I had an installer come to my home to install new sliding glass doors. I was stunned to learn that it was just one person taking on this task. I watched the entire process and I was super-impressed. The installer took down my existing sliding glass doors, prepped the entire area, and installed my new sliding glass doors- all alone! And, he was organized and very neat and one of the nicest individuals I’ve ever met. A truly great representative for the company he works for. After this experience, I would enthusiastically recommend ‘Power’ to anyone.

I paid power lots of money for new windows that were promised to save me money and have not. Then I had work done outside and dust is now inside my house because of a poor caulking job or just poor windows. I called to talk about the problem and the customer service lady was rude and just said I don’t know what to tell you and that was the end of the conversation. So no help there. When installing the windows they were not careful and added wood to a window that never needed it and now I am stuck trying to figure out what to do about it but of course it will cost me more money and time to fix what they have done.

I have a bigger project including windows, siding and the last to report today to install the gutters. The first set of workers arrived early and replaced 8 windows and what a difference I can already hear in that room. The second set reported over two days and completed the siding on the porch and front door. They are to come back and finish around the one window exterior and the fascia. Today I am to get the gutters installed. So far so good...

They arrived exactly on time, finished earlier than expected, and did great work, and it was nice to see how enthusiastic and happy they were with their own work after they had it done. The products that were installed also seem high quality, although they were installed recently so I can't speak to their durability yet.

My husband and I received a very detailed presentation on the services they provided which gave us the confirmation we needed to say yes to the job we wanted to get done. The day of the installation each and every contractor was professional and worked hard all day. The one thing negative thing I had to tell them was the lack of communication when the job had to be delayed due to Covid and I had to call to get an update rather than receive a call. But again always professional and willing to try to make the customer happy.

I absolutely loved every step of this process and every person I dealt with along the way. The quote was a bit long but Lauren was phenomenal and very thorough. The preinstall inspection went amazing with Zach. We had no issues with financing, we used our own finance company. I have waited an entire week since the install to review, I am overly impressed with these windows. The first day with the new windows, we noticed a significant decrease on our HVAC system. Our dogs don’t bark at the neighbor's car doors closing or the neighbor's dogs barking, they can’t hear it! Exactly one week after install, someone hit my mailbox and I was home, but I didn’t hear a thing! I am completely in love with my windows and this company. Do yourself a favor and use this company. He went over everything for windows, gutters, and siding and we ended up just doing the siding and gutters for now but we will definitely come back for the windows. Guy did a great pre-install inspection to double check everything, redo the measurements, and confirm the colors, etc... The installation ended up ahead of schedule, which was great. And the communication around the different steps, when they would be here, was strong. Dan and the crew with him for the gutter installation were awesome! They had to solve from some really tricky bits and they did a great job. And down to the inspector, Dave, everything was great. He was super thorough and detailed to make sure were satisfied and he even noticed stuff that we hadn’t seen.

An excellent doors and windows company from Denver: Although they usually have to schedule you out a few months, because they are quite busy, they are thorough and accommodating, and their product is excellent. They had to match the outside color of the vinyl windows to my HOA's specs, and get approval from my HOA, which they did seamlessly. They installed 2 high quality windows in under 3 hours. Windows open both directions, which is a plus and have great UV protection and look and work great!
I originally was going to do windows with them 2 years ago, but because of a back surgery and extended recovery and financial issues, they graciously let me cancel my contract at that point, which was a blessing. I like the fact that you can spread out the work on your house, and do just the windows you can afford: I did just 2 windows this go around in March of this year, and plan to finish doing the rest on my townhome in the near future.

They left for the day at 8:30 pm with the roof secured in case of rain. They came back first thing the next morning and completed the work. When I talked to the sale lady I insisted multiple times that I need my drip edge to be changed for my gutter project and she promised that they will replace drip edge anywhere that they put new gutter. The crew showed up and I had the same reminder and they told me the same thing as the sale lady and to be fair they did install the drip edge and told me after this installation I shouldn't have any leak.
After the first snow I realized that the corner of gutter is leaking in 2 places. Called the warranty and they sent the crew to reseal that. Next snow again I had leak and when I called the warranty again they said it's because of drip edge and since they don't usually install drip edge and it's a part of roofing they can't do anything. After I sent them pictures of the new drip edge and the terrible job that they did they said they will talk to the installation crew and get back to me but they never did. They set another appointment for about 1 month just in case they are convinced that the problem is theirs which almost passes our snow season. Long story short I paid about $8000 and I still have leak in my gutter due to a very bad job of this company.

However, an opportunity for a commitment-free quote presented itself when Power Home and Remodeling was injured neighborhood and their representative, Brody, asked me if I would be interested in a free estimate consultation. The exchange was very professional and respectful of COVID guidelines.
I scheduled a consultation and met with Leanna a couple days later and was absolutely blown away with how thorough her presentation was as well as her respectfulness for my time and space. The technology of the windows was next level from what I am used to seeing in my career as an architect, and Leanna was able to answer my millions of questions regarding coatings, warranty, and comparable prices. A door to door salesman interrupted my virtual meeting, but I have been wanting new siding, so I spoke to him hoping it would be quick. He acted like he just needed my name and phone number to set up an appointment. Then it kept getting longer and longer. Eventually, he said they wouldn’t come to do a free quote unless I talked to someone on the phone. 10 minutes later, I had the appointment. This should have taken 20 seconds... my first red flag. I have had 6 other great companies come out to give quotes. Power’s by far was the longest presentation. I had no interest in hearing about what charities the company gives to or what magazine covers their CEO has been on for 1.5 hours. I just wanted a quick quote and to sit down to dinner with my family (which I was late to do), but I wrongly chose to politely listen. At the end of it all, their quote was more than double the highest quote I had received from anyone else... total waste of time.

