TERMINIX was THE WORST COMPANY I have ever had. They kept on coming over when I was not home because they never sprayed the inside which I paid for. I reported them to Consumer Affairs. The good news is that a representative came over to my house and asked if I needed their services. I told them Absolutely YES, but with a different company! They had lost hundreds of dollars when I called another company in front of him to sign up.

Where do I begin. I recently bought my home and found out there were mice. I contacted Terminix. They sent a rep out who promised me all of these great things including getting rid of my rodent problem guaranteed. Well I wanted the mice gone so I agreed to financing almost 2,000 for unlimited service for 2 years. Initial visit the young lady came out and barely did anything. She sprayed and set some traps. 4 weeks later we were still seeing evidence of the mice. Called them up for another appointment. They sent someone out who only sprayed two rooms which was not what I wanted. I wanted an exterior inspection. Called them again to tell them what I wanted. They made another appointment only for the day to come and the inspector tell me they double booked and he would be coming out but that he would come out the following day. I said, "Ok fine."
Next day came. No call, no show. Called Terminix again to complain about this. The rep over the phone apologized repeatedly and set up another appointment. Date and time came. Once again no call, no show. I called Terminix again telling them I wanted to cancel services immediately and wanted the finance charges removed. The rep explained it has to go to management and I would have to wait and hear from them. Save your time, money and frustration and go with another company because Terminix are frauds. They take your money and can’t deliver on their guarantee!!!!

The experience is ok. The company offers a service on a regular basis. The tech they send are very professional. A little messy but they assign one tech to your error. Which they could be a little cheaper which they are if you catch a deal. This is not always possible. Otherwise great. No complaint. Billing issue once is reason I could not give a five. Took two payment instead of one and bounced by account.

I had someone come to my door asking if I was interested. I was. I signed up for 4 treatments (1 year). I was told they would spray around the perimeter of my home, spray under my sinks, etc., take care of the ants I had been seeing in the kitchen, and do something about the carpenter bees around my deck. They set up an appointment for a Monday afternoon between 4-5. Instead they came early in the morning, around 10 saying they were in the neighborhood. My wife was home at the time. It was pouring rain. All this guy did was put 2 mouse traps in my basement. I have never had mice!
I called the next day and was told he would come back out for another fee. I told her I just wanted to cancel my contract and get a refund. She said the 'manager' would call me back. No call back for 2 days. Just an email saying I was scheduled for another appointment (that I did not ask for). I called again and was told a 'manager would call me back to set up my cancellation and refund'. Four so called service managers. Called me back over the next 2 days - I finally got someone to agree to cancel my 'service' and I would get a refund of $109 for the first 'non-visit'. Two weeks later I still have not received a refund nor confirmation my contract was cancelled. Do NOT use Terminix. It is a rip-off.

I called Terminix to take care of a ant problem I had. I called to set up a service the next day. The guy over the phone told me that they would be at my house the next day from 8-10. The next day I called to make sure they were coming. The lady I talked to said they have me in the system and would be at my house from 8-12. The time went from 8-10 to now 8-12. Ok so it increased 2 more hours but I was patient since Terminix is a professional reputable business. Well noon time had passed now and no one came. I called again and the lady on the phone said she was sorry they're late and to wait 30 more minutes. It is now 1:30 and no one still didn’t show up. I couldn’t wait anymore because I had plans.
Terminix never called me to make sure some one came or even followed up if the service was even done. So no one showed up or even called me. Not even a note on the door. A very poor way to do business. So they lost my business and gave it to ORKIN! The Orkin people were on time and punctual. And even followed up like a normal business does that care about their customers, which Terminix does not. I will never call Terminix for my business. Thank you ORKIN for coming to the rescue. Shame on you Terminix.

I sign a 2 year contract because I originally had mice and snakes!! They came out 3 times and told me I still had places that needed patched up and the original job needed to be re done from April to now!! 6/11/19 I have called several times and they never called me back!! I called 3 times today asking for a manager! And they wouldn’t let me explain my situation to a manager!!! They kept saying, "We can come out tomorrow?" I’m still paying each month! And never received the service I was promised!!! They have a lack in communication!! As well with promising money Back guaranteed!!!! Terrible experience!!! They don’t honor their customers!!

I have been a Terminix customer for many years and have for the most part been pleased until the past few month. I received my yearly renewal notice and found that my rate had increased quite a bit from the prior years. I telephoned the company and spoke with a representative who told me that since I was with the company for so long that he would renew my contract at my prior year's rate, and adjust my bill accordingly in the amount of $43.00. I immediately paid my renewal charges in full at that time, for the period through May 31, 2020.
Approximately one month later, I received a notice in the mail that my termite protection is to expire: renewal due. The notice showed $43.00 as being due which is the amount my account was to be adjusted for, as documented above. I telephoned Terminix immediately and spoke with a representative that assured me that the $43.00 would adjusted through a credit to my account immediately.
Then approximately two weeks later, I received two separate telephone calls from the Terminix Collections Department advising me that I had an overdue balance. Now common sense people; how can I have an overdue balance when I just paid you my entire agreed upon yearly renewal payment, that mind you did post to my credit card account, for the next year through May 2020! After having several conversations with the Collections representative, I was once again assured that a credit of $43.00 would be posted to my account. Well guess what, it was not!
Since at this point I had no confidence in the Terminix representatives, I telephoned Terminix to verify the posting of the credit for the $43.00. When I telephoned and entered my phone number I received a message stating that my agreement had EXPIRED! Again, what happened to the yearly payment I paid in advance of the year's agreement? I again spoke with a representative who super assured me she would resolve the problem. I requested to speak with a manager but was told none were available (imagine that). I also requested that the representative send me a copy of my yearly renewal agreement, and she stated she would. Well guess what another lie! I never received a copy of my renewal agreement, and I cannot get confirmation that my account and agreement are current. Hence, I am writing this e-mail complaint.
Bottom line do not trust or believe anything a Terminix representative tells, or assures you of. My issue is still open and I have not received any communications from Terminix regarding the status of my renewal. I am currently interviewing other pest control companies and will likely be requesting a refund through my credit card for the payment I made. Very sad that a company gets so large that they forget the loyal longtime customer.

Hello, I am writing this review as I schedule a rodent inspection in order to sell my house. Contacting the call center I was promised it would happen in the AM the following day. During dinner the night I called, I received a call from the inspector that was supposed to be coming out. Hearing a sad story about his personal life he then told me that he would not be able to make his appointment (similar to other issues that I've read other people have had in my area, SLC, UT). I instructed him that meeting this appointment was crucial for the sell of my home.
The following day, I had not heard from him, or his supervisor. I Contacted customer service and was on hold for roughly 10 minutes with no answer to my call. At this point in time, I am choosing to go with another inspector agency as Terminix obviously cannot schedule or handle their affairs adequately, especially for them being "One of the biggest pest control company on the planet".

Updated on 06/17/2019: This is an update to my complaint/review on June 11th, 2019. It is June 17th 4:42pm and Terminix has not reached out to me to resolve my concern. I was contacted by Terminix on June 12, for payment to renew my contract. When informed of my complaint, the kind representative reached out to a local Branch Mgr to answer my concerns/questions with reference to the contract. She called me again on June 13th to check if I was satisfied with his response and if I would like to renew the contract. She was most surprised that the Branch Mgr did not take the trouble to contact me. As I said earlier, I have still not been contacted by Terminix with reference to the details of contract.
Original Review: Our Termite contract is up for renewal, which we have been renewing since 2012. Every year we receive renewal notice, but never an updated contract with the renewal notice. This year I decided to call for details. The one & only Customer Service Representative who answered the phone was not equipped to give me any information regarding the terms of the contract. When I asked to speak with a Supervisor, I was informed there was none, but entered my request in the system to receive a call back. Since I was determined to speak with Terminix the same day, I went online to find the local agents in Webster and Alvin, Tx areas. I would go through the recorded prompts, hold forever, but to no avail.
Eventually, I went online, again dialed as it reads “Call to speak with an agent immediately: **”. I heard the same recording, there was again a long wait. I then followed the prompts to set up a call back from customer service & received a screen confirmation that a Terminix Agent will call back from 1800 525 1933 or text from 313131 with standard SMS charges. Unfortunately, I spent over 2 hours on the phone without any contact with a Representative and without receiving a call back. The next day I realized I had saved a Technicians phone no. from a previous inspection. I called him, luckily he answered and I told him the reason for my call. He promised he would convey my name & contact to his Branch manager for a call back and would text me a local number where I can call as well.
It’s been a week since, neither did I receive a text nor heard back from the tech or the branch Mgr. Our concern is that if we needed Terminix for service in case we sighted termites, how long would it be before they ever heard our complaint or showed up for treatment of the termites. It seems a total waste of $429.75 towards a an insurance, since there is no preventive measure taken against the termites, except for once a year inspection (a walk through the house and the front/backyard). I decided to write this complaint as I received another Renewal Notice in the mail today! June 10, 2019. Aren’t they prompt in asking for payment as against providing some level of customer service.

We had a bat in our house so we wanted to make sure we didn’t have an infestation. We also wanted to find out how it got inside of our house. Carl thoroughly inspected our house and found no infestation. Although he found points of access for them to get into our attic, he found no droppings and no way for them to get from the attic to the house, without going through an opened door. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional and provided us with options to prevent a recurrence.

Called Terminix regarding ants in our home. They now bring a "Field Inspector" to review any other issues with your home. At the end of the visit they presented an estimate for over $4,700 to do work in our crawl space stating there was fungi, mildew and mold beneath our home (it's May and has rained more than 40 of the past 60 days - severe flooding in most of the Midwest). Anyone reading this should get a 2nd opinion and 3rd opinion on any additional work Terminix is suggesting.

Cannot say much about the company's performance because they never showed up. I waited for 4 hours for nothing. When I called them to inquire regarding the the appointment I was told that no one was coming and to reschedule. Glad I experienced this before getting into the years worth of aggravation.

I paid $1100 for them to treat my bed bugs. I threw out all my living room furniture. My boxsprings. My house is turned upside down. All my clothes and shoes was dried and put on my patio. They came to my house 3 times and still am seeing bed bugs. I've made several calls to have someone from corporate call me still no one called. Am being told to have Stanley Steemer come and steam clean the carpet and I called them and they told me it's a bad idea because it will make it worst. I would like to know what I paid $1100 for and myself and kids are still getting bite. I don't know why they agree to take my money and can't get rid of these creatures. I cannot afford to pay any more money and I don't know what to do.

I had a short period of time to exterminate the termites before I left for NY. They promised me at Terminix that they would come and be able to complete the process. I waited for four consecutive days for the promised appointments. They never contacted me about rescheduling, all four times I had to call them, and I finally called another company who came the same day. Apparently Terminix does not care about customers or their time.

I signed up for a Terminix service last year and was expecting this service to be a one time thing. NO! The company did not make me aware that I was signing a year long contract that automatically extends every year following. They sent me many fees and I was VERY disappointed with their customer service. Customer Service was not able to help and simply continued to charge me for fees and services I was not using.

I paid to have my son's apartment treated for bedbugs, with a 3 month retreatment period. The tech used the freezing technology and also put down pesticides. When my son returned home, he moved the couch cushions and there were about 60 bedbugs still very alive under there. He called and they said to "give it time", and call for a retreat in 2 weeks. When he called for the retreat, no one would answer, so he left a message, but got no callback. This went on for a few days until finally he called the regional office and they called the locals who then set up an appointment.
When the tech came the second time it had been a full 3 weeks, and the apartment was fully infested again. But instead of using the freeze treatment he just went in and sprayed pesticide. It did nothing. The bugs are worse than ever! He and his family are bit up and they see live bugs on the couch. If Terminix had come back in a timely manner and used the effective treatment they promised, this wouldn't have happened. As it is we've spent $1500 for nothing.

