Samsung Refrigerator RF 267 Series. We have been very unhappy with our Samsung Refrigerator. We bought it approx 6 years ago and have numerous expensive repairs. A new refrigerator should not require costly repairs to keep it running. Our last repair replaced the "guts" of the refrigerator and an ice maker part - approx $600. This is just to keep the thing running! We have had to replace 3 of the plastic side shelves (at a heft cost) because they are so cheap that they just broke apart with regular use. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR unless you don't mind constantly putting money into it.

I purchased Samsung 4 door flex refrigerator July 2018. The ice maker started freezing over and not working and has been doing this every couple of month. I have been thawing it out and reseting it. It’s now December 2019 and no longer reset. I called Samsung and they directed me to a repair company who doesn’t return calls. I’m so unhappy with Samsung as I have looked them up on Youtube and blogs where there are so many complaints about the ice maker not just my model but numerous models. There is also a class action suit. I have always purchased their electronics and I have their washer/dryer which I have not had any problems. Do not buy their refrigerator until they fix this problem.

We had trouble with our fridge from day one. This was 3 years ago, well before the current onslaught of consumers with huge problems, so we received a refund after 5 non-repairs. Thousands of consumers have been defrauded and this company should have been forced to recall the 20+ models that are, very simply, crap. Samsung has tried over and over to make consumers pay for repairs, which do not fix the problems anyway. They, also, try to dupe people that they are out of warranty, while this is NOT a warranty issue. It is a design flaw, which his company knows very well and refuses to resolve without extreme stress for its purchasers. Shame on them.

I purchased a Samsung 2 door fridge with lower freezer drawer and upper ice and water dispenser. It was delivered and installed in May 2016. Right away the ice cubes where either very small and dry or regular size and wet. The cubes regularly melted and froze into a block of ice, where we had trouble removing the ice tray. Once opened we found that the whole ice compartment was frozen including the ice making machine. We had to regularly turn it off and defrost it. Sometimes the ice would melt and drip from the ice/water dispenser.

In the summer 2016 we noticed that our food was spoiling. Soon after the fridge was making a loud noise. After some investigation we found out that the fan area of the fridge was filling with ice which froze the fan in a block of ice, which caused the fridge to warm without any indication on the fridge thermostat. Every few months we have to take everything out, thaw out the fridge for 2 days and then restart the fridge. We've had two repairs done by a certified appliance repair company. The first time we were told that the problem was a well known flaw in manufacturing. Samsung has recommended a kit to fix the problem, but the repair company said that it doesn't work.

We paid them to put the kit in, which was some tin foil and cardboard to redirect the air flow and replacement tubs to help with the backflow of water (which both cause the water to back up and freeze into the fan area). One month later the fan was frozen again and our food was spoiling again. We paid for the repair company to return. They checked everything and told us that there was no way to make the fridge run the way it should. They told us that it's a well known manufacturing flaw that samsung will not fix and will not recall. We paid over $2000 for this fridge and Samsung has told us that they will not refund or replace it even though it hasn't worked right from the start.

Today is Thanksgiving and now it has gone out again. Fridge fan and coils freezing up preventing the fridge from cooling. It is now 56 degrees and we are going to lose everything again. My wife picked out a 2 drawer Samsung fridge for $1800 at Home Depot. After 3 weeks I realized one morning our kitchen flooded and into dining room. When I realized the water was coming out from the bottom of the fridge I shut water off. Called Samsung. They were so not customer service at all. Didn't care that one my kitchen and dining room was flooded. I dented our new fridge pulling it out to shut off water. Samsung finally sent out a service person after a week and he replaced pump that was bad. Said he would come back to fix dent and never did. These fridges are crap. Don't waste money.

I purchased a beautiful black stainless steel French door refrigerator from Lowe’s 2 years ago. Now it has a system leak due to sulfur in the air and can’t be fixed. Samsung said it was damage and I did not take the precautions to protect it. The only thing I could have done is not use water in my home. I had two different repairmen out. They both said this is a common problem with Samsung refrigerators. Samsung and Lowe’s know this is a problem but do not advise buyers with well water to beware. Samsung customer service towed the company line and said it was my fault and took no responsibility for cheap parts. My last refrigerator lasted over 15 years sitting in the same spot. Not a Samsung of course.

We were so excited to have a beautiful fridge with room for everything. Well we got it home and experienced the ice maker not working well. Long story short, we've had a repair company out $500.00 to try and stop air leaks because the coils would freeze over. It still isn't fixed and over $200.00 for an ice maker, that too freezes solid and Samsung does not honor repairs. So no, I would not recommend it to anyone. It looks pretty but it is costly and no one knows how to repair it properly. Not even Samsung.

