We really liked Master Spas' price for the amount of amenities. We had looked at Bullfrog Spas and a couple of others that were the higher-branded ones that were a lot more expensive, but all of those came with fancy lights and stereo systems that we didn't really need or were looking for. When we found Master Spas, we felt like we were getting what we wanted. It wasn't extravagant. We like that it's not just a swim spa, the first half of it is like a hot tub. So, you can have six people sitting in that, and then you can have people sitting in the spa part as well.
The installation was a little bit of a downer. It had nothing to do with Master Spas. It was the local company that delivers them. We were told that they would come and take our old one away, which they did. I didn't care that they destroyed it. It was like a 15-year-old hot tub. I didn't have a problem with how they did it but when they brought our new one in, they just came with a bunch of PVC pipes. They just put it on its side and rolled it on the pipes into our backyard. The fascia is damaged but it was nothing that was enough to complain about. As far as the product, the instructions that it came with were simple. I'm not an electrician, but I sat there and watched our electrician that installed it and I was thinking I could have done that myself because it's very clearly done. Overall, we're very happy with the product.

We purchased the Master Spas Twilight Series 67.25. Thus far, it has performed well. My spa research heavily focused on the user interface. I did not want a touch screen that may or may not work fingers have been in the water for a while - a common situation. The "Google Nest" style rotary interface is excellent and I love it. However, it isn't made by Master Spas and that is part of my issue with the spas. The literature that we received from Master Spas on configuring the Gecko-made spa controller (Gecko makes the dial/control system for the spa) was all out-of-date. I installed the app I was directed to, but it turned out to be an older version. Ok...fine.
I got the new one installed and connected it to the spa...sort of. What should be better explained is that the spa is not actually Wi-Fi enabled. It is 900MHz wireless much like wireless landline phones or wireless headphones that connect to TVs. I connected the dongle that provided to my garage-located networking panel, saw it connect (blue blinking light), and tried connecting my phone to the spa...nope. There is a zero percent chance my spa's location is beyond the range of my networking setup, but yet it still would not connect. Fast forward...you have to have the dongle by in range of the spa using 900MHz since the spa itself does not use Wi-Fi in any way.
If you have a setup like mine (everything homerun to the garage with WAPs spread through the ceiling of the house) that means needing an ethernet drop and an electrical outlet near the spa for the dongle to connect to the spa. It would have been nice if the dongle used POE so it didn't require using an (out-of-date) micro USB power adapter. Anyway, I resolved that issue. I called Master Spas about this issue and they stated the spas "should have" come with updated instructions, but it didn't. I also inquired about blinking lights around the dial of the spa, but I never got a direct answer. I think this is my main issue -Master Spas doesn't make the system that control the thing they manufacture nor are they adequately versed in configuration or troubleshooting some of the issues I have mentioned.

I went to a trade show, found Master Spas and got a Clarity spa, which I could hook up with a 120 line instead of a 220. It has LED lights and I like the heat. The hot tub's nice, but it's expensive.

We went to a hot tub sale at a convention center in Salt Lake and got involved with Master Spas. When we saw them, I liked their design and how they presented their features, both in their filters and their jets and the way that their spas were set up. We chose our spa based on size, what would fit where we're putting it and we like the layout of the spa that we chose. It's got seats and a lot of jets. I like the filter system that it has and I thought it was easy to operate.
Master Spas was really good to work with when we were purchasing the spa because they allowed us enough time to get the spot where we're putting it set up. We've had it now for a year and we've had no problems. The setup instructions were clear and the spa works as expected. We haven't had any breakdowns. I would recommend Master Spas if people were to ask me. We have it in a condo complex in the mountains and most of the people around us that have spas have another brand. Master Spas is much quieter and it works really well.

Master Spas had a sale and I went. It was a whole fiasco as part of an insurance thing. I had another spa then that company never paid me back. In the meantime, I had put something on the Master Spas. Once I got the tub, everything was fine.

We like how Master Spas does the installation of the tub. We got a 7 x 7 tub and it's got a lounge in it. One corner has the shoulders all the way up and down in the back. The tub has two 4.5-horsepower motors so the power is good. We had them come out when the control panel wasn't working as well, and they replaced that. That was good customer service. We're happy with our Master Spas tub.

My wife and I were in the market for a jacuzzi, a spa, a hot tub, and we liked what we saw with Master Spas. We liked the size, the layout, and the features that it came with. We also liked the pricing that they were willing to give us and the free delivery. They had also indicated that, at the time, Michael Phelps was endorsing Master Spas. That was an important thing. While the hot tub was being delivered, we had the side of it damaged. We worked with Master Spas on getting replacement parts, and they did a good job. The tub has seating for eight. We love where the jets are located, the LED lighting and the different colors that you can turn it to. The quality of the tub is good. I have recommended it.

We had an old hot tub that was in bad shape. My husband and I decided that, for our anniversary, having the tub replaced would be a good thing to do. He looked online and found Master Spas. They were fairly close in our area. The guy that we talked to was very informative and friendly. We had a good visit. He explained all the different models that we could look at. He asked questions about what we were looking for and did his best to show us everything so we could make a good decision that worked for us.
We got a tub that fits six, and it looks good. I love the cover that comes on it. The one that we had before was so heavy but this one is so easy to open up and easy to get into. It has little steps that go into it so that when you step up and you step into it, you're stepping down and not walking on another seat. For little people like me, it's good. I get in there to enjoy the bubbles, the massaging stuff and the warmth.
The installation was very smooth. I was surprised. It was on Christmas Eve when they brought it, and they were efficient and got it done. They cleaned up the mess that was left from the old one and before I knew it, they were all set up. The guy was explaining how to do the chemicals too. He said, "You might wanna record it," and we did. That was great 'cause he explained it, each one of the little things that they had brought with it. We were very thrilled. I was very pleased with everything, from talking with them to getting the installation done. We had a good experience. Considering I've got what I would consider a nicer spa than the one that they took out, I was pleased with the cost. It was within our range and it worked well.

Master Spas was at a show down here in Everett, and their rep was good. I didn't take long at all for the installation team to get in the backyard and put the tub up on the deck where it needed to go. It went pretty quickly. We got an eight-person tub, and I like the fact that the tub is hot on a cold day. The jets are cool as well. All around, it's a good tub.

They were all fantastic particularly the lady in the shipping department. She brought the filter to my house because they forgot to put it in there at the store. Instead of making me come get it, she brought it here. We're happy with our Master Spas tub. It has a waterfall, lights, and a bunch of jets in each seat.

The original control board stopped working in the second year. The replacement stopped working in the 4th year. This is a $400 part. I don't like the way it constantly overflows on the patio. There is a drain inside the panels for this purpose.

Tub runs at least 3 to 5 degrees cold! Talked with Home Innovations the local dealer. By the way they suck! Told me that the water was warmer where it enters the spa from where I took the temperature! IT'S A 300 GALLON TUB! The water temp is the water temp! It’s not that hard! Ok let’s now talk about the current cover. I have bed sheets heavier than this cover! When it is cold out it looks like a tea kettle on each side with the heat escaping! It literally frosted up the wall next to it!
I talked to Home Innovations and their response was that I, not a technician needed to get pictures of the steam escaping my tub! Oh but a video would be even better! 100% disappointed with Home innovations and can’t believe that Master Spas would even associate with them! Previously in Kearney we dealt with Deterdings and Hot Springs! If there was any issue they were on it! They are the greatest! Oh wait I forgot to even mention that Home Innovations didn’t even stick around till the initial water fill was done! Of If I had had no experience what the hell would old I have done?

We initially got a beautiful hot tub out of the box and everything worked. Then we were called for a recall of the outside. Ring lights were recalled. They worked perfectly before the recall, after the recall, they never came on again. The people that replaced them have not been back to repair them.

dropping it from the trailer. Then they asked us to Help them move the tub and my son ended up falling and breaking his tailbone when the strap they provided broke. They went over the tub very quickly and I could barely understand the guy. I reached out to the owner of the company and he said he would take care of it but have heard nothing. I have left messages with no reply. My tub has scratch marks on the corners and he said he would contact me with a service person to come out and try to buff out the marks but again no response?

Salesman told us regular price of spa purchased was 23,000$. Told us sale price was 17,500$ and since it had a couple shipping scratches they would drop the price to 16,500. Come to find out after purchase that average price found on internet is 14-16k. When spa was delivered it had been sitting outside under some pine trees so there were pine sap and needles all over it. Then once hooked up and filled a bunch of black moldy crap came out of the jets so after cleaning it a second time first because of pine trees and second because of the mold. I called the salesman. Left a message and have still never heard back. Purchased at the Ford Idaho Center sale first part of December 2025. Would like to purchase an extra set of filters and also wanted the salt system with no idea where to get it..

Cannot get replacement filters, jets poorly placed and fall out constantly. Very poor quality. If I had known I would have not purchased this tub. No customer service available, have tried several times to make contact.

Been asking for 3 weeks now to fix the jets in my spa. Have not heard anything as requested. I sent emails and videos three times to Customerservice@masterspas.com and no one has gotten back to me. In addition they Never explained the costly process of wiring and the maintenance sold it as if it were simple and it is not. DO NOT buy a spa from them.

