I decided to purchase a new wall oven from my local Lowe's store in Severn, MD. The sales associate, John, was very helpful and friendly. That is about the only good thing I can say about my experience so far. I ordered the oven and they told me that it would take a week or so to come in. Nope, it was nearly 2 weeks and THEN when the installers went to pick up the unit (Lowe's railroads you into using their installers), it wasn't there. Now keep in mind, if I had ordered the unit without the installation, the website told me that I could expect delivery THE NEXT DAY.
When we called to find out what was up, someone told us that it looked like the oven was in stock at the store, but then she never called us back to follow up. It is now 4 days after the oven was supposed to be installed and I still don't have an oven, or information or even the courtesy of a phone call. Additionally, when I attempt to call the store, no one in appliances ever answers the phone. Maybe they don't realize that I have other choices to spend too much money on a new appliance?

Bought a large washing machine from Lowe's online in Louisiana. My receipt said one store, the ship from address was another location and came out of a 3rd party shipper warehouse, per delivery people and customer service. This thing was LOADED with Mice!! I caught 3 and 1 is eating poison somewhere behind or under the refrigerator. This is a new home and has absolutely no holes anywhere!! I was going to purchase a dryer shortly after the washer yet now; I don't want to hear the name Lowe's!!! They are coming to pick it up for a refund. They should bring need more traps, extermination and some sort of compensation for going through this horrific nightmare. My HVAC unit can't come on for me jumping out my skin!! I better not need therapy behind this. I am a woman and am not used to mice AT ALL!!!

Lowe's installation company, Service Pro's screwed up 2 flooring jobs. For 10 mo. I’ve tried to get them to FAIRLY compensate me but “Pamela” says I have to accept less than 1/2 of the cost of damages

Ordered and had a screen door installed just over two years ago - no issues. Since then, they apparently have partnered with a new installation sub-contractor, “Integrity First Installations, LLC”. This company is terrible. The person who initially measured our door failed to send in measurements to the store for over a week. Lowe’s finally dispatched another person who then no-showed on the confirmed installation date. Lowe’s refuses to take responsibility for their sub-contractor or resolve the issue. I’ve been dealing with this for over a month now.

I was starting to remodel my house after 11yrs. Which means new everything, myself and hubby was hosting Thanksgiving Dinner this year so everything would be in and finished by that time. I started this adventure in September 2024. Everything was starting, Contractors and Painters had started in my home, furniture was ordered everything was going good. I was upgrading all my appliances. So as I was researching different brands I started price comparison. In the years past I've brought appliances from Home Depot. So I first went to the HD in Dover De. and at the time they didn't have what I was looking for. I then went to the Lowe's in Dover De. and they actually had what I was looking for (Black Stainless Steel)

I had gone to Lowes to buy a new tub and surround. I was told by a sales person that Rebath would install lowes product. So I had Rebath quote me a price. It was then that I learned rebath does not install lowes product. I was pissed. Why does lowes even team up with rebath? Must have been a big secret because the store manager told me he didn't know rebath did not install lowes tubs or shower products. Rebath is just using lowes to advertise their unpopular brand. Where is the honesty???

We had wood floors installed, not only did they upcharge us staying they needed to level our floor with cement, but they made the floor too high and now they can’t put our doors back on because they’re too “tall”. They stated we would need to hire someone to have our doors cut. The installers also cut our carpet too short on the stairs leaving a gap between the hardwood floor and the carpet. The carpet is hanging out and shedding all over due to being cut wrong. I will never be using Lowe’s again and I HIGHLY suggest you look elsewhere. Our installers didn’t speak any English either. This whole process was so stressful, and we spent about $5,000 for this to be done. I can’t stress how disappointed I am.

I went to Lowe's to return vinyl siding corners. In a rude fashion I was told could not return because it was over 90 days even though they quickly found it by credit card. No one tells you about the 90-day policy when you buy it only that it can be returned with receipt or looking it up by purchase. No other helpful offers like store credit etc; just a blunt statement of over 90 days.
Went to same STORE approximately 2 weeks later to return vinyl siding. They could not find where I had purchased it on the same credit card I used before. Turned in 2 other items on the same credit card (that same night) but they said they couldn't find the vinyl siding charge. Had to reload truck, go home and get receipt. During each of these events was told if I had a Lowe's card wouldn't have these problems. Thanks for horrendous service. Will not need Lowe's card because I will not be shopping there. I am sure you get many of these daily.

Lowe’s store employees are fantastic! Lowe’s Installation Center has been a nightmare. Screwed everything up from beginning to end. Didn’t return calls, broke every promise made. Did not communicate with me or the actual installer and wouldn’t allow me to call them directly. I called anyway and they wouldn’t do anything without a work order from Lowe’s and the work orders were always wrong. Spent well over $2000 to fix things they broke or threw away including paying my own plumber and electrician to finish work they didn’t do. The job isn’t finished but I gave up and requested compensation that was promised for months. After 8 months of this miserable project I submitted a 23 page request with pictures and receipts and they offered to take $600 off my $19,000 kitchen. I keep calling them and the poor people that answer the phone keep promising that someone will call me back but no one ever does.

I recently purchased a service thru Lowe's Angi for installation of a new toilet. The appointment scheduling was horrible, no way to contact the service except thru their app via texting. A date and time was assigned without securing a tech or contacting me to see if I was available. I waited all day only to get a text at the end of My appt timeframe that a tech had not been identified and rescheduled me two days later without even checking my availability. My new appointment time was changed 3 times, totally irregardless of my time. Appt Message sent indicated a 48 hour cancellation policy regardless of my ability to accept their provided appointment. When tech finally arrived installation was fine. I would highly advise anyone not to utilize this installation service.

Lowe’s push to sell their Lowes protection plan with every electrical product sold. The company they use is called Assurant…. Who have 1222 reviews and an average of only 2.2. I wonder whether anyone at Lowe’s bothers to check the companies out that they associate with or is it all about the money as opposed to the consumer.
And why do I know all of this.... because I took one of their protection policies on a washing machine and after over a month and two trips from their appointed clueless plumber we still do not have a working washing machine and now it will be another 2 weeks as that’s how long they say it takes to get parts… Interesting fact that as I asked what part he needed and after he left I found it on Amazon Prime for next day delivery… Get your act together and stop upwelling useless policies

I ordered a vacuum through Lowe’s online. They shipped it to the wrong address. When I informed them of it, they sent it anyway. When I spoke with them through text chat, I was told that they would ship another one to me. Before I could give them the correct address, they shipped it to the wrong address AGAIN! I called immediately (30 seconds after) and told them it was wrong. They shipped it anyway. I was told I wouldn’t be charged for the vacuums. When I saw the charge on my card, they said that the other person gave me bad information and that I wouldn’t be charged. I spoke with Synchrony (the CC company) and now THEY’RE telling me I have to pay for it! It was Lowe’s mistake!!! They screwed up TWICE and I have to pay for THEIR mistake?!? I’ve already cut up my Lowe’s card and will NEVER shop with them again. They rip off the consumer.

We bought a building from another company and wanted to match the color so we could paint another building the same color. We went to several places trying to match the color and no one could match it... We finally went to Lowe's in Dalton and this boy named Logan matched it perfect on the first try. The first picture is where they failed miserably.

Never Buy Appliances at Lowe's. The service was horrible, the worst I have ever seen, and the products were delivered damaged. After weeks, not kidding, of back and forth with customer service. Edit that! It was all me calling them, they never called back no matter how many times they said they would. They ended up telling me I was foolish for not using my Lowe's Credit card because it extends the return window from 48 hours to 30 days. What an insulting policy, not to mention the rude and insulting staff. I spent a lot of money! Never going back inside a Lowe's ever again.

Never shop there again. Customer service is terrible. Had to get untitled trailer due to the not completing paperwork. Poorly trained and arrogant employees. After four attempts gave up. Go to Home Depot.

Beware- Lowe's Protection Plan. Against my better judgment, we purchased the Lowes Protection Plan with my 2024 Samsung Refrigerator. Was given the pamphlet and told that we would make our money back in filters alone and that it was so simple--just buy the filters and get back up to 100.00 per year!. Purchased 2 filters but guess what? --all kinds of hoops to jump through. Lowes (Riverview Fl) cannot help and will not refund. They gave me the same number on the pamphlet and instructed me to call them back. The number for service (Assurant) cannot help--was transferred multiple times and now I'm being told I have to first contact Samsung. Do not purchase this protection plan. They hope that you give up and will pocket your money. Not happy with Lowes, the protection plan, the Riverview Fl store or the management.

Nothing wrong with the GE Refrigerator! The problem is that Lowe's installers deliver the refrigerator, unpack it, plug it in, ask for a large glass or mug to flush the water line as directed in the owner's manual. I gave them a large sports mug. Without any experience with the refrigerator the owner (me) wouldn't know. I didn't watch what the installer did after handing him the mug, but I did see him pour about a third of a mug full of murky water into the sink AND THEY LEFT! This was at approximately 5:30 pm on a Friday. It wasn't until Saturday morning that I attempted to get a glass of water via the auto door dispenser that I saw a message ("Dispenser off". Change the water filter.) The installer had to have seen the message and chose to ignore it.
I went to local Lowe's and was informed that I needed to report the problem and only had 48 hours to do so. Long story made short; On Sunday morning I decided that I would purchase another filter and try it. I had to use a small wrench to turn the installed filter about 1/8 CCW in order to get it the installed filter out. See the attached photo. Apparently some substance (gummy like, glue maybe) had gotten onto the end of the filter preventing it from sealing properly. Whatever this substance was had run down the back corner of the refrigerator as shown in the photo. After cleaning out the filter connector area I installed the new filter and the refrigerator began working just fine. I had downloaded and read the Owner's Manual by this time and ran several large mugs of water as directed prior to actually using dispensed water.

Lowe's in Santa Fe review. I purchased a fridge and flooring. These are the only good parts of my visit to this store. We were looking at the refrigerators and asked one of the workers for help. He asked which one we wanted and he would check and see if they had it in stock. So we're waiting and then we noticed him helping another couple. We waited about 30 min. before he got back to helping us. Next we had to pay for the flooring and wait for the worker to bring the refrigerator to the front. We waited another 20 min. then I went inside to see where my fridge was. The customer service worker paged the appliance dept. twice with no answer. He went to the back to look for the worker. Finally we got an answer about 30 min. later. An hour wait in total. You would think that would be the end of the horrible day but no! We got hone and unwrapped the fridge and found dents on the doors of our "brand new" refrigerator. I would not recommend this store to anyone!!!

I ordered a pit boss grill online and requested assembly and delivery. The delivery was delayed 3 weeks because the assembler did not show up at the store every week as scheduled. When the grill was delivered it was missing two screws attaching the legs to the grill barrel and all of them were extremely loose on the other legs. I am totally and completely dissatisfied with the whole experience!

Do NOT buy a custom order, laminate countertop from Lowe’s. The quality is very poor. It came with laminate not glued in many spots, a tacky glue on the laminate surface. 2 side strips delaminated in the first 2 weeks. A chip in the laminate. 2 mitered corners that were joined unevenly. 2 missing clamps under the countertop. There’s more problems, but you get the point. The Lowe’s employee that I ordered it with was bumbling through the process, was annoyed when I made a change. Not a fan! There’s 4 or 5 companies that you deal with, not just Lowe’s. That was an experience. The complaint process took more than 6 months. I talked with and emailed many different people, departments and companies. DO NOT buy this product from Lowe’s.

Bought Whirpool washer in May 2024. It was installed by Lowe's. Few months later started getting problems. The washer is shaking and cannot complete the cycle even with 1 towel. Few months later, it started to leak from the drain hose. Got Whirpool tech, still under 1 year warranty. The technician said the washer was not installed correctly, Lowe's needs to fix it. Not Whirpool problem. Called Lowe's few times local stores and headquarters and still cannot get them to redo installation. Lowe's said 48 hours window to redo installation after it is installed. But the product broke few months later because of their wrong installation. I used to be a loyal Lowe's customer, never again will use them again. I stuck with expensive washer which does not work and damages my floor.

I spend thousands of dollars at Lowe's, service is spotty but up till today not terrible. Live in Sarasota and the hurricane destroyed several appliances. On 10/23 I order a new dishwasher, not an inexpensive one at that. After waiting a week for the installation, when the time came, no show. No one called from Lowe's to tell me there was an issue. I called the installation company, they stated that the installer went to the store to pick it up and it was not there. They informed Lowe's, who neglected to call me. I called them, after waiting on hold I finally spoke to customer service, they were unable to explain why I was not contacted and that they told the installer to the wrong store to pick up the dishwasher. No communication. Just meaningless apologies.
Even though they have a 2 day policy for missed deliveries they are now telling me they can't deliver the item for 7 days from today. My advice to you is to do business with a local retailer, not a big box store that cares little for their customers. If you look at the reviews of Lowe's you will see that this is a common issue with Lowe's and they have very low satisfaction reviews.

Placed an order online on Sunday. Went Monday to pick up, Lady behind the counter said it could take up to 3 days to process. I get an email today saying they were out of stock! Orders used to be ready for pick up in 2hrs. It's hard to get any kind of help there and finding someone that knows anything about their section is hard to come by. Calling corporate is a joke. Can't get nowhere in that area either. Pretty much on my own. Do all the research I can and drive an hour to use their competition.

After visiting Lowe's Garden Center in Lady Lake I needed to write a review for those who helped me today. Two ladies working there were extremely helpful even though it was very busy. Rhonda was very knowledgeable and friendly. She helped me match certain plants to make a great visual in my garden. Also Laura the cashier was friendly and helpful. Wonderful experience. Thank You Lowes For These Kind Ladies.

Extremely frustrated. Ordered all the suggested parts. Order the matching set of stackable washer and dryer only to be told I would need to hire a plumber to come fix installation. Absolutely outrageous. This service was not cheap and I ordered all of the extra to ensure it went smoothly. It should not be this to order a washer and dryer.

Very poor service. A sales associate Loaded a broken window onto the cart. We noticed it while we were loading it. Went back in..They had to refund it and then charge me for a new one. According to manager this is the policy. He also said, "This Is not Walmart where we just exchange things." So I will not be returning to Lowe's..Wasted so much time.

I always shop at Lowe's and I am refurbishing my apartment. Today I returned 3 tiles, yes, just 3. I had purchased them to make sure they fit with the current setting, but they did not so I returned them. I had no receipt but usually have the credit card on hand which I used, but today I did not. The cashier still processed my return but made sure I knew he is doing me a favor since the policy has changed and I do appreciate that. But the barcode on the tiles was and is a Lowe's barcode.
I knew it was a minimal amount but before throwing the tiles out I had decided on the return since I always shop at Lowe's, I buy my appliances there and purchased 9 kitchen cabinets there. And it is the place where I spend my money for home improvements, but after the employee laughed at me for returning such a minimal item, again just 3 tiles, I am rethinking who I will give my business to. It was poor customer service for making me feel not valued and even being laughed at. Money is money and customer service should not depend on how much I spend with the company. Bad customer service.

