    All four steps were efficient and therefore excellent. The rep National Floors sent to my house for measurements was quick, competent and made the payment registration easy to understand. The installers who installed the carpet were also quick, moved even the heaviest furniture, reassembling and assembling pieces, and had the room as it was before.

    The customer service made sure everything was done to my satisfaction afterwards, and the monthly payments are doable and no interest for a year! The product is well-done and looks good. I'm very happy. I thought I was going to spend a fortune. But, I did not and my carpet is half paid off, and it has only been 5 months. I will definitely use them again.

      We recently had our floors done by National Floors Direct and overall, we had a very good experience. George was extremely helpful and made a very realistic negotiation on the price, which we truly appreciated. The installation scheduling process was hassle-free and very easy to coordinate. The installer who worked on our living room and kitchen was very efficient, hardworking, and made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving our house. The only downside was that he was working alone, so the job took until around 9 PM to finish. Aside from that, we are very happy with how the floors turned out.       I saw a commercial on television for National Floors Direct and thought that I would set up an appointment because I have been looking at rugs for months. I could not believe how easy and professional the Sales Agent was. He brought in many samples and styles and even returned to his vehicle to get more to make sure I felt like I had made the right choice.       Zero stars! Between the Price gouging, defective product, installation nightmare and highway robbery on day of service I would never recommend this company. Contracts are emailed to the consumer a week later rather than the before the 3 days you have until cancel. The contracts is emailed without details of your order.

      We were promised smooth tile and were given vinyl course tile that traps dirt. When questioned about the product delivered and wanted to cancel service I was told I would lose my $5000 deposit. The manager ** was a nightmare to deal with and threatened to have the crew walk off the job if I did not give $1100 when they had just ripped up our floor because they didn’t have plywood. When asking for a receipt the installer refused to give me a copy for the $1100 cash I had to give him to continue job. The installers sawed the plywood inside our home rather than outside while my 10 year old battling Leukemia was home. I begged them to stop. The amount of dust and debris was alarming. They would not. I had to call my aunt who lives a hour away to drive down and get my daughter out of the house why they were here.

      The manager ** was threatening, sarcastic, mean and dismissive and threatened to have crew walk off jobs while floor was completely opened if I did not buy plywood. The installers would not start job if not paid first. What company makes you pay before job is completed! The installers removed out hard wood trim and made plastic “lips”. They were unable to keep the lips down and took large rocks from my front yard landscape and put on the blue tape and glue to hold down. They refused to put the hardwood back and took it with them.

      The floors were left with huge gaps, tiles separating, installed damaged and scratched vinyl tile when the salesman I met with said I was getting nonporous shiny tile. Our daughter has cancer. We wanted the safest, easiest to clean product. This traps dirt, is impossible to get clean, is porous. We did our first floor in tile which we were told would be seamless but instead the installers put large, high plastic piece dividers in. When my husband and I spoke to them they said “sorry not enough product was delivered we had to meet in the middle” Exactly what we were told wouldn’t happen.

      The large gap they left from the floor to our step down is open an inch and can take in moisture which can create mold is very dangerous to a child going through chemotherapy. The manager ** refused to escalate to upper management and we now have had to start a Better Business Claim. Negligence like you have seen! Highway robbery at its finest! Disgusting and harmful business practices. An absolute disgrace of a company. We are asking for a full refund as we have to have a real floor company come in and take our and fix these floors with proper material and proper installation. My daughter was in the hospital for months and we saw the commercials for National Flooring over and over. What a crock! Never use this company.

That said, National Floors Direct takes customer safety, installation quality, and professional conduct very seriously, and we categorically reject any suggestion that our team would intentionally place a customer or child at risk.

      The flooring products we offer are nationally recognized, manufacturer-backed products installed in thousands of homes each year. Product specifications, installation requirements, and any necessary subfloor preparation are discussed during the sales and installation process. In many homes, additional subfloor work such as plywood installation may become necessary after existing flooring is removed and site conditions are exposed. These situations are not uncommon in remodeling projects and must be addressed to ensure a safe and structurally sound installation.

