    Our experience with Terminix has been 95% positive. The people who do the work are friendly and accommodating and the only occasional glitch we have is with scheduling. Normally, there’s an advance notice by e-mail and a follow-up call before the service, but this last time, my wife and I didn’t get either. We normally like to have the person come in the house or at least get inside the garage to look around, but when he came, we weren’t here and we missed that opportunity. That normally doesn’t happen.

    I have termite and pest, so it gets a bit confusing sometimes because when I call them, they say, “We’re coming,” and I ask, “Which one is this?” It’s the same person all the time, at least on the pest’s side. They’re very polite and accommodating. They put the booties on if we want them to come in the house and they’re pleasant to deal with. The only time I called them for something was within the last few years. I had a couple of big hornets’ nests and they came right away. They took them down and sprayed them. I’d recommend Terminix.

    My experience with Terminix has been fantastic and I love my representative. He comes when he's supposed to and we chat a little bit. I tell him what I want him to look at, he looks at it and checks everything. We have a great relationship. I had carpenter ants last year when I first started using Terminix. And their rep came in and explained to me what he was gonna do, and he did it. He also told me to look for a few stragglers and that I shouldn't see anything, but if that didn’t happen, I should call them back and I could get them to spray again for free and everything he told me happened and I am thrilled. And this year, I did not have the ants but I had some situation with some big, brown bug. And I called him in between the time that he was supposed to come in the normal scheduled appointment and he came and took care of that. I would recommend Terminix to anyone and I already did. They are great.

    We first started out with Terminix because our neighbors had their service. Bugs had come to our house and it took a while for us not to see any. We now have the quarterly maintenance service of Terminix and they've been doing a good job. When I called in, Terminix usually had the time for our service scheduled and if I couldn't be there at that time, I could always cancel and ask for a different date. They asked if I have any questions. Also, they offered discounts to me if I wanna have other services because we're senior citizens. The technicians that they've sent out have been good, professional-acting, and courteous. But a couple of times when they were supposed to come out, some technicians didn’t show up and they didn’t call. The technicians mostly did the outside, then they came in three months ago for prevention. Terminix is pretty good to go with.

    I’ve used Terminix for years. I just moved to a new location, from Terre Haute to Kokomo, and I transferred my account. I had some ants in my kitchen area and because I had moved into a new house, I wanted to get going with getting rid of any insects that might be causing problems. After I moved, Terminix had called me to set up an appointment, not knowing that I had moved. And so, I told them I moved. Everything was hectic. That was last fall and I wanted to wait until spring to do anything and they said that would be fine. So, they called in the spring to see if I was ready to start up and I said yes. We chose the time and the date, and everything went from there.

    The technician that came out was a very nice fellow. He did what he needed to do, left me some paperwork and he was here for 20 minutes. I always found pests at my other house too. And here I had noticed some wasps or some flying bee variety. I told the technician where it was and he sprayed for that, and I’ve not seen any since. So, that seemed to work. Terminix did an excellent service and my home has been better. I’ve always been pleased with Terminix and when I moved, I just wanted to continue using them for any problems that I might have.

    Terminix had somebody cold-calling on the neighborhood, and they approached me. I was outside my property, and I agreed for them to come out. We had a couple of ants in the house, and a couple of days before being solicited, I bought some things to supposedly help take care of that, but we haven't had the house looked at for anything, so I told Terminix to come out and do their service for maintenance. Two people came and one was more experienced -- he may have been a manager. Their professionalism was excellent. They did their work, and I was happy with it.

    I've seen one ant since the things that I've done and since the treatment, so it seems like they've been taken care of. However, the person who solicited me took my credit card number, and then for some reason, Terminix didn’t have that on record and I'm not happy about that. Also, both reps wrote them down and I wonder where those documents are. I gave the credit card to the people who came in later and did the service and then I got a bill sent to me. All in all, everything so far is good. Terminix worked for me, and I'd recommend them.

    Terminix sprayed for ants around four weeks ago and then we just found some more yesterday. So they just scheduled a return visit. The technician, Brad, would do another quick barrier spray and it should help that. What I'm hoping to do is just to have the treatment done for the summer and then I'm gonna call next spring and have it done again. I hope they're coming to do it every three months. Their representatives have been good and Brad, the technician I've been working with is really nice and good at what he's doing. He sent me a text to let me know he was on his way.

    We had concerns with spiders and mosquitoes, and the Terminix rep sat down with us and explained what exactly he could do to help us. There were two treatments for mosquitoes and an initial one for spiders, and our problem went away. My experience with Terminix, including my interaction with the rep when scheduling the service, have been very positive. The tech has been great and he was extremely professional.

    When the person from Terminix comes out every Friday in our apartment community, he does different apartments that have different needs such as spraying for ants, roaches or spiders. He's very nice, polite, and friendly. He also makes sure he greets the residents and notices when he comes in. He does a good job, we’re very satisfied with him and we're very happy with Terminix.

    We had a good experience with Terminix. They came out to do a routine termite inspection. They call us to schedule the service. If I can't make it, I call them back. I select a date and then we work around both of our schedules. The techs are professional. They tell me when they’re on their way and I can track them when they are going to be there. However, it is not easy to cancel a plan.

    There was a time where I wanted to take a break from the routine inspections because I didn’t have the fund. So I wanted to take a year off and I wanted to cancel so I can re-subscribe. And if you try to cancel your Terminix subscription, they just don’t let you cancel. I had to act like I was purchasing it, “Oh, I’d like to sign up for Terminix”, and then I would get somebody who would help me. And then I said, “Actually, I don’t wanna sign up. I wanna cancel.” And they said, “Wait, let me transfer you to our canceling department.” I said, “Don’t send me there. I’ve already been there.” And they sent me to the whole thing pattern and it was frustrating. So, I said, “Okay. What’s the farthest out that you could possibly schedule an appointment for me?” And they said like a year and a half. And I said, “Just schedule me for a year and a half.” Still, I recommend them.

    On 6/12 called and scheduled a service today for ant removal between 8AM and noon. Called at 1PM since no-one had shown and they said he is not answering his phone and I found out that I was his only service call for today. No one can find him and I asked for his boss to call me and no-one called. Calling customer service you have hold times over 10 min. So I told them to cancel and remove my CC from their system. I would not recommend Terminix.

    I had Justin come out and he was very nice, but I thought we solved the issue and we didn’t. He put pellets down on his last visit and it seemed like it got the nest, but I have discovered more ants. I have an indoor pool with planting around the edge and dirt. I’ve spent a lot of money and I still have ants. I wish we had used the pellets at the beginning because that seemed to be what killed the ants. Whatever were in the pellets really eradicated them, at least for a while. The people at Terminix have done everything they could, but I still have a problem.

    I’m doing some construction on my house and we noticed what appeared to be some type of termite near my house so I called Terminix that day. A representative came and the next day, someone from Terminix came and put the traps down around the perimeter of the house, which was good. It was easy to schedule the service call. I asked if the tech could come tomorrow at 2:00, and he said, “Yeah, I’ll fit you right in.” I was trying to get some project completed and the guy fit me in. He was very helpful.     Terminix came here most recently for our routine service, but before that, I called them for ants that their guy had dealt with. I got a notification that said when the appointment would be, and I touched base with the representative in the area and he said it was the next day, which ended up being the day after that but we worked it out here. The tech was great, and I think the ants are all dead after the service.

    Terminix has exceeded my expectations. I started with Terminix around 2007 and then a few years ago, I moved to another company that Terminix bought up. I had a serious ant problem and they were invading a little bit in our house so I called up Terminix and they were able to come out quickly and they got it resolved right away. Also, scheduling the service normally goes fine. We had some trouble with scheduling a few years ago when the main call center that I called in said that they scheduled it but it wasn’t. They had some system glitch. But since then, I've been calling in to my local Terminix office and it's been fine doing it that way.

    Terminix calls me in advance to let me know the tech is on his way and when he's gonna be here. I would make sure I would be home if I have an issue. If I didn’t, then they would just do the exterior then they'd give me a note telling me what they did. The tech also would call me afterwards to say what he did. Our tech is Carl and we really like him. He does our house on a regular basis and I also call him and set up then he comes out on time. He is very polite, has great customer service, and does the best he could to make sure things are taken care of. When he came out, I showed him where the ants were coming. He did some work and he went throughout the whole house. Amazingly, I haven't seen another ant since and so I'm very happy.

    For the 4 years that I've used Terminix, I've had no problems with them and the service was fine. They were knowledgeable and they took care of the issues. When I scheduled a service, I called them and the technicians would come in. The buildings are extremely old and not well-field so we had some repeat issues for the pests but it's understandable. I'm done using their service because our system is set up and goes out to bid and the lowest bidder won. Still, I was very happy with the Terminix service.

