    I bought my house in 1990 and started using Terminix then, and I've used them every year since. They do about seven applications a year and I'm very happy with the service they provide. I call to see if I need anything on the inside. One time, I did and they came in. The rest of the time, it has been the outside perimeter of the house and windows. The technicians who come are excellent and they seem to be controlling the pests.

    I’ve had Terminix here for a while and I haven’t had any major issues with that. Also, we had a few estimates and they seemed reasonable. We were able to finance the insulation which was really helpful. We most recently had attic insulation and the workers that came were really nice. They called me, were on time, and cleaned up afterward. They did pretty well. But I’m a little confused about this last interaction we had with the gentleman who helped us out with this particular treatment that we were getting.

    Our biggest concern was that we had carpenter ants and we were under the understanding that a technician was gonna come out and treat the property. I heard that he was here because he called and left me a message but he never left me a work order, so I don’t know what was done. And he was never able to come into the house.

    Now, I’ve seen a few of the carpenter ants flying in the house. They’re no longer just only on the outside. I reached out to the gentleman who was helping me with the insulation. That was on a Monday and he said he would call me later that day to answer my questions. but I hadn’t heard from him until I sent him a message that he’s going to try to meet with me on Monday to finalize some kind of paperwork regarding the carpenter ants. So, I’m confused why we haven’t had anybody come out for the carpenter ants. He said that would be something that he was gonna have the technician come out and do. But when the technician was supposedly here, he never made it into the house.

    Also, there were Palmetto bugs outside the house that were making their way up. I kept asking if it was part of the treatment and he said it was. But if it’s being treated, why and how are they making it into the house and how are those little snail things still crawling on the walls. Now, I’m waiting and seeing what happens with the carpenter ants claim. I hope I didn’t get tricked into signing something and now I’m gonna be signing something else to have the actual problem solved, which from the very beginning, were carpenter ants.

    Terminix does great stuff. I have maybe one bug a year in my house and that’s all. We haven’t had any termites here at all. I had some mice last year. I told Terminix about them and they’re all gone now. We live right next to big fields and we get field mice that come in and Terminix has really done a great job of taking care of this place. Also, I see the obligatory ants every cold season and they knock that in the head.

    Most recently, Terminix came out and treated for mice and to prevent insect, and they did a great job. We live in the country but we don't see anything. Terminix comes out four times a year. They also do fine in terms of scheduling the service. They call me ahead of time and the representatives are friendly. They seem to be great employees. When the technicians are here, they knock on the door to let us know what they are doing then when they leave, they let us know they are done.

    For 40 years that I've been with Terminix, my experience has been okay. Every year around February, they schedule an appointment with me. The technicians that they send out answer my questions to the best of their abilities. They also give me suggestions on how to keep termites out of my house. However, I had some extra work done by Terminix and I wasn't too pleased. I had insulation done in my attic and I had leak under my cupboard which was repaired. There was to be a paint on it which could go about $1000 and it's still leaking. I had it done because I paid for the insulation in my attic. I also had a fan placed to keep the attic cool when it got real hot so I had that done too. I spoke to the guy that did the service and he said that he didn't remember me having a contract to put insulation. I need to find the paperwork so I can get the exact information, what to pay. I'm dissatisfied with the insulation part but I'm pleased with the inspections for termites.

    For my service, Terminix emailed me and told me exactly who was coming. They gave me a picture of my technician and they were correct on that. The guy did his test. After they found out what was going on, another guy came and put the bait stations. Terminix had really nice people. It started to snow, but the guy that put the bait stations had no problem with drilling the hole. I told him that close to the mill, there were not very many stone sections. He did the holes, came in, and told me he was done. Their guy was very proficient and when I asked him for a copy of what he did, he went out and printed it off then gave me a list of how many stations he put in. I counted them and they were correct.

    Terminix comes out every other month for the church and the technicians that have come out to spray have been doing a good job. My interactions with the Terminix representatives any time I've had to call for my home have been excellent, however, I've had issues with the scheduling for the church. We had an infestation of some kind of small beetle in the building and I called to get service. They were promising instant reaction, but it never happened. I went through two times, but I couldn't get a hold of anybody. One thing I don't like is that I couldn't call a local office. If I call a local number, I get the call center, wherever they are, but they couldn't even find the manager to arrange a service. I complained about that to Terminix. Also, I couldn't talk to the local people because when I call them, the call service picks it up and the local people don't ever call me back.

    In addition, the prices periodically go up on a regular basis. And in both cases, I talked to my technician at the house. He talked to somebody and they guaranteed to leave it at 90 a month. They would go back to 90 a month and it worked for three months, then it started creeping back up again. I finally talked to somebody at the 800 number, who apparently got the issue taken care of because it remained steady. As far as the commercial, I ended up going to the office because I could never talk to anybody. I talked to the residential manager and he got the commercial manager on the telephone, and I haven't had any problems since then. They also reduced the price back to a specific level and it is not supposed to go up again.

    I’m not a fan at all of Terminix. I have several complaints that I put into their New Jersey office including an ant issue. No matter what type of spray or poison they put, these ants are still coming. I even did the baits outside but that wasn’t fixed. I spoke with the area manager who has failed to this day to get back to me in regards to all my concerns. Then on top of that, it took five months to get the $50 credit when you sign up as a first-time customer. I signed up in July or August and I didn’t get the credit until maybe October or November. Needless to say, I’ve been getting the charge amount monthly. I've talked to numerous reps and they said they were gonna send it to higher-ups and get this fixed. But nothing has been fixed so I stopped payment.

    Somebody called me and asked if I would like to do a payment. I told her she clearly didn’t look at my file or didn’t study their customer before asking me for payment because I have a lot going on. And maybe they should be notated. They say they notate every time somebody calls in. So, the date and time is stamped or the ID should be stamped every day, if that’s true. But nobody has addressed my concerns. They are quick to overcharge me but still not take care of my problem.

    Also, I still have mice issues. They put the bait box and it was empty for two months before they actually came out and refilled it. One technician that came to do the work was like, “Give me about an hour. I’ll be back to fill up your bait box,” and never came back. Even the last service I had, the guy came out and just sprayed on the outside. I asked if he could spray the inside but he said his appointment was only for the outside. It was gonna rain the next day and I said the purpose of him spraying on the outside is gonna get washed away. But they didn’t care to listen.

    Customer service is big. I’ve been doing retail for about 16 years and I will never cheat any of my customers the way I’ve been cheated. I only took Terminix because my dad has them in Florida but if I could go back, I would've never chosen Terminix. If none of my concerns could be fixed and my rodent issues can’t be fixed, what’s the point of having a policy? I started looking at the reviews. I’m not the first, second, or third customer that complains about getting ripped off on the monthly payment and not having their pest problem taken care of. That speaks for itself.

