    I’m beyond frustrated with Lowe’s delivery service. We’ve had to reschedule twice now because they claim they can’t get their truck down our driveway. The second time, they were supposed to send a smaller truck—but guess what? They sent another truck that was still too big! The most ridiculous part? Larger trucks have made it to our house before without any problems. So either they’re not bothering to check their own notes, or they just don’t care. At this point, I don’t know if we’ll ever get our delivery. Do better, Lowe’s! #CustomerServiceFail #Lowe’s

    Customer service non existent. No Cashiers/All self checkout. Corporate clearly does not care. I’ve left shopping carts full of hundreds of dollars at the front of this store a few times due to them telling me I have to self checkout. I now use this store to “window shop” and then buy off Amazon.

    Really bad shipping service, I order some tables for my business and I choose the schedule, every day the time of the time frame change from the other end, 1 day before I receive an email saying from 8 am to 12 pm will be delivered, and a driver call me 7 am morning saying that he was going to arrive at 7: 30 am, I told him that I receive a text dad, they suppose to deliver from eight am to twelve pm, he told me it's fine. I will do and another deliveries. And then I will drop your stuff like in 40 minutes. And later I received a text around 940 saying, the dad. They're going to be delivering the package between 10: 30 am to 2:30 pm, so I was stuck waiting for my equipment they cannot do that, change the schedule. How they want it? If it's something is scheduled for someday a certain time. There's gotta be that way. Because everybody have things to do. Especially if you have a business or need to go to work

    Horrible attitude by manager. I went to one location, bought a power tool and they didn’t have the other power tool that I wanted but they referred me to the Fruitville road Sarasota store. After driving there, they couldn’t find it but there was another one in different package (had hard case instead of soft case but all the rest was the same). I asked manager if he could sell this one at the other’s price. Blunt no, which, okay. I explained that and associate and I searched for the one that they showed in stock and that I was referred by the other store, he said “not my problem”. That was this evening on 2/28/25. So I returned the power tool that I bought at the other location at this location. No more business for Lowe’s, I’ll buy it somewhere else.

    Have no problem with GE Profile washer and dryer. Have had for 3 weeks now and I am pleased with product. Now the area I am not pleased with. I was told by Lowes salesperson Sanford Maine if I contacted him after delivery took place he would give me a 5% discount because I was unable to get it by using the Lowes credit card. Bottom line it was a lie and after multiple attempts using email, phone calls etc. I basically got blown off and no discount was given. Lowes do not tell someone you will do something if it is not true.

    I went to Lowe's to shop for a new dishwasher. I found a Beautiful top end Samsung. They told me it was in stock, but installation is behind and may take a couple weeks. But I signed up anyways. The installer called and said they were over 3 weeks behind. After waiting almost a month, the dishwasher came. Before it got off the truck we could see is was all scratched and banged up. We sent it back. Lowe's called and said they would order another, but it would be 3 more weeks. This is after almost a month of waiting already. My wife was in tears. I went to a local appliance dealer and they got me the same dishwasher and installed it in 3 days (not 3 weeks). And not a scratch or dent on it. Also, the salesman at lowe's was very rude. I was treated with respect at the local appliance dealer. I will never shop lowe's again. Not even for a nut or bolt.

    I bought a dishwasher from Lowe's, and it was delivered and installed in 3 days. In fact, Lowe's send out two different installers with dishwashers for my order. This is after waiting 25 days for Home Depot to install a dishwasher. Buy from Lowe's and not Home Depot.

    What a mistake to order material for delivery!!! 3 deliveries, over 3 hours worth of phone calls, two trips to the store, and dealing with delivery people and personnel who have no concept of customer service, and that is just to get a refund for their mistakes. And still don’t have anything in my hands! AWFUL AND MISERABLE EXPERIENCE! Never ever again. They do things wrong over and over again instead of doing it right the first time. People in store at service desk finally helped. They all look frustrated. Seems poor decision making on management side by hiring cheap "third parties" for delivery, and then it all comes down on service. Come on Lowe’s! Read what your customers are saying and do something about it.

    I had a dishwasher delivery with installation yesterday. I have dealt with Lowe's delivery before and I thought it would be the same poor communication, shoddy work. Boy was I surprised. Thoz Guys thru CRST Home Solutions were excellent. They were polite, professional, communicated the product and service and cleaned up after they were done. The Servicers names were Tony and Chris. I would highly recommend this group.

    If I could give no stars I absolutely would. My husband and I placed an order in February 9th to have tiles delivered on February 19th. Well that day passed and I called looking for an update and they stated it’ll be delivered the following day. I have called both the store and the customer support line to get an update and I keep getting promised the same thing “we guarantee it’ll be delivered tomorrow.” Well here we stand on February 26th no delivery no tiles no updates. Keep in mind I have no received any updates on my products. Well I call in again to support to be told they don’t even have the full amount for my order which is why it’s been delayed.

    Maria from customer support advised that it’s because they don’t have the product. Why has no one informed me of this every time I have called in. I requested to speak to a supervisor and she repeatedly kept denying me to talk to anyone and kept giving me excuses as to why she couldn’t transfer me and that the supervisor would say them same thing. I repeated myself 6 times before she got the memo. I have now sat on hold for over 10 minutes waiting for a supervisor. By far the worst experience I have ever had with a company.

    I don’t recommend using Lowe’s for anything at this point. I’d rather pay three times the cost to get my things done and delivered correctly. And before someone from Lowe’s tries to make a comment that this is fabricated I have phone calls and text messages to provide. Mark the manager made excuses as well and explained that Lowe’s originally messed up and didn’t update the system. I explained very frustratedly how this is unacceptable and he told me to just cancel the order and there’s nothing they can do. Terrible, terrible company. Did not try and make anything right and resolve the problem.

    This has been one of the most frustrating flooring installation experiences I've ever had. Originally scheduled for completion by November 2024, the project faced multiple delays due to various issues, including the unavailability of the promised luxury vinyl flooring. As a result, it wasn't finished until January 2025, which is completely unacceptable! There was a lack of transparency around pricing, particularly when a cheaper vinyl was used, and more carpet was added instead of vinyl. To make matters worse, inaccurate measurements by the contractors led to insufficient materials being ordered, and poor communication only compounded the problem. Overall, I am extremely disappointed and will likely avoid Lowe's for any future major projects.

    We purchased a refrigerator to be installed by Lowe's, however in their cost cutting and screwing the customers, they use a 3rd party. Once at our house (we have a steep driveway) they came in, said that the door was too small to get the refrigerator in the house. Then left and did not tell us anything. After a day of trying to get answers, it was totally frustrating. Save yourself time and emotional distress and buy from a local store. Lowe's is too big and you cannot get in touch with anyone that can help you. The stores are not even able to get answers as well.

    I had two rooms of flooring done. The installers were Top Notch!! Polite, kind, knowledgeable, did whatever I needed. They did a perfect job. Left the area spotless and moved all the furniture in. I have had many a floors put down but this was the best experience I ever had! Thank you Lowe's for having such great installers!

    Purchased a new dishwasher and installation. Installer came to our house, took one look at old dishwasher and said he cannot install. Packed up his stuff and left. I was to get the haul away of the old unit also, which never happened. The problem was simply old house vs new dishwasher, something nobody at Lowe's or the installer ever said one word about. We can't be the only house like this where this problem has occurred. Some warning would have been nice. I ended up installing myself, which honestly wasn't that difficult. Their installers obviously don't think outside their very small box.

    I purchased a faucet from Lowe's, including installation. Because of financial issues that arise after purchasing, I told installer to cancel as I would be returning faucet. Once the faucet arrived, I went to Lowe's returns website where I first learned that installation costs are not refundable. Such notice should be clearly displayed on purchase page, but is not. This is clearly dishonest. This was my first such order. I will never do another. Beware, get your own installer who only gets paid for work done.

    Very rude staff. Bought a new dishwasher along with a new range, new refrigerator, counter top cabinets and more contractors. Got all done with kitchen and went to try out dishwasher and it don't work. Called Lowe's and they said when you buy it and we told them been getting stuff for past 6 months. Just got all installed and done with. They said, "Too bad you have to go to the manufacturer. We can't help you" after we spent over 10,000.00 with them.

    Lowe's sends criminals to your home! I ordered a dishwasher from Lowe's, and the installer broke into my home through the back door. He damaged private property, threatened my wife, and refused to leave when she asked him to. He only left when we threatened to call the police. We called Lowe's three times afterward and did not receive a single apology. Instead, they tried to shift the blame onto us. Unbelievable! An incredibly unfriendly company that sends criminals to your home! We are already in contact with our lawyer to take action against Lowe's. If anyone has had similar experiences with Lowe's, please contact us for a class-action lawsuit.

    Lowe's turned my kitchen renovation into an 8 month nightmare. The measurements were wrong, the sink was wrong, the cabinets were the wrong size. The countertop subcontractor installed scratched counters. No warranty. Lowe's took no accountability for anything. I was out thousands by the time my kitchen was finally done. It took 8 months and was nothing like the original design. Lowe's gaslit me the entire time. After working with executive customer relations for months (because my local store washed their hands off me) I received $1,000 "compensation." Too bad I was out around $12,000 and any warranty I had. I hate Lowe's!!

    I ordered online some wall panels to complete a bathroom renovation. I received the order confirmation with my correct address and confirmation for next day delivery. The next day, the Lowe's driver called because they couldn't find the address. Somehow, my address had been replaced with another address (that didn't exist in my town). I had to call their customer service number to report the wrong address, and then my order was cancelled. Even though they cancelled the order, they still charged me. I put in a dispute with my credit card; I'm sure they eventually will reverse the charge, but I don't want to have that balance sitting in my account accruing interest. I don't understand how their computer system can screw up something that should be so automated so royally! If you are going in person, I'm sure your order will be fine. But if you are depending on their computer system to process any of your purchase, be prepared for confusion and delay.

    Horrible "corporate customer service". I placed an online order for vertical blinds. I requested length of 96 1/2. They came in at 95. The "customer service" told me they couldn't do anything and I could return them to the store. Like I have a vehicle to accommodate the size of the boxes. When I asked the representative for a solution she said I could call the manufacturer. I asked her to call with me and she said that would take too much of her time!!!! I asked for a manager and after holding for a long time got one who told me the same thing but did offer to schedule a pick up for the product return. I asked for her boss and she said there wasn't one. Asked for the corporate escalations and guess what? Isn't one.

    Tried locating a way to get to corporate escalations or even email, can't find it. Called manufacturer Levolor, they were awesome! Within 8 minutes they apologized and are sending me the corrected product and don't want the incorrect product back as they don't want to inconvenience me further. Perhaps Lowe's can get some customer service training from Levolor.

    My experience at Lowe’s has been a nightmare. Went to a store in Mississippi and I purchased a LG side-by-side refrigerator and a LG stove. A hour before the two items were supposed to be delivered The truck driver call and said he was an hour away with my refrigerator and I said, “and my stove," then he let me know that it was a recall on the stove which Lowe’s never did email me about or nobody got in contact with me. I already have been waiting two weeks for those two items to be delivered so I told him hold back on the refrigerator while I contact Lowe’s and see what’s going on there.

    I was able to get a refund in cash, but I had to pick it up in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. While waiting on my refund they just informed me that my refrigerator that was supposed to be delivered that day was not gonna be delivered because the date in the computer was changed to the 21st of the month which would be two weeks later. This has been a stressful experience, trying to get a kitchen, detailed and redone and I don’t even have my appliances that I need. I would never shop at Lowe’s again. Anybody who’s thinking about shopping there, shop around. You can find deals anywhere.

    I was told at the time my order was suppose to be delivered the driver forgot the thousand or so pounds of construction material I ordered. Called the help line and was told all they do is re schedule in these cases. Because of the rain my project will be delayed at least a week and I am out of pocket on the installers. They said they might give me a credit after delivery but refused to give any percent or amount till after delivery. Then I have to call again and ask for the mystery credit. I didn't receive my order or any help. All they cared about was getting my money up front.

    I will never purchase another appliance from Lowe’s again. I don’t need to be this stressed out over an appliance purchase! Bought a NEW dryer from them. It was delivered to me with a dent in the front. The delivery guys saw the dent too, and said I should call to get some sort of refund. When I called about the refund, I was told that IF they give me some money back on the dented dryer, that it would be marked as an AS IS sale. If I wanted an AS IS sale with no kind of warranty, I would’ve bought a dryer off of Facebook marketplace. I refused to have my purchase marked AS IS and was told I will get a new dryer. I went through the whole process of getting a new dryer delivered. What a waste of everybody’s time! Why force a customer to accept their sale being marked AS IS when the dent was their fault in the first place?

    Delivery of Samsung fridge came with a huge buckle/dent on right side panel door...the side with the water dispenser. Though product was boxed, the drivers' rental Penske truck had free floating product junk so lord knows how the dent got there. The bachagaloops had the nerve to expect my husband and I to take the damaged product. NO!!!! HEY LOWE'S, STOP BEING CHEAP AND HIRE YOUR OWN DELIVERY DRIVERS.

    This is what Lowe's customer service is like. We bought a dryer. First they didn't connect it correctly and there was an error code. They came back the next day and changed the airduct which they said was fine on the day of delivery. Well when they changed the duct they managed to disconnect the washer's drainage hose next to the dryer. When we used the washer, the washer flooded the entire downstairs including the carpet in the room across from the machine. When you call Lowe's they say they can only send a person out the next day but not to fix the flooding but to fix the washer that they damaged in a DRYER deliver. The woman was not a nice person. She told us we have to file a claim to cover the water damage. We knew it had to be addressed right away otherwise the carpet was sure to mold and be ruined.

    We had to call an emergency water damage recovery service ourselves that day. It was such a mess. Half a dozen commercial dryers were set up in the house, to dry for three days, and we had to empty half a room. It was a complete mess to clean up and they had to rip up carpet and cut out wet carpet padding. $3500 just the water removal charges. Lowe's customer service is now saying the company they used for delivery is NOT insured for damages and that Lowe's will not not cover it!?! This is not a mom and pop local shop with some of their kids doing delivery. I could understand this mistake if this were the case. This is a major corporation sending an uninsured company to set up your home appliances. You better believe we cancelled the refrigerator delivery we had originally bought. Imagine if they break the water line to the house. No insurance to fix this.