    Terminix looked at moles when they most recently came out. I called them and the service was set up. Then, the tech came out and put poison baits and sticky traps. The activity has decreased quite a bit since then. I'm very satisfied with Terminix although I don't like the automated phone system. It would be nice to talk to someone local when you first get set up instead of calling the national call center.

    I was satisfied with my experience with Terminix. Recently, they came out and they went into different rooms. They put in a little ant stuff to get rid of the ants, and they went outside and sprayed the pests out there. The technicians were very nice and professional too. Since the technicians came out, there were a few ants after the first visit and then, they did a follow-up in a couple of areas. I still see a few ants in a couple of other areas and it's on new places so perhaps that's where we didn’t have them spray anything on.

    I have a year-round protection and Terminix comes out quarterly to spray and inspect. They let me know a day or so in advance before they would come out so we could have the outside open for them. Also, the tech that comes out usually calls or texts a day before. And I'm usually home to help him if he needs inside the house or in the attic. I've been with them for about a year now and they came out for a routine inspection and control the last time. We’ve been very pleased with them, mostly because we started this contract in a different state where we owned a different property and then moved. That contract was honored when we moved and we've had excellent service on both states. Terminix has been very easy to work with and are very open and willing to listen.

    One of my bedroom floors was sinking in, and I thought the problem might be termites. Still, I didn't know for sure, so I called them and they came out to check it. The representative who came out was very professional. Their technicians drilled the holes and put liquid stuff in them. Then they took cement and closed holes up. They also did my crawlspace. Since the service, I haven't seen any termites. I recommend Terminix.

    We have tiny burrowing holes in some of our wood and I have what I thought was powder post beetles so I called Terminix. It's always good to have a random check as well. We had gotten communication in the mail with some kind of coupon and that was why I chose Terminix. And those coupons worked out in my favor. Erin came out and did the initial assessment. She was very helpful and informative, and I appreciated her a lot. The fellow who did the spraying was good also. But it's been a month and I feel like there's an outbreak of powder post beetles. I'm going to see if they would come back out and check again. That aside, Terminix has good customer service. They did a good job and I would recommend them.

    We are a public library and we've had patrons stung by hornets before. So, if we see hornets, we call Terminix and they always have been very good at coming in and taking care of our hornet problem for us in a timely manner. I haven't noticed any pests since the last service they did. Also, the technicians who have come out have always been courteous to us. It’s usually the same person who comes unless they moved to someplace else or if there is a turnover.

    But to get a hold of Terminix is more difficult if we call the 800 number. I had called the 800 number and that was not a fun experience. We were not able to talk to the right people and they would pass us to the local people. It was like talking to a middleman instead of simply talking to the right people. So, we like having the local number instead. In addition, we had Terminix in our house before and the price has raised too much that we couldn’t afford it anymore. But Terminix has always done very well. If we need things inside, they do the inside for us.

    The ones that I had before who were coming out monthly went up a bit high and I didn't want to pay that much. I had some friends whose parents were using Terminix and said that they did real good. So I went with them and they would spray and put the boxes down every three months. So far, I've had about four different technicians since I've been with them. The first one was a lady. She came out, sprayed around my kitchen, the upstairs, downstairs, and she put a few boxes out. And next time, I had another lady, she was out here twice but she quit. Then they got another guy that came out and he was the best one that I've had.

    The last one, he didn't even ring the doorbell. He just knocked. I was down in the basement and I came up. He was sitting in the driveway, then he just took off. I almost cancelled but he came back and he sprayed around the upstairs a bit, put out a few boxes and then he left. I've been working down in the basement probably disturbing him but I don't think he traded the boxes out downstairs at all. I wasn't happy. I haven't contacted Terminix about it. I thought I would get the technician another chance to see if he will do it the right way. If he doesn't, then I'm going to change to somebody else.

    When I scheduled a service with them this last time, they sent me an email stating that the technician would be here on a certain day at about 8:45. I called in on the scheduled day and they said, "We'll get them out there next week." That was when the technician came and said he sprayed around the house, but I don't know if he did or not. Usually, if they spray, I can smell it. But I didn't smell anything. I think he just put out a few boxes and called it good.

    Terminix comes out to our house every three months. In their most recent visit, the lady who came was very good. She did a full spray on the outside under the eaves, something that none of the other guys have ever done. They just sprayed the corners of the eaves. But, she sprayed so well on the outside that the ants moved inside for a while. But I just sprayed them with bug killer and it seemed to have stopped them. However, she didn’t tell us that she had taken over so she was going to be the one staying here. But that was what the last three people have told us and none of them made a third visit.

    However, last October, we had an issue. We had to go to New York for a medical consultation. While we were gone, we had rain and all that and when we came home, we had 60 centipedes in our bedroom. The guy from Terminix was supposed to come out before we left but he couldn’t since something came up. So then, when I called them and told them I would like him to come back and do a service, he said, “Okay.” But then he called and he said something came up. So, we rescheduled the second time but something came up again. I finally called and when he called the third time, I got mad and told him that he better come out that time. So he came out and he sprayed around.

    When I told him about all the centipedes, he said sorry. So then I told him to make sure he put all the little boxes that they put down to catch the bugs in all the corners of the doors when he sprays. When he left, I went back to check the bedroom and there was not one in the corner of the bedroom door. There was one in the one of the corner but not the other. After having 60 centipedes that my husband and I had to take care of, I figured he would have done that. But he hadn’t.

    Then, after that, he came and sprayed. But when I went to the beautiful craft area my husband made for me, there was a huge spider web on the wall. The guy never took care of it like he was supposed to. January came and Terminix reached out to us through an email asking us to call the manager so he could help get this problem taken care of. At that time, however, I was terribly ill and I never got around to it. By the time I was able to get to it, it had dropped off. I'm not sure if I want to stay with Terminix. I am just so upset with this one gentleman that they have. If we can have the lady all the time, that would be nice.

    I had Terminix when I was in Tennessee and they came to our house about four times a year. I’m in Indianapolis now and I just had them out one time and they’re gonna come again once every 3 months. They call to tell me when they’re gonna be there. Because it was the first time the technician came in the house, he did some extra spraying. But most of the time, they just go around outside, spraying. We were having a spider or a bug which we call potato bug occasionally. But since the treatment I’ve seen a few spiders and any of the other bugs but not as many as we had before.

    We have called several occasions. Had several reps come out. One rep recently came out. I would say it’s almost to three months now. Told us to save the wood that we removed from our home so that they could later determined with the boss what type of termite it was but Yep I in fact have termites but he needed to know what coverage I had to whether or not they were going to cover it. Undoubtedly have termites and have not heard back from them since we have held our bond in agreement with them for years/Do you hundred dollars later we continue to replace wood after wood/waiting for this rep and his boss to come back to determine whether or not they’re going to fix the termite infestation problem. I have emailed them. I’ve called. I’m exhausted. Contact me if you’ve had the same problem. I had to give them one star at least to leave this review. Overall the gentleman was very polite. That was it!!! Cabin slowly eating away.

    Terminix recently sprayed around the exterior of our home for house side pests. The technician that is normally here seems to do a very good job. But we’ve had a few more spiders this year than we’ve done in past when we didn’t have them set up. We have a regular service set up with them as preventative. However, I’d like to be able to change, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to do that yet. And, they’re getting very expensive.

    We had a nasty little infection of bed bugs. Terminix came for their second visit and we are scheduled for two more. The scheduling was hard since my roommate and I have a lot of doctor appointments and so we got mixed up a couple of times. But we called and let them know that we had to leave at a certain time and they were always here. We left it where they could come in while we were gone and get the work done, so it worked out. We don't get to talk to them a lot but if we had a question, we would call them on the phone and ask them to go over what they did that day. And they always answered the calls and our questions. While bed bugs are one of the hardest things to get rid of, the Terminix service has made a difference. We don't have as many bed bugs now and nobody's getting bit up like we were before.

    We bought a house that sat empty for two or three years so it needed a lot of pest control. Signing up with Terminix was very easy. They come out for a routine thing and so far, I’m a happy customer. Scheduling the service was fine. The technician that comes out is not always the same person, but they walk around and spray. They are nice and friendly. Since they started coming out, we have less pest activity. It’s summertime, so sometimes they get a little worse, but that’s expected. I’m not irrational with my expectations but it’s been good. Terminix is good. In fact, I recommended them to my brother and he is using them now.

