The salesmen were knowledgeable and helpful, and the windows are beautiful! They kept their appointments and completed the job in less time than anticipated, and their crew was really great. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

I was very happy with the work done by the contractor. I was extremely unhappy about the management of the project. The contractors weren’t not made aware they needed to sister the boards in the roof attic. They did not come prepared because of that. They did get the wood during their lunch and do the work. But no one informed them ahead of time.

We are super happy with everything from Power. It exceeded our expectations of all fronts. Extraordinary customer service. Remodeling process was remarkably clear. Every step thorough and followed through on. Any question we had was answered in plain English not technical terms we couldn’t understand and explained to our complete satisfaction. Not to mention unbeatable product.

A salesman from Power Home Remodeling came to the house and I was impressed with their product. They also incorporated installation and removal, so, I went with them and purchased windows. The sales team member I worked with was excellent. He stayed in there, answered all my questions, and made me feel really good about the purchase. When their installation team came out, they finished quicker than I expected. I enjoyed their service and I'm enjoying my new windows. But the cost of the windows was very expensive.

Initial sales visit took very long with many promises, but no follow-up. The gutter replacement job was done well by the crew, but more expensive than comparable contractors. The final quality inspection person did not really inspect the job, but instead was very pushy in doing a high pressure sales pitch for roofing work. His attitude was extremely intrusive and aggressive. Requested a receipt after final payment, but still have not got it even after 2 weeks. Warranty document was provided only after asking for it and is generic and does not mention my specific project or address. As a Sam's Club customer I am very dissatisfied by service provided by Power Home Remodeling.

I had a wonderful experience with POWER Home Remodeling Group from the initial contact with Laramie, at my front door, to Tyler (foreman) and his team who actually installed the windows and then with Chris after my windows and front door had been in for a few days. Everyone I had contact with were very professional. They were willing to answer any questions and they wanted to make sure that everything was to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who asks. Thank you!!

Installation was professional and efficient. Only a couple of minor items were left: 1. failure to clean all the windows-there was glue residue from the labels on some of them, 2. one piece of aluminum cover was removed but not replaced.

Working with Power Remodeling turned out to be no work at all. They took care of everything from the initial visit to completion of the install. The installers were courteous, efficient and respectful of our property inside and out. The install was flawless and my new garden window is amazing. They brought all the materials necessary to modify my window to install the garden window. When they left everything was as they found it, NO trash or scraps anywhere. These windows are pretty much sound proof, we noticed a huge reduction in outside noise. The insulating quality is unbelievable. My furnace runs half as often as it used to and my utility bill is down 30%. The new windows are an investment that gives back every day.

I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS!!! We just spent $36,000 on windows, gutters, sliding glass doors and French doors and it is probably my biggest regret. The only thing we haven't called the service department for is the gutters and sliding doors! The same day they installed the windows we noticed a gap on the windows. We got 7 windows installed and 5 of them had the gap.
We called them and they came out and try to tell us that the gap was there for expansion? So I told him, "Ok. If that is the case then the other 2 are defective." When he noticed we weren't buying his bs he said, "Ok. I'll throw some caulk there and it will take care of it!" I was mad! We just paid these people $15,000 for these windows. There is NO WAY they should be caulking anything. We demanded new windows! We told him we were about to spend another $20,000 on doors so he said he would make a call to see what they can do, he came back in and said we will get new windows because those were indeed defective, so there he was caught in his lie about room for expansion.
1 week after that we got our new replacement windows and 2 weeks later they come and install our doors. We were so happy because the door is BEAUTIFUL!! The next day it rained and guess what we see. WATER IS LEAKING FROM ONE OF THE DOORS! Mind you we spent over $10,000 on these doors!!! Nothing should be coming through anywhere! We call them the next day to schedule yet another service.
2 days after we call about the door we notice that now there's a draft coming from the windows they replaced so we had to call them back and tell them they need to check that out too. They send the same man to check our doors. Now he tells us that the trim on the door wasn't sealed right and he's going to caulk it??? THEEEN he checks out the windows and his answer to the draft that we now feel but never felt before was because the opening where the window goes wasn't made correctly when they made the house!!! But if that was the case why didn't we feel it before?? And why would they install windows where they know they won't work?? This place is horrible! I wish we never used them. I would never recommend them. I wish I could give 0 stars!!

The window quality is great, I'm just not happy that many of my bricks were damaged and knocked loose in the process of removing my old windows, I guess I was expecting those to be fixed once the window install was done but it was not. Also the caulking on one of the windows already cracked and split. I'm very skeptical about going forward with the door installation, thinking about canceling that job because I do not want any more damage done to my house. Finally, I was offered "more incentive" to leave a positive review on Google prior to the job being done but that's not right either, I will be going back and changing that to 2 or 3 stars.

The service we received from the Power salesperson to the installation team (Mr. Carlos ** and team) was impeccable. They took care to cover our floors and furniture so they wouldn't get dirty. After installing the windows they took a minute to go over them to make double and triple sure we were satisfied. They didn't have to because we're very satisfied. The patio slider was installed quickly, looked great and is a vast improvement over the previous one. Dillon and Chris were very patient with questions, concerns and the potential of pet care during the process was way above expectation. Joe and T answered my questions during the install and completed the project well in advance of what I anticipated. (We were between Nor'easters at the time.) Tom was able to tweak a couple of things that I was concerned about and provided information regarding the rest of the windows in the condo. I am looking forward to working with these gentlemen again in the near future.