    I've had excellent experiences scheduling service with Terminix. Their techs come once a month and spray to keep spiders and bugs down. They also check for Termites annually.     I used the online chat option assuming it would be more convenient. The agent was rude and cut me off, dismissed my questions, insisted that I make a phone call instead, and ended the chat before the conversation was over. I restarted the chat and was immediately cut off again by the same agent! It is outrageous to be treated like this as a paying customer. It doesn't matter what the quality of your pest control service is when you don't have respect for your customers as reflected in your agents' behavior. There is clearly no supervision or quality assurance, otherwise the agent wouldn't have felt free to treat a customer like that. This has been my worst customer service experience since the agent was both unhelpful AND rude.

    My experience with Terminix was very bad. They gave me a 90-day guarantee and they said that within those 90 days, they would come in and spray as many times as needed. They would set up the appointment, I would call to confirm it and it would be confirmed, but then the technician would never show up. I’d call their customer service and they’d set up a new appointment and then they would not show up for that one. I've had to reschedule four or five times. Also, my account was online with them so I would review that and the appointment would not be showing on my account even after I confirmed it. Then they did not get rid of the pest that I had hired them to do. I’m still having the same issue. I would not hire Terminix again and I would not recommend them to anyone.

    Terminix does termite and pest for me and I've had good experiences with them. I've used Terminix for four years and when scheduling a service, they would tell me when they're coming. And for the most part, they don't have to come in the house and I don't even have to be here. I would tell them that I don't have any dogs in the yard. The only thing strange that happened was I would get an email message saying that they were coming on such and such date and they wouldn't. So, I got to where when they'd tell me they were gonna be on a certain day, I would wait until a day or so before, and then confirm with them to make sure so that I didn't have stay home when I didn't need to.

    I've talked to the man doing the work and he didn't understand because as far as he can tell, we were never scheduled. That happened to me twice. And the last time was six months ago and it hasn't happened since. It wasn't bad enough for me to get angry but it was strange that the system scheduled me and then the schedule changed and then they didn't update me that the schedule changed.

    Nevertheless, the technicians have been really good. They were very polite and they made sure that there were no issues. They made sure that I know about the areas to avoid and for how long. They wore booties when they came into the house. They seemed to know what they were doing and they were very responsive to anything. If there's a problem, they'll do something about that. So, I am happy with them. Our home got better after they were here. For some, that's hard to say because the seasons are changing. But what they did when we were having a minor roach problem coming in from outside, they sprayed all around the house outside. And we noticed that after two or three days, it wasn't happening anymore.

    I've been with Terminix for four months now, and it has been great. However, we’re still having some difficulty with bugs and we need to get a hold of the tech to come spray again. Getting his schedule and mine lined up is the hardest part because it’s really hard for me to be here that much. Nevertheless, their reps have been great. The first one was Woody, and I really liked him. But he was promoted to being a lead and he’s not on house calls anymore. So he brought Matt out one time and introduced him and then Matt has taken over from there. Both of them are very nice guys and they have done great.

    We began with Terminix in 2/2017. Renewed our contract in 2018 with hesitation because they had charged our credit card without our permission. We finally got that ironed out and had so so luck. The young man who actually does the service is Awesome. The company billing office sucks. We decided not to renew our contract in 2/2019 as we were moving. I informed the service technician we were not renewing and to not do the service. I informed him several times do not do the service I will not pay. Well he did the service stated his manager said to do it free of charge. I have received 2 bills from the main booking office since. I send them back stating I did not renew contract was not ordered I will not pay. My advice be careful be very very careful when dealing with this company.

    Terminix comes out every quarter for one contract and yearly for another. Scheduling with them over the phone is very easy. The technician for my pest control is wonderful. He always informs me what he's doing and what he's gonna do. There are certain seasons in Florida where the wasps just come out and they build nests everywhere, and he spots those. He takes care of all those and he is very good. I'm really happy with him. I hope they don't change him because he's very good. As far as my termite control, one person was very thorough. I had a couple of others come out but I have not had any problem with the termite service. Terminix provides an excellent service. I've been with them for years off and on at different residences and I don't have any complaints about it. I would definitely recommend them.

    The best trap they have ever made is the contract. The only service they did is spray and set the bait base - all you can do by yourself with much less cost. And there is no service scheduled in advance, they just knock your door and start the service. The customer service is nightmare!!! They only call you for money collection and they won't strech their hand when you are in real trouble. Get away from these bugs!!!

    We’ve had Terminix for over 20 years. They have my termite services and also my house pest controls. Usually, we have our quarterly visits. Recently, we had somebody come in to check for termites and anything that could create problems as far as pests. As far as they could tell, nothing is wrong with the house so we are good. When we had some bees in our garage, a guy came to see what was going on. I was out of town when he came but he must have fixed the problem because I don’t see any bees.

    Terminix usually contacts me and tell me what day the service is gonna be. It’s usually within a day or two. I would then get emails or texts saying that the technician is on his way. The technician also usually also texts me and tells me that he’s coming. I've had Tom as my technician ever since we've had Terminix. He is always very polite and professional. He does an A1 job, explains what he did and what he found. It's been a really positive experience and he's probably the reason I’m still with Terminix. If we ever see a spider in any place, Tom goes in and takes care of that area. We very seldom see any, though. My recent service was about three weeks ago and it was just my house.

    When we bought this house over 40 years ago, there was evidence of termites and we decided to get preventive services from Terminix. We’ve had an agreement with them for quite some time now and I’ve always found them to be very responsive and excellent. Sometimes if they’re coming into the house, we’re not always available, so we have to change the dates and they have been very accommodating and arranged a mutually convenient date for someone to come. Terminix is very easy to work with. For the most recent one, the tech came around to do the exterior termite spraying. He made us aware that he was there and then he went around and did the service. We had some carpenter ant issues but they also took care of that very quickly.

    Ryan, the Terminix tech, comes once a month and sprays our apartment building and our residence. Then every other month, he comes and sprays the office. Most recently, he came and did it in a timely fashion. It is a little bit absurd though that every other month he has to come, instead of letting him do the office and the apartment building on the same day. They used to be able to do everything on the same day. They managed their own schedule but the office started scheduling what properties they do each day and they didn't allow that. The apartment building is next door to our office, so he has to do the apartment building and the residence and then another day, he has to come back and do the office. Terminix will not schedule it on the same day which is silly and this has been going on for about six years.