A year ago my husband and I discovered termites in our bathroom. We called several places to compare and we chose Terminix. The inspector promised us no worries. Everything was taken care of as long as we paid the annual fees. That was the beginning of many lies ahead. The tech that was supposed to treat and install never performed the services right so this past Saturday we had a swarm come through our dining room floor after I fell through it. And then on top of all that I call and talk to 3 different agents about getting someone there asap and everyone lied! Saying someone will call soon and never did. And to icing the cake I ask about who's gonna fix my floor and somehow after everything else I don't have damage coverage. So their satisfaction guarantee ain't nothing but false advertising. My attorney can call them now!!

We followed all the step required before initial treatment. They coming in and install mattress encasements on 3 beds. On one bed they didn't have this right size so they put a size bigger on it causing the encasements to bubble up and fill with air. On the other two beds they decided to put the platform inside the encasements with the mattress! And to make things worse they've been installed encase mattress platform on top of a rusty frame without putting down any tape to protect the encasements from getting ripped! Our stuff is in bags for 2 months. My house was turned upside down and the entire process was a nightmare. I develop a phobia - a crippling fear of these bugs and now I have a hard time sleeping. I have to check my bed three times before I can even sit on it. In my living room I haven't been in there since.
I called Terminix back. Inform them that the mattress encasements have holes and I believe the bugs are back. NHL me that my warranty is up despite the fact that they installed encasements wrong! I don't know why they didn't just treat my mattresses. The idea of having a bag of bugs in your house and expect it not to rip or tear is ridiculous! It's a scam! Mattress encasements is a set up for failure. A complete circle jerk to get you to come back and spend more money!
Now I'm trying to give them to come back out here and it's taking me 5 days to get ahold of them and even then I could I didn't get ahold of them on the phone. I had to ask for new services for the internet to get one of their sales representatives to call me. This will be the third appointment I've made trying to get them back out here and they couldn't get me anything sooner than Thursday, another 4 days! Let's see if they show up this time. In the meantime I'm laundering my stuff and I'm going to sleep in my van!

Deceived. I have a regular service with Terminix and I called them because I thought I had a rat in my house. Well a guy named John came over and I was told I was infested with rats. He really scared me so I got the extra contract to get rid of the infestation. As it turns out no rats were caught in over a month from them. If I’m infested why wasn’t anything caught?? I have called numerous times and I still have not had a supervisor call me to explain why I was lied to. Now I’m stuck in contract and no infestation.

I have signed on for service in Queens, New York just a month ago. While the first visit was effective, it has been a challenge to book a follow up appointment (which was part of the contract). Service hours are not very flexible, and that requires to take days off from work or pay someone to be at home, if you are a working professional. Most unfortunately, after I did all that, the tech showed up an hour and 22 minutes past his appointment schedule, without giving a courtesy call of running late. Needless to say that no one was at home to greet him, and now I am back to rescheduling it again. I canceled the service and strongly advise people against using Terminix as there are many worthy substitutes around. The treatment is ineffective and when asked to deliver on the promise (i.e. 100% satisfaction guarantee), you would be put through a wringer. Utterly disappointed.

First off, I have been a customer for quite a while and the service has been excellent 99% of the time and the local office has always been great. The issue I have just started when I never received my quarterly service and called to find out why. I was told that they called and left a message, which is impossible because the phone they have been calling for the last 5 years has no voice mail, so after scheduling I talked with a customer service rep, who could have not cared less. She said if they said they left a message then they probably called my wife's phone. My wife says she never got a message.
I told her that maybe I should go with a different pest control company since she really didn’t care how my service was missed. She said ok, I said, "You really don’t care if I go to a different company?", and she said no. So pretty much the corporate employee doesn’t care about the franchise's customers. I spoke with Drew from the local branch soon after this call and for now I am keeping Terminix, bottom line is if you have any issues get in touch with the local office that appreciates your business, or call corporate and get irritated.

This company has covered the termite protection on my home since construction 33 years ago. When I received my annual renewal it was paid in 4 payments over 6 weeks as has been done in the past. I received an e-mail stating they wanted to get me back as a customer. I called the company and told them I had went nowhere and that is when I was told my contract had been cancelled for not paying the entire bill at one time. I told them that's the way I had paid for over 30 years. I was told it had changed in 2019. When I told them I had not received a notification again I was told again it had changed. I ask them to reinstate my contract since they had been holding my payments. I was told that was not possible. I have spoken to several managers. Same answer. I was told could not write a new contract because I have a deck attached to my home.

This was the first time that we have had any pest control company on our property. We had an infestation of bed bugs that was brought home in suitcases. We followed Terminix instructions before their Service. Since their service we have had no signs of live bed bugs, only dead ones. The treatment is working!

Terminix has been efficient and effective for insect control. They come quarterly, do their job and then leave. Their technician calls us about the scheduling of our service and let's us know when to expect him. His name is Kevin and he is just very, very friendly and accommodating. He answers our questions promptly or gives us information as to where we can get an answer. I would tell my friends to go with Terminix.

My mom had a termite inspection and the technician indicated she had a rat infestation under her house. He told my mom's caregiver that if they were that bad under the house, they'd be in the attic too. They looked in the attic and found nothing. I set a trap under the house and left it for three days. I caught nothing. My mom is 89 years old. I'm glad her caregiver was there.

Terminix took care of a termite problem professionally but their followup has been anything but professional or efficient. We called to have them rebury a termite trap, twice made appointments and twice they were a no show. Now they are billing us for services already paid for and when we call to complain they promise a callback from a manager that never happens. I miss my old termite company.

Bill is totally wrong. Very nice for beginning, then when you signed contract, always have hidden fees come up. You have to call a lot of toll free number and talk to unfriendly representatives. I’m already cancel all the services.

I’ve never had a worse experience with any other company in general. It seems like the technicians only show up to check off a box (if they actually do). This is the second time they’re supposed to be at my property and even for the first appointment, I kept calling customer service, they kept putting my calls in the “notes”, and claiming someone was out there.
After asking them to call before and upon arrival, they never do. They claim their technicians read the service order but why don’t they make an attempt to call me or my tenants if they are on their way or even while they are there. Even furniture companies do that. Why drive hours and leave without attempting to do what you came for? I don’t even believe they actually show up. Today I was on the phone with their office trying to reach the technician. Next update I get, the technician was at the property. My profile has both primary and secondary contact. No one showed up, knocked or rang the bell nor called the numbers on the profile. Please anyone know of any other company?

I have a contract with Terminix. This is my second year with them and I am very happy with the Service they provide. I originally contacted them two years ago for tiny ants that I had in my kitchen which I could not get rid of on my own. They came and treated the areas in my kitchen where the ants were present and I didn’t see them anymore and they have not returned. Since they have been spraying quarterly around the exterior of my house I have not seen any spiders in my house or other bugs outside. When my tech Carl comes for my quarterly service if he finds any spiderwebs, he removes them.

I have had termite coverage with Terminix for my house in Bay Minette, Alabama for approx 20 yrs and the previous owners for approx. 10 yrs. Now they will no longer cover my house. According to Terminix their risk has increased for coverage of Formosan Termites. The inspector today said I no longer qualify for coverage even if I agreed to the new rate of $999.00 vs $360.00 a yr and a new treatment of $600.00. The reason: I have a synthetic deck with wood support that has been there for 20 yrs. So, no coverage for my house. This could happen to you! I am very upset that after being a loyal customer for 20 yrs they will no longer cover my house.

Tech was scheduled to inspect March 5 2019 but was not able to make appointment. Said he would enter the info to show inspection was complete and would come by the next day. I received an email stating inspection was completed and the pics of what tech found were of the floor of his truck and info stated our home was crawl space, we have a full basement. Never heard from anyone at Terminix for a follow up. Receive our bill and now there are two charges. One for the “liquid defend system” and one for “liquid defend system service plan”. Call customer service Monday April 22 asking for an explanation for why I am billed for two plans and also why there has been no inspection.
Customer service cannot answer and states local office will contact me. Thursday receive email from local office but it does not answer my question, replay with my contact info. Thursday call customer service and told will be contacted by local office. Call Friday, talk to customer service and transferred to customer service general manager who once again states I will be contacted by local office. One week later, have spoken to three customer service reps and one supervisor, but no one has tried to contact me. All I want is to play my bill and have my home inspected.

We contacted Terminix after having dealt with one of their employees in a work environment. At work I had found the Terminix employee to be knowledgeable and helpful when discussing work-related rodent problems, (and when we had an unwelcome guest show up in our attic at home, he was more than willing to troubleshoot ideas with me.) We attempted to solve the attic rodent problem in our home ourselves, but we found the critter to come and go, and was evading our home traps. One frustrating night we decided to call Terminix and left our contact information describing the problem. We began communicating through email with the sales and administration. We were told a flat fee that would have a technician coming to the house intermittently for 6 months and helping us to eradicate the problem. The initial interactions through email were prompt and to the point.
The technician showed up, we explained the problem. We asked where he thought the rodent could be getting in, and he said he wasn't sure at this point. He set some traps around the attic access panel and said he'd be back in a week. He advised us not to plug any hole we found, as with the warmer weather the critter would want to leave the attic. He was prompt upon his arrival the following week. He went directly into the attic and said nothing had been disturbed, he'd be back in next week.
During this next week, we located where we believed the rodent to be coming into the house. When the technician arrived the following week, we showed him the access point, he agreed that it was the likely spot of access and advised us putting a one way trap on it. This is where our dealing with Terminix went downhill. We were told at this point that having a one way trap placed on the rodent access point would cost us more. When we said we paid a flat rate, the technician informed us that this was an extra service.
We then asked what it was we were actually paying for? We had been charged hundreds of dollars, and our technician had been on our location for maybe 30 minutes, had not located the access point of the rodent, and had not caught the rodent. In all fact, he had not done anything that we ourselves had not done, and still have not done. We were under the impression when calling an "expert" that they would be providing a service that we ourselves would not be able to accomplish.
We then contacted sales and administration and were informed this was now a wildlife problem and they would have to be called in to place the one way trap at an extra cost. They were absolutely unwilling to aid us in any way and we were then told we had an interior package, and this was an exterior package problem. So needless to say, we'll be dealing with the problem ourselves, as we have been. This has been a complete waste of money.

Service tech said he came to my house and formed service and never did, I saw I was charged by the company for a service never performed. Then my wife and kids start to see ants and I called service center for a service date. Never got a callback. A week later I get a call from my wife that I had ants everywhere bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, closets. I didn't believe her 'til she sent a video. I called service center, tell them the problem, was told I will have service next day to only get a call from the local branch that they have nothing. They can send someone Monday. This is the worst company. I will never recommend them.

I am a older woman and feel like I am being taken advantage of by Terminix! Bought a house that had termites and hired Terminix to treat and I have stayed on their yearly plan to have them come do inspection to make sure there is no activity. So they come out several times and tell me everything looks good. No active termites present. Well I was having some wood replaced and guess what? Very much active termites still present.
I called to get a tech out and they didn't send one for 3 days. After I called I was in shock because for the last 2 years they have promised me no active termites so for 2 years I thought all is good. Even calling them a few times extra because of worrisome spots and the guy would say, "No. That's nothing." Well it was something and they have destroyed my main support beam across my garage. The cost is going to be thousands of dollars! The best part is that it has been 2 weeks still and no callback from anyone and was promised a call in 48 hours and still no one has called. Think I may just need to hire an attorney at this point. I am so upset and feel like people need to be aware how they treat their customers and save someone the devastation of this happening to them!

We have a long standing termite contract with Terminix. We found 3 places in wood floor in 3 separate rooms in our house with obvious termite damage and infestation after a recent annual inspection by 2 Terminix technicians. They told us there is no signs of termite. A few days later my cleaning maid found 3 separate places in the middle of 3 separate rooms where the termites have eaten through the wood floor with live termites crawling out of hollowed out wood floor. Multiple phone calls were diverted to overseas call center whose operator can not even understand English.
We got the runaround. Every phone call says there is no record of the previous call. Eventually an inspector showed up after speaking to the manager of the operator. But no corrective action or follow-up contact after many days. Another phone call today again says there is no record of our previous contact and the inspection has to be repeated. I do not know whether the poor service is sheer incompetence or a deliberate company policy to frustrate customer complaints to save money.

