    Terminix came out to my father's house and did a treatment outside and under the floor. Nobody was there and the technician did everything he could to take care of things without me having to miss work to be there. All I did was communicate on the phone and he was nice then too. He also let me know what was going on and then they sent the bill to my father, which he paid. Everything was easy. Aside from this visit, Terminix does the annual termite inspection and they had also come out in the past while my father was living there. He's in assisted living now.

    I have just this morning heard from the manager at the Albany NY branch of Terminix who reported that my refund of the overcharged amount had been refunded, and I am very pleased to report that when I checked with my credit card company the overcharge had, in fact, been eliminated, and my refund was posted. I am very grateful to Albany Terminix manager Brian ** for acting promptly to get this matter resolved, and to Consumer Affairs for contacting the Terminix company to make certain the refund that Brian had requested be processed was expedited. I would be pleased if Consumer Affairs would publish this response. Thank you, Mort in Albany.

    On May 22, 2018 Terminix treated my home for termites in one area of my garage. The contract I signed with Terminix in Albany NY was for 1,603.80, which was a discounted price of the original quoted price of 1,782.00. The Terminix employee who treated my home then incorrectly charged by credit card account the higher price when he completed the application, and after he contacted his supervisor to notify him of his error his supervisor charged me a second time for 1,603.80, but he did not also remove the first incorrect charge to my account. Now I have two charges for one service and as of May 30 this double charge has not been corrected. This is extremely upsetting. I have made several calls to Terminix, which has promised to correct the double charge, but no action has been initiated or completed on my account.

    I have now contacted the Bureau of Consumer Frauds and Protection, the New York State Attorney General's Office, and my own attorney, who are prepared to take action on my behalf if the error is not corrected promptly. This has proven to be an extremely time consuming process and has begun to spoil my experience with a business that promised to provide reliable and honest service. I have proof of the problem I have described -- the original contract for 1,603.80, and the record of both transactions from my credit card company, and the disputed charge complaint I opened with my credit card company. I will write again next week, June 4, to update the status of this complaint. If it is not corrected I will post this complaint and add names and details on Angie's List and other review sites.

    I got a text from Terminix saying that they were on their way and I texted back asking what location, but I never got a response, so I had no idea if that was just a missed text. I tried to reach out to my local branch to have them put on the account what location that they were gonna go to when they texted me if that was possible. I own my own business and we have our house and the kids have a duplex, and Terminix treats all three locations. I was on hold for 30 minutes, but never got a hold of anybody. They must have had been really busy that day.

    But as far as the service goes, it’s been great and I haven't had any issues with that. The issue is just a communication thing because I like to be at the location when they’re gonna be there. If I’m not there, I‘d like somebody -- either the kids or my wife or whoever – to be there. And as far as where that house goes, someone definitely needs to be there because we have traps inside that they have to inspect. Generally, they text me or call me, but I would prefer at least a half hour notice.

    Also, I love the idea of texting that they were on their way, but they need to take it up a notch and say, “Hey, we’re on our way to…” whatever location they’re on their way to. There has been a little turnover of people because they’re shuffling guys around. It’s been four different people for four different times. But for the most part, whoever comes out has been very good and very professional.

    We do monthly service in all three locations and it has been good, except the residential where I noticed a couple of spiders in the basement. I would like to get them in because it’s been awhile since they’ve been in our house. For the duplex, they’ve been going in every time because it’s new for the kids. They’ve purchased it in October and we went through a hotel to remodel, but it was infected with mice and all kinds of little insects. Still, they have it under control. Overall, Terminix’s service has been great.

    I love Terminix and I'm grateful to be with them. I hope they don't ever stop coming. The technician's service is great. He calls and lets me know he's on his way. He sprays inside and he goes outside to look for the ants' base. I've been with another provider before and the pests were multiplying. Since Terminix have been coming, I hadn't seen any.     Our son moved into an apartment that had bed bugs and they got over here, and Terminix worked with those and took care of the indoor stuff. I certainly wanted those gone and it was a terribly hard work for old folks, but it had to be them to do it. And I haven't seen any bed bugs since. But we also took the pest control extra in case any bed bugs came back. However, no one ever gave me any paperwork to show me anything. I just had some unfilled forms with signatures but nothing definitive telling what our package was. And I called and texted them to ask for it.

    We still have spiders in the garage, but the technician has put little boxes out. He is friendly and putters around doing his job, and I like him. We told him about some kind of animal under our barn and though he said he didn’t do that, he still looked around. The Terminix technicians really knew what they were doing and the guys that came around and took care of the dead bugs were very efficient and sharp. Terminix comes out every so often since we paid upfront and they’ve been taking care of the scheduling. We’re doing okay with this company so far.

    A Terminix technician comes on a monthly basis and it’s in a contract we have with them ever since I’ve worked here. And they’re in and out the door and it all goes very smoothly. Also, they know when our lunch break is, so they don’t come during that time. The gentleman is very nice and does a good job. I had some ants that were getting on my desk and he made a point to spray around my desk area and he also checked the outside area to see if he could see a trail of ants. He spotted it and sprayed the outside area too. We keep the little glue pads in the back of the warehouse and little spiders and stuff get on them, but it helps. We wouldn’t see any benefits if we didn’t do it. Terminix is doing a wonderful job. They are always very friendly when they come in and interact with us.

    I signed up for pest control with Terminix this year. I've been paying for the year, but they don’t go by day. They go by year and I call them as I need them. They go inside my house because I have termites for almost eight years now. If they don’t see any termites, then they don’t spray. I got TruGreen for mosquitoes and crawling bugs. They told me TruGreen was part of Terminix and I said, “Since I already have that, just give me one for the wasps and the bumblebees and then to spray inside of the house if I see any insects." This was my first time having them and the tech that came out was nice and he had a good personality. He asked me if had I seen any bugs inside my house and I forgot to tell him I had crickets, but they died inside the house. Other than that, I have not seen anything. The tech was friendly and there wasn't any kind of fooling around. It was strictly business. I will recommend Terminix.

    I have been using Terminix for about a year now. My bill payment for the month (monthly charge) just came out of my account, and I was astonished to see that my bill had gone from $28.88 to $50.88, so I called... I was told that this is a standard price hike, that would happen every year, as it did for everyone all over the country. So with no notice of the increase, my account was debited almost twice of what I normally pay. This seems unfair and makes them seem less trustworthy. I'm debating on switching to their competitor, because I didn't sign up for that price, nor do I know I can afford it. I'm frustrated and saddened by this whole experience.

    It's very easy to schedule with Terminix and I do it over the phone. They are very polite and they work around my schedule. Our most recent experience with them was good as well. They were very friendly and they did a great job. The first time that a tech came to spray, we told him we had a mice problem. So he set up a bunch of traps throughout the house and gave us a couple of extra and then put those termite things around to start it off. They helped us with our rat problem and I haven't seen any proof of the rats recently, so hopefully what Terminix did worked. They're really good and they're better than the old company I had. I have recommended Terminix to a lot of people.

    I purchased a home so I wanted to make sure that there were no bugs. Terminix comes every three months to spray for bugs and they have been here about four times already. The number of bugs has reduced since the first time but I still see them here and there. But Terminix did a good job for what I needed them for and the tech who comes out here is friendly.

    Had appt for rep to come inspect for termites. May 24 between 3 & 5 he didn't show or call so at 7:00 I called. Lady said Erin would call me in a few min. I waited 45 min and called back to be told he wasn't coming at all! Carpenters were waiting on inspection to continue. I feel a phone call would be easy to let us know he wasn't keeping appt. I now have to find another company that keeps their appts. Very inconvenient for all. Thanks.

    We recently cancelled our account with Terminix after about 15 years of customer loyalty. We have an old house and we used Terminix to prevent mice and other pests. All was fine with local technicians. When raccoons got into our attic we asked Terminix if they could provide additional service to remove raccoons. They said they could. Scheduling was extremely difficult and involved waiting on hold multiple times, having them hang up on me, and having the technician not show up. When we finally were able to get a technician to our home, he said that the company did not handle raccoons.

    We called customer service to complain, since we had specifically been told that they could help us with a raccoon problem. We were told that a manager, Peter **, would call us to straighten out the miscommunication. He never did and so I called back to complain and cancel my account. I was told by the customer service rep that I was “confused” and he accused me of “badgering him”. He said I would receive an e-mail confirming my account cancellation. It has been a week and no confirmation of my cancellation. We have found a local company to deal with raccoons and we plan to hire another local company for basic pest control. I advise everyone to avoid Terminix due to their poor customer service and communication.

    Terminix calls me and says when the techs will come and asks if the schedule is okay, and if it isn’t, I say so. If I haven’t been able to schedule an appointment, I would call and tell them. The techs come either for insects or mice. I’ve had a lot of different technicians but the one that I have for insects is the same all the time. He comes here every three months and he's a wonderful person. He's very kind and friendly. He explains things and whatever he's doing. I let the other techs who come for the mice go inside and out. They always tell me what they’re gonna do and if I wanna follow them around, I can. They're as thorough as one can be in a job like that without tearing out the walls and the ceiling.

    The tech who came yesterday was somebody we had scheduled three weeks ago and the last time, the other guy was here. As far as the pest activity, a couple of times something has been discovered later. But then I was told that with the mice, it would take several months for them to quit showing up. I was slightly disturbed in the beginning when I kept catching mice because I had paid a rather large sum to get rid of them. But it's a process and everything is good.

    We've been in our contract for almost a year and it's always been a good experience. When I call them to schedule, they get scheduled right away and they can come out within the week, so it's been real good. They recently came out to spray and the gentleman that sprayed was very good. I like the fact that he cleans the light fixtures outside. And they're always very thorough about spraying around my deck that I have. One thing that I requested when we decided to do a contract with Terminix was to make sure they spray around the deck, and they always do. He always makes sure he gets that because it's around the swimming pool.

    They also came out on that same day to do a termite inspection that they said I needed, but I wasn’t impressed with the guy that did the inspection. I didn't have termites but he was very determined that we were gonna buy his product. He was there for a very long time and wouldn't leave. Overall, Terminix has been good and I like their service. I referred them to my mom for her ant problem at her house. That was one reason we started the contract with Terminix because when the gentleman came to my door, my husband had just found ants in our closet. He immediately signed a contract with them and we haven't had an ant problem since.

    Terminix comes out every three months. They send me an email to notify me when it’s time for a service and I can change the schedule if I need to. The man that comes is very professional and friendly and if I have any extra little problems, he takes care of them.     In February I signed up for the home pest control service, I scheduled an appt on 2/19/18 Presidents Day between 8:am-10:00 am because it was the first appt and my husband and I would be home and able to tell the tech where we needed him to focus on. We called at 10:00 am when no one showed up, and they said that there was no appt scheduled. I told them we purposely made the appt on a day we would both be off, so they said they would send someone out between 12:00 pm -2:00 pm. Well 2:00 pm came and no one showed up. We called again and they said that they would send someone between 3:00 pm-5:00 pm. We were so frustrated as we waited all day on a holiday for them.

