National Floors Direct was great from the start. After choosing the right floor type and style to match my family and dog we set a date. The installers were friendly, efficient and thorough. The floors looked great and were seamless! With a few maintenance tips they were on their way.

The person that came to our house was professional, patient and helpful. He took his time and got us the best price. We scheduled the installation for 2 days later. I would highly recommend using this establishment! Frank **, the representative who came by for the consultation was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and didn’t pressure us on what kind of carpet to get at all, which was refreshing. He gave us all the options and made sure we were able to do a quick install, which was done about 3 days later. The workers were efficient, quick, quiet, and cleaned up after themselves. They also had us check their work before they left to ensure our happiness.

From the very beginning I felt like my time as a potential customer was valued. It showed when the salesmen arrived at my house on time and took careful measurements of every room in the house. Given that my first floor has weird angles, he went above and beyond by redoing his measurements multiple times to ensure that the contractors that would install the flooring would have enough material to get the job done in one day, and sure enough, they did.

We had two projects completed by National Floors Direct, each including removing old flooring before installing new luxury vinyl in the kitchen, dining room, living room and hallway, as well as carpet in three bedrooms. Our Sales Rep was very knowledgeable and presented us with multiple options and many samples to choose what was best for our needs. There was no high pressure at all. He provided immediate quotes. We scheduled a day for each project. NFD provided great instruction and arrival times for each project. Each installation crew arrived on time, got right to work and completed the job very timely and efficiently. Installers were very professional and courteous and did a beautiful job. We are very pleased with the entire experience, the quality of the flooring and last but not least, the cost was very reasonable.

The installation of the new carpet was done professionally and the crew was courteous and cleaned up job site once completed. They did an outstanding job on the stairs. They helped move the heavy furniture that I was not able to move.

My salesman Anthony was very professional and knowledgeable. The installers were on time, fast, and did a great job. Very Quick! They cleaned up after the install and you would never know they were there. Fully satisfied and would use again. Will be calling again for my next project.

The people running this company should be ashamed of themselves. NO RECOURSE if there are problems! Many other flooring companies willing to do business with you. Read the contract and no matter what don't sign until you have read and understand. Even the company tells you that. They don't accept credit cards and personal checks for COD. THAT'S A BIG RED FLAG! and they must be paid in advance of install so beware. This is the only company I have dealt with demands guaranteed payment before the job is complete.

The overall process was easy and efficient. Pierre came out as promised for our measurement and assessment. He was very personable and a pleasure to work with, he was able to provide the flirting we were looking for and honored the pricing that was expected. I called National Floors Direct for vinyl plank flooring, which I needed installed as soon as possible. Within 48 hours I had a completely renovated living room, dining room and kitchen! The salesperson, Brian, listened to our needs, and made sure the installation could happen in our time frame. The installers showed up on time, we’re courteous, and removed all the old carpeting and installed the new floors within hours. They cleaned up after the installation, when they left the house looked great, they even moved the furniture back in place. I highly recommend National Floors Direct. Once the Sales rep leaves your home with a signed contract you will Never hear from again. They won’t give you their #, but an email that they will Not respond to. The Managers & Corporate won’t even respond to you. Customer Service hangs up on you. Carpet padding, I paid for upgrade, still junk that fell apart when you touch it. The installers Broke my bed & didn’t tell me, I noticed days after they left. I wish I didn’t give them $100 tip & pizza, they didn’t even appreciate it. Also, they were in a rush to leave & I had to keep showing them the one spot it wasn’t correct, so he drilled it into the floor!!! It’s still not correct!

Great service from phone service rep to salesman quote who came immediately out next day to install that was completed within 5 days. Start to finish in a week! Updated on 05/22/2022: After I left a few reviews, I was contacted by the NFD. They have agreed to refund my deposit back, but asked me to sign their legal document, notarize it, email a copy, and send the original back to them. I cannot believe their request! They cashed my deposit the day after the salesman came to our house, and they are asking me to go through all the above steps for them to process my refund. Even after I go through all that, it could take up to 90 days until I get my money back! I have read other cases where some customers received their refund, but it took them almost three months. NFD must refund my deposit! It is not right, and it is not fair for them to request all that when they cashed my deposit the day after!