I recently inherited a house that has termite damage after their services were paid for over 19 years! This company is very sketchy! I asked for the contract to be emailed to me & they have yet to do it & they won’t! They say they are not responsible for termite damage??!! They supposedly did annual inspections every year but now I have termites! Tell me how you could possibly have any peace of mind with a company that operates this way? Take my word for it, check the reviews from the BBB. I don’t know how they have a rating this higher from Consumer Affairs after everything I’ve seen as far as reviews.

The company sales representative was a very kind and explained the inspection process, bait station and the chemicals used. I was very happy to see the company is willing to negotiate the price after we stated our bottom line price we were willing to pay. I wish I would've gotten a quote for big and spidering control. I didn't realize at the time Terminix did that as well.

Called to schedule appointment. Verified multiple times the date and exactly what was to take place on the appointment date. Representative reconfirmed each time. When they didn't show up I called. The excuses I got was...1. The technician was driving so they couldn't reach him but he was on his way. They gave me the Tech's name. 30 minutes later, still no Tech. Next excuse was that the Tech didn't have a phone but Service Mgr would call me in next few minutes. 30 minutes later, I called again. Was told my appointment was the following day. They didn't have anybody by the name they told me was the Tech who was on his way an hour ago AND the info the representative gave me during the initial call was all incorrect. I had taken the day off work and was boarding my animals and was told my appointment was the following day. All they could say after confirming everything prior was incorrect was 'sorry'. Will NEVER use or recommend them.

In 2017 I sold my house and needed a termite inspection before I left the house. Terminix set up an appointment with me and then rescheduled, and then on the day the Derek guy was supposed to show up and he didn't and they had to send another guy last minute. 1-800-Dig-Rite couldn't believe that Terminix was so lazy that they told me to call and set up the details so their business could come and dig on my property and they said they couldn't process the request because Terminix needed to call for this, not the customer. (a big waste of time) I overlooked their disorganized antics at this point because I just needed the termite inspection and that's it so I could sell the house.
Long story short, they found one teeny tiny little hole in the trim of my brick house and said that hole was probably a termite and that I needed to treat it. After being told that I could get a deal where they sprayed for other pests too along with treating for supposed termites from the one hole they found in a door trim, I said ok. I was told if I paid $500 they would do the treatment and then I could get the piece of paper I needed to sell my house. I did it and then it all seemed over with.
Fast forward 1 year later my credit card gets auto-charged out of the blue for another $500. When I call and ask what this is for they say that I have to pay it because it's the rest of the money I needed to pay and that if I don't pay it then the piece of paper they gave me legally isn't valid. So they pretty much used the fact that I was selling my house to strong arm me and bully me into getting screwed out of another $500 on a house that was not mine anymore.
The manager Doug that I spoke to was quite a jerk and offered no consolation whatsoever and when I told him I was very unhappy about the mafia tactics of getting money out of me they offered to give me 25% on termite service on my new home. I firmly declined because I wouldn't trust this company to change a lightbulb in my home, let alone treat my house for termites. Untrustworthy and unreliable and when I think about it I still would like to file a lawsuit against them for how they conducted their "business." -Joshua

After signing contract with this Terminix for a commercial property, they charged the initial charge for setting things up (Nothing was set up. It was just another way to grab a few $100). The 1st month they finally showed up after 6 phone calls and nonsense lies at every call. The following month it was a complete no show after waiting 2 weeks. Every day another excuse and contradicting each other of their own lies. I'm stunt how a supposedly professorial company like this has such lack of service and professionalism. They scam you into the initial charge so the sales person gets his commission and then you're on your own. To me this is a total customer scam. Obviously I cancelled my account and moved on to the next one.

Terminix in Tampa, Florida killed my sister's cat. They were scheduled to come to her house at 3 PM. Before they were supposed to come, they were supposed to call P.E.S.T., which they would have made the arrangements to remove the cat safely off the premises before they tented her apartment for termites. My sister made arrangements to have them ready to come at 3 PM. If they followed the original plan, the cat would still be alive.
INSTEAD, they arrived at 12:30 PM, while my sister was at work. They knew my sister was at work. They called her and did not leave a voicemail. They went into her apartment, claimed they did not see her cat, who is VERY SHY TO STRANGERS AND HIDES BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT CATS DO, and tented the apartment with the cat still inside. They did not call P.E.S.T. informing them that they were coming early.
It is illegal in Florida to abuse or neglect an animal and they need to go out of business for this unethical and careless behavior. They are exterminators, not cable guys who can show up within a time window. My sister now has lost a dear companion who has helped her through very emotional times. Do not trust this business.

The initial treatment went well, but This contract has been a joke. What have I been dishing out money for Over the last 10 years if you don’t honor your end when it comes time? You’ve been supposed to retreat for two years now. No luck... I can’t even get someone in charge to call me back. All you want to do is keep resending inspectors out who recommend a retreatment and say someone will be out the following week but nothing ever happens. I keep getting your phone calls asking for more money to renew the contract. Money money and more money your way, but no obligation fulfilled on your part.

Ok so I called in March because I have a wasp problem. Set up appointment for the next week. I took day off work for the service... No call. No show. Called back the next and was told the service manager would call me back, he didn't. I received a call about a week later from Faheed the service manager asking if I still need the service, I said, "Yes, you never came." He sets up appointment for the 17th. I requested for later in the day so I didn't have to take off work again - he agreed.
So the 17th comes and Logan calls me up and says that he can be there around noon and if I was going to be around, I said, "No, I'm working." He says he can't stick around for me to get off so I said my gf can sign for me. He comes - doesn't bring a ladder and sprays some stuff around the house, then tells my gf that I should get a ladder and climb up in the attic 'cause that's where the wasps are probably at. Leaves and charges me 100 dollars. I still have wasps, I call and ask for refund, was told to contact Faheed. I call, straight to voicemail, with a full mailbox so I can't leave a message.... I want a refund.

I was recommended through HomeAdvisor. Called the local office and the call was rerouted elsewhere. The individual set up an appointment for 4-19 between 8 am and 12 noon. Technician was to call 30 minutes before arrival. No call, no show. Called again and was told the branch manager would call to explain and set up another time. 3 hours later no call. I then called again and requested the the whole thing be canceled. Rep said it takes 24 hrs for a call from the branch manager. I said that that's unacceptable. The rep said he would take care of canceling the account. Hope he does.

Bought a house with termite damage, have fumigation by Terminix. Also bought few years warranty. Later on, I have handyman come to do some repairs of my home and found some termite damage, so I called them to check, but the answer is there's no sign of termite and refused to do anything. They admitted that there's some termites found around the fences but they said the contracts didn't cover the fence. But the termites from outside can come inside the home. So they will not do anything unless the termites inside the house. Very frustrated to the Terminix in Monterey California. Will never pay for the warranty subscription anymore.

He communicates well if he sees something that needs addressing, and he always lets us know when he's coming out for a service. Recently, my house was inundated with tiny ants. We had problems with mice last summer and got the quarterly service where technicians installed mouse traps inside and out and checked them quarterly. During the service visit in February, the technician suggested we contact a salesperson to discuss Exclusion service which covers all types of pests and has a warranty. We spoke with a salesman and decided to invest in the Exclusion service. It is expensive but we were able to financing over five years and it included putting insulation in our attic, more mouse traps inside and out, termite bait stations, vented covers on any vents/chimney on the roof and a seal to cover openings under garage door. the most recent visit was to install the seal under garage door which was the last outstanding task. Still have the quarterly mouse service as well just to make sure they get rid of any rodents who might already be "in residence".
As I said, service is not cheap but there is a warranty and we feel it will prevent any damage to our home which can be extensive if not addressed. Technicians are always skilled and very friendly - even to our new puppy! Glad we did this. Also wanted to mention that before we got Terminix, we purchased the poison "traps" for mice and had a frightening incident when our daughter's dog somehow got to the poison pellets and ate them - that was a $300 trip to the vet and probably contributed to her existing health issues. Could have killed her so we will never try to get rid of rodents on our own again.

I requested a quote online on Tuesday 9th of April. Somebody called me and said that the technician will be on Friday to my property and give me an estimate.sometime between 5 to 7 pm. Nobody showed up. I called Terminix and they apologised to me and they told me that the technician will call me on Monday to rescedule. Nobody called. So yesterday Monday afternoon I called back and I was told, "Dont worry. Tuesday morning the technician will call you." It's 1 oclock pm. Nobody called me. It's ok. There are other companies that need bussiness.

Not a happy customer!!! I feel like I have been duped by this company. In September of 2018 I had a bad flea infestation and called for a quote. The gentleman I spoke to, Jeff, informed me that for a discounted price of $189 they would come out to spray my in and outside and that if I needed them to come back I had 3 months of service available to me at no additional charge. I agreed and made the appointment. I was not available on the day the techs came to spray, so my mother, who is now deceased, let the techs in and signed the paperwork for me.
Before the expiration of the 3 months, in December, I got a notification that the tech was going to spray my exterior. Thinking that is was part of what I initially agreed to with Jeff, I allowed them to come. 2 weeks later I have a bill for $129!!! I have called to dispute this and cancel this service 3 times and had no response from the management team that I was told would call me. Plus, the services were never cancelled as I just received another notice that they were scheduled to come back out to spray this week. I made that third call today and spoke with the manager of the call center, Misty, who again informed me that the service is cancelled (again) and a local manager would be reaching out regarding the dispute (again).
So, my question is, is this how they do business?! Because, I called for a one time service and got signed up for an ongoing term that I never agreed to!! I’ll never use their services again and I’ll be recommending my family and friends follow suit. I’m deeply disappointed in the way my case has been handled. Next time I’ll be calling an honest, local company!!

I have used Terminix on several projects around my home. From pest control, crawl space insulation, building support, attic insulation, and termite protection. I never had an issue until recent attic insulation turned into chaos. February 28 2019, after completing the insulation my driveway was left with debris and a large bag of debris. The workers asked due to their truck being full, could they return the next day and complete the cleanup process. I said yes, it must be cleaned up tomorrow.
As of this review 14 April 2019, the crew has never returned to clean up this mess! I have call Terminix at least 8 times requesting the cleanup and a call from a manager. After receiving several promises it would be resolved, I have not spoken to anyone. My pest control technician took pictures and called his supervisor about the issue yet, the issue still has not been resolved. Terminix was quick to take my payment for the work done but, has failed miserably in completing the work and customer service! Moving forward, I will not recommend them for anything. Thanks Terminix for a job not well done.

I hired Terminix to get rid of the ants my Mom always got every year in the spring and summer. She lived in Ohio and I live in Wisconsin. My mom would report to me on how things were going. The only thing I can suggest Terminix may want to think about for other households, if they have plats like my Mom. The dirt in the plants should be completely spread out to get rid of any ants that are harboring in there.
My mom kept getting the ants back and when Terminix came out they would spray around the area but did nothing about the ants in the dirt of the plants. Therefore they kept returning until my mom spread all the dirt out and let the ants go elsewhere then put the dirt back into the plants. Terminix did come back as promised when my Mom called to say they still had the ants. They always called ahead of time to let her know when they would be there. Overall they did a really good job of keeping the bugs away once they were gone for good. Thank you and I would recommend them to others. DJ from Wisconsin.

We started to notice signs of mice/rats in our home. It was so upsetting and felt like my home was being destroyed by these pests. I knew I had to do something because everything I tried failed. I called Terminix they came right over, looked at everything and quoted us a reasonable price. They then proceeded to close all entries outside and inside my home. They placed traps in all the right places. They were very good and knew I had pets. It took 1 month and now we are pest free. They come out every 3 months to check everything. I will continue to keep their service because with their help I have my home back. Rats/mice do so much damage. They chewed through electrical wires, through my dishwasher water tube. If it wasn't for Terminix I don't know what we would of done.

I have had Terminix termite bonds for many years. I have had to make multiple calls on different occasions for different reasons to get any service from them. Their service is not the greatest. Mainly, the average price has been around $300. All of a sudden they increase their termite bond price 5 times to $1500. Can anyone recommend a new company?