0 star delivery experience. Worst customer experience I've ever had. Took 3 months to arrive. First of all, these are not custom products. Why not build ahead and have inventory in stock? Second of all, no delivery eta provided by Master Spas. Evasive, stalling, and unhelpful responses from customer service when I tried figuring out the status. Has it shipped? Is is still at your facility? Master Spas customer service couldn't provide answers to these basic questions. The local delivery partner was similarly unable to provide any sort of delivery eta of status of my order. It's not that hard people! If the order is delayed, just be upfront about it! Give the new delivery ETA & order status and apologize for the inconvenience! I do like the spa, but my entire experience was spoiled by the awful delivery experience. Other buyers should stay away until they figure out what they are doing with delivery.

Spa kept tripping the breaker. I worked with tech support. Electrician had one wire in wrong spot. While correcting, he accidentally pulled off a ground wire. I asked tech support to confirm it was correct. Included the picture. Still tripping the breaker. Brand new spa and was told parts were on their way on 12/15. Parts took 3 weeks to be sent to the tech. Turns out they weren't even needed. I called out the actual issue and tech support missed it. They must have not even looked at the picture. I missed an entire month of use and cost me an extra $200. Also had to spend several hours winterizing the hot tub because cold weather was happening during the 3 week wait for unneeded parts.

Do not purchase anything from Msp!!!! They are awful! I have spent hundreds of $ with them and when they sent me a poor lot of (4) spa test strips, because it was a bit over the 30 day purchase date, they refused to help in any way. I will never do business with them again.....

I had a swim spa with Master Spas and I just got another spa from them. It has some really good features with it. I like the fountain and all the jets are really good. The quality seems to be really good as well. I use it about three times a week, and I like sitting in it. It's really comfortable. I have a bad back, so it helps it. Master Spas is the best I know of.

We got a Precision 7 hot tub from Master Spas. During the delivery, they didn't bring everything with it, and it took quite a while for me to even get ahold of them to find out when I was getting the rest of the accessories I ordered with it. I called the store and the delivery driver, but it still took a couple of weeks to get it resolved. Other than that, the quality of the tub is good.

I have had a hot tub with Master Spas years ago. The quality was good and I never had any problems with it. So, I decided to stick with them. But, this time, one thing that pissed me off was that the latest one was supposed to be full service. Every time you call them to fix something, it costs 175 bucks for them to come out. The servicing made me mad. It is supposed to be free services and then it is not. Still, overall, it is a good spa.

We love the design, compact size and therapeutic jets of the TS 240. However in the last 5 months of ownership we have had two warranty calls. Beware of the hidden travel fees on the warranty. It can add up…. Plus it is never fun having a brand new hot tub requiring regular service. Keeping balanced water is a challenge compared to other hot tubs I have owned. I am using more chemicals to keep the water clear, even with regularly rinsing the filter. Not sure if it is the filtration system but I have seen others make similar reviews regarding maintenance.
As far as warranty service, the first tech was great and repair was done in a suitable timeframe. This current problem is not yet resolved and the office does not have the part. They directed me to the manufacturer to get the part. I ordered it, but they would not do priory shipping on part for me. A bit of a headache and the lack of regard for the customer is frustrating. Again, I love the spa itself… When it is working. :)

Master Spas had an end of the year old model clearance sale ongoing at a trade show. We were looking for something that was on sale so we got it. The quality of the spa is so far good.

The spa itself is very nice. When we purchased it, the salesman was very nice. However in less than a year it’s showing manufacturer defect. I called them and they agreed that there’s five year warranty for parts and labor but I would have to pay $79 service fee for them to come out. I was not told about it.
I called Master Spas directly and they said the dealer was right. I’m not happy about it. It would have been great if someone has been upfront and honest with that. I feel like I got a little ripped off. They also tried to oversell me on their chemicals. Another thing is I didn't get the spa and the color that I expected. What I was shown on the showroom floor was not what I got. They said I got the 2025 model. I paid a lot of money for it. Overall, not a great experience.

We had been doing some research online and then there was a showroom nearby. We went and checked it out and bought a Twilight 8.2. We like the features and the size is right. They said it fits six people but because of the lounger, it doesn't really fit six. Still it's good and it’s got plenty of space. It has a lot of jets and lights and all that fun stuff. My father-in-law lives with us and it's a little more therapeutic than some of the other tubs. We like it.

The Master Spa that we got has the swim spa and all the accessories for that. It has two seats on one end for relaxation. Its functionality has been great and I like all the water movement. It was a good product and I enjoy it. While it performs fine, I wish they'd have made the access panel a little easier to get to rather than to have to pull the screws out and take the whole end off.
The gentleman who helped us was the main reason we got it. He explained everything and then showed it to us. He was a super good guy. "

We got the Trainer 21D, and we used it for swimming. Right now, we're utilizing the hot tub with the cold weather and so, we haven't got to do the workout part as much as we like yet. But I love the exercise thing. We've used it a few times and it’s amazing. I like all the jets and how they work in the right locations for your body because we're sore with back problems. We have the little thing where you lie out on the top where the water comes up, and we love that as well.
We built a barn and we put it up there. It's about 30 minutes away from where we live right now, and we try it every weekend. We have three older girls that use it as well.

We got the Therapool 13. We chose Master Spas over the others due to the price. It was delivered by a crane, and their people installed and set up the tub for us. We received it at the end of the season, so we haven't been able to use it a lot but so far, we've been pleased with it. It has the hot tub jets on one end and the resistance swim on the other end. I would highly recommend Master Spas.

My spa was just delivered, one month late. The salesman (Duane) at Master's depicted an entirely different delivery and set up experience than I received. They delivered it, put it on my slab and said bye. It was filthy. They can’t install the cover, not allowed. They can’t dispense of their trash, not allowed. I was told they would show us how to work it and care for it…nope! It came with no chemicals even if they had been more helpful. The delivery man was rude and was awful to the other guy which I think was his son. This review is even before I have filled it up and used it. Hopefully it will get better because at this point, I highly regret my purchase. If I change my review later and the use outweighs the delivery experience, I will gladly change my review.

I built a new deck on the back of my house and my wife said we should get a hot tub to go with the deck. We got the Legacy Enterprise from Master Spas because it was the right size for my location. It had the right equipment in it that I wanted to adjust and it was the amount of money that I wanted to pay. My wife and I both love the tub, and we're in it all the time. I find it to be relaxing. Occasionally, we have people to come over and spend some time on the deck and go in the hot tub. Even though winter is here now, we still enjoy it.
I set the tub up, and I realized that I was losing water. I talked to the folks, and they said maybe I just didn't get the things all tight when it was getting set up. So, I did what they told me to do. Sure enough, one of my connections was loose. I squared that away and I talked to them about a cover, and they recommended one for me. I bought that and installed it. That was great. Master Spas is in my neighborhood. So, anytime I have a question or need any kind of product, I just swing in there, and the people are super friendly. They know me by name. The whole experience was pleasant, and that their service was great. They were very communicative in terms of when's it gonna be delivered and what do we need to do. They did everything they said they were gonna do, too.

We liked the cost-effectiveness at the time of purchase. We got a Master spa with the six-person lounge. I'm impressed with the quality. It has worked effectively every time I've used it. Also, all the jets are great. I like the revolving jets. However, I can't have them both on at full speed. It has six seats, and you can turn certain seats on full blast, and it will turn off other seats. But when it's full blast, it's awesome. It's easy to maintain and it has a five-year warranty that covers everything.

We received a mailer in advertising that there will be an event held at the fairgrounds, where they will do a big expo of all the different Master Spas. We thought about going there to see everything all at once. We live in a neighborhood that does not allow for pools in our backyard, and we don't have a neighborhood pool. But having some sort of a water feature throughout the year was important to us to kind get in to cool off or warm up. A spa was something that intrigued our interest, and that was part of what drew us there.
The special pricing and things for their close-out of the 2025 stock was enticing as well. We got a fair price. But even with the fact that we got the end-of-the-year-getting-rid-of-inventory price, the prices that were on a regular basis were reasonable. We thought it would be a bit more expensive to get what we got even at a full price. We were pleasantly surprised that we could get more than what we wanted for a fair price.
Master Spas was extremely professional, and knew the product. They listened to what our needs were. We went in, looking at some things, but as I saw the size, and compared to what we had, the size of a slab to put it on, they didn't push us to a more expensive product. They just wanted to fit us to what was best for us. The team did a very quick turnaround as far as getting the spa there on that same week. We already had the slab part, so they could quickly get it to us. We visited the showroom afterwards because we wanted to explore a bit more. We picked up a few of the scents to put into the spa. Even the support team that worked there in the offices were very helpful. They were really able to talk us through installation. In that process, whether it be a swim spa or whether a hot tub, they told us how all that would work, and felt very comfortable of their expertise on getting everything installed.
Our spa is a 7 x 7. It's a six-seater. It has some pretty features as far as the lighting and the waterfall. I love that there are different types of seats in there with all the different adjustable jets for us. I also love the exterior. It's a bit more modern. It blends in with our surroundings and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. It's nice. It's the perfect height. We've added a TV close by to where we can sit back in the tub and watch some movies. It's a great product.
We're just looking to start off with the temperature control. It has the digital screen that manages the temperature, the jets, any of the settings that we need to do. It also has the cup holders. It has the different colored lights that can flow through. Part of the worry that I had was it can get cold where we live, and I was worried about it freezing, but it manages all of that. It has a special cover. We even have the cover opener, where it will swing open without a lot of effort. I love that everything is American-made and parts can be quickly gotten. It's a product that has been manufactured for a long time. So, we don't have to worry about finding a part for it or having a special something ordered. The team within Overland Park could come out and work on it if we needed to.