Ordered a chest freezer. Needed help moving it so didn’t open it for a week. Open it up and there’s a big dent. Also, they have it in sale for $200 off. They wouldn’t honor either. I even have a video showing me open it the night before I called. They have a 48hr policy on all appliances since they’re the most expensive. Wouldn’t even give me my veteran discount that wasn’t applied. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT LOWE’S AGAIN!!

I spent over $1,000 and purchased a portable generator on October 8th. I brought it home. It took 41 minutes talking with the representative from the company to get it going. I let it run and assume that it would start up immediately upon its use after hurricane Milton had left. On the morning of October 10th with less than 48 hours from the time I purchased it I tried it again. Ended up talking with another representative. It did not start. I was told to take it back to the store. The store was not open until 2:00 p.m. because of the hurricane. They refused to take it back because they said it was out of the box.
I filed a complaint with them and then was received an email stating they didn't return it because it was after the 48 hours. I am Pro customer. I've done tens of thousands of dollars of business with them but never again. Not one more Penny will they ever get from. This was a FIrman WH0 3562OF. Generator. The representative from Firman told me they were receiving a lot of calls on this generator and that hit they had been sent out without being tested because of the emergency of the hurricane. Neither company is reputable in my opinion.

We have been frequent Lowe's customers for years and have bought many appliances there. NEVER AGAIN! We bought an induction range and two years after it was installed, it nearly caused a catastrophic house fire. Lowe's had wired it incorrectly and the wires melted down and thankfully it was extinguished quickly. We have photos and we hired a contractor to fix it and they stated it was definitely wired incorrectly. Lowe's refused to take any responsibility and would not provide any compensation for the cost to repair their mistake. What a horrible business model!

I came into Lowe’s in Culpeper to buy a new dishwasher. Associate Kyle was friendly and had a great smile. He was upfront and honest explaining that most units would need to be ordered in. He was not a pushy and instead educated me on what futures people valued most. He gave me time to make my own decision. Kyle’s kindness and honesty went above and beyond my expectations. He has set the bar extremely high for the customer service Lowe’s offers.

I report that after the installation there is a leak behind the wall this time. Even worse after I reported DRF company, they said they never accepted their false installation and tried to charge us another inspection of their own technical problem. We never experienced this kind of irresponsible subcontractor. I may need to inspect with other plumber to repair their leakages. Moreover the installers they sent us were nice guys but their works were very rough and did not even shut off the gas valve to install the new gas valve. We will report this irresponsible installation service to the city authorities. We keep this record and make a proper action against the costs that we have to spend for the damage they made. I will send all the honest reviews to certain places to warn the future Lowe’s customers. Seriously we never use the Lowe’s installation. Very disappointing.

My wife and I hired LOWE'S as a contractor for removal and installation of new counter tops and backsplash. LOWE'S forces consumers to pay for everything in advance, before they will schedule your job. Total charges for removal of counter tops and removal of backsplash 1650.00. The LOWE'S contractor demo and granite installer, broke the electric box's during the demo. These outlets were on the backsplash that was removed. These installers made a large mistake after completion of counter tops. They didn't cut sink correctly and had to redo this 4 days later. After this mistake we had to reschedule the tile backsplash installer.
On 09/16/2024, tile backsplash contractor discovered the broken electric box's at 3 outlets. We attempted to call local Lowe's Palestine TX. Scott **, the manager he would not return calls. So I reported to BBB. The next person that called me was Executive Customer Relations Jeff **. Communicating with Jeff ** was a total waste of my time. It's evident he just is someone whom delays consumers. Jeff asked for pics of outlets electric box's that were broken. I provided those for him. During my conversations with Jeff, he was not helpful! All he did was delay.
First he wanted me to perform these repairs. Secondly he wanted me to have 3 electricians come give bids. I suggested his store mgr at Palestine Tx. arrange to send three electricians to my home or send electrician over to repairs. LOWE'S seems to think consumers work for them. This is amusing because LOWE'S contract we signed states clearly, if the consumer hires a contractor or attempts to repair items LOWE'S WILL NO LONGER BE RESPONSIBLE! Although I attempted to work with LOWE'S, no realistic solution was offered by Lowe's. This was all a delay tactic. Mr. ** considers this closed. We as consumers do not consider this closed!

Lowe's Installation in New England apparently is awful. Installer should have called yesterday to schedule for today. No call. I called Lowe's - the Lowe's people are seemingly competent. I was told today arrival between 2 and 5. No show. Now they cannot get here for six days. I do not understand why those they blew off have to go to the end of the line? I should be put first. But maybe they have failed another # of people as well? I did save $200 over Home Depot, beginning to wish I had had Home Depot install.

Do not place an order for delivery! My order was 2 days late after they delivered the wrong product the first time. Since the delivery service is 3rd party, I had 4 different phone numbers calling my phone, and neither company would reimburse my 99$ delivery fee!

Do not ever ever ever, use Lowe's when they need to contract out for an installation. My carpet buckled after only a few years, the manufacturer stated it was installed incorrectly, which makes sense because two kids were hired for the install. Lowe's needs to vet what companies they hire. Now Lowe's want to charge me 400.00 to have it fixed, ridiculous.

I give Lowe’s delivery one star because the service was terrible. I bought a washer on Aug 11, 2024 the delivery was to be Aug 15. I received an email saying it was delivered. When I returned home it wasn’t delivered. My husband waited all day for them. We went to the store and found out they wouldn’t go down the driveway. I canceled the order and asked for a refund. That was Aug 15, 2024. I still haven’t received my refund.
Then store tells me that the delivery company handles refunds for appliances like washers. And that it can take up to 16 days. I waited and called the number I was given. They told me it is being sent back to the card and to check with my bank. On Sept 20, I called back because my bank has nothing from Lowe's. The lady I spoke with kept me on hold while she spoke with supervisor. She said she sent it to the bank and I should be receiving it 2 to 16 days so I waited on October 15. They said it was processed on Sept 20 but can’t give me proof the bank received the money. So they kept the washer and my money!!!

I have used Lowe's in the past for home improvement and have never had a problem until now. We ordered a generator to be installed. A subcontractor was hired by Lowe's. Came out and took measurement. Heard nothing for weeks, crickets. I had to provide a survey for the permits, fortunately I had one or I would have had to pay for another. Come out. Measure again, good to go or so I thought. They came a third time. Told me they were changing it from one side of the house to the other. Mind you, I'm not in possession of the unit yet. Get a $630 change order charge because of the changed which included erasing the box penciled in on the piece of paper to draw the box on the other side of the piece of paper. Obviously I didn't sign. I had to contact corporate to get the charge removed. They dropped off the useless generator in my yard for September 24, 2024 installation before hurricane Helene, it's still here.
Then they told me the installation couldn't happen until the gas permit was filed. I was hoping their gas people would hurry up since a storm was coming. The next day I was told I had to provide the gas and if a permit wasn't already filed installation would not occur. Get quotes from two different companies of $5,000 for the gas and at least a 4-8 week process for the permits which now puts us out after hurricane season. There were issues with the gas set up as well and at this point I threw my hands up and said we were done.
Now that the project isn't happening, they are charging me a $1300 restock fee. None of the issues with this project were because of me. The lack of communication and direction is mind blowing. I have worked with Lowe's in the past and have never had any issues until now. This has been months on end and I'm still losing money due to the incompetence. I would tell everyone to use Lowe's for home improvement but now, they have lost a valuable long term customer and credit card holder. Let's hope Home Depot can do better. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANY HOME PROJECTS!!!!

I ordered new carpet and installation for my stairs online. The process was so easy and I was informed every step of the way from the measurement to installation. Jag Floor Covering LLC was the company who installed the carpeting. When Brian from Jag arrived, he showed me the carpet and padding to be sure that it was what I ordered. He then took about 10 minutes to explain every detail of what they would be doing and asked me if I had any special requests on how I wanted the stairs covered. The job was completed in about 2 hours which included clean up. The team was very courteous in taking off their shoes before entering my home as well. I would give Jag Floor Covering LLC a 10 out of 10 for installation and service. I was very pleased with the service that both Lowe's and Jag Floor Covering provided. I would highly recommend the carpeting service.

Michael works in hardware department but happens to be in plumbing aisle and I started asking questions and he went out of his way to explain me. Excellent customer service!!!

I purchased a big screen tv from Lowe's and it was by far the worst experience I have ever had in purchasing anything! The tv arrived damaged and returning it is unbelievable. I get a customer representative online and he abandons me, he let me sit there for a half hour with no replies to any of my questions. I have never been treated so bad in my life. All I want to do is return it. I will never purchase anything from Lowes again. The TV set was damaged screen cracked.

I'd like to start by saying I dropped the ball. My wife made a purchase in 2021. A fridge, stove, and dishwasher. She selected installation for all 3 on the app. They bought all on a truck as is, no protective packaging, and installed all but the dishwasher. She asked them why and they said she needed to get a plumber to do it. She emailed and called Lowe's several times to no avail. The last convo she had directed her to someone outside of Lowe's and they told her they would email her and everything would be resolved. I didn't stay on top of my wife to make sure she was on top of them. We argued over much that year and forgot all about it. 2024 now and we need a new vanity so back to Lowe's I went, in person this time. I purchased the vanity and the install for the dishwasher to which they apologized for our experience.
The installers came and asked why the dishwasher wasn't in a box. I told them it came that way off the truck. They said that should've never happened. After further inspection, they decided they couldn't install the dishwasher because it was damaged on the inside. Damage we clearly couldn't have done to it. We couldn't return or exchange because we were outside of our window. We're simply out of 500 bucks.

We bought a new refrigerator from Lowe's and paid to have the old one picked up. However, for some unknown reason they refused to take the old and left it in yard. Of course this is an eyesore and a danger to children. Apparently Lowe's does not care. Many calls to Lowes and many unfilled promises or lies. They have certainly lost a long time customer.

I purchased a Kitchenaid dishwasher from Lowe's in Howell NJ USA on 10/3/24. It was delivered that Friday, 10/4/20, because it was Friday I could not have it installed until the following week by a plumber. Completing the installation there was a problem with the unit and after calling Lowe's who blew me off stating I needed to contact Kitchenaid because they did not know squat about the dishwasher, (What a surprise).
Calling Kitchenaid and after several attempts to resolve the issue a service call was needed. Fast forward to today, 10/10/24 a serviceman arrive and determined a major pump was defective and needed replacement. Calling Lowe's, they advised me that they have a 2-day return policy and said tough luck, I was past the 2 days even though it was delivered Friday, they did not care. If I could have left a zero star I would have. Stay away from Lowe's.

I paid Lowe's about $12000 for kitchen cabinets and installing here in Anchorage (Muldoon store) Alaska. My online assistant quoted me an $11000 project. I also had to pay for a countertop that cost $5000 more on top of the 12gs. Lowe's associate did not communicate with me or the countertop letting them know my order was here. The countertop contractors are stating they won't be able to get to my cabinets until a couple weeks. I tried to pay my outstanding balance on the tops but Lowe's wouldn't let me. They stated the system was locked and can't make any other payments than the $1700 I first paid as a 30% down payment. I tried to pay $1500 that day and today I also was trying to make a $500 payment.
Based on all the reviews I read about Lowe's and customer service displayed right before me as I asked for a Mgr who spoke with Rich first then came to me with a disrespectful attitude like accusing me of getting loud with her when trying to explain my point that Rich did not contact these people after telling me he would. I don't have to contact them he stated. The countertop people said he never made contact. I then ask to speak to the store Mgr since I sense some hostility with this mgr. She said she was the only Mgr here and she is in charge. I finally went to customer service where I requested the store Mgr. Another lady walked past me and went to speak to the rude Mgr who followed me to customer service but was hiding from behind an aisle.
After explaining to the Mgr from customer service about the work that Rich had not done I also stated I wanted someone else in the store to help me chose cheaper countertops. I asked if I can even do it at another store. Unfortunately this lady was mocking me right in front of my girlfriend stating stuff like, "You just wanted to get this and that done" in a very sarcastic way. I should have went to Home Depot. I hope anyone reading this and all of Lowe's reviews mainly stating how rude these people and do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot.

Frankly LOWE'S GETS A ZERO!! This will be lengthy… On July 15,2024 (less than three months ago) I purchased an electric power washer from the Lowe's in Edmond on Kelly along with a three year extended warranty thinking the power washer would be covered if it stopped working…which it did after only about 2-3 uses.. I take it back to Lowe's with my receipt only to be told they won’t refund my money or exchange it!!! So I ask to speak to a manager and am told that warranties are only good for two days on most things and there isn’t any at all on some things!!! Mind you I had purchased an extended warranty for just in case... In good faith, so I’m told I have to call the phone number to GREEN WORKS which I do, and am told to take the power washer back home and call them back and troubleshoot the unit with them over the phone!!!!
Then after all of this rigmarole, I’m supposed to take a picture of the gauge on my pressure tank and send it to them and they can’t or won’t do anything to resolve my problem until I do… I’ve also been told not to use an extension cord with this until and not one over 25’ and that my pressure tank has to have a psi of at least 40!!! All this goes to show is that Lowe's is keenly aware that their products are inferior at best being that most things come from CHINA, and that they are not going to stand behind anything whatsoever!!! After all of this, I will never ever buy anything that costs very much at Lowe's because frankly you’re in a crap shoot!! So hopefully this is a fair warning to anyone else that may be deceived by Lowe's and their horrible customer service!!

To give you a little background, I am a 100% disabled veteran and was medically discharged from the Army after nine years of service as a result of multiple combat injuries from my time in Iraq. My wife and I just closed on our first home last Friday under a VA home loan, which was a new build two-story home in a new development. My wife and I went shopping for our washer and dryer the same day after closing and decided to take our business to Lowe’s.
I would first like to start that our sales associate at Lowe’s did a phenomenal job with assisting us, answering any questions we had, and setting up a quick home delivery. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and provided superb customer service. From there, our experience with Lowe’s took a complete nosedive. Our delivery team showed up the next day as expected. When they arrived, they broke off an irrigation sprinkler head at the underground PVC pipe when trying to get the washing machine in because they didn’t exercise caution when navigating the walkway. When I confronted them with the damage, the delivery team ignored me and the damage. The delivery team continued with the delivery and installation of the washer and dryer.
Before they left, I checked on the installation of the washing machine and found that they had completely broken the washing machine overflow pan and the overflow drainage pipe, likely due to carelessness and manhandling the tray and connection when they were installing the washing machine. There was also water leaking all over the washroom floor, which is located on a second story, and the hot and cold water hookups were actively leaking. When I confronted the delivery team with the damage, one of the members told me that it was already damaged like that when they arrived.
I know this to be a lie, as I am a building inspector and this is a new build and we also just recently had more than four walkthroughs prior to inspect for any damage and my wife and I were at the home the day after closing to clean. After his repeated denials and lies, the team member then said that pushing the washing machine back to the wall would fix the problem. I knew at this point that I wasn’t going to get anywhere with the delivery team and I needed to contact Lowe’s to file a claim for damages. When I asked the delivery team to leave, one team member refused to leave the home. I asked him three times to leave our home.
After the third time asking him to leave, he tried to push past me where I was standing in the washroom to take pictures of the damage. I then pointed to the stairs and told him again to leave our home. After a moment of staring me down, he finally left. The delivery team however did not leave, they stayed parked at the end of our driveway while one of the team members stood outside my doorway on the porch. One of the team members then called the local police to file a complaint. When the police arrived, they had to repeatedly order the delivery team to get off the property and stay off the property.
The police told the team members that there was no wrongdoing on my part, as they not only caused the damage, but that it is within my rights to request they leave my home and should have left the first time they were told to leave. The delivery team then tried making it a race issue between ** and ** or **. The police officers advised them of the same. What the delivery team didn’t realize is that my wife is **. When she arrived home from work, the delivery team also got into my wife’s face in front of the police and confronted her. After some discussions with the police, the delivery team finally left. The police advised my wife and I that there was no wrongdoing on our part and to follow up Lowe’s for the damages and file a claim.
This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had with any company, to have multiple damages to a new property due to negligence and carelessness, the blatant disregard and disrespect, the anxiety and humiliation of the police coming to your home the day after closing in front of the entire neighborhood, and then having to now find quotes from a plumber to fix the plumbing damages so our home doesn’t flood or succumb to damage from moisture/water intrusion. Lowe’s really needs to do a better job with their customers, the hiring of their delivery teams, and they need to go above and beyond to right this wrong. Lowe’s definitely disappointed and fell below the bar on this one as a result of our delivery experience.

