I have owned multiple Samsung appliances, washer, dryer, TVs, and most recently, a refrigerator. Live and learn. The washer was repaired, due to Samsung's recall, by a satellite TV company! Ended up throwing it away. Managed to give the dryer away even though it needed repaired. The TVs, both got thrown away after 3 years of use. Was told the processors were junk. Now the fridge. Since day 1, the icemaker never worked properly. When I called about it, Samsung told me the entire fridge had already been replaced! News to me! It had not! It was simply repaired once, but somehow, that's not what they recorded. So, watch my trash for another junk appliance with the Samsung name on it! Never again! At this point, I wouldn't buy anything made by Samsung ever again. Buyer beware. Once is bad luck. 5 things in a row, with the same outcome,,,? You decide.

My refrigerator is just slightly over 1 year old and I was replacing the water filter for the 2nd time when it started spraying water all over my kitchen and into the deli drawer. I called Samsung and told them and they said to turn the water off behind the fridge which I did. Then I cleaned up the water and promptly called my serviceman I have used for years to come out and take a look. He told me that the water filter housing was bad. So I researched online and fond out I am not the only one who had this problem.
Weeks later it is still slowly leaking in my deli drawer. I called Samsung this morning to complaining and they told me my only choice was to replace the housing (which is out of stock everywhere -- guess why!!!) and it will cost $500+ for just the part. That doesn't include labor to install it. With so many people having problems with the ice makers and water filters Samsung needs to do a recall and replace the part for free!!! I will not buy another Samsung product ever again.

Worst refrigerator I’ve ever owned (I’m over 70 years old). Bought Samsung on its reputation for electronics. They sure don’t know how to make quality appliances. After 2 years needed repair on refrigerator area for making horrible noises. Seems they put sensors right where the water collects. Several hundred dollar repair. Then ice maker started freezing up and not producing cubes or cubes were slushy when it did produce. Called Samsung for repair technician and they made me go through some steps that they ASSURED me would work. It didn’t. Called back for repair technician and CS rep told me the same thing. Would NOT send repair technician. No reputable repair company will work on Samsung and apparently Samsung won’t either. Just replaced the Samsung piece of shit with a Frigidaire. So happy with new fridge. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE!!!!

We had water leaking & freezing in all compartments. I've had no ice for years & we made renovations so I can get a new w drawers. This is going to the dump. Warning, do not purchase Samsung refrigerators. Model RF22R7351SR/AA. I would give zero stars if it were an option. Service Quick is a horrible company. My ice maker stopped working and Samsung agreed to exchange the ice maker. After the ice maker was changed we woke up to a totally defrosted freezer and refrigerator. Service Quick returned and said the unit was not repairable. The refrigerator is only 6 years old and just out of warranty. Samsung stated they can do nothing to compensate me for the loss of this refrigerator even after the issues only began after they installed a new ice maker. Customer service was horrendous. Buyer beware!!

My 9 1/2 year old Samsung refrigerator stopped cooling below 50 degrees and the food contents inside spoiled. I called 1-800-SAMSUNG to get it repaired. Samsung's OWN website FALSELY adverstises a 90-DAY REPAIR WARRANTY GUARANTEE!! I paid $495.00 for the repair, and 78 days later, the SAME EXACT ISSUE came back and when I called 1-800-SAMSUNG, they opened another repair ticket, HOWEVER Samsung's Authorized Service Center (ASC) called me to schedule an appointment, they said it would cost ANOTHER $495.00?!? I said SAMSUNG has a 90-DAY REPAIR GUARANTEE and the ASC said, "Sorry, we only offer 60 DAYS!!"... SAMSUNG POLICY IS BOGUS, ILLEGAL, AND CRIMINAL!! LIARS!!

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator model RF25HMEDBSR in 2019. It cost about $3000. I have had nothing but expensive problems with it. I’ve had the ice maker replaced 3 times. I had to replace an entire shelf because a small plastic piece that attached this shelf to another shelf and you can’t just replace the plastic piece. I had to replace the door flapper. Total charges for all repairs were about $2000. I should have purchased a new refrigerator before now. The ice maker still does not work correctly. I finally went ahead and bought a GE refrigerator. I would NEVER recommend a Samsung appliance to anyone. Such a bad experience BBB.

