    I scheduled the service through the internet and the rep called me within six hours. Terminix did really well on that. They explained everything that they were doing. They found what the problem was, and then they told me that the guy would be out the next day to do the service and put the bait. The guy called me and said he'd be out there at a certain time, and then he showed up at that time. When he showed up, he also said what he was going to do. The experience wasn't time-consuming, but it was very informative. Terminix did very well. I was really impressed.

    Terminix calls to set up an appointment and I also get a text, and then the technician calls a few minutes before he comes out to make sure I'm home. In case I'm not home, I can get somebody else to be there and I like that experience. The technician also lets me know what needs to be done before he gets there so he can get in and out 'cause I don't want to waste anybody's time. He takes pictures and puts it in our report as well. I had great service recently. The technician was very educational and any question I had, he answered very professionally. He even picked up the trash that was around and I love that. I appreciated him for going over and beyond.

    The techs of Terminix are wonderful. They text me before they're going to come a few days. Then, they text me a few minutes out. Then, if I'm not home or if I want to meet them, they have these nice texts on what I prefer. They also have their uniforms neatly pressed and mask too. They're polite and professional. They also leave a report and send it and they text and let me know.

    Their exclusion service is a trap set for customers. They show all the work that needs to be done (2 days worth of work) to sign you up for 2K. Then finish the job in 2 hours and say it's done. They are hard to reach and the finance company SMAC is hard to reach. It's a nightmare to get out of this trap.

    I have been with Adam’s Pest Control for years but they didn't come out but once a year and they just only checked for termites and they didn't do anything else. My sister has had Terminix for years. She was telling me how they came out every three months and sprayed. Terminix also had a better package for me and I appreciate them coming out as fast as they did to try to help me out with those spiders. Sometimes, two or three times a day, I’m seeing spiders. But so far, everything has been okay. They also came out and put the things down for the termites and we haven't seen any of those. The guy that came out was really nice and professional. We had a good time that Saturday morning when he came out.

    The technicians usually come out every three months. Jimmy is very good. I've not seen spiders since the last time we did it. It's just hard to contact Terminix to pay a bill.     The last few times, the technician showed up and said that he communicated with me on my phone or on my email, and it happened to be the same day. It wasn't the day before, so I wasn't home when he came. This last time, I just happened to drive up as his truck was sitting out in front. I got here about the same time he did so I was able to let him in the house. I asked him to spray the inside of the house because I've seen evidence of spiders. He did that and I waited for him to get down, and then I left the house again because he said it has to be two hours before I could go back in. He was a really sweet man. But I'd like him to communicate the day before he comes and not the same day because if I'm not on my email, or on my phone, or if I'm really gone from the house, I won't get that message till it's too late. That's the only problem I have with it. The rest of them have always been very courteous and compliant. I've always been pleased with Terminix.

    Recently, Terminix did a checkup around the house. It's usually a surprise that all of a sudden they're coming and I don't know anything about it in advance, but the technicians are very nice. I've used them for 40 years, and I'm pleased with them. I've used them in every one of my houses and I have them for termites. When I did have them on other properties that I lived in, they did the entire service, and I never had any more problems after that. They're very efficient. I would definitely tell my neighbors that they're good.

    This Company is awful in so many ways. First off the People with Customer Service are useless, incompetent, rude. The Technicians are incompetent and not thorough when they spray in the Home. If the Technician actually shows up they are not thorough. Unless You want to deal with complete overpriced incompetent garbage I would suggest not getting with this Company whatsoever.

    In beginning of the year, I had Terminix calling me at 10 o'clock in the morning that they were coming at 1 o'clock, but there was nobody there. I had a guy do this several times to me, and nobody came out and inspected the house. Finally, I paid the bill and I got a call from a guy who scheduled an appointment the next Monday. He came out and did the inspection. He was a nice and courteous guy, he was efficient and he cleaned up after himself.

    Do NOT use this company. I would give negative stars if possible. My family and I have had a terrible experience. We discovered we had bed bugs in our house and called Terminix to treat it. The tech suggested tenting and fumigation to make sure the bed bugs were completely eliminated. We agreed and he gave us an appt 3 weeks away. The day of the tenting the crew shows up and they say due to the roof being too steep they would not be doing the tenting that day. They said they would come back the next day with a crane to finish the job. They did not show up the next day nor did anyone tell me what was going on. My family and I were staying at a hotel at this point over 20 miles away.

    Since they didn't do the job on either day, I've tried reaching out to them to find out what's going on and the only person that has responded to me was the tech and he didn't know what was going on either. He let me know he had put in a request for them to call me but would be fired if he gave out supervisors' or managers' phone numbers. On the following Monday, a full 6 days after the tenting was supposed to happen the tech said he had to talked to his supervisor and they were only going to offer me a credit for the hotel and a future date of July 1st. A full 10 days away at that time and still charge me full price for the tenting and I'd still have to pay for another hotel.

    I have a number of animals (goats, chickens and a cockatoo) that live outside on my property and I had to go back each day to give them food and water. They offered nothing in regards to the inconvenience of having to drive 20 miles each way (there are no hotels close to my house) to get back to my house to take care of them and basically wasted 3 nights at a hotel for nothing. No tenting or fumigation and I still have bed bugs. Terminix management has made no effort to contact me directly and have made it impossible to get ahold of them.

    I have bait stations with Terminix. The guys came out and did a check of all my bait stations. They protect me against subterranean termites. They spent about 20 minutes and said everything was fine. But I was concerned that I did not get a notification that they were coming. They never called me to let me know they were coming. But because they were outside, and I happened to be here, it didn't present a problem.

    The other service that I have with them is interior service. They come in once a year and do the inspection. But I had a major problem a few years ago. I had termite damage in my floors because the guy had not done a good inspection in my crawlspace because there were pockets. The termites had the little tunnels, and they ate away at my dining room hardwood floor. Terminix did come out and replace it but it was tough to get your floors back like they were when you have a replacement.