Never completed the work, broke items on my house during the tenting, the follow up was rude, and dismissive. Never was resolved after I repeatedly complained and sent pictures of the damage. Then after I cancelled my service for the monthly follow up, they showed up anyway and tried to charge me. I have spent over 4,000.00 with them and felt like I was scammed. TOTALLY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Would never use them or suggest them to anyone, EVER!!!!

In December, 2018, we contracted with Terminix to provide rodent (flying squirrel) control in our retirement home. Terminix promptly came out that very week to remove all old insulation, cover up entry holes, and replace with a new insulation containing boric acid, which squirrels abhor. However, when we drove up to inspect the work, we found that one portion of the attic had barely any insulation in it. Because customers must go through remote call centers, oftentimes the local offices do not get the scheduling messages. I had the call center rep repeat the service I desired, so the input into the computer was correct.
One time I drove 1 1/2 hours to this house with a scheduled appointment to find the technician brought rodent traps, but no insulation. Another time I cancelled an appointment due to a conflict and the technician showed up with a crew to install additional insulation. Luckily we have a lockbox so the crew could enter to do their job. The work was done in April of 2019. Four-five months is too long to complete a one day job. To give Terminix the benefit of the doubt, the company does try to make things right eventually. I'm told the company is installing new up-to-date computers which I'm hoping will remedy the communication problem. We should have been informed that the original crew ran out of insulation and Terminix should have scheduled an additional appointment immediately. However, I had to call them.

I was getting a treatment for a bad flea infestation. The first treatment gave good results but the fleas returned quickly. If any followup is needed, they make it very hard to reschedule and they give a very limited treatment at best. Third time I sat outside and tech came out in a few minutes. There was nothing done. The manager, Danny, came after I complained and was RUDE, CONDESCENDING, AND DISMISSIVE. They refunded my money after I filed a BBB complaint, rather than try to fix the problem. Waste of time.

Since I had bedbugs 4 years ago, that started my unpleasantness. I wasn't advised that I needed an inspection, they constantly messed up our appointments. The whole thing took so long that they said I was infested by then. Nightmare experience. Today I called to make an appointment for water bugs. They scheduled me for bedbugs after waiting for the call center for about 15 minutes with little communication. I told the woman at least 4 times that it was pest control, not bed bugs. I rarely see the same technician twice in a row. Your customer service is horrible.

I had them to take rodent out. They did very bad at coming back and checking traps. They would miss appointment and never did they catch Rat... They were supposed to come by regularly. They did not make scheduled visit and if they did they would spray a little area and leave.... My contract ended and they still are charging me another 300 dollars for not saying I don't want their service even though I told them on numerous occasions when they called and I complain. I said I don't like and don't want their service... RIP Offff.

The cost was overwhelming but the nice lady eased my concerns when she said I was approved for 24 months interest free and I was covered for any issues r/t termites as well as zero payment due for 2 months. I never received my bills or contract or statement, online showed all my info was correct and even allowed me to make a payment then never showed payment due again. 45 days later I'm getting collection calls and threats to report to the credit bureau for a 3rd party co called ServiceMaster, saying my bill was 300 more and I wasn't interest free and my address was entered wrong and they modified my contract without my consent.

As 2 working adults with four kids it's not easy to get ready for a visit from a pest control agent so when you go through all that and wait four hours and you finally call and hold for 45 minutes just for someone to say "oh there was a problem" and there's no openings for a week it makes you wonder why am i doing business with someone that does not value my time or my money. Thank you Terminix for the wonderful experience. I havent canceled yet but I bet a different company would have showed up or at least called.

Terminix has been providing termite control at our beach house for many years. The servicemen are always professional and explain what they are doing. They have never minded if I tag along asking questions about the work they are doing. We recently had them come out to my mom's house to provide an estimate for rodent removal, squirrels and mice. The agent did a thorough job inspecting the perimeter of the home, basement and attic. He located areas of entry and provided a plan to secure the home from future infestation. His quote was higher than expected but I trust that the work could be done completed as promised. I would trust Terminix to provide and service stated and do a great job at it.

I am extremely frustrated. I paid $1,250 for bed bug treatment from the Marietta, Ga location. The 1st treatment was done February 21st. We were told not to put anything back in drawers or anything until the follow-up treatment that would take place in 2 weeks. It has now been 7 WEEKS. No follow up treatment per the contract, no one will answer my calls or return my emails or messages. My whole house is crammed into my garage per their instructions until the 2nd treatment. This is absolutely terrible behavior from a company rated #1. At this point if the issue is not resolved this week then I am taking the matter legal to get back the money that I paid for a contracted service that was not completed. It seems they are waiting out the warranty period which is 90 days instead of 30, but only because I paid for 3-bed bug mattress protectors at $75 a piece. I am very upset and disappointed!

The technicians that came out were good, and even they didn’t have anything good to say about the customer service. We have an infestation of powderpost beetles (PPBs); called Terminix, who said that they could/would help. First we had a no-show for a quote. We had to wait twice in an interminable queue hearing the same ads over and over and over again. The first Customer Service Rep got disconnected from us and never called us back. The 2nd one seemed to understand our problem and had a supervisor named Jeff (from Portland OR) call us and set up a new appointment. He came by, refused to examine the barn structure or the 100s of wooden baskets that had clear evidence of PPBs, and focused on a single drawer that had activity. He said 'we don't do fumigation,' even though the Customer Reps said you did. All in all, a complete waste of time.

Terrible company. My renewal stated I had 'til March to pay, in February I got a bill saying it was canceled. I called and explained and spoke to a nasty manager who said, "Yeah I see that in the computer but there is nothing I can do, sorry it’s cancelled. You will have to repay the start up fee." I am livid. What a joke of a company! I gave my business to a local company and couldn’t be happier. Also, the price went up to $1,000s for most people in our neighborhood with Terminix. So happy they messed up - worked out for the best for me! I would never recommend them to anyone.

I any well pleased with the technician assigned to my home. Chad always emails and calls ahead and I am please with his treatment of our property when we're unable to be home when he inspects our house and property. He always call afterward and emails his assessment of the inspection. I would give Terminix and Chad their Tech. a 10 out of 10 star rating. I have used Terminix for years, and have never been disappointed by their service, their product or their people. They are prompt with service appointments, do exactly as they say they are going to, and I know I can count on my home being insect and termite-free for as long as I am their customer. A home is a huge investment and protecting that investment is very important to me. Thanks to Terminix I know I will not lose on that investment.

Our property upon purchase was riddled with termite damage and active termites. A nightmare considering we looked at 200 houses and this was the one. Terminix to the rescue. The defense system in place termite free. It’s been 6 years now and every penny is worth it. Upon completion of termite treatment we seriously checked into their pest insulation. Another great decision that saves us annually on electricity for heating or worse cooling. The insulation difference was felt immediately as the AC didn’t kick on frequently. Best still is that our house is bug free. Though on occasions we will call for a bad mosquito season Terminix is our only and proven choice.
The estimate was no pressure but the service continued and still is as amazing as the day we began our relationship. Uniformed, scheduled and inspections yearly secure my home and add value. More than value is security for my pets and family. Cost was average for treatment of type but caliber again is what makes this company stand out. You truly get what you pay for and more with service unparalleled.

Hello, I don't usually write reviews on anything, but I figured I would give my experience using Terminix. I had them inspect my home and they found evidence of bed bugs, they came out a total of 3 times and sprayed my 3 bedrooms for them. Well the bed bugs didn't go anywhere, I tried to get in touch with them again after their 3rd treatment to tell them I was still having an issue, and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. I wouldn't waste money with this company to remove bed bugs.

I have been working with Terminix since December of last year. We had a specific pest problem and I was told that they would probably be the best to handle it. Their customer service has been good and the guy that comes out has been great. He comes and does an inspection first. Then before he comes, he let me know that he may have to do a certain type of treatment and that no one needs to be there. Once I meet him at the residence, he just goes from there, then he let me know when he leaves. I then come back and make sure I lock up. The pest activity in our home has decreased greatly since the service, but I need to schedule another appointment. Other than that, my experience with Terminix has been great.

I receive quarterly service from Terminix. Usually, the same person would come out but every once in a while, I get a new technician. The tech who came out yesterday for termite control had it all together. There now have been no termites in my house.

My service calls with Terminix are scheduled every three months. They usually leave me a text saying what day they're coming. They also ask if I want to have something extra done, like coming inside. They then come out and do most of the outside work themselves. I don't have any pets or locks so they go ahead and do their thing even while I'm not here. The gentleman that always calls has always been very nice and knowledgeable about what he's doing. Terminix has done a good job and I would recommend them. I'd tell others, "Try Terminix, you'll like them."

I had three no call/no shows. This is very inconvenient as I had to schedule this for my only day off and my entire day was waiting around for them to show. The worst part is I wanted to share this feedback with a supervisor or manager and could never reach one to give this feedback directly. Would have been a fan otherwise. Also didn't like how I always reached a call center and never reached someone local. I'll stick to local companies from here on out.

Our company has a big building that usually gets the pests, rodents and/or cats and birds stuck within our warehouse or admin office. Every month our technician comes in and does his job and actually takes the time to ask any one of our staffing if there have been any problems with any such pests. And in such case we do not. If we do have any problems we relate them to our technician Justin and he makes sure he can solve the problem by assessing and then making a call on what needs to be done. And so far as long as we have had Terminix which would be more than 12 years we haven't had a problem. I certainly would recommend Terminix to all the big businesses who have any pest problems. I signed up and paid for 3 months of service. After the 3 months were up, I noticed they had charged me a 2nd time, so I called to tell them about their mistake, to which they tell me, that I did not sign up for 3 months of service... but that I in fact signed up for indefinite service to which they would autodraft my account every 3 months for. This was never discussed at the initial consultation and they have refused to issue a refund nor honor the extra 3 months of services that I unknowingly paid for. I’ve spoken with several customer service reps, to which one tells me that this is a common issue. They purposefully mislead you just to get more money out of you.

I've been working with Terminix since the late 70's and my experience with them has been okay. We deal with mostly spiders and silverfish. We see spiders on the front, back porch and outdoor living spaces, and the ants in the yard. We got the contract and service to beat them down and try to keep them at bay and under control. The termite treatment that they did in the previous house we had was different than what they are doing in the house we are in right now. They are using bait stations now, so the stations are a little different.

The people from Terminix come quarterly for routine treatment. Scheduling for their service is automatic. They let me know a couple of days in advance that their service is scheduled in case I have any concerns to let them know about. Their techs are doing a good job. This last time, I wasn't home when they came. But they left a detailed notice to what all they did. A few times, I've had them come inside, and they are very thorough. The only time that I've ever had an issue was when I had to call the Terminix office. The girl rep was so horribly rude and terrible that I wanted to simply cancel completely. She was so disrespectful. And it just so happened that the service was due. But there was a man there who said to call him and not the office. He always took care of the issues, so I stuck with them. I guess he's not there anymore. Nevertheless, I would recommend Terminix based on the people that come to the house.

Recently Terminix came to do an automatic scheduled service for every three months. I get an email or a call when they'd like to come. Then, I'm usually at work and I get a text from the technician saying he's on his way, and I would say, "Okay." Terminix is great. I like it.

Terminix does what they are supposed to do and they let me know when they are coming, and they also let me know what happened afterward. The schedule of treatment has been laid out at the beginning of the year and I usually interact with the contractors over the phone or by text. I am fairly satisfied with Terminix, but I like the cost to go down. Terminix is not the best, but they are okay. I didn't have any trouble since they've been coming out.

We were with Alterra, then Terminix bought them out. Our experience with them has been good. They accommodate whatever we need to be done, which is nice. On the outside of my gate, there were ant hills and we were constantly getting ants inside the house. Since we've had Terminix controlling it, we have not had any ant problems. We also have black widows and brown widows. Their techs are very friendly and do their jobs. They come and they spray. If there's something that I need, like have them look at the rat traps and the ant problems, they take notice and see what's going on.