    Now after we had to wait a total 5 days to use the brand new dryer, the dryer it still gives an error message. Now Lowe's says it's not their problem because they only offer returns or refunds after 2 days on appliances. They said this item is not refundable. They directed us to call the appliance company. You bet it's going to be another $200 service charge. This is just outrageous. Absolute worst customer service ever. Don't ever buy anything from here!

    I recently had a very disappointing experience with Lowe's that I feel compelled to share. I encountered what seemed to be a classic case of bait and switch and false advertising. On December 2, 2024, I ordered a Microwave Wall Oven Combo online after mine broke on Thanksgiving Day. After several delays in delivery (December 17th, 25th, January 1st, 4th, and 18th), my order was suddenly canceled on January 23rd without explanation.

    That day, I reached out to Customer Service to find out why my order was canceled. After putting me on hold many times, they finally said that the item was out of stock and that I could opt for a similar but significantly more expensive alternative. This felt like a clear bait and switch tactic. Moreover, the original product continued to be advertised on their website as available, as well as the manufacturer’s website and various other store as available, which is misleading and a prime example of false advertising.

    Despite reaching out to customer service three times for a resolution, their responses were unhelpful and dismissive. This experience has left me frustrated and distrustful of Lowe's practices. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and make the necessary changes to ensure honest advertising and reliable stock information in the future. Until then, I would advise others to be cautious when shopping here.

    My mom gave me a $400 mini dishwasher that hooked up to the faucet in my house. The problem is that it doesn't fit my particular faucet. We tried to return it, but they said it had to be returned within 48 hours of purchase. It was a Christmas gift. I did not even have it in my possession within 48 hours. It was never hooked up or even completely unboxed. Now, my mom has wasted $400, and we will never shop at Lowes again. What a terrible policy, especially around Christmas time.

    I purchased a remnant piece of carpet two days ago, paid for it. My name and telephone number were put on the piece of carpet and was marked sold. I went back today to get the carpet with my receipt and was told the carpet had been sold. They offered to refund me the money which I refused as I told them to cut me another piece of carpet the same size off the roll that they had. They told me that I was supposed to have taken the carpet with me right away. I told the sales person I couldn’t take it with me right then I would have to come back because I didn’t have a vehicle I could fit it in. He said that was fine. Put my name on the carpet telephone number and marked it sold the manager TEE **, who I spoke to refused to give me another piece of carpet and told me I could pay full price. I told him that was not acceptable and then he told me they didn’t have any more of that carpet left.

    I went back to the rack and lo and behold there was a role of that exact same carpet. Not only did he lie to me, but did nothing to resolve the situation except offer me my money back. This is a poor example of customer service and I will be escalating this to the general manager, regional director and corporate office if necessary and if necessary, I will get my attorney involved. I purchased a product, did not receive it. They sold it and will not replace the product that I purchased.

    Terrible customer service. Lowes is another example of a woke big corporation being run by idiots who have hired consultants who have told them to get rid of human customer service and force customers to deal with chat bots and texting or use their foreign call centers with idiots who cannot speak english and have no authority to correct problems.     I am writing this letter to provide feedback on a situation that I believe was handled very poorly by not only a Lowe's manager but their 3rd party vendor that works for them. The store is the Marquette Lowe's location and the 3rd party vendor was for appliance delivery. Order # ** I purchased my Whirlpool refrigerator from Lowe's last year and it did not work properly. I contacted Whirpool and they agreed to replace it. I opted to use the option of getting another one through my local Lowe's. I went to the store and they had my information and I chose to go with the same model. I was surprised that I had to pay for it up front but did so to facilitate the exchange.

    The refrigerator arrived 3 weeks later and delivery was scheduled. At no time was I informed of the conditions for the exchange & pickup of the defective unit. Delivery date came and they gave me a delivery timeframe of between 3pm - 7pm. This was good for me. I received a call at 1pm stating they would be there in 15 minutes. I Told them that would not work as they were supposed to call 1 hr before delivery and this was significantly before their allotted time frame. I got a call from their manager about 10 minutes later as I was hurrying home(1 hour drive) stating he would just do another delivery before ours then deliver. This was great as it gave me time to get home and clear the driveway of snow.

    They arrived at about 2:50pm and came in to look at the installation. Even though neither spoke good English I told them that the refrigerator was still full and I wanted to make sure the new one was not damaged before unloading it. They went and got a strap to move my defective refrigerator and started to tip it at an extreme angle. I immediately stated again that the refrigerator was full and they stood it upright and at that point they looked inside and everything started to go bad. One of the movers immediately started talking angrily in a foreign language and cursing to the other and pointing at his watch. The other mover stated that the refrigerator was supposed to be empty. I reiterated that I wanted to make sure the new one was not damaged before unloading it and that no one told me they required it to be empty prior to arrival.

    I then attempted to call a manager at Lowe's as this was escalating quickly. I was unable to contact one and then the movers manager called and they gave me their phone. Our conversation was more about why I didn't have my refrigerator empty as it was required. I stated that no one said it was required prior to delivery even though we had coolers set up ready to empty it quickly if needed. I stated I wanted to inspect the new one first. He said I could go and look in the back of the truck and I agreed to do so. I told him I was on hold for a manager at Lowe's at which point he said "take it back", he then said "give the phone back to my guys".

    He told them to take the new refrigerator back and not complete the delivery. They left. I called and was finally able to talk to a manager at Lowe's in Marquette and relayed the story as was witnessed by my wife. The manager said I was supposed to have it empty. I stated at no time while ordering the replacement refrigerator, nor anytime thereafter were we informed of the need to have the refrigerator empty prior to arrival. The words she used next were unacceptable to a customer. She said it was like we were "HOLDING THEM HOSTAGE". We were the ones held hostage as we had no recourse and no replacement refrigerator! She said she would arrange a delivery at my convenience and after a pause for her to check she stated that they would not deliver my refrigerator!

    Absolutely terrible customer service and forcing us to endure delays, inconvenience and the cost of my having to take time off work to facilitate this exchange. We were the hostages and abandoned by Lowe's! We have had delivery issues with Lowe's previously as well and the language barrier between them and us is absurd for customer care.

    I hope the manager's conversation with me was recorded for quality assurance as she needs education in customer care. She totally decided the 3rd party movers were right in what they did! She apologized for us not knowing or being informed of the delivery requirements. Proving Lowes was at fault and this is what started the entire scenario. This situation needs to be properly resolved so it never happens to another customer. I am awaiting corporate response before sharing my letter on my social media pages. To help prevent other potential customers of the risks we were exposed to.

    If you want brand new windows installed that leak consistently (the windows started leaking one month after the install), by all means go to your local Lowe’s store and have them service you. The bad installing also comes with horrible contractors, gaslighting of the customers, damages to your property from the consistent leaking, and no accountability from Lowe’s. You’ll also be left to hire someone else to redo the mess that they’ve made. If you enjoy having these types of problems in your life’s, then you should definitely consider hiring Lowe’s for all of your window installation needs! If you want a great product, an installation that’s done correctly, a company that cares about their customers, and a company that holds themselves accountable, then you should find someone else to do it!     I ordered a GE stove on December 30, 2024. They promised it would be delivered on January 11, 2025. Couple days before delivery. They called and said it would not be in. When I ordered the stove. I told him I did not have a working stove and that I need one as soon as possible. They looked it up and said they didn’t have any warehouse, but they had five and another place that they would ship down to them and then ship out to me on January 11. I need to find out on January 7. They could not keep their word. They told me I would now receive it on February 4. Call their Lowe’s customer care lines and the guy on the phone was very uncaring. Just told me to order a different type of stove and they would get that one to me. Told him my wife only wanted the one that we ordered. He then promised me that it would be in on February 4.

    I asked him that in for in writing and he said he could not give it to me. I told him, "Then your promise means nothing to me." I’m going to the store twice to find out that nobody can tell me when I’m going to get it so I’ve had to eat out for almost a month, month and a half costing me a lot of money because they promised me something that they couldn’t deliver and I paid for it on credit card. So now I’m paying interest on something I have not received and who knows if I’m ever going to get it because the last person I talk to said he doesn’t think February 4 is an actual date. That it’s only an estimate. That it could be a week or two after that. And every time I look online I see the stove with a promised date of a week after the actual date that I look at the online and meaning when I looked on January 11, they told me I could have it delivered on January 18.

    Don’t know how they could promise that when they don’t even have them in stock but they keep putting it on sale and telling you you can get it but you can’t. I don’t understand how they can put something on sale and not have it. Take your mone, give you nothing and then just give you to run around. This will be the last time. I probably buy an appliance from Lowe’s. I’ve been dealing with them for 30 years and I didn’t expect to be treated like this. I thought I was a good customer spending thousands of dollars a year and considering I used my Lowe’s contractors credit card you would think that they would treat me better knowing that I do a lot of business with them and I pay on time. To me if they would’ve told me upfront that they didn’t know when they would get it in. I probably would’ve went somewhere else, but they gave me a date for delivery and then did not keep their promise, but they kept my money.

    We purchased a Fridgedare side by side refrigerator in August of 2023. It died that December and they Lowe’s from Seabrook New Hampshire replaced it and sent another one. That one lasted until the following spring. The Lowe’s assistant manager Niomi was zero help and I was on the phone for a combined ten hours. Lowe’s. Lowe’s said it was still under manufactures warranty because it was under a year old. Fridgedare sent a repairman and determined the fridge was defective. Lowe’s sent a delivery service and picked up that one. I paid Lowe’s in full for the fridge. They claim they refunded the money but no record of it showed up on our Lowe’s card. I filled two disputes and even though I provided my documentation for paying. No record of the refund exists. Our next step is filing an unfair and deceptive practices lawsuit. I will never buy another product from Lowe’s agai.

    I purchased a storm door from Lowe's. Everything set to go. Poor Boys did not show up. Next day PB called to reschedule because the installer had an emergency. Ok,, things happen. Rescheduled again. No show again. Rescheduled AGAIN for a Saturday and STILL NO SHOW NO CALL. Lowe's needs to hold them accountable for their actions but they were not any better than PB. I will never let PB do another thing for me.. nor Lowe's. They don’t care about these reviews because I am a drop in their bucket.     I would not recommend using Lowe’s for any window installation. They use fly by night window manufacturers that work thru Lowe’s. We had window installed years ago which we were told by the Lowe’s sales rep were lifetime manufacturer's warranty. Kensington Windows Inc was the manufacturer. Beware of any brand that Lowe’s sells with this type of “warranty.” They usually are only in business for approximately 6-8 years and then you're out of luck and Lowe’s will not do anything to help you except recommend that you get another quote from them to have new windows put in.

    Their entire system is rigged to rip the consumer off. The manufacturer will then open up another window business under a different name and the cycle starts all over again. Our so called lifetime windows are all warped and don’t allow water to escape thru the weep holes because there is not a drainage hole in the sill. Lowe’s should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this but I guess it’s all about their bottom line $$$.

    This firm is contracted by Lowe’s (and other companies) to do the install work on household appliances you buy. On a recent purchase I placed with Lowe’s I was informed by phone the install would happen in 2 days. Later during the same day, I received a sneaky text message rescheduling the install 10 days later without my consent! A call to Crume Installation did not resolve the scheduling issue which resulted with me canceling my order with Lowe’s. The main weight in this mishap is certainly with the third-party provider but Lowe’s also has some butter on its head. Lowe’s should have a better contingency and vet its suppliers better.

    I wish I'd done more research before my wife and I purchased new entry and storm doors for our house. This has been the absolute worst customer experience OF MY LIFE, bar none. Lowe's managed to screw up the orders so that we were short one door when it came time to install. Also, their installer was unresponsive. The first time they came out they showed up just before sundown to do six and a half hours of work. They had both the front and back of my house open to the elements (30 degrees) in the dark and weren't done until 10:30 p.m. Also, I had to go to the store and pick up the parts they didn't have to complete the job. The remaining storm door arrived a month later and it took another week to get it installed.

    After all was said and done, Lowe's Install Center offered a $103 refund, which I take as an insult. We bought thousands of dollars in products and were treated with apathy and disrespect at every turn. Their customer service is as bad as their installation services. Personally, I will NEVER buy a single thing from them ever again. Please heed my advice; NEVER GO TO LOWE'S FOR ANY KIND OF INSTALLATION WORK. You will be disappointed, angry or both.

    On Jan. 8, I went to Lowe's in Paris, TN and ordered a washer and dryer. The order was completed and I was told that they would contact me when they had a delivery date. When I got the delivery notice and found that instead of a washer and dryer, they had 2 dryers on the order. I called my local store and they had me call the Nashville warehouse.     I Ordered a garage door opener, the installation is scheduled before the wall controller showed up. Handy Technology Inc which is Angi.com, text us a time of 11AM until 2PM for the installation, at three I called the number for Handy Technologies the agent said “we do not show you on our calendar” then, the same person refused to allow the call to be escalated. I called Lowe’s local store in Sulphur Springs TX, I obtained the install customer service number. I called that number and held while they called Handy Technologies (Lowe’s showed an install scheduled from 11AM-2PM). But, when the agent with Lowe’s called they came back and told me it was scheduled at 4:00-4:30PM. Handy Technology lied and then lied to Lowe’s, the Lowe’s agent accepted the lie and told me that we are scheduled 4-4:30PM so Lowe’s has simply accepted the slop from the third party they partner with and Lowe’s pawns the lies off as truth.

    Lowe’s is pathetic in this transaction, I wasted hours of my day from work to meet someone who was never scheduled, Angi/Handy has a call center offshore that could careless, most likely the install will be shoddy because everything else in an organization that pawns lies is shoddy. FWIW your install person cannot install what was ordered because the wall controller is NOT here, given that, your sloppy shoddy lying operation will require wasted money to come complete job correctly!