This is a beautiful refrigerator with some handy features. I had been hesitant to buy one because of all the ice-maker problems I was reading about. I was told at the store that the 2019 models had ice-makers that were redesigned so not to worry. My refrigerator was installed almost 4 days ago. The ice-maker is working, but it makes VERY LITTLE ice at one time and takes FOREVER to make another batch. The ice is stored in a "bin" that is not easily accessible. Ice must be accessed primarily by using the water/ice feature on the front of the door. There is no bin one can reach into. Part of the ice-maker must be pulled out of the refrigerator in order to reach your hand in to empty all ice.

I heave read reviews from various consumers debating the ice volume issue. I had read that many thought the ice production was fine. IT IS NOT. If you enjoy ice in your drinks, you would barely have enough for a family of four. Then, it takes forever for it to be replenished. I live in Texas. It is hot here more often than not. We like plenty of ice in our drinks. This refrigerator is not up to the task. In fact, I have never seen an ice "bin" so small or one that you couldn't reach in and get the ice easily. This was an expensive purchase. Had I known about this "redesigned" ice-maker's limitations, I would never have bought it. I will need to routinely purchase a bag of ice to keep in the freezer at all times. Other than the ice-maker, I have no other complaints at this time.

Read all of the negative reviews on Samsung refrigerators. They all say the same thing.... Ice maker freezing up, water pooling in and under the meat and vegetable bends, water overflow on the floor, filter light will not go off. Don't just read what is said on this site... Go anywhere on the web. You will see nothing but the same negative reports. Samsung will not recall nor fix the problem. Samsung sent out a service memo to the companies who sell their refrigerator in June of 2015 advising them of existing problems with the refrigerator. Lowe's sold me a Samsung refrigerator without telling me about the existing problems or the service memo.

Samsung will not stand behind their product. The only way we, as consumers, can fight back is to boycott the company and the stores that sell their products. Consumers are fighting back... There is a class action law suit against Samsung over these faulty refrigerators. The stores who continue to sell Samsung products without telling the customer about existing problems should be sued also.

So now I’m stuck with a refrigerator that has an icemaker that has never worked, will not work, cannot be fixed and they will do nothing zero about it. It is not a shocker that there’s a big lawsuit about them with their refrigerator icemakers.

    Ice Maker:

The ice maker constantly freezes up and requires that you defrost or chip ice out every month or so. This is a flaw with how the ice maker is mounted and does not create a sealed compartment, allowing warmer air from the refrigerator section to enter the ice making space.

    Touch Screen:

My first fridge came with a broken touch screen. It was active but the touch did not work all the time. For whatever reason they could not obtain the part so they RMA-ed (Return Merchandise Approval) my refrigerator and replaced with the same model -under warranty. The second refrigerator came the same way. This time they were able to obtain the part using a third party repair company and the screen was fixed.

Apparently the first screen had a broken connection that the technician was able to see once he removed the part. He suspected the connection was possibly broken during transport and explicitly installers holding/carrying the door by holding the ice dispenser region. Apparently there is a flexible piece of plastic that pushes up into the screen. I recommend for anyone with this refrigerator to take extra precautions not to move the fridge by holding the ice maker region.

    Applications:

When I first got the refrigerator there were several useful apps (including: AP News, Pandora, a recipe application, weather bug, google calendar, etc) with the indication that more apps were going to be coming in the near future.

No new applications have come. Weather Bug stopped working 2 years ago. AP News just went off line. Pandora and recipe apps just disappeared one day. To make it worse many people on the Samsung site have been trying to get a response about the applications and Samsung never responds. My opinion is to stay away from any Smart-screen Samsung refrigerators: they are only a novelty that Samsung does not seem to support.

Lowe's came and fix it and told us that it's not going to have any more problems. Unfortunately, it had the same problem five more times in three years. When I call Lowe's to complain, the supervisor was so rude and told me to buy bags of ice to solve my problem. I paid more than $3,000 for this refrigerator and I am really frustrated that this issue has not been recalled. I will never buy another Samsung product again and I am still dealing with this.

I purchased a Samsung rf267aers refrigerator 12/01/09. The issue with this unit is the following. We the owners of this unit all (have) the same problem. Lousy design of defrost system allows the defrosted water to freeze in the discharge tube so it overflows into the lower platform under the pull out shelf. When it freezes, it freezes the roller wheel on the bottom of the shelf in the layer of ice and it won't move until you defrost the fridge to the point it releases. There are YouTube videos of how to defrost the coils but Samsung has known about this forever and won't fix it.