The work was completed with quality that met expectations. The first crew (tear down siding and freeze boards) however was late or no show 3 times and the work was completed a few days late. Calls from the office were not received as arranged twice and I had to call to see when the crew was returning. The second crew (gutters and downspouts) was better (the third star) and while there was a lot of debris Shane came out and cleaned up most. He left my shovel damaged however. Overall though the folks were civil and apologetic.

The sales reps of Power Home Remodeling Group were going around in our neighborhood. They rang my doorbell and told me what they were about, and I let them in because I felt safe with them. They looked like they were techs. I got a patio door and four windows from Power Home Remodeling. The installers who came out to put these products in were great and they weren’t pushy on anything. They took care of everything that needed to be taken care of and they cleaned up after themselves. But the screen door wasn't closing, so I had to call a a couple of people to come and adjust and fix it, and I’m glad that has been taken care of. A guy had a display on Power Home Remodeling Group inside Sam’s. I told him that I may be interested in getting an estimate on having some work done so he set up a day for me to get an estimate and for the guy to come by. The sales rep was pleasant. He was here for hours and hours. At first, I was just gonna get the roof done. Then I got to thinking as well that I needed some windows, rain gutters, and a radiant barrier inside the attic so I had more than what I wanted. The installers did a good job, plus they were neat and made sure they had a cover for everything. Once they were through, they made sure everything was picked up. I was watching them do the work and I was impressed by how detailed they were and they made sure that everything was done correctly.
There were a couple of people who asked me who did the work and so I told them that it was Power Home Remodeling Group. They had never heard of them but I gave them their name and number. They may be interested in getting some work done around their house because when they were driving by, they saw the people working on my house and they admired the work that Power Home did.

Power Home Remodeling did 33 windows for the entire house and I paid $26,000, which was a bit much. They’re so pricey, but I’m satisfied with them. I wanted to wait, but when Mario was explaining everything to me, he said that if I didn't get the windows that day, it would cost more. I felt a little pushed by Mario and sometimes I feel like I should have investigated more into the pricing. Nonetheless, the installation was very fast and they did a great job. Power Home gave me good numbers, and considering the good quality of their products as well, I went ahead and purchased windows, sidings, gutters and doors from them. Their sales team described the products and did a demonstration of how everything works and how reliable they are. The installers came out a few times already for stuff that needed redoing, but they responded really well. Also, I had them come out with the project managers themselves, making sure everything is to my standard.

Power Home's sales process was rather high pressure and somewhat off-putting. Their sales reps were really extraordinarily good. The young man that did the sales job kept repeating that Power Home was one of the highest regarded companies by employees. But many of them used that as a hook in their sales approach and I would rather hear that the consumers held them with high regard. But a lot of those home repair outfits were fly-by-nights and Power Home's operation had a national rep which gives me a degree of confidence in them, so I bought into it.
The installation team was very professional. We had our roofing done in one day, and also some gutter replacement and attic insulation. Then they would be coming back to have the capping done around the windows. It turns out, we have no problems with the jobs that they have done for us so far and Power Home had given me a lifetime warranty. I would recommend the work that Power Home has done, though there would always be that little weariness about their sales pitch.

There was a rep at Sam’s Club who made a presentation for Power Home. We liked it and we thought the guy was knowledgeable. The price was also reasonable. We had our roof redone years ago by Home Depot and it seemed like it was in the same ballpark. The first guy from Power Home was courteous and he asked me if I had something that I wanted to fix. I said the sliding door, so a person came out to do that. He went up to look on the roof and said that that should be the priority and not the sliding door. We talked about the attic. Our roof was relatively new, but the roof deck was falling apart. We had a ventilation issue that caused the roof deck to disintegrate, so they put nice shingles on a bad roof. Since then, we’ve had another guy back in here installing the backdoor and the front door. We’re doing the sliding door, the front door and the gutters on the house when they come back in a month or so. Nevertheless, the installers did fine.
However, there was an issue with the group that was picking up the dumpster but that wasn’t the installation people’s fault. They’re working with us to fix our yard but they got stuck in the driveway. It was icy and they slid off the driveway. And then, a second truck came to get the first truck out but it got stuck as well. Finally, the third truck came and got the first one out but when he tried to back up, they got the second truck out and he got stuck. It was a mess in the gutter. I got chewed up a little bit and they’re supposed to be helping us fix it. Also, there were two installation teams. The first one was a roofing crew and two or three days later, there was a solar eclipse team. Both teams did a nice job. They were quick, fast and cleaned up nicely. I was happy with that. If somebody asked about my roof, I would say Power Home did it and they did a nice job.

The Power Home Remodeling reps walked down the street and knocked on the door. They seemed to know what they were doing and they demonstrated their product well. We bought a new front door and a bunch of windows, and installing them was good. They scheduled it with us and then we did two different installation times. They did everything they said they were gonna do and even came back after the second time and fixed the stuff that they’d gotten hurried doing the first time. Their work was excellent quality. Both the windows and doors are fantastic, but they’re really expensive. They supposedly block 70% of the heat rays coming in from the sun. We did most of the east and west side where the most sun hits the house. It's really made our house airtight.