I drove by and stopped at a Master Spas. I got the Michael Phelps hot tub that blows water out. I always had Hot Springs and it made me wish I had gone with that. This was an impulse buy. The heaters suck. I open the top up in the winter and I can sit out there for 10 minutes and it's cold. I can't stand it. Everything else also sucks.

I did an online research on different brands of spas, and settled on Master Spas. The sales rep I dealt with was helpful when I was purchasing the spa. However since I purchased a spa, I had a couple of questions, and I can't get her to return my phone calls. As far as the installation team, they got the spa here, they got it set in place, they got the cover put on it, and then I had to get an electrician to come in to hook it up. They did the installation in a timely fashion, and they were here when they were supposed to be.

We did research on the internet, checked ratings and other people's opinions on spas. Master Spas seemed to be a favorite of consumers. It had good quality ratings. They are a good company to work with. We've had a good relationship with the Master Spas people. We had good dealings with the salesman, and the delivery of it was as we asked. We got a 7.2 Twilight Series. It has a lot of the jets in it that we wanted and foot blasters which we like. It's the size that we wanted. It fit our needs or what we wanted. We've only had it for one season, but we're pleased with everything.

We got the swim spa Challenger 21D from Master Spas. It was the biggest one. It seems very efficient. The swim side is nice and large. We liked that the hot tub side is the spa side and is much bigger than the previous version. We've had some challenges with the panels on the outside. The clips are breaking, and the panels don't want to stay in place. We were supposed to have a technician come down because we've also had a problem with one of our covers that it came with. It has warped. So, it's not sealing and they're supposed to be replacing that.

Our purchase experience with Master Spas was a little high pressure, and it was not horrible but it could have been a little more open-minded with price. I think they were a little overpriced. I still bought their product. They seem to be very well represented. I liked the product from other hot tubs that we had looked at. We had a date for the setup once we purchased the hot tub, and they arrived on set date without any issues. As far as setting it up, everything went well. They didn't wire it in. We had an electrician come in, and then filled it. So, the only thing that they did not have at that point that they were supposed to was the lift assist bar for the cover, which had been bought and then paid for already. It didn't show up for a month and a half later. They did come back and do it.
We've used the tub quite a few times, and I do like the double pump feature on our Clarity Balance 7. It's a seven-person. We like all the features to it so far. The jet seemed to be okay. It does have LEDs with it, and it is a full porcelain. It's got a nice cover with it. The whole chemical process with it seems to be a little finicky, but we're working through those things. Everything seems to be fine with it so far.
It's disappointing to note the delay you experienced with the delivery of the lift assist bar and any inconvenience it may have caused. We understand how important timeliness is, and your input will help us improve our delivery processes!

Master Spas was at a good price so we bought their product. We had a big spa, and we got one that is a little bit smaller. We just use it to sit out there. The jets aren't as powerful as I was hoping, but we wanted to have a spa and we didn't want to spend a lot of money. So, we got what we paid for. Master Spas was reasonably-priced.

I've been interested in getting a spa for a long time. I've seen that Master Spas was doing this hot deal and I went out there to look. We got one of the biggest regular spas that they have. It's got 4,000 jets and waterfalls, and it's got the new dial. We enjoy it. It's got the shoulder massagers on the top, in one of the corners, and that was the thing that really led me to it. It's just I hardly use it because it sets out of the water a little too far, even when the water level is at the right place. I'm a big guy. Maybe if I had the hot tub full, it would be better, but it's high enough where all it does is just fly everywhere. Outside of that, we love it. I like the pressure. It's got good jets, and I like the controller on it. It's easy to operate.

We had a hot tub that was already leaking badly. So, we decided to replace it. On a whim, I saw an advertisement that Master Spas was doing a show in Johnson County, Kansas and I told my husband for us to go look. We ended up purchasing a hot tub from them. I'm satisfied with the quality. There was a blemish on one of the panels on the side, and they did make notations that they would replace it. I have reached out to them twice to see where the replacement panel is. The last time I spoke to them was about 10 days ago and they said that it was in and they would have someone to call and schedule installation of replacing that side panel. I have not received a call back from them yet to schedule.

We bought a Twilight 6.2 series spa 3 years ago. Literally 5 days after the warranty expired one of the pumps started leaking. The company I bought this from, East Coast Spa’s charged me $625 but gave me a $125 “discount” for it being so close to the warranty expiration. Definitely disappointed that something so expensive failed after only 3 years. Would not recommend this spa due to the way my tub failed.

Master Spas had a show at the expo center. It was their summer clearance. I wasn't sure what to expect when we went to the sale. But they were in the top five overall in the market. So, I knew it was a good quality product. We got a six-person hot tub. I have the second-highest level model that they sell. I'm taller, so I needed the bigger one to sit down in. They set it for me and I did the power. The guy that came and delivered it gave us everything we needed to know about. He was very knowledgeable about the product. It was expensive, but, supposedly, it was about 50% off. It was right in a good range, from what I've seen. We got a good price.
We love the spa. We use it four or five times a week. It's an outdoor. There are LED lights inside and there's a light bar on the outside. Also, I like the control system. It's a push button and a scroll. You rotate the knob to get to the different pumps and temperature settings. It's easy to control. There are a lot of jets and it has way more power than I expected. I've had a few hot tubs before, but this thing has a lot of power. My wife had a sore shoulder so she likes to get in and there's a massage type function where the jets rotate around and give you a massage. It helps loosen up my back muscles. The heat stays in the hot tub. Very solid frame and construction. I'm pleased with it.

I thought I was getting a good deal with Master Spas at an expo event. I bought the Michael Phelps six-person spa. It has the two-motor, six-person lounger. It's got the filter system with the center core that's minerals. I had two repairs necessary within the first three months. So far, everything is holding up. I'm still gonna wait and see since I've had two malfunctions in the first few months of ownership.

Master Spas ran a local promotion. They would be in my area and I was in the market for a new hot tub. I saw it on social media. I could have purchased a cheaper one, but Master Spas would deliver it to me and set it up for free. It has a waterfall lounger. It's a seven-person which costs 12,000. I use it every night. It's great. I had an issue with the cabinet LED lighting and the tech came right away and fixed it. The guy was great. I also recommended Master Spas to one of the guys who works for me.

I've had other hot tubs, and the Master Spas is a really good one. Everything was good with my experience except I didn't get the three-tier step that they said I would on the day we bought it. I got a two-tier step. It just makes it harder to get in. I told them, and they didn't even mark it on the paperwork, but it's spaced out right to where it looks like it's supposed to have been a three-step. I was happy all the way up until I didn't get my three-step then.

Hot tub cover order details Master Spas 8x8 tapping water in depressions. Can I return and substitute with a replacement as well-made as the original cover I ordered when I bought the hot tub years ago that works great still? The 5-month-old cover they will not take back and I sent photos with the rain puddles in 2x3 foot depressions in this cover, unlike the original 11-year-old cover made much sturdier. Junk.
Hi Larry, sorry to hear that- if you would like to shoot us pictures of your cover situation we can look and advise? We can only do this for Master Spa's brand covers (sometimes dealers do offer alternative cover brands so be sure to check the label) also if seeing depressions or wells in the cover often the cover insert just needs to be flipped inside the cover skin- It's recommended you do this every 6 months as a standard to help the foam insert keep it's shape to your spa. Simply remove your cover from your spa, unzip the cover skin at the covers center and flip the insert and reinsert back into the cover skin! The jet on top next to the multiple jet set has been broke since I got the tub. Have received no help. In contact with your personnel. Can't even get a answer on how to turn off the water fall. It took me almost 2 months to get through to anybody. So far not a good experience with your company.

We bought a Master Spas product and it is working. However, we don't really know how to use it very well. The chemicals have been really complicated. The instructions that we got and the list of chemicals they left us with it when they installed it don't really match. I watched the videos and they don't really match. We did have a call with somebody from the people we bought it from and they made it sound super easy, but it really doesn't align to what the chemicals we have here and how we're supposed to operate it. The little sticks to test it don't work. There are two different sets and they both have different colors.
I've used the product about five times in a few months. So, so far, it hasn't been great. We don't know how much of that is us and how much it is the setup. I don't feel like they really managed it very well. There were all kinds of miscommunications trying to get it set up, getting appointments and getting it delivered. It was not the greatest experience. I certainly wouldn't do it again. We bought an expensive hot tub and we don't feel like what they told us in the sales process is real. It was all greasy sales and a lot of high pressure.
We are unhappy that we don't get to really use it because we're afraid to go into the thing because the chemicals aren't right. When we told them we couldn't get the screen to unlock so we can get in the thing to turn it on, they sent out a a service guy to replace, under warranty, the control panel itself. All it really required was to tell us that we can unlock it by pulling one little logo over till it meets the other logo. Nowhere was that explained. So, they replaced a panel for no purpose because nobody bothered to explain how to unlock the panel in the first place. They incurred a four-hour drive plus the replacement of a panel for no purpose because nobody bothered to tell us.

Buy any spa except Master Spas! Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in my purchase. Not only is it poorly designed with regards to accessibility to the mechanical parts and drain hose, as you have to remove two entire panels with 12 screws every time, but constant expensive repairs. That’s assuming you can even find any spa repair services to work on a MasterSpas. There are zero repair services in the SF East Bay area and the first time in year one of ownership that I had to replace the control board unit, had to pay mileage for a repair company to come from Sacramento area as no one else would work on it and MasterSpas only could refer me to that company.
MS wouldn’t cover it under warranty either and then two years later had to replace one of the motors and bought the part and hired a handyman. A year after that the heating element stopped working and was causing the circuit breaker to trip. Replaced that and 5 months later have to replace it again. Do NOT buy a MasterSpas!!! Buyer beware!!!

