Model RF27T5201SR/AA. My ice maker stopped working 3 months after purchase. The parts inside ice maker are plastic parts. I have had my refrigerator for 3 yrs, Nothing but trouble with the ice maker. So I reached out to the extended warranty div, they send someone out to fix the ice maker, 2 days later my refrigerator and freezer stops working and all the food has melted.
I have tried to set up appointments with Samsung and Geek squad, they set up an appt for someone to come out with a window from 8am-5pm 3 times to cancel each time! I am now on day 5 without a refrigerator. NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE SAMSUNG APPLIANCES! Oh and by the way I have 2 other family members who purchased this same garbage because I did and they are having ice maker issues as well. Customer service is the worst!

I hope a VP of Samsung's Appliance Division reads this. Knowing Samsung employees personally, I am appalled by what I am experiencing. I recently purchased a Bespoke refrigerator, range/oven, and dishwasher for the second time in 5 years. This time for a new kitchen. I am now on my 6th person tonight trying to rectify a situation. For the second time our Bespoke had a door dent from transit. The first one was replaced and now the second one needs to. I cannot get help from anyone to handle either replacing the door panel where it is dented or to ship a new unit. I prefer just a door panel so my kitchen installers can install the unit.
I have been in the phone for almost an hour repeating the same situation over and over. Each department explains that someone else needs to handle this situation. It goes on and on and one. On hold, checking something, wrong department, no case number. Samsung can't even rectify damage to their own product - hence a $2,700 unit with a dent twice and no one at Samsung can help.

I bought a Samsung side by side refrigerator, model RS28A500ASR, Manufacture date January 2024. S/N 0B804BBX104030M. I bought this for my garage to keep soft drinks and frozen food. The freezer side works fine so far but the refrigerator side freezes all the soft drinks. We had Samsung come out to repair 3 times. They finally said it was working as it should and my money is wasted as I can not use it for soft drinks. They blow up. I will attach pictures if possible. Even when set in the 40's for a high temperature it still freezes them. They need to take this back and refund my money. It is a waste. I will never buy Samsung again. CLS

We bought a Samsung refrigerator approximately 3 years ago. The icemaker was in the door. We have had nothing but trouble the whole time. It continued to frost up and not release the ice. The first technician said that we were blocking the air flow by putting items on the top shelf. He said we needed to make the temp colder. Everything was like a block of ice and continued to frost up. Second tech said there was a problem with ice maker, would not make cubes, just crushed. Replaced part on 3rd visit. Still no cubes. Fourth tech said a different part needed to be replaced. Waiting for part. Ice maker frosts up, clogs the opening, only offers crushed ice and we still have not gotten it fixed.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I’m really fed up with this fridge today. We purchased a Samsung refrigerator in 2017, and it has been the worst refrigerator we’ve ever owned. The design makes it impossible to clean beneath the edges of the glass shelves, trapping food, liquids, and germs permanently—an incredibly unhygienic flaw. The ice maker doesn’t work, and most of the internal components, like the drawers, have broken over time. To make matters worse, today I noticed that one of the door holders is falling apart. Replacing these parts is outrageously expensive, and the materials are so thin and flimsy they break far too easily. Overall, the fridge is falling apart, and the cost of maintaining it is ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I am dad to say that this company do not care about the people who keep them in business, my refrigerator makes ice and freezes my food and vegetables in the fridge side. I spoke to Veronica in the presidential office. She said it’s the condenser, she sent different companies about 6 times and fridge still not working, I ask for my money back, she said no. I ask for a different fridge, she said no. They told me I open the fridge to often and leave it open for too long. I need to open the freezer quarter of the way, push my hand in and grab what I need, I need to make a mental pic or take a pic of the stuff in the fridge so I can know where things are, I never heard this in my life.
I won’t advise anyone to buy Samsung fridge. I think we should all get together and boycott this business. How a big multi-million company can do this is beyond me. I don’t wish bad on anyone but I do hope Samsung goes out of business very soon instead of cheating customers out of their money. It’s time I see a judge for this defective product and for stress, also for all the food I’ve lost. PLEASE DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG. PLEASE DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG. PLEASE DO NOT BUT SAMSUNG.