    The tech was nice and did a good job but the process is horrible. We talked to a Terminix person and they said for the inconvenience they would give us a discount. I check my account online and the discount was not given so I called and they apologized and said it would definitely reflect on the next charge in May. May came and I scheduled an appt for 2 services on Saturday (8-10 and 10-12) back to back. The first tech came on time at 8:30 am and gave us an estimate for ground control. We waited for the 2nd tech to do his monthly spray and 12:00 came around and no tech, I called and they said there was no appt for Saturday but on Tuesday at 10:00-12:00. I told them I would have never made an appt for Tuesday 10-12 as I am working. Sooo instead of having to wait all day again, I changed it to Friday between 3:00-5:00 as I would be home from work. Again no one showed up and said it was for another day.

    I was so frustrated I called my husband. He scheduled it for a day he would be home. Tech came and it was good, the tech is not the problem. It is everything else. Then to top it off I checked my May bill and no discount was applied to my charge as I was promised in February. I called to Terminix and the women I spoke with said there is no note in the system talking about a discount, I explained what happened and she just kept saying there is no note... sooo frustrated again so I asked to speak to the manager and they could not be contacted directly and she would email them the situation and they will see if I would be able to get a discount for the horrible service we have been receiving. Still, have not heard back from Terminix. Beware of this company they are not truthful and shows poor integrity.

    When I called Terminix and asked if they were gonna do the whole house, they said yes and that they would do the whole house outside and inside. But once they came out, they only did the kitchen and one bathroom. They had already come out twice and every time I told them, they said they couldn't do the whole house because it's poison. The reason I agreed to the service with them is to get rid of ants but I still have a lot of bugs in the house. When I talked to a Terminix representative about that, she told me that she would make sure they do it, but they still did not the next time they came out. So, I don't like Terminix.

    We've been using Terminix for a long time and the servicemen that come out to our property are pretty good. They have a schedule but they call and remind us because this is an apartment community so we have to put out notices and it's rigmarole for them to come and then have someone that stops working. Also, they're very good about trying not to schedule it on Monday.

    However, if I have to do anything extra or something that is not with the serviceman, they don't let me talk to the people I need to talk to. And the people above them, if I would have any sort of issue, were very hard to get a hold of. I'd call the number and get a person on the switchboard. I never get to talk to somebody who actually takes care of the problem. Then I'd have to talk to somebody in Timbuktu who doesn't know diddley and takes forever for them to figure out who they need to contact. They wanna be cheap and cut out the people in between which is tacky and frustrating. It's very time-consuming. They should make communications easier.

    Terminix comes out three or four times a year and checks things out both in the inside and outside. We've had them for a number of years and we've been very happy and pleased with them. I get a phone call from them saying when they’ll be out and Greg, the gentleman that usually services us, is polite, friendly and a real gentleman. Also, they come when they say they're gonna come and they know when they're supposed to come so it's pretty painless. We've had some carpenter ants here and Terminix's service has been great. They scheduled the window time for the visit between certain hours and they showed up. Their service diminished the number of critters that we had significantly. Terminix has been very professional and they're really good.

    More than once this season Terminix has contacted us and scheduled an inspection of the attic. We were told to contact them if we couldn't keep the scheduled day and time. Two times no one from Terminix has shown up at the scheduled day and time. It seems if they can't keep their appointments they should contact the customer to let them know. Instead we had someone wait around for nothing. And we already paid our dues!

    There was an error in financing, I immediately called the company to get it resolved. I was told that the branch manager would call me back which he did not. I called the representative back the next day and was assured that the error had been resolved. The next month the invoice arrived in the mail. The numbers were the same. I called again and was told that the manager would call me back. He did not. I have been in touch with the Terminix company and I have been in touch with the SMAC Finance company and cannot get any resolution until the manager in Tupelo, MS returns my call and cancels this financing contract.

    He finally called me back on Friday May 18th, 2018 and told me that the simplest thing to do would be to cancel the financing contract and let me know the correct balance due and I would mail him a check for the balance. The contract has not been canceled and once again I cannot get the manager to answer or return my calls. I need to get this issue resolved as soon as possible. I don't want to have to pay $200 more than what I actually owe but I also don't want not paying to reflect badly on my credit.

    I am at my wits end with what to do about this. The one person that can help with this is not answering or returning my calls. He promised to resolve the issue on Friday which he did not. The payoff is due May 28th and today is May 21st. I have been in touch with both the company and the finance company both of which tell me that the person that can help me with this is the manager of the Tupelo, MS branch. This has been going on now for almost two months and still no resolution in sight.

    After many phone calls to both the company and the finance company, remaining on hold for long periods of time only to be transferred back and forth from one to the other and both telling me I have to get the manager to help me and not being able to get the manager to answer his phone or return my calls I am reaching out in effort to get help with this. I will post an update if and when I receive a resolution.

    I had a home in Nashville before moving to Kansas City. I had Terminix for at least 15 years there and my parents also has a Terminix contract. They went throughout the whole house so it was a thorough service. The representative came out one time for a preliminary meeting. He did a nice job and then a different person came out to do the actual treatment.

    Terminix is good and the pest activity goes down after they come out. One time, we asked them to come over and after that, they come every three months. However, last time, they came without our permission and they did their job and charged us. Normally, they text when they are on their way, but this last time, we didn't receive their text on time. Maybe we got the message after they've done their job, and it was kind of too late. We want to know when they're coming and they have to know our budget beforehand.

    It has been a good experience with Terminix and we've had the same technician for a couple of years now. He is very good and does the best job of anybody we’ve ever had. He sprays in general for ants, roaches and bugs. We can also get a hold of him easily even though it’s very difficult to get ahold of anybody from the corporate outfit or somebody at the office if you need to talk to them. I would tell friends to get a lot of information if they ask about Terminix.

    I got good service from Terminix. The technicians were knowledgeable and friendly and their job was done well. I had some squirrels in the attic and some roaches and they took care of those. I sometimes still see some roaches but they're much less. Scheduling was prompt and all the representatives were good. The technician was a senior person who was very knowledgeable. And then, there was another person who came after his visit to check on things. He was going to remove the trap but then he left it. They may come back, so he was leaving it there for another two weeks.

    I know termite is what my service is for on a recurring basis. My neighbor has had some termite activity in his house and I know Terminix came, looked around and checked on it, but they just check the outside. How do they make sure that nothing is going on inside the walls? That’s one of the things that I wanted to follow up with them. But otherwise, everything is working out. I'd recommend Terminix.

    Terminix comes every two months to both of our buildings and spray for insects. The tech comes on the first Monday and would call either myself or my husband. I answer the phone and he’d meet one of us over there and he goes into each unit. In one building, we never really had that big of an insect trouble but it’s good to have a preventive measure.

    The other building, when we bought it in 2010, was crawling with bugs and it was awful. We spent a lot of time trying to kill them off and then Terminix came in. We got such a good deal on the building but it was terrible. Terminix came every two weeks for a year and as time went by, there were fewer and fewer insects. Now we just do it as a preventive measure in that building. We cut back to once a month after the bugs were pretty much gone. And then about two years ago, we cut back to once every two months like the other building because we didn’t see insects there anymore.

    One time we had a horrible infestation in a building and Terminix went in and got rid of it. It was like a bad B horror movie after the woman left because she was mentally ill. That place was just crawling with insects and Terminix raised the temperature of the place up to a certain point and got rid of the bugs, roaches, and other things. There were lots and lots of spiders in there too, as well as ants.

    Daryl was the first tech that we had and he was with us for a couple of years. He was a Canadian in his 60’s. He retired and moved to Atlanta. Then we had a young man, Bill, for about five years and he’s wonderful too. They’re both very good. Terminix also provides a service once a year where they inspect both of our apartment buildings and look for termites. It’s not an old building and you wanna have that inspected. There are some independent ones around who also do this business and I think they might be good. But with independent companies, they could go out of business. It just happens a lot of times here and then when you need them, they’re not in business anymore. I’m happy with Terminix and I have recommended them. They know what they’re doing and they’re good.

    The last time I've had Terminix, it was perfect. They told me someone was coming to look around and evaluate what I needed. The rep came and said I had no termites, but I had flying ants.     I've been with Terminix a little over a year and they come out twice a year. Aside from that, I call them anytime I need them and that scheduling process is pretty straightforward. I just call the number and then they would send someone out in a day or two. They would also tell me when they’re coming. And anytime I've needed someone to come here, they've come and they’re usually pretty good. They’ll put the things on their shoes so they’re not walking through your home and dirtying it up, and that's appreciated. All of the technicians have been very good people.

    Most recently, I had ants with the season changing and the gentleman came when he said he would come. He sprayed the house and put down something for the ants. The situation has definitely gotten better and I’m not seeing ants as much. It's working and I was going to call again. Keep up the good work, Terminix. Keep on being available.

    Terminix had this account with us for the 12 years I had been here and I didn’t have any problems except for the central office. Their office here in the Kansas City had a bozo running the place, and he wasn’t customer oriented. It was just awful. I went through six months of hell two years ago and had to spend an inordinate amount of time trying to solve the issue. Then I ended up having to call Nashville ServiceMaster headquarters. It took me three days to get through to somebody and get that taken care of. Then I was finally getting somebody that gave a hoot about this account and treated me like I was somebody respectable. I had the technician on this account for eight years but unfortunately, he left because he got screwed over by Terminix so he bailed and went back to North Dakota.

    After that, I went through about six different technicians. It was a different one every month and I had to break them in and it was extraordinarily frustrating. Finally, we got this wonderful technician who was doing a wonderful job, though every month I would just live in fear that some bozo would change the route and not allow him to service this account.

    It’s a miracle I have stayed with Terminix, but I get good service because the technician I’ve been blessed with is a wonderful individual, very knowledgeable, does a great job. But organization-wise, Terminix stinks. Heaven forbids, you have to do with anybody at the office. You can’t reach anybody. You can’t call the office. They never return your phone calls. But when I get a technician, we exchange cellphone numbers and we have a wonderful relationship. I ran a Bed and Breakfast and if the schedule for the monthly service doesn’t work because I got guest, I will talk to him and say that there’s a conflict and we'll reschedule it for the next day. He’s accommodating and he takes care of the account because he knows we have a unique situation. I speak highly of Terminix because of his ability and with that, I'm proud of him.

    My wife signed a year contract when we bought our home. They were supposed to spray for ants and spiders. Which I guess didn't work. I worked in pest control as a boy under my father…rule 1: DO NOT TREAT WHEN IT’S RAINING. When does our tech show up? WHEN IT’S RAINING! What does Terminix do when we try to reschedule? They threaten us. Telling us we have to take the service during bad weather (when the poison will be washed away) or, orrrr, cancel our account and pay a fee. Stay far away from Terminix. Stick with mom and pop outfits.

