I like Master Spas. They opened a store up here since we bought our spa and we've gone in there to get chemicals. Their reps have been great and we've had no problem.

I have the Swim Trainer and the only thing I don't like about it is it consistently rusts. They said that's normal. But I need to go out there and clean it with the lime-away stuff, which I don't think, for all that money, the parts in there should be rusting. Also, all the handles inside the spa are rusted. For $30,000, I shouldn't have a product that rusts. It has a cover over it and there's no importance for them to do it. They're expecting me to consistently clean it off.

There was a sale going on and Master Spas was in town for a week. I went in and looked, and I liked what I saw. The price was a little bit high, but everything's high right now. The tub's quality is all right and their team wasn't too bad. It started off as a dog and pony show, but they finally warrantied some parts that were under a year that needed to be replaced.

There was a hot tub tent sale in my area with a number of brands, and after looking around and speaking with the different representatives and researching all the features, warranties, technology, I settled on Master Spa. They had a variety there, and the ones that weren't there, the rep explained via brochures. He was knowledgeable. He had been working with the company for some years, according to him. He was able to answer my questions, some of which were technical.

I already had a spa from many years ago that was a bit smaller, so I was looking for a little larger with more power. That is what drove me to choose the larger square model that I did that was as large as I could fit on my deck. It has a few more jets than my old tub did. And the contours are such that my wife loves them, and the captain seat, which has all the leg jets. It has these waterfalls in it that don't do much other than look nice, but she loves them. Also, Master Spas' support is amazing. They're right there and they have a website that is easy to navigate. You can find parts. They got all kinds of tutorial videos on how to maintain your tub and whatever it is you need. That is the greatest feature they got.

We bought our spa at an event at the local fairgrounds. We paid 35% off of advertised retail for a Clarity Series 6X6 (7 person) tub. So far we are pleased with the operation and quality of the build. We owned a Coast Spa for 15+ years bought from a local dealer as a demo. The Master Spa is obviously more modern and low maintenance as the exterior panels are laminated plastic instead of wood (no staining needed). The cover is feather light so we don't need a cover caddy. We empty the spa for the summer months as we don't use it in the hot weather. Every fill has gone just fine and operation has been flawless. Would buy another one but hope not to have to for many years.

My concrete contractor was very busy and just got the slab poured. That day at noon I called to schedule the 2nd move, employee, was busy with a customer and would call me back. Called back 10 minutes before close and employee was still busy. The next day I called again and finally got thru. Scheduled a week and a day out at 3 pm. Electrician would have to make 2 trips if he couldn't be finished by 3:30. Luckily the movers were 45 minutes early and the electrician finished right at 3:30. It would be nice if the paid for equipment would get better service than no call back in 24 hours, and the customer had to call 3 times. Picture 1 is the storage location and 2nd photo is in location.

I'm older and I owned spas back when they were made out of wood. They had the fiberglass shell but the outside rotted. Then life evolved and now they have these plastic wood-looking products so nothing rots and it lasts forever. There are only about five things in a hot tub. There are pumps and a heat pump, and the thing to make the water warm.

I live by an interstate and there was a big billboard with one of those deals at the Expo Center for a hot tub. I kept driving by it every day to work and finally, I called my wife and told her that day was the last day. She called me and asked me to meet her on my way home. Reps were emptying the Expo Center and she was leaning against this beautiful hot tub. It's a good product and works great. We had a button fall off and Master Spas mailed us a button in a day. They did a good job. I love Master Spas. I got cars that don't cost as much as my hot tub but it’s nice and has good value. They all cost a lot. If somebody would have told me I was gonna spend 15 grand on a hot tub, I would have said they’ve lost their minds. I got a $15,000 truck.

I was working out at the gym and I was using their pool every day, and because of their chlorine, I was having an issue with the water. So I was looking for something for myself for working out in. I wasn't sure if I was gonna go with a pool or a pool spa. My husband and I were looking around and agreed upon the Master Spas pool spa. Because this way, you can enjoy it by just sitting and relaxing in it, but at the same time, I can use it for working out. The reps were great. They helped me out with any questions and fulfilled all that I needed.

The only thing I do not care for is that the filters are inside the pool and when you have to take them out to clean them, all the stuff that's in the filters goes right back into your pool and you gotta worry about cleaning all that. Master Spas should figure something out and put in their filters, up on top or outside that you can get them out of the water. Because even though we put in a net and tried to get it and catch everything while pulling it out, it didn't work. But other than that, everything else, I absolutely love it.

I have swum with the jets for about 30 workouts with no issues. I do recommend using the swim tether though because it is much more stress free not worrying about staying in the center. Plus you can swim all 4 strokes much easier. Our whole family enjoys the Spa, along with friends that have used it. We are so happy we purchased!

We have a MasterSpas Getaway that we purchased 2 years ago. This is our 2nd hot tub - the first one was a different brand and it lasted about 11 years with only 1 service call. This one is nice and fairly easy to maintain the chemicals - we live in north MS. Temp stays stable-of course it will begin to drop once the top is off but that is to be expected because it is 110v. Not really a problem for us. This week it began to leak and it was difficult to find someone to work on it. Thru research we found a local repairman who was great. The leak was due to kinked tubing in the middle of all that foam insulation.

Easily repaired but I am bit frustrated at having to have a repair that was obviously a factory installed issue and of course outside the warranty. There is a label inside the hot tub that says minimum safety water line. Wasn't exactly sure what that meant but was told by master spa tech the water level should not be lower than that. Well as a result of the water level being high in the tub (where the label says it should be) we have a waterlogged cover. Hmm..... We have enjoyed the tub; nice and roomy for my hubby and I but I am not sure I would buy another one. Somewhat expensive for the problems we are already having.

I got the H2X from Master Spas. It's 8 x 12. It's just my husband and I. We enjoy it. When we first got the spa, we had some issues. Master Spas lived up to the warranty. The dealer came out and fixed the issues. The only thing is in the summertime, they're very busy and you do have to wait. They said it would be two weeks, but it was three weeks. When they came out, they fixed the problem. They got in touch with us or when we called, they put us on the schedule and they'd come out. I'm very happy. So far, so good. It's been almost a year now and it's been worry-free.

I like the idea that it's just enough for us. It's enough water to handle. I like the spas. The only drawback that I find is there are two seats in the spa which is the way it comes. I noticed that the spa seats are very deep. My husband doesn't have a problem. He sits there and he enjoys all the jets hitting him. I sit there and I start floating around. I don't know if it's just women or people who are small float around, but I have to sit on the edge. Sometimes, my husband ends up falling asleep in his spa. It's so good. When I start dozing, I go forward and my nose ends up in the water and it wakes me up quickly.

What I have to do is I have to swim or go to the other side of the spa because I end up with a shadow and I'm able to balance near the diffuser in that corner there and I'm okay. But as far as dozing off, I really would like to sit down, but that's not gonna happen unless I end up with water up my nose. I just enjoy exercising around, just walking, and moving my limbs and my legs. I'm usually in the spa at around 2 o'clock, and then sometimes I will come out close to 4:00, which is a couple of hours. Time goes by fast and you clear your mind and it's really nice.

I'm good with the chemicals because I had a pool before. The H2X is easier to handle. The other pool I had was in-ground and it was 10 x 25. It was a big pool and it was a lot of water to handle and a lot of chemicals. This here, chemical-wise, it's not bad. It was 1,245 pounds of water. That's easy enough to handle. We've drained it already, cleaned it, and put the water back in. We have a rule as far as sun tan lotion to just put it on the face and not the rest of the body. Once in a while, our grandchildren come and they're here for a week or so, and we have to clean it out a little better because they bring in grass and all that. We're very careful about that. For me, the H2X is easy to maintain.

Master Spas offered us a good deal. We got one of the swim spas. One end of it is like a hot tub and the other end is like a swim spa. It's 15 feet by 8 feet and it's the taller version. It's around 6 feet tall. We were looking at one that was one of the shallower ones but when we got to the expo, we got in one that didn't have water and was able to determine that we wanted the taller one for our purposes. The spa operates well. The cover is easy to lift by yourself. The graphics are not up to date but the controls are nice. It's also got some sort of filtration system that makes it easier on chemicals so you don't go through quite as many chemicals.

I started doing my research on swim spas and came across the Master Spas brand. I couldn't find anybody local that handled them. I contacted Master Spas. They said the North Carolina dealer is in Waynesville, North Carolina, which is three and a half hours away. I thought, "That's a little far for service." But I contacted them. They were great. And a place called David's Home Entertainment did a great job. They walked me through all the steps for installation. Found a local contractor to handle the slab, the electrical, and rebuilding a deck that I wanted around the spa.

They coordinated the work with David's and they gave me a deal on the cover. I ended up with the end-to-end cover instead of the regular cover that it comes with. That was good until two months ago. I'm almost at the point where I would contact David's again and complain about the cover. The cover is great in terms of weight and me getting it on and off. But the supports for the cover started to sag so water would collect on the cover. It shouldn't do that. But the spa is a great product. It seems to be made well. I got the 15D.

My other concern was maintaining the chemicals and the water balance. I had managed a swimming pool when I was in graduate school. So, I was aware of testing and making sure that everything stays in balance. They made it very easy. They included a brochure in the information packet that the spa came with. I've read and followed the directions. It has been very easy. I swim two times a week. And that's getting me a lot more active than I was. That's a good thing.

