I purchased a lawn mower on March 22, 2024. After one time use, the blades stopped engaging. Rather than get the new mower serviced, I contacted Lowe's to replace it. I asked if they can pick up the old mower and drop off the new mower. Ron in delivery assured me they would do that. A truck came today to pick up the broken mower but they did not have the replacement. A call was made to Lowe's manager Dan who stated that policy is to deliver replacement only after broken mower received. We informed Dan we would pick up the replacement today and he stated that would be good. When my husband went to pick up replacement, he was told can’t since broke mower not received. Trucking company stated they advised Lowe's of the pick up including a picture. Lowe's manager Dan kept talking about their policy, however, it seems hr is the only one who knows the policy and he does not know how to articulate such to employees or customers.

The absolute worst. They sent a obviously broken product by FedEx. The product can only be returned to the store. They deliberately make returns difficult. Shop at Home Depot. Lowe's has a rack of negative reviews on this site and others for a reason, incompetence and greed. They don't care about their customers. When they go out of business don't feel bad, rejoice. Lowe’s has changed their return policy. I was refused a return today because I didn’t have a receipt. Now I shop here at least 2x a week as I run a handyman service, I don’t always have the receipts or cards with me. I was advised Lowe’s changed their policy mid March. The store manager refused my returns and told me there’s nothing I can do. I did go home and pulled my Lowe’s 2023 total I spent there and it was $18949. Advised her that I’ll Be taking My business to anywhere but Lowe’s and will direct my customers to buy materials from any competitors but Lowe’s also. Look me up Lowe’s. I was once a frequent customer.

There are a great deal of people here to help you. It's all downhill from there. We purchased a bathroom cabinet and top. Got their credit card. They shipped the wrong cabinet. They picked it up and told us the cabinet we ordered didn’t exist. Keep in mind their employee wrote up the order. We were able to get a replacement cabinet from Home Depot. Not as nice but it was the correct size. Next we open the cabinet top we got from Lowe's and it was shipped broken. It was replaced but now I've paid my contractor for 3 trips not 1 and delayed the project by weeks. By now I should have received credit for the cabinet that was returned but I can't check my account for some screwy reason. It's a password user ID mess. At this point I say screw the credit and just want a refund. I don’t think I will ever shop here again.

It's hard to overstate how bad our experience with Lowe's installing our front door was. Several weeks into waiting and after paying, they updated us that the door was not even still being made. We waited months for nothing. We chose a different door and moved forward. Then they installed it several weeks later and forgot to give us half of the screw cover caps (and they are of course out of stock on the manufacturer page, and they sell for a big markup on other sites). They also chipped stucco off of the front of the home by the door frame, which we now have to repaint.

Much worse, the installers forgot to notify anyone the door needed the final permit inspection by the city. After waiting a while, I checked in with my local store and the rep said the inspection was coming. The rep obviously didn't even look up the status or he'd have seen the installer had not notified anyone it was ready for an inspection. Almost two months later, with the door sitting with exposed studs inside the whole time as is required waiting for a permit, I called the national number and they discovered no inspection had even been requested.

Finally, it got that inspection and passed. Lowe's came back out to add the trim, and we asked for the missing screw covers but they said too bad, the installer didn't have any. They finished installing the trim which they beat up a lot in the process. They didn't cover any of the frame screws (those don't come with covers). The door looks mediocre and beat up all around the frame even though it is brand new.

Because this all took so long, we were at that point selling our home. The national Lowe's rep completely ignored the title company emails and almost caused our closing to be cancelled because the title company couldn't get confirmation from Lowe's that the door was done with no balance due. We couldn't prove it had no balance due because for reasons no one at Lowe's could explain, the price listed on the contract was one cent higher than the amount Lowe's charged our Lowe's card (we didn't set that amount—Lowe's did, and somehow they screwed up paying themselves). Because the contract price appeared higher than what Lowe's charged, it looked like we owed one cent. And since Lowe's was completely unresponsive in confirming no balance was due, we were down to hours left before our closing was cancelled.

Lowe's didn't even respond then, even after I called the national number and the store. Several days AFTER the deadline, the Lowe's rep who was supposed to respond finally answered the title company. Fortunately, the title company let the one cent go and our closing was not cancelled from it. Lowe's did almost everything wrong. And no one cared. No one made it right. Terrible experience, and I will not have Lowe's install anything ever again. I'm not sure I'll even shop there. NEVER HAVE LOWE'S INSTALL ANYTHING. RUN. RUN FAST.

Good morning. This particular review is not being provided to speak of one of the Lowe's stores in general although I am compelled to speak of a certain person in general and how he conducted himself at the Lowe's store in Anderson, SC (Highway 28 bypass). The gentlemans' name is **. I walked into the store to pick up an order and ** was at counter. He happened to be on the phone at the moment and I could not help but notice how professional he was speaking to the person on the other end. When he hung up the phone he was immediately prompted to request a favor from one of the his employed associates asking them if they could do something for him.. and of course the person replied "no problem." ** then looked at me and kindly said "how may I help you sir"..? He called receiving to ask for someone and the person was not present at that time so he said to me that he would go back to pick up my order.

In a few minutes he returned with my order and suggested that we open the box to see if the contents was what I had ordered and make sure that it was not damaged. I had to ask him if he was one of the managers and he politely said no with a smile.. and I politely said with a smile.. "Well you should be because you have all the professional qualifications and you know how to work with people and you know how to treat a customer." I must say that this gentleman (**) has been overlooked and should be placed into some type of managerial position. He would be an asset to all.

Lowe's has now sunk to an all-time low with their veteran rewards program. Not only have they removed many items from being allowed to be discounted to veterans, but now they are having "military and personal use" sales, thereby bypassing the veterans reward program for most of the remaining items not already removed from this program. Lowe's should be ashamed of themselves for pretending to honor this country's veterans by their shameful actions.

Lowe's is local to my home, so I do shop there. Must say though that as an avid DIY homeowner I find Home Depot has more of a selection of the things I'm usually looking for. My most recent Lowe's visit was a disappointment. Needing weed & feed for my lawn I purchased a bag in their lawn & garden center and applied it to my lawn. Needing a second bag I returned to Lowe's, this time walking through the main store where they also stocked weed & feed. This time I noticed a buy weed & feed and receive a free bonus 5,000 foot bag of basic fertilizer. However, I couldn't locate the bonus product. Customer service helped me locate the bonus product - but just one bag remained. Lowe's stocked what I counted to be at least 100 bags of the weed & feed part of the special but only had one bonus bag.

When I inquired about how I could obtain the second bonus bag to go along with my two weed & feed purchases I was informed that it was a "while supplies last" bonus offer. I inquired about a rain-check for the second bonus bag and was denied that. Instead I was told to check back frequently to learn whether they get a new supply of bonus fertilizer bags. I feel this business tactic by Lowes is despicable (and probably should be illegal). I will have no choice but to not reward Lowe's with my dollars whenever an alternative exists.

Bought the stackable MIDEA washer/dryer in 2023. I’ve had nothing but problems with both units. The washer does a terrible job dissolving the laundry soap and clothes come out with blue stains. Both washer and dryer have “safeguards” on them so you can’t select the spin, dryness, temperature, etc. that works best for you. The dryer does a terrible job drying the clothes no matter what temperature you’re allowed to use.

Why would any manufacturer of a washer and dryer try to tell the consumer what they can and can’t do to clean & dry their clothes. They need to spend more time improving their substandard equipment and stop limiting the consumer who wants to do a quick wash with high spin instead of medium. There is no conservation of water or electricity when using these machines because you have to wash the clothes twice and continually turn the dryer back on. DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND! Worst washer and dryer I have owned in 65 years.

Mr. ** spent several hours dismantling and packing it. DO NOT BUY IF IT COMES FROM CHINA. THEY ARE CASUAL ABOUT MEASUREMENTS. I was told it would be shipped from Missouri, not China. I blame Lowe's for making Mr. ** do the labor packing up all the pieces for which I paid him, and since I went to Lowe's in person to order and pay for this that nobody mentioned it was coming from China.

We started a 10' by 14' Kitchen remodel in December 2023, In January 2024 we paid over 20K (Paid in full) to have the cabinets done and installed. We were not told that we would need to store our cabinets once done until the installer could come and inspect them and then if they are happy, they will schedule the install. I will receive the cabinets on 3/29/2024, the inspection will be a week later and then the install up to two weeks later. We are now into the 4th month, and we still have nothing to show for our money, even the demo has not been done.

THEN the countertop people, who have also been paid will schedule the measurement for the countertop and six weeks later they may be able to install. This will have been over a six-month process for a tiny kitchen I could have finished myself in a month. ALSO, they made us store our new appliances, they could not deliver them at the same time as the cabinets. We will never use Lowe's Home Improvements to do remodeling ever again.

Don’t Do It! This has been the Worst experience I’ve ever had! The Springfield Northside assistant manager informed me tonight after I told her I was reporting them to the Consumers Act “she didn’t care, she ready had one on her desk she was working on.” That’s A Quote! The Store Manager was standing beside her behaving in the same manner. After I had spent 24 hour, 9 different people (including Store dept managers, Warehouse, and Corporate) hours of hold time and automated nonsense. I had walked in the store with a email from corporate that could have worked the whole thing out. They however Were So Disrespectful and Rude I told them to come get it all. I had ordered a stove, fridge, dishwasher.

-Fridge had No handles, a dent, and scratches. Handles are nowhere to be found. Even though I bought it in Springfield it was shipped from Lebanon. Which means Springfield will not stand behind their sale at all, and you have to deal with a totally different store, warehouse, delivery. Ordered it Friday, delivery Monday Morning, Tuesday night Still no news or answers.

    - STOVE I was sold (and the reason I bought from them) a double oven stove for 775.00. Now I argued with the sales rep and told him it was more expensive but he assured me, "No it was on clearance with 20% off" and I was getting a heck of a deal. When they delivered it was one door, totally wrong stove. NO one has been willing to make this right.

First call- Dept Manager, “That’s a 1200 stove I don’t know what you want me to do about it.”
Second - Store Manager, "You would have to have the warehouse deal with it, they can do refunds and make it right."
Third - Warehouse- "It’s the store's problem, we can’t order products."
Fourth- 1st Corporate Customer Service, “You need to calm down and be patient." This was remedied when my male husband got on… his tune changed. He made a replacement order. But it was the Same Stove they had already delivered! The wrong one Again!
    Fifth- Corporate Customer Support Supervisor.
Now she called the store. She emailed me the numbers that made it all come out even. All that had to be done was the Store decide to be helpful.

(Many other calls were made to Lebanon because again fridge is a completely different store.)

When we walked in the Manager cut me off while talking and told me he didn’t want to hear it, he would get the assistant manager I had talked to earlier. I informed him that didn’t matter I had a email from Corporate. He was rude and continued to tell me he wasn’t interested. Even the desk girls acknowledged he was rude. They continue to the office where they pull everyone back and have a pow-wow. Then they came back, she came up to the counter sporting a RBF and massive attitude. I pulled myself together and asked if they could just be nice and try to help. She informed me they had been nice. I had said I was finished with Lowe’s so….