    I signed up to use Terminix for pest control. When I signed up for the service it was stated that I could cancel at anytime. First, I called their customer service number and had to leave messages and it was 2 weeks prior to hearing back from the company. Second, I call to cancel the service and I am told about a cancellation fee, which turns out is the entire balance of a year contract which was never disclosed. I was told I could cancel at anytime. This is terrible business and I will never use their service again. What a disappointment.

    Our main problem was ants. We called Terminix and the guy came out right away. He was very nice and good. But the person that I talked to when I scheduled the service told me totally different than when the guy came out here to actually do the service.     It's hard to get to them. I have to go through the 800 number if I wanted to make an appointment. But there's an office in my town. So, I've gotten to know the technician really well. I just contact him and then he makes the appointment through the office. The pests and the rodents are gone. So, I'm very happy with that. Just within the last month, there’s a tenant in this rental property. They brought in some roaches and they didn't tell us. It got out of hand before we knew the problem. As soon as I knew they were there, I called Terminix. We’ve got a contractor and the fellow was out within the day. He has been coming every couple of weeks because they’re really bad.

    Terminix came out for a routine pest control, which I get done quarterly. Jonathan, the tech, is one of the better ones. I like him. The last time, I told him to make sure that he removes the cobwebs and to spray for spiders. I have a plant collection and I told him that I need to make sure to be very careful when spraying in the back and so far, the others have and he has, so I'm happy with them.

    Terminix did a $2,000 retrofit in my basement for pests. I've invested quite a bit of money with them. One time they sent a billing to renew my service, which I did not know was only for rodent control. The head office told me that I'm covered and everything's fine and so I waited for the technician to arrive. When he got here, he said I was not covered for that service so we'd have to write a contract. That was a lot, a little bit odd, and I didn't fully understand. If only they could be just a little bit clearer like I'm covered for insect and pests for a year or I'm just covered for rodents. Sometimes they make their language or their contracts a little too complicated.

    Then I had to get rid of a rodent the last time myself after Scotty was here. He didn't set a trap for it. But I think it's gone now. It would be interesting if the technicians and the scheduling staff got a little bit more coordinated. Sometimes, they send one thing, and then something else comes up when the technician comes up. That's my only concern. However, when they do the things that they're supposed to do, it works really great. I'd still recommend Terminix. But there are still things to improve.

    Long ago, Terminix came and inspected. They treated the termites and found another issue. It was a post beetle that was in the old support beams in the basement and they treated that too. They've come regularly to check the traps. About a month and a half ago, my wife noticed some ants. I called them and they came right out. Now, the technician texted they would be here tomorrow and I appreciated that. They would also text about an hour or two from getting here and say they're on the way, and then always give feedback of what they found. We haven't noticed any termites since that treatment, so that's a good thing. I'm pretty pleased with them.

    I've used Terminix in the past, and I decided I want to use them again. I never had any problems with them. They've done the job very well, and I've been pleased with them.     Generally, I'm not home when someone from Terminix comes. So, we usually communicate before they come. They'll call to tell me that they're coming, what day they're coming and what time. The day of, I get the little emails or text saying they're on the way. Then when they finish, they put the little notice about what they did while they were there with pictures. So, it works great for me.

    I started getting service with Terminix as soon as I moved into the house almost 12 years ago. I've always used them the whole time I've been there. Everybody that I've dealt with has always been really friendly and professional. Even when I do happen to be home when they come, they always try and knock when they get here to see if I'm home and let me know they're here.

    Sometimes it's frustrating to try and get through when scheduling for service. It asks me if I wanted to be called back and sometimes that works but sometimes it doesn't. And sometimes, it routes me through a couple of different people until it gets me to my local branch. We just added the mosquito treatment and after the initial treatment, we could tell there was a big difference. But we had a lot of rain and rescheduling somebody to come back out has been difficult. Also, the people who come out are great when we're on site but getting feedback is difficult. If we're not there, they'd say they were done and what the treatment was but if we have a follow-up question, we don't ever get a response. But other than that, we liked everybody.

    The gentleman I scheduled my service with was really informative, asked me if I had any other questions, and gave me the contact information of the person that was coming out. The tech made sure he called to say he was on his way and when he showed up, he sprayed all the areas and asked if there was anything specific that we needed to be sprayed. Also, he gave us something for our attic. He saw that it was old insulation and he gave us a little information on where some of the bugs might be coming from and why.     We have three accounts with Terminix and with two of them, the person in charge does quarterly inspections and service and they do a very good job. The third account we have offers annual inspections and they're adequate. The techs tell you when they’re coming and what the window is going to be. Then, they tell you that they're on their way and they introduce themselves with a name and a picture. And when they get there, they're very professional and when they leave, they send a report of what they did and what they found. Their service keeps the pests at bay and we're pleased with that.

    It's very easy to schedule service with Terminix. They are on top of it every three months and if we have a problem, I just call and they're right back out within days. During covid, we had a different technician probably because of everything that was going on. But they always call right before. They always have badges so I know that it’s truly them. They always let me know afterwards what they did. Having the service, there have been less spiders and I have barely ever seen roaches, which is good.

    The experience is a little bit better but generally speaking, it's hit-and-miss with Terminix. One of the reasons is I have two different plans with them. I'm confused what the names of the plans are to start with. Further, I don't thoroughly understand what each of the plans cover and what they're responsible for. Is the individual who shows up at the property only responsible to do an inspection of the bait traps or is he also responsible to do an eyeball on the structure to determine whether or not termites have in fact entered the structure?

    The other plan that I have says pest control. The individual goes around the building and sprays insecticide under the eaves of the building and on the ground around the foundation. That's all I see them do. There's a crawl space which I would want them to enter and take a look under there periodically to see if there are any carpenter ants, for example. I had to ask a technician to go into the crawl space and check underneath. He said he determined that there was carpenter ant activity and that he put down insecticide. That property is not always occupied and the technician shows up when it's not always occupied. I have no way of determining whether or not that individual, in fact, did everything that I think that they should do.

