The saleperson, Austin, was great. He helped me get what I needed and he understood exactly what I was going for. When the guys got to my house, I was told they'd be there between 12 and 4, it was 3. I asked them to make sure all nails were pulled up, including the metal. The main guys said that wouldn't be a problem. They did the hallway and living room, but not my stairs. I was not happy to find that out after the fact. I was told they would move my furniture.

Both the estimator and installer came when they said they would. They were polite and efficient. The installers did a terrific job. They cleaned up before they left. I am thrilled with the results. I received a gift card for posting this honest review.

The people from National Floors were great to work with. My supervisor tasked me with getting new carpet for our conference room. They came out and gave us a great estimate. We have never had any issues with them and if there was one or two, it was resolved so quickly and effortlessly that I simply do not remember them.

The process was easy from start to finish. Our sales rep Christina was informative and lead us in the right direction for flooring that was right for us. She also had tons of samples which helped us make a decision. Installation was on time, communicated clearly throughout the process, and was done in just a few hours. My mother was besides herself when one of our wet, muddy dogs ran through the living room which had her brand New White Carpet! The place that originally installed it couldn’t do next day service to have it reinstalled but National Floors Direct came to the rescue. They matched the carpet and their workers moved furniture and there was free padding also. No extra charge!

National Floors Direct is fabulous! When my friend told me about the wonderful experience, I didn't hesitate to call them. We had carpets installed in our 4 bedrooms. The salesman was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. He took time with us to show us various carpet samples and explained the quality and stain resistance in the carpets. We had a 21' X 22' carpeted family room that was in desperate need of a facelift. Wood was the way to go, but we weren't sure on who to use, several meetings with various hardwood floor install companies, we choose National Floor Direct. It was the best decision we could have made! They had a great selection of high quality Armstrong, solid oak flooring that was prefinished so there was no 3-4 days waiting to walk on it or place out furniture back on it. The install crew was professional, uniformed, very pleasant and extremely fast. The rip out of the old carpet, the sub floor prepped and the new hardwood floor was cut and installed ALL IN ONE DAY. We could not have been happier! Save yourself the interview process and go straight to NFD. Great price, great service and a great install--the commercials are spot on true! TO be completely transparent, I did receive a gift card to post this honest review--but they truly are the best.

I’ve used National Floors twice in two different properties and they have had the carpet installed properly... It's always looked great and was at a cost far lesser than what the competitors were offering. The carpet was installed in the upstairs portion of my home; it looks good and shows no sign of wear. I am now looking at getting new carpet for my basement and of course, I will be using National floors again.

They did the carpeting in two rooms, and they also did the hardwood flooring installation in two bedrooms, a large hallway, and a staircase! They did the job within one week which exceeded my expectations. The plans and estimates were spot on which led to successful installation. I’m satisfied with their work.

National Floors Direct has beautiful name brand carpet and a great selection to choose from. The prices were also great and installation was quick and easy. I wouldn’t hesitate using National Floors Direct again or recommending them to someone else.

I was told the installers would arrive between 12pm & 4 pm. They arrived at 4:50 pm, was told one pc carpet in each room (2 bedrooms). One bedroom they used one pc. The other 3 pcs called customer service and asked them why have seams on the small bedroom when the big bedroom has none. They didn’t want to hear it. They said it was up to their discretion. In other words unless you have it in black and white they don’t want to hear it. They had a subcontractor install, the subcontractor was a good person but I and family and friends will not be using this company for future services. Very disappointed. Hope this review helps.

I would highly recommend National Floors Direct. They worked well with my budget. It was easy to schedule a measurement. I was able to get an appointment 2 days after I called. The measuring process was quick and easy. I was able to get an installment appointment within 2 weeks. The installation took them 1 hour from start to finish and they hauled away the old carpet. I will never use any place other than National Floors Direct. See, my office assigned me to obtain acquisitions and service for our new employees kitchen. As it turned out, the place we used installed cheap knockoffs of the high quality hardwood we paid for. I’m here to tell you that we never got such treatment at National floors. We should have contracted with them in the first place.

Salesman arrives on 6/23 2020 and offers a discount because the floors are in stock. Date of install is 7/15/20. Homeowner operates a business out of the home. Furniture and fitness related equipment is moved to accommodate the work area. 24 hours before the install, they call to say they have no flooring to install. Price was discounted due to availability. Not one phone call by the sales rep Pierre. Sent a text saying "I am sure everything is fine and your install will be great". They won't have flooring in stock for 10 days.