At that point I told them to pick up their appliances asap, I would be reporting them. She said “Go ahead I already have one on my desk I’m working on." I replied "you Deserve It, I’m sure." Do Not Shop At Lowe’s!!! But Stay Away From N Springfield Lowe’s!!!!! Absolutely the rudest store, they do not stand by their word, Their service is a circus!!

I wish I could say that you have done well. But I cannot. I worked for Lowe's for 12 years, I ran the appliance department as well as the Delivery and receiving Departments. I have tried to buy appliances from Lowes twice now and both experiences have been so phenomenally terrible I am debating whether I will even enter a store again. The first was a dryer, and two days of trying to get it delivered and installed. The third party delivery people not knowing the difference between a range cord and a dryer cord, refusal to stack the dryer as was specifically requested when the unit was purchased, and nearly causing a fire by not removing the plastic from inside the dryer, running it and leaving the house (in complete disarray).

The stress of calling Lowe's customer service, and the third party delivery was more than enough. I consigned myself to never again getting a delivery from the third party ever again. I thought that maybe, just maybe, an installation would be better. Again I was wrong. A simple dishwasher. BUT again Lowe's goes through a third party that does not care. I took the day off of work to wait for the install. We had two inches of snow and the install was cancelled. As they will not do installs on weekends, and I am not able to take another day off of work, I chose to take the easy road this time. I cancelled and refunded my purchase. I know full well that nothing on this earth will get Lowe's to fix this because it's the "Third Party". Well, it isn't. It's Lowe's, and their conscious choice to abandon customer service and pass the buck to a third party.

Poor Policies. And what used to be an outstanding place to get an appliance is now the most infuriating place. For the sake of your future customer base I hope you change your policies back to those that actually demonstrate care for the customers who shop there. As for me, I will never buy another appliance from Lowe's again.

Then they kicked my DVDs and knickknacks that had been on the hutch aside like trash, stepping all over the items they'd dumped.

I filed a complaint with Lowe's and was told it was the contractor's responsibility. The contractor lied and said I caused the damage. I never touched the hutch. Lowe's should have ultimate responsibility since it's their contractor, but I was told to call the contractor and work it out on my own. Lowe's has lost my business. I will never shop with or deal with this company again, and I will make sure any business I deal with in the future does not use Barnes Trucking Enterprises as a contractor.

Bought a new fridge from Lowe’s. First delivery they were hours late. I left and couldn’t wait any longer. 2nd delivery, I picked the hours of 8:00-12:00. 1:00 still didn’t show. I called. They gave a new delivery time 2:00-6:00! I had my assistant cover my stairs with plastic and paper to protect the carpet. Everything was removed from the fridge and put it on the counter. I’m very busy with work. I can’t sit here all day waiting. That’s why I chose 8-12 delivery. I had my assistant sit here from 8:00-7:00 and wait for them. At 7:00, he went home. They never came. This is absolutely ridiculous! I called again and it’s another 3 day wait for the 3rd delivery attempt. In the meantime, I have to live with covered stairs?!! I’m so angry! I will never buy anything from Lowe’s and have it delivered. Worst possible service.

I ordered the Windows and Doors in December of 2023 and it's now March 2023 and product still not completed. 1st the windows were ordered and the trim was on back order then the windows came in and had bent sashes. I waited longer with patience and received the sliding door and they didn't order the screen for the door. So with that being said. It's the end of March and still waiting on the bent sashes and having a slider door inserted without a screen when the weather is beautiful and no way to leave the door open. Also there is glue and sticker still left on most of the Windows. I would highly recommend another company if deciding to have new windows installed.

It is freezing cold in that room in winter needing a heater and hot in summer. I had the HVAC people come out to fix the problem but they could not find anything wrong. Who would have thought to check the window since it was BRAND NEW? 2 years later we found the window was not a good fit and had been leaking making the room non functional. When called I was told someone would get back to me 3 weeks ago. I understand the warranty was up but the problem with the faulty windows still remains. I now have Kleenex stuffed in there with tape to help keep the cold out. DO NOT buy from them. I have a new house with a useless window I will have to pay for replacement and I promise it won't be from these Bozos.

In February 2024, I received the measurements, a quote for tile then made my payment. Lowe's delivered the wrong materials, they had pickup the incorrect tile and start packing the correct tile. In the meantime Service Pro arrived, however they noticed a slope on the floor. They called their manager that stated until I have foundation leveled they could not do the job. As many people coming into my home no one notice it. Lowe’s still tried to deliver the tile when Service Pro decided not to do the job. I had to make numerous calls for them to pickup the mortar and grout which was incorrect also.

March 5, 2024, I decided to install carpet in the den. In getting the quote, I asked if there were any discount and was told there was a 10% discount on the carpet. If I had not asked, I would not have known. The closer we got to quote and payment, I was told the 10% discount off carpet is in the form of a gift card. I think all the information should be provided for the customer to make an informed decision.

From March 8 until now, I have tried to pay for the carpet and I was cold transferred all over the stores and department. Finally, spoke to representative that stated do not touch ECR and she says they could not take a payment. I went from Flooring, on hold 15 minutes then disconnected. I called back then transferred to Appliances to another representative. I left voicemail messages to Sales and Executive Office numerous times without a response. Executive Office do not take ownership of the issue even though I have sign contract.

Well, for one, the stove was a week late. Then when the stove got delivered the delivery person said they Do Not do the installation and it will be a separate price. He also told me that Lowe's do this to customers all the time and he have to deal with angry customers because of it. So, I call the store and talked to the assistant manager (Michelle) and she told me that the installation price of the stove will be over $500 dollars.

I asked her can they help cover the cost because they should honor what the representative told me which was the price of the installation would be included in the price. So, the assistant manager told me that they could not help me. So, I told them to please come to pick the stove up. Never buy anything from Lowe's. They are SCAMMERS disguised as a reputable company. I received a Primo water cooler advertised as “new”. The box was torn apart, the top and bottom gone and only styrofoam to support. I had no option but to dispose of the remnants. It's very possible that we received a REFURBISHED item. The previous PRIMO we owned lasted us almost 10 years with the pump sort of failing at the end. Instead of trying to figure out to fix it, we ordered from Lowe's thinking their price was decent for the item because Sam's Club and Costco were out of Primo's under $200.

A little over 2 months, it's defective (does no cool water and everything comes out warm). We contacted Lowe's who, gave them the whole spill about the “no box” and the circumstances. They assured us that this was not a problem, and that Fedex will take care of boxing it at their expense. So we scheduled for a pickup with Fedex noting that there is “no box” and faced no objection.

A Fedex rep showed up today and said he won't take it without a box. This resulted in additional hours spent over the phone and they prompted me to re-scheduled another pickup with them, saying “this time we should have no issues”, adding an apology that “it wasn't noted correctly”. I thought that was that. Then some Fedex supervisor called me changing his tune and saying they WON'T take it as it and that even if it was dropped off at a location, it won't get accepted. I do not have a vehicle that fits the cooler and I shouldn't be liable for driving 12 miles to drop it off at a location, but I wanted to find out if there is a distinction between a pickup and a dropoff. I have now started a credit card dispute and I'm in the process of submitting a complaint with BBB.

Do yourselves a favor and spend the extra money, if you have to, to buy your appliances from a trustworthy source to get a “brand new” item with a reliable return policy. I purchased another unit through Costco knowing their guarantee is trustworthy. They have their own staff to pick up large appliances if a customer is not satisfied. Lowe's simply scammed us, exploiting our limitations.

They will send different companies out so it looks like a new claim has been made because they have a rule, if 4 claims are put in within 30 days they need to replace the fridge. To avoid having to replace the fridge they send different companies out for the same issue and it shows up in their system as a totally brand new claim. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. Customer service is in the Philippines and it's like you are talking to a robot cause they are just reading a script. It doesn't matter what you tell them, they will give you the same answer that is written on their script. You ask for a supervisor they tell you that you do not need a supervisor as they are highly trained on the matter. They have no clue what they are talking about.

I have had about 10 different visits from different companies. The guy that came today couldn't even look at my fridge because his system wasn't working. I am going on almost 10 days with a fridge that is not cooling. I can't even make a food shopping as the fridge is not cooling properly and my food will get damaged. I may be calling lawyers to see if I can file a lawsuit cause this is just ridiculous This is very close to scam. Not 100 percent a scam as they have replaced parts but on the fridge replacement and everything else I wrote about, this is where it becomes scammy.

Original Review: We have been without a working fridge going on 5 days now. We lost all of the food in our fridge and have been needing to order out every day. Lowe's sent the wrong company to my house, their tech was here for 2 hours. He tells us he is going to order parts and then we come to find out that the company does not repair the certain part of my fridge that needs repair. I have been going back and forth with this insurance company for 4 hours today. They are located in the Philippines. They barely know English and there is no way for you to speak to a supervisor. I am never buying from Lowe's again. I will stick to Home depot.

Contracted Lowe's to install replacement windows on first floor. 6 windows and slider. Installed in October, same day they (subcontractor) said there was a "manufacturer defect" because 4 windows had gaps and did not fully close. Then the rain came...two windows leak, one really bad so much that now the window sill is mushy. I can't be there nonstop to clean water. All the windows get water on the channels inside, as well as slider. The slider doesn't lock properly. Nearly 4 months later and NOTHING. I've communicated with Lowe's more times than I want to.

The manufacturer, Milgard, came out. There is no manufacturer defect. I had another contractor come out, they said poor install and only fix is to remove and install all new windows. The latest response from Lowe's was, "I'll let you know as soon as I have more information". In the meantime, the windows continue to leak each time it rains. It is so frustrating that they just won't come and fix this incredibly major screw-up....especially now that it's not a manufacturer thing. They somehow try to make it your problem, which is not right.

On top of that...the contractors they used also damaged part of the laminate flooring. They didn't say anything in October, but in December I noticed a creaking noise. Flooring company came out... The T Mold was broken in 2, and they used silicone to "glue" it together. Then they put small nails on each end and tried to drive it into concrete (seems rather stupid) and then completely sealed it with silicone, so the flooring can't move making the creaking sound. I'd avoid using them. They might do the job, but if something goes wrong, it seems they just don't care and it takes months of horrible communication and no results.

Absolutely terrible experience. Never use Lowe's to do your flooring install. They contract out work. The pods they contract with through Service Pros is subpar. I had wood flooring installed in my home. It is buckling and cupping. They said it was because there was a moisture leak in my home. I take an accusation like that very seriously. I had a plumber come out, I had crawl space vendor come out and I had a contractor come out. There is no moisture leak.

Service pros came out a 3rd time trying to find blame me for the flooring issue instead of accepting responsibility, honoring the warranty and replacing the flooring. This 3rd time I watched as they inspected the flooring. They took pictures of the floor nowhere near the buckling and submitted as evidence there was no issue. They have not submitted pictures of the buckling. They have not submitted pictures of the cupping. The rest of the wood flooring in my house is totally fine. There is NOT vertical expansion (there is space between the walls and flooring vertically). There IS horizontal compression (horizontal buckling). There is cupping in the wood.

