problems, so I had Terminix come out, and they did what they were supposed to do and then I saw improvements. The representatives when I was scheduling were pretty friendly. They always come on time, and they always notify me by sending me a text message to notify me and let me know when they would come in. And when the technician came, he asked me what I wanted to do. And when I told him, he told me the different ways that they can handle the problem and let me decide which one I wanted them to use, and they used it. He walked me through what he was doing, and he did a pretty good job. By the third time that he came out, I started to notice a big difference, like if I had waterbugs and spiders really bad, I no longer see any, and I am happy about that.

    Terminix sprayed for bugs, for roaches, and other pests. And there was just a second call and we found the tech to be very knowledgeable and very informative. I called them when I scheduled the service. Terminix has been terrific and I would recommend them. When they do come out, they explain what they're doing and how the product works, and they talk about how the pests work, and what we should expect after the treatment. I really admire a company that has employees that explain everything. That shows me that the company is putting something into their employees. They're very respectful of the house too. They're very cautious of what they're doing like they put on shoe covers. Their whole attitude and demeanor are very positive. I think pest activity is about gone. Every now and then, we see a little something but we were told to expect that.

    Terminix is doing a very good job. They should continue inner relationship with the customer and make sure their technicians are knowledgeable in the product that they're using.     Dallas came by and he did a full house inspection. We were in the middle of a kind of a disaster in our house and so we got contractors everywhere. There were lots of opening areas so Dallas could look everywhere. We had floors being replaced and so he could see if there was any evidence of any activity. There was zero activity which made me feel good. And I've got trees around my house so those little critters wouldn't have found some interest here. Dallas was very pleasant and thorough. I let him walk around the house and we talked. And he said, thank you and left. He remembered me, too, from last time he had been here.

    The last time, they came in and looked under the skirt of everything. They checked everywhere. We've lived in the house for 39 years.     Our Terminix service is usually every 3 months. We try to be home when the techs are supposed to come but sometimes they'll tell us we don't necessarily need to be. If they need to get access to the inside of the house, they'll let us know that or we can request that. But they mostly do the outside. There's usually two techs that rotate depending on what they were going to do, so we got to know them well and they've all been very good. The only thing I wish is that we would be able to connect a little bit more as far as the inside service. But anytime we've had any issues at all, they've been right there to take care of them right away. We used to get a lot of black ants and centipedes because there's a lot of springs around us but ever since we've been having the services, pest activity is rare and pretty much nil.

    The only other thing is, the cost of service seem to be increasing and getting rather expensive even though it's for three months. We were paying around $111 so it's about $35 a month. The increase is not in large increments, but it's been steadily increasing. So, at some point in time, I'm going to probably check to see what competitors are offering as far as price and stuff is concerned. I'm not unhappy with the service since it's been very, very good. But if I see that there is a major discrepancy between what I'm paying and another company that's reputable then I'll go with them to continue the service I have.

    Things went well with Terminix. Initially, we had some roaches in the house. I called them and they said it would take about a year. Terminix was knowledgeable of what I needed so they were able to send the rep out to take care of the issue we had in the house. Every three months, they came to treat the issue. They were fantastic and did an excellent service. I was also happy that whenever they said they were coming, they came out on time and did the job.     I have Terminix service the property routinely and the only problem I ran into in the beginning was the appointment system. I called the main office and tried to get people to make an appointment. But I had a problem with my setup and miscommunications. Also, sometimes they have courteous reps but then I felt like the other ones were not really going to give me much attention. That aside, my interaction with the technician went well. I had a usual guy in the beginning but he got switched. Now I have one who seems consistent and when I address stuff with him, he takes care of it.

    There are traps that they used that were left, and they don’t work that well but I don’t have a rodent problem anymore. I did have a roach problem but it was very small and it went away. The only issue I have is the spiders but, as I was told, they come regardless. I like the service but I was considering other companies ‘cause the price went up.     Terminix has a very good reputation. We’ve been pleased with them and have no complaints in all the years that we have had them come in here. We had someone come out recently for the yearly checkup. The stuff that they put into the ground and around the house for termites lasts about 10 to 15 years, and we’ve had already over 10 years. And the man said there is a new thing that doesn’t smell, it's not a poison, and it wouldn’t harm us. And we told him we would take it. The tech said if we were free, he would come in two days and he told us what the hours were. And it was very quick when he came, and he was very helpful. He came on a Saturday and he put the stuff around our house and into the ground. And they came and checked and when the level was too low from the termites, they added more of this killer stuff for them. And we were happy with it.     The Terminix guy showed up recently for inspection. He went to look inside the house and put on his little blue slippers then he went outside and told me it looked fine and left. They only come out when I want them to. Usually I go online, find Terminix, give them a call and tell them. They call back to tell me when they're coming out. Their technicians are very courteous, nice and polite. They're prompt, have a good price and if you get the termite deal you get the warranty. If they cause any damage Terminix will take care of it which I have done once. They came out and fixed it all back up better than new. I don’t think anybody else offers that warranty.

    Terminix does a regular quarterly service for us. However. their technician just shows up with no advance notice. So, I would like them to at least let me know a day in advance. I work in Manhattan sometimes, so I can’t be here with just 30 minutes notice. If I knew the day before, I could work from home or make arrangement to have someone here if I wanted the inside sprayed. If I don't, it doesn't make a difference. But the notice is very short. It doesn't always work.