We had an amazing experience with NFD. It was an easy process from the beginning to the end. They were very good at communicating when they would be coming out to give us an estimate and when they are coming for installation. Both the sales person and installation team arrived during their stated time. Every one was very respectful and clearly listened to what our needs were. My experience with National Floors Direct for the installation of hardwood flooring in two rooms of my home was excellent. I received a gift card for my time in posting this honest review but I told the representative that I would have happily done so even without the incentive. The installers arrived early in the "4 hour window" and worked hard all day. They worked for almost 10 hours and I was in my home the whole time and never saw (or heard) them take a lunch break all day long. At the end of the day, the areas were clean and no debris was to be seen. The floors were BEAUTIFUL and even the cutouts for the radiators were impressive. Thank you for a great job!!

I recently had a basement staircase and room carpet replaced with National Floors Direct and my interactions with the company and their representatives were all excellent. Scheduling the initial estimation appointment was quick and easy - I called on a Saturday and the company was able to send a sales representative the following Monday. My representative was very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. He asked me what I was interested in for style, price, use etc. and didn’t try to upsell me on products. He took time to explain to me pricing options and very clearly showed me what the cost would be and the breakdown of services.

Good experience. The installation was finished in one day. I'm happy with the results. My only complain is that they broke the window screen when throwing the old carpet out of the window. I just hope they assume the responsibility for it.

National Floors Direct is just a great experience all around from the moment they came to do the in home shopping consultation until the carpet was delivered. When I had the entry way to my home re-carpeted because of it being worn out, I was going to make sure that the stairs leading to the second floor would be taken care of as well. When I first had that done 10 years ago, there were extra surcharges tacked on for both the padding and labor. However with National Floors Direct, there was NONE of that nonsense! Everyone I have dealt with from National Floors Direct has been wonderful. And I don't say that about everyone. I am very honest, and my honest opinion is, they have GREAT customer service! From the first phone call, to coming out to my house, the phone call confirmations, to the installers...all have been top notch! The installers came on a hot day in the late afternoon. I had a price from someone to have vinyl planks installed, but I wanted a second opinion and of course, a lower price. So I called National Floors Direct. They came over within 3 days. Our Rep provided us a presentation and really took the time to talk about their name brand flooring and how more durable it is. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a new floor. They give great advice and they will install your floor right away. Very happy!

I looked at several other companies when considering replacing my carpeting. National Floors Direct was an excellent choice and the entire process was seamless! I looked at their products online, utilizing their tool to see the product in my room. When the salesperson came to my home, he has prompt, professional, direct and did not waste my time. He made recommendations based on my preferences. No nonsense, no hassle with him trying to upsell. Installation day was just as good with an experienced and professional team who showed up on time, did a great job with the install, cleaned up after themselves, and did exactly as I was promised they would do. This is a top-notch company and I recommend them highly.

I placed an order for kitchen flooring with National Floors Direct on May 21st and gave them a deposit of $1,014. Our house burned down May 24th. I contacted National Floors Direct on May 25th to cancel my order since there is no house to install the flooring. They refused to return my deposit saying I did not meet the cancellation deadline of 3 days. Talk about kicking you when you are down! What is even more horrific; is their cancellation policy. Even in the best of conditions, it is just about impossible to meet their cancellation requirements. First, you have to contact their customer service dept (good luck getting through in less than 30 minutes), have them contact a manager, who in turn emails you a special form. Then you have to sign and send the special form by POSTAL service and have it in there office within 3 days of ordering if you want your refund back. Good luck. So they essentially stole $1014 from me. STAY AWAY!

I had 3 rooms and 2 stairways of new carpet installed by ND. They did an excellent job. The two people that came for the installation arrived on time and worked through the day. They were very professional, experienced and had a great work ethic. The carpets are beautiful. They took all the old carpets and padding. As promised the installer called one hour before arriving. Upon arrival he was very courteous. He reviewed the order with me, and got my approval that the carpet was the right color. He moved all the furniture out of the room without damaging anything. The installation looked great when complete. The installer was very neat and cleaned up everything when he was done. I had a pleasant experience shopping with National Floors Direct. The sales agent was prompt, professional, patient and knowledgeable. Last Wednesday, I had my kitchen floors changed from tile to hardwood. Initially when the salesperson came to my home, I was having him price out carpets for my family room. We got to talking and I had already mentioned when I made the appointment that I might be interested in hardwood. My salesperson thoroughly gave me an education on the different options I had to get the look I was after. He explained how to clean the floor, the different types of material and what would be his best recommendation on what fit my needs best. My salesperson was very knowledgeable and patient with me as I had a difficult time deciding which color to choose.