We recently contacted the local Chattanooga office for crawl space insulation and encapsulation to be completed for our home. They sent local salesman Billy to our home to give estimates and set everything up. We had a loan taken out to get the money for multiple repairs to be done. The encapsulation part has been done but insulating has not. Calling Billy at least 6 times, texting him and leaving messages with NO REPLY BACK AT ALL. Since then we emailed the company and received an email back that the local manager was forwarded our email and would get a call. We never got a call after two weeks.
So we had to call Terminix back to set up another appt with another salesman to hopefully help finish the small job. Since then we have put on a new roof, installed all new carpeting and put in all new HVAC unit. We feel we should get a discount on the insulating of the part underside of our home with all of this very poor local service with Chattanooga Terminix office all around. Could you please forward this email to the president of Terminix? Or send me his email address so I can personally contact him myself?

Joel from Terminix came for the annual inspection for termites and did a great job looking in my basement for any signs of new termites and then also conducted a review outside. He explained what he was doing and looked at every spot in the basement where they could enter. He gave me his card if I had any questions or if I needed him to come back to look at anything that might be suspicious.

I availed of Terminix services for preventative measures. Their technicians have been out four times and it's quarterly. It was a different technician each time but all of them seemed to know what they were talking about. They were also all very social and personable so I didn’t have a problem with any of them. None of them were out of character or out of line. At the very beginning when we thought that we might have had some mice in the attic, a technician put some traps down and said he would be back a week later. But he never came back to check them. It was no big deal though because the guy that came the next time checked the traps and took them out because he said we didn’t have any problem there.
Most recently, a gentleman came on a Saturday for a service. I was already gone but he exterminated the outside of the house. I got an email stating what he had done, something like a report, and the bill. I would recommend Terminix because they have done everything they said they were gonna do except for the one thing. Also, I haven't seen any bugs so the treatment that they put down around the house is working which is good.

I have a cockroach problem where they come in to get warm in the winter. I’ve been with Terminix for a couple of years and they come regularly and spray inside and outside every four or six months. I still have roaches, but they are dead when they get inside. The techs are professional, courteous, considerate and they seem to be people who like their job. I know when they are coming, although they came once and I didn’t know because I had not looked at my email. I pay around $100 every three months, which is a lot, but I just take it and pay for it. They do things just right or are better than others.

Terminix has been great. They’re scheduled to come out four times a year. They let me know in advance when they’d gotta be in the area, and then we'll schedule upon. The techinicians come out and work with me. If I have any problems with indoors, then they’ll spray indoors. But otherwise, they just do outside and it works out really well. Since they've been coming out, the pest activity in my property is suddenly down.

I talked with a customer representative to reschedule our annual termite inspection which had to be moved due to a death in the family. They assured me it was "no trouble" to schedule the termite inspection and our seasonal "bug spray" service on the same day. UNFORTUNATELY, dispatch sent out 2 agents to perform the inspection... neither of whom were prepared to do our seasonal "bug spray". I just received an email(March 29, 2019) that our "pest control service" is coming up on April 2, 2019... Somewhere something got dropped.

I've been with Terminix for three years now and I would recommend them. I initially got their services for a pest issue that I had which came in carried from other people's belongings. They got on top of that right away. I live by myself and I can't stand bugs and mice and so I have the mouse traps and they come here and spray every other month. The techs that I've had have been really good and I've been satisfied with all of them. The one that I have right now is very nice, knowledgeable, concerned, and always does what I ask him to. Since having the service, I don't ever see any pests anymore, which is nice.

We had a hurricane here and I was trying to get my house back to being livable. Where we live at is around a bunch of cornfields, and there were roaches that came in from there because of the hurricane, so I had Terminix come in and spray. I also had them out a few weeks ago as a preventative measure. Scheduling with them is great, but getting somebody to actually show up when they say they're gonna show up, sucks.
They'll tell you they'll be there between noon and 2:00 or noon and 3:00, and then nobody shows up until about 3:15 or 3:30. So then I've wasted a whole day that I could be working. If you say you're gonna be there at 12, be there at 12. I'm essentially a driver, and when I tell somebody that I'm gonna be there between this time and this time, if I'm not there between this time and this time, I have to cut money off of my bill in order to compensate because I wasn’t able to make it on time. If the technicians can't make it on time, they need to call me and give me a heads-up. Or they might as well just reschedule. That way, I can go and at least work some.
Since having Terminix, nothing has changed. We're still having issues. Before, the pests were all over the house. Now, they're in the cabinets and in the dark spots. I've literally poured all my food out of my pantry and put them in plastic tubs because I'm not gonna eat roach-infested food. The technicians come in and spray around the edges, and that's that. They're not taking care of the real issue. Terminix, as an idea, is a great thing, and they have a great outlay. But I don't know if they train their people well enough to execute the outlay. I've been using Terminix for about six months now, but if I could get out of whatever I'm in with Terminix and find a different company, I'd quit Terminix and go with that company.

I’ve been protected by Terminix for four years now. They normally tell me when they are coming, but I don’t get a choice and I wish to see more flexibility on when they are gonna come out. Terminix recently looked around the outside of my house and the technician was friendly and seemed professional. However, I should have asked them to find out if they found anything or not. They left nothing on paper.

Terminix is a good service. I called for a contract and the reps were good. We had a bed bug problem recently, and then they cleared it up. They came once a week until we got the problem fixed. The person that did it did a great job. If the other technicians were like him, that'll be good. I recommend 2-10 highly.

I had issues with spiders. I signed a contract with Terminix. The first appointments they just scheduled without asking if that date was ok. I had told the gentleman I wanted them to spray inside and out and the times they scheduled never matched my schedule. Then after I got the Tech to come on my schedule, things were better except I still had spiders coming in my house. He did book a couple extra appointments but I still had spiders.
Then towards the end of my contract I went online and chatted with one of their representatives asking if the next scheduled appointment was under the 1 year contract and told yes still under the 1 year contract. Asked so I will not be under a new contract. I was told I would not owe for the service. Then after the service was completed I was billed. I called the lady I talked to. Said it should not of been charged it was still under the 1-year contract. Then another man called and gave me a totally different story. I was lied to and they will not take it off my bill. I have canceled my service with them and would not recommend Terminix.

I've got three accounts with Terminix. I'm a pastor at the local church, and we use them there, and then at my home, and then at my son’s home, and we really enjoyed the service. Each location has a different problem. In my home, we have ants mostly, and we've got those well under control with a monthly spray to keep things under control. At our church, we have so many people in and out so we do have a little bit of a roach problem. It isn't bad, but we're glad Terminix is there to help with that. Then my son is blind, and so cleaning is very difficult for him, and roaches are a problem. And it has been a big help to have them come in and help get that under control because it's an ongoing process there with those.
We've had the same technician. His name was Joe. But I got a call yesterday from a young lady saying that she’ll start servicing us, and that Joe’s gone for the job. She's supposed to be at my son’s house tomorrow. Everybody else has been super nice, knowledgeable, and willing to do what they said they would do. We've not been able to pay the church’s account for whatever reason. We thought we had it set up. And my secretary was telling me earlier today that they've been trying for a week to pay the bill. And there's been confusion about something, but I'm sure that'll be resolved. We are having a little problem paying our bills, but other than that, Terminix can take my money.

I have been with Terminix for 40 years and recently, even though I wasn’t home, their tech was able to treat the outside. Before, there were bugs crawling all over my kitchen floor but since this tech has been coming, I haven’t seen a bug in my house. Also, my son has really bad asthma and he has just gradually gotten worse over the last few months. I had Terminix send somebody out to look under the floor for black mold and it indeed was all over on the wood under there and it had to be totally redone. Years ago, Terminix had put plastic under the house but this time, although it’s costing me $18,000 to get done, I knew my son had to get better, so they fixed it so that it would be completely moisture-proof under there. They put something under there to keep the moisture out and then they’ve got a sump pump so that any water that gets under there will be pumped out. They got that all done and it looked nice.

I moved in in November and when I took my stuff out of storage, I had bugs. Terminix comes in every three months and the first guy that they sent out didn’t really do much of anything. Two weeks later, Brandon, another Terminix tech, came and he was awesome. He went around early, checked everything and put baits in the traps that the other dude laid down. They were glue traps but the previous guy didn’t put any bait on them. Also, I have carpet beetle which I didn’t even know was a thing. Brandon went through everything and he also told me what I needed to do in order to get rid of the bugs.

I have Terminix for termites and normally, they send me an email and give me a call to schedule a service. Their techs are always nice. Sometimes, they're talkative, but it’s always professional. They'll knock on the door and tell me who they are. Then, they'll wander around the house, look underneath and then we'll walk through the house to make sure everything is well. Since having their service, I've not had any termites. I’ve had Terminix since 2011 and I'm satisfied with them.

I was told that we have bed bugs so I had Terminix come over. However, what was promised was not delivered. The guy who came gave us instructions on how the process was gonna be. When we were scheduling, he told us that the service would cost over $3,000 which is a lot of money. He told us that the service would be done for the whole house with tar paper outside. He also said that the house would reach a certain temperature. However, my husband who was home when they came said Terminix didn't do what their guy said was going to be done. Instead they had heating fans and they did the service room by room. It wasn't the whole house. There was a huge discrepancy.
Also, they gouged my expensive front door. I didn't notice until I came back from my trip. When I asked about their warranty, their sales guy told me that it was one month. He told me that he would send me emails with an extended guarantee but then he never followed up. Nobody came to recheck. I don’t wanna deal with Terminix and I don’t want to spend any more time on something that makes me upset.

I was a pest control customer who was offered a free termite inspection on two different occasions. Each time the local office told me that I didn't need a separate termite inspection and that their local techs had the same training as the Terminix termite inspectors. I listened to them and let them cancel my inspections by a certified termite inspector. The pest control folks came twice in September and then later I discovered termite activity in my home in October. The Terminix termite inspector's estimate to treat and prevent the return of termites: $1500+. I have worked with their local managers to come up with a fair remedy to no avail. They have made no offer to try to make things right. And to add insult to injury, they turned my account over to collections for the remaining $111 on my pest control contract!

We have had Terminix come out and provide insect treatments quarterly for several years. They always do a good job by calling ahead of time to confirm the appointment and show up to do the job well and later, email me the documents of the service. I was recently impressed because my appointment was right after the recent snow storm and Terminix took it upon itself to reschedule the appointment.

Service was done 2/8/19-2/11/19 for Termites. Representative came and inspected the entire house. After we arrived 2/11/19 back to our house, we came to our Patio Cover 3/4 of it destroyed. We took video and pictures and immediately contacted Gabriel who sold us the contract. We demanded an explanation as to why we weren't notified of our patio ruined. Gabriel then said he wasn't aware and would have his Manager call me. Never received a call from management so I called myself customer service and tried to figure out what had happened. Finally after 3 days I was able to get a hold of someone in customer service who said they would immediately contact the branch manager and have them call me back.
A day past and branch manager called me who said his Team had seen the patio missing a panel (which was a lie because only a small circle between a panel was missing) and told him "this might be a problem" but yet continued on with the job. I then told the manager, why didn't they stop the service if they said it would of been an issue in the first place? Didn't have no response and said "it was a natural disaster due to rain". I clearly told him that rain has nothing to do with dropping down a patio cover 42 feet long, it has rained a lot in California and never has it dropped the patio. I told him the tarp they put was to blame for and they needed to fix it. I told him I do agree the water might of accumulated within the tarp. May have also caused more weight to the tarp, but that Tarp had all the fault for being really heavy and your team not being able to recognize that the patio wasn't going to hold the weight.
I told him, "You guys have done thousands of houses, you guys should know better." He then said they would not pay for the damages because of "mother nature". I then went above him and spoke to Brian another manager who tried to convince me on "mother nature" disaster and that the rain was to blame. I told him as well, rain doesn't drop patios, nor has any rain in the past ever dropped our patio before. Brian came out a few days later as a "courtesy" and said they would fix it. He was very helpful up until the point when Randy (other team member) contacted me saying our agreement was to pay for half and Terminix pay for half. I told Randy, I agreed to no such thing and have been trying to contact Brian ever since.
As of 3/28/2019 my 42ft long patio is brought down and destroyed without any communication from Terminix. Please do not use Terminix, go with another company who actually values customers. We hired them for a simple Termite fix, and it ended up costing up damage to our property! At this point we don't know what to do but just recommend that you guys don't use Terminix and use another company instead.