And to make matters more frustrating is that the job is not yet completed. We were given a date of Jan 29th, but we have been lied to many times about install or ready dates, then I can say I am NOT confident this nightmare will end by Jan. 29th. This job was supposed to be done before Thanksgiving 2020. We received our 1st delay with blame on Covid, but assured install would be on Dec. 19th.
I made a negative comment 'let the delays begin' - but hoped that would be it. We cut our vacation short to be home in time for the install & get a call THE DAY BEFORE [12/18/2020] to let us know that there was another delay. Not all our parts for project were ready and Jan, 5th 2021 would be new date. I called on Dec. 30th to follow up and was assured that Jan. 5th was install date - would take 2 days and that my bay window would be installed on 2nd day because they were missing a part. I won't even get into the fact that I was scheduled for surgery on Jan. 6th, and would have to deal with this mess when I came home from surgery. So they show up on Jan. 5th for the install & start the job [NIGHTMARE].
The job is done by 3rd party contractors for Power, so when Power made 'white glove' promise during the sales pitch - it was NON EXISTENT during install. Windows were left with gaping holes on top & sides, not sealed or finished properly - needless to say my house was freezing even though we had heat turned up high. The very next day [Jan. 6th] which was supposed to be day 2 of a 2 day install - we get a call that contractors are not showing up because truck broke down...so basically, too bad that they left such huge gaps on sides of windows and we would have to freeze yet another day - they didn't care!
OH and our bay window was not ready!!! And now will not be ready until end of January. On day 3, they send in a Power repair person with the contractors - the person offered many apologies, no resolutions, but would push for a better date on the bay window. Which was not done. After slight recovery from surgery I was able to inspect what was done, and found areas where shoddy repairs were done, so I called and left message to have representative call me. Today is Monday Jan. 11, 2021 and the company is closed. Not a holiday to my knowledge, yet I cannot reach anyone to discuss the work that was done which needs to be corrected, and also to find out about the bay window that seems to have an ever changing ready date.

Approximately a year ago I had my house sided by Power Remodeling also new gutters and downspouts. The J channel was broke in one spot and in the process of installation of siding two of my windows were broken which they did replace months later. The job is sloppy and the chalking around the new aluminum around the windows is messy and an embarrassment. The guy who came out to fix the busted windows said nothing could be done and he tried to clean it up and said they should have never used gray chalk, should have been clear. The downspouts, also another issue are larger than the drain they were placed into so they squeezed the bottom of the spout to fit in, sloppy for the money I paid to have installed.
I ask about that as well and nothing was done because they know they should have never used spouts that large! Never brought that to my attention until after the fact! They disconnected my electrical box from house during installation and just led it hanging and swinging on the side of my house which I asked them to secure in some manner.
Now my siding is has a warped looked in a few areas and they were out today to fix the sloppy J channel work and put a new piece up which is a little better but not top-notch. So I brought up the issue of the siding that looked like it’s warping and was told it is Solar Reflection and it can happen, he would look at it but did nothing, still the same condition.
Last day of siding job they were rushed for time working in the dark to get done, also a crew who didn’t speak English just for one who I could speak to and understand. He had the audacity to ask me in the dark to walk around the house and look around, I said it’s dark, I cannot see and pressured me into signing a paper that work was complete. Next morning I look around the house and what a mess I had to clean up, trash, nails and Instill have nails on parts of my roof that were never cleaned up. Pieces of metal from around windows, finishing nails and I pics of all! They stomped on flowers and took no concern in covering up as I told they were supposed to do during the work. My advice to you is to never hire this company Power to do any remodeling for you, do your research. This is a lesson learned for me!

Pros: Power Home Remodeling offers a great product. The roof crew that came out did an excellent and fast job using quality parts and is backed by a great warranty. They showed up on time, redecked and reshingled in a single day. The roofing system they installed is a much better quality than most.
Cons: It's pretty expensive. The service rep that came out for the initial assessment was friendly and informative but we did not see him through the rest of the process as he said would be the case. The "QA" inspector that came out after the job was not interested in inspecting the install, nor did he offer any sort of checklist or finalization of the install, which was promised by the other rep. I just had to believe that he could see that the install was done correctly, and the one concern I had was said to be "technically a siding job". He was only there to activate the warranty and try to sell us the next project. Also, unsavory pressure point sales tactics.
Overall: Like the title says, product and install are great. Customer interaction was disappointing. Seems to be miscommunication between field reps. Time will tell if the product holds up as well as proclaimed and the warranty for that matter.

During the 5 hour appointment with the sales rep my husband and I decided to move forward with the gutter insulation install. I was informed that the dumpster and supplies would arrive on Thursday Dec 10th that never showed up. Matter of fact the Project manager that came out to check the measurements said that they don't deliver a dumpster for this type of job. The follow-up appointment with the pre-inspection Project Manager was to ensure we understood the details of the project and reiterated the work that would be completed. During this time, he informed us our house was measured incorrectly; the difference in price was well over a grand, which was concerning, seeing I already signed the contract and was scheduled to have the gutters installed the next day.
When I stated we had an agreed amount on the contract already signed he informed me that I would need to pay for the additional costs because they forgot to add additional wood. I declined stating we already had a signed contract. The project manager went to his truck to make a phone call. Now mind you The original date was Dec 3. I had 2 days to cancel or change my mind without any penalties. I didn't cancel! The day they came back was Dec 10th 7 days later, The same day the dumpster and supplies were supposed to deliver also the day before the project was to start. When he came back to the house he informed me unless I pay the additional charges they would cancel the contract that we agreed on. I will never recommend this company, they are unprofessional and do not stand by their agreements or contracts.

They removed our old roofing and completed the installation of our new roof in one day. That evening, Quality Assurance Manager Dustin ** inspected the roof and activated our warranty. I normally don't answer the door to sales people, but I am glad I did back in August. The young man, Andrew, rang my doorbell to try to sell me a new roof. I didn't want a new roof, but I was definitely in need of new windows. After a no pressure sales pitch, I agreed to set up an appointment to get an estimate on new windows. Tristan came to my house and after 3 hours, I was more than happy and ready to commit to have 11 windows replaced in my home. Tristan took the time to explain everything to me about the windows i.e., what they're made of, the quality, the efficiency of the glass used for the windows etc.
The next step was to have pre install measurements taken of all windows. A date for installation was set up at this meeting. October 29th as scheduled, my windows were replaced. The three installers were very professional and took great care to cover everything in my home so it wouldn't get dusty or dirty during the process. In fact, I think they left my home cleaner than when they walked in. Overall, my experience with Power was amazing. I love my new windows. I highly recommend them for all your home projects.