We were looking for a therapeutic type of thing and we purchased a spa from Master Spas. It was an easy purchase. The salesman was thorough about explaining everything. We like the amount of jets and all the features that our spa has. We really enjoy it. I think it's incredibly convenient. I hurt my knee the other day and I was moving stuff and my muscles were really sore. I was just in there a few minutes and it was insane how much it helped. The only thing is I do need to call them because the dial on the panel blinks. There are a few issues with that. It keeps blinking really fast. It doesn't do it all the time, but it does it quite a bit.

I did some research and found that Master Spas' products are made here in the US. I bought mine at a spa show. I've had it since July. They delivered it in a couple of days, but they didn't set it up for a couple of months because we were doing some work in the backyard. The quality and features are all good.

Updated on 11/11/2025: So they message me saying they’ll sent a new touch screen panel and instead send me a foot jet and one filter, both of which I don’t need as I’ve just replaced them.
Original Review: I bought my hot tub in 2019. It’s kept indoors and is maintained and cleaned on a regular. It broke 6 times since I bought it. In fact I just got one thing fixed and filled it. Used it for first time since filling and another part broke. I’ve actually replaced 2 parts twice each. Very cheaply made. Beyond upset.
Are both currently out at the moment? We could send you some parts directly if that help out or aid? We're sorry to see the struggle, looking into your case numbers it seems you only contacted us for help in 2022 for the leak and we did cover the service in full. We simply haven't been aware of your issues up to this point but a good majority of that should have been covered under warranty for at least parts when you were covered!

We're enjoying our Master spa. If you can afford it, do it. It wasn't their fault that we couldn't get our electrician to come out. We kept putting it off, and had to get another electrician because we couldn't get anybody out of here. All the installers did was just set it down, but they were very nice and offered to come back and give us an orientation if we needed it.

I went with Master Spas because I like how we were treated a lot better than how other places treated us.
My favorite feature is a lounge chair inside the spa. And it's got jets all over it, even down at your feet, and I love it. The jets are wonderful. I really like them. I love the fact that you can turn them down or turn them up full blast. That's a great feature to have.

My husband loves Master Spas more than I do. I have been wanting a spa for about a year. It took me a little while. So, I just went out when we heard the advertisement. I just wanted to go and look at some spas in the showroom. I was just trying to get my husband signed on to the whole idea.
When we got there and realized that it was affordable, even though we knew it was a 10-year plan, I knew I was gonna get it. Everything worked out real good, and it didn't take long. I wanted one, and their representative gave me a good price for it. He did an excellent job.
My husband thinks he's going to the beach somewhere. He gets his beach bag together, all the towels, and the music together. It's wonderful. And I'm glad that he really loves it. This is the best thing we could have got for our age, as we are getting older.
After I exercise, I feel like I need some relaxation. So, I just go out and get in the jacuzzi. It's really nice. It's making a difference in my life, and I can definitely tell that I really enjoyed it. I've already told my friends and family where to go if they want one.
Everybody's been wanting to come over to get in it. I haven't allowed anybody over yet, just because I've been buying a lot of accessories to get it ready. So, probably for Thanksgiving, I'm gonna have everybody over so that they can have their chance in the Master Spas.

Our TS7.2 model hot tub is amazing, relaxing and a great value. Mfg great getting our missing cover/beverage tray above the filters seems to be difficult. It's been over a month and still don't have it. Despite that situation I recommend these hit hits to everyone.

Your software and apps are absolute garbage. CMS doesn't on Android no longer seems to allow for adjusting from Low to High and the scheduling piece is no longer easily accessible. While trying to use the BWA app I can't get through to do anything. Your software and development seem to be non-existent or at least lacking in some very basic UI features and should not be advertised for anything useful.
Darcy - Master Spas has never advertised being compatible with "CMS" or "Control My Spa" - as it will not be fully compatible within a Master Spa unit.. The Balboa manufacturer company is the company that makes the logic system for your hot tub, they also make the Control My Spa module and app. So it is truly an easy mistake to make, we are truly sorry if there has been a misunderstanding. Contact your dealership to make sure you have the correct Spa Wi-Fi Module official Master Spa Part X619372 ( the only compatible module from Balboa - this works for all older H2X and well as hot tubs ) - this module works with "BWA" app only and would be the available via a Master Spas dealership.

We saw Master Spas in the showroom. The price was a bit high but it did have a lot of features that some of the other ones didn’t have. We had it installed and we had a little trouble getting the Wi-Fi port hooked up and then the little control panel had to be changed out. But other than that, everything went well. We got the flyer in the mail for an event at the convention center and it was happening that weekend– they would put all the spas in the convention center–so we wound up going.
We got a hot tub and we use it four to five times a week. It's really relaxing. It's something to do to unwind after work. The jets feel amazing. It's very high quality. This is my first hot tub, but feel we have a nice one compared to what I see in advertisements.
The customer service was great and the way they worked with us on financing was great.We got a really good deal. The whole experience was really nice.

We were looking for a spa and we have been wanting one for a while, so we went to a couple of different places, did an Internet search and asked a few people and went with Master Spas.
We chose Clarity spa because one of the reasons was the magnetic therapy and it was on the bedroom floor. It looks really nice. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks, so I’m still trying figuring out the chemicals and everything. I like how easy it is. We bought an automatic, so the holder for the top is simple to open and close.
One of the features that I like is the fact that I had a history of back problems and I was able to get a prescription from my chiropractor for the spa, so I didn't have to pay the taxes on it. I think I'm gonna be able to use that for a tax write-off, so I feel like that helps with affordability when you know that you can save some money that way.
We had a misunderstanding at the showroom. I didn't know we were getting the one with the lounger, but apparently, it was a miscommunication and they delivered the one with the lounger. So, when I called back in and talked to him, he reminded me of the conversation and I realized that it was my fault. I misunderstood.

The spa I wanted in the place here in town, wouldn't order me the one I wanted. They said they had to order a bunch of them at a time, and they only needed to sell the ones in their showroom first. And I’m like, Oh no, I need a massage and spa. I'm a disabled veteran and I'm in pain. So, I thought I had money saved up to buy one cash. Well, I guess I ain't gonna get one. And Master Spas did an expo. They came to town and did a showroom, and they showed me one with the massage and jets. And I probably paid more than its worth because they don't tell you the price of them, but we went ahead and jumped on it. I tried to look for it online. There was nothing to go off. But I like it. It has features other companies don't have, especially on the shoulders. This spa had the bigger jets, the bigger pumps. So, it seemed to be built better. I use it once or twice a day because I fight arthritis.
At first, I didn’t know what to think because it kind of came a little scratched up and the part flew off on the highway, and there was no screw. And I'm like, Oh. And I handed them 19,000, wrote a check right then and there. And then I paid another $2500 to wire up through another electrical company.
Customer service took a while to get here, but they made things right. They sent me the corner piece that flew off down the road. They sent me the screw.

We went to a Master Spas’ spa and pool event and ended up buying a hot tub. The gentleman that delivered it was very helpful and knowledgeable. The light on one of the cup holders was not working. They came out and fixed it within a week. I just wish we got a bigger tub, but so far, we love it. It’s been very helpful to my sciatic nerve in my right hip.

The only issue I had was during installation. It was a very nutty day, and there wasn’t much that could be done about that. However, they didn’t make sure the top would open completely on our patio before they started filling it. We had to empty the tub because we didn’t know it at the time. The hot tub was more than we wanted to spend, but we did it knowing that we were doing a bit emotional decision about a financial matter. It was a bit expensive, but so far everything Master Spas said has come to fruition.

The spa I purchased from Master Spas has six seats and the magnetic spouts. We love it. I had fallen and hurt myself and it came into my life at the perfect time. I was almost unable to walk. But with that therapy, it has helped tremendously.
We're in it every day. I go three hours a day sometimes, if not more, every day. They've got different seatings and many different ways to use the pressures and spouts. We have the recliner and you can sit different ways on it. They also got seats lower in the bottom into the base of the unit that you can sit down lower and it's got a really good pressure for the feet. There's not a bad place to sit. It hits all the good spots for the muscles and I highly recommend it. I can't say enough about it. The spa is fabulous.
But I'm not real happy with their salesman. His name is Chip and he doesn't even return his calls. I've been trying to get ahold of him to get new filters and he never did call me back. I'm very unhappy with that part.

I got the Balance 6. And the reason I got it was that it’s supposed to use less chemicals. And I have lupus, so I use it for heat therapy. Because heat normally relieves the pain that I have. And I do aquatic exercises in it as well. I just hold myself up and do my leg kicks. So, it helps me a lot.
My experience with Master Spas was nice. It was smooth. And the representative answered all my questions. And if I have any questions, I can contact them and they’d walk me through it. My spa has LED lights, lounge, and jets in it. So, I just move around, and it hits different areas a little bit better. It is expensive, but for what it does, and it uses less chemicals, and it's not bad on electricity, the price is fair.

I got a hot tub from Master Spas with jets all over the place. The customer service rep was great and fabulous. The main thing was he was able to answer all of the questions that we had and he was able to give us the exact price and point us in a direction of having it put in. They were able to hold the tub for us until we were finished with our remodels so we could have a spot to put it. Also, my husband's got back problems bad enough to where his doctor actually wrote him a letter and got a certain amount off because his doctor was willing to do that. So that was good.