They (the installers) said there has been an issue with the wood on many of their recent installs. They also said they said they had to use different nails specifically in the location that the buckling (horizontal compression) is happening because the wood was put together so tightly. The rest of the wood in my house is perfectly fine (no buckling, no compression). The issue starts exactly when you cross into the primary bedroom. They said the best solution is to replace all the flooring in the primary bedroom. They said there wouldn't be any additional pushback. There is moisture barrier they was placed below the flooring. They said the next call I would receive from Service Pros would be to schedule the replacement. Not the case. Service Pros/Lowes is not honoring the warranty and continuing to try and close out work orders.

What it seems like is they're sandbagging and a deliberate attempt by Lowe's/Service Pros to let the warranty run out instead of honoring the warranty and fixing the poor install. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed by this entire process. This is supposed to be a home improvement store. Instead, they have devalued my home.

We have placed a dryer online on January 16th, 2024. The dryer was delivered on January 24th, 2024. On January 28th, 2024, after using it for the first time, we noticed that there were loud sand grinding sounds. We called Lowe’s immediately to report the incident and that was the first time we were notified by the customer service agent that major appliances only have 48 hours to report damages for refund/return/replacement. We were referred by customer service to contact Samsung and filed a warranty service request. The technician came and determined that the physical damage in the top left corner is the reason causing the sand grinding sound that occurred during shipping/moving.

We were also informed today by the technician that Samsung will only cover manufactured warranty but NOT physical damages caused during the shipping and handling. I went to Lowe’s right afterward to report and explain the situation and spoke to the Appliances Manager, Maria. She told me that Lowe’s has a 48 hours return policy. Although explaining the cause of the sound reported by the Samsung technician and Maria admitted the dryer did show physical damage, she claims Lowe's will still not be able to replace or return the item. The only way Lowe’s will return/refund is to have Samsung providing the Return Authorization and we will have to physically bring the dryer to the store. I informed her again that Samsung doesn’t cover any physical damages caused during the shipment process. She then said she saw the physical damage, and Lowe’s will only able to give us a “discount” for the physical damage and that’s it.

Basically, Lowe's won't do anything and tells us that there’s nothing the company can do after receiving a damaged product and the consumer will just bear the cost. I purchased this appliance brand new online and the manager saw and admitted the physical damage and is willing to give a “discount” but not able to replace the damaged product? The 48-hour major appliances return policy is this important but not listed on each page of the major appliance page to inform the customers that they only have 48 hours to report. We simply want this damaged product to be replaced. Being a consumer, we have the right to receive an “undamaged and undefective product.”

This male named Houston picks up and he's apparently working from home. He's got a rooster howling in the background and he tells us he can't hear us as we try to explain our situation. When my husband asks to talk to a supervisor, he says no he can't do that!! I urge my husband to please hang up and we will call again to speak to someone better. This guy is like, "I can't hear you; I can't hear you, I'm going to hang up," five, six times. I literally looked at my husband and said they are hiring anyone off the street! I try to call again to get someone else and a lady with a thick accent answers the phone. I believe she was **.

When my husband asks her to speak to a supervisor, she says, "No, that's not how it works!" They try to be sympathetic to your problem yet help you zero, they just want to throw you to the next person. My husband is literally going to go to Lowe's to complain in person because on the phone they mistreat you. I plead to anyone who reads this. Whatever you do don't pick LOWE'S for your next appliance and do not buy their warranty. Nowadays appliances are made cheap yet sell expensive and this new technology they install them with are horrible. Touchscreens are terrible and to replace them if they stop working is hell and expensive. The problem is still unresolved!

On Feb 13th, received word that parts are in BUT service is 2 weeks out. We told Lowes we can no longer wait and want a new dryer. Lowes conceded that their 48 hr time live ran out and there is nothing they can do. So, we paid $1,300 for a brand new dryer and are stuck with a defective dryer. Do yourself a favor and NEVER BUY AN APPLIANCE AT LOWES.

Ordered a new refrigerator from Lowe’s on a Wednesday morning shortly after opening. Salesperson was great, in/out 20-25 minutes, delivery scheduled for next day. The prior Tuesday evening I returned home from vacation to find my refrigerator thermostat had stopped working; my house smelled like more than a few dead animals & I had lost over $400-500 worth of mostly frozen food plus all the refrigerator condiments, etc. Turned the heat up, opened doors, dragged big garbage can to front steps & threw out all the contents; then spent 2 hours scrubbing & cleaning the floors. Finished that, cleaned myself up, changed, ate peanut butter & crackers because other smells nauseated me.

Spent the evening looking online for refrigerator; I did not want a more expensive one because I’m moving in the spring but I wanted it to be counter depth, have an ice maker & be stainless steel to keep with the other appliances (if new owners didn’t like it, they could always use as second frig & move it to garage; my house will be “as is” - but is turn-key.) Lowe's had best one for the price but delivery was over week out so I went in to the store first thing in the morning; told salesperson what I wanted but I needed next day or 2 day delivery. He checked computer & said it was available for next day delivery, SOLD, went about my day, picked up some food for 2 days, bags of ice, all for beach cooler in garage. Although I’m 74, I could do the in/out (only external access to garage) for a day.

When I didn’t receive a call that night (Wednesday) with delivery time, I went online early next morning, before the store opened & found delivery tracking information that said delivery would be after the 15th-16th. This would not work at all. When I called the store, salesperson tried other stores, etc, to no avail. He was unable to offer another item comparably priced & transferred me to assistant manager who had nothing but “these things happen.” Called Lowe’s corporate & received more word salad about “these things happen.”

I explained that as I was expecting a new refrigerator the next day & had not only bought food that I had to store in beach bag outside of the house, if that temperatures were going up to the 50s & that IF Lowe’s computer inventory & delivery system had been correctly updated, I would have gone to other stores looking for best delivery & price; now it was Thursday & how could I get delivery with a weekend coming. Lowe’s could have cared less. They had a knowledgeable salesperson who had been with Lowe’s 18 years but he had only the computer system they provided him so there is no blame on him. It is Lowe’s who failed both him & me, and backed it up with the worse customer concern you could get from a well known, well advertised store. And then these stores, like Lowe’s, wonder why we don’t shop local & order from online retailers - who usually offer the same products at deeper discounts.

I keep getting the run around and I still don't have my order and it has been two weeks. I need it know!!

I would never order anything from Lowes again because they do not care about their customers. You cannot even talk with a manager. They say call the store. The issue is I order the items through Lowes Website and they did not give me a choice to send the parts to my house. They forced me to pick a store so I picked one that was the closet. Now they tell me corp is not responsible I have to work with store. Why is that when I ordered them from Lowes, not the store. Just another way they can give you the run around and take no responsibility screw the customer. You cannot even call cooperate to log a complaint. Not a good way to run a company. After 4 weeks of installation we notice one of the windows latch was loose. Called for the warranty so our latch to be replaced.

Today is February 8th, 2024. 6 different messages after following that our part was back ordered, installation company picked up part and it was the incorrect part. Last week new window was being ordered because that part can not be replaced. Today I got a call, now warranty won't cover because someone supposedly tried breaking in or we broke it. Almost immediately, the golf cart had pieces fall off including the wheels from the stripping of the bolts during assembly. We asked to return it since it was a damaged product and they refused to take it back and instead wanted Coleman (the manufacturer) to repair, with us paying the delivery charge. After doing so and sending to a recommended shop by Coleman, the cart remains unfixed with Coleman and Lowe's fighting over whose fault. We are frustrated with false advertising about the return policy, the poor assembly and the lack of help by the store personnel. We want our money back and will never do business with Lowe’s. Later, it was rejected. No reason given except Non-Compliance - unable to process the SB Range. I resubmitted and it was repeated. For a third time, I submitted using a different code, found on the receipt - guessing perhaps, this is what they wanted. It was accepted for a third time. They stated that on Feb. 3, the rebate status would be available online. You can search by phone number, address or confirmation number. NONE worked. It's almost 4:30 p.m. I should point out that they never could find my information by phone number or address and by confirmation number - nothing happens. Their website ignores the request.

I should also point out that in a few days, it will be THREE MONTHS that I have been waiting for the Circulon cookware. I read another review about it being a nightmare and figured it was just a fluke. It's no fluke. They make it time-consuming and frustrating hoping we will go away and forget about it. Received a brand new refrigerator from Lowe's. Within a week noticed ice crystals forming in the freezer. The doors are both crooked, possibly allowing air to get past the seal. Was told they had to pick up unit, refund the purchase, and then make provisions to bring me a new one, which is all I asked for. What am I supposed to do with the food waiting for them to deliver a new replacement refrigerator? Why couldn't they just bring a replacement? Was told they don't do it like that anymore. Ridiculous!! Pretty done with Lowe's!

I am not sure if it was the installers or the warehouse. 4) It took 2 months to get a wall oven and install it, after 3 times of scheduling problems. 4) Unless everything is perfect, these installers will not do anything to fix an existing "simple" problem like having the right "t" in their truck. 5) Installers never call you the night before to confirm. Only half an hour before they arrive they call. Totally unacceptable. 6) If you call them to complain, all they have is "I am sorry sir".. Stay away from Lowes and their supposed Premium Cabinets Schuler. They do not care about their customers. I tried to contact the President via email and continued to copy him on every email I sent throughout this entire ordeal. Never once did he respond or have anyone with authority contact me that was serious about resolving my issue. The quality of the cabinets is very poor and built incorrect. The work performed was for complete cabinets in the kitchen with appliance including a double oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Original order date was October 2021. Due to availability the initial install was set for May 2022. Several of the cabinets that came in were damaged and had to be reordered. Once the installers finally got here to install the cabinets they noticed several problems with the product.

At this point our entire kitchen had already been demolished and was unusable so they installed the product anyway. Our microwave had not come in either so we had to wait on that. Lowes had to have many of the cabinets remade and sent the manufacturer rep by our house to look at the quality of the product. At that time they agreed to send out a company to correct the paint and stain once they got the cabinets corrected. Over the course of the next year and a half I have been working with Lowes Executive Support to try and get some resolution. They continued to send in cabinets that were damaged.

The last set of cabinets that were sent in damaged were supposed to be reordered but we found out they never were. I sent a list of all of the issues with pictures to Lowes on several different occasions and they recognize they are at fault. They tried to send us a resolution for $3,000 but that doesn't even cover the cost of paint and stain. There are still cabinets that need to be install and fixed that were built incorrectly and of substandard quality. The settlement offer I sent to Lowe's $12,505 which is the cost for all of the damaged product.

This project cost us almost $43,000 and Lowes has not fulfilled their obligation to complete the work with a quality finish. The gas stove top that was installed had the wrong orifices installed so the flames almost burned my daughter when she tried to cook. The paint on the doors has poor coverage and the primer is showing through. Very dissatisfied with and would highly discourage anyone from using Lowes. I am just getting this posted now because I have been trying diligently to work through Lowes to resolve these issues.

Based on my experience, Lowe’s Installation Services is utterly incompetent and don’t care about customers. It all started with my getting quotes for the replacement of a pre-hung exterior door at my home. I got 3 quotes, Lowe’s was slightly lower cost than the other two quotes and I thought using a national chain store might have better customer service and support than the other quotes I received. Boy was I wrong.