Five years ago we bought a Samsung RF261BEAESR refrigerator. I try to make the best consumer decision possible and a big issue with me is the environmental impact of an appliance relative to other models on the market. Unfortunately, we learned after the purchase of this refrigerator that Samsung does not use recyclable water filters. So every six months or so, we have to toss this heavy plastic cylinder into the trash. I have a problem with that - especially given that GE and other companies DO offer water filters that can be recycled. I would have never bought this refrigerator had I known this.
I contacted Samsung, and I was told that they would not do anything to address my concern. Go pound sand, in other words. I even reached out to USEPA, whose Energy Star designation adorns my refrigerator, and they did not seem to care. Great, you induce environmentally-conscious people to buy a frig thinking they are buying an environmentally-acceptable model because of the Energy Star designation, only to discover six months in that you will be generating plastic waste for as long as you have the refrigerator. Get with the times, Samsung!

We called Samsung, they told us there is a 'SPECIAL' line for product sold by Leon's. Fellow we talked to on the phone said send photos. We did, he said not warranty but gave us the number of a company that handles their warranty.
We called them numerous times and left messages. Still haven't heard from them after 3 weeks of leaving messages, turns out it's a one man operation, and not a very good one obviously. Third party company said $140 and MUST pay thru an online app before they will schedule.
Samsung would not stand behind what they told me. After 1 week first person came to diagnose only, no attempt to repair. After another week repairman came and said if what he did didn’t fix it, it can’t be fixed and Samsung will replace the refrigerator. Still didn’t cool, called Samsung, told what repairman said, they said “wrong”. They have to send another person has to come and determine if can be fixed or needs replaced.
That will be in 13 days! Who knows how much longer we will be without a refrigerator. Throughout this ordeal I was told 4 different times I would be receiving a call from a supervisor by the end of the day and that NEVER happened. On Friday November 15th I received an automated call reminding me of my repair appointment for November 12th!!!! Unbelievable, but true.

I’ve owned the French four door counter depth for over a year. Pros: I’m extremely happy with it. I love that the ice cube drawers are inside and it makes two size cubes. I like the water pitcher inside. I do not use the fruit infusion. I do have a whole house filter, but the filtered water from the fridge is excellent. I’ve had others say so too. I love the produce drawers and I never have my vegetables become icy and everything in the fridge stays cold. I like the deep shelves on the doors.
Negs: I was not happy that the manual is only available as a download pdf. It doesn’t explain any maintenance. I’m not thrilled with the flexibility of positioning the shelves. I don’t like the one weird shelf that slides back for taller items. It disengages when too much is sitting on it. I was worried because I read poor reviews on other older models, but it this one holds out I will be totally pleased. It can hold a lot of food and it’s easy to see what is in the fridge. I don’t mind having to open the door for water or ice.

I would never again buy a Samsung side by side refrigerator freezer. The condensation drain freezes and ice builds up in the bottom of the freezer compartment. It then melts and runs out of the freezer onto the floor. The only way to fix this issue is to unplug the unit, remove the interior back of the freezer, melt the ice blocking the drain, and put everything back together.
This used to happen a few times a year, but has got consistently worse, and I have to clean the ice off of the bottom of my freezer every single day. Samsung is absolutely no help. Samsung elected to use substandard plastics resulting in known problems with broken internal parts including doors, shelves, and bins. Failure of the ice maker occurred within two years and the diodes in the digital display showing temperature have failed making them useless. On the bright side, the compressor and electrical components have been dependable for multiple years.
Samsung also sold us a DVD player, and microwave oven that failed in under two years. Eventually I looked into buying a replacement shelf and realized there was a whole other shelf designed to wrap around the water pitcher that I had never gotten. I called Samsung again to confirm this was an actual part that was supposed to come with the refrigerator. Samsung confirmed that it was a missing part but that I would have to purchase it because it has been more than a year. I am supposed to pay a second time for a part I didn't get to begin with?! I would like to share my negative experience with Samsung, not their products, but the Company and how they handle my issue. My out of warranty refrigerator had a problem, so I called Samsung for service; they sent Home Service Network, and after checking for what was wrong with my unit, explained to me that I needed two parts replaced; the technician also told me that they could not fix it because they only service in-warranty products; and that’s where the problem lies! I paid them the diagnostic fee and called Samsung. A representative sent another company, Tekon to fix the issue. They came out twice: the first time to replace that part and unfairly had to pay the service fee again, but since the unit was not working after that repair, they came back again and told me that to fix it it would cost around $1,000, and also told me that it would make more sense to buy a new one.
In the midst of all this, I was going back and forth, via email, with Samsung CEO. I wanted them to refund me the second service fee of $120, since it was Samsung who sent the first service company by mistake. The CEO pretty much brushed it under the carpet and I was left feeling extremely dissatisfied with their handling of the situation and found their professional ethics to be misplaced! Moral of the story: Please be careful when dealing with Samsung about any service you might need for all your out of warranty Samsung products.