    Their service was preventative so I no longer see spiders for a year or so ago. The pest activities seem to be under control. I would certainly forewarn people if I were to recommend Terminix to make sure you negotiate the price because I almost lost Terminix a year or so ago when I found out that my neighbor was paying $80 less than I do when we have the same exact house and no major pest. I called customer service about it and they matched that price. But for two years I was paying more than my neighbor across the street and it did not thrill me. I almost canceled them.

    We did things over phone calls when Terminix had to schedule a service or if I had to cancel one. The technician that came out was absolutely professional. They sprayed everything but the biggest thing was one of the guys told us to that the bugs come in the fireplace, and so we fired it up which was quite effective. It’s all been good. The guys were nice and asked us before they left it there was anything else they could do for us. We still get some stink bugs but Terminix did a great job. In fact, I recommended them to the neighborhood. They had a neighborhood bulletin that went around and I said that we had the stink bugs.     We found out that our next door neighbor had been using Terminix for several years and we had such fine feedback from them. It was one of the reasons we went with Terminix. And we found them to be very affordable compared with other people in that line of work. They come out quarterly and they usually call us and say that they're going to be in the area on such and such a day. Then, they ask me if that would be available to me. It's basically a yes/no scenario and it's usually a recorded message. And if we have a question about a bill or when might our next scheduling date be, they're very easy to get a hold of.

    We usually have Doug come out and it seems that we've dealt with him practically all of the time that we've been with Terminix. He's always very friendly, knowledgeable, asks us how's everything going or if we have seen anything that we shouldn't be seeing, and he knows where he had set all of the traps and such. Basically, we give him the run of the place. When you're used to the same guy, you feel a little bit more comfortable with letting these people into your house. You can basically go about your business and let them get on with their business, so we're not tripping over each other's heels or anything. After a few times, we've felt comfortable enough with him that we didn't have to sort of hold his hand and follow him around. And he takes care of inside and out as warranted and he's a very, very pleasant gentleman to do business with.

    I used to work in a bank and I found customer service is always the number one goal. To be able to get over that hurdle is always a big thing and to come across as welcoming, knowledgeable, and not trying to get one over on you. And Terminix really does their job. They're very well-trained and they definitely know what to look for, where to look for it, and they spend as much time as they possibly can doing that business because it's their reputation they look out for.

    While renovating our church parsonage, we wanted a quote on termite and rodent prevention/exclusion. Of the firms we consulted, Terminix gave the most thorough service and accurate assessment of our issues. They were one of two who reported rodent activity in the attic, which was totally missed by the others. Terminix even came back a second time to give more substantial evidence of rodent activity in our attic.     At first I thought Terminix was the real deal. Their price was competitive, uniformed technicians showed up on time. I was promised a deal when they spray once for initial treatment and then every three months to maintain. In between, they said, "If you still see roaches, call us and we'll come free of charge as long as it's in between the first three months after treatment." They did come. And the roaches only multiplied. I called several times after the initial treatment, but the problem worsened. When I gave up hope I called them to cancel the service. They convinced me to give it another try, saying they will come every week if I need them to.

    I have given it another go. Every once in a while I have received a text, telling me a technician is on his way. But no one ever showed up This happened not once, but two or three times. I am a stay-at-home-mom. I was home, waiting for them. It didn't happen once but on a steady basis. Text informing of upcoming service, and no show! Lo and behold, I now found out they have been regularly charging my card for service! And not the promised $75 maintenance fee, but $140 at a time! I called to speak to a representative. They would not hear my plea to pull out our recorded initial conversation when they were explaining in detail the promised plan. Nor did I ever agree for them to leave my CC on file.

    In that initial conversation they promised me to charge it only after I sign that the service was performed and my permission was explicitly given. They claim that since their file shows that the technician came, then I must be the liar. To my question of why they don't have my signature to confirm service was performed, they say that since I "was not home" the technician sprayed the outside. I told them that my house is attached on both side and there is no way to reach my yard without me allowing him in. To that they say that it is perfectly okay if he sprayed only what was available. My roach problem is in my kitchen. I explained that, and that the agreement was not for spraying the yard.

    To that representative Michelle, employee number ** replied that If I wanted the kitchen to be sprayed (which is what I booked the service for) I had to make a special request. I have asked to terminate the service from now on. They promised to do so, but refused to send me an email confirmation. Michelle claimed that a letter will be sent by mail only. Which now I have to take their word for. If I could give them no star, I would!

    I schedule online and then Terminix calls and verifies it and if I want to change it, I can change it. It has a lot of flexibility. However, the first two technicians that I had here were new. They weren’t experienced people and that was the problem. They could not analyze my problem correctly until this third guy, Bill, finally diagnosed the problem and solved it. He came in January to do a pest control and I have him scheduled to begin to come in April. I’m pretty happy now that I got everything straightened out with them and I’m happy with the service.     I had Terminix since I first got this house and I have a regular service of spraying around once a quarter. I had dry wood and subterranean termites. I got Terminix and I talked to their rep before he came and he said he'd do both the inspections together. Our home has a wood siding and open beams ceiling. It’s Eichler Homes, Strange Homes. It was the architect's idea long ago but it wouldn’t meet the codes now because they couldn’t build something like it. I told their rep that came that we were concerned about dry rot. So, he went around and did his inspection. He gave me a price for a Terminix contractor to come and take care of it.

    The contractor came and brought some wood and did some work. I got the price and there was supposed to be some painting too but they didn’t get to the painting the first day. They were supposed to do more work on putting up wood, decking down some wood and put some than was expected. When they had done as much as they intended to do, they said there was some problem and that somebody else would come the next day and paint even though they brought paint with them and a paintbrush.

