Power windows is very easy to do business very professional and they want to make sure you are completely satisfied with their products and the work they do. We are more than happy with our new windows and have noticed a big difference in our home. We highly recommend Power. They are the best.

The sales part of our experience with Power was not the best. It was a long meeting with all the typical sales tactics and pressure to try to get you to commit right away. I will not make a big decision like this on the spot. It is not a life or death matter so it can wait. The price we were initially given was way too much. We declined. A week later we got another call from a different Power rep. Due to some circumstance which I did not fully understand they could offer us a lower price but they could not give it to us over the phone or via email and had to come back to discuss it with us... sigh.
This second meeting was not as long or intense. Both Sales Reps were nice guys. But the initial price was too much. The second price they came back on was more in line with would we were expecting to pay and after a discussion with my wife we decided to go for it. The installation was great. The workers knew what they were doing and our house looks fantastic. The product itself is very good. It is not cheap looking vinyl siding and it dramatically changed the look of our house. We received compliments from our neighbors some who said they were jealous. I want to say again that the crew doing the installation was fantastic. We are very happy with the product and result.

The guys from Power Home came in to do the roof and it only took them one day to rip everything off and put on a whole new one on. I went up a couple of times to look and the roof is nice and straight. They also took out the old siding and windows and put all the new ones on. Then they cleaned up everything and sealed everything nice and tight. And it took just two days and their work was excellent. The siding before was buckling from the heat and there was no buckling at all last summer. I liked the way that they did the projects because it was the way I would want it done if I could have done it. The guys were very knowledgeable and professional, too. As long as Power Home stays in business, I’m covered for the next 50 years.

The reps of Power Home Remodeling sat down with us and went over everything. They were very efficient, polite and personable. They were very knowledgeable about the product and they made us feel good about our purchase. We got from them modern windows that can be removed. The windows fold out so that you can clean them inside and out properly, and they keep the heat and the cold out. The installation team came in and introduced themselves and I was very impressed. They quickly worked and cleaned up. They were a couple of fun guys too and they interacted with my dog and my toddler. The quality of their work was very good. We've got a very cold winter here and it feels as though the windows were a great purchase. I would definitely tell my friends to go ahead with the group and purchase the same windows that we got from the same people.

Very pleased with the roofing work completed on January 3, 2018. Crew arrived in the time frame set and worked until completion about 5:30pm. They came out to check it and decided what needed to be done to fix it and gave me a date when they would be able t come and repair it. I was given a two hour time frame when they would come. After waiting one hour and forty five minutes I called and was told the wrong piece of material came in yet they never called me to let me know. We first discovered Power from a door to door sales person. My husband will give anyone a shot and this sales person impressed him, so we signed up. We were then met by the window sales person, whose name (unfortunately) fails me right now. This young man was so completely entertaining that the 4-5 hours we spent with him that evening (I'm not kidding) did the trick and we bought into having all 22 of our windows done. I'm quite sure that he hadn't run into a couple such as we are that tended to derail his sales presentation, but he ran with it and it was, as I said, quite entertaining.
Now, to the team that did our windows. We were quite impressed. They were quick and professional. It was a horrible, cold and wet day. Miserable, and yet, they did the work without complaint and were very nice the whole time. They made friends with our dog and were very kind to her. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure to carefully move out things when they needed to be moved. I can't say enough about them. The QA guys made sure that everything was on the up and up. Gary says he has people bugging him all the time making sure that he is happy with everything. The same goes for the work with the soffits and the gutters. The same process, the team was excellent. Everything we have done is nothing but excellent! I've told everyone that I know how happy we are with Power and how unexpected it is to have a company that cares so much about their customers.

Team came out to do 13 windows with two of them being very very custom. The team was awesome and professional. They finished without any issues and spent the time to custom cut some trim around a window that was up against a custom stone wall with a fireplace in it. This was an unexpected but awesome touch. We have noticed the house is much quieter (live near a major street) and better with temperatures. It got to about 80 degrees outside in the fall so I didn't have my AC ready to go. It was 72 degrees in the home with no fans running or AC. I was amazed. I am doing business with them again to replace 2 doors in the home next month and am expecting great things.

From start to finish, the whole experience was top-notch. The details of the work and contract were clearly explained and presented. The pre-install inspector was very helpful in finalizing a color for the outside trim. The installation crew was quick, efficient, and very clean. I was thoroughly impressed with the responsiveness of the QA inspector who followed up afterwards and addressed a minor issue to be corrected in a timely manner. In fact, they would not even accept payment until the issue was completed. To me, that amount of professionalism is commendable. They even went extra lengths to work up a very reasonable price to install the next round of windows in our whole-house window replacement plan. I would recommend PHRG to anyone looking to have home renovation work of this nature completed.

A young gentleman from Power Home Remodeling Group was doing a job in the neighborhood. They came and saw that my roof was in need of a replacement, and knocked on my door and asked me if I would be willing to have someone come over and give me an estimate. And the next day, one of their sales representatives came and I was very impressed with the fact that they took the time to sit down and explain to me what they were going to do, how they were going to do it, and what they were going to use as far as materials are concerned. And they did not just come like most of those roofing people do and look at the roof and quote you a price, although they really didn't look at anything. But this gentleman from Power Home came and looked in the attic.
He showed me where there might be some water sipping as far as the wood was concerned. He said the wood is dark and it's not rotted but we're absolutely getting some water. We sat down, went over the whole thing with me, gave me a few extras with the sale and I agreed to it. He was thorough and professional. He took three hours to sit here with me on a Saturday afternoon and go over everything. He showed me the different availabilities and I made my choice based on that. The stuff that they used was wonderful. He explained to me how they removed the old shingles and got it down to the wood. If any of the wood is rotten, they replace it, and that's included in the cost of the replacement. They used a dry seal heat that keeps heat from escaping but it also allows air to pass through and put the stuff on the edging. It was a very positive experience.
The installers came when they were supposed to and went right to work. They worked really hard. They put tops on everything so that they didn't break a window. They did a good job and I'm happy with it. Then a gentleman came and followed up with me to see if I was happy with what was done. There are pieces of paper from one of the shingles, but they're going to come back and remove that. With the weather the way it is right now, you can't expect somebody to climb up and take that down. But other than that, I'm really happy. In fact, someone that I know told me that she needed a roof and I gave her Power Home’s number.

There was a salesperson from Power Home Remodeling who came and showed us pictures. Even though we thought they were a little bit too expensive, it seemed that they're worth the price. The rep came well-prepared. He did a good sales pitch, obviously, that was why we easily went with them. They installed brand new sidings and gutters. They gave us the right amount of options so we were able to choose our own colors for the sidings. Besides siding, we also did the bottom in stone. We know it was faux stone but we didn’t know at that time that it was plastic. It looked better in the pictures. I suggest that they carry a sample of it because we definitely wouldn’t have gone with them. That would have changed the whole outcome at the end.
We almost spent $60,000 and I'm really disappointed. For that kind of money, we really thought we were getting better quality on the stone which is the whole front of the house. It looks like we'd cheap out when we really didn't, but it is what it is. The siding has great quality. It's just the stone part that we're really disappointed in. Also, we were supposed to have a job manager onsite but he only came when there was an issue and we had to call him twice for them to correct wires that they left out showing because he wasn’t on site. I don't even know if he inspected the work prior or when the work was done. So, I'm very disappointed with my experience and I would not recommend Power Home Remodeling Group at all.

Also, when they said that they were going to be here, they were here and there was no one late. They worked a little bit later, but they had other jobs, so that was understandable. Power Home Remodeling Group came and rang my doorbell. Their sales people were very pushy, pressured me into everything, and wanted to do it right away. They didn’t want me to shop around. I did things that I feel guilty about now and I didn't like being told, "This is the price right now. If you leave and have to come back tomorrow because you shopped around, the price goes up." Their rep climbed the roof at night. It was 8:00 and it was dark. He told me that I got all these soft spots and this and that, and that I need a whole full roof. I had my roof done and after I got it, I was told by a lot of contractors that it was way overpriced.
When Power Home was installing the roof, the QC guy came back and told me that I needed windows and if I didn’t sign up for windows that day, then they couldn't put it on my bill at the current rate. He offered me eight windows and I don’t know how I’m going to pay for any of it. The roof looks nice but I was charged for 300 feet of wood that they didn’t use. They only used some over the backboard. When I asked where the wood for the roof was, they answered that my roof didn't need wood.
Other than that, their workers were very good. The weather was cold and there was some snow on the ground. They did their best, but after a while, I found a lot of nails all over the yard and come spring, I’m sure I’m going to find even more. They also made a mistake. They didn’t look at the plan properly and put a gutter up where it wasn’t supposed to be. The project manager said I could leave it there if I wanted. I told him I’m not a person who likes to climb ladders but if they put it up there, I’m going to have to climb up and clean it all the time so they had to remove it. When they looked at the map, they admitted that it wasn't supposed to be there. But I’m hoping in the summertime that the second floor is cooler with that ridge vent.

When they came by this year, we decided we wanted to go ahead and get the windows. I liked the design and it seemed like a really solid product. They had good people too. The sales guys who came out were really good, knowledgeable and very thorough. We kept them there for four hours talking to us and my wife’s like, “Okay, it’s time for them to leave. You have to quit talking to them. Let them go.” The installers were really good and the quality of work was excellent. I was impressed with the whole company and I would tell friends to use them.

I enjoyed talking to the Power Home representative and it went wonderfully from there. She was very good, and I had them install my living room windows. The father and son team told me that installation would probably take two days. They got here at eight o'clock in the morning and by three o'clock, all my windows were installed. I had two small windows and a big picture window in the middle, and now I have three same-size windows. They handled my customization request and cleaned up beautifully. I've had a very good experience with Power Home. Everybody that I dealt with was more than helpful to me, and the overall quality of work was awesome. I would use them again and I would recommend them to anyone.