Signed up for Terminix for 3 months spray, so far so good. Have not seen any spiders or ants. I also had them put the things around the house for termites. I have heard good things about Terminix. I had a problem with ants, they came out and sprayed, about 2 weeks later I seen them again. Terminix came out and sprayed again, no charge because they guarantee their work. We cancelled our monthly stuff because we got so disgusted with them for not showing when they were supposed to. In the past years that we had monthly stuff, the guys who do the spraying were fine. It was with the office locally, and scheduling, and the people that worked the telephone thing doing it. When you call, all you get is somebody in Phoenix, Arizona or Florida or somewhere else who doesn’t know anything about you. You can’t get in touch with local people, and that’s a big problem. But then they gave us such a good price for the termite inspection, we went back to them.
Our recent appointment with Terminix was set up for a specific time. Instead of asking me to schedule it, they schedule it and told me and they didn’t ask if it’s convenient or not, so we made arrangements to be here. The time came and went, the guy didn’t show up until later that afternoon. He said he had called but he could find no record of where he had called when he told us. That was an improvement from the other services we’ve had with them. Last year, we had three different appointments scheduled for termite inspection that they scheduled for us. They did it by phone, they did it by email and followed up on it. Nobody showed for all three. There was nobody we could call and get in touch with who could do anything. We are unhappy with them.

We've been on a plan with Terminix where we pay them and they continue to come out as long as we continue to see things but at first, they came out once a week. Recently, my parent’s property has been having problems with bugs. It’s not totally gone yet and so, they're coming out again next week. Scheduling a service with Terminix has been fine so far. There were a couple of times where I called the company number and it was more difficult. But once I got the number of the actual technician, it has been smooth. With the company, they would say that I have an appointment and it was never on the technician’s schedule or it got moved and we didn’t get notified. So, early on, we had a couple of problems but being able to communicate directly with the technician has been way better.
The technicians have been great. The guy who came out initially was an inspector and then, we started receiving the service with the guys who spray. It was a different person the first time but the remainder of the visits to the home have been a very specific individual. It's been the same one since and he has been awesome. When I was working with the call center, I sometimes get email notifications of an upcoming appointment but majority of the time, I don’t. The main call center of Terminix needs to communicate better with their local office. Also, the scheduling system needs to be looked at and evaluated for improvement.

I’ve been with Terminix for less than six months now and I’m very satisfied with their quality of work so far and I should’ve started long ago. The technicians answer any question I have and even suggest items and programs that they have coming up, so it has been very helpful to us. The customer service reps are very polite and I appreciate it. We were dealing with mice issues and since we started with the service, I don’t see anything around, nor any of the little egg droppings anymore. I would recommend others to try Terminix.

If I could give them zero stars, I would! We signed up with Terminix last year when we moved into our home and the service has been HORRIBLE!!!! Had to call and complain for “services done” where I’d come home and nothing was (Spider webs, wasp nest etc.) left untouched! BEWARE as they get you to sign contract where they can schedule the appointments whenever they want and just show up! Told them after the first time, I wanted to schedule my service each month. Of course they said they’d make a note and no such note was ever made on my account.
My fiancé traveled a lot for work last year and to have some random man show up unannounced and unauthorized NOT cool!! Imagine if your kids were home alone and somebody was opening your back gate! It was ultimately for my own security that I decided to cancel my service because I called multiple times for them to stop scheduling without my authorization as I wanted to make sure we were BOTH home and they’d still schedule the appointment and come. Then charge you almost $100; I’ve received daily aggressive calls and no one to actually get this matter resolved.
I finally cancelled my service (also have mosquito services with them) and still no resolve. THE WORST customer service experience ever!! DO NOT USE THEM!!! THEY are NOT ethical and do not provide services ethically!! False charges (no evidence) of the service (they say they did). Tried to get ahold of a branch manager here with no luck but I have spoken to a manager in Scottsdale and he was beyond rude, aggressive and again NOT helpful!! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

We have been using Terminix for years for two properties we own. We could not be happier. Our technician is the best. Omar lets us know when he is on his way and once here he is very efficient and friendly. Always asks if there is anything else we may need. He does an excellent job treating the outside of our homes. My daughter-in-law and son had Terminix, and I’ve been using the company for six months. At first, I saw some roach bugs, but Irving, the technician, sprayed extra time and we got rid of the fleas out back. Then, all of a sudden, the roach bugs came in and we got rid of them as well. I haven't seen any roach bugs in a while and since the service, the pest activity has been good. Irving does well and I like him. He’s such a sweetheart.

I have Terminix on two properties and they come quarterly. For my primary residence, their tech knows usually what to do. He comes in, does his thing and he leaves, so I don’t really need to be here. For my second property, I have a tenant that lives there and I've asked Terminix numerous times to automatically schedule the service in the morning because that's the only time that the tenant can do it. She has kids. But they always try to do it in the afternoon, so I end up having to call back and reschedule and I always ask them if they can put it in their notes but it is always not there. This last time, Barbara from the Santa Fe Springs office called and she threatened me that I had to get the service in within the quarter or they would cancel my services. Other than that, the Terminix guys are always great whenever they come out. I'd recommend this company.

Terminix calls or emails me to schedule the service. If I call the guy that comes locally to do my service, I have excellent communication. We can see if the time is not convenient or make schedule changes. If I call the 1-800 for Terminix, it's very annoying and difficult. I used to be able to call and talk with them if there needed to be any changes. But it got to where you had to call the 1-800 number, and I could sit eternity. I can leave a message but I never know if what I've tried to get done is done or not. So I try my very best not to have to call 1-800 Terminix. I call the local guy and deal with him.
There was one guy that came regularly for several years but he was killed in a car wreck. When he was replaced, the first guy was not reliable. They would say he would be here at a certain time, but he would not be. A second guy was hired, but he was not much better. The third guy that they’ve had now is very good. He's very reliable. I've also had attic insulation put in, and Terminix did a very good job. They were very careful not to make a mess. I also had plastic under the house, and they also did a good job with that. The guy that did the vents on the outside did a very good job as well.

I asked for an appointment online. They were supposed to call me for an appointment. No call. Came home today and got an email that my pest service had been performed! They sprayed chemicals on my yard that my grandchildren can’t walk in. I didn’t even want my yard treated. All I wanted was someone to check my house for carpet beetles. I will NEVER use Terminix again. I’m very careful about chemicals and have a garden. Now I won’t be able to plant anything without chemicals being on them. I’m very upset. And they billed me!

Original Review: I had Terminix for over a year with very good service, however that stopped quickly. Someone, whether it was a customer rep or my service technician decided to change my indoor service to outdoor service. They began not calling to tell me they were coming to my home and just show up and spray outside. I called to complain and request a refund for my last service call, but after careful deliberation on the manager's part was refused a refund. Needless to say, I have canceled the service. Poor communication skills and noncaring managers.

We have been using Terminix services for over 14 years. The technicians are professional and extremely knowledgeable about all phases of their jobs. Terminix termite control is very effective in our area and they use the most up-to-date termite monitoring available. Their moisture control services are also up-to-date and effective to eliminate mold and excessive moisture from our crawlspace. The Terminix pest control will keep the home insect free with as little effort as putting down a pesticide barrier around the exterior of the home. Prices are reasonable. Their products work. Their technicians will work with you to protect the home.

I've had Terminix for many, many years and they do their job well. I don't find any bugs inside, so that part is not treated. I have dogs and am notified in advance when they'll be here so I can make sure they're inside. Charles is conscientious and timely. I don't see too many spiders or ants. I have a quarterly contract; but, if needed between quarters all I have to do is call and they'll be back out. I appreciate their efforts.

I decided to use Terminix last year. They started out strong but each month came a new service tech who knew nothing about my business. When the 3rd new service tech showed up I told him (Dathan) that I no longer wished to have their service. I asked him how I should proceed. He was very apologetic and said he would take care of it. When I received a bill the next month I called and spoke to management. They asked me to fill out an email with specifics (I never received an email from these folks and they have continued to bill me for another 3 months). I have called and spoke to them in several occasions only to be verbally abused and now they have sent it to a credit agency. I say be very careful about dealing with these folks. I would not use Terminix. Just my 2 cents.

I had worried from the time we moved here about the possibility of termites on the property. Last fall I decided to call Terminix. When the guy came out, he gave us the free inspection, with the happy result being: no evidence of any termite activity. This was good news, so I decided to keep our house permanently free from the little chewing pests by purchasing their termite elimination service. Later, the serviceman came out and planted about a dozen termite traps, which he then would inspect every couple of months. There has been no termite activity since then.
They also do home maintenance work. Our home is on a crawl space with 8 X 14 vent windows. It got cold down there during the winter, which kept our floors cold. Terminix offers aluminum window vents that close automatically when the temperature reaches about 50 degrees. We had these installed, and this was the warmest we have ever been during the winter. The windows work fine and the price was right. Thanks, Terminix, for two jobs well done!

Terminix comes out here twice a year to do the inspection for termites. They would normally send me an email saying it’s time to have the inspection. Then I indicate when I’m gonna be home and they schedule it. The tech was very friendly and since Terminix takes care of any damage, I’m not too worried and in no need to follow him around and if they find something, the’ll take care of it. They’ve done a good job and I’m satisfied with them.

I've been with Terminix for about four or five years now and the only thing I have left with them right now is the termite protection. I had the pest control stuff before, but I canceled it last year. I also had the one for mosquitoes, but I canceled it, too. I didn't feel they were very reliable and I didn't think they took it really seriously. However, I decided to keep the termite service because the house was treated before we bought it for ground termites and I wanna keep that agreement current.

Terminix' technicians have been very professional. However, we had a miscommunication about where the traps should be placed. One trap was placed in an area where an animal could get to it and get hurt. But we got it straightened out. I haven’t seen any mice or mice droppings for quite some time since we started using Terminix.

Terminix strikes again. I cancelled my service in January. A few days later they sent a tech out to spray my house. I cancelled my service again thinking I had not given them enough notice since they only came a few days later. I got an email last week saying they would be at my house on the 29th... My OLD house, mind you, since I moved two days after they last sprayed my house in January (why I cancelled in the first place). I called them immediately, sat on hold for over 30 minutes, and cancelled my service a third time.
I got an email again today saying they would come out next week to spray my house. I signed online and spoke with the chat tech in order that I would have an emailed record of the conversation. Halfway through discussing the matter, after two short, terse responses from the tech, the tech dropped off and stopped responding at all.
Prior to this specific issue I had Terminix for 2 years. Every. Single. Time. They came to spray I would have to call them back out no less than a few weeks later due to them doing a completely inadequate job in the first place. If they even did anything at all the first time. Please learn from my mistakes and use ANY OTHER company to service your home.

We live back to the woods and have a lot of insects coming from the backyard. And we wanted to keep it under control. Terminix's prices are competitive and scheduling services with them have been very good. Their people are very proactive about scheduling and reach out to warn me when the technician is coming over to treat the property. The technicians they've sent have been pretty good. But I wish the visits are all when I'm around the house so I could see what is going on, but our schedules are not always synchronized. I would also like Terminix to use more environment-friendly products that wouldn't be harmful to my pets. I would like my pets to freely go outside, but there are some things that you have to compromise on. Still, I'm very satisfied with Terminix.

We've been using Terminix for three years and scheduling for their service is all good. There were roaches in my kitchen and in my cabinets, and I appreciated that Terminix helped us with that. Their techs were good and very polite. They listened to what I wanted and did a good job. I like their service. Recently, the tech from Terminix sprayed the outside and since we have some rodents, he put some traps on the attic. But he hasn't come back to get them. Nevertheless, the experience was good and the tech was very kind and supportive.