Created another ticket and was told my house had been flagged for infestation of roaches. I tried to calmly explain there was a misunderstanding or someone mixed up houses. Refused to come back until we had in writing from pest control. Fine, we have active pest control service and provided in writing. I explained I had paperwork from pest control stating absolutely no indication of roaches in our house and they didn’t care. Asked to talk to a manager and they literally told me there is no one else to talk to. I was so over the whole thing so I decided to hire a repairman who told me the compressor was broke and it would be at least $1k plus. We bought a Samsung french door refrigerator 7 years ago. Recently we got a lot of water inside and it leaked out the refrigerator and onto the floor. Calls to samsung were to no avail. Looked on YouTube and found out that there is a known icing issue that allows ice to build up and eventually melt to water and flood the fridge. The supposed fix is to buy a small clip, take the whole fridge apart, allow to defrost and remove inner back panel to install the clip. Do not know if that will work but did it anyway. Huge project that samsung should really pay for as the defect is known and was most likely happening when new though we did not notice until now. The fridge is a piece of junk and not supported by samsung so buyer beware...

Samsung called before refrigerator delivery to review installation process and preparations, which was nice. During the call I asked if the install team would come with the water hose and hook up the water drinking and ice. The representative indicated yes. The install team arrived and removed and set the new refrigerator well, however, they started to leave without completing the installation of the water. They said they did not have hose to install.
We contacted Samsung and requested someone to return to complete the install. No water or ice for 8 days now. Having to go buy ice for scheduled gatherings. After two additional calls they indicate the best they can do is to schedule the remaining install 14 days out, a total of 22 days from initial install. This is very poor service, given this is at best 1.5 hour job to go get the hose and install it. Heading to the store now to get the part and complete this myself. Not a happy customer. I hope the refrigerator is a higher quality.

I bought Samsung hub in 2017, it’s going the 7th year and it stop working. We called the Samsung care support center and we were scheduled an appointment. Suppose one to two days but the technician showed up after seven days. The technician put the refrigerant with dye to find if the refrigerant is leaking or it is a faulty compressor and told us to observe if the temperature goes up. The technician was from home technology solutions.
The temperature was not keeping up so we contact home technology solutions and explain that the temperature is stays and the compressor is making a loud noise. They said that someone will call us but it’s been three days no one contacted. This the their promise of quick service. The other thing is about Samsung refrigerator is that since we bought it we had problems with frosting of the ice maker. Samsung attracts customers with cosmetic beauty but in fact it has problems with piping leaking refrigerant and faulty compressor. Why is Samsung putting the filter, control panel and some other large component in the top section of the fridge, impairing efficient use of upper shelf and why do all the shelves have a gap large enough for a slim size drink to fall to the shelves below. The shelves in almost all fridges meet the back of the fridge with NO large gaps. Beware of Samsung looks good on the outside but not efficient for daily use.