So every month I remove the bottom tray and remove the built up ice slab. Now I have called samsung several times. Samsungs directions defrost the refrigerator. But even that process DO NOT solve the problem. ONCE unit was turned on again the SAME problem returned. I once inquired to samsung tech people how much it would cost me to fix the problem $700-$800 with NO GUARANTEE. BUT THEY WOULD put the old parts back. Of course I would have to pay for the labor for the install and removal that was about $165-320. Samsung bad NEWS.

RFG237AARS purchases 2/2013. I have a Samsung Range and Dishwasher and haven't had any issues with those appliances, but this refrigerator is definitely a lemon. There are quite a few Youtubers out there showing the icing problem. They are chiseling ice blocks off the fridge. The fridge starts making an annoying sound which happens to be the twin cooling fan system hitting the ice. "That's not right".

It's disappointing that Samsung is not addressing the issue. I have been able to care for mine periodically and unthaw it from time to time, but it's definitely a "feature" Samsung isn't being upfront about. I’m sure at some point the fan will break because of the issue. I can only imagine what expenses they would try to push onto the consumer(me), and given the age of the refrigerator it isn't worth a $500 repair bill. It doesn't sound like people are having much luck with repair(s) either. Some report multiple repairs yet they still have a dud afterwards.

Samsung’s idea of customer service is “3 – 5 business days and someone will call you”. At this point we have been without a functioning refrigerator (I consider a refrigerator to be a basic need in this day and age) for 14 days! The specifics are below: A service tech was sent to ‘fix’ the problem one week after we first reported the problems to Samsung. The fix/part replacement (2 different parts were tried) did not correct the problem. The Tech talked with Samsung’s technical support from our home and said, "My office will call you on Monday" (9 days after the report to Samsung).

On Wednesday (11 days after the report to Samsung) the same tech is back with a 3rd different part. Still not the answer. At this point, it is determined that we need a whole new refrigerator (current unit is only 6 months old). The Tech entered a ticket into the system AND once again it is 3 – 5 days before someone will call us. Not, 3 – 5 days and you will have a new refrigerator – NO, 3 – 5 days and someone will talk with you about what can be done. Now it has been exactly 14 days since our Samsung refrigerator has worked. Still we have not received a call from anyone from Samsung regarding the solution to our problem. This was my first Samsung refrigerator; it will be my last.

That was very embarrassing for me.

Now my machine is leaking water with every wash, and my refrigerator also not working specially its freezer. This will be the second summer I'm facing this problem. I would put negative or Zero stars if I could. We are on day 18 with a broken refrigerator and no closer to a resolution. It takes a minimum of 4 days to get a physical service person to arrive and evaluate the problem. In our case it was a severe sealed compressor issue on our refrigerator less than 1 year old and still under factory warranty. After the technician discovered the real problem we waited 3 days for Samsung to determine an exchange was the course of action. 7 Days after that determination we are no closer to getting the exchange we were promised. You would think after the amount of my follow up calls, I could actually reach a person with the ability to simply approve the exchange request. The scripted response is to tell you they will expedite with an email. Horrible service Samsung.

We did buy the extended warranty so that covered the fix but a year after that the same thing happened but this time the fridge was no longer cooling at all and it had ice. Once again they came out and fixed it. I got tired of calling for repairs so I started removing the ice from the back as needed the best I could. Also the ice machine went completely out so I just bought ice trays. About 2 years ago the freezer gave out completely. I called a repair person but it was going to be over $800 to fix. It was blocked with ice on the bottom once the ice was removed. Now it doesn’t cool down at all. This fridge is a $2,000 piece of junk. NEVER AGAIN. I should have went with a cheap basic fridge.

Then the door shelves are made of such a LOW quality that they do NOT have any quality at all. Within the first six months 3 shelves were broken in pieces and when I complained they ONLY send me 1 shelf. You keep complaining to somebody from the other side of the world and they just keep opening new ticket complains without solving the problem. They send me one more shelf and as of today I only have two door shelves working because each one costs about $60 and I do not want waste any more money.

