Hot tub is working great and use it quite a bit. Sales guy emailed me and text me everyday when I was close to purchase, which I appreciate given he is in sales but haven’t heard a word since I bought the tub which given I spent 20k I think an email or text on how things were going with the new equipment would have been appreciated. Anyways no big deal but won't be coming back to buy equipment or chemicals and all it would have taken was a quick text

Parts keep coming off let keep blinking and app getting disconnected. Jets have to be turned on one at the time to get powerful jet. Designed for tall persons so my head do not reach the pillow and the lounge is too large as well and there is no local support in my area. Salesperson told me if I need any service or question we have to call and pay to get service.

Our local store was knowledgeable and very informative. They answered all of our (maybe silly) questions. They were kind and patient as we made our selections and have been there to offer additional support after the sale and install of our spa.

The sales department was extremely professional. The delivery was beyond exceptional! We have used our hot tub almost everyday since it was delivered. Previous to our purchase at Master Spas we looked at cheaper models. I’m glad we opted for a quality hot tub.

You have very poor customer service. It took forever to get my tub and then I got the wrong one. It took awhile to get the right one. I've had service guys to fix it twice now and experience the same stuff again. I enjoy my hot tub when it's working but I do not like your company. I would love my money.

The quality of the Master Spa that I bought is great. When I purchased it, before it arrived, their customer service was great, too. But after it arrived, it went downhill. They cost me an additional $1700 in electrical work. When I pre-planned this whole deal, I had a concrete slab board, I had electrical lines run 'cause I wanted a clean look.
I asked them to send me their schematics and their drawings so that my contractors would know what to do, where to stop the lines. What they sent me is what I gave to my contractor but what they sent me was not correct. I had to have the contractor come back out.
I also bought this extra Wi-Fi Gecko thing that allows you to control the spa from your app or from your phone. Still, to this day, it's not working. They sent me something last week. I've got to call my cable company or my internet company, and see if they can help fix it.
Then the communication with the store that I bought it from was not very great. I ended up calling the Katy store and getting good communication from them. I worked with a guy named John and he's been great. But they called me last week 'cause they wanna make it right. But they didn’t want to give me a refund for the second filter set that I bought. But they offered to give me a set of filters, or some chemicals.
These aren't little hot tubs. For me, this is a $70,000 purchase, 50 grand for the spa itself, and then I spent another $20,000 on concrete, electrical, all this other stuff. If you spent that kind of money, things should have gone a lot better and a lot smoother.

I was looking for a swim spa and went with Master Spas. So far, it's going good. I like the swimming feature in place. The spa doesn't come with any more on Bluetooth, so they gave a radio instead.

When we set up the purchase, the rep at Master Spas was lovely. The installers were awesome as well. It was a 95-degree day, and it was so hot, but they were quick and did everything wonderfully. They were still positive even in that crazy heat.

I went to the pool and spa show in Glens Falls. I walked in, saw what I liked, and it took about just three minutes for me to decide to buy from Master Spas. They had great guys who did the delivery. They did a great job in record time. They delivered it by trailer and unloaded it, placed it in place, and set it all up ready to go. We had the pad put down and pay for it separately. The spa has smart features. It’s got the rowing feature. It's got all sorts of goodies, and I love it all. If anyone asks, I'd tell them Master Spas have great people and I had a very smooth transition.

Master Spas had a few options that I could add that I thought would make it an okay tub. I also didn't like any small company all the way. I went with Master Spas and they installed a 7-foot therapy tub. The service was good and I like that I have the tub in the backyard.

I went to a civic center where Master Spas was having a hot tub show. When we went in, we saw the unit we decided on. I have one issue with it, though. Overall, I like it. The one thing that is odd is how the floor on the bottoms are rough. One of the steps is not smooth. Also, the padded steps that they put on top of it won't stick because somebody screwed up when they were manufacturing and made that one step rough. All the others are smooth on both sides, and that one isn't. So, I thought quality control should have picked up on that.

We have enjoyed our Master Spas Swim Spa Challenger 15D for the most part. It is functional and overall works well. There seems to be a few minor design flaws - touch screen does not work well when hands are wet (it is a pool - hands are always wet!) And I seem to have handles and jets rusting with a stream running down staining the side of the spa after only having it 4 months. I have no idea why this is happening. Low quality parts? Not sure. I am still learning how to use many aspects of it and am probably barely scratching the surface of functions it has, and feel like I am starting to get the water chemistry down. The kids love to play and splash. I love to swim. It works well for swim training. We do love it so far.

There was no manual provided with the spa right off the bat or installation instructions. As such, I built the deck specific for it, including locating the electrical source with the only knowledge of what location the plug in was (I was told that by the delivery personnel). I then compounded that problem by locating the control panel, which is small and not easy to read, on the back side of the deck because I didn't know that the plug in was as long as it is, so our guests have to read the panel upside down. Three times now, our guests have put the tub to sleep accidentally. Your online manual tells how to put to sleep but not how to start it again. We had to go to Reddit to find out. I do not like your product and would never buy again from your dealer. I never write criticism, but my anger is just too much.

Very disappointed with literally zero communication after the sale; it’s as you saying ok we made the sale, close the books and move on…. I’ve worked sales all my life as a Realtor, and always continued to follow up with my clients after the sale to find how things were going, if there was anything additional I could do for them, and always ask if I could be of any assistance with their family and friends.
A large part of my business was built on referrals, and by always keeping in touch with my past clients I always had a abundance of new clients from referrals; I was given referrals by my past clients because they knew I cared so much about them by following up that they trusted me that I do the same for their family and friends in looking out in their best interest and not just there to make the sale and never here from me again. That’s what I now feel about the sales staff at Master Spas who initially helped us out during the sale, then only to go silent after the sale with zero communication.
It’s really hurts Master Spas for I’ve been asked many times who we bought our hot tub from, if I would recommend who we bought our hot tub from, are we happy who we bought our hot tub from .... and we replied back to all those questions with an astounding NO…. Master Spas and those who made the initial sales LOSS for their line of referrals from us stopped at the point of sale with absolute zero communication from them after the sale…
Just saying from a person who worked as a Realtor much of their life working smarter not harder by simply keeping touch with my clients, showing them I really truly cared about them, and for that the referrals from them kept coming my way; a simple practice you all should start doing, but perhaps your just satisfied by spending gobs of money advertising, working harder, and wondering and hoping when and where your next sale is coming from. Yes, disappointed in your zero communication after the sale of our hot tub, but really and truly it’s Master Spas and their sales staff's loss not ours….

Worst purchase of my life. They delivered it damaged and said they would contact us to repair it. Never heard from them again. They promised it took little to no maintenance and that was a lie. The amount of lies we were told in order for us to purchase their top model is more than upsetting. I would not do business with them and am now out over $16000 and have to deal with this horrifically ugly thing sitting at my house, sucking down electricity.

Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever seen. They dropped our hot tub from a truck on delivery, totally incompetent. There were scars and damage from the drop that they acknowledged on the delivery paperwork. They said they'd fix it, but 10 months in, they've done nothing. I call weekly, they say they will respond within 24 hours and never call. $25,000. They are horrible. If you buy from them, you're as stupid as I am. Bad, bad, bad company.

I purchased my tub less that a year ago and granted we do love it and use it often there are a few issues with it, first off less than a month the control panel went out. They sent a service guy out and it took over 5 weeks to get it repaired, second we have had to purchase multiple massaging foot jet replacements due to the cheap plastic cracking and breaking off so when you put the jets on it floats to the top and then there is no power to the other just 'cause of the large gaping whole that the jet left open, I now purchase 2 jets at a time to keep one always available for replacements and that is a $97.00 cost that we accrue ever few months and the company has not been of any assistance in fixing or offering replacements for free or at a reduced rate. Not real happy but can't afford to replace the tub for a new one.

We purchased a swim spa two years ago, and the surface has developed serious cracks. It’s been eight weeks since we first contacted customer service, and we still haven’t received any real help. A technician came about a week after our initial call and took photos. Since then, we’ve made multiple follow-up calls, but all we get is voicemail and no callbacks. On July 28th, I was told the issue isn’t covered under warranty—but whether it is or not, what matters most is getting support to fix the problem. The cracks are getting worse every day due to sun and heat exposure. We’ve asked repeatedly for guidance on how to repair the damage and prevent it from happening again, but no one has helped. Every time we call, we’re transferred to a technician who never responds.

My wife she saw an advertisement on Facebook about the expo where we learned about Master Spas. We purchased from them October of last year and the process was very easy. Set-up and delivery were very easy as well, and so far, we like our spa. We've used it a lot and the quality is good. It's easy to use and I don't have any complaints about it at all.

I like the size of the spa. The only thing is that I don't like the buttons that you push. But we like the spa. The size was the key because we had to bring it in to a room and had to go through our doors. So, that's why we like the size that we got. I love the quality. I use it every day. I have fibromyalgia and it's very soothing on my body.

My mom had Master Spas for several years and she had no problems. So, it’s better to stick with what works, and I got my spa from them as well. It fits six people comfortably. It has lots of great jets. It's a good spa. We got it from Spas and More! in St. Louis, and their customer service has always been great. Overall, it's a great product and easy maintenance. They're a little pricier but sometimes price comes with quality.

Master Spas was running a lot of YouTube ads for an event they were having near where I live and that led me to go to that event where I bought stuff from them. Everybody there was very helpful and to get the financing was real easy. The delivery and setup part were fantastic, and I was very impressed with the two guys who came out. I've told anybody who mentions they're thinking about getting a spa to come out and look at Master Spas. Also, I'm going to buy a sauna here, hopefully, in the next six months, and when I do that, I'll probably buy it through Master Spas as well.

Working with the team at Master Spas was quite frustrating. I ordered a swim spa, hot tub, and chiller, only to find out that the chiller was external to the unit after I'd redone the concrete in my backyard. It required additional costs for an air conditioner pad for the chiller. Furthermore, the spa arrived in December, and the initial fill with antifreeze caused cloudy water. It wasn't until much later that I discovered I needed to pump and refill the unit, costing me a significant amount in unnecessary chemicals.
After refilling, both the swim spa and the hot tub work great, with no issues. However, the initial lack of transparency and inadequate service were disappointing, drawing out the time before I could fully use the product to around four months. While I'm pleased with the product quality and would rate that a 5, dealing with the service and installation process was highly frustrating and would rate that much lower.
If you're considering Master Spas, I recommend the products but not the dealership where I purchased them. They dropped the ball on sharing essential setup information, which led to preventable headaches. Although I would recommend the spa itself, my experience with the purchase and setup process was an ordeal I'd prefer others to avoid.

My husband and I decided to buy a hot tub from Master Spas. My husband first spotted their advertisement promoting a spa sale, which appealed to us. We chose Master Spas because their model offered a variety of jet options that interested us more than other brands we had considered. Another deciding factor was the convenience of having a local dealer nearby. If we encounter any issues, we can easily go to Kansas City to have assistance at the local store.
We're pleased with the hot tub's quality so far, and it has been an enjoyable experience for our household. My husband mainly handles maintenance and chemical balance, and he hasn't had any notable issues yet. Overall, we are satisfied with our purchase of the hot tub from Master Spas.