I tried all troubleshooting recommendations to no avail. The icemaker in my fridge is either defective OR Samsung icemakers are not built to last more than a couple years. When I called Samsung support they offered to replace the part but I would have to pay for them to send someone to install. Their customer service is poor, stating the refrigerator is out of warranty but the issue is never rectified properly. They want the consumer to pay a $120 consultation + parts + labor. Now this is the third time I have had to schedule a tech for the same issue and the third time I have had to take off because in Samsung infinite wisdom you do not know your time window until the day of the appointment. While I work in the engineering world this is insane if I told a client you will not know until that morning what time they would call someone else. Updated on 09/09/2024: I purchased a brand-new Samsung fridge, which was delivered on June 12th. By July 30th, the cooling system had already failed, and it took Samsung until August 6th to send a technician, leaving me with hundreds of dollars’ worth of spoiled food during that six-day wait. To make matters worse, the fix didn’t even last two weeks. The fridge broke down again on August 18th, and it took Samsung another eight days to get a technician out, only for them to declare the fridge defective and in need of a replacement or refund.
Since August 26th, my husband and I have been stuck in a ridiculous back-and-forth with customer service, trying to get a refund for a fridge that cost us over $3,000, plus an additional $600-$800 in spoiled food (not to mention the money wasted eating out because we can’t store fresh food at home). Despite all this, Samsung continues to drag their feet, ignoring our requests for updates and prolonging this absurd situation. How on earth is it taking more than two weeks to process a refund for a fridge that was clearly defective from the start? Their own technician confirmed it’s unfixable due to multiple leaks, and yet here we are, still fighting to get our money back. And when we ask about compensation for all the perishable goods we lost, we get the runaround from customer service, with no clear answers.
My husband calls for updates every other day, and now customer service either hangs up on him or refuses to speak while he can hear them whispering in the background, treating us like we’re fools. Samsung is blatantly avoiding responsibility, dragging this out, and completely disregarding the inconvenience and hardship we’ve faced from being without a functioning fridge for nearly a month and a half. This is beyond unacceptable.
Original Review: I recently purchased a Samsung fridge, and it has been nothing but trouble. The unit has already broken down twice, with both the fridge and freezer failing to cool properly. This has resulted in hundreds of dollars worth of spoiled food, which is beyond frustrating. To make matters worse, Samsung's customer service is terrible. They lack any sense of urgency or concern, leaving me without a functioning fridge for days on end. Each time I’ve called, I've been met with unhelpful representatives and slow responses, making the whole experience even more frustrating. I regret choosing this product and brand, and I strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing a Samsung fridge. After tearing the back apart inside, I saw a rusted out tray that was meant to catch moisture and divert to a bottom outside tray where it should evaporate from the fan. My fix lasted another 5 years and now it is so bad that water is pouring out the door into the floor. Other Samsung owners have had that same problem.
Also, the ice maker below in the freezer is poorly designed. When you open the freezer and the tray is filled, it pushes ice cubes out the back of the tray and they fall behind the drawer to sit there forever. It is nearly impossible to reach behind the drawer to retrieve them. Lid for the deli/pantry drawer has broken at the hinges. Pantry drawer is also cracked. Quite a few quality issues.

Then during the months between, we chip the ice off from the back of our freezer below to try and keep the refrigerator working. Unless you want a nightmare of a refrigerator, DO NOT GET A SAMSUNG. We have been told many times, that Samsung refrigerators are only built to last ten years. Don’t get me started on the Samsung microwave. That piece junk had to be replaced after 6 years.

We bought the 25 cu ft Samsung French Door, with 2 drawers at Lowe's in Oct. 2016. It was Model RF25HMEDBSR. At first, it worked great, but less than two years later, in February, 2018, it started making a rattling noise. This turned out to be a frozen fan blade, and the sensor temp and panel were replaced. Then in Aug. 2021, the ice maker just quit, and it was replaced. Thankfully, we purchased the five-year extended warranty, and these two services were covered. BUT, then in July, 2023, the not quite two-year-old ice maker, quit and now, we have an 8-year-old refrigerator, out of warranty and the ice maker is still not working properly. Either the ice maker just stops making ice, or the ice melts and I have to keep mopping up water that drips onto the interior door shelves.
Today, it was nearly a full inch. We have tried fixing this ourselves; we shut off the water, then a month later, turn it back on. It works for a while, and then we go through the whole routine again. For the time being, we have ice, but the question is, for how long? This was not a cheap appliance and we are so frustrated that we are looking at replacing an 8-year-old appliance, that should have lasted at least twice as long. Oh, and it will NOT be a Samsung. They should stick to Smart TV's and leave the appliances to the professionals.