      We also want to clarify that no employee or installer is authorized to threaten customers, withhold receipts, or engage in unprofessional behavior. Allegations of this nature are taken seriously and reviewed internally. Likewise, concerns regarding workmanship are addressed through our established inspection and service processes.

      Unfortunately, this review contains numerous inflammatory accusations and conclusions that are inconsistent with our records regarding the project, communications, and attempts to address concerns. Because there is currently an active dispute process underway, it would not be appropriate to debate project specifics publicly on a review platform.

      National Floors Direct remains willing to review legitimate workmanship concerns through the proper channels and in accordance with the terms of the customer’s agreement and applicable warranty coverage.       Updated on 04/09/2026: Instead of fixing serious safety hazards and damage they caused in our home, National Floors Direct chose to threaten us and attempt to bribe us with Amazon gift cards to remove our honest review. Our experience with National Floors Direct has been extremely frustrating and misleading from start to finish (still not complete). Their sales process relies on high-pressure tactics and “limited-time” discounts to push you into signing quickly. We signed on March 14, 2026, and once the contract was in place, the promises no longer seemed to matter.

      Our installation was confirmed multiple times for March 30. We took time off work and prepared our home, only for them to cancel at the last minute. It was rescheduled to April 2, forcing us to take more time off. On April 2, the installers arrived very late despite an 8 AM promise upon reschedule. Shortly after arriving, the main installer left for several hours, leaving one worker to handle a five-room job and staircase. When he returned, they rushed to finish well past the guaranteed completion time, resulting in poor workmanship, damage to our home, and an incomplete job.

      They left nails and staples exposed all over our staircase, creating a serious safety hazard for our small children and pets, and left large piles of trash in our driveway despite being contractually obligated to remove it. During the installation, the crew repeatedly told us they were subcontractors and that the issues were “not their problem”—directly contradicting what we were told during the sales process, where we were assured subcontractors would not be used.

      After hours of being belittled and misled on the phone by a “manager” named Doreen, the company sent the same installer back on April 8. He arrived defensive, argued throughout the visit, and repeatedly called us “crazy” for questioning the work before storming out without resolving our biggest concern, safety with our staircase. The workmanship issues remain significant. In the master bedroom, the carpet was originally cut too short and “fixed” by gluing a 1.5-inch strip and stapling another piece on top, leaving uneven, peeling seams. In the family room, there is a large, highly visible “T” seam placed in the middle of the space. The installer blamed us, claiming we should have paid more for additional materials—despite us paying the quoted amount, suggesting they under-ordered and pieced together scraps.

      Additionally, the salesperson admitted they failed to include our staircase measurements, which is why the stairs were left unfinished with exposed nails and staples for over a week, with no clear resolution or accountability. We have extensive photo evidence of all issues, yet National Floors Direct continues to side with the installer—who is neither an employee nor the certified professional we were promised.

      At this point, we have lost work time for three full workdays and will likely lose at least two more trying to resolve this not to forget the hours on the phone trying to just get what we ordered and proper installation. Communication has gone from overly aggressive during the sales process to dismissive and unhelpful afterward. We have received no apology, no compensation, and no accountability. This experience has caused major disruption to our home and family. National Floors Direct uses high-pressure sales tactics but does not stand behind its work. We strongly discourage anyone from using them.

      Original Review: I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with National Floors Direct. From the beginning, their sales process felt misleading, with representatives making large promises and offering so-called “discounts” that created pressure to commit quickly. After signing the contract, in our case on March 14, 2026 communication became excessive and borderline harassing, with repeated calls and emails to confirm installation readiness. Despite this, the company failed to uphold their own commitments. My original installation date was confirmed multiple times for March 30. I rearranged my home, moved all belongings, and took a vacation day from work to accommodate this. At the last minute, I was informed the installation had to be rescheduled, leaving my home in disarray with no consideration for the inconvenience caused.

      The job was then rescheduled to April 2, which again required me to take time off work (which involved a lot of schedule reshuffling) and continued household disruption with an infant and a 3-year-old leading up to a holiday weekend. I was promised an early arrival (around 8:00AM), but on the day of installation, the crew was still over an hour away well past the scheduled time, despite the scope of work involving multiple large rooms, closets, and a stairway. Throughout this entire process, the company has taken no accountability for their failures. Instead, they make the customer feel as though they are the problem. At no point did they offer any meaningful resolution, compensation, or acknowledgment of the inconvenience they caused.