    That said, you already knew that Angi is crooked because 5 minutes of research on my part shows a 2.95 million dollar lawsuit settled on behalf of the technicians that Angi corruptly withheld money from for the installs they completed. Lowe’s wears this sloppy situation because you took my money to profit with Angi. Your company cannot claim it cares about quality or being equitable! Lowe’s laughs and accepts the lying to its customers by Lowe’s third party vendors even though Lowe’s has documentation in front of them to the contrary.

    Wife bought me a pressure washer for Christmas (electric), she knows nothing about tools, etc, etc, but she knows I have been wanting one. She bought it on the 23rd of December and gave it to me on Christmas Day. I was happy and thanked her but told her I want a gas one. So because of work I had no time to go to Lowe’s to exchange for a gas one. So today 1/9/25 I go to Lowe’s to exchange for a gas one. They tell me they have a 48 hour return policy. So it was bought on the 23rd and gifted to me on the 25th. Way past 48 hours. All they did was apologize and said that’s policy. Receipt has nothing like that for customers to see. I call Lowe’s corporate. Got the run around for over an hour for them to say that’s the policy. Never again will I shop at Lowe’s and I hope people that read this think twice before shopping at Lowe’s.

    Lowe’s is a reputable company, but Lowe’s Protection Plan is a horrible and irresponsible plan. Their working pattern is to give policyholders hard time, shirk responsibility, or delay the process, deny, refuse or assign an irresponsible company to carry out repairs, ultimately causing the policyholders to give up because they cannot bear the complicated procedures over and over again.

    I went through the painful experience of filing eight claims in two months to repair my refrigerator. They assigned 4 different companies to repair, I got several denies, refiled claims, and complicated procedures over and over again, the refrigerator still not be fixed up to today. We suffered every day without a refrigerator for almost two months, but we don’t want to give up. Although we don’t want to damage Lowe’s reputation, my attorney and I will file a lawsuit if Lowe’s continue this way.

    We purchased an LG dishwasher and paid $169 for installation and parts. The first installer showed up with no water line. He said, “Hand me the water line”. I told him that we were told they would have the parts needed, and they just left with the dishwasher still in the box. Four days later, a new installer shows up with the wrong water line for an LG dishwasher. He went ahead and installed it with our old waterline even though he said he wasn’t supposed to and told us that it could start leaking.

    After he left, we drove to Lowe’s to exchange the incorrect water line for the correct one. The salesman had no idea that the dishwasher kit line was unusable for an LG dishwasher. I was on hold for 50 minutes today with the installation company that Lowe’s uses, CRS Solutions, to get them to come replace the old line with the new one. We were told we would hear from someone in 2 business days. We will see if that happens. Bottom line- Do Not Pay For Lowe's Installation. It is a joke.

    I would not even give them 1 star. Lowe's uses a company called CRST Home Solutions #844-347-5053 for their installs. They show up in a Uhaul truck and male tech has no ID to show customer. This co messed up my Oak Cabinet - drilled a u shape hole, cut my power cord, left a mess under the sink and on the counter, left power cord to new dishwasher and water line laying on top of each other on bottom of cabinet, didn't install - place drain or water line correct on back of machine and now Oak panel on cabinet won't fit. Left huge hole facing my living room. Tech did not test machine before he left. When I went to turn it on shows error code being off balance. Lowes install (877-695-7664) refused to send a different company to do this right. May have to return this dishwasher due lack of Lowes customer service and how this disabled veteran is being treated by them.

    Purchased an LG washer and dryer combo at Lowe's. I used the unit the next day. It was making lots of noise. I called customer service the next day to come over and check the unit, but I was told the department was closed and that they would leave a message to take my information and they will contact me within the next day. I waited a few days and called back. Tell me the same history. Never heard from them. Besides the problem I had with the noise on the unit I was also having issues with the unit with the dryer. It was not drying the garments leaving them damp. I had to do 3 different cycles and use towel mode so it could dry the clothes.

    Sometimes it will work other times the unit will say sensoring and it will stay on for a few hours leaving the garment wet and burning hot. I will let the unit cool off and then try again. I search on Google and Youtube about the combo LG washer and dryer to check what I was doing wrong. A few people said the garment will feel a little damp but if you shake it will feel dry. I thought I would give it a try before I went ahead and called Lowe's or LG. Time passed. The unit continued not drying the clothes just the same way as the very first day I received the unit home. I called Lowe's and reported the problem. They had told me because I have 6 months with the unit they can help me and I have to call the LG warranty.

    I explained to them how I was supposed to use LG for the warranty when the unit had not dried the clothes properly from the time it was delivered and my clothing was drying smelling like a dead rat. They answered is there was nothing they could do. I had to call LG. I am. Very disappointed a brand new machine costs more money than having two separate units and this is the way they do to customers. I feel the combo did not break down. This is a problem the unit has from the factory and they do not want to take responsibility for it. I am afraid the LG sent a mechanic home and there is nothing to fix on the unit there go ahead and try to repair it and make it worse. I pay the consequence by wasting my time and losing my money. I just want an exchange for a regular washer and dryer unit. I am very disappointed with both companies Lowe's and LG.

    Veterans get disrespected again, after Lowe’s sold their company to some other country's elite, they instantly took the 10% discount that saved my thousands of dollars while building my home and family, it was petty much the best most impactful long-standing benefit my honorable service in the Corps got outside of personal and mental growth. But it was removed from appliances and pretty much everything over five bucks, no saving on lumber anymore, nothing of real note.

    But fortunately, Home Depot still rewards and appreciates what our wonderful service members sacrifice to always answer the call. It doesn’t take much, replace your kitchen appliances 5 to 15 thousand on average easily, That’s 500-1500 dollars saved for something else your family needs. Yeah, it’s even easy for us Jar Heads to count real hard and see that driving a long way to purchase large items is always gonna be worth the savings. Delivery is a thing that’s easily set up also, thank you Home Depot for picking up the slack Lowe's selfish forging interest prioritizing garbage company left behind when they turned their backs on American vets and gave us the **.     Ordered a washing machine on 11/29 with a delivery date of 12/14. On 12/13 I received confirmation that it would be delivered on 12/14. The morning of I received an email saying I needed to reschedule. I called customer service, which said it would be a 30min wait. I waited for 1 hour and 45 min only to be transferred to a different department and then hung up on. I received a call telling me the new deliver date would be 12/28. Today, 12/27, I received notice that delivery will now be 01/17. I messaged the online chat and the rep told me there is nothing they can do. This is the most infuriating experience I have ever had to deal with to get an appliance delivered. If I do not hear back from them today, I will be canceling this order as soon as I can.

    I ordered a tool chest with wheels for a Christmas gift and yesterday when it was opened, they had sent me a completely different item so I called the 800 customer care number and they basically told me that I have to take the item back to the store myself. Get a refund and re-purchase the correct item! According to the website, there was only one left at the store so I called the manager at the store and he basically told me the same thing so I had to spend another $139 which some people may not have and I have to wait until Saturday morning for a truck to get this and to take the wrong item back!

    It was delivered so it should be picked up because it was not my mistake and the correct items should’ve been delivered to me today. It was available at the store and I should not have to be paying someone to have it delivered.! This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had, needless to say, we will not be purchasing anything at Lowe’s in the future!

    We purchased a range, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave and scheduled delivery and installation for 12/20. Due to this being a new build, we would not be ready prior. I received an email stating the microwave and dishwasher would be installed on the 13th. Went to the store, explained again that we scheduled for the 20th. Chica, same person we worked with originally had me speak to the installer. Again, I was assured everything was scheduled or the 20th-install and delivery. Today the microwave and dishwasher showed up but no frig or range. When I called to check I was told they would be delivered on the 24th. I know two different vendors do the installation and delivery so please don’t give me that excuse again.

    We have countertops ordered, another fiasco. After meeting with Tod, paying the deposit and being told we would get a call within 24 hours to schedule the appointment to measure or the template. Of coarse the call didn’t come, went back to the store and spoke with Tod. His answer was to give my husband the number and told him to call himself. Once my projects are done, I will never shop at Lowe’s again nor will I ever recommend them.

    I purchased a washer/dryer combo from Lowes. The delivery guys came and since the last washer dryer combo I purchased was installed incorrectly, I specifically asked the guys to be sure that the hoses were connected correctly so that the hot water selection would indeed be hot and the cold correct as well. They said to me, "Oh, no problem! We got it right!" Well, guess what? They did it again! Hot water is coming from the cold selection and vice versa..Since this has happened twice now, I certainly won't trust them again. Even if Lowes sales people do a good job, the delivery/installation people they use obviously don't know what they are doing! When I called to have it corrected a couple of months later because I had trusted that they did it right and just happened to touch the water and discover it was wrong, they refused to come out and remedy this!!!

    I purchased a new Samsung washer and dryer set a couple years ago. I paid for the extended warranty. When speaking with the guy that sold me the washer and dryer, I made sure to ask him that if there were to have a problem with the washer or dryer that the warranty would cover it and he said yes. I even asked if the unit is not repairable if we would get a new replaced and he also said yes to that. He LIED!! I just had my washer go out and had to deal with a subcontractor to come out to tell me that it doesn’t. The subcontractor then had to send his report to the insurance company (Assurant) even though I PAID Lowe’s for the warranty.

    4 weeks go by and not a dang thing has happened. I was the middle person dealing with the subcontractor company and the insurance company that Lowe’s goes through and it was a complete waste of time. The contractors have no contact with the insurance company Lowe’s goes through. I get an email today from the insurance that they refunded me for the cost of the washer. I paid for warranty on it….if it doesn’t work I have warranty to get it replaced since it was deemed nonrepairable.

    Sooo not only did I pay for an extended warranty that covered nothing on the washing machine since it wasn’t fixed or replaced with a new one, I had to go to Lowe’s to purchase a washing machine that is not the same as the original. Andddd I had to pay out of pocket to have it delivered, installed, and hauled away. All out of pocket. I asked the associate if my warranty rolls over for this washer since I still have extended warranty and he said No. Lowe’s in a complete joke. Do not buy their warranty. They just leave you in the dark and cannot solve anything.

    When you purchase an appliance pay attention when they say it has a year warranty from the manufacturer. Purchased a brand new Frigidaire fridge over $1200. Quit working after 3 weeks. Had to go thru manufacturer's warranty first until expires - a year - repairmen came, determined it was spewing a hazmat - freon from the filter. He will need to weld a part onto the new fridge to fix it but can't come until after christmas!

    Meanwhile this hazmat is all over!!! Lowe's will not replace it because it's been about 40 days instead of 30. In what universe is this acceptable? This was a gift for my daughter who has to keep insulin in her fridge! Insulin cartridges for shots! She lost all her food and meds! They could care less. I even called corporate. This is what you get for buying thru' them. I'd give a zero if I could. Had to go back thru fridgidaire to get someone to respond to hazmat threat itself! Will never buy another appliance thru lowes again! Pathetic!

Can't get orders straight..Lazy delivery people looking for excuses not to unload..Weird store to store relations for deliveries. All of my flooring has been torn up for over a week, due to their contractor stating I had wood floors, they ok'd the idea of bamboo hardwood. Contractors get here to lay the floor and due to me NOT having wood subfloor, now I'm getting charged to replace ALL the wood on my floor before my flooring can be laid. Their website showed one price for the wood but yet I was charged over 1.00 more a sheet than what they quoted me for the wood and claimed they were paying half of the wood and half of the labor due to their contractor screwing up. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!

    Bought a new fridge that worked for two days. Called the third day in the morning and was told I passed the two day window for returns and was told to call the manufacturer. Well it took Lowe's less than 10 seconds to take my money and I have a new refrigerator that does not work. It's been almost three weeks and a service tech from the manufacturer came today and said he could not fix it. Thanks Lowes for taking my money and doing nothing.     I would rate Lowe's installation services less than one star if possible. I had the misfortune of my water heater (purchased and installed by Lowe's) breaking down four years after purchase. Water heater was still under Manufacturer's Warranty and Manufacturer (O.A. Smith) honored the warranty. Was told by Lowe's that I had to bring the water heater in to their store for replacement. Quite a task for anyone to disconnect and bring it in the store. Alternative was to purchase a new water heater and receive store credit for the new purchase and have their installers return the defective product which I did.

    Lowe's contracted installers came to my home on November 6, 2024, disconnected the pressure valve without shutting off the water, water proceeded to flow until I showed the installer where the shut-off valve was located. Water heater was installed, however, the foam installation tubing was placed around the hot water tubing. A couple of hours following the installation I began smelling a burning plastic-like smell. I contacted the contracted company and was told they would dispatch their technician the next day. That evening the smell became stronger and I called the Fire Department. They believed the smell to be internal plastic material burning off and should dissipate.

    Next day, the installers came out and removed the tubing from the hot water coil which had visibly burned (I took photos of the burned tubing). I took the burned tubing to the Lowe's store in Stockton, CA., and was informed to contact Lowe's Installation Service for complaining of the provided services. I contacted the Installation Services and told them that I believe I should be granted some recompense (without providing a dollar amount) for the shoddy service and the angst that resulted from the burning insulation and possible damage to my home. I was assured that my complaint would be elevated for being resolved. Today, December 14, 2024, no contact has been forthcoming from the "elevated" staff for addressing my concern.

    Horrible customer service experience ordering an appliance from Lowes. I will never do this again. It has been rescheduled three times (their mistakes) and when you call the customer service to fix you get cut off or no one answers half the time. They give a 12 hour delivery window for a day a week out each time. You cannot work that day and then they call at the end because they won't make it. Then you have to schedule another week out. The last time I requested anytime before 2PM because I am leaving town for 10 days and of course I get confirmation the night before that they will arrive between 2:30-6:30PM. No one answered the phone when I called. What a mess. It will be over a month now and still no stove.