I’ve had Terminix service for about three years and I had a technician who did my service. He was great but he left. The person that replaced him was a problem and he made it very difficult. I had to come from New York City up to my vacation home to where the service was conducted. He wasn’t available when I could be there. He would call me and warn me that my service was due that month and was uncooperative about whether or not I could be there on site.
This went on for quite a while and then I got into trouble with Terminix. My contract was a quarterly service but I wasn’t having enough service calls a year. So I got in touch with the manager in Albany and he had been great. He assigned a new person to me. The new service technician is great and my problems have been resolved because two people have been more cooperative. It's been a wonderful experience and they did a great job.

We've had the service with Terminix for a long time and their techs come every month for a routine visit. We do not schedule anything unless we see something out of the ordinary. We normally don't have any pest activity in the area and if we see anything, it's already dead, which is a blessing. Normally, there are just bugs from outside that came in. The tech, Roger, is always polite and very informative when he comes. If I ask him any questions, he doesn't hesitate to help me out and let me know what's going on around here. He's always very helpful.

I was enrolled into automatic visits and charges without anyone telling me, now I want to cancel and they want to charge me early cancellation fees. However the visit was fine and they did help me the 1st time, when the tech arrived the 2nd time that was when I found out about this automatic sign up. Not very good customer service, they should inform customers about this type of things.

I love Terminix, they would come every couple of months to treat us for ant and roaches. If we had any problems between the services they would come out and treat it free of charge. I love them. The only reason we don't have them now is because we moved to an appointment complex and the place has someone who comes every month to spray.

I've had Terminix Pest Control Services for our home for 10 years. They recently came out to do the routine annual checkup and they did find some issues for us to address and take care of. They found that there was a leaky faucet that could cause a potential problem. It could contribute to the pest problem. And on some siding on the house on one spot, they found some wood rot. And they said that should be addressed too.
It has been real easy scheduling or rescheduling a service with Terminix and their technicians have been very friendly and very professional. When we first moved here, there were ants and that have been alleviated. We’ve only had a couple earwigs here and there or a couple spiders inside the house, but nothing big at all ever since we’ve had them. I also I found a big old ant nest as I was weeding out in the front yard by the street and they sprayed it when they came out the next time. Pests in our home are now near non-existent.

Terminix was the first ones who offered the termite bond and they've been very good with scheduling. They come out every three months, and they come when they say they're gonna come. I have been with them for at least 10 years now and I’ve got termite protection, rodent coverage and pest control. It’s a routine service and they stay on top of it. The tech was here yesterday and he sent me a report through an email. Overall, the technicians are very professional, cordial and do a good job. I’m happy.

We've had Terminix for about 15 to 17 years. We have a termite control plan with them. We only have a few bugs in our home and that’s because we live in the woods, and my husband go through and spray for pest around the house. But as far as in the yard, we just have ants. We do have creatures out in the yard but they don’t go towards the house. So far, they have already gone through and done the termite thing. They come out every six months. In fact, they were just recently out here for a routine check. They'd call us and tell us when they're coming and if I had to reschedule a service with them, our experience has been wonderful. Their technicians have been wonderful too. The last time they came out, they went through the attic and they were looking for bugs and animals nesting up in the attic, and they had never done that before. The guy was very thorough.

Terminix canceled my contract after I was told by an agent on the 1-800 number that I had until April to pay my other half of my payment. The excuse they gave was because I was in the Gulf Coast Region that the rules were different here and that after 45 days of nonpayment the computer automatically canceled my contract. I sent in my first 153.00 in February and was scheduled to pay my next $153.00 in March but they had already canceled my contract, but still accepted and kept my half payment of 153.00. I was a customer with Terminix since 2011 and I guess they don't care about that because I could not get the Baton Rouge manager to return my phone calls. The Baton Rouge rep came out to try and sell me a new contract at a discounted price and I told him if I am going to start all over it will not be with Terminix. I have a new contract with another company.

We have always had great service from Terminix! I always get a notice when we are due for service. They are always accommodating to our schedule. We have had their pest service for several years. We have also used them for having insulation added to the attic. They have also done free termite inspections. With each service the technicians have been very professional and friendly. I found Terminix on the internet and they were local. I contacted them because we had a big infestation of ladybugs that attacked our house in the fall. Their technicians came out and helped with that. That was pretty well taken care of. I then signed on to have a routine service with Terminix. Every so many months, they come out and do a maintenance. I've been with them for six months now and everything I know about them is fine. Their technicians are nice people and they've been very professional. They've done a good job. I wasn't there when they did their last treatment but I saw the bill so I assume they did the treatment okay. People should give Terminix a try.

My neighbor across the street recommended Terminix. I also got them and had my service scheduled quarterly. I also call them in case I need to make an appointment change and it's easy. I had a carpenter bee problem and I called Terminix. The bees are there during the summer and Terminix treats them. But those bees always find their way back somehow. So far, my experience with Terminix has been good but their price has gone up $5, $10 each service over the years. I wish they are a little cheaper but other than that, I'm satisfied.

I've been contracting with Terminix for several years and I'm pretty happy. I have a quarterly service with them and when I had to reschedule service, it was very easy. I spoke with a rep that time but I know now that I can do that online. I've had fantastic interactions with their technicians too. I get a notice when a tech is coming out. If I'm going to have the tech come into the house, I'd be home. Otherwise, they just do the application outdoors. Any questions that I asked, they always answered and they were really professional. I've been in the property for a little over 10 years and with Terminix, I've noticed a huge decrease in pest activity. There is a little bit of activity in the spring and fall, but nothing like they used to be. One should definitely consider Terminix if one lives in an area where insects are highly likely.

We've been a client for 30 years so you can see we are pleased with our monthly service and technicians that have serviced our home. We did have a slight problem with the supervisor when we had our termite treatment, when we came back after 2 days the supervisor didn't wait for us to discuss the treatment. Unfortunately we found out why all our ceiling fans were left on which Terminix assured us they would supply their own fans, our living fan was on the floor broken, we had to contact the office to let them know. I signed up with Terminix about 30 years ago and we haven’t had termites since they first came out. Their tech usually stops in and lets me know, and he's smiling and happy coming in. He tells me that if I have any questions, I could let him know. He does his business and bids me a fair howdy and goodbye and off he pleasantly goes. I’d recommend them to anybody.

I’ve been with Terminix for a long time for pest control. They come every three months and scheduling with them is not a problem. However, they raised the rates and I’m not happy about that. I’m looking at going elsewhere. Also, I’m always seeing new technicians and that doesn’t seem too heartwarming but other than that, dealing with them has been okay.

We've been using Terminix for a year and a half now. We have a quarterly maintenance with them and our recent experience has been good. The technician would call me when it’s time for my appointment and he has been very nice and friendly. Since the service, our home has been perfect.

My Terminix service is scheduled for me already, so my technician sends me a text every time that he’s coming out. That’s great. And he would let me know, “I’m supposed to come there tomorrow.” He gives me a couple of days notice. He’s very friendly and wonderful. We had a weird moth problem last year and a weird ant problem before that. So, every time he comes out here and treats, sometimes it takes two treatments depending on the type of bugs. But it’s gone very quickly. He’s very prompt. When he says he'll be here, he will be here. And he comes in and knows exactly what to do and is very knowledgeable. I’m very pleased with their service.

Because of their reputation, I started to work with Terminix 5 months ago as I had had some termites in my house. I called them up and they scheduled. The sales rep was easy, straightforward, gave me lots of information. Then a guy came out like he was supposed to. He sprayed and everything was good. He wasn't very talkative and he just got in, got the work, and got out. He came back a week later to put in the day traps. Recently, he came out and did the in-ground subterranean spray. He also put the baits around the outside of the house. So, I haven't gotten any of their spray service until the termites, and I'm assuming the termite problem is gone.

Scheduling with Terminix is easy and their techs are very timely. They always call or text ahead to let me know if they’re en route and everything is good. When I first initially contacted them, I had an issue but since having the service, the pest activity here has been low. Also, Terminix keeps up on everything. If I see something, they come out right away. I've been with them since 2003 and with the good service, I stuck with them.

Terminix is a national company. I knew that they would be there if I call them for all sorts of different things. I had seen their advertising too which kinda helped me choose them. The lady who came out was very knowledgeable and she got us signed up. I've been with Terminix close to two years now. Their technicians came out every month whether we were here or not. They checked the traps and all that kind of stuff. The first technician who came out was really nice. He was courteous and he told me what he needed to do. I asked him what I needed to do and he said, "Nothing." He then went about doing what he was supposed to do.
I called Terminix out because one evening I could see a swarm of termites flying around. That went on for two days. The technicians came out and I haven't seen any termites flying around the light outside in the springtime. Also, Terminix has taken care of some other pest over in the area. I haven't seen too many wasps around. My daughter-in-law called me and she wanted to know how everything went with Terminix. I said it was fine and for her to give them a call. Terminix would send somebody out to do an inspection and get her signed up. That was a couple of weeks ago.

I've been using Terminix since 2017. 2017 to 2018 was pretty good and their technician came. But one time, I called him and he said that he already finished the service. But I was at home so I called him and asked where he was. He then said he just kind of documented the service earlier but he was on his way to my home. He came in later and did the treatment. Since then, I was a little bit suspicious of everything. I just try to schedule a treatment whenever I'm home so we wouldn't have any kind of miscommunication.
Their technician was okay but I wasn't very happy with the way he did the service. We had some wasps and the nest was a little bit of high on the outside. He said that he couldn't treat that because he didn't have the tool and the ladder to get that high enough to take out the wasps' nests. But if I paid the money for the services then they should be able to do that. That's why last year when I renewed the service, I requested for a different person. Terminix did that but I ended up not getting any treatment. I didn't realize the treatment like if their technician was coming. In October, Terminix kept asking me to pay the money again. I paid it in August and I made the one-time payment for the annual payment. But someone called every month and I was still getting the bill. They said I had to pay as I got the service. I kept on calling them every month and finally, I thought it was resolved.
In late October, I had some mice problem so I called Terminix. A gentleman came and he was very nice. He put two baits in the house and it kind of took care of the problem. Afterward, I was kind of thinking I never got other treatments. I called Terminix for the treatment and they called me. There was a payment issue again. I just didn't understand why. Finally, I got the last one and the billing question was resolved. They scheduled for a pest control treatment. I was told the technician was coming on a particular day and I got an email too. One time I got an email but the person didn't show up. I thought they might be busy. I didn't have a pest control problem then and I thought that if the technician didn't come, I was okay. I didn't have time to deal with them.
While I was checking on my account, I saw that I had a treatment coming up on a certain date. But I did not get an email confirmation. I thought I would just wait and see if Terminix might send me the email or they would call because in 2017 they usually called me or sent me an email or text. On the scheduled day of the treatment, I was at home and I waited the whole day. They initially said it was between 10:00 to 12:00. By 1 o'clock, I didn't see anybody. And then something popped up on the computer saying the treatment was finished and that I had a ticket and everything. But nobody ever left any copy on my door if they did knock on the door and I missed it or didn't hear anything. Plus, I have a dog outside. I didn't hear any dog barking so I didn't think I missed anybody.
I called Terminix and I was told that there must have been a miscommunication and that they could reschedule somebody. Since then I thought to forget it and that I was not gonna use Terminix anymore. If they were just trying to charge me for the services they were not doing even though they were showing up for the services, I didn't think it was right. In October and November, I got a bill but I never got a copy and there was a charge. I feel like I might have been cheated on the treatment since nobody ever showed up for the treatment.
The last time I called Terminix it was the day they were supposed to come for a service. The local manager called and he wasn't very patient in really trying to help me resolve the problem. I'm very disappointed with the technician, services and why Terminix treated a customer the way they did. It was unbelievable. I had a really bad experience and I just wanted to discontinue my service. I requested from Terminix to just give me my money back but they didn't want to do that. I don't know how I'm gonna approach it from here. I'm really frustrated. I'm just scared to call anybody because I have to have at least two hours time to deal with them. I also don't want to be really angry dealing with them.