I talked to the sales rep from Power Home Remodeling Group in the neighborhood. He then sent out a more detailed kind of solution. And then the next day, another salesperson came and met with us for about an hour and a half. Her name is Mary and she talked through our options and the technology. She was very, very knowledgeable and professional. We scheduled the project thereafter. Even though the installers arrived a little late, once they got here, they got down to the work. They were very fast and did a great job. They cleaned up as well when they were done. So far, I love the sliding glass door that they replaced. The workmanship was terrific and the process worked well. I'd recommend Power Home to anybody.

I had a very good experience with Power Home Remodeling Group. The pricing is comparable to other places, so I would tell friends to consider placing an order with them. They came door to door and their sales team was very good. They listen to you and they demonstrated the windows in a couple of different ways. They did a heating lamp test and attempted to break the window.
Although they were informative, they weren't clear about the financing charge. I expected it to be lower than what it was. Since I'm new to home improvements, I don't know if they knew the exact rate upfront because when it goes out to a different company, they check you out and they give you a rate. Other than that, their installation team was great. They're nice, polite, and they're clean. They're not scary in any way. I was fine and comfortable with them installing the replacement windows. I actually placed another order with them to get doors and two more internal windows for my house and my porch.

My husband was at Sam’s Club and talked to the guy in Power Home's kiosk. We’ve been thinking about getting a radiant barrier for a long time. My husband was impressed with the sales guy and made an appointment for the salesman to come out. The salesman was very personable, knowledgeable, and he did a great demonstration on the radiant barrier. Then he talked to us about the warranty and their financing options. We paid cash for that part of it but he insisted on doing a credit check, even if we were paying in cash. We were a little put off by that but the quality assurance guy explained to us why they do that.
The quality of the materials and the warranty impressed us. They also have quality products, do quality work, and got people that one can trust. We’re very satisfied with Power Home and we would recommend them. The price scared us off a little bit, but we got what we paid for. Even though they were not the least expensive company in town, at least they were going to be there if we had a problem. We had some bad experience with contractors in the past where they didn’t do what they said they were going to do and when they left, we never could get a hold of them again if something went wrong.
First, we had them put insulation in the attic as we had very little. After that, they talked to us about the gutters and downspouts, since we didn’t have any on our house. We also had a door in the back of our house that was in pretty bad shape. We let them come out to do the gutters and downspouts, as well as fix that door for us. This time, we decided to go and take advantage of the financing options. We went with the 25 months with no interest. The entry fees were phenomenal, but the quality assurance guy who sold us on the gutters said that since we were already customers, they could offer us some discounts. We felt like it was expensive, but all things considered, it was the best deal and we weren’t going to get that anywhere else. We could have had some guy come out and do the gutters and downspouts, but they wouldn’t have worked.
We also had one unintended consequence on the gutters. We have a patio room on the back of our house and we’ve always had trouble when it rains as the rain comes in there. It’s an outdoor patio just enclosed and the room inside has vinyl siding. Power Home's guy had a way where he could drain the water out of the ceiling, so the rain water didn’t sit up there and rot the wood. The first big rain we had after the gutters were done was Irma and when my husband went out the patio, it was bone-dry. We've had a couple of big rains since they finished the gutters and the patio has been bone-dry as well. We’re tickled to death and we have no more water coming in.
Their crew was great and everybody was really nice. But one downspout was facing the wrong direction after they installed it. The contractor that came out did not have the new drawing and had the original plans instead. It was an easy fix, though. Then the downspout right next to our door was crooked and looked terrible. We called them and the guy they sent over was rude to my husband. The guy said that it was our door facing that was crooked. My husband had to go get his level and show the guy that our door facing was not crooked. It really put my husband off, but the guy fixed it.
I also gave the guys on the door a hard time since there was quite a bit more rotten wood that couldn’t be seen until they got the door out. We were sure that they would take care of that, but I called Chris, the assurance guy, about it. They also took pictures and sent it to him. Chris gave them some ideas about what they could do to stay within the parameters of Power Home. He explained to us that they could only go so far. They couldn't rebuild the frame of our room, but they weren't going far enough for Chris since there was still framing around the door. He told them how to fix that and they ended up doing a really good job. It was nice to have that quality assurance on-hand in real time so they didn’t have to come back and do it. We’re happy with the door and I was happy with Chris. He did an awesome job all the way through and every time I talked to him, he was great.

We got with Power Home Remodeling Group after a recommendation from Allstate Insurance, who was taking care of the damage in our house caused by excessive flood waters when our pumps were not working properly. The Power Home supervisors who came gave excellent explanation, which was the key to making a person understand what the damage was and what work needed to be done. They took care of the basement, removing all the walls and stuff and getting everything ready for the remodeling that they’re going to do later that hasn’t been done yet. The fellows who did the actual work accomplished what was supposed to be done. I would recommend Power Home to anybody.

I have a lot of things that I'm pretty unhappy about right now with Power Home Remodeling. A couple of months ago, we had somebody come in and give us these guaranteed prices that would be good for a year on sidings for our house, which is a very large project, and we were given a very good price because we've been a long time customer, we've had a lot of referrals and we've done all these great things with them. Then a couple of weeks later, somebody else came in, sat done and stole the paperwork that guaranteed our pricing. So, when we called back, they said that they never gave us that pricing.
That put a really bad taste in our mouth and it made me question everything we've done with them so far. That’s part of their strategy. They sell a lot of crap with their pricing and they promise that we were getting the best deal but we were obviously not because we had one guy quote us $15,000, then, a couple weeks later, somebody comes in and quotes us $26,000. Their salespeople always seem to be fresh-out-of-college boys. These cocky young boys try to distract you from what you're really discussing, and then steal your paperwork. They've been really dishonest.
We've done three pretty large jobs with them and the first was we had a couple of springs replaced on our windows and that has been fine so far. Their installation team is usually fine and they're all respectable people. The second was we did the gutters and we're not completely happy with those. My husband noticed that after they have done the work for the day, they pulled off the roofing. The roofing tiles were a little destroyed and they just left it like that. There are gaps in the roof. My husband had called about that and they sent someone out but they didn't even get on the ladder to look at it.
The third was for the front door which was blowing open in the wind. We actually walked our dog on a 10-degree night like tonight and came back to find our front door completely wide open after we had locked it. Now, our lock is not working again and that's because they just aren't being replaced. Power Home Remodeling just tightened it and they called it fixed. Also, the door itself scratches easily and we are very displeased with it. We need that fixed and fix them good. I don't want to be calling about this every couple weeks for the rest of the time we live here.

Power Home was in the neighborhood doing some projects for our neighbors and their salesman came and presented to me. The presentation and the materials and procedures were well done. The salesman showed me the quality of their materials and compared them with other products. And he also did an experiment by putting some water and showing me how it vaporized. He told me about their installation days and also how strong their sidings are.
The installation team was good. Before they started, they gave me a call. And then in the morning when they arrived, they set up everything and let me know about the safety procedure and then they would tell me they were working on a part. So it was good communication. They did my blinding and door, and I also got their siding where they used a thicker installation. And this winter, my house was warmer than last year before I changed the siding. I would definitely recommend Power Home to my friends who need home improvement. They have quality materials, the workers are professional and the workmanship is good.

I set up a couple of people that I had seen the names before because I wanted to do some comparison. I wanted to get some people that were professional and Power Home Remodeling Group had a professional way that they talked about their product. I got eight windows through them. There were plenty of offerings and instead of customizing, I was able to get a product that was good for me. I have dogs so a certain type of window that is popular that goes out outward is not good for me because a dog can go through it. I was able to get a window that met my needs because I’m able to open the window with the screen up top so that there’s no way that the dog can get out. And one of my goals was to have great window efficiency and also protection of my dogs because one of my dogs put her paw through my old window when it got cracked by debris from a storm and cut herself.
The sales rep that I worked with was very professional, very approachable and very knowledgeable, although I didn’t prefer the way Power Home Remodeling says, “If you make the decision today, we’ll get this discount.” He followed his script but made it his own. He was very sincere and spent a ton of time with me. I’ve been in corporate before and if a salesman does not follow the script and sells something outside that you can’t do, that’s not good either so I had to step back from thinking I was sold something because somebody followed a script rather than they’re following a process so that you get the right information and nothing else. They don’t let them go outside the bounds, which is good so you don’t have a “He said I could have this or that” kind of thing. The installation was long but it was great. I’ve never had windows before and never had remodeling done so I didn’t know what to expect.
I was very impressed with James, the first guy that came out that started to do the prep because he told me that he was okay with the dog. I was so shocked because usually, people say, “Ah! Put your dogs out or we’re not going to come!” I didn’t have any room for my huge dogs. It’s a small house and my house is quirky. He came in and explained the process, asked me if I had any questions, started the work, and then checked in with me each time. I said to him I’d be in the office and he said, “Sure.” So, whenever he would start something, he said, “Okay. Now, my partner is here, and we’re going to start to do this.” It was like construction was happening. But I was really impressed that he taped everything. Every piece and prep of material was held away, including my old windows. You could not find by the end of the day that anything had been torn out. I have old paint and most of the paint chips everywhere.
They did an incredible job on that. And they didn’t treat me like I was stupid. They also said, “Well, have you looked outside yet?” I never thought about it so I went out and looked, and you couldn’t see. You can see the product out but you could see better. And then you couldn’t see as much inside, which is excellent. That’s when I learned that I had had builder grade windows before, and now I have these windows. They held my curtains and took down my blinds because I didn’t know how to do that, and they reinstalled all that, and they wouldn’t accept a tip. I was very impressed. My dogs had destroyed the seat or stool on our windows, where they can put their paws up, and they replaced that and threw that in, which was very gracious of them. They threw in two large areas that were damaged so that was huge to me.
They worked hard and efficiently. There were not a lot of people looking at their phones and checking. The guys did their work and took great care. I’m in Decatur, Georgia, and we had that snow, and it is the first time everybody in my house said you could feel that the house was warmer. I used to put space heaters everywhere. Now you can put it on 68 or 69, and it’d be very comfortable. It’s very efficient and looked great. Right now, we’re having 14 degrees, and I can sit in that room, where I used to not be able to sit, without a space heater. And all of us are comfortable in an instant, and my furnace isn’t running all the time. In past winters it always would. The windows maintain the temperature. I would highly recommend Power Home Remodeling Group. I have a 68-pound dog and she’s been jumping up on the window, and it’s able to withstand her.
She goes to the top, where you open the window, and it withstood that so I was impressed. The other thing I’m impressed with is that the windows were done in line like cars so they’re calibrated and efficient. The only thing that I would change is that I would have them clean the windows before they left because they didn’t offer that. If they were to say, “What else could we do?” I’d say, “Well, wash them.” Once the quality guy came and did the inspection, and he took the stickers off. During the day I didn’t notice it and that would be a really nice value-add if they take a few minutes to wipe the windows. The windows are perfect.
They’re expensive but they’re gorgeous. That was a lot of money for somebody like me but I’m very pleased. The installation was great. I didn’t want a “He said, she said,” like Home Depot. “No, the installer did it. No, the manufacturer did it. No, I didn’t want to be there.” I want somebody to take responsibility if it needs to be fixed. I can’t wait to get my first fuel bill.