Lowe’s came out to my home, took measurements and wrote up the quote. I told the guy from Lowe’s that the door needed to look and be installed just like the door being replaced. He said that would be no problem. Lowe’s doesn’t do any of the actual installation work themselves – they farm it all out to third parties. Two weeks after I accepted the Lowe’s quote, the installation company came to my home and measured the door again and then the door was ordered. Three weeks later, I got an email saying the door was going to be delayed – so ok, another week delay was something I was getting used to in dealing with Lowe’s. A couple of weeks later I got a couple of different emails saying that the door was going to be delivered and giving me dates and time windows that I had to be home for delivery – but the door was never delivered.

Then the installation company called me again wanting to come out and measure again… I thought that was odd given that they had already been out to my home, measured the door and the replacement door was scheduled to be delivered. When the guy from the installation company came out to measure the second time, he was muttering something about the door was the wrong size… he didn’t elaborate and seemed to leave my home in a hurry. So now I’m getting really concerned. I started calling Lowe’s Installation Services. They were polite but knew nothing about the job status, about the installation company or anything else. Their answer was always “I will contact the store”. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told “we don’t have supervisors”.

When I asked who else I could speak with, the Lowe’s Installation Services rep said I could contact Lowe’s Customer Care. So, I did and that turned out to be just as much of a waste of time as talking to Lowe’s Installation Services. Lowe’s Customer Care knew nothing about the job, the installation company or much of anything else.

At this point, I’m really concerned. I’ve already paid for this work in full – as Lowe’s required. I don’t have the replacement door, it hasn’t been installed, I’m getting the royal run around and I’m out $3,600. I decided to go to the local store to talk to the store manager. I was told that the manager was not in but I did speak with an assistant store manager named Timothy. He was apologetic and uncharacteristically honest and forthright (compared to everyone else I had dealt with). He told me he had learned the door was measured wrong and that it was too small for the door opening in my home.

When I asked him what the plan was to fix this situation, he paused and it was obvious that Lowe’s didn’t have a plan. We discussed cancelling the order and he acknowledged that was within my rights. In hindsight, I wish I had done that as things were only going to get worse from here out. But I told Timothy I would give him 24 hours to come up with a plan and review it with me.

Timothy called back the next day – apologized again and outlined a plan to “try again”; i.e. have the installation company measure again and complete the work. Reluctantly and, in hindsight stupidly, I agreed. A full week later, the installation company came out to remeasure. I “assumed” that the door had been reordered at that point. But another full week later, I received an email from the Lowe’s rep who came to my home originally. It was a “CYA” email basically saying that the replacement door jamb width was not going to be the same as my existing door and they would have to “modify” the installation and he was asking for my “approval” of these modifications. I responded to his email that unless he could be much more specific on what these “modifications” were going to be and what they would look like then to just cancel the order and immediately refund my money.

I waited two full weeks and never received a response from Lowe’s. I was done with trying to reason with Lowe’s. I “assumed” that they cancelled the order and issued the refund but my online credit card account didn’t show a credit. So, I went back to Lowe’s one last time. I asked 6 times to talk to the store manager while 4 different assistant store managers tried to answer my questions. The store manager Evan ** finally showed his face for all of 20 seconds – apologized for my experience but it was clear he couldn’t care less about me or the horrible experience I had been through thanks to Lowe’s utter incompetence. I waited in that store for an hour and 45 minutes for them to cancel the order and issue me a credit. An hour and 45 minutes. Ten weeks of utter frustration and as of this writing I’m still fighting with Lowe’s credit card company to refund me. I’ll never step foot in a Lowe’s store again.

In the past I've bought many appliances from them, bought materials to build a house, finish the interior of a steel building and much more. Today I was just trying to buy a few materials and could not get anyone to wait on me. The people working there would not even acknowledge my presence there. They were busy but could have spoken to me and let me know that they would get to me as soon as they could. But no. I was invisible and treated as though my business didn't matter to them. Apparently, they get paid regardless of customer satisfaction.

I had to request help and even then the communication was so poor I wasn't told where I was to find the person called to help me. When I wasn't where he thought I should be he went on about his business and blew it off. I had to go track him down. By then I was so livid I just didn't want to be there. I made it clear at the checkout counter this was my worst ever Lowe's experience after many years of doing business with Lowe's. I'm glad I found out the state of customer service at the Fayetteville Lowe's. I'm getting ready to start a remodel and I'll be looking for a home improvement store that has decent customer service.

I went into the store to purchase a washer and dryer. I selected the LG WM3400CW front loader washer. During the purchase sales order ** the sales associate asked if I needed to have them haul away any washer and dryers at my home. I told them no. It wasn't until I went to customer service to pay for the appliance that I found out that I had been charged $100 to haul away appliances. The associate clearly didn't listen to what I said.

The appliance was delivered to my home 2 days later and when the LG WM3400CW front loader washer was installed an error code "LE" which indicates defective motor appeared. I went back to the Cornelia Georgia store where I purchased the appliance and went to the customer service desk. After I explained the problem to the Customer Service associate they asked if I brought the appliance back to the store. I said "No I paid for delivery and didn't have a way to return the appliance". They said that it was their policy to not offer a refund unless I returned the appliance. I escalated to the Assistant Store manager and he was helpful in processing the return and replacement.

Two days later I received a call from the Delivery company that they were coming to pick up my defective washer. I asked if they had my replacement and they said No. I asked why and they said it was Lowes policy that they only provide replacement appliances once they have received the defective unit back and had processed the return. I said that this was terrible for the customer and now I have to wait even longer to get my washer.

When the driver arrived to pick up my defective washer he told me to call into the customer service center later that night to ask about my replacement. I called later that evening as he said and the customer service center said they had not received the appliance and for me to call back the next day. I called back the next day and the customer service center said they had received the appliance back and would have to process the return and schedule the delivery.

Through this experience I have realized that the customer is not important to Lowes and that their processes need to be overhauled to put the customer first. As you can see I received a defective washer from LG which calls into question their quality system and how a washer with a defective motor could pass their quality testing. Also why does the Lowes customer have to wait and make multiple calls to get a replacement. Any company that cares about their customer would initiate the delivery of a replacement washer at the same time they pick up a defective unit and not make the customer wait. The next time I need to purchase an appliance or major purchase, I will not select Lowes even though they are located very close to my home.

On that same day November 29th I also ordered a dishwasher. I got notification on December 14th that it would be delivered that day. It was not and the installer I spoke to said it was not at all in the store on Skyland. The install customer service people look into it and then finally I find out it has been delivered to the store like 2 days ago which would be December 20th. Now it has already been 3 weeks since my original order on November 29th. I was told it would be arriving at their store 5 to 7 days Later. And now that it is finally arrived there almost 4 Weeks Later I get another one of those automatic phone calls saying the first available day to install the dishwasher would be January 11th.

These people are insane with very bad customer service. And they sell you things that have to be delivered from Washington DC Warehouse and good luck ever getting it. I will go over to the store today and if they cannot deliver it the very first week of January then I will cancel this order and never shop there again. If you have someone to install your Appliance then you probably would get it within a month not a week. However in my case I don't have anyone to install it and I have depended on them and also gave them $150 to get it installed. It's just been a bunch of nonsense back and forth phone calls ever since the refrigerator. Good luck with this store ever helping you to improve your house and your appliances. Go elsewhere or you will be completely caught up and nothing but phone calls and customer service complaints and the list goes on. I will probably get my money back today and never shop there again.

I got a notice from my bank this morning that Lowe's had tried to pass a large charge through my checking account. I ordered a refrigerator on November 17 and got an approval for a buy now pay later loan through Synchrony Lowes bank. I never received any information about Synchrony account such as an account number or any type of log-in information. I received a notice for a delivery reschedule for January 5. Apparently the refrigerator shipped from who knows where yesterday so Lowes was able charge me. Now here is the kicker, Synchrony will not pay on invoices that are for orders older than 30 days. When the fridge was backordered I was not notified of the looming credit issue. So Lowes tried to get the money out of my checking.

After spending three hours on the phone and online customer service, I talked to 11 people, I was able to figure out what the problem was. I can’t be the only person who has had this issue. Bottom line is Lowes could/would not issue credit for the order. The best they could offer was to cancel my current order and have me go through the credit application/purchase all over from the beginning which would probably end up in another backorder. I cancelled the order. I am upset by the total lack of communication from Lowes regarding the credit issue since the purchase. I am upset about the overdraft charge from my bank. I am upset about having to live out of a mini fridge since Nov. 17 and essentially be in the same predicament I was then. I can’t believe Lowes is aware of the Synchrony policy and hasn’t done anything to work it out.

Then there is Lowes customer service. The AI system would more appropriately be called artificial stupidity and made it very difficult to contact to a human. The human agents were undertrained and forwarded me into oblivion and wrong departments. I was finally able to get somewhere through Synchrony because I have another account there. What a colossal waste of time. Worst of all. There is refrigerator floating around the Lowes system with my name on it and they can’t figure out how to get it to me. What a bunch of morons. You can’t even send them an EMAIL to complain.

I purchased a Hisense Refrigerator on Nov 11, 2022 and purchased the extended warranty. Refrigerator stopped working Dec 4, 2023 and put in service order. Repair tech had to order a compressor and the 2 computer panels for this refrigerator. On Dec 18th I contacted Lowes Protection to find out status of the repair. I was informed parts can take 7 to 10 business days to received. I was advised I could submit a food spoilage claim for $300 but opted to wait until refrigerator was repaired as I had no place for any food purchased. On Dec 19th a Lowe's credit showed up in my email inbox for the purchase price of the refrigerator only. I called Lowes Protection Plan on Dec 21st to question why I had not received a refund also for the sales tax.

I found out they only refund the price of the product purchased. I then questioned about submitting a claim for the food spoilage and was told it would be denied as I they received the refund on the purchase price of the refrigerator. So now I'm out the sales tax and $300 to help purchase food. I've have found out Hisense is a product from China and considered a disposable product. So at least I should consider myself lucky I got the price of the refrigerator back. With the extended warranty I would have been out of luck. I am purchasing a new refrigerator from a local small business appliance store with full service. I will no longer buy any appliances from Lowes or other big box stores.

I went to the Paso Robles Lowe’s to get a screen door and have them install it and I still have no door nor has anyone called to follow up, though I’ve called and spoken to Brandon and Don, who both promised to follow up but have not. In the meantime, I am still paying for this door on my Lowe’s card for services never performed. First they tell me it’s the wrong door that they ordered and will have to “special order” it and that the guy who came to measure didn’t get the right measurements. Mind you, I paid $40 for this measurement. Then no one calls me to schedule the install when the door comes in but the “installer”, named Christian, calls Dec 1 to say he’s coming to install my door and I have things to do so I ask if he can come later and he says perhaps but he has to talk to his boss to see if he can come do it on a Saturday.