    Every time the Terminix service comes around, I get somebody new but I liked Todd, the new tech who came out. He was very good and thorough. I try to walk around with him so I understand the work being done and he was great. We've got contracts for my barn and my house and he did a really good job on each place so I was very happy with him. I am on a quarterly plan with Terminix and in my most recent one, one of my rentals needed some work. The tenant thought they had termite damage or some termites in the deck and so I called Todd to check it. So he did and it wasn’t termites but the sap that seeped through the wood. I can understand why the tenant thought so but there were some ants and so I told him that since he was already there, he should do a treatment on the house to take care of any critters that may be around it.

    I want my service folks to be people who I can call and ask to come for my issues. Todd was more than willing to do that so I was very pleased. Since the service, the tenant has not complained so I will take that as a good sign. On the property we have in the country, I've had a couple of spiders in the house but I'm not too upset about that. Doors open and close, I've got kids and doors get left open so anything can come in. For the most part, we do the quarterly service because we used to have a lot of ants and we started our relationship with Terminix to take care of that issue. The service keeps the spiders down and the ants down and I'm in good shape.

    My brother also contracts with Terminix. He had some issue with some termites and we had Terminix come out and give a quote. Orkin also came out and gave a quote and they were twice as much. I've always been pleased with the pricing and service of Terminix but I would like the tech to stay the same. I know they don’t have ultimate control over that. People move and change but I told Todd that if he had any say, be the guy that stays the same. I always try to be there but if I can get to the point where I can get a good relationship with the tech, it'd be nice if I can't be there or I could give them special code to get in and he could just take care of the service.

    The day we started 37 years ago, we just bought our house and inspected by another inspection company. But the Terminix reps went door to door asking if we wanted an inspection. We had termites in the house and they got back to that. That's how we started our contract. We have pest control and they come every four months to do the outside. We had a fleas problem and they took care of that in December. There are also bees that are out in the yeard and they dig holes. I called and the reps told me to put ammonia down the hall. They gave me something to try first before they came out and spray and that worked. They also gave me an information about something over the counter. The customer service is great and they take time to answer all of my questions.

    We had a visit from the man that comes out and sprays for the bugs once a month. But in just a couple of days, we were noticing a lot of spiders and bugs. I called into their customer service. They are very responsive whenever I call and have an issue. The rep asked me what my problems were and tried to get the appropriate information. They said that they would give me our specialist and he was sent back to spray again. When he came in, he asked "How’s things going?” or “Are you noticing any problems?” just like what he does every month. He's always very nice and personable. He’s also always concerned with our satisfaction with their service. Since then, we're not seeing as many spiders anymore even though it’s very easy for us to have bugs come in since our doors are open and shut all the time. Overall, Terminix's doing a fine job.

    Terminix calls me and tell me that they’re going to come out on whatever day, and then I tell them if that’s a good day or not. If I’m unavailable, they’ll say that they would call me in another week or so when we’re gonna be in that area and see if that’s a better time. I have them treat the deck and the outside of the house. The people from Terminix are very friendly when they come out. The tech tells me what he is gonna do and I say okay, and then he lets me know when he’s done. But after they come, my deck becomes infested with spiders and it's a big issue. It’s almost like it’s worse and they don’t go away.

    I’m thinking about canceling Terminix because last year, our lawn care service sprayed the perimeter and the spiders went away. But when Terminix comes, it’s like they’re feeding them. He treated ants and he told me that the ants might come back a bit more. But once the ants took whatever he gave them back to their little house area, it would kill them, and I haven’t noticed any ants. As far as their people, I would recommend Terminix highly. However, I don’t think that their product is effective.

    We've been with Terminix for about 10 years. They schedule our appointments then they do their thing and I pay my bill. Recently, they came out, walked around the house, and sprayed. It was pretty easy. Frank, our technician, is always funny. Sometimes he gives us a little advice and he’s good at that. Last year, we tried their mosquito program and it was a disaster.     Terminix came out about a month ago when we discovered that we had a problem and they put the Terminix system in and they sprayed outside for all kind of bugs. They also put stuff up in the attic for mice but it hasn’t been long enough yet for them to come back. I have tried to go on and set that up in my account, too. But, every time, it says I’m doing something wrong. Nevertheless, the tech was good. Also, boring bees have been laying their eggs and drilling holes underneath our wood out here in the deck. And then the woodpeckers went after them. So that really did some damage on our deck. But since Terminix came out last week and sprayed there, we haven't any had woodpeckers back or the bees. They’ve done what they have said they would do, and it seems to be taking care of the problem.

We had wasps and bees recently and the rep was able to set up an appointment very quickly 'cause I called through the 1-800 number. I asked if there were any discounts and he opted to offer me a coupon. He was courteous and friendly. Also, the web app works great. We're in a rural area so timing can be a little odd, but their timing was pretty accurate. The tech that came went around and explained what he had to do, and he sprayed the exterior really well.     I called for first time service with Terminix, 3 times in a row no one showed up to my scheduled appointment time. They apologized and said my name kept getting pushed back in their system. They gave me a $30 cr credit, which I personally didn’t feel was enough to make up for all the inconvenience but... My final bill was supposed to be $159, with the $30 credit. The tech tried to charge me $210. He told me to call the 1-800 number and sort it out. I called...they told me it has been fixed. I check my account...I was charged $170. I call Terminix demanding a complete refund, explains ALL of the inconvenience and now the wrong charge. They refused to refund my money or fix the amount they charged me. I had to dispute my charge with the bank. Way to NOT fix your mistakes and make things right Terminix.

    We’ve been Terminix customers for a long time and I’ve given them plenty of my business. They’ve been overall okay. But I’m not really happy with them right now. They said that they were coming out—one was for a termite inspection, and three times, no one showed up and I didn’t get calls saying why. And then one time was for a mosquito treatment, so I went with another company for that.

    When I say something to the tech when they come out here, they will say it’s customer service. I reached out to customer service a couple times and they'd blame it on the technician or they'd say they don’t know what happened or it was not showing up. The communication between the technicians and the customer service is simply awful. So, I don’t know whose deal it is. And then the last time, I was busy, so I simply gave up. In addition, it takes forever to get to talk to them. The lady rep said she was gonna forward the concern to the service manager and I never heard anything from them either. I have no resolution and I still don’t have a termite inspection.

    I've had Schendel for more than 10 years but then they were bought by Terminix. More recently, we had seen some evidence of some boards in our house being eaten by termites.     We had cockroaches and Terminix has been out at our place many times. I call them for service and I've been well pleased with the technicians who have been at our place.     Scheduling a tech to come for our quarterly service with Terminix is very easy. I get notified well in advance and the technician calls and lets me know when they’re coming. Usually, if I just have the techs spray the outside of the house then I don’t even see them. If I have a special occasion where I wanted them to come inside then I interact with them quite a bit. The tech who comes has changed and I have the third one now. The first one was very good but the second was not as friendly and eager to help as the third one. The third gentleman was wonderful. He sprayed the outside when he came then I asked him to also come inside, ‘cause I’ve been seeing more spiders, and I had a very good experience. Since my problem is spiders, I don’t really pay attention to the external side of it, but I have noticed an improvement in what I was hoping for. Terminix has got the system very well passed.

    Terminix comes to my house for quarterly service. They came out and sprayed for ants. And when they sprayed for ants, it made it worse than it made it better but I haven't had the time to even call them back or anything. And then I also need to get a hold of them again because we got lots of spiders and stuff in our front yard. And the ants, they love that stuff. But other than that, they did a pretty good job. They’ll work with me with the schedule. The technicians are friendly. If you ask a question, they're gonna answer you. I like that about Terminix too. They give a good service with their timeliness and helps you out that way if you're working or had a bad experience.

    Terminix has been out twice and the problem has not been fixed. We’ve called them a third time to come out and the problem is worse than what it has been. When we called to get them, they said they didn’t know when they could come out and they would call us back. They never called us back, so we had to call them again and when we did, they said that we had an appointment this coming Saturday, which we had no knowledge of whatsoever. The techs come in and do what they supposedly are doing, and even though nothing seems like it’s been able to work, they’re courteous and friendly.

    I've been a Terminix customer since 1994. They come out once every three months and send an e-mail one week ahead.     A friend suggested Terminix and we got them on the fall of last year. Our recent experience with them was good. We had some spring critters that we didn’t want to turn into anything bad, and they came out at the end of the season to spray the yards for mosquitoes.     Our parents had the Terminix service before we bought the house from the estate. We did a carry on and we really don't want to be without the Terminix service. We've been a customer for 5 years now and they come out quarterly. They normally call us to say that it's time for a visit and we either concur or say, "No, we can't do that. We'll have to do it later." The techs come out and do their thing. They checked for spiders and other infiltration around the house and garage and treat the affected areas. If we're home, they might talk to us. If we're not, they leave a note as to what they've done and then send the bill. And since we don't have any infestation, they've taken care of the problem. It's a good service and we've been very satisfied with it. Also, we have recommended them.