We sat down, talked about our different options, and walked around the house. They looked at everything and the sales rep gave a recommendation. He seemed very knowledgeable. They did three windows and the siding which is about the half the house. It took them three days which was about what we expected. We enjoyed our experience and they’re worth going with.

I had companies come into my house and looked at the windows and doors and gave me estimates. And it was either in March, October or November, which were the colder weathers to which I’m not very susceptible to. And I was wandering around in shorts and t-shirts and these guys noticed it was cold in my house and they were keeping their jackets on. And on their demonstrations, they kept showing me how well their windows and doors keep heating and keep you warm. Power Home was the only one that saw that I don’t get cold. So they told me that they could keep my house cool and keep it at the temperature that I wanted. And I like that they know their customer and that they didn’t try to show me all the demonstrations that they do for the normal windows and heat coming through.
My house had different types of windows. They had the fake plastic dividers in all the windows because all of them go almost from floor to ceiling. And then I had one sliding glass door in my basement replaced and another one in my family room. I got blinds that are installed in the actual doors, which you can raise and lower and turn them to deflect the light. During the installation, it helped that Power Home had one team whose job was canceled and so they ended up having two teams in my house, and then they were done. They also helped me with payment. I have a total of 33 windows and doors, and they divided the work into two halves. They did the front half in May and then a couple months later, they did the backside of the house.
I was impressed with the quality of their work. I was there the whole time watching them taking out the windows and cleaning up everything. They took the family room sliding glass door out and there were major ants but luckily, it was just the little ones and not the big black carpenter ants. They went and sprayed it all and cleaned it all out. On the inside, they retract the carpeting down that went along with the sliding glass door.
I was also watching them as they get the various windows and doors level and to get them even. It was always not a perfect fit so they got to use the shims to get that all in. And then using the sealant, they sprayed insulation around it to make sure that there was a good seal between the windows and the frames. They also re-caulked on the outsides and insides. The outside of the windows that used to be wood was covered in vinyl as well so I didn’t have to worry about painting that. When I noticed that there was a sharp edge and I pointed that out to them, they re-fixed it so there was no way I could be cleaning the windows on the outside and accidentally cut myself.
Pricewise, they definitely weren’t the cheapest but they weren’t the most expensive. I could probably find cheaper windows but they made their own windows. They brought it in, installed it and guaranteed it. I liked that they did all that. I know some places where the people who make the windows are different from the people who install them. So if there were problems, I might have to deal with more than one person in group or company.

I knew I was going to need a new roof sooner than later. Power Home knocked on our door and we decided to purchase standard roof from them. We liked that they didn’t hire contractors to do the work outside consulting. They were also a bigger outfit than the storm chasers that come door-to-door. The process got confusing on who I could go to and where. I tried to understand what phone number I had to call and when I called, it was the switchboard. That made things a little bit more confusing. It'd be nice to have somebody to call in case something came up instead of having to go navigate through a switchboard. They assigned me a project manager but I don't know if I ever met one. I asked two other people if they were my project manager and they said they weren't.
Their installation team were in and out when they came out to work and they did a much better job of cleaning up after themselves than others guys who came out here. They were pretty efficient and were able to do it in one day. They scoured the yard and everything looked good. I found 10 nails under the dumpster that they had there, which in some ways made sense. Unfortunately, the dumpster was in the driveway so was in a bad spot for it. Outside of that, the rest of the yard was immaculate. If somebody was looking for a roof, I'd tell them to consider Power Home. Compared to what I've seen with others that had roofing that took multiple days. they're a very efficient outfit and they have the right people. They also do a really good job of sharing the process with the customers.

We’ve spoken to a few other remodeling companies and they all were too pricey. None of the other people were willing to work with what we were trying to do. The person we spoke with at Power Home Remodeling Group said they didn’t have to do all the windows or didn’t have to necessarily do everything all at once. They can do it in pieces and they can make it work for me. The rep was really sweet and he answered all of our questions. He helped us out with the financial explanation and we decided to go for it. We were able to customize our order. We had 16 windows in the house and we got four of them done. We also had the roof redone by the same company and it was nice that we had that option.
The installation went really well. They were very clean about everything they did. There was nobody trying to procrastinate or make it take longer. They came in at the time they said they were going to and left at about the time they said they’re going to leave. There were no delays and everything was done as it was said it was going to get done. The quality of the work was perfect and beautiful, and I love how they fixed everything how we wanted it to be done. The windows and roof look amazing. It was a great experience. We talked to so many other people that have come in knocking, but nobody has been as kind or helpful as the guys from Power Home. Power Home did our friend's windows and we liked the way they looked. And so we got them as well for our windows and one outside entry door. We had a very good experience with their sales team and the pricing was about what I expected. The window installation went really well too. However, we had to re-do the door installation. But they were right on it and got it done and met my wife's demanding standards. They did an excellent job. Overall it was a very good experience. I would certainly recommend them.

Power Home was in the neighborhood doing other jobs and they knocked at my door. Their sales team was okay and we bought the windows, sidings and a door from them. The installation was good but instead of sending technicians out there that are not going to install the product, the installation team should be involved because they are the ones who know what they’re going to do or need. The wrong door was ordered and we had to wait for weeks again to get another one. They went out and they were supposed to put another door in the back, which didn’t fit. So, we ended up only putting the door in the front. We’re still at the point where they don’t know how they’re going to reward us or give us an incentive for all the time that we lost from work just because the team was not ready to install it. I was supposed to get a call yesterday and nobody called me back.
We also got gutters and we had problems too because they lifted up my shingles. The installers didn’t do a good job of putting them back down. The guys came again and put some other stuff because they took off a molding so, I’m not very satisfied with that. Right now, I’m not very happy and I wouldn’t recommend Power Home because the incentive part has not been resolved. The project was supposed to have been done in December and it was moved to January. And now we’re in March and it’s still not done.