I purchased an eight-person spa from Master Spas, which is designed in a white and brown color scheme. Functionally, the spa performs well and serves its purpose. At the time, I found added value, as I was undergoing physical therapy, and the spa proved helpful in alleviating soreness despite my swimming pool offering a better recovery.
Overall, I've found the purchase beneficial.

Your recent "upgrade" to the Control my Spa APP was terrible! The older version was much better and I cannot fathom why you haven't decided to either back out, or fix this new APP. Backing out would be an update to the existing.
Greg- Master Spas does not use the "Control My Spa" App - that is a balboa wifi app system that would not work with any system we place in our spas. If using a Balboa Wifi control we would support the BWA app only with modules sold from a Master Spa vendor. It’s difficult to maintain a good chemical balance. Requires much more chemicals and maintenance than our previous spa did. But overall we enjoy using it. Jets could be more powerful. Appearance wise it looks very nice and the color options were great. Easy to open and closer cover.

When we went to purchase our Spa in 2022 everything was great! However as soon as we signed the papers they let us know there was a 12-16 week wait for the Spa to be delivered. When we were unhappy with this and tried to cancel the contract (we were still in the store, ink not dry on the paper) they said too bad, you will forfeit the deposit- which was already paid SECONDS before. We waited 16 weeks for the Spa, it was just dropped off in the yard, no set up or support.
We are now 3 years in, the neck pads fell off with in 3 weeks, the speakers/bluetooth sound system stopped working with in 6 months, the control pad "sticker" came off with in 2 years. The jets barely work, waterfall stopped working within a year, the jet things pop out all the time. And when we asked for help/guidance/support/warranty they passed us around like a cheap bottle of wine. Total waste of money and time- do not purchase from these people- go to a small company that wants your business and will support you when needed. Buying a hot tub was pretty monumental for our family- thanks for ruining the experience World of Spas!

I get in my hot tub as much as possible. It's one of my favorite man toys! I do wish there were more lights and a touch screen as the buttons are hard to push. Nonetheless, no complaints. Well worth it.

We have had nothing but problems with the side panels coming off of our Master Spas. The company is difficult to work with and wants to blame the problem on everything but their workmanship. We have had the panels repaired several times and they continue to pop out/off. Not acceptable for what you pay for a spa. The dealer in Rocklin, California is useless. You have to try and work through the company but they basically wash their hands of the issue and don't care if it is repaired correctly.

Our only regret is not buying our hot tub sooner. The staff at The Hot Tub Store have made our experience even better with their support in learning how to best care for our spa and teaching us how to keep chemicals balanced with ease. I bought an H2X 15D Trainer from a distributor in Calif. The unit was competitively priced, and it has many attractive features. When the spa is clean and working, it’s great and we enjoy the ability to get our exercise. But the experience has not met expectations. The wait time to receive it was forecast at 4 months, but took longer than 5 months to receive. When the delivery came, the crew did not know which end the electrical should be close to, so it got placed backwards by the crane and they had to make a run for more electrical cable to finish the installation, but they did get it done. After they were done, I found assembly flaws that were reported such as loose screws that fell out or were not tightened. The orientation and training were minimal and not enough information was shared. No manual was delivered at time of install, I had to ask for that from the dealer, who sent me a link, no paper copy. A paper copy was requested.
The installation crew informed me that they did not have all the chemicals required to be provided in the starter kit. They said they would tell the distributor sales rep. I never heard that from the sales rep, and after sending three reminders and me reporting to them what was delivered, I still have not received the missing items. I did get shock packs, Chlorine floaters and Chlorine refills, but the Test Strips, Spa Up, Spa Down, Metal Gone, or Calcium Booster that is to be included have never been provided. There are no great instructions on maintenance or how to leave you spa for a week without maintenance. I’m not sure the filters operate to specification and have asked for help with that.
The dealer is always quick to point out that the warranty does not include the 3 hours travel time to my house. That fact gets used as an excuse to avoid having to come out and assist with issues. As a result of poor support, I have had two expensive Algae problems costing me $1200 to correct. As far as support goes, the dealer is not responsive, and even when they do respond, they don’t follow through. Overall, I don’t feel I got the value that was offered, especially with the support.

We purchased our hot tub 3 years ago. We purchased after we tested just about every type. It was definitely the best fit for us. Our concern was the service as the store is 6-7 hours away. So far we have needed minimal support but the Master Spas' people have been terrific to deal with. They also have regular sales that we use to stock up on supplies!

I attended a home and garden show where I discovered Master Spas. Their promotional sales booth piqued my interest, leading me to conduct some research on their products right there. Admittedly, I can't recall the exact model I chose, but it's a six-person spa featuring built-in lounge seats with massaging jets. The size was a perfect fit for us, fitting plenty of space for a small group, and the diverse jet settings were appealing.
The spa has three different jet settings, with both upper and lower jets, allowing for a comfortable lounging experience rather than just sitting upright. Both my wife and I work physically demanding outdoor jobs, and having the ability to relax in our spa by the end of the day has truly transformed our evening routine. It improved our sleep and alleviated morning soreness since we started using it.
Additionally, the upkeep of the spa is straightforward thanks to its premier filtration system. There's not much maintenance required beyond maintaining chemical balance, and the variety of color light options adds a pleasant touch. I tried Master Spas, hoping for a seamless experience, but it turned out to be more complex than initially communicated by their team. During the purchase, I was informed that only a scoop of chlorine each week would suffice for maintenance. However, it became apparent that I needed additional chemicals to prevent the water from turning green. The information given initially was not transparent, leading to unexpected additional costs for maintenance chemicals. Despite this, the product itself is working well, and I thoroughly enjoy it. I would rate the product a solid 5, although the customer service experience dampens the overall rating to a 4.

Our experience with their customer service has been quite positive. They were helpful when we called with questions, and they were quick to respond when a part broke during the installation. Fortunately, they came out and fixed it right away.
As for the installation itself, it could have been handled better. I ended up doing at least half of it myself. The delivery guys were nice enough, but the process would have been smoother if they were better prepared.
Currently, we're enjoying the spa, and everything seems to be running smoothly. Overall, I'd give my experience a 4-star.

I went to a hot tub exposition held at the Saint Charles Convention Center where I was introduced to a local store in Saint Louis showcasing hot tubs. I ended up purchasing a Clarity model from Master Spas, and the setup and delivery were seamless; the two installation guys did a commendable job leveling the hot tub and explaining everything thoroughly. I really appreciate several aspects of the model I purchased, including its quiet operation and sturdy design. There's virtually no vibration, which means you can comfortably place a drink on the surface without it moving around. We haven't owned it for too long, but so far, we’re having a great experience and seize every opportunity to enjoy it.

My husband said that we were a little misled by Master Spas because it was a clearance model for the year. They said there was a new model year coming out, but they told us that this spa really was kind of self-sufficient and didn't really need any chemicals. But when they came and installed it, the guys that installed it said they love when salespeople tell people that because it absolutely needs to be shocked, and I'm constantly balancing the chlorine and the pH and the alkaline. But they had said that this particular spa, you didn't need to do that with. He said that that wasn't unusual for people who've been misled from a show. Other than that, we've had a good experience with Master Spas. I still have the phone number of the specialist that installed it for us, and if we text him any questions, he's quick to respond. It's been a positive experience. We would buy another one.

I selected an 8-person spa from Master Spas, partly due to a special deal available that day. This feature alongside the spacious seating was appealing, especially since it included numerous jets, regardless of not recalling the exact count.
Quality-wise, I'm quite satisfied overall. The spa operates efficiently and meets expectations, though the button to activate the jets can be a bit stubborn, requiring more force than preferred.

The customer service provided by Master Spas was exceptional; they ensured everything was handled efficiently. The spa installation went smoothly, handled by another company that took care of all wiring to meet code standards, leaving it looking great.
However, there was a bit of a hiccup on my side. I was unaware that I needed to level the hot tub myself. I only discovered this necessity after filling it up. Eventually, I drained the spa and with a friend's assistance, leveled it by putting blocks underneath the outer edge.
Overall, my experience with Master Spas was very satisfying, and I am happy to share my experience here.

I got a six-person spa from Master Spas. They delivered it and then I hired the electrician to pre-wire everything. The electrician actually hooked it up as well. Right now, it's got some sort of leak where we can't keep water in it. So, in the time that we've owned it for the past six months now, we have used it very sparingly. The leak is an ongoing issue. They've been out and told me I overfilled it. That they took some water out and it did not solve the problem. But now, when we turned it on, it just spews water out the bottom. So, they have been called. They called back and said, “We'll get somebody out to take a look at it.” But the tub itself is fine.

I chose Master Spas, and overall, everything went well with my purchase. The process of getting in touch with them regarding maintenance and other matters has been smooth. One thing worth noting was the installation, which wasn't quite as expected. The delivery was made by two guys with a trailer, and since it was the largest spa model they offer, both my wife and I had to assist them in getting it off the trailer and into place. It seemed a bit challenging, and I felt they might have struggled without our help, though they assured us they could manage.

So far, my experience with Master Spas has been quite easy and fulfilling. My husband, who has a labor-intensive job, finds relief from his arthritis pain on his shoulders, back, and ankles after a long day at work, which is quite beneficial.
The spa we chose is comfortable for around 6 to 7 people. It has about five jets, along with a special seat that provides more targeted massage jets for the back, legs, and calves. There are also a couple of waterfall features, which adds a relaxing element. Keeping the spa clean has been surprisingly simple; adding a shock treatment each time we use it has dramatically helped maintain cleanliness without much hassle.
I would suggest to friends and family to consider getting one—it's really brought joy to both my husband and me. Interestingly, my close friends independently purchased the same model, and they love it too. It's been a delightful addition to our lives.

The hot tub seems to be of high quality. However, I seldom use it, maybe every two or three weeks. My primary concern is maintenance, which is more than I anticipated. It involves frequent chemical checks, washing the filters, and changing the water—tasks which I didn't anticipate to be as involved as they are.
Having owned a pool in the past, I find the maintenance to be on a similar level, though initially, I envisioned the experience to be as carefree as those I've had with hot tubs on vacation. Unfortunately, those maintenance tasks add another thing I need to handle, making me reconsider its value from a long-term investment perspective. While I commend the product's quality, if I had to choose again, I'm uncertain if I'd make the same decision.