Then he calls back and says he doesn’t think the door is going to work and has to go back to the store and ask the guy to show him how to install the door? What? You’re an installer and you don’t know how to install a screen door? But he never followed up. So I called Lowe’s on Dec 8 and spoke to Brandon who promised to follow up and apologizes for the delays and substandard service. I never hear from him again. Then on Dec 11 I called and ask to speak to the head manager and I speak to Don who hears my complaints, apologizes, and promises to follow up and I never hear from him again, either.

Today I called Lowe’s and spoke to someone at corporate installation support, explain my issue, and request my work be cancelled and I am given a full refund for product and work (installation) never received. This is inexcusable and perhaps Lowe’s can afford to lose customers. I am frustrated and would suggest no one uses this Lowe’s store in Paso Robles, unless you want to go through months of frustration as I have.

First I want to say that the personnel at the Lowe’s Store (Store #714) in E. Mesa on Higley Rd were very helpful and courteous. Both ** and ** are their names. Unfortunately I can’t not make the same claim about the personnel that answers the 800 number for Lowe’s Installation service, or the company Lowe’s subcontracts out the installation to (CRST) or the company CRST eventually subcontracts the project to known only as AVT LLC.

My experience with trying to get the dishwasher installed that I purchased on 11/24/2023 at the above store has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. The installation was to happen on 12/07/2023 between the hours on 9 AM to Noon. I received a phone call from someone during on 12/07/2023 at approximately 930 am saying they called in sick and I would have to reschedule the installation. When asking about another installer completing the installation. The person hung up on me.

I then rescheduled to 12/13/2023 and was informed from Lowe’s installation 800 number that I will be contacted between 6-9 pm on 12/12/2023 about the installation window. I never received a call or text that night. I had to find out the next day (after several calls and texts) that the installation window was to happen between 2 pm to 5 pm.

After 5 pm on 12/13/2023, since no one contacted me I had to contact CRST and was informed that the installer “hurt his back getting the dishwasher and was seeking medical treatment” and I would have to reschedule again. When speaking with Jeff at the Lowe’s store #715, no one filed any report of any injury that day and he had no knowledge of this incident happening.

I was then informed by CRST after contacting them again, that the installation would be “expedited”, however the earliest I could get installation would be 12/21/2023. I find this whole experience with Lowe’s installation team and CRST, extremely unprofessional and frustrating. I then contacted Lowe’s store #714 and requested that they just deliver the dishwasher to my residence and I would contact another company to install the dishwasher thus eliminating 2 subcontractors (CRST and AVT LLC) since Lowe’s installation team, along with the subcontractors either could not or would not install the dishwasher. Really did not want to take off another day of work to have the installer cancel again.

The door arrived at the store and we set the install date for 8 Dec 2023 between the hours of 11 am and 2 pm. I took off from work to make myself available for the installation. After a few hours of sitting and waiting and not hearing anything, I called Lowe's to get an ETA for the door installers. At that time I was told that the door ordered would not fit and there would not be an install done today. When asked why was I not notified promptly, Lowe's said that Lou (Lowe's door department worker) should have notified me (he did not).

I requested to speak with a manager and was connected to Chris (Asst. Manager). I explained the situation, and Chris was apologetic and assured me the situation would be rectified as the installer would contact me to fix the situation. I never received a call from the installer, but I did receive a call from Lou, who apologized, and passed the buck by saying the installer should have called and let me know (never happened). Three days have gone by and I still haven't received my door which I paid for 2 months ago, nor have I heard anything from Lowe's or the contractor. Lowe's has wasted my time, they still have my money, and no compensation or consideration for missing work. Total incompetence and unprofessionalism! I contacted Lowe's and they had the subcontractors come back to fix the trim, and though some windows look a bit better, there was much that was not fixed. They have the prices clearly marked at my store, there’s typically a good selection of boards to pick from and all the hardware for the boards, like nails screws and hangers is right close by. Five minutes in the store and there’s someone right there offering to help, unlike a competitor who is also close by this store and has no customer service and no appreciation for their customers. Thank you Lowes for being there. I’ve survived a major flood that totally destroyed my house and an EF 3 tornado that nearly destroyed everything again, rebuilding both times with your material. On Nov 5, 2023 I purchased a hot water tank from Lowe's. It was an AO Smith gas 30 gallon hot water heater. On Nov 30, 2023 the pilot light went out and it would not re light. I finally found the little wire on the coupler that is some kind of a breaker and I flipped that after calling AO Smith and it would light back up but as soon as the tank would get hot and it was supposed to go back to just the pilot being on it would shut down again.

I called AO Smith and they were very rude and did not want to help. They kept asking me if I installed it properly and how many feet of exhaust pipe I had above the tank and basically didn't want to help. I said I have only had the tank less than 30 days and it's already shutting off and not working. I also purchased the extended warranty from Lowe's and Lowe's will not touch it until the AO smith warranty runs out. AO Smith wants to send out a repair man but they will not tell me who the repair man or company is going to be and they cannot tell me a time outside of a 8 hour window.

Also they want my credit card number pre inspection, so they can charge me for any issues that do not fall under warranty items. This hot water heater is less than 30 days old and it doesn't work. What could possibly not be under warranty. Then they told me if it was installed wrong then the warranty would be void, but they cannot tell me what would be considered, "installing wrong" I mean you can't put it in upside down. And there are only two places where you can hook up water and there is only one place to hook up the gas line.

So once again AO Smith is just trying to avoid replacing another faulty water heater. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to purchasing or I would not have purchased an AO Smith anything. There are numerous complaints exactly like mine. Water heaters fail in the first few months and then AO Smith will not warranty the repairs. Lowe's will not answer questions either they just refer you to AO Smith and the circle continues.

Lowe's Home Improvement offered Halite Ice Melt (50 lbs.). I needed 10 bags and went online. The Dublin, Ohio store reported having more than 600 bags. I appreciate Lowe's Military Discount, having served in the mid-1970s, so I placed a curbside pickup order for last Saturday (12/2/2023). The curbside agent brought 10 50-pound bags of salt, most of which appeared to be damp (which, in my experience, presents the real risk that when it's cold outside those bags will be crusted with ice and will not pour into a spreader). When he started loading the bags I saw he wasn't loading what I ordered. He insisted what he was loading was what I ordered but when I showed him the picture of my order he acknowledged he had not brought out the product I ordered. He said he did so because the SKU for the wrong brand was the same as what I had ordered.

When I asked that he bring out the product I actually ordered, he said his manager told him there were no bags of what I ordered in stock. I canceled the order but not before the Lowe's Curbside Pickup app flashed that I had now received my order. That credit card charge has since been reversed. My point is the website offered a specific product; it said there was a sufficient supply on hand; and when I got to the curb the agent switched the product, denied he had switched anything - insisting that what he had was what I ordered (it was clearly not), and before we were done Lowe's sent a message stating that I had picked up the order.

Here's what Lowe's sent, while I was waiting to receive what turned out to be a different product than what I had ordered: "The items below have been picked up. Thank you for shopping at Lowe’s! We recently moved from Texas to N.C. into a house that didn't have a fenced yard although we have a dog. The first week after the move, we got bids to install a simple vinyl picket fence. I stressed with the estimator/salesman from Lowe's that getting it installed quickly was a priority and I was assured that it would be installed within 1 to 2 weeks of signing the contract and was then given "estimated" dates for that time frame.

A week after the scheduled start date and no activity or contact from Lowe's, I called Lowe's installation department and was told that it didn't know when the work would start and that it was the installer's (Lowe's subcontractor) and/or the manufacturer's issue. When asked where the estimated start dates came from, I was given various stories from different Lowe's employees which didn't match, The salesman finally admitted that the dates in the contract were his "guess" and that no one had actually verified when the product would be available from the manufacturer. They finally told me the work would start on 12/11/23.

Today, I was told they would give me "an update" (but not a start date) on 12/19. Consequently, I still don't have a firm installation date though Lowe's continues to sit on my money. I selected Lowe's because I thought they were reputable and would not misrepresent its capabilities. It's clear to me that it was simply interested in selling me a bag of goods without any intention of doing what it agreed to do.

Purchased a gas range on Saturday, salesperson told us delivery on Wednesday. At checkout, the cashier said it would be deliver on Tuesday according to his computer. He checked the box for Tuesday on his computer without checking with anyone. On Monday the delivery service called and confirmed Tuesday delivery between 8 and 12. On Tuesday at 1 we called delivery because we had not heard anything and no delivery was made. Delivery informed us that the range was not loaded for delivery and the store should have contacted us. Called the store and spoke with the delivery scheduler who said it was not in stock at the store and said we needed to speak with the salesperson. Call was to be transferred but scheduler came back to phone and said the salesperson was busy and would call us.

At 3:30 called and asked to speak to the salesperson who answered the phone and immediately asked if we would wait and sat the phone down. Twenty minutes later she came back to the phone and asked if we were still there. Stated that the delivery was supposed to come from the Pittsburgh warehouse on Wednesday but when the cashier changed delivery to Tuesday that made it a store delivery and since they did not have one in stock at the store the best she could do was have delivered Saturday.

Major issues with how staff handled the entire situation. Cashiers should not unilaterally be changing delivery dates, should be aware of them making changes affects the delivery source, cashiers do not verify with the department the effect of said change, scheduler knew it was not going to be delivered but did not notify us and finally when we spoke with a manager and canceled the order he did not act like he even cared. Later we found out this was not a singular event and has happened to others that purchased appliances at this store. The exact same scenario. My opinion is that it is business as usual at this store and probably Lowe's as a whole.

Not that they care, but this cost them a customer and even more revenue as we went elsewhere. Got the range delivered the next day along with an upright freezer and a new wall oven. We were also going to purchase new quartz countertops but will give our business to other places that respect their customers not just getting dollars on the income statement.

According to a store manager the materials have been at the store. Once they get ALL your money UPFRONT, they treat the consumer like crap and can do anything they want. Can't get a refund because of a contract that they are not doing right by and they don't like giving that size refund. Every department will tell you something different. Don't trust them at all but they have my money and won't give it back. So where is the consumer protection. Think twice before dealing with them.

With several delays from the "supplier", the door finally arrived 11/16/23 after it was shipped to the wrong location with no answer as to why. Now, the installation date is set for January 2024! The doors were to be replaced before winter to prevent the cold from entering the house. This was not the 6-8 week process they promised. I hope the installation contractor does a better job.

I have had a problem with toxic odors emanating from the carpet that was installed by Lowe's. I initially blamed the installers. I have spoken to an expert in home air quality and he thinks it might be the carpet that has the odor, that possibly Monsanto has changed how they place the backing on the carpet. Whatever is causing the odor, I have learned that I have to research products that I am bringing into my home. It took a while but Lowe's has agreed to remove the carpet and give me a refund. It seems ridiculous to me that they are charging me $150 to remove the carpet, after all we've been through trying to get this matter resolved.

    Original Review: Nov. 16, 2023

I purchased carpet from Lowe's and had it installed a week ago. I have purchased carpet from them before and had no issues. This time, during the installation, I smelled a toxic odor coming from the rooms. I asked the installers to open the windows, they said they would. Never did I think the smell would remain and not go away. I complained to Lowe's, and they said the installer denies "using any chemicals." Of course they're lying. Lowe's is now giving me the runaround to get out of replacing the carpet. My advice is to stay away from Lowe's for any big-ticket purchase as they will not stand behind their work. And definitely, if you don't want your home to get contaminated by an irresponsible installer, DO NOT BUY CARPETING FROM LOWE'S.