There was framing around my windows and they weren’t hinging right. They were falling on the top and I got really stressed in that for years, thinking about what I’m going to do. I was walking by BJ’s when a guy from Power Home Remodeling Group started talking to me and he said a representative would come out. This rep showed me the windows and they seemed to be very solid. The windows on the north-side of my house were fine but the wood around that side was going and the only way to address that was to have windows. The representative said we could put them in sliders, but I wish I was given a sample because I didn’t have a choice. It was like the spur of the moment and a little too fast. I was going to have it done in May but they said to have it done in the winter.
After everything was done, they had to come back because outside, between the window shelf and the shingles, it didn’t butt right. As a homeowner who worked my whole life, I had to be very meticulous of what I’ve done and I didn’t notice the problem until maybe three weeks when I looked under. When finance called me, I said they can pay those guys because I didn’t want that to log on and I asked how to resolve the issue. I went back to BJ’s and explained what was wrong, and a representative helped me. I came home and took pictures, and then I sent the pictures to them on my phone. The guys from Power Home were supposed to come the day after New Year to resolve the issue because there are gaps there, between a half to three-quarters of an inch and a foot to three, and they could be a water problem. I had a couple of suggestions because I was trying to figure it out as well.
The guys could have put more foam in between those windows and they didn’t, and I didn’t go out and check as there was too much debris. They should have been a little more thorough because I was paying for it and I took them cash. Other than that, the people from Power Home were very courteous and I got the same guys I wanted. They were very professional and they knew what they were doing. They were well-organized and quick and they had all of their equipment. Power Home Remodeling Group did quite a few windows in the bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen and I was happy with their work and the fellows who installed them. They did an excellent job and everything was beautiful.

Everybody from the installation team was friendly and was nice. I was very surprised how cold it was out there. I said, "If you need to go to the bathroom, go to the bathroom." Not one of them ever came in. Their quality of work was very good. The foreman was the nicest one. Our house is about 40 years, the siding is very old and nothing outside has been done. One day, the Power Home truck pulled up and they did some work on the street behind us. They introduced themselves and said who they were and asked if we would be interested in doing something on the outside of our home. So, we talked to them and they showed us what they do on the headers, gutters, and siding. We decided to engage with them. However, the reps mismeasured the first time so the price came up when they came to do it. We told them we were not going to pay that price since it was their fault. We spoke with somebody in the management and they went halfway with us and reduced the price.
We did the siding, headers, and gutters first all around the house and it was finished last November. Then, we told them that our door was very drafty and it didn’t give any home appeal so we thought of replacing it as well. They showed us some pictures of that. We invited them back and did our front door. We picked the door with a design that had glass and pseudo panels. It was very beautiful but the only problem was the mailbox was way down at the bottom. We took away our storm door and since we get a lot of mails, we’ll be adding another mailbox on the outside.
The installers were good and we had positive interactions with them. They cleaned up perfectly. They had a power vacuum and they covered everything inside when we did the door. I dealt with the foreman and there was somebody from the company who called afterward and came by to ask how things were going and to call them for any questions. Power Home dealt with high-end products and it was really worth it in the end. All the new things we did were so much better than what we had originally. Our house felt much warmer. If my friend would need this kind of work done, they should engage with Power Home.

A month and a half ago, Power Home put our windows then came back to put the patio door. They did what they were supposed to do and were really good about it. They took out the trash and swept the floor from the window’s dirt. I didn't have to do anything.
My son was the one who sat down with them and he was glad that he was home the day of the installation. He was with them when they were placing the windows. My wife and I were going through fairs and one of the reps from Power Home Remodeling Group was there. We had a chat with him and I got to admit that the attitude about the company and how much he believes in it has been phenomenal. He was able to convince us to purchase the barrier in the attic. Then, later on, another guy came out and then he talked to us. We wanted to get the windows in the kid's room done and we came at the time when the back door was messed up. So we got two windows and a door from them too.
Up to this point, I'm very satisfied. It is now cooler in the back part of the house where the attic is so the barrier is obviously working. The only thing which I'm not sure if it's part of the job is when the guy who came out kept coming up with ways to get us to purchase the windows and the doors since we told him we couldn't afford them. My credit is almost 800 so I know we qualified for some kind of special price. He gave it to us the second time but my wife still wasn't satisfied with the price that we were to pay. Then he went down and down again. I just told him upfront and be like, “Hey, this is what we can do.” But I understand he had to negotiate. Outside of that, everything was fine and there was not one person that I got a look or feel that it wasn't genuine what they were saying about Power Home Remodeling Group.

They were ready to go, were very courteous, professional and cleaned up after themselves which was great. And when I had questions, they were answered. They had to come a second day to complete the work, and everything was reviewed and checked to make sure that the installation was complete and professional looking.
The sales rep was very polite and very thorough. Power Home has good customer service, product, and installation. I like the windows and could tell the difference in the house quickly, with the temperature in the house and how often the thermostat activates. Power Home was doing some work in the neighborhood and when they asked if we were interested in having our windows done down the line and get a free estimate, I let them in. Their representative, Brad, was friendly and I normally don't go out and talk to people because we have to be careful, but there was a girl in the background, too. They seemed okay. Brad explained everything really well and showed us the window. And we had Andersen out last year and we didn't go with them. They were more expensive. And Power Home's representatives knew about Andersen and they said it's a very good window. But we didn't want to spend that kind of money. And when I saw Power Home's window, it was really good, too. And Brad said that they manufacture their own windows, which was a big plus. Andersen does not manufacture their own windows, and they have someone do it instead. We wanted to do the windows and we were ready to do it so we did it with Power Home.
The installation team was nice, very efficient, really quick, and they cleaned up after themselves. There was an unfortunate thing that was no one's fault but they caught it in time which was commendable. We have two picture windows in the house and they saw that the side of one of them was cracked. So then we had to wait another three weeks, but it's better than down the road, they have to come out.
There was a follow-up from someone who comes to show you how to clean and open the windows properly. And he was very nice and very thorough but he was trying to get me to spend more money. He told me the truth. We wanted to do the basement but we're not ready to do it financially. It was the same song and dance and he said, "Well I can give this to you now but I can't give it to you even tomorrow because I'm here now, I can do it now." And my mother said she doesn't want to sign something at that time. She is the kind of person where if you push her one way, the door closes behind. And it's her house and she knows what she wants and what she doesn't. So she got up and started doing other things. And I told the guy that when she says no, it's no. The guy doesn't let it go, so I told him that my mother dusting the dining room while he's in the house was her polite way of saying no.
He sorted it out and he got up and he left and didn't even say goodbye. He smiled but it was one of those phony little smiles, but there was no big deal. When he left, my mom asked if I know how they do the windows but I don't. So when they came out again to put the other window, they showed me again. But if the guy didn't have to come back, I'd have to call Power Home up like an idiot. So it would be good for the company to have a diagram of how to close and open the window to make sure you're doing it right. There's a little secret and it would be very helpful if they had a sheet that shows you the proper way especially the up and down windows, where you have to open it part way in order to clean the top one. People could break the window if they start trying to pull it all the time.
But I like that they have a guarantee so if something goes wrong no matter what, they have to come out. If we sell the house, the person after us still has the guarantee. Power Home's professionalism was great. If you call them, it's like they all take happy pills. Each person is friendlier than the next and they all sound happy. And it was explained to me that they are happy where they work and no one wants to go anywhere because they have very good benefits and they're treated well. I would definitely recommend them.

A Power Home representative came knocking on my door and then after, a second guy came in to give us a presentation. He was a very cool guy. He stood in here for four hours. He was talking and having a good time, but he had presented very well. With the demo, he showed us the quality of the windows. He did the test break when he got a hammer and started banging on the glass and it didn't break. And then he showed us online all the awards that Power Home won. The installation team was in and out. They were really quick, professional and did a good job. In one day, they did two floors and one window in the basement and it lasted 6 hours, so it was super-efficient and their customer service was excellent. The work they did was amazing. Once they installed everything, they repainted everything that got chipped. It looked like I bought the house with the windows already in it.
I told the last guy who came in to check in on the window that they could have a YouTube video where they show the difference on their windows. It was probably on the website but everybody is on YouTube and nobody has the patience to read articles. They showed me on the website but there was a lot of clips whereas, with everybody else, you just share them a link on YouTube and it's a little bit faster. But I already recommended Power Home.