    Ryan is very pleasant and courteous though. If we have a problem, he comes to see it and takes care of the problem and he does everything in a very professional and friendly manner. Occasionally, we have little ghost ants that come in to find a piece of food and Ryan brings me little things that I could use to put a stop to that.     I have been using Terminix's service for five years now and when scheduling with them, it's easy. They call me or send me an email and tell me when they're coming. Their technicians, Shannon and Melvin, are both wonderful and very polite. Since their most recent visit, I don't have any pest activity anymore. A long time back, I called their customer service and their reps were very nice too. There was a glitch in the way that I was paying for it but we got that straightened out.     When I originally called Terminix to get service I signed up for a 1 year contract. They told me it would be billed quarterly and that was the end of that. So once December hit I did not call to renew or schedule them to come out or anything of the sort. They kept sending me bills and I called and got the run around and then they told me the branch would contact me and then nothing. Got another bill again called and same thing.

    Now it's March and they went and automatically withdraw the money from my bank account. Spoke to someone today and got the same run around. I have not authorized the man to come since October because I knew that was the last of the 3 month contract. What they would do is show up and spray I guess the outside of my apartment and count that as service. I was satisfied until right now. I feel like the 2 times I called to make sure I wasn't being billed should have been enough and for them to go 3 months later and bill me automatically makes no sense to me. If i had been scheduling services or things of that sort I would understand the billing but I did not schedule any services October.

    Location of Terminix office: Petaluma, CA. Complaints: unethical staff include: The sales rep **, THOMAS, branch manager Eric **, and Jules **, Region Director. Countless requests made to sales rep Thomas **, he responded that his manager was on board with a solution then no follow up and complete silence to resolve termite issue and charges. Sales rep become unresponsive. Issue lasted and still open since Aug. 15 2018. After several hours, days, calling and locating someone who would take some responsibility; I finally located a region director. Don't let the title fool you.

    Region Director failed to speak to his own team prior to calling customer; rejects customer requests for refund due to customer satisfaction issues. Refuses to escalate further up the chain in fear of looking unprofessional, untrained, losing bonuses. I am minority and I believe these people above are discriminatory, quite frankly take advantage of people (my parents) who they think will roll over due to their ability to speak good English. Racism is real and comes in different flavors. I can accept that. For those who can't; this warning is for you to stay away. I've since cancelled my other 3 pests control contracts with Terminix.

    I’m pleased with Terminix and the service I’ve gotten from them. Each individual who ever came was very courteous, nice and we got along well together. Their customer service has been A-1 too. I’m 90 years old and I don’t go and do much. I’ve been in this house for 62 years and I’ve been through a lot of experiences. I had one experience with termites and that was inside the south side of my garage. The house next door to my garage had a very bad termite experience as well and ate up, practically, one whole back part of their house. I assume that was where the termites came from at that time.

    I didn’t have any damage and all I had was the signs of the termites inside my garage. I caught that on time that Terminix could come and do for me what I needed. They had to do a lot of tearing out and putting new lumber in the garage. That happened a few years ago.     Terminix comes out quarterly four times a year and I call them whenever I need them. When they come out, they don’t mind, which is good. They would also give extra stuff. I had two technicians who had come. The first one was Barbara, but she left the company and then, they had Tim for me. He always ask what he will do for me and tries his best. And he does a good job.

    There are pests like cockroaches in and out of our home and in the summertime, I have more of these bugs. The service from Terminix is working and if I see more bugs, Tim comes to put some more baits. I’ve been with Terminix for a long time and I don’t have a problem with the quality of their work, but the cost is high. I started with Terminix with $50 each year. And they raise it, which makes me upset. Last year, they tried to charge me $100 and something for a quarter. I then started to shop around and somebody offered $80 each quarter. When I told Terminix that I was going to quit them, their rep offered $80 so I stayed for another year.

    Terminix comes out and sprays the outside for roaches. For termites, they put down these little blue or green things in the ground. They also spray the inside of the house whenever I need it. For the outside, they come every two months. For the inside, Terminix doesn’t have to come too often because the bugs don’t come when they spray. For the termites, they come out twice a year. Terminix calls to tell me when they’re coming and they’re flexible with the scheduling. Usually, there’s always someone here but if not, they put the treatment on for another day. Also, their techs are nice. They tell me what they’re coming for. Since having the service, once in a while, I have a big waterbug but other than that, the situation in my house has been fantastic.

    Terminix exterminates the outside of the house for roaches. The tech normally texts with me or emails me two days prior to see if it's a good day or whatever day and time, and then I respond back whether it's good to us or not. And then, he comes on whatever day and asks if he needs to come inside or it's just strictly outside. His name is Robert and he's a very nice gentleman. I didn’t like to see the big roaches and I haven't seen any since the service so it's working. Terminix is doing a good job and I would recommend them.

    I have a regular routine three months service with Terminix. Their technician tells me when he's gonna come. A couple of times, I’ve had them wanna do the service on a Saturday, and I have to reschedule because Saturday is not a day I can have it done. Usually, though, we get a notice on the internet saying that they will be coming on such day. The technician we have been working with has been amazing. His name is Eddie and he's always congenial. He addresses any of my concerns and I'm happy with him. While I'm satisfied with Terminix' service, three months is a little long. They should do it more often. They are a little lax during the hot season that I sometimes have to have help in between if I have a lot of rodents or bugs.

    Terminix experience (West Palm Beach, Fl)... Will never use Terminix again... Had German roaches for over two years and for most of that time, had roaches EVERY evening in the kitchen...finally got fed up and told them that I would no longer pay for their service as long as the roach problem persisted... Still can't believe I gave them over 2 years to resolve the issue!

    I told the service rep, the local mgr, two local service managers, the national contact that called almost daily when the bill was supposedly "past due" that I was NOT paying for a service that was not working... They continued providing service under those conditions and when the problem was close to being resolved (after approx. 27 months!) I told them I would be willing to resume payments... but I was NOT paying for the time period reflected in the "balance due"... They refused to waive that amount even though they had been told I was not paying. They sent the $268.80 bill to collections. I've never had a bill sent to collections in the 66 years of my life!

    We obviously no longer use Terminix and suggest you don't either. What kind of pest control company takes over 2 years to resolve a roach problem? ZERO integrity...didn't even mention the two appointments that managers set up and never showed or the dust treatment that covered all our silverware and utensils in our drawers whenever they treated... Have new service company. No more roach problem. Took 2 treatments.

    In the 32 years that I've been with Terminix, I've had no problems at all with the technicians. They're very thorough, and their attention to detail and friendliness are terrific. Every one of them, including the current one, Patrick, is fine. He came out for an in-home spraying for insects recently. He also takes care of some mouse poison in my garage and crawl space.

    Something happened at the headquarters, however, so the scheduling was taken out of the hands of the technicians. Now scheduling is done automatically from headquarters, so the technicians cannot tailor the timing of the visits in such a way that they know the schedules of the people that they're spraying for. I live alone and if I'm gone during the day, for instance, they won't be able to get into the house. So I either have to change the appointment or my daily schedule, so I'm home to let them in when they come. Then my particular technician makes the phone call the night before he's coming, and I get a notification in email from the company. I put that on my calendar and then my technician calls the night before to just double-check.