    Bought chain link gate in a box that was rough looking but it's all they had. Got it home. Missing pieces. Couldn't assemble without the parts that were missing. Took it back to the store with receipt in less than a week of purchasing. Was told they wouldn't take back open packages. Ask to speak to a manager. Lady said she was not a manager but was doing the job as one. She called I assume what was the store manager. Still no refund no store credit. Basically was told to go kick rocks. I told her I knew it wasn't her fault but they could just keep the gate. I won't be back. Canceled my order on the stove I bought the week before and was waiting on.     I had a bad experience at the Lowe's Home Improvement Store on 8150 Transit Road in Williamsville, NY. I was interested in a dishwasher and I asked the salesperson, "How long would it take to come in?" She told me, "About a week." That was on November 18th. This short time of the dishwasher arriving into the store influenced my purchase decision. Well, a week had passed and I called the appliance department to see if the appliance had arrived yet. This was on November 26, 2024. There was no answer in the appliance department, which forced me to go back to the store in person, which is about a 20-mile drive from my home. And I am a senior citizen, to boot.

    I went by foot to the appliance department that day, and of course no one was there. So I went to the Customer Service desk and asked for the Store Manager, telling him that I called the store appliance department and got no answer and I also walked into the appliance department after driving over, and no one was there. I asked him, "where is my dishwasher?" and he looked for it online and found it was on "tonight's truck." I was told that once it arrives in the store, it then has to be "scanned into the system."

    Long story short, it took 23 days from the day of purchase to the day of delivery and installation, when I was told the dishwasher would arrive "in about a week" when I ordered it. Why does it take 3 weeks to deliver and install a dishwasher? Do you tell people it will take "about a week" to get a dishwasher to just get the sale? And why aren't there employees supervising the appliance department all day, when a lot of people from all over town need appliances, which are essential items? I'm very disappointed in Lowe's and will never get an item that requires delivery and installation ever again!

    Lowe's 3rd party delivery service didn't remove the hardware under the refrigerator and it's dragging a screw in my mom's new floor. They won't come to get the screws out and just don't care. The delivery service was horrible to the point corporate had to speak to the store manager. Deal with Menards. You'll come out better.

    I visited store #2589 in Abingdon, MD on 12/9. I was visiting the store because I purchased installation of a microwave which wasn't able to get installed due to a missing bracket. During a conversation with customer care on 12/9, I was told for the first time that I needed to provide proof of purchase so I visited the store for assistance. Nicole, the supervisor in appliances, was very rude and did not want to help me. She yelled at me and walked away from me in the middle of us speaking. We had a screaming match in the middle of the aisles. She acted as if I was the issue. Vince, the assistant store manager, wasn't helpful either. He was unphased about my encounter with Nicole, lacked accountability and never apologized. I will never visit this store again. They misinformed me several times and did not honor what they originally approved.

    LG. Purchased a similar freezer on Black Friday and was provided a December 21, 2024 delivery date (needed no later than 12/24). Received a call from the delivery vendor (not even Lowe’s) on 12/4 advising me the delivery date was being pushed to early February 2025. I was transferred to a Lowe’s representative and advised the delivery date had been changed to 1/17/25 because the product was out of stock. Lowe's customer rep was condescending and rude, insisting I was to blame because I purchased the item at a discount. The rep hung up on me while I was waiting to speak to a supervisor, 25 minutes wasted. Another 40 plus minutes to be offered 10% off an LG comparable freezer that cost $270 more than list price ($324.90 more than purchase price). I believe this is called Bait-and-Switch. So disappointed in Lowe’s and they have lost this customer, not that they seem to care. Very underhanded and unethical business practices.

    In another display of unethical practices, Lowe’s has removed and/or hidden it. Funny, after five (5) attempts to post the same review in substantially the same form and substance, they just make it overly difficult to locate the item in question. Way to set a new LOWE’S form of business practice and avoidance of responsibility.

    Updated on 01/06/2025: DO NOT HIRE LOWE'S INSTALLATION SERVICES. I hired Lowe's Home Improvement Installation Services to install a bathroom floor tile. I was told the floor needed self-leveling and I paid extra for that. Then the installer forgot to do the self-leveling. I noticed that myself, the installer or Lowe's did not volunteer this information until later.

    Initially, Lowe's said everything had been done well. I placed a complaint with the PA attorney general. Then they appointed a customer representative and they are getting a third party to come and inspect the floor. They now acknowledged the leveling was not done. I paid for the service on 09/26/24 and today is 01/06/25 and my bathroom is still pending inspection and finalization, most likely it needs to be redone. More than 3 months my bathroom cannot be finalized pending what happens with the floor. The customer representative has said there is no timeline as to when the third party will do their inspection. Do yourself a favor and never hire these people.

    Original Review: I have had a horrendous experience with them. They charged me extra to do floor leveling and then ended up not leveling the floor in my bathroom at all. Then when they were supposed to come back/review what had happened and fix this in my house they gave me an appointment which was > 3 weeks after the original install day. This means my bathroom has been a mess for over a month now. When this date arrived (and even though I called them the day before and day of supposed inspection) they didn’t show up. I called Lowe’s and they said that was unacceptable but really nothing has been done.

    I spoke to a manager yesterday and they said they would be calling me back today and the manager never called. My bathroom is a mess because of Lowe’s. Please whatever you do do not trust them to do anything in your house. They will mess it up. They hire inexperienced workers that don’t speak English and with whom it is very hard to communicate and when there is a problem it never gets solved. I have told Lowe’s I want my money back and the only thing I can hope for is to have someone else redo everything from scratch. I am sad, frustrated, disappointed I spent >3000 usd on this and my bathroom is still a mess.

    I went into Lowe's to speak with an associate about having all of my windows replaced in my home. The one associate who was there on the phone finally finished his call, hung up and walked off and never returned. I asked another associate who was walking by and he called someone on the radio to help me but they never showed.     Lowes does not care about average customers. I have been doing business with Lowes for over 19 years as a homeowner. I just had them install carpet in my previous home in 2023. No issues. I moved in 2023 and purchased a $13K vinyl fence for my new home. I should have known better from the beginning. The process didn't start good. The delivery was the worst. They damaged my driveway. Tried to get that repaired. The installation company told me "It will dissipate over time" or we could give you $150-$200. So now, then the fence is installed. I had one pallet of quick drying cement LEFT OVER, and several feet of fence material LEFT OVER. The amount I over-paid for this waste was/is ridiculous. I asked about receiving a refund for the items not used/needed. Told me we can take them back, but no refund will be issued. Warning number 2. Now, we are into 2024.

    My warranty ended in October 2024. November 2024 - My fence is falling down. I started calling to speak with someone about coming out to assess the problem. Won't believe how many times I had to speak with someone. I was constantly told; you are outside of your warranty. We can send a consultant technician out at your expense. They will let you know how much it will cost you for them to repair the damage. So, I agreed. Someone was supposed to call me on Monday, December 2nd to pay and schedule the appointment. I then get an email on November 27th saying that the ticket was created for the consultant to come on Thursday, December 5th. Then on November 29th I received a cancellation notice.

    I called November 30th to discuss what is going on. Customer Service rep says no one sent you a ticket. We are not seeing it in our notes. I had to forward the messages. He still questioned it. December 2nd, 3rd came and went no call. Then on Wednesday, December 4th the rudest CS rep Francis called me to tell me that Lowes is going to do me a favor and cover the assessment cost of the Consultant Tech. This is outside of our policy to do this for you. But you will pay for the repairs. I say, Lowes does not care about their customers. A $13k fence should not be falling down after 13 months!! I am so hurt about this situation.

    Most of the online orders I make from Lowe's are good as I save 10 percent on the sales price with a military discount. However, the delivery always arrives late. Seems when I purchase the same item straight from the vendor it arrives on time or faster. Not sure if Lowe's saves on shipping or what the problem is? I tend to find the item on lowe's (other big boxes too) and order straight from the manufacturer. Just seems easier when I don’t need to call Lowe's and ask them to find my item.

    Do not purchase anything online from Lowe’s. They double authorize your charges and it ties up all of that money in your bank account for at least 3-5 business days - which is a week during the holidays. I tried to address this with the online chat... made no progress. Then I called and got the overseas call center... made no progress. I'm still trying to figure out how a Black Friday washing machine for $300 turned into $448. Haul off, hook up, and delivery cost half the price of the washing machine??? That plus the fact that military discounts don't apply to appliance purchases anymore. This is my last purchase ever from Lowes.

    I have ordered 12 Pella windows from Lowe's in Jun. 2024. One window has no skirt. Then lowe's asked to contact Pella. Pella said I have go though Lowe's. I have been waiting 2 month for the parts. Later on I found they send me a wrong one in Nov. Window skirt is just a plastic stick. But I can not install it without it. I check my email, I did send a correct info. Then I visited Lowe's for help. However, the Lowe's manager told me I have to re-order, waiting for another 2 month for the winter in Buffalo. He do not seems care and considerate, and he said he will give a plastic sheet cover the window. What is big joke. This stick is easily found and cheap. Neither Pella and Lowe's will help.

    This was the absolute worst customer service/insulation of an appliance ever. 1st washer/dryer had an error code ((meaning machine malfunction). Lowe's customer service said we need a new one. Second washer dryer arrived with massive dent and control panel pushed out. Packaged box crushed. Refuse shipment, then Lowe's sent third washer dryer and installation service. Said there was no water coming in our faucets. Lowe's customer service said we need to hire a plumber. So we hired a plumber and they came and said that the washer dryer was hooked up inaccurately as well as the dryer vents not secured which could cause a house fire. When we call Lowe's customer service for the third time they acted like we were crazy and inappropriate for calling to complain. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I called every day until 11/27 trying to reach out and I kept getting the runaround and no help. On top of the installers not doing their job the person I spoke with was rude and condescending.     Lowe's Service Pros came to measure twice and then abruptly cancelled the order. This was after we visited a location and picked out the flooring. Upon calling to follow-up and get a quote, Lowe's said they'd have to come out a third time since the order had been cancelled.     My family and I have been in our home for over 6 years now. Our family consists of myself, my husband, our sons and twin daughters. While we may not have a fancy home, it’s ours and we value it and take care of it to the best of our ability. Due to the age of it there have been appliances and other things that have had to be replaced and/or updated. The refrigerator, stove, microwave etc. The most recent of those items consisted of the garbage disposal and the dishwasher. The garbage disposal was replaced in February of this year due to it failing to work and overflow carrying over into the dishwasher. The garbage disposal was replaced, and everything appeared to have been working without a problem.

    We also went a step forward and replaced the dishwasher due to its age and performance and the overflow that had previously occurred prior to the garbage disposals replacement. It was installed by Lowe's installation company “Crume Installation” in May of this year 3 months after the garbage disposal was replaced. Prior to the appliances being replaced we had already moved items from under the sink such as extra bags and cleaning supplies and relocated them into the laundry room area. Which ultimately meant there was no longer a need for us to go under the sink anymore for anything. In October we noticed water on the floor in front of the kitchen sink, but it looked as if it was possibly water from where the kids completed their chores and left water on the floor so out of habit, we just cleaned it up. But it began to happen more and more and eventually resulted in us reaching out to restoration\repair company that specialized in potential water damage.

    After surveying the property and damage they informed us of massive amounts of water coming from under the sink and that had damaged the cabinets and flooring. It had also resulted in built-up moisture behind the cabinets and potentially the walls and arose concerns of mold. It was after this that we felt the need to file a claim with “Travelers” our insurance company, which was denied. According to their adjuster the cabinet area is an accessible area and we should have noticed what was going. We also reached out to the plumber and Lowes and their installation company whom all have denied liability for the damages. We’ve reached out to other plumbers to rectify the damage, but we have been informed that if they touch anything the warranty associated with the products and services will be rendered invalid by the other companies involved.

    We desperately need the damages fixed for the safety of our family and for us to get back to normal day to day activities. We have not been able to utilize our sink, nor the garbage disposal and we fear every single day that one of us could end up sick from the mold possibly lingering under the sink. We have considered selling our home to an investor but right now are looking towards taking legal actions as I am certain that this is happening to multiple families that pay for insurance and are denied claims when needed the most. I strongly urge others to avoid purchasing anything from Lowe's and/or DO NOT use them for installation services and DO NOT use Travelers as a mortgage insurance provider. If you don’t feel my situation is enough to avoid these companies, please do your diligence and read the reviews for each of them especially Crume Installations whom they have contracted with.

    I purchase a Midea refrigerator the end of September. Everything looked great when delivered. I then went and purchased a large amount of groceries as we just moved into a new home. That evening I went to get a bowl of ice cream and the ice cream was melted. This was on a Saturday evening so I called Lowe’s in the morning and they said that I would have to come back into store and purchase another one and then the new refrigerator would be delivered on that Monday.     Worse Lowe’s with the worse, male Manager, Dee at Customer Service. I am a senior and tried to return a brand new unopened power screwdriver with the receipt, but the manager, Dee with the pink shirt would not let me return it. He said they have a 90-day policy to return items but it did not say that anywhere on the receipt. The manager Dee pointed to the return policy that is posted up high on the wall on the way out from Returns. The sign is too hard to see, it is not where you pay. I told the manager I cannot see that and he smirked and said, “I can”. So he would not let me have my money back even though policy is not in the receipt, made no exception.

    The only nice person there was the ** male clerk, I’m not ** but he was the only one who treated me like a human being, but I could tell he did not have any power over, Dee. The female older lady just stared at me and made eyes at me when I was speaking to the manager. I was not treated fairly and their policy is a trick, because you cannot see the sign after you check yourself out, you don’t exit through the return desk. I was told by one of their clerks that was the right tool to put a chair together, but the chair came with an L wrench and I didn’t need it after all. With the way grocery prices are right now, we could have used the money back. Not fair to customers at this store.