    Terminix representative did not show up on a scheduled appointment. The second day he missed the rescheduled appointment. When I called, there was no apology or refund. The customer service representative was unhelpful, her supervisor - worse. The situation is still unresolved. I hope he will show for the third appointment. And the treatment of my property by Terminix did not work to start with. I still have ants...

    Updated on 05/22/2018: After two no-shows by Terminix representative, I called to schedule the third appointment. It was scheduled. Nobody came for the third time. I cancelled the contract with Terminix.

    Terminix is really good and I would tell others to use them. Our tech arrives early, walks through the apartment and gets everything done. We have nine buildings and he does the main parts of three buildings every third Friday of every month. He’s pretty good. When we’ve had issues with bed bugs, he was on top of that too. When we were dealing with that, he would come into the office, let us know what he had done, and when he would be back out.

    Terminix was extremely efficient and communicative about coming to inspect the two termite buildings which fortunately turned out to be not termite buildings. I have a contract with them and they come every year to make sure there are no termites. They've got some system now that was much better than last year wherein they would email constantly and tell they'd be coming and when they're on the doorstep. They are very personable and seem to know what they're doing. They look carefully with their flashlight, say everything's fine and go away.

    I just restarted my service quarterly with Terminix and scheduling was a bit of trouble because they had some things incorrect on my account which should have been straightened out a long time ago. I finally got it scheduled and they came out for the standard pest control service. Everything was fine until I got my bill because it wasn’t what they told me it was gonna be. I spoke with someone on a couple of my calls. Then I spoke with an associate that was supposed to come out to my house for some other type of inspection that I never scheduled. I told him of my concerns and he let me know that he would reach out to someone to see if he could get someone to call me back to resolve the matter. I have also left a couple messages for a supervisor to call me back but I have yet to receive a call so I’ll be following up with them sometime this week.

    As a company, they provide quality service but their customer service has got to match that, and right now, it’s not. It used to be great and just be ready if you’re going to try to get service with them to stay on what you’re being told, that you’re actually being billed with what you’re told and that people are treating you accordingly. My technician was great but the service that I received administratively has dampened my opinion of Terminix. I’ve had dealings with them since I bought my house and everything has been just fine and right until my most recent experience. I’m not used to not getting responses from Terminix and not having them resolve issues. I have nothing but good feedback from them previously but this has been different. Once I get it resolved, I probably won’t continue my service because of this, because this has been too much and I will not recommend them if they’re gonna do someone else like this.

    In January or February 2017 Terminix came and inspected for bedbugs. Then came back and treated with heating my trailer to 130 degrees. Then came back out and did spot treatment a couple weeks after this. The bugs were gone for maybe two months. I didn't have the encasements but on my mattress and boxsprings because the only bed was a hospital bed and its mattress is encased already with no boxspring. I still got only a 30 day guarantee. I don't have the option to just call them back. I live on less than $750 a month. Someone donated the money for the treatment. So we tried setting bombs off. Then using mineral spirits and that worked pretty well but we didn't continue. Plus got rid of most of my furniture. That helped for a while. Then they were back. I struggle with them. Stopped going anywhere. Would go weeks without seeing another human.

    I got desperate and called Terminix. My church donated part of the money and I went on Facebook and told everyone on my friends list my situation begging for the remaining money. I got it and on February 21, 2018 Chase came with his supervisor and did the heat treatment again. I depend on Medicaid transportation to go to medical appointments. I got suspended until the bugs were gone. So prior to the treatment I called Chase and told him my transportation worker would need something faxed to her telling her I no longer had bugs. He told me that was no problem. This had been done before. That he'd have to come back out in one to two weeks after treatment and inspect. They came and did the treatment. As they were finishing Chase and his supervisor were standing near where I was sitting and I mentioned about my transportation worker and when would the inspection be.

    The supervisor said one week. Chase came back and did a cursory inspection and said he would call my caseworker the next day. It was a couple weeks before I needed to schedule to go to an appointment. My caseworker calls and she'd never received anything from Terminix. I call and the receptionist wasn't there so someone took the information down. I hadn't heard back so I called again. She had called my case worker but only knew who I was talking about after I explained it in detail. She told me they did not verify that they had gotten rid of the bugs because that would leave them legally liable. They do a job and inspect then won't stand behind their work. She tells me the branch manager will call me. I wait a while and call again. My caseworker calls and she got nowhere.

    I called Terminix back to see why the branch manager hadn't called me back. I was told he'd talked to my case worker and they don't verify there are no bugs because then they'd be legally liable. I have never dealt with a ruder, more hateful, with no compassion and lack of professionalism from someone in customer service then this woman was. I explained I had chronic health problems and would have no way to the doctor. All I got was, “We can't help you.” So I called the next business day to request a copy of my contract and anything I signed because I was not given one. I asked for them to be emailed immediately and then a hard copy mailed to me. When I hadn't received the email by 3:15 I called and got voicemail. When I hadn't heard back in an hour I called again. I was told that she had my email on her desk in front of her but she was by herself and had been too busy. I have yet to receive either the email or hard copy.

    Their heat treatment is supposed to be so effective that they are back. Not bad yet but there has been too much money wasted for their supposedly effective service. I have brought nothing used in my home and have been to doctor appointments and store. They temporarily do get rid of them but not entirely. They are not honest. Yes they discounted the price because of my income. I am very grateful for that. Would be even more grateful if they actually got rid of all the bugs and eggs or backed their work. They know it takes longer than the 30 day guarantee for the bugs to mature. I can't afford to get my place treated so I hoped some of the things I've found online work. Do not let this company treat your home for bedbugs because they don't know what they're doing.

    We have a contract with Terminix and they spray quarterly. The technician himself calls me before he comes and makes sure it’s convenient and he knows the house. We have an enclosed backyard so he always lets me know specifically what time he’ll be here so I can unlock it. And then when he’s done, he leaves a note on my front door and lets me know if there’s any problem or anything that he had to do differently. The pest activity is mostly outside the house and we were having a problem with ants and termites in our fence but they took care of everything. We don’t have any activity anymore and if we do, they’ll come back and spray again to make sure that that activity goes away.

    Last summer we had fleas. So, we had Terminix come and they did our house for us. Then we signed up to have them come a few times a year just to keep everything okay. After I called them, the fleas were definitely gone. Ever since then, they come and knock down spider webs and other stuff. Terminix has made a difference around the outside of the house too.     I was a new potential customer after discovering damage to my house and live termites. I had an appointment for a 7-9 window for an inspection and damage assessment. Their employee was a no-call, no-show for the appointment. I called the national number and they gave me the tech’s phone #. He didn’t answer at 8:30 or 8:58. At 9 I called back and got someone different in customer service. She verified my address and tried to call him. He didn’t answer. I was told that all they could do is reschedule. I did so but this is a horrible way to start a relationship with a potential client. Terminix will need to prove themselves to me because now I am very wary regarding their reliability.

    My boss recommended Terminix. He's had it for a long time and said, "I never see a wasp." So as fast as I could, I got on the phone and called Terminix to come visit. My husband and I took off from work, but they didn't show up. They said that they inspected for termites, but there was no inspection. They wanted to spray for termites, but I didn't know if I had termites and I never found out. They also said something about getting in the attic and underneath the house. But the guy who came out and sprayed for wasps told me he didn't do that. He was also supposed to come back but he didn't show up. And they never did the 12-point.

    The only thing I knew is that he wanted to sell me this stuff to spray the wood with because of the moisture. I didn't want to fool with it anymore. I hated to have to cancel because I needed the service, but I couldn't get one with them and I was doing all the work. I didn't even know if I got anything for what I paid for because I still have wasps. And now, I don't have anybody.

    It’s very easy scheduling a service with Terminix and I simply email Josh, our rep. He has come out to do other things that we had but the one that we’re doing right now, it’s not him performing the service. We had Terminix out for a rat issue and we’re in the final stage of them getting rid of it. We’re in the Greenwood Village and they started digging up the streets around us and the rats were living under the street so they all ran to everywhere around here. All of a sudden, it became an issue. It was something that just happened to everybody around here and now, it’s almost totally under control. Since we’re baiting for rats, the activity goes up but when they eat the bait, then it does down. The technicians are all very professional and they respond right away.     One of my neighbors uses Terminix and my mommy used them when she was out in Nevada, so I went with them too. I've been having good results with Terminix. Terminix has a reasonable price for the service that they do. The technicians are really nice and explain everything, and they come back as much as I need them to. We were having mice problems and the technician has been trying to get rid of them. So far, he has made two house visits. Recently, he came when he was supposed to and he was very professional. He reset the traps, explained some things to my wife, and he did what he was supposed to. Since the service, the pest activity in our home has dropped dramatically, if it has not been gotten rid of entirely. But I have to call and set up another schedule when Terminix would come back.

    Terminix is contracted for regular service to spray to keep the bugs out. Last year, the technician showed me outside where there was an ant issue. He went into that in depth and he made recommendations for how to take care of it. I had no idea what the best way to take care of bugs before that but he did some paperwork on it and I told him I'd relay it on. The treasurer or the president decided that they would do some spraying on their own instead of contracting with Terminix for that. But the technician did an excellent job on that. He is always professional too. This morning, he showed up, did the spraying that was necessary and did what was expected. Aside from him, there were one or two times that there was somebody different who came.

    I’ve been with Terminix for 16 years. I really like Joe, our tech and it’s one of those good things. When you work with somebody for a while you don’t want them to change. I really like my Terminix people. They are responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. They have a routine service and then they all run out if the ants are taking over. They get back to me and communicate right away. I have my tech's cell number and he always answers the phone. That’s how great he is.     We have monthly service with Terminix for pest control and rodents. We signed a contract and they put a date then they schedule the technician to come out on the exact date and do the service. We've had Terminix for five years and the pest issue has been getting better. But we actually skipped Terminix for one year and we went with another pest control company. But this new manager came out and said we would not go with the same issue we had before so right now we're good. He is really good. We had some issues with the technician who’s been doing the pest control in our property. Our tenant reported to us and we also noticed that the technician was skipping some of the units. He would sign off of the paper that he’s been there and did the pest control but he hasn’t been there in reality. This was the third complaint we've made. So I spoke with the manager last week and he said he would follow up on that.

    I have two homes and I have Terminix service with both of them. We’re on the quarterly schedule with them. The guy down in Georgia is extremely good. I like that he calls en route. We don’t have any bugs as he takes care of all them, goes around the outside for spiders. I've told him to be careful because there were some wasps in a bush and he said, “No problem.” And took care of it. I've also had a problem with a mouse and he set out traps in several different spots.

    Over here in Overland Park, Kansas, we’ve had silverfish that just popped up in the last two weeks and it was really bad. We called and they’re coming tomorrow. In the past, we found that when they get really bad, the best thing to do is to put one of those bombs in the attic and it takes care of them for six months or longer. The tech didn’t mind doing it and did a good job with that. I provided a good ladder for him and he got up everywhere and set off the bomb. We've also had ant problems and he did a good job with that as well.