To get me to purchase the first time, he gave me a much better price that was only good as long as he was there. I had him replace three windows in front of my house and it was customized in terms of the window sizing. The installation was good and I'm very satisfied with their work. However, a second gentleman came to make a quality check to make sure everything was done correctly, and he started with, “You should do the other windows also.” And I wasn't happy with that. They customized them for me and my front door is a lovely blue. I was so impressed with the installation team. Originally, they told me it would take two days, but they did everything in one day. Someone from Power Home Remodeling Group knocked on our door and since their pricing was comparable to other quotes that we had gotten and I like the fact that they were a national company that had been around for a long time, I chose to go with them. The sales team was good. They know the product well and feel confident in that. So we did three windows. Two of the windows were double-hung windows, and another one was a slider. While the installation team was mostly good and we're happy with the way that they worked, there was an issue with the first inspection.
There were some screws missing and in trying to get that resolved, it took another five days to get somebody back just to put in a couple of screws. That was frustrating. Additionally, after these windows were installed, I inquired with them about getting quotes on other things at home like our backsliders. We have such huge sliders that literally are costing us $10,000 to replace and I was a little surprised because nobody ever followed up with me. We ended up going with a local company and their prices were competitive.

They came to the house for 5 hours and lied about billing practices. They said I would have 6 months at a reduced rate to start paying and the first bill was twice what they said it would be. Customer service said it was the salesman's fault for not doing it correctly. Even though the salesman has been doing this job for 5 years and when I questioned if I was the first one to complain about it, it was glossed over. Which verifies to me that they do this all the time. Apparently he was retrained in the 8 minutes between phone calls.
They ruined several of my weekends with my son by saying they were coming and not fixing the flashing and then confirming for another day. They then called on that Day and stated they overbooked and would come out 2 weeks later. They then showed up on a completely different day and allegedly fixed the problem but since I wasn't home I couldn't tell you if anything was done correctly.
The workers also walked over my shed and I was told that they are used to working in all sorts of conditions and that I shouldn't worry about their safety. I said it had more to do with the fact that if they fell on my property and broke any of my property. They have their own insurance under their company but they're such a shady company I don't expect them to hold up their end of the bargain should anything happen.
They say their customer service is top-notch and they want me to be happy. But I am still waiting a week later for a supervisor to call me back and they allegedly are going to send me a gift card for my inconvenience valued at $250. When I spoke to them at an earlier date about compensation regarding the Lost weekend days they said, "Yes. It will be taken care of," and when I spoke to someone last week about fixing everything they said, "Well we can't do anything about it." They also said they cannot do anything about the payment schedule with the bank. Which I think is a load of BS because they lied about it in the first place. I have already spoken to all of my friends about this and no one should use them. These ridiculous practices should be looked into and customers called about this. I think then you'll see that this is not the best company in the world.

He tried about five times with Hail Mary passes and I appreciate that they were trying to save me money but it was also for their benefit. I didn’t appreciate the sales tactics and I didn’t appreciate the length of time and the bait and switch with the time.
Also, I feel like I was lied to several times about the amount of time that it would take to sit down with them. Overall, I might have spent 12 hours total with the three different sales teams that came out which I feel was quite a lot. It was more than what I was told and each time, it was quoted at around an hour and then it quadrupled from there. But, Power Home has 50 years warranty for their materials and a lifetime for the work. I purchased a new roofing, and they offered one package and I get to choose the color. The installation team kept to themselves and they didn’t bother me at all. I work from home and they went about their work. It was hard to tell that they were there other than the banging. I feel that it's a really solid roof so I'm happy with it. Also, the work was topnotch and I would definitely recommend Power Home.

We're not happy with the work on the roof or the Windows. Let's start with the roof. After only 3 months the roof is peeling. The step down flashing is wrong, the power vent system looks horrible. They were also suppose to sister (support) rotten beams in the garage but never did. The windows in my daughters room were suppose to be completely reframed. After I pointed it out they just nailed the molding on top of it. They set people to redo it and it still looks horrible. Someone finally came today to fix the roof and he (yes just 1 guy) stayed for only 20 minutes and claimed he fixed it. We are not at all satisfied with the work that was done and we're $20,000 in the hole.
Thanks for taking the time to review your experience with Power. We are sorry to hear you're having issues with your new roof. Please feel free to give us a call at (888) 736-6335, option 3 at the prompt, to speak with our Warranty Service team. If the previous service was not completed to your satisfaction, we would be happy to come out and take another look.

We liked Power Home's presentation and they seemed reliable. The presenter was very good and thorough. We bought windows from them and the installers were also good and efficient. They had a lot of work to do so it took them a while but their quality of work was very nice.