UPDATED 5/05/2022: What a horrible company with terrible customer service! I spoke with people named Kim and Alexia. They both were very rude and treated me, their customer, so badly. Alexia would not stop talking and when I tried to talk, she interrupted me so many times. She raised her voice to the point she almost yelled and screamed on the other line. Yesterday and today, I went through so much emotional turmoil and stress with this company. Both Kim and Alexia stressed me out so much and they didn't even try to listen. On 4/27/22, a salesperson, Mike came over to my house. After the measurement, he gave me the estimated cost. Of course, it was way too high. I said, I am not going to do the floor with that price. He said, "Wait, wait, wait. Watch what I can do for you" and he called "Regional Manager" three different times to bring down the price.

I worked with David and his team, starting with an in-home consultation. It was easy to schedule the first visit and David was very communicative on the day. I selected a great carpet that the team was able to install within one week. The installation team were lovely! They were on time, friendly, and very efficient. They completed the installation in a little over an hour and then did a thorough clean-up before leaving. The price point was excellent! I needed a new floor in my basement. The basement is my gym/office. They came at the time that was scheduled and we got the measurements and estimates fast. They could have installed the floors the next day but we needed custom trims. We were able to schedule that pretty soon and on the day of the install everything went smoothly and on time. Was initially uncertain who to go with but the simple fact they do next day install was a no brainer...Understanding the crunch I was already in. It's been exactly two weeks since we got new floors installed by National Floors Direct. We chose Mohawk Flooring/Coffee House Tan. From the moment they were installed I haven't been able to take my eyes off of them. They are perfect! The color, texture, finish and workmanship are such a delight to see. We've been taking photos of them and sharing with family on our Whatsapp groups, much to their delight and praise as well. The whole experience starting from the time Harry came home for a free in-home estimate to the time the workers finished the job and left - excellent! Harry started by saying he hoped to win our business that day.

The team came in early and they were very professional, show team where the carpet needed to be replaced. They removed the old one quickly and took their time adding the new carpet into my kids' rooms. The kids were shocked with the colors.

The sales rep was kind and easygoing. She was not pushy at all. Then when agreeing to the cheapest quote we got in the area, we accepted with a 10 year warranty! The installers were efficient and cleaned up after themselves. It was a one day job and looks great! They even gave 25$ gift card for my honest opinion.

A week later or so two men showed up, asked for the balance of payment and the work began. They were friendly and expeditious, completing the work in under a day. We were under a dire time constraint to have the guest room carpeted. We met with a salesman from National Direct on a Thursday afternoon. By the following Wednesday it was installed. The selection of carpets, padding and turn around time was superior than any other quotes we received from big box stores and carpet stores. Looking forward to utilizing them in future remodels. National Floors Direct came and removed the carpeting and debris from the bedroom. They prep the room and showed us the wood floor we had originally picked out. Everything looked fine. The service was above and beyond. We are pleased of the outcome.

I was particularly impressed with NFD's speed. I filled out a form on a Saturday night, got a call back the next morning, and had someone give me an in-home estimate with carpet samples the following day! By Wednesday of that week the stairs I'd personally been putting off carpeting for so long were done! Got a quote from National Floors and in 2 weeks time, they came and installed it. It looks really good compared with what we had before (carpet). Certainly it gives our condo a modern look and we're pretty satisfied. It took a whole day to put it in the kitchen/hallway/guest bathroom and living room (~500 sq feet). I did receive an small incentive to take the time and post my honest review here but the whole experience was pleasant so definitely worth it.

We decided to install the new floor in our house. Jason **, the representative from National Floors Direct, came to our house on March 19, 2022 to provide us quotes. We explained him that we want to install vinyl floors on our first floor and hardwood on the second floor. During the estimations, we pointed to the spot in the bedroom under the carpet where the plywood level was higher. We asked Jason whether they can also fix it during installation. He told us that on such surface we cannot install hardwood, because the surface should be perfectly leveled. Then he told us that their installers will fix it during installation before installing the hardwood floors.