We were looking to replace 20-year-old "builder" windows anyway when a guy canvassing the neighborhood approached me outdoors. I think it surprised him that I wanted to hear his pitch - which turned out to be a really excellent "Watch Mr. Wizard" demonstration. Some online checking showed them to be legitimate so I contracted to have 26 windows replaced for about $23,000.
They offered to finance this through Green Sky so I took that up - intending to just pay off the loan. The payments are loan given that it's financed over a 10 year period but the interest rate is 9.99%. I am paying about $100 over the required payment but that apparently is not used to reduce the principle but only to chop payments off the end of the loan. [I could be wrong.] Installation went smoothly enough but the crew did a less than stellar job of clean-up. I also loaned a battery-powered impact driver to them and never got it back. In the end, though I am happy with the new windows. The main benefit for me is a dramatic reduction in sound coming in from the neighbors.

My question to him was, "Devon paying cash why do you have to run credit?" He said it wouldn’t hurt my credit. As soon as he said it a pop-up hard credit pull came up. OK. Thought the price was fair. Signed the documents. The next day 8 AM someone called me and told me they were from the finance department and I needed to call them back. OK.
When I called them back they said that in order for the work to be done I would have to pay them today. Mind you Mike said the work wouldn’t start until late November. My question was why would I pay today for a job that wouldn’t start until late November. Thought about it a little while call them back left a message saying I will pay them half a day they start the work and half after they finish. Never heard back from them. Call me 10 to 15 times to get my business. Not one called back to keep it. Think it’s poor business practice and a little shady to give you a promise of not paying anything in the presentation then the next day say that you had to pay them before they start to work.

We loved the guy who came out to contract the work. In retrospect, if it sounds like too good to be true, it probably is. It was a two phase process. The scheduling was efficient. We were told that a crew member would be onsite in a red T-shirt. He was here off and on but spoke no English. That was a barrier when I started noticing that things were pretty sloppy with soffits not fitting properly, nails flying all over the place and fascia not laying in straight lines/edges. I asked him to fix things as I noted them but for about half, he didn’t understand or pretended to not understand.
The next days the gutter guys came. When they were wrapping up, I noticed that there was a ton of exposed wood along the roof line. Asked why that was and he explained that the roof didn’t have a drip edge/flashing. I called the company. Manager came out. Said there was nothing they could do and this wasn’t within the scale of their work. Technically true. I asked why they didn’t point this out to us and the time of consultation, he threw the sales guy under the bus, citing that he was out of practice since covid. Ok.
We asked now what - he advised a roofing company come out. Price tag? 8k dollars. If we had known there was an essential flaw in our roof, we would have budgeted different. Done that work first then the remaining gutters, etc. Now we are between a rock and a hard place - there is exposed wood and this must be taken care of except we don’t have the money for it. So ya. Thank you Power.

After a decent experience with gutter/soffit/fascia work through Power, we also decided to get our roof completed after it was still leaking in many places behind the gutters. We were assured that the crew that was coming out was very experienced, and it would be completed within 1-2 days max. The leaking we just assumed it was our bad roof, and not their shoddy work. We also specifically allotted extra decking to be added to the project, as a portion of our home is 50ish years old and had a lot of heat stress. We also stated over, and over that we were done accepting subpar work from those working for us, and were happily willing to dish out A LOT of money to make sure it was completed correctly. Again, quality was assured, and the project began.
Instead of removing the material, as asked and budgeted for, the initial roofers just took care of the water damaged only areas and left the rest. Once the nails were ran through the weak wood, it shattered and was not stable enough to be a base for the shingles. There was also complete collapse in some areas near the ridge vent (all you would see is their substitute tar paper and nails, no wood, up in the attic). I had, at one point on day 1, took my dog out to the restroom and heard the project manager explaining their product to the workers. They had absolutely no idea what it was! You can't tell me that's an experienced person or crew. Not at all.
We had also asked for a drive off dumpster to be used and removed off the property each day as we're on a dead end and cannot park our vehicles anywhere. This roll off dumpster wasn't removed after the first day as was agreed prior, and the entire driveway was completely filled with trash (ex. a whole rotisserie chicken in the Texas heat in the middle of my carport? Disgusting) and materials/debris. This left my vehicle trapped, and unable to move. The next day as they came to complete the remainder of their work (supposedly), they blew/dropped shingle material on the hood of my car, one worker swiped it around on the hood, and was also swiped up the sides and doors by one of their workers with debris they picked up near the vehicle.
Luckily this was caught on camera, or I doubt Power would have fessed up. I was never notified that anything occurred, and saw the damage on my own as we inspected their work. There were also several vents left detached and we, the customers, were made to reattach them. Again, this was not told to us; we had to inspect and find the issue on our own. One was a gas vent. Not safe at all. They had to come back a third day to wrap up. There was also damage to portions of the gutters, valley guards, drip edge, etc. We expected some damage, but were assured that it would all be taken care of. Power was so happy, "Look at how much money we saved you on the project by removing all of that wood cost!" 100% not what we wanted or agreed on.
All of the issues were brought forth to Power, and their project manager and workers agreed that what was done was negligent, but was said under confidence. I will not state names so Power doesn't retaliate against them. Around this time, the quote for the damage to my car was completed, and submitted to upper management so they could prepare the check. They agreed, and my car went in for about a week and a half worth of work. I didn't get a rental because I knew they would take it out of the worker's check, and since I'm a teacher and at home anyways, I let it go. The gaps in the wood by the ridge vents were brought up to management in the Houston location, and after a bit of back and forth, he agreed to add wood back, no cost to us.
This took another 2 days, but the workers were of a lot higher quality than before. When we looked up in the attic, there was even more damaged wood, and even more holes. There was also a leak in one of the new exhaust vents put in. My husband was able to fix the leak on his own, but again, what customer does the work for the workers?? By this point in time, my car was complete and I call management to prepare the check and submit to the body shop. He refused saying he couldn't churn out a check in less than 24 hours (he had the quote, and all of the body shop's information for over a week). He also refused to get me a rental at this point, as I needed to get back to my campus the next day for training, as well as refusing issuing the check to me personally.
He stated that this had to be after the completion of the roof. While I understand how it works due to billing, my vehicle wasn't ever contingent on the roof completion. A workaround should have been completed on his end. He more or less held my car hostage until I paid for it on my own and we got it in writing that they would pay us back. Part 3 of roof repairs. There was a hiatus in work, as I had a full weeks' worth of training online for work and couldn't deal with people banging over my head, knocking, on the door, etc. Work began again on the same area, and we had to put up the money AGAIN for the wood we wanted replaced (or, rather, had paid for, but was refunded when they didn't use it).
This took another 2 days as they wouldn't send out a full crew, just a couple of guys. Keep in mind that none of the damaged gutters, valley guards, etc. were still not corrected nearly a month later since the first bit of roofing work. Management had the gall (but later remembered and apologized) to say I was attempting to drag out the work so we could get out of paying a bit longer. He personally came out and completed most of the remaining work, and then brought in the gutter crew to complete the rest.
Oh, my husband also went up on the roof and fixed the crumpled fascia and drip guard that the guy from management couldn't fix. Now complete, instead of doing a quick walk around to confirm all work was completed correctly and then sign off on the work, he tried to shove the tablet in my hands DURING the pandemic to sign off. I'll wait until my husband comes back to confirm the work, and then we'll sign off digitally, thanks. As a whole, horrible experience and absolutely was not worth the time or stress. Next time I'll be getting work completed from a local company.
TL;DR. Work quality has absolutely has to be begged and dragged out from the company and their workers. I'm not expecting the work to hold up to their supposedly quality assurance and warranty standards, and I know I won't be calling them either unless it's to ask for them to reimburse another roofing company to complete any repairs due to their failings, if/when they occur. Power, their staff, their workers all will never set foot on our property again because they have proven that they do not respect us, or our home.