I got my degree in interior design so we study different products and at that time, we looked at Power Home Remodeling and I knew they have high-quality products. When we were looking at possibly getting windows done, someone from Power Home came to our door. So, their timing was well done. The guy who sold us on the windows was great but he took really long as he was here for four hours. We purchased eight windows and in the future, we would like to look at their different products when we can afford it.
The first installer went up. But his boss came back and told us it wasn't a height concern as the first guy had told us. So, the first guy oversold us on the installation. Nevertheless, the quality of the work was done really well. I have a seven-month-old son, and I asked them to finish one window first as it was underneath his room. They did that which was very good for them and for me as well. The installation was done in a good manner and they communicated, which was nice. With our new windows, we get to keep more heat in the house. Since we got the basement ones done right now, the heat doesn't automatically escape through the basement, and it improves the quality of the home.
We've already recommended Power Home to other people. Since I am a designer, I go with the sense of the structure of the windows themselves, like the difference between the metal plating and the glasses. Their windows are insurable. They have a real lifetime warranty versus the fake lifetime warranties. The baseball pitcher threw the baseball to the window and it didn't break. Lots of the people, who we talked about these windows, have kids. So, in a sense that they can throw balls in the house and they won't break the windows. We can also take out the windows to clean.

I was at Sam’s Club when I found out about Power Home. It was my first time and I was a little confused but when Power Home people showed me the benefits I could have, I started to understand a bit more about it. I bought windows and insulation from them. The sales team and the installation team were great and respectful to me. When I had something I was not sure, they got time to explain everything that I could understand. The installer was fast. They were done with the windows in three hours. And the windows are exactly the right ones I was looking for. I went with a lot of energy to keep my house warm inside and Power Home was able to save me more energy and keep the heat in the house. Plus, they save me money. I recommend Power Home to a friend or family member.

We had Power Home Remodeling Group do our windows and roof. My wife saw them at Sam's Club and trusted that they seemed to be a good company. The sales rep then came over to talk to us. He got here at 7 PM and he left by 1 AM. I asked him some technical questions about the shingles that I got and about the windows that were put in. He couldn’t answer so he told me he would try and find us some technical information to give me. That never happened so I tried to use their website but every time I attempted, I couldn't get it to work. The left sidebar where you can select all kinds of stuff to look at would appear for a second and then it would disappear and I couldn't do anything.
I tried it for a couple of days in a row and it didn’t go back. The rep also did demonstrations which my wife liked. We also talked about some other work about getting doors put in. So, it was a broad range of services that he was assessing and he had a lot of enthusiasm for the company. The same thing happened with the roofing guys. They stayed for four hours and they told me a lot of technical terms and we discussed a broad range of topics related to the company. However, there was a little bit of communication problem between the leadership and the crew guys. Every time I would ask them about the fascia board, they would say, "I have to check, I have to check."
The crew members probably got some kind of briefing but it wasn’t as comprehensive. Every time I asked, "Are you going to do this? Are you going to do that?" they had to check. It's a good thing to do that in order to get it right but they could be briefed a bit better before they start the job. Also, I never got the technical information I wanted. I found out about the shingle from the prospect manager and it turned out they're not exactly the kind that I wanted. I wanted shingles that were made by GAF which are highly reflective. The ones I got were special for Power Home but they're not highly reflective. They're good for resisting mold and mildew which is good but I wanted that high reflectivity. My last roof was white, which I did so that the roof would stay cooler, and my electrical bill did decrease by 50% because it's highly reflective.
As far as the windows go, the ones who did it were all Brazilian and some of them could barely understand English but the crew chief could understand English well. That was all good except for a little mistake in communication that should not have happened. There was a weakness in the procedure and I explained that to the project manager of the windows. We decided to replace all the windows in the house. Now, the garage is attached to the house but there's no door between the garage and the house so we consider it a separate building even though it's physically attached. The crew chief didn’t completely understand the description that the person that did all the measurements of the house and the specification of which windows were to be replaced. He told me that it wasn't completely clear and I told him, "All the windows in the house."
He considered the garage to be part of the house so they took out the garage windows and said they didn’t have enough windows to finish the house. And then I said, "That's impossible," and then he said, "You wanted the garage windows out too, right?" I said, "No, just the house windows." They put those back in. They did the best job they could but it was not completely satisfactory. I'm not sure if anything can be done about it at this point or not. Another drawback is that they're highly reflective and absorptive so not all the light comes in. When you look through the windows, it's darker outside than it is with regular glass. Because it blocks a lot of the sunlight, I have to put the plants in front of the windows that are still glass. But in general, we like the way they open and close. Everybody in the neighborhood loves the way they look.
The work, in general, was good. The people who did the actual work were professional and dialogued with me a lot. What I wanted was different than what was best for the house. The project manager convinced me that so it was an overall positive experience. The only problem that I had was they cut a six-inch high piece of my wall out so they could replace it with PVC for moisture protection. It didn’t look good. The guys who did the cut in the wall, as the carpenter said, were not professional. They were professional roofers but they were not professional wall cutters. It was crooked and it looked ugly. You can see it from 20 feet away. Then they put silicone caulking which is not paintable. So, in order for me to get that nasty looking line repaired, the painters painted over it the best they could. It's silicone so they couldn't really do much. It looked acceptable from a distance but close up, I wanted it to look better.