Do not buy a Samsung Refrigerator!!! After a Recall on the icemaker, a paid service call and now they want to “fix” it again with a third service call. The icemaker leaks and we can not get the ice tray out. (Frozen shut). The flex drawer is partially frozen and the freezer drawer is frozen shut. Have to keep a towel on the floor. Eventually, the water was turned off.

These refrigerators with ice makers are absolutely terrible. I paid almost $3,000 for this Samsung fridge, and it has been one of the worst purchases I’ve ever made. The quality is unbelievably poor. Almost every plastic part inside the fridge has cracked and broken into pieces, and the ice maker has already been replaced three times. Three times. And guess what? The same problem keeps happening.
When I called customer service again, they told me I would have to pay for another repair because they don’t guarantee their replacement parts. Think about that — they replace a defective part and then refuse to stand behind it when it fails again. Even the technician who came to fix the ice maker told me this problem is “normal” with Samsung refrigerators. If that’s normal, then Samsung clearly has a serious quality problem. Save yourself the money, stress, and frustration. Stay far away from Samsung refrigerators. Cheap materials, constant problems, and terrible customer service.

We bought a counter-depth French door refrigerator in 2022. It is not truly counter depth as the thickness of the doors makes it nearly standard depth. Opening, both stores completely is impossible.Because the doors bump into the counters. The icemaker is terrible, giving you air filled ice, which melts almost immediately in any beverage. In addition, the ice maker continually froze over forcing me to use a blow dryer or heat gun on a low setting in order to remove the ice bin to get some ice cubes. Samsung customer service told me to completely shut off the fridge and let everything defrost, which is not an option. If that's the only refrigerator you have in the house. And it's summertime, and nowhere else to put perishables. Ridiculous.
After calling them and texting with them no less than ten times I wrote a scathing review. And they finally sent someone to replace the ice maker. The icemaker worked fine until just recently, but the freezer kept frosting over causing food to go slightly soft. I made sure none of the vents were blocked. But it just kept happening. Now the icemaker is frosting over again. And it is again nearly impossible to get ice cubes because they just jam up inside the ice bin. Even though the refrigerator section works fine, and I love all the space, I'm getting rid of this piece of garbage because I've had it with Samsung products. It's hard enough finding a counter depth refrigerator but if I have to pay $5000 to replace it with a refrigerator that works, I will gladly do so.

I bought a Samsung refrigerator thinking that Samsung was top of the line. All I have is Samsung products in my house. Big mistake. The ice maker is a piece of junk. I have had it fixed or replaced at least 4 times and always breaks. Spent $3500.00 for this Samsung, and now I had to buy a counter top ice maker for my ice maker. Thank of that.

I know of at least four people that I have nothing but problems with their Samsung refrigerators. My daughter's under warranty Samsung froze up. Samsung referred Conn's appliance from Sarasota. Repairman said fan quit working which caused the refrigerator to freeze. After thawing refrigerator out there was a water leak which was caused by refrigerator freezing up. Technician forgot to turn water off knowing there was a leak and flooded our house. Samsung refused to help stating that we used a approved aftermarket water filter. I would highly recommend never purchase anything from Samsung again because they do not back their product. I will be writing a lot more reviews on a lot more different websites stating that Samsung is a rip-off.

Don't buy Samsung products, cheap quality, high price. I bought a Samsung Refrigerator in September 2024 for $950.00 from Best Buy's website because I wanted to replace my white Kenmore Refrigerator with a Stainless Steel refrigerator. On January 2026, the top freezer and bottom refrigerator completely stopped cooling costing me hundreds in loss of food and major inconvenience, the refrigerator was down for a week. Luckily, I still had my white Kenmore Refrigerator in the garage and was able to still have a refrigerator I could use but had to go up and down stairs for every item I needed. I called Samsung customer service and they sent a Technician out which took a couple days and the technician said that the Inverter Board and Inverter compressor had gone bad.
I was charged $140 for the diagnosis and another $150 to replace the damaged parts. I requested that Samsung cover the costs since this was clearly manufacturer defects and poor quality if after only 2 years the Refrigerator already stopped working? Ridiculous. I requested 2 times that a Samsung manager call me to refund me the cost for the repair and no one ever called me. I will never buy Samsung products again. I have always bought Kenmore Refrigerators and never had a problem with their quality, in fact the Kenmore still works great after 10 years!