I wish I could give ZERO stars for my experience and the entire process. I could write a novel about all of the issues. It took 7 months for a door installation through Lowe's. 2 doors that were sent were damaged and then Lowe's lost the 3rd door and that's just the beginning. All I can say is Lowe's has no business in installing anything. DO NOT USE THEM. The level of incompetence was mind blowing. And, there is no one to speak to who actually could do something. I wish I would have read the previous reviews before I contact Lowe's. I would have been forewarned.

I bought a Gennie Model 7055 Garage Door Opener from Lowe's in January of 2021. I also bought the Lowe's Protection Plan. Approximately 2.5 years after purchase the door opener stopped working. The door opener is still covered under the manufacturer's warranty. However, Gennie will not repair/replace it without the receipt. I did not keep good records. I do not have the receipt. Lowe's, while they can information regarding the Protection Plan and Installation, cannot find the receipt. Without the receipt Gennie will not help. I've tried to file a claim under my Lowe's Protection Plan. Lowe's will not help me until the manufacturer's warranty has run out - 5 years from purchase date. I'll have to wait another 2.5 years before Lowe's will help. Therefore, I have a product covered under two separate warranties and neither company will honor it. The Lowe's Protection Plan is a waste of your money and resources.

I happened to see a sale associate (Paint) Mike and asked him for help. Although he was not able to find the exact hardware, he suggested a replacement. He also went further and adjusted the item to meet my need. Great service!

On September 9, 2024 I ordered approximately a thousand and something dollars worth of trex from Lowe’s in Rome NY and had it delivered. Somehow a couple of pieces didn’t get delivered so I went to Lowe’s and ordered the 2 pieces I needed and waited for a week and a half to have it delivered. They said it would be delivered on Friday so I waited all day Friday for the truck which never showed and no phone call. So I called and they said it would not be delivered until Sat. So again I waited for the truck to which no avail, the truck did not show up so again no call to say, "We are not coming." I had to call at which time the manager told me that the driver could not drive anymore because of Nys rules and that the driver didn’t get a lunch break, well ok Nys but a lunch break after I spent thousands of dollars I’m sorry.
So no delivery again. That’s three days no delivery and on Sunday when it did show up Ron the delivery driver took it off the truck and carried it to my house, put it on the pile and walked away. I said that, "I’m said something to your boss," and he stated ”there is nothing we can do”. I told Ron thank you and and have a good day at which he he kept walking and did not respond. Thanks Ron for the attitude and thank Lowe’s for nothing. That will be my last at Lowe’s in Rome and maybe even Lowe’s. Maybe Home Depot has better customer service.

We had this deck built by Lowes 10 years ago and this is what we have now, please look at the pics. Lowes will do nothing to help. We had to pay 2500 dollars to get it repaired. The men who did the work said the wood they used does not even look like pressure treated wood. Do not shop at lowes, unless you want garbage. It makes me click a star to submit this review. I've been harassed by Lowe's Pro card provided service for the last two months. I disputed a clearly fraudulent charge in mid-July (charge was at a store in Indiana-- I live near Seattle). I asked to be taken off their calling list while the charges were being disputed. No change. 2-3 calls a day for collection services. Then I called back today (9/26) and they told me the dispute claim I opened in mid-July was closed. Their explanations were a jumbled mess-- first they said, that I had agreed to close it and work directly with the merchant, then they said it had been cancelled, then they said the person who took it was in training. Wasted 30 minutes on the phone each time I called. I've asked for the claim dispute and process in writing. Was told the same thing as last time-- 7-10 business days. Still nothing in the mail. I've closed my account and will no longer use this service.

Lowe's in Oneonta, NY. We just bought a very expensive washer and dryer set along with delivery and installation. We also bought a lot of lumber for 2 projects. The installer broke our new dryer door because he assumed he knew how to remove it instead of reading the directions. Now I’m spending time trying to rectify it with either someone coming to fix it or getting a replacement. In the meanwhile- no dryer. We didn’t get the right lumber order either.

Lowe's uses a bank to process credit card payments that will double charge your bank on payments. They will then say their system does not allow them to back one of the charges off. Very detrimental to a good company like Lowe's.

I purchased a WD garage door with TorqueMaster lift in June 2021. It took 15-months for install (I was reimbursed $200 from Lowe's). A few months later, the small diameter manual open cables that control the flapper locks broke. Weeks went by before they were repaired. 5-months after the 1-year warranty, the TorqueMaster door opener failed. WD wanted another $350 to install a new upgrade that, according to WD rep and independent installers, are garbage. Conclusion: WD is not a reputable company because the managers know that the TorqueMaster springs are improperly engineered; therefore, should not be used, yet they continue to dupe customers into buying them. As far as I am concerned, WD is a ripoff company charging customers for something they know if defective when installed. Get the word out that the bottom line, not integrity or customer satisfaction, is the motto of the Wayne Dalton Company.

What does it take to get a working refrigerator from GE/Lowe's? And decent customer service? Our new refrigerator was delivered on July 29th. That evening it was discovered that the water dispenser/ice maker was not functioning properly, takes 2 minutes to dispense 8 oz of water vs. standard of less than 20 seconds. August 9th a service technician came out to the house to determine the issue. It was stated that a new valve was needed, and would be available August 20th. On the 12th of Aug., we were informed that the technician had closed out the ticket and no part had been ordered. Another service call was scheduled for the same technician to work on our frig on Aug. 19th. He never showed up.
A third service visit was scheduled. At our request, a different, seemingly more professional technician was sent to our home. This technician determined that it could be the line to the refrigerator (which worked on the previous refrigerator). Or it could be the filtration system is not working properly as the filter does not sit correctly. He recommended that the next step was for us to hire a plumber to replace the water line/connection. This costly repair also did not remedy the issue. Now GE claims to be sending us a new filter to see if that solves the problem.
NUMBER 1: They probably should have started by testing the filter on day 1. NUMBER 2: They have mentioned on more than 1 occasion the possible need to replace the freezer door. Please explain how that works. Does the water go through the door to get to the ice maker? NUMBER 3: Why was that so-called problem valve never replaced? GE finally sent us a new filter, recieved Sept. 10, with the hopes that would solve the problem described below. It did not. Water still flows at less than 8 oz. in 2 minutes. We are still trying to figure out how to get a fully functioning refrigerator, preferably from a company with reliable customer service. Lowe's does not take back faulty appliances after the 2nd day, however they tell you to contact the manufacturer to repair the appliance as it is under a supposed warranty.
Taking the time to contact the manufacturer negates that 2-day window to have the machine returned to Lowe's. Lovely little trick of theirs. The manufacturer, GE, wants to continue to send out technicians to "work" on an appliance that was faulty from the start. We have given up 4 days use of our kitchen for workers to possibly show up and pretend to work on the refrigerator. We are required to lock our dogs up for each visit and obviously can't use the kitchen requiring us to limit children's access as well. YES, we have contacted Lowe's who refuses to take the faulty appliance. YES, we have worked with the manufacturer. NO, we do not have a working refrigerator after 2 months. YES, we will be discontinuing payments on this faulty piece of equipment as we did not receive what we ordered and were charged for.

Angel and Santiago came to our to upgrade our dishwasher that we bought at Lowe's. It is a super quiet model. It is stainless steel on the front. The entry keys are on the top row, so they are not visible when the machine is on. I like that one racks is adjustable. Both of the gentlemen speak Spanish. They are a very efficient team. I hope they will be able to help us with future products.

This is a review for the terrible Warranty service through Lowe’s US Appliance Repair. My Whirlpool dishwasher, which I’ve only had for a year stop circulating water. They sent a technician who said he needed to order parts that has already been a week ago I called the number and they said that they had a hard time finding the parts and they’re gonna have them shipped to the technician. They don’t know when he’s gonna come out. This is awful Service. Got a five-year warranty, but I feel like it’s a joke. I’ll come back to do a follow up after these people come back out and fix it

This review is based on the customer service received at the Thomas Langston location in Winterville NC. My mother in law purchased a washing machine online and designated me as the pick up person. The pick up was curbside so I checked in online to let them know I was on the way. When I arrived at the store I pulled into one of the six curbside parking spots, by the way only two were available the other four were occupied by people inside the store shopping. (People are just lazy and rude these days.) After I parked I went online and let them know I was at the store and what spot I was in. After about 30 minutes of waiting and after seeing a Lowes employee bring a washer out and load it into the back of a truck without scanning a barcode or checking an ID, I decided to call the store.
When someone answered I informed them that I had been checked in and waiting for sometime, I heard them say in the background "they just left" and "you put it in the wrong truck". They assured me they were coming out with the washer. I waited another fifteen minutes then went in the store. A young lady named Ebonee said they were working on it and that there was a mix up. I know what the mix up was I stated. I asked to speak with a manager she said that she was their manager. I asked to speak to the store manager, he is not here I was told. I never received any apology for the wait or the mix up.
I went back to my truck and finally they came out with the washer. Ebonee came out with the young man and i showed her my barcode to scan, she said I already got it. Again they were not interested in me proving who I was, they just loaded up a $500.00 washing machine into my truck not knowing I truly was who I said I was. This particular Lowes has always had terrible customer service. I wish we had a Home Depot in town.

On 8/31/24 I ordered a stove, dishwasher & over the stove microwave during Lowe's Labor Day sale. I chose delivery, install & haul away. For my stove I picked 9/9/24 for delivery & the other two said “as soon as 9/7/24”, I had to pick date & time when installer called me. So, stove was delivered & set up on 9/9/24 & old one was taken away. I’ve made 8 phone calls & 2 trips to the store up til today 9/18/24 to find out the status of my microwave & dishwasher. I’ve gotten different answers when speaking w/ customer care, one time in store I spoke w/ appliance rep who asked if my appliances were being installed also & I said yes. He said that’s odd because someone else he helped ordered an appliance on 8/31 to be installed & they have no delivery status either. Next time a week later I went to store again, spoke w/ Cameron & he told me he’d take all my info & when his supervisor came in at 2 pm he’d speak with him & call me back. NO CALLBACK.
Now, the update I just got 9/18/24 (almost a month after I ordered) is that the truck carrying my appliances to the store got in an accident, appliances damaged. I was told that I now have to go into the store to resolve this. I asked WHY they couldn’t just reorder the appliances & deliver & install. She said this is the procedure when something like this happens. I told her I’ll be in the store tomorrow & she can tell them there’s going to be an explosion because I’ve been waiting almost a month, no updates, conflicting answers so I will NEVER AGAIN purchase any appliances from Lowe’s! I’ve been a customer over 20 years & am/was spending a lot of money on this order. They could care less! The least they could do/should do is offer me comparable appliances even if price is more, for the same price. Anything to try to keep a customer. But nothing…

I have purchased several appliances over the summer. It took me 30 days to figure out why the stacked washer/dryer is rattling and why my laundry room is like a steam room each time I come in. I live alone and can't move the washer dryer since it's stacked. I was able to slide behind and see that the vent is crushed and the hose has fallen into the vent. I also lifted the lid due to the room being so hot after I pressed cold wash and realized that there is no cold water. I usually have to call for 4-8 days to get a hold of anyone. They do not answer the phone 90% of the time and I have cancer and driving is too much most days.
I finally got a hold of someone 3-4 days after my 30 day purchase to fix it. They obviously didn't get the hose correct, or the vent. They told me they would schedule someone to fix it. No one ever called me back. After days of trying to contact them, almost a week, I called Lowe's Corporate and they told me, since I was past the 30 days they can't help me, and the lady rudely said is there anything else I can help you with? I could not believe it. In the past two years, with the store and the one in Vegas, with Carpet, ceramic tile floors, 4 appliances in this house alone and 3 in the last one. We have spent almost $40,000 in two years, we will never use LOWE's ever again. This is NOT the first time we have had issues with them. Can't show a picture of no cold water. This is 100% their fault and 30 or 60 days should not matter. How am I to know what's wrong? I can't move the thing to see what's done.

My wife and I have contracted with Lowe's in Weaverville, NC to install LVL floors throughout our home. We set the installation date more than a month after we signed the contract. Now, one day before the installation is to commence Lowe's calls us to inform us that they ordered (1) box of floor tiles instead of the needed 65 boxes. No one at the Weaverville Lowe's store was aware of the mistake until now! The level of incompetence at this location is legendary! If they can't get the materials in the original time frame, then hello Home Depot!

I had my tile removed and laminate flooring installed. Upon removing the tile a piece of tile shoot through and broke my sliding glass door. Also damaged was my cabinet which was also struck by the flying tile. Nothing was done to protect the inside of my home. I was immediately informed about the door not the cabinet, they did get someone out to repair the glass but denied me the cabinet. The story gets better. Soon after they paid for door they said the floor needed to be grinded and the cost was $2000 and it was not included in the floor prep. They claimed floor was off 1/2 inch and I refused to pay that. I got my own 8 foot level and it was only off 1/16 on a 8 foot span.
They stopped working till payment was complete. We talked them down to $750 as we had no floor and concrete was tough to walk on. According to the flooring manufacturers they allow 3/16 inches off for unlevel install and the warranty would still be in affect. They raised the price just to over the cost of the $800 glass repair. I was held hostage to pay the additional cost or they would not return. I also asked that the entire base molding be replaced on 1st floor to avoid different styles. I asked the sales person and store are you sure the base ordered is enough? The answer is no, I had to go in my truck and buy 85 feet of base and pay another $300 more to complete. Lowe's offered me $75 gift card to pay for my $200 cabinet repair which I denied. AS of today crickets on a reply.

The NEW Return Policy!!! If you didn't use a card, and you don't have a receipt you can NOT return anything, not even for a gift card or store credit unless you enter your phone number! They're trying to force people to enter their number so it can be sold to other solicitors once Lowe's is finished burning up your line. People have known for years that their numbers get sold for solicitation purposes and that's why we're not entering it. Pathetic way to keep even your loyal customers' money!