We purchased a Chilly GOAT Cold Plunge from World of Spas in December 2023. Sales and delivery were great, but customer service since then has been a nightmare. The unit froze just a few months in. The chiller was replaced but still didn’t work — turned out to be just a fuse. The following winter it froze again. We were told it was fine this winter because it was just a few last and this time the compressor and UV light both burst. We were quoted $2,600 and told parts would arrive in 2–4 weeks.
Four weeks went by with no updates. After chasing them down, we found out they ordered the wrong part. A contractor (not even a World of Spas employee) went out of his way to fix things. Drove three hours and picked up the right part over the weekend. Somehow he was able to get it so quick while the actual company ignored us. Even then the service guy after taking $2600 did not check to see if the machine was running. It’s not he also left parts of the old unit inside the machine behind the siding inserts.
We still have a leaking UV light housing and no working unit. Also tried to say it may be my alternator. It’s not I know what an alternator looks like and there’s nowhere near the leaking part. No one returns calls. Voicemail is full. Emails are ignored. Terrible service after the sale. I’ve called multiple days. Left messages at the front desk at this point. I just want to know if they have a part in store so I can get it and install it myself cause I know they won’t. I just want my machine running.

My husband and I purchased a Master Spas Twilight 6.2 in 2021. I had researched reviews and it seemed that most people had good things to say about the product. I was very interested in protecting our investment as it is an expensive hot tub, so I read and followed all the guidelines of maintenance and care. Within two months, jets started to break. The foot jet at this point has broken 8-9 times. We have had trouble with the electrical (though in fairness that may have been the fault of the electrician, though that is the only issue that wasn't a result of the poor quality of this product). We have had to have the touch panel replaced as it stopped working. And now less than four years later, it is leaking from the bottom. The warranties are very short for much of the product and it would seem because it is poorly made. I cannot in good conscience recommend this product and deeply regret having purchased it.

First of all let me start by saying, buying our tub from Master Spas is one of the bigger mistakes we have made. From the time we left the display showroom until today, it's been one issue after another. They DO NOT stand by their products. We have had our tub 18 months and have already been through one control panel and less than 8 months later the second control panel doesn't work properly. Calling Master Spas and speaking with their customer service people is like calling someone who you are bothering. Just to schedule a service appointment cost you $250 upfront for a part that still hasn't worked well since we had the tub installed back last November. Again the item is under warranty, BUT it's not under their service warranty? Sounds shady to me. One would think a company would stand by their products less than two years old.
Second tubs only work with their filters, most tubs use universal filters. Their filters cost more than the market standard. It was amazing the customer service we received when we were in the sales room. This place is like a used car dealership that when you leave the lot you become a "Who are you?" when you have a problem. If you are looking for a Tub try Great Escape, you might have better luck.
We regret you had such a poor experience with your spa. It sounds like your warranty service may have been covered for parts and labor, however your travel fee from your servicer may not have been covered? This is outlined in your limited warrantee in the back of your owner's manual. We've been looking for a hot tub, so we went up to the KCI Spa Expo and got a pretty good deal on Master Spas. It's got 15 to 20 jets, and you can seat six people in it, if you wanted to. The whole family loves it. Most of them have been here and seen it. They all like coming over and getting in it, so it's been a good experience.
It's top of the line, and it's done us great. It's been almost a year, and we haven't had problems. But it takes a lot of work. We're learning it, figuring out how to keep it level and all that.

I got a five-seater at Master Spas. It's got 48 jets and lights. We saw it in an expo in the Ozarks.They did a good job in the installation, and I had no problems.But their representative wasn't 100% truthful. There was something that wasn't right, but I don’t remember.

We went to a hot tub expo and Master Spas was there. Then, we purchased a hot tub. It was delivered on November 20th. Setup was fine. The installers drop it off and then they had to come back. They did not get the cover right. Then, it has had some jet issues, like coming loose and falling off their sockets. It is my understanding that everything is under warranty for five years. It costed a lot, and I hope that it was a good value.

I had the best experience. My spa is wonderful!! I suffer from migraines and this has definitely help. I wouldn’t change this for anything! I enjoy swimming or just relaxing in the spa. There are many days I am in the spa. My son who doesn’t like water has enjoyed go in there.

Apparently overfilling the spa caused a failure of the ozone generator. The check valve in the ozone outlet tube did not function properly, allowing the generator to flood and fail. There is no maximum fill line on the spa and the manual did not specify a maximum fill level. The spa was down and sub-zero weather was rapidly approaching. The local service agent was not available for two weeks but the dealer quickly found another service rep much closer to me. It was promptly repaired and all has been good since then. The spa is very good and I love the foot jets for hydrotherapy.
The only improvement to the spa I would like would be to allow diversion of flow from the 6 hp pump to one foot jet only. That would be truly therapeutic for very stiff lower body muscles, especially in rehabilitation form accidents and/or joint replacement surgery. If you could made that upgrade kit for my spa I would buy it. I would have given 5 stars if not for the ozone generator failure.

Not exactly a luxury spa - very glaring design errors.
1. The biggest issue we have is that all the headrests, dials, etc. have all bleached from the chlorine. This happened within the first month (it looked like a 10 year old spa by the end of month 1).
2. The speaker/sound system is lousy and a real after thought. The separate remote is clumsy. It should have been built into the spa controls. And the sound quality is not great. You are far better off just getting a regular waterproof speaker off of Amazon.
3. The WiFI module is a complete rip off and not worth its money. Again it is a separate module, but all it allows you to do is see the current temp and change the temp manually. How hard would it be to have some advanced features like saving you money by being able to put it in vacation mode. It didn't have the ability to add schedules originally, but it is there now. It is a pretty clunky app.
4. We have the 8' by 9' model and the pumps are no where near strong enough. Turning on certain jets means others lose way too much power in other jets. We got the larger tub so we could have lots of people over, but when we do, not everyone can have their jets on.
5. The design of the outer sides of the tub is incredibly poor. The PVC is warping. And they didn't make it easy at all to access the pump and electrical for servicing, etc. I have to completely unbolt the lid bracket from the tub to be able to take off the side of the tub. And the corner pieces don't fit back together neatly. And all of it is warping.
I would not recommend this manufacturer and certainly won't ever buy another one.

I've been having several problems with my tub from its delivery. Have made multiple attempts to get them resolved but I've been pushed off and none of the issues have yet to be addressed, fixed, or replaced. Lights in the tub won't come on. A valve is cracked and is leaking. The yellow filter insert was broken by the installer and never replaced.

We bought the Phelps 8'x8' spa for a whopping $17,000. The plastic chrome around the jets is a cheap product that has corrosion issues. We reached out to the local dealer where purchased and it was an argument from the start. They did send new jets BUT I have to pay someone to install them. Considering the price, the product and support has been disappointing. Would I recommend to my golf pals, NO.

The servicer might not have explained Jets are one of the only parts of your warranty that doesn't cover service since jets are simply pop in and pop out and are simple for any owner to do! About 40 days into ownership the water stropped being filtered and then on May 23 the pump stopped working. Three weeks out and I still cannot get someone to come and repair the spa. The dealer is hard to reach, they seldom return calls, you have to be lucky to get someone to pick up the phone when you call. It has been a very bad experience with the product and the support service.

I have owned a number of different spas and I have to say that my Master Spa (twilight series) is by far the best. It targets all the areas of the body depending on what seat you choose. The jets are very powerful and you have the ability to adjust to your liking. I highly recommend!

If I could rate this zero stars it would still be too many. I have had NOTHING but issues with the payments being processed on the billing side, the installers said everything should be fine but it continues to blow the fuses... Just issues.

We had a wonderful sales lady in the beginning. She helped us pick a hot tub that we really wanted. The problem came after that. We had to keep calling after the weeks passed when the hot tub should have been delivered. We then got the wrong hot tub delivered that looked nothing like the show room. We were told there is nothing they can do. It's the new model and we should be grateful. Then we didn't get all the filters and chemicals for it because it was the new version. We called and they said they will ship them. It's been 5 months and still nothing. We are not happy with how anything was handled. So it changed our view of Master Spas.

Master Spas had some kind of open house sale at a city near me. They showed their various models in the category I was looking at. The sales reps were Informational. They're pleasant and took the time to deal with us. I didn't feel any pressure. I was very comfortable with them. I like the product, so I ended up buying one. The published pricing was quite a bit more than what we paid.
The spa has 2 pumps. It's supposed to hold seven people. I think four or five would be the limit to be comfortable unless you have a bunch of kids in there. It's well-constructed. It was installed last October. Even with many days of very cold temperatures, running the pumps a couple hours a day kept it hot all the time. I never got in and had to wait for it to heat up. It doesn't run that much, and it's very well insulated. And I was worried about pipes freezing and all that because it sits outside. It's right out my back door. But I have no issues.

We looked at a couple of different brands and did some price checks. For the tub we got from Master Spas, we made a good choice. Everything went smoothly. We like our tub and we enjoy everything about it. The major thing is feeling relaxed and getting the opportunity to use it. I keep it at a little bit cooler temperature, so we could sit in it longer because we don’t wanna be getting lightheaded from the heat.

My experience with Master Spas was uneventful. It was a referral from a friend. We did the purchasing on the phone. I had already picked out what I wanted. They came out and delivered it and got everything in place. We set it up on our own. The sales representative had given us the specs for the electricity, and then he just went over the steps of what I needed to do.
I’m in it almost every day. There are different degrees of jets. Some of them are therapeutic. The quality is good. It’s a little bit higher price than you see other spas, but you get more for the price that you’re paying.

Everything was great with Master Spa except for their third party that they used to finance it. So, I refinanced our spa right away, but we paid it off. Then the third party financing company sent us a bill for a few cents with added interest to it. It was a scam to me, so I reported that to Master Spa because they need to know who they're doing business with, and what they're exposing their customers to. Once they turn over the financing part to them, they're out of the loop on the payment part.
There was an issue on the breaker connecting the spa. We talked to someone at Master Spa who helped us troubleshoot that. We replaced the breaker and that solved our issue. Our spa worked wonderfully after that. We use it frequently, and its turbo jet feature is great.

I was a little disappointed with the competency of Master Spa’s delivery team and service technician. There was a LED light that went out on it. The service technician that came out and serviced it left some of his own tools at my place. When he reinstalled one of the side panels, he put it on crooked, and left one screw out. That is just poor workmanship. However, the product continues to meet my expectations. It hasn't had any breakdowns.

The customer service at Master Spas is excellent. My favorite feature of the spa is the mineral portion of the water. It’s not chlorine.

The delivery guys were perfect. I couldn’t have been happier, especially as late as it was and with the fact that it was raining. They still got here, pushed the hot tub over to our backyard, and set it up. They stayed positive, explained everything clearly, and got us set up. Since we had never owned one before, we were kind of clueless at first, but they kind of lined me out on what needed to be done and all that jazz.

The company did very well with the delivery of our tub. I was so excited. When they delivered it and took our old tub away, they discovered that the old pad had been damaged by vermin. With that, we had to pour a new pad, and that was recently completed. We had to wait another five days before we can put water in our tub. I’m happy, but I haven’t been able to do anything with it beyond that because we’ve waited for a good pad. We didn’t want to break the tub by not having it well-supported.
The spa is shaped in a way that I actually fit. In other spas, I have to find a place to hang on or I have to wear a weight belt in it so I don't float away. With this, I have a place to ground myself and everybody else has a place for themselves. It has jets above the water line that shoots down on to my shoulders. I’m really happy that I just bragged about it.