My Samsung refrigerator is awesome EXCEPT for the Ice maker. I have owned this refrigerator for 5 years and it is beautiful (stainless) and everything else works great. I understand most all of their refrigerators have ice maker issues which is very disappointing Samsung won't stand behind. Ours quit working within a year and has never worked again no matter what I have tried. I have to fill the ice bucked with my CHEAP refrigerator in the basement that is 20 years old and still works great. If it wasn't for the Ice machine I would love it but will never buy a Samsung refrigerator again.

My Samsung refrigerator has been okay until about 3 years of ownership the ice maker started freezing up and not producing ice any longer. After doing research about this I discovered it is a common problem with their refrigerators and they have had a class action law suit about it. Even with all of that, after calling customer service, they are not willing to repair the problem. It is still a fairly new refrigerator and the ice maker is no good. I would not recommend them based on all of that.

I bought a Samsung washing machine, dryer and a refrigerator at Lowe’s about two years ago. The washer broke down and a part couldn’t be found but I found one on eBay that was refurbished. A local technician replaced the part for me, but made it clear that he doesn’t usually work on Samsung‘s. The Refrigerator freezer stop freezing. And to my surprise Samsung doesn’t offer any service in the area where I live. They said I had to find a local technician. Problem is, local technicians don’t work on Samsung. Now I know why. I bought a Frigidaire to replace the broken Samsung refrigerator.

After one month I purchased a new refrigerator and moved the Samsung. When they came back to fix it they claimed I caused the damage when it was moved. Absolutely crazy, the came back to fix it so they know it was already not working. Samsung will not stand behind their products.

Continual problems with French door refrigerator ice maker that Samsung won't stand behind their poor design and repair because it is past the 1 yr warranty period. I have also seen the class action lawsuit for this known poor design issue and they state they cannot comment on legal matters. After much back and forth, they said our model qualifies for a $300 e-coupon for purchase of a new unit. I indicated if Samsung is not willing to stand behind defective designs and product we will not spend another dollar with anything Samsung. Admits issue by offering $300 e-coupon but won't fix problem. Many issues with last 2 sets of Samsung washer/dryer that we moved to another brand also. Never another dollar on anything Samsung!

## **PUBLIC REVIEW / CONSUMER WARNING**. I want to share my recent experience with **Samsung** and **Best Buy** so other consumers can make informed decisions before purchasing appliances from either company. I purchased a Samsung refrigerator from Best Buy in December. Within **30 days**, the freezer failed, followed shortly by the refrigerator. When I contacted Best Buy for help, they told me to contact Samsung. Samsung walked me through a self‑diagnostic and confirmed the unit needed repair. They scheduled a technician for **January 28, 2026**, then changed the company and date to **January 30, 2026**. When I called the new company, **Unique Repair**, they told me they had canceled the appointment with Samsung entirely.
I contacted Best Buy again, and they still refused to help—telling me I had to go through Samsung. After nearly **50 minutes** on the phone with Samsung, they scheduled yet another repair company, but I was told it would take **two more business days** just to find out who and when. Meanwhile, I’ve been without a working refrigerator or freezer. I’ve lost **several hundred dollars’ worth of food** and **medications that required refrigeration** because neither company could coordinate a simple warranty repair.
The lack of accountability, communication, and customer care from both Samsung and Best Buy has been unacceptable. Based on this experience, I strongly caution other consumers to think twice before purchasing Samsung appliances or relying on Best Buy for support. No customer should be left without a working refrigerator for weeks while being bounced back and forth between two companies. I am still waiting for a confirmed repair date, replacement, or refund.

ALL FIVE OF MY BRAND NEW 2025 SAMSUNG PRODUCTS BROKE IN 12 MONTHS!!!!! We renovated our kitchen in 2024 and had a brand new top of the line Samsung refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, range, and even washer & Dryer installed. Every single thing but the dryer has broken. The dishwasher leaks all over the floor and the sensor is bad. The fridge condenser died and Samsung said even though it's covered under warranty I have to pay for diagnostics (???), the range motor died and three of the pilots on the stove crapped out. Overseas cust service is garbage and unhelpful.
The local repair tech said he's never seen anything like this. He mentioned the wires that flex every time you open and close the fridge doors are as thin as your hair, as if intentionally made to fail. He said they are woefully under-guaged to carry electricity and the parts are made super cheaply. He said 90% of his calls are for Samsung junk and it has reached an all new level of crap manufacturing. He explained they are a tech company that primarily makes phones and they don't make appliances, they just slap their names on the cheapest junk they can possibly make. It's all about $$$ and they could care less about the customer or the environment they're filling with waste. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG!!!