      When I attempted to escalate the issue to seek a resolution, the so-called highest level of customer service was dismissive and unhelpful. I was repeatedly belittled and told that the situation was not their responsibility, despite the fact that we were clearly misled and significantly inconvenienced. I was also denied the opportunity to speak with anyone else who could have a meaningful conversation or provide real assistance. As a result of their lack of reliability and professionalism, I have now lost two valuable vacation days from work. This situation has created unnecessary stress and disruption for my family, and it is clear the company has no regard for their customers’ time or living conditions.

      Given this experience, I am now also concerned that the quality of the products may not match what was promised during the sales process, and that claims about certified installation teams may not be accurate. This experience demonstrates a complete lack of accountability and respect for customers. Once the contract is signed, the customer is left at the company’s mercy, with no reliable scheduling or meaningful communication. I would not recommend National Floors Direct based on my experience.

      I don’t leave reviews, but my experience with National Floors Direct was so disappointing that I feel obligated to share the details. My installation was originally scheduled for March 19, 2026, between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM. However, at 11:30 AM, after I had already waited the entire morning, I received a call informing me that the installation could not be completed that day and must be rescheduled. After several more hours of waiting for confirmation, I was then told a crew would come on Saturday 23rd instead.

      When the installer finally arrived and began working, they removed the carpet in one of my three bedrooms. At that point, I received a call from the office stating that I needed to pay an additional $700 due to the floor not being level, although they said they would “discount” it to $400. This was very frustrating and questionable, as they made this determination after only seeing one room with minimal issues, before inspecting the rest of the area. I felt pressured to approve the additional $400 charge, and there was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused by the initial cancellation or the extra days I had to wait.

      To make matters worse, when they returned on Saturday to do the installation, they brought the wrong color for the stair nosing molding trim. As of today—six days later—I have not received any communication to reschedule and complete the job. Overall, this experience has been extremely frustrating due to poor communication, last-minute changes, unexpected charges, and incomplete work.       Buyer beware. While this company does use products from big companies. The customer service in Florida is very poor. The salesperson measured incorrectly, causing my install to be short on carpet, which caused the installers to patch all along the doorway. Which is not correct placement of seams. Also installer cut the carpet about 2 feet with his knife by accident. After a lot of attitude by service manager, they wanted to seam another patch in to correct all the mistakes. They require being paid up front with cash, so you end up with no recourse.

      After we purchased our home, we needed carpeting in 2 bedrooms, an office, and living room at a reasonable price, along with vapor barriers for some asbestos tiles discovered underneath the previous carpet. We obviously had a lot of anxiety around finding someone who could do the job correctly and professionally, and were recommended National Floors Direct by a family member who had her carpet done and had nothing but nice things to say. The pricing was so good that we were able to pick out a nicer carpet brand than we initially had anticipated for the same price. The carpet was delayed in shipping, but NFD kept me up to date in scheduling and was willing to work with me to find a day that worked for us.

      The installers came early, worked quickly and efficiently, and completed the job in 1/2 a day instead of a full day. They laid the carpet beautifully and everything still looks brand new after 2 months, moving furniture, and 2 cats testing the carpet. We had such a great experience with NFD we re-hired them for our vinyl floors and have been similarly impressed. If you're looking for carpeting to be done in MA, I highly recommend National Floors.       After Having a bad experience with a carpet company who took my deposit and gave me the runaround I was tired and frustrated. My daughter suggested that I call National Floors. I told the salesperson how I was treated by another carpet company and he told me to trust National Floors and I did. It was hard doing that because I still hadn’t received my deposit back as yet.       We recently had laminate flooring installed in all four bedrooms of our house by National Floors Direct, and we are extremely happy with the results. Three installers arrived early in the morning and were very professional, courteous, and respectful of our home. Since it had snowed earlier that day, the main installer took extra care to protect our home by cutting a long piece of carpet and laying it from the front door to the staircase. This allowed them to go back and forth between the house and the garage—where they were cutting the laminate—without tracking in dirt or snow. That level of thoughtfulness really stood out to us.