    I have never received from Terminix a specified list of tasks to be accomplished in a visit for either of the two plans. If I'm expected to supervise these technicians because they never show up with a boss, I need a checklist. I'd also like to know in a documented fashion what each of these plans specifically covers. When I speak with the person on the 800 number, they use a terminology for each of the two plans. It used to be different from what was specified on the website. Also, the website is atrocious. It's got to be amongst the worst websites I've ever used in my 40 years of using websites and I go back to the beginnings of the internet when it was really crappy. If there was a competitor in the area that I could get ahold of, I would use them, site unseen. That's how annoyed I am with Terminix. Last time I made a complaint, I got a call from somebody from the office in Newberg and he was telling me everything he had to do and what his problems were.

    I've been a Terminix customer for 30 years and the quarterly technicians have mostly been great. I really like the ones right now. My home Terminix person calls me, comes, does her job, and always asks me if I need anything extra. She seems thorough and has been consistent. It seems like I had a lot of different people for a while that it's so much better when it's consistent.

    The quarterly visits seem to be working well. We live out in the country and we have mega amounts of pests that they have under control now. We had added on to our house and we're having stinging scorpions all over the place for a while. Terminix came back and re-treated and helped us get to the point where we could live here without running into scorpions. We also have a commercial account and at this time, it's working fine too. There have been problems over time, but this particular technician calls and we set a time because we don't live at our shop. Through this year, we've only been there one day a week. That's been good that he knows to call.

    I stopped the annual termite inspection because that guy kept saying he had been there and he never met me. He did the last one but by then, I was through with them. I didn't think it was thorough. The annual inspections are certainly not very thorough compared to what they used to be when they came and looked at different things. Now, they just kind of walk around and say, "Yeah, it's fine." It has offended my sensibilities to be charged that much money and have that little time or the couple of times when I think they didn't even come at all, or they drove by the house and couldn't get in.

    Rafael is the best. He does the pest control inside and outside of my house. Also in the summertime, he does the mosquito service. When I get a text message for my appointment, it will remind me that the technician will go to my house the following day and to please open the gate from what time to what time. The next day, when Rafael is on his way, he would send me a message and the map to where he was and then how many minutes he will get here. After that, he rings the doorbell and starts to do his job. When he finishes, he just knocks at the door. The next thing is I get sent the statement by email.

    I do the mosquito service for every month and the pest control is done every three months. If I see any cockroach or ants, we can call for extra service without a charge. Sometimes, I see one cockroach, but I don't contact Terminix because of the pandemic. I skipped service for a year. Apart from that, I have recommend Terminix to many of my friends and they're all happy.

    A serviceman from Terminix came out and inspected the home. I like him very much. I would recommend Terminix because I did have termites some 10 years ago and I've been with the Terminix people some 10 years. The only complaint I’d have is an inspection of the internal home and even the outside is very limited as to what the inspector can do. I'm not blaming it on the inspector but as far as the visual inspection there, I asked a question about the damage I had originally originated from under the bathtub.

    When the home was built, they didn't asphalt that in. It's open to the terrain. My question was it's been 10 years since the treatment was done. Should another one be done, just precautionary? I was told that that's a very invasive procedure, that for the chemical, they have to get permission from whomever, and to who it routinely is not permissible. So I wonder how do I know whether or not there are termites again and that somebody is going to find them? I'm wondering if Terminix should have some further means of diagnosis. There are some external things you can put outside the slab of the home to determine if termites are active in the area.

    The service was supposed to be every three months. And Terminix was supposed to come in May. I did not see anybody in May. They came out the first of the month and sprayed the yard. They sent me a message saying they were coming to spray inside. But I haven't seen anybody for the inside of my house. I'm on for the original plan. If I'm on something new now, it will be $50 a month. I don't know what they are taking out of my account. I have to check it this month.

    I was not home when the technician shows up and calls me on the phone and he had never scheduled. No email was received nor text, or phone call prior to arrival. Then charge my credit card.     I've used Terminix for over 10 years. I have an annual contract with them. And they've been nothing but great ever since I started. I have a farm behind me, and when he knocked down a barn, it sent rats in every direction. At the time, over 10 years ago, my kids were young, I had a beautiful brand new backyard, and an in-ground pool. When my wife had friends over one day, a rat actually ran across our deck. So I called Terminix instantly. Name recognition is what brought me to them. And again, they got the right guy, because the first technician I had for many years, Bill, recently retired, but he was outstanding.

    The newest guy that they had, Jerry, was a great guy as well. He texts me and let me know when he's coming. But I know that if I ever need him, I can reach out as well. And when he's in the area, he'll stop by. So, I would refer Terminix to anybody. They addressed any issues that I had, whether it was ants or field mice. And it’s cheap.

    We had stink bugs and that is a big thing down here and it is crazy. We went with Terminix and my husband had to call back because the stink bug issue didn't go away.     I got bids from a few, and Terminix was similar price range but has the name brand recognition. So I went ahead with them because it wasn't different cost-wise. I scheduled an appointment on the online portal, which Terminix cancelled and never filled. But the time before that, we had somebody come out and spray. She looked around the property, did some spraying inside. They asked me what I wanted to have sprayed. And then it was rainy that day so she said she would do the outside, but it probably would not be super effective. We chatted a bit. And that was pretty much it. It seemed good.

    I've used Terminix at two addresses. And somebody named Michael is the one who would usually spray it the other one. He seems great and would always text ahead. He's also the one who did the carpenter ant extermination on a dead tree that we had. And that was effective. So I felt good about that. Tammy is who we have worked with at the most recent house, and we have only had her come out the once so far, but she seems good. Just less experienced. And then all of the inspectors who have come to check for termites always seemed very knowledgeable. They have all mentioned the understaffing problems, and with the last time getting canceled without explanation, we're a little worried about the maintaining of it. But I've been very satisfied with the services we had.