I had such a great experience with Power Home Remodeling that I'm also getting my siding done. First, the windows and door that were installed are AMAZING! Great quality and they make a difference in so many ways (noise reduction, energy saving, and aesthetics). The installation team was great! They were nice, professional, and were easy to talk to. We had four guys install 17 windows and one sliding glass door, and they were finished in less than six hours. WOW!!! EVERY person I've talked to at Power Home Remolding has been kind and professional. From the sales person to the quality control director. Nothing but a great experience from start to finish. I've already recommended them to several people. If you're looking to get new windows or siding, go with them. You will not regret it!

I was thoroughly educated on the siding at the first meeting, the appointments were kept that were set (with the exception of the quarantine hitting and disrupting the 1st appt, but I received a call to cancel in a timely fashion), once the pre-inspection was completed everything went very fast. I received instructions on what to do so the dumpster and materials being delivered wouldn't be delayed. The workers showed up as scheduled, the 4th of July weekend interrupted work, but after the holiday things were back on track.
Once completed, there was an initial 'walk around' to look for any problems. A couple of minor things were spotted and fixed within the hour. The finishing touch was putting on the wonderfully huge gutters (no more overflow in the winter to create 'The Driveway of Death'), which took less than half a day to put on. The overall experience was great and my house looks FANTASTIC! I put the neighbors to shame, some of them are out painting their houses now...

Everything was cleaned up. Quality assurance rep came soon after to inspect. I really like the windows. I had six replaced. They are thicker and more attractive than the originals. The company engages in cold calling, calling at odd hours starting at 7AM. After a few tries I decided to have them come in and provide an estimate. The conversation went something like, "We're in the neighborhood and can be over there and provide discounts as we're already in the area." The lady on the call captured the information and scheduled the appointment. Received an email with the confirmation, a few minutes later another call from the same number and now a new scheduler is on the call with the same pitch, in the neighborhood blah, blah.
When I mention that there is already a scheduled appointment, the person on the call says, "Since you're fortunate to have a job and working let's cancel this and not disturb you," and hangs up. No one shows up, when I call in there is a new scheduler who is unaware of what has transpired and tries to schedule yet another appointment. Schedules appointments, keeps track of when the customer is around, cancels appointments. The company seems to be a sham company.

After having half of my windows done by Power by a group of three who did an excellent job I decided to get the rest down a few months later. This job was done by two males who did a very sloppy job. Along with the windows I also had two doors replaced. Through this new front door that was installed I can see daylight from the inside from the floor and up about three inches. The patio door that was installed has caulk smeared everywhere on the bottom sides of the door on the outside and inside the carpet was cut and is no longer anchored down. On the two new windows the screen on one is all bent up on the top and on the other it doesn't fit in the screen opening. And for this I have to pay out the **! For what I have to pay for these doors and windows the work should have been close to perfect. If you need proof, I can provide pictures. Needless to say I am very disappointed.

Power Home came into my home to do window replacement. The paperwork stated 'possible sheetrock patching' - they said it would be an easy fix. I took their word for it. I am not a construction worker. I don't do home repairs. But after they were done, I had called 8 different people to do this fix - every single one of them said Power butchered my walls. Window guys said the insulation was terrible. They did more damage to my walls than necessary. If I could post photos here I would.
I've emailed, called, numerous times. They are refusing to make good on their terrible work. So I've gone ahead and filed a complaint with the BBB as well as utilized other resources to get this properly rectified. Next step is contacting a lawyer and the State AG. I actually had a 2nd job scheduled with them but after seeing this, I cancelled. The guy gave me such a hard time when I wanted to cancel. Their product might be great but they did a piss poor job and treated the paying customer like dirt.