We wanted to do our windows and Power Home Remodeling Group explained everything to us and made it easy so we decided to go with them. Their service and the people who did the work on the window repair were good. Three different supervisors came in to check if everything was going well and they did everything for half a day for seven windows.
The representative that came to our house told us that we were going to have our remodeling on February 1st and that we would get our bill 60 days after. However, I have a problem with the financing company that Power Home connected us with. We had done a delayed payment because it wasn't in our budget to pay for this window. We were going to pay just the interest for the first couple of months and then we were going to pay the regular amount. The rep from Power Home told us that he would make that arrangement with the financing company. They told us that we wouldn't get our first bill until April. I haven't received anything yet, but the financing company told us that we had to pay $130. And now, they want to charge us the full amount. They called me a couple of weeks ago and told me that we had to pay at the beginning of March. They also told me that they would call within a couple of days but they never did.
The other small problem was the permit. It came in for the window repair and it had the old owner's name on it so I was concerned that that was going to be an issue. When I called the rep of Power Home, I left him a voicemail but he never answered me. I left him another voicemail a week later but he never answered me. So, the third time I called him, I said that I would not post the permit until he called me back and that was when he did. Still, I would recommend Power Home to other people.

Power Home Remodeling Group’s reps were going door to door and they knocked on ours and showed us what they had. We were looking for windows then, so it just fit. Two other companies came to look at our house and pitched to us too, but there were two things that we liked about Power Home Remodeling Group. One was how easy it was to finance with them and the quality of their windows. I used to work in construction years ago, so I’ve seen what cheap materials can do to a home and the value of a home over time. Power Home had really quality windows for a pretty good price.
Their sales reps were very polite and patient with us. We have two young kids running around and crying but they were putting up with the noise. The reps were pretty knowledgeable too. They were pretty spot on and everything that they said I attest to were accurate. They knew what they were talking about for sure. We had this huge window in our bedroom that we had to get specially cut. We ended up only doing the backside of our home that gets the most sun damage and abuse. We customized our order since we didn’t do our whole house.
The installers were awesome. They actually came earlier than expected but they called to set up the time and asked if they could come a little bit earlier because they had another job they wanted to get to. I let them do it and they knocked it out. It took them about an hour and a half to install all three of the windows. They did a really good job. They made sure that the outside trim of the window matched my home trim. They also caulked the inside of the windows. They actually went a little bit beyond because I had a crack in the drywall in the windowsill itself and they filled in those cracks. They didn’t have to do that because it wasn’t their damage.
I have a warranty call-out for them and I keep forgetting to check up on it. There’s this little lock that is in the top track of the window that keeps criminals from being able to lift the window up in place and move it out. The window rubs on it when I open it on one panel. They were supposed to come out for that but I had to cancel because I had a death in the family and just forgot to reschedule. But Power Home has been great. They were an honest company and they were accommodating. Considering what other companies were quoting us for the same amount of work, they were $2,000 under. That’s pretty good.

They did our entire second floor and I liked how they handled the situation. I'm also happy with it. The main window is a big bay window so we customized how many openings, how big the window, and how big of an offset the window was going to have for the new ones. I have a 10-foot big bay window so that was a complicated one. Everything else was direct replacement. The installation team was nice and they didn’t say much. There was a gentleman from Power Home doing door-to-door solicitations and I told him to have them call me and set up an appointment. Charlie came to the house on a Saturday, sat with my wife and myself then took us through the whole window installation presentation. In addition to the windows, he heard me mention that I was unhappy with my gutters and downspouts and talked me into that as well. Although his presentation was much longer than what we were told, we were so happy with it and with what he put on the table that we signed with him right there.
I had three different projects done. The first one was the gutters and soffits. The installers were fantastic and did an absolutely outstanding job. Moreover, they left the place as clean as it was before they started. The next team came and did all 27 of my windows in one day. They were outstanding and did a fantastic job. Then I had a follow-up visit and the gentleman talked me into doing the basement windows, which was the last project they did. The scheduling and timeliness were spot-on, just as it had been represented. I was very pleased with everyone that we had any interaction with, from the sales rep to the supervisors to the actual workers. Everything worked out and I would recommend them to anyone.

I liked the product and I thought it was really good. I used Power Home for three windows and a door that were all customized. The installation team were very professional and neat. We needed a new roof because we started getting water from it and we went with Power Home. They let us pick the color that we wanted for the roof and they explained to us the material that we were using which seemed amazing. We worked on the numbers for the cost of the roof saying that they would give us some discount if we decided to remodel the roof within a certain period of time. The installation team was fast and although we had anticipated rain they said that they could still get the work done. When it started raining they had to hurry up and cover parts of the roof that weren't done and there was some water that came in because of that. Then they came the next day and finished up the job quick.
Overall the Power Home team was very responsive to any questions. Recently we had a leak and we were supposed to have a lifetime warranty on the roof and they came out. But because there’s a lot of snow on the roof right now they needed us to follow up later when all the snow has melted or the weather is nicer outside, so they can do some kind of testing and figure out exactly why we were having a leak inside our home. We've only had about a year with the roof, and so far, the experience has been okay and the quality of their work seemed great. However in the end the job was a little rushed. We should have ordered quotes from other companies. The price was a big burden on us. I would recommend to others that they get other quotes from other companies before actually deciding to go with Power Home.

