I am absolutely so happy with our new floors. We chose the Barnboard tattered and they did not disappoint. The process couldn't have been easier from start to finish. We had 4 quotes and they were destined to be the best. Quote (as promised) was 15% below the others. The man that came to our house was knowledgeable and aimed to please. He made me feel confident in the quality and guaranteed that we'd be getting the best! The consultation took 45 minutes, then two days later the contractors were at our house to install. They were amazing. They worked so hard and were complete in 6-7 hours (start to finish). WE are very happy!! I would totally recommend NFD to all of my friends and family.

I was sold whole house carpet installation and furniture moved included. On the day of installation I was extorted for an additional $400 because I had furniture in my house. Would not give a refund nor install without paying extra.

After seeing the commercial on tv, I decided to call National Floors Direct for an estimate on three new floors in my home. Patrick came out to the house promptly, with samples in hand and gave me a great estimate. The floor was scheduled to be installed two days later. I did receive a call that one of the carpets was out of stock but they found another brand that was the exact same color and gave it to me for the same price. There was a delay with the installers' arrival but once they were there, they were quick, clean and so efficient. I am satisfied with the installation done in my home, my daughter’s room turned out great. From the rep that sold me on going with National flooring, to the installers who accommodated for scheduling issues, they stuck around and waited to install my floors. Everyone was very personable and did an outstanding job!

We cannot thank National Floors Direct for the amazing work they did replacing our floors in both our bathroom and entryway. The salesman that came to our house walked us through all our flooring options, answering all questions. He was also able to beat the pricing of all other quotes we had received. On installation day they arrived right at the start of the arrival window and were able to complete the project in a matter of hours. The installers arrived on time & started working right away. They also showed me a sample to make sure I was getting the correct flooring. I had 2 bedrooms and a 20 foot long hallway done with a light grey vinyl interlocking wood grain. This work was done after a flood in my basement. It looks beautiful you would never know anything ever happened down there. I am very satisfied with National Floors Direct & would highly recommend them.

Go with National Floors Direct! We got a quote that was outrageous compared to the NFD quote. Our sales person was helpful, kind, patient, and found an amazing deal for us. The company sent explicit directions on how to prepare the space, along with confirmation of delivery day and time. They communicated with us that due to shipment delays, the installation date had to be rescheduled, but it was only a week later so not a big deal at all. The workers did a wonderful job installing, were respectful of the space, and cleaned up after themselves! We are so happy with our new floor!

An all around positive experience. The salesman was nice, knowledgeable and not at all high-pressure. He worked with the budget I had. To carpet (glue-down) 2 large size and 2 smaller rooms took about 3 hours. They vacuumed after they were done and did not leave any waste carpet scraps. This was my first time using National Floors. We installed laminate floors in our basement playroom. The installation process was smooth and went well. The contractor arrived on time, was polite (I especially appreciated how he wore a mask) and overall did a good job. The floors are great. The sales part of the process was less enjoyable and time consuming.

National Floors Direct did an excellent job with our new home! We bought a house from 1996 that had original carpet throughout the upstairs in need of replacing. Patrick was our local salesperson and scheduled a meeting with us within a couple of days of our initial inquiry. He was honest about quality levels as well as cost vs value for several product lines. Two days after Christmas a whole crew showed up on time and expertly installed hardwood floors throughout our house. They told us to expect the project to take at most 2 days and it was complete in less than one but done with expert precision. The installer was such a hard worker that he was at my home until 9pm on a Friday night! NFD said the installer would arrive between 12-4pm and even after making a mistake they fixed it right away and sent the installer to my house at 530 pm on a Friday night. Who knew they worked so late? The carpets look and feel great! The installer vacuumed after installation and cleaned up after himself.

I needed 2 rooms of carpet replaced quickly for special company arriving on December 13, 2021. I had in-home sales (arrived at 3:00 PM 12/07/2021) and was told by the National Floors Direct (hereafter "NFD") representative that; 1) my carpet selection was definitely in stock, and 2) it could be guaranteed installed on 12/10/2021 (not even next day service), Only if I waived (in writing) the right to the 3 day cancellation period. The NFD representative was on the phone with his company, and he confirmed delivery and installation would be done on Friday, 12/10/2021, which was definitely set and scheduled for sometime between 9AM-5PM that day.