I ordered the safety railing. It didn't come with the spa. So, when it came in, they sent a service tech to install it. He did a great job, noticed the side finish cover bulging at that point. He fixed it while I was here. Ordered another piece, and they came out and fixed that too. My interaction has been great so far. Master Spas does a great job.

The Master Spas is relaxing. It helps the soreness of the muscles. The disadvantage is just in the design of the tub itself. A lot of things I don't care for. I didn't pay attention when I bought it. I wish I would have. I don't like the big valve that you have to change. You can only make either the back or the front work for the jets. I don't care for that very much at all. You can't have all four jets working.

Second is the waterfall really doesn't work that they brag about, because once you fill the hot tub up with water and you get in, the water goes over top the waterfall. It's wasted plumbing. The third thing I didn't like about it is the cup holders are on an angle. If you put a cup in there or your phone, it tends to slide off and into the tub. They don't have a spot dedicated for a phone to be placed. I built a table to the side so I could put the phone on the table or I can take a speaker. But I like my hot tub and I like sitting in it. The installers also did a really nice job installing it. You have to do the electrical. Plus, it was very complicated, the fact that it is a 110 or 220.

MASTER BLASTER FOOT JET. THIS REVIEW REFLECTS AND EVALUATES THE MASTER BLASTER FOOT JET ONLY. First, let me say I have been a loyal and satisfied customer of the Twilight series for over 20 years. The customer service and product has done me well. I recently moved and replaced a 6.2 with a 67.25 because of space limitation. I am obviously happy with the twilight series as I had options and stayed with this model and company.

This is where my dissatisfaction arises. I am on my 4th replacement (dealer-installed) of the Master Blaster foot jet 67.25 series in less than two years. Unfortunately, we haven't used the feature in this last one that broke and awoke to find it floating on Top. Master Spa’s response is in agreement that this is a common problem, most likely an engineering defect. This feature defect will most likely make me reconsider buying a Master spa product in the future.

Hello there, sorry to hear this is a repeated issue. This jet issue while we agree seems to be more common is something we have been working with our jet design manufacturing over the years to strengthen, but it is not considered a defect- it takes the right condition to happen. Most users can adjust a few things in operation and see a longer lifetime and prevent the issue that wears on the jets. We will shoot you some of the intended directions specifically for your model. It appears this purchase was a mistake. In the interest of brevity, I will skip the issues associated with the purchase and delivery. There was miscommunication, delays, and errors. I believe it was finally delivered in February, 2024. I am about to have to refill it for the fourth time since I got it. Of course, each time I have to add a new treatment of chemicals. After the first fill up all of the pads that are stuck to the steps and to the bottom came off. I had to drain it and dry it out so the pads could be replaced. I refilled it. Next, the hot tub sprung a significant leak and somehow this leak was also causing water to drain from the swim area. Since I was leaving town, I decided it was best to drain the swim area all at once, before I left so that I would not have a constant dribble.

I had called about the leak and was told that when I wanted to get it looked at I should fill the pool and hot tub. Well, as you know, to do this you are instructed to fill the swim area first. I did that and started to fill the hot tub, only to find that the leak was so bad that it was leaking out as fast as I was putting water in. I stopped filling the hot tub. I took a picture of the leak and sent it to the people who do your warranty work. In the meantime, the swim area is again draining slowly. The warranty people have not yet come to fix the problem. They texted me to say they emailed Master Spas and should have a response in a couple of days.

In addition to the above problems, not long after the unit was installed, we had a windy night. The next morning I noted that the cover had opened up at both ends. I discovered that all of the clips that hold the cover down had been broken. They broke because they were not properly installed. The straps were not aligned with the female part of the holding unit. As a result, they pull on the clips, caused by the wind, was at an angle, causing the clips to break. No telling what the next problem will be. I know I am spending a small fortune on chemicals. I would be happy to return it to you if you would reimburse me for all I have in it (unit, foundation, electrical work, chemicals, etc.).

I've been looking for a spa for some time. Master Spas was having a sale at one of our convention centers. I called in to speak with a representative about it, and I ended up going in that same day. When I spoke to the sales rep, they explained to me who Master Spas was, and prided themselves on the quality of their spas and the therapeutic attributes that come with it, and they sold me on it. I did a lot of research on a bunch of other spas. The fact that it's all American-made is nice and knowing that if I ever do need parts, they're here ready to go.

The salesman who sold me the spa gave me his number and direct line to his office. I've called him a couple times right after the purchase just to make sure I was handling and doing some things right with the spa. Then I've ran into a couple different random issues that I've called the storefront, and they've helped me out tremendously. I like the product's ease of use. Maintenance on it is phenomenal. It is very simple. I like how therapeutic it is for me and my girlfriend to have. I've recommended Master Spas to a handful of my friends who are in the market to look for spas. We had some color options that fit with the color theme of our exterior of our house and interior material, color, et cetera. That was a perfect combo for us. We like the chance to wind down at the end of the night or on the weekends. The wife and I hang out in it and kids every now and then come over to use it. No real downsides other than taking care of the water.

I was doing research on whether or not I wanted a continuous current pool or a regular pool. I did a lot of research online and ended up deciding that I preferred a Master Spas. They were bigger and they had the spa end and the swimming end. We have the 19-foot swim spa and it's terrific. There's a little more space than a regular hot tub and it gives a diversity of temperatures and still be able to entertain in the same way you would if you just had a hot tub. Also, we have the changing color lights and it has the exercise ability to work on your upper and lower body parts. It's very relaxing. I tell everybody I really like it. It's a lot less work than a regular swimming pool.

Hello there, sorry to hear about your metal fixtures- we do have a guide in the front of our manual about care of the stainless steel fixtures. Heeding this guide is important as even stainless steel can have a chemical reaction called "pitting" when exposed to Chloramine gas. It is very important to vent your cover for up to 30 minutes after any chemical is placed in the spa as this is the time when most release of gas happens- if you are using a floater type dispenser it can be harder to control against. If you see oxidation, you should hit the spot with white vinegar, or brass silver or chrome cleaner to cease the chemical process. A clear car wax can be added to help protect the area after a spot may have been affected a little better as well.

Both my wife and I have set up exercise programs and find the spa to be a perfect way to stay in shape. Two things that could stand improvement: When a consumer spends this much on a product, It shouldn’t be asking too much to receive a PRINTED product manual, specific to the model purchased! The MasterSpas videos are extremely helpful, But, they are frequently too generic and too long. More short, specific programs would be greatly appreciated, especially for exercise programs and ideas.

I finally re-initiated contact and spoke to a salesman who said he was helping me out because the maintenance department was so understaffed. Finally received a call from Maintenance a few days ago Saying they would call me on the fifth with the time for my appointment on the sixth. It is now 420 in the afternoon on the fifth and I have heard nothing. Yeah, they had the audacity to charge me $160 to come to my house to take care of a tub that is still under warranty? I also texted Matt who supposedly runs the department and got no response at all. This place is beyond bad. Had I known this is what was awaiting me I would’ve never bought this tub.

I had been dealing with MIKE at the Aqua Spas in Castle rock where I bought the tub and he had been very helpful. Over the three times I contacted him over no response to my request for service. He came back every time telling me he had in fact, spoke to Fort Collins, and they told me they were going to respond yet they never did so you can see that there are some major problems with this place, not only in terms of communication but of the very service itself .

Hi Candida, so the Charcoal waterfall lid on the Clarity model will simply snap off to reveal the transparent waterfall unit underneath. This clear part does not disassemble without removal of it from the spa's shell entirely and it is advised to simply clean it in a normal fashion over having it taken off. In the beginning, things were a little complicated when we were purchasing from Master Spas. We didn't come to a deal with the first gentleman we talked to but as we were leaving, we were talking to somebody else and we ended up coming to a deal with the spa. The manager that we dealt with was very nice and she has done everything she said that she was going to do. So overall, everything we've done with them has been a good experience and so far, I have no complaints about the quality of the spa.

We bought the one where you could take the covers off both sides as we wanted to be able to sit in the spa and see over the top of it. But the brackets that they sell can't do that. So you can't sit in your spa and look. We have a pretty place here and we like to enjoy the scenery. So we bought these rollers that they installed that you can fold out. But Master Spas don't support that. So what ended up happening was the sides cracked off. I called them up and they stood up to their installation. They came out and bought me two new sides, which look great. They did what they said they were going to do and that meant a lot to me.

In the end, I had to make my own steel brackets to support the top because my wife's not a big woman, so for her to be able to go out there, take the sides off, slide them off, and put them back on by herself would be unfeasible with the method that Master Spas have. But with the brackets that I welded up, she can go out there, open it up, slide the sides off, enjoy the view, and put them back on by herself.

It looks good and the features are nice to it. We enjoy it. The only downside to the spa is handling the big, insulated cover that came with it. It's bulky, so it takes two people. They sell the lift arm kit that helps people take it off, but the downside to that is, it raises the cover up as high as the top of the pool, and where we located the pool, I lost the view of it to watch the kids in it. We're trying to come up with a different way of putting a cover on the spa.

We had previously owned spas in the past years and decided to go to the show that Master Spas had at Exhibition Park in Halifax. We looked at them, saw the size and liked what we saw. We decided to go with that one, and it took a week longer than what they said from the show, but that was fine. It worked out. We didn't get the keys for the cover, so I called the rep in Ontario and she sent me those by mail.