We thought we had bedbugs last July so we called Terminix to schedule an appointment with a technician. I set an appointment, the Technician called me to say that his car broke down so we’d have to reschedule. I said no problem but should’ve known right then that he’d be worthless. Scheduled again, he showed up, looked around but didn’t touch a thing. Didn’t lift a mattress, a sofa cushion, nothing. We showed him a few bugs we’d collected in a ziplock back that we found behind the headboard and he instantly said “yep you have bedbugs.” Gave us a quote of about $1000 to treat.
Thank God we got a second quote, by a technician with another company who thoroughly checked mattresses, cushions, electrical socket outlets and found no bedbugs but instead a few carpet beetles and who saved us $1000 and who also told us it was against the law to treat for bedbugs when they are not there. We also had a 5 month old at the time and we’re not advised of any risk factors that any chemicals could have on our new baby. Overall we had a lazy and uneducated Terminix technician.

I saw something that looked like a termite inside the house and it was leaving mud trails. I contacted Terminix and it turned out that what I saw wasn't a termite. But that got me thinking to better protect, and now I have a regular schedule with Terminix. Scheduling is easy. They let me know what date they have in mind and I disagree with it or not. They make changes.
They send out the tech Jeffrey who's a very happy-going guy, and he's good to talk to. He is very sharp with what he does and does an excellent job. I've been using Terminix service for four or five years now, and I haven't seen any pests since their most recent service. I saw a tiny bug on the floor in the downstairs bathroom this morning, but it didn't last very long either. Terminix is a good company, and they have a good product. It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

I already had the termite traps with Terminix and I just went with the same company for pest control and so far, this is my third quarter with them. Last week, their tech stopped out for a quarterly inspection. They sent me an email when they were gonna do an inspection, when they were on their way and when they were done, and the process seemed smooth to me. So far, the pest control seems to be working,

Working with Terminix has been very good. We’ve gotten the attention we need whenever we’ve had a problem. We’re seasonal here and their technicians come out every two months. They notify us when they’re coming out, then they come out and do outside. We’re in Florida and big cockroaches come in for water. But the spray that they put outside takes care of them. They wind up inside a lot of times, but that is because it takes a little while for the spray to kill them. If we’re here and have a problem on the inside, we mention it and they come in and take care of that. Most recently, their technician came out and did the spraying. We had ants inside and he put down some traps for that. He told us how to keep the traps fresh. It was a good experience.

I've been using Terminix for about seven months now. I normally call their number and schedule an appointment for them to come out. Bambi is our technician and she is really nice. I love when she comes out and spray the house. Most recently, she sprayed outside the house for bugs. It was a pretty good experience. It's been pretty good since the service and I haven't seen any pests so far.

We have regularly scheduled service with Terminix and setting up the schedule is very easy to do. When the tech comes, I interact with him quite a lot. I go around with him to the different spots where he has traps and bait stations. He explains what he does and his knowledge is excellent. For me, Terminix is doing really well.

I had termite and pest control service from Terminix and the interactions I had with their reps had been good. I had a claim one time for a termite getting into the house and they handled the claim really well. I also had a good experience with their technicians. I lived by a field so there was a bit of field mice no matter what, but Terminix seemed to cut it down.

I've always had a Terminix contract in my house. They've always been well-known. Ever since I was a kid, I always hear about Terminix and since then, I have never heard anything negative. So, I might as well go to brand names there. You pay for what you get and I've never had a problem or an issue. I've always had the Terminix for the outside, for termites and stuff and then, I got the in-home protection service. When they would all call to tell me they would come out or I've seen something, they would come and spray with no problems. They always came when they said they were gonna come and the techs have always been friendly.

We had lots of roaches and it was an issue. We contacted Terminix and scheduling service with them has been fine. We have Rich as our tech and we like that he really cares. We're still working on the issue and more recently, we decided that we have to be more aggressive with it. Rick is going to attack the problem once it's warm enough to do it. He keeps in touch with me to make sure if its a good time to come out. Also, when he comes, he actually leaves some extra stuff for me to place around the house while he’s not coming.

I have a contract with Terminix. They were supposed to come out to do quarterly maintenance and preventative measures to make sure that household insects and pests don’t come into the house, and outdoor insects don’t migrate in. I've had a horrible experience with Terminix because during the initial visit, the tech that came in seemed to be a nice person on a personal level, but professionally, I don’t think she was trained to do what she was supposed to have done. Her visit ended in me having to go to the emergency room because of the pesticide that she sprayed in the house. We were not supposed to be home and she didn’t tell us until the end of the visit because she talked about her personal life the first portion of the visit.
The technician seemed to be a bit scattered. I had to assist her in what she was doing like moving things, etc. She was running late for her next appointment so she was trying to hurry up so that she could leave. And on her way out that, she said, “When I come back next week to finish up here, you can't be in the house when I spray this.” Of course, she had all the facial covering, but I thought then that like a nail shop, the techs have it on because they're around it all the time. I also thought that by her being a professional, she would've said that I needed to step out or step away when she was spraying it. But by that time, I was coughing. I didn’t know that it was something that would've been detrimental and definitely was not supposed to be inhaled in being that close proximity to us.
I had a respiratory issue following that because my issue just progressed after evening went on. I did everything over the counter to prevent from going to the emergency room because I didn’t wanna get another bill. But after a couple of days, I couldn’t take it anymore so I had to go to the emergency room and on the way there, I felt so horrible. I contacted Terminix to ask them what was that that the tech sprayed because I was not feeling right and I wanted to tell the doctor what I had come in contact with. They couldn’t believe that she had sprayed the stuff that’s been in the house and didn’t tell us. So that was my first experience with Terminix.
I already had Terminix prior to that about nine or 10 years ago, and there was no issue then. It was fine. That was why I trusted them again. After that incident, I ended up going through a relapse because I have MS. I had to go to the hospital in February in time for my other treatment and the tech guy wanted to do the treatment. I told him that I wasn’t home and he said, “Well, we could just do the outside.” I told him that I prefer to get the matter straightened out before I'll allow them to do anything. He assured me that they wouldn't charge my account until we got everything squared away. He just wanted to go ahead and keep up with the preventative measures only outside to keep the pests at bay. Because they had already started, they wanted to keep the routine check up. However, they ended up charging my account again and they still have not contacted me to do the quarterly treatment on the inside
They contacted me to do the outside to charge me, but they didn’t contact me to come in and do the interior. I've got a lot on my plate, but I do need to contact them to get that done because they told me that they can't cancel my contract because a contractor is a contractor. So, I'm stuck with that. I will have them do the dry powder and none any more of that stuff. So, my experience with them has been rough.
Their managers need to be trained more on customer service and understand that the customers are just not numbers. I know that there's a lot of customers. I know they're busy, but they really do need to understand, that eventually, there's gonna be another company that’s gonna come out that’s going to take the time to take care of their customers and hear the customers out. Competition will feed on their lack of customer service deal.

We had Terminix in the past so when we moved into a new home, we chose to go with them. Our interactions with their customer service reps have been good but we have been having a hard time getting to them. They could improve on how they answer the phones. When we had a problem and we called for service some years ago, we wound up in the Midwest and we could never get a hold of anybody in our local areas. We finally got somebody who told us that they were in the Midwest and did not have any control what the people do in the East Coast. I understood it until finally, we got a hold of somebody in the East Coast and things got straightened out.
We have moved from one old house to another and dealing with everybody has been fine. We call, we get somebody and we talk to them. We are also able to make appointments and the gentleman who has been coming here for the last six years has been very good. Moreover, the technicians who have been out to our home were great and they’ve gone outta their way to help us many times. In the last two years, we have been infested with ants and there is nothing we can do about it. But Terminix has been very good with it and they’ve managed to hold them off or keep them outside and get rid of them.

We started with Terminix at least five years ago and we love the service. They're doing a great job and they should keep doing that. We have a quarterly service with them and if I see anything in-between like a spider, I call them and they come for free to take care of that problem. They do a fantastic job. The technician is really competent, very professional, clean and nice. He knows what he's doing. We get alerted before he shows up so we know he is coming. This is usually the day before and also a few minutes before he shows up on the scheduled day. The pest activity is remarkably down and Terminix is doing a great job of controlling the pest activity. Weeks would go by sometimes when we don't see any bugs, not one bug in the house at all. That's a drastic change for what it was before we started the Terminix service.

I have two services with Terminix. One is for the pest service around the house and the other is in the yard by the play equipment when the grandchildren are going to visit. We have also had them do mosquito spraying, in the summertime, in the back. Everybody at Terminix that I have dealt with has been very professional. Our technician, Steve, comes here quarterly. Since the services, the pest activity has been minimal to virtually none. He is a real asset because of his courteousness and professional behavior. He has been my technician for many years, and I have always been delighted with his service.

The Terminix specialist rescheduled us a couple of times. We still have roaches around. We tried to contact Terminix several times but the appointment was delayed. We are busy at this moment. It’s tax season, so we don’t have time to book appointment to have the specialist come to help us with the roaches. But after tax season, we need to hire them again.

Very happy with Terminix Indoor & Outside for a number of years - we trust them. They do their job 2 or 3 times a year. Their technician calls us about the day & time of our service. I think the chaps name is is Josh and he is very friendly and helpful & he makes the appointment at a convenient time for everyone. We would be happy to recommend our friends to go with Terminix. The first time years ago was for termites and they resolved that issue very quickly. Subsequently the service was straightforward and simple. We explained we thought we had a big problem in the kitchen & that they were an issue and he sprayed - end of problem. Since the service, we have had no problems with pest activity.

Our house had a very minimal issue with bedbugs because they were caught early, per Terminix’s inspection. I signed up for treatment, ordered their encasements for our beds & 90 days later with regular treatment from them still had bed bugs. STILL have bedbugs even after their 90 day guarantee. Never didn’t have bedbugs even with their guarantee. Do NOT buy into their guarantee and pay them the 700$ that I did because it did NOTHING but wasted my money.

I've had Terminix service for three or four years and everything has been good. The techs are professional and to the point. Usually, they are on par with everything I need. I’m never home when they come but I usually get their little sticker on my door or the little envelope saying that they’ve been there. Everything has been working and I don’t see any bug activity, ants or any of the activity that I used to have. Terminix delivers what they say they deliver. I’ve been worry-free and that’s the best thing. We don’t have a lot of coordination to do at times, so it’s nice to have a fire-and-forget kind of service.

I have Terminix come to our home quarterly and the tech has been great. He goes out of his way to let me know he is coming because their system is automated. The frustrating thing is the customer service at Terminix just sends a text message or an email that says, "We’ll be there tomorrow." My wife and I both travel and I've asked them to call and schedule a time, but they tell me their system doesn’t allow for that. But the tech knows that it is frustrating for us, so he reaches out individually. I've been getting the home done for 20 years, so other than the bees outside, I don’t have any pest activity.

Terminix comes to my place on a regular basis. The techs who come have been coming out on schedule. They call before they get here and let me know when they're leaving. They're very courteous as well. Over the years, Terminix has been controlling pest activity through a preventive thing pretty well.

I called them recently for ants in the kitchen and they’ll be coming on Saturday. Also, the tech is great. I’ve always had the service and I’m satisfied. I don’t have a lot of bugs in my house and that’s the goal.

We have used Terminix for 4 years and have had a great experience with our representative. Bill always calls several days in advance of treatment to make sure that it is convenient time for us. He always asks if we have any specific concerns. Bill always answers my questions and addresses any concerns I have. Bill is prompt and notifies us if he will be delayed. Terminix is not the lowest priced vendor but they perform their services very well and are consistent. We have been using them since 1995. They have good systems and follow-up procedures. Their warranty is excellent.

I bought my house in 1990 and started using Terminix then, and I've used them every year since. They do about seven applications a year and I'm very happy with the service they provide. I call to see if I need anything on the inside. One time, I did and they came in. The rest of the time, it has been the outside perimeter of the house and windows. The technicians who come are excellent and they seem to be controlling the pests.