The water and ice dispenser is also a big problem, it seems to have an attitude. It dispenses ice or water whenever it pleases him not the person getting it. It would not dispense and you HAVE to figure out if the temperature it's at normal or you have to open and close the doors or you have to turn the knob at the ice dispenser to get anything dispensed to you. Do not BUY it is a piece of JUNK compare to my last refrigerator that lasted 15 years without any problems. If you Do be prepared to pay them at least $240 a year in Door Shelves replacements.

We have had MANY issues with our Samsung refrigerator that is LESS than 5 yrs old and cost OVER $3000!! Over the past year, the fan and refrigeration coils behind the back panel FREQUENTLY ice up, causing the fan to stop cooling the fridge, and therefore spoiling all the food. We then have to move any salvageable food into coolers to allow the fridge to completely defrost. This happens every month or so, since the issues began, and we are not alone by any means if you research reviews on the web.

It is model RF28HFEDBSR/AA with French Doors, icemaker/water dispenser and a Bottom Freezer. BUYER BEWARE. Samsung does not assume ANY responsibility for their faulty products, hence the class action lawsuit in USA which started in 2010, and the internet is FULL of angry, disappointed consumers with the exact same stories. Samsung's service bulletin regarding the issue recommends replacing more parts, but at your own expense, and without evidence of even resolving the issues to consumers' satisfaction. For an undetermined reason, the ice maker fills with frost, which turns into blocks of ice, not allowing the ice to be made, and locks up the auger.

He stated that once they found the leak they would have to order parts and schedule another appointment to fix said it could take 2-3 weeks. The drink drawer is SO awesome! It keeps our soda and beer cool and out of the way! It has a mini-touchscreen that plays Pandora, shows our calendar, weather and news, plus has an app for drawing notes. The connection isn't always stable and the phone mirroring app never worked, but I don't care. It's really cool. Keeps the food fresh, the freezer is large and has a drawer for small items as well. We kept this refrigerator alive with a lot of work for 9 years. Appearance wise, it was exactly what we wanted. It looks great. It is easy to clean. It was cabinet depth without a huge price tag. However, shortly after the one year warranty, the produce bins started icing up underneath and we would often find water in the bins. There seems to be a known problem with these fridges and we got no help from Samsung. My husband is very handy, and by spending a lot of time defrosting the fridge several times a year, we kept it alive.

When I say defrost, I mean at least two days of defrosting because the Styrofoam insulation was totally wet and it took that long to dry it out. He had to open up the back of the inside of the fridge to do this - not recommended for most people. That means two days without a fridge. My understanding is that there is a class action suit against Samsung for this problem. The electronics in this fridge are defective and I would never buy another Samsung fridge. We gave up and now decided to go down in price and get a more old-fashioned top freezer, no French doors.

Luckily our home came with a home warranty so we filed a claim. There is a known defect with this model Samsung fridge and Samsung is doing nothing to resolve the issue. A family in NJ had to file a class action lawsuit to try getting help from Samsung. The fridge stops cooling and water forms under the fridge. Ice covers the coils therefore the fan stops working. The fridge then goes into defrost mode. This has been an absolute headache for us.

We have forked out money on short term repairs and have lost money spent on food that has gone bad. This fridge is easily worth $3000.00. Samsung should be ashamed! I feel there should be a recall on their faulty product. I WILL NEVER buy another Samsung product after seeing how Samsung treats their customers. Clearing the ice from the fan and the build up in the ice maker are becoming chores that I NEVER had to do with my old fridge. Every couple of months we have to unload the fridge to access the back panel to melt the ice built up around the fan. At least once a month we have to clear the ice around the ice maker to get the ice maker to work again. I am writing this letter to inform Samsung and Home Depot of a very real problem that my family and I have with one of your products. We bought a refrigerator on November of 2017 from Home Depot. Very good looking fridge. The sales personnel talked up a very good advertise for it and it was priced very good. Also we were told by Home Depot that it had a 2 year warranty. We didn't think anything about extending a warranty due to the Samsung name being strong in our household. Samsung phones to Tv's and computer monitors. Until March of this year 2019 hit.

We noticed the bottom portion where the freezer is starting to "ice" up. Lots of ice crystals forming all over the food. We thought, well maybe it's because we are running the swamp cooler and the humidity is entering the fridge when we open it. Never gave it a thought that less than a year and a half later that something would be wrong with our brand new fridge. Boy were we wrong! A month later, my wife came home and everything in the fridge had melted and spoiled! We checked the temperature on the door display and it displayed the right temperature. Or should I say, the temperature it was supposed to be at.