It was so easy to shop from home. The installers arrived on time and were very courteous and helpful. The basement rug looks amazing. They even helped move some small pieces of furniture. And there was no clean up! I highly recommend this company.

The customer representative who came out came out same day and was very knowledgeable. She assisted me in picking out exactly what I was looking for and in getting me the best deal possible. Scheduling had a few hiccups. I thought when they offered next day install at the time of purchase (but I was not ready and needed a week before scheduling) that they would only need a few days notice. When I called I was giving them up to 7 days notice, but they said it would be at least 2 weeks.

This was the 3rd time we used National Floors Direct. The salesman was great to work with and got right to the point with me when he knew I planned to buy from them. First of all, the company pays you $25 for every good review you post, so please discount them all. Second of all, they make you pay cash or check for a reason. Harder to charge back when they scam you. Red flag, don't be so desperate for a deal like we were! We had a warranty claim that they strung us along for through a whole year (I let it go that long because of COVID) and once it hit one year they said my floor was out of warranty, they would not help me, then hung up. I had a very positive experience with National Floors Direct and the carpet that was installed in the first floor of my home. I've used other flooring installation companies and there are always problems. This time with NFD, I had respectful, non-scary installers who should up to my house on-time, brought a vacuum to clean up throughout the process and at the end, and the furniture in each room was moved without any damage. I would use them again and have recommended them to other family and friends.

The carpet in our bedroom over the garage was installed by a “big box” home retailer approximately 18 years ago. Not long after the installation, “bubbles” formed, and the carpet began to “wrinkle”. We lived with this inferior installation until we recently decided to renovate the room. We solicited 3 quotes for carpet and decided to use National Floors Direct. NFD installed prefinished hardwood in our living room so we were familiar with their service and value. Further, as a repeat customer, we were afforded a discount and overall superior offer.

When we decided to install a new vinyl floor due to a flood several months previous, we were told by our salesperson, John "Jake" ** (very nice gentleman), that it is very customary to install a new vinyl floor over an old vinyl floor and it would be $3200 (an additional $1200 would have been incurred to rip the old floor up so I opted out). However, when the installers arrived, they said that it would not be in our best interest to do so as the floor was too soft and the new floor would be faulty in six months! I decided to go ahead and rip the old floor up (for $500 from NFD not 1200 as previously stated from salesperson). During the rip up of the floor, none of the furniture was covered, apparently the workers (also very nice gentleman) were not made aware by NFD that they needed to cover the furniture. When they ripped the floor up, the sub-floor started to come up with it!

Interested in replacing a floor in my 5x5 bathroom. After having a horrible, 2 week experience with Home Depot, I finally came onto Consumer Affairs for help. After reading reviews on a few floor companies and after chatting with Consumer Affairs rep online, I was quickly able to get an appointment with National Floors Direct.

Using National Floors Direct was a great experience. The estimate process was easy and samples were brought right to me. Pricing was great. Installation guys were great. They moved furniture and put it back correctly. They ripped up old stuff and replaced with new carpet. They were fast and The clean up was great. No mess! Highly recommend them!

National Floors Direct Buyer Beware. Beware of the salesman, installers, and company policies!! I was lied to every step of the way! Salesman looked at the room and said all will be removed at the price quoted. NOT TRUE. Installer charged to remove bed and mirrored bureau, first lie, gave delivery date not true, install damaged walls and said that they are not responsible for any damage. Installer said he would be right back and gave his number as he was going to have his company do the repairs. Again another lie, he just left never to come back, left his card with number not sure it is even real!! Install was terrible as the doorways are not finished and was told they do not do that and would have to hire a company to complete the install.

I had another great experience with National Floors Direct. Matt, the salesman is a great, professional, personable guy that cares more about the customer than the deal itself. He strives to work hard to help the customer get what they want. The install time was only a 2-3 week wait which isn’t bad at all. The installers were professional and considerate of our house which I respected very much. They were clean, worked quickly and conscious of our space. Great job overall and would hire again!