The cost of the labor for changing the compressor almost 700$ I believed almost same price pf the compressor and I need to buy valve, dryer and even written in the report not guarantee if it will fix. What's the point of wasting money and you're not giving me assurance? How many times would I will call service for this fridge. I chose this fridge thou it's pricey because of the quality. Original Review: I didn't expect this fridge that we purchased a year ago appeared this kind of problem. Fridge was Hi end. Cost me almost 4000$ and all of the sudden for no reason, no error or code display on the monitor. When I called Samsung they said I no have warranty anymore so they told me to call the Samsung service center and they suspected that it's the board and some other parts and would cost me almost 1000$. I would accept if this fridge is really overused that I've been overusing for over 3-5yrs but No. It's only 1yr and 8months. Barely used because most likely in a day weren't at home. This is the worst refrigerator I’ve ever had! The picture that fills inside the refrigerator constantly leaks. I’ve had it replaced and it still leaks. To remove the shelf where the vegetable drawers are located is almost impossible. When you’re trying to clean it, the clips break almost every time. The vegetable drawers also have an inherent flaw, where moisture and debris gets inside of the handles where the drawers are. And to clean them, you have to forcefully take them apart and hope you don’t break them in the process. The Samsung how to’s are garbage, as is their customer service. I had to use YouTube in order to figure out how to “take apart” the refrigerator in order to clean it.

I bought a Samsung Showcase 28 Cu. Ft French Door refrigerator in 2019. With the warranty I paid over $3000 for this fridge. Now, the freezer has stopped working. I paid for one of their service technicians to come out and diagnose the issue. He said the issue is due to a Freon leak and he does not know where exactly the leak is coming from. He would have to tear down the entire fridge to find the leak. This would cost up to a thousand dollars to fix and there was no guarantee that it would even be fixed. This cost is non-refundable.
I called Samsung customer service and they were of no use. The fridge has a 5 year warranty for a Freon/gas leak and the freezer broke just 2 months after the warranty ended. Are you telling me that Samsung could not honor this??? This is totally unacceptable. I did not budget for a new fridge at this time as I expected this current fridge would have lasted for several more years. IT WAS NOT CHEAP!!! If you are considering buying this fridge, please don't. I also did not load freezer with much food so it worked. Then a few weeks ago it stopped working completely. I troubleshooted with Samsung who then said it needed repair. It was probably a failed due to the symptoms it manifested. The repair would be almost $500.00 if this were the case.

We have the 4-door smart refrigerator. Anyone who purchases this refrigerator should be fluent in the Urdu language. If not fluent, be adept at understanding heavily accented English. Secondly, read very carefully the “lemon clause” in the manufacturer warranty. There are abundant design flaws and quality of construction issues with this refrigerator. Let’s start with the fact that it takes four hands (trust me) to get ice into a cup. You will need to put your cup down then use both hands the open the fridge, pull the drawer, retrieve the scoop and retrieve the ice. Then you need to get the ice into the cup and later pick up the cubes that fell on the floor. No big deal, right? The icemaker is prone to leaks and will turn the ice bin into a frozen block of ice. To get ice, you’ll need to take a time machine to 1965 and buy an ice pick. After repeated service calls for the same problem, you will be eligible for a full refund or replacement, but you need to ASK for it.