    A few little mice got into my garage and my basement so I had Terminix come out. They did the work right away. It went fast and just what I wanted. There were a couple of holes around the house and they filled them all in for me. The technician, Joseph, was a very polite young man, who took his time to explain things to us. They put traps around for me in the attic and basement and so far we haven't seen any mice. The people at Terminix were all very nice and excellent. They took time and went out of their way for me in a few things. I’m 90 years old and partially blind so any help I can get I appreciate.

    The last time a Terminix tech was here was last month. He’s very good. He comes monthly, does what he has to do and then leaves. We’re at the bottom floor of the property, so once in a while, we’d get a spider or so. But other than that, it's pretty good. If anyone needs the service, I'd tell them to call Terminix.

    We have house mouse and requested for professional help from Terminix to remove them. A Terminix technician came and brought snap and glue traps and set them in our kitchen, living room and garage. Seriously? If it was that easy to get rid of them why would I need your help? You’re not doing anything different than what I already am doing. It’s been 5 days since the tech came out. Traps are in and mice roaming, none in the traps. Maybe your service is only good for termites, not rodents. Extremely disappointed! I should have save my $186.07 to buy more traps for every room and corner of my house.

    I contacted Terminix a year ago because I noticed that every year around spring time I get these strange looking flies in my basement. After the inspection they told me these are swarmers and that termite treatment was needed. I signed up for the very expensive treatment. Now a year later I have the same problem just a couple of weeks after they came for their yearly inspection and assure me that everything was ok. I called them twice last week looking for an explanation both times the customer service rep, located in other states, assured me that the local office will call me and follow up with me which never happened. I tried to reach the local office myself but they never picked up. Now, I’m waiting to see what they tell me on Monday, that is if they keep the appointment I was forced to make to get an answer after they pretty much lied to me in their inspection.

    I have been a loyal Terminix Maui customer for over a decade. Love their quarterly pest control but forget their Ultimate Termite Protection plan. My house was tented seven years ago. Have been having to call a termite tech to come out 3x annually for the past 2 1/2 years. I had excessive termite droppings since March 2017. Termite inspector swore it was old droppings even though there appeared to be a lot of termite damage. He spot treated.

    I dug around and found live larvae and newborn swarmers in our sub-flooring. Had to have the entire section of the floor removed, along with part of the wall and exterior fascia. Terminix manager said a tech would be by to spray the perimeter of the sub-flooring before new flooring was put on. Never came and now since they could not see any damage, there was no reason for treating or tenting. Meanwhile called another company who found sections with kick holes and evidence of live termites and suggested tenting. Terminix manager said his fumigation manager would stop by. FIVE MONTHS LATER, NO ONE.

    Updated on 05/18/2018: After posting my initial complaint about missed signs of termite infestation, unkept promise of sending someone to treat our subfloor after repairing damage and unkept promise to send out a fumigation manager - Terminix Corp. contacted me to see if I would like to hear from someone. Said YES, and AGAIN, NO ONE EVER CONTACTED ME. THEY LISTED THE COMPLAINT AS RESOLVED AND IT IS NOT.

    I don’t understand why Terminix can’t get the scheduling straight. We told them in the very beginning that we didn’t want the technicians here until after 4 o’clock. We live out in the country where there are always pests and we want the inside and the outside sprayed every time. That’s why they can come after 4 o’clock. Nobody's home ‘till then. But every time they've scheduled the service in the morning. I get an email saying that they’re scheduled to be here at such time then I have to call and tell them no. It’s a pain 'cause I have to do it every time. That aside, the technicians do a great job overall. Over the years, we've had six different technicians and we’ve always had good interactions with them.

    Every three months, Terminix comes for basic termination and general maintenance. If I need them before then, I always call. A few termites tried to get in, then Terminix came and I haven't seen anything since. The termites weren’t able to take over the whole house as even before they got in the house, they were dying, so it was good. Terminix was on time, they walked me through the whole process, made sure that I had a good understanding and they cleaned up after. They were also very professional. I really like this company and so far, it’s been a good experience with them. In fact, I’m trying to get some of my neighbors to invest in Terminix.

    Terminix was very easy to work with. Recently they called and said they were having someone come out for free and do an inspection for termites. So they checked the attic and then recommended some insulation. So I just went and did it. The insulation wasn't free though. Other than that, their technician was very helpful.

    Terminix is out here every week and so far, everything is going great. But we’re having problems that there is a delay in getting our bills. Also, the writing on the bill is really small. We have to blow them up to be able to read some of them. Recently, we started having a lot more apartments for them to treat but it could be because of the weather. We’re fairly new with using them but everything is going well.

    The first guy who came, Eric, was a excellent worker. More recently, the nice guy who did the service was really courteous. He did the inside and outside and I wouldn't mind calling him back out and reservice my home again. I called Terminix to reschedule an appointment with reopening my account. They told me it was closed and I needed some service to get my house sprayed out, so I called them back. My interaction with the technician who came out was fine. They called me, they let me know what time they're coming and what time they made it to the town, and they were on time. He was a real good person, besides the one that just came this time. And the pest situation since then has been better, so it's great and I was satisfied. The Terminix team did a wonderful job and I would recommend both Eric and the other guy.

    Terminix came out to check my newly purchased home for termites, in my inspection prior to buying they found termite trails, they did not know if they were active at that time. Terminix told me they were active and gave me a ridiculously expensive quote, I decided to have a second opinion, also in search for lower price. The small business owner told me they were not active that he in fact had treated for termites prior to the foreclosure of my home. Terminix is committing fraud, don’t trust them, and don’t pay the extra $1,100 dollars they would have charged me. They should be sued for what they do to people for money!

    It has been over 7 years since we are dealing with Terminix and none of the 7 years have been easy. From the very beginning we were disappointing but we had already signed the contract to rent the house and could do nothing about it and since then we have had nothing but one bad experience after another when making appointments for our annual inspection. We make the appointment, then we confirm it and in this most recent appointment we received an e-mail from Terminix dated 4 days before the appointment reminding us that we have an appointment and to be sure that someone is at home to give them access to the interior of the house and yet no one showed up. Then when we called we are told we did not make an appointment. It has now been 5 days, 6 phone calls and 2 e-mails later and no one has contacted us to resolve this issue. Is this service?

    Updated on 05/27/2018: I had to choose a star rating in order to submit this review but the rating provided does not apply - not even a negative 0 would apply in this case. This is an ongoing situation - Terminix did not show up for the first scheduled appointment on 4/28/18 and after numerous phone calls and an eventual review submitted a manager called and still he did not follow through on his promises yet they kept reporting to Consumers Affairs that the problem was resolved. We had to keep calling and eventually got another appointment for 5/26/18 and the same thing has happened again.

    The technician did not show up nor did anyone call. Once again we received an e-mail on 5/22/18 confirming the appointment and a voicemail was left on 5/24/18 with the same information. We called on 5/25/18 to confirm with a live person that we actually do have this appointment and that a technician will actually show up and we were assured that the technician will show up. Well, here we are once again and on top of this Terminix had the audacity to send us an e-mail and paper mail telling us our contract has expired.

    I have had my termite bond with Terminix for many years. This year has been horrible. One they never called to set up my renewal visit as they normally do. I had to call the 800 and wait 15 minutes on the phone to get to someone to make an appointment. All in all on this ordeal I have spent about 2 hours waiting for someone to come on the line so I can find out what is going on with my appointment. Finally my appointment was set up for April 30th between 8 and 10. We waited at home until 11 and no one showed up. I called the toll free number for Terminix (waiting again about 20 minutes before I got to anyone) and they told me the branch manager had changed my appointment to between 3 and 5. He never called to tell me this by the way. Again we waited.

    At 4:55 I called the toll free number again and they put me through to the technician. She told me she had been given too many jobs that day and was not coming. Not only was she not coming but no one was going to call me to let me know this information. I wasted a total of 6 hours on Monday and still no termite treatment. I asked for the branch manager number in Panama City, Fl so I could call and complain. Yes they gave it to me but guess what? When I dial the number I get sent right back to the Terminix number that I have I just got his number from... I was promised they would be there in the morning at 8. We will see. I hope so because I do have a job.

    Terminix came to service the exterior of my home yesterday. I work from home and really wanted to cancel so to not be disrupted while on conference calls. The tech insisted on at least treating the exterior of my home. The tech neglected to close one of the back gates to my yard, one that we don't operate, is always closed, and is not visible from our back porch. Since my yard is completely enclosed, I regularly let my dogs roam our yard freely. Because of the tech's negligence, my German Shepherd left our yard and was hit by a car. He's now in the hospital fighting for his life. I've been waiting hours for a manager to return several calls I have made since last night. I will NEVER do business with this company again.

    Paid them for 20 years, since 1998 for protection against termites. Accidentally found damage, took them 7 months to respond to me, and they have a clause that says if they can't see a live termites, then any damage is considered old damage and not their responsibility. I believe that if this damage was present before I hired them my house would have crumbled to the ground by now. So their guarantee is worthless! Paid them all these years for nothing! Wasted $40-60,000. And my house was brand new, built in 1997.

    We were sold a “guaranteed” pest contract. Nearly a year and a thousand dollars later and we were told today that in order to get rid of the bugs they need us to pay another $500!!! No way to talk to anyone except the call center who sold us the previous bill of goods.

    I frustratingly had to call Terminix four days in a row (one being Sunday so the local branch wasn't open) to get the branch manager to call me back. Once I did they got someone out the next day. I showed them where the termite swarms were coming from. They ended up doing a liquid treatment under my garage. So far I haven't seen any swarms but it has only been a few days so we will see how round 2 goes.

So as long as I am shelling out the cash you can make it but when you need to honor our agreement because your treatment didn't work you are busy...

    The inspection is part of our contract with Terminix. Somebody from their office called us and asked when it would be a good time for the tech to come by and do the inspection. The tech who came out was very kind, courteous, pleasant, upbeat, cheerful, and professional. He did what he had to do and answered any questions that I had. He also explained a few things which had already been explained to us before, but we were pleased. Then the guy left his card and thanked us, and he told me to give him a call if I had any problems. It was the second time that we’ve had this gentleman come by and he was perfect in what he was doing. Since the service call, we don't have any pest activity in our home that I know of.     A service person from Terminix came over and did his usual routine thing. I walked around with him as he checked the different traps and then he went outside for the bugs. Initially, we bought a brand new home but we never had any issues until three years ago. And then, I noticed mice in the garage. We have an attached garage and I’ve been using the store-bought over-the-shelf product to dispatch the mice in the garage that we seemed to get every year. So, when they outlawed that product that I found useless, I reached out to Terminix. Since I had Terminix out, we checked out those traps and I’ve been with them looking over their shoulder while they were doing that and it seemed it figured out the problem. I’m curious now as the weather warms up if there’s any activity on the two different bait cubes that Terminix had. I also got four traps in the garage on each corner because that’s where I used to see the activity.