    Scheduling with Terminix can sometimes be a little eventual. When I talk to one person they say they're gonna schedule it in the month that we’re in, but if I talk to somebody else, they say they can take care of it. There’s no consistency in how things are done and sometimes it becomes a hassle. For the recent service, they scheduled a time that worked for me and they did the normal maintenance. The pests are not getting in my home because they’re doing the proper work on the outside of my home like they always do.     I have a Terminix insurance that I pay quarterly and they inspect the property once a year which I usually request it to be done in May. I also get Terminix to spray the porch as well as the whole house once or twice a year. Their techs have been fine and the pest activity has been good. However, the billing has been ridiculous. From the beginning, I'd get multiple bills, usually because of the quarterly service, even after I've paid it and it has been very frustrating. I'd just tear them up after I've paid. It's probably automatic but they should just pull that after the bill's been paid. I've discussed that with the technicians, including John who I've had for many years.

    I was with an exterminating company out of Anderson and they sold my contract down the road, and Terminix bought my contract. I have an automatic appointment with them. Each year I pay them a fee and they come out, inspect, take a look at things and write a report. And this had been going on for quite some time. They’ve been very helpful to me with any problems.     I had bed bugs from my granddaughter going around the places she shouldn’t have been in February and I called Orkin. They said that they were gonna have to heat my house up to all those degrees and it’d be like over $2000. Then I saw that Terminix was a lot cheaper and they came out right away. They treated my house. They came back a week then they came back in two weeks, then came back a month later and I didn’t even have any bed bugs. I thought that they saw one after the initial spraying so I haven’t had any more problems.

    And then I went ahead and did the annual pest control with the bed bug addendum just in case, so I wouldn’t have to pay full price again for bed bug problem if it came back. The bed bug guy, Bob, was super nice and awesome. I enjoyed him coming and he was nice to talk to. Recently, I’ve had ants too so I thought I should have them come to spray for my ants. I like them.     We had a wood shake roof that attracts a lot of bugs and that also then attracts predatory spiders especially a brown recluse spider. One time, my wife got out of the shower and picked up her towel and a brown recluse spider fell on her and bit her just below her shoulder. We ended up having to get her to the hospital over that. She got better but we realized we needed to get treatments and we just moved to that house because I got married. I had Terminix in my previous house in town so I called up and had them carry over the service to the second house. They had been good before and so I stayed loyal to them.

    We also had ants and an occasional spider. We also had a previous experience with mice that somehow got in and we got rid of them but we had bait traps set around the basement and periodically, I want to make sure those are checked to make sure there's no further activity. And they've been untouched for the last two or three times so we're feeling better that's under control now.

    The technicians have been very professional and very considerate about not tracking in the house. They put on slip-on shoes over their feet to make sure they don’t track anything in. They've been very thorough with getting all the areas that I ask them to. They've climbed into areas that are awkward and difficult to get into and no matter if it's a small, wiry guy or a bigger fellow, they all get down and do whatever has to be done. I've been impressed that they've been patient in treating back quarters and all that type thing that were needed. Even though they've had different people from time to time, they've always been good. And even if they were in a hurry or impatient, they still took all the time needed to take care of me.

    However, scheduling is an area that needs some improvement. I just called to get a follow-up ant treatment and the automated message set up automatically. Here we are in early June and they said their service would be July 23rd, which was far out. Years ago, they were responsive and came right out. I've seen them go from a local office that you sent the appointment through to a more centralized one. That was when there has been a bit of disconnect between what's happening at home or here. And lately if say that I need appointments in the afternoon because I can't do morning, sometimes they go ahead and schedule in the morning. There are no charts being followed sometimes.

    And the last time I got a call from the service person saying, "You're on my schedule for tomorrow morning, is that okay?" It was a surprise to me. They don't always let me know when the appointment is and it's been a short notice sometimes. So, I'm a little challenged by their scheduling process right now and that's an area that needs some serious look to be customer-centered and to better plan for the customer's needs. And if they have to have a fill-in appointment, they need to have something in the night. And if they're gonna schedule it, they need to communicate that clearly to me either by a text or an email but I have not even gotten a notification from them. They just told me about it the next day. So, that's a planning area that's a bit of a challenge.

    Right now, I get an 800 number to call and schedule, and I don’t feel like I'm getting connected to my local people. In fact, I need to call them right now for a midway treatment because we have had more ants and some other bugs so we need to get that addressed. But that means that I need to find a block of time to call them and set up an appointment. But when they come out, they do very good.

    I've been with Terminix for three to five years and my experience with them has been great. We had issues with ants before but since Terminix has been coming out and spraying and since we've been on their maintenance program, we haven’t had that issue and I haven't noticed any creatures or ants. But it's important to have the preventative part of the service, so I wouldn't cancel the service now that I don’t see any ants because the ants could be back.

    I have the service of Terminix on an automated schedule so the techs come out every three months. Terminix calls in advance or sends an email to let me know when they have scheduled the tech to come out. The service is mostly done outside and I'm not home when the techs come, but my interactions with them have all been positive. The last service I had with Terminix was the outside spraying for ants as a precautionary measure. The service of Terminix has been helpful and I'd let people know the results that I've seen in my situation.

    We're on a plan with Terminix where they come regularly and that's been fine. Now and then, we see the occasional spiders and little creatures that lots of people have different names for. We've had different technicians over time, but I have also seen the same person a couple of times too, so there's been some consistency. They call in advance and we mostly do exterior service, so we don't see them a lot, but they've always handled things great. When we had a problem last summer with ants, they were right out here and solved it very quickly, and we haven't seen those ants since so it's good. The only thing that would cause us to discontinue service is the cost. It's expensive. It's worth it for those of us in the household who are squeamish but if it were cheaper that would be great. Other than that, I'd recommend them.

    A property that’s in a relocation program is for sale and as part of the relocation program, the relocation company that took over the marketing of that home and acted as the seller had inspections done. In those inspections, they found termites and the homeowner they were working with had Terminix come out and do a bid. When the relocation company took possession of the home, they wanted me to go ahead and have the treatment done so we wouldn’t have to worry about it later on. When the technician was out there, I met him, let him in and then left. He called and the power had flipped off in the house so he couldn’t drill.

    It’s fairly quick from my office, so I ran back out, opened things up so he could finish what he was doing and we couldn’t find the flip. However, he had an extension cord and got it worked out. Everything was good and the reps explained things. We also had some siding work done and the treatment was important so that the new siding did not get torn up too. Terminix had to look at the job again so I met with one person for that and he looked around to make sure nothing had changed. Doing business with them was seamless and the reps were very nice, professional, and polite. They were easy to work with, knew what they were talking about, did a good job and got there quickly.

    We lived down the country and the house we lived in at the time had a lot of wood.     I was not too happy with my latest experience with Terminix. I had a different technician and the guy was supposed to move the refrigerator and spray behind it. The first tech, John, did that before and he advised me that the Terminix techs are always gonna come and remove the refrigerator because the roaches always concentrate on that appliance. Also, he said that the roaches are always gonna be there even though I'm not gonna see them. They are always gonna be right behind the refrigerator and the cabinets although the cabinets were brand new.

    The guy who came the latest time didn’t do what John said. He went upstairs and sprayed really fast and then he came downstairs and sprayed there too. He said he didn’t see any roaches and I told him he had to go downstairs in the basement and spray everything. And he went downstairs like Flash Gordon and came out. I asked him if he had sprayed outside and he said he doesn't do that. And I told him that John told me that everybody has to spray outside even in the backyard. He said he doesn't have to spray up in the backyard either. And I left that issue alone.

    I didn’t have any roaches after John came out. But there were little roaches come on, and he put little boxes on it and now the boxes are removed. And because I have new tenants in the house, he told me the house is empty and all of them will be killed. And then he told me to call every two weeks if I need a service or if I don’t need it, I still have to call just to follow up to make sure there are no roaches.

    I have some problems with my Terminix coverage. I have no documentation of inspection and no renewal of my insurance contract with them. So, I give them about $350 a year and I have no documentation of what I paid for. This has been going on for a couple of years now and that’s bad business. The last ticket I have is about five years old. I gave a formal complaint online this spring but I heard nothing of it. I need the annual renewal certificate that says I'm covered and it expires next year. I also need an inspection report when the guys finish. They used to leave the papers for that, but that doesn’t happen anymore. Other than that, they treat for anything when they come out. They put sticks around the house and look at them. We’ve been in the house 32 years and when we moved in, we had a treatment. And we haven't had a treatment since.