We go to Florida for the winter, and when it came to winterizing our spa, we weren't quite sure what steps we had to do. We weren't gonna pay someone $500 to do that for us. We did it ourselves and the Master Spas rep guided me on how to do it when it came to the little pump that pumps out the water. Everything went well. I put in lots of the antifreeze in all the units and did exactly what they said. When we came back this spring, everything was fine. We emptied out the antifreeze on the jets and filled it up with water, and it works wonderfully. We've had different makes in the past, and they were much bigger. The one we got from Master Spa is just for three people. It's just my husband and myself that use it, and it's perfectly fine. Health-wise, it helps.

It was just blue chips from the filter casing. So, Master Spas replaced it. I had another issue. I called them and they were able to clarify it for me. It had to do again with the filter, not once the jets were turned on. One of the jets came right off as well. So, I just had to screw it back on. And the filter basket, when the jets were on, should feel suction and pull itself down but it would get stuck. I wasn't sure what to do with that. I just have not had any warranty work done for any large purchases that had me pay a trip charge. They also contacted the servicer to come back and spray the missing foam which I appreciate as well as directing me to call them first if any additional leaks happen since that could point to a larger issue with the testing systems.

I do appreciate the responses as a lot of companies just ignore the comments. I am upgrading the stars to 3 for now as again 2 leaks in a year is an issue. If no other issue happen in a short timeframe I will adjust to a 4 as the seats/jets do work well and help my neck.

While I like using the Michael Phelps Legend LSX 850, not cheap. By day 5 we had a leak and had to drain and get repaired. Was told the flexible pipe not glued properly so had small leak. Now we are 10 months in and I notice opposite corner leaking. Service comes out, pull the foam away and pipe comes apart and soaks the guy before he can get it back together. Once fixed he said it did not appear to have any residual glue so probably not glued at all and it was only the foam holding in place. Then he tried to charge me a hundred buck for the service call. WTH? I refused but now have call from the store and guy that sold it to me so will probably get suck paying. All this should be covered under warranty. They have horrible quality control so I could have gone with another brand and saved 5k that could have gone toward any repairs.

We purchased the Twilight Series 7.2 after hearing advertisements on the Sean Hannity Show & seeing them at a spa sale locally. The crew delivered it & it was set up with power run to it in April. The maintenance has been more involved than I was led to believe but the most disappointing aspect is the fact that it is less than 6 months old & the computer pad has blacked out rendering the spa absolutely useless. I called over 2 weeks ago with no response so I called several numbers on the internet. I finally reached a salesman who said he’d put a work order in for me & it shouldn’t take long since they had the parts in stock.

On 7/12/24, a lady advised she was calling for my repair. I told her the problem & she stated the control pad was probably bad, she’d have to wait for a new one, and although it would be covered by warranty, I’d have to pay a $175 fee. So I’ve had my Master Spa Twilight 7.2 less than 6 months, have not heard anything about when a part that controls my spa will be in stock or fixed, have to pay $175 for the “brain” of the spa, which is totally unusable. I’m very disgusted by this experience by Master Spa and the dealer, Atlas Swim Spa, who pretends to be a caring family company.

I have an appointment with a local attorney for consumer protection cases to sue all involved due to these undesirable business practices & faulty products. BUYER BEWARE!!!! Once I have more info, I will post this review any place I can find as well as warn others at local “spa expos”, to prevent further victimization. This spa was purchased for medical reasons, I was reassured it was the best, and it could not be any worse. A spa from Costco would’ve been much more desirable & significantly less expensive.

Spa experience from aspect of getting everything ready for delivery was an absolute nightmare. Company sent a deck builder that was a disaster. Sales people were good at sales, but took no interest in follow-up. Took several months to sort out. Spa also needed several (by that I mean many) repair visits before it even became usable ☹️.

Deck builders or contractors are a separate entity that your dealer may have hired or set you up with when you purchased our brand of spa from them, however we understand the whole experience is what can count and things going wrong sounds unfortunate. We regret your experience and will try to investigate further.

We all Love the Trainer 15D. The jets are powerful and soothing. The hard foam cover is great. The plastic stairs are not bad as long as they aren’t in direct sunlight, otherwise they get very squishy. Everything about it is great except obtaining crystal clear water all the time. I was told that this has less chemical maintenance than a pool, that’s why I went this route. I bought a ton of chemicals from swim spa and followed the chart that they gave me but have not mastered the chemistry. I adjust the PH then re test then I have to add di chlor, then re test and then add spa shock then retest. It never end and I hardly ever have clear water but the test strips show that everything is with in range. I guess I need to get my PHD in chemistry then I’ll understand how to get clear water. This is the only thing I dislike about the spa. I recommend getting one but educate yourself on the chemicals.

It's relaxing and does what it says. It's so hot here in Florida and you got to figure out what to do about that if you can't cool it. But the spa does what we expected it to do and it's perfect for that. However, their customer service sucks and it's been a nightmare. They're good to you till you buy something and they disappear. When the guys brought it, they couldn't get in the yard. It had to stay overnight in the middle of the street. Then they came back, got it in, but they didn't have the umbrella because they took that back with them and forgot it when they came back. The umbrella is still not up in it because it's full.

Hi there, sorry to hear you are having some issues getting help or answers from your nearby store- yes all hot tubs internally do not have a way to cool down without help if they are out in a hot environment like the sun. Some things you can do to help #1. is turn your hot tub down in temp #2. venting your cover using a towel or pool noodle to open your insulated cover during the day to allow heat out (check out this video!: https://youtu.be/5Q3RYlbM27c ) #3. make sure your filter cycles are perhaps reduced down and take place during the cooler hours of the day like the morning or late afternoon when the sun is not as high. Shade like from an umbrella can definitely help - if you are owed one you've purchased we can get in contact with your dealer for you to ask them about the delivery!

Great product, great service, love the swim spa and hot tub, we use it every night. My kids really wanted something to cool off in the summer and warm up in the fall/winter. The install was very easy, and the nicest thing is we didn't have to have any plumbing installed in the ground, you simply just use a hose to fill them up. The other thing my kids have noticed is we barely have to use any chlorine in the product compared to our old Jacuzzi hot tub. It is amazing! Highly Recommend.

Nothing is working to eliminate the FLO code.

We have called them several times troubleshooting as per their advice and called their recommended service provider. Their service provider never has even come out to look at our tub to try and diagnose it. He orders a part and we are told it will be at least another couple weeks as he is waiting for a part he doesn’t even know it needs??! This company has the worst customer service I have experienced. Extremely sorry to hear you are having such difficulties both with your spa and reaching someone for help! With the "FLO" error about 90 percent of spas with this error is due to airlock- A pocket of air forming when you are filling up your spa for the first time. It can happen to any hot tub with a little user error and there are some steps you can do to relieve it. If you have in fact attempted to run your pump for too long without water it can be very hard on the new pump. In which in an extreme case a servicer may need to change your pump, because servicers need to travel to get to you - often they order a common part to have on hand they know will solve your issue just in case - this may most likely be the part they have ordered for you.

Master Spas does sell spas through dealerships only, each dealership is its own business entity. Because of this, not all dealerships in fact will provide or offer a demonstration at start up- some may even have it arranged as a separate service they charge for at delivery- anything like that would be discussed or covered with a sales contract. However, we as the maker of your product attempt to have everything you need as a new spa owner present so you can get started without a in person demonstration in the form of the owner's manual, customer service hotline and links to our various digital guides on You Tube and other resources. Your servicer would also be an individual business if they decided to order you a part they would have placed an order from us-most orders go out within a business week if you had any information on the order itself, we should be able to track it or look into it for you if you'd like. We can also do some additional troubleshooting before your servicer makes his appointment if you would like- please reach us directly at 800-860-7727 or customerservice@masterspas.com. Quote from Master Spas website, "Master Spas is committed to providing our customers with legendary support". The incorrect wiring diagram they provided has caused the motor to blow and they refuse to replace. Their customer support has to be some of the WORST I have ever received. The wiring schematic that comes directly on cover of the motherboard is 100% wrong. When calling in, they said that I was wrong and I also shouldn't be following the wiring diagram. I should be looking elsewhere at a completely different diagram.

I asked Why include a schematic on the cover of the wires that is unusable, with no reference to any other source?? Not only that, I had 3 people verify the wiring according to how their factory wiring diagram provided had it laid out. After many failed attempts of explaining myself and being told No, I asked for another tech and a manager, and was also refused. Extremely poor customer support, I would recommend Never shopping here. There are many other reputable companies to use.

We are very sorry to hear this was a bad experience for you! Balboa is a manufacturer that makes technology we use to provide the motherboard systems inside our spa, they feature a wiring diagram inside each board as a standard with their products. In some of them to offer special Master Spa features, like 120/240 volt conversion for customers, they are modified right here in our factory with a few additional wires in order to support special low level pumps. In these cases, the original manufacturer's working diagram would have modifications and is no longer the "standard" that maker gives. In these cases, we do place specific warnings the wiring has been modified and instructions in our owner's manual to guide you on how to make any changes. The owner's manual would be in every case the main instruction to follow. We always recommend any modifications be performed by a licensed electrician. Going outside these directives like any product may make the item unsafe and may in any case void a warranty. We deeply apologize if you were not made aware by labels or prepped by any dealer working with you at startup. As always, if you would like any assistance on where to source new parts at all or need to be connected with a service that can help we would be happy to do so at 1-800-860-7727 or support@masterspas.com. We do sympathize and wish to make things right for you to enjoy your spa, however we are merely limited beyond the provisions of our written limited warranty.