So we are glad we chose National Floors Direct. When the sales representative Louis came she was very professional and awesome and followed the social distancing guidelines. Also wearing a a mask and made us feel comfortable and their installation team were also professional and great and they also followed the social distancing and mask wearing and we definitely will be using them for finishing our floors From carpet to wood floors cause we just did our first floor. Next will be our second floor and basement.

Just finished a carpet and hardwood transaction with National Floors Direct. Here is my opinion... Run! ... Do not walk away from this company. Every aspect of our interaction with this firm has been a study in bait and switch tactics, straight up lies, and fraud in the inducement and delivery of this purchase! The salesman was as smooth as aged bourbon as he promised everything on our list. He sold us on NFD's use of "employee" installers - not contractors. What followed was a parade of sub-contractors - one group was unable to speak English, the other argued over doing our job or leaving to do another that paid better.

Great start to finish, we did laminate for a sitting room (man cave). The installers were polite, professional, every question was answered. They left no mess. Great experience. National Floors Direct provides great quality carpet at a very low price. I have used them before and would definitely use them again. I highly recommend their service. Empire has lesser quality carpet for almost twice the price. I would definitely recommend National Floors Direct.

I received prompt service, prompt responses to my request to change color in carpet. I had two stairwells recarpeted and I am very satisfied with the outcome. From the initial representative who came out to sell the carpet to the installers, they were are all polite, prompt and did an excellent job. I was glad to have so much open communication with National Floors Direct. Our installer gave us a window of time for the day he'd be putting our new carpet in, and he actually showed up right on time. He handled getting rid of our old carpet and was flexible with any questions we had. Paying for the process was a simple 2-step process; down-payment and then the balance the day of installation. Our experience was really great. The sales rep Armando came out to our house. Was extremely knowledgeable about the product and helped us make a decision based on what we were looking to do for the future of our condo. We were looking to rent it out so we wanted something very durable but also in our price range. He was so great about giving advice on the flooring, what type should go where, and how to get the best value by mixing different types across our house to fit it into our budget. He did this even during the COVID-19 pandemic and we were just so grateful for that level of support and kindness during this time.

The team was extremely efficient. Once they arrived one member did a walkthrough with me to go over the rooms where carpeting was being replaced and confirmed our style of carpet. The old carpets and laminate were torn up within fifteen minutes before the new installation began. At the end everything was put back in its place and during the walk-through it appeared everything was done correctly without us needing to ask for changes. Our carpet installation team arrived promptly, even calling us to announce their ETA. They were courteous and did an excellent job of installing our carpet. They worked promptly and efficiently. The men also vacuumed the carpet for us. There was some slight damage on the wall, due to the winding stairway, but it can be easily touched up with a little paint. So, overall, it was a very professional job, and we are pleased with our new carpet for the stairs and bedroom!

NFD went above and beyond in all aspects of from customer service to installation. During the initial call, the rep answered all my questions and gave great advice. She steered me towards some hardwood flooring that even I knew would look and feel amazing. At the end of the call, I settled on the hardwood she suggested. I paid only half of what I was expecting and at the same time, we set up a date/time for installation. The installer provided great customer service too. They came in and did the job with ease.

We had carpets installed in two rooms of our house. It was done very professionally, quickly and at a very good price! We are extremely happy with the outcome and with National Floors direct!! We would highly recommend them to everyone who is looking to improve their home!

So we had some difficulty completing the project along the way. It took three days throughout three weeks finish it. I believe this was due to the initial assessment where the assessor overlooked the condition of the floor boards in the kitchen. They were under the laminate but you can feel them creaking under your feet and there was an area of missing laminate you can see through. This was pointed out to me by the installer. He said he could not in good faith put down the vinyl without first putting down a layer of plywood. This cost us an out of pocket expense of 700 dollars. Luckily we had it but if not it would have all been a waste. The workers were respectful and informative. We were happy to have their input and expertise. We bought them lunch on the day they stayed for over eight hours.