We went to their spa extravaganza event, and they helped and showed us all the spas. The experience was fabulous. We purchased a six or eight-person spa. It is a 7-foot x 7-foot and it has a lounger in it. It has bubbles too. We had it behind our trailer house now that we are going to be living in when we build our trailer house. But we are eventually going to move it on our back porch of our new house we are going to build next year.
We have used the spa three times already. We love the whole thing including all the jets, and the lights are cool too. It has Bluetooth and my techie husband uses it. We have their app downloaded and it is very basic. We tried to turn the temperature down for the first week that we had it, but it would never would go down. It should, but it would not. Still, I highly recommend Master Spas.

I’ve been a little frustrated with how much the spa I got from Master Spas is costing me in chemicals to keep it, and I wasn’t expecting that. I own a pool and it doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg. It’s just a lot of chemicals, and a lot of work. It takes one whole day every week to go out there and put the chlorine in, put the total care in, test it, run the jets for 30 minutes, set the timer, go back and test it again. And the Master Spas dealer, whoever the guy is, wasn’t very friendly. He seemed annoyed whenever I asked him questions, so I just stopped calling because he was just awful to me.

This was our first hot tub, and was told it would be easy to maintain. We spent hours trying different solutions to keep the water looking clear, but always ended up being cloudy and feeling gross. The water was drained 2x and still no solution... Until we found out we received a hot tub that was delivered with white mold. We spent countless days, hours and gallons resolving this issue. What was supposed to be a leisure and relaxing purchase turned into a 'make work' project and high maintenance. This has not been a fun 'first experience'!!!

The spa works perfect and I enjoy it very much. The installation team was a bid rough and in addition to a few scratches, there was a lot of cracking when they lifted it into position. There are some gaps in the edge corners - is that a concern ( refer to photos). When I poured the foundation, Master Spa said 8x8 for 7 ft spa. That’s too big. 7x7 would have looked better. Again, refer to photos. I recall during the sales transaction it was mentioned I should get $300 discount 'cause I did not take the fancy lid, but I don’t think the salesman gave me the discount. By the time I remembered, I was at home.

Terrible, no communication between the delivery and sales person. Wi-Fi. No one could tell us how to hook it up for the Wi-Fi to work.. Can’t call the manufacturer which we were told we could, we have to email and wait for weeks for a response. We bought a hot tub from lighthouse before this one at our old house and never had any problems like this and they came out when we called them. We would never buy another hot tub from you.

Cannot find the tube for draining spa and screws are too small to open the compartments. Easily stripped. Spa would not operate when it said water needed to be changes, even though I had had the spa only a couple of weeks.

I have to say that I was prepared for something akin to a car buying experience while shopping for a spa. Overall, very happy with the spa. Quite roomy even for a family of 5, jet locations are very good. Some very small issues found, the filter thread breaks/crumbles very easily, happened within the first 3 months of use. Little bits of the plastic filter thread circulated passed the pumps and are now blocking some of the smaller jets. Also, one of the jet nozzles broke pretty early as well (within 1 month). Otherwise, it has been easy to use and a pleasure to have.

I recently got a Precision 8 Master Spa. My wife wanted one. They had a sale going on at the Arena in town. It’s good so far. The customer service was great, and the unit was good.
But I would warn them about the chemicals. As a first time buyer, they sold us a box of chemicals for over $300. It was pretty high-priced. They told us that it was for a year's supply, but most stuff in the box was already out when we were six months into it.

Master Spas had what we wanted, and it was at the right price. We use it for bed and breakfast accommodation. We just bought it in April, but then it stopped working. So, I immediately called for service, and it took a while.
Then they finally said that it's probably the plug, but they ordered all the parts. And because it was under warranty, it took forever to get the parts. One of my customers was really upset because the hot tub wasn't working. Then she gave me a really low score on Airbnb.
I like the spa. It's really nice, and it's been easy to take care of and maintain. The fellow I work with, Jay, was really nice. He does a good job, and he's been very helpful to me. As soon as he got it, he came out and fixed it.
The only concern was about the parts. And that anything under warranty should be just as fast as things that aren't under warranty. Other than that, we're very happy.

A friend of mine has a Master Spas and I liked it. I got one and it works great. But the controller failed already and the little round knob on the device started jumping. I had them replace it and they did a great job but it’s doing it again. Other than that, the customer service was great and they took care of the issue within reasonable timeframe. I’m worried about the product being long-lasting but I’d still recommend it. It comes with a great warranty so it takes some of the worry away.

We had been looking around at different places, and then Master Spas had a convention in Conroe. We purchased it from there. So far, so good.
We previously had an issue. They gave us the runaround about the part that wasn’t coming in and we knew better because we looked online and they had it. The serviceman got sick so we had to postpone for a while. Eventually it got resolved and doing good.
We’re enjoying it. I told some of our friends about it and they had bought one from someplace else and they were so disappointed.

We were researching for hot tubs in the area, and my husband came across a warehouse sale. We had talked to a couple of people who had had one in the past, and they said that their Master Spas held up really well.
The delivery was fine however the guy made it seem like the outside cover would pop off easy to get to the manual and to set up the electric and everything. It could have been explained how it would feel and what the best way to take that off is because it felt like we were breaking the side. We ended up breaking a clip and had to pay to get that replaced. But other than that, it’s okay.
Five guys came, but the one that explained all of the chemicals and the whole setup was wonderful. I like his personality and the way he answered the questions and explained was wonderful.

My wife read about Master Spas online and liked what she read. We purchased it from a place near Saratoga Springs. They came and they installed it. It went well and so far, so good. The old spa that we had lasted 20 years. My friend who installs spas and pools looked at the Master Spa and he said that they use some cheap parts and that it’s not gonna last nearly as long as 20 years. But so far, we’re happy with it and that’s all that counts. There were a couple of parts missing and we contacted the seller. It took a while, but we did get the parts.

We love our new hot tub. It's perfect size for our new porch we added. The jets are fantastic. Delivery was great and so far we are really enjoying it. It was just what we were looking for since we didn't need anything huge. Fits in the corner nicely with its design.

Everything done on schedule. Very happy with our hot tub out our back door. No problems, only enjoyment. Utility bill may be higher than expected. So far our 110v has been just fine! Looking forward to the cool evenings of fall to enjoy this even more.

Love our swim spa but communication overall has been less than ideal. Info regarding set up and chemicals has been confusing and contradictory. Not thrilled that swim Jets only stay on 15 minutes at a time, but apparently that's mandated. Just wish we had been informed regarding that. Electrician was nice and didn't charge to return when we suspected trouble upon start up and Jets shutting off.

The spa has plenty of power and overall performs well, but I’ve encountered several issues:
•Pump overheating: Required a service call due to pumps shutting down with console errors. The solution offered was to avoid using factory settings, which seems like a workaround rather than a fix.
•Water leak: A leak in the pump area traced back to improper assembly at the factory.
•Jet design flaw (required replacement in September): The large “foot massage” jet isn’t built to handle the pump’s torque if closed, leading to breakage. I was advised not to use the close feature — essentially not using the equipment as designed. Overall, it’s a powerful spa, but quality control and design issues have been disappointing.

Hot tub is working great and use it quite a bit. Sales guy emailed me and text me everyday when I was close to purchase, which I appreciate given he is in sales but haven’t heard a word since I bought the tub which given I spent 20k I think an email or text on how things were going with the new equipment would have been appreciated. Anyways no big deal but won't be coming back to buy equipment or chemicals and all it would have taken was a quick text

Parts keep coming off let keep blinking and app getting disconnected. Jets have to be turned on one at the time to get powerful jet. Designed for tall persons so my head do not reach the pillow and the lounge is too large as well and there is no local support in my area. Salesperson told me if I need any service or question we have to call and pay to get service.

You have very poor customer service. It took forever to get my tub and then I got the wrong one. It took awhile to get the right one. I've had service guys to fix it twice now and experience the same stuff again. I enjoy my hot tub when it's working but I do not like your company. I would love my money.

The quality of the Master Spa that I bought is great. When I purchased it, before it arrived, their customer service was great, too. But after it arrived, it went downhill. They cost me an additional $1700 in electrical work. When I pre-planned this whole deal, I had a concrete slab board, I had electrical lines run 'cause I wanted a clean look.
I asked them to send me their schematics and their drawings so that my contractors would know what to do, where to stop the lines. What they sent me is what I gave to my contractor but what they sent me was not correct. I had to have the contractor come back out.
I also bought this extra Wi-Fi Gecko thing that allows you to control the spa from your app or from your phone. Still, to this day, it's not working. They sent me something last week. I've got to call my cable company or my internet company, and see if they can help fix it.
Then the communication with the store that I bought it from was not very great. I ended up calling the Katy store and getting good communication from them. I worked with a guy named John and he's been great. But they called me last week 'cause they wanna make it right. But they didn’t want to give me a refund for the second filter set that I bought. But they offered to give me a set of filters, or some chemicals.
These aren't little hot tubs. For me, this is a $70,000 purchase, 50 grand for the spa itself, and then I spent another $20,000 on concrete, electrical, all this other stuff. If you spent that kind of money, things should have gone a lot better and a lot smoother.

I was looking for a swim spa and went with Master Spas. So far, it's going good. I like the swimming feature in place. The spa doesn't come with any more on Bluetooth, so they gave a radio instead.

