Don’t special order from Lowe’s unless you’re a masochist! Ordered a window in August. Kept being delayed. Automated system said it was in awaiting install. Not correct. They “lost” the window after weeks of delay. Each check meant an hour on the phone mostly on hold. They will tell you they’ll call you back in three days then they don’t. You have to go through the whole ordeal again. I’ve spent more than 20 hours on the phone trying to get what I paid for and the window arrived but trim went to the wrong store. Waited all day for the delayed delivery of the trim only to find out they don’t have it.
I am 71 years old and can honestly say this is the eorst customer ex and service in my life… other than the garage doors I ordered and paid for from Lowe’s that I finally cancelled after two months of them delaying placing the order because they were “still looking for an installer that could do both lead testing and installation” which they never found. Everything is outsourced and their systems don’t talk to each other and no one takes any ownership.

This company is shit. They won't even honor their prices. Even asked 2 associates that told me it was the right price. Tampa store assistant manager is the rudest ever, with no customer service. Will never do business with them again. Home Depot is easier to work with.

I bought a brand new Toro mower from the Trussville Lowe’s on Edwards Lake rd. After one use I took it back due to cranking issues. A ** female store manager refused to allow me to exchange it for another mower. Because I had it a week over 30 days. I explained to her it was a Christmas present for me. She still refused the exchange. I’ll never shop there again and I’ve end up spending over $200.00 getting repairs on a $350.00 mower.

I can only give it a one star. If there was less I would definitely give it. My experience with Lowe’s was terrible. It was horrible and I will never buy from this store again. I do home remodels so I ordered a refrigerator for one of the people I work for. Your delivery company brought it out. They damaged the refrigerator and left it. I had to call to have the refrigerator switched out after it was damaged. I reached out to Lowe’s to have it done. They only reimburse me for the refrigerator. They wanted to charge me for the delivery fee and other services which I don’t feel I should’ve paid. Why pay for something that is very terrible. Lowe’s has been very hard to work with. I reached out to their store in Frederick Maryland. Talked to three different store managers which I don’t think were, but they claim they were. No help, no solution. I just give up.

Shoutout to Lalo, an employee at Lowe's in Auburn, WA (store 1089). About a month ago we were looking for flooring, and he greeted us and offered assistance immediately upon our arrival in the department. Lalo was helpful offering ideas, helping us estimate amount needed, and decision making. He helped us find everything we needed for the project, checked us out, and assisted us in loading our supplies into our trailer, all while being friendly, polite, and professional. It's hard to find good customer service like that anymore!