    During the start, the technicians dusted in the basement. There were a couple different service people who came out and very clumsily, they turned those boxes or traps upside down and I had to pick up a couple of them because I’ve got some grandkids. I wasn’t happy with the piggy habit that a couple of the technicians had. It was a sloppy dangerous play that they handled that poison. And I told them that it doesn’t matter if it was just dust, it’s poison and even the droppings aren’t good. They dumped it all over the place here and all over the kids’ toys. I won’t allow my grandkids to play on those toys until it warms up. So, I got them outside and washed the toys. Another thing was when one of the service people came over here and when the service person commenced, he found a dead mouse and he left a dirty, stinking, filthy dead mouse on my computer desk.

    Also, when I initially had that Terminix person over in my house, we discussed service payment. And he told me that his computer didn’t work. So, I paid cash money for the service and he assured me that he was gonna have a receipt e-mailed to me. I asked him if he hasn’t carried any receipt book. They print receipts in the truck. I told them they should carry a receipt book in any event that computers and printers go down. He made sure that I’ll get the receipt but it took me months calling the local office chasing that stuff. It took my persistence to clear it up because the corporate office didn’t know. They kept sending me bills threatening to collect, and I don’t want my credit ruined over this. Also, it took much of my personal effort as a customer to make it right. There should have been somebody on the ball who should have taken care of this in the first place.

    But then, I got a young service tech who has been coming to my house for seven months and he’s the perfect gentleman. He is very good, very clean, well dressed and well spoken. He carries the company’s name professionally. And if there’s any merit that the company gives these people for working, he’s one individual that I would consider if I was in the company. He deserves it. The company benefits from people like him. The company doesn’t benefit when they get people dragging their feet, moping around, and dumping debris on people’s property. That was not right.

    Moreover, I’m still not convinced that my puppy didn’t suffer from some of the poison. The dog was fine before the technicians started the service and then I had to run the dog to the vet six times before it was decided to put her down because it was very bad. The puppy died after the start of the service. I told the guy and nobody wants to hear that.

    I saw a swarm of termites in my house and I called Terminix and I wanted the local office. I would rather deal with the local office as opposed to the call center and talk to the local guys better. The call center put me up with the local office and then the reps set up the appointment. The technician came out a day or two later. He was on time and friendly. He looked at the termites and understood the situation. He saw where they were coming in and he treated it.

    The termites swarm around like flies and they might come in or they might not so the method that the technician used kind of didn’t work. But there's not much that one can do to stop the termites completely. The Terminix team came back about a week later and they're gonna re-contact me about another method that we're gonna use so I'm waiting to hear from them. Terminix is a good company to sign up with.

    We had an invasion of ants and this is the fourth time that Terminix has been out to spray for them. I signed for a yearlong service and I’ve been with this company for about six weeks. They’ve been out for the initial basic treatment which I was disappointed on because the tech told me that normally he would do two different things. But it was raining that day so he just did one and told me that it should take care of the problem because it works really well. The second time he came out he did the two treatments that he should have done initially but used a stronger poison. Then the third time he did the outside again. I thought he would go all the way around the house just to make sure because we don’t know where the ants were coming in but he just did the wall that the kitchen wall is on. He also did a couple dabs of stuff in the interior in the window itself where he thought they were coming in.

    Yesterday he went underneath the house, sprayed a lot on the whole window, the window sill and all the tracks. He didn’t do the countertop which I was surprised because there were ants crawling there but they seemed to be under control at the moment, but that’s happened every time they’ve come out. It sort of works for a few days and then they're back. Each time he’s done more and more. It would seem that they should be a little more aggressive to start. So I was a little disappointed in that.

    Also when I called the main number it was awful and they put me out approximately a week. The third time I had a guy come out, he gave me his number and told me to just call directly. So I did and I assumed that that would be okay and that we can get somebody out the next day but it was two days later. So it still wasn’t really very good when I'm dealing with ants invading my kitchen. I'm hoping that the last treatment solves the problem because I'm on the verge of canceling Terminix if it doesn’t.

    Terminix was out to our home checking our termite protection. Whenever they schedule a service, they call us and schedule their time to come and we either say yay or nay. And they'll say they're not coming inside so if we're not there, they'll service it outside. Dealing with their technicians has been good. The technician comes by and tells us what he's done 'cause we're usually here and he just checks. One time he said that he can't find all of the bait that they put all the way around the house and I said that I guess our grass has grown totally over them. But he worked it out, gotten everything and fixed what we need. We have no termites or bugs. Terminix services you and get out of the way and they take care of business. We've had a very good experience. Terminix is a 5-star company.

    Terminix inspection are useless, it has been over a month since I've had technicians come over to check for entryways to see where and how squirrels are getting inside the walls of my house and every time they come they tell me they see no holes, although on two occasions I had to asked them repeatedly to check somewhere and when they finally did, they found two huge holes. However I still hear the squirrels inside my walls which means there are more holes they are unwilling to or can't find.

    This morning I had an appointment that was extremely disappointing. The technicians who came over made me feel like I was bothering them. I don't like Terminix coming over my house repeatedly either because it's embarrassing for my neighbors to see pest control over my house every time, but I expect professionalism, respect, understanding and patience when I do call for a service because after all I'm paying for it and they're not doing the job for free. Also from the first day they did job wrong because the technician they sent over got wrong information and did not know he was here to deal with squirrels getting into my walls.

    I had more cockroaches so I called Terminix and the man came and set some poison. He told me what he was gonna do and we had a fine interaction. Since then, I have found a dead bug but I haven’t seen any live ones. I’m gonna call them again in a week or so because I will be going away for six months and I want them to treat it again.     Monday 23 April 2018, I call Terminix to discuss if they do Home Termite Inspections for refinancing, the girl asks for my information which I provide and then tells me a local service branch would contact me to set up the inspection. Well before our conversation ended I asked her much this would cost? She quoted me $224 and told me it was because of license and bonding is why the charge, I told her that I would get back to them that it sounded high.

    Well no one called from their branch so I called another pest business and scheduled an inspection for $79. Wouldn't you know that Terminix shows up at the house and with my wife expecting an inspector she lets him proceed. I would not have known that it was Terminix but they emailed me, because that was part of the phone conversation that I had with the young lady. So thinking that it was the other company I had called to come in that he may be affiliated I called him and asked if he had been to the house. "Nope but I will be there this afternoon".

    Needless to say I called Terminix and asked who authorize them to proceed with the inspection and I told them no one had called me back and that I was upset they proceeded without my authorization prior to them showing up at my doorstep. I also told them they needed to cancel the card transaction and that I was calling my creditor and canceling the credit card transaction which basically meant I had to cancel my card with my creditor. They got my wife to agree to a quarterly contract and would charge the credit card every three months and if we wanted to cancel we had to mail in a cancellation notice.

    Lesson here is not to give them any of your information until you get a quote first. The other pest company told me when he heard it was Terminix, he told me they do that a lot to get you stuck in a contract, he should know he used to work for them. I passed the contract on to Consumer Affairs and I removed all my information.

    I used to be with another company that Terminix purchased. It was more of an organic company, and the chemicals they used were not harmful to animals, even small pets. The insect activity is seasonal, but they weren’t very effective when it came to the ants but with everything else, they have done a good job. They used to do the overall sweeping where they would take a big long broom and they would sweep around the house, the doors and the edges where the patio is. They would get rid of all the cobwebs and big bulky moths. They did a nice job, but when Terminix took over, they don’t do that anymore. Other than that, Terminix comes out quarterly and they call me a day before they arrive and then they do their service.

    I've been using Terminix for about three years. Scheduling has been very easy. They come four times a year and it's the same guy every time. We can schedule it online if we have to change it, but he'll call us the day before and say, "I'm gonna be there tomorrow between this time and this time." I don't have to be here for him so he'll just let us know when he's coming. And then, he comes, does his thing and he leaves. We originally had carpenter ants, but I haven't seen any since. He also found a couple of additional things when he was here and he took care of them without any questions.

    My experience with my salesman was great, he told me that Terminix would take care of my mole and vole problem. What he did not tell me is that the company had a terrible communication problem within the company. I did not have a problem with the 800 employees the 3 times I called to tell them that I waited for the tech to come between the two hours alotted twice. I wanted to be there to make sure that I saw what I was paying for. The first appointment, I am not sure what he did because there was not an appointment. The second no show, and the tech manually changed the appointment without my knowledge, the third one showed up late, and treated for bugs around the exterior of my house, luckily I drove up when he was getting ready to leave.

    He said that he went ahead and treated for pest around the exterior of my house. I told him that the treatment was for moles and voles showed him where. He said that he saw that in my info but didn't have the treatment for them with him and wanted to make another appointment with another tech to do that treatment. He then asked me to sign for the pest he treated for, I wouldn't. Oh here is the clencher, he said that my phone number was not in my information so he couldn't call me to inform me he would be late. Why is that? Everytime I called the 800 number they had it and I had to verify it. This whole process was a waste of my precious time. I would have rated no stars but I had to give the salesman something. Too bad the other associates were a nightmare.

    I've used Terminix service off and on for the last seven years. The last time we restarted, it's been two years and we have a quarterly service from them. But our technician has always been Felipe even though we've taken a break, changed properties and stopped service, which we appreciate. We asked him to spray for ants inside because we saw ants in the dining room. Felipe reached out a few days before to make sure it was a good time for the service and asked if there was anything special we needed at the time. And on the day that he was scheduled to come, he communicated with us through a text message to let us know he was coming. They were prepared, he took care of spraying inside the house and the regular service that he does on the exterior. And then, he followed up after the fact that he was done to make sure that everything was okay and asked if there was anything else we needed. So, it was a good experience, as usual.

    I haven't seen ants back, so the problem that we had at the time was taken care of. In the past, we've had other issues like fleas in the yard. We live in a neighborhood where there's a lot of deer and raccoons and we have a dog that goes in and out of the house. So, that's important to take care of and whenever we see anything like that, we got special service to make sure that that could be taken care and it always has. So, we've had a good experience.

    I was with another group and I had their service for over 25 years. Terminix bought them out and scheduling has not been good. Somebody called to try to come and do an analysis for termites and I didn't need and want it. I just needed my regular pest control. It's spring time and a service man was supposed to come a couple of weeks ago. I was looking for them on the 9th of April and they didn't show up. Nobody called or, "I am gonna be over." I was here at the house all day so I know they didn't come. That has happened a couple of times.

    Usually, somebody calls the night before and let me know that they're coming. Whoever told me they were coming on the 9th were calling me for some other kind of service they wanted to do and told me that my regular service would be here on that 9th. But I don't have any big problems and I'm not that upset about it. But if they wait until the end of spring, I will be concerned. The guy who came out in the winter was fine but right now, I'm very dissatisfied because they didn't keep their appointment and nobody has called me to follow up.