    Terminix is good. But sometimes, making a service call is hard. You have to call some central place, which then gives your number to somebody close to you. We live in the country, so there are not many places really close to us. But it gets done. It's not like we have to wait a long time. It would just be nice if they could just call their local guy and say, "I need to set up an appointment." They're also very expensive. But they keep my house from having termites. The people are also wonderful. They don't put anything on the ground, they just come out here and make sure we don't have termites.

    There's barely any pest activity after Terminix comes out. We had these carpenter ants and they've eradicated that and there's been no sign of the ants. Also, their techs are so polite.     They do a pretty good job. The last time they came out, they checked around for bugs and stuff. I tell them different places to spray and they usually do that.     We've been using Terminix for years and our properties committee is satisfied. They're known for their reputation and they have been in business a long time. The technician came in yesterday and he sprayed the entire building as far as what the form said. He usually comes once a month. But I didn't see him last month and I told him that I saw a roach crawl up the wall in the office and that was the first time in my history of being here that I've seen a bug on the main floor. He didn't answer me and he just did his regular spraying around the perimeter of the room for spiders and things like that. Then he came back into the office and said he was done. In the winter months, there was a day that was icy outside. I was in the office and I got the email from Terminix right after the technician left. I looked out and he was sitting in the parking lot. He said he sprayed the exterior of the building. He must have thought nobody was here.

I only get the exterior done and we're very pleased. However, their price is getting a little high. There are other competitors in the area that are actually cheaper.     Terminix came out to check the mice exclusion. I had to go through the technician because it was too hard to get through when calling the main line to Terminix. They never answer or they put you on hold, and then it gets disconnected. But then I text them directly and they can help me with the appointment. Overall, they're professional and helpful.

    Terminix was the company I was trying to trust, unfortunately, I made a annual payment of $1400 just for mice control. Obviously, I made it because I trusted them. At first they said this includes mice, and 50 types of pest service and I agreed because summer was coming too. Later, when they gave service for pest charged me additionally and said, "This will cover you for 3 months. If you are not Satisfied, professional will come and give you free service." They did that only once, when I called for another service since it wasn't solved, they refused to come and then you said to give me refund then, if you can't keep your words, and they REFUSED. SO I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GET RIPPED OFF, because every time they change their statements.

    IT'S FALSE WHEN YOU HEAR THEM SAYING "THEIR SERVICE IS 100%GUARANTEED AND WILL BE REFUNDED." I wished I could have got refund. It's only been 4 months and I had so many issues with Terminix and paid for unsolved problems. So, everyone is looking for pest control service, trust anyone else but not TERMINIX.

    I've had a terrible time this summer with wasps outside as we cannot find the nest, but they keep coming after my toddler and I, so we've been confined to inside unless necessary. I looked online and advice given is to bring in the professionals, so I lined up Terminix to come out. I've also had a hard time with those big ants inside the house. Carpenter ants? I don't know and the Terminix technician didn't seem to know either.

    I used bill money to have Terminix come because I'm at my wit's end with not being able to enjoy my yard, after 15 years of living here and never having this problem. I was assured that they'd provide a 99.9 percent satisfaction guarantee. The technician that signed me up said, "There's always that one percent though that isn't satisfied." I guess I fall into that category.

    They came out and sprayed. It did not help. I called and scheduled another visit. Another technician came out late evening and saw no "evidence " of wasps, so said there was nothing he could do and left. I have wasp traps out. There are yellow jackets in the trap that he would've seen and obviously there weren't any out flying around because it was already later in the evening.

    It's been a few days now since treatment was done and we are still confined to the house unless trips are necessary. I'm also still having issues with those big ants coming in the house. I have dated pictures. Again, I have a 2 year old who must suffer with staying indoors all summer because the "professionals " have not solved our wasp and ants problems. Oh, and on a final note, I was told that because they did not first handedly see the nest, that I needed to sit outside and watch the flight patterns of the wasps to see where they go and then they could treat the problem. Ummmmm, I hardly think that makes sense. After all, they are supposed to be the professionals.

    I have a termite contract with them. Usually, I get an email and a telephone call when I schedule service. This March, the tech just showed up which was unusual. My contract is up in May and they start billing me in January. But, I would like not to get a bill before March or April. Six months ahead of time is a little early. Also, I usually get a different technician every year. But they're always very professional.

    I had a tech one time who wanted to see the attic. That was very strange. Come to find out, he had a side business and that was the reason he wanted to look in the attic, for added insulation to the house. That, I did not appreciate. In over 20 years that I've had this contract, that was the only time anybody asked to go up into the attic. As a whole, Terminix is a company you can rely on. You can expect them to do a good job.

    When we had fleas, they were very responsive to our needs to have service between--twice--and helped us understand what we needed to do to get rid of them (sweep at least every other day all over the house). Our person asks what we are seeing and having trouble with and treats for that as well as anticipating what is coming up. I appreciate that. My family also used this company for decades, so we have a very long history. Our service person tries to call ahead to let us know he is coming and see if we will be home. That helps as we are in and out quite a bit these days. I can let him know by phone what we are dealing with so he can cover that. Always respective and pleasant interaction.

    I didn't have much luck with local pest control places. I chose Terminix and they've been pretty good since. They only come out quarterly, but they just tell me to call. I usually have one come in between especially during bug seasons and they’re great with it. Now, they hire more experienced people. I get the same person and not keep changing.     Please avoid Terminix, I surprised this company is still in business. The branch in Gaithersburg Maryland scammed me by alleging that there were mice in our house and charged us over $1100 to exterminate the mouse. When I found we were covered under our home warranty, I asked to be taken out of the contract and disputed the bill. They found my American Express card from an old transaction and charged the disputed bill to that account. This criminal act in the age of the Covid 19 pandemic was traumatizing. Terminix agreed to refund me the money save for $200 but the manager reneged on that settlement and gave me much less. I have since found out that Terminix has a horrible reputation. It is my goal to ensure that no one goes through the hell that My family went through in the hands of Terminix. Do not use them!