    Someone re-inspected and said there was a problem. The contractor was there the next day. They showed up and said there would be so much to do. I thought it was more money but I needed the job done. So, I was going to go and pay but he can't do it. I just didn’t want want to bother with the whole problem so I said he could come next week. But he never came and Terminix billed me. I paid for the original amount that I agreed to. That was my most recent experience. I have had work done by Terminix before and the work was always satisfactory. Sometimes, the price was a little much, but it seemed okay. Anyhow, I’m sticking with Terminix. It suits me and I don’t have a real problem with it at all. I talked to a friend about it and if my friends really wanted the protection that I have, it’s fine.

    We had service done right before we moved in because of the location of the house. I used to see spiders here and there before but since Terminix has been doing the regular service, I haven't see anything besides stinkbugs. Although we saw a mouse before the exclusion, I haven't seen any since then. We've had Terminix for three years now and I used to easily be able to go on the website and reschedule or request information. But they switched it over and now I can never do any of that on the website. It's not user-friendly and I always have to call.

    But sometimes, the customer service reps can't do the scheduling either and they’re usually misinformed. They give me completely different information than I get once the person actually gets to my house. But they are nice and customer-friendly. Maybe they just need to be better educated on what’s going on. It just seems like a disconnect between them and the technicians but that's the only issue I've ever had with Terminix. All of the service folks were really nice, friendly, polite and helpful. Every technician who's ever been there has been amazing. We love our regular guy, Ray. He’s literally one of the reasons I haven’t cancelled a couple of times that I got in the way of that misinformation.

But if I see a lot of ants outside, especially in the garden, I would schedule and Terminix would come out as much as I want.     Terminix tells me when I'm on schedule and if the schedule does not work with me, then I can change it myself. I wish when they send the text message of the schedule that I could text message back and say, "Please reschedule to another day." Or that I get to do that by calling, but it works out okay. Their tech comes every other month and he is an older man who is fine. He would really like to be able to just come and do the outside and move on. But when I ask him to do something inside, he always says, "Oh, okay. Yes, ma'am." Terminix also had one little young guy who came filling in a couple of times, but they've moved him to another area. He wasn't doing sales and wasn't doing the technician calls anymore but he was absolutely phenomenal and I really liked him. He was a little bit more attentive.

    I have had a problem with silverfish and I have been telling that to our regular tech over and over again. They've given me a little sprinkle stuff to put out and I was supposed to put the envelopes out and it would draw the silverfish to it, but it did not work. I finally told the tech when he came the last time that if he can't get rid of the silverfish or at least do something about them that time then he couldn't blame me if I would go to somebody else.

    So, the tech came inside, went up in the attic, and told me that the problem is there in the attic under the insulation. I told him that I knew that and that was why I kept saying it because when I get down in my garage out of that, I have to get the silverfish quickly and I could see them around the cardboard boxes. But I don't have any cardboard boxes in the attic inside my home. So after he came in, I had seen very few of them since then. It helped at least. We'll figure something for next time and I told him we needed to go up and do it again.

    Our experience with Terminix has been good. Their technician comes out here for their usual quarterly spray and spot checks. However, we started seeing some water bugs inside the house that were alive. But it wasn't the technician's fault that he didn't spray the inside. In fact, I like our technician. He's a good one. It's just that we only saw the water bugs after he left. So far, I've only had one bad experience. There was one guy that came out and I asked him stuff and he was cutting me off real short. So, I have to ask for him not to come back. I told Carlos, our regular guy, about it and he told me that he would make sure that there’s someone new. Other than the water bugs issue, I was satisfied with their service and I would recommend them.

    I was having some issues with bugs and I called Terminix and they had come out. Scheduling was great. I could do everything online, but I wanted to speak to a human so I called and I waited until I could speak with someone, which wasn't very long, and the experience was good. Their associates have always been very helpful and they listened. The issue kept happening, and the young lady I spoke with agreed with me that I shouldn't have still been seeing what I was seeing. So, she helped had the service guy come out in a couple of days. He was here on time and he took care of it. The guy who normally comes has always been very helpful and he usually calls me the night before and tells me I'm still scheduled for the next day. And I wait within the time range and this recent time, he did a little bit more because I asked if he could check some other places. And he did, so I was pleased. I haven't seen anything after the service, so they did a great job.

    I would tell my friends to try Terminix. I'm pleased with the service. It works for me, and the service guy wants to get the issues taken care of. And if they don't take care of an issue the first time, they would do a follow-up and they'll work until it's gone. And then, they are really good about scheduling their quarterly visits and working when it's convenient for the customer. The only thing is if they have to come more than two follow-ups in between the quarterly visits, they should use something stronger. If we had used something stronger soon, we could have eliminated a trip or two.

    Terminix sends the same guy out when it's time for the scheduled visit. There were two times when I didn't receive a phone call about it and the technician called me on the morning of and told me he was coming when the scheduling service hasn't let me know. It ended up not being a big deal but their scheduling and their visits could use some work. That aside, he always does his job well. In the last scheduled visit, It took him a while to get what I had him out for but he was always nice and pleasant. I would recommend using Terminix. They said it would take four months to get rid of the pests but everything has been okay.