    I've always had excellent and professional technicians. We've had Wilson for quite a while now and he is very good and thorough. He goes through things and he does what he's supposed to do. Then when he leaves, he always says to me, “If you have any problems between visits, don’t hesitate to call me.” He's very considerate, very professional, and at the same time, a very nice person. Whenever I have a service call, I get an email from Terminix, then the day before Wilson will call to confirm. He'll tell me, "You're scheduled for tomorrow, is that okay for you?” One time, however, our power went out so we went out to get something to eat and we totally forgot that Wilson was coming. When we got home, there was a little thing in my door. I called him right away and apologized, and he was very nice and very gracious. He said, “Don’t worry about it. We'll just reschedule.” We then picked another date, and he came back the next week.

    My problem however was with their office. One time, they gave me a time and assigned me one of the technicians. But that guy didn't come. Then that guy came, he showed me right on his little handheld computer what he was scheduled for. But I understood that because they were moving the internal works from one place to another, things were getting really screwed up. Then once, they raised prices and they never told me about it. I wasn't prepared for it. Then again, the last time, my payment went off and nobody told me. It was very inconsiderate. We're senior citizens and we live on our Social Security. Every penny is budgeted. If something’s gonna go up $5, I need to know that. But Wilson told me that if we were not told about rate hikes, he'd just charge us the old rate, which he did.

    I’m on a schedule with Terminix where they come out ever so often, and recently, they came out to do service around the house. They put some stuff for the fire ants around the house and sprayed to make sure there were no bugs. I’ve had three different technicians but all of them have always been really nice. They let us know if they see anything that was a concern and they try to explain to me if I ask them questions.

    When we first moved, we had a problem with big wood roaches. There wasn't a lot of them but every night one would show up in the house. We got a patio room that's got windows in it and they were getting in around a crack of an air conditioner that was there. Terminix sprayed and put some foam around the air conditioner to seal the cracks and after that, the only other problem I’ve had were spiders. They tried to look for them and spray them because they said you almost have to make a direct hit on spiders to get rid of them. Terminix is a good company. Their pricing is kind of expensive but your house is kind of expensive too.

    We get a monthly service from Terminix and they've been pretty easy to get a hold of when we need them to come for an emergency service. We had some issues with scheduling for a couple of months last year. The technician was giving reports that he came but he didn't come. That happened quite a few times late into last year and until February this year. I got in contact with Rory, the owner of the franchise, when that was going on and he took care of all that stuff. It hasn't happened since.

    The interactions with the technician were pretty generic. He doesn’t really talk much when he comes out. I appreciate his professionalism, coming out, and not bothering me while I’m working because I’m the leader of the store here. I have to work at the store and then deal with all that stuff, too, and I appreciate when he doesn’t try to interrupt. Some of the other vendors are not so nice. The most recent time they came was pretty standard. The technician came in, sprayed his stuff around, and checked the traps. Everything has been pretty well under control since. We never had a major problem. We had a couple of mice last year but we took care of it quickly. We haven't seen any since then which is good. Also, we’re having a little bit of issue with flying pest but it’s that time of the year and I expect that to happen.

    After requesting a home pest inspection, it was recommended that I tent and repair damaged wood. Easy to understand as I handed the sales rep a detailed six month old inspection report. Since it was what I expected, and I was told my price was very competitive because I was also asking a tough competitor to bid, we cut the deal. Pictures were even taken to ensure quality. The day before work was to begin I still hadn't received the written report and work order I signed electronically, so escalated and received what appeared to be a very limited scope statement of work.

    After speaking with the rep I was assured "no problem" all the damaged wood would be replaced and we'd receive a clean bill of health for our pending escrow. This was the beginning of a month-long effort to do three days worth of work. To get the work done (only 80% complete when I gave up), I had to pay almost 50% more (a deal the worker offered on the side to complete the job), supervise the contractors (repeatedly point out what was apparently missed) and make dozens of calls to all level managers who simply used the tactic to deny culpability and up-sell. After the experience was behind us, we needed completion paperwork but it was apparently lost from their systems, until miraculously reappearing. At the end of the day, a blank inspection (HA!) was coupled with a notice of completion and presented as the working documents.

    This is the abbreviated story that went through four managers, all the way to Matthew Stevenson, president of the company. Of the 26 phone calls, some cust service people were empathetic and tried to help, a few were just combative. After all this, the general manager, Andrew **, offered, "Also, I’ll be reviewing the variance between the inspection report & the visits made by our associates for internal process improvement on our end. Please keep me apprised of any other concerns so that I can address them for you." I'm sure glad I could help.

    Terminix came out and did a whole home inspection and recommend that we needed more insulation in our attic. They found evidence of mice and recommended their insulation that would be a pest deterrent. 4 months later we had a ceiling collapse in our house with no structure damage or water damage. The weight of the excess insulation was too much for the ceiling. There was almost a total of 24” of insulation that fell from one room. My family and I were fortunate enough to have been home and awake during the collapse. I would not recommend them to anyone for insulation services.

    The biggest problem I had was ghost ants last year. They almost look like coffee grinds or something you can’t even see and all of a sudden, they were everywhere. Everybody was getting them because of the wetness so you could get them sporadically and they’re hard to get rid of. But Terminix knew what to do with them and they treated it. They put the gel around everywhere and the ants were gone.

    We’ve had Terminix for years now. When we bought the place, we knew we needed somebody and we didn't like the people that we inherited as a reference. We picked up Terminix and Peter is the regular who does the outside. He takes care of everything and he's great. The fellow who came most recently also took his time and went through the inside and the outside. I needed a thorough job and he asked if there was anything going on. I told him not that I know of and then he verified that everything looked good. Since then, the landscapers had moved the little termite things that Terminix had put in the ground so they’re coming tomorrow to fix that. Terminix has always been good and I just picked them up for my house up north too. I’m here part time and whenever I’m not here, they care of everything for me. They also always call before to tell me they’re coming, which is really nice.

    I pay Terminix for the whole year for treatment but after they treated the house they charged me. I called them and they said that they will call me back to talk about what’s going on but they never did. Also, the techs that they sent were good, but when they did a whole house inspection over the summer, one tech decided to exaggerate how bad it was. He told the tenants that there was a mouse, a bat and a squirrel in the attic and that made them very nervous. He should not have told them that. He should have told the owner of the house. This affected my business. Terminix is good sometimes but they irritated me and tried to push me for some treatment for the attic.

    Terminix comes out once every three months and sprays the outside. My biggest problem was the anthill on my house and I have not had a problem since they’ve started coming. They send me an email letting me know that it's time for my service, and then a few days later, they call me to let me know what day or what time they’ll be there.

    Most of the time, I'm at work when they come, but the times that I had been there, they’ve always been very polite. They knock on the door. They ask if they need to spray inside the house. They even asked that when they called to let me know when they're coming. So far, I've been able to tell them, “Nope. Just do the outside and you're good to go.” The ants are gone, which is the best thing. Also, their price is reasonable. I was willing to pay whatever amount to get those ants. Terminix has done what they said they would do and I've been extremely happy with their service.

    We were seeing wasps in our kitchen so we hired Terminix to come and take care of the problem. The lady on the phone stated that wasps were no problem and that they could take care of that. The first man came out sprayed our perimeter. He was super afraid of the wasp in our kitchen. Seemed uneducated as he was going to spray wasp spray in my kitchen over my sink knowing I have three babies inside until I asked him not to. He was leaving and I asked him who was going to take care of the actual wasp that we thought might be in our attic. He said the next guy coming out will take care of it. The next man came out. He refused to get in our attic would not get on the roof. Suggested a $2000 seal my house plan and left.

    I called and complained. They said he should’ve gotten the attic and taking care of the wasps. They are sending out more experience technician that afternoon. Three men came out. They did actually look in my attic and looked on the roof outside. They found one active Nest, shot it down and said we were good to go. That’s where the wasps were coming from but hours later another wasp bit my husband. We canceled the service and were supposed to receive our money back. One of the men said they do not handle anything that is out of arm's length reach from the ground. That lady on the phone who originally suggested the service said they would handle dirt dauber nest wasps and spiders. They would knock down all the cobwebs ants and rodents.

    After all these people came out there still cobwebs and dirt dauber nest everywhere. It seems like they usually just come out and spray the perimeter put some powder underneath the sinks and sprinkle some granules in the mulch and that’s really all that they seem to do. Typically they had no idea what to do when it came to wasps. My husband crawled up on a ladder and looked around on the roof and saw a huge nest in a crevice. Sprayed it knocked it down and sealed the area on his own.

    I don’t understand how five different Terminix men could have missed such a huge nest especially when they were all flying around it in right to it outside that fixed our problem. I remember the commercials of the Terminix man doing everything he can to get rid of the roaches. This company has nothing like that. The technicians all seem like they’re just hired help and don’t know what they’re doing. They did give me a full refund but two weeks later it has yet to be back in my account.

They were quite immersed in what they were doing and they had gone by step-by-step, so we knew how they would come out there and spray the house.     I started a contract with Terminix on 6/28/2017. By 01/28/2018 the year visits and contract were completed. Visits were notified afterwards, email notification of technician arrival would be over an hour after service with option to cancel at it was already at your front door, NEVER received a reminder or confirmation call. This said charges are applied instantly to your acct as is required automated payment, it is a smart way to withdraw funds when not available or planned by customer.

    When disputed with my bank got a TEMPORARY credit meanwhile the presea of 90 days, then TERMINIX came back with a resolution that describes as if customer had no intention on paying as agreed. I agreed to have a YEAR service for a certain amount with previous notification on visits, never agreed to a 6 months with a yearly price even though the visits were done, not as scheduled or planned. This is an abusive and disconsidered conduct towards customer funds, availability, and privacy.

    The technician from Terminix is superb. His name is Carlo and he's the same one who comes out all the time. Our most recent service call was an excellent one. He came in, did a rodent check, replaced the poison in the traps and then that was it because we had a snow storm so he couldn't spray around the exterior. Scheduling for the service worked out fine as well. Since Carlo has been out here, the pest activity in our home has been under control very nicely.

    On Friday March 30 we had an inspection by a supervisor who referred to us as a "leed" first warning sign...told us we had active termites and boar worms. Wanted to charge $3000 and gave us the "deal" of $2100. Trying to push into the deal by saying they just had a cancellation for the next day. We said we would get back to them. We called local exterminator "Bug Man". He came today no active termites or boar worms and told us what to look for if they were active. So Terminix flat out lied for a sale. Always call a local exterminator to review Terminix pitch.