    Still, another problem is that I get an email that says I will have a call on such and such date, between the hours of such and such. It says, "You do not need to be home for this service. Just please secure any animals." But that is not true, and I have complained about this almost every time I get a service. I need somebody to be here to let the technician into the house because it's not external spraying only. He sprays around the perimeter of the house, but he also comes inside. I've shown this to Patrick every time, and we chuckle about it. The email communications of the company really need some close attention. It is annoying when year after year, you get communication that is not clear about what's gonna happen.

    I don't have any complaints about the pest activity in the house, although I have had ants in my kitchen at a certain time of year. Patrick comes and puts out some little traps and that ceases. It's excellent. Last week, I had two mice in my garage, and the automatic door has some little cracks at the edge where they can get in. That's separate from my house, and Patrick put out some chemicals, and I found the dead mouse on the floor a couple of days after he was here. Overall, I would recommend Terminix. The service, the coverage, and the technician who comes to my house are wonderful.

    Tommy does the service for quarterly maintenance and he’s good. That service was perfect and that was my whole reason for choosing Terminix to handle the bedbugs. My grandbabies experienced some bedbugs in May. We called Terminix and when the service technician came, he promised us a follow-up in three different increments – in two weeks, in a month and a little bit thereafter – to see if the bed bugs were gone. In a bed bug situation, they have to take the beds apart and take the clothes out of there. But they didn’t come back for the follow-up. From May to August, they never responded to my phone calls. I think my first phone call was in July. So I was asking them to give me a credit for the month.

    Late in August, Tom did show up. He laid down a little piece of sticky sheet on the bed. Then he went into the other bedrooms. He said that it looked like the mattress had a hole in it and that he was going to replace it. But since then, I haven’t heard from him either. My grandbabies haven't complained since August. In fact, I don’t think they really complained since the original time. So I think the chemicals worked. But the service that Terminix had promised, which got me to that contract, was poor. The customer service and the follow-up were poor.

    I'm even thinking about going to the Better Business Bureau because Terminix has sent me to the collections even though they told me they were gonna try to prorate my contract. Lately, all I get is somebody from collections who is gonna collect the debt. This is also how Terminix did it before when they got my services. They promised things verbally but didn’t follow up on it. For bedbugs, I won’t recommend them to anyone. Nobody wants to go into a 1,300-dollar contract and not get the proper service. It’s too expensive when Terminix is not doing what they’re supposed to be doing. It’s more than just chemical spraying too. It’s what they say they’re gonna do. I wouldn’t get the bed bug service even if my life depended on it.

    We have been having quarterly service with Terminix. They took over a company that we've been using for 10 years. The technician who did our office's property before said he would come but never showed up, and quit. Now, we have a regular technician and he has been very good.     I had Terminix treat Asian beetles and the contractors they sent were courteous and professional. However, they couldn't get the job completed. The issue was happening on the second floor and they couldn't climb a ladder. They came out three times within the three-month period to try to address the problem, but they just couldn't. I then had to repeat to many different departments things regarding cancelling and the cancellation process took a while. But if your issue isn't about Asian beetles and just regular pest, I'm sure Terminix would be fine. I would recommend them.

When I made a call in to have a mouse removed (which I was under the impression would be covered since I still have one of their services) I was not told (until after the service was done) my previously canceled service will be reinstated. Their technicians are courteous and they would always call before they come and when they are on their way and out. When the technician came out in the past, he was very good. Since they started spraying, everything is starting to come out. But they've told me that whenever they spray, that's usually when you start seeing everything come out, whether dying off or whatnot. But there is not a lot of pest activity. They're like little tiny baby spiders and little grubs. Also, Terminix does offer me that if I see anything within a certain amount of time to always feel free to call them back. Otherwise, the service is regularly scheduled quarterly and they usually just call me two days in advance to let me know when they're gonna be coming out. I like that I don't have to worry about it. They always are the ones to call me and schedule appointments.

    The price at Terminix was better compared to other companies and we've used them pretty much since I moved to Nevada in 2006. They schedule the service and they tell me. Then I tell them if I like the schedule or not and change it if I don't. We really don't have much of a problem with pests and if we do, we call them and they come back out another time. That is why we like Terminix. They would keep coming out to get rid of the problem.

    In May 2017, short of two years ago, I unintelligently bought into an attic insulation replacement, rat program and complete termite protection. Over $10,000. paid for the “rat plan." The reason I am writing is that the damage done by the Terminix “rat and insulation" job has caused about $2,000. in roof repair. Water leaking this year, including the estimated interior ceiling damage. A styro-dam, created by Terminix to block a “rat access” to the attic now backs up rainwater under the roof tiles.

    The Terminix foam styro product dam has allowed debris to build behind the dam over the last nearly two years. to where it now leaks with interior ceiling damage. No comments on termites in that the reason we bought the termite plan is because the neighbor had termites. We wanted protection and paid $1,500. for this, in addition to the $10,000. “rat plan." We have terminated all contracts with Terminix. Legal action, while this would be successful, is not worth the time, effort or cost.

    I've had the service with Terminix for a year now and my experience has been fine. Initially, they started doing it at my aunt's home because she had some problems with bedbugs. I was very pleased with the manner and how the tech handled it. The gentleman was very professional and very thorough. I kept it in mind and started using it. I would do a quarterly pest control service for my home and I switched over to Terminix because of that. Scheduling service through Terminix is very easy. I just call and say when I need it.     Terminix is supposed to come out once every few months. But if we call them for anything, they would also come out. That’s part of the contract. When they come in, they just do their thing. Sometimes we don’t see them. Most of the time, they don’t come and tell management. But whenever we do catch them, I can tell them they should go check a certain trap or spray a certain space, and they would take care of it. I haven't noticed any little creatures or bugs either. So they're doing pretty good.

They did the first initial spray and from that point on, I have not seen any bedbugs at all. I had set up for them to come back out in two weeks and they did a second spray.     I’m on a plan where I pay $80 every three months and anytime I call Terminix, they would come out. I was having an issue with cockroaches but I've seen a lot of difference.     Each year, I have an annual check to make sure everything is good. So I think Terminix is really good. But that’s changing. They increase the annual fee each year and I don't feel very comfortable. I’m beginning to become a little angered that right now, it’s more than $200. All of the technicians are very nice though.     We have mice at home and I’m not fast enough to catch them. I wouldn’t wanna catch them anyway as they'd probably bite me then I'd have a disease that'd kill me. And we’ve got two basset hounds but dogs don’t chase mice. So because of that, we hired Terminix back in October to have someone who would deal with the problem.