I have been seeing National Floors Commercial on Tv. I called them and I got an appointment the next day, The gentleman who brought me the samples was extremely professional. The installers were extremely professional and they did an awesome job. I would recommend this company and I would use them again.

NFD installed some carpeting in my home. The company did what they promised. Installation was timely. Workers were professional, courteous, and efficient. The product was high quality and reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to recommend NFD for installation of flooring or carpeting.

WE used NFD in the past and decided to have new flooring put in our house and to try them again. Initially everything was good however after five months in some areas the boards are actually separating to the point that there are 1/8" gaps between boards. After three weeks I was able to finally reach someone I was told that the warranty is three months and to bad I needed to call another installation company.

Problems began with our salesperson. The initial quote for one large room of laminate came in at $16,000 so they could show 60% off. Negotiate hard with quotes in hand from Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc. We finally agreed to $4,900 including moving furniture, trim work, etc. The flooring guys found issues with sub flooring in our 20 year old house and were told to up charge us. At this point, you have prepaid for everything as is their policy. The flooring job itself went well. There will be dust everywhere in your home... Just FYI and I would remove pets next time as it’s very noisy. That was to be expected. What wasn’t expected was that the trim work was awful!

Xavier the sales rep was very courteous and helpful. He did not rush us when we were trying to pick a color for our carpet. The installers moved all my furniture and put it all back where it belonged. They removed the old carpet and padding and cleaned up all the mess. They even swept the new carpet. Everyone from the sales rep, installers to the customer service rep have all been very helpful.

10/10 recommend National Floors Direct! The estimate worked for my budget, the carpet quality by far exceeded my expectations. The installation was within a timely manner! The gentlemen who came to install were on time, efficient, extremely polite and above all cleaned up after themselves! The only complaint, which is MINOR was the estimator ran a little late arriving during the expected window but the company was considerate of my time and offered a discount for make up for my lost time that day. Do not buy from this company. A salesperson named Tanya came to our house, and gave us a ridiculous quote. We told her no and she would not leave. We ended up agreeing to do 2 floors and gave her a check. We immediately cancelled and company cashed check anyways. They called 3 days later and acted like we never cancelled. A customer service person named Kevin actually called me "Lady" and told me I have to talk to the sales manager to cancel. I am going to have to end up filing a small claims for my deposit. We ended up using Luna, a much better company.

After a few too many years, we finally made the move and got new carpet. The carpet installation process was so much faster and easier than I thought it would be. I was dreading the whole thing, but I am so pleased with the whole thing! From start to finish, the guys were so easy to be around, and they really got to work. It looks fabulous!!

My father had National Floors Direct come out to his house to get an estimate on redoing the kitchen floor, 3 bedrooms, a hallway, two staircases, the front hall, living room and dining room. The sales rep came and she was very nice (of course she had to be to push the sale). She approved the colors and wrote them down. She even played, "We'll give you a veterans / first responders discount, we take good care of our veterans, if you have any issues call me...." Well he did have an issue, a very big issue .. left her a voicemail right away and no return call!!! They installed the wrong color rugs!!!

I had all the carpet taken out of my house and then replaced with hardwood. Daniel was super helpful in making my decisions for which flooring to choose. I was happy the construction only took a few days, and my house was left tidy and clean. I am so happy with the final result.

Their flooring services are great. I hired National Floors Direct to renovate the flooring to the hallway and kitchen. They did a great job with the hardwood flooring to both and the installation process was very easy with the great coordination from the team.

Sales rep came to my house with 1 sample board...the best and most expensive of course. When asked if he had anything less expensive he brought in 1 crap sample board. He was very aggressive. Fake calls to supervisor multiple time to try and do better. Raced me through the signing after spending 2.5 hrs at my house. Never explained the cancellation notice however he spent a lot of time saying if I waived my right to cancel he could have the product installed almost immediately. I thought this was shady because the product I finally decided on he said was back ordered for 2 weeks. He came on a Saturday and I decided to cancel on Monday morning so I could get some other quotes.