    I had a gentleman from Terminix come by. It was a quarterly basis but I told them I was having a problem with fleas. I wanted him to at least spray in the house and he made some other suggestions that I do before. And they seemed to have alleviated a lot of the problems. The technician was very good as far as service and suggestions. Also, they’re pretty good at working things. I’m on the road a lot, and I sometimes have to reschedule, and I rarely ever have a problem. I’ve been fairly happy with what they’ve done. However, I’ve had two price increases in a year which I realized I was grandfathered into something that was a better price than everybody else was getting.     We have a regular service package deal with Terminix. We just moved into our house so we wanted to make sure that everything was okay. And we don't like bugs and I've seen ants in the kitchen and outside when we first moved in and it really made me want to throw up. We had to get that taken care of and it's nice to know that we can have somebody on hand anytime we need a service if there's another additional problem. We haven't seen those ants since the service. Terminix always makes sure that they spray around the house and put the stuff in the kitchen. There were some snakes in the garage and they laid traps with the glue and they really worked and got those snakes.

    We always use the same Terminix guy and we only prefer him. He handles our house and he has been amazing. He has been very thorough and he educates us on stuff that's going on. He also teaches us about things we didn't know and he's funny, very engaging, and he really cares about his job. And he knows what he's talking about. He's completely fantastic. The other guy who came out over a year ago was lazy and didn't do much. And it was a horrible experience.

    We've had issues with billing before, though. And sometimes, we think it's too expensive. We were never told the first time when we were signing up for Terminix that we could get put on a monthly payment. And so, we were always billed quarterly, which is a kind of a disadvantage for us. It wasn't easier to break it down. And I just found out as of a month ago that we can chop up our payments in 12 months instead of doing it quarterly. So, I'm waiting for them to send me the first bill for January.

    Terminix could have better scheduling. They do not notify two days before I have a service call. Notifying me at least seven days in advance would be nicer because I do have a schedule.     The Terminix people called to let me know the day and time they would be be arriving. They came and walked around the exterior to check and sprayed around the house and then gave me a report of what we could do to help mitigate the situation like cut back some trees and bushes and whatnot. They’re probably there for about 20 minutes.

    We’re on a every other month cycle. So normally when it’s my week I always get a phone call probably a week prior in the available times we have. And we have to accept. And then if I need to make a change there’s a number I can call. I’ll just change the time. Setting up the schedule is automated so you just say what your customer number is and what time they’re coming. 95% of their technicians are great. And for the other percent, a couple must have been fired because I have never seen them since.

    The pest activity has definitely declined. I can absolutely see a difference. Also when I first started with them they were using paper process. And now, everything’s automated. They send you a bill electronically. You can pay electronically, automated phone calls for scheduling appointments. I think they’re doing a good job. And I would tell a friend that they should use Terminix. They’re reliable and their prices are reasonable.

    Terminix recently came out to do our annual check to keep our agreement going and everybody from Terminix has always been so polite and we’re very grateful. Everybody that I’ve talked to has been very professional, very courteous and very helpful. The technicians were very good at what they do. We have had one or two guys that had come out a couple of different times so they’re familiar with the property. Usually, the people that were there are comfortable with them. Our renters are usually older women so we’re always there with them and the technicians have been wonderful.

    However, scheduling a service with them is oftentimes confusing because they would call and say, “Hey, we want to make an appointment.” And I'd say, “Okay, how about this time?” And then they call back and verify it another time. And then, the gentleman that comes out to the house was not told that the appointment has been changed. So there’s miscommunication within the company. Somehow we always work it out but the poor guy is usually clueless because nobody told him.

    Terminix is on a semi-annual check. They called us and tell us that they will be here between 9:00 and 12:00. They usually give me about three hours on a certain day. They’re a little bit high priced in a sense. But they seem to really do the job so I’m willing to pay it. They were here recently and they were selling me something to put in the ground with poison that would deter pests before they got into the house. I don't have much trouble so I did not buy it and the tech said, “That’s fine. That’s up to you. I just wanted you to know that that’s available.” I just had them check the house over. They found a couple of spots but they couldn’t see any real local movement of them. He said, “If you see any movement or anything hanging down just call us and we’ll come and take care of it.” Terminix also have the best stuff to kill termites. I would recommend them to a friend.

    At some point, we’ve discovered what we thought were termites and we had Terminix them come out. They’ve been monitoring the termites for several years now. We’ve also retained them to deal with pest control because we have a number of spider, centipedes, crickets, and things like that we try to keep out of the house. They come out quarterly for the pest control and annually for the termite inspection.

    During scheduling, they send an e-mail telling us what they propose and then if it’s not satisfactory, we can go online and change it or call and change it. But 90% of the time, it’s okay. For the pest control treatment, it’s typically the same person that comes out. He does an outside treatment so, he's outside 80% of the time. He also checks in on us and sees if we have anything special we need to be done.Then, they send somebody different for the termite inspection. The termite guys are very friendly, checks on things, look around, and do stuff. We’ve had appointments outside of normally scheduled maintenance but they’ve been very responsive. And it seems to be keeping most of the pest out so we keep using it.