They described exactly what would be done and what I would have to do before they came. The installation team came in and they worked so efficiently and quickly because it was 5 degrees that day.
They took out four windows and they had them out and in at a very short time and it was well done. The outside part of the windows was a little soft from rain going in and it was leaking before but they fixed up some places to make sure that the windows wouldn't loosen up again like the old ones did. I went outside and I checked and they insulated everything on the inside and on the outside. They caulked everything really well and all was nice and neat. They matched the colors very well on the walls and I was very pleased with it. Also they cleaned up everything.
I told my friends about the quality of the windows. I had someone that was sent by another company do the windows, but the representative from Power Home had something that was a little bit more reasonable. So, I had Power Home complete the rest of my window project. I’m satisfied with the windows as well as the guy who came. I watched the whole project and I’ve seen the windows the day before and everything was done professionally. They did an excellent job. Right now, we’re in a process of doing the roof. I have a solar panel on my roof and in my contract with the solar panel, I have to pay to take them down and get them back up.
The only thing I’m disappointed about is the guy from Power Home who's at the roof project kept quoting me a price on how much the cost to take my panels down and have them tip back up. He said the cost is no more than $600 to $700. He kept acting like he knew and did it all the time and that was what they charge. It came out to be not correct and he quoted me by a knockdown off. We can’t fit that in our budget. I reached out to my solar panel company and they gave us a quote of almost $9,000 so that was a great big difference from $700. It was $27,000 for the roof plus another additional $9,000 to take the panel down. It was a hard decision to make. So we put the project on hold until we get the panels taken care of.
I reached out and called Power Home but we got no call back yet from them. The only person I talked to was when I put the job on hold. I talked to a young lady to push the date back because we were planning to do it on the 12th. After that, I made some other calls to them and no one got back to me. Their representative in sales should be cheaper and they shouldn't quote anything out to anybody just to make the sell. They don't know a thing about what they are selling. I’m really very dissatisfied.

I needed a garden window in my kitchen and was introduced to Power Remodelling at BJ's. I had tried to get other quotes, but being a small job of only one window - it was difficult. I had seen some reviews of Power and was unsure - but none of the reviews said it was a poor quality window - and it isn't. Well - It has been a great experience. The sales guy pitch was a little too lengthy, but this was a big investment and one should really educate themselves on what they are embarking on -and that takes time. So please set aside a few hours when the sales rep comes to visit. They were here on time. Supervisors came by to check on the work. The workers spoke English. The craftsmanship is fabulous - they cleaned up so well you never knew they were here.
I always thought a window is a window - but this Garden window is really a cut above. They may be a little pricey, but the warranty is well worth it and the quality is definitely high grade. You really get what you pay for. I have done a lot of remodeling over the years and most did not go well. I would definitely empower myself with Power Remodelling in the future. I bought a house a year ago that was flipped and it has been a nightmare. (Never buy a house that was flipped unless you have money to re-do it right. We like Power Home Remodeling Group that they had a lot of support for veterans, for hiring veterans and supporting veterans’ programs. My wife and I are both veterans. We had a salesperson came through the neighborhood and he set up an appointment. A full-service salesperson then came out on time and did an assessment of our house. He was great, very friendly and easy to get along with. We asked him to look at every aspect of our house that they had products available for. He was also knowledgeable and he gave very detailed descriptions of both their products and parts of our house that may or may not be useful for when it came through. In addition, he told us how the type of product, whether it was a window or roofing stuff, would interact with our house.
There were lots of different styles of windows and doors that we could get. One of the things that appealed to us, even from the start, was they were very clear that there was no minimum order to buy. If we just wanted to do the door, we could’ve just done a door, whereas, with some of the other salespeople I talked to, it was an all or nothing type thing. That we could customize the order with that level of detail was appealing to us, so we ended up doing just the first floor of our house, getting new windows and a single door.
The installers were very professional and friendly. It was one of the coldest days of the year here so, that part wasn’t good for anyone, but they had been very clear when they were going to arrive and what to expect. My wife works from home and she was in her office so, they worked around her schedule, as far as when would they go in there. We had agreed that it might take two days to complete the job, but towards the end of the day, they made the decision that they were willing to stay late as long as we were good with that until they got it done. So, they stayed until it was done. We were very happy with that. In addition, from making a mess point of view, one would have never thought that anything had happened at our house that day. Based on that experience, we decided to get our upstairs windows done at a later date and we requested that the same crew come back and do that.

Nails and roofing materials (old deconstruction and newly installed) were on the ground in the front and backyard, as well as our neighbor's yard. I also found shingles and nails in my attic. The foreman later returned and helped me clean-up, but the issue should never have occurred. Improper supervision of the roofing crew led to this situation, and following the rushed completion of the project (in the dark) I am concerned that my roof my not be the quality we paid for.

Overall this experience has been a nightmare. I have had two projects with this company, one is pending completion and the other is done. The completed one took 90 days to complete because they did not have the door ready. Very little communication. Once completed it was great, so then project two begins, I am promised that this is not going to be the same and it will be installed within six weeks. Took a day off work only to call and be told that, they do not have the door ready again and it will be March until it is completed. I asked to cancel the project but was called back to be asked how they could help, they had 0 solutions other than wait. I was supposed to receive a call from their regional manager and still no call. Horrible experience. Buyer beware.