I really like the carpet that was installed. The design we now have is better than any carpet I have seen before. I also appreciate the great job the installer did, he asked what color metal should he use. I really like when I’m given options. After nearly 6 years of carpeting our living room and dining room, we found we were unhappy with carpet! It was my intention to research and solicit 3 or 4 quotes in addition to the box store options. National Floor Direct salesman Brian ** came to our home, education us and discussed our budget options. I had a fairly firm $ amount I was willing to spend to have the floor installed. IF I couldn't get it done for that price, I would install myself. Brian was able to meet me close enough to my budget by offering, after other discounts, an additional %15 provided I did not look any further. My wife and I felt it was a great product and we accepted his offer. Installation was a week later, the installers were clean, neat, professional and courteous. Removal of carpet and installation of the new floor was seamless. We are thrilled with the new look and pleased with our decision!

I need to take the time to provide this compliment for National Floors Direct. My wife and I just had National Floors Direct install new flooring on our second floor of our home. From beginning to end it was a definite positive experience. Mike the salesman showed up at our home and provided us sufficient information regarding all the different types of flooring and what our options are and how much the cost would be. I am absolutely so happy with our new floors. We chose the Barnboard tattered and they did not disappoint. The process couldn't have been easier from start to finish. We had 4 quotes and they were destined to be the best. Quote (as promised) was 15% below the others. The man that came to our house was knowledgeable and aimed to please. He made me feel confident in the quality and guaranteed that we'd be getting the best! The consultation took 45 minutes, then two days later the contractors were at our house to install. They were amazing. They worked so hard and were complete in 6-7 hours (start to finish). WE are very happy!! I would totally recommend NFD to all of my friends and family.

I was sold whole house carpet installation and furniture moved included. On the day of installation I was extorted for an additional $400 because I had furniture in my house. Would not give a refund nor install without paying extra.

After seeing the commercial on tv, I decided to call National Floors Direct for an estimate on three new floors in my home. I did receive a call that one of the carpets was out of stock but they found another brand that was the exact same color and gave it to me for the same price. There was a delay with the installers' arrival but once they were there, they were quick, clean and so efficient. Go with National Floors Direct! We got a quote that was outrageous compared to the NFD quote. Our sales person was helpful, kind, patient, and found an amazing deal for us. The company sent explicit directions on how to prepare the space, along with confirmation of delivery day and time. They communicated with us that due to shipment delays, the installation date had to be rescheduled, but it was only a week later so not a big deal at all. The installer was such a hard worker that he was at my home until 9pm on a Friday night! NFD said the installer would arrive between 12-4pm and even after making a mistake they fixed it right away and sent the installer to my house at 530 pm on a Friday night. Who knew they worked so late? The carpets look and feel great! The installer vacuumed after installation and cleaned up after himself.

I needed 2 rooms of carpet replaced quickly for special company arriving on December 13, 2021. I had in-home sales (arrived at 3:00 PM 12/07/2021) and was told by the National Floors Direct (hereafter "NFD") representative that; 1) my carpet selection was definitely in stock, and 2) it could be guaranteed installed on 12/10/2021 (not even next day service), Only if I waived (in writing) the right to the 3 day cancellation period. The NFD representative was on the phone with his company, and he confirmed delivery and installation would be done on Friday, 12/10/2021, which was definitely set and scheduled for sometime between 9AM-5PM that day.

I was very pleased with National Floors Direct. They came, when scheduled. They wore masks. They removed the furniture carefully and moved it back when finished. They did a nice job installing the underlayment and the new carpeting after removing the old one. Then they vacuumed and removed all garbage. Great experience all around! From the time I had a salesman at my home to the installation day, everything went smoothly. The price was fair and I feel I got a great value for the money that I spent. There was some minimal wall damage at installation, but nothing that a bit of paint can't fix. The only thing I would change is the window for installation. It wasn't necessary to be ready at 7 am when they didn't arrive until after 10. It would've been nice to be able to sleep in. Otherwise, it was perfect! Highly recommend!