PHR salesman came to the house for quoting window replacement for all windows that needed it, and at our request itemized by room/area separately. We had already ball-parked roughly $1000 per window installed, parts & labor. Salesman was extremely knowledgeable about company and products, and pricing was additionally discounted for being a BJ's Wholesale member. Then there was an additional discount for "sign today" which we took advantage of for one section/area of our house that desperately needed new windows due to non-opening status and failing seals/insulation. Total project came out to just under $1K per window with all discounts so it was a good buy. Salesman measured for initial quote.
About 3 weeks later a pre-install inspector came out to re-measure and finalize details for install scheduled 1 month later. Install was delayed due to COVID-19 shutdowns but company kept us posted on restart plans. Actual install was 2-3 months later. Installer - 1 guy, not a crew - came out promptly at the start of the appointment time (730a) and re-measured everything before touching anything. Tackled the most complex/largest window first, took him 3 hours to remove old and install new. Very meticulous with spray-foam insulation and caulking, caulking, caulking. New windows are smaller surface area than old windows due to insert style of replacement. Easy to open and close (casement/crank) and screens are very low-profile, easy to remove for cleaning.
Project manager came out to check status towards end of install (all day, almost 12 hours) and go over all details, warranty info, answer q's, etc. Installer was protective of all areas and cleaned up thoroughly, inside and out. Only problem through the entire process was that PHR phone numbers appear as "Potential Spam" on mobile phone screeners so you have to answer those calls when you know you're waiting on calls for scheduling, appointment confirmations, etc.
When they left voicemails, the reps wouldn't leave direct dial or extension numbers so you have to call the main 800 number and wait through menus to get to a person; that said, every rep was able to look up the account and check status, answer questions, give info, etc. so they are a very large company but must have a very detailed records system, with employees who actually use it to log all actions. Will wait and see if any problems develop with the product or installation. After 1 rainstorm, no leaks. Sun/heat is definitely cut down dramatically. So far so good. If all stays good, will definitely consider PHR for future work.

I initially only had 3 windows replaced because I wanted to see what kind of work they did. I was very pleased with the installers who were very nice & polite, & also the project manager who came by to check on them & give a hand. I agreed to have the remaining windows, 13, replaced based on that experience. My install date was a Saturday in October. It was cold & had rained early in the day. The installers (2) were a few minutes late, no biggie. One guy tried to talk me out of the installation saying it was going to rain again so maybe I should wait. I'd already waited several months & my weather app showed no more rain. I declined to wait, the guy trying to talk me out of it gave me attitude & the window he installed won't lock now. I only realized it when the COVID lockdown occurred, since I was working from home I took advantage of the fresh air flowing through my house.
To be fair I haven't called Power yet to have them come out & they do have a warranty. Also the project manager never showed. He only called & spoke to the rude guy. I felt like once they got me to agree to the windows there was no need for customer service. I also received a great rate & discount based on the number of windows I purchased.

A brief history before I begin. I live in a single family home, rancher style. The house is on the corner so it is very visible. My roof was about 22 years old at the time. I purchased the home when I was 20 years old and knew very little; in hindsight I should have waited to buy, but that is not the point. When I bought the home, thankfully, the mortgage was via FHA so the owner needed to fix some items before selling the house. One of those things in need of repair was the roof because it needed shingles and there was a significant sized leak coming into the master bedroom and living room. The owner did the bare legally standard minimum repairs in order to be able to sell the home. This was back in 1998 so who knows what the rules were. The house passed FHA inspection and I was able to purchase it - all 1,150 square feet of it. It's not a big home. This was to be my 'starter' home, but as they say, "life happens".
I had dealt with Power Home Remodeling over the years while living here and my initial impressions were not good. They would, and still do, quite literally 'hunt' you down in the aisles of BJ's Wholesale Club. If my information was obtained by their telemarketing team the calls would be relentless bordering on stalking. Needless to say, now that I was in desperate need of a new roof I would not be reaching out to Power Home Remodeling. I shopped around and received some estimates. I needed a complete new re-deck as well as the shingles, etc. I knew that because of my procrastination and lack of funds would make this job rather expensive since any roofing company in their right mind would need to rip the entire roof off down to the studs, lay new plywood (re-decking), etc. I was expecting the job to be anywhere between 15K - 25K based off of estimates I had received from other roofing companies. They came in at 18.9K.
It was by sheer luck and timing that a neighbor was using Power Home Remodeling, so they had representatives knocking on doors in the neighborhood to try and book free estimates for whatever home improvement product you might need. I answered the door and was immediately apprehensive, to say the least. I relayed all of my bad experiences to the representative and expressed my concerns about pricing since after all Power Home Remodeling is the largest contractor in the area where I live. He was very friendly and courteous and said that a lot of things had changed at the company over the years so I should give them a second chance. I scheduled my free estimate for the next day after 3pm.
The next day I received a call to confirm the appointment and if I still agreed then the sales reps would be there shortly. They arrived around 3:30pm. I informed the two female reps that this appointment was a ruse and that they were not going to make a sale today. Even knowing that they proceeding through their pitch very friendly and enthusiastically. They were very knowledgeable and very determined. I had to say I was impressed not only by their level of knowledge and that I got to see and touch the actual materials that would be used, but also by the incredible on-the-spot inspection of my current roof including photos and videos. The rep went right up into my attic as well as a walk-around outside. Most of the time was in spent in the attic.
I was also impressed by how patient they were. See, I had fibbed when I made the free estimate appointment because the company likes both homeowners to be present, but I knew my wife would not be home from work until about 6pm. I made the sales reps aware that I had received quotes from other companies, but I was careful not to tip my hat by telling them what their numbers were. They made many calls to their supervisor that afternoon into the evening in order to continue to drop the price by adding in this discount or that discount.
I especially liked the one discount where if I allowed them to take before-and-after photos of the job to use on their future sales pitches then I would receive a discount. I was given pictures & videos of my rotten, wet roofing plywood accompanied by a horrific crackling sound when pressure was applied; I had support beams that had "ambered" meaning that the heat in the attic was so hot for a long period of time that the sap from the wood was being pulled out of it. It is not dangerous to keep that wood, it just showed me that I did not have proper ventilation in the attic which caused my roof to rot. Which, I think, is better than having had a leak which would have rotten then wood.
My wife arrived at home and she has an incredible background in sales, so she is never swayed by anyone's pitch. She was not swayed here. It was me that initially gave in and for multiple reasons:
1 - The price was incredibly low compared to other estimates I had received.2 - They're an established company with a proven track record, so built-in to that price is a lifetime warranty that I can transfer if I decide to sell.
3 - Their materials were the best, top-of-the-line, most impressive, durable, proven, name brand and there were many choices as far as style.
4 - The speed and convenience of the job being concluded in a single day except for the dumpster arriving the day before and picked up the day after.
5 - The contractor, the foreman, the confirmation calls; all while I was working from home.
6 - The plethora of financing options as well as the competitive interest rate and term of the loan.
7 - Again, the warranty is amazing - any warranty is only useful if the company is still in business. I think Power Home Remodeling will be around for a long time.
On to the actual job. The foreman called at 6am to verify that the materials were delivered the day before along with the dumpster and that I still wished to proceed with the job. I confirmed. The crew immediately began to work at 7:30am. The foreman introduced himself, showed my the permits which I needed because I was having a full re-deck performed. They were very careful go over the property after the job was done multiple times with different magnetic devices to pick up any nails that may have been on the ground. I took pictures of them performing the job every 1/2 hour just to see the progress and ensure that everything that was sold to me was installed. Everything from new flashing, new ridge vents, ice-shield, and the durable, indestructible sheeting material that gets nailed on top of the plywood was installed. I'm sure there is more I just don't feel like pulling out the folder with the itemized list of materials installed.
The township inspector came out after the re-deck was performed and then the crew proceeded to complete the job. The roof was completed by 5pm. It looks beautiful - definitely enough to make the neighbors envious. The foreman went over everything with me after the job was done, answered all of my questions then I signed-off on it. About an hour later Power Home Remodeling sent a Quality Assurance inspector. He went into the attic, walked to property, climbed up to the roof to inspect it. He also was very friendly, answered all of my questions. He also filled out the warranty information right there on the spot and registered it. That was a nice touch.
It's been almost 3 months now and I could not be happier with the roof's function, appeal and quality. I would definitely recommend Power Home Remodeling for your roofing needs. I would recommend to not take the first price given to you and always keep pressuring them to lower the price. There is always something that can be done within reason, of course. One thing that they do is they give you 2 initial prices. 1 is the price if you decide right there during your free estimate and the other price is the one that you get if you decide to call them back within a year of the quote. Just so you are not surprised by that tactic, it is common because fear is the best motivator and sales tactic. Just keep pushing and tell them that you would decide to make the decision that day if the price was just 1K lower, etc.