I purchased Clarity 8 from Master Spas, and I’ve had it since December. The setup was good. I didn't receive a lot of training on how to take care of it, because they said that's what the paperwork was for, but they did run through some basics. I’ve never had a hot tub or a pool, so getting the chemicals right is a little tricky, but I think I got it down now, and I’ve been using the tub. It was tripping breakers and the outdoor disconnect breaker for the hot tub, and I couldn't figure out why. So, they had me do some troubleshooting on my own by taking the cover off, unplugging, and resetting a couple of different things. It has tripped the breaker three times over the past six months. So, I had to put one of those floating temperature sensors in it that connects to my phone, so in the wintertime, I would be checking it all the time to make sure it was on ‘cause I didn't want it to freeze up. And it felt like overpaid for it ‘cause I thought I was buying a USA-made tub, but the motor is made in China, and the panel is made in Mexico, so I was very disappointed in that. But it’s a nice-looking tub, and it functions as it should.

I bought a spa from Master Spas that was on sale. It seats five, it has lights and two pumps. It also has a fountain, which I don't ever understand why there is a need for a fountain. But overall, I've never had any issues with it.
The interesting part was the installation. They did a fine job installing, but when they went to hook up the electrical, they stripped out a screw. I fixed it since I'm a service technician, so it was no big deal. But their installers weren't extremely experienced. They did a fine job setting it. Everything looks perfect as far as it being square and sitting on my pad right. But a little disappointed in their abilities. I had to help them a couple times.
Another thing is about the steps that come with the spa. I've got a two-step entry into the spa that sits outside the spa so you can get into it. They're plastic and heavy-duty but they didn't have the color that I ordered. So they sent a different color just so that I would have the steps to use. And I've called them back a couple times about getting the steps that I wanted and I haven't got them yet. They kind of blew me off on that. Aside from that, it works fine.

We went to the show and looked at them. They looked like they were they were well. I then purchased a hot tub from Master Spas. The guys came up and did what they had to do and they took care of everything. The quality of the product is good. We got the lift bar for the cover, but they put it on a little crooked. I’m a perfectionist, and when I see stuff like that, it drives me nuts.
It is still functional and it works, but they could have done a little better job lining it up and straightening it out before they screwed it in. Still, the lift bars are nice and easy. Even my wife would go out there and never have to wrestle with the cover. Overall, it is good. knew somebody who was looking for one, and I would tell them to definitely give them a look.

I chose Master Spas because the dealer is close to my house, and they're extremely reputable. I knew they wouldn't sell me something that wasn't good. We got it in November and love it. We use it almost every night. They have fantastic customer service. The delivery guys had to bring the spa down a hill because it’s outside my walk-out basement. Those guys were great.
One time, I had the screen go dark for a little while, and the pump stayed on. A guy came out and reprogrammed it, and everything's been fine ever since. I've already recommended Master Spas to other people.

I was just looking for a cover for my hot tub. Master Spas had a small blowout sale, so we walked in. I liked what I saw, so we ended buying a hot tub that day. Even though it was on sale, it wasn't as cheap as I expected. But it’s fine. It’s got lights and twin jets. I like the temperature setting because it’s stays steadier than my old one. The control panel is more accurate as well.
The only problem we had is with their finance company. They were saying that my credit wouldn’t go through. I had very good credit. Right in front of them, I applied for a Mastercard and got a $20,000 Mastercard. I showed them there was nothing wrong with my credit. But it didn’t matter. In the end, I had to do all the financing myself.

We were researching to see which kind of swim spa we wanted to invest in, and we went with Master Spas because of the Michael Phelps brand. To get everything set up, they were very responsive when we needed anything, and there were clear communications. We love the quality of the tub, and its ability to torque that up is wonderful.
We use it twice a week on average. But, I would love to say I use it every single day and a couple of times on the weekends as that would be ideal. We have had a couple of people over to the house, and they have been very impressed and they may invest in one as well. Overall, it is an absolutely great product to have.

I have had it now for 2 months. The jets and feel is what I had expected. Master Spas service reps were available for questions on start-up, and the delivery team was also very helpful. Two issues. They did not make sure they had a cover in stock even though it was on hold for 6 months, and they forgot to include the WIFI which I am still waiting to receive. Overall I still think it is a great tub.

Corporate was helpful except depending on who I spoke to received different answers in troubleshooting the spa. Not even 90 days after delivery the heating unit went out and was charged for the electrician to come out even though it was an electrical problem. David’s Home Entertainment delivery and support was awful. After about 9 months I am finally enjoying my spa.

I was concerned when I first got the spa and filled it with water. The next morning my entire new floor was covered with water. Apparently one of the pump seals had broken. It was very difficult for the service man (from a different state) to swap out the pump. (Case #**). A good improvement that I suggested is that they make the spa more repair friendly. The service man was very good and said that in his entire career this was the first time he had ever seen this issue. After the fix which was totally covered by Master Spas, the spa has been awesome! Absolutely love all of the features. I'm very glad that I went with Master Spas. They stood behind their product 100%!

While I love this spa that I only bought a few months ago, I was shocked to find out that the warranty can't be passed on to the next owner of our house. I was putting our vacation rental house on the real estate market and my realtor thought it would be a good investment for me to buy the new spa rather fix the existing spa and give a credit to the next owner for a new spa. Boy was she wrong, because the potential new owner of this vacation rental who we are now in escrow with will not be able to have a warranty on what is essentially a brand new spa. I mean, even Home Depot extends their appliance warranties to the new owners of a house. I am extremely unhappy and feel like a paid a fortune for nothing. I should have bought a hot tub from Costco or fixed the old one and given her a credit.

I've had my Twilight spa for over 5 years. Not one year has gone by without at least two repairs!!! At present the ozonator isn't working, $700!, and it has yet another leak! Every repair is in excess of $300.00!! It's a piece of junk!!?

My experience with Master Spas has been great. Their equipment works perfect, the quality is good and the price is within range of everybody else. We contacted their team a couple of times and they took care of everything very quickly.

We love our Master Spas hot tub, and we use it almost every day. We went to one of those hot tub expos and purchased the Getaway Harbor series. It took a while to get our hot tub in, but when they scheduled delivery, they brought it right out within a week and the people that set it up were very helpful. It’s great quality and just as good as any hot tub we’ve ever been in.

I went with Master Spas because of Michael Phelps. Getting the spa installed and set up went well. It didn’t work when I first got it, so they had to replace some boards. Overall, the experience was fine.

Master Spas is top-rated. I've researched spas. On my last 20 years of my life, I've had four of them. And every time I move, I get a new one because I have to have them for my back. And I basically live in them. The issue is I've had different brands and I've always upgraded each time to a little bit better quality. The issue with this one is not the quality of the tub itself. It was the dealership that sold it and delivered it and is now not fixing it.
The spa was delivered and damaged during delivery. The shell was broken and there's about a three-inch gash out of it, and it needs to be mended so it doesn't get worse. It's also right in the front where you open the top. I've been reaching out to the owner and the people at the place, but they eventually just stopped calling me back.
There's a warranty on the shell for 10 years but I don't know if it covers this kind of issue. I wasn't going to involve the manufacturer because it's not a manufacturer's defect. I still use it because there's nothing wrong with the tub.
During delivery, they installed a top and I chose to have a lift. I don't want my wife throwing this thing on the ground or me dropping it because it’s a bit heavy. But the lift was put on all funny because now, when you lift it up, it's like a half lift. You lift it over and then it slides up. It doesn't end up going upright off to the back. It doesn't go all the way back off the tubbing, so it's kind of like a canopy almost. It sticks over the top of the bars that hold the thing.
I tried to get them to address that but they haven't done that either. The other thing is they installed the little hooks for the locks on the top that hold it down for wind and for kids. They installed those improperly so that one side would latch, but I couldn't latch the other side because they were too far over to one side.
I ended up redoing that myself because I asked them if they would do that and I gave up on that. I ended up moving the holes and drilling new holes and moving the latches on that thing on myself.
These are the things that were happening and has nothing to do specifically with Master Spas. It's the way I got it and the little issues I've had since then. Master Spas is not overpriced and they have a good site.
I can't get the dealership to do what they should do and I'm not sure if Master Spas has any kind of ability to talk to dealerships that sell their products. I'm going to continue working on the dealership and see if I get my things remedied. If I can't, I'll reach out to Master Spa and see what they can do.

I wanted to get another spa, and I went with the Twilight from Master Spa. It's a good deal for the money. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but it had the seating arrangements I wanted. I like that it could fit six people. I like the high quality, the horsepower of the pumps and the positioning of the seats. I like the reclining seat and the fact that you can lie down. I am more relaxed.

We purchased a hot tub through Master Spas. They have features that we liked on their units. I like the chemical system that they have since it's super easy to maintain. During the installation, they took care of everything. We told them where we wanted it. We knew they weren't going to do the connections so we had our electrician get all that sorted out before the installation. We knew what to expect. Their team responded any time I reached out. I used their website to order additional filters.
Having Master Spas is a great investment. We've enjoyed it. It's been almost a year, and we love it still.

I determined that Master Spas was right for me after I did due diligence. That it was a certain size was a factor, as were functionality, durability, efficiency and the price point. A lot of tubs out there have various price points.
I’m very satisfied with the spa itself. As a brand-new, first-time owner of a hot tub, though, it was trial and error for me, and I made some mistakes. They just showed up to deliver it, handed me a box with the starter set of chemicals and left.
Master Spas dealers could do a better job providing guidance, like a handout, on initial filling and chemistry setup. I found the website helpful. There’s good information there, but I had issues in the first few months I ran it. Where I got educated mostly from on water chemistry was neighbors who also own tubs longer than I.

Delivery and setup are for the most part are handled strictly by a dealership/retailer, and while sometimes those businesses can include a service demonstration or a site visit with a purchase, it can sometimes vary what they can include with the contract. I’ve owned a Master Spa for about a year, and the quality has been really good. I haven’t had any issues so far. Before deciding, we looked at just about every other company out there, and what really stood out to us was the jet placement, the quality of the pumps being used, and the controls. My favorite features are the foot jet and the waterfalls, and it’s got all the lights on as well.
The Master Spas team members were really helpful and answered all my questions. The guys who installed it did fine. I hooked our electricity to it, but they handled all the setup.

I bought a Twilight 7 Series hot tub from Master Spas. The delivery and setup were great. We’ve had it for about two months now, and I’m sleeping better after using it because it helps with my body aches and pains. The quality of the Master Spas tub is very good. The only thing is there’s one little lever that we turn in both directions, and it doesn’t really seem to do anything.

I was just shopping and walked into a store. They were selling Master Spas and we liked what they had. It was similar in style to what we were getting rid of. We’d had ours for like 15 years, so we went with that one.
The company was fantastic to work with and did everything just like they said they would. They delivered it quickly and set it up. They did everything like you’d hope they would.

Great customer service before and after the sale! We love our new swim spa. Delivery people give you a short "dry" training with the chemicals and once it's installed and water is in spa, they come out and teach you how to add chemicals.