    I made an appointment for Terminix then had to change it. After they gave me a new appt the person never showed up. They said someone on their end rescheduled it without telling me. So they were supposed to 2 days later on a day I had a Dr appt. I was running a bit late, called them at 12:47, told them I might not get him in time, they said they would let the guy know to spray outside first til I got there. I arrived at home at 1:15. He left a note with the time on it of 1:10pm so I missed him by 5 min. Called him 2xs and he never called back, called company and they also tried to call him and couldn't reach him. I am not very happy with this company. I told them if they couldn't get out tonight I was going to cancel and go with someone else. So they still haven't called and I'm calling someone else to come out. I have pets and kids and we don't like ants or spiders so I have no choice but to go elsewhere. Very disappointed in Terminix.

    I've had Terminix for a long time and they come when I call them. They recently came for our quarterly service and they sprayed the house. We were getting some spiders and pests in the house. Since they've come out, I have not seen any spiders, but I'll call them as soon as I do. But we're having an issue right now with them and their termite treatment. We keep getting letters from them saying that they'll do it for $24 plus a month. But then, when I called the guy, he said that it would cost us $1,000. The cost going from $24 a month to $1,000 doesn’t make sense to me. But other than that, I've had good experience with Terminix.

    We got squirrel problems so we tried Terminix. But then the technician found termites. He took on a personal interest as it was really noticeable and he was so concerned about it. He called his boss to turn the contract to termite instead of mice and squirrel. He was a good man.     We needed to get Terminix or somebody to come out because I've noticed that we had termites. I called several companies and I got just one quote and they were Terminix. The rep explained everything to me and then set up an appointment, told me it was free. I made an appointment with them and they came out and the rep showed me everything that they were gonna do. And then after that, he quoted me a price and I thought it was the best price so I went ahead and did it.

    The only thing I thought different was when the representative came out, I might have misunderstood what he said they were gonna do. I thought he told me they spaced the old hole that they did on this house about every 18 inches. But they told me, "Well, it was every 8 or 6 inches." And when the people came out to do it, they did it over the original one which was 18 inches apart. I found out and it was strange. And then, I might have misunderstood him but I thought he was gonna do our porch too. We have a cement porch and they just did it on the outside of it. They put canisters on the ground. It was a good experience except for that.

    We've set up quarterly inspection with Terminix. We knew Mike before so I talked to them about adding him to come in and do our quarterly and he always does a really good job. Every time I need a quarterly inspection and spray and everything like that, he is always able to do whatever he can. Then, if there are specific times that I'd rather have him come, then he's always willing to do that. He also always asks whether there are any issues. He comes out to spray and then set the new traps in if he needed to. At one point, we had a problem with mice in the ceiling but he always adds new traps and whatever it is that he adds on to it.

    We have a contract with Terminix where they come once a month. The rep is always sweet and calls me by my name and is very friendly. He's always thorough and I'm very happy with him. We had a raccoon problem and some mice issues a year and a half ago and that’s the only time I’ve ever called them out. However, the rep that came out was not the one that I have every month, and I wasn't real happy with him. He seemed to be a little quizzical about going a little deeper and finding the critter, which we ended up finding ourselves. So we paid a lot of money for somebody that was supposed to be an expert. But I've been very successful with Terminix overall.

    The service provided by Terminix was in the house in New Hampshire and it’s a seasonal situation where it needed some taking care of. Various heads of barriers broke down and the house had some ant problems. I scheduled the service online and then I received the call from Stacy from Concord, New Hampshire and they had an opening that was earlier than what was booked. We were able to do that so that was good.

    I talked to Stacy because I’ve been continually getting email from Terminix about scheduling my next service which would be due in August. These things started coming on the first part of June. When you go to their software, you cannot schedule any service beyond 60 days from the date that you now are at. So all the time, I was getting these ridiculous emails. I was getting to the point where I was gonna call and get the service to get done with it. If the company wants to book out for three months, they should open that window up so people can actually do it. I called Stacy in Concord and told her the same thing. She was very kind and opened up the scheduling part on her screen and was able to make the appointment for the day and the time that we wanted. The first and second go was July. The tech who came was very polite, efficient and he did a good job. Since the service, the pest activity has been much better.

    Being barraged by emails and messages about completing my account and my service is not helpful and it makes you lose the fact quickly that the service and the people were good. It becomes annoying and I felt like I was being stalked. The service was great, the follow up, the people and everything has been good but if I were not in possession of the phone number for Concord, I couldn’t resolve a couple of issues. Terminix is a reputable company and other than that, we have no complaints.

    Every quarter, Terminix comes out and services our home. I've had a couple of different technicians come and they're good. However, I've rescheduled a service before and it's better to call it in than to do it online because sometimes they don't get the message.     We signed up with Terminix for a spray for mosquitoes. We have a regular service and they've done it twice now for us. On the last one, they said they provided an updated formula and it works not only with mosquitoes but some other yard insects as well. We have seen a marked improvement in our backyard concerning mosquitoes especially so, we feel good so far. And the technicians have been absolutely wonderful. They always call first, let me know that they're coming, and they come right when they say they're gonna come. So, I always know when to expect them. And then if I'm home, we can have a conversation about anything that I particularly want them to do. But even if I'm not home, they will go ahead and do things on schedule and leave information for us at the door.

    The other thing that we have in addition to the by-monthly visits, I can call them at anytime and someone will come to address the problem we have. Say like we had an invasion of ants or even with termites in the house that we hadn't see for something, they'll be there. All I have to do is call them and they'll come. We have them do a full treatment where they treat all around and in the house if we want or anything from ants. They've even helped when we had some critters getting in to our attic. They came up, helped to clean that out, and sprayed it. It was very helpful. Also, we've done some other things like insulating upstairs which is aside from Terminix but Terminix got us set on the right road to do that.

    The wife found a roach in the house when we were moving in on April 20th. We had just bought the place and it was built in ’04 so it isn't very old. They ended up being wood roaches. When the technician first came out in the beginning of May, he sprayed around the outside of the house then he went inside and sprayed. He found a few dead ones and it seemed like it might have worked. But it seems the problem is getting worse instead of better.

    I got the technician's and the salesman's cell phone numbers, and I text them and call them every other day but I've gotten no response back. The technician comes and sprays even when I work and I talked to him one day when he came here. But that was two weeks ago and I've heard nothing back since then. I told them the situation doesn’t seem to get any better but they haven't sprayed anything back. We've even got ants in the house now. The technician has been really good talk to. But as far as actually taking care of my problem, it was very bad. I'm very dissatisfied.

    Years ago. I was having a problem with springtails and nothing I could find at the store could handle that. I gave Terminix a phone call and the rep I spoke with was good. I told the rep I've used the internet to figure out which bug it was and told them that I needed them to come by and do their thing, and their technician was out in a day. He was really nice. My house doesn’t have a basement. It has a crawl space and he didn’t have any qualms at all about going down into that nasty crawl space and spraying his special dust powder around. I tried to offer him a towel because it's dirty down there but he already had his own towel and booties so it was no trouble at all. He wiped them out in one fell swoop and I've just kept Terminix as a preventative since then.

    I've occasionally seen ants at certain times of the year and I've given them a call. They've come out and put some poison out, and they've been wiped out in a day or two. So far, Terminix is doing a fine job. I've continued to have them come quarterly for 10 years. It is a great company and worth the money. If there's a problem, they come right back out and they treat them. And they don’t charge anything extra for it.

    We treat recreation areas and currently, we're treating three areas. We have a mouse problem at Celina. We’re in a national forest and so, there will always be pest. Terminix is good and since our service with them, the pest activity has been a little better. Like for this historic house, it always has mice but they put out the traps and sometimes it looks like they don’t change them that often. However, they just have too much of a turnover of technicians. So sometimes I get a really good one and they’ll communicate with me very well. But then I won’t hear from the next one for a while and then I’ll hear that there’s a new one. Also, one time they need to get a key from me for the historic house and I’ve given out each different keys. But then the technician quit or whatever and then I never saw the key again. But I’d recommend Terminix.