Please note- turning the diverters when the jets are running is not recommended as they can place stress on them it may also be reasoning for the difficultly turning (when the jets are on you are fighting against your pump current) - it's advised to adjust them to the side you want and then activate your jets. I waited several months after my purchase in 6/2023 to submit this review. I went to the MasterSpa website but couldn't find out where to submit it. To begin, I choose the MICHAEL PHELPS LEGEND MP LSX800 Spa because it contained most of the features I was looking for. I was looking for a spa that could seat 8 but settled on a 6 seater due to the size of requirements of the 8 seater.

I also wanted a lounge seat which I got with the 800 series. I reviewed several hot tubs over several years to make my selection and ultimately selected the Michael Phelps series because I liked the way it looked in the showroom and it eluded a presence of beautiful styling and premium quality. However, after installing and using the hot tub a few times I noticed some noticeable flaws in design of the tub. The first and foremost is the pump shutoff timer which is set for 15 minutes and there is no way to change it. My previous spa by CalSpa was set at 30 minutes and that was acceptable, but 15 mins goes by so quickly it becomes frustrating after a while and you just settle for no flow at all.

The next thing I noticed after purchase and use are the cup holder locations. This spa doesn't have cup holders for 3 of the 6 seats. The lounge has a cupholder and the 2 seats in the front of the spa have a cupholder each. The 2 seats on the back and 1 on the right side don't have cup holders and the rubber float cupholder/filter cover isn't stable enough to trust putting open containers on with the jets flowing.

The 3rd item that is frustrating is the digital control panel. It is touch sensitive and if water gets on the screen it can't sense your touch and won't work. What makes it more frustrating is it times out after a minute or so and you have to touch and move box over to another to reactivate it. Now, given the fact that you are in a Hot Tub with water everywhere and your hands are wet and it sometimes won't work until you wipe it off, but your hands are wet, what gives? I spent over 5 minutes trying to get it to work in 30 deg weather standing up in the spa.

When I purchased the spa it came with MasterPur system to filter the water. It works in unison with the QuietFlo Water Clare System. The QuietFlo Water Clare System has a 24-hour circulation pump that continues to filter and clean the water even when the hot tub is not in use. I wasn't aware that for the system to work it needed to run continuously with no possibility to turn it off. Therefore, I am stuck with an appliance that runs continuously.

Finally, I noticed when it was time to clean the Ozone tube that I couldn't remove it because the box the Ozone tube is housed is placed between to wood crossbeam supports and the clearance between the beams was less than the length of the tube. The only way to remove the Ozone tube was to remove 4 screws attaching the enclosure box from it plywood support platform and disconnect 2 flow tubes (worm clamps) attaching to the box and then rotate the box to clear the upper cross beam. At that point I decided to contact the dealer I purchased it from. So far, they don't have an solution to this issue.

Finally, getting in and out the spa is a challenge. The step down is higher than expected and you could easily slip or fall over trying the reach the floor. I now step in as though I am descending a ladder. I have spent most of my time discussing what I don't like about the spa but it does have some qualities about it that I like. The jets are phenomenal and you can really feel the thrust and power they exert. The lounge jets are so good that they elevate me above the lounge surface if the jets force is set correctly. I can feel the different areas of my body that the seats are designed to massage. Each seat has its special purpose so this a Spa that you must move to different seats to get the full effect.

It is truly a professional style spa and not designed for kids. In fact, the seats are so deep that even my wife at 5'5" can't sit down with her head or least nose above water. Overall, I scored the Spa a 2 based on the items I didn't like about it and primarily because I couldn't change the settings or had no control over. If I graded strictly by the performance of the Spa's massaging ability I would rate it at least a 4.

Hello there, sorry to hear this has caused a big point of contention for you and kept you from enjoying your spa. In general, the topside touchscreens used by our brand are made by both Balboa and Gecko- two wide reaching tech brands throughout the spa industry and are considered top of the line in this field as far as the technology has progressed. Capacitive touchscreens as a technology rely on small electric currents and heat from our fingertips to work. Water can simply interfere with this connection. If the sensitivity were lower, moisture could even be read as a touch to the screen -in a wet environment like this it is just important to avoid. One suggestion for a solution in your case perhaps, if we can offer one- screen protector film for tablets can be purchased from many places that can be cut to fit items that use capacitive touch, in some cases customers have remarked this improves their experience with less water registering on the screen as a bonus it is great for the longevity of the screen control.

So a Master swim spa is actually behind me and it's leaking. It's been leaking since we got it. Three months after we got it, the jets popped off, stuff was leaking. They supposedly came to fix it. I videoed the whole visit. They did not put back the insulation. They did not fix the leak. They left the molded wood. Our electricity and water bill has been off the charts. We can't use it, obviously. They just smoked cigarettes and then they said, "We're coming back." The jets are also uneven. If you have the front ones on, the right one comes out harder on the bottom. And we weren't allowed to wet test it. The valves, also the things that you spin with your hand to adjust the speed popped off. The guy replaced those wrong so we had to put them on. We have no LED lights. The cover is horrible. It won't last you more than a couple months. We took care of it, reconditioned it, we cleaned it. It ripped all over the place. The cover hangers that lifted up into the cover lifters had to be replaced. We paid for that. We went through three sets of rollers and they're what? 800 bucks a set. The clips came off. Those are a hundred each. They come off twice. They haven't reimbursed us. They had the audacity to try to charge us for the -- we told them right off the get-go, "This is a faulty product and we want it off the property. It did property damage." And we talked to Todd at Spa Emporium, Sacramento who sold it to us and he would not help us at all. And this has been going on since we bought it over five years ago. The steps also break.

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this Spa. I was going to go with a local spa dealer but ended up going with Master Spas (their sales rep Oliver is very persuasive). I regret that decision now. We had some damage to the spa upon delivery and I was never sent the new parts. When you watch their Youtube set up videos you realize they didn't give you any of the supplies to follow their instructions and they don't have any local suppliers that carry their products. Take my advice, buy local. Taking care of spas is not as simple as they make it.

Thank you for your feedback. Based on your location, the spa most likely was purchased through an independent dealer since we only sale direct in the state of Indiana and a small portion of texas. If you are encountering issues with your spa, please email us at support@masterspas.com with your spa serial number, and we would be glad to contact your dealer on your behalf to resolve the issues.

I recently purchased a spa at the Denver road show on 7/8/2022, with the understanding that the spa would be delivered the following week as represented by the salesman. It is now 4 weeks later and I still do not have the spa—a perfect example of a salesman lying to get the sale. I had canceled a spa with another company because of a 4 week lead time because the salesman had committed to the delivery the following week. I have spoken to customer service at least 4 times with no resolution. Additionally, I have tried to deal with the delivery company repeatedly with no resolution. Buyer beware.

What the is going on with these folks? The company reps are useless. We've called at least 8 times. They say they'll get back to you but never a call back. Finally got an email address to customer service. They said call the delivery company. Delivery number is not in service, can't leave a voicemail. No word on delivery time. Been in transit for over 6 weeks now. A friend of mine bought one of there tubs and said they are horrible, just throws all the plastic, cardboard and crating on the ground and leave. Wants to charge us money to take it away! I'd cancel the order if I could. "no cancelations on the agreement". This is by far the worst customer service I’ve ever had. There are a lot of really great spa's out there. Don't make my mistake. Go elsewhere.

Hi again Marvin. In the review you left for us on Google, you mentioned that your issues were with a person named Britta and a delivery company named IntegrityOne. We here at the Master Spas factory don't have anyone named Britta so I think that may have been an employee of the retailer you purchased from. Likewise, IntergrityOne would also be a separate company and thus there's not much we can do about your complaint about them either. Issues with them or your retailer would need to be taken up with those companies. We only manufacture the product. Our customer service team here at the factory can be reached by emailing customerservice@masterspas.com or by calling (800) 860-7727.

I use the spa three times a day. I am a big fan. In the beginning, it was a little daunting to try and keep the pH. But now, it’s perfect. It’s easy to do. You just have to get the hang of it. I work out all the time. So it’s great because it does help. My partner’s a runner and it helps with the leg. It’s a life changer. We purchased the spa at an expo and the local company was the expo people. We needed it delivered twice and they delivered it. Once we were done with the space it was gonna be put in, we called them, and they put it in there. They were easy to work with. But it’s weird because once you get online, you’re dealing with national MasterSpas and not the local company. Their YouTube channel is helpful. It is the most helpful thing that I got from them. Anytime we had a question, we just go to YouTube and they have a video for every single thing to do.

I dealt with a representative from the distributor that has the contract for selling Master Spas, and after talking to the salesperson, it made sense to get the 8.2 hot tub. The difference in cost between the 8.2 and the one smaller than that didn't seem to be consequential enough for me not to go a bit bigger and I had the space. My 8.2 hot tub from Master Spas is well-engineered and well-thought out on how it was put together. It's got extra lighting and water features, as well as therapeutic jets. I had a couple issues when I first got it, but the dealer responded very quickly and sent a person in my house. They saw the issue. There was a small leak near the pump, and they replaced a gasket, gave me an extra gasket, and showed me how I could do that myself if I had to. I also had some issues with the Wi-Fi unit, and they came and replaced it. It's been good for six months now.

The reps from Master Spas were very good. have had experience with this particular dealer and I was very happy with the people who came out and took away the old one and installed the new one. This spa has lights and it cycles through the colors but the way that it cycles is, it flashes, it doesn't fade. And this spa doesn’t have a stereo in it unlike my first one. But I don’t miss it because I don't want to hear that noise when I'm in there anyway and if you have the jets on, you have to turn it up even more. And I don't even know how much that would even be irritating my neighbors.