    This month, (Nov 24) I purchased a new wall oven at a price of $2701. The oven was installed THREE days after delivery by a person of my choosing. The oven FAILS to reach the proper temperature. I notified the appliance department where purchased of this issue. There was no solution except to be told to use the Convection side to heat the oven. I contacted the local Customer Service Department supervisor. Both of the people that I contacted told me the following. NONE of which was told to me at the purchase time. Item 1: If you purchase the item using a Lowe's Card, a.k.a. Credit card, then Lowe's will send someone to fix the issue. I paid for the item cash via debit card. Item 2: The item may be returned but only within 48 hours after delivery. Note above when I had it installed.

    Item 3: If you purchase an extended warranty, (which is nothing more than an attempt at upselling you so that person can get a commission), at the time of purchase, then Lowe's will send someone to fix the issue. Item 4: If you use the installer that Lowe's recommends, then they will fix the issue. Another kickback scheme. All also said to contact the manufacturer. I did. They wanted $$ to come and look at the oven. If they found something, then they would fix it. If not, then there was the charge. So, I put my faith in someone from KitchenAid to look at an issue. Guaranteed that they will find nothing wrong so that KitchenAid does not have to pay someone to fix the issue. I then paid the charge as nothing will be found wrong. So, now I have a 3 week old brand new oven that does not work. Note that I was not told any of the items during purchase that would require Lowe's to fix the issue. All would have been some sort of upcharge.

    Whether it be interest on a Lowe's card, an up sale for an extended warranted, a kickback for using their recommended installer, or perhaps returning the item within 48 hours. Oh, and BTW, military folks who normally get a 10% discount on Lowe's purchases, no longer do for appliances. Another thing that Lowe's failed to communicate. I wonder if anyone would like a white turkey for Thanksgiving, as I can assure you that this oven will not brown the bird. My recommendation is, if you must purchase from Lowe's Hardware, please be mindful of the things above. I spend over $3000.00 at my local Lowe's this month alone. And, overall, I am a good customer. I purchased both a microwave oven from them and a dishwasher this year. Also, I contacted their Headquarters in Charlotte, NC and received the same Corporate line. I recommend that you save your money and shop elsewhere. I have made my last purchase with them.

    If I could give zero stars, that would be the most accurate rating. We bought a refrigerator from Lowes on September 2, 2024, the delivery was set out for 2 weeks out. We get a phone call the week of the delivery stating that our fridge is on back order and will be delivered November 17. We then get a call 3 weeks later that it would be delivered on November 29. We then get another call that it would not be until January 27. Meanwhile on their website they are showing deliveries of two weeks from the date of purchase. Their customer department is worthless, you call them and no resolution. Might as well just get AI and replace them all, I've had better customer service at Bojangles. In summary, they are definitely doing false advertisement. If anyone can refer a good attorney, I will be on the lookout. This is a great lawsuit, we have many screenshot of their promotions.

    I purchased a fridge, a dryer and a Samsung washer from Lowe’s in August. I didn’t notice the squeaking of the washer in the spin cycle until their technicians set it up unfortunately for me outside the 48 hour return window. So today 3 months and 20 phone calls and 8 repair technicians later and still no working washer, Karen, their operations manager, told me “there aren’t any exceptions” and it’s “not our fault” and I am “stuck” with the washer. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM LOWE’S.

    I purchased a side by side Frigidaire Refrigerator in February of this year. Within 60 days, one of the shelves broke. Within 4 months (into summer and high humidity) it was clear the doors weren't sealing tight and the condensation was on every shelf, accumulating water in the tray underneath the fridge causing leakage and causing my food to mold and spoil... and the ice and water panel was on the fritz. I did what I was supposed to and contacted Frigidaire due to the manufacturer's warranty and after multiple calls, emails, and even an eventual repair visit, nothing was done.

    The notes from the repair visit were for the wrong house so there never was follow up or repair (the door is faulty), Frigidaire can't find another repair company, and I'm left with a 9 month old refrigerator that won't keep my food cold. I asked Lowe's for help and they referred me back to Frigidaire (even with the explanation of what I've been through and forwarding of the email thread from Frigidaire). Lowe's apparently doesn't back the products they sell and doesn't care if their customers deal with this lack of support from the companies of the products they sell. Do not buy anything from Lowe's. This was the Saratoga Springs NY store.

    A vanity was purchased in October 2024 from Lowe's. I did not realize that it was damaged until I unwrapped it to have the contractor install it for me. Unfortunately, the contractor is standing in front of me. If he didn't install it today (now), I would have been out $300 for today and an additional $300 to have him come back and install it. I immediately took pictures (see attached) and phoned Lowe's customer service. I was transferred to their Pro Team. I am unable to obtain a full refund if I keep the damaged vanity. I was only offered a 10% discount, and they will not cover the shipping charges because the item was delivered (damaged, but it was delivered).

    I offered to send pictures, but they didn’t want to hear any of that. I asked to speak to the manager and the associate said she could only chat online with the manager, and that the manager would not be able to speak with me. And she said that if I insist on speaking with the manager, the manager will rescind the offer of a 10% refund! I was mortified when I heard that! I have never heard of such a thing! The manager would not even come to the phone to speak to me. Who does this! I am still baffled even as I am writing. And we even used a Lowe's gift card. I am so deflated right now, I can't believe this is how this issue was resolved.

    There were 3 salesmen in the appliance area in the afternoon of Nov. 20 and none of them could help me even though there was no other customer. One just said "I don't know. You can look online". Then offered to let me use the computer. What a smart alec! 3 useless people who had no reason to be there but to upset the customer who was ready to buy a stove.     I have been a loyal Lowe’s customer for years. I’m not in construction, therefore I’m not a big spender, but I do all of my home and most of my lawn care shopping there. Most of the sales associates are rude and worthless. I’ve found it’s pointless to ask for assistance, because they can provide none, but this is nothing new. They’re so bad, my husband truly loathes shopping there, so takes his business to Home Depot, and he spends a lot more than I do.

    The only reason I’m taking the time to even write a review is because of my experience in trying to exchange an item. I paid cash, didn’t think to keep my receipt, so they couldn’t verify my purchase by looking up my credit card transactions. Well, without a receipt, I have no proof that I made my purchase there, which I understand to a point. But I wasn’t asking for a refund, just a simple exchange; I mistakenly bought a stain in oak vs mahogany.

    They practically accused me of theft and refused to assist me. I’d forgotten that they’ve treated my daughter the same, and she works in law enforcement! And we live in a small area that hasn’t been victim to big city theft. I was just there to purchase furnace filters, and compared prices to Amazon. I could save quite a bit, buying from Amazon, but still gave them my business, trying to help out the brick and mortar stores. I might rethink supporting them in the future. It’s a pretty sad state we’re living in these days.

    Purchased 2 American Standard toilets and had a plumber install one. It was horrible. Brought the 2nd one back and purchased 2 Kohler toilets. Told them plumber will return in 2 weeks and returning that one. All we did was flushed toilet paper and not personally used. It doesn’t flush the paper unless it is dropped directly into the water.

    Was called back by David ** the store manager in Tarpon Springs FL. He told me that I cannot return the 2nd one. He asked how much we pd and advised $202.29 for it and he offered me $25.00 dollars and to dispose of it. My husband is a Lowe’s card holder and military. We have made very large purchases within the last 2 months. This is insulting and when I didn’t agree to his offer he hung up. He is a terrible manager to just hang up when the conversation didn’t go well. My husband is 75 and I’m 73. Will be doing the rest of my purchases at Home Depot, they actually help their customers and always available to help and explain.

    I would like to tell those my favorite story about you. You always keep older plants that are perennials and allow true gardeners to buy them and you don't throw them away like home Depot does and I want you to know that it is one of the ways I afforded a lot of food because I could buy the plants that were a little bit beaten up but I could still make it work, lots of fertilizer, lots of love and I was able to have plants when I really couldn't afford it.     I ordered a Pella sliding door on October 16 with the promise that it would be delivered within 28 days. When I had heard nothing for 33 days, I went online to Lowe's Check Order Status. Unexpectedly, my order could not be located, by order # or phone #. I then went to the Lowe's store and inquired at Customer Service. The order could not be found in Lowe's records either. After a few different managers investigated, I was told that the door "had been ordered" despite no record of that and that it would be delivered within a week. No guarantee or proof was offered. When I requested a refund instead, I was told that my credit card had not yet been charged. In spite of showing my receipt, I had to return home to print out my credit card purchase documentation and return to the store to be very reluctantly given a refund. BEWARE of placing a special order at Lowe's.

    Have been trying to get two doors installed for few months now, been getting the run around by incompetent people, the person who came to measure selected wrong swing of door, have taken two days off of work so far for alleged Install, been to Lowes store many times dealing with a person who needs a new profession, no updates from lowes, 1st time cancel hour before get here, 2nd time wrong door, 3rd time no answers. On top of add on costs for things that don't even need to be done such as removing siding, just salesman trying to get commission for fake add ons.     Unsatisfied. Traumatic first time large home purchase to update home. First off be aware you're not dealing with just one company. Lowe's is just the salesman. Installation is a different company. The windows are made by a different company. The customer support team is like 4 different departments and their computer systems does not coordinate with one another. Every call is a new and separate report. One hand has no idea what the other hand is doing. Everyone is remorseful and clueless. Empathy is their moto. But you still have to do the footwork to get to the right department to get your resolutions.

    Once installed Lowes basically takes no action or accountability for anything. But their main sales pitch is that they are point of contact and will be by your side every step of the way. Moral of story: you get what you pay for. Not looking for the day I need help to replace a window on the lifetime transferable warranty. (That was a selling point I definitely took into consideration.) But after it took 1 year to get every window replaced I can only imagine the trouble I'll go through I the future.

    Not well insulated, I have gnat bugs on the inside, window seal and curtains that are coming through tiny holes of the plastic frame. My Lowe's representative has change multiple of times and now don't even follow up or respond. It's crazy. I think I was very patient and compassionate through the whole process, to just be left in the dirt like this is hurtful.

    I placed an order for a door on September 23rd at the west Orlando Lowe’s at 8700 Colonial Drive. The door was expected to be in in one week. After several delays with no explanation for the delay I still don’t have the door on November 14th. It is now holding up the entire project. I have called the store six times with no results. Most of the time no one answers the phone. When they do answer they don’t know when the door will be delivered. They have sent several emails saying there is a delay and will I accept the delay. When I hit the accept button it says there is an error in their system, they can’t accept my acceptance and I’ll have to call. When I call they don't know when the door will be delivered. Worst customer service ever.

    I decided to purchase a new wall oven from my local Lowe's store in Severn, MD. The sales associate, John, was very helpful and friendly. That is about the only good thing I can say about my experience so far. I ordered the oven and they told me that it would take a week or so to come in. Nope, it was nearly 2 weeks and THEN when the installers went to pick up the unit (Lowe's railroads you into using their installers), it wasn't there. Now keep in mind, if I had ordered the unit without the installation, the website told me that I could expect delivery THE NEXT DAY.

    When we called to find out what was up, someone told us that it looked like the oven was in stock at the store, but then she never called us back to follow up. It is now 4 days after the oven was supposed to be installed and I still don't have an oven, or information or even the courtesy of a phone call. Additionally, when I attempt to call the store, no one in appliances ever answers the phone. Maybe they don't realize that I have other choices to spend too much money on a new appliance?

    Bought a large washing machine from Lowe's online in Louisiana. My receipt said one store, the ship from address was another location and came out of a 3rd party shipper warehouse, per delivery people and customer service. This thing was LOADED with Mice!! I caught 3 and 1 is eating poison somewhere behind or under the refrigerator. This is a new home and has absolutely no holes anywhere!! I was going to purchase a dryer shortly after the washer yet now; I don't want to hear the name Lowe's!!! They are coming to pick it up for a refund. They should bring need more traps, extermination and some sort of compensation for going through this horrific nightmare. My HVAC unit can't come on for me jumping out my skin!!     Ordered and had a screen door installed just over two years ago - no issues. Since then, they apparently have partnered with a new installation sub-contractor, “Integrity First Installations, LLC”. This company is terrible. The person who initially measured our door failed to send in measurements to the store for over a week. Lowe’s finally dispatched another person who then no-showed on the confirmed installation date. Lowe’s refuses to take responsibility for their sub-contractor or resolve the issue. I’ve been dealing with this for over a month now.

    I had gone to Lowes to buy a new tub and surround. I was told by a sales person that Rebath would install lowes product. So I had Rebath quote me a price. It was then that I learned rebath does not install lowes product. I was pissed. Why does lowes even team up with rebath?     We had wood floors installed, not only did they upcharge us staying they needed to level our floor with cement, but they made the floor too high and now they can’t put our doors back on because they’re too “tall”. They stated we would need to hire someone to have our doors cut. The installers also cut our carpet too short on the stairs leaving a gap between the hardwood floor and the carpet. The carpet is hanging out and shedding all over due to being cut wrong. I will never be using Lowe’s again and I HIGHLY suggest you look elsewhere. Our installers didn’t speak any English either. This whole process was so stressful, and we spent about $5,000 for this to be done. I can’t stress how disappointed I am.

    I went to Lowe's to return vinyl siding corners. In a rude fashion I was told could not return because it was over 90 days even though they quickly found it by credit card. No one tells you about the 90-day policy when you buy it only that it can be returned with receipt or looking it up by purchase. No other helpful offers like store credit etc; just a blunt statement of over 90 days.

    Went to same STORE approximately 2 weeks later to return vinyl siding. They could not find where I had purchased it on the same credit card I used before. Turned in 2 other items on the same credit card (that same night) but they said they couldn't find the vinyl siding charge. Had to reload truck, go home and get receipt. During each of these events was told if I had a Lowe's card wouldn't have these problems. Thanks for horrendous service. Will not need Lowe's card because I will not be shopping there. I am sure you get many of these daily.

    Lowe’s store employees are fantastic! Lowe’s Installation Center has been a nightmare. Screwed everything up from beginning to end. Didn’t return calls, broke every promise made. Did not communicate with me or the actual installer and wouldn’t allow me to call them directly. I called anyway and they wouldn’t do anything without a work order from Lowe’s and the work orders were always wrong. Spent well over $2000 to fix things they broke or threw away including paying my own plumber and electrician to finish work they didn’t do. The job isn’t finished but I gave up and requested compensation that was promised for months. After 8 months of this miserable project I submitted a 23 page request with pictures and receipts and they offered to take $600 off my $19,000 kitchen. I keep calling them and the poor people that answer the phone keep promising that someone will call me back but no one ever does.