I have never been so disappointed in a project as I have been with my Cabinet Installation from Lowe’s. I purchased $74,000 worth of cabinets… The salesman and floor manager were high-fiving stating that was the largest Sale for kitchen cabinets that he knew of in his 20 years in Lowe’s cabinet department.. I will remind you that we did get 20% off. Lowe’s was offering free installment as well. This was our whole reason for going with Lowe’s because I wanted European cabinets and being in Lake Charles Louisiana installers were hard to come by. The sales representative told me that Lowe’s did not have any installers. They had all quit, but he would take $5000 off of my order and CALL one of the ones who used to work for Lowe’s. Myself being alone at the time because my husband was out of town, of course I said yes! I was so excited and eager to get this project on the way.
These were very large shipments and they were scheduled ahead of time. I notified the sales rep that deliveries were coming and I had no idea what was what but I wanted to make sure the inventory was all here. He assured me that the installer would be there to check everything. Well, on the third big shipment he still has not come and I recognize the boxes were wet. I contacted the delivery service and they were in New Orleans and had suffered a large flood. She said many things got damaged. She suggested that I contact Lowe's. I took pictures coming off of the delivery truck with the saturated boxes, as well as the order numbers on each one and emailed them to the sales rep at Lowe’s. I also contacted him by phone and he told me not to worry about it. That the installer would go through all that and if anything was damage, he would know what he needed.
When we were drawing the layout of the kitchen, just the sales rep and I, he used a program at his desk. I asked how could he do this without coming out to our house and measuring. He told me to just get the length of the walls, length and width of my island, and bring measurements for all of my appliances. I was immediately feeling overwhelmed because I wasn’t sure if I was measuring the walls correctly or where exactly the bar should go. I was thinking I went with a company that handled everything. They came out and measured before installation, ensuring that everything was correct. Well, to consolidate this story, the installer left on day, two after damaging all the cabinets along with walls. My husband returned home from being out of town and went through all of the invoices, and there were numerous missing items. And many of the items sent were damaged.
We did manage to find someone to pick up where they left off, however, most of the cabinets were already set at their bases. The utility room had to be taken back out because everything was warped and damaged. Lowe’s sent replacement for the utility room. My contractor inspected the boards. Said they were all good and he installed them to the best of his ability because there were no instructions.!!! If you aren’t installer from Lowe’s, you’re on your own with these cabinets because they offer no help whatsoever. After wrestling with all of these pieces, he managed to finish the utility room. I walked in and my mouth dropped because they had sent us the wrong cabinets from a completely different manufacturer!!! I go and look at my island and the white gloss for Mika for My bar is a totally different color than the rest and sure enough. It’s a different manufacturer.
Somehow they got some other manufacturer to replace our utility room. How they did that I have no idea because we did not purchase from them! My kitchen to this day three years later has missing panels, no molding, mismatched Formica. Initially, they were very apologetic and said, "Ma’am, don’t worry we are going to fix this." The shipping and receiving is so disorganized. They threw away some of our good cabinets. Took the wrong cabinets. I visited Lowe's about a month ago and they handed me a missing piece to my cabinets that said 2021 on it.!! But I got no assistance any longer from the sales rep. They said, "I’m sorry. You’re on your own. We have done all we can do." I was speechless. I thought to myself, "How are they getting away with this."
This was supposed to be a new beginning following the hurricane devastation that rocked our community. This was a little bit of sunshine. But I got no glory out of this. It has been nothing but heartache every time I look at it. My husband keeps telling me to get an attorney, they aren’t gonna do anything. I guess I’m just so naïve to think that someone would actually let it go. Here it is three years later and I have a utility room that I don’t recognize that are not the cabinets that I ordered north from the same company. I have an island in my kitchen that the light for formica is not Diamond. It’s a lesser brand from Lowe’s. I have three glossy snapping panels missing on my cabinets.
You can see all the wires underneath my top cabinets where my lights were installed where we were supposed to get some kind of light bar or something where you can’t see the lights. Everything looks cheap and unfinished. I did leave a review somewhere that it’s so happened. A sales rep from Diamond read it and contacted me. I told the salesman at Lowe's who sold me the cabinets. He still acted like my friend and acted like he wanted to help but nothing ever got done. The only thing he would say is, "I’m probably gonna get fired over all of this." As soon as I told him that a rep had reached out to me and it’s going to help us. He said, "Oh no. Don’t do that! I have you covered. I’ve got everything you need worked out and I have a rep this coming and delivering the materials." This is when he handed me the last piece to our cabinets that dated 2021, this was 2025 mind you.
Me being the dummy I am I listen to him. He said he would come out to the house again and take another inventory. I have never seen him again. I was told he retired. I am gonna try and make a last ditch effort to reach back to the Diamond sales rep who contacted me and see if we can pick back up where we left off. He also told me to just wait a little while. That all the cabinets were under warranty and we could do something about it later. He just couldn’t do anything more right now.
My suggestion to anyone thinking of purchasing cabinets at Lowe’s, no matter, large order or small, do not do it!! Go to Home Depot.! At least they will stand by their products and if anything goes wrong, they will send someone out to investigate. They will not turn their back on you and look like they don’t even know you who you are when you entered the store after working together for three years!! If anyone must go with Lowe’s, I suggest questioning anything that doesn’t sound quite right and stop the project immediately if things start going wrong and demand to speak to a regional supervisor or even the manufacturer of the cabinets.

Large item ordered online, selected direct delivery to my house. Delivery delayed, then item was damaged. Instead of picking item up and replacing, Lowe's required me to return item to store for refund. Large item required a truck, which I don't have, and manpower to load it- also which I don't have. Nothing to compensate was offered other than a discount on the replacement item I am not reordering. Very poor customer service, no accountability, wants customers to pay for their mistakes.

In April 2025, we decided to upgrade our kitchen and visited the Lowe's store in Fairfax, VA. What began as a promising project quickly turned into a seven-month ordeal of incompetence, delays, and poor communication.
Initial Measurements – Inaccurate from the start.
Design Center Consultation – Referred to Lowe's "design experts."
Contract Signing – The only smooth step was swiping our credit card.
Reality:Project Start: Mid-April 2025
Completion: November 15, 2025 (crown molding finally installed)
Key Failures:Stage Issue Measurements: Multiple errors led to incorrect cabinet orders
Order Submission: Wrong sizes, missing pieces, delayed deliveries
Design Center: Inexperienced staff, zero accountability
Customer Service: Unresponsive, dismissive, no follow-through. Management Store manager worse than assistant managers.
The only "easy" part? Paying.
Final Warning: If you're planning a kitchen remodel, avoid Lowe's Fairfax at all costs. The stress, wasted time, and endless corrections are not worth any discount. Contact me if you'd like the full timeline and documentation before making the same mistake.