Simply placing the intake higher up the rear of the unit would've prevented the failure of our $800+ unit. Samsung French Door Model RF28R7201SR/AA Refrigerator Review. First I would like to say that we had several Samsung refrigerator/freezer before. We liked the old unit because we liked several features including:
2) The large fruit and veggie drawers Which I would like even bigger
3) The sandwich drawer (the separators are unnecessary)
4) The large top shelf
5) The size of the door shelves were big and fit my foods perfectly
6) The freezer had a small basket in the freezer door for small freezer things
7) The freezers 3 compartment including drawer
There were two big problems with that refrigerator: The first one was problems with the ice cube maker. It would freeze over and not work. We replaced several parts several times, but the problems continued. The 2nd problem was the fridge and freezer would freeze up with ice and overflow ater on the floor constantly We defrosted the entire thing painstakingly taking apart the whole freezer and syphoning out the water and using blow dryers. The problem continued but got more frequent until the entire refrigerator stopped cooling enough to use. So, we were not anxious to get another Samsung refrigerator. But, the place we bought it from said that Samsung fixed both problems and if I liked the previous features, which I did then the new version of the same refrigerator would make us very happy.__________________________________________________________________________________
We bought the Model RF28R7201SR/AA. I have complaints and I have never felt a need to voice my complaints before, but Samsung really messed up certain things about the new one.
1) The icemaker is SLOW and the ice is SMALL(Always crushed) and the water shoots out of my water glasses so badly that I had to change to a different type of water glass2) The water tray on the dispenser has no top tray and there is not one to purchase. Water is constantly leaking and running down the front of the fridge. We get hard water marks quickly and BADLY which looks terrible
3) The Ice maker takes away a lot of door space which causes the left door’s top 2 shelves to be almost useless
4) The adjustable shelves do not allow for a large top shelf or a tall top shelf which makes it impossible to put a tall bottle there. The left top shelf hasn’t broken yet, but bends down and looks unstable
5)The Freezer does not have the small shelf that attaches to the door that was very handy for small things not to get lost in the bigger part of the freezer
6) Lastly the top of the refrigerator is not flat so things fall into it, which is annoying.
I have had this refrigerator for over 6 months now, and still find these qualities so bad that I’m writing to you to get this off my chest and in hopes that you may have cured some of these problems. I E- If anyone knows of new a water tray, now have a small basket for the freezer drawer, have a new ice dispenser that can be put in…, etc. This is the last Samsung appliance we will buy after being a loyal customer for 25 years.

Guaranteed Replacement Date: February 14
First Payment Withdrawn: March 3
This review meticulously outlines the significant issues encountered in the replacement process for a defective Samsung refrigerator, emphasizing the inefficacies within Samsung’s customer service framework and the financial inconveniences imposed on the customer due to the organization's administrative shortcomings.
Service and Process Failings:
Miscommunication and Lack of Follow-through: A clear commitment was made for a replacement delivery by February 14. Confirmatory discussions on February 13 with customer service led to reassurances of the replacement's dispatch. These assurances were invalidated the following day when the refrigerator did not arrive. Further inquiry revealed a concerning lack of internal documentation or adherence to established follow-up protocols by the representatives.
Inadequate Resolution Efforts: Subsequent engagements with Samsung’s service representatives have consistently resulted in promises of escalation without any tangible progress. Notably, an interaction preceding the expected delivery involved direct verification with the shipping company, yet failed to culminate in the delivery of the refrigerator. Promises of an emailed summary of the discussions remained unfulfilled.
Financial Imprecations: Ahead of the resolution of the replacement issue, notification of the impending start of the payment plan was received, leading to proactive communication with the financing company to halt payments until delivery. Despite these efforts, the first installment was withdrawn on March 3, highlighting a disconnection between Samsung’s customer service assurances and its financial operations, particularly given the absence of the product from the customer’s premises.
Engagement with the BBB: The situation's escalation to the Better Business Bureau has initiated an investigation, underscoring the severity of the customer service failings and the need for an external review to prompt a resolution. However, as of this writing, the investigation remains ongoing, with no definitive resolution provided to the customer.
Professional Reflections:
The series of interactions with Samsung’s customer service representatives, characterized by confirmed assurances yet unmet delivery and resolution commitments, raises critical concerns regarding the effectiveness of Samsung’s customer engagement and resolution protocols. The automated and non-committal responses from the financing arm further exacerbate the situation, emphasizing a need for a more integrated and responsive approach to customer service and financial management within the company.
Conclusion:
The ordeal experienced in attempting to secure a replacement for a defective refrigerator, compounded by premature financial obligations for an undelivered product, paints a concerning picture of Samsung’s customer service operations. This review calls attention to the necessity for systemic improvements within Samsung, aimed at enhancing transparency, accountability, and efficiency in customer service delivery. The involvement of the BBB underscores the critical nature of the issues at hand, advocating for a swift and customer-centric resolution to this protracted saga.