The installers were great but what a complete nightmare it was dealing with any manager, sales person, or customer service representative from this company. To start, I placed an order for carpet and kitchen flooring. I was aggressively sold to and told to place an immediate deposit of $1,000. After the "3 day cancellation period" I was told the deposit check bounced. (This was impossible.) The sales manager, Tonya, told me she was looking into the issue but wanted to send another representative to my house to collect another check. I told her this was not going to happen so I escalated it to her regional manager, Larry **. Larry told me he had no direct contact at their bank, People's Bank, but he was checking his email "every 15 minutes" for updates.

They have predatory sales tactics, that is played on the consumer by a deceptive high pressure sales tactic. This includes, fake phone calls to drive the cost down, to make them seem cheaper. The salesman will not leave when initially asked. When you notify them for cancelling they tell you to mail the cancellation notice, although they will accept DocuSign to take everything else from you. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH NFD.

Sent 2 people out that did not even speak English. Had no idea what they were talking about. When I called the office I got a sales mgr. that was so arrogant and accused me of being a racist when I said, "Just give me my deposit back." Got no way that's ever going to happen, then he called back and said the following week he would send people I could understand. Guess what? Got the same 2 and again got on the phone and the same damn run around, also they were supposed to be arrive between 9 and 12. Show up about 1:20 and would not bring materials in until I paid cash upfront, sent them away. The 3rd try was yesterday, did get 2 nice installers but this took the joy out of a new floor, they are the not a reputable company. Do not stand behind anything they say. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. This is the worst company I have ever

We have a flooring project for which we are collecting quotes before awarding a contract to anyone. The sales rep spent 2 1/2 hours in our home... Gave the pitch for the company, took measurements and gave an unreasonable price to do the job. He badgered us to see a competitors proposal and could not leave before calling in to the office for a better price. We made it clear that we were not awarding the work right then and there and after 3 or 4 calls with the supervisor, we wouldn't do business with this company if they were giving it to us for free! After reading some of the experiences that others have had, I am so glad we stood our ground. Save yourself... Dont even call them!

The hardwood work that they do is amazing, The crew was nice and cleaned up after renovations. The manager came out and inspected the work once the crew said they were finished to make sure that we were happy. We are satisfied with the results.

The salesperson did a great sales job but was incompetent as far as measuring, ordering our product (we had to back order additional product because the original order was short product) and explaining the horrible guarantee of their products and installation. The installers knew we had a "big" job yet showed up with only 2 men, then the lead installer left for 5 hours. The flooring on the contract said to install in a diamond effect and they insisted on installing it square because it was "faster and easier". The sales person did not mark down that we needed a new sub-floor so this was an additional cost and time. Eleven months later nails are popping up (from the sub floor they installed) thru the Armstrong flooring. Armstrong said the installation is not their issue and National Floors said I only had a 90 day guarantee. I could go on but am limited by space. Stay away from this organization.

After getting the keys to our first home the next order of business was getting the floors redone. We needed to get the floors done asap because there was some water damage from some disgruntle ex tenants. There was discoloration and a ton of scratches! What we wanted to know was if the floors could be refinished to smooth out the bumps from the water damage or if we would have to replace the entire floor. National Floors Direct assured us that after sanding the floors down the bumps would be smoothed out and we wouldn’t be able to feel/notice them-and he was right!! I saved a lot of money thanks to them, because I really thought I was gonna have to gut the place and then replace.

After a poor experience with the person coming to get the deposit and sign the contract, everything else was great. The person who came out to measure was excellent and the installers were prompt and did a great job. We are very happy with the carpet.

My house had carpet in all three bedrooms and I was tired of it. National Floors Direct tore all 3 bedrooms up and replaced them with red oak strip to match the wood I have in my main area. I had my main area refinished and all stained a darker color. It turned out absolutely beautiful. All my floors are now matching perfectly installed. National Floors you guys deserve 10 stars!

Shoddy quality of work, bad quality product, and unhelpful customer service. They subcontract out to random guys that don't have accountability and aren't invested. They're in and out asap. The guys HAVE to get the work done as fast as they possibly can. The rugs they put in were cut short so that they are shedding because the ends are not properly tucked in at the edges. The stairway rug was cut so that there are seams on every tread.

I was leary to use such a large vendor, but they were great! As noted in the subject, I was very nervous about going with the big guy. The salesman was professional, and intelligent. I didn't love the decide on the spot for the best deal mentality, but I understand the logic. Had we not, we would have hemmed and hawed, and never gotten the quality and professionalism we were looking for. They use local small vendors which made me very happy. Both teams, one carpet, and one hardwood, were on time, worked hard, and got the job done in one day. I was very happy with our entire experience and feel they did a fantastic job!