The only reason I am not giving a 5 star review is due to the way their sales people seem to be trained. I personally find it very pushy, aggressive and endless. This happened with BOTH the windows and roof and same scenario with different people. The original "quick estimate" ended up being a 4+ hour meeting that seemed to not want to end until we agreed to something and a drastic discount if we signed that day. The sales people, themselves, were very nice and not at all unpleasant. I think that is the only reason I put up with it as I normally don't have the patience for or put up with pitches like this.
When the job was finished, they sent someone out to inspect and review our project. This was nice and he was very professional, but it also felt to me like another sales pitch towards the end. We were asked if we wanted to get other work done soon (we just spent a lot on the roof) and they seemed to be fishing around for other people we may know that they can contact for more work. When we finally finished up and I thought he was on his way, I had a gut feeling it wasn't over as he sat in the driveway and sure enough my doorbell rang with another pitch to sell me on the possibility of the next project. I started getting irritated at this point and decided my review could not be 5 stars.
I know this may sound like a negative review, but I don't intend it this way. I was asked to come give an honest review and here it is. I feel like the company is great, with innovative and quality products. The warranty is stellar and I know because I've used it. Just tone your sales pitch down. It's worse than used car sales people and very time consuming in this fast paced world.

The replacement windows and front entry door project was broken down into two parts. The front of the house was done first and the rear and two side windows were installed on 3/16/20. We were so very impressed with the craftsmanship and work crew that we requested the same crew for the second half of the renovations. The work crew on each day were very efficient and courteous and answered all of our questions during the installations. The company came out promptly when there was a slight touch-up was necessary. Power Home Remodeling is a wonderful company. From start to finish, every employee has been courteous, respectful, and professional. They have gone above and beyond informing us of their product, services, warranties, etc. We had our windows replaced. The crew was on time, prepared/protected every area in which they worked, removed trash, cleaned up after themselves. They sent a Power employee to double check the initial estimate and another "review manager" at the end of the job to answer any questions. And their prices are affordable. Great service and great prices!! We will definitely call them back for future jobs!!

We had 9 windows and a patio door replaced. Our house is 29 years old, but this is the 2nd time we have replaced. The first time was 10 years ago, and needless to say we did NOT use the company this time. I won't bash them here, but will rather talk about Power... As others have said, the initial meeting is NOT quick or fast, but at the same time, doing something this important, I would prefer time versus speed. Our initial Saleslady was great. She worked with us to get a price we could afford, and set the process in motion. The Project Manager showed up on time, and was also very good. Our windows were installed Monday, and at this time we couldn't be happier. We have noticed the furnace running less, and my wife's first comment upon coming home Monday night was the house "felt" warmer. Very impressed with everyone at Power. :)

Outstanding siding product and more importantly installation was absolutely superb! The quality of the siding is second to none. Our home is 35 years old and had the original aluminum siding. The new installation has made our home warmer during the winter and I am sure it will provide the same benefit in being cooler in the summer. A added benefit is that it has made the home quieter eliminating street noise due to the backing in the siding. Although not the cheapest company the quality of the product and installation make it money well spent.