    I was with Terminix in Indianapolis for 15 years. I got to where I knew them and they would ask how the family was on a regular basis. Then, I built a new house and moved here in February. I had some ants on the inside and I decided to go ahead and have Terminix come on a regular basis. They call to schedule my service and tell me when they would be out.     We just purchased a property in May and we wanted to get it checked because it's on a lake. I know that the termites go to where it's wet, that's what they like. I gave Terminix a call to come over and to inspect the house and someone came out. The techinician showed his badge and explained what he was gonna do. He said he was gonna go to the house and I could come with them. He looked for any signs of termites and checked around. He didn't find anything but he recommended if we wanted to do the treatment plan. We have ants and I've been spraying them but I'm thinking of calling Terminix to come out and do it because it's a losing battle. The tech told me when they came out that if the regular ants eat the bait stations they put in, it would kill them. But the bait stations do not attract ants, it's only to termites.

    Terminix is a little expensive. The guy told me the first treatment plan's rough cost was gonna be around $1,300 but he gave us a discount. I had a coupon and he said that he had given me a better one than that. And it cost about $900. They put 16 or 17 bait stations out because they needed to use so many of them. But he said that the payment would be down to around $300 next year. The people who live across the way on the lake that we're on had termites in their house. They said it was very expensive to get rid of it. So, Terminix is like a peace of mind. What we included in the policy, they guarantee that if we get termites, they would pay for all the damage and refund the cost. I would recommend them.

    I've had a couple of problems with hornets and mice.     All my calls to Terminix have gone streamlined and it’s been a good experience when I'm scheduling a service. The last call I made to them was when I saw some other bugs out after they did their quarterly process of their program and I wanted them to address it. So, they came out as specified in the agreement that they would come out in between my scheduled appointment if we saw anything we felt should’ve been addressed during the quarterly appointment. There have been different technicians who have come out and their visits went well. One of the things they could do is that sometimes they really do a more thorough job in addressing what I’ve asked about, which is why I pay for the service. Otherwise, I have to have them come back out. Other than that, our situation regarding the pests is better than before.

    We have a monthly service from Terminix. And they spray for bugs and set the traps and the bait for the mice. We have the same guy every time and he's awesome. His name is Logan, and he always asks, “Hey, what can I do for you? Have you seen anything, anything that I need to…?” We still catch mice because we're in a golf course somewhere out and we have a garage downstairs. But in the whole time we’ve had Terminix, we’ve only seen one upstairs in the area where people are. So Logan is doing a good job of catching them before they get a chance to get up here.

    Terminix is fine. Looking back at the records which goes all the way back to 2016 and further so we have been a Terminix customer for a long time now. They come and they treat the property twice a month. The technician has access to the building so he normally comes in on a Saturday morning. He treats the areas that needed to be treated inside and out. After that, he submits an invoice to Equifax. However, the invoice needs to be sent to Collier.

    I have talked to the technician on the phone. We had an outstanding balance and the service was temporarily suspended. We paid all our outstanding balances and I never saw the guy or I never got anything from Terminix. He was supposed to forward me the invoices that he had sent but I never got those although I am getting the current invoices.

    We have a new AP process and I really need Terminix to follow that to make sure that their invoices get paid in a timely manner. Right now, they're setting the invoices to the address of service which is not where the invoices need to go. I was trying to reach someone at Terminix so that we could get the billing information corrected and they go on to a call center so I can't talk with the same person. I do have a person that I'm working with on the accounts payable side but being able to get that person to have them send me invoices correctly is a little challenging right now. It's a mess. Other than that, the twice a month treatment is keeping our pest down to bare minimum and we don't see them so I will continue to use Terminix to make sure that we don't have any problems.

    The Worst. After reading reviews which I did not do (big regret) I now know firsthand why they are rated so poorly. I needed mosquito control and I had my first appointment set for 05/30/2018, Terminix changed my original date without notice (I had to call to find out why No Show). The tech that finally came out was polite, sprayed where I wanted and for the first 24 hours it seemed to be working. But after three days the pest were back like nothing was done.

    So, I called to reschedule a re-treatment for today 06/06/2018 between 10-Noon appointment with notice that if they rescheduled, did not confirm or show up to cancel my contract. Well, guess what yap same thing. No Show, No communication so I called this morning and the phone person was nice and said she emailed five managers. I asked her to read the notes in the system which states my intentions. Bottom line I canceled contract and DO NOT RECOMMEND Terminix due to poor service and products.

    I had an issue with moles in my yard. They came to my house and tricked me into a year subscription for an "Exclusion Service" for ~$750. They made me digitally signed a contract in a cellphone. I was OK with it as they state they provide THE STRONGEST GUARANTEE IN THE BUSINESS. They came to install some cheap mole repellers and said they'd come back after 1-2 weeks. After three weeks I contacted them to inform them the mole situation hadn't improve. I texted the inspector as well and he'd say they'd come back soon. They didn't. Called to cancel the service.     I called Terminix, because of favorable reviews, for a pest problem (mice) in the attic and garage. The salesman recommended a very expensive solution to which we agreed. Terminix came in and closed entry points where pests were coming in and guaranteed that we would not have any other problems. The next day we saw mice again, so we called the salesman and he didn't really want to deal with us, but after our urging, brought us some mice traps to put down ourselves. After another call to the salesman when we again saw mice, he ignored us. I called the main customer service number and complained. Finally a manager called me and then gave me his direct number and he ensured that a technician came back out to correct the problem. The big sale was done, so little did we know that everything must go through the 1-800 customer service line (a central dispatch somewhere in the US for everything) or through a website account.

    If you deal with Terminix, there is no direct contact or local customer service. It is extremely insulated to channel customers through these two portals for service or complaints. Now I am having issues with the financing company, and I had to call them because they sent me two different payments with two different accounts and had to leave a message and now must wait for a return call from the financing company. Really feel like once they have the money, you must figure it out. I would not recommend them, there is no local support, the business is insulated and internet-based, and if you have problems, good luck. The technicians performing the services have been fine, but you can't discuss billing or service problems with them, they are there for a specific purpose. Management likes to stay behind the scenes.

    Terminix came, did a free inspection, found no problem with the house, recommended something that we could use to keep it that way, and we went that way. I took their protection plan to get stuff put in the ground to get the termites away from the house and that was it. They were very efficient, quick and professional. They come back and check in six months to a year. I’d recommend them. They are a little bit high in price, but it is what it is.

    I had spiders in my house when we first moved in. My brother-in-law sold for Terminix and I had talked to him and he set my account for me.     I have Terminix come at least two or three times during the summertime because that’s when I have issues. They schedule it, and they have a system where they send you an email and say your upcoming appointment is scheduled for a certain time. If it's not convenient, press this and then it links you to their page and then you can either reschedule or cancel it. We live in the green mountains of Vermont so there are lots of critters here, and if I feel like the level of activity is too much, I can always call Terminix and they’ll come out for me. They're doing a great job in the pest market and especially where we live. Also, I've had a couple of really good techs. There was one time where a guy only came once and I didn’t know him, but generally the same guy comes all the time and he asks me if I have anything that I'm concerned about. The last time that Chris came out, I said I have carpenter ants and he presented a solution, and they're really good with that.

    I've been with Terminix for two weeks now but I had it when I lived in California, but we hadn’t used it for several years. We schedule our services online and it was very easy. I just put that I wanted to have someone come do an inspection for termites and they scheduled it. They were here very quickly. They sprayed around the house, but I'm still noticing stuff so I may have to call them back out.

    I had one very pleasant and one bad experience with them. When they came to do the termites, their technician drilled down through the front step down into our basement and threw a metal like over the flushing where the front door is. He drilled six holes that weren't necessary and he said it was that the salesman had put the wrong place for him to drill on there, but he said he felt like he hit something and wanted to check. He had hit four holes into the threshold so they filled it in with cement from the topside and some little cork thing and said it should be good. But I'm really hoping when we get a big rain it doesn’t leak into our basement.

    The guy was super nice and explained what he was gonna do, but then that happened so we were a little disappointed. We were also supposed to have our initial pest thing the same day but somebody had messed up our schedule so they ended up having to come the next day. And there again, he really tried hard to do a good job to make us happy and and took care of us that way.

    But when they first started and the guy came to check because we had had a swarm of termites around the front door, he had a contract and did it wrong. He put that we were gonna put $1800 down so he checked our credit and said that we have good credit and only needs 10% down. I called him back and said that it was not what we agreed to. We were gonna make monthly payments over 18 months. So he came back, put the credit through again and they wanted 50% down but it was not what we agreed to. He wrote up the contract, turned it in and it came back 24 months instead of 18 months. It seems to be a nightmare trying to get it all right. We're just gonna try to pay it off within the 90 days.