My husband and myself ordered and paid in full for 2 custom windows and so the nightmare begins. The windows were to be in Aug. 22, 2024, they are not in and pushed to due in date Sept. 9th. Well the 9th come and past no call to say windows are in. My husband and I tried to call Lowe's for 2 days and couldn't get anyone to answer the main line. I got a hold of them this morning and was told now my windows was pushed back again and would not be in till Sept 22, 2024. I then ask and what do I do when they aren't here then, and I got the runaround. I will not buy anything else from Lowe's, they do not care about their customers. Home Depot is a mile down the road.

Lowe’s has been an absolute nightmare. We placed an order for a fridge during the Fourth of July sale. Our delivery date has now been pushed back to the end of October an original delivery date of July 22nd. While I understand that they may not be able to get parts from their third party vendor, they should take accountability for offering wrong delivery dates, no resolutions and staff who are not honest with customers. They, at one point, told me my fridge had been delivered to Lowe’s and just needed shipped to us.
When they delayed again, I asked about this discrepancy and was literally told I was lied to. Next, they assured me there were 41 in stock and we would be receiving our fridge on our new scheduled delivery date. WRONG AGAIN! We are now pushed out until the end of October. Lowe’s has been an absolute joke of a store. They have lost my business both personally and professionally. I will shop elsewhere now and make it well known what Lowe’s represents. I have been shopping here for 40 years but this transaction of a promotion for free install on toilet and faucet was a rip-off. I will never go in the Lowe's again. I got messed over big time on a rebate they had going. I will never do business with them unless they make this right. My new kitchen cabinets and appliances will be purchased anywhere else. Home Depot is right across the street. You can not speak with anyone in the rebate department. I specifically went in the store to work with a store clerk so this wouldn't happen. They are using very deceptive practices here.

Just to let everyone know the newer return policies are much more restrictive. At the present it all depends on the manager on that day! However the policy is now that if they cannot find your receipt in their new system you will not get the refund! Of course this is very dependent on the clerk you have assisting you. If they don’t ask for additional info like phone number or other CC’s you may not get your refund. As well as two items the same but one not having the Bar code. Warning - if it does not have a bar code don't expect to return it!
I love this company and still recommend it! But beware of new policy changes and note they are going to a newer computer system that does not have your history of purchases. I live 2 hours away and always buy extra to be sure I can finish the job. Be sure you bring back your returns within the 90 day window. Was asking for in-store credit but was told they no longer do that, yet funny thing was yesterday they did it! Different managers 31 Aug- 1 Sep? In the past 3 years I have spent thousand at this store and still support it! Just beware!

Bought a Bosch dishwasher on line from Lowe's. They didn’t trouble themselves to disclose that while they would be happy to haul away the old machine and install the new one (for a fee), the customer is responsible for deinstalling the old unit. Neither of their delivery guys spoke a word of English. And they showed up with a $500 piece of crap machine instead of the $1200 machine I purchased. Canceled the sale and bought the machine from a local appliance store. Did I pay more? Yes, I did. But the local guys do the whole job and they speak English. Avoid Lowe's.

The Lowe's Protection Plan pamphlet is misleading and disingenuous. They need to be changed. Assurant will not recognize your protection plan reference number until 72 hours after you purchase the plan. You cannot make a maintenance or service claim, nor can you claim 50% off for performance and care items until Assurant recognizes your reference number. The Lowe's Protection Plan pamphlet (for all products) should clearly state that Assurant will not recognize any claim within 3 business days of the protection plan purchase. In addition, the pamphlet should clearly state that customers will not be able to speak to a representative from Assurant and must submit and/or complete any claims online.

Omg! Where do I begin... I'm not one to write negative reviews BUT this one is a must! My husband is disabled, uses a cane. That day was on the motorized wheel chair. We were getting lumber, and the employees were passing by did not acknowledge us at all! Never offered assistance. I had to load them by myself. 24 boards! I tried pushing the cart myself but it was too heavy. Employees still continuing to ignore. We finally had to go and speak with management to get assistance. As we headed back to where we had our lumber the employees looked at us like "How dare us talk to the manager". I thought Home Depot was bad with assistance, but I was wrong..Lowe's in Corpus Christi is the worst when it deals with customer courtesy/assistance!

We bought a brand new Frigidaire fridge in January of 2022, and have had nothing but issues with it. We've gone through 2 service calls under the manufacturer's warranty, and we're on our 2nd or 3rd service call under Lowe's extended warranty. Our service provider tried to deem the fridge unrepairable, however, Lowe's is making him replace parts that were replaced back in June. I'd honestly never buy another home appliance from them or Frigidaire again. The customer service is awful and their products are no better.

On 9/27/23 I hired Lowes to re-roof my house $10,014.09 down payment / financed $32,000. I Received email confirming install date of 10/4/2023. 1 1/2 months later on 11/22/23 the Subcontractor finally shows up and tears off my old shingles. Lowes informs me that the shingles were “accidently” not ordered and would not be delivered for a week or two. It rains on my unprotected roof from 11/29/23 until 12/4/23 when install resumes. I call Lowes and I am assured, in writing, that Lowes would send out a water remediation company to asses the water damages. I inform Lowes about mold smell, water damage, damage to my house from sub-contractor my roof was grossly over measured by several hundred sq feet. Not only did I pay for the extra materials, I paid for the labor to install them, and I want a refund.
Lowes reassures me in writing: once again that Lowes would take care of me, that a claim would be opened, a supervisor would contact me, and that Lowes would take care of my issues. I make numerous calls to Lowes over the next 3 to 4 months, Lowes keeps stringing me along, telling me they will take care of the problems they caused at my house. 2/23/24 local install team: Informs me that the work is completed and there is nothing else that I am entitled to. I file on Lowes Bond, a Lowes claim agent tells me that she is sending a mold company out to asses my situation, in writing, she tells me to cut my wall open, which exposes my whole house to mold, Then 2 days later she says she is not sending anyone, My wife and I are forced to sleep in our RV due to bad mold contamination in the house

I'm a homeowner and we were shopping for a stove and refrigerator, I could not believe how difficult it was to get any help, let alone just to purchase them was a big ordeal. The Issaquah store is a dying store and every time I go there I say to myself, I can't stand the vibe of this store, the people who work here seem to stand there doing nothing and certainly don't know anything. I also went in to get an oil-based paint for the garage doors, I asked for help 3 times and when I got it, he had no idea what he was doing and told me I should go to Sherwin-Williams paint store. I felt I needed to share this with others, I always end up at Home Depot which is a store that prides itself on its customer satisfaction.

As a contractor, Lowe's has been my go-to source for well over a dozen years. In the past few years they have degraded noticeably. Starting with too few employees to actually help customers to locate items (or to even check out) to now requiring veterans to SCAN their ID to get a discount (apparently it's not enough to just have an employee verify it anymore). Sure, I'll just give Lowe's all the info on my driver's license... What could possibly go wrong? Ever hear of hackers or identity theft? Sorry Lowe's, you can keep your vastly reduced list of items available for discounts. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

To get my windows installed, Lowe’s scheduled an appointment for me after three months, which felt like a long wait. When the installer arrived, he discovered that one of the windows was the wrong size. He said I would need to call the company to order the correct size and set up another appointment for installation. When I asked when the next appointment could be, he shocked me by saying it could be another three months! When I refused to wait, he called Lowe’s to figure out a solution. They instructed him to resize the window if possible and install it that day. He seemed to blame me for the situation and made things difficult.
Although he eventually installed the window, less than a week later, the wall underneath started to deteriorate due to a leak, even though the house was recently repaired and painted. When I complained to Lowe’s, they apologized but told me I would need to apply caulk myself to fix the issue. On top of that, there was also a problem with the door they installed. My advice is to avoid using their services for any work!

I am very unhappy with Lowe's 3 Extended Warranty Protection Plan! I have purchased the Extended Warranty for that reason to EXTEND the 1 year warranty from the manufacturer to 4 years!! I called to get service and I was told the extended warranty is NOT an EXTENED warranty. It runs parallel to the manufacturers warranty I was told by Mitch the manager of Lowes Protection Plan. So when you go to purchase a product from LOWES they lie about the 3 year extended warranty. It is really just 2 years. So don't buy an appliance extended warranty appliance don't usually break down in 2 years it is usually after that time. Extended Warranties are a waste of MONEY!!

I can't say the company is bad, by the Lowes in Jackson, MS promised to delivery washer and dryer set today, August 23, and in the day to be delivered, they called said, "They had some bad news", they did not have in stock the washer, but could deliver the dryer, we said, okay deliver the dryer, after waiting for hours, I called they said it would be Wednesday, next week, August 28. All in our Personal opinion: Use anyone else for install of countertops. Biggest rip off I've ever encountered. We were taken advantage of and none of this seemed ethical at all. Slick fast food style contracts that bind the consumer whether they do the work or not. Watch out! They did not follow schedule they promised us, fit other bigger jobs in before ours taking a whopping 7 week hiatus until they finally decided they would come out on their own schedule-not agreed upon. They claimed they could come out and "template the project." After we waited for them to commit within the time frame they told us they would. They just couldn't manage to get their lazy behinds out here to do our small little ranky dank dank job.
We had other merchants/vendors lined up following the schedule they promised us but they no showed, no called and left voice mails at times when they were told I would be at work. Called them back and you guessed it - they were closed or didn't leave a message at all. The initial day their sales team came out they took $1750 as their down payment. Which was half of the total job. They never came out, emailed or did anything but kept the $1750.
"Erin" Granite Transformations is the one that Lowe's contracts their countertop jobs out to. What a real ** liar when it came to what she claimed with regards to what she told the the bank and the Lowe's team when it came to stealing our money. They never came as promised. The job had to be canceled in order for us not to lose money on other merchants lined up behind them. They refunded $1050 and KEPT 700 for their restocking fees. What a joke. I had proof the counters were never "templated", so they no product was ordered, modified, moved, or delivered nor did they ever come out. NEVER finance them to do your job.
Don't trust Lowe's or their second party "Granite Transformations" - They will breach their contract with you and keep 1/3 of your money for no product nor service other than lip service. Poor business practice. IN our opinion this was as unethical as it gets. So glad they never did the job, with practices like this can you imagine how sloppy their work would have been?

Charged me to remove old tile but when they arrived they wanted additional money to rent equipment. They removed the toilet but could not put it back. Never use Lowe’s again. If I could give 0 stars I would. It took over 3 months and five dishwashers before Lowe's finally delivered one that worked, and to add unbelievable insult to my injury, after spending over 20 hours trying to get a working dishwasher, they FAILED AND REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY FOR THE DEFECTIVE DISHWASHERS I had to return. You heard that correctly. I paid for 3 dishwashers, ended up with one. It was (and still is) the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
First they delivered the wrong dishwasher (a better version than what I purchased and I now regret informing of them of their mistake). The second one was a Whirlpool (defective motherboard). The third one the same Whirlpool make and model (also defective motherboard). At this point I looked up the Whirlpool make and model on the internet only to learn that the defective motherboard is known and widely reported (Lowe's not only sold it but pushed the sale of it -- hmm). I was so frustrated at this point, I purchased a more expensive dishwasher (GE Profile -- ironically, the same make and model they mistakenly delivered to the first go around) and I purchased the warranty. Guess what??? You betcha, it was defective too.
The plumber (hired through Lowe's) said there was a crack in the motor or something like that and it leaked and therefore had to be returned too. At this point, I had been handwashing my dishes for over two months (I gave away my working dishwasher to someone in need) and I had spent every free Saturday I had up at Lowe's trying to get a working dishwasher. For dishwasher #5, I upgraded again - this time to a KitchenAid. And while it works, it too, 5 dishwashers and over 3 months to get one that did. But that is not the end of the story, because despite being assured to the contrary, Lowe's failed to credit my Lowe's credit card for the dishwashers that had to be returned. And, despites representations to the contrary, this failure continued to this very day when the failure became a refusal.
The incompetence is so extreme I think they are doing this on purpose hoping I will just give up. I have been fighting this for over a year!!!! No one disputes that I have paid for three dishwashers and only have one. Everyone I spoke to said they would fix it, but it the end, Lowe's literally refused to refund my money and said I would have to file a dispute with the credit card company. Now I have to wait another 60 days to get a response from my Lowe's credit card. If that does not work, I will have to file a lawsuit -- just to get my money back that no one disputes that I am owed.
THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST RETAIL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. This is so wrong and I am so angry. No one should have to go through this. It is ridiculous. No respect for my time or my patronage. Lowe's has been in the news for allowing thieves to steal from their stores without consequence and yet this is how they treat their paying customers. I guess they are trying to recoup their loss from the shoplifters from their paying customers. To me, this is corporate greed on full display and if they are banking on me giving up, they bet on the wrong middle aged woman. Do yourself a favor and buy your appliances somewhere else because the headache and loss I experienced I would not wish on anyone. Lowes seems to go out of their way to screw over their customers.

I lost $300 due to their mistake. I asked for exterior paint/primer. I paid my nephew to paint the trim, he got the front done, I realized I needed more paint. Went to check exactly what it was and saw that it was interior! Went back, they sold me the right paint at a discount for my trouble and said they'd submit the request for labor. No one called, I called back and they said they wouldn't pay it even though they admitted their mistake. They said the paint discount was their resolution. That was only $30, and the store manager did not tell me that. I went through 4 different "managers" and got nowhere. I'm living on social security and had to save up to get this done and now I have to have it redone and can't afford it. I'm very upset about it.

On Saturday August 10, 2024 I decided to leave my loyalty behind with Home Depot and give Lowe's a try. My main goal was not to spend the entire afternoon in choosing simple appliances and get what I want/needed; dishwasher and a washing machine (new). No open boxes. I was greeted by a nice young lady name Karema, wonderful and allowed me to make a decision with no rush. She got exactly what I needed and advised me my order will be delivered Monday August 12, 2024 between 8am and 12pm. Got my warranty as well for 5 years because I hate changes and will like to stick with one company.
Once the final day had arrived of my purchase delivery (Monday-August 12, 2024) the delivery guys already knew in advance that my laundry was on a second floor. They had no issues on the changes as long as I purchased the "hose kit" of the washer installation so they prevent any water leaking. The machine was placed the correct way and was placed on a first cycle to make sure that everything was functioning the correct way. While I was getting my dishwasher situated on the first floor, I started to noticed water coming from the ceiling vent system, I rushed in to the second floor and what I noticed was outrageous and unbelievable. Water was everywhere and was filtering through the roof on my first floor. I contacted Lowe's, 3rd party delivery company (XDT) and LG.
XDT was contacted at 407-241-0370 and spoke with manager/worker under the name of Marvin del Valle at ** in which went to the house, filmed the damages and advised that will be contacting me back in regards to the damages but installation was done properly and that the front loader seal was the damage and LG needed to be contacted for the damages in my property that but will be in touch with me to continue the process. In which he never reached out or picked the phone up again. LG was contacted and they were very apologetic about the situation and send me a technician but on the honest side, I purchased from Lowe's and this machine was not even 12 hrs or 1 hr in my property. This should be Lowe's taking care of this situation.
Lowe's created a property case damage claim #** in which we just found out was close today while we are waiting on what they stated to wait “a call back” that never happened (no reason provided of my case close). We just called at 1800-445-6937 08/14/2024 – Today and was assisted by a nice lady that was able to reopen the case of the property/personal damage. My lost are not only property, personal but emotional have been very aggravating and tiring. The customer service on the store #1598 goes beyond horrible, they never pick up the phone and if they do, they put you on mute and ignore you until they either hang up or you get tired of holding on mute.
Had to go physical and find out they never had a picture of my box of my washer only the dishwasher coming out of the warehouse, in other words my washing machine was used, looked used and the way the XDT brought it was very suspicious. Had to turn off all of my electrical and it’s been 2 days since, fridge was damage, food as well, my AC had to be turned off due to this issue. Light fixtures flickering and first floor roof water damage.
Conclusion, not a happy customer and need assistance ASAP. I have attached my receipts, pictures of the calls, video of my water damages. It's 08/14/2024 and will like my issue to be resolved asap. It’s been 2 days already with the running around of the call back that never happens from XDT to Lowe's and no one is liable for the situation. Now nobody is responsible for my loss and damages. This would be my email #2 trying to solve this issue and no one had the decency to guide me. All they refer to is the 3rd party company you guys (Lowe's) hired to solve an issue that was never caused by me. Social media will be my next resource.