    Initially, they asked if we had termites and as far as I knew, we didn't. But when their guy came out and took a look around, he said we did. I was kind of leery if we really did but he showed me a path. We've got a brick house and the termites were trying to work their way to the brick into the garage. But the tech said that they hadn't made it inside. So, I signed up for their plan and got the thing for termites. They sprayed the whole outside of the house and that has worked well.

    But when it came to the mice problem, the tech said that there were some little droppings in the closet. He said that the mice like to go to places that are not frequented a lot by us and that made sense to me. So, he put down a trap in the laundry room, one in the bedroom and the closet, about three out here in the kitchen, and one in the garage. But we check them and every morning, there’d be no mouse in there and my wife said that she still saw a mouse. So, I brought the guy back out and he brought a different type of trap. It was a little bit bigger and a little sticky. He said that it'd work but it didn't. So, now I’m getting frustrated.

    I called the third time and the owner came out. He did the same thing the other guy did and said that he didn't see any trails. He also said that he thought the mice were gone. But that was about three weeks ago and my wife told me that she just saw a black one go into the stove. Terminix had a trap right out to the side of the stove, under the sink, and the mice never got into the trap. And the other day, she told me she saw a little baby mouse over by the fireplace.

    Long story short is, we still got the mice problem and I feel like I’ve paid for a service but they haven't fixed the problem. And I don't think I’m asking too much. But I’m gonna give Terminix one more try and if their tech doesn't fix it, I’m gonna try to find somebody else and I’m gonna bill Terminix. I need to get rid of these mice because they’re just as bad as roaches. They carry disease and stuff. All in all, my experience with Terminix has been horrible and I have no inclination of renewing my contract when it expires, unless they can do something about our mice problem.

    The experience with using the service of Terminix has been good so far and we're very happy with them. We have a regular schedule of four times a year and then, I would call them numerous times. The turnaround time is a week but they would always come and take care of the problem. Usually, their reps are nice. The technician who usually comes is great but the last time, Terminix sent somebody different, who I did not meet and only saw his picture in the email. There’s barely any pest activity especially during winter since the recent service. When we're in the month where there are very few insects, Terminix is a price to pay.     This is the first time Terminix came out. I had suspected termites and they confirmed it. The scheduling was no problem. However, it was extremely expensive for what they did. And I’m getting ready to call them in the next week or so because I’m very unhappy. I paid almost $1,100, and they said they come out once a year. That’s not right. The technician was very good though. He seemed to be very capable and he did a good job. He put the liquid in the ground, and then, he also set up little pods around my house. It’s just that I expect more service than that. They need to come out. We’ve had a lot of raids. And these pods, I don't know if they’re doing their job or not. I went with Terminix because of their name. Ever since I can remember, I’ve heard of Terminix and I thought this is a good company. But this is not the way to do business.

We scheduled the following evening and unfortunately got a call from the inspector (aka salesman) stating he needed to inspect our property in the daylight so we had to postpone until the following day. The next day he tells us we had either mice or squirrels or both as he saw droppings from both. He then went over our options for new insulation that he says is horrible which we said was too expensive. Then he quoted us a price for pest control (assuming this meant rodents AND bugs) for a 2 year span. I asked if the payment could come from me but could we use my husbands credit? He says yes and then after running his credit and paying with my credit card, he changes his mind and says oh no it needs to be in his name...so now we need to use my credit. (So two hits to our credit instead of one).

    Then the downpayment changes and he states we now need to put down 40% which we do. The guys can’t come out until the end of the week to trap for squirrel and mice...fast forward and the next guy comes out and says there is no order for squirrels?!? So I feel we were totally taken advantage of. To top that off we get billed more than we were told... I call to complain and have yet to only hear from same sales rep and not the branch manager like they said. So I guess I have to contact again because I have no desire to chat with the first guy... Don’t go with Terminix...they been disappointing from start to finish.

    We love Steven, the Terminix technician that comes out. He always informs us what he’s gonna do and he sprays very well. This time, we didn’t have to have him to come inside but on the outside, he let us know that he was there and what he was doing, and then asked if we needed anything else.     I have been with Terminix for three years and my experience with them has been awesome. The technician comes every three months and if I have to reschedule my service, I call the technician. I have his number on my phone. If I call him and he could not come, he would call the other guy. They're both incredible and they've done the job well. They know their stuff and they're willing to work with you. There was a place where I had particularly bad termites which were just munching on the bait station big time, so the technician just put a couple more in instead of me worrying about it and not lasting the time frame between when they came and when they didn't.

    I have two neighbors who went with an independent local person, which I usually prefer, but they got a one time service each time that cost 80% of what the Terminix techs did. It also didn't come with a warranty service package. Given my experience with Terminix, I've turned them on to three of my neighbors who have all bought their product.

    When I first moved in 2004, we found termites. I used Oregon then. They came out and I had the contract with them at that time. They got rid of the termites but I saw where Terminix said that if I had a contract with them and if they ever found termites after inspecting it the first time, they would pay for the damage to the house. I thought that was great so I changed from Oregon to Terminix a long time ago. I have the pest control and a contract for termites with Terminix.

    The last time Terminix was out was for the pest control. They sprayed and they come about every three months. But when I had an appointment for the 27th, they were supposed to be there between 8:00 and 10:00. They sent an email about it. So, I got up really early and at 12 o’clock, they still hadn’t shown up. I called and I went through the automated thing. I said for scheduling and I was told that their schedule to come was in the 28th. Nobody contacted me and told me that.

    This was the second time that has happened. It happened a long time ago, the same tech. So, I called and talked to a representative. She was so nice and kind. She said that they had a little trouble with their equipment for scheduling. She went through the whole thing and they were gonna send me a new time. However, I had a doctor’s appointment with the time they were gonna give me. She told me they could come March 13th for a termite inspection that I have once a year. I couldn’t take the date that she offered me and she looked but she didn’t have anything very soon. So, she said she would get with one out of Palestine. She was gonna get with them and have them send me one. So, I'm sure I'll get it very soon. I told her that the next time they schedule me, I'm going to call the day before and see if I'm still on schedule. Despite that, all the employees have been nice.

    The technicians who came were all so nice too. I love them. The last one who came was fairly new. He was so nice and I gave him a 5-star. Also, the one before was a female and she was terrific. I'm satisfied with my experience with Terminix. It is a good warranty and I haven't had any more termites. Now, they leave little sticky things for me and most of the ones I see are in the garage. They said they would come out any time I call them, but the sticky thing takes care of it.

    I have a long story about our Flea problem which I must condense here. The infestation began away from our home in July 2018 with someone who walked dogs in Queens NYC. That person became overwhelmed with fleas in their apt and moved out due to the infestation in late August - to our house. The fleas bit our dog, but he was never infected due to use of Frontline Plus - whenever the Frontline started wearing out he started scratching (which was about every 3 weeks) and then we would retreat him.

