Jennifer Schurman

Jennifer Schurman has over 16 years of experience educating people on financial matters through writing articles that break down otherwise difficult to understand financial concepts. After 11 years as an accounting and finance teacher, she began creating content that promotes financial literacy and empowers consumers to take control of their money. She was selected as Practical Money Skills’ Innovative Educator for June 2013, and she has contributed financial advice for WFMY News 2 in Greensboro, NC. She holds an MBA from East Carolina University and a BS in business management from North Carolina State University.