My next-door neighbor got Master Spas, and he liked it. I went for a six-man basic model, and I liked it. Their team was great, and Casey was good. He came through with everything I asked him to. The product seems to be sturdy, and I haven’t had any problems with chemical mixing or getting algae. It’s cut and dry, and easy. I use it four times a week, and I like the jets where it just goes from your tailbone up to your shoulders. You can get as basic a model or as expensive a model as you want, but it seems that they are put together well and they are reliable.

I read a number of articles online, sort of appraising what to look for, different kinds, different brands, and pros and cons. And then I decided Master Spas would be my best choice for what I was looking for. They were well-rated, and their repair record has been good, with not so many proprietary parts that always end up being a lot more expensive. So, I chose the Twilight Series 7.25 because it looked like it had the best combination of size that I was looking for and number of jets. It holds 300 gallons, and it has a bunch of jets.
We use the spa probably every other day, and the quality seems good and solid. It is said to be a five or six-person spa, but you’d have to know the other people well to get six people in there. There would be a lot of overlap. You can easily get four in there, and five would be crowded.

We originally purchased a Master Spas around 2021 and had it for two years. Then we purchased another after selling our house, which included the spa. We found them through advertising, as we looked at several different spa manufacturers.
We ended up with a lemon this time, it never ran. Between weather delays and other issues, we never got it working. They replaced the motherboard, but it still didn’t run, and it also had a leak. I spoke with the manager, and he was responsive and kept trying to fix it. Eventually, we said we needed a new spa and to start over, and he agreed. We had a great experience with that.

The salesman was easy to get ahold of, quick to answer my questions and came back with anything I needed. I like the set-up of the Master Spas Twilight spa. The biggest thing is the layout of it. It's got a lounger and it's got three other seats. One seat has more massagers on it, a couple other seats have more direct pressure jets, and then another seat with more massaging jets. I haven't had any problems, and I've been very happy with it.

We’ve been enjoying our Master Spas four to five nights a week, and so far, it’s been great. It works really well and it's very comfortable. When I was making my choice, I really honed in on the amount of jets it had. I just loved how many there were.
I actually chose the Twilight series 8.25 because it suited the size needs I was looking for. I had done my research beforehand and found that Master Spas was the most reliable and long-lasting brand I could find.

MasterSpas Clarity 9 has been a great addition to our home and our lifestyle and we’re very happy with our purchase. We wanted something that friends and family would be able to enjoy when we had them over. We have two sides of jets, two zones, one side of the hot tub to have the jets on, and the other side may be off, or both on. The control panel is easy to use, so we like that. We didn't want anything too complicated or with too many bells and whistles, and it’s a straightforward hot tub. We've had it for six months and it's been working wonderfully, so the quality is great. And for the price point and the size, it just matched what we're looking for.

The employee Cari is very kind and considerate. The trip fee to cover warranty issues is exorbitant and probably ends up covering parts and labor that are supposedly “free”. I am highly disappointed and will make sure to let friends know of the fine print.

Connor was awesome. We were very indecisive on the model we wanted but he helped us get to a decision by being patient and providing the technical details. Delivery was the next day and all went smoothly. Spa is not yet hooked up until we can get an electrician.

I thought they should get everything set up for you. It was our mistake for not having them to do so before we paid for it. It was tough getting the chemicals balanced. Therefore, some of this was our mistake.

Missed delivery dates, poor communication, poor customer service, didn't deliver everything that was included in the order, thus making me drive to a location to pick up the missing parts. Didn't show up with the proper tools to complete the install and had to barrow them from us. I will not be purchasing from them again, nor recommending them to friends or family.

Though we as a manufacturer do not play a hand in delivery and installation, we care about the impression you gather when becoming a new owner. We went to Master Spas to check it out and we liked it. We chose what we thought would fit us but we didn’t want that lounge part in it. We want to be able to sit up in all of them and not take one whole side of it with the lounge part. It was a good fit for us.
We like the lighting in it and that it’s smooth inside. Our last one was like a rough, wrinkly, crinkly finish on it. They also told us it had the white foam insulation because the mice really tunneled in our old one that had the yellow foam insulation. They said the white is better because the yellow is sweet, the white is not supposed to attract mice.

I liked the experience buying Master Spas from the hot tub show and I liked the fact that it had a warranty on it. The salesperson had one of her own, she was very nice, and the installation process was fine. I love the jets, just being able to come home, flip it on and relax, and the convenience of it is what I like the most. My brother ended up getting one that’s a little bit bigger than ours.
I had a couple of issues with the tub that needed service. One, it was leaking, and then another time, it was cold, it wouldn't warm up and I didn't know anything about hot tubs, which is why I went and bought a Master spa. As nice as that Master spa was, the customer service was terrible and frustrating. They directed me to fill it, drain it, fill it, drain it. It was a lot of money with this whole filling it, draining it business and I had a lot of downtime with my hot tub. The technician who came out was a jerk, and he didn’t have good communication. He had me drain it, he came out and said we didn't need to be there while he did the repair. When we came home that night, there was one of those white scum sucker balls that you get from the pool store to specifically take the scum out of the water to keep it clean that was sitting on top of the hot tub, and it was shaped into the form that I could tell it had gotten stuck in a jet, so that’s what the problem was. That guy never followed up with me, and I hope to never have him at my house again. But the hot tub was on, and it was warm again, so everything was fine.

Master Spa’s Clarity seemed like a good fit. It seats five people and was on a super sale locally. We don’t have a lot of space on our lot so it’s not like we could do a pool, but my wife and I decided we wanted to do something fun for our family, so we put that on the back patio. We’ve just enjoyed it ever since. It’s coming up on one year next month and the quality seems good so far and has been what I expected. It’s worked well but I’m coming up on getting some new chemicals to add to it, so that will probably be my call to their customer service I’ll just buy it from the local shop from which I purchased the spa. As for their price, being mine was on sale, it wasn’t too bad. I know everything’s going up but for what was offered from Master Spa, it was very reasonable compared with other brands.

I have a Phelps spa from Master Spas. It was recommended by a part owner of the store that sells them, so I bought it. The place I bought it from did a very good job, and the guys that set it up did a very good job. I've had really no issues with it at all. It works great.
When one of the valves broke, I called and they were very helpful. They figured out which part I needed and sent it to me so I could replace it.
My whole life is centered around my kids and grandkids. I have 10 grandkids, four daughters, and my mom, and my house is where everybody comes. Even in the winter we keep the spa running, and the grandkids always want to get in the hot tub. It keeps my family close and together.

Master Spas was local so I drove by and I did some shopping between that and some other brands. And I liked all the features of the Master spa and their price. I found a manufacturing coupon for 1,000 so that sealed the deal. I got the 8 x 8 spa with the waterfall functions and the lounge seat in it. I’ve owned it for two years and I haven’t done anything but change the water and the filters.
The crew who installed it was great. Unfortunately, they moved from Toledo and they’re in Delta now, so it takes me a while to go get the chemicals and the filters. But I’m now on a filter program where they just mail me the filters every year, which is very convenient.
I use it once a week. With my back issues, I usually get in it before I go to bed and it helps me sleep. It makes me relax. I would tell others to buy one. You can’t beat the price. I’ve had zero maintenance except for filter changes. Everything works perfectly and I haven’t had problems. I know eventually the pumps could go bad and then I’d have to have somebody come out and service it and when that happens, I would know a little more.

I am having nothing but problems with my brand new Master Spas hot tub. I have one leak after another from pumps and hoses. WHAT A MAJOR LETDOWN!!!! I have only had my hot tub running for less than 3 months and have had to shut it down twice now due to leaks. This is really frustrating and I wish that I could just get my money back.

The Jacuzzi that I bought from Master Spas works well without any major issues and it doesn’t incur much cost, except for the plastic veneer finish outside. The screws tend to back out and fall off. Apart from that, it does what I need it to when I use it. Unfortunately, I didn't find myself using it as much as I thought I would, so I would probably not buy another one. Nevertheless, the setup and delivery were quick and easy. The team came in and handled everything efficiently since I had everything planned out for them.

I recently purchased a hot tub from Master Spas, and the experience was fantastic. My husband and I decided to visit the store after possibly seeing an advertisement for a sale. We were impressed by how the sales representative worked with our budget, showing extensive knowledge and friendliness, which led us to purchase the hot tub that very day. The delivery process was smooth and hassle-free.
In terms of quality, the hot tub has been performing excellently. We did experience a minor issue when one of the jets produced a whistling noise, but the issue resolved itself, and it has been functioning perfectly since then. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Master Spas, and I would definitely recommend them.

I bought a Twilight series corner spa in 2019. During the 3-year warranty period, I have replaced 3 touch control panels 1heater and 3-foot jet cones. Then May of 2024 I had to buy another touch control panel 275.00. Then in December 2024 just before Christmas that panel went out. They had to order another one it came the second week of January. I installed that one also. On February 23 - 2025 as I was servicing the spa and clean the filter the foot massage cone broke out again and had never been used. Because the other 2 had been used and did not last as long as this.
Here is the best for last when they delivered the spa to my residence and set it up it would not run at all. The owner of the dealer had to come out later that evening and replace the main motherboard to finally get it to work. So I would advise anyone looking at purchasing a Master Spa twilight series spa. Go Buy Something else!!!!

I first discovered Master Spas while researching spas online, comparing various brands and reviews. Master Spa had significantly positive reviews, which led me to choose them. We purchased the Harbor model and initially faced numerous issues; the spa seemed to be a lemon. The heater frequently malfunctioned despite following all maintenance guidelines, requiring multiple service visits. After many failed repairs, I opted to pay an additional $2000 for a replacement since prices had increased. Thankfully, the new spa has been functioning perfectly for over a year, confirming that the initial unit was problematic.
The spa features numerous jets and requires hardwiring, which meant hiring an electrician for installation. I appreciate the power of the jets in our current model. However, unlike the previous model, this spa doesn't maintain water heat when the jets are running, which I find inconvenient. The temperature can drop from 103 to 99 degrees, making it uncomfortable to stay in for long periods, especially in cold weather. While my husband doesn't mind since it prevents overheating when exiting, I preferred the previous model that maintained constant heat. Overall, I rate Master Spas a 4 out of 5 due to the initial troubles and the current spa's heating limitations. Nevertheless, the current spa has been reliable, and we use it frequently, especially in milder weather when the water temperature is easier to maintain.

I discovered Master Spas when I was in Effingham, Illinois. While staying overnight at a hotel, we passed by a Keller Center that was offering a free spa demo, so we decided to stop in. The salesperson gave us a really good deal, so we went ahead and purchased one.
The spa we got is quite large, measuring 13 feet by 8 feet, and features a never-ending swimming pool with jets. It was a previous year version, which is likely why it was discounted. Despite having some small scars and a few nicks and cuts, it runs well and the overall quality is satisfactory. In terms of features, it includes lighting.
Overall, I would rate my experience with Master Spa as a 4 out of 5. They are a good company, and I would recommend them to others.