    Terminix is the best. For the 21 years that we've had them, their technicians are always on time and they let me know when they’re coming. If I’m home then they always talk to me and tell me what they did. And if I’m not home then they always leave me something on the front door that tells me everything that’s going on. I got yearly contracts with them, so they schedule the service and come every three months. Also, I’ve never had a bug in the house, except a few years ago when I had a couple of ants.     The first Terminix technician who came to put the chemicals just disappeared and there was no conclusion. I didn't know that he was done. He kind of just laughed like it was okay in terms of explaining and going through it. Since I work from 7 to 5, I requested the service to be done either after 5 or if we communicated. One day a guy just showed up and I was like, "What are you doing here?" He said that he was there to do the service. And I told him that I didn't get any notifications. Luckily I was going home early for the day. I guess there was an email that I missed and he still proceeded to come. Also, when I had something in my attic, the other technician seemed like he didn't want to go in there. I have no major issues, just weird ones. I used to have a lot of ants and I noticed some dead roaches but it's gotten better now, so it's good.

    The first time Terminix came out, I was talking to them over the phone in getting everything set up. The technician was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional and has only been out one time. He did treatment around and inside my house.     I was having a lot of wasp nests. I live in a two-storey house and when the nests were in the upper eves, I left them alone because the wasps were up there. I had been a Terminix customer and every technician I had has been very professional. A Terminix technician then drove up and I explained my needs. He took care of everything that I needed to have done. He treated the inside a little bit and something in the garden. But once they started coming down closer to the front porch area, the front door, where children sometimes play in front of my house, then I started getting a little concerned because I didn’t like killing things like this because I know they're all beneficial to the environment, but I also didn’t want to be held liable in case a child had a sting and had done nothing to prevent it.

    Terminix came out on around the 20th of December for the roach termination, but there are more of those little German roaches now than there were before they sprayed. So I wasn't really satisfied. Terminix did a great job the first time they came to do the service several years ago. The technician took care of the problem in one treatment and it was within a matter of week. But it hasn't worked at all this time. I'm on a three month contract with Terminix now, and the lady told me to call back if we still have a problem before the next due date and they would come back and retreat for free. So that’s what I needed to do.

    I wasn't in the house on the day they did the service but I was told that the Terminix technician did not spray long enough to do a good enough job. He just went here for about 30 minutes. The technician seemed to be in a rush to try to get it done and didn’t spend as much time as he should have in spraying different places. But when they came down to the other house, they were there over an hour treating inside, so there was quite a bit of difference in spray time with the treatments done in the two houses. Other than that, everything was all right and I'd still recommend Terminix.

    We had carpenter ants that swarmed and we discovered it and it was on a weekend. Terminix actually sends somebody right out and it was Pat. She took care of it and that's what brought us together and I really liked her. We've been with Terminix for about 11 years and she's the main reason why we stick with Terminix. She comes routinely unless I need her more and as long as she works for them and she's my technician I will keep my Terminix contract. She's just a wonderful person and a dedicated employee.

    She sets the schedule and then calls me. I felt confident enough that I gave her key to my home, which I don't really do to many people, so she can go when she wants.     I was having a mice problem in the house and I called Terminix. They checked indoor and outdoor and looked for cracks in the house. Since it’s winter time, the mice might be coming in the house. And they found something and they recommended to enroll in a three-month service, wherein they will come and take care of everything in order to help me out with the pests. They came here a couple of times and set traps and after the third service, they told me our service was done.

    In the beginning, they told me “If you pay $2000, you will get service for three months and you can call anytime you want.” The first time they came to set up the traps, I called them back and I said, “You know, the traps got some kind of mini mice, because I put them in the trash, and I need more traps to take care of it”. They came a second time for the traps. And after the technician left, they sent me an email telling me “Your service is done”. I was thinking when you enroll for three months, there should be 3 months. So I thought it was not fair and it wasn't what we agreed on.

    When I spoke to their customer service on the phone, they were very nice people and they got back to me ASAP. They said they called the manager for the area and he’d get back to me ASAP. He called me and said, “We’ll come into your house.” They were supposed to come in between 8:00 and 11:00. However, the guy called me around 11:15 to tell me he’s going to be 40 minutes late. I waited for him close to 12:00 and then he called me back again to tell me he’s going to be late another half an hour. I said, “Okay, that’s fine”. I wasn’t really happy with my experience. I was sitting and watching TV for five hours waiting for this appointment. It was too much time. I’m a very easygoing person in general. If you come 5, 10 or 15 minutes late because there is an accident in the way or if he has more problems than I do, I'd understand.

    I always have faith in Terminix. They're the number one priority to call. But the guys doing the service need to be more professional. I dealt with Terminix before and they were professional. They have been in the business for a long time, and whenever people call me, I trust them. As a customer, when you tell me, “Well, you’re scheduled between 8:30 and 12:30”, I expect a gentleman that is very professional who'd be here within 5 minutes more or less and not three hours after. Also, when you come and tell me “You pay $250, you will be covered for three months.", three months should be 90 days. There is no half an hour left, no half an hour more but 90 days of service.

    The house was clear for roughly 17 years. I've been happy with generally all the termite inspectors that came to my house. But over time, I get to work with one particular individual and I build up rapport with them. I trust them when they come to my house and heed their advice. However, I had an inspector, not my normal one, come in April last year. I found out later that he was some guy that was supposed to be trained to promote business for Terminix. Since I was already a Terminix customer, he shouldn’t even have been here. Then I thought he was going to follow up at that point but I never heard any more back. I never got an inspection report nor any feedback from anybody.

    Then when my normal Terminix inspection came up, everything was handled by my inspector. They did annual inspections at my house for both the dry wood and the subterranean coverage plans. Then as soon as he saw the evidence that termites have returned back on a window sill on one of my back bedrooms, he decided we better fumigate again. My in-laws had their house fumigated by Terminix and they were happy with the service. The inspector told me to follow up or schedule a return visit by him so that we could sign the paperwork. Then we had to get a date that was compatible with my schedule and Terminix’s schedule. I gave them three dates. They called me back and told me which ones fit in to their schedule so that’s the one we're using. It was all preordained once the termite damage was noticed.