    Terminix was the only big name in insect control that I knew at the time I went with them. I was with them for over 30 years because we were with them over at our previous house, too. Originally, we had termites in the backyard at our other house. It was like a sandbox. We contacted them at that time. We had termite protection from them. Then we just carried them over to our new house. In the beginning, when we talked to their people, if I had a problem, they took care of it right away.

    As far as the service now, I'm on a regular basis. They come quarterly unless I call them if I have a problem. The service people that come here are all professional. They seem to know what they're doing. They listen to what I have to say. Recently, a guy came to the house. He did the inside, down the basement, the garage and the outside. We had ants and mice.     Be careful, Terminix will overcharge you and without telling you!!! I was called before the last service, I told them their service was not needed anymore. The customer service told me I will be charged if I wanted to cancel the service, in 10 seconds, she told me the service was already billed previously, they will not charge me anymore with the last service.     Everything's going great with Terminix. However, they have to give us a heads-up notice than the day-of or the day before when the technicians are calling. Before, we used to get emails and now we have no idea. But the people that I've interacted with were absolutely phenomenal. The technicians were very professional. However, the last technician I had for my pest control was trying to spend some time before he had to go home. He was sitting and talking to me for I don't know long while I was doing some stuff. But, it's disappointing to see that there were fire ants inside the house already in one location. Also, for both the tenting and the pest control, these people need a watch.     I have Terminix provide routine pest service to my home, including crawl space. On one of the visits they pointed out some minor water marks on the structure. Would be a good idea to encapsulate. I had been thinking about that already, though there was not extensive damage; wanted to catch it before it did any damage. Was told by the sales team that they will complete the work for X dollars. They asked if I wanted them to take lead on any necessary electrical work. I say Yes, since they know what is required.

    While doing their work they cut into the vent on side of my home and left a hose laying on the ground. NO ONE told me this was necessary. Had they told me, I already had a vent we could have used without damaging a new one. And no one took care of the electrical. I talked with their people about this and they assure me they would handle it. This was from November and I have YET to have a completed project. They were quick to take my money but do not finish the project. Perhaps use them for pests but DO NOT use them for anything else.

    I did the research with Clark’s and Terminix. Whoever was available the quickest, that's who I was gonna get. Terminix was a little better at the end of the day. But the thing that I wanted, I wanted the service ASAP. Everything was great. Service came out and did what they had to do. The tech was good. He told me what he was spraying and what was he spraying at, and then if we had any problems, call back as soon as we identify the problem.

But if we need additional service, it’s a little difficult to schedule for service.     I called and booked an appointment for a Thursday from 8-12. They never called and never showed up. I called twice on this day and first time they said the field personal was going to call me back. Never got a call back and I called again and had to leave a message and no return call. The next day I got ahold of someone and they apologize and set up an appointment for the next day in the afternoon. They never showed up again. The next time I called they told me a manager would get a hold of me and set up an appointment. I never got a call. Never use this business. It’s obvious they do not care about their customers.

    We have used Terminix for pest and termite control since 2007 and 2009, respectively. We have no problems with the technicians and the service they provide. However, their billing has been frustrating, at best, the last five years. We pay for a year's service of each type every year and in the last five years many times per year we receive additional bills. The charge will be taken off or refunded after we call but we have become tired of fighting this several times a year so we finally we called in February to cancel. The general telephone person was understanding and said a supervisor would call us to discuss. When a supervisor calls, if you are unable to answer the phone right then, they leave a message that they will only call once again and if we had more questions to call the general number again. This puts you in a never ending loop resulting in never getting contact.

    We have called the general number about four times with no resolution. I finally gave up and sent an email via their website 3/12/2021 and they finally cancelled our service 3/16/2021, as evidenced by an email. There is however no mention of a refund for the remaining year of service we paid for but have not received. We last paid for a year General pest service 5/8/2020 and Termite control 6/24/2020, so we should be refunded for the final two months of general service and three months of the Termite service. We would call to discuss with them but after so many attempts we have lost hope of discussing it with anyone who can do anything. It is unfortunate that they have lost a customer after 14 years due to billing practices, but that is it.

    We’ve used Terminix for the last two years and they’re better than the previous company who was not very good about letting us know when they would arrive. Terminix always calls us before and arranges a time so we like that about them. We have a collection of rugs and we want to protect them from moths, and the guy we have right now seems to know quite a bit about the bugs that we're concerned about. So that's good. We've been bug free for the last year and I’m satisfied with Terminix.

    My experience with Terminix was quite good. I had two different guys come out and they were very professional. They seemed to know exactly what needed to be done and they gave me clear answers to the questions that I had. That aspect went really well. We had a problem with mice and we were pretty ignorant of the whole getting-rid-of-mice situation. Other people could take care of that without too much trouble. But our problem was worse than what we would have wanted to handle on our own. Terminix worked for us and I would do it again if I have to. My one complaint would be scheduling to get someone to come out was weird. It was a hit or miss where they give you a window then sometimes they would call you right before even though you weren't expecting service that day. That happened a couple of times.

    Sometimes it's a little bit hard to get service scheduled for a technician to come right away. But eventually, they come. The first couple of years were difficult. But last year was pretty okay. The process is getting better and better. The technician responsible for my house did pretty well. The pest activity is still on and off. It’s not completely eliminated. That's why we need Terminix and we are still using them. The majority of the issue is our house has house ants so it very depends on the year’s weather. Spring was getting worst. Terminix is reliable and as long as they give a very fair price, we will keep using them.