I use the spa every day. It’s my meditation opportunity. I get in it in the morning, I watch the sun come up, drink my cup of coffee, and ponder what I'm gonna do all day. I almost don't like it when it gets too hot out because I don't use it as much. I leave it at a constant temperature and don't heat it up every day. That way, you're not spending the electricity to heat it up. It makes our utility bill go up in the winter though. We're in our 60s and we have aches and pains, and a massage cost $80 for an hour. So, if I’m spending extra $50 a month on my electric bill for a few months, that's very well worth it.

The reps did a good job, and the spa has everything I wanted. I wanted a lounge chair and it's a six-person tub. The pricing was good too. It might have been last year's model, but I got it for 13,000 and it was selling retail for 24,000. I love my spa. I use it four times a week on average, and I like sitting in the lounge chair because that covers my whole body. The spa is on my back patio but I built a hot tub house around it. It's enclosed so it's private. That’s super nice.

The spa was supposed to come with steps and they didn't have any when they delivered it. Now, I got this little ladder and that works really good. It’s easy to step in and out of the spa with that. I'm trying to call Master Spas to cancel the steps because they're supposed to give them to me when they come in. I talked to the people out of Ann Arbor, Michigan. I paid for the steps, and I’d like to get reimbursed for them because I don't want them anymore.

We absolutely loved everything about hot tub. It's awesome, but right now, we are having terrible withdrawal pains. We relocated to another city and had to put it in storage while we're building our house. We got the Twilight series. It has a number and variety of jets and the ability to adjust the pressure from them, and on top of that, it’s just so nicely made, and such good quality. We looked at every other competitor before we bought that, and it seemed to be, by far, the best value. We ordered it on my wife’s birthday, which was March 8, and we didn’t have the hot tub installed until October 29. We hated waiting that long, but the people at Atlas Spas were exceptional. This is our second Master Spas that we have bought from them, and we’ve always had great service from them. The company that did the installation is also the company that we hired to do the move, and they did an excellent job. Atlas is a good representative for Master Spas.

I kept asking my rep and his manager where it was and didn't ever hear back. I finally got upset and yelled at someone on the phone and he helped me. The cover was never ordered. It is now April! After getting upset with Dallas the manager, I asked to be compensated in some way, like a free cover, and was ignored. 2 weeks later it came and FedEx tore a huge hole through the cover. This was 2 weeks ago and I still can not get ahold of Dallas or anyone to even order me a new one. If I don't get helped soon I will take legal action. This is absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Here we are 10 months later and we still don't have our pool/spa.

After MONTHS of delays and avoided phone calls a delivery person called with a couple of delivery dates when we were not available. I gave several windows of opportunity over several months and STILL...no delivery. The last time I called I was told "No refunds, no cancellations, tough luck". If this issue remains unresolved in the next few weeks, I will be seeking legal action for a full refund of my $35,000 plus interest and any punitive damages as allowed in my state. There is no reason whatsoever I should have to wait nearly a year for delivery of something I paid for upfront. Now here we are well into 2022 and STILL no swimsteps or reimbursement and our swim spa is still inoperable with ZERO sign of help from Master Spa.

After 2 years of use, I noticed a fine black dust appearing to come out of the cover. It has become so bad that the dust appears all over the sides of the spa and gets into the pool. I thought it was a disintegration of a mesh liner inside the cover. It turns out to be strap webbing that holds the whole system together that has disintegrated internally. Ribs and cross members were found to be deformed as well. After much back and forth with Master Spas, they have finally acknowledged this is a product issue and not from care or use of the cover. Per their warranty, they are only replacing the parts and leaving me to pay for over $500 in labor and shipping costs. It is their choice to send me parts instead of replacing the cover.

My issue is they are basically rebuilding the entire cover in my yard at my expense. This is not a just a single strap, tie-down strap, or rib issue. The entire cover is going to be taken apart and put back together with new ribs and strapping. This appears be a known issue as Master Spas has a new and improved strapping material. My solution was for them to send me a new cover with the new material and not rebuild my cover by a team of people who have never repaired this cover before. They have not agree to replace but to continue on this unsatisfactory approach.

No cover was shipped with the spa. I immediately called customer service and spoke to a gentleman named Dallas. Dallas said the wrapping can become torn and it is a 18,000 fine for transporting it that way. He assured me that the cover would be shipped on December 28th, a week after we received the tub! I registered the spa and sent multiple emails with detailed pictures to Dallas. Today is December 27th and I have yet to receive an email even acknowledging the service department received my emails! This is what I need.” I looked at the reviews for Master Spas, and all of them were fabulous with no little gray areas of any type of drama. I found the location, and they have the best customer service ever. I work in retail, so that's very important to me. As far as the product, the lights are my favorite. My husband loves the captain's chair.

My wife and I bought a swim spa from East Coast Spas, manufactured by Master spas. We were told at the time that the manufacture time was five months. So we planned the construction of the room addition to the house for the spa to coincide with the anticipated completion of the manufacture. Everyone was very helpful and smiley when we paid the down payment. After that it was all curt, snippy, canned responses.

That was eight months ago. There is a policy of providing absolutely zero information about any specific orders, by Master Spas and East Coast Spas. They claim that they have no information about any specific order. They refuse to look it up. They post general information about general manufacturing trends. We were then told that there was about a two month delay in the general production trends due to part supplies from Covid related delays. That came and went. About 20% of my phone calls were returned. Those phone calls that returned refuse to provide any information about our specific order or give any sort of updated estimate on delivery.

In my opinion this is not no service, it is negative service. When you officially collude with between the manufacturer and the retailer to provide no information whatsoever about any specific order, I call that negative customer service. So we have a partially completed, open to the elements structural addition to our house as winter is closing in, and we cannot even get an informed estimate or any specific information whatsoever. This causes me to worry, is Master Spas and East Coast Spas a Ponzi scheme? Is there a really ever going to be a Spa? Why would they collude to provide no information?

    Response from Master Spas

Hi Larry. Thanks for reaching out.

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to respond to your frustrations. First, we appreciate you choosing a Master Spas swim spa from one of the specialty retailers that sells our products.

Second, we absolutely acknowledge your frustration with not getting some better answers. It’s been a very challenging time the past year and a half and the continuous shortages and delays have been a moving target making specific communication of updates almost impossible. It’s obvious the opportunity to communicate more is there.

We did reach out to the retailer you purchased from and they confirmed which order is yours. We are happy to report that your order has been assigned a serial number and should start in our production in the next 2 weeks. The retailer will call you as soon as they see it completed and have it arranged to be shipped.

Thanks again for your patience and we look forward to having you in your new swim spa soon.

I like the entire thing. There are a couple of things that we would have done differently though. Knowing now what we know, if we could have gotten the hot tub side bigger, that would have been a little nice. We would have opted for the stronger motor and a different model on the swimming side. My husband outswims it and he said it's not strong enough. I said, “Then don't swim as fast.” But still, we have no complaints.

The service from Master Spas was great. We bought this during a pandemic and it took 355 days to come. We appreciate, love and understand the whole thing. But our salespeople were not awesome during that time. We had requested a site visit and they said we don't need one. It was not a lot of great communication coming from the sales team. They told us six months. But not another six months. I understand their perspective though. They're a small company who had to deal with even less because who's buying a hot tub during a pandemic? It was just very stressful and upsetting and we had to take my kids back to another hot tub show to explain to them that we bought one because they didn't believe us. They thought we were scammed.

They only have one service technician in Utah and he doesn't respond. The dealership pushed me over to the manufacturer. I have called them twice and they said they would contact him. He has stopped responding completely. Master Spa hasn't offered any other method to getting my 9k spa working. I have only been able to use it for a year of the two we have had it. It's pretty disappointing that if they are going to sell in a state that they don't provide better technician services.

I've learned how to stabilize the jets for slow and faster swims. It’s very easy to do. It also helped me from an arthritis standpoint and stretching. The spa has been a great asset. Master Spas was great to work with. We've all had frustrations with COVID and supplies but the rep communicated with me as often as possible. I didn't have an issue at all. I paid a little bit more for the spa but it was worth it in the end.

I went down to the Master Spas place in South St. Louis to look and see where my friend got her Swim Spa and they happened to have four in stock. We had the money so they let me buy it and pay for it that day. Then, they delivered it in a few weeks. I wanted a tub that did not have the lounger in it and one of the ones Master Spas had in stock was no lounger. Also, I'm only 5'1" with my hair done, so I wanted one that I could sit in and not drown such that my head would still be above the water. Because of the eight seats, in four of them, I could sit with my head above water.

Master Spas sent us the drawings on where the electrical needed to be and it needed to be flat. They asked lots of detailed questions about when they deliver the spa such as if they were gonna need a crane or if it was something that they could back their truck up to and put it in place. I sent them pictures and we got great feedback on how it was gonna take place. They showed up on the day and time they said they were going to. They had three men with them and it took maybe an hour from the time they backed in our driveway until it was put in place.

Hi Bob. We're sorry to hear that you've had such a negative experience. Unfortunately all of these issues sound like they're more with the retailer you purchased from and not the hot tub itself. Your retailer is a completely separate company from us and thus any issues with the purchasing experience would need to be handled with them. We only manufacture the spas, so if your hot tub itself has an issue we'd be happy to look into it and hopefully get it resolved. However any issues with sales/delivery/service would need to be handled with the retailer who sold you the spa. If there is an issue with the spa itself, please feel free to contact the factory's customer service team by emailing customerservice@masterspas.com or by calling (800) 860-7727 during our normal business hours (7am-5pm, Mon-Thurs; 8am-12pm on Fridays).