    I recommended one of my neighbors to Terminix and noticed my technician was over at her house some time last year. I've also told one of my friends that lives in a different city because he was mentioning he might need some termite inspection work done. I told him I was having my house fumigated 'cause it is a pain that I've got to pack everything up and move out of the house for two days. But other than that, I told him that if he's looking for somebody, Terminix has been okay with me. And as far as the standard termite people like Clark and Orkin, Terminix's as good as anybody else. They're all licensed and certified.

    Terminix's really popular around the industry in the United States so I gave them a call a few years ago. The customer service was excellent and the person I've spoken with was courteous so I got an appointment scheduled. I had one guy come to inspect the house and he did an excellent job. He answered any question that I had. And if it was something that he was not sure of, he would call the supervisor to ask the question for me and that was excellent on his part.

    Another guy came out to set down the traps and he was excellent as well. He never not answered my calls, was very stern and accurate with everything. They were both efficient which I love that about them.

    However, I still have the little pests in my house since availing their service, but it has nothing to do with Terminix. They came in to the point where the pests were smart with the traps, going around and pushing them out of the way which was weird. But the problem has decreased a little bit, because the smell of the traps itself made the pests sick because they weren’t really coming out as much. But now, they are because of the weather change. I’d recommend Terminix to anybody because from my first and previous experiences, they've always been professional in the department that I contacted.     I've been with Terminix since 2002 and I got their termite baiting station which is really good. We haven't had any pest activities and we kept up with the yearly expensive rate that we went with last for 14 years. When I had a question about whether or not I was having some issues with some bugs that I wasn't sure were termites, one of their guys who usually comes and checks the station came out the next day and he told me it wasn't termites. I called them and their technician was out here right away. However, because it's a national company, I was given the runaround with some people regarding the cost.     Our regular tech from Terminix is very personable and does a really thorough job. He really cares about what he's doing and I feel comfortable with him. I don't have to worry about whether or not he skipped something. He usually does everything by the book. However we did not have him for the last couple of treatments because he had surgery. The last two I've had were okay but it just seemed like they're not here as long as they should be in taking care of business. After they left I saw a bug or two. They're usually dying but I found one that wasn't dying. And that makes me really wonder.

    For the quarterly visits, Terminix calls me and lets me know when they're coming. I understand things go up but I don't understand why the longer you're with them, the higher your bill and I think that's totally unfair for us customers that have been loyal. We don't get a break. I know several people that their service that pay a lot less than I do. Mine is now way up over $100. I'm tired of them raising my bill ever so often so, I hope they don't keep on that or they could force me to go somewhere else.

The representative who comes to our house is laid back and informative. He answers all the questions and is very thorough.     I'm near a field and there's a lot of farming so there are pest and rodents. The Terminix guy came 7:00 in the morning for the second spraying around my house. He seemed very helpful.     I'm usually at work when Terminix comes in. They go around and spray and check everything. The guy that comes out is great. He answers any questions that I have and explains things in detail, like anthing that I might want to look at in the future. He is extremely courteous and very personable. He also always suggest things and he said if anything comes up in the future to just call him.

    When they come and do the inside I have to be there. The last time it was the same guy that usually does the outside inspection but he couldn’t do it. My house is above the ground. During the times that I got to be there when they came, they were very nice and attentive. They were always in if I had any intrusion of insects in the house, which usually I don’t because it’s sufficient with what they spray on the outside.

    A lot of people in the village suffer when they don’t have the bug problem taken care of. When I was renting a house before in this area and before I had the spray started, I had a lot of problems with insect invasions. At that time, my mother was still living in this house so I knew her service was good. I got the service for that rental house and I was happy with the results I got. I don’t have to worry about bugs. It's nice to be free of ants, rarely do I ever have an invasion. Also, I’ve been out in the middle of the country and I hardly ever have any spiders to worry about.     I called Terminix because I had a bug issue. I asked for my regular exterminator, but the rep was unsure of who she was going to get for me. My regular exterminator was able to come after all. I love him. He's a good person and he remembers. He knows my problems and is well aware of the situation. He knew what to treat the bugs with and was knowledgeable enough to look what my previous guy used before. I kept with Terminix because of my service provider. I lost him, but the guy I have now, though he's relatively new to the area, has been with Terminix for years and he understands how it works. So, he knows what he needs to do to keep a client happy.

    However, I don't like when I have to call the 800 number to get someone. I don't like how they don't know what goes on with me and who takes care of my house.     We've had Terminix for 30 plus years now and the Terminix technician who recently came out was awesome. He's been to our house several times. He is friendly and I feel perfectly safe being home alone with him. However, we were emailed in an appointment and we were not even home then. They need to call us for the first appointment, not email us and appoint. I need to be home at my convenience, not at Terminix's convenience. And when we called to change the appointment, the gal at the call center said, "Well, I can't change it but I'll have somebody call you within 24 hours that can change it." which was very inconvenient. Three days later, nobody has called. I called back and the gal said she'll but the request through again. Their reps were nice when I talk to them but I'm not happy with the call center. They're horrible.