Experienced a recent Lowe’s on-line purchase where product was on sale a week later. Called the number for price match and was told that they couldn’t apply another “discount” because I used my Lowe’s card and received 5% already. I could however return the item which would require pickup at my home and repurchase online for the sale price + the 5% for using my card. If I could give 0 stars I would, absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I called ahead before going to the store about a “lifetime warranty” Craftsman product. I was told to bring the 279.00 tool along with my id and they would happily exchange it for me. I told them the exact tool, model number, everything over the phone as well as telling them I did not have a receipt. I was still advised to bring the tool with my id in for the swap. About 15 minutes later, I arrive at the Exeter location to do the swap and I am told that I need my receipt to do the exchange. I relayed that I spoke to someone about it already and they told me all I needed was my id, the mod got the person I spoke with and she told them that’s exactly what she told me to do. Then he told me that the item “craftsman” wasn’t under a lifetime warranty. And encouraged me to reach out to craftsman.

Purchased refrigerator and was damaged when delivered. Between scheduling a pick up and receiving a refund we are 30 days into this. Purchased the same refrigerator again and Lowe’s scheduled a delivery 2 days after and now receiving a phone call that they don't have and don’t know when they will be able to deliver. Not interested in a refund but to wanting us to a wait until they get the appliance so they can deliver. A date is yet to be determined.

I have attempted to order items through my local Lowes in Silverthorne which they show as in stock online when there are none in store Other stores have item but they will not get the other store(s) to send to them, leaving me to drive over 100 miles. After numerous conversations I observe: 1. Customer service is a joke. IF they bother to answer the phone after a dozen attempts, you are likely to get hung up on 3x (Yes that is what happened). 2. Finding an associate to help you is like a treasure hunt; you are looking for a rarity but may be hunting for years.

Updated on 08/29/2024: 08/29/2024, no installer arrived to complete the installation. I called the corporate office of BP-LLC and spoke with Molly (14:25-14:33). She placed me on hold for several minutes and later returned to the line. She told me the installer had issues with his auto insurance and the local office would contact me to schedule another installation appointment. At 14:33 hours, Brianna (BP-LLC) called me and told me the installer (Mario) had medical (carpal tunnel) issues and would not be able to complete the installation today (08/29). Another installation date was scheduled 09/05/2024.
Let the consumer beware, BP-LLC has poor customer service. Their installers have not been dependable (even though I have arranged and rearranged my schedule to accommodate three installers) and the workmanship of only one who came to the worksite was unsatisfactory. Each time I called to express my dissatisfaction, apologies were given, but my product (Heartland Soho Shed) that I purchased and paid for 08/03/2024 has not been correctly installed. And, to add insult to injury, I have received multiple electronic requests from BP-LLC to review and complete eSignature documents regarding the installation completion.
Origingal Review: 08/03/2024, I purchased a Heartland Soho Shed (with installation) from Lowe's Home Improvement (LHI, Union City, CA). LHI designated Backyard Products, LLC (BP-LLC) to provide the installation services.
08/09/2024, the installer provided BP-LLC arrived to complete the installation. The installer worked self-selected hours for three days and departed without completing the installation (his poor workmanship included incomplete caulking and painting, exposed/protruding nail and screw points.on the shed's interior, incomplete shelving, et. al.). The installer did not clean up the worksite (leaving used paint rollers, nails, sawdust, etc. scattered around the location).
08/12/2024, I contacted LHI Customer Services to express my dissatisfaction. The customer service representative (Curtis) was helpful and initiated a work order to help resolve the issue. He also said BP-LLC would contact me within three business days to resolve the issue.
08/16/2024, after not receiving any contacts from BP-LLC, I called them and eventually spoke with Brianna. Another installer has been scheduled to come and complete the installation (and correct the previous installer's poor workmanship. Hopefully, this matter will be resolved soon, as the exposed/protruding points of nails and screws are a definite safety hazard prohibiting me from using the product that I purchased.

They are poor about responding to calls. We purchased a hot water heater with a faulty valve. They diagnosed it over the phone as our fault water pressure. It was not our fault. So we paid installation and turned around and paid to have pressure release valve replaced. I canceled my Lowe's card. I will never go back.

To say we regret purchasing our new appliances from Lowe's is an understatement. First, our refrigerator was delivered with a huge dent in the back. We were told the delivery guys could connect the new gas range, the delivery guy told us he tried, but couldn't disconnect the gas line because it was glued, and to call a plumber. We called a plumber who charges us $125 to literally twist the line. The gas line wasn't glued. When I called Lowe's back to complain, I was told that gas line connections aren't offered in my area and the delivery guy shouldn't have even tried. (Meanwhile, it didn't say anything about that when ordering the appliances). The delivery guys took part back with them that we had paid for. And then our new washing machine started making a rattling sound.
Lowe's had a repair company come out who said the slider was off, he "fixed" it, only for the entire washing machine to go down later that day, to the point where we had to unplug it otherwise it wouldn't stop filling with water. Now we're being told that nobody can come out for another 6 days. We're a family of 7, having no washing machine for 6 days is unacceptable. These units were a gift from my mom since one of our children was diagnosed with cancer and she wanted to do something to make our days a little easier. Instead, thanks to Lowe's and their awful customer service, everything has been more stressful.

Visited Lowe’s hardware in Sanford NC yesterday looking for a new dryer not knowing what type of dryer I wanted your assistant store manager Allison ** went above and beyond the call of duty to help me. She showed me my options and was very knowledgeable in explaining to me the differences in each dryer. Not really thinking I would find what I needed but, she was so good in helping me. I walked out very pleased with the order of my dryer. Customer service like she provided is far and few between this day and time.

I would not recommend shopping at Lowe’s for any major purchase. We ordered a cooktop on May 28 and waited four weeks for it to be delivered on June 27. We had to order the cooktop early so the kitchen cabinets could be properly designed and the countertop could be properly prepared (openings cut) to accept the cooktop as each model has specific dimensions. We had the cooktop installed and a licensed electrician connect the electric. The cooktop began to get warm and then shut off and would not work at all.
The electric was tested and is correct. When we tried to return the cooktop to Lowe’s to purchase another unit we were told that it was beyond the 48-hour return period and they would not take it back. I was told to “call Samsung, maybe they will help.” It will cost me over $700 to learn this lesson. I hope that others learn from my mistake and shop elsewhere! I am ashamed to have spent the money that I have at Lowe’s over the years and will stop as of today, I hope others will too!

I have been a loyal Lowe’s customer for years, but my recent experience at the San Antonio location on W Loop 1604 N has left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. This was, without a doubt, the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. I recently purchased a 20V Axial Blower/Trimmer Combo Kit from this location. I was excited to use my new equipment, but when I opened the box at home, I found a broken, used Ryobi weed whacker instead of the brand-new product I paid for. It was clear that someone had scammed the store by returning this damaged item, and somehow, it ended up being restocked and sold to me without any inspection.
Naturally, I returned to the store the next day to resolve the issue, expecting a straightforward exchange or refund. However, I was met with hostility and rudeness from the store manager. Instead of apologizing and rectifying the mistake, the manager was dismissive, unprofessional, and outright rude. Not only did they refuse to accept the return, but they also made me feel like I was the one at fault. The lack of basic customer service skills and courtesy was appalling.
I am now stuck with a completely useless product that I didn’t even purchase. This experience has shattered my trust in Lowe’s, and I can no longer recommend this store to anyone. If this is how Lowe’s handles customer concerns—by selling defective products and treating customers with disrespect—then I’d rather take my business elsewhere.
I strongly advise anyone considering shopping at this location to be extremely cautious. Check your products thoroughly before leaving the store, because if something goes wrong, you might not get the help or respect you deserve. I will be escalating this issue to corporate, but I wanted to warn others about the deplorable service at this Lowe’s location.

Do yourself a favor and don't patronize the Lowe's Kitchen Design store in Leander, Texas. For over one year the team at the Lowe's Kitchen Design studio screwed up time after time. Custom-made cabinets arrived in the wrong dimensions, delaying the project for months, the spice drawer was not the one we custom ordered and the glass panels for the kitchen cabinet doors were not what we ordered.
We spoke to the assistant manager on duty and asked for her to look into the situation for us. We never had a response. We contacted her two more times before sending an email to the store manager. No response. The whole time the team who helped us with the project only deflected and refused to accept responsibility for their numerous mistakes. Patronize another business!

Bought a Media Freezer, it was delivered and installed. I have two temperature monitoring systems which both read temperatures from -2 to 30+ at least 3 times a day. Alarms go off every time. It's less than 2 weeks old. I notified Lowe's, they said they would send someone out to fix or get replaced. I Set up a time to be home (I work and they come during day and give an 8 hour window). He came, said it was not working and will be replaced.
I called Lowe's the next day and now they tell me I have to call Media, set up for someone else to come out and look at it. If He says it's broken then they will start the process to replace. Not sure why this person wasn't sent out the first time. So I will have to set up another time, or have someone at home again, to have another person evaluate, In the meantime, the freezer will be not working for more than two weeks. This was a NEW freezer that Lowe's delivered. I would never do business with them again. It's unfortunate because over the years we have spent thousands of dollars with them but now I realize they do not stand behind what they sell or care about customer service.

Buyer beware. Lowe's staff, mill department employees up to management, are not qualified to complete orders through their red vest system to order products. Purchased 4 doors from Lowe's in April 2023. Two doors arrived and were installed by a private contractor without problem. One door had to be reordered due to errors and was installed a few months later. 15 months from initial order, final door still not correct. After 5 attempts Lowe's has been unable to order the correct door and complete this order. (1. garage door ordered like others with 6 windows, 2. arrived damaged, 3. interior and exterior colors reversed, 4. interior/exterior color incorrect and size error, 5. wrong size.)
Final two attempts, management came to the house to ensure order was inputted correctly, yet still no success. We continued to order through Lowe's because the door was tied up into the initial order and Lowe's assured us the next time would be correct. It has been a nightmare. Despite the amount of time and patience this order required of us over the year, Lowe's felt a refund with no additional compensation for our troubles was sufficient. They claim a commitment to their customers, but don't back it up.

Lowe’s installation services for my flooring was an absolute disaster. I have uneven tiles, missing grout, two colors of grout. They destroyed my furniture and they want to send the same installer out to do the repairs. I don’t want repairs. I want the floor done right the first time. I paid $12,000 for installation. I feel so sick they won’t help me at all. It’s the worst company I’ve ever dealt with and I’m 60 years old.

Tile job disaster. Ripped up twice only because I saw how horrible the job was. Otherwise they pass it off to many as professional work. 6 months later had to switch to laminate because installers were incompetent and could not lay tile. Trashed my house with dust and damage. Lowe's is not on your side. Once they take your money you are on your own with the installers.

I am thoroughly appalled by the customer service and handling of my issue with Lowe’s. Over the past year, we have been unknowingly accruing interest on a purchase due to a significant error with their credit card payments. We have been diligently paying $90 per month, specifically to pay off a lawn mower that is on a promotional plan to ensure we avoid interest charges. However, we also made a one time full payment for a dishwasher purchase (not on a promotional plan) last year, which was incorrectly applied to the lawn mower’s balance due to Lowe’s internal policies on "special allocation requests."
Despite paying off the dishwasher’s full amount within days of the charge posting to the card, Lowe’s has charged us over $100 in interest and we still have over $300 left on the account that continues to accrue interest. This is due to the fine print that requires customers to call for special requests for payment allocation—something we were not informed about at any point. It’s very clear in our payment history that we consistently pay $90 monthly with a one time payment matching the EXACT amount of the dishwasher.
When I escalated this issue to a manager named Brian, I was told that nothing could be done to rectify the situation. It’s disappointing and frustrating to see such a blatant disregard for customer intentions and clear payment history. This experience has been a stark reminder that customer service is not a priority for Lowe’s. With many competitors offering better service, I will be taking my business elsewhere and advising others to do the same.

Purchased a refrigerator freezer on Sunday and during the purchase process the delivery date was set for Wednesday. That was the earliest available so OK, just have to live out of coolers for three more days. Took Wednesday off work to receive the new refrigerator. They never gave me a time but said they would call. Got to be about 3 pm and I never heard from Lowes so I called the delivery number. Discovered my delivery was not for another week. Gotta be kidding me? Went back to Lowes, canceled the purchase, went to local appliance dealer, bought what l needed and got it delivered in 2 days. If you buy from Lowes, if you don't ask the right questions, you get screwed. Instead of asking day of the week for delivery, better ask date of delivery. Better make sure you know the year of delivery too. So incredibly frustrating.

First of all the first night I went into the store no one was around so I left. The next night I had to find and ask for help. I told the salesperson that I needed it delivered after six and he said no problem. They delivered it the next morning after me repeatedly texting and calling them back and telling them no one was home. They couldn’t get my refrigerator delivered as promised. I canceled the order, when speaking with the store manager he seemed unconcerned and offered no explanation nor an apology. That was a big purchase for me but I guess my business meant nothing as the store doesn’t care whether they sell something or not.

An appointment was set up for a flooring specialist come to my home between 8-12, then they changed it to 12-2. I received a call at 1:40 to be told running late at least another 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 Longer. This appointment was made over a week ago. I then called the Lowe’s in Tarpon Spring, FL to speak with a manager. Explained getting flooring for whole house 1850 square feet and was told would check to make sure they would be there within a hour and 45 minutes, advised I canceled by this time. At that point he said fine and hung up. My husband is a loyal customer and a veteran. Can’t believe that he lost a long time customer and approximately a $10-15 thousand job. Was also looking for to get a total kitchen remodel once floors were installed. Guess that manager gets paid with or without customers, he couldn’t care less about satisfaction of a customer Home Depot will be getting my business!!!!