Please be advised we were robbed by this company. They have been unresponsive and ignored our requests to make repairs on a shoddy job. The installers cracked, and broke every single saddle and left with 9 boxes of flooring. Every single person we have contacted has not returned our calls. Absolutely terrible, deceitful and false representation.

My sales rep at NFD was good. He was direct and when a little snafu occurred he worked it out in my favor. The installers came prepared and did a great job. I especially liked that they cleaned up after themselves. My floors look great and I paid less than a third of what Lumber Liquidators quoted!

We got the wooden floor on 80% of our house, except in two bedrooms, and National's price was very entertaining. I know that based on past experiences I’ve had, that they’re very good. And the floor is a beautiful color. My son, wife and I picked the color, and then the lady from the company also agreed with us that it is nice. Her service was excellent. She was very knowledgeable.

I saw National Floors Direct on TV commercials. I was also reading reviews and everybody had some good things to say about them. They had very good reputation. So, I figured I’d give them a try and it was a great experience right from the start. They don’t have a store so their rep came to house and showed me their items. And the workers that they hired were excellent. Everybody was good and the installers were professional and prompt. They notified me ahead before coming. The floor looks great. They did everything that they were supposed to do and they did a great job. I was very pleased.

The sales rep that I worked with was very nice. He was a funny guy, and he definitely knew what he was talking about. We had hardwood flooring installed in some rooms since we had some wood floor in some of my rooms so I wanted to match that. I also put in carpeting in the toy room and in the guest room because I figured it would be a little more comfortable for my grandchildren. I'm very happy with the flooring. It gives such a nice finished look.

I am very disappointed with the quality of work of the carpet installer and the customer service department especially Cliff the customer service manager. I had carpet put in a bedroom covering hardwood flooring. There was a quarter round molding up against the baseboard which my salesman said would be removed. It was not. Just days before the carpet was installed we had a painter in to paint the walls and baseboard. He purposely did not paint the quarter round as it was to be removed. Well it was not. The carpet installer actually left unpainted quarter round molding and butt the carpet up to it. It looks very unprofessional. I am not sure how someone could do such a shabby job and feel good about leaving it that way.

The salesman lied and promised the better quality of the two samples he brought to my house. Customer service was extremely rude and then lied even more by customer service reps claiming to be managers. The company delivered the wrong product as I was leaving town for a funeral and I was forced to settle with a lower Quality Carpet when we agreed on the higher quality carpet. Worst, most dishonest company I've ever dealt with. This company is trash from top to bottom! Dishonest and dumb enough as to forgo commissions on a whole house so the rep could make a few hundred bucks on one small room. They switched the higher quality carpet for the lower quality carpet and the script of lies that customer service kept repeating was ridiculous. So they "won". They beat a consumer. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I had a great experience with National Floors Direct. It was the first time I used them and everything was perfect. They were within my budget, polite, clean, courteous and professional. They explained everything they were going to do. I would definitely use them again.

They were on time. They did a beautiful job on our floors and they were very neat. They cleaned up after they were done. We love our new floor and we were very pleased with the installation process. I would highly recommend you to anyone one.

This is the second time I have used NFD. I had an extensive conversation with the salesman about the entry threshold and whether it would be replaced. He insisted it would and put it in writing in my contract. Now they will not replace it nor will they give me a credit so I can pay a carpenter to come in and replace it. I have had over a dozen phone conversations and each one ends the same way...they will look into and someone will call me back. And no one calls me back. I call again and they read back all the notes and then tell me they will speak to their supervisor and Someone will call me back. It’s been a month since my floors were installed.

Huge communication problem before installation. NFD blamed it on a phone prob. Installers nice, but barely spoke English. Very hard to communicate. I was asked by installers if I wanted leftover carpet. I said yes, but carpet was taken away. Finished product is good, but overall experience not so much.

Were disappointed in the quality of work. There is still a very noticeable bump/seam in the middle of the room where there is no way to hide it with furniture. It took several visits from installers to try and rectify the situation and it's still very visible. We had to submit photos twice. We waited all day for installers to show up because someone has to be home, no show!