    Nevertheless, we love Terminix's service and we would recommend them. We've been taken very good care of. We had to have some termite tunnels fixed and my favorite guy came out and fixed them and we haven't had a repeat problem since. The service that we've had, even when we were in Florida, was excellent. I really didn't have a big complaint but their call center is one thing that could be fixed.

They checked everything out on the outside but they didn’t check the attic because I wasn’t aware that they were coming on that day. But the technicians treated me good. Also the pest activity is minimum. I see a spider here and there but that's about it.     We saw a mouse in our house and I looked online at some of Terminix's reviews and I thought I would give them a try. I went online, did some things and I tried to contact them. I was going back and forth initially but I wasn't able to get through immediately, but eventually, I did touch base with somebody. Their inspector came out to take a look at things and then a couple of days after, the technician came out to set the traps. I wasn’t there but my wife was there when the technician came. He talked to her about what he was doing and told her where he was setting the traps. He also told her to let him know if we had any problems and that he will check back with us in a couple of weeks, but that never happened.

    We haven’t had any problems since, at least nothing that we could see, and hopefully, that means the mice are not there anymore. But I still think they need to come back because, from my understanding, they'd check the traps they put out to see if it’s been disturbed or if the bait has been taken. I want them to do that, so I am going to call. I’d give them the benefit of the doubt right now. But other than that, my experience has been okay. I’ve already recommended them to someone and that person did get the service as well.

    Terminix usually comes every quarter and their employees who have come out to my house have all been very generous. They're supposed to come on a certain time and they're supposed to let me know, but sometimes they didn't and that has been the only problem I've had with them. I have a dog and I wanted to make sure that the dog was not out when they were here, especially after they sprayed. Also, when they came and I was not ready for them because no one knew about them, they couldn't go to my backyard, so they only did the front of the house. They told me that if I wanted more service, I'd have to call them. But I told them that I was paying for their service and they needed to call me. In the end, we have worked it out and they did not charge me for that time that they just did the front.

    I've been told by their competitors that the stuff that they use is kind of a generic thing and that it doesn't kill certain pests. But so far, I don't have ants in the house. I see those little silverfish every so often, though. I have also seen the black water bugs, but those come out of the sewer. I get some spiders, too, but they usually spray for that. And when they come and they're supposed to take out the spiderwebs. I brought that to their attention and they did that, so, that was good. Overall, Terminix has to improve their scheduling process and bring to my attention that they have better quality stuff, even if it would cost more, so I don't have to deal with certain things.

Customers are unable to call the local office in their town/city. I was called by an "Unknown Number" and said it was Terminix. They wanted me to pay (right then, on the phone) for my yearly inspection to get a discount. I did not wish to do that as I had no proof who was actually calling me. I, later, called Terminix and the person I spoke with said she would call my local office and someone would return my call. I never got the return call. Bottom line is that customer service from the local office stinks. I do want to say that I have never had any problems, whatsoever, from any technician that has came out to our home.

    My husband and I have been living in Florida for 32 years and from the early 90s, we were with Sears and Sears sold out to Terminix. I have their regular quarterly routine maintenance for roaches and ants. Their technicians are so-so and are there just there to do a job. But Sam is different. He does his job and is very understanding and caring. He is always very nice to me and he has been for a good number of years. He would come to the door and talk to me for a few minutes before he did his service.

    I'd recommend Terminix but they could stop bugging me about raising my rates. I have told them time and time again that I’m on a fixed income and I cannot afford the raise. But they just raised the rate to $80 when I have been paying $75 for a long time. They tried to raise it before but then I always had someone intercede for me. They kept it at the same rate because I talked to a district manager. I didn’t care for that man at all though. The last time I talked to him on the phone, he was a jerk. He didn't care about the customers and all he cared about was getting the job done. And it's frustrating because we’ve been with Terminix so long. I tried to do this in surveys a lot of times but they do not respond to the stuff that I put in there.

    I also do not like it when I have to talk to somebody in customer service. I live in Florida and sometimes they send me to a service representative out in California, in Texas or somebody up north. I don’t want to talk to somebody up there. I want to talk to somebody in Florida. I complained about all those things to the service manager but he just gave me lip service. I posted some stuff when they were asking for some feedback and the service manager that I detest tried to call back but I wasn’t home. I didn’t want to talk to him because it would have been an exercise in futility. Overall, Terminix needs to show their appreciation to their customers in other ways than raising my rates because I can’t afford their rate. Other than those, their service is good and they do a good job.

    Terminix came out and did an assessment. They were very polite and efficient. They told me what they were going to do and how much it would cost. They were very efficient. After I agreed to what they told me they were going to do, the guy came out. He did exactly what the other guy told me they were going to do. I haven’t had any issues with mice since.

    The tech was awesome and really nice. He actually found a mouse and he trapped and disposed of it for me because I do not like mice at all. He also reassured me that I did not have an infestation problem. He asked me how many mice I caught and in how many days. I said I caught two in about a week. And he said, he came from a house that caught 12 in an hour. I felt a lot better about that. They did say though that a guy was going to come out and do something with the roof and nobody is contacting me about that yet, but I'm sure that they will do that at some point.

    The first man who came out who went through everything and explained everything was very personable, cordial and nice. And then, the second guy who came out was a younger guy. He was very friendly and very humorous. Both of them were very, very nice people. They didn’t treat me like a number. They weren’t trying to rush through. They weren’t just like doing a job. They treated me almost like I was a friend. I would recommend both of them. They've been excellent.