My husband got introduced to Power Home Remodeling Group and we were interested in them because it’s a local company out at Pennsylvania. We also like the fact that they have all their own employees and they don’t subcontract out to other people to do the actual work, as well as the quality of their product. They have their actual employees and they’re trained and certified. We got roofing and siding and we will be doing doors in the next couple of weeks. The salesperson who came and we spoke with was very informative and our experience with him was very positive. The installation team was very professional and very approachable. My husband was here when they did the roof and I was here when they did the siding. We were both very impressed with them. The roofing was done quickly and a large team came out.
The siding had much fewer people and there was only two at one point in time, and then three so it took a bit longer than we had anticipated for the siding. But the jobs were both done well. We’re very happy with the quality of the work and they did a very good job. Everyone was accessible. We had people’s cellphone numbers so that was good. Our job is working with insurance and they don’t normally work directly with insurance but the folks in their headquarters in Pennsylvania were very accommodating. We had one fellow we were working with who tried to send as much information as possible to the insurance company. In the end, everything worked out for us so that was great. They were willing to do whatever they could to help provide the information necessary so I was really happy with that.
One thing that’s a potential downside is because they are such a large company and have so many jobs going, there are lots of different people you deal with. We have a salesperson, then the one who comes in and confirms what the salesperson said and then the one that accepted the job, but he’s not the one who comes, it’s someone else. It gets a bit confusing but it really isn’t a problem. At one point, my husband and I were taking notes because we can’t remember who said what. They have to be very clear once the job is set up, who really is going to be the person managing the entire job. Eventually, we got that clarified and that was fine. It really wasn’t an issue but was something that was overwhelming for me and my husband.

I talked a couple of times with the sales reps from Power Home, and I liked them as well as the product. One of the big selling points was they didn't want any money upfront until a certain time, which made me trust them a little better. If I'm not happy with something, I didn't give them any money. I talked to a couple of other companies and I was not impressed with them. But it would not have been such a nightmare and it would've made me a bit less anxious about making a decision if Power Home gave me a little time. They should give customers time to think about stuff overnight. Quick sale is not a good idea when you're talking about that kind of money. And Power Home needs to have more information online. I had a hard time trying to look any information up afterwards.
I picked siding instead of repainting because I'm 65 years old and I didn't want to have to deal with something in five years again. The first crew that came out evidently does windows but they didn't have a clue in putting a siding on. One of the selling points of all companies is that they say that their crew is specially-trained. When I called the inspector for some other questions, he came out, looked, and said he'd pull out the crew. It took a couple of days before anybody else was free to come out.
The next group did know what they were doing but I totally could not communicate with them and they barely understood anything I was saying. But they were friendly and did a good job. They, obviously, had done this work a lot of times because I think siding has to be one of the horrible job to put up. There's so much measuring and little detail work. The inspector went from place to place and checked everything. I like him. The siding looks good now and I'm glad I did it. Overall, I'm happy with Power Home. They had good warranties and, hopefully, they will carry through with all their promises about the future and different things.

My gutter was replaced, including all the wood around it and the patio door. I thought that it would not be done and it took a few days, but the first crew that did the gutters were great. They were very courteous, polite and made sure that I received everything that was promised. Also, the guy who came to do my patio door was excellent and he did it by himself. Power Home Remodeling did an excellent job with our windows and sliding door. My husband and I decided on getting them knowing that they hire a lot of plumbers, military people and they do what they do good, and they only have to do one kind of thing like with the windows. Also, most of it was because of how helpful they were. The guy from the sales team was in our house for six hours and he answered every question we asked. He went over different options with us. He was extremely helpful spending time with us making sure we understood the process so that we could go through and get what we wanted to at that time. And then, before installation, someone came out and measured everything. He was very friendly. They made our appointment earlier by a couple of days so we got the windows installed earlier. They were quick but they did a really good job. They showed my husband what they did and everything they needed to do.
Also, one of the things that strike me into them is everybody that came into our house was like, "Oh, we love your dogs." They took pictures of our dogs and everybody wanted to take pictures with our dogs. But they were just super friendly and they weren't pressuring anything. They made sure that we understood everything that was going on and gave more options.
The quality assurance guy then came in and double checked everything. He also put some more caulking on the front window. The only issue that we're having is that the handle on the sliding door is really loose and we don't understand why but everything else was perfect. Power Home Remodeling went above and beyond. They were willing to make sure that we were happy with what we got and worked with us and just been there every step of the way. After they put in the first installation, we scheduled another one for more windows.

I got an insulation and flooding barrier from Power Home Remodeling Group. And then, subsequently, I got windows and a couple of doors. I was able to customize the windows and doors. My experience with the sales team lasted a lot longer than I thought it was going to and that was a little annoying. Initially, I only had the attic stuff installed and that was fine, except that they caused them electrical problems throughout the house. This was about three or four weeks ago, and I had to get an electrician to fix it, and I'm still waiting.
They said that they would reimburse me over $300 to get it fixed. The cost was to get my electrical problem fixed because this probably happened to at least a third of my house, and the outlets and lights weren't working so I am miffed about that. I haven't gotten that reimbursement yet. The overall quality of the work is fine as far as what's been done so far and the product seems very high quality. The cost is high and I'll probably cringe every month having to pay that.

There have been some bad things with Power Home. They got me in and overpowered me on the sales call. Also, they oversold me on the performance of some of the things that I asked about. At the end of the sales call, when I agreed to sign the contract with them, they gave me a rigid price. Then, they told me about some deal they had on the payment plan and I said I didn’t want to fool with that. I would pay cash when the job will be done.
The job got done and they pressured me into signing some things that was I completely happy with their work. A little while after that, I got a thing from the mortgage company so evidently, they had already put it in and enforced. The day they finished the job here, no one came to me to tell me the job was done and to give them a check. Now, they got me set up to whom I make payments on this damn thing.
When I called them about installing the windows, I was given information over the phone that it would be orderly and that they would take a window out and put a window in. The big reason I asked about that was because I didn’t want to be going down the side of the house taking all the windows out and here comes a 40-mile an hour wind and 20-degree temperature or something, but the man assured me that, "We take a window out, we put a window in." So, I didn’t worry about scooping things around in the house. The day they came here, there were about 3 truck loads and lot of people running everywhere. There must’ve been 30 people here. That was not hardly what they had told me at the beginning. If I had known that, I’d went through the house and cleared all the beds and everything all the way.
Not long after they got here, one guy said he needed to use a bathroom. We had a smaller bathroom out next to the office in the house and I escorted him out there. There was soap, water, a commode, and everything they needed. I told him they could use that bathroom. Before the day was over, they were running in and out to a brand new remodeled bathroom. When they got through, we had to go and scour the floor, the wall and everything, which was a pain.
When they were installing the window over the kitchen sink, I went by and looked in there and one of them was standing up on top of the kitchen sink. The new granite top was not over four inches wide. I was thinking he'd break it. He didn’t and when I can find time, I want to put my level up there and see if he bent the front of the sink which cost us $800 to put in. If these guys didn’t have a ladder, we had a little short one that he could’ve stood on and easily have done what he was doing instead of jumping up on top.
This same guy later on was standing up on top of the chest-type freezer. The top of the freezer was bent into a V shape. So before they got out here, I called their attention to it. They took the freezer top off and pushed on it. Not long after they left, I looked in there and the stuff on the top was getting soft. So, I went out there and put some weight around the top of the freezer. Then, another day or two, I went out there and looked and it was freezing up inside. The freezer had taken air in and then freezing into ice inside.
After they got the windows put in, they called me and told me when they would be inspected. Two of the windows were within two feet of an exit door, one in the kitchen and another in the garage. The inspector polished and shined the glass looking for a tempered glass and didn’t see on either one of them. He couldn’t give me a decent inspection report. So, I called and told them and they made an appointment. They’re supposed to come back out here and put in two tempered glasses there. I’m going to have to sit down and talk to them to see if we can get these things straightened out and if we don’t, I’m going to go and let my attorney talk with them. These things should not have happened.

I had a good, streamlined experience speaking with the reps and the installation team was really good. The work was done in five hours and the quality is very good. I would use their services again if I needed them. It's better to get a service done once than to have to go out and get it done again in the time that a Power Home Remodeling project will last.

I liked the warranty given by Power Home Remodeling Group and the roofing material that the product itself had definitely seemed to be a lot more durable, given the fact that knowing with winters, you get subzero temperatures, and then we get very humid summers. The roof was done by the previous owner and there were shingles going off and missing. I noticed that the roof that I had on my house currently was a 25-year to a 30-year warranty on the shingles. It was done about 22 years ago and we were having leaks so Power was guaranteeing the products for 50 years no matter the weather so I definitely liked that with a transferable warranty in case we wanted to sell the property. It was another selling point for our property.
If you're buying a better material than something you get off the shelf at Home Depot or Lowe's, it's going to be more money so it was either get the $28 bundle shingles at Home Depot that are saying would go 25 years, or the spread on the price may be bumped a few dollars more per bundle and you're going to get double lifetime that you would get at Home Depot or Lowe's. So that's why it was a better value. We had roof and gutters done. Gutters were a little pricey with Power. I could have gotten them done for $1500 less through somewhere else but they wouldn't offer a lifetime warranty on the gutters.
I can probably get them done for $2000 to $2500 and we spent $4000 through Power but, with the winters and everything else here, at some point, gutters are going to fall off the property and get damaged so with the warranty on it, it was better spending the extra money upfront and be guaranteed for life. There was another discount doing some energy savings recording with them so that also brought the price down. But if I didn't have those options, I would have never signed or gone with Power. The original price was in the mid $20,000 range so we ended up paying around $15,000 for the work.
The sales team member and I spent a few hours going over different things and I had a lot of questions for them. He was helpful, very knowledgeable about the product, and gave some good pointers on different things. The salesperson took some good measurements of the property and gave a good estimate the first day. He was able to point out things to look out for, even issues that I currently had with the roof and the gutters so he was able to give me some information that I could take away from that for future reference for my property and others. He was very detailed with the material and was able to work with me as far as pricing so he did a good job. The roofers were great and were helpful because I had questions for them while they were here. They did a good clean-up job. I was doing some clean-up around the property over the weekend and I found another 40 or 50 nails that they missed but they were very good.
However, I was not happy with the work of the installers on the gutters at all. The gutters are up and they look great but their clean-up and the process in which they took down the old gutters weren’t. They damaged some of my decking caps where they tore down the old gutters. We got a brand-new deck and ramp on our property so when they were taking down the old gutters, they dropped them off to the side of the house. When they dropped off to the side of house, they broke a couple of caps and scratched a bunch of the railing. The quality of the work was really good. They got most of the roof done the first day and came back on the second day. I wished they came back in the morning rather than the afternoon though. They didn't get here until about 1:00 to 1:30 so they didn't finish up until about 7:00 at night, which was an inconvenience. It, however, wasn't the contractor's fault.
They were pushed to another job site to fix and repair some things so they were about a day and a half for the roof. They had a fairly big crew and had about eight or nine guys working. As far as the gutters are concerned, it took them about five hours total although there were only two people. It was two-day total with both crews here getting all the work done. They did really good but it could have been better as far as timing, where the guys had to come back and finish up. They had somebody come over this past weekend to replace the post caps and clean up all the scuff marks and scratches along the railings, so follow through clean-up was good. It was just the gutter crew that really hurt these things.
People should be completely honest and they should get quotes, understand products that people are coming with before they sit down to set up a meeting with the rest from Power so they can see the difference in pricing and materials. The reason why it's more expensive here is that the materials are a lot better. But also, that being said, you can get pricing and some background on other contractors before going with Power because you get that discount if you go with Power and sign-up with them the first day. This way, they can get the benefit of the savings rather than them saying, "No. We want to get some other quotes and other prices from other contractors."