We purchased a 15 ft swim spa from Master Spas. We were very impressed with both the quality of the spa and the customer service at the place where we purchased it, which I believe is called Healthy Pools and Spas. The swim spa comes equipped with multiple jets, a multiple speed pump for swimming against currents, and nice additional features like lights and a waterfall.
I must say, I've been very impressed with the overall quality, but I do wish the temperature could go up a bit higher, more like a regular hot tub since it maxes out at about 99 degrees. This would be ideal for my use, whereas my wife mainly wants it for water therapy. Overall, we are very satisfied with our purchase and would definitely recommend Master Spas to friends and family.

The delivery and setup with Master Spas were quite smooth, with no concerns arising during the process. So far, the quality has been good, and even my multiple teenagers find it easy to operate. We've had no major issues once the pH from our well water was balanced, making the operation straightforward.
I haven't had to call customer service so far. Regarding the cost, it was definitely on the higher end, but I wanted to shop locally and preferred to go with people I trust. Overall, I'd rate my experience as a 3 out of 5.

When we went to see a Master Spas spa display, they didn't have the one that we specifically wanted to look at. It was a small one and they'd rather not sell the smaller ones so I was disappointed there. I should have just left at that point but we went ahead and go with the bigger one. The way it was advertised, it was supposed to be good prices. But when I called a nearby company, it was the very same price. Plus, you got free chemicals, which I did not with Master Spas. I felt I was misled. But the people that brought the spa were good.
Sorry that you felt that way during your buying experience. Dealer's all independent businesses and get to set their own pricing and packages for sales. It sounds like you encountered two different dealerships. Master Spas' salespeople were great. They worked with me to find something that fit my budget. The value for the price that they offered was better than all the competition. The installation was real easy. They showed up with their truck, wheeled the tub around and asked me which direction I wanted everything facing and how I wanted the lid to open up. They were in and out within less than an hour. I got a five-person spa which has a max number of jets. It has several different seats that hit the different areas of your back and shoulders. It's got one lie-down seat, three regular seats, and the other is a full range. It's less recreational and more for back pain. They are expensive but I was willing to pay a little more for what I wanted and needed.
It's been a year and a half that I've had it, and I've really enjoyed it. I use it three or four nights a week most weeks, and I always feel great when I get out of it. It's been easy to maintain, which was one of my big worries as far as chemicals. The sales guy explained that it's simple to keep the pH and the chlorine. I've been very happy with the quality as well. I had one pretty serious issue last winter when we had that really cold spell in the negative temperatures for several days. We lost power for 12 hours so the hot tub was kicked off and some of the pipes in the front froze up. I called Master Spas, and they had a guy out the next morning. He was able to fix everything and leave before I even got home from work and had me up and running again.

I purchased a hot tub from Master Spas after my neighbor got one, and overall, I'm pleased with it. Although I don't remember the exact official name, the quality and features stand out, especially since all the jets work as advertised. I haven't encountered any issues with the product's quality.
However, I did notice some Styrofoam pieces on the floor of my patio, which might be due to hornets nesting underneath. I've taken off one panel but haven’t found their nest. I'm concerned about safely spraying underneath to deal with the hornets. I’m currently draining the water for another reason, but I'll need to follow up with Master Spas regarding this issue.

Making sure your spa is staying covered when not in use and taking off the panel and inspecting the foam for any burrow points are the right steps. You may need to take extra measures if the pests are strong in your area - you can always call us for mailing extra matching cabinet screws free of charge if you feel sealing off more access is necessary. Spraying preventive sprays or even leaving natural deterrents (mints, eucalyptus, tea tree) within the cabinet should be fine in most cases, follow instructions on the bottle to be safe.

I came across an advertisement in my local paper for a Master Spas dealership in my area, which piqued my interest. When I was using the Master Spas product, I enjoyed it immensely, primarily for swimming. It's my first time owning something like this, and I found it very reliable.
I chose the 15D model, which is just the right size for me, though it might be a bit snug for a larger family. I purchased it because I love swimming, and this spa allows me more time in the water. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I first heard about Master Spas through a Facebook post quite a while ago. I chose them because I found a floor model at a great price. The customer service has been amazing. Life's Great Spas, where I purchased the product, has been fantastic to deal with.
When it came to delivery, it was a bit nerve-wracking because it was pouring rain, and they had a hard time navigating the mud to get it off the truck and onto the deck I had built for it. However, they managed to get it done well.
Overall, I am extremely happy with the spa, though I've faced some minor issues with the end-to-end cover. The spa has been great even though I experienced a couple of leaks—one right after I got it and another this past fall. The first issue involved a leak over the motor, which led to the motor being replaced entirely. It wasn't even a conversation. They just did it and that was super impressive to me. The second time, a leak occurred from the other side, but the team was proactive and tried to trace it back because it was behind all the foam. It stopped leaking by itself. They left it open for observation and offered to come back if it started leaking again, but it didn't recur.
The responses were fantastic, and I can't complain. Overall, I would definitely rate Master Spas a 5.

I initially learned about Master Spas at an expo, which was advertised on a roadside sign. It was the only hot tub brand there, and I made a spontaneous decision to purchase because I'd wanted one for a while. The sales interaction was positive because everything seemed aligned to my expectations. What impressed me the most was the salesperson's willingness to negotiate. However, my experience with the product was quite disappointing. After it was delivered and filled, I discovered it was leaking, likely due to a crack that might have happened during delivery. I had it professionally hooked up, so the problem was clearly with the product itself.
Despite scheduling multiple service appointments—where I even had to take vacation days—they repeatedly rescheduled, causing a lot of frustration. Eventually, I requested them to take the product back and sought a refund as the situation was unacceptable, especially after spending almost $15,000 on the hot tub. It's unfortunate because I really liked the spa itself, but the experience was marred by these issues.

I have owned a Master Spa for the past 11 years and I am using my second spa from them. My experience has been largely positive with very few to no issues. Whenever I encountered minor issues, I directly contacted their repair person and found the support sufficient, without any complications. However, while I have had a satisfactory experience, I recommended the spa to my neighbor, who went on to experience persistent issues with her unit. Due to her negative experience, I am hesitant to recommend the company to others. Nevertheless, from my personal perspective, Master Spas has served me well.

Paradise Spas and Master Spas, whom I purchased my hot tub from, run a business scamming consumers of their services promised. The hot tubs are 'presented as premium' however they cannot meet basic conditions and break. And when it happens -- the services you are 'promised in your contract' do not happen. I'm considering suing these goons.

I wanted to update my review. I was contacted the day after my review by Anna B., a representative of MasterSpas. She was cordial and concerned about the problems we have been experiencing with our spa. Anna asked me some questions about our issues with the spa and gave detailed information regarding the continuous improvement that MasterSpas undertakes on a regular basis. She sent a video showing and describing the various revisions of the controller and how they are working to improve the design and lifetime of the unit.
We also discussed the foot jet and the updated designs as well as the reasons for the multiple failures we have experienced. In the end she sent us the latest version of the controller and several versions of the foot jet to try out. I installed the controller as soon as I received it and it is working well.
I'll be installing one of the foot jets this weekend. I am impressed by the customer service I received and what appears to be a genuine concern regarding our issues with the spa. I gave a 4 due to the issues we have repeatedly had, but the customer service is a definite 5! I really appreciate MasterSpas follow through and Anna's communication and helping us resolve our issue.

Absolutely the worst... Do not spend your money in this spa. Now on our 5th controller...just went bad again. The foot nozzle? Replaced 5 or 6 of them... Now I just pull the parts parts and epoxy them back together. Just don't move them and they'll last for 5 or 6 months. Spent $7k for a real lemon.

We ordered our Master Spas unit in Spring 2024, with an expected delivery date of mid summer 2024. Scheduling and delivery were exactly as expected. The installation crew was great to work with and very helpful in getting the spa set up and answering basic operational questions. By far, the best part of our Master Spa experience has been the installation crew.
The spa itself, however, has a few shortcomings. The side panels were cut short, and have shrunk with colder temperatures to where they will pop out of the corner trims that are supposed to secure them. In addition, they have warped some at the bottom, opening gaps into the interior of the spa assembly. I secured with several small stainless steel screws and will re-center the panels in the spring when the weather warms more. I also cleaned out a wasp nest that I found when I did the first quarterly water change - the wasp had access through the open gap and is what prompted me to investigate where and correct the issue.
What leads the most to the 3 stars is the absolute lack of follow up from Master Spas. There has been zero communication post delivery until this survey request over 5 months post delivery. No check in on operational questions, no offer to purchase spa service materials, and no question of satisfaction or needs until this survey.
The spa has operated as we've expected, and requires the routine maintenance we expected. The control panel has been a bit disappointing in how sensitive it is to water interfering with controls and needing to wipe off any droplets of water to control it. Underwater lighting would have nice to have a couple more fixtures but we can't complain as we saw the display model prior to purchasing. Finally, we changed out the lid lifter to a different model from a different company that allows the lid to fully open for full sky views - it would have been nice to have that option available from Master Spas to start. Time will tell on the operational parts of the spa - plumbing and pumps - and how they will survive our moderately heavy use.

So far so good. Replaced a few screws on the access panels. Replaced filters I bought from the dealer. No water issues. Our town water is well suited for hot tubs. High in calcium, no iron. I am an experienced CPO chemist. That helps.

When I purchased my spa from the company that sold me the spa, I told them it was going on a deck. When the people who delivered the spa did not realize it was going on a deck and we had an issue. There was corrected. It was not set up properly With the proper tutorial from the people who sold and came and installed. I went there, and the owner told me that, "We did all we could." He did not show much interest after me purchasing my spa. I will not be buying another spa from them. I need to now find another place for the swim spa I will be buying. Not sure if I will go with Master Spas. If I cannot find another dealer in my area. They were very disappointing and only was concerned with the purchase of my spa.

We love the size of our tub. We have found it doesn't hold heat well when using. 104 when we get in but after 20 minutes down to 101. Bummer! Our electric bill is about 50 to 75 a month. Chemicals are reasonable.
Hey Linda, Thanks for your review - just checking in - cold air exposure can cool down any body of water, during those 20 minutes are you maybe engaging your air controls? Air controls suck in air from the outside of the insulation to make extra bubbles in the spa. If it's really cold outside this can cool the spa off rather quickly! (think like blowing on hot coffee!). Try leaving your air controls closed and see if it helps you retain heat a little better?