I would like to share a very poor customer service experience I had at your store located on Elmsley Dr. in Greensboro, NC. I was returning an extra gutter elbow that I didn't need to complete the job (Item # 845005). The customer service person could not find my purchase in the system and I explained that my CC had been compromised and that it was probably on the old card that I no longer have. The item was in perfect condition and the very same as the one on the shelf in the store. (I had to retrieve the same item from the gutter department because I could see that the bar code sticker was difficult to read, so I figured it was best to get an identical item so she could scan it. She was able to scan the item but again said they had to purchase a record and refused to accept the return. I left the gutter elbow with the customer service desk and explained I had no use for it.
I've been a Lowe's customer for over 30 years and have renovated two houses most of the materials, appliances, and hardware came from Lowe's. I'm sure I've spent close to $50,000 over the years. After this experience with an item priced at $6.28 I don't think I'll be returning to any Lowe's stores again. I headed to Home Depot, which was a mile down the road, and did my shopping there. Why a company would treat a lifelong customer this way is beyond my comprehension.

I bought and had installed a dishwashing machine 2-3 years ago. They damaged my cabinets. Try to mount it and where they mounted it broke the wood because they barely got the screws in the wood. Then the washer has been leaking out the side where a mounting bolt wasn’t tight enough. It’s been leaking for some time and my floor is rotted because of it. The leak was under insulation and slow so it wasn’t noticeable. This leak is clearly not my fault but Lowe’s will do nothing for me.

Purchased a washer and Dryer July 7, 2024. Opted for Lowe's over HD since delivery was sooner, but same price. W and D arrived as promised on July 11, 2024. Both damage beyond use, I was asked if I wanted to keep them at a discount, you could not turn the dryer's drum, and the washer had the control dash damaged as well, both damage during loading with a fork lift. Crew took them back, they informed me that Lowe's was going to call later to plan a new delivery. Lowe's never call, I made contact on July 12, pm. The assured me a new delivery that next Monday July 15 and an Appeasement compensation for the inconvenience caused. But I had to wait for the order to be fulfilled.
Today is July 29, no representative from Lowe's or their Delivery XDT team called. After 5 representatives today I was informed that the notes that were supposed to keep with my complaints were at no time indicating any wrongdoing from Lowe's and nothing about an Appeasement. I asked to review the tapes from my phone calls, and they don't have anything. Absolutely the WORST customer CARE in the industry.

We ordered and paid in full for storm doors ($3k) one month ago and every time we call no one can work the system to give us a status. Two weeks ago the Lowe's person told US to call Larson ourselves so they "did not have to call them and then call us." The doors were made and AT LOWE'S but apparently there is only one person named "Tony" who can look at the system! This is the second time we have tried to use Lowe's for a project and the second time we could not get our product after paying in full as they demanded! Do not buy appliances from Lowe’s! They sell you warranties that they do not intend to provide. They use service company that never comes when they’re scheduled and will not do anything to help. They use Sears service center whose techs are rude. They will schedule day & time to come and then never show up. One of their techs doesn’t even have tools to do repairs but they schedule him to come anyway. Have had to use 6 vacation days thus far and they still haven’t shown up to do the repair. Lowe’s won’t help. I’ll never buy appliances from them again and suggest you don’t either because they do this for both deliveries and repairs.

Online ordering has suggested equipment that is not correct for items being ordered. Example: I ordered a Whirlpool, icemaker that was suggested through the autogenerated list of items that can be installed in the refrigerator I was purchasing/ordering at the same time. Turns out the icemaker was not the right one for the refrigerator. I am not a refrigerator expert and relied on the generation of correct info. I’m dissatisfied & disappointed with my overall experience of that order as I wound up having to return the ice maker on installation day because it could not be installed, reorder a correct one over the phone with local store manager then found out the ice maker would not be in for 2 weeks.
I never got an email confirmation letting me know the order was placed and the manager/employee was rude & short with me about the whole experience. I will avoid shopping at Lowe’s and opt for Home Depot or other home improvement store options. This was one of the worst online & customer service experiences I’ve ever had!

Really had a horrible experience.. I ordered a washer dryer stack combo. First installer said he couldn't install due to a broken water valve and he pointed I hired a plumber and fixed what he pointed to it was the wrong valve. Turns out that if the installer had any repair experience they would have known how to turn the water off because the valve was not broken. They came to install my washer dryer four times and said they couldn't install it every time. The last time the plug was broken on the washer dryer I said, "Stick a fork in me. I'm done." I canceled the order and I'm getting my washer dryer through ABT and the only reason I went with Lowe's is because they had next day delivery 2 weeks later is when they gave me a washer with a broken plug. It was a nightmare and horrifying experience.

DO NOT BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM LOWE'S! The company they contract with for delivery is unreliable and has HORRIBLE customer service! We bought an expensive refrigerator from them instead of Home Depot ONLY because they said they could deliver on Sunday as opposed to later in the week when we were out of town. Our refrigerator died so we were desperate to move the food before we lost it all. They originally scheduled for between 9:30 am and 1:00 pm. That morning they notified us it would be 10:30 am - 2:30 pm. We left briefly and the driver called and said he would be there at 9:30. Apparently they can’t communicate with each other. We asked him to give us 15 minutes to get home and he never showed up. We called repeatedly until 11 am when we finally got a person who told us too bad they released the driver and can’t force him to come back and he refused. What???
It was THEIR miscommunication as they changed the time to 10:30 at the earliest and we relied on that. Their previously stated policy was that they give a 15 minute grace period if they get there early. They could not have cared less that we have food sitting out spoiling in that we have no refrigerator or freezer. I will NEVER buy anything from Lowe’s again. It is their contractor and their responsibility. The contractor is rude and the driver LIED and told his boss that he was told we wouldn’t be ready for 45 minutes so he dropped us. That was a complete lie. He just wanted to go home early. Lowe’s need to find a new delivery company if they want to keep their customers. I won’t buy so much as a nail from them in the future.

In May of 2024, I purchase a John Deere riding mower from Lowes in West Chester, Ohio. At the time of purchase the salesperson stated there is a $300 rebate on the product, just go to the website, enter the info and receive a rebate. THE REBATE IS A SCAM. I entered the info as instructed, got a response back stating the purchase did not meet the qualifications for the rebate and to resubmit. Ok, I looked and it did meeting the qualifications, I resubmitted. Two weeks later, got the same notification back. They are just hoping you will go away and not have to pay the rebate. Went to the store, no help - other than to give me the Lowes customer service number. I call the number, message states to sent e-mail with all applicable information to Zendesk e-mail. I do that early July, still nothing. LOWE'S REBATE IS A SCAM, good luck.

DON’T ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE!!!! I made a large order as I’m making renovations. They not only put a hold on my account for the FULL AMOUNT, then as the shipments are occurring from the separate vendors they HOLD THOSE TOO UNTIL THEY SHIP! ONCE THEY SHIP THEY CHARGE YOU AGAIN!!!! I understand the hold will fall off but in the mean time, my renovation budget is decreased by all of these holds and all these transactions are being flagged as FRAUD due to the amount of transactions that have been processed. SO now due to all the transactions my account has been frozen and I now also need to wait for a new debit card. All customer service says is this is the process and there is “nothing I can do”! I can’t believe this is the process of a large outfit!

I ordered a custom door at the beginning of June 2024. Door will not be in the store until July 30th and then they have to contact me to install. The contractor installation company came out 3 minutes and did measurements and then left charging 1600 to install a standard front single door. No side lights involved. Nothing. Overpriced overcharged delayed service to take place. Worst customer service and support. Don’t ever use them!

I placed an order on 7/16/24 for a new refrigerator to be delivered to our business. I was assured it would be delivered within 24 hours, and it would be delivered after we open between the hours of 10AM and 2PM. On 7/17/24 the following day, I received a call stating their delivery truck had broken down and they would not be able to deliver until the next day, 7/18/24. I asked the dispatcher, Dani, to please confirm it would be the same time window of 10AM to 2PM for delivery on 7/18/24 which she confirmed.
On 7/19/24 I received a call at 9:30AM from the delivery driver saying he was at the business for the delivery. I told him that nobody would be at the business to take the delivery until 10AM, just as I had told Lowes when we ordered the fridge, as well as when speaking to Dani the dispatcher about rescheduling the appointment the previous day. The delivery driver decided to leave, and Lowes pushed back our delivery another day to 7/20/24. After calling Lowes and being bounced around from employee to employee who were of no help, I was eventually hung up on by a manager because "he could no longer help me".
It will now be 4 days since ordering the refrigerator that should have been delivered in less than 24 hours, I have an irate tenant with hundreds of dollars of spoiled food and HOPEFULLY Lowes decide to show up tomorrow at the correct time with the refrigerator. The level of incompetence and general disregard is astonishing and quite appalling. Thankfully this is not a home delivery where someone would have wasted a whole day or multiple days waiting at home for an item that won't be delivered anyway! Overall a very abysmal experience and I would STRONGLY recommend reconsidering your future purchases from Lowes.

On 7/5/24 Lowe's installed a washing machine in a rental apt we own. It was installed incorrectly and when used water ran throughout the apt damaging the floors throughout. I have been calling for the past 2 weeks and as of today still do not have a call back from Lowe's or their 3rd party vendors (Sedgwick or RXO) nor do we have a claim number. I ordered a dining set through Lowe’s earlier this year. The delivery date was “rescheduled” or “extended” multiple times. I would receive a text message day of delivery about a delivery window. I took time away from work to be available for this delivery and every time it never showed up. After numerous calls with 2 Lowe’s locations and customer service, it turns out to be a fake company working through Lowe’s. After waiting for this table for a month and a half (even though originally delivery date was a week after order placed) the Lowe’s appeasement center recommended cancelling the order and promised me either a discount or credit due to my work loss, order never arriving etc…. They promised they would contact me within 2 weeks of a new table being ordered and I never heard from them.
I reached out today and after looking through all of the communications, they offered me $30. This doesn’t even cover the original delivery fee which was over $200. This does not make up for the numerous hours of work that I lost, my order never arriving and being forced to choose another set. They didn’t even expedite the shipping. After complaining about this “appeasement” I was offered a $40 gift card instead. I have been a Lowe’s customer for years, have spent thousands of dollars here remodeling my home and $30 or a $40 gift card is a pathetic way to make up for this outrageous and time consuming delivery issue. Would never recommend having a home delivery from Lowe’s. If you can’t get the order yourself, good luck getting the order ever delivered.

So my landlord through long delays finally brought me a new dishwasher. They went through Lowe's and they paid for delivery, haul away and installation. Well that dishwasher has been just sitting in the kitchen uninstalled and the old one is still hooked up. I see Lowe's has a ton of bad 1star reviews and I see why. I think it's time to report them to The Consumer Affairs people and the Federal Trades Commission as well as the Better Business Bureau. I recently had an absolutely horrible experience purchasing a laundry center from Lowe's, and I feel compelled to share my ordeal so that others can avoid similar frustration.
Lowe's: The trouble began with the delivery. The personnel were extremely negligent, possibly high. Not only did they damage my home during the delivery process, but they also ruined the product while trying to fix their mistakes. It was clear from the start that Lowe's had outsourced their delivery services to a company that didn't "meet their standards". When I reached out to Lowe's for help, they were quick to pass the buck to PdP Claims, washing their hands of any responsibility. The level of customer service I received from Lowe's was appalling, with endless transfers and unhelpful responses. To make matters worse, Lowe's has been actively removing negative reviews from the internet, trying to silence the issues they've caused by passing the buck from larger to smaller companies. Their hope is that people will give up reporting them.
PdP Claims: Dealing with PdP Claims was a nightmare. After submitting my claim, they responded with a ridiculous denial, filled with excuses and unfounded justifications for why they wouldn't cover the damages. For example: The washer height did not match the damage on the wall, while the wall damage was clearly from a box cutter on the delivery person. It was clear that their primary goal was to avoid responsibility rather than provide any real assistance. Their handling of my claim was unprofessional and frustrating, adding unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation.
Culmination Logistics: Just when I thought things couldn't get worse, I was referred to Culmination Logistics. This company was supposed to resolve the issues caused by the initial delivery, but they only compounded the problem. Their response times were incredibly slow, and their communication was poor and poorly written. I have not had a resolve after relentless effort on my part have all the water damage repaired in my home.
In summary, my experience with Lowe's, PdP Claims, and Culmination Logistics was the worst I've ever encountered. From negligent delivery personnel to a convoluted and unhelpful claims process, and finally, the slow and inefficient resolution of the problem, every step of the way was a struggle. I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from Lowe's to think twice, as the customer service and accountability at every level are severely lacking. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.

Bought extended warranty on profile dishwasher. Dishwasher malfunctioned on July 1. Still not fixed. They use Sears Appliance. No other company. We had 2 appointments, no show and one appointment changed. They haven’t scheduled another appointment as of today July 16. It still isn’t repaired. Obviously, we are out 189.00 for the warranty. Do NOT BUY THEIR WARRANTIES. I spent 2 hours on the phone yesterday and got nowhere with them. (That is not an exaggeration). The dishwasher is a profile Ge that is 1 1/2 years old.

I made an online purchase. I realized that the wrong address was put in for delivery. I used Lowe's chat line. The wrong item was canceled by the line. I called customer service to straighten it out and was advised that the original item could not be canceled, since it was past the 30-minute "timeline". This "timeline" is not posted. Managment!!! This is a disgrace. Change your policy. Looks like "Home Depot" for now on.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a home improvement project. Nobody knows nothing every time I would call Lowe’s. I never got answers to my questions. The only time I heard from them is when I called them. I had to just cancel my order. I’m so disappointed by the service. I would never shop there again.

Initially assured of a 3 to 10-business-day refund timeline, I was dismayed to find no progress when I checked on June 27. Subsequent inquiries with Lowe's credit card service on July 11, 2024, revealed no refund had been processed. They advised me to file a claim, which could take 60 days to resolve, citing a lack of control over the refund process.
Manager's Call: On July 13, 2024, I received a call from the local store manager, who attributed the delay to mishandling by the return department and acknowledged a failure to communicate effectively with me. Unfortunately, due to this delay, the refund for the refrigerator had to be issued via check, and the refund for the Protection Plan, which I sought, could not be honored due to the elapsed time since purchase.
Overall Impression: This entire ordeal has been one of the most taxing and stressful experiences I've encountered as a consumer. The financial loss and inconvenience of managing with a temporary fridge while awaiting resolution have been burdensome. Lowe's advertises extensive customer benefits and services, yet my experience reveals significant transparency gaps and disjointed communication among its departments, leaving me feeling misled and disappointed.
Recommendation: Prospective customers should be aware of the substantial disconnect between Lowe's departments, which can complicate straightforward transactions and lead to prolonged issues with refunds and customer service. Final Thoughts: As a consumer who had trusted Lowe's for many years, I find this experience disillusioning. My husband and father-in-law visited the plumbing department twice today and received inadequate assistance from an employee named Don. Eventually, Don suggested they hire a plumber, which is unacceptable given the nature of the store. If Don is not interested in working in the plumbing department, he should seek employment elsewhere. No customer should receive such poor treatment at Lowe's home improvement store or any other establishment.

Just wanted to say that Lowe’s return policy is absolutely horrible. I will never shop there again, customer service is also terrible. Bought some GFI’s, One out of three was defective. The lady at the counter couldn’t do a return without a receipt because I paid cash and told me, "Well at least it was only one that was broken."