We have noticed this problem at a exterior temp as high as 50 degrees. Disappointed in a spa that can't be used for more than 10 minutes in the winter.

Hi Charline. I’m sorry for the delay. I’m glad you reached out to us. Unfortunately, we are feeling the same frustrations when it comes to production delays. The COVID-19 pandemic has created new challenges for the entire manufacturing industry. Mandatory shutdowns, supply shortages, and increased safety precautions have slowed production time. As a result, customers such as yourself have experienced a longer waiting time than originally quoted. The good news is, as different states and communities bring the workforce back in stages, our suppliers have made our inventory of materials top priority so we can keep producing. Please know that our manufacturing is busy working diligently to meet unprecedented consumer demand, and we are producing at full capacity — as our supplies come in (and every week that status is different).

As far as the issues with communication with your dealer, Paradise Spas, there's not much we can do. They are an entirely different company so any issues in regard to working with them will need to be taken up with their customer service team. We are only able to help if the issue is with the spa itself as we are the manufacturer, not the retailer you purchased from.

We hope to hear that you love your hot tub when it gets delivered.

I have a 6 seater and if you want a pressure that is sufficient to stimulate muscles and joints, this is NOT for you. If you want enough pressure you MUST turn off all jets in other seat for it to be effective in one seat. I couldn't believe it with the money I spent and how inefficient this unit is. I bough one of the best units. Master Spas is way over priced for the efficiency of the product.

I had one a few years ago and it was wonderful. All seats had great pressure at the same time. Not anymore. I spoke with several people from the company over 8 times and finally was told after months of waiting that if I wanted to spend another $3500 they would switch it out. I already spent way too much and was not about to get ripped off a second time so I denied the offer.

According to our records, the replacement spa that was offered was one of our higher-end 3 pump models. The sales reps were good. But one thing we were not happy about was how they downplayed the cost of electrical hook up. It was a lot more expensive than what they said it would be. That kept us from getting the product installed for an extended period of time because we didn't have enough extra to do that. Master Spas was great. They honored their commitment. We could have been left with paying and getting no product but they delivered and we were grateful. Also, when we bought our spa, we were told we could keep it in the warehouse until we were ready to pick it up. That ended up being a longer period than we thought it would be. We didn't get it installed and running until 10 weeks ago and we were past the warranty of it when it was delivered. But as far as actually using it, it's like brand new.

Also, if I pay $10,000 for something, I want it to be perfect. I can change the color schemes and when I'm on green, one of the LEDs is red. I called about it and nobody got back with me. There are also some stuff on the LCD panel which are hard to read, like the numbers are upside. It wasn't like that initially but now it looks weird. We're out of luck because we're out of warranty even though we probably shouldn't be because we didn't get the spa set up until recently.

We were eight months without one and it's nice to be able to have a spa back, not only for enjoyment, but for therapeutic purposes as well.

We're very pleased with Master Spas. It's of much higher quality than the Aspen spa I had, which worked well for a bit then it constantly had some issues that needed to be repaired. With our Master spa, the controls are easy to use and the insulation is very high quality. So far, the jets have been very easy to adjust and everything is working the way it's designed. Also, the cost for the quality we got was comparable to most manufacturers that size. We looked around at some that were less expensive, but they didn't have the aesthetics or the features, and they didn't appear to have the same level of quality.

The folks over at the place where we got our Master spa were nice and knowledgeable, so that helped. Though we had to wait for it so long, it is understandable in these times. The guys knew what they were doing and I had a good time watching them do it. I primarily picked this model because I like the features in it. We have the Bluetooth radio in it. Even though the lights on the outside of the tub don't sound like a lot of people get it, I love it at night. If you're not in the tub and you're looking at it, it's got the stripes down the side. That looks cool. We love our Master spa. My wife was against it but now, she loves it as much as I do.

The saleslady was awesome every step of the way. However, we waited a long time for the tub and with all the money we put into it, it was too small. The next day, I called the place in Waukesha and talked to Stephanie and the boss. They took it back and let me buy a bigger one. It costs twice as much and we never would have spent that much, but the first one was paid for. We liked one of the few they had in stock so we took it. Otherwise, it would have been a 400-day wait. They delivered it and we like it.

We're trying to figure out how to keep the water clear. We ended up taking out the orange filter and putting in two paper ones and hammering it with chemicals. The orange filter takes out the chlorine and it's nice that you don't have the smell but we're having a hard time keeping it clear. We're gonna put it back and see if we can try it again. I called my saleslady and asked her about it. She said, “You're doing it right. It should clear up in two or three days,” but it didn't. It stayed cloudy for quite a while. But overall, we like the tub and Master Spas answer everything they can and are forthcoming.

As soon as he got my money for the whole thing, he opened his own company. I had to hire somebody to finish the project. Other than that, I love my hot tub. If it wasn't for that, the experience I'm having with my pool would have been a disaster. But since we got that, my whole family said, “You know what? We should’ve just gotten this hot tub.” That was the best experience I have ever had with anyone hauling something in my house and putting it together. The tech did the electrical box and it was the easiest thing I have ever done. It's perfect for us.

Hi Rebekah. We assure you this is not a scam; hence the reason why the majority of our reviews on this platform are positive testimonials from real customers who have and love their product. We do, however, acknowledge that wait times have been longer than you may have originally been quoted upon purchase. Unfortunately we're feeling the same frustrations.

The COVID-19 pandemic has created new challenges for the entire manufacturing industry, including ourselves. Mandatory shutdowns, supply shortages, and increased safety precautions have slowed production time. As a result, customers such as yourself have experience a longer waiting time than originally quoted. The good news is, as different states and communities bring the workforce back in stages, our suppliers have made our inventory of materials top priority so we can keep producing.

In the meantime, please know that our manufacturing team is busy working diligently to meet unprecedented consumer demand and we are producing at full capacity — as our supplies come in (and every week that status is different). I have been unable to reach anyone regarding the status of my order, I get the run around and no response or offer of assistance. I have signed up for email updates, which is useless. Email updates remind me what I need to do to be ready, about every 2 weeks.

I see there are many customers who attended the same show, same experience and no answers. The agreement says estimated delivery.. Does not state, nor was it communicated by the salesperson, the delivery may take 4-16 months. Important disclosure to customers considering purchase, don’t you think? If I knew order/ delivery would take this long and now I see could be even longer, I would not have made the purchase. A couple weeks delay due to COVID is understandable, delays of 4-16 months is not. Why would you continue to have shows/expos if you are unable to meet current demand?

Any issues with poor communication with your sales person will need to be taken up with the retail company you purchased from. We manufacture the spas, but they are sold through third party dealers that are completely separate companies from us — so any problems encountered during your sales experience will need to be handled by them directly.

While some customers may decide they aren't willing to wait for their product, we have plenty of customers who are willing to wait and would prefer to get in the queue now as opposed to waiting until lead times lower to submit their order. Because of this, many of our dealers are still holding shows and expos so that those people can order their spa and get in line now.

Brett, the salesperson in the store, was stellar. I had a building project going on and I was considering getting a spa. When Brett came out, that sealed the deal with Master Spas. I looked at several other spa companies. I even went and visited several other ones, and I had other people who might come out. But I liked Brett's personality, his customer service, everything that he does, and I felt like he was a brother, a friend, and that he was gonna be there with me all the way. Also, Master Spas is right around the corner from me.

I really need someone to come out though. They did do a little training when they put it in, and I'm doing the best I can with it. But I do have a few more questions that I need to ask about cleaning the filter and about some things having to do with the access electronic panel. I got the Michael Phelps. I'm 5’10 and I really wanted to swim in a pool, so I wanted to get the biggest, widest one that I can get. Now, Brett said with Michael Phelps’ height and size, it would be the best one. It's got the lights. It’s got the swim in place, the current that you can adjust fast and slow. It's got the spit-ups, the spouts where the water shoots up out of it. I'd like to learn the panel more so that I can really know the quality, but it’s fun. The current is good. It's good for exercise.

I have a 2 year old Force swim spa, manufactured by Master Spas. Upon original installation, the waterfall feature failed, as it had not been properly seal at the factory. Water got down to the electrical box and the breaker tripped. Finally had it service repaired, and everything was fine. Unfortunately, earlier this year, the Ozone unit failed - with a split in the pipe. Water dumped onto the electrical box, but the unit did not trip off. I shut off the circuit breaker in my house to the unit and dumped the water out of the spa. I noted that the circuit breaker and GFCI remained wet after a few days - so I opened up the electrical box. Water poured out and the circuit breaker was rusted beyond use. Upon further investigation it appears the design allows water to intrude from the wiring inlet, and the sealed box prevents the water to escape.

The Master Spa dealer in Tennessee noted the parts (formally called a wave propulsion distribution box) would be replaced under warranty. That was back in April. Despite some recent emails - I have heard nothing. Very concerning for a $40,000 spa that is two years old, and has a clear safety issue. For a unit that costs this amount, I am surprised they do not use an IP rated front panel to assure people do not get electrocuted.

I got the top of the line from Master Spas and it has everything I can think of that a spa needs. We like it but they need to be more upfront. I put in the wiring myself for that unit and they weren’t specific as to how much wire I needed in order to get to the actual service panel. Where the panel was was not anywhere close to where the wall was. The salesman said that it just needs to reach the spa and that means that you’re gonna take the wiring from anywhere on that location as long as I have enough to reach the spa, and I had plenty to reach the spa, and then some. It would not reach the panel so I had to go buy another expensive length of wire in order to get it all the way to the service panel. In any case, that needs to be better disclosed to the new potential buyers.