My experience with National Floors Direct was a very pleasurable experience to say the least. The sales representative showed up on time, and he was very courteous. He was very professional in that he explained the different types of carpets plus he was not overzealous about pressuring me to buy the most expensive rug. Actually, he had a sample of each type of carpet that I could physically examine, and this was very helpful in making my decision. At the end of his presentation, I gave him a deposit, and he asked me when I would like the carpet installed. I told him, and he said the company would give me a call, and inform me when the installers would be there. This all happened exactly as he said.

I was very pleased with National Floors Direct. They came, when scheduled. They wore masks. They removed the furniture carefully and moved it back when finished. They did a nice job installing the underlayment and the new carpeting after removing the old one. Then they vacuumed and removed all garbage. All I had to do was moving my drawers back to the dressers and vacuum up some debris that had entered the closets under the doors. Excellent job!.

Great experience all around! From the time I had a salesman at my home to the installation day, everything went smoothly. The price was fair and I feel I got a great value for the money that I spent. There was some minimal wall damage at installation, but nothing that a bit of paint can't fix. The only thing I would change is the window for installation. It wasn't necessary to be ready at 7 am when they didn't arrive until after 10. It would've been nice to be able to sleep in. Otherwise, it was perfect! Highly recommend!

The installer contacted me early in the morning to inform me of his arrival time. He was prompt and courteous. The removal of the old carpet was performed very quickly and in a neat manner. The installation was done in a very professional manner. He installed, cleaned up and removed all of the old carpeting and remnants in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I had trouble getting a locally based company to come out, even had a few no-shows. National Floors Direct gave me responses immediately, and a rep came out in two days time! What a great experience. Neil, our representative, was very knowledgeable and took the time to show us all the samples and help us pick out what would be best for our rooms. When the installers (for rug and laminate floor) came they were on time, professional and quick! They did my whole basement (almost 1000 sq feet) and my den with laminate flooring. I know this is a long review, but I want everyone to know what you could potentially be dealing with. I got an in home estimate and agreed on a carpet installation. We live in a 3 floor house with 2 kids and 2 dogs and the area we were getting carpeted was our middle floor, or what we call the family area. We were carpeting a Family room, a Bedroom and 2 sets of stairs. I gave a 1,500.00 deposit on a 4,500.00 job.

PSA/Consumer alert! For those in the market for new flooring, buyer beware of National Floors Direct! Their installers are not company employees, they are contractors secured with little to no quality standards. They sell you on the fact that their installers are manufacturer certified, the best of the best, etc. but it is all a total joke! You have zero ability to pick your contractors and then you literally get stuck with whatever installers they hired for your job..

I ordered carpets based off the fact that they had them in stock and would be installed/delivered before I moved into my new home. I selected colors that weren't ideal but because I was guaranteed they were in stock and available. I took the entire day off from work for the scheduled date, hired movers to come the day after carpet install and paid painters extra to finish up before carpet install. I was called the day before install and was informed carpets were not on hand and rescheduled for 9/29. I was also informed I would have to pay extra to move furniture since I would have moved in by that date. I asked for a full cancelation and refund. That was denied. They failed to deliver as promised, basically lied about product availability, and asked me to pay more for moving furniture. I lost a day from work and have to take another day off. No resolve, no apologies, and no integrity.

Our salesman assured us this company is not like others because they have their own warehouse of materials so there are no unnecessary delays in installation. We gave 1/3 deposit and signed away our right to cancel the contract based on "emergency" installment after Hurricane Ida. ONE DAY before installation was to occur we got a call saying our flooring fell off the truck and was damaged and it will be another MONTH before it can be installed. After checking their BBB reviews we see this happens all the time. This company is a complete scam. They are saying we cannot get a refund or discount and our only option is to choose another floor or wait a month. After reading all the reviews I cannot believe they have not been shut down for their false advertising, lying sales tactics and poor customer service.

I had a salesman David **. I told him I wanted to do flooring and rug throughout townhouse. I explained I had a problem with another company not showing up, he said, "Don't worry. We hire within the company. No Subcontractors." I got 3 phone call up to a 2 days before the install that that the flooring men would be there Tuesday morning 8/24/2021. Day before a woman called and canc. until sept 7th or in the middle of Oct. I asked for my money back, they said no and there would be restocking fee. They never got the product. How is there a restock fee?? I canc. my cc with them. They owe me my 2600.00 deposit that they made me pay by Zelle. I find them to be sneaking and fraudulent. Very unprofessional. I explained I have a dying father in California and I cannot change the date, because I'm flying back and forth. They said, "Too bad. No refund." I never got the product, they didn't honor their agreement and I just want my money back and be left alone.