The installers did not know how to lay down the floors. I have gaps on my floor which should not be there. National Floors Direct gave the installers white trim for a dark brown floor. This is the worst company. Do not use them.

The installers were extremely reckless, they bashed, and scraped every piece of trim, walls, balusters on both stairways, unnecessarily, despite my asking them to be careful, as the walls and trim were just painted, and finished. I had to have the painters repaint all the trim, and some of the walls again at a price to me of 1100.00. They were also were supposed to put the closet doors back up. We took them off. They did not put them back up and I had to hire someone else to do that, at a cost to me of 300.00. Would not even consider using again for next project, already underway.

We were told the floors would be water resistant. This is not what we experience now. Any water on the floors causes rippling. This is not water resistant. This Causes us a lot of stress and family turmoil. Also, we were promised we would have no white molding. We have some white molding.

Crew did a wonderful job. We needed to install a floor where a pinsella was before we had new cabinets were installed. The original floor was installed by us in haste failing to realise that a new vision for layout would be our intention; We removed a bank of cabinets from the floor design. We also reimagined the kitchen with a new Pub height table and two counter height stools.

Carpet was short, took weeks to get the rest. I made it clear this was a rush since the house was sold. All phone staff was rude and didn’t care I was unhappy. When finally installed it looked totally different than the rest. Will not use again, will not recommend and will post bad reviews everywhere. Not because of the misorder but because no one cared and were rude. The only ones in this process worth anything are the installers.

Very professional, I had 2 rooms done, one was a wooden floor, the other a carpet. Both were done promptly and a beautiful job. I had them done on different days the carpet installer did a fantastic job. Another young man did the bedroom floor in a couple of hours. Both rooms look amazing! My daughter will be using your services soon. We are all very pleased.

Armando was the salesman. He was at my house 2 times. I explained, and he saw that I have 2 Golden Retriever dogs and wanted to avoid scratches and I am selling within the year. He sold me on the engineered hardwood by stating, "the only way the dogs will scratch this is if they dig constantly on it". First day of install that was all proven wrong, the installers were not supplied with enough material to finish the job so they had to schedule for another day to come back and finish, within the 4 days of them returning my floors were scratched by the dogs, there were also holes in the boards, not from digging.

I had laminate flooring installed in my family room. I was told by my salesman that I needed a subfloor and that it would cost $1000, which I paid. When the installer came he told me that I did not need a subfloor. I stupidly had him install the floor thinking that I would get a refund for the subfloor. Any reputable company would do that. Obviously this is not a reputable company. I have been calling and talking to multiple people for weeks now and every time I call I am told that I did not pay for a subfloor and that the subfloor was going to be an add on, if needed, charge. I am also unable to get an itemized list from the company detailing the fact that I did not pay for a subfloor. They tell me that they don’t do business that way. That it’s one charge for everything. That is a load of crap. I am contacting my lawyer if this cannot be resolved. Quite frankly I am tired of calling and I am tired of getting the runaround.

My experience with National Floors Direct was great in the beginning. Everybody was professional, nice, kind, neat and they did a good job. However, they forgot a couple of little threshold pieces that hold the carpet down. In the upstairs, I had a kitchen floor put in and there was one tile that was broken up so it was almost like a divot. They didn't put anything there to fix it and they just tiled right over it. It has that spongy feel like it's gonna break in.

Following a horrid experience with a local big box store, I saw a commercial for National Floors Direct and decided to call.. I am selling this house and moving in a week, and wanted to have the floors done before I go. The "other place" had me running in circles for a month. With NFD it was a breeze to make a next day appointment over the phone. The rep showed up exactly on schedule, I explained what I needed, and he was great! He didn't try to push me into something else; he listened and worked with me to meet my needs. We picked out a neutral carpet, he called to be sure it was available. It wasn't, so he worked with the warehouse to find out what the options were to assure timely install. I was very impressed! I got an email to confirm. Extremely helpful, willing to work with the customer to fulfill our needs. Wow, refreshing experience. Thank you.

I hired Nat'l Direct for (2) jobs. One was carpeting and the other was laminate. Both jobs were perfect! Sales rep was knowledgeable not pushy. And each installer was very professional and did a great job! Price was right and I'm very happy with my floor and carpet.