Please be careful and do your research before you let anyone into your home to do anything! I did not do any research and just went with the first people's convincing sales pitch. On Wednesday, November 20th, 2019, a group of men arrived at my house after 12 noon to install new windows. Little did I know it was doing to be a long disastrous day. The men were in a hurry and began work immediately by demolishing all 10 my old windows at the same time. In the process of doing so, they damaged more than half my window ledges by leaving gouges, dents, cracks, scratches, nails sticking out, black scuff marks, and some were completely cracked down the middle. They also damaged and broke some of the brick outside my house. At the beginning of the demolishing it was a crew of 5/6 men working, then it was only 2 men left.
As they proceeded to work on the installation process I noticed 2 inch gaps all around my windows. I knew this was not right because it should not be no more than a quarter of an inch gap from window to drywall. Then to make matters worse, all that is holding the windows in place are 4 screws and a ton of foam. When I mentioned my concern to the head worker (Ed) he said that I was right, and there should not be that big of a gap all around my windows, but that there was nothing he could do because he was not the one that originally measured or ordered the windows, and he was only there to install them. It did not matter that the windows were too small and clearly an improper fit.
Since they busted out all the original windows at the beginning it was too late to stop the work. They had to proceed with the installation with the wrong size windows. The head worker (Ed) was not going to say anything to me and just hope I was ignorant enough not to notice the terrible job and not complain, but my intuition knew that it was wrong. The crew did not leave my house until almost 1 a.m.the next day. I had to provide them with them with extra light so they could finish the crappy job on top of it all. That was unacceptable.
This experience has been so upsetting to me because I trusted what the salespeople said about the "superior quality service and workmanship" of Power Home Remodeling company, but what I experienced that day was a nightmare. This whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I regret the day I ever let Power salespeople step foot in my house. What a total waste of my time I will never get back. I have pictures and a video of the type of work those men they subcontracted to come to my house. All the damages are documented. I also have cameras all around my house and a ring doorbell recording them On November 20, 2019. Furthermore, Power company did not get a permit to install the windows at my house. In the city of Killeen, Texas a permit is needed, so they broke their own contract. I should have read the reviews on Power company before I was lured in with their 4 hour sales pitch. I am disgusted with Power.
Thank you for your review! While we do our best to minimize them, we are human and make mistakes. For every permit, we handle the application process in accordance with local municipalities. An error was made during the permit application process in the beginning of the project, but we have since reached out to your town’s local municipalities and have secured the correct permits retroactively. With the permits squared away, we are ready and willing to address all concerns to your satisfaction.

The delivery of the supplies came early and they never knew until they called asking when it would be alright to drop them off. The clean up was to be expected but I set the bar low. They will tell you that they will walk through with you after the project has finished and only after your satisfied, will you sign off and pay for it. Well I never received one and never signed off. Then received a call from the finance company to pay for it. Again the product they sell is great but their customer service has left a bad taste. A salesman came to my door and we talked to me about water getting in around my back door and windows causing the wood to rot. The salesman assured me they would take care of the rotting wood when the installed new fixtures. I ordered a new back door because that is where I had the most water damage. He had won the sale solely based on his statement that Power would fix the rotting wood, my old back door was in great shape and did not need to be replace only the wood around the door. I bought the new door based on the salesman's description of replacing the rotting wood around the door.
When the installation team came they installed the new door into the rotting frame only replacing a small portion of trim. I asked the crew just before they started fitting in the new door if they were going to replace the rot around the door frame, and they stated they had not been briefed on the rot and did not have the materials to replace it. The door was installed with the rotten wood still in place only replacing a small section of trim. The builder did assist in notifying Power of my complaint and a quality assurance agent came out to see the completed work and hear my complaint.
He stated that he would update my complaint and that they would try to find a solution. While the quality assurance agent was at my house he again tried to sell me on the wood around my windows. One week later I called Power's customer service line and was told they could not solve my issue or give a discount my only recourse is the warranty. I was told that Power does not do any framing or wood work as the salesman had suggested. I am very upset that Power refuses to perform the work as sold to me or even offer any discounts or refunds.

The 2nd gentleman that came by to check how much material will be needed had told my wife that there was no leak in the roof. As far as my gutters I didn’t like that none of the end pieces on the downspouts were secured to the elbows. One had a end piece that was too short, luckily it didn’t rain or all that water would have seeped into my basement. I got in contact with the Foreman and he told me that I would be charged for a longer end piece or I should just get plastic extension from a hardware store. The cable tv cable outside my house from the “pole” is just hanging and no one bothered to carefully take it down, it was yanked and once everyone finished no one bothered to fix it.

From an initial delay due to window factory problems, window installation problems because what they promised us differed from the instructions that were ordered, and our entry door being ordered incorrectly two different ways causing the longest delay. Thankfully the installation workers were witness to it all and were very nice to work with.
Unfortunately due to all the delays our Promotional Period with the financing company expired. Our mistake not getting energy readings on the windows before to compare with after, but we will have no way of knowing if the window and door products were constructed as they advertised until we see actual energy bills to compare. Hard to know being the project was supposed to be completed in the summer, was partially completed in the fall, and finalized in the winter. We can not recommend working with this company.

After less than 2 years my exterior doors I can see light on side and underneath as well as the weather stripping that is on underside of door has already torn off. I have a couple way less expensive doors from local hardware store that the weather strip on the bottom of the door lasted way longer for about 1/5th the cost of Power door.
I finally got around to calling and they schedule me three different times throwing me into the new year. Scheduled time is now between 9-11 today, January 2nd, 2020. At 7am I am woken up by a call that I missed, went to vm and I read transcribed vm about an order status Dec 1st and if I still need help with this to call them. I call the actual number that called me (local) and oh yeah they will be out between 8 and noon, at 10:44 text message saying between 12 and 2. We’ve been very pleased with our experience with window replacements done by Power Home Remodeling. A month ago, we met with a Power salesman who inventoried the windows in our house and gave us an estimate of the cost of replacing all the windows. The cost was considerably more than we were prepared to spend, especially since our existing windows (wood frames, 18-year-old house) seemed to be mostly adequate for now.
Initially, we made it very clear that we were not prepared to purchase any sort of replacement windows and were interested only in getting a cost estimate for future planning purposes. As the presentation wore on (and on and on – total of more than 4 hours, though this also included questions on our part and reading and signing documents), we became impressed with the quality of the Power window (durable vinyl frame, no painting, easier to open and clean, better energy efficiency, etc.) and the pricing options that were available if we made a purchase that day. We normally steer clear of such pricing deals, but this one included a lock-in of favorable pricing for at least 5 years. Since we were planning to replace a number of windows in that time frame anyway, that proved to be an important feature of their terms. We signed on for the minimum number of windows they would sell us (4 large double-hung windows for the ground floor front).
Within a day or two, Power sent a pre-installation inspector to confirm the salesman’s window measurements and explain the installation process, then scheduled an installation date. The installation was done one week after we signed the agreement. The installers were on time and very efficient in removing the old windows and installing the new ones. The installers did a good job with sealing the windows, and they left the house clean and tidy.
During the process, we noticed that there were some scuff marks on the frames of two of the full-window screens (fairly minor and only visible close up). Power insisted on replacing the screens despite these small defects, and that is scheduled to happen soon. With that small exception, the windows were in perfect shape. A quality control inspector came three days later to verify that the work met their standards.
Power did an excellent job of communicating the status of our project and confirming appointments. We’ve seen a number of pretty bad complaints about them on the Better Business Bureau website and just as many strongly positive ones on the Consumer Affairs site. All we can add is that our experience has been nothing but good and we would recommend them highly to anyone considering window replacement. Keep in mind that you don’t have to make the huge investment of replacing all your windows; Power is happy to do as few as 4 windows without obligating you to do anything else at a later time. We’ve already decided to replace the other 5 windows on the front of our house. When we’re ready to do more, we plan to call Power.