    When I was calling Terminix, I was told I would get a callback. Someone then scheduled an appointment and they told me that on the day, they wouldn't be able to come out. They were supposed to send somebody else but they didn't come. I had to reach back out. When they did officially come, the person was only here for a short period of time.     Scheduling a service with Terminix has been swift and easy. Since I started using them, the ants are staying under control and the ladybugs are gone.     Terminix came two weeks ago, but I wasn't home. My sister was. They sprayed like they're supposed to. The tech did send me an email as to what he did and the recommendations, I think. But I wasn’t able to read it. The service is really great. The techs come, they call, they set up an appointment, and they do the job. They don't really fool around. I'm very satisfied with their work. There are no more rats. Nobody's swatting mosquitoes around their legs. There were a lot of ants but we don't have that right now. It seems like everything’s cleared up, so it's nice to sit on the porch without the mosquitoes biting people’s legs. Overall, it's very easy to coordinate with Terminix.     I still see cockroaches inside the house. I notified Terminix, and they didn't come. They said that if I find something out and I call, then they will come but they didn't.     The trouble I have that Terminix is taking care of is ants. They have traps inside and they also do an outside thing. Our most recent experience was in December. The only thing I am dissatisfied with is the technicians only did the outside thing and didn't come inside to check the traps. They said it was because of COVID. I started seeing ants inside after the technicians had been out. They sent somebody else out again because the first guy refused to come in. The second guy came out and he did a really thorough thing. He told me the first guy shouldn't have refused to come in.

    Every time Terminix calls me to tell me that the next appointment is whenever, they would say the technicians are doing it outside and I don't have to be here. I keep telling them it’s supposed to be on the inside too. They would supposedly do something and tell the people who are coming that they're supposed to come inside too, but the people get here and they refuse to come inside. There's a disconnect.

    This past time, it wasn't such a big deal. The ants were pretty much gone at that point because of the winter. But the next schedule that’s coming up is in March and the technicians really need to come in and check the traps to make sure that there is food, bait, and everything like that in it. That aside, Terminix has helped me get rid of the problem so I'm somewhat satisfied. Before COVID, they were doing really well coming inside, checking everything, and making sure.

    The last item #3 Was cancelled. The 3rd Item was never done or started because we canceled it. Terminix billed us for 3 items. We fully paid the first 2 which done and completed but the 3rd item which was cancelled/never started. They call and I have explained this to everyone. They sent it to the credit company. Then I called the manager of Terminix. He said that he will correct their mistake. I have emails of him responding to my complaints. But still I am getting calls from either the credit company and Terminix. This is going on for almost a year. Every time they reassure me that they will fix it. But is never done.

    We had mice for the first time last week. Our usual technician that we get over just because we're having bugs had some kind of issue and he couldn't get here. But he was very conscientious about making sure that a substitute got here. The guy put traps in our basement and thus far, we have found three dead mice. I was supposed to call our usual tech today and so far, I've only texted him. But he's very personable and we get along very well.

    We also dealt with Terminix when we had traces of having a squirrel in the attic, which we didn't discover until we moved all the stuff out prior to closing or selling the house. So, it was an emergency. Then, we had bats here due to the squirrels and Terminix dealt with that as well. They've done their part. We also have the Terminix plan for the bugs and their technicians are all absolutely fine. But the back office is horrible. They arrange for technicians to come here from Cape Cod and that makes no sense. They would also triple bill us. They'd always resolve it. but it shouldn't happen in the first place.

    Our technician is a friendly, cool and laid-back guy. We have a good time talking every time he comes out and he always gives us exactly what we need. He told us how we can work with them to get rid of our main problem, which are rats. He had a guy come out already and told us what it will cost to get the house sealed off and let us know there's a 100% guarantee of getting rid of them. So, as soon as I get that money, it’s gonna happen quick. Everything else has been taken care of just fine, so I’m confident with Terminix. Everything that’s being used is working and everything's under control. There haven’t been any bug issues. I'm satisfied as I can be with the service. I usually use the website to schedule a follow-up but I’ve got my technician’s personal number. I could call him and I’ve got him on my Xbox friend list, too. I could ask him if he could make it out.

    I was looking at the pricing options for getting the house sealed off so that we could take care of the rat option, and we don't have credit. So, I would suggest allowing a customer who already makes quarterly payments to add a little bit to that payment so that service can be done and it could pay off over time. We’ve been customers for two years and faithfully making our payments. Even if it’s a little late, we let them know. And Terminix has been understanding about most things. So, they could probably take that extra step too because that’s more money in their pocket and more that the customer can be satisfied with. Terminix is great and does the job. Our guy straight up lets us know the way we wanna go. They have these stations and he tells us which ones work best. He doesn’t fool around.

    I've had Terminix since I had the house and that's going on for years. I just took over the contract. I thought they always had a good name. I have heard some bad things about Terminix since I've been with them but I’m sticking with them. I hope it's worth it. They call me and tell me when they're coming or when they would like to come. They are typically there at that time, which is saying a lot nowadays. The last two times, the technicians were fabulous. There was a guy before who was not. But the last two made up for how bad the first guy was.

    The last girl who came and did the whole house inspection was super thorough. She did the interior. She was dressed to the T in the uniform and she looked like she was going out of space. She had every tool you needed and every light. She just did a phenomenal job.     Terminix used to give us warning that they’re coming but they don’t anymore. So, I can’t even tell when the guy came. Sometimes, he’ll text me and say that he’s on his way. If we need it, they come inside if we're home and we know he's coming. June 3rd was the last time I had any interaction because I texted him. And he texted and said he was coming to my house. Terminix said they have been here and they’ve billed.