    I built a house in a new development and Terminix was going door to door to all the new houses in the area and offering services. They had pretty good deals and so me and a bunch of my neighbors went ahead with them. During the initial service, the tech came came up, introduced himself and let me know he was there. He took care of the outside of the house fairly quickly. Then there were a few places inside that he sprayed. He was really polite, explained what he was doing and then he was on his way. When it would rain, we’d get a bunch of spiders in the mechanical room and the downstairs bathroom. But since their service, it’s rained a couple of times and we haven’t had a single bug. So far, I’m happy.

    I have had bait stations from Terminix for 10 years. They come and service, most of the time I have to show them where they are. I recently had a termite swarm and I have called 5 times. Every time I waited at least 10 minutes on hold to get someone who then said they do not make appointments, they would contact local office (which is not possible for me to call), they put on hold each time for another 5 minutes and come back every time saying they could not reach anyone but someone will call me back. No one has. I went on their website to try and make an appointment which is what the recording says you can do while on endless hold and it is not possible to make an appointment online, you fill out the form and press submit and it comes back not able to submit. Their service is horrendous.

    I have had nothing but grief from these people since they showed up. A friend highly recommended them so I thought I would try. First off the encapsulation. They sold me on to put under the house is crap! The dehumidifier they put in first was not installed correctly. When they came out to inspect it 7 months later, they found that it has been leaking under the house for 7 months, causing more mold than what was already there. Then a month later the device started to mess up and you can hear it through the floor as it was about to burn up, after a few weeks they came out and replaced it again. I could of saved myself about $5000 worth of headache if I wanted to screw up my house with mold myself.

    The bug service is spotty at best. Not sure what they are spraying, but it doesn't seem to be any sort of bug repellant. More like a water, hasn't done anything for bug nor spiders. If they mix it themselves then they need to re-read the directions. They have a truck with a hose on it full of bug repellant they say but they insist on using a 1 gallon pump sprayer. Nowhere near the volume that would of come out of the truck mounted device. Now the big thing. They have not been to my house in 7 months for various reasons, but the still manage to STEAL $178.87 out of my account for service that were not rendered. I have tried to contact them, but their Call Center will not let you talk to anyone of importance to get the matter resolved. I would not recommend these people to anyone. I would give them a Negative 5 if I could.

    We have real bad mosquitoes and when we were at the resort, and I saw a fog and I wondered if people who live in the house could get that. I did research and Terminix came up as the number one company. I read the reviews and then I called them and we're doing good so far. They sprayed once and we had a little bit of mosquitoes still there. And they come back and did it for us and we haven't seen one yet. So we haven't even had our 2nd real application. They come out once a month from April to October, which is the season for the mosquitoes. The Terminix technician is super nice and careful. He explained he wouldn't spray the flowering plants on the bloom because we're trying to be careful about the bees. I'm so satisfied and thankful that there is such a thing as the Terminix service and that we can enjoy our time outside. I've already recommended them to several people.

    We saw a little web coming down through a beam. When my son took it down, he saw that he had little white worms in it so he said that we will go to Terminix. We called them and they came out and found out it was termites. So Terminix went on and did the job. They put 18 sticks around the house and done this up here with the wood. Then, they told us to call them if we had a problem and if not, they'd be back in a year. But they're still coming out of this wood up here so, I'm not satisfied.

    We had some pest issues and it was time to call an exterminator. I called Terminix and asked about the cost and prices, and they scheduled for someone to come. They had a new person in training the first time they came, and I assume that's the person that will be coming back 'cause we signed on for a seasonal package.     I had an issue with carpenter bees and scheduling the service with Terminix took forever. I called the Raytown office and they didn’t schedule my appointment. I called again and they were supposed to have been out here one day in the afternoon. They didn’t come. So I waited and waited and I called back. Then I called back the next morning and tried to get them to come back out again. They didn’t come that day either. So I said okay, I've had it. So I called and got a hold of somebody in Texas, and got a hold of somebody in Tennessee.

    Finally somebody on the Kansas side called me up and said, “Hey, I see you needed a Terminix person.” I said, “Yes, I do. I'm tired with dealing of this company though already." I was like, "I'm never calling you again." Then they finally came out. The technician sprayed some bee holes and then he sprayed around the outside of my house and that was the end of that.

    And then another guy came up on the second trip and he said, “We really don’t need to spray around the interior of your house. We just need to spray the holes.” And he didn’t do the outside. He just did the holes and that was the end of that. I haven't seen any pest activity since the service. Both technicians were polite and they did the job they were supposed to do. And then they gave me the paper to sign and then they left. So overall, the guys did a good job once they got here but trying to get a hold of Terminix and getting set up to go was pitiful. I would never recommend that to anybody.

    This year was a little bit tough. Terminix had to come out a total of three times before we started seeing a decrease in ants but usually, it’s not that bad. It just seemed like this year, they were particularly stubborn. The technicians that came out were sometimes different. But the last few times, it has been the same one and was very good. They answered questions and were relatively easy to get a hold of and would give us a heads up when they're coming by email and then a phone the day before. They’re very good and we appreciate it.     I needed some kind of protection against field mice and things like that so I got Terminix. The reps were very responsive when we were scheduling the service. And the technicians were very friendly and cooperative. They did everything I asked them to do, so they were very nice. They did an exclusionary treatment to my house recently where they sealed the wall up into the outside crevices to get inside to prevent anything from getting in and they did a good job with that. We had a couple of mice over the last couple of years that seemed to get in somehow and I thought that was where they were getting in. I figured as the house gets older, I would like to have that protection on hand. It’s a lifetime protection thing as long as you pay the maintenance fee every year which was what I chose to do. I called them back where they missed a couple of spots and they’ve taken care of it now. Terminix is worth the money and I recommend them.

    We never used pest control before and we always use the termite control, but this past winter coming into spring, we saw ant activity in the volume that we’ve never seen before, so we contacted Terminix to come out and take a look at it. Mike came out and he went all the way around the house. He found an estimate of four or five pockets of ant colonies, told us what it was, showed us where it was, and spent the next hour or so spraying everything down and leaving traps in the garage. It worked wonderfully well because we haven’t seen an ant since he left. This was probably a month ago, so it was effective and Mike is very good at it seeing what he did. The representatives that we spoke with when we scheduled the service were very accommodating. They found Mike for me within four or five days and my experience with Terminix was excellent.

    Greg, my technician from Terminix, is the most lovely, thoughtful, professional and kind man. I just wish somebody would set up a monthly visit with him and not make me call in because it is a very tedious process for me. It’s medically hard for me to do that and I’m paying twice as much as I was for 1/3 the service. Even if all I had was the outside dusting constantly once a month, then that would be very helpful. Just the inside ones every three months would be a very successful treatment route regimen.

    I also had Theodore in Maryland who took care of me for 18 years. He went from being a technician to a regional manager. He always took care of my house once a month. Dave is also thoughtful and consistently professional. I have wheels for legs and he has never treated me like I’m handicapped. They treat my home as if it was their home and they look for things and look outside the box. I’ve had two snakes in my garage which was a little scary. They are good at rescuing me.

    However, Dave discovered a terrible thing that had happened. Many of my things were destroyed by this contractor who was a bully and physically pushed me out of the way and brought in a wood-eating fungus. He brought in his manager to clarify what it was and they determined what the remediation would be. The builder said he was going to remediate it because he admitted it was their fault, but he canceled the remediation. I think he was gonna drive me out of here. Wrong. It’s my home. I called Dave and asked, "What do I do?” He said we had to act immediately.

    They did the remediation and they put in a professional dehumidifier. I chose the next to the highest one. It turned out it was faulty. I identified it and they followed through it. And that was because of Dave. He stood up for what was right because I couldn’t get anywhere with his managers. I’ve called Terminix's customer service line, and they don't respond to any of my calls now. Nevertheless, I'm very happy with Dave and Greg.

    When we bought our house, there was an inspection that showed that there were previous termite issues. So, we've had Terminix on our termite inspection on an annual basis. They usually, send me emails saying that they're planning to be at my house at a certain time and asking if that works for me. If it doesn't, I tell them I can't be there and tell them when I can be.

    During the service, the termite technicians enter the crawlspace from outside of our house. The bug person who comes inside the house is really pleasing to be with. She does a good job and explains things to me, and then always offers that if I'm not seeing results I want to see, I should call them back and they’ll come right back out. On my last bug spray, we had a different kind of bug coming in. So, I called and said that I still had an issue and they scheduled another visit. Nevertheless, the sprays generally take care of everything and it was the first time I’ve had to call them back. Overall, I’m pretty pleased with the service. Terminix does a good job.