We felt they were more straight forward with the price and No Hidden Fees. They arrived at 10am and collected the COD. Then they ask for the rooms getting the makeover. I purchase carpeting for two sets of stairs in my home. They came within a day to sell me the carpeting and when I had a problem and requested someone come to view the installation, they just won't do it. One set of stairs looks perfectly fine (though the quality of the carpeting is nowhere close to what I previously had). The second set of stairs looks horrible - with shadowing spots down one entire side of the carpeting. It seems to me they didn't clean under the carpeting and I'm not even sure there is padding under it. NFD told me to vacuum the spots in a circular motion - that was their solution.

DO NOT BUY FROM NATIONAL FLOORS DIRECT!! I can not emphasize enough how BAD of a company this is. Customer service is absolutely atrocious, the worst I have ever dealt with. This is a long review but I really want to paint the whole picture of what we dealt with. Starting from day 1, the sales guy came for the free in home estimate and all of his sales tactics were very predatory. Of course he told us the "retail price" was nearly $17,000 before he then offered to do the project at a cost of $10,000. Several fake phone calls later to his manager to get "approval" on a lower price, we negotiated it down to about $4,600. But we were told repeatedly that we would ONLY get that deal if we signed the contract at this time. The estimate would have been voided if we didn't sign same day. So we did. And of course they make you pay the deposit by check, no credit cards allowed...Another BIG red flag.

The new home i purchased had many great qualities but it did not have great carpeting on the upstairs. When I shopped for quotes National Floors was actually the first company I looked into and in the end, they were the company I wound up using. I had my daughter's bedroom carpet redone this past week. I love all of it. How quick and easy the installation went along with the color and texture of the carpet. The employees whether it be the employee coming out to give a quote or the guy that installs the flooring they're always so respectful and polite and very quick to get things done.

Failed to show up as scheduled. Failed to reschedule within a reasonable time knowing all toilets and bathroom sinks had been removed per their request. Never did any labor but kept ALL of my money as if they actually did work at my property. They were also dishonest with the credit card company in order to avoid having to issue a refund for work they never completed. They also unlawfully forged documentation to make it look like I was satisfied with their horrible service.

I did a lot of searching around before deciding to use National Flooring Direct. I decided to contact them and they sent a representative to my house at no cost. The rep had a good variety of flooring and the prices were very affordable. I decided to hire them to replace carpet on my steps and vinyl on the landing. Hired this company to remove and install new flooring in our kitchen, as agreed upon in the contract. On the day of installation we were told that the old vinyl flooring could not be removed due to material concerns. We were told that the new floating floor could be installed over the old floor. That this is a very common installation. The problem is that the salesman calculated the removal and disposal of the old flooring into the total cost of the job and we feel that a partial refund is due us. Another issue is because the new flooring was installed over the old flooring without leveling (dash patch) over a few areas where there was damage to the old floor we now have low spots in those areas that can be felt. I have tried to reach out to National Floors Direct but have not gotten back any response as yet.

The initial meeting was easy to schedule. Our sales rep, Joe F., was very knowledgeable about the flooring products. With 2 dogs, we needed a floor that would withstand that paws/nails, so we considered both laminate and vinyl, and we ultimately settled on a laminate. Joe helped us to match to existing flooring in other rooms, and he also aided us in getting rapid ("emergency") installation. The price for same-day signing/ordering was a significant saving, so we opted for that. Just a few days later, we had flooring fully installed (and carpet removed) in just a few short hours. Great product, great employees, and a great result!

They installed a carpet in my home, they put two different colors in my living room, I think they used carpets leftover from another house, that is why their prices are lower than other companies. Please don’t make the same mistake I did trying to save some money.

Buyer Beware. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They do not take cards and of course that is something they don't tell you until you have agreed and are ready to pay. I scheduled to have my floors done on June 11 and was just told TODAY (June 8) that I now have to wait until August 7 to have my floors done. There was no apology or any sort of remorse for the inconvenience and when I asked for a refund I was told that since it had been more than three days that the order could not be cancelled. There was no mention of the fact that I waived the 3-Day Cancellation option BECAUSE I was told that they were ordering the material as soon as possible and needed to ensure that I wouldn't cancel now that they had made the order.

The estimate process was convenient. I appreciated the estimator coming to our home and providing samples. We received an installation date a week from purchase. A time window was provided early in the morning on the day of install. The installation team was quick, efficient and friendly.