There was a Power Home Remodeling guy walking around, knocking on doors. I was out on the curb and it so happen that I was in the market for replacing some windows so he got me at the right time. I looked at their website after he came by and saw that they were a local company with home improvement as their focus and they looked like an interesting company. I decided to meet one of the sales reps and he was really nice. My experience was overall positive. I just felt the presentation was a little long. Nonetheless, some of the stuff they had was helpful. The rep went out and hauled out a whole window unit sample to show me how it's different from what's on the market. He also did a cost-benefit analysis of purchasing windows through Power versus a similar Andersen Window type system. He even showed me that the windows were marginally higher but a lot more value. It definitely helped me make the decision.
Their model is they'll give you more extensive sales presentation, but they want to close you on the spot. It's not high pressure but Power Home put in a walk away incentive meaning if you don't move on it now, the incentive goes away. I don't do business like that because it feels like being pressured into doing something. But because I was looking at replacing the windows and I liked the product from what they described, it was okay for me. Their installers were efficient, clean and they did a good job. I’m happy with how the windows came out. It was a fair deal in terms of the cost of the service. I already have a window in my kitchen and I'd like to make a garden window and do that in the spring. A rep knocked on our door and gave us some Power Home Remodeling Group's pamphlet. We set up a schedule which was supposed to be on the following Saturday at around 10:00 but the rep never showed up. When I told a guy in a fans club we were in about that, he said that he could get a salesperson out and guaranteed that one would be on time. We agreed on 10 o’clock and Courtney showed up two minutes to 10. She was wonderful and was the best employee they got. She was here five hours demoing them. The demo impressed me and I ended up signing up with them.
Power Home advertises the fact that every window is customized. The rep she goes by the standard 4x5 and before they order the windows, they have a couple of guys come out and measure them. My outside is all brick and our brick seals are a little bit higher than the window. So they allowed to shim the window out so that I’d have good drainage and nothing coming back into the window space in a rainstorm. They’re down to a quarter of an inch, 4 feet by 5 feet. After they measured it, they ordered the windows. So it was not a quick process.
I ordered the windows July 26 from Courtney. She said it was going to be September and I told her to do what she could do. Their service was not the best in the world. I briefed everybody from Powers that they were supposed to be installed October 10 and 11. But they called on the 9th and they said they'd be there the next day and that we should have everything ready. My wife and I took all the drapes down and moved furniture. The house was a disaster. But they called back the morning on the 10th and they said we wouldn't be able to make it for a few days. I came unglued and told them that I wasn't going along with the program. This was set up for two months and since they had the windows, they should get them in.
I ended up calling the main branch in Pennsylvania and raised hell. The guy there made me mad because he kept going "Mm-hmm, mm-hmm." I told them that if I knew I was going to be treated that way I wouldn’t have gotten their windows and I hung up. About 20 minutes later, the phone rang and it was somebody local from the Colorado branch saying we had a cancellation and that they would be in our place in an hour and a half. And they were here ahead of that time. They got all the windows in but when our inspector came, something wrong was found out. I said that when we went to wash the windows, two of the sliders we couldn't get out.
We were told that installers would be sent back. They were supposed to be here two weeks ago between 7 and 9 but they never called. I called the Pennsylvania main branch at 11 o'clock and they said the installers were not going to be here today. At 7, a phone call would have been pretty easy to do and the rep acknowledged that. It’s winter time and they were busy which I understood. The installers come back yesterday and fixed the two sliders. The job was completed and I paid them. I’m still waiting for the city inspector though.
I’m very happy with the windows, replaced 10. They are just great and the noise factor is unreal too. We live about a quarter of a mile from the railroad tracks and I got to really listen to hear the train. I’d get them again. But you don’t pay anything until you’re 100% satisfied. Power Home builds a super product but they have to get something better like super people when it comes to the installing of their stuff. They just don’t run their departments well. I was not happy with the way they did business after the sale. Their service isn't worth anything and they ought to change it.
We went to fans club yesterday and a guy approached me about the Power windows and I said I just paid for them. He said he was part of the company's team so I told him the whole story. He said the issue would be taken to the right people. I gave him my name and contact details. Other than that issue, I've been recommending the windows to people. In fact, Courtney left me a dozen cards of hers and I’ve handed them out.

It was more pricey than I felt like we would go and get elsewhere but the quality and the way that each of the people made us feel was better than me saving a couple of bucks.
The sales team members were all young and their knowledge was great. The way the conversations went and the way we spoke to each other, it seemed like that they were customers once in their life and they could understand us being the homeowners and the parents. It was a big deal that I had to drop several thousands of dollars on a roof and they understood and they went along with it, every question, without taking much thought or going around. They knew the answer and they had enough experience and had an answer or suggestion or had something to go with everything that we were talking. And it was better than any other kind of conversation with any other home type of remodeling that I’ve ever had to deal with. The installation team was a proven. I was scheduled for two days of work and they finished it within one day but it wasn’t a full day of work.
It was amazing how well they worked as a team to get the job done quicker than I expected. There was a traffic manager that came by mid-afternoon when they were about to finish. After they were done the head of that team took me around the property and showed me a few things while talking. The whole thing was good. It’s been a couple of weeks now and I feel better about it now knowing that this new home that we just bought is a little safer. They did the gutters as well on a separate trip. From my experience and being done with it and now starting to make a payment it was much better to pay the money than to try to scramble and get those things done cheaper. Sometimes you pay for a little bit peace of mind.

We are very happy with everything Power Home did. We got the windows changed in the house a few years ago. It was Sam's Wholesale, then one of the guys came to me and the windows in my house were so messed. I talked to someone and then I spoke to my son and that's how we got Power Home the first time. Now, regarding the roof, it was one of the guys working and he told me that something was not good in the ceiling before. Then I spoke to my son and he came to check and everything looked messed up. It happens that it was the same company that changed the windows before. We were happy with what Power Home did with the windows. We are supposed to get someone who's here and they're here for sure. I know they did a good job the first time so we're expecting to have a good warranty on the second time that we use the same company. Everything was so easy and everything was done on time when they were supposed to be.

Power Home Remodeling Group did our windows in the attic. The salesperson was personable, patient and knowledgeable. Also, instead of packages that they were offering, we were able to do what we wanted to do. The installers came three times and they were excellent. The last installer did a fantastic job but he was alone and bore all the burden. If he needed to use the bathroom or eat, there was no one to hold up the other end of the window, which was very unfair to him and was bordering on abuse. It should have been at least two people or he should have had a helper. He came in early, and he left about 6:00. I didn't see him eat once. Other than that, the quality of work was excellent. They're very professional, very careful with detail and very clean.

Power Home Remodeling did our windows, doors, siding and they put up new gutters for me. Everything was good. I was satisfied along the way with everything. But the last time they installed two windows for my bathroom and apparently from walking on the roof above to put the windows in on the second floor and then pulling the windows out and putting the windows in again the whole roof is coming down. The fellow must have known it because he nailed it up like over the last windows that they put in. I only discovered it now because I never looked up,
There was nothing wrong with the ceiling before so it’s just that it got loose from then. But as far as the job I love both doors that they did and I love the windows so far. I had storm windows over wooden windows but the storm window protected the other window which had started to peel and the putty had come out and the glass was loose so I decided to do the whole thing because it’s expensive to do that kind of a job painting and put glass in. That was the reason I had Power Home Remodeling.
The workers were very nice and so far and I don’t see anything that I could complain about except the ceiling. I have a sick person here and I have his room which is locked and the room he’s in now, which those two rooms I did not do the windows in, I would like to that maybe later on. The last fellow that came had it in a bundle and gave me a price and he told me what the price would be for three years. I had wanted to get in touch with him because I did not do the basement and the part of the part of the basement is a door and brick that used to be like a garage but we made one big room there.
I would have liked to have done the outside of that had I thought of it because it’s still the face of the building and I don’t like the way it is now. I would have liked to put that in for the next time I have anything done. Everybody was nice. Even the last fellow that was here. The people from Power Home Remodeling are polite and they do their jobs the way they were supposed to. Even when they went away with my broom by mistake they were so nice and brought it back.

We were impressed that Power Home Remodeling Group came out with the sample of the window and explained the mechanisms and the whole nine yards, as opposed to somebody else just bringing out a picture book and you're trying to figure out what’s going to happen. We got visuals for four hours so we went with Power Home. I told the guy putting the bay window in that it appeared to be not correct in terms of the size. It was smaller than it should have been in terms of the seat and the measurement. So, we went back and forth and had a three-way because my husband is currently working out of town. It was difficult for all of us to get together.
Shane, the last person we’ve spoken to, came out and did other measurements. He conferred with somebody else at Power Home and we were told that we were going to get a new window to be installed on November 30th. That, hopefully, should be have the appropriate dimensions. At this point, I’m pleased that he paid attention, listened and explained.