Purchased an $1062.98 washer that was scheduled to be delivered on July 9th. We have a family of 6. Told them we need this asap however they just didn't care and failed to deliver to us as promised. They changed the delivery date to July 11th. Again did not deliver. Now have rescheduled again for the 13th. We reached out telling them this is ridiculous and told them we demand a full refund because we cannot wait/suffer any longer. Lowe's then DENIED us our refund having no grounds to do so and we STILL have NOT received our washer machine. This has really placed my family in a tough situation. We purchased a Bosch 800 series dishwasher from Lowe's on 6/23/24, which cost close to 1800 because we added a 5-year protection plan and installation cost. Lowe's website was confusing, so while I thought I originally paid for the installation, turned out I didn't, and I only found out after it was delivered. So, on 6/24, I had to go into a local Lowe's store to pay for the installation. It took a few days before anyone could come install it, which was 7/2. AFTER JUST THREE DAYS OF NORMAL USE, it could not even be powered on. We called Lowe's and Bosch, and was told we had to go through Bosch's warranty. So we had to wait until 7/10 before a technician came and gave us the official diagnosis that THE PRODUCT HAS A DEFECTIVE CIRCUT BOARD.
I called Lowe's requesting an exchange for this $1800 WORTH OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCT and was told they WOULD NOT EXCHANGE IT beyond 48 hours after it's delivered, and because I didn't pay for it with a Lowe's credit card, I was not allowed to return it within 30 days as I saw on the website. They made me call Bosch for a "return authorization".
I called Bosch THREE TIMES and spoke with THREE DIFFERENT AGENTS, all telling me they do not do that and I had to deal with Lowe's. But then Lowe's kept telling me to call Bosch, and one of their agents also gave me a wrong number and ended up making me call "Bosco's". I have collectively been kicked around like a can and spent hours making these phone calls and still being stuck with an $1800 worth of defective product. I am done dealing with lowe's for the rest of my life. Do not buy anything from lowe's, they take advantage of customers and have no respect for your money or your time whatsoever.

I purchased a new LG washing machine. The machine seems fine. Its the delivery I am upset about. The delivery person was great. This is where I take issue with Lowes. The delivery got delayed until after 9pm last night. I tracked the truck all day and saw I was number 14 on the stop. As I tracked it I saw it seemed to take a long time at each stop. This was concerning and I was getting annoyed. Finally, a little after 9pm a huge box truck from Lowes backs down my drive. One person steps out. One average size guy. He opens the back of the box truck and its full of old returned appliances. Freezers, Dishwasher, Dryers, you get the point. I helped him get our new washer into the house. Lowes. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Sending one guy to carry heavy appliances up and down steps all day and evening. One guy. I truly feel bad for that guy.

I purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher 2 years ago with a service plan. The dishwasher just stopped working the other day and I had to reach out to them for service. Calling Lowe's and getting a live person was a nightmare, then Lowe's uses a service company where all the techs don't speak english which makes the issue even worse. He was unable to communicate with me to explain the problem. I will never purchase another product from Lowe's with another service plan.

The self pay cashier seems to be very disrespectful and very impatient. I was at a machine checking out and witnessed a cashier named Dorene getting very disrespectful with another team member because they were doing their job by doing what seems like putting expensive item up front for a customer. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Placed online order. Only needed items that cost $5 so added items to reach the free shipping threshold. Order went through and my card charged. The next day I get notified that they, Lowe’s, modified my order due to an item being out of stock. Again, my card was charged the adjusted amount which NOW INCLUDED SHIPPING CHARGES due to the order no longer meeting the threshold. I called and spoke with 3 representatives, one on whom was a supervisor. They did absolutely nothing but wasted more of my time. They did not refund the shipping charges due to their cancellation of part of my order. I asked if I could cancel order and make a new one which again met the free shipping threshold? They said no citing my modified order had already been processed.
I asked for a gift card in the amount of the shipping charges. No. I asked if I could order something else where they credited the shipping charges that should have been refunded against this new order. No. Their error. Their action. And they passed the added costs on to me. Horrible, horrible customer care!!! I absolutely will never shop at Lowe’s again. Home Depot from now on!!

I must say I am HIGHLY upset right now with Lowes!!!! Come home today, 7/5, to find out our upright freezer has gone bad. We went to lowes right away to buy a new one, only to be told we cant have it delivered until next Friday, 7/12. We work all week and they won't allow us to specify a time in which we would be home from work on Monday, so therefore, no one is going to be home until Friday. Now, you guys deliver up until 8 at night, I don't understand why you couldn't have just put it in your little notes to make us the last delivery of the day?!?! I am going to lose to much food and meat & I would like to know who is going to Reimburse us for all the food wasted???? I am so disgusted with you right now!!!!

Don't buy building materials or anything else for that matter at Lowes. Especially if you're building. I had an item that I needed to return. I was informed that if the item is bought on anything except for a Lowe's credit card, you only have 90 days to return the item for a refund. If you buy the item with a lowes credit card, you have a year to return the item. I have a lowes credit card, but I pay off the balance every month. For small purchases, I just use my debit card. So how are they going to put money back on a card that's paid off? What if you paid for cash?

We are remodeling and went to Lowe’s for countertops. NO person in the store could help. When I found people, they said they don’t handle that and left. Finally found a flooring person who sold me a measure to get started. Paid and was told they would call to schedule a time. Never did. Trying to contact a person to help me has so far taken me an hour and nothing. If they do not sell countertops, they need to take away all displays. Never have been to a store that can’t sell you their products. They are just sitting there as a big display but must only do online sales.

One of the worst experiences; ordered about $300 worth of tools/supplies for same day delivery. Placed order well before cutoff time. Get text message order received. Get another message ready for delivery. Waited for delivery confirmation. Did not receive. Went online to see what was going on, scheduled delivery for the next day. Well, there was not going to be anyone home the following day, hence why I needed same day delivery, that I paid extra for. No explanation as to why. So, I had to go through pulling teeth to just cancel the order. If I wanted it next day or after I would have gone to the store myself. Will have to take business elsewhere.

Will not buy from Lowe’s again. They, Lowe’s, had deal, you buy a front door for about $150 or so and installation is free. Just put down $35 which will be refunded after installation. According to Lowe’s the installation will be about $100-150. OK, I agreed to have someone come by and give me an estimate for installation. Days later a nice young man came by and looked at the front door, made a few notes and told me that the installation would be $350. I decided that was too much more than the $100-150 that was offered at the in-store advertisement. I declined. I went back to the Lowe’s store and requested my $35 back. The department manager said, the deal was only to get my refund when I purchased the door and installation. The way I see it, I paid Lowe’s $35 and got nothing for it. Lowe’s blows.

Do not buy a gas stove and have it delivered by them, the people who deliver don't know how to hook them up, had to have another company come out and hook it up, the company that came out had it connected correctly and was gone 15 minutes later, he said he just left another house that had the same issue, Lowe's needs to hire people that know how to do the job correctly.

I went into my McMinnville, TN Lowe’s for a new entry door knob. I asked a young man at the return desk for assistance and told me ok. Where I was waiting I could see him. Watched several employees walking around him for 10 minutes and no one came to help. I told him “That’s ok, I’ll take my business to Ace” and I’ll continue to go there from now on! Before I got out the exit door, I got offered help. Not Now that I’ve been waiting for so long. I’m definitely not a happy customer. I would leave -5 stars if I could. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me or others.

On May 3 2023 I signed a contract for a fence installation. The contract said the fence would be installed by July 17 2023. As July came around, I began calling Lowe's customer service to see when the fence would be installed. Nobody could give me direct answers. I would be given a date and then no scheduling happened. This process repeated over and over. Then I was told that my fence would be delayed because someone forgot to order certain material for the fence. Long story short, contract was signed in May, fence was not completed until August 2023. Now if you go to cancel this (due to them being out of contract) you are told that you will lose 20% of the money you put down. So after 4 months of waiting, I ask for a discount. They gave me $100 back (what a joke). The contractors that did the fence gave us a broken handle on the fence, and said they would be back the next day to fix it. They never came back.

I ordered 20 gallons of paint online. I could not select the color online that we wanted so I ordered the 4 5 gallon buckets to ensure we the paint was available because we had issues finding 20 gallons at other stores. When we went to pick up the paint and notified the employee that we needed to have several of the buckets tinted, we were forced to cancel the order because the manager and representative could not figure out how to add color to paint after it was purchased. (This is something that I have done at Home Depot many times for clients once they pick their color after I ordered the paint).
Now a week later, I still haven't received my $650 refund. I still don't have paint. And I have an inspection on my house next Wednesday that I won't pass without it being painted. Thanks, Lowe's for making a simple purchase into a 3-10 business day ordeal. I usually shop at Home Depot and I will continue to do so now that I have experienced the incompetence and unwillingness to help your customers at Lowe's.

Buyer beware! This is strictly a Lowe’s customer service review, not a product review. I purchased a suite of kitchen appliances. The double oven arrived with one of the doors canted so it appears slightly crooked. We paid to have our old oven removed so we decided to keep the damaged oven & call for a replacement so that we wouldn’t be without an oven. The replacement arrived 10 days later and had multiple dents so we rejected the delivery based on the recommendation of the delivery driver & the warehouse customer service agent on the phone at time of delivery.
After the driver left, I called customer service & was told that once the rejected oven returned to the warehouse, they would schedule another delivery. 48hrs later, I hadn’t received a call, so I called Lowe’s customer service. I spoke to 3 different agents, all of whom told me I could not get another replacement. Apparently, it is Lowe’s policy, to only send 1 replacement. My only option is to purchase a new one, then they will refund me what I paid for the original one ($2361.85) when it is received at the warehouse 7-10 business days later. Additionally, the customer service agent refused to waive the second delivery fee.
Let me point out that my request for a replacement is not because I changed my mind. THE PRODUCTS ARE DAMAGED!!! Calling customer service & spending 90 minutes on the phone with 3 representatives got me zero customer service. I would advise any buyer to consider the risk of wasting your money if purchasing appliances at Lowe’s Home Improvement. This is by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever endured.

Went to buy a refrigerator and they had it off where if you opened up a low credit card you received 20% off up to $100.. To determine some conditions, my refrigerator should’ve been an additional 20% off. Applied for the card, was accepted and received the discount code for the 20% off, went to apply it and it would not let me use it on that refrigerator. It would not explain why.. I think the 20% off if you apply for a credit card is a scam just to get you to apply for a credit card so my credit rating takes a hit and I don’t get the discount. Never shop Lowe’s again

Lowe's Hardware Associate tried to sell a Badly damaged DeWalt Drill box. Insisted on selling it and then regretfully got another drill. Then he said, "Well you have to pay for it now before shopping." Apparently, it's the store policy to walk caged locked items up to be held for customer. I went ahead and made the purchase. I've spent hundreds and thousands of dollars with Lowe's and never been treated so poorly. The lines are long lately they have been short-staffed. The self-checkout is a nightmare. The bathrooms are mostly dirty.
Having going to this store with my friends and associates. The policies aren't applied to all customers. Check your own Security cameras at Lowe's. Policy is applied to certain customers. I reported it to the store manager and corporate. The Store manager defended his staff and his position went on to tell me statistic data. Instead of offering to make the purchase right. Didn't even give my complaint any consideration. I spent a hundred and twenty-nine dollars voice concerns to the manager on duty all she said. "Well do you want it or not." Didn't even thank me for the purchase. Instead of feeling like a welcomed customer, I felt like I was under investigation as a criminal. I would choose somewhere else if possible in the future.

Updated on 06/27/2024: I have been trying to get answers on my "in stock flooring". I was told last week, they had 1 box to get at State College store. A manager was getting it Monday or Tuesday. He never did get it till Wed. I was told someone would call me on the 27th. No one ever did. I am given excuse after excuse. Not only did it take 3 days to put my order in. But now we are 10 days in. Nobody communicates at all. They have poor management at Lewistown PA. Store. And whoever it is that I message through Facebook. Just feeds you a line of crap. I have been called a moron by their installation support team. When I called the very first time to find out what is going on. There is a 200.00 discrepancy in my contract paperwork and paperwork they emailed my husband. I was supposed to get a call in regards to that. Never did.
I had to call my CC company, to let them know if Lowe's tries to put through an additional 200.00 charge, I do not authorize it! This company just does not give a crap about the consumer. I try to call corporate, it just sends you to the store. I emailed corporate. No response. Worst place to have any work done. There is zero communication. If they cannot take on a job to be done in reasonable amount of time. They shouldn't be taking on or selling for this type of job. Management is very poor. Employees are very rude. And not one person seems to give a darn. They just take your money. Then it's, "We'll get to you when we get to you!" Well, they should be able to take your money till the job is started.
Original review: I would not recommend Lowe's for any flooring or carpet laying jobs. I have had nothing but a nightmare ever since I started this flooring project with them. I picked the flooring. It was in stock. Next day. Guy came out and measured. He sent measurements to Lowe's. He said once they had that I should hear from them shortly after with estimate. Yeah, that took 2 days. It has now taken 5 days for the product to be pulled. Oh, and it still isn't pulled!! Every time I try to find out what's going on. I'm told in 1 to 2 days they should be reaching out to you. Employees have been very rude, 1 even calling me a moron! Emailed corporate. And it's has become obvious they do not care.
I would not recommend them to do anything. I was gonna use them to have a deck done. Thank God I did not. Took 2 days a local lumber company had my stuff here and deck almost done. And I have been reading, it's pretty much all the Lowe's not just one particular Lowe's. So next time I'll use a local smaller business, or drive an hour to Home Depot.

I purchased a Kobalt ratchet screw driver set and says hassle free lifetime warranty. That's a joke. I have went into the store and didn’t get anywhere because I didn’t have the receipt. I contacted kobalt themselves and all they do is give you a reference number and tell you to go to the store again. Just to not let me return it again! I don't live close to the store and it’s definitely not hassle free and cost more in gas than the took. Side note I learned not to buy kobalt and learned to shop at Home depot now.

Have to keep in mind they sub contract work. after carpet install notified installers, wanted to keep surplus of new carpet and old, contractors took all items back even took metal strip out of my garage. called Lowes and local police, made report, company contacted me to return all items which they did minus padding that originally was told needed to complete work, lowes only concern is work was done, does not care. had to wait 2 days to get items back and not keeping contractor accountable for actions. wanted to save money and quick installation, never thought I would have gone thru so much. next time Home Depot. Here’s a one-star review you could use: I am extremely disappointed with Lowe’s customer service and their extended protection plan. I purchased a washing machine with the extended warranty, expecting peace of mind if anything went wrong. When the machine broke down on Thursday, I promptly reported it to Lowe’s. They assigned a repair company that never scheduled the repair. Upon researching this company, I discovered numerous complaints on the BBB about their unprofessional conduct, including taking money without performing repairs and failing to show up for appointments.
I contacted Lowe’s about this issue, and they assured me they would find a different repair option. It has now been five days, and I have received no response. I am still without a working washing machine despite having the extended warranty. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I am very disappointed in Lowe’s lack of support and follow-through.

I will encourage my Family, Friends and acquaintances to do the same until Lowe's revises this policy. I understand that Lowe's made this policy due to the risk of the dishonest people stealing products and returning them for cash but for those of us that are honest this is not acceptable.