I bought my Master Spas pool through a distributor which is Leisure Works out of Ann Arbor. It's not been that great with them. The pool had a defect when it arrived. It had some moisture in the electrical panel. They did replace it and it took a couple of months (which isn't surprising due to all of the shortages going on) but they haven't been super helpful. We couldn't find filters. We were asking for alternatives but we weren't given any help at all. But we absolutely love the pool. It's easy to use and we love the features. Also, the lifts that we got are easy. I can do it by myself if nobody's home. The pool has got everything that you could ask for with the exception of built-in speakers. It does not have Wi-Fi. Also, it only has a one-year warranty, so I'm a little concerned about that. I hear that repairs can be costly, but I won't know that for a while.

I got the Twilight from Master Spas. I liked its size and cost as well as the availability. The installers came within a week and the hot tub was running within an hour. So, it was super quick. The first week that we have it, when we were taking out the filters, one of them got a little cross-threaded during the installation. Wherever you try to undo it, it keeps on screwing. So, you have to set it in there. Hopefully, it's not the hot tub itself that’s cross-threaded. I’ll find out when I change the filters in a few months. Then, the dial that turns on and off the jets inside the tub came off in one of the jets. So, we had to YouTube and call the company, and figure out how to put it back on. Otherwise, it’s good.

The hot tub has a lounger and it has room for five people. It has a little foot thing that you can put your feet on that I like and I also like the different lights and the quietness whenever the jets are on. The hot tub is something that the whole family can use at the end of the day to be able to have a place where we can relax, talk and hang out. We’ll probably use it more in the winter. We use it some in the summer but it’s hot here. It was a super positive experience with Master Spas and I would recommend them. People should look into it.

My wife and I were looking for a new spa. At a local spa show we fell in love with the idea of a swim spa and the salesman from Master Spa was very convincing. After delivery and after owning for 2 years, I had hoped that someone told us the following. The obvious, a swim spa is 3-4 times as expensive as a spa. We had to pay for a concrete slab base for the new spa with the ability to support 1900 gallons of water plus the weight of the spa which is around another 500 lbs. We had to have a new 50 amp breaker and electrical installed to the spa. Once we got it assembled, we noticed - There is no way to drain it.

You are supposed to replace the water 2-4 times a year depending on use and you are responsible for purchasing your own submersible pump to do it. For CA, the water costs are quite costly as well for changing out the water. The covers are very difficult to get on and off. Even with the best mechanical lifts that you also have to buy on your own and install, you need to open the covers over 5-6 ft. above your head and they are heavy.

Maintenance - The skimming top layer filters do not do a good job of filtering the surface. From the beginning, oils, dirt, debris, will not effectively get drawn to the filters even when the jets are on. The majority of the volume of filtration comes from 2 inlets under the seating area and I do not think they back-flow to the filters for cleaning the water. There also is not enough force to remove dirt or debris off the bottom of the spa basin. Filters are proprietary to Master Spa and 2-3 times more expensive. only 2 of the 3 filters have generic sizing for replacement.

Warranty - Within the first 3 months, one of the decorative water jets stopped working. After an e-mail to the company, being rejected by 2 spa technicians, contacted a closer spa repair company 60 miles away and after 3 weeks, finally had a technician come out and remove manufacturing debris (wad of plastic) from the tube. The technician requested mileage covered for the repair in which Master Spa paid for.

At a year and a half old, the spa started leaking. Once again, contacted customer service, contacted the previous technician, Master Spa is no longer covering mileage. So, even though the repair is covered by the warranty, I have to pay $100 each time the technician comes out. To summarize before buying - actually test the swim spa for swim resistance and ease of use. The control valves are tough to turn. Swimming is challenging since the water force pushes you to the sides and it's hard to keep at the correct pace. Be aware of where the nearest service technician is. Anything farther than 30 miles will get a mileage charge that is not covered. Keep in mind it is neither a spa (seat jets are not that strong) or a pool but something in between.

    Response from Master Spas

Hi Ken. Firstly, thank you for providing your feedback. We do appreciate it and we’re sorry to hear that your swim spa isn’t what you had hoped it would be.

You are correct about the drain. Due to the physical size of the swim spa, using a submersible sump pump is the most effective way to drain it quickly. Please also know that your water doesn’t have to be replaced 2-4 times per year if you feel the water quality is still good. We have many customers who go a year or more before draining and replacing their water.

As for the cover, we’re sorry to hear that you didn’t feel the cover lifter provided much assistance. We usually have great feedback from customers using cover lifters so it’s unfortunate that you didn’t feel it helped much. We do have an alternative cover, the Axis Cover System, that rolls up instead of folding. I’d encourage you to look into it if it sounds like something that could help.

I’d like to also address your concerns with filtration. As filters get dirty, there will be less suction and water being drawn into the filter housings. Regularly rinsing and cleaning your filters will allow the most optimal amount of water to draw into the skimmer and filter housing. If the filters are removed and there is draw felt as the pumps are operating, there is likely no problem at all. If you’re having an issue with debris settling at the bottom of your swim spa, I’d recommend buying a spa vacuum with an extendable arm. You can purchase them from Amazon and we’ve had customers who use them say that they are super helpful if your swim spa is installed in a place where leaves and debris are commonly getting into your water.

If you have any questions about your warranty, you can find a copy of your warranty on our website. (Click “Resources” in the top right corner, scroll down to “Warranties”, then select “Swim Spas” at the bottom. From there you can select the warranty that applies to your product.)

You can also contact our corporate Customer Service team by emailing customerservice@masterspas.com or calling (800) 860-7727 during business hours if you have any other questions. Thank you for the feedback, Ken.

We NEED our hot tub! Husband has spinal injuries from auto accident, I have back injuries from lifting people at work. We have owned hot tubs at last 4 homes- 1 VitaSpa followed by 3 different models of Hot Spring spas. When researching latest and greatest tech in hot tubs, Master Spas was top of the list for therapeutic features (magnetic pain relief, targeted jets) as well as construction quality. The nearest store was Southeast Spas, I called to ask about availability and was told orders were running a year out due to pandemic delays. We were happy with our Hot Springs spas, so I contacted a dealership for them- same answer, a year for an order to be received. The pandemic not only delayed construction because of factory closings, but materials were also an issue.

Just about convinced we would HAVE to wait a year, I saw an online ad for a National Hot Tub Expo here in Ocala, FL. I called the phone listed to inquire about brands of tubs, was DELIGHTED to learn it was Master Spas! I spoke with Troy ** when I called, he was nice enough to find out what models would be at the show. He called back and told me a Twilight 7.2 and an 8.2 would be available, and I immediately responded "I WANT THE 7.2, no questions, I've DONE my research".

Understanding our physical need for the tub, Troy agreed to meet us at the Expo, we signed the contract Friday afternoon, understanding the tub would be delivered after the conclusion of the show. We got the delivery notice the NEXT DAY, and the tub was delivered by Ian and Robert (2 VERY professional gentlemen) they did an AMAZING job manipulating our tub between tight spaces to get it onto the concrete pad in the backyard. They even gave us instruction for moving the tub into its final position! The day after the Hot Tub Expo ended I received another phone call from Southeast Spas to inform me if I was still in the market a few hot tubs were still available. Our experience so far has been very professional, with excellent follow-up on our inquiries, and fast, efficient sales and delivery experience. We can hardly wait for the concrete pad to cure so our new hot tub can be placed and connected- stay tuned for product satisfaction review!

We purchased our Master Spa from a spa show in Reno, NV on Feb 4, 2021. Our salesman, Cary, was great and very thorough in answering our questions. We were told of a delivery time to be between 6 and 8 weeks. I called, after not hearing of anything, on March 30 to check on delivery. I explained that our placement site was ready in which they replied they did not yet have an estimate on delivery as it was still in production and waiting to be assigned a serial number. I agreed and accepted to wait.

I called back on April 7 hoping for a better expectation than the last. But was again given the same answer. About a week later I was called and told that my spa was nearing the end of production and they wanted to confirm my site was ready. I confirmed and advised I had given the go ahead a few weeks prior but understand things get missed and thanked for calling.

On April 27 after still no word of delivery. I called in and spoke with a gentleman, who was more than condescending and rude. He advised salesmen tend to lie and he doesn't know why they told me 6-8 weeks as it can take up to 40 plus weeks and I need to be patient. Also if I can understand then I should check the fine print on the back of my contract as they state delivery times are not guaranteed. I disconnected the call.

He called me back to advise we had been disconnected and to finish what he was saying when I let him know that I work in customer service and would be fired if I spoke to someone the way he spoke to me. I also let him know that a simple "I'm sorry for the miscommunication and understand it's taking longer than expected." Would have been fine. WE ARE IN A PANDEMIC and I do understand everything is behind schedule and at high demand. We then hung up. He called me back about 10 minutes later to apologize. I assume the call was recorded and maybe he was reprimanded. I did not call again to check on delivery.

I received a call from the delivery driver on May 12 to advise of delivery that following Sunday, May 16. The delivery driver showed up on time and was friendly. He stated the spa steps, that I paid for and should have been delivered that day, were not sent and that he was told they would be sent to me via UPS. After no package or word, I called Master Spa customer service on May 18 hoping for a UPS tracking number for the steps. It was at that point I was told that the delivery drivers have been directed to say that and really they aren't sending them. (Who tells their employees to lie?) The agent went on to say they stopped production on all spa steps and instead are offering a $50 Refund.... I asked for a supervisor and never received a return call.