They explained the product extensively - how the windows work and how they were designed, and they did really good with it. I got three windows and the installer I got was very efficient. He came in on time and went right to work. He was there for a little while though, about six hours because it was just him. I love the windows. Someone was walking on the street and doing door-to-door telling neighbors and myself about Power Home Remodeling Group. The salesman made an impression on me so I tried to ask him more questions. I had a two-car garage detached from the house I decided put gutters on and did some repair. There was also some repair done on the walls of the garage. I matched the siding to the siding that already existed on the house and it all looks good. The experience with the sales rep was satisfactory. It was expensive because many years ago, I built the two-car garage for about the same price it cost me to side it. But in the end, if you look back on it, it was worth it.
It was a pleasure working with Power Home from when they first started to the very end and their contact letting me know what was happening and when it was going to be done. They only missed it by a day. But it was a bad day of rain, so I can understand why they would not have come out and done the work on that day. So, it was one day later than they have said. The quality was excellent and I would recommend them. If someone was looking for assistance with some home repair or home remodeling, I would give them a good A+ rating.

They were really good and didn't seem like fly-by-night type of people. The windows are good quality as well. I checked them out as best as I could and they also have people selling them at Sam's so I know Sam's had undoubtedly checked them out too.
The installers came on time and stayed until the job was done. I had all my windows replaced and they did a good job. But they're very expensive. I'm not saying they're not worth it, as I have been saving up for them, but I'm not sure that people could afford them even if I recommended them to somebody. Power Home Remodelling Group had done another job in our neighborhood and stopped by with a free estimate. We liked their guarantee and warranties on the products. We got new windows and doors and the sales team member did a very good job of explaining everything that was going on. The only thing that I would’ve liked him to have the knowledge of was when we’re first looking at the type of windows we wanted. He didn’t catch the fact that our roof goes in front of some of the windows and that the type of windows that we wanted wouldn’t work in those places because of how the roof was set up next to them. So when the project manager came out to talk to us he had to point that out and changed a lot of our actual project.
The installation team was wonderful. They were very careful about opening doors with my dogs around. They communicated everything that was going on. I stayed home and worked from home while this is all happening and they were great. They were very clean with the installation. When I was on the phone they tried to be quiet even though I didn’t ask them to. They were very courteous. Our project finished a little bit later but that was due to weather. On a project before ours they ran into a ton of rain and there were some stuff that they couldn’t get finished. But they were very prompt about calling me ahead of time to let me know that this was the case so that I could prepare. They were a little bit more expensive and I know that's not something everybody can afford but the overall look and quality of the work was fantastic.

I just moved in to this home in July and I wanted to take bids for the installation of windows in my home, but Power Home Remodeling wanted to show me what I would be getting with the bid. So, the guys from Power came and put a window in, and the super window they installed was special. It was hardly breakable and it was sealed off so only three percent of the heat and cooling escaped it. In most homes, the people are lucky if they maintain 50% of the heat and cooling. I had Power do all the windows in my home.
I watched the installers as they worked and they were up, positive, professional and well-adjusted, and they were happy and proud of what they were doing, which tells you that the management they have is good and extraordinary. The company goes across the country and I was impressed that their management runs an organization like that, with employees that are treated well and who are dedicated to the company and what it stands for. That's the kind of management I'd respect. I would hire any of their installers in a minute after seeing the work that they did for us. They'll be back in December to put the front door in, which will be awesome, and then they'll install the back door too. Like the windows, only three percent of the heat and cooling escape these doors, so I will be getting a big discount on my taxes with this.
Power charges more that other home remodeling companies and their products are not cheap, but you're getting more for your money with them. I could do with cheaper doors, but I wouldn't have to worry about these units again. Power guarantees everything and their products are good for my lifetime, and when I go and my kid gets this house, they'll be good for her lifetime too. When you get cheap work, you're throwing money as time goes by. Here, there's no more money going into the purchase. If there's anything wrong with the product, they'll be here within two days to fix it. Power is the best and I'm very satisfied with them. If you want to have windows installed or have anything done that they do, you will not go wrong with them. These guys are impeccable and the work they did for us was impeccable as well.

The first team that came out for the gutters and the siding on the outside of the roof or the windows were great.
There was a second time and they were good. What used to be a garage is now a building for a church. But there was some young lady that came that was cursing and screaming. That’s very inappropriate since she was representing their company and she was in a property of a church. My neighbors were extremely out since it’s loud and that was disrespecting my property and my neighbors as well. We are affiliated with Sam's Club and we know that Power Home Remodeling works out of Sam's Club. When I was outside doing some yard work, a young man came up and talked to me about Power which was how we got the estimate. They already had put a roof on for us and we were due for one since our roof was over 20 years old. I was trying to get a better deal through the insurance company for homeowners and they suggested that we have a new roof put on and then they would see about lowering our cost for the premium. We didn't trust anybody local, though. We didn't think we were going to get top quality and that the job was going to be worked on as fast as Power would have taken care of it.
We liked the way we were treated by Power and the way everything was explained. Everything was honest and guaranteed, and the supplies were top quality. Also, the financing and the no money-down helped. We had a small skylight in the bathroom that we had put in ourselves and they told us that they would take care of it for us and put that back in again. They even did so much as to go out and get a new vent because our builder didn't vent our bathroom steam outside. So for 20 plus years, we had that vented into our attic. Power told us about it and they went to the store, got the parts needed and told us that everything was included in. They replaced the wood whereas other roofers might not have done. They went above and beyond and did everything that we were told.
There were people there that were strictly the cleanup crew who thoughtfully cleaned up as they were going along the installation. They didn't let things build up. They also covered up the pond we had in the back. We're getting more work done like the full stone in the front of the house which I'm looking forward to seeing. But so far, I love the roof and I would definitely recommend them.

I've been trying to get people to come out and give me quotes on my attic insulation issue. Power was a little high on pricing, but it was to a point where my bill was $350 a month. Everyone who came said it's the AC unit. But it was the attic insulation. My AC was just working too hard, but it's finally going down anytime soon. The people from Power Home Remodeling Group seemed more knowledgeable when they had come through and the sales team was professional, so when they said what they were going to do, I gave them a chance.
Our insulation was pretty much shut and they showed me all the panels that go on the roof. Then they installed some NASA-approved insulation panels inside the attic, which basically repels the heat. They had the instructions displayed on how their products work. They also gave examples of how the temperature would stay low. In fact, they had a little model home made out of plastic glass and it showed how the heat is controlled more with the new panels that they installed.
I've had a lot of people down in my home and the guy from Power was a professional. I had AT&T come out to redo a satellite and they had to go in the attic. And to show the professionalism of Power versus AT&T, the AT&T installer had just ripped all through my ceiling. Then he drilled the roof and drilled into the ceiling on another room to run the cable. It was horrible. I'm still looking to try and get all of it repaired. On the other hand, the installer from Power came on time and was very efficient. When he came in, he didn't know it was my attic. He was really tall inside that he had to come back the second day to install the rest of the panels. So far, the quality of his work was really good. It hasn’t been as hot as it’s been before. Overall, everything was very good. A lot of people I know wouldn’t pay that much for insulation but the overall picture of it is energy savings.

My neighbor moved in about four months ago. One day, he was getting his roof done and the crew was doing a hell of a job. It looks really, really nice and neat. It was perfect. So after they were done, they put a sign on his lawn. It said Power Home Remodeling. Before that, I have been trying to get in touch with them for the last year and a half and I kept missing appointments. One time, they never showed up. And then I had to reschedule a couple of times after because my wife wasn't going to be around.
So I asked my neighbor how was the roof. He told me it was beautiful. They really did a great job. They even threw in the shutters for him. That kind of wore on me so I called and made an appointment with them. I've met Tom, one of the reps who came over, and although he was only 26, he knew everything about roofs like there was no tomorrow. It was fabulous. The best part about Power Home Remodeling people is they don’t push it on you. I've been through companies that push things for you to buy many times in my life. And I can tell when a company’s trying to do that.
Tom didn't do that at all. He just took a step back and said he's not going to tell me to get the roof. He added that I can go elsewhere and get the roofs and it won't be a problem with him. What he told me is what they offer to put on my roof, then what the other companies would put instead, and the difference in price. The price is going to be a little more. But he showed me the stuff they will put on every nook and cranny of my roof. He showed everything to my father in law too, who knows a lot about roofs and he can't believe the stuff they’re putting on.
He looked at me and said to get the roof done. That what he's putting there will make the roof last a long, long time. So he got us sold and we went with them. And their workers did a fabulous job. They came on time and cleaned up everything. The inspection guy came after and he did his inspection. It was awesome. Other than that, we had a little issue with the shutters in front of the house.
We thought the color was going to be a little bit different like it goes with the shutter but it doesn't. It isn't a big deal though. We will have another guy coming over since we're going to get the windows done too by Power Home. Overall, they have great people and the company is awesome. It's a plus that there’s a 15-year warranty on the roof so once we sell it and leave the house, the roof is still warrantied for the next people.

It just happened that the salespeople from Power Home Remodeling Group were going door to door so I set up an appointment to see what they had to offer. The first person who came out and did the demonstration was very thorough. He went through everything. He then looked at the different types of windows as far as the trim on the front, as well as the grid pattern. We were able to get what I really wanted and I was happy about that.
The team who installed the windows was very professional. They cleaned up after themselves and also cleaned the windows and vacuumed the floor. It was a wonderful experience. When they were done installing, one of the gentlemen was very good about going through the windows with me. He showed me how to close and open them and clean both sides. So far, the windows look excellent. It’s like night and day from the ones I had in before. They’re sturdy. We’ve already had snow and I barely had the heat on. Overall, everybody at Power Home Remodeling was very professional. I didn't feel anyone was lacking in any way. And although the presentation was too long, it was very informative. I have already recommended them to people.

We had a couple of windows that needed to be changed out and we got Power Home to do it. We went with them because they gave us a lifetime warranty for the windows. Their sales rep was great. Since they wanted to meet me and my wife at the same time, he worked around our schedule and was able to come out and see us even though it was late. We went through the whole process of knowing what kind of windows we want and how do we want it to look like. We went through a number of different kind of ideas but we asked for the same type. Their installation team also did great. They were in and out quickly, were very nice, answered questions and walked us through everything they were going to do. They also cleaned up really well. It's expensive to do but the way Power Home went through everything, it was definitely worth it.