    I've been part of Terminix, more than the past 14 years we've owned this house, I grew up with Terminix, which is why I chose it. We started using Terminix immediately when we bought the house. I still have mouse activity. The guy couldn’t catch a mouse and I found poop in my drawer in my kitchen this week. We have two cats inside but they're confined to the laundry room, which is usually where I end up finding the mice. I thought the cats would keep them away. But it may also be because when this house was set up, they put more than one way. There are mouse traps in various places and I haven’t moved them. So, it’s not the guy’s fault. When we had trouble with fleas last year, Terminix was very responsive to that. If there's an issue with bugs that I'm seeing in-between, they have been coming out and taking care of it. Terminix is a great service with personable technicians.

    Never use Terminix. I am getting ready to file a lawsuit against them. I Had rats. I signed up for an Exclusion Service for $2260 and a month of trap setting $200. Someone came to the house and was there less than one hour, I never received a report or photos as promised. As far as I see he did no work at all. The next day another tech came. He sprayed for spiders and did nothing about the rats. I am highly allergic to pesticides. I have tried to redress all this with the Manager all to no avail. I will contact the State and also a lawyer. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. I am 73 yrs old and have never been treated so bad any company I have dealt with.

    We're on a regular, scheduled basis with Terminix. They come every three months to treat the house for regular pest. Then they come annually for the termite control. It’s pretty timely. They usually send me a text, letting me know that they're going to come. It’s usually anywhere from a week or three to five days in advance. Normally, for the regular treatments, I have the same techs. They did change on me without notice. But it was two that came, if my regular guy didn't come, this other guy was his backup. So now, the backup guy has become my regular guy.

    I have a lot of problem with the big water bugs. So, sometimes, if I want them to do something differently like whatever it is that they use on a normal basis, I’ll tell them, “Look, the inside ain’t so much where they seem to reside. They seem to mostly reside on the outside. So if you can spray around the door, around the walls like that, I believe that'll keep them from coming,” and they’ll do it. It keeps the bugs from entering the house. If I tell them not to use the powder, but use a spray, then they do it. They're pretty open-minded. If I don't think something is working out well and I ask them to try something different, they do it.

    Scheduling the service is kind of difficult because you have to go through national. There is no local number to call to reschedule, and then it's got to be routed down to local. So there has been issues in the past. At the moment, we've had consistently for the last year or so, the same technician. But prior to that, it would be switch-off between different technicians depending on when they had it scheduled. The pest activity has been great as far as them keeping it down. Our current technician always texts us prior and after the service. If we got any questions, he would answer that or do extra sprays if we need to. He's been great.

    Terminix came to me and said that my next-door neighbor would have a infestation. Whenever a neighbor has an infestation, they sometimes get them out of there, but that infestation then moves to the neighbors. So to prevent them from moving to my house, I elected to have Terminix come and perform service for a year to ascertain that it didn’t come to my house. It was a great service to have because of the additional support that I wouldn't require above and beyond a simple DIYer. Once it was taken care of, then I’m able to maintain it myself. I was happy in the sense that their chemicals were green, in a sense, and safe for environment. They did really good job at keeping out the spiders and ants. So it was nice.

    Scheduling the service was super simple. I didn’t have to schedule it. They automatically rotate their due process on intervals. It’s worked out fine. They would text me the day before and let me know that I was on the schedule. Then, the tech would text me a few minutes before to let me know he was ready to show up. I had animals in the backyard so that was really convenient.

    I cannot get Terminix to come out, but they keep sending me bills. I made the appointments on their app. They did two no call, no shows. But I got an email saying they would be be out there at 9 o'clock in the morning, and nothing. So then, I called after they sent me a bill and finally got ahold of somebody. I said I didn't owe them that because they didn't come out. They said, "Okay." They sent a technician out. So I've gotten four visits. They want $100, when I paid 100 and some dollars down. So that's like $200 for four visits.

    They said I could request a visit every two weeks, and they would send someone out. But that hasn't happened yet. I tried to schedule visits, and they scheduled them, but they wouldn't come out. Then I talked to some freaking clown on the phone and he kept insisting that I owed 100 and some dollars. I told him to have a manager call me. But that was the last of that conversation. I even sent a letter to the branch and to the corporate headquarters in Knoxville, Tennessee and that I would like to speak to upper management about this issue. But no call back from them either. I cannot get ahold of management with Terminix to discuss this.

    I used to have Terminix in my other house and I decided to continue. When I got them at first, I had termites and it was taken care of. Then I got a contract so every year they come and inspect everything in the house and outside. But my experience with them was not great. Terminix makes appointments and then, when they get there, they don’t get what I need. I need certain days and they go ahead and make the appointment anyway for whatever. So, whatever you said, they didn’t took into that. But it’s alright. They work it out around my schedule sometimes.

    This year with Covid, everything got a little bit behind money-wise. I told Terminix that I didn't want my contract anymore because I didn't know how to pay for it. They called me back and asked me about making payments. I said that would be great because I didn't wanna lose the contract. I made four payments. Then, they said at the last payment that I owed them money, which I already paid them a couple weeks before. I told them that I paid them the first of the month and then I had extra, so I paid a little bit of money. So, I was done that way. But they said I haven’t paid. I wish they could go back on their records and check because I have my records. I know what I paid and what date. They couldn't find it. This year, when I have to renew it again, I'm debating if I'm gonna continue with them or not. But other than that, Terminix was okay. I’m working with them around it.

    Terminix came right after Christmas for my quarterly spraying around the house. John is my primary technician and he's the one I see the most. He knocked at the door to let me know that he was here. So I put on my mask and went out to talk to him. Everything has been fine. He's very knowledgeable. I really appreciate their service.

    I normally don't have to call Terminix in between services but if I have to have them come out, I call the 800 number. That was a couple of years ago when that happened because I had mice in my attic. John told me that they were getting a local number 'cause the 800 number puts me someplace in Kentucky or something and nobody gets back to me right away. Terminix is very thorough. They email me in between services, to see if I need anything else. They also remind me of termites but I haven't seen anything and I'm going on faith that they don't need to come and look for termites. They did that once a couple of years ago. I also don't want ants in my house and they take care of that.