    Terminix comes quarterly to spray. They usually schedule the time, but if I need to change, then I can change it with them. The technician knows what he is talking about and he usually can give me a good answer for any questions I have. I've had no problems with any more pests since starting with Terminix. His name is Josh and he is just very, very friendly and accommodating. If the day that he wants to come does not accommodate us, then he comes the day that we want him to come.     Terminix is the WORST company out there. They quote you one price and then when they show up at your house they tell you you don’t qualify you for the package and quote you some obscene ridiculously overpriced package. When I called the lady who was in Texas (I’m located in NY) sold me a package for ants and termite treatment for around $1200 a year. She told me they will come back and respray anytime for ants unlimited times throughout the year and they will set traps for the termites and apply a seal around the house to keep them out. She NEVER told me I had to “qualify” for the package...

    I waited 2 weeks and then some guy came to my house and said, "Sorry you don’t qualify for this package because you already have termite damage..." I’m like, "Yeah it’s from the people who previously owned the home and this is Long Island." We are surrounded by water. EVERYONE has termites! Why else would I be trying to treat the houses!?! He proceeded to tell me that I don’t qualify for the original package I was sold because of my termite damage and told me if I just want them to spray for the ants it will be $249.00 plus tax and $139.00 everytime they come back! What?! I’ve had Exterminators in my house to spray for ants every year and it never cost anywhere near that much! So I think this company are a bunch of scammers who sell you one package and then don’t want to give it to you when they show up! They are liars and I can’t believe they have stayed in business this long! I’d choose someone else!

    BEWARE OF PURCHASING "ULTIMATE PROTECTION GUARANTEE" FOR TERMITES! We have been a loyal customer with Terminix since 2005 and purchased this protection when our termite problem continued to recur even after the initial tent fumigation. The protection was to include annual termite inspections and treatments (if necessary) that either didn't occur or were severely ineffective! Today, throughout many areas of my home there is termite damaged and the matter must now be escalated to the Structural Pest Control Board for resolution.

    The last time Terminix had someone come out, it was fantastic and it was like the tech wasn't even there. When the tech came, he knocked on the door and told me he was here to do the service. Then he went outside, did the job and came back with the bill. Terminix's technicians would also ask if I'm having any trouble and if I need anything else done. Also, my guy would always call me a day before the service so that I know he'd be here.

    I've had a pest control service with Terminix recently and they were able to do the outside, but not the inside. They said that they would come back, and they did. The service was good and I have no complaints. I have three contracts with them depending on what the service is. My Terminix for termites is annual, for the mosquitoes it's every month and for the general it's every three months. The technicians are knowledgeable and friendly. They're not new, so I'm used to them, and they're used to me.

    But I'm concerned about termites because the floor in one of the rooms at the other end of the house is weak. I need Terminix to look at it, so they're coming back to do a recheck. Because when they do the inspection, they just go under there and look where they put the bait out. And if that looks okay, that's it. I don't know if that's exactly how it's done but the area at the other end of the house doesn't look good and it doesn't feel good. I can see some of the damage under the carpet. Nevertheless, I'm satisfied with my experience with Terminix.

    Terminix does a quarterly spray for our home. They let us know its time and give me a date that’s acceptable. If it's not acceptable, we change it to one that we can be here for.     The Terminix technician got rid of some sand wasps that I had. Their reps had been fine when I called them and the technicians had been good. But they don’t let the same technician come every time. I would like to have one man come so he'd know what I like and what my problems are. Other than that, I had been with Terminix for around 14 years and I couldn’t do without them. There are a lot of trees on my property and I deal with ants, June bugs, roaches sometimes, and mice.

    Terminix is a good company to go with. But their customer service is terrible, and their representatives are very rude. I received a letter in the mail, and it stated that it was time for renewal for my Terminix service for termites and my pest control. But I had canceled my Terminix service for termites last year in September because I sold my house. And I'm currently living at a rental. So, I'm trying to explain to the representative that I don't have Terminix service for termites on a rental. Why would I be paying for Terminix service for termites for a rental? And she was rude, and I wanted to speak to a supervisor that night, and she claimed that he wasn't in. And she said she'd have him give me a call but no one ever called me yet regarding my complaint. I really haven't had the time to call back to speak to a supervisor yet, but I am.

    Other than that, the guys who come out and spray for pests and then the chemicals that Terminix uses are awesome. They've been very professional and they do their job. Even when I had my house, they came out and did what they had to do. And now that I'm renting, they're doing the same thing. They get the job done right the first time. And then, if I still have a problem, they will come back out. Since they've been coming out, I have had no issues with any type of insects or pests, so I'm happy.

    Terminix keeps trying to raise my rates. They've used the fuel charge for a while, but when the price of fuel went down, their price didn’t decrease. The CEO wanted another bonus and that was just a way of getting more money. Also, I’m supposed to get a Terminix inspection every year for free, but I haven’t had it for the last couple of years. Their technicians were not in the same ball game too. One time a guy said that I had termites, but my regular guy who was coming that afternoon said, "These are not termites, they’re cutworms." Then there was one guy who I threw off my property because he was rude and he was lying to me. I told Terminix that he should never come back ever again.

    However, the technician for my monthly maintenance with Terminix is great. When Terminix would be out to my home for a service, they'd call or send me an email to tell me they're coming. But if have a problem, I can call the tech directly and get to a human being instead of an answering machine. He responds normally the same day and once in a while the next day, depending on what I'm scheduling. He’s also punctual. If he leaves Terminix, I’m going to get rid of them.

    We had some roaches and ants in the kitchen. We had a misunderstanding with Terminix. It had to do with the scheduling. They told me that I could do it one day. But then somebody called me back, told me another. And he sent somebody to do an inspection, not to do the treatment. So Terminix had somebody come out the second time and I have to give kudos to that person because she did a good job. That was a few weeks ago and I haven't seen anything yet. The experience was awesome and I was very satisfied.

    Terminix came to install traps and then came again about a month or two ago to clean out the traps and to do the second round. The technicians are really good people. They were very thorough, very polite, and made sure that they ask if I had any questions so that they could answer them. After the first time they came to install the traps, I stopped hearing the pests all together and I haven’t heard them in a while. Terminix took care of our problem and it was hassle-free. They explain and made everything easy. Having their service is worth it and I would recommend them.

    Terminix comes out to our home for pest service around once or twice a year. We've had them for a while and we're on maintenance. They call us and let us know the time they will arrive beforehand. I've talked to their technicians and they've been pleasant and fine. We had termites and bees nests for a while as well as a problem with fleas when my son came over with his dog but Terminix took care of those. We haven't had any trouble in the last three or four years. I'd recommend them.

    Terminix came for a scheduled visit and sold me on an upgrade to add the traps in the ground instead of just spraying. So the technician dug holes in the ground with the little auger and he buried the little termite traps in the ground. He was efficient. It didn't take him too long and didn't make a mess. He had me sign something and he gave me the receipt of what he did and it was fine. But I used a different pest service for pests than Terminix and it's probably business they'd rather have than not have. We had a better price from City Pest Control than we got from Terminix so we used City. Terminix just does our termites and if friends should ask I would tell them to give them a go.

    I had Terminix do bug spray for the interior and exterior. It was a pretty good service. And then, they had the inspection for termites and that was pretty neat. They do their service quarterly. They come by, introduce themselves, ask anything in the area that I see like a bug, then they inspect the house and the area. The technician who came over was very professional. Everything was great but being in Florida, you have to consider in a humid area that the insects are not going to be all dead.

    My experience with Terminix has always been fine. Every time they come here they're very courteous, very good and very professional. In fact, they were recently here for the yearly check-up in and around the house, and down the basement. I know when to expect him because they usually call ahead of time to say that they’ll be here. They come out, knock on the door and introduce themselves. They go around the house, down the basement, and then they knock again to tell me what they’ve done, and everything looks good.

    If I have a problem during the year, I just give them a call and they come right out and handle it. Our home has been very nice, so far. The crickets and mice are gone. We didn’t have too many mice but they always put fresh traps around because the other ones are old or have leaves on them. I’ve had Terminix for years and they've been doing a great job. I’m very satisfied with them. I refer them to everybody. If there’s someone new who comes into the community, I make sure that they call Terminix and get a contract going.

    I have been with Terminix for a long time and I had good interactions with their techs. The only drawback was that they were really expensive. I could always get it done cheaper but you always get what you pay for so I'm going to ride it out a while and see how it goes. If everything works good, then I'd stay with them. If it doesn't, then I'd go somewhere else. Right now, I'm not noticing any pest activity which is good. It would also be great though if they would kill a possum which eats a lot of my plants.

    Terminix (Sarasota) had to come to my house 5 times, every time with the guarantee that I wouldn't have any more problems with the cockroaches, I still did after every single visits. No results at all. And as if that wasn't enough, they charged me a second for no good reason. I tried to talking to them and explaining it to them in multiple occasions, but the representative wouldn't let me talk and would interrupt me every time I tried to. At the end they threatened me with reporting my "debt", to credit company and getting it written on my credit. I ended up paying twice for something I never got results for. I was very upset and disappointed. I do not recommend for the fact that they had to come 5 times, and never solving my problems, they charged me for something I never got and for their poor customer service.

    We had termite service by Terminix for a long time, but after we had our kitchen remodeled, we had a heavy infestation of ants and the things that we tried to do were not having much success, so we extended the service to cover the ants. Somebody would call and ask when would be the best time for them to come and do the service and they would come out as per our agreement. They would ring the bell and would say what they were there for. And then they would do what they came for.

    The last time they came out, the technician sprayed outside of the house but didn't spray where the ants were. So consequently, we still have the ants. I understood that they had compounds that could be sprayed in the area where you prepare food but even if they were doing their best, it was not enough to deal with the problem. I was thinking canceling our service since I was dealing with the ants before myself and had not been successful as well, but at least I didn't have to pay for what I was doing.

    Terminix is usually fast and efficient and they’re very courteous. They don’t seem to be time-wasters. They don’t stand around and chit-chat all day long about the latest baseball games, which is good, and they just focus on their job, get the job done, make sure everything’s cleaned up after themselves, and then they’re out of here. For me, that’s perfect. And the pest activity inside the home has been very good since being with Terminix. They're reliable and worth looking at. Just watch their pricing.     I’m a new Terminix customer and my experience has been positive. I had a stink bug that I was concerned about. When I scheduled the service, it was painless but I wish I could do it online. I didn’t see that option on the website and I had to call to schedule. I got an appointment with them within a week. The technician who came for the initial application looked around the house and found some bugs lying in my lampshade. He explained that they were not dangerous, and he proceeded to apply the applications throughout the home. He also clearly explained what he was applying. And then, the termite application guy followed up after a couple of days and left a note at the front door explaining what was going on.

    I was told that if I see anything, Terminix can always come and spray. I still see occasional stinkbugs in the house, and the black ant activity has increased since springtime started. Terminix also applied chemicals for black ants, but that didn't help. However, I have been holding off on that because I don’t want too many chemicals in my home and Terminix doesn't use organic stuff, so I’m trying to be conservative in using them more often. Since they come once a quarter, the next service will be around the end of April.