Sales/Purchase: Sales people were friendly and accommodating. Setup at sales event was adequate but not great. Only one or two units filled and fully operational. As cold and windy as it was, they could have had a few more enclosure panels around the tent. Price of unit was not fantastic for a year end sale, but we needed a new tub so went ahead. We like the tub we bought. Only complaint so far is regarding the cover. It appears that the two edges of the cover that have the handles on them are beginning to develop a slight upward curve from laying completely flat on the edge of the tub. So far the "seal" of cover to tub is not broken when the cover is closed but may be if trend continues.
Also, the fabric is different than our last tub which had a vinyl cover. The fabric seems to allow more adhesion of snow/ice which makes clearing it of snow and ice more difficult. I also don't have quite as much confidence in the long term operation of the cover lifting unit as I did with our previous ground mounted one. Time will tell...
Installation: The installation crew was great!. They accommodated the minor impediments of getting to the back yard. Removed the old unit efficiently, allowed time for me to clean the patio under the spa footprint before setting the new one. The "presentation" of products was complete without being too long or pushy. The general instructions for use and care of the new unit were good and he answered all my questions. I like the fact that I was encouraged to video the presentation so I could refer to it in the future - nice touch. I am starting to make a list of random questions I have since using the spa and hope that Master Spas assistance will be equally good to my experience with sales and install.

I had no training on use or maintenance, as promised. I never got my steps fixed with the promised railing. Wrong ones sent. I never had pool school, as promised. No one would return my phone calls. After 4 months of not being able to use my spa at all and NO contact anyone with Master Spas in spite of daily messages, I found a local pool company to take care of the pool but I still don't know how to change temperatures or winterize or anything else! BIG Disappointment!

Great looking hot tub, and we have thoroughly enjoyed it for the 9 months we have owned our Twilight TS 8.25. Today, that all changed. Our computer screen (topside they call it) went out, and I have a full 5 year warranty (parts and labor). So I called Spas and More (the company that sells and services Master Spas and also the only company I was told I could use for repairs) to get it fixed and was informed of a $79 trip fee for any service call, even if item is defective. How exactly is this classified as a full parts and labor warranty if I am still going to be charged for a Manufacturer's defect?
So my first call ended with me being offered no alternative to the trip fee, so I ended the call. Minutes later a different employee called back and offered to send the new part to the store nearest me (45 minutes away) and said I could pick it up and fix it myself but it all should be done the same day as I needed to hand in my broken part upfront to get the new one to install myself and going longer without the computer installed risked further damage. After I said that didn't work for me as I am not certain I will be able to remove the part, take the 2 hour round trip and get the new one installed the same day around my existing work schedule I was then told they could just Fedex me the part with a return label for the faulty part. Why was I not told I could do this earlier? And why am I still having to do all of the labor that is covered by the warranty?
Always our first desire of course to always have a Master Spa Servicer on hand to fully diagnose and exchange the part for you in the case you need this type of work. As topsides can be an easier changeout, from the sounds of your description, the servicer was trying to work with you to accommodate around their trip policy while still staying on as your servicer and using a part they had in stock for speed for you. Again, we are sorry this didn't sound like it was fully explained to the best.
For the future knowledge - Master Spas factory customer support can always be contacted to work with you directly on filing your claim to send just the parts directly if you are ever believing a servicer isn't necessary, and/or walk you through smaller installs or even if you would like to pay for someone more local to service your spa. I purchased a Master Spas from Hot Tub and Swim Spas who is a distributor located in Minnesota. I purchased the spa six months ago, no issue with the spa other than Hot Tub and Swim Spas failed to tell me a certain type of breaker would not work with the spa. Unfortunately, this is the one that the electrician used. He had to come back out as the spa kept losing power. Luckily, he didn't charge me and the new breaker solved the issue.
The delivery person that Hot Tub and Swim Spas used scratched up my beautiful new concrete pad. There were scratches throughout the concrete that was just poured. Hot Tub and Swim washed their hands saying, "We didn't deliver it, the delivery person who we contracted with delivered it." I reached to the delivery person and he kept saying he was going to have someone repair the concrete but never did. I involved Hot Tub and Swim Spas but they were useless in getting the delivery person to pay.
Ultimately, I told Hot Tub and Swim Spas that, "I paid you not the delivery person. I have been going back and forth on this issue and still no reimbursement to pay the $1,100 to repair the concrete." I reached to Master Spas to see if they could step in to push Hot Tub and Swim Spas to reimburse me but so far no success. I would not recommend a Master Spas if you are buying from Hot Tub and Swim Spas whom is a major distributor of Master Spas and advertises all over the country at Expo Centers.

This Spa is not what it was made out to be. It replaced our Artesian Emerald Spa that had run its course after 17 years. We absolutely loved that spa with its jet power and foot well to help keep you in your seat when the jets were on full power with their 3 pumps, not the two that the 8.25 has. The 8.25 had neither! The cushions and the filter cover on the 8.25 had to be replaced this summer after only 1.5 years and are not covered under warranty. The sales company, Crocker Sales refused to allow the replacement without charging! There is also a discoloration happening in areas on the shell. The color is Sterling Silver. Again, something we never dealt with in the Artesian Emerald even with a light color shell as well.
The upgrades were the ABS Pan Bottom and the The QuietFlo Water Care System Circulation Pump which was standard in our Artesian Emerald! One of the valves also had to be replaced already which took two service calls to fix properly but we were still charged a service charge by Crocker Sales even though that was covered under warranty. We never had any of these issues with our old and first spa, the Artesian Emerald. We truly regret this $15,000 purchase and dealing with this company, Crocker Sales, who we did purchase the Artesian Emerald from but didn't really have to deal much with them on the service side because that spa never had the issues, especially this early into ownership, that the Master Spas Twilight 8.25 is having. This was a build order too, that we had to wait four months for. As a result, we would never recommend this spa outright to anyone.

I was looking to replace an old spa that I had, went to a spa show and found exactly what I was looking for. Salesperson was helpful and professional. Financing done right on the spot, smooth transaction and the company has followed through seamlessly with everything they said. Spa holds heat as there is snow sitting on top of it. Everything works great and this has been the easiest spa to keep clean. I really don’t have to do anything just add chemicals. I love it!!!

It took forever to get the spa, once here I couldn't get the filters in because there was glue dripped down the screw part. After numerous calls and being jacked around, They sent someone out, this took another 3 weeks, they tried to scrape out the glue but they don't screw in very well due to the damage and sometimes they pop out. My one large jet already broke and popped out. $90 part. The tub is a little over a year when that happened. Tub expensive for the quality. Not very happy with my tub. This is the 3 tub I have owned.

Please ponder this response with your quality control. With a new hot tub you should be covering EVERYTHING - PARTS & LABOR - at least for the first year. Disappointed in your confidence in the quality your product. Begins 10/23/2024 - I purchased the Master Spas Twilight Series hot tub November 4, 2023 from Phoenix Hot Tubs and SwimSpas. Two of the panels have pulled loose from the framework - front and right side facing. The channel is actually bent in at the top and out at the bottom. The plastic panels appear to be too short and do not interlock in the black plastic panel frame channel. The screws are broken or have pulled out of the wood frame that hold the panels secure.
I contacted your dealer, Phoenix Hot Tubs and SwimSpas, via E-mail and they never responded. I called the store and was told I’d have to pay a “trip fee” to have someone come out and put the screws back in or fix it myself. Great customer service don’t you think after spending $11,500? I can assure you that either the skirting channels or the skirting panels were incorrectly assembled or the panels are at least 1/2” to 3/4” too short. The bent channel is a good example that they are not correctly installed.
I fixed the skirting on the hot tub. 5 broken screws that allowed the skirt panels to warp and flare out of the channel - that’s on you! A small 1" #4 cheap screw won't hold it. If Master Spas used a quality screw like a #8 and it was 1 1/2" long that wouldn't happen and there wouldn’t be any warping. No doubt screws made in China! - Buy American.
In addition, the front panel was mounted 1/2" lower on the right side facing the tub. Poorly assembled. I leveled it and eliminated the gap at the right bottom. The plastic channel affixed to each side of the corner pieces of the hot tub are cheap plastic as well! An aluminum channel rather than plastic would solve that piece warping and not able to cover the ends of the skirting panels. OR add a 1/2 " to the width of the channel itself.
The skirting panels are about a 1/2" short on each end of the skirt. If they were an inch longer overall and better screws that would solve the warping problem and the plastic channel warping! I added small screws to the channel affixing it to the skirt panel to compensate for the short skirt panels to hold them in place and cover the gap. Take it for what it is worth from a last time Master Spa buyer!
The following is meant perhaps to help explain as best we possibly can, it is not meant as an excuse. As our hot tubs are exposed often to the elements, and can place in many different sites and setups all over the globe we do try to plan very far into the design. Your skirting is made of a strong but flexing Duramaster plastic material. Something that it does when exposed to shifts in extreme temperature is expand and contract. To plan ahead for this movement, we leave the skirting panel a 1/4 of inch gap on all sides to allow breathing space for the panel to move grow and/or shrink. Instead of grooves for your screws we have thick frames of wood so that adjustments can be made to accommodate moving the screws if the panel ever shifts dramatically. It sounds as if the screws pulled out after some contracting on your spa and needed a few new screws to be reaffixed. As you sound to have found an alternative of your own this may be moot - but Master Spas will always ship extra screws directly should you ever need.
We do carry parts and labor on many different categories of the warranty. Skirting happens to be one of the only categories we can always cover lifetime the parts on for, but do not cover labor rates. We do this simply because, we make the panel to be allowed to be removed and accessed at any time by you as a customer for your standard maintenance checks. We understand each case is different and try to make accommodations as often as we can in circumstances, but it is often assumed if we can provide parts adjustments can always be made without a service call. It is never our intent to add on frustrations with extra fees. Parts can always be shipped directly to you they do not need to go through a warranty service center if you do not choose to do so,
Service centers are independent businesses - they are not employees of Master Spas, and they may within any service call charge a travel fee if the deem it is necessary to get to you. Labor coverage would take place while on your site. Policies and rates can change servicer to servicer on this and these rates are not run through Master Spas at all.

This is my 3rd hot tub, so I am a seasoned hot tub owner. I am also a mechanical engineer and perform my own maintenance where feasible. Luckily my spa is new and has not had any major issues yet.
1. Master Spas salesmen are liars (to your face). The main reason I bought this master spa was because it was designed to take “significantly fewer chemicals”. The owner had a family member with sensitive skin, so it is designed to be low chlorine. “One teaspoon of chlorine every few weeks” is exactly what they told me. That is a lie! This one takes the same amount of chlorine & chemicals as my previous 2 hot tubs. If anything, the master spa is “harder to correct” when you have a bad water chemistry. Might as well drain it and start over, rather than fight the PH/alkalinity/harness.
2. Only 1 person in the whole state of AL is registered to work on master spas. You guessed it - that single person never returned my calls. When something major breaks (that I can’t fix), I guess I will sell this one at a loss.
3. You are forced to purchase spa filters through them. You guessed it - they overcharge. I spend about double what I spent on my last hot tub, (which had 2 pump filters), but this master spa only has 1 pump filter.
I understand you hype up some areas/marketing to try to sell a product. But a flat out lie to your face, limited/zero service repairmen, and expensive filters made for a bad experience with this brand. Do your research before buying!