    Please don't waste your money or your time. I was a customer from April 2018 to January 2021. Area is Chicago / Lincoln Park. There is no one in this organization that can provide service. They do not provide a comprehensive program. Customer Service reps are very pleasant, but all they can do is have someone will call you, and rarely do they call. If someone does call, they have no idea why they are calling and they don't solve the problem.

    I was so frustrated, I wrote to the CEO. That got me a few phone calls, but 5 people that I talked with have left the company, including that CEO. No different with the new CEO. This company is terrible all the way around. The only thing they know how to do is debit your account monthly for service you never receive. Worse than awful. Save yourself from spending lots of money, hours of aggravation and then still being left with a pest problem.

    The first person that came for checking and give me the estimate was nice, polite, and checked every spot, but the communication for getting the service was terrible. I didn’t get the service by the programmed day, not one called me for telling me that the service was cancelled, I was unable to get the right department or person on the phone to lets me know what was going on. Then, the younger worker that came the day after was polite but stubborn and indifferent to spray in the place where I asking for. He argued in a polite way with me all the time for doing the service right on the areas inside the house where I know it was termite’s activities.

    Outside he was suppose to spray on the fascia, he argued that too with me, in fact he didn’t believe what I said about it, that fascia has obvious termites activities, and it was included in the services and this worker called the company about spray that fascia outside because he was stubborn, and I finally don’t know if he did or not the fascia because by that point I was so tired and disappointed for asking or checking his slow and poor job. I guess I got a really expensive services for nothing and that worker is unhappy for his low salary or something. The termites' bombs outside are not placed in equal distances, a long important area is empty of it. I won’t recommend this company at all, I’m very unsatisfied. I won’t get the warranty either for next year, in fact I will post this complain on other sites so people are going to know what a scam is this.

    I had someone come in and do a consultation. He said initially that he saw a spot that might have had termites or could possibly have termites and they would need to be treated.     Terminix keeps calling me. They keep on telling me to do it whenever it's due. For this most recent one, I saw something that looked like what would have been mouse droppings and said, “Somebody better come out and look.” They didn't find anything, but they did what the job was. Somebody came and worked outside. The last one also involved somebody coming into the house. They have all been excellent through the years. I have been very pleased with them. The only thing I'm not pleased with is they used to leave me a piece of paper that gave a report, and now it all comes out online. But even in the pandemic, they wore masks and changed their shoes. I can open the door and go in another direction so I'm not near them.

    I've never had termites. But we stay away from that. And the pests, even in the winter they’re all dead. Ants and stuff don't come into the house, particularly in the summer when Terminix gets rid of them outside. At some point, I had a creature flying around my dining room. I didn't know what it was. I called Terminix and I ended up with some other contract which was not worth the money, and in which they did nothing because they never found anything from it. But that was a couple of years ago and I've cancelled that contract now. But the quality of work on the termite and pest control contracts has been high.

    For 15 years I paid an annual termite inspection fee and every third year paid a larger amount for insurance against termites. Currently the annual bill is $200 and the third year $500. Recently I went to sell my house and an independent inspector found signs of dry wood termites. I was not concerned because I thought I had protection. I didn't. It turns out that I am covered for subterranean termites but not dry wood termites. Worse they could not tell me if the the termites were limited to the two small areas they were found at or if there were more areas infected. Solution tent the house for about $6,000. Call Terminix to see if you are in the same boat. I will look around for a better company. Also look up the suit against Terminix in Alabama which they lost.

    The first guy from Terminix that came here had to come back for a respray and it was okay for a while. He called me back a few months later for the second application. It was a Sunday night and it was late. I thought he didn't sound right. I said I would call him when I need it. Then, the company called me and said that was part of my annual sprays. A guy came and he sprayed the deck. As soon as my wife gave him a tip, he finished the side of the house and then he left. He was only here for 10 minutes. My understanding was that he was supposed to spray the eaves, front and back in the house, the gutters, and all around the foundation. For the amount of time that he was here, it's almost impossible for him to do all that.

    I called the company and asked how long it usually takes somebody to do the house. They said it's 20 or 30 minutes. They were going to send somebody else but the guy showed up the next morning. He said he wanted to meet me face-to-face and talk to me. He said to call him directly if I have a problem. He presented me pictures of what he saw was wrong. It was a little gap on my garage door but there’s nothing else that says that he walked around the house. I asked about the gutters in front and the eaves and he said that's a two-man job. He doesn't have ladders on his car. He said he will have to come back again. That was about a month ago and I haven't heard from him or seen him since. I stopped the payments on automatic billing on my credit card, which is what they want all the time. I'm just going to get somebody local.

Contacted local, regional and national offices and never had a response. Still wanted to charge me for visit and cancelled service when they would not respond and complete service per contract. Sent to credit agency and now I’m suing them. Save yourself a ton of hassles and stay away from these crooks.

    All of my experiences, so far, have been fine. They helped resolve our ant problem and when we had some really big outdoor roaches. Also, they have good customer service. They always call me when they're on the way and then when they've completed the service. I'm pretty satisfied with the service - it's good and affordable.

    I paid for a one year termite treatment as I was told that was my problem. The tech that came out told me he 'didn't even think I had termites'. This made sense since I continued to have damage from ANTS after their service. They charged me for the renewal which I did not authorize. I have been calling for a year and a half and they still refuse to formally cancel my contract or give me a refund of the amount I paid for this year, even though they came and got the traps 6 months ago. I had to cancel my credit card so that they would stop charging me. Every time I call, they tell me I will hear from someone from the 'local office'. I have never had ONE return call. PLEASE use someone local you can trust!!!!

    We ask for an in-house inspection periodically, and they do that. Terminix would come to see us whenever we asked. We've been with them for years and we haven't had any problems with them. All the people in the neighborhood had problems with termites about 20 years ago and I haven't heard anybody complain since then.