It is On January 3, 2026 the family hub and internet quit working. In calling for repair (there is a sticker on the fridge saying 10 year warranty) I find that my warranty expired in September of 2025. I will never purchase Samsung appliances again. Samsung large appliance (refrigerator RF28R7351SG/AA. This was a defective fridge. Samsung customer service was very dishonest in the multiple recorded calls. Bottom line: The fridge was deemed unrepairable and was causing property damage. After case management and refund work were completed, a pro-rated refund was offered. However, it was punted to the right so many times, with Samsung denying any documentation, repair company not providing documentation despite videos, pictures. I provided all information needed to prove that it was designated unrepairable. Even provided a photo, video of the attempt to remove the inside label as requested, with the staff advising to send photo which occurred because it could not be removed, it was shredding.
Now, at the Supervisor level, I was denied any refund; the Sup'v even stated he was looking for something to deny my claim. Yes, when I stated it appears he was looking for something to deny a refund, he said Yes, I was, and I am denying. Samsung refuses to help any further per theirpolicy. Horrible experience related to a lemon fridge, an expensive lemon fridge. I was misled and treated unfairly. All documentation supported claims. They even gave a dollar amount early on.
Irreparable Reason by SamsungTech Support: The fridge was leaking related to the maker, the drain tubing was freezing up forcing water out of the evaporator and into the veggie and deli drawers, and the evaporator door in the back could not be removed as the bolt was stripped. The video and photos show that the liner was cracked and deemed unrepairable. The leaking damaged property. All of this was documented by the appliance repair company and submitted multiple times, every time Samsung stated they have not received anything from the service center. The service center even contacted Samsung who told them they did receive everything. It kept getting punted.
Finally, the refund dept stated they would issue the prorated refund of $971.69 and needed for me to remove the label and take a photo. The label would not come off without shredding, a paper label glued on. The agent stated to take a photo of the label and attach it to the text he sent, which I did. He knew I could not get it off as it just shredded. He advised that was OK, and said everything was finalized. Weeks later, and calls every week, the agents repeated that there is no documentation of a claim, repair or refund. The SUPV finally stated no refund, he was looking for a reason and the label was it. He did state (and recorded) that the fridge is proven irreparable. Then ended the call.

I purchased a Samsung Family Hub refrigerator through our builder. After the first year the refrigerator was replaced under warrant. After 2 years with the new refrigerator, the ice maker stopped working. At year 4 the freezer stopped freezing. When we contacted Samsung they made us go through a long process over the phone confirming that the freezer wasn't working before they would send a ticket to a repair company. In the large city of Denver, CO, there is only 1 authorized Samsung repair company which tells you a lot. After subpar service including being ghosted by this company for 2 weeks after a technician came to diagnose the issue and scheduled a part replacement that was within Samsung's 5 year warranty. Finally after 2 additional service appointments the issue was deemed unrepairable. Now the Freezer AND refrigerator no longer work.
In my mind this is a serious issue but not according to Samsung. I've been on the phone daily with 2 or more customer service agents from the service department and warranty department, wasting 2-3 hours of my day for them to ask me to provide the same thing over again, promising to help and follow up and then not doing so. I will never purchase a Samsung product again, especially not an appliance and would advise anyone out there to avoid this company. The least you can do as a business is to fix a problem you created. If you provide a warranty for defective products then stick to it. Samsung does not do that and they will never get my money again.

Yep I bought a 3 door Samsung too and the ice maker kept breaking. But I was smart and got the extended warranty at RC Willy and after 7 fixes they gave me a full credit for the refrigerator 5 years later. By the way Samsung was of no help. They know there's a problem and don't care. So, what did I do with my credit? I bought another Samsung. Why? Because it has better features and harder/thicker plastic than the others (LG, Kitchenaide, GE, etc). I got the one with the computer on the door. I'm excited. So glad I have at least 7 years with it before my warranty goes out. But I have a whole house warranty for $25 a month so maybe they will cover it when it's old. Wish me luck!