When I called for repair they made me go thru checking to see if the doors and drawers were shut, check lights to make sure it was getting electricity, turn off the breaker, wait 5 minutes, turn back on the breaker, reset temperatures, then if in SIX HOURS I still had a problem call the number that was texted to me. That number was out of order. I had to start all over with the trouble call. I finally got a ticket number, and someone would call me with a date for repair. They called and advised that it would be a week and a half before a repairman could be sent. I told them that was not satisfactory, but accepted the situation.
When the "repairman" showed up he had a camera and NO PARTS. He would order the parts and I should have a repairman with parts back in 3 to 10 days. Samsung did call to advise that my appointment would be a week and a half away. When I complained that was totally unacceptable, they cancelled my repair ticket and I had to start all over again. I still do not have a repair date.

In 5/2020 I bought a Samsung 4 door flex from Costco. Second year Ice/Water maker stopped working. Then this year about a month ago I called Samsung because the unit stopped freezing and getting cold. They sent out a tech through Service Quick and I paid 140 dollars to diagnose it. Said compressor. After going back and forth with samsung about being under warranty I got them to agree that they were reponsible for repair. Tech came out a week later worked half hour and left. Never got cold. Called Samsung back, said they would send tech out and have to pay another 140.
I have the original receipt, sent pictures of decals and Samsung now saying I'm not entitled to a partial refund if I got rid of the fridge. I set the fridge on the curb because I had to get a new one. One whole month no refrigerator for my family. Now they say the fridge needs to be in my possession or I'm not entitled to anything. What about the constant inconvenience and their trash product. Not working after only 4 years! Do not buy Samsung.

After calling Samsung and defrosting my door, icemaker and wiping up water and frozen ice all the time underneath the bottom drawer then Samsung doesn’t wanna do anything about it except send me to a technician that I have to pay more money for someone or something I already know is wrong And they know what’s wrong but I have to spend money to fix something myself after spending thousands of dollars for something that don’t last two years…. Do not buy anything from Samsung. Make this company go broke!!!

Replace fan in freezer, compressor, coils went bad within 13 months. Samson would only pay for parts. Forced to pay labor $650. Ended up buying a new fridge. Do not buy anything Samsung. Poor quality. Junk! They do not stand by their product. They know it's junk. It is my opinion this company is scamming the public and should be sued in a class action lawsuit. I lost over $1,650 for a junk fridge, including hundreds of dollars of frozen foods lost all in the trash.

I recently made the regrettable decision to purchase a Samsung refrigerator, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. The primary culprit behind my dissatisfaction is the ice maker, which seems to have a mind of its own always frozen and never works. This was the main reason I bought it to, have an ice dispenser. From day one, the ice maker has been nothing but trouble and only worked for a few weeks. The worst part is that the refrigerator inside somehow has water and ice making their way under the drawer, turning what should be a convenient feature into a constant source of frustration. The water under the drawer has become a breeding ground for mold, and no matter how many times I clean it, the problem persists. It's as if the engineers at Samsung forgot to test their product in a real-life setting, leaving me to deal with the consequences of their oversight.
The customer service experience has been equally disappointing. When I reached out for assistance with the ice maker issues, I was met with indifference and vague promises of a technician visit. Weeks later, the problems persist, and I'm stuck with a malfunctioning refrigerator that has become an eyesore in my kitchen. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of Samsung refrigerators. It's clear that quality control is not a priority for this company, and their lackluster customer support only adds insult to injury. I regret my purchase and would strongly advise anyone considering a Samsung refrigerator to think twice before making the same mistake I did.

Samsung has a terrible warranty. We've had food spoilage due to a faulty part on our refrigerator. We bought this new about 11 months ago. We tried to make a claim and went through all the proper channels, but we couldn't get Samsung to respond, until finally after much effort we were able to talk with the support team. The support team then didn't return our calls after repeated attempts, we got a reference number and they supposedly were checking into the problem. They again, didn't get back to us even after that.
We finally made a reference number request on texting and were responded with: "We're are sorry after checking, your claim on spoiled food isn't valid and isn't covered under the warranty." This is after we had to request someone contact us. They were not forthcoming into the possible reason this was not handled by the warranty! Why even have a warranty if a claim isn't valid? The Samsung support group is the worst we've had to deal with, they never get back to you and it's always someone else's problem. We even had a issue with our Water Pitcher as it was leaking. We just wanted it replaced and again, no one was there to help.