    Our old cat died in late Sept 2018 possibly as a result of the flea anemia. We did not know because she spent her life hiding from everyone unless you happened to be alone. About 2 weeks before that cat I began to get bitten. I would sleep in a different room to avoid them, but eventually they found me in every part of the house. I read that fleas can't live off people as so I thought they would go away. Not these fleas! The fleas did not bite my wife at all, but they voraciously went after myself and the other person. The other person still has them in their hair as this writing, but isn't living at our house anymore. I no longer have them in my hair, but have not quite succeeded in removing all from the various places that became infested (work home, vacation home, cars, and workplace).

    They produced many eggs everywhere of course and we began vacuuming and spraying all the time with ordinary big box store insect products. I bought freezers to keep my clothes in and started boiling anything that handle it in 40 gal pot (to kill fleas, eggs, and larva). I was using IGRs (insect growth regulators) and other insecticide products I learned about. When these did not work I started hiring Exterminators. I hired a highly rated one from my county. They treated our house 4 times without success. They used a combination of knock down chemicals and IGRs. Then despite their annual contract that called for them to respond when asked - they stopped coming.

    A few months later I hired Terminix. They charged about 1/2 the price of the other company for 1 visit in which they used a single IGR and expected it to work. They asked me beforehand to vacuum the whole house just before they came which I did. When they finished they said I should spread the chemicals around the floors (we had ripped up all our carpets months ago) with a damp mop. This was kind of a big job but I did it even though I wasn't always sure where they sprayed. I don't understand why Terminix couldn't simply used a sprayer with appropriate dilution as I later did. The technician claimed the fleas as social creatures would rub each other with the IGR (Gentrol) and this would kill them all. As far as I can tell this is an untrue statement - no place I've seen considers Gentrol appropriate for adulticide of fleas. There was no follow up and the fleas survived w/o much effort.

    After one week of no result I was fed up and vowed to become my own exterminator. I bought a quality sprayer and several IGRs of different classes together with knock downs of different classes. I sprayed these in my car and all over the house following the two week period Terminix claimed was needed for the Gentrol to work (it hadn't worked). Within two days there were few fleas left in the house, but it will be many weeks before I eliminate all the pockets of fleas. Given their ability to live off of humans exclusively I suspect they are human fleas (Pulex irritans). I would have brought them to the Cornell extension for identification, but they never seemed to be available. The exterminators including the technicians from Terminix I have spoken to seem to have no knowledge of entomology.

    While Terminix has money back guarantees for easy insects like spiders they don't offer such a thing for fleas. The shame is that they could have taken care of the problem had they wanted to and had they not created a situation where it is in their interest to minimize treatment whether or not the problem is solved. I will never use again for sure.

    Next weekend I am off the save the person from fleas who started the problem in our house with my newfound knowledge and supplies. I am very glad to help because this is not a problem that I found a competent company to help me solve. Granted it is an unusual situation most people are unlikely to run into. If you can count on a company like Terminix to help you in a bad situation - why bother with them?

    Scheduling with Terminix is alright, though we did have our moments. One thing I didn’t like was that they would just send anybody, and I’m one of those ones where if they’re gonna send somebody out, I would prefer the same person because they know what’s going on. A lot of the technicians seemed like they didn’t care. I spoke to customer service and they said that there was nothing they could do about sending technicians the way that they were. They would relay it on to who you needed to go to, but it seemed like it was just the same thing every time.

    I called Terminix in Fayetteville, Arkansas and spoke to somebody directly who made it aware that it was not true that they can’t send the same technician if I requested it. He also said to call him back if I had any problems. We had a guy named Richard who came out and he was hands down the best one we had. He took the initiative and seemed like he cared. He stayed anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, compared to any of the other technicians we had that would only put the baits out and give us the traps. Now I’m barely seeing pests.

    Terminix is sending the notification when they're coming to my cousin's email, so mostly, I don't know anything until my cousin lets me know. But Tommy, the primary person from Terminix that comes to my home, always calls me to say he's gonna come and always accommodates the time to my best convenience. Tommy comes every three months. But twice I asked him to reschedule because of the snow, and I didn't want him to come. He cares, pays attention to what I need and want and does the service really well. Everything is perfect.

    We tried to cancel our service after a few months when we felt it was not useful. Terminix said we had a mouse problem outside our garage door and set out traps. It was actually a bat problem and we solved it with a bright light there at night since the bats were just eating there and not actually living there. The email portal and voice messages did not return communication from Terminix like it said it would. Messages were sent to both regional managers who did not contact us. Multiple messages were responded to with the occasional form letter.

    Horrible, horrible customer service. We had to pay our last quarter bill because it occurred before our contract was cancelled but AFTER our MANY attempts to contact Terminix to cancel. I argued that if Terminix actually returned communication like their automatic replies said they would then our contract would have been cancelled before the last billing. This fell on deaf ears with the threat of collections so we paid it and I fully disclosed this would generate a poor rating.

    Terminix has a contractor that comes out quarterly. They spray outside and inside we have some traps. They check them and make sure that they’re full, and they throw them if necessary. They notify us by email when it's time for the service and their techs do the job when they're out here. If there’s any problem, they tell us.     We were having some waterbugs and we had one time where we got some bed bugs through a transport. Terminix came in to spray for those. They normally come every 30 days and spray for bugs. Since then, we’ve not had any more issues.     I've been with Terminix since October and I love them. I had mice in my house and they came and did everything for me. Every time I called them up, their reps would come out the next day and replace the traps for me. Now, there are no more mice at all. They were very friendly.     Initially, we had bedbugs and Terminix sprayed our house for that. We've not had any trouble with that since then. They come out once a quarter and although there were a couple of roaches, I've not seen any since the service. Greg is the guy that I've been talking to.     I have a contract with Terminix and they come on a quarterly basis, but if they need to come in between, I call them and we schedule an appointment. It's mainly for ants and spiders, and they’ve been spraying for that. However, they cannot really terminate or eradicate the pest activity in my home. The ants have been taken care of, but we still see silverfish all the time. As with the spiders, unless they have direct contact with the insecticide, you cannot really kill them. Also, I had the inspection for termites and I found the prices to be very high. Maybe Terminix could be more affordable on that part so I could do more service with them. Nevertheless, the gentleman who's been handling my account is professional and prompt. I'm very happy with him.

    Terminix was referred by my sister-in-law. I contacted them for mice and I've been working with them for this problem since October. I had their reps put notes in my account because I'm not there a lot and the doors are locked and they just do the stuff they need to when I set my account up. However, they were supposed to come after the first time they came and fix the door that still didn’t get done, but then they never came back. I called and reminded somebody about it, and then when they were coming to do it, I wasn't at home and I don’t think they did it. Nevertheless, the mice were eliminated and it's all good. Their techs come in, greet me and then I say what I want to be done that day. They even do the alley behind me.     When I have my termite inspection with Terminix I don’t ever get a notice. They just show up, but my pest control that comes once a quarter is amazing. Keith, the bug guy, is wonderful. He normally calls me before he heads this way. I also get an email saying that I've been scheduled and to call if it's not a good time. He always tells me what I need to do in order to make sure that bugs don’t get into my house and what he put down. I don’t have to read what he's done because he explains it to me before he leaves. He's always happy, on time and professional.