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the kitchen installation service provided by Lowe's, which has been an ongoing nightmare for over a year now. We embarked on what should have been an exciting kitchen renovation project, investing thousands, only to be met with incompetence, rudeness, and a complete lack of resolution from Lowe's. From the outset, Lowe's insisted that we use their installer, which turned out to be a disastrous decision. The installer clearly lacked the necessary skills and professionalism for such a significant project, leaving us with a kitchen that not only looks unsightly but also unusable now for more than a year.
Moreover, the customer service experience has been equally disappointing. Instead of addressing our concerns earnestly, we have been subjected to a series of excuses and finger-pointing, with no concrete steps towards resolving the issues. The culmination of these unresolved issues has forced us to escalate the matter through the CCB (Construction Contractors Board) route, as we see no other viable option to seek justice and a proper resolution.
In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone considering a kitchen renovation to steer clear of Lowes for cabinetry or installation services. Their insistence on using inexperienced installers has resulted in a financial loss and significant stress for my family. The investment has not only been wasted but has also brought us ongoing frustration and disappointment. I hope that this review serves as a warning to others and prompts Lowe's to reassess their installation procedures and customer service standards. A kitchen renovation should enhance one's home and quality of life, not become a protracted battle with the retailer responsible for the mess.

Horrible company and service. Do not shop here, go to Home Cheapo or better yet a local mom-and-pop store. They value you as a customer. Why I gave this place a chance for all these years when they are terrible. Do not fall for their scams.

Came into Lowe's Davie store on St Rd 84 tonight #3315, to exchange paint. Waited 15 min. to return with NO ONE in line & only 1 store rep doing a complicated return on a custom order. Had to ask 3 times if someone could help me! Then waited 10 min for paint lady Lynda to come mix 1 gal of paint. NO ONE else in whole store can mix paint!! Store Manager Alexandro was unavailable & not to be found. SUPER POOR customer service. Going to Home Depot from now on!!!! I don't mind waiting in line with others but when there is no one to help you, and no one is cross trained, get a NEW Manager!

Bought a Craftsman grass trimmer with 3 year manufacturer warranty and Lowe’s protection plan. It stop working 45 days ago. Took it to Lowe’s in Greeley Co. Went, checked up on it, was told it could take months. What good is a warranty I if it could take months?

Delivery guy refused to take our old washer after I paid for it to be hauled off. Said he couldn’t take it with water in it. My wife drained 4 oz of water out and pleaded with him. He finally agreed, but I WILL NOT BUY FROM LOWE'S AGAIN.

If I could I would give NO STARs. I bought a brand new Craftsman Riding lawnmower, the blade doesn't engage so called. They told me that they were going to replace with a new one that they assembling it last weekend that they would call me but they never did so called back on Tuesday. They said they would assemble a new one and deliver it today, well they came to get the one I have, well they didn't have my replacement so I didn't give him the one I have not until I get the new one. So called the store. They said they didn't have any more at their store, well where is the one they were assembling all week???? This was the first time I shopped and bought something from Lowe's, I can tell you this. I will NEVER shop there again. Very upset and really P'd off.

I purchased a 2 flush valve toilet from Lowes, their brand, back in the fall. One of the valves was broken so I contacted them to get a replacement. It's now June and they still don't have a solution as how to fix it. They offered to replace the toilet, which would mean I would have to pay again for someone to take away the old one and install the new one (They said they wouldn't cover this). They told me today I would have to contact the manufacturer because it was now out of warranty. I suggested they give me a discount. I was on hold for over an hour while the CSR tried to get someone to approve this, which never happened. I am waiting yet again for a return call. STAY AWAY FROM LOWE'S. THEY HAVE GONE FROM BAD TO WORSE WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY OF PRODUCTS. I have given them chance after chance only to get burned.

Fridge delivered as replacement. I’m a female, husband incapacitated in other room. Delivery men overheard doors were even but were clearly crooked. All plastic was left on and jammed on edges. Uneven on floor. No attempts to adjust- delivery staff said fridge unadjustable- had to wedge cardboard underneath.

I needed a refrigerator so I used my credit card points to buy Lowe’s gift cards. I ordered a refrigerator and had the set delivery. They checked with me twice the day before making sure my delivery day and time looked good. Yes. The day of the delivery, my husband and I moved furniture out of the way and cleaned out our old refrigerator and took it out of the house. As we were waiting in the delivery window, I checked on the order and they said it had been canceled. When I called to see if they could do a similar refrigerator substitution, they said no. There was nothing they could do.
I went online to purchase a different refrigerator, but I can’t use the original gift cards because they were applied to the first order. When I called Lowe's they said they would send me the replacement gift cards in about a week. I don’t have a refrigerator in my house and I can’t wait a week for a refrigerator. I don’t understand why Lowe's can’t apply my gift card balance to the new order. So now I’m stuck using gift cards with a company that has screwed me over twice. After I use these gift cards, I vow to never give Lowe’s my business again.

Ordered an apartment packing kit because it said they could deliver it next day and we only have a week to be out of the apartment; it cost me $137. Next day rolls around and I get an updated delivery notice that it will be delivered Monday which sucks because we lose the weekend to pack but it is what it is. Monday comes and I get another notice that it's been delayed (this time with NO estimated delivery date). I try to use chat feature (can't call since it's past their phone operational times) to cancel and refund since we needed it like yesterday and I don't have time to wait for an undated delivery. It connects fine until I mention the refund and then I get "disconnected", this happens twice!
The 3rd time, I try and be brief.. Let them know we won't be at our apartment next week and that if it's delivered we will have no way of returning it! They tell me they can't since it's been shipped already and that they will file a refund request, and get back to me (no date range given) ... that IF my refund is approved it will take 3-20 days before I see it on my statement. I reiterated, we will not be at the shipping destination after this week so if it shows up we have no way of getting it back to them; they need to contact their fulfillment team and cancel the delivery. I asked for a ticket number and they offered a transcript; when I asked to get a copy of her report I was suddenly "disconnected" again. Don't use Lowe's if you can help it; Terrible customer service, resolved absolutely nothing and now I'm out $137 with no moving materials.

Bought a fridge at Lowe's on Saturday 4:25pm, the sales representative told me it could not be delivered until Monday because the warehouse would get the delivery schedule on Sunday which is 24 hours before being delivered. They scheduled me for Monday between 12pm to 4:30pm. I went to do my grocery shopping on Monday morning and bought $130 worth of stuff and came home and waited. At 1:50pm I got a call that they will bring the fridge in 30 minutes. They arrived and when they unpacked the fridge there was a damage in the middle of the door, first the driver try to convince me to take it and they will give me a discount, if it was a scratch or scuff I could live with it, but not a damage in size that I could fit half apple in there!!!
I asked the driver when are they going to reschedule a replacement drop off, he said, "You'll get a call in a few minutes," so I went inside the house to grab my phone, came back only to find out no truck/no driver/no fridge. So I called the local Lowe's where I bought the fridge and explained what happened, they put me in a loop of call transfers with no answers. Finally called the 800 number, and I was told that someone will contact me in the next 24 hrs to resolve the issue. I lost a day of work waiting on Monday for my fridge that I didn't get, $130 worth of groceries went to trash, and I have to lose one more day of work again for rescheduling another drop off (who knows when). Overall very bad experience all around.

Bought a washer using Lowe's credit card because I was offered a discount for using it. Was told by the rep, that I would receive full refund if not satisfied. I immediately paid it off at checkout. The washer was delivered on time. Wrong color, so return was arranged. Washer was picked up. When I requested refund status, I was notified, it was refunded to my Lowe's card. So the only way I can use the refund is by using the Lowe's card! They have my money that I can only use in their stores. I contacted customer service, was told that’s the way it is & there’s nothing I can do about it! I feel like I have been scammed! This should not even be legal! If this is Lowe's policy, it should have been fully explained at the time of purchase. I will never buy from them again!

I have been rebuilding my front porch on my home due to rotting wood. Lowe's #1925 has been my go to store in Cornelia Ga which is almost 14 miles away. Many times I have gone to the store purchasing items, sometimes duplicates, sometimes needing more, items not needed, too many, etc. My Lowe's card has been the primary source of purchasing items but sometimes I have forgotten my wallet so I paid in cash.
Today June 9th 2024 I am almost finished in rebuilding my porch and I needed a few things to paint the floor with non-skid paint. I’m 70 years old and afraid of falling on wet or icy surfaces. The reason I want non-skid paint. I gather some items that I knew I wouldn’t need to complete my project. Several Items were returned with no issues. I have other items to return but am afraid they will be stolen as well by Lowe's #1925. 2 items - a sanding sponge and Mini wax wood hardener were issues. I had bought 3 cans of the wood hardener at various times. The csr told me he couldn’t find them to return with a receipt. Informed the clerk I had some receipts in my vehicle and receipts at home.
Most often I used my Lowe's advantage card but at times I paid cash due to leaving my wallet at home. No need to drive 28 miles round trip when I had cash in my pocket. I took both items back out to my vehicle and started looking for receipts. I remember the 2 items were purchased at the same time but I found a receipt showing the mini wax wood hardener. The sanding sponge was not on this receipt even though I clearly remember purchasing the wood hardener, sanding sponge and a few other things at the same time. He never said he needed the exact receipt, only a receipt.
I took the wood hardener with the receipt I found back to the return desk. Even with the receipt he couldn’t find them. Lowe's camera caught me twice entering the store with the wood hardener $19.98. The store manager acknowledged that the cameras recorded me twice entering the store with the wood hardener but the receipt I found in my vehicle showed returned. Obviously it was not the right receipt. The store manager refused to hand me the wood hardener backing away when I reached for it. Stating the receipt I had provided showed returned. OBVIOUSLY THE WRONG RECEIPT. Refused to give me my wood hardener, store credit for items I intended to purchase to paint my porch floor.
It is an undeniable fact I walked into the store twice with the $19.98 wood hardener. Why did she refused to let me leave with an item that cameras show I entered the store twice? Why did she not tell me to return with another receipt ? She never asked me if I had any other receipts. If she had I would have told her I in fact had other receipts at home. It was my intention to take the wood hardener back home and look for another receipt as well as make my purchases for the day. Perhaps it was the way I was dressed.
I had been working on my porch and my clothing showed I had been working. I’m not some derelict. I am in fact a 70 year old honorably discharged Vietnam Era Veteran, never been arrested and in my life I have received 2 tickets. One when I was 19 years old for speeding and one for being on my cell phone. Georgia laws regarding cell phone is different than Texas where I lived for 25 years which allow you to be on your phone if you are stopped. I’m not going to get dressed up to go to Lowe's and come back home change clothes to continue working. Needless to say I was furious and the cameras will show I was furious. She stole from me and smiled about it.
Let me tell you what this has cost Lowe's. The wood hardener was stolen from me by the female who claimed to be the store manager and it is my intention to let everyone know what occurred. Tile has been ordered to tile my kitchen floor. Plumbing has already been installed to switch from an electric stove to propane stove. I’m merely waiting for a phone call the tile is in. It could be next week or a couple of months from now. The tile is from Italy. I need a large quantity of the tile so I’m not going to run to different stores piece meal the tile. I want the same run number for color uniformity. These are the following items I intended to purchase from Lowe's #1925.

The visit started out with no carts to be had either in the store or out of the store. We were directed to the parking lot to "find your own cart". There were none. This occurred in both the garden area and the lumber/hardware area. The wait in line in the garden center, where only one of three checkout areas was staffed was 30 minutes and then the computer went down. The clerk was very distressed and tried hard but management did not send help. He directed us all to one of the check out areas in the front where the line was absurdly long. I counted all check out stands full and 8 customers in line. When I went to customer service to complain I asked for a manager. One was standing with another clerk at one register and no back up there as well with 5 more customers in line. The manager was very dismissive of my complaint and asked no questions. I will limit my shopping to Home Depot if possible from here on out.

I ordered a picnic table with free shipping. The tracking sucked so I could never tell when delivery was. Luckily I was outside when it showed up and watched delivery driver slam down the corner of the box so I checked it and sure enough it was damaged so I refused delivery. Now the crappy part- I called Lowe’s the next day since they never communicated to me and I asked for a refund. They first told me someone would call me then the next day they emailed to tell me that wasn’t correct that they would send a refund. I waited a few days and never received refund so I emailed again and he said it was on its way, still nothing so I emailed for a tracking number of it which they don’t have. Then lo and behold a new picnic was delivered without my request nor was I home.
I emailed again and asked about refund, still said it’s coming then I get an email saying it was delivered and I told them I requested my money not a new item. They told me to return to the store for a refund then!!! It doesn’t even fit in my car so I emailed them that and their response was just return so I told them again their mistake so they sent a shipping label to print but I don’t have a printer lol. I have never once had a good experience with Lowe’s.

Worst experience and false advertising when buying appliances. Ordered a washer on sale for memorial weekend. In person and online was given only a few days delivery, got moved to one week, then another week. Second week, two days before delivery got moved to July 5th? Called customer support for help, they stated vendor does not have product available and a new delivery date is not guaranteed? I asked them if I can pick up the washer, they said no because is not available? So I canceled the order. Why sell products that they don't have? Pretty sure I was going to get my new washer next year due to the holiday delivery orders. Never doing business with Lowe's again.

I had a small bathroom remodeled by Lowes with a final cost of $23,000. This included new tile on the floor and shower as well as two small cabinets. Additionally they installed a tap for the sink. The hot and cold lines were reversed, The water line inside the shower was not tightened properly and leaked inside the wall. I had to tear out the drywall and pay a plumber $1300 to repair the damage. Painting the room was done so poorly I had to have it repainted at my expense. The toilet, sink and countertop and hardware were not replaced. The job only took twice as long as quoted and was only finished when I threatened to take them to court. I will NEVER buy ANYTHING from Lowes again.

I have had an issue with Lowe's for over 1 1/2 months now. There is always something on why no one gets back with me. How do you sell a product that the manufacturer said it is non repairable. Talked to LG. They took 3 weeks to tell me it is Lowe's problem because they sold it when they shouldn't have. Then talked to Lowe's corporate. Took them 2 1/2 weeks to tell me it's at the store level since they did wrong. I'm still fighting to get stuff taken care of. But Lowe's puts it on the floor to be sold again. Now that I have MOLD and cabinets that need to be replaced due to their stupidity.
Talk to 1 guy Jeff, after 2 weeks he is no longer working there. Talked to Will manager of appliances for 2 week, no return call and now he is on vacation for a week. Have tried to talk to Tim the manager and I have been on hold for 30+ minutes, been hung up on 3 times. I'm still trying to get a call back in the matter!! I will NEVER hold back to Lowe's for anything again!! It should never take this long to get something done!!!

This is a review about Lowes, not the brands they carry. I used to think lowes had good customer service. But no more. I bought a refrigerator and dishwasher, and bought the 5-yr warranties. I'm supposed to receive 50% back from water filters (refrigerator) and rinseaid (dishwasher).. When I applied to get the rebate, it took months, and then when I went to spend it they said it gift card didn't have the right amount. Customer service doesn't care about the customers.