After panicking and trying to salvage whatever food was left by moving it to our garage fridge, we decided to browse the internet for answers. And boy did we find a ton of them with these model types. Apparently this model has an issue which you Samsung will not acknowledge! So after read the instruction of the hundreds of people with the same problem, we reset the fridge and its display came back with the true temperature reading. The fridge is usually set at 0 for freezer and 36 for the fridge. It came back at 57 for the freezer and 71 for the fridge. Big difference after the reset.

So obviously now, the fridge kicks back on and starts to cool. So this now happens about once or twice a week. We have to unplug the fridge every 2 to 3 days just to make sure the on board computer gets the right reading and clears the glitch this fridge has. And almost every time we do reset it, the temperature is off by 5 to 10 degrees. We are obviously frustrated.

But that's not the worst part. We call Samsung to get someone to repair the fridge because as we were told "It has a 2 year warranty" and we were told that, "No, your model has only 1 year warranty." We were shocked! Not only by that but by when we told Samsung that we were told by Home Depot that it supposedly had a 2 year warranty, that Samsung actually came back with, "Oh sorry, we changed it this year". How can you sell an item, tell the customer it comes with 2 year warranty, not only did Home Depot say it, but when you google Samsung refrigerator warranty, it also says 2 years. Then when one breaks, back out of it completely and say "Our bad, it's one year now".

We have 2 kids, we are not rich in any way. We work very hard and try our best to do everything we can for our family. We mustard up the finances to buy this fridge. Not only did we buy the fridge, we also bought a Samsung dishwasher for a matching set. And now we sit here with a fridge we cant use. We lost 300 dollars worth of food and have a $2,000.00 dollar piece of furniture in the kitchen now.

After arguing with Samsung for hours which by the way were very rude on the phone, they did us a "favor" by sending a tech out free of charge to "look" at it. The guy came out, dusted off the back and cleaned the front grill at the bottom and said there's nothing wrong with it and that there was nothing that he could do. Didn't do any testing on it at all! He actually said it's probably our fault for by not monthly cleaning the back of it? Are you serious.? Our Kenmore in the garage has been running for 21 years non stop. And Samsung wants to blame us because there was some dust on the back of the fridge? Wow Samsung, you really know how to stand behind your products.

This has set our family back bad financially. We have to use our old fridge in the garage now which is smaller and doesn't accommodate our now growing family, which is the reason we upgraded. Or should I say downgraded. We lost a lot of food. My son has allergies so we have to buy the expensive gluten free food for him. We are still paying on the fridge that you wont repair because of a warranty you lied about. Or that you said changed the next year after our purchase. The ice maker in the fridge is another story. Doesn't work, has to be cleared everyday or it wont make ice. All this in less than 2 years of owning it.

I will not let this go. I will write, paste and pass this story anyway I can. This is not right for you to sell a product and walk away from a known problem with these model refrigerators. We cannot afford to buy another one and we cringe at the payment due from Home Depot every month. This is not customer service! This is you ripping a family off from their dreams of having a nice home to raise their kids up in and having the tools to do it with. Thanks for crushing that Samsung and Home Depot.

You cannot use a hairdryer as this will damage the unit and take it out of warranty. When I leave to go out of town I turn off the water supply to the refrigerator and turn off the ice maker on the refrigerator panel. The bottom freezer has two drawers with separations and makes organization easy.

The four zone refrigerator drawer makes it easy to find snacks or other often used items. The easy access door with removable handled baskets is very handy and energy efficient. This refrigerator also has the smart feature that I can access at any time on my phone. We bought this refrigerator when it was on sale; otherwise I would say that the price would be kind of prohibitive. Otherwise, I hardily recommend this refrigerator!

Lots of freezer space also. We love the filtered ice/water through the door options. The stainless steel is so easy to keep clean and looks really sharp. Temperature controls actually work where in some other brands we have owned they were more like idiot gages, nonfunctional. We have owned it six years now and still loving it. Only thing I would change is the location of the water filter. Put it up top so an old man like me does not have to lay down to make the change.

We found early on that selling our used appliances before a move, was more cost effective than risking damage to them. Samsung refrigerators are priced well, energy efficient, as well as nice to look at. I love the french doors and freezer on the bottom. The middle drawer is the favorite feature in this house. Putting the most used items in the drawer, saves opening the doors to the top storage area so many times each day. The crisper drawer lives up to its name, keeping lettuce fresh and crispy as long as 10 days.