Power Home Remodeling Group put a new roof on my neighbor's house and it looked very good. So, I gave them a call to get an estimate and see if I have any roof damage on my house. They came out, took a look at it. And then they told me there was some hail damage to my roof. So I contacted my insurance company and they sent somebody out.
Power Home's sales representative was very good. He was laid back, but also very knowledgeable. He laid everything out. The only problem I had was the cost was a little high. But when he mentioned there was a lifetime warranty, that helped me a little bit to offset it. Also, the warranty is transferable. If I sell the house or somebody else gets the house, the warranty goes with it.
Being that it’s a lifetime, we’d probably save money in the long run. After all, two new roofs would cost more even though I paid for five. Also, it would be cheaper with a lifetime warranty since I won’t have to go and buy a whole new roof in another 15 years. Cost aside, the installation team were very efficient. They came in and we knew they were coming ahead of time. They tried to cover everything to protect any of the foliage, as well as the patio furniture. They also told us to move our stuff in the attic and away from the edges of the roof because they were going to have to take the whole thing off including the decking. So they went in there, and while it took them more than one day to finish it, they got the job done right.
Other than that, I understand that a lot of companies are going paperless. But I'm an old school so when I asked for a written invoice of the materials and what was done, they did not provide that. Even though they gave me a big printout and told me everything that was going to be done, the cost and everything at the very beginning. My insurance company, which was USAA, had to call them to confirm everything. I could have sent it instead if they had provided me with that. They did a good job though, it looked nice, and everything is like they said it was going to be. So I would recommend them. As a matter of fact, a neighbor from across the street came to my house, and now they’re getting a new roof from Power Home.

One of the homes in the subdivision was having windows in. One of Power Home Remodeling Group's representatives was walking throughout the subdivision and they rang our doorbell and said that they noticed that we had the builder's installed windows and wanted to find out if we were interested in new windows. They were the first people who came by and talked to us about windows. We knew that we needed new windows because there was moisture between the windows. And when the gentleman knocked on the door and my husband talked to him, he made an appointment to have a sales representative come and demonstrate how the windows work. And based on everything that we saw, we didn't want to really look at anyone else. We decided to take this chance and went with Power.
We got windows with windows. We were told that the windows were custom-made specific to the windows that we had. And they're coming back sometime in November to install a new back door and gutters. The sales rep was very professional and very knowledgeable about the product. We liked his demonstration and personality.
Douglas, who was going to be overseeing everything, came in and introduced himself. He went in and double-checked all the windows to make sure that his team was ready to get started and once that was done, he brought his team in. They covered the floors because I have light colored carpeting on the floor and they made sure the floors were covered or that anyone who was working inside removed their shoes. I saw that and I liked that I didn't have to tell them to take their shoes off.
There were two issues that I had. First was the window over the sink. They had glue in the sink and it was not coming out. When they were ready to leave, my husband pointed that to Douglas and he sent someone in who spent about a half hour cleaning it up. They used a chemical to clean up whatever it was in the sink. The other issue I had was when I turned on my a garbage disposal, it was making a strange sound. So, I went in and looked at it and there were plastic parts that they were putting on the windows. Some of it fell into the garbage disposal and there was also a screw down there. So, we cleaned that up. Other than that, we had no problems with the install. They cleaned up after themselves inside and out.
I love the quality of their products. We turned on the air once they had finished the install. And we left and we came back and the temperature was like 76 degrees. It was freezing and we had to turn the air off. We started noticing how cool the windows were and this was during the heat of the day in the area where we get the most sun. So, we've been telling our neighbors about the windows and we asked them to come and look at what we have, how things worked for us and what type of product Power was offering.

I operate in an unorganized manner so I postponed my appointment time three times. They were very patient with me, kind and accommodating. And when they finally came out, the initial consultant stayed for four hours. He was very detail oriented and provided thorough information as to what was going on or what I needed or what I can take advantage of in my home. It was for me and my husband so we were both there. It was all in all, a good experience.
The installation team was professional. When they called in to say that they were coming, I told them I had a class I had to go to that day and I needed to be there at 12. They went a little bit over but I still got there in time. They were very effective. They came in, didn't bother me and were not intrusive. They were very knowledgeable in their area of expertise and answered any questions I had. I got Triplex glass which was the break-proof windows that I wanted. A young guy from Power Home Remodeling came to our door one day and since I knew we had some work to be done I made an appointment. The sales representative came in and sat down at our dining room table. We put it well that we needed a gutter and while he was explaining about that he also talked about all of the other products they have. He also explained about the company, their philosophy of doing full service and the double lifetime guarantee they have. He really went through the whole scenario and told us what to expect. The experience when they came out was on target. It was exactly like what he said.
The installers called to let us know where they were coming from. Since they had to travel on 995, which when you heard that and knew where they're coming from, there's no such thing as being on time. We just knew to expect them when they showed up. We were outside the whole day and we were coming from Bridgeport which is not so far away. But they were here on time of what they said they would be.
So we had the gutters put in and then we had windows replaced on the second floor of the house. Lastly we had the attic insulated. And then we had some more windows replaced. The installation of the windows took about the length of time they said. They were in and out during the time they had estimated it would take. The timing seems to be right on schedule and when the installation guys got here they got right to work and they installed. They cleaned up well after themselves. They didn't leave a mess around and made sure everything is finished. They were out in about three hours since installation. They wanted me to feel satisfied with their work before they leave. So far I'm very satisfied with the gutters and the windows look beautiful. And I shot my head up in the attic to look at the insulation and it's nice. I had a very positive experience with Power Home and I definitely would recommend them.

The crews that came out did a great job, kept the house clean, and picked up after themselves. However, I was expecting that someone from Power Home would actually come out and check everybody's final work, but that hasn't happened.
I was disappointed with being told that the installation will be knee high in depth. However, based on my research and phone calls, it was only going to be seven inches. I was also told I had a project manager, but they never really came out to the project to check anything, which I thought they would. However, everything else was good.
Everything that they told me happened. However, they should follow up on their crew that comes out, because I was led to believe that it was Power Home crew that was coming out, turns out they were all subcontractors. They said that all crew will be out, and to me, their crew should show up in a Power Home pickup and do their thing. I saw that they trust the subcontractors they use though. That was within my expectations because they showed me how good the company is, that they won the top 100 companies to work for. We were looking for windows. I reached out to Andersen, but nobody ever got back to me so I checked out Power Home. There were so many people that came out. The initial people that came out would like to ask me if I’ll do it or not. And they were here for four hours. The first guy was trying to sell me the insulation. It’s not the time for that. We live in a townhouse. We weren't putting that kind of money where we don’t plan on being here for a much longer. Then on the day of the window installation, some other manager came out and he was trying to sell us again the insulation. Everybody was nice, but they tried to sell real hard which is annoying.
I got four basic windows. During installation, there were two Mexican guys that were very good at what they were doing and took their time. But at the end of the visit when my husband had left for work and I was here by myself, I was checking the windows out and noticed there was part of the center windowpane that was not even. The manager was trying to convince me it was but he ended up calling someone. The installation team came today and replaced the windowpane that was wrong and fixed it. It took them about a month to come and fix it. We can tell the quality of the window is working because it's got the three panes plus the reflective glass, and we can tell it with the reflection on the window, as the heat here in New Jersey in September is not as hot.
After they left, I said to my husband that we should have tried to haggle with them price-wise. We have a price in mind and they came around the price that we were thinking. But we didn’t even try which was our fault. And we have yet to see the bill, they were waiting until they got the final product in which is good. Other than that, the all in all experience is good and it's worth it. They were very carefree to have in your home. The guys that were working upstairs were working very hard the entire time.

We went to a home show and felt like Power Home Remodeling Group was a good company to go with. When we invited their sales representative to our house, he was on time. He got there at about 5:30 and he didn’t seem to want to leave. We were told it would be an hour to an hour and a half interaction and only at 10:15 did we able to make him leave. While we find him courteous, he kept following me and my fiancé that we never really had a chance to talk in private. He wouldn't leave and so we agreed to do the roof and we felt afterward that the price he gave us was extremely high.
We did a little investigation and found that we could get it for less. So we decided to cancel and mailed off our cancellation letter. Somebody called us back and said that a representative has to come to our house to officially cancel it. I said it wasn’t what the letter said. I told them that the letter says we can cancel it so long as we meet their deadline. They insisted to have somebody come back. So the same representative who had initially gone to our house was the one who came back. He said that cancellations are bad for the company. In the end, we still went with Power at a re-negotiated price.
The installation team showed up and put a roof on our house. They were able to customize the color of our roof the way we wanted. They did the job but there were a few problems. Noticeable was the foreman who was not around. So I spoke to him on the phone and told him about a few spots on the roof that were very raised up. The installers went back up on the roof and they tried to re-adjust some of the roof shingles but they only got them flatter. The installers packed up their stuff and left, and while the roof is still raised up right around the edges, everything seems fine right now.
Overall, I would still recommend Power. The gentlemen who installed the roof did an excellent work. They were very quick. It took them two and a half hours to take everything off and put the roof on. They were courteous too even when they didn’t speak much English. What I would not recommend is the 5-hour visit. We get up very early in the morning. And for the sales rep to stay until 10:15 was quite bothersome. We also missed our dinner. It doesn’t help when we have already sent the paper off saying that we wish to cancel and have someone tell us that cancellation would be very bad for the company. We told the sales rep that it’s our prerogative to change our mind. While we ended up re-negotiating the price, it wasn’t a very happy experience.

Power Home Remodeling Group's marketing was god-awful. I went through long talks about all the products and it was torture, but effective enough that I did business with them. However, the work was excellent and I’m very pleased with the whole process. The workers and the managers were great too. They did a great job effectively and efficiently.