Spa steps are much more expensive than $50 for anything of quality. Plus it was not written how much of my overall cost that I spent on the spa was for steps, but I assume more than that!! Also, had I not called to get the UPS tracking number, I never would have received my steps and would assume they never would have called to notify me and to provide a discount. Overall the service, or lack of, we received from Master Spas customer service was more than poor and we are highly dissatisfied. There was zero communication on their end. All we can hope is the spa is worth it!

As for the stairs, due to supply chain issues we've seen major delays in getting them out to customers. Because of this, your retailer has stopped ordering them for the time being. The $50 offered is not necessarily a credit for the cost of the stairs as they are included in your purchase, but when they decided to stop ordering the stairs they felt it would be better to offer $50 than nothing at all.

Your retailer's Head of Customer Service will be reaching out to you soon and I'll also send you a private message with his contact information so you can reach out to him if needed. Thank you again for the honest feedback.

We didn't know about Master Spas till we went to a show that was up in Washington where we ended up buying one. I saw the ad for the show on the phone. We were looking for a spa and we looked at a couple others. We would pursue one of those swim spas and I thought, “Well, if we went up there to the show, they probably have some, and we'd have an idea of what they're like and what they run, the price and all this and that." We went up there, and I didn't realize that it was just Master Spas they were all saying, which was fine.

They have a few different features to them, but there were different models. When we went back, we did a little reading up on Master Spas. We were very impressed with the attitude and the priorities that the company has in terms of supporting Christian schools. We were very pleased that God had brought us up there, because not only was the spa impressive, but doing business with a company like that is always desirable from our point of view.

The one we ended up with was a Clarity Balance 9. When we first bought it, it took a couple of weeks before they scheduled delivery and got it set up. We also had to go South for a family thing and then we had to get the electrical ran and all of the things that we had to do to hook one up. When I opened it up and was able to see inside there, I was impressed with the two big motors and the size of the plumbing. It's a quality unit made well. Our need for it is for my wife because she does all her Pilates and all her exercises in the water. She needed a bigger spa than normal because she's kicking and doing all those kinds of stuff. That was what caught her eye with this one. Plus, we’ve got nine grandkids, so they can all go in there at the same time.

Also, Master Spas has that Eco Filter on them, which is a real added feature. With what my wife and I understood though, the salesman represented it a little bit as, “You don't have to do that kind of stuff that you had to do with other spas.” In reality, it's not a whole lot different. You still have to balance your water, check the spa, take care of it, and change your filters. We just ordered some more filters, so we have those. My wife had another spa before and it’s what we used to do. When you take them out, you'd have to let the bigger one dry and we wanted to have that to replace it. We've got a couple of backups now, so we're ready to do that. We've had the spa functioning for two months now. We also bought a couple of other little things for it like the step and the handrail, which have all been put on. It’s doing a good job for my wife. She is the one who uses the spa and she hasn't used it a whole lot, but she’s really enjoying it.

I like that there's a swim spa part and a spa part, and I use it for medical rehab. It's good for me to do water aerobics and swimming. And temperatures can range from 80 all the way up to 99 degrees on the swim spa side, so I could use it year-round. The only thing was the delay in getting the spa. I understand that it's due to COVID and also due to raw material shortage. It took me six months from date of purchase to receive the spa. I was told that there was a COVID outbreak at the manufacturing plant, so it couldn't be helped. But it would be nicer if it was a quicker turnaround.

I went to Hot Tub University and I did a ton of research. The tub's craftsmanship, durability, and quality led me up to buying the TS 8.2 that would serve my family well. Yesterday, I was in the hot tub, and there was moisture getting in where the control panels are and some dark spots like mold or fungus in there. Then the light where one of the water comes out is bent left and right and I didn't notice it. I don't want to try to twist and break it. I would appreciate if someone could follow up on me on those two items. But other than that, it's quality.

The Twilight is the right size for my family of four and it has lots of jets. It also has a lounge seat, durability, and has heat retention. From what I read, it has a low record of needing service and it's overall highly reviewed, from the research I did. When I bought it, I inquired through a web form and a rep called me right before I was about to drive up to Connecticut to go up to a sales show. He told me not to go because by the time I'd get up there, they were likely to be all sold.

In my experience, hot tubs are very hard to get because they're all very popular and on backorder. And it would take six to eight months in most cases with the different brands I talked to. And this representative from the main store out of Philly who called me said to let him call the sales show. And he called the guy running the show in Connecticut and connected us. He said he had that model there and he agreed to hold it for me. Then, I spoke to him and it all worked out well. I ended up buying the tub that way and organizing delivery. The sales representative was very helpful for that and the hot tub was delivered fairly quickly.

I called up again a little later to ask about chemicals and about a little hot tub 101, and the rep was helpful with that as well. I had one issue where the tub came without one jet, so I asked him to send me a new one and he sent me a couple, which was good. Otherwise, I haven't needed service and the tub runs pretty well. The design is comfortable and the jets are powerful. They're versatile and you can switch them around so that all the power of the jets go to any one of the five different areas.

The salesperson from Master Spas was outstanding and the rest of the team were fine. It was difficult getting the spa because of backlog. It was from August to March. But with that exception, they've been very good. Casey, our salesperson, was exceptionally knowledgeable and the transaction was easily completed. We had trouble with the delivery because of bad weather and things of that nature preventing us from getting here. But once it was scheduled and came in, it was done right on time and very professionally. I've offered Casey, our salesperson, if he wanted to come over. We're proud of the environment that we've built around the spa and have a neat video that we could share. But we want to share it privately with them of the crane taking the tub over the top of the house when it was installed. It was fun. We use the tub often. So, it's been all good. The quality of the tub has been super and we enjoy it.

One of the local community centers did a show and one of Master Spas' local warehouses set up a display there. We checked it out and they didn't have the one we wanted, so they were willing to give us the next one up. It's just that on the one handrail, the chrome didn't adhere properly so it's starting to peel. My wife has been working with somebody on the customer service side. They want us to take a picture. The knee-jerk reaction was as well, with chemicals and all that stuff happens and it rusts. But we could see that this isn't from that. It's a minor defect, the chrome didn’t stick right to the metal. But then it's a solid cost product. So far, we're happy with the value for it.

If you're somebody that enjoys water and water activity, this is it. My wife has fibromyalgia so it's good for her muscle pains. She can't do workouts or exercises because of the weight and it tires muscles out too much and this takes the weight off of her body so that she can do that. Also, we're both about a year past gastric sleeve, so we eat much healthier by nature and we need some exercise. Owning and running a company keeps us very busy and we don't have time for gym memberships. This is the perfect thing for us. We've talked and compared it to what gym memberships and stuff would be. It's above the ability of most people to throw that in their budget and have it. But we were blessed to do that and it's a nice piece of equipment.

They just left the chemicals and they said that I got to do things in order. It was all very hurried. A little leave-behind page, leaflet, or reference would be useful, something separate from what's in the spa manual. It's not necessarily easy to decipher, sometimes. But then I'm quite satisfied with the spa features.

Purchased the cover in July 2020. Material around the handles on both side of the spa cover are torn as the stitching is not of enough quality to support the weight of the cover. Sent pictures to the owner of the store I purchased it through as he said that was the best way to work it if I was trying to file a warranty claim. Noah ** from Master Spas wrote back and stated that the damage was from “improper use”. What’s improper about lifting a spa cover by the handles to open it and enjoy your spa? If they didn’t want you to use the handles they shouldn’t have stitched them into the cover. To top it off, I paid over $600 for it and the cover lasted less than 9 months. I have purchased previous covers online for around $250 with free shipping and had years of quality use out of them. I now know where not to look for replacement covers. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Master Spas!

    Response from Master Spas

Hi Derek. We're sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the quality of your cover. The reason our team cited improper use was because of the location of the tearing shown in the images. The pictures show tearing at the seam, some above the handles and some on the underside of the cover by the skirt. These types of tears typically indicate that the cover skirt is being used to lift the spa cover instead of the handles. We understand your frustration, but looking at the pictures of the damage it does seem to line up with what we see when covers are lifted by the skirt.

We have limited space in our home and so we worked on a certain size to fit in our house. Then they were supposed to call us in December. That's when our hot tub was due. We didn't end up getting it for a month later. We called them and they said that it had been sitting there and that they tried to call us. But neither my husband nor I received any phone calls or messages, so that was incorrect. We had to keep contacting them to get our hot tub.

When they brought the hot tub, the cover was wrong so my husband gave them that cover back and they said that they would return the correct one in a week. We didn't get the correct cover for three weeks and I had to call them again to get that. Then when they brought the right one, it was damaged. So I've had a damaged cover with a dent and a hole on the inside, and they said that they're going to swap it out this Friday. But we're happy with the actual hot tub. It's good for body aches and relaxation.

I do all of my own diagnostics and repairs so I know what to look for. We selected the Clarity 7 spa which is a 6 person spa with two 5 horse power pumps.

The shell of the spa is is very thick and should be even stronger than our old 20 year unit. The internal control unit is the Balboa unit made in USA which is a quality system. We clean the water out and it would work for a week, and the bees would come back.

We paid a lot more money for the tub than what we could have paid from what we saw from other tubs. But that's because it is a high quality tub. We could have paid $10,000 and we probably could have went as low as $7,000 for other tubs. But the biggest thing was the horsepower. We were looking for the jets. This thing has two 7 horse pumps.