    We were with Massey before and we had to ask them to come out every single month. But with Terminix, it seems like the quarterly service is doing its job.     My Terminix experience was fine, but it’s yet to be determined, because it’s not termite season yet. But they put the bait down and were very explanatory in some of the products. The day that the man came to put the bait and the traps down, it was zero out that day. It was really cold but he did his job, and he put them 15 feet apart throughout the yard. They also told us that in any event that we see any termite activity, do not hesitate to give them a call and they would be there immediately.

    My friend had rat problems and Terminix did a good job in getting rid of them, so I went with them too. My Terminix service happens quarterly. They send a text and email when they're coming out. The technicians that I've been getting were really professional and attentive. If I have any problem or need, I just let them know and they take action. They're friendly and really courteous.     I'm really pleased and want to thank Terminix because the day when I called, it was an emergency and they came very quickly. The raccoon jumped from the fireplace and that made me panic. And a month after that I don't know how they made the colony and how many there are. I couldn't sleep the whole night, so I called Terminix and I got a good response. Terminix came and they searched all over the place. The technicians came from the chimney and both guys were very nice.     The tech from Terminix showed up on time for their quarterly checkup and inspected the exterior perimeter. He looked at the interior where I've had issues before and took the necessary precautions. He advised me to place more steel wall in a couple of spots, but overall it was good. It's always been positive with their technicians. They're thorough. They look for avenues where critters can enter my home and they guide me and give me advice as to how to prevent critters from wanting to come near my desk. And so far it's been working pretty good. As for the scheduling, I usually get a phone call with a reminder and they have a date and then if something comes up and it doesn’t work for me, they just say to give them a call and they will happily reschedule it.

    We have a service with Terminix for termites. Their guy came out recently and checked the underground poison traps. The Terminix technicians are courteous, however, their level of knowledge was not very good. They put in the poison bait traps and I had been told in the past, they've come out, went ahead and put in extra ones in because they couldn't find the old ones. So, they came out again with no real map of where the traps are. They are on the ground. So, the only way to do that would be to measure some distances from certain known points and then they could find them each time, but they couldn't find them. So, I don't know what their game plan is. But recently, the guy who came out got them up and they're sticking above the ground, and it's not great. I hope they would do a better job locating the bait traps.

    Terminix didn’t seem to work around my schedule. It was like I had to work around theirs and it has happened a couple of times. I understand they have a pretty hectic schedule. But when it’s time, they should ask me to give them a couple of days that I could be there. As opposed to telling me I am scheduled for this day at this time and if I can’t be there they'll just come and inspect because I don’t leave my gates open so the technician doesn’t have the ability to inspect the back of the home. I did that myself but I would rather be there.

    Terminix must offer several different appointment opportunities for their customer. This gives a person an opportunity to make time available if they need to be there and have questions. I think Terminix’s issue is that their client base is ignorant to what they’re doing, so they don’t really need them to be there for them to do a visual inspection but they may have questions and need to be there.

    As far as customer service goes, Terminix is not the best. They just want the finished product. Their representatives are respectful though and I don't have any pest activity problems. When I initially inspected the house before I moved in there was an active evidence of termite activity and that’s how we began the relationship. The previous owners got a contract with Terminix then I assumed it after I bought the home.

If I have a problem with it, they allow me to reschedule it. The technician's name is Dan and he does a conscientious job. Occasionally, we have to have something done a little more carefully than in the past. If there are any areas that need special attention under my contract, he takes care of it and he's very reliable. He's always on time and he follows the schedule. He does a thorough job when he's here, and he asks questions if I need anything else. He offers me other services in case I want to consider another service from them. He's a first-class person and I would definitely recommend them.

    Your inspection initially revealed a mouse infestation costing me over $1400 for exclusion service. It was nothing more than a single mouse! To make matters worse, when a 2nd visit was necessary, I had to call a Terminix supervisor because of “a computer screw up”. They came later on, didn’t bother to ring the bell, so I called the Terminix office, never got a return call and later found a note in my mail box claiming that there was ice in the gutters and the crew was unable to install the already paid for “leaf defier” system and that they would reschedule?     Let me first say that I am very satisfied with both my termite control treatment (although I consider it too expensive for what they do) and my normal pest control service. The one item I am unhappy with is as follows: I had some type of animal in one of the interior walls of my house, probably a squirrel. I contacted Terminix, who sent a technician to my house to quote me a price for making sure that any areas where a pest could enter would be repaired. I agreed to his price for repairing some holes in the crawlspace under my house. I paid him by credit card for the full amount of the repair.

    I heard nothing else from Terminix for 2 1/2 months after this meeting, even after contacting them by email, written letter and phone. I did get a bill from them for the full amount every month. I finally got someone from Terminix to examine this issue and they ended up cancelling the contract for this work, stating that they had no idea what happened. My credit card was never charged. I have no idea what happened, but it was not a good experience waiting for Terminix while some rodent was running around in the walls of my house.

The representative I spoke with on the phone was very good.     Terminix is crap. They’re not the nicest people to deal with. They don’t help with my pest problem and they don’t help with anything else either. We had to have them reschedule three times because their technicians weren’t available. When we were trying to accommodate them, we told them to let us know when they were coming so we could make sure the dogs were in the garage. The email that I got from them was at 8 at night and I didn’t get it until the next morning when I woke up. Then the guy was here within 10 minutes and he was upset because the dogs weren’t in the crate. I said I didn’t receive the email until 10 minutes before they got here, and that was not my fault because they were late scheduling when they were the one who rescheduled.