When we set up the purchase, the rep at Master Spas was lovely. The installers were awesome as well. It was a 95-degree day, and it was so hot, but they were quick and did everything wonderfully. They were still positive even in that crazy heat.

I went to the pool and spa show in Glens Falls. I walked in, saw what I liked, and it took about just three minutes for me to decide to buy from Master Spas. They had great guys who did the delivery. They did a great job in record time. They delivered it by trailer and unloaded it, placed it in place, and set it all up ready to go. We had the pad put down and pay for it separately. The spa has smart features. It’s got the rowing feature. It's got all sorts of goodies, and I love it all. If anyone asks, I'd tell them Master Spas have great people and I had a very smooth transition.

Master Spas had a few options that I could add that I thought would make it an okay tub. I also didn't like any small company all the way. I went with Master Spas and they installed a 7-foot therapy tub. The service was good and I like that I have the tub in the backyard.

I went to a civic center where Master Spas was having a hot tub show. When we went in, we saw the unit we decided on. I have one issue with it, though. Overall, I like it. The one thing that is odd is how the floor on the bottoms are rough. One of the steps is not smooth. Also, the padded steps that they put on top of it won't stick because somebody screwed up when they were manufacturing and made that one step rough. All the others are smooth on both sides, and that one isn't. So, I thought quality control should have picked up on that.

We have enjoyed our Master Spas Swim Spa Challenger 15D for the most part. It is functional and overall works well. There seems to be a few minor design flaws - touch screen does not work well when hands are wet (it is a pool - hands are always wet!) And I seem to have handles and jets rusting with a stream running down staining the side of the spa after only having it 4 months. I have no idea why this is happening. Low quality parts? Not sure. I am still learning how to use many aspects of it and am probably barely scratching the surface of functions it has, and feel like I am starting to get the water chemistry down. The kids love to play and splash. I love to swim. It works well for swim training. We do love it so far.

There was no manual provided with the spa right off the bat or installation instructions. As such, I built the deck specific for it, including locating the electrical source with the only knowledge of what location the plug in was (I was told that by the delivery personnel). I then compounded that problem by locating the control panel, which is small and not easy to read, on the back side of the deck because I didn't know that the plug in was as long as it is, so our guests have to read the panel upside down. Three times now, our guests have put the tub to sleep accidentally. Your online manual tells how to put to sleep but not how to start it again. We had to go to Reddit to find out. I do not like your product and would never buy again from your dealer. I never write criticism, but my anger is just too much.

Very disappointed with literally zero communication after the sale; it’s as you saying ok we made the sale, close the books and move on…. I’ve worked sales all my life as a Realtor, and always continued to follow up with my clients after the sale to find how things were going, if there was anything additional I could do for them, and always ask if I could be of any assistance with their family and friends.
A large part of my business was built on referrals, and by always keeping in touch with my past clients I always had a abundance of new clients from referrals; I was given referrals by my past clients because they knew I cared so much about them by following up that they trusted me that I do the same for their family and friends in looking out in their best interest and not just there to make the sale and never here from me again. That’s what I now feel about the sales staff at Master Spas who initially helped us out during the sale, then only to go silent after the sale with zero communication.
It’s really hurts Master Spas for I’ve been asked many times who we bought our hot tub from, if I would recommend who we bought our hot tub from, are we happy who we bought our hot tub from .... and we replied back to all those questions with an astounding NO…. Master Spas and those who made the initial sales LOSS for their line of referrals from us stopped at the point of sale with absolute zero communication from them after the sale…
Just saying from a person who worked as a Realtor much of their life working smarter not harder by simply keeping touch with my clients, showing them I really truly cared about them, and for that the referrals from them kept coming my way; a simple practice you all should start doing, but perhaps your just satisfied by spending gobs of money advertising, working harder, and wondering and hoping when and where your next sale is coming from. Worst purchase of my life. They delivered it damaged and said they would contact us to repair it. Never heard from them again. They promised it took little to no maintenance and that was a lie. The amount of lies we were told in order for us to purchase their top model is more than upsetting. I would not do business with them and am now out over $16000 and have to deal with this horrifically ugly thing sitting at my house, sucking down electricity.

Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever seen. They dropped our hot tub from a truck on delivery, totally incompetent. There were scars and damage from the drop that they acknowledged on the delivery paperwork. They said they'd fix it, but 10 months in, they've done nothing. I call weekly, they say they will respond within 24 hours and never call. $25,000. They are horrible. If you buy from them, you're as stupid as I am. Bad, bad, bad company.

I purchased my tub less that a year ago and granted we do love it and use it often there are a few issues with it, first off less than a month the control panel went out. They sent a service guy out and it took over 5 weeks to get it repaired, second we have had to purchase multiple massaging foot jet replacements due to the cheap plastic cracking and breaking off so when you put the jets on it floats to the top and then there is no power to the other just 'cause of the large gaping whole that the jet left open, I now purchase 2 jets at a time to keep one always available for replacements and that is a $97.00 cost that we accrue ever few months and the company has not been of any assistance in fixing or offering replacements for free or at a reduced rate. Not real happy but can't afford to replace the tub for a new one.

We purchased a swim spa two years ago, and the surface has developed serious cracks. It’s been eight weeks since we first contacted customer service, and we still haven’t received any real help. A technician came about a week after our initial call and took photos. Since then, we’ve made multiple follow-up calls, but all we get is voicemail and no callbacks. On July 28th, I was told the issue isn’t covered under warranty—but whether it is or not, what matters most is getting support to fix the problem. The cracks are getting worse every day due to sun and heat exposure. We’ve asked repeatedly for guidance on how to repair the damage and prevent it from happening again, but no one has helped. Every time we call, we’re transferred to a technician who never responds.

My wife she saw an advertisement on Facebook about the expo where we learned about Master Spas. We purchased from them October of last year and the process was very easy. Set-up and delivery were very easy as well, and so far, we like our spa. We've used it a lot and the quality is good. It's easy to use and I don't have any complaints about it at all.

I like the size of the spa. The only thing is that I don't like the buttons that you push. But we like the spa. The size was the key because we had to bring it in to a room and had to go through our doors. So, that's why we like the size that we got. I love the quality. I use it every day. I have fibromyalgia and it's very soothing on my body.

My mom had Master Spas for several years and she had no problems. So, it’s better to stick with what works, and I got my spa from them as well. It fits six people comfortably. It has lots of great jets. It's a good spa. We got it from Spas and More! in St. Louis, and their customer service has always been great. Overall, it's a great product and easy maintenance. They're a little pricier but sometimes price comes with quality.

Master Spas was running a lot of YouTube ads for an event they were having near where I live and that led me to go to that event where I bought stuff from them. Everybody there was very helpful and to get the financing was real easy. The delivery and setup part were fantastic, and I was very impressed with the two guys who came out. I've told anybody who mentions they're thinking about getting a spa to come out and look at Master Spas. Also, I'm going to buy a sauna here, hopefully, in the next six months, and when I do that, I'll probably buy it through Master Spas as well.

Working with the team at Master Spas was quite frustrating. I ordered a swim spa, hot tub, and chiller, only to find out that the chiller was external to the unit after I'd redone the concrete in my backyard. It required additional costs for an air conditioner pad for the chiller. Furthermore, the spa arrived in December, and the initial fill with antifreeze caused cloudy water. It wasn't until much later that I discovered I needed to pump and refill the unit, costing me a significant amount in unnecessary chemicals.
After refilling, both the swim spa and the hot tub work great, with no issues. However, the initial lack of transparency and inadequate service were disappointing, drawing out the time before I could fully use the product to around four months. While I'm pleased with the product quality and would rate that a 5, dealing with the service and installation process was highly frustrating and would rate that much lower.
If you're considering Master Spas, I recommend the products but not the dealership where I purchased them. They dropped the ball on sharing essential setup information, which led to preventable headaches. Although I would recommend the spa itself, my experience with the purchase and setup process was an ordeal I'd prefer others to avoid.

My husband and I decided to buy a hot tub from Master Spas. My husband first spotted their advertisement promoting a spa sale, which appealed to us. Your recent "upgrade" to the Control my Spa APP was terrible! The older version was much better and I cannot fathom why you haven't decided to either back out, or fix this new APP. Backing out would be an update to the existing.
Greg- Master Spas does not use the "Control My Spa" App - that is a balboa wifi app system that would not work with any system we place in our spas. It’s difficult to maintain a good chemical balance. Requires much more chemicals and maintenance than our previous spa did. But overall we enjoy using it. Jets could be more powerful. Appearance wise it looks very nice and the color options were great. Easy to open and closer cover.

When we went to purchase our Spa in 2022 everything was great! However as soon as we signed the papers they let us know there was a 12-16 week wait for the Spa to be delivered. When we were unhappy with this and tried to cancel the contract (we were still in the store, ink not dry on the paper) they said too bad, you will forfeit the deposit- which was already paid SECONDS before. We waited 16 weeks for the Spa, it was just dropped off in the yard, no set up or support.
We are now 3 years in, the neck pads fell off with in 3 weeks, the speakers/bluetooth sound system stopped working with in 6 months, the control pad "sticker" came off with in 2 years. The jets barely work, waterfall stopped working within a year, the jet things pop out all the time. And when we asked for help/guidance/support/warranty they passed us around like a cheap bottle of wine. Total waste of money and time- do not purchase from these people- go to a small company that wants your business and will support you when needed. Buying a hot tub was pretty monumental for our family- thanks for ruining the experience World of Spas!