    The Terminix representatives on the phone have always been very nice. Terminix is doing a great job. They don't have to come into the house at all anymore.     I hired Terminix in January of 2018 to get rid of rats in a detached garage. Almost $20,000 later, the garage was never treated. I then negotiated with Terminix for nearly 10 months, and had to hire a lawyer to get the bill lowered to a reasonable (but still not fair) amount of $5,000. I made my final payment on time a few weeks ago, only to find out that the company had turned my account over to collections as delinquent back in December. So now to add insult to injury, my credit has been affected. From the salesperson I dealt with initially (a total conman) to the revolving door of regional managers to their corporate lawyers, I don't believe anyone affiliated with this company has the customer's best interest at heart. Terrible, terrible -- seemingly never-ending -- experience. I will never do business with Terminix again. If I could have given no stars, I would have.

    I have been a Terminix customer for 20 years or more with pest service and two termite services. One of their salesmen came by to sell me the bait traps for termites (we had them years ago, Terminix removed them saying they didn't service them anymore after we paid much money for them, and then covered us with a liquid protectant). I bought the traps with the understanding they would cost $399 for the next year and that the $269 I already had paid for the next year's

    liquid service would be credited back to me. Now they say it won't. That it was part of the payment for the traps. I feel ripped off and unhappy.

    The tech they sent out to us was all about himself. We made an appointment, the time slot ahead of mine was open but I had to work so that one wouldn't work. He came the appt time slot before my actual appt. Then left and rescheduled because he didn't want to wait. The second time he came out he send a text saying he would be there on this time and date. (He scheduled his own appt.) I did not confirm or agree to this date and time but he showed up anyway. We were charged for that visit.     Scheduling with Terminix on this particular house I've been in for 2 years has been difficult. I get a notification on email and then it tells me a number that I could call to confirm or to adjust it. I try calling the number. It's an automated number. No one ever returns my call for that number. And then, they don't show up on that scheduled time. So when I see those notifications I pretty much ignore them. A technician will then call me like a day or two ahead of when they have on their schedule, and it doesn't necessarily coincide with the email notification. So, it's almost like they are invisible for me to talk to, until that technician finally calls.

    But the last three times I've had the same technicians and they're customer-friendly. They talk us through what they're doing. The last few times, I've made sure either my wife or I were home while they did it so we could ask questions and direct them. For example, they were only treating the outside of the house and I wanted them to get in the crawl space. When we meet them there and deal with them, the technicians are great. But the whole sour part with the lack of communication from their office makes me hesitant to refer them. The actual service is very good, but the communication and how they deal with their customers are all automated. I could never refer them out of this office, in the area that I now live, just because of that.

    Terminix does a satisfactory job. I've been with them for about 25 years and I haven't had any problems. They let me know when they're coming, show up where when they're supposed to and do their job then get out. They come out four times a year and the schedule is predetermined with my agreement. A couple of weeks in advance, they send me an email saying when they're planning to come and ask if it's agreeable. If it's not agreeable, I let them know and then they reschedule. They did this for the house I live in and a piece of rental property I have.

    If I'm home when they come, they would let me know they're here. If I'm not at home, they would leave a note on the door telling me they were here and what they did. In my house, everything is great. But my rental house still has rats in the garage. That has pretty much been an issue since I bought the place several years ago. They have tried to handle it but rats are pretty damn smart and Terminix hasn't been successful in getting rid of the rats. Overall though, I've been very satisfied.

    We’ve been with Terminix for over 35 years and we’re very pleased with them. Every single technician that they send knows his job and is very polite. If I need them to come back because of another problem we have, we have no problems. We pay yearly and then they come about every four months. They check outside. Most recently, they did a standard visit. I was concerned about one millipede that has gotten upstairs and the tech treated the inside for that and that was it.     I've been having a very good experience with Terminix. They tell me two to three weeks in advance when they're coming out. The techs who have come out so far have been very polite. They explain what they're doing. Usually, they treat the outside of my home and if they need to, they come inside as well. Rohan, my service guy has been super. He has been very respectful of my house. When he comes in, he puts stuff on his feet so he won't track dirt in. He has been very cooperative. I used to have ants around and little boxelder bugs and though I still have a few of those, they are not as many as I had before. I'm very happy with Terminix.

    Scheduling for any of Terminix's services works great. I do quarterly extermination for maintenance and everything works as they should. Their technicians are also good. I did, however, had a problem. I had Terminix out here, but they switched office, so I dropped their service. And then, I went to Orkin because I have birds, and Terminix didn't handle wildlife. But I had to constantly keep calling Orkin to come back once they had sprayed. I never experienced that with Terminix. So I came back to Terminix and ever since then, I haven't had an issue.

    I have been satisfied with Terminix all these years up until about a few months ago when they talked me into trying the termite service. To get started on the termite service, they charged me $900. Then, come December of last year, they sent me a reminder notice of renewal. Nobody mentioned a renewal fee of $329 when they were getting me to sign up. As of January of this year, I canceled the termite service, but from that point on, the termite renewal fee has been on my account. I have the general pest control and they came out and did the general pest control. I got charged $74 for that. I pay the account online, so I went online to try and pay the $74, but when I entered my information, the system took the $74 plus the $329, and it was one fault I found of the whole thing.

    I love the general pest control but I don’t appreciate the system. I had to call this one, call that one, and call the other. Finally, I got a person to tell me that they will refund my $329, but as of yet, I haven’t gotten it. Other than the termite deal, I’m satisfied with Terminix. I have the same technician each time. They changed it one time but they put my regular technician back on.

    I had some damage and I called Terminix. They came out, put traps, and everything has been good so far. They told me they would come back to check the traps and things outside to make sure everything’s all right but I haven’t seen anybody or heard anything from them. Other than that, I have a regular service set up with them and whenever their techs are out, my interactions with them have been good and they understood what I needed. They checked everything and done what they were supposed to have done. Also, I asked a lot of questions and they answered them.

    Terminix has been coming quarterly to spray the house and all the technicians that have come out have been great. Eddie is the one that I deal with now and he's so easy to get along with.     Terminix comes out and does the maintenance in the basement and we also had them throughout the summer for the mosquitoes. We would get an email for the scheduling or they would leave us a message on the home phone. However, they're too expensive and we quit them once because of that. We’re retired and we’re on a fixed income and it’s just gonna be too much. We spoke about it because we got the notice that the prices are gonna be going up, so I don't know if we’re even gonna keep it. Also, we were so used to having Kevin and I know he moved. We’ve recommended them to a couple of different people, though, and they’ve had Terminix.