    I had pest problems last year and Terminix did their thing. They scheduled the service on my time, called when they were close by, and came on time. They explained everything and I had no problems. They were very courteous, very professional on anything that they said or did, and was good with that. The pest has been terminated.     I've had Terminix for quarterly maintenance for 13 years. I haven't had any problems scheduling service with them. I usually get an email and then a phone message when they are going to arrive. I'd stay in the house and their technicians would do what they need to do outdoors. If people are dealing with ants like I was back in the day, I recommend Terminix. I don't have any problems with insects inside the house because of them.

    I tried Terminix when I had spiders but only for a year. When it was done, they wanted me to renew and I told them I can’t afford it. I bought a home spray and I could do the same thing they do. The service guy was good and I understand people have to make a living but it’s a little bit too pricey for me right now. I would recommend it but they have to work on the prices or give better deals.

    Terminix takes care of the insect problems and are very prompt. Whenever I have recurring issues, they come out very quickly and take care of them. Scheduling services with them is very easy as I just go online and fix them up. We've had a couple of different technicians and the one we have right now is very good. And whenever they train new ones, they'd have people come out with them and make sure they go everything thoroughly with them. I have been with Terminix for about 10 years, have minimal pest activity at home, and am very satisfied.

    Terminix has been very nice and professional. They always call before they come and they did so in a very professional manner. If we’re not around, they would leave us a note, but would call before they come so we know they’re going to do service. So we don’t have to be around because they just do the treatment outside, but it’s nice to know we can trust them to come and do it. When we had a small termite issue, they came out and took care of that. They’ve been taking care of around the house stuff ever since the ants were a problem. They also took care of mosquitoes and things have cleared up and we have no problem now. We've had a very good experience with Terminix.

    I was in trouble with ants in my backyard. Terminix took over from the other company I was getting service from. I have no difficulties in scheduling with them. Usually, they tell me the date and if that doesn't suit me, I let them know. I have even adjusted the time for them to do the service. Their technician was very helpful. I tell him what needs to be done besides whatever they do regularly and he does it. Then, he leaves me a number saying that in case I had a question, I should ask him. Since the service, I still had some ants but then now is not ant season. So, the technician treated the problem and he said that he didn't think I was going to have a problem anymore. Still, I'll find out this year.

    We saw three bed bugs recently so we called Terminix to spray again. The Terminix rep scheduled us early in the morning, but we had it changed very quickly because we get ready by 7 in the morning. The rep was very pleasant and he came to my house before. He was very honest and he told us where the problem areas were, so we know to keep an eye out on them. We have a big old house and there's a lot of little cracks and crannies the little bug hide in. We've had five treatments altogether and it's going to take a couple of shots to get rid of them all. We went with Terminix because the other exterminators charge extra for the second, third, fourth and fifth shot, but Terminix doesn't.

    I had roaches in my kitchen, bathroom and washroom, and I still have them but not as many. Terminix has been treating me for two months and I signed up for a year contract. So, once a month they are supposed to come out. The customer service reps who come out are great. They steered me to right kind of program I needed. Then the techs were great too. They told me I had a leaky faucet and I had to have that fixed. And then they showed me some areas in my home that I need to improve on, like not leaving a trash in the house and take the trash outside, and that I can't leave my wastepaper baskets in the house at night. I would need to take them outside so the roaches won't feed on the trash. They came out last month and put some old gel down. They are doing a good job. My sister has ants and I have already recommended them to her.

    I signed up with Terminix 20 years ago and they check everything over and spray for bugs quarterly. I love the technician and whatnot but the only gripe I have is many times they don't call the night before. Or I'd like them to call a little bit sooner and many times they don't. Because I would like to be home sometimes when they come. Most times they don't need me home and they probably know that but I would like to point things out to them sometimes.

    But the the technician is excellent. And the one before him was just as good. And he asked if there are any problems, I tell him if there are and he answers any of my questions. I've been with Terminix here a long time and we haven't had any problems with pest activity. I live in the woods and I know you can mice really fast if you let them go and that's why I don't let things go.

    I bought a home and it had roaches in it. I wasn’t even there three days when I opened a cabinet and there they were. They looked awful and it freaked me out. I didn’t even live in it. I had to have Terminix come out, come out and make sure that they were all gone before I moved any of my things in there. They said I could schedule seven days within the last treatment and I had them come out every two weeks until I knew that the roaches were gone. We needed to aggressively treat it because there was more than I can handle. They were attentive and the technicians were excellent. They were respectful and mindful of my fears. They pretty much catered to my everywhere whim and were on hand and knees, making sure they covered all the bases.

    It’s also a whole lot better both inside and out now. I've only had to kill actually one. But I’m going to do it for the next year because although my neighbors said they didn’t have any problems, I find it hard to believe with the multitude that I had. I’ll have mine taken care of and hopefully they’ll die within a year. But the representative didn’t clearly indicate that when I signed up for the initial service, I was actually signing up for the whole year. The initial service was to be followed up in a three month increment at a certain amount. I didn't know that and I had to call back. They need to make it clear whether you’re getting a one-time treatment or treatment over a year. But that was the only thing that I wasn’t too happy about because I went from renting to buying and I was already incurring a lot of expenses. The overall experience was great and I had some good technicians.

    We had what seemed like moles and we had holes and tunnels out in the yard. I wasn't overly thrilled with the guy who came out but we don't have that problem anymore, at least right now. But we'll see if they don't come back in the wintertime. I call and tell Terminix what the problem is then they come out and take care of it. Otherwise, I have Terminix do the service four times a year automatically and I've had them for several years now. They've taken care of everything that I've had any problems with.     The house was treated about six years ago and now we have the contract on the house for termites. They come out regularly in the spring to check and make sure there aren't any termites. They schedule the appointment so I have to make sure that's somebody's going to be coming since they walk through the house. They check to make sure there's no problem and then give a report, which I also get online. There was a problem once but they never showed up and I had to be rescheduled. But that aside, Terminix was reliable. There's hasn't been any more outbreaks and the problem has been taken care of.

    I've been with Terminix for 28 years. The people who owned the house before me had an assumable contract so I just took it over to continue the termite protection. But then I added quarterly pest control as well. I used to have one person who came all the time and I really liked him. And now they've started changing things around, which I don't like because I get different people.

    They just come to the door. I always tell them to call and let me know because I have a dog and I need to make sure she's in when they spray outside and then I put her out when they spray inside. They haven't been as good lately. I'll get like an email or something and say they're coming in two days. And now sometimes I have to go out and change it. So I don't like their scheduling. But their people are nice. They do a good job and they're friendly. I don't have any problems once they get here. And if I ever see something after they're gone they come back and take care of it.

    One of the reasons why I got the service with Terminix was I felt threatened that I had rat problems in my attic. The first time they came to my house, I didn't have a good experience as I paid but kept getting this bill that said I owe them some money. The second time, the tech set some traps for rats, supposedly around my house, but I’m going to call them to have somebody come and check them out, and I’m also going to have them spray out the place a little bit.     Terminix came out for a quarterly service recently. When scheduling our service, they normally send me an email and they tell me when the persons are coming. But the service schedules that they've given us have never been convenient, so I always had to change it. The fella who serviced us knew what time to come and he always called me and set up a time that was good for me. The technicians that have come out have asked me how everything has been and if there was anything that needed to be tended to, and they told me what they were going to do and where they were going to check. They've been very thorough and pest activity in our home has been under control since their service.     The technician that Terminix has been sending out to do my treatment acts like he is mad and doesn't want to do the job. Whenever he was to spray, he would say that it takes time and it's a long process. I understood so a lot of times, I would tell him that he doesn't have to do the work that day. Also, the last time that he came out, I told him to set the boxes for the mice. However, he pushed and stuff and he broke one of my things then didn't say anything. I didn't tell Terminix because I was scared and I didn't want him to lose his job.

    Still, my interactions with the other employees at Terminix have been fine. I called on them for some services and they would call me and send an email when the next service was due. They would also send an email when they receive payment. While I would have told Terminix to send somebody else, I still think it's a good company. I will call them again.

    Terminix comes out every three months and it's usually the same technician. He always texts me, and sometimes when he comes and I'm not around and it's just my mom, he'd call me and I'd send him a message if I need the inside done or just the outside. So far, it's working. If I have another issue, they come out to redo it. Like one day, I had to call them because I had mice. They came and took care of that and I wasn't charged extra, which I was shocked about. There's only the one time when they rescheduled the appointment and forgot to tell me. But other than that, they come when they're supposed to and I never had an issue with the guy that does the work. I always recommend Terminix. I just renewed the contract, so I'll be having them for two more years.

    We've been here 10 years and a couple of years ago, Terminix bought out the company that originally did the service in the house. The Terminix sales rep called me and said he was going to be in the area. He asked if I would mind if he came by and checked out the house and I said no. That was good service. He came by and we were discussing then he said that we didn't have a damage waiver in our contract, which if something happens, we'll pay for it. I thought that was a good idea. He offered a better product at a reasonable price and I was happy with it 'cause it was a good price.

    I couldn't use the old policy. I had to cancel that then put a new one into place. They did the new survey for the new policy and they did a really good inspection for a whole lot less than it would have cost me a couple of years from now when we needed it so it worked out really good for us. The technicians have been fabulous as well. They are really good and personable. They tell you what they're doing and when I had a couple of questions, they answered them right away. They're real professional the way they do it and I'm really happy with the guys who come out. They did an annual inspection and everything was good.

    Wherever I've lived all my life, we've always had a termite bond on the house. When we bought this house, the original company did it and then Terminix took over. Terminix is a well-known name and we never had any issues with them other than the initial billing was wrong. But they took care of that right away and everything got straightened out when they bought out the other company. So we were happy with what we had and we were sure that we were covered.

    We always felt secure in Terminix that if something did happen or if we did get termites, they would take care of it. I've never had to worry about. It's an insurance for the homeowner and I absolutely have to have it. It was good to have them because I know they're going to stand behind it. On top of that, Terminix is a stand-up, good company with good people that work for them. Everyone I've worked with, with Terminix, no matter what it's been, has been very customer-oriented. They are not just doing a job. You get the feeling that they're really wanting you to be a good customer so it's a good company to do business with.

    We started seeing a couple of roaches here and there. I've used Terminix in the past and they've always done great work. This is the third time I've used them and I love their company. The technicians were very friendly, and they came up on the same day that I called them. Eddy came out and he was great. He was very professional, and as soon as he got to the door, he cracked a joke and it was so much friendlier. He went through the house, and sprayed and laid the bait.     He schedules the service before he even leaves to make sure that the time works for me. And then if he has an opening earlier than that, he calls me and asks me if I would like to switch times. There's a huge huge improvement now, and we just need them to come out one more time and we should be good. Terminix works and it's the only company that I'll call. I won't use anybody else but them.

    We signed up with Terminix for the year and they would come out every quarter. We have the bedbug fumigation and we've had one of the quarterly done so far and everything has been pretty good. They're very timely and I definitely like being able to track the technician.