We have had nothing but problems with the side panels coming off of our Master Spas. The company is difficult to work with and wants to blame the problem on everything but their workmanship. We have had the panels repaired several times and they continue to pop out/off. Not acceptable for what you pay for a spa. The dealer in Rocklin, California is useless. You have to try and work through the company but they basically wash their hands of the issue and don't care if it is repaired correctly.

I bought an H2X 15D Trainer from a distributor in Calif. The unit was competitively priced, and it has many attractive features. When the spa is clean and working, it’s great and we enjoy the ability to get our exercise. But the experience has not met expectations. The wait time to receive it was forecast at 4 months, but took longer than 5 months to receive. When the delivery came, the crew did not know which end the electrical should be close to, so it got placed backwards by the crane and they had to make a run for more electrical cable to finish the installation, but they did get it done. After they were done, I found assembly flaws that were reported such as loose screws that fell out or were not tightened. The orientation and training were minimal and not enough information was shared. No manual was delivered at time of install, I had to ask for that from the dealer, who sent me a link, no paper copy. A paper copy was requested.
The installation crew informed me that they did not have all the chemicals required to be provided in the starter kit. They said they would tell the distributor sales rep. I never heard that from the sales rep, and after sending three reminders and me reporting to them what was delivered, I still have not received the missing items. I did get shock packs, Chlorine floaters and Chlorine refills, but the Test Strips, Spa Up, Spa Down, Metal Gone, or Calcium Booster that is to be included have never been provided. There are no great instructions on maintenance or how to leave you spa for a week without maintenance. I’m not sure the filters operate to specification and have asked for help with that.
The dealer is always quick to point out that the warranty does not include the 3 hours travel time to my house. That fact gets used as an excuse to avoid having to come out and assist with issues. As a result of poor support, I have had two expensive Algae problems costing me $1200 to correct. As far as support goes, the dealer is not responsive, and even when they do respond, they don’t follow through. Overall, I don’t feel I got the value that was offered, especially with the support.

We purchased our hot tub 3 years ago. We purchased after we tested just about every type. It was definitely the best fit for us. Our concern was the service as the store is 6-7 hours away. I attended a home and garden show where I discovered Master Spas. Their promotional sales booth piqued my interest, leading me to conduct some research on their products right there. Admittedly, I can't recall the exact model I chose, but it's a six-person spa featuring built-in lounge seats with massaging jets. The size was a perfect fit for us, fitting plenty of space for a small group, and the diverse jet settings were appealing.
The spa has three different jet settings, with both upper and lower jets, allowing for a comfortable lounging experience rather than just sitting upright. Both my wife and I work physically demanding outdoor jobs, and having the ability to relax in our spa by the end of the day has truly transformed our evening routine. It improved our sleep and alleviated morning soreness since we started using it.

I tried Master Spas, hoping for a seamless experience, but it turned out to be more complex than initially communicated by their team. During the purchase, I was informed that only a scoop of chlorine each week would suffice for maintenance. However, it became apparent that I needed additional chemicals to prevent the water from turning green. The information given initially was not transparent, leading to unexpected additional costs for maintenance chemicals. Despite this, the product itself is working well, and I thoroughly enjoy it. Our experience with their customer service has been quite positive. They were helpful when we called with questions, and they were quick to respond when a part broke during the installation. Fortunately, they came out and fixed it right away.
As for the installation itself, it could have been handled better. I ended up doing at least half of it myself. The delivery guys were nice enough, but the process would have been smoother if they were better prepared.
Currently, we're enjoying the spa, and everything seems to be running smoothly. Overall, I'd give my experience a 4-star.

I went to a hot tub exposition held at the Saint Charles Convention Center where I was introduced to a local store in Saint Louis showcasing hot tubs. I ended up purchasing a Clarity model from Master Spas, and the setup and delivery were seamless; the two installation guys did a commendable job leveling the hot tub and explaining everything thoroughly. I really appreciate several aspects of the model I purchased, including its quiet operation and sturdy design. There's virtually no vibration, which means you can comfortably place a drink on the surface without it moving around. We haven't owned it for too long, but so far, we’re having a great experience and seize every opportunity to enjoy it.

My husband said that we were a little misled by Master Spas because it was a clearance model for the year. They said there was a new model year coming out, but they told us that this spa really was kind of self-sufficient and didn't really need any chemicals. But when they came and installed it, the guys that installed it said they love when salespeople tell people that because it absolutely needs to be shocked, and I'm constantly balancing the chlorine and the pH and the alkaline. But they had said that this particular spa, you didn't need to do that with. He said that that wasn't unusual for people who've been misled from a show. Other than that, we've had a good experience with Master Spas. I still have the phone number of the specialist that installed it for us, and if we text him any questions, he's quick to respond. It's been a positive experience. We would buy another one.

I selected an 8-person spa from Master Spas, partly due to a special deal available that day. This feature alongside the spacious seating was appealing, especially since it included numerous jets, regardless of not recalling the exact count.
Quality-wise, I'm quite satisfied overall. The spa operates efficiently and meets expectations, though the button to activate the jets can be a bit stubborn, requiring more force than preferred.

The customer service provided by Master Spas was exceptional; they ensured everything was handled efficiently. The spa installation went smoothly, handled by another company that took care of all wiring to meet code standards, leaving it looking great.
However, there was a bit of a hiccup on my side. I was unaware that I needed to level the hot tub myself. I only discovered this necessity after filling it up. Eventually, I drained the spa and with a friend's assistance, leveled it by putting blocks underneath the outer edge.
Overall, my experience with Master Spas was very satisfying, and I am happy to share my experience here.

I got a six-person spa from Master Spas. They delivered it and then I hired the electrician to pre-wire everything. The electrician actually hooked it up as well. Right now, it's got some sort of leak where we can't keep water in it. So, in the time that we've owned it for the past six months now, we have used it very sparingly. The leak is an ongoing issue. They've been out and told me I overfilled it. That they took some water out and it did not solve the problem. But now, when we turned it on, it just spews water out the bottom. So, they have been called. They called back and said, “We'll get somebody out to take a look at it.” But the tub itself is fine.

I chose Master Spas, and overall, everything went well with my purchase. The process of getting in touch with them regarding maintenance and other matters has been smooth. One thing worth noting was the installation, which wasn't quite as expected. The delivery was made by two guys with a trailer, and since it was the largest spa model they offer, both my wife and I had to assist them in getting it off the trailer and into place. It seemed a bit challenging, and I felt they might have struggled without our help, though they assured us they could manage.

So far, my experience with Master Spas has been quite easy and fulfilling. My husband, who has a labor-intensive job, finds relief from his arthritis pain on his shoulders, back, and ankles after a long day at work, which is quite beneficial.
The spa we chose is comfortable for around 6 to 7 people. It has about five jets, along with a special seat that provides more targeted massage jets for the back, legs, and calves. There are also a couple of waterfall features, which adds a relaxing element. Keeping the spa clean has been surprisingly simple; adding a shock treatment each time we use it has dramatically helped maintain cleanliness without much hassle.

The hot tub seems to be of high quality. However, I seldom use it, maybe every two or three weeks. My primary concern is maintenance, which is more than I anticipated. It involves frequent chemical checks, washing the filters, and changing the water—tasks which I didn't anticipate to be as involved as they are.
Having owned a pool in the past, I find the maintenance to be on a similar level, though initially, I envisioned the experience to be as carefree as those I've had with hot tubs on vacation. Unfortunately, those maintenance tasks add another thing I need to handle, making me reconsider its value from a long-term investment perspective. While I commend the product's quality, if I had to choose again, I'm uncertain if I'd make the same decision.

We purchased a Chilly GOAT Cold Plunge from World of Spas in December 2023. Sales and delivery were great, but customer service since then has been a nightmare. The unit froze just a few months in. The chiller was replaced but still didn’t work — turned out to be just a fuse. The following winter it froze again. We were told it was fine this winter because it was just a few last and this time the compressor and UV light both burst. We were quoted $2,600 and told parts would arrive in 2–4 weeks.
Four weeks went by with no updates. After chasing them down, we found out they ordered the wrong part. A contractor (not even a World of Spas employee) went out of his way to fix things. Drove three hours and picked up the right part over the weekend. Somehow he was able to get it so quick while the actual company ignored us. Even then the service guy after taking $2600 did not check to see if the machine was running. It’s not he also left parts of the old unit inside the machine behind the siding inserts.
We still have a leaking UV light housing and no working unit. Also tried to say it may be my alternator. It’s not I know what an alternator looks like and there’s nowhere near the leaking part. No one returns calls. Voicemail is full. Emails are ignored. Terrible service after the sale. I’ve called multiple days. Left messages at the front desk at this point. I just want to know if they have a part in store so I can get it and install it myself cause I know they won’t. I just want my machine running.

My husband and I purchased a Master Spas Twilight 6.2 in 2021. I had researched reviews and it seemed that most people had good things to say about the product. I was very interested in protecting our investment as it is an expensive hot tub, so I read and followed all the guidelines of maintenance and care. Within two months, jets started to break. The foot jet at this point has broken 8-9 times. We have had trouble with the electrical (though in fairness that may have been the fault of the electrician, though that is the only issue that wasn't a result of the poor quality of this product). We have had to have the touch panel replaced as it stopped working. And now less than four years later, it is leaking from the bottom. The warranties are very short for much of the product and it would seem because it is poorly made. I cannot in good conscience recommend this product and deeply regret having purchased it.