After much research on issues with refrigerators it was clear that an in-door ice/water dispenser causes significant service calls, so we wanted to avoid that feature. In addition to a counter-depth our space would also only allow for a 33 inch wide appliance which means the cubic feet is reduced which is fine as we don't have a need for a huge machine. Samsung refrigerator RF28HFEDBSR/AA. Purchased this unit in November 2015 new at Home Depot. Had about 1 year until issues started. The 1st issue: The refrigerator wasn’t keeping an accurate temperature inside and was leaking water all inside the bins. The inside back panel of the refrigerator froze up with ice, rendering the fans that circulate the air useless since they froze up. Had repair company come and order entire new back panel “twin cooling” section. Said this was a common problem due to the poor condensation section in the rear panel section. It would freeze up not allowing the water to drain. The refrigerator work for a couple more months and then developed a second problem.

Problem number 2: The refrigerator could not keep a constant temperature like before. Same repair company came out, they spoke with Samsung and they then had to replace the rear logic board in the rear. This worked for a few more months and yet again a 3rd problem. It wasn’t holding a accurate temperature yet again. Same repair company came out a 3rd time and Samsung told him to replace the rear panel again. Also this time the ice maker wasn’t working correctly either. Freezing up the components inside the ice maker section. These parts also had to be ordered along with the rear panel again. Thank the Lord I had the Extended Service Plan with Home Depot which has yet to replace my unit, only fixing it time after time. Asurion also likes to play games and try and send service centers who are not Samsung Certified Technicians which causes more delay. Have to fight with them as well to send the correct people out.

Samsung simply make poor appliance in all. As a side note I also had a Samsung washer that had to be replaced since it was one that was recalled due to exploding during spin cycles. From what I can gather, most companies like Samsung do not build anything these days with quality in mind. Samsung charges the extended service center a lot of money for these parts to be replaced over and over again failing to actually replace the unit. That seems to be their game these days. Would NEVER buy another Samsung appliance ever again and would tell everyone to stay away from them.

Purchased 01-2016, 1st repair 03-2017 for ice maker and not cooling. Had to manually defrost every 3 to 4 months until 01-2018 when ice machine stopped totally. Called HH Gregg extended warranty who did not respond for 6 months. By then due to sickness I just gave up until this year when it started leaking water and would not cool. Called warranty company about repair on refrigerator and range. Tech responded and ordered parts. After a week the cooling problem was corrected but had to wait a week to replace ice maker and circuit board. Worked for 1 week and now there is no cooling ice or freezer. After repair last week the company that took over HH Gregg refused to repair the range and canceled the contract saying that it cost too much and sent a check for 279.00 refund. My advice is to never buy a Samsung Appliance and don't buy a warranty without having an attorney read it first.

Hello, we purchased the Samsung 30.5 CuFt French Door Refrigerator Stainless Steel Model Number RF31FMESBSR in June 2013. It looks like there is some manufacturing defect as we see the water leakage and rust on the backside of the refrigerator. Thus anyone else is facing similar issues? We had 1-year manufacturer warranty and 60 months protection plan from Home Depot; however, in this specific issue it was a little difficult to notice the problem since it was on the backside of the refrigerator and as you know how many people go and look at the backside of the refrigerator once its install. As per the Samsung service company, other consumers also had similar issues. However, Samsung is not taking any actions to resolve the issue citing the refrigerator is out of warranty.

We purchased Stainless steel kitchen appliances in 2016 and have nothing but issues. Bought an extended warranty and even they refuse to repair anymore. Refrigerator - stop making ice, didn't cool properly, buildup of ice under deli tray, door handle came off of freezer drawer. Microwave - not warm properly, some of features not working. Dishwasher - will not drain water proper or wash dishes efficiently (dirty after an entire cycle, motor keeps running).

I have contacted them. They only guarantee a year like most. That's why we got the extended warranty. Never experience such repairs. It's only been 3 yrs. Something is wrong with this picture. I have spoken to them and they have washed their hands. Even the warranty service man told me that they were bad manufacturers and that they get calls all the time back to back for same issues. Please YouTube the models before purchasing. We are out of $4000 basically. I filed a complaint with BBB. They need to stick with cellphones.

Let me add my voice to the other dissatisfied owners of a Samsung refrigerator. The ** ice maker freezes up about once a week. I have to use a hair dryer to thaw out the ice which is frozen in the rear of the icemaker. From the reviews here, I can see that this is a common problem with Samsung icemakers. I was in a Home Depot store recently and Samsung is still using the same design of icemaker. I hope people read the reviews written here and look to other companies. DO NOT PURCHASE A SAMSUNG!! I will never again buy ANYTHING manufactured by Samsung.