I would give zero stars if I was allowed; however, this site requires at least a 1 star. With that said, BUYER BEWARE when purchasing large appliance orders (or anything else) from Lowes. We have been a customer of Lowes for more than 25+ years (spent well over $75K in that timeframe) and have never experienced the total lack of customer service as we have on a recent Special Order (SOS Sale as Lowe's calls it.)

We purchased an entire Kitchen set of appliances (Refrigerator, Range, Dishwasher, Microwave.); our third house full in 5 years. With the exception of the dishwasher. every appliance arrived wrong, damaged or was not correctly installed. The range could not be installed as the delivery person didn't have a long handled Cresent wrench (so no leverage) and claimed (excuse) the gas line was epoxied on to the supply line and I needed to call a plumber. I debated with the guy and said it isn't likely to be the case as the fitting is a compression type fitting and doesn't require even sealer. I had no choice but to ultimately call a plumber at a cost of $200 only to have him use the correct size wrench to take it off. Then had to wait 3-days (with no range) for another Lowes delivery person to come back and complete the range installation. They shouldn't send people out to install something without the correct tools and skill set.

Now for the microwave - ordered Aug 24, 2023 with a est. delivery of 1 Oct. They delivered the microwave (still in the box) and the installer came out to install it only to discover it was severely damaged in the box. They reordered it and was supposed to arrive on the Oct. 31st. Called 1 Nov and told it wasn't reordered but they would expedite it to arrive Nov. 15. Called Nov. 16th to determine when it would be installed and was told the order was complete. After 1.5 hours on hold and discussion with Lowes, it was determined the microwave was never reordered. I canceled the order, asked for my money back and ordered from Best Buy with the delivery and installation in two business days from the call/order. It was actually slightly cheaper than Lowes as well. Fingers crossed they perform as promised.

Bottomline - Lowes could care less about their performance, customer care or losing business (which they have lost all of my business going forward). It is no wonder their business is in the tank, employee turnover is very high, and their stock reflects all of the above. Conclusion - Buyer beware and remember, they "may" be a few dollars less expensive; however, if you value your time and sanity - purchase elsewhere.

I ended up going to the store and paying again with same gift card for the same item again paying $6.24. I found out the $6.24 I paid originally is missing from my gift card balance.

I did not find a resolution with Zak the supervisor- though he said I "should get a gift card in the mail for the missing $6.24." I am lacking any free time and Lowe's intentionally wasting my time will lead to repercussions. I have spent at least $40k this year at Lowe's but get treated like **.

Went to Lowe's for roofing and siding installation because they offered 10 year financing and because they had a familiar name and home base and offered a warranty. I was skeptical of using smaller companies that are around one day and gone the next. They sent someone to my home for a condition review before giving me a cost estimate. They gave me a satisfying price for both jobs (for a major retailer vs a cheaper local construction team). I signed the contracts and my materials were ordered. The first red flag of trouble was when I got an email stating my materials had been delivered, followed by a call to schedule the install. The issue was that I was called on a Saturday afternoon for a Monday install. That gives me no time to make arrangements with my job, which I need to pay for the project. I told them that was not enough notice and I would need to reschedule.

Now the chaos begins! Lowes said the contractor would reach out to reschedule. After a week of no contact I started reaching out. I had to speak to several different people to get an answer for the reschedule. I spoke with several people in "corporate," who were very little help. The contractor finally called and stated he is not responsible for scheduling, Lowes is. Faith is already starting to wane, but let's keep going. Then he asked if my materials had been delivered (I had been told by Lowes that they were most likely delivered to the contractor since I got a notification, but no delivery). So, he doesn't have them, I don't have them, where are they?! Had to go through the phone chase again just to find out the materials were still at Lowes. OK, strike 2! So, we get that worked out, get an install date, I take off work, then all Hell breaks loose!

The contractors showed up for the roofing project (the siding materials were still on standby, so that was not scheduled) with only 3 guys for a 1000 sf roof plus the roof on the garage. That did not seem adequate for the job nor for the price I paid. Oh, I forgot to mention they charge upfront for the project. You must pre-pay the entire project. No phases, no down payment, the whole shebang up front! Now the contractors are on my roof. They were there for all of a few minutes and had scraped off a small section and found wood shakes underneath. For those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s a very expensive headache that comes with purchasing a 100 y o house! Disclaimer: In the initial contract, the possibility of the wood shakes being present was mentioned, and could affect the cost of the project.

Now here is where things completely fall apart! When the common person who doesn’t know what that means hears this, they may be thinking: “Oh, that may be only a few thousand dollars more, but still within budget.” Hmmmm…that’s not how that went down at all. The contractors were called off the job by their boss, who called me to tell me what was going on, this with rain storms pounding away at my now exposed roof. He said the cost would be “significantly” higher because this project just turned into a full roof replacement. That adjective had me very worried. He said it’s going to be between $5k-6k more. Well, that is significantly higher. After waiting a few days to hear from Lowes about the updated agreement, I finally got a call from the initial sales rep (yeah, they got her to make that horrible call) who proceeded to tell me the cost difference was a whopping $11,000!!!

I think I blacked out for a moment, because I have no idea what my initial response was. But I know for a fact it was totally unpleasant. I do know that I said since Lowes were the professionals, and they knew based on the age of the house the wood shakes could cause problems, that the initial cost should have reflected that as a contingent condition, and if the shakes were not present my cost would be “significantly” lower. I would’ve rather been prepared for the higher price and factored that into the budget. Instead, I had to make a choice. Well, I chose not to go with them because that whole situation was a nightmare. Yes, they apologized, sure, they offered a very small discount, which was a joke, but the relationship had been marred from that first call for the install.

By the way, you will never speak to the same person twice. And don’t bother going to the local Lowes, because I also found employees there that didn’t even know Lowes did installations. How the heck is that helpful when you’re encouraged to visit your assigned Lowes for installation issues? Long story short (way too late for that) do not use Lowes for installation projects of that magnitude. I ended up going with another company. The cost was the same, but at least the relationship wasn’t tainted.

Yes, it's annoying because it's almost built into the unit and pulling each piece of plastic out little by little but not a deal breaker. About few a month later the doors didn't align and wasn't closing properly. So I made a service call. They came out. Made the proper alignment. All was good.

Now, fast forward to now. I noticed the freezer drawer on the outside of the drawer is cracking at the top part of the handle. Made the service call. They came out and said the fridge is too old and they won't cover it because it's considered cosmetic and doesn't have any effect on how the fridge operates. They can offer me a discount to have it replaced at a price just under $400. (With discount.) Upsetting because the fridge is 5 months short of a year old. I have it financed and haven't even paid it off yet. I have never in my life had a worse home installation experience nor customer service experience. We ordered windows for the entire house in September of 2022 from a Lowe's representative. We spent roughly $19,000. The first installation started in January of 2023 and while only slotted for a 2-day job, it ended up being 3. The installation team provided by Trinity showed up the first day REEKING of **. The team did a horrific job of installing and trim work. I had them redo at least 8 of the 13 windows four times. FOUR TIMES because apparently they don’t know how to cut, measure or level anything. They also did not replace rotten wood on 2 of the windows that I was assured by the Lowe's representative that they would. Furthermore, they damaged existing exterior trim (that they had no intention of replacing) on every single window.

At the end of day one when they were “cleaning up” my backyard, I caught one of the workers smoking **. On my property. In my backyard. I am beside myself. Texas is NOT a state where ** is legal. Upon completion of this 3-day job, I was beyond disappointed with how I was treated and how my home was treated… not to mention the state of my brand new – very expensive – windows. I called Lowes Installation customer service many, many times… with no call back by supervisors. I’d get the “okay, this has been escalated and a supervisor will call you within 2 business days”… only for them to NOT call.

Ultimately, I did get a decent human on the phone and they sent out a guy from Trinity to survey the damage. Edwin was fantastic. He agreed that a terrible job was done and took on the job himself. In April Edwin came and spent almost a week working here to replace rotten wood, reset windows and replace damaged trim. The only items left undone have been a damaged kitchen window and about 50-60 missing screw covers.

I’ve had TWO appointments now with Trinity/Lowes that have not happened. The first was October 17, 2023 and when the team arrived, they did not have the materials. Lowes told them that the materials were delivered to my home… and they were not. I had a follow up appointment scheduled for today, November 8, 2023 from 9-11am and at this time nobody has called nor shown up.

All in all, this has been a TRAGIC DISASTER. Materials scheduled for drop off without consulting me (and I wasn’t home), damaged property, drugs on my property, missed appointments, lack of “give a crap” from basically everyone except Edwin. DO NOT EVER USE LOWES FOR YOUR WINDOW INSTALLATION. I wholeheartedly regret not using Andersen for this project. So, 14 months later and this is still an unfinished project and Lowes has done NOTHING to make it right. Not. One. Thing. It’s not too late to make this right, but it’s getting very close.

I accepted the quote, and received a contract which stated that Seacoast Fence would be installing the fence. Upon the arrival for the job, I later learned that it was being installed by Amazing 8 Fence Co. The installation was terrible, and six days after the installation three of the panels fell over.

They came out and fixed that problem, but, four days later all of the slats out of another panel fell out. When they came out to fix that they noticed a 3” black mark on one of the fence posts that was caused by our lawn mower. They then proceeded to report the mark to Lowe's, and I was notified that the fence was no longer covered by their warranty, because of the black mark on one fence post.

I subsequently requested that Lowe’s send a representative out to inspect the inferior quality of the installation, and the insignificant black mark, but after weeks and weeks of pleading they never sent anyone out. I therefore, put in a dispute on my credit card and after weeks of sending photos and documents I was given a $3,600.00 credit on my card. I will still have to pay to correct the poor installation job of the fence, but just the victory is worth it.

They send subs that can barely get it done or know how to schedule construction. When they deliver the wrong material they can't call and let you know when. When I need to speak to somebody they send you to a corporate number that barely helps you out. I tried to download my contract and it says the link expired. After waiting all day with a delivery window of 1-5pm and after calling 2 times and being told there were no delays, it finally arrived at 5:18pm. The installers removed my dryer and ripped the tubing out of my wall. They brought the new dryer in and proceeded to tell me they couldn't install it since they ripped the tubing out of the wall and they are not allowed to screw anything back in. I asked how I was suppose to get it installed and they did not know and left. I called customer service and a representative would call me on Friday. I received the call and I explained the situation.

They agreed to send a service man out on Saturday to fix it. I had him read the issue that the original installers had to make sure the service man could fix it. The repair man shows up at 8:00am and proceeds to tell me he can't do it either. He has no idea who I should call. I paid for installation and delivery but no one can install it? I was so upset. I called the supervisor back but they were not in on the weekend and there was no one available to talk to. I texted my friends and I did get a number of a handyman who agreed to look at it. He bought a $30 kit and had it installed in 10 minutes.