I enjoyed the salesman who came to my house and sold me my flooring and from then on my experience with National Flooring was nothing but very enjoyable. All the men and woman I talked to were nothing but professional and fun to talk to. I lool forward to having my three bedroom floors done next year. I love this company.

Salesperson was nice, would recommend but could do without video. Install crew were great, they did a great job. Clean up was done. Looked like they were never there. I would use National Floors Direct again in the future.

Floor installation looks great! Fits nicely, matches existing wood better than I expected given that it's pre-finished vs finished in place. It was installed on very short notice, which was great. The flooring install was initially described as probably a one-day process for the whole thing, though one day might be tight for the stairs that we were doing. It ended up taking two full days for both the flooring and the stairs.

Received a new luxury Vinyl floor in our finished basement. It was a rather complex job due to our basement having Roman columns, a living room, dining room, closets and a kitchen. Most other places shied away from installing in the kitchen area as they would have to deal with joining the new floor up against the floor that was still installed underneath the cabinetry. Our sales rep guaranteed that they could do it and then the install team one-upped that by even pulling up the baseboards on our fixed to the floor kitchen island and installing there as well...I still don't understand how they managed that. Floor looks great and had wonderful sales and installation experience.

The company was really good in keeping me informed about time for the installers to arrive. I loved the accuracy of the arrival of the crew. The installation was perfect and the job was done in a few hours living the place clean and the carpet vacuum.

I will definitely recommend this company due to the promptness, exemplary service and quality of the final product! Workers were cordial and reliable! The color is spectacular and enhances my home! The price matched the excellence of the product! It was a success!

I hired National Floors Direct - twice. There was a mixup in the delivery and installation the first time, but when it was done, it was fine. The second time they were hired to create a custom rug 7'7" round and bound and with a soft backing. I've had rugs like this made before by another company (who is not available in this area). My previous scatter rugs had a thin, rubber backing. Joe ** assured me this rug would also have some type of backing. My concern was the rough back of the carpet would damage my floors. Again, there was a mixup with the delivery and I had to wait longer. The carpet arrived with no backing at all. Since this was custom, I had no choice but to give the driver the cashier's check for the balance due.

My fiancé and I were looking for carpeting for living room. After getting several quotes from local stores ranging from $2300 to $2500, and a piece of the carpet we wanted as a sample, we decided to try National Floors Direct. Their salesman, MIKE **, (remember that name) came out to give us the estimate and actually had the exact same carpet that we were looking for - New Bern by Shaw in a crimson color.

So this is the results of National Floors Direct. They installed these baseboards that I paid $300 extra to have with my new flooring. The baseboards were stained with black soot and they looked terrible. Very unprofessional. Then they told me I had to paint them myself (Hoping the photos that I uploaded will be revealed). I then called Tanya (manager) up to ask for a refund but she denied me and said NO. So folks please be careful with this Co. Once you give them your money and if you are not happy with the job you are out your money and bottom line...You are Stuck.

The company took my deposit and charged me 5200$ and never installed my floor or carpet. They have not refunded my money and I am being forced to pay financing to the credit card company or ruin my credit.

We had the worst experience with National Floors Direct. They promised to beat any manufacturer's price by 15% but when we got the quote, they refused to beat the price, we had to fight with a manager just to get the price to match (not beat) the competitor, they put it in writing, and then charged us the original price without the discount. I tried reaching out to customer service and they won't even return my email/or call. Now we have to dispute the charge because they lied and stole from us. Will never deal with them again.

I was in dire need of new flooring in my prewar apartment. Russell came to my house and spent hours discussing the benefits of going with National Floors Direct. I was very hesitant but after a hard negotiation we found a price point that worked best for my budget. I did read previous reviews and made sure to get all the details in the main contract and subcontract with all the specs listed clearly (Such as removal of existing floors, moving furniture, etc etc).

I knew I was in trouble when they didn't take credit cards for a down payment. I ordered the same rugs for two rooms right next to each other. When they were outside my house, one was rolled up and one wasn't. At that point the colors looked the same. I let the men install the carpets. After installation the installer noticed that the rugs didn't match. I called customer service and they claimed that looks different because the walls were different. Not true, same paint on all the walls. The manager claimed he was going to get back to me and never did. I keep calling to no progress. I would never use them again.

National Floors Direct (NFD) do not accept credit card and demand payment in full with certified check before completion of the job and never return to complete the job they stated on contract.