They took my information and from that point on everything from calling me to installing the roof was just perfect. From the sales person to the workers; all were very professional and friendly. The sales representative went into the attic and explained his findings down to the smallest detail and showed me the material that was going to be used.
The following day, the inspector came, we went over everything I was getting and gave me a date for the installation, he also went into the attic. The materials and the dumpster were dropped off within the time frame given to me. The same goes for the workers, they were right on time. The cleanup was unbelievable, they took their time, they even wiped down the railings. I had no problem with the price and had no problem saying yes to their discount on the spot! I had to take off work, and I expected to see them on time like I had experienced with them coming to quote everything. It had reached 1:56 and got a phone call saying they had to reschedule. A previous job had ran over. I wasn’t pleased at all because I couldn’t talk to anyone because the office closed at 2pm on Saturdays and they basically told me I had to wait 'til Monday to reschedule.
Around 3 I received a phone call from the project manager Steve saying that they should be there around 3:30 and that they wouldn’t have to reschedule if I didn’t mind waiting until then since I took off work. I responded no problem. They show up and started the demo right away and the project manager was there also. Everything was going smoothly. Window was out by 4:30. New window was ready to go in or so I thought. They all of sudden stopped because they didn’t have the right materials to do the job. So one of the guys put a plastic sheet over the window while the other went to Home Depot to get more supplies.
The project manager told me that it should be about another hour or two until everything is complete, he also informed me that my shutters wouldn’t be in until Monday and they would install them then. He then tells me he is about to leave and that the guy should be back shortly to finish up, and that I had his number if he needed me. Well he came back with more materials and then told me 15 mins later that he needed more materials and that the window would not be complete that evening. I gave steve a call letting him know this is completely unprofessional to open a window in 40 degree weather and not finish. It was already going on a couple of hours and the house was freezing, with my son and pregnant wife.
He then informs me he’s going to run back to Home Depot and get more materials to do a temporary fix and complete the rest of the job the next day. Around 8 at night the window was finally in even though it wasn’t completed, which relieved me somewhat to know I could finally cut the heat back on because the thermostat was reading 50. Also I can finally leave and get something to eat since it was basically and waiting process all day. The next day they came and completed the window and steve came over to apologize. I told him it’s done I’m just glad the window is in but he also informed me something will be knocked off the bill and that he would send me a updated email to sign off.
I still haven’t received a email, I expected a so much better experience with this company and since I recently became a new homeowner was going to consider them doing the remaining windows in the basement and the roof. I had even referred them to a couple of co-workers since I work for Metro and a lot of us need work done to our homes. The end result the front window looks great and shutters finally came yesterday and was installed yesterday as promised. However no one should have to experience a process like this due to lack of materials and scheduling issues.

This is the first roof I have bought. So I can’t speak for the other contractors out there, but these guys are pretty amazing. They explain everything. Schedule the job around my schedule. Had it done in one day. Left not a trace of them being there. And stayed in contact throughout the process. It was a thoroughly stress free and refreshing experience to not have to worry about anything. They did everything they said they would from start to finish. And didn’t ask for a dime until the job was completed. I was repairing the old roof after every major storm because of its poor installation by a local contractor. So even though Power Home may be a little pricey, it’s well worth it given their lifetime warranty.

Wonderful experience from the meeting with sales to saying goodbye to the installer. Can't say enough about them. This company is highly recommended. All questions answered and all along it was explained what was going on. And they clean up as the go-no mess left over. Will use this company again.

I received a quote to replace my roof by an employee who was previously a "roofer worker" and now doing sales. Meet in BJ in Wappingers Falls, NY store. Upfront I advised him that this was a one income family and didn't want to be "sold" or "hustle" into purchasing a new roof. He assured me that this was a family owned business that prides themselves with integrity and so forth. Our roof came out to 16k! We didn't want to pay that much but we were told that our roof wouldn't last through this winter so we decided to do the roof but we didn't want to hear any added cost to the already pricey roof.
Sure enough when two inspectors came, they advised me that NYS code requires the wood planks to be 1/2 inch, she proceeded to advise me that it would cost me an additional 4,6k. Add the interest rate this roof would've cost us about 30k!! I said no, the Power employee(s) conferred with an manager who said they would take the 4,6k if we gave them a "good review". Now I know why they have so many "good reviews" on-line. Buyer beware. You will be hustled by Power!
Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with Power. We apologize for any inconvenience or undue frustrations, as this is far below the standards of service and behavior we set for ourselves. We would like to look into the details as to why this occurred. We’d appreciate it if you could email digital@powerhrg.com with your contact phone number or home address, so we can identify your profile in our system, learn more about your experience and address your concerns appropriately.

I am excited to share my very positive experience with the purchase and installation of bedroom windows. The first night we had a terrible windstorm. The windows were solid. The rooms were warm. I was impressed. The entire process from first meeting and sales opportunity through financing and installation and final Quality Assurance inspection my needs as the customer was always first priority. There were clear communication throughout the entire process. Schedules were based on my time schedule and kept by Power.
Extensive care was given for clarity around warranty and warranty services to ensure product satisfaction and proper maintenance. I am very satisfied with the entire experience and process. My windows are beautiful and I have no doubt added to the value of my home. I highly recommend Power HRG! Their focus on customer service and in doing the job right and in accordance with current building codes makes them a 5 star company.

The job started off with a delay, but once the crew arrived (shortly after a conversation) they completed the job within a short amount of time. The crew were professional and engaged in the assigned task. The end product is exceptional as our children immediately noticed and complimented the work. Very pleased with the product and the installation.