I am not sure why Lowe's could not have done this. I paid him for the installation and my dryer was finally working. I tried to call Lowe's on Monday to have them reimburse me for the installation fee. After getting the run around for hours, I was frustrated. I sent a note to Marvin Ellison the president. Meanwhile, I do not have a functioning dishwasher, my kitchen is ripped apart waiting for the repair person, and I'm hand doing dishes for the next month. I was told had I called Sunday afternoon they would have had no issue replacing it, but because I waited until Monday morning they will not. Thank you for absolutely nothing lowes.com, all I asked for was you to replace the broken dishwasher you sold me...

So I picked up the correct color so I didn’t have to make two trips with 120 pounds of sand. The return desk instead of thanking me for not having a bunch of old women having to pick them up said, "I didn’t see you return them." Fact, the time stamp on the receipt would have made it impossible for me to buy four, put them in my car then run back and pick up four more. Additionally because I done with Lowe's employees treating us like criminals said, "Check your security tape." She didn’t like that and then said, "Well it’s our policy." I don’t work for Lowe’s, and I’ll also not return, so does your policy mean when a customer does you a favor you treat them like this?

When he finally came, he did not even connect the dishwasher to power to verify the panel burned out. He pulled it out and determined he needed to change the pump. (Nothing to do with the unit not turning on anymore).

At the third time scheduled, he attempted to cancel and when I said I was calling the service company, he decided to come and then determine the spare part was not properly wrapped and decided not to repair the washer, ordering a new part. I insisted to test the panel since it does not power the unit on, he ignored it and left upon ordering the part. I escalated the issue with Lowe's and Assurant their warranty company, NOTHING. 22 days and NOTHING. I am pursuing a legal avenue to address this matter.

Couple of weeks ago I had purchased a washer and dryer from my local Lowe’s. I had went ahead and agreed to the delivery/installation offer since I’m usually at work all day long and wouldn’t have the time to set up everything when I get home and also coming home to a washer/dryer ready to go sounded nice. Purchase and setup date for delivery/installation went perfectly fine in store. Fast forward to next week, they called me the morning of to inform me they were 30 minutes away. I was at work but my girlfriend and her sister were home to let them in to set up. My girlfriend had called me a couple hours later after they had left to inform me that washer had been installed fine but they had told her that the dryer is not going to fit and can’t install it. Before I had purchased them I measured them both in person and the dimensions online so I knew for sure I had a couple inches of wiggle and for sure knew it would fit.

Anyhow, it didn’t matter anyway being the dryer had damage to the backside of it so they went ahead and taken it back with them. I arrived home later in the day and found both my water lines for the washer ran off the splitter for the cold water. The dude told my girlfriend that he had to put both hoses on the splitter because if he only put one hose on it would “spray out the other side of it”. So obviously that means I had no hot water supply to my washer. I mean come on, do these guys not carry caps for stuff like this or ask a customer if he can just spin the splitter off the valve itself to hook the hose up to it directly?

So I easily went ahead and fixed that little mess up (Also wasn’t a big fan of how the drain hose was ran). Contacted Lowe’s about my dryer, they could only get my dryer delivered another week from then. I couldn’t wait any longer and went ahead picked up myself. Installed everything myself and guess what, dryer fit like a glove next to my washer. I don’t like to complain, and I didn’t complain to them in the store about the mess ups by the installation guys. I just wanted to get this out on here to let people know for future reference when they want to go through Lowe’s for a install.

In July 2022, I purchased $11K of LVP flooring/installation services through Lowe's. I have never experienced such incompetence, disrespect, & poor workmanship as I have over the last 14 months. My flooring was installed in Aug 2022 and immediately the install was full of issues -gapping/bowing in the LVP; issues with trim/transitions; failure to follow manufacturer install specs. The Lowe's installer came to my house 6 times to perform repairs the following 9 months and eventually determined a full room needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, the replaced flooring did not match the original flooring, so I had 2 different flooring tints/textures. After the repairs, issues continued including more gapping and Lowe's claimed it was a manufacturer defect. Mohawk (manufacturer) hired an inspector who determined the issues were the result of install defects.

It was determined all LVP needed to be replaced due to the install issues. In Sept 2023, they assigned an installer to replace the flooring installed in Aug 2022. Prior to the install, I learned they hadn't coordinated a plumber to disconnect/reconnect the plumbing prior to the repair (which was their responsibility). I was told via email to find a plumber and they would reimburse me the full amount. I have not received the reimbursement ($1,697) and they are disputing charges deemed necessary by the plumber to safely disconnect the appliances. Half way through the repair, I had to pick entirely new LVP as there were product issues with the replacement LVP.

Additionally, I watched the installers dent my fridge several times which I immediately reported and documented. Lowe's & their installer continue to deny responsibility. Avoid doing business with Lowe's. This company hires budget installers with poor workmanship. I spent $11K on flooring that I wasn't able to enjoy for 14 months. After all this trouble, Lowe's has only offered me $600 which doesn't begin to compensate me for my dented fridge & trouble.

In Nov 2022 I went back to the local Lowes (Fultondale, AL) and was told they do not help with warranty claims. So, I contacted the manufacturer (Shaw), sending pictures, dates of purchase, etc. I called at least 5 times and spoke to different people each time who promised to do something (get an adjuster out, make it priority, etc) but after the phone call was over they ghosted me. Finally, a couple months ago, Shaw said they needed a form from the local Lowes store. I would have been saved all this had Lowes helped me back in Nov 2022.

Shaw emailed the manager over the local flooring department, asking for the necessary form and copied me in the email. He never replied. I have emailed him 3 more times, been back in the store to talk to 2 employees, made several phone calls (when I was told that manager was actually in the store!), left messages for him, but he has never come to the phone, or come to the service desk to meet me, or ever returned my calls. *** Our flooring is a trip hazard as it is splintering so badly. But Shaw wants to send an adjuster to view it so we have still not taken it up. But I need to take it up now before someone gets hurt!

I have been a long-time customer of Lowe's and am a retired service member. Until 2019 we have always had excellent service and product experience even if there were problems and few of those. Beginning during the pandemic we noticed a fall off of service quality but few businesses did not. This year we began to renovate a residence and a rental. In one situation a delivery of two toilets arrived, one of the boxes was in good shape and the other appeared as if it had been dropped as the box handle areas were torn.

As my wife questioned the delivery persons one took a photo of the boxes and stated that there were no problems. When I arrive home later in the evening, upon opening the boxes, I discovered that the base of a toilet was broken. On contacting the store the a manager insisted the item must have been damaged by us. This was a new occurrence for us as we have never had such a problem. My wife negotiated with a store manager who sent her home with a new toilet and the promise they would pick up the damaged product on Monday. We waited for over a week until my wife contacted the store and demanded a pickup.

A second incident occurred when we purchased a replacement washer/dryer for a rental unit. Due to difficulty in placing an online order because of my mistake, the order had to be cancelled and reordered. We felt positive about the situation despite discovering a problem with the Lowe's APP and website that created much difficulty in the cancellation. The order arrived at the agreed-upon time but there was little time to operate the appliance before having to leave. My wife returned later and was unable to operate the washer part of the appliance reliably. We contacted Lowe's to correct the situation. Despite assurances of a delivery on a specified day, the delivery team insisted they contacted my phone many times. I received only three calls from a number that was not linked to Lowe's and did not leave a voice mail.

My wife contacted the store Manager and was told the replacement was returned to the store and would not be delivered for another week. This was despite our having been informed being informed the delivery team would arrive between 12 and 4 pm with a call 30 min before arrival. The only calls I received from a non-Lowe's number were 2 at 10:31 and again at 11:22 none of which left a Voice Mail. My wife has been treated very poorly at every turn. We are not happy and feel we need to find another Firm with whom to place our trust and business...Sad and disappointed after all of these years!

My husband informed him that we discussed and it reluctantly they hauled them away. They ran our new appliances for us and then left.

When I looked in our new appliances once they were finished running I noticed that they ran them both with the owners manuals inside of them! And now, our washing machine will not drain. My husband called the following day to get someone out to fix the issue and was informed that they had an opening today (Thursday). So I stayed home from my normal job for them to show up and repair the washing machine that they installed incorrectly. Someone was supposed to give us a repair time on Wednesday night, no one called. I called the store and was informed that someone would call me this morning. No one called. I called the corporate office and was informed that the store did not actually schedule a service time, nor did the corporate office, however if I call the store they can fix the situation.

I called and spoke to Jordan, who was an absolute jerk and apparently the manager on duty. He said there was absolutely nothing he could do and it was my problem that I had to deal with. He did not try to find out how to fix the issue they caused, he did not show empathy for the situation. He should not be in a manager role. My delivery was scheduled for the exact time on the exact day I needed it to happen, and I paid to make it exactly what I needed, when I needed it. But, with no warning, the truck showed up an hour and a half early (and for the first time in history, sooner was NOT better). Now, long story short, they attempted to do their jobs without clearance yet to do so, and some damage occurred as a result.

But here's the best part: THEY are the ones, (the ONLY ones), who report back to Lowe's Service Fulfillment Center as to the completion and/or incompletion of the jobs which they are sent out to do. YOU, as a customer, CAN NOT reach the Fulfillment Center directly to tell them ANYTHING. You have to call the nationwide Lowe's customer call center, and then they have to put in a request for the Fulfillment Center to call YOU, and that can take up to 24 hrs. So if the guys who show up to do a job for Lowe's and don't actually do that job which you need done that day (or damage something while they're there), but report that they DID complete it without issue... you, the customer are SCREWED! NEGATIVE 5 STARS. NEVER, EVER AGAIN.

I asked him why didn’t he verified it worked before selling it to me. I called back to let them know the insurance would not cover the food loss like they said it would. To say the least, they treated me as if I were the problem. I will never set foot in that Lowe's again! Poor customer service and management. The managers were not sympathetic at all and seemed frustrated.

My fault, but I didn't do the math or I would've realized they were gouging me. They charged me $1,154.70 (plus an $84 delivery I wasn't expecting) and $86.71 in tax for a total of $1,325.41 which should've been $1,42.40 plus tax. Several chats, attempted chats, and one very long wait and wasted phone call later, I was basically told that I am a liar though not in those words. Expensive lesson learned .... He didn’t even nail it down just used a hot glue gun. It was a half ** job he did so I complained the next day. It is now the end of August 2023 and I cannot get this fixed. At 8am I received a text message saying my installation has been moved to 8/21/23 between 6pm and 8pm. The company Lowe's does business with is only hurting their reputation and I won't do any business with Lowe's going forward. I asked 2 different Installation support reps to get me another company to install my opener but they wouldn't do it. The first rep connected me with HandyMan services and totally disconnected from the call but did not say she would be disconnecting.

So after getting nowhere with HandyMan Services I hung and and called back only to not be helped and to be told "oh well nothing we can do.' REALLY? Ok then. I went ahead and did a full return at your store and cancelled the installation. Took my money to Home Depot and purchased the Opener from them. I made some calls myself and I have a installer coming out tomorrow 8/17/23 at 3pm-5pm. He charges the same rate as Lowe's $180. Why Lowe's couldn't pick up a phone and find me a installer, no clue. They clearly don't want my business and the employees in store acted like this is a regular occurrence and were more than happy to make the return. Pathetic.