The tub is performing fine but it always smells hot after a few rounds of bubbles. The dealer is the problem. We are still waiting for a top that works for our tub and we purchased the tub on 9/27/2024. It’s been very frustrating. But we are stuck with a tub we can’t use until the top arrives.

First of all let me start by saying, buying our tub from Master Spas is one of the bigger mistakes we have made. From the time we left the display showroom until today, it's been one issue after another. They DO NOT stand by their products. We have had our tub 18 months and have already been through one control panel and less than 8 months later the second control panel doesn't work properly. Calling Master Spas and speaking with their customer service people is like calling someone who you are bothering. Just to schedule a service appointment cost you $250 upfront for a part that still hasn't worked well since we had the tub installed back last November. Again the item is under warranty, BUT it's not under their service warranty? Sounds shady to me. One would think a company would stand by their products less than two years old.
Second tubs only work with their filters, most tubs use universal filters. Their filters cost more than the market standard. It was amazing the customer service we received when we were in the sales room. This place is like a used car dealership that when you leave the lot you become a "Who are you?" when you have a problem. If you are looking for a Tub try Great Escape, you might have better luck.
We regret you had such a poor experience with your spa. It sounds like your warranty service may have been covered for parts and labor, however your travel fee from your servicer may not have been covered? This is outlined in your limited warrantee in the back of your owner's manual. We've been looking for a hot tub, so we went up to the KCI Spa Expo and got a pretty good deal on Master Spas. It's got 15 to 20 jets, and you can seat six people in it, if you wanted to. The whole family loves it. Most of them have been here and seen it. They all like coming over and getting in it, so it's been a good experience.
It's top of the line, and it's done us great. It's been almost a year, and we haven't had problems. But it takes a lot of work. We're learning it, figuring out how to keep it level and all that.

I got a five-seater at Master Spas. It's got 48 jets and lights. We saw it in an expo in the Ozarks.They did a good job in the installation, and I had no problems.But their representative wasn't 100% truthful. There was something that wasn't right, but I don’t remember.

We went to a hot tub expo and Master Spas was there. Then, we purchased a hot tub. It was delivered on November 20th. Setup was fine. The installers drop it off and then they had to come back. They did not get the cover right. Then, it has had some jet issues, like coming loose and falling off their sockets. It is my understanding that everything is under warranty for five years. It costed a lot, and I hope that it was a good value.

I had the best experience. My spa is wonderful!! I suffer from migraines and this has definitely help. I wouldn’t change this for anything! I enjoy swimming or just relaxing in the spa. There are many days I am in the spa. My son who doesn’t like water has enjoyed go in there.

Apparently overfilling the spa caused a failure of the ozone generator. The check valve in the ozone outlet tube did not function properly, allowing the generator to flood and fail. There is no maximum fill line on the spa and the manual did not specify a maximum fill level. The spa was down and sub-zero weather was rapidly approaching. The local service agent was not available for two weeks but the dealer quickly found another service rep much closer to me. It was promptly repaired and all has been good since then. The spa is very good and I love the foot jets for hydrotherapy.
The only improvement to the spa I would like would be to allow diversion of flow from the 6 hp pump to one foot jet only. That would be truly therapeutic for very stiff lower body muscles, especially in rehabilitation form accidents and/or joint replacement surgery. If you could made that upgrade kit for my spa I would buy it. I would have given 5 stars if not for the ozone generator failure.

Not exactly a luxury spa - very glaring design errors.
1. The biggest issue we have is that all the headrests, dials, etc. have all bleached from the chlorine. This happened within the first month (it looked like a 10 year old spa by the end of month 1).
2. The speaker/sound system is lousy and a real after thought. The separate remote is clumsy. It should have been built into the spa controls. And the sound quality is not great. You are far better off just getting a regular waterproof speaker off of Amazon.
3. The WiFI module is a complete rip off and not worth its money. Again it is a separate module, but all it allows you to do is see the current temp and change the temp manually. How hard would it be to have some advanced features like saving you money by being able to put it in vacation mode. It didn't have the ability to add schedules originally, but it is there now. It is a pretty clunky app.
4. We have the 8' by 9' model and the pumps are no where near strong enough. Turning on certain jets means others lose way too much power in other jets. We got the larger tub so we could have lots of people over, but when we do, not everyone can have their jets on.
5. The design of the outer sides of the tub is incredibly poor. The PVC is warping. And they didn't make it easy at all to access the pump and electrical for servicing, etc. I have to completely unbolt the lid bracket from the tub to be able to take off the side of the tub. And the corner pieces don't fit back together neatly. And all of it is warping.
I would not recommend this manufacturer and certainly won't ever buy another one.

I've been having several problems with my tub from its delivery. Have made multiple attempts to get them resolved but I've been pushed off and none of the issues have yet to be addressed, fixed, or replaced. Lights in the tub won't come on. A valve is cracked and is leaking. The yellow filter insert was broken by the installer and never replaced.

We bought the Phelps 8'x8' spa for a whopping $17,000. The plastic chrome around the jets is a cheap product that has corrosion issues. We reached out to the local dealer where purchased and it was an argument from the start. They did send new jets BUT I have to pay someone to install them. Considering the price, the product and support has been disappointing. Would I recommend to my golf pals, NO.

The servicer might not have explained Jets are one of the only parts of your warranty that doesn't cover service since jets are simply pop in and pop out and are simple for any owner to do! About 40 days into ownership the water stropped being filtered and then on May 23 the pump stopped working. Three weeks out and I still cannot get someone to come and repair the spa. The dealer is hard to reach, they seldom return calls, you have to be lucky to get someone to pick up the phone when you call. It has been a very bad experience with the product and the support service.

I have owned a number of different spas and I have to say that my Master Spa (twilight series) is by far the best. It targets all the areas of the body depending on what seat you choose. The jets are very powerful and you have the ability to adjust to your liking. I highly recommend!

If I could rate this zero stars it would still be too many. I have had NOTHING but issues with the payments being processed on the billing side, the installers said everything should be fine but it continues to blow the fuses... Just issues.

We had a wonderful sales lady in the beginning. She helped us pick a hot tub that we really wanted. The problem came after that. We had to keep calling after the weeks passed when the hot tub should have been delivered. We then got the wrong hot tub delivered that looked nothing like the show room. We were told there is nothing they can do. It's the new model and we should be grateful. Then we didn't get all the filters and chemicals for it because it was the new version. We called and they said they will ship them. It's been 5 months and still nothing. We are not happy with how anything was handled. So it changed our view of Master Spas.

Master Spas had some kind of open house sale at a city near me. They showed their various models in the category I was looking at. The sales reps were Informational. They're pleasant and took the time to deal with us. I didn't feel any pressure. I was very comfortable with them. I like the product, so I ended up buying one. The published pricing was quite a bit more than what we paid.
The spa has 2 pumps. It's supposed to hold seven people. I think four or five would be the limit to be comfortable unless you have a bunch of kids in there. It's well-constructed. It was installed last October. Even with many days of very cold temperatures, running the pumps a couple hours a day kept it hot all the time. I never got in and had to wait for it to heat up. It doesn't run that much, and it's very well insulated. And I was worried about pipes freezing and all that because it sits outside. It's right out my back door. But I have no issues.

We looked at a couple of different brands and did some price checks. For the tub we got from Master Spas, we made a good choice. Everything went smoothly. We like our tub and we enjoy everything about it. The major thing is feeling relaxed and getting the opportunity to use it. I keep it at a little bit cooler temperature, so we could sit in it longer because we don’t wanna be getting lightheaded from the heat.

My experience with Master Spas was uneventful. It was a referral from a friend. We did the purchasing on the phone. I had already picked out what I wanted. They came out and delivered it and got everything in place. We set it up on our own. The sales representative had given us the specs for the electricity, and then he just went over the steps of what I needed to do.
I’m in it almost every day. There are different degrees of jets. Some of them are therapeutic. The quality is good. It’s a little bit higher price than you see other spas, but you get more for the price that you’re paying.

Everything was great with Master Spa except for their third party that they used to finance it. So, I refinanced our spa right away, but we paid it off. Then the third party financing company sent us a bill for a few cents with added interest to it. It was a scam to me, so I reported that to Master Spa because they need to know who they're doing business with, and what they're exposing their customers to. Once they turn over the financing part to them, they're out of the loop on the payment part.
There was an issue on the breaker connecting the spa. We talked to someone at Master Spa who helped us troubleshoot that. We replaced the breaker and that solved our issue. Our spa worked wonderfully after that. We use it frequently, and its turbo jet feature is great.

Financing is done at sales time by the dealership selling your unit - we want you to have a good experience, and if you need we will endeavor to communicate to this to that financing company by asking you dealer to assist. I was a little disappointed with the competency of Master Spa’s delivery team and service technician. There was a LED light that went out on it. The service technician that came out and serviced it left some of his own tools at my place. When he reinstalled one of the side panels, he put it on crooked, and left one screw out. That is just poor workmanship. However, the product continues to meet my expectations. It hasn't had any breakdowns.

The customer service at Master Spas is excellent. My favorite feature of the spa is the mineral portion of the water. It’s not chlorine.

The delivery guys were perfect. I couldn’t have been happier, especially as late as it was and with the fact that it was raining. They still got here, pushed the hot tub over to our backyard, and set it up. They stayed positive, explained everything clearly, and got us set up. Since we had never owned one before, we were kind of clueless at first, but they kind of lined me out on what needed to be done and all that jazz.