He spoke to my sister, who is the homeowner, and she felt comfortable with what Power Home offered and the financing. They went through every nook and cranny about how they were going to do so she went with them over other home improvement company. Their sales member was fantastic. They took their time. They were also so informative and explained everything that was going to be done. They had a kit that they came out with to show her the roof tiles. We got to pick them out and they showed her what was going to be put down first, second and the vent. We had our roofing and windows done. The installers were fantastic too. They went upstairs and explained and showed her everything that was going to be done. Every team that came was courteous and cleaned up well.
The quality of work they did was a 100+ percent. There were no more drafts in the house and no more leaking from the roof. They repaired the parts of the roof that needed new woods. And they just did what they had to do and we love the outcome of it. It looks beautiful and it's helping my sister energy-saving wise. I just live here but I was here during the whole thing and it was a very good experience. In fact, my sister referred Power House to two of her colleagues because one was in need of a roof and one was in need of windows. I hired Power Home Remodeling to install 4 windows in my house. Because they are very expensive I only replaced the ones that needed to be replaced. The salesperson was nice and did a good job and while he was aggressive it was nothing over the top. Then the install came and the team did a fantastic job they were on time installed quickly, did a high quality job, and fully cleaned up before they left.
That night they sent a “quality control” guy to check the work. That’s when things took a turn for the worse. He first checked the work and decided that his team did a great job. I agreed and was ready to send him on his way. But he wasn’t done yet. He asked me if I was happy with the work and I said yes and so he asked me to say as much on Power’s Facebook page which I did reluctantly as I felt pressured to do so. As I found out the pressure was just beginning. Then he asked me about having some other windows replaced and that he could get me a good deal on a loan. I politely declined as so noted I’m only spending what I can afford and don’t want a loan. Then he ramped up the pressure again with another offer I politely declined again and he seemed mad at me. He basically insinuated that I was stupid for not taking the deal.
At that point our meeting was over and I showed him out and he once again implied that I was foolish on the way out the door as a parting shot. Up until that moment I was very pleased with the experience. Then this “quality assurance” visit threw cold water on that. I felt that it was very deceptive to send someone to check the work who was really there to sell me more windows. The salesperson who was there previously was much more professional and while aggressive knew when to back off. This guy should have never been selling me anything in the first place and when he tried to he should have been a lot more pleasant when turned down. I found him very unprofessional and extremely insulting. I may think twice about hiring Power for the rest of my windows even though I really wanted to use them again when I could afford to.

My windows had to be custom-made because some of my windows were small and some were large. They spoke to me and disclosed the price and overall I was satisfied. They were very professional and didn't force anything on me. Nobody pressured me into buying something or doing anything. I’ve dealt with some other people that passed by that were pushy. I do not like to be cornered.
The installation team said they were going to be here at a certain time and they were. They were not a minute late and not a minute early. They did what they said they were going to do. They took out the old windows and cleaned after themselves. They did it within the timeframe they said that they were going to do it in. They were courteous and polite. The night before someone called me and reminded me about the payment, which I was ready for. I paid them and signed the paper when they were done.
The work they did was beautiful. Before the window change the bedroom was practically a freezer. But now I don’t have any draft. So far so good. I also like the fact that I have a lifetime guarantee. I was walking through Sam’s Club and the Power Home Remodeling rep stopped me and was talking about his products. So I set up an appointment for them to come talk to me because I've been thinking about getting new windows and they're about a third cheaper than Andersen. I like the way their windows looked and the sales rep told us all the different special things about them and what they do. The sales rep seemed to know her product very well and was explaining all the special features that it has. They pretty much showed us the windows that they have. Then they measured all my windows and they're all the same. But I also had windows where you could feel the air coming in and stuff but the people who made them were already out of business. So we got our windows from them and we're also going to get doors but not until next month.
We got the top-up-bottom-down one with an equally good lock. It can be easily opened and pulled in to clean. Everything went well with the installation. We did 15 windows and they put them all in one day. They started bright and early. It must have been around 9:00 in the morning. So they took the other ones out, put new ones in and finished until about 6:37. They did really good work. I really like the product and the people so far. They're all really easy to work with. Even the quality control guy who came to check all the work and made sure all the windows work properly. They treated us really well. I would recommend them. I just I told a buddy of mine yesterday about Power Home Remodeling and what it cost me for the 15 windows, because he’s thinking about getting windows and he checked into Andersen but found them expensive as well.

He was very patient because I had my grandchildren with me and he had to do his pitch while they were tagging along. He hung in there and I was impressed by that. Power Home seemed pretty comprehensive. They serviced the roof and then later the soffit and gutters. The roof job they made was wonderful and did a great job. People would have never known I had anything done in my house. The soffit and the gutters looked beautiful, however, they left things messy so they’re going to come back and clean it up. The quality of their work looks nice. It’s the final stage that I had issues with.
Nevertheless, if they do what they need to do, I will eventually get windows from them. I would recommend them to anybody but people have to be very aware that they got to be on top of it. He got rid of mold and did the roof, which also had a few years left on it. After the post-install inspection, I got an offer that I really couldn’t pass up for the insulation and a barrier to take care of the attic. Everything with the sales team was super-fast and thorough. I went to work for one day and I had a brand new roof with the power vent and all the shingles when I got home. I couldn’t tell that anybody did the roof for there were no supplies in the house and the same thing happened with the installation of the insulation.
I went up on the roof and the quality looked great. It’s been excellent so far and I’d love to save up a little more money and have Power Home do some more things. Also, all of it is backed by a lifetime warranty that’s why they’re not the cheapest. They cleaned up really well and were very entertaining. They also had somebody calling after the work is done to make sure that everything is okay, which was also nice.