We received an email from Premier to do measurement and test for lead paint a few days later. The next step was to be a quote from Lowe's. 10 days later no call from them so I called and got the run around as the "original" staff was not in. A week later after not hearing from anybody at Lowes we went to Lowes door and window department and spoke with a "manager" who could not find our order and stated that the "original" staff who started our order was on vacation and no other staff was able to assist with our order but him.

The "manager" finally found an order only to see that it was not set up yet. A week later we went to the door and window department to find our "original" staff who set up our order and told us that after returning from his vacation he injured himself and had to take an additional week off. He sat down with us to discuss the current process to go forward with our order only to see that from Premier's measurements we would need a "special order" door. We asked him to continue and he stated that he would get 3 different estimates and get back to us, either by phone or email. It has been an additional 10 days and we have not heard back of any progress. I checked with our Lowes account to see if any progress has been made and it is still in the "quote" stage. It has now been over a month and half and we are no closer to getting our sliding glass door than on the day we first entered Lowes.

A Plea for Accountability: Rock Shop and Lowe's Series of Unforgivable Failures. This letter serves as both an urgent warning and a call for accountability for anyone considering services from Rock Shop and Lowe’s and for its managers. The series of mistakes, negligence, and an egregious disregard for customer service that I have experienced from these companies is shocking and utterly disgraceful.

The torrent of failures began in November 2022, when I decided to order countertops from Rock Shop through Lowe's. The first issue surfaced immediately when Lowe's delivered incorrectly sized cabinets. This initiated a domino effect of delays that disrupted the entire process, from template creation to the eventual countertop installation.

The culmination of these delays was a poorly executed installation in July 2023, where the measurements of the countertops were grossly incorrect. Rock Shop, promising a quick solution, cancelled on the day of the second installation. When they finally returned for a third attempt, the measurements were even more inaccurate, showcasing their continuous and appalling lack of competence.

Throughout this chaotic situation, Lowe's Kalamazoo and Traverse City demonstrated an egregious lack of responsibility, consistently deflecting blame onto Installation Made Easy and Rock Shop. Amidst all this, the installation company was a beacon of professionalism in a sea of chaos. Compounding these issues, an employee at Lowe's Kalamazoo displayed an unacceptable level of condescension. Disturbingly, he even insinuated that I could be sued by Rock Shop, a suggestion that left me reeling. Furthermore, he and another employee threatened to cut off communication if I mentioned litigation.

In this bleak landscape, two employees from the Kalamazoo Branch, seemed willing to help, but they were hamstrung by a wall of internal policies and accomplished little. At this point, my demands are twofold. Firstly, my countertops need to be correctly installed. Secondly, I believe I deserve financial compensation from Lowe's for the time wasted, the stress endured, and the gross negligence demonstrated throughout this process.

As a gay, multicultural couple, we chose Lowe's over Home Depot, believing we shared similar values. Unfortunately, this experience has shown us that, in the end, it's better to be treated with respect by someone we disagree with than to be ignored and disrespected by those we thought would be on our side. In conclusion, my experience with Rock Shop and Lowe's has been nothing short of a nightmare. Potential customers should heed this cautionary tale; the risk of enduring such a level of frustration, stress, and blatant disregard for customer service is far too high. It is time these companies were held accountable for their actions.

My wife and I wanted new countertops for our home in Maine. Initially we went to Home Depot and had a contract with them until we found out their countertop contractor wanted me to disconnect all the plumbing so the counters could be temporarily removed for measuring the counters (i.e. countertop templates). We have had new counters put in other homes and have never been asked to disconnect the plumbing or have the counters temporarily removed. It seemed like a very inconvenient thing to do. So, we decided to see if Lowe's had a better way of doing countertops. We went to Lowe's and sat with a young man who told us Lowe's can take templates without removing the existing countertops and plumbing and can easily remove the existing countertops when the new ones are ready to be installed.

We were very pleased to hear this and so we cancelled the contract with Home Depot, who gave us a full refund, and we started a contract with Lowe's. A week or so later, I received a call from the countertop contractor who began to now list out all the things they will and won't do. It was a very bad sign and I wish I had stopped the contract with Lowe's right then and there. I was told that the contractor would come to our home to take measurements for the new counters and to check the quality of our cabinets. I asked if they would remove and take the old countertops away which the woman replied would not be a problem as long as my cabinets were in good condition. I can completely understand that. Obviously they don't want to work on crappy cabinets that are going to fall apart. So, I agreed to have the measurements taken feeling very confident that my cabinets are in good, working condition.

A week later the contractor shows up at my house and takes the measurements. I ask him if my cabinets look ok which he replies and said, "Oh yeah! No problem with the cabinets!" which I took as - they have no problem taking out the old cabinets and installing the new ones. A week later I get a call from the contractor (actually the contractor's wife who runs the business) telling me that they are not going to do the install and that I will need to find someone else to do that. Needless to say I was shocked! I probed into why they couldn't do the disassembly of the old cabinets and she really didn't have a good answer for me other than the are short on help after Covid. I then proceeded to tell her that I may be looking to cancel the contract because we were looking to have the entire project done by Lowe's. She said she was fine with that but they (the contractor) gets their $120 for coming out to take the measurements.

I was furious and felt like the wool just got pulled down over my eyes and I got a punch in the nose. So, these guys get $120 for taking measurements after we were lead to believe they were going to do the whole project and now they won't do some of the work? I went back to Lowe's and their Installation Team which is a complete joke because they are not actually part of Lowe's. They are a completely different company or something like that. I made my case and talked to Lowe's in Sanford, Maine, Lowe's Installation Team and the Lowe's Refund Department and they were not willing to refund all of my money. I was stuck! I'm writing this review and I wish I could give it a zero (0) star.

This is the last project I do with Lowe's and also with Home Depot (because their contractors stink too). There is no one to protect the consumer any more and these big companies just don't care about me. From now on, I will find my own contractors and request 3 references before I write a check out. By the way, this is the second big project I've done with Lowe's and the first project almost turned out to be a disaster too. There will not be a third project with Lowe's.

Last weekend we purchased patio furniture to be delivered. I was told they would email me my receipt and I would receive and email about delivery. After 3 days, received nothing. Called store at 2pm thinking they should not be busy. Immediately put on hold. Waited 20 minutes and then called back. Immediately put on hold, waited 25 minutes. Called back again and was on hold for 30 minutes this time.

At dinner discussed with my spouse and we decided to drive all the way there to find out about our order. I decided to call while on our way. Actually, got to talk to a person. She took my info and put me on hold. We arrived 18.5 mins later. No customers were in line. Customer service rep was just standing there looking dumb. The phone was constantly bleeping. They provided terrible customer service on purpose. This isn't the only time we have had issues. We will now drive several miles further to the Home Depot. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! They actually hate their customers and provide terrible service on purpose!!!

We purchased cabinets from Lowe's (back in early 2022). The entire process was a disaster and took well over a year due to repeated errors, miscommunications between services, and unwillingness to resolve issues. Lowes requires payment in full upon ordering (and now we know why...because then when things go wrong, you cannot withhold payment until the job is completed to customer satisfaction).

Wrong cabinets ordered, extreme delays in shipping and installation, damage to cabinets (upon arrival AND as a result of poor installation). Originally offered $4500 in compensation, but when cabinets ordered incorrectly a SECOND time, Lowe's declined to reorder again and install the correct ones, leaving us with a kitchen that does not meet the terms of the contract, does not have matching cabinetry AND then reduced compensation to $750 while asking us to sign an NDA so that we would not share our experience online. Filed a complaint with BBB and Lowes claimed the matter had been resolved.

Lowe's picked and delivered the wrong product then said it's my problem now? Offered no exchange or replacement. We have used lowes for 4 to five 5K projects but am now scared off. I guess I will move to another vendor.

DO NOT BUY REPLACEMENT WINDOWS FROM LOWE'S. I purchase windows last April from Lowes. Installation has been a nightmare. To summarize it is almost a year and a half and the job is not complete. Way too much time trying to resolve the problem. BEWARE!!!

June 14 bought a Samsung 4 door refrigerator/freezer from Lowe’s. June 15 appliance delivered and installed. June 18 freezer stopped working. June 18 called Lowe’s in Boca Raton at 9:30 AM and ask to speak to Manager. They took my name and number and said they were call me back. At 11:30 AM went down to Lowe’s. Spoke to a manager and told her about my issue. The manager then took me to the appliance department and asked, "Who sold you the refrigerator." I pointed out the guy. I told the manager that when I bought the appliances I was told if anything went wrong with the appliances I had 30 days. Well the manager said that was incorrect and I was given the wrong information. The manager told me that if you pay with a credit card; (not a Lowe’s Credit Card); you only have 48 hours to return it if not satisfied. If you paid with Lowes Credit Cards, you then have 30 days to return it if not satisfied.

Also the extended warranty does not go into effect until 1 year after the manufacturer warranty. I told the manager no one, including the associate told me this. The manager said that there was nothing they could do for me. I told the manager that since they screwed up they should live up to the mistake and do the right thing and not make the customer suffer for their mistake. Well the manager at that point asked me to leave if she was calling the authorities. She said, "You can call the GM tomorrow." So we left.

June 19, called GM of store and was told about their new protocols and there were no exceptions whether it was the associates fault or not. The GM said he was sorry and to call Samsung. Called Samsung and they opened a ticket for service. Call Samsung again, they pulled up my ticket and then reached out to a Samsung Service Tech in my area. The Samsung Service Tech reached me by Test and scheduled an appointment for June 28.

Call Lowe’s Corporate to see if I could get anywhere. Explain my issue and was told up and down about their new protocols and there was nothing they could do for me. Lowe's told me if Samsung found the appliance nonrepairable, then Samsung would have to reach out to the GM from Lowe’s where I bought it from and it would be the GM discretion on replacing my appliance through Lowes. If Lowe's won’t replace it then it’s up to Samsung to make good on the appliance. So now I have no freezer that works, only a half working refrigerator, no Back up refrigerator, have 2 wait 2 weeks just to have a tech look at refrigerator, possibly after tech looks at refrigerator, wait longer for parts and lost over $500 of food that Lowes said was my problem. What a nightmare.

We purchased an appliance 6/1/23 and on Thursday 6/15/23 we received an email advising a delivery date of 6/16/23 between 10:00am and 2:00pm. On 6/16/23 at 7:34am we received an email telling us our item was out for delivery. On 6/16/23 at 9:47am we received an email that they were unable to deliver our item. After numerous phone call were we were put on lengthy holds, we were told our item didn’t make it on the truck from Houston but would be received and delivered on Sunday 6/18/23. On Saturday 6/17/23 at 4:37 pm we received an email telling us our delivery would be made between 11:00am and 3:00pm on Sunday 6/18/23 between 11:00am and 3:00pm. We did not receive the delivery and called at 3:30 and we were told the item did not make it on the truck to the delivery warehouse and when it arrived they would schedule “accordingly”. Lengthy calls on hold and a total lack of concern from Lowe’s associates and no idea where our purchase is located or when it will be delivered. Absolutely terrible ongoing experience.