Jan 2021 purchased carpet to be installed in February. Installers showed up with two carpets as planned, one order was correct and the other order the sales person didn't order enough carpet. They returned one month later with the right size carpet. The first order the carpet looked defected. I made numerous calls and sent many emails to correct the problem. We're in July and still no response. I'm planning a visit to court on this situation. Will keep you updated. I should have stayed with EMPIRE but you live and learn.

I entered into a contract with National Floors Direct on 4/23/21 to have my carpets installed. They were suppose to come a few weeks later to install the carpet. I was having the family room done, stairwell (bound), hallway and 4 bedrooms. The night before I had to take apart all my closet organizers in the bedrooms, disassemble furniture, move couches and jam them all into three rooms that have hardwood. That morning they called and said that they couldn't install carpet and said it was covid related. They scheduled again for a week later. So I had to move a lot of this stuff back so I can continue with my life. The good news is the installers showed up and did a nice job. Except that my bound stairwell wouldn't be ready for a week or so and then someone would call me to install that. This was around 4/29/21 or so.

I had a really great experience with the service. I love how the floor came out and the quick installation. I had two rooms replaced with new carpet and l might look into having them do my kitchen floors. In 2020 I had the rugs on my stairs replaced by the competitor and I am glad I chose to use National Floors Direct for my bedrooms rooms.

We had priced our our carpets with other companies and NFD supplied the best product and value. Our install was quick and our carpets look amazing. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Unfortunately there is no option to avoid selecting a rating star. So, for what it's worth, here is the review: As with any in-home carpet re-seller, the salesman goes out of his way to make you feel as though they are family. And as with similar companies, National requires an immediate deposit to reserve your 'special price'. In our case, that price was obtained by the salesman calling a fictitious 'manager' to 'approve' the deeper discount. No problem there, as the price quoted was cheaper than what we were willing to spend. Here is where it gets real bad. We ask for an install date two weeks out, to which the salesman calls back the fictitious manager, and miraculously approves. The day before, we get the texts and email confirming the install. GREAT! So, we empty two entire rooms and store everything in bathrooms and closets.

My house had a mix of tile, hard wood and slate floors that I thought would be impossible to re-do without tearing it all up and starting from scratch. I first called the representative to come out and give me a quote on carpeting for my living room. I didn't really want carpeting but figured that was my only option due to the mix of surfaces. By the end of the visit, I had scheduled installation of vinyl planking in my kitchen, laundry room and living room within my budget! The installers were polite, hard working and tidy and made my house look amazing! They had so many difficult situations to deal with but they managed to find solutions that made it all work! We ordered our carpet in January. It was scheduled to be installed tomorrow. We just got a call that they have to cancel because the carpet wasn't delivered yet. Let me repeat... we ordered it in January. They advertise next day installation and then can't get it done in 5 months. When I asked to cancel the order they stated that it would be with substantial penalties. When I asked to have the issue escalated, the rep indicated that she would give the message but couldn't guarantee when or even if I would get a call back. Don't use National Floors Direct.

I was given a gift card for my time to give an honest review. We called NFD on Saturday and made an appt for Sunday, the next day. The gentleman who came to our house was very courteous and explained everything that would happen if we decided to use NFD. We hired them and the contractors came to install the carpet w/in the timeframe given. We were shown the product prior to install and once the job was completed, they walked us through to confirm there were no issues. Very happy with the final product and the communication with NFD during this whole project.

I was scheduled for installation of carpet on Saturday 5/8 12-4p. No one came or called to let me know they were not coming. I stayed home all day. They inconvenienced me and 3 of my tenants for their disrespect of our time. As of today, Tuesday still have not received a call from them. They have $2000.00 deposit plus full finance for the $4000.00. I want a refund. Don't want to do business with them any longer.

National Floors Direct recently installed carpeting in a lounge section of our new office. They were expeditious in both their availability for quote and installation (although I did order carpet they carry in stock). When shown a competitors bid they stood by their word and beat the price. The carpet was as advertised and installed within a few days of ordering. Where payment options were limited the transaction itself was smooth and simple. When the installers were running behind their customer service agent acted quickly and courteously to keep me informed of expected timing. I had a very good experience with the salesperson on 3/18/21. We went over the work scope and the price. It was way higher than Empire's quote. The salesperson wanted to match by applying a 60% discount. The floor had carpet over hardwood which was nailed direct to the beams. The contract identified needing a new subfloor, and I asked if new plywood was included after the rip. The company required a check for the down payment and financing as an option for the balance for which I did. Part of the decision to work with National Floors Direct was the ability to do the project within two weeks. Because this was so close they had to order the material the next day, which was within the cancellation period, I had to sign a waiver, which I did.