    I’ve had Terminix for about 10 years and the service is regularly scheduled every other month. They were very responsive when I had a problem. When I talked to some 800 number though, it was more cumbersome than it used to be. I prefer to talk directly to the technician to tell him my problem and he usually gets back to me. We have had a little bit of an ant problem and Terminix tried to work on that but it has not been completely solved. The ants are very difficult to get rid of but it’s an improvement. My neighbor had a termite problem, so I decided I would try to keep from having one and I’ve never had one. Terminix would come out annually to inspect for termites and we put in the termite traps about four years ago. This past year, Terminix sent someone out but he didn’t have the right tools to completely go through all the traps. Other than that, if I got a problem, the Terminix technicians try to take care of it.

    Terminix seems easy enough to deal and work with. They had good reviews and they seemed to be the most reasonable as far as price. I had stopped using them but then I realized that we had a lot of spiders and that there wasn't a bug killer with a grade strong enough so we went back to Terminix. They’re easy to use and to get to come out. I actually had to call them because even though they had sprayed inside the first time, we had a lot of spiders. The house had not been lived in for a little so we had quite a few spiders that were popping up out of literally everywhere. Terminix came back out with no problem and no question, and they took care of it.

    The same guy has been coming out for several of the visits and he’s a nice guy. He is very respectful and he always makes sure to put on booties before he comes in the house then he takes them off before he goes back out. He does everything that he can to help. The Terminix people do what they are supposed to do. They come and clean the awnings. They even tried to go a bit above and beyond. They sprayed in a rock garden we have nearby which was a black widow haven. Terminix also always give me extra traps and they do work. I haven't needed them recently though. I've seen tons of dead spiders and they're just dead.

    We hesitated going with Terminix for the longest time. The biggest thing was before we looked into it, they didn’t do daycares. But now, they have different products that they are able to use at a daycare, so that's why we signed on with them. The communication with them is awesome. We get an email whenever they're planning on coming out. They give us as a reminder that they're coming and then they say they're on their way. Afterwards they would say it was completed and then they would send a survey also on the email. The person that comes out to do the service used to be an old parent of mine that used to come to our daycare, so we know him really well. He's very courteous and friendly, and he always explains what he's doing.

    We have two buildings here, and they came recently and did the outside and the inside. Then they went to my house. I wasn’t at the house, and they did just the outside, but they were fine. The daycare is open from 6:30 to 6:00, but they had to reschedule this last time because of the snow. He just sent an email and said he switched days, and it was fine. We had a lot of problems with spiders all around our facility and they're nil now. But it's cold now and the mice are gonna come in. Still, the number of pests has diminished. Although not fully, it's less than what we had. The situation now is much better with Terminix. They've been great. They just come in, do their thing and head out. We don't even know when the tech is here. Most definitely, I would recommend Terminix.

    I've been living in this house for 15 years now, and when we first moved in, we had a Terminix contract. Over time, however, we discontinued the service. Then we had this crazy ant activity two and a half years ago and it wasn’t just us. Our neighbors were having the same thing as well. I reached out to Terminix again and once they came in, the result was almost immediate. After that, it was subsequent spray and I continued it because it definitely helps alleviate that issue. The ants haven’t come back, so overall, I've been very happy.

    I've also had additional mosquito service over the summer months, but you have to manage expectations on that right. They guarantee 100% that they'll eliminate mosquitoes but there's no way that they can guarantee that. They might spray mine, but my neighbors don't spray and their mosquitoes will come into my neighbor. But it has brought down the mosquito population. It's 60% better.

    Recently, they came to do the regular service which is part of the quarterly spray. The guy that showed up came on a day when it was kind of snowy. I asked him what really moved him to come that day. I didn't think it would be effective. Two weeks later, however, we had bed bugs and the cold weather helped to pull the insects closer to the warmth of the home. So when they sprayed, it actually had a very good outcome, which it was counter-intuitive to me, but once he explained it, it made sense. He was knowledgeable and quite helpful.

    I've been doing Terminix for a couple of years now, and a total of four people have come. It is routinely the same people but they're not exactly the same person every time, like one after the other. I've had a couple of people that have called me on follow up. They wanted to do a bit more aggressively than usual and come and inspect the attic. Even though I've indicated a number of times that I'm not interested, still I've got phones back to back. Nevertheless, the communication with the reps has been good. I like the way that they give notification the day before and then the day that the person is coming in. The send me a text and they notify me. It gives me an opportunity to be able to be home or to reschedule if I wanted them to do some internal work and I'm not available.

    Dion, my tech from Terminix sends me a text whenever he's in the area and he can come to my place. However, it's not his fault that the service sucks. I've got roaches that we've been trying to kill for nine months now and they're all over the place. They just keep coming back. If I was paying per appointment versus the $100 I'm paying a month, I would have gone to another company. Dion has reached out to Terminix and told me that we could smoke the roaches out. However, I have two dogs and two kids under two so it's not an option. It's not people-friendly and that's enough for me to say no to it. Still, Dion has been great and he knows what the issues are before I tell him.

    We used to use Terminix years ago but when the person that we like moved to a different company, we switched contracts. But then she moved back to Terminix so we went back to Terminix as well. She knows our program, understands the environment and provides fabulous service. We work with the homeless population so Terminix is at our site a lot for preventative treatment as well as for treating hot rooms. The scheduling is pretty automated unless we find bugs. Then we call them. But otherwise, they're taking care of it and often, they're the ones who identify the bugs when they come out. They do their inspections and treatments.

    Terminix is great. After I looked at the reviews and saw the ratings, I decided to call Terminix because I had termite issues. That was why I called them initially but then I had spider issues. So then I called and had them spray the whole house for spiders, roaches and rodents. So far, I haven’t had any problems at all. But the scheduling is a little rough. I have to be checking my email because they just come whenever they want. They can’t do that though. I work in New York but live in Pennsylvania then my husband works in Jersey. So they have to come on my schedule. I have to call a couple of times but it’s okay talking to their representatives.

    Not all technicians are good either. I've had three come out and the first one didn’t do anything. He said that he didn’t see any evidence and he was not putting anything down. He charged the money and just left. It was my husband who was there at that time. When the next technician was coming, I made sure I was there. That was the technician that I like. He went through the whole house and was very thorough. So it was very good. Then he came out the second time and did everything again. Never again did I see any spiders and roaches. But now, the new guys comes and all he does is make sure that all the traps, especially the stuff that he puts down, are good. That’s it. I reached out to Terminix to get the technician I like to come out. But they said the he doesn’t do field work. Still, I haven’t seen any sign of vermin.