You do have some different options for service in your state, we always recommend a good relationship with your dealer as they sold your spa locally, but the state of Alabama does have independent service options if you should ever need them. You are by no means required to purchase filters from one place, the Eco Pur type filter is a patented design that only MS servicers and dealerships do sell- we have them in showrooms, and servicers even that function online on sites like www.masterspasparts.com or www.masterspapartsonline.com. We understand the Eco Pur may not be for everyone- If you would like to revert to something you are more familiar our filters are made by the brand Pleatco and standard non-Eco Pur Versions in standard pool/spa filter sizes are available not only with MS dealers, but anywhere common pool supplies are sold such as Amazon! For instance, instead of a PMA- R3 and ECO PUR insert you can use a PWW35L - or "35 long" standard filter.

I was thinking about buying a spa and my friend told me to by a Master Spa TS series (I got the 6.2) as he said it was a REALLY GOOD therapeutic spa. I called Aqua Haven and The mgr Rocky agreed and even though I just said it was for my wife and l he told me to get the 5 person for more room. He was right and I just bought it over the phone and have been very happy ever since. They have been great on warranty jets and letting me know the maintenance procedures (add scale and clean the filters {I rotate 6 filters} once a week, drain and replace the water every 3 months {I use Oh Yuk 1st, then drain, use a filter on your hose to fill it up, and add Metal Protect}. I add Bromide and then the Frog system 1 Blue every 3 months and a Yellow every 1 month. I run it at 99 degrees and I run it 4 hours every morning and night.

Our Master Spa performs great. Very comfortable. It is a good size for what I'm gonna use it for. I liked the way the jets were set up. However, the place that the spa came from is the worst place to do business with. They don't have a store. It's weird. You have to call and make an appointment. However, they never return your phone call.
In a bad windstorm, my cover broke. I called them and left a message. They texted me back three weeks later. I explained to them what happened. They never responded again. I could not get in touch with them to get chemicals and to get anything. I'm still trying to get ahold of them to get filters. I've been going to another spa place that's here local to get everything I need for the Master Spa.
When I ordered it, they told me it would be there in 30 to 90 days. It was almost six or seven months later I got it. I put the platform down, and I asked them to contact me the day they were gonna deliver it so I could make sure I was there to show them. But they just dropped it and left, so I had to put it on PVC pipe and roll it around. Absolutely unprofessional and terrible to do business with. But the product is stellar. It's an amazing spa. Everything's good.

We looked at a few tubs and liked Master Spas over everything else. It was a better quality and the options were what we were looking for. Master Spas walked us through it. They showed up to the house and walked us through how to operate the tub. They gave us a bit of an orientation with chemicals when they came to set it up. However, once we decided to make the purchase and gave them a deposit, the response time was slow. I know they're busy. I had a problem with the cover, which I still have a problem with. That has been a non-issue for them.
At one point, Master Spas told me to send them a bunch of photos because the handle pulled off the cover. I did that, but never got any response. The covers are not warrantied by Master Spas. It's a $1,200 part. I felt slighted by that because we paid $27,000 for the pool and it came with it. I thought that that was part of the deal. So, if anything went wrong with the pool, warranty-wise, I don't hold out a lot of hope that I would get any backup. They could do better in that department. Otherwise, it was a painless process. I like the jetted end of the tub. When we bought the pool, I was in bad shape with arthritis. That is one of the reasons we purchased it. My wife uses it more for swimming and I use it more for relaxation. I can stretch in it well because I'm weightless. It has been great.

The Master Spas team was very good. In fact, we had a problem with the touch screen shortly a month after the tub was delivered and set up, and they came out and fixed it. It took a while to get the part in but once it did, they came and replaced the touch screen. We love the quality of the tub. But the design of the touch screen that is so close to the water is a poor design.

I looked up swim spas in Google and Master Spas was one of the companies that was listed. I went there and the sales manager who was the owner as well was most knowledgeable. He said they were the best and he proved it. Before him, I went to five different places. And by far, he was the most experienced. I was impressed. He compared and told me why they were better and I just bought from him. The quality of the swim spa is outstanding.
The dealer came out after the spa was installed and answered all my questions. And of all the people, they're the only dealer who came out for an hour and explained. He set everything up and I was impressed too with that. The references also said the same thing. It was not only his knowledge of Master Spas but of the competition and their weaknesses. Master Spas is not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. And it was true.
The energy-efficient smaller motor for a competitor had problems because it was running all the time. It was too small. And he said that the Master Spas motor is a big one but it’s a variable motor. So, it uses very little electricity at slow speeds. When it's pumping at full speed, it uses a lot more but the energy is just as good. It will last for 7 to 12 years. But I haven't had it for seven years yet. We use the swim spa once a day, all 12 months of the year, which is not typical. Most people don't go as far in December, but we do. So, we love it. My wife has a lot of aches and muscle tensions and the spa relaxes her. So, she loves it. And I love swimming. So, it's all good.

I found Master Spas at the Indiana Home Show a few years ago. I also talked to two other brands and I wasn't as impressed with their warranties. Master Spas really caught my attention because their manufacturing facility is just two hours from where I live. They could promise that if something happened, they could send a technician out to my house at no charge, whereas some of the others, if they send a technician out, they charge you by the mile that they have to drive. Also, Master Spas had a great overall warranty. I bought a hot tub from them originally and then a year later, I bought a swim spa.
My hot tub had a small issue about 11 months into having it. So I called them and their customer service was amazing. They were so quick to answer and help. It was just a very simple thing that we had to do. I was so happy and impressed with their response and support. My experience was so great that I convinced my parents and my in-laws to also buy a hot tub from them. It's a good product and they have a great warranty and customer service support to back it up.
The spa looks very high end. It also feels high end. It's comfortable. We've not had any issues with the digital screens. We did have a small fluke with the motherboard of the swim spa. But they came out very quickly and fixed it. From cleaning filters and adjusting filters, everything is very simple to use. Even my kids can get in and use it safely. My favorite product overall is the hot tub. I always want to be warm and it feels so relaxing. I bought the swim spa for my kids, not really for myself. The hot tub itself keeps it at a great adjustable temperature and the jets are awesome.

Filter screw-in thread was misaligned initially, so we could not install the filter at all and it took two months for the repair to happen. Additionally, within one year two of the valves were broken (stuck shut), three of the head pillows had broken and four plastic valve operators had broken.

Our hot tub and swim spa has brought so much enjoyment to our family. It is a must have. Our grandson has learned to swim in the swim spa and we often spend hours working out or relaxing in the swim spa. This is followed by relaxing in our hot tub as we watch the sun set. Any assistance we have needed with winterizing and other has been excellent.

Master Spas had a sale where they had a bunch of displays out. I had a hot tub beforehand and it was in the deck in the back. I had a problem with my old one and one of my main concerns with Master Spas was to make sure that somebody would be able to come and fix it when and if there are problems. I got a hot tub that holds six people, and the sale price was around eight grand. I paid a little extra so that one of the seats has more jets for the neck and that's normally where I sit. It was not a pressured sale and the reps were very good. They gave me the information I needed and I was able to obtain the financing right there. I haven't experienced all of the product services yet, but the quality of the hot tub is very good. All in all, I would tell people it was a good experience.

Panels all popped off the sides, jets no longer function correctly and are weak. I have a Hot Springs Spa at my vacation home and wish I had bought another instead of Master Spas. Dealer employees are rude but the guy that runs service is nice.

Our swim spa has had problems since delivery, and has been repaired twice so far. Leaks in plumbing, which has soaked the Wood framework and will surly reduce the units life. Exterior panels warping. Now I have heavy corrosion from the chrome nozzles and where the handles are welded together at the mounting points. The rust appears to have permanently stained the tub. There is a green stain from what appears to be copper residue coming from the chrome nozzles. The only pathetic response has been to wipe down and keep the ph higher, NEVER had such issues with hot tubs or swimming pools in my life. And the waxing suggestion is pure sophistry. So I would NOT recommend spending 40K with this brand to anybody. The service folks have been great, this poor quality is no reflection on them (Josh/Kim).

I went to Suntek Master Spas on Route 110, they have been there for many years. I thought having one of the owners Dylan guide us into purchasing one of the spas would’ve been a good experience.. Everything went well until after the purchase and delivery of the spa ..I made sure I had everything set up for the hot tub Electrical, etc. so when spa was delivered it could be set up for use! July 4th 2024 was a week away! Master Spa encourage us to follow the instructions and fill the hot tub with water and add the starting chemicals.. We spoke on the phone numerous times with their staff .. Numerous calls to the owner with no call back after the sale of such an expensive item!! No follow up call either!!
We wanted to use our hot tub for July 4th.. and they assured us and encourage us it was safe to use the Hot Tub.. until their men were coming to the house in 5 days after tub was delivered. After setting everything up per their instructions .. My husband and I went in the hot tub for one hour the next day.. The following day we went in for another hour again .. Well I wound up getting a rash on my abdomen and I went to urgent care ..and I got folliculitis.! had to be on antibiotics for over a week and was not able to use the hot tub until this cleared up and at this point I was afraid to use the hot tub, afraid for my grandkids.. to use. Master Spa finally sent someone to the home to drain the tub and redo the chemicals.. and I called them. Ask to speak with Dylan ..
This could have been avoided had they sent someone out in a timely fashion to go over everything with the hot tub.. Hearing that they give you a video to watch does not replace an individual coming to the home to go over everything, especially with such an expensive investment..!! So purchasing a hot tub has not been a good experience for me.. I have finally started to use the hot tub again with no issues.. but I had to chase down the owner Dylan of the company to address my issue and he was not empathetic..didn’t get the feeling he really cared..
So I am not satisfied with his untimely responses.. No responses for weeks until I tracked him down.. The other staff members at the location were very helpful.. Shame on The Owner, The Owner’s son Dylan at Suntek of Master Spa on Route 110.. I have lived on the island my entire life and knowing the company has been there for so many years, thought that that would’ve been the place to go for our hot tub! Shame on you!

I have disliked this spa from the time I received it. You can not swim against the current as the salesman stated. I should have moved on to a spa that had the river Jets as I had researched. But I went with the salesman that the round ones do just as well but they do not.
Sorry to hear that your spa is maybe not the right fit for you, if we can be of any assistance from the factory on operation or tips and tricks for the use of your spa please let us know! We recommend following up with your dealer and their policies on inquires for your unit out for perhaps a larger model if that is perhaps the route you may be considering.

The sales person was very friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy. Made it fun to buy and was very communicative when arranging delivery. Would highly recommend based on experience. We're also very helpful when getting replacement filters. Have always been greeted enthusiastic when visiting the shop both initial visit and after.

The panels on the side don’t fit properly and they have warped. The screws do not hold the panels in place. Additionally, the head rests do not last more than a year, and the cup holder and filter cover only lasted two years. There is a need to continually order replacement parts.
Hello Jon, sorry to hear that is happening - the vinyl on pillows and filter lids can break down with time and chemical wear, our guide in your owner's manual may have some quick tips to help? Often long term or chemical exposure to chlorine gas can cause some deterioration. If it can be of any help - they can be fully removed from the spa for long periods if the spa will not be used and rinsing them off periodically with untreated water, like from a hose or faucet to remove chemical residue can help preserve their lifetime .