    Terminix comes automatically every quarter to spray on the outside of the house. What they do on the outside seems to control everything on the inside so they have never had to spray on the inside. I've talked to the tech four or five times and he’s a real nice person. He’s knowledgeable in what he’s doing and he does a good job. He had explained what he was doing to me. Outside, I can see where they get in the bees and pests and they die and fall out. I've been using Terminix for about 2 years now and then I got a card for a free termite inspection. I called them and I met the guy. He tried to find termites, but he didn’t. And when he got done, he told me, “I don’t believe it. Every house in this neighborhood has got termites, but you don’t.” So, all has been good and I'm very satisfied with Terminix.

    It's been a wonderful experience with Terminix. They do their service every three months and they got rid of my roaches. The technician came in and at that day, I wasn’t feeling too well. I just sat in a chair and he went around and did what he does and did a marvelous job. After the first time he sprayed, it took care of all our roaches. He put mouse traps out too and we very seldom ever see a mouse now. And the roach guy calls and says he’ll be here on a certain day. They call about a week in advance to let me know they're coming out.

    I have recommended Terminix to some other people. I'm so proud of them because before them, I had Arab, who didn’t get rid of the problem and wasn’t improving at all, while Terminix took care of it in a hurry. It’s just that I've got the termite things around the roof but they've never been up here to check them. I thought maybe they had when I was gone but I haven't seen any of them.

    We have the annual inspection with Terminix and if we have a problem along the way and if we see something, either we call the technician, Jeff, directly or we have an 800 number we call. Most recently, the technician came, did an inspection, and explained the findings from that inspection. He did everything he needed to do for pest control. He’s somebody we’ve had right along, so it’s a professional but friendly relationship. Also, there hasn't been any pest activities since they've been out.     There was some termite activity around in my house, so I called Terminix. We have the quarterly check where they come out and they clean around the house. They did the outside, but then we started seeing some spiders and things showing up in the house and we called them. They came out as soon as they could and took care of it. We’ve had quite a turnover over the years with technicians. But the young man that comes out now is very friendly and personable and he does a good job.

    I usually set up the service online and it’s not difficult at all. But there seems to be a little lack of communication between setting up things online and the local office. I’ve rescheduled an appointment online, but then they ended up calling and trying to come out on the date that was originally scheduled. Other than that, we've had good results with Terminix and it has been effective. I would recommend that people give them a try at least.

    Terminix was easy to get ahold of and it's easy for them to schedule. They sent the same guy back out which was helpful. I had carpenter bees really mad, chewing wood, flying around and after Terminix' first visit they were 99% gone. But I saw a tiny bit of evidence a few weeks later. Terminix came right back out and treated that just a few days ago and they came back and we treated the house. I saw eight buggers would be normal and I'm very happy. The technician seemed to know his job and the bugs, and was experienced. He did what he said they would do and was very nice about it.

    I told the guy I was recommending them to my neighbor because I've seen those bees on a few other houses. I got my house treated because I don’t want the bugs back. What will happen is if you’ve got those flying bugs, they're gonna chew in the area. If they didn’t all get killed, they go away and I don’t want them chewing anybody else’s house. They’ll chew your house up, they’ll breed and they’ll be out in the neighborhood.

    I moved into this house eight years ago and my dad hired the self-employed guy who had a business. They took out some bad trees in the back and treated everything for termite. Then he retired and went out of business. Terminix bought his book of business and I've been with Terminix for about six years since then. I have an annual termite checkup and I usually get an email that reminds me that it's time to schedule my appointment. Sometimes I schedule it by phone and sometimes on the website. Then they either call to confirm the night before or the morning of and then show up and do their thing.

    One time, a guy never showed up and didn’t call. I called Terminix and they said that he got lost. But I never saw him again so he could have been let go. That was three years ago and that was the only time that I had any issue with scheduling. Plus given that this has been a long relationship, it was really no big deal. He came back the next day and took care of it. I also work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible. It was not like I missed the time waiting for him to be here.

    The guy who came for the first appointment this year called, confirmed the time and made sure that I was gonna be here for my appointment. He showed up on time, went straight to work and got it done. It was quick and easy. I get a different technician every year and they always say that everything looks fine. Aside from that time three years ago, they usually don't offer additional service. I know for a fact that there's stuff in my crawl space and they could do a better job of upselling. I'm probably not gonna pay somebody to take it out. It's not like I'm having a major infestation. But they should have said something to me. If I was the owner, I would say they are missing an opportunity to at least encourage somebody to do something else besides just their annual, $100 a year wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am kind of thing.

    I had bed bugs in my house from my ex-wife and I looked to see who does service for it. I called Terminix, they came to my house and the tech started looking around. They found bed bugs in one of the bedrooms, so they had the guy come back a week or two later and do my whole house. He sprayed inside the house and looked for any bed bugs, then he sprayed the outside of my house. They were very friendly. They asked me what kind of issues I was having and I told them. I took all my carpeting out of my house and got all new carpeting because I don't like bugs. That cost me some money but it's well worth it. I haven't had any problems since then. If somebody runs into the same kind of situation I had, I'd be more than happy to tell them that Terminix is fast.

    I had Terminix do a treatment on my house before I bought it but my previous treatment didn’t roll over. I wasn’t aware that I had to roll over the service contract and I had to get that done to refinance the house. I'm in a contract with Terminix for termite treatment now. Although my house doesn’t have termites, I have the history of it and Terminix is gonna check yearly and make sure that everything’s good.

    They've also done the whole barrier around the house and the technician who came out was on time and very informative. I felt really bad because I was on a tight schedule and I was rushing him with my work. But he definitely worked with the time I had, answered all my questions and gave me the best option for my house. He also asks me any particular areas I want to be sprayed, and he goes throughout the house and he sprays everything. He then went down the basement, and he sprayed and does the perimeter of the house. He is awesome and really personable. We chat a little bit before he does his work, too. He does not rush. We schedule through the website, and if I am not available, I can go online and change it. I have to call him back because I happen to have some. I have really bad arachnophobia. So I tell anybody, “If you don’t like spiders in your house, you call Terminix.” They are like Godsent to me.

    We bought some new furniture and we wound up with bed bugs. So, we called Terminix. We asked the tech how we got the bugs and he inquired if we bought new furniture. When we said we did, he went in nanny’s room and checked the one we bought. Then, he said there was our problem. Terminix also did the drill for termites because we're building onto the house. And now, we have no more pests. They recently came out to check the termite deal to make sure there was no evidence of any activity and there wasn’t.

    So far, we have been with Terminix for over a year. Their techs were great and their reps were very informative. They answered our questions and were always respectful of our house even though it was under construction. Everybody was fantastic and we have no complaints.     The work that Terminix did was great. When I schedule my service calls, I call the main number. Then, they give me a time frame so I make sure I'm here within that time frame.     Terminix's service was good. I had horrible termites coming from my daughter’s wall and a guy from Terminix came out. But before that, I had a very hard time scheduling online. They scheduled me first on a Sunday and apparently, that’s a glitch with the computer. It sets up Friday with Sunday appointments which I thought would be great, but they don’t really exist, so no one came. That delayed the job by a few weeks and that was the biggest bummer because it really took some hunting down to get the technician. But then once the guy came, he was awesome. He said that the scheduling glitch was the common challenge, so they have to figure out the system. He went over what I needed to do and he did not scare to me to death, which was good. He also set up the next appointment and answered my questions.

    And then the guys came and they put the traps in because it was raining. They said they could not spray the poison in and they'd come back. I wasn’t there when they came back the next time but they sprayed around the house. And now, I need to pay them a hot $1,300 to be done with this. That’s really expensive. They said that I would not notice a major difference in the pest activity even though it would take three months to be sure that this had done anything. So, to cool my jets and hope for the best, I don’t think about it.

    Terminix comes every three months to look at traps and see if anything’s been eaten and then move on. That's the standard operating procedure. As far as my experience with Terminix, the biggest negative was the scheduling. But the biggest positive was when the guy came to the house. He was very honest and he understood that I’m a single mom with three kids. He seemed to be somewhat sensitive when he was writing up his price tag.

    Last summer, I had a really bad problem with German roaches and Terminix took care of it almost immediately. Recently, Terminix came for our quarterly maintenance service.     Over a year ago because I had some evidence of mice in my attic I investigated the attic with a Terminix representative who suggested that I need their exclusion service because we saw mice droppings and maybe a dead mouse. They came out and did some work for which they charged me over $1,000. This past fall I caught at least 4 mice in my garage and yesterday while checking out my HVAC system with a repairman I found a significant amount of mice droppings and 4 more dead mice in my attic. I think I've found more mice in my house in the one year after their Exclusion Service than I did in the 13 years before I hired them to perform an exclusion service. Needless to say I cancelled their exclusion service contract and since I feel like they don't care I will start shopping the rest of their services.