I am tired of patches and I wanted to be relieved of the concern about how long these patches are going to last. The problems that were detected had to deal with the weather in Chicago. So I wanted my roof replaced and we had Power Home Remodeling Group looking to do this for some time. We knew them through Angie’s List and with them having local offices sealed it for us. Bryan came out as the result of indicating we wanted to get an idea what they could do and how they could do the roof replacement. He was so thorough in that initial visit and was consistent with the information that he shared and provided. He then transferred everything to a different individual in order that they could get right on what we were doing.
Power was actually ready to come and do the work within three days of that conversation. And for me, that was overwhelming since I have some things on deck to do for my mom. So I asked if we can do it on the following week. They switched to the subsequent week and then everything went just beautifully according to schedule. They started with a pre-project inspection because the lumber on which the roof would be placed was decayed or rotten. They need to make certain that since it was a roof replacement, there weren't any disasters that were going to occur. And they had checked on that before they even started the work. I liked that. As a retired school superintendent who is accustomed to the devils found in detail, I know that things can look good on the surface but if they aren't clear enough properly, then they don't go as you expect.
Work began and Power removed and replaced the roof. They also installed new soffit and fascia, as well as new gutters. They also did the downspout too. The different crews that came to work on different aspects, worked in compliment with one another. They arrived clean, which tells something about how they feel about their trade. It may be dirty work, but arriving clean says something about how they want to project themselves to the people with a home they are getting the work done. And they were neat, they didn't leave clutter around. I enjoyed having them here because they produced the work they promised. That was really important to me. And the whole thing took two days, which is like a dream come true because my last home project went on for more than a month and I got sick and tired of seeing work at my house.
Since they completed the work, I tell friends that they removed and replaced the roof in a day and they were astounded. I’ve been sharing this information so that they would consider them for doing their work. Overall, I just can't say enough about the way Power has delegated responsibilities within the company. They are so well-organized. The people are expert in terms of what their responsibilities are but they are also linked and connected to other individuals and their responsibilities so that everything is always working very smoothly.

Power Home Remodeling Group did an in-depth demonstration and explanation of the actual materials that would be used. Plus their price was not too far off from the estimates that we've received either so we purchased roofing from them and customized the color to black. The salesperson was very accommodating and provide really good service. However the first installation team stopped in the middle of the work and left so the project manager on the actual job had to recruit another installation team. It took take a day but they were still on target for the actual completion date and they were accommodating. For the inconvenience I was given a dinner certificate too. The work looks good and I'm very satisfied. I would recommend them.

There was a sales rep from Power Home Remodeling Group who was surveying the area and he came by and knocked on the door. He was very professional, very friendly and very easy to talk to. It just felt like a conversation and I didn't feel like I was sitting there getting lectured. I had met with other companies as well but it seemed that Power Home Remodeling Group was the most knowledgeable and the most prepared.
I got my gutters done the first time I dealt with them. About three weeks ago, I got my roof done. And then next week, I'm getting a window repaired. I was able to customize my orders. The installation team that came by was very good, very quick and efficient. The clean up was awesome too. When I had the construction crew, they kept me informed of what's going on and what the next step was. If they had any questions, Power Home was quick to help respond. The quality of the work done was very good. It was a good experience overall. My roof is really awesome. The ventilation installed at the top is super neat. It's great that Power Home Remodeling Group is utilizing new technology that's going to be most beneficial for us in the future. The company is professional and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Someone from Power Home Remodeling Group came by my door and they explained everything to me. They had a good deal and it was wonderful. I got the bay window first and it’s beautiful. Everybody loved it. Now, there’s another plan going. I got my two kitchen windows and they're going to come out and do the fifth. I also have the two in the front and they're going to do those too. So when they get another promotion, I’d probably get the rest.
I also talked to the installation team and they were very friendly. I could understand the Hispanic guys a little bit because I speak a little bit, but they also spoke English so we communicated really good. We had a good conversation about the windows and things in general. They were just beautiful people and they were all awesome. They did a beautiful job too and I had a great experience with Power Home Remodeling Group.

Our home improvement was done by Power Home Remodeling Group two weeks ago and we are not happy with the result. The salesman explained to me that everything inside must be moved because they’re going to do the inside and outside of our house but when they came in, they just did the outside. The manager and supervisor came but we can’t do anything about what they said. We’re disappointed that I wish I did not have it done. My husband said that we’re going to reject our credit card bill for the work done. It's a good thing that I didn’t give them my sisters’ address because I don’t want somebody to go through the trouble like we did.
Pinal - we are sorry to hear that your experience with Power was less than satisfactory. After looking into your project, we can see that there was a misunderstanding regarding the interior trim for your new windows. Since replacing or repainting the trim wasn't included in the original project and you were only charged for the exterior, that is the extent of the work we were contracted to perform. We understand that this may be frustrating and sincerely apologize for any miscommunication on our Remodeling Consultants part. If you would like to discuss this issue further, our Customer Service Team is available to you at (888) 736-6335, option 4 at the prompt. They can go over your project agreement with you and further explain any questions you may have.

My husband and I had talked about replacing the windows on the house, and someone knocked on the door and talked to me about Power Home Remodeling Group. He sold us the product and told us how it would work and about the good quality of everything. My husband really liked the product and he was so impressed that he decided to go for it even before he found out how much it would cost. I was apprehensive and I said they would be back but my husband knows when he sees something of good quality so I left it in his hands. We made the decision right there on the spot and we felt comfortable. We didn't feel like we were being pushed into anything.
We also had a gutter issue and the homeowners' association had also written me a letter regarding replacing the little fascia boards, which were rotten, in the front of the house. My husband is disabled and all of that was on me. I needed help and I told the Power rep if he could help me on that and he worked those out. I told people about it and they can't believe what Power did. I was so happy.
So far it's been great. They've contacted me often and kept me abreast of everything that was going on and what they were doing. I was even impressed because they called me and did everything to see if we were okay and if we needed anything so they've done a great job. Plus, they left me a little paper and I ended up calling for the warranty and they gave us a thumbs-up on that. I was happy to know that we got all our warranty on it.
Kevin came up with his crew and they did a good job on the gutters. They showed up on time, did the work and cleaned up. We were very satisfied. The color is good and it looks good too. We and our family like it. We were supposed to get the windows last week, but they're gonna do them this Sunday, into the hurricane so I thought that was good. In summary, everything is working out good and I'm happy they stopped by. I would recommend them.

I first purchased the attic insulation. I was just in the attic with the installers from Suddenlink and the temperature is the same as outside, which has never happened before. It's one of the things that the salesperson from Power Home told me. The radiant barrier that they put is definitely working a hundred percent. Next, I purchased the fascia and soffit. I had a little bit of an issue with it and I had left a message to my contact person but I haven't heard back yet.
The part of an existing fascia is rotting and Power Home had to replace some of the boards and put them back together. When they installed the aluminum fascia, they slid it up under the existing strip that goes under the shingles and turns down over the fascia. They had to un-nail the trim from the roof to replace it and put new fascia boards on before they put the aluminum. But when they nailed the trim piece back on, it seems to be on top of the shingles. When I lifted that up, it tore the shingle's first layer underneath. So therefore, when they nailed the piece of trim, when it rains the water is able to get behind the flashing and go inside and leak through the soffit.
I just wanted to talk to somebody or maybe have someone come out and look at it and give me some ideas of what can be done because it's probably going to take five years or so before I start noticing anything. I don't know if it's something the installers did or was existing that maybe someone should have caught before they covered it all up. But the installers did good work. They got interrupted by the hurricane that came through but they were back promptly the following Monday and finished up. Next Wednesday, Power Home is coming out to put gutters and I'm also planning on having my roof redone. I haven't been in contact with any contractors who are home rebuilders before that used the communication skills and the know-how that I've seen with Power Home.

Power Home Remodeling responded to our RSVP. They had a better presentation than other companies and I was impressed with their sales team member. He was great and very thorough in his pre-examination. We purchased a roof from them. It was a complete rip and replace and the installers did well. The only problem was I never saw the site manager on site when he was supposed to be there. Everything went pretty smooth though. Overall, Power Home Remodeling kept their word and I didn’t feel like I was double talked. Also, I feel great with the quality of my roof. All my neighbors are looking at it.

The frontal part of my building is a little chilly and I’m hoping that I'll get an improvement on that. A gentleman from Power Home Remodeling Group demonstrated their product and we purchased windows from them. From what I’ve seen the installation team do, I'm wondering if I'm going to get any improvement. I'm going to have to wait until the weather changes and see what happens. However, I have to call them back in because when I open the bottom sash, it goes up then down but the top sash comes down with it. So you have to fold it up and then lock it in. And that's not good. Overall, our experience was not bad at all.

She did an outstanding job with the presentation and with all of the other information that she gave me. By the end of it, I was convinced that there was no better place to go. I purchased windows and I chose the sliders and then the double hung. I also customized the size and the style.
On the day the installers were gonna show up, they called and changed their time instead of the morning to the afternoon. But they kept in contact with me and called three times. During installation, they were quiet and efficient. They did everything they needed to do and when they left, everything was cleaned up and taken away. The windows looked fantastic. I love the way it looks from the outside, especially with the capping. I'm very happy with the product and the installation and Power Home is a very good company.

We hired Power Home Remodeling Group five years ago to do the windows in my house and recently, they did the roof in the house. The warranties that they offered were unmatched by other contractors in the area. In fact, I wasn't able to get the guarantee that they offered me on the roof shingles from others in the area. I spoke with Mike and Michael, and they were great. Also, their installation team was very professional. When the job was finished, they walked me over what they did and asked if I had any concerns. The materials and the workmanship were excellent and unmatched by others. They'll do the right thing for you and you can't go wrong with them. I would hire them again.

Anthony from Power Home Remodeling Group was pretty good and gave a convincing presentation. I liked what I saw so I went with it. I bought a bay window for my living room and I ordered it with the features that I wanted. The installation team came, did their thing and left. Everything was organized so it was really good. The quality of work was nice too. One of their guys went over with me what he had done. The job started sometime in June and the process from the salesman all the way to the window installation took a month and a half. That was sort of reasonable because they've told me they have to go and build it and order it in. It was a job well done on the whole.