A date and time was assigned without securing a tech or contacting me to see if I was available. I waited all day only to get a text at the end of My appt timeframe that a tech had not been identified and rescheduled me two days later without even checking my availability. My new appointment time was changed 3 times, totally irregardless of my time. Appt Message sent indicated a 48 hour cancellation policy regardless of my ability to accept their provided appointment.     Lowe’s push to sell their Lowes protection plan with every electrical product sold. The company they use is called Assurant…. Who have 1222 reviews and an average of only 2.2. I wonder whether anyone at Lowe’s bothers to check the companies out that they associate with or is it all about the money as opposed to the consumer.

    And why do I know all of this.... because I took one of their protection policies on a washing machine and after over a month and two trips from their appointed clueless plumber we still do not have a working washing machine and now it will be another 2 weeks as that’s how long they say it takes to get parts… Interesting fact that as I asked what part he needed and after he left I found it on Amazon Prime for next day delivery… Get your act together and stop upwelling useless policies

    I ordered a vacuum through Lowe’s online. They shipped it to the wrong address. When I informed them of it, they sent it anyway. When I spoke with them through text chat, I was told that they would ship another one to me. Before I could give them the correct address, they shipped it to the wrong address AGAIN! I called immediately (30 seconds after) and told them it was wrong. They shipped it anyway. I was told I wouldn’t be charged for the vacuums. When I saw the charge on my card, they said that the other person gave me bad information and that I wouldn’t be charged. Edit that! It was all me calling them, they never called back no matter how many times they said they would.     Beware- Lowe's Protection Plan. Against my better judgment, we purchased the Lowes Protection Plan with my 2024 Samsung Refrigerator. Was given the pamphlet and told that we would make our money back in filters alone and that it was so simple--just buy the filters and get back up to 100.00 per year!. Purchased 2 filters but guess what? --all kinds of hoops to jump through. Lowes (Riverview Fl) cannot help and will not refund. They gave me the same number on the pamphlet and instructed me to call them back. The number for service (Assurant) cannot help--was transferred multiple times and now I'm being told I have to first contact Samsung. Do not purchase this protection plan. They hope that you give up and will pocket your money. Not happy with Lowes, the protection plan, the Riverview Fl store or the management.

The problem is that Lowe's installers deliver the refrigerator, unpack it, plug it in, ask for a large glass or mug to flush the water line as directed in the owner's manual. I gave them a large sports mug. Without any experience with the refrigerator the owner (me) wouldn't know. I didn't watch what the installer did after handing him the mug, but I did see him pour about a third of a mug full of murky water into the sink AND THEY LEFT! This was at approximately 5:30 pm on a Friday. It wasn't until Saturday morning that I attempted to get a glass of water via the auto door dispenser that I saw a message ("Dispenser off". Change the water filter.) The installer had to have seen the message and chose to ignore it.

    I went to local Lowe's and was informed that I needed to report the problem and only had 48 hours to do so. Long story made short; On Sunday morning I decided that I would purchase another filter and try it. I had to use a small wrench to turn the installed filter about 1/8 CCW in order to get it the installed filter out. See the attached photo. Apparently some substance (gummy like, glue maybe) had gotten onto the end of the filter preventing it from sealing properly. Whatever this substance was had run down the back corner of the refrigerator as shown in the photo. After cleaning out the filter connector area I installed the new filter and the refrigerator began working just fine. I had downloaded and read the Owner's Manual by this time and ran several large mugs of water as directed prior to actually using dispensed water.

    Lowe's in Santa Fe review. I purchased a fridge and flooring. These are the only good parts of my visit to this store. We were looking at the refrigerators and asked one of the workers for help. He asked which one we wanted and he would check and see if they had it in stock. So we're waiting and then we noticed him helping another couple. We waited about 30 min. before he got back to helping us. Next we had to pay for the flooring and wait for the worker to bring the refrigerator to the front. We waited another 20 min. then I went inside to see where my fridge was. The customer service worker paged the appliance dept. twice with no answer. He went to the back to look for the worker. Finally we got an answer about 30 min. later. An hour wait in total. You would think that would be the end of the horrible day but no! We got hone and unwrapped the fridge and found dents on the doors of our "brand new" refrigerator. I would not recommend this store to anyone!!!

    I ordered a pit boss grill online and requested assembly and delivery. The delivery was delayed 3 weeks because the assembler did not show up at the store every week as scheduled. When the grill was delivered it was missing two screws attaching the legs to the grill barrel and all of them were extremely loose on the other legs. I am totally and completely dissatisfied with the whole experience!

    Do NOT buy a custom order, laminate countertop from Lowe’s. The quality is very poor. It came with laminate not glued in many spots, a tacky glue on the laminate surface. 2 side strips delaminated in the first 2 weeks. A chip in the laminate. 2 mitered corners that were joined unevenly. 2 missing clamps under the countertop. There’s more problems, but you get the point. The Lowe’s employee that I ordered it with was bumbling through the process, was annoyed when I made a change. Not a fan! There’s 4 or 5 companies that you deal with, not just Lowe’s. That was an experience. The complaint process took more than 6 months. I talked with and emailed many different people, departments and companies. DO NOT buy this product from Lowe’s.

    Bought Whirpool washer in May 2024. It was installed by Lowe's. Few months later started getting problems. The washer is shaking and cannot complete the cycle even with 1 towel. Few months later, it started to leak from the drain hose. Got Whirpool tech, still under 1 year warranty. The technician said the washer was not installed correctly, Lowe's needs to fix it. Not Whirpool problem. Called Lowe's few times local stores and headquarters and still cannot get them to redo installation. Lowe's said 48 hours window to redo installation after it is installed. But the product broke few months later because of their wrong installation. I used to be a loyal Lowe's customer, never again will use them again. I stuck with expensive washer which does not work and damages my floor.

    I spend thousands of dollars at Lowe's, service is spotty but up till today not terrible. Live in Sarasota and the hurricane destroyed several appliances. On 10/23 I order a new dishwasher, not an inexpensive one at that. After waiting a week for the installation, when the time came, no show. No one called from Lowe's to tell me there was an issue. I called the installation company, they stated that the installer went to the store to pick it up and it was not there. They informed Lowe's, who neglected to call me. I called them, after waiting on hold I finally spoke to customer service, they were unable to explain why I was not contacted and that they told the installer to the wrong store to pick up the dishwasher. No communication. Just meaningless apologies.

    Even though they have a 2 day policy for missed deliveries they are now telling me they can't deliver the item for 7 days from today. My advice to you is to do business with a local retailer, not a big box store that cares little for their customers. If you look at the reviews of Lowe's you will see that this is a common issue with Lowe's and they have very low satisfaction reviews.

    Placed an order online on Sunday. Went Monday to pick up, Lady behind the counter said it could take up to 3 days to process. I get an email today saying they were out of stock!     I always shop at Lowe's and I am refurbishing my apartment. Today I returned 3 tiles, yes, just 3. I had purchased them to make sure they fit with the current setting, but they did not so I returned them. I had no receipt but usually have the credit card on hand which I used, but today I did not. The cashier still processed my return but made sure I knew he is doing me a favor since the policy has changed and I do appreciate that. But the barcode on the tiles was and is a Lowe's barcode.

    I knew it was a minimal amount but before throwing the tiles out I had decided on the return since I always shop at Lowe's, I buy my appliances there and purchased 9 kitchen cabinets there. And it is the place where I spend my money for home improvements, but after the employee laughed at me for returning such a minimal item, again just 3 tiles, I am rethinking who I will give my business to. It was poor customer service for making me feel not valued and even being laughed at. Money is money and customer service should not depend on how much I spend with the company.     Ordered a chest freezer. Needed help moving it so didn’t open it for a week. Open it up and there’s a big dent. Also, they have it in sale for $200 off. They wouldn’t honor either.     I spent over $1,000 and purchased a portable generator on October 8th. I brought it home. It took 41 minutes talking with the representative from the company to get it going. I let it run and assume that it would start up immediately upon its use after hurricane Milton had left. On the morning of October 10th with less than 48 hours from the time I purchased it I tried it again. Ended up talking with another representative. It did not start. I was told to take it back to the store. The store was not open until 2:00 p.m. because of the hurricane. They refused to take it back because they said it was out of the box.

    I filed a complaint with them and then was received an email stating they didn't return it because it was after the 48 hours. I am Pro customer. I've done tens of thousands of dollars of business with them but never again. Not one more Penny will they ever get from. This was a FIrman WH0 3562OF. Generator. The representative from Firman told me they were receiving a lot of calls on this generator and that hit they had been sent out without being tested because of the emergency of the hurricane. Neither company is reputable in my opinion.

    We have been frequent Lowe's customers for years and have bought many appliances there. NEVER AGAIN! We bought an induction range and two years after it was installed, it nearly caused a catastrophic house fire. Lowe's had wired it incorrectly and the wires melted down and thankfully it was extinguished quickly. We have photos and we hired a contractor to fix it and they stated it was definitely wired incorrectly. Lowe's refused to take any responsibility and would not provide any compensation for the cost to repair their mistake. What a horrible business model!

    I report that after the installation there is a leak behind the wall this time. Even worse after I reported DRF company, they said they never accepted their false installation and tried to charge us another inspection of their own technical problem. We never experienced this kind of irresponsible subcontractor. I may need to inspect with other plumber to repair their leakages. Moreover the installers they sent us were nice guys but their works were very rough and did not even shut off the gas valve to install the new gas valve. We will report this irresponsible installation service to the city authorities. We keep this record and make a proper action against the costs that we have to spend for the damage they made.     My wife and I hired LOWE'S as a contractor for removal and installation of new counter tops and backsplash. LOWE'S forces consumers to pay for everything in advance, before they will schedule your job. Total charges for removal of counter tops and removal of backsplash 1650.00. The LOWE'S contractor demo and granite installer, broke the electric box's during the demo. These outlets were on the backsplash that was removed. These installers made a large mistake after completion of counter tops. They didn't cut sink correctly and had to redo this 4 days later. After this mistake we had to reschedule the tile backsplash installer.

    On 09/16/2024, tile backsplash contractor discovered the broken electric box's at 3 outlets. We attempted to call local Lowe's Palestine TX. Scott **, the manager he would not return calls. So I reported to BBB. The next person that called me was Executive Customer Relations Jeff **. Communicating with Jeff ** was a total waste of my time. It's evident he just is someone whom delays consumers. Jeff asked for pics of outlets electric box's that were broken. I provided those for him. During my conversations with Jeff, he was not helpful! All he did was delay.

    First he wanted me to perform these repairs. Secondly he wanted me to have 3 electricians come give bids. I suggested his store mgr at Palestine Tx. arrange to send three electricians to my home or send electrician over to repairs. LOWE'S seems to think consumers work for them. This is amusing because LOWE'S contract we signed states clearly, if the consumer hires a contractor or attempts to repair items LOWE'S WILL NO LONGER BE RESPONSIBLE! Although I attempted to work with LOWE'S, no realistic solution was offered by Lowe's. This was all a delay tactic. Mr. ** considers this closed. We as consumers do not consider this closed!

    I give Lowe’s delivery one star because the service was terrible. I bought a washer on Aug 11, 2024 the delivery was to be Aug 15. I received an email saying it was delivered. When I returned home it wasn’t delivered. My husband waited all day for them. We went to the store and found out they wouldn’t go down the driveway. I canceled the order and asked for a refund. That was Aug 15, 2024. I still haven’t received my refund.

    I have used Lowe's in the past for home improvement and have never had a problem until now. We ordered a generator to be installed. A subcontractor was hired by Lowe's. Came out and took measurement. Heard nothing for weeks, crickets. I had to provide a survey for the permits, fortunately I had one or I would have had to pay for another. Come out. Measure again, good to go or so I thought. They came a third time. Told me they were changing it from one side of the house to the other. Mind you, I'm not in possession of the unit yet. Get a $630 change order charge because of the changed which included erasing the box penciled in on the piece of paper to draw the box on the other side of the piece of paper. Obviously I didn't sign. I had to contact corporate to get the charge removed. They dropped off the useless generator in my yard for September 24, 2024 installation before hurricane Helene, it's still here.

    Then they told me the installation couldn't happen until the gas permit was filed. I was hoping their gas people would hurry up since a storm was coming. The next day I was told I had to provide the gas and if a permit wasn't already filed installation would not occur. Get quotes from two different companies of $5,000 for the gas and at least a 4-8 week process for the permits which now puts us out after hurricane season. There were issues with the gas set up as well and at this point I threw my hands up and said we were done.

    Now that the project isn't happening, they are charging me a $1300 restock fee. None of the issues with this project were because of me. The lack of communication and direction is mind blowing. I have worked with Lowe's in the past and have never had any issues until now. This has been months on end and I'm still losing money due to the incompetence. I would tell everyone to use Lowe's for home improvement but now, they have lost a valuable long term customer and credit card holder. Let's hope Home Depot can do better. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANY HOME PROJECTS!!!!

    I ordered new carpet and installation for my stairs online. The process was so easy and I was informed every step of the way from the measurement to installation. Jag Floor Covering LLC was the company who installed the carpeting. When Brian from Jag arrived, he showed me the carpet and padding to be sure that it was what I ordered. He then took about 10 minutes to explain every detail of what they would be doing and asked me if I had any special requests on how I wanted the stairs covered. The job was completed in about 2 hours which included clean up. The team was very courteous in taking off their shoes before entering my home as well.     Bought a refrigerator, washing machine and dryer. Delivery and installation was in Sept. 13, today we are still waiting for the fridge to work. No ice, no freeze and the inside temp. on the refrigerator will not reach 50 degrees. Milk, ice cream and meats damaged. Went to Lowe's where I bought the appliances there of Sept.

    manager was not available and the attendant in the appliance department. Told us to LEAVE THE AREA, THAT IT WAS A SALES AREA NOT A COMPLAINTS ONE.     I'd like to start by saying I dropped the ball. My wife made a purchase in 2021. A fridge, stove, and dishwasher. She selected installation for all 3 on the app. They bought all on a truck as is, no protective packaging, and installed all but the dishwasher. She asked them why and they said she needed to get a plumber to do it. She emailed and called Lowe's several times to no avail. The last convo she had directed her to someone outside of Lowe's and they told her they would email her and everything would be resolved. I didn't stay on top of my wife to make sure she was on top of them. We argued over much that year and forgot all about it. 2024 now and we need a new vanity so back to Lowe's I went, in person this time. I purchased the vanity and the install for the dishwasher to which they apologized for our experience.

    The installers came and asked why the dishwasher wasn't in a box. I told them it came that way off the truck. They said that should've never happened. After further inspection, they decided they couldn't install the dishwasher because it was damaged on the inside. Damage we clearly couldn't have done to it. We couldn't return or exchange because we were outside of our window. We're simply out of 500 bucks.

    I purchased a Kitchenaid dishwasher from Lowe's in Howell NJ USA on 10/3/24. It was delivered that Friday, 10/4/20, because it was Friday I could not have it installed until the following week by a plumber. Completing the installation there was a problem with the unit and after calling Lowe's who blew me off stating I needed to contact Kitchenaid because they did not know squat about the dishwasher, (What a surprise).

    Calling Kitchenaid and after several attempts to resolve the issue a service call was needed. Fast forward to today, 10/10/24 a serviceman arrive and determined a major pump was defective and needed replacement. Calling Lowe's, they advised me that they have a 2-day return policy and said tough luck, I was past the 2 days even though it was delivered Friday, they did not care. If I could have left a zero star I would have. Stay away from Lowe's.

    I paid Lowe's about $12000 for kitchen cabinets and installing here in Anchorage (Muldoon store) Alaska. My online assistant quoted me an $11000 project. I also had to pay for a countertop that cost $5000 more on top of the 12gs. Lowe's associate did not communicate with me or the countertop letting them know my order was here. The countertop contractors are stating they won't be able to get to my cabinets until a couple weeks. I tried to pay my outstanding balance on the tops but Lowe's wouldn't let me. They stated the system was locked and can't make any other payments than the $1700 I first paid as a 30% down payment. I tried to pay $1500 that day and today I also was trying to make a $500 payment.

    Based on all the reviews I read about Lowe's and customer service displayed right before me as I asked for a Mgr who spoke with Rich first then came to me with a disrespectful attitude like accusing me of getting loud with her when trying to explain my point that Rich did not contact these people after telling me he would. I don't have to contact them he stated. The countertop people said he never made contact. I then ask to speak to the store Mgr since I sense some hostility with this mgr. She said she was the only Mgr here and she is in charge. I finally went to customer service where I requested the store Mgr. Another lady walked past me and went to speak to the rude Mgr who followed me to customer service but was hiding from behind an aisle.

    After explaining to the Mgr from customer service about the work that Rich had not done I also stated I wanted someone else in the store to help me chose cheaper countertops. I asked if I can even do it at another store. Unfortunately this lady was mocking me right in front of my girlfriend stating stuff like, "You just wanted to get this and that done" in a very sarcastic way. I should have went to Home Depot. I hope anyone reading this and all of Lowe's reviews mainly stating how rude these people and do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot.

    Frankly LOWE'S GETS A ZERO!! This will be lengthy… On July 15,2024 (less than three months ago) I purchased an electric power washer from the Lowe's in Edmond on Kelly along with a three year extended warranty thinking the power washer would be covered if it stopped working…which it did after only about 2-3 uses.. I take it back to Lowe's with my receipt only to be told they won’t refund my money or exchange it!!! So I ask to speak to a manager and am told that warranties are only good for two days on most things and there isn’t any at all on some things!!! Mind you I had purchased an extended warranty for just in case... In good faith, so I’m told I have to call the phone number to GREEN WORKS which I do, and am told to take the power washer back home and call them back and troubleshoot the unit with them over the phone!!!!

    Then after all of this rigmarole, I’m supposed to take a picture of the gauge on my pressure tank and send it to them and they can’t or won’t do anything to resolve my problem until I do… I’ve also been told not to use an extension cord with this until and not one over 25’ and that my pressure tank has to have a psi of at least 40!!! All this goes to show is that Lowe's is keenly aware that their products are inferior at best being that most things come from CHINA, and that they are not going to stand behind anything whatsoever!!! After all of this, I will never ever buy anything that costs very much at Lowe's because frankly you’re in a crap shoot!!     To give you a little background, I am a 100% disabled veteran and was medically discharged from the Army after nine years of service as a result of multiple combat injuries from my time in Iraq. My wife and I just closed on our first home last Friday under a VA home loan, which was a new build two-story home in a new development. My wife and I went shopping for our washer and dryer the same day after closing and decided to take our business to Lowe’s.

    I would first like to start that our sales associate at Lowe’s did a phenomenal job with assisting us, answering any questions we had, and setting up a quick home delivery. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and provided superb customer service. From there, our experience with Lowe’s took a complete nosedive. Our delivery team showed up the next day as expected. When they arrived, they broke off an irrigation sprinkler head at the underground PVC pipe when trying to get the washing machine in because they didn’t exercise caution when navigating the walkway. When I confronted them with the damage, the delivery team ignored me and the damage. The delivery team continued with the delivery and installation of the washer and dryer.

    Before they left, I checked on the installation of the washing machine and found that they had completely broken the washing machine overflow pan and the overflow drainage pipe, likely due to carelessness and manhandling the tray and connection when they were installing the washing machine. There was also water leaking all over the washroom floor, which is located on a second story, and the hot and cold water hookups were actively leaking. When I confronted the delivery team with the damage, one of the members told me that it was already damaged like that when they arrived.

    I know this to be a lie, as I am a building inspector and this is a new build and we also just recently had more than four walkthroughs prior to inspect for any damage and my wife and I were at the home the day after closing to clean. After his repeated denials and lies, the team member then said that pushing the washing machine back to the wall would fix the problem. I knew at this point that I wasn’t going to get anywhere with the delivery team and I needed to contact Lowe’s to file a claim for damages. When I asked the delivery team to leave, one team member refused to leave the home. I asked him three times to leave our home.

    After the third time asking him to leave, he tried to push past me where I was standing in the washroom to take pictures of the damage. I then pointed to the stairs and told him again to leave our home. After a moment of staring me down, he finally left. The delivery team however did not leave, they stayed parked at the end of our driveway while one of the team members stood outside my doorway on the porch. One of the team members then called the local police to file a complaint. When the police arrived, they had to repeatedly order the delivery team to get off the property and stay off the property.

    The police told the team members that there was no wrongdoing on my part, as they not only caused the damage, but that it is within my rights to request they leave my home and should have left the first time they were told to leave. The delivery team then tried making it a race issue between ** and ** or **. The police officers advised them of the same. What the delivery team didn’t realize is that my wife is **. When she arrived home from work, the delivery team also got into my wife’s face in front of the police and confronted her. After some discussions with the police, the delivery team finally left. The police advised my wife and I that there was no wrongdoing on our part and to follow up Lowe’s for the damages and file a claim.

    This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had with any company, to have multiple damages to a new property due to negligence and carelessness, the blatant disregard and disrespect, the anxiety and humiliation of the police coming to your home the day after closing in front of the entire neighborhood, and then having to now find quotes from a plumber to fix the plumbing damages so our home doesn’t flood or succumb to damage from moisture/water intrusion. Lowe’s really needs to do a better job with their customers, the hiring of their delivery teams, and they need to go above and beyond to right this wrong. Lowe’s definitely disappointed and fell below the bar on this one as a result of our delivery experience.

    I wish I could give ZERO stars for my experience and the entire process. I could write a novel about all of the issues. It took 7 months for a door installation through Lowe's. 2 doors that were sent were damaged and then Lowe's lost the 3rd door and that's just the beginning. All I can say is Lowe's has no business in installing anything. DO NOT USE THEM. The level of incompetence was mind blowing. And, there is no one to speak to who actually could do something. I wish I would have read the previous reviews before I contact Lowe's. I would have been forewarned.

    I bought a Gennie Model 7055 Garage Door Opener from Lowe's in January of 2021. I also bought the Lowe's Protection Plan. Approximately 2.5 years after purchase the door opener stopped working. The door opener is still covered under the manufacturer's warranty. However, Gennie will not repair/replace it without the receipt. I did not keep good records. I do not have the receipt. Lowe's, while they can information regarding the Protection Plan and Installation, cannot find the receipt. Without the receipt Gennie will not help. I've tried to file a claim under my Lowe's Protection Plan. Lowe's will not help me until the manufacturer's warranty has run out - 5 years from purchase date. I'll have to wait another 2.5 years before Lowe's will help. Therefore, I have a product covered under two separate warranties and neither company will honor it. The Lowe's Protection Plan is a waste of your money and resources.

    On September 9, 2024 I ordered approximately a thousand and something dollars worth of trex from Lowe’s in Rome NY and had it delivered. Somehow a couple of pieces didn’t get delivered so I went to Lowe’s and ordered the 2 pieces I needed and waited for a week and a half to have it delivered. They said it would be delivered on Friday so I waited all day Friday for the truck which never showed and no phone call. So I called and they said it would not be delivered until Sat. So again I waited for the truck to which no avail, the truck did not show up so again no call to say, "We are not coming." I had to call at which time the manager told me that the driver could not drive anymore because of Nys rules and that the driver didn’t get a lunch break, well ok Nys but a lunch break after I spent thousands of dollars I’m sorry.

    So no delivery again. That’s three days no delivery and on Sunday when it did show up Ron the delivery driver took it off the truck and carried it to my house, put it on the pile and walked away. I said that, "I’m said something to your boss," and he stated ”there is nothing we can do”. I told Ron thank you and and have a good day at which he he kept walking and did not respond. Thanks Ron for the attitude and thank Lowe’s for nothing. That will be my last at Lowe’s in Rome and maybe even Lowe’s. Maybe Home Depot has better customer service.

    We had this deck built by Lowes 10 years ago and this is what we have now, please look at the pics. Lowes will do nothing to help. We had to pay 2500 dollars to get it repaired. The men who did the work said the wood they used does not even look like pressure treated wood. Do not shop at lowes, unless you want garbage. It makes me click a star to submit this review.     I've been harassed by Lowe's Pro card provided service for the last two months. I disputed a clearly fraudulent charge in mid-July (charge was at a store in Indiana-- I live near Seattle). I asked to be taken off their calling list while the charges were being disputed. No change. 2-3 calls a day for collection services. Then I called back today (9/26) and they told me the dispute claim I opened in mid-July was closed. Their explanations were a jumbled mess-- first they said, that I had agreed to close it and work directly with the merchant, then they said it had been cancelled, then they said the person who took it was in training. Wasted 30 minutes on the phone each time I called. I've asked for the claim dispute and process in writing. Was told the same thing as last time-- 7-10 business days. Still nothing in the mail. I've closed my account and will no longer use this service.

    Lowe's in Oneonta, NY. We just bought a very expensive washer and dryer set along with delivery and installation. We also bought a lot of lumber for 2 projects. The installer broke our new dryer door because he assumed he knew how to remove it instead of reading the directions. Now I’m spending time trying to rectify it with either someone coming to fix it or getting a replacement. In the meanwhile- no dryer. We didn’t get the right lumber order either.

    I purchased a WD garage door with TorqueMaster lift in June 2021. It took 15-months for install (I was reimbursed $200 from Lowe's). A few months later, the small diameter manual open cables that control the flapper locks broke. Weeks went by before they were repaired. 5-months after the 1-year warranty, the TorqueMaster door opener failed. WD wanted another $350 to install a new upgrade that, according to WD rep and independent installers, are garbage. Conclusion: WD is not a reputable company because the managers know that the TorqueMaster springs are improperly engineered; therefore, should not be used, yet they continue to dupe customers into buying them. As far as I am concerned, WD is a ripoff company charging customers for something they know if defective when installed. Get the word out that the bottom line, not integrity or customer satisfaction, is the motto of the Wayne Dalton Company.

    What does it take to get a working refrigerator from GE/Lowe's? And decent customer service? Our new refrigerator was delivered on July 29th. That evening it was discovered that the water dispenser/ice maker was not functioning properly, takes 2 minutes to dispense 8 oz of water vs. standard of less than 20 seconds. August 9th a service technician came out to the house to determine the issue. It was stated that a new valve was needed, and would be available August 20th. On the 12th of Aug., we were informed that the technician had closed out the ticket and no part had been ordered. Another service call was scheduled for the same technician to work on our frig on Aug. 19th. He never showed up.

    A third service visit was scheduled. At our request, a different, seemingly more professional technician was sent to our home. This technician determined that it could be the line to the refrigerator (which worked on the previous refrigerator). Or it could be the filtration system is not working properly as the filter does not sit correctly. He recommended that the next step was for us to hire a plumber to replace the water line/connection. This costly repair also did not remedy the issue. Now GE claims to be sending us a new filter to see if that solves the problem.

    NUMBER 1: They probably should have started by testing the filter on day 1. NUMBER 2: They have mentioned on more than 1 occasion the possible need to replace the freezer door. Please explain how that works. Does the water go through the door to get to the ice maker? NUMBER 3: Why was that so-called problem valve never replaced? GE finally sent us a new filter, recieved Sept. 10, with the hopes that would solve the problem described below. It did not. Water still flows at less than 8 oz. in 2 minutes. We are still trying to figure out how to get a fully functioning refrigerator, preferably from a company with reliable customer service. Lowe's does not take back faulty appliances after the 2nd day, however they tell you to contact the manufacturer to repair the appliance as it is under a supposed warranty.

    Taking the time to contact the manufacturer negates that 2-day window to have the machine returned to Lowe's. Lovely little trick of theirs. The manufacturer, GE, wants to continue to send out technicians to "work" on an appliance that was faulty from the start. We have given up 4 days use of our kitchen for workers to possibly show up and pretend to work on the refrigerator. We are required to lock our dogs up for each visit and obviously can't use the kitchen requiring us to limit children's access as well. YES, we have contacted Lowe's who refuses to take the faulty appliance. YES, we have worked with the manufacturer. NO, we do not have a working refrigerator after 2 months. YES, we will be discontinuing payments on this faulty piece of equipment as we did not receive what we ordered and were charged for.

    Angel and Santiago came to our to upgrade our dishwasher that we bought at Lowe's. It is a super quiet model. It is stainless steel on the front. The entry keys are on the top row, so they are not visible when the machine is on. I like that one racks is adjustable. Both of the gentlemen speak Spanish. They are a very efficient team.     This is a review for the terrible Warranty service through Lowe’s US Appliance Repair. My Whirlpool dishwasher, which I’ve only had for a year stop circulating water. They sent a technician who said he needed to order parts that has already been a week ago I called the number and they said that they had a hard time finding the parts and they’re gonna have them shipped to the technician. They don’t know when he’s gonna come out. This is awful Service. Got a five-year warranty, but I feel like it’s a joke. I’ll come back to do a follow up after these people come back out and fix it

    This review is based on the customer service received at the Thomas Langston location in Winterville NC. My mother in law purchased a washing machine online and designated me as the pick up person. The pick up was curbside so I checked in online to let them know I was on the way. When I arrived at the store I pulled into one of the six curbside parking spots, by the way only two were available the other four were occupied by people inside the store shopping. (People are just lazy and rude these days.) After I parked I went online and let them know I was at the store and what spot I was in. After about 30 minutes of waiting and after seeing a Lowes employee bring a washer out and load it into the back of a truck without scanning a barcode or checking an ID, I decided to call the store.

    When someone answered I informed them that I had been checked in and waiting for sometime, I heard them say in the background "they just left" and "you put it in the wrong truck". They assured me they were coming out with the washer. I waited another fifteen minutes then went in the store. A young lady named Ebonee said they were working on it and that there was a mix up. I know what the mix up was I stated. I asked to speak with a manager she said that she was their manager. I asked to speak to the store manager, he is not here I was told. I never received any apology for the wait or the mix up.

    I went back to my truck and finally they came out with the washer. Ebonee came out with the young man and i showed her my barcode to scan, she said I already got it. Again they were not interested in me proving who I was, they just loaded up a $500.00 washing machine into my truck not knowing I truly was who I said I was. This particular Lowes has always had terrible customer service. I wish we had a Home Depot in town.

    On 8/31/24 I ordered a stove, dishwasher & over the stove microwave during Lowe's Labor Day sale. I chose delivery, install & haul away. For my stove I picked 9/9/24 for delivery & the other two said “as soon as 9/7/24”, I had to pick date & time when installer called me. So, stove was delivered & set up on 9/9/24 & old one was taken away. I’ve made 8 phone calls & 2 trips to the store up til today 9/18/24 to find out the status of my microwave & dishwasher.     Now, the update I just got 9/18/24 (almost a month after I ordered) is that the truck carrying my appliances to the store got in an accident, appliances damaged. I was told that I now have to go into the store to resolve this. I asked WHY they couldn’t just reorder the appliances & deliver & install. She said this is the procedure when something like this happens. I told her I’ll be in the store tomorrow & she can tell them there’s going to be an explosion because I’ve been waiting almost a month, no updates, conflicting answers so I will NEVER AGAIN purchase any appliances from Lowe’s!     I have purchased several appliances over the summer. It took me 30 days to figure out why the stacked washer/dryer is rattling and why my laundry room is like a steam room each time I come in. I live alone and can't move the washer dryer since it's stacked. I was able to slide behind and see that the vent is crushed and the hose has fallen into the vent. I also lifted the lid due to the room being so hot after I pressed cold wash and realized that there is no cold water. I usually have to call for 4-8 days to get a hold of anyone. They do not answer the phone 90% of the time and I have cancer and driving is too much most days.

    I finally got a hold of someone 3-4 days after my 30 day purchase to fix it. They obviously didn't get the hose correct, or the vent. They told me they would schedule someone to fix it. No one ever called me back. After days of trying to contact them, almost a week, I called Lowe's Corporate and they told me, since I was past the 30 days they can't help me, and the lady rudely said is there anything else I can help you with? I could not believe it. In the past two years, with the store and the one in Vegas, with Carpet, ceramic tile floors, 4 appliances in this house alone and 3 in the last one. We have spent almost $40,000 in two years, we will never use LOWE's ever again. This is NOT the first time we have had issues with them. Can't show a picture of no cold water. This is 100% their fault and 30 or 60 days should not matter. How am I to know what's wrong? I can't move the thing to see what's done.

    My wife and I have contracted with Lowe's in Weaverville, NC to install LVL floors throughout our home. We set the installation date more than a month after we signed the contract. Now, one day before the installation is to commence Lowe's calls us to inform us that they ordered (1) box of floor tiles instead of the needed 65 boxes. No one at the Weaverville Lowe's store was aware of the mistake until now! The level of incompetence at this location is legendary! If they can't get the materials in the original time frame, then hello Home Depot!

    I had my tile removed and laminate flooring installed. Upon removing the tile a piece of tile shoot through and broke my sliding glass door. Also damaged was my cabinet which was also struck by the flying tile. Nothing was done to protect the inside of my home. I was immediately informed about the door not the cabinet, they did get someone out to repair the glass but denied me the cabinet. The story gets better. Soon after they paid for door they said the floor needed to be grinded and the cost was $2000 and it was not included in the floor prep. They claimed floor was off 1/2 inch and I refused to pay that. I got my own 8 foot level and it was only off 1/16 on a 8 foot span.

    They stopped working till payment was complete. We talked them down to $750 as we had no floor and concrete was tough to walk on. According to the flooring manufacturers they allow 3/16 inches off for unlevel install and the warranty would still be in affect. They raised the price just to over the cost of the $800 glass repair. I was held hostage to pay the additional cost or they would not return. I also asked that the entire base molding be replaced on 1st floor to avoid different styles. I asked the sales person and store are you sure the base ordered is enough? The answer is no, I had to go in my truck and buy 85 feet of base and pay another $300 more to complete. Lowe's offered me $75 gift card to pay for my $200 cabinet repair which I denied. AS of today crickets on a reply.

Well the 9th come and past no call to say windows are in. My husband and I tried to call Lowe's for 2 days and couldn't get anyone to answer the main line. I got a hold of them this morning and was told now my windows was pushed back again and would not be in till Sept 22, 2024.     Lowe’s has been an absolute nightmare. We placed an order for a fridge during the Fourth of July sale. Our delivery date has now been pushed back to the end of October an original delivery date of July 22nd. While I understand that they may not be able to get parts from their third party vendor, they should take accountability for offering wrong delivery dates, no resolutions and staff who are not honest with customers. They, at one point, told me my fridge had been delivered to Lowe’s and just needed shipped to us.

    When they delayed again, I asked about this discrepancy and was literally told I was lied to. Next, they assured me there were 41 in stock and we would be receiving our fridge on our new scheduled delivery date. WRONG AGAIN! We are now pushed out until the end of October. Lowe’s has been an absolute joke of a store. They have lost my business both personally and professionally. I will shop elsewhere now and make it well known what Lowe’s represents.     Just to let everyone know the newer return policies are much more restrictive. At the present it all depends on the manager on that day! However the policy is now that if they cannot find your receipt in their new system you will not get the refund! Of course this is very dependent on the clerk you have assisting you. If they don’t ask for additional info like phone number or other CC’s you may not get your refund. As well as two items the same but one not having the Bar code. Warning - if it does not have a bar code don't expect to return it!

    I love this company and still recommend it! But beware of new policy changes and note they are going to a newer computer system that does not have your history of purchases. I live 2 hours away and always buy extra to be sure I can finish the job. Be sure you bring back your returns within the 90 day window. Was asking for in-store credit but was told they no longer do that, yet funny thing was yesterday they did it! Different managers 31 Aug- 1 Sep? In the past 3 years I have spent thousand at this store and still support it! Just beware!

    Bought a Bosch dishwasher on line from Lowe's. They didn’t trouble themselves to disclose that while they would be happy to haul away the old machine and install the new one (for a fee), the customer is responsible for deinstalling the old unit. Neither of their delivery guys spoke a word of English. And they showed up with a $500 piece of crap machine instead of the $1200 machine I purchased. Canceled the sale and bought the machine from a local appliance store. Did I pay more? Yes, I did. But the local guys do the whole job and they speak English. Avoid Lowe's.

    The Lowe's Protection Plan pamphlet is misleading and disingenuous. They need to be changed. Assurant will not recognize your protection plan reference number until 72 hours after you purchase the plan. You cannot make a maintenance or service claim, nor can you claim 50% off for performance and care items until Assurant recognizes your reference number. The Lowe's Protection Plan pamphlet (for all products) should clearly state that Assurant will not recognize any claim within 3 business days of the protection plan purchase. In addition, the pamphlet should clearly state that customers will not be able to speak to a representative from Assurant and must submit and/or complete any claims online.

    Omg! Where do I begin... I'm not one to write negative reviews BUT this one is a must! My husband is disabled, uses a cane. That day was on the motorized wheel chair. We were getting lumber, and the employees were passing by did not acknowledge us at all! Never offered assistance. I had to load them by myself. 24 boards! I tried pushing the cart myself but it was too heavy. Employees still continuing to ignore. We finally had to go and speak with management to get assistance. As we headed back to where we had our lumber the employees looked at us like "How dare us talk to the manager". I thought Home Depot was bad with assistance, but I was wrong..Lowe's in Corpus Christi is the worst when it deals with customer courtesy/assistance!

    We bought a brand new Frigidaire fridge in January of 2022, and have had nothing but issues with it. We've gone through 2 service calls under the manufacturer's warranty, and we're on our 2nd or 3rd service call under Lowe's extended warranty. Our service provider tried to deem the fridge unrepairable, however, Lowe's is making him replace parts that were replaced back in June. I'd honestly never buy another home appliance from them or Frigidaire again. The customer service is awful and their products are no better.

    On 9/27/23 I hired Lowes to re-roof my house $10,014.09 down payment / financed $32,000. I Received email confirming install date of 10/4/2023. 1 1/2 months later on 11/22/23 the Subcontractor finally shows up and tears off my old shingles. Lowes informs me that the shingles were “accidently” not ordered and would not be delivered for a week or two. It rains on my unprotected roof from 11/29/23 until 12/4/23 when install resumes. I call Lowes and I am assured, in writing, that Lowes would send out a water remediation company to asses the water damages. I inform Lowes about mold smell, water damage, damage to my house from sub-contractor my roof was grossly over measured by several hundred sq feet. Not only did I pay for the extra materials, I paid for the labor to install them, and I want a refund.

    Lowes reassures me in writing: once again that Lowes would take care of me, that a claim would be opened, a supervisor would contact me, and that Lowes would take care of my issues. I make numerous calls to Lowes over the next 3 to 4 months, Lowes keeps stringing me along, telling me they will take care of the problems they caused at my house. 2/23/24 local install team: Informs me that the work is completed and there is nothing else that I am entitled to. I file on Lowes Bond, a Lowes claim agent tells me that she is sending a mold company out to asses my situation, in writing, she tells me to cut my wall open, which exposes my whole house to mold, Then 2 days later she says she is not sending anyone, My wife and I are forced to sleep in our RV due to bad mold contamination in the house

    I'm a homeowner and we were shopping for a stove and refrigerator, I could not believe how difficult it was to get any help, let alone just to purchase them was a big ordeal. The Issaquah store is a dying store and every time I go there I say to myself, I can't stand the vibe of this store, the people who work here seem to stand there doing nothing and certainly don't know anything. I also went in to get an oil-based paint for the garage doors, I asked for help 3 times and when I got it, he had no idea what he was doing and told me I should go to Sherwin-Williams paint store. I felt I needed to share this with others, I always end up at Home Depot which is a store that prides itself on its customer satisfaction.

    As a contractor, Lowe's has been my go-to source for well over a dozen years. In the past few years they have degraded noticeably. Starting with too few employees to actually help customers to locate items (or to even check out) to now requiring veterans to SCAN their ID to get a discount (apparently it's not enough to just have an employee verify it anymore). Sure, I'll just give Lowe's all the info on my driver's license... What could possibly go wrong? Ever hear of hackers or identity theft? Sorry Lowe's, you can keep your vastly reduced list of items available for discounts. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

    To get my windows installed, Lowe’s scheduled an appointment for me after three months, which felt like a long wait. When the installer arrived, he discovered that one of the windows was the wrong size. He said I would need to call the company to order the correct size and set up another appointment for installation. When I asked when the next appointment could be, he shocked me by saying it could be another three months! When I refused to wait, he called Lowe’s to figure out a solution. They instructed him to resize the window if possible and install it that day. He seemed to blame me for the situation and made things difficult.

    Although he eventually installed the window, less than a week later, the wall underneath started to deteriorate due to a leak, even though the house was recently repaired and painted. When I complained to Lowe’s, they apologized but told me I would need to apply caulk myself to fix the issue. On top of that, there was also a problem with the door they installed. My advice is to avoid using their services for any work!

    I am very unhappy with Lowe's 3 Extended Warranty Protection Plan! I have purchased the Extended Warranty for that reason to EXTEND the 1 year warranty from the manufacturer to 4 years!! I called to get service and I was told the extended warranty is NOT an EXTENED warranty. It runs parallel to the manufacturers warranty I was told by Mitch the manager of Lowes Protection Plan. So when you go to purchase a product from LOWES they lie about the 3 year extended warranty. It is really just 2 years. So don't buy an appliance extended warranty appliance don't usually break down in 2 years it is usually after that time. Extended Warranties are a waste of MONEY!!