The only positive thing about Lowe’s that I can say is that the Sandusky store employees and managers are wonderful. That is where any positive ends. Between my husband and I we have now taken 2 full days off work only for their delivery crew to now show up. Completely unacceptable! No call or anything. I spend hours calling customer service with no answers. Despite Sandusky having wonderful customer service, the remainder has been so terrible that I will never purchase another appliance from Lowe’s. No amount of refund is worth the hassle and we are out more in wages due to time off waiting for them to never show up than what the actual appliance cost. Lowe’s- you need to do better. Hold your delivery service accountable! Two times in a week is ridiculous!

I purchased appliances, including a washing machine, which was delivered on 10/24/25/ The washing machine was installed incorrectly, resulting in water flooding from the upstairs laundry area into adjoining rooms the downstairs level. The damage includes wet drywall, ceilings, lighting, and flooring. I contacted the Lowe's store and was redirected with no return call, attempted to file a claim with them, and was sent to their delivery vendor, who ultimately denied the claim due to them "telling the lady not to use the washing machine." The lady in question was another Spanish speaking contractor working on the house. As of today, there's been no follow up or communication with Lowe's despite my continued outreach. Lowe's need to be held accountable for their contractors errors.

Bought a refrigerator and an upright freezer. Were to be delivered today between 12-4 pm. We had to drive down to my mother’s around 9AM as I have to go down everyday to care for her and I needed my husband’s help today for a couple things. We were back before 11 AM and truck with our appliances sitting on road. Had messages on our answering machine(3), but could not understand any of them as English so broken up. Watched as truck left. Husband called number they had called on and he thought they said they couldn’t get up our driveway. It was a Penske truck. Never had a problem with any truck or delivery getting up our driveway before. After numerous phone calls to different places as they always send you to another number to call, they are now going to send our appliances out on a smaller truck but your guess is as good as mine when that will happen! They are suppose to let us know. I won’t hold my breath!

I am very disappointed that I fell for the bait at Lowe's for a $29 heater "tune-up". After waiting three days because they didn't show for the original appointment, the tech arrived and went into the attic to service my unit which turned out to only be an inspection to bring in a salesman to pitch high priced units from $10kK to $35K. I was even told that one of my ducts was partially disconnected but the tune up nor either of the two could re-secure it. I, took my 63 years old self up the steps to discover that it was on the front of the unit directly up the stairs and only needed duct tape or a new zip tie.
I was also told that the tune-up included a filter change, but I had just changed mine a few days prior so it's didn't apply and when ask if he could leave the replacement filter, I was told that they would only be changing the filter with mine if supplied. The sales pitch lasted longer than the "tune-up" and both were a waste of time and $29. I will stick with my normal service company that actually performs "service" instead "sales". I only agreed to this because of Lowe's, I I guess they don't vet vendors or get a kick back. Very disappointed!!!!

If you contract with any Lowe's store for any service, be prepared for the worst. I contracted for new kitchen cabinets and quartz countertops. The contractors contaminated my house with silica dust in the process of installing the cabinets and the countertops. It has taken me over a year to clear the air in the living space, but half of the house remains dangerously contaminated. My eyes burn when I go in there to retrieve something. I have a lingering cough. I have seen doctors numerous times for pulmonary distress.
When you contract with Lowe's you sign an agreement to settle disputes through arbitration. This isn't for your benefit. It's for Lowe's benefit. Your case isn't a matter of public record, so unless you check Yelp or Houzz, this site or others like it, you won't read anything about Lowe's' disasters. My Google review no longer appears in a search for the store that sold me the project. The BBB expunged a bunch of SERIOUS complaints about the retailer of the quartz countertop (Stone Interiors) and awarded it a rating of A+.
After 20 months, arbitration is stalled. Does Lowe's care about the mess it made? Nope. Lowe's didn't even bother to respond to my complaint to the North Carolina Department of Justice Consumer Protection. Lowe's customer service and claims department is no help. I went through no less than six CSRs. Though Lowe's is self-insured, its claims agent pushed my complaints off to other insurance companies and to the contractors who pushed it off to their insurance companies whose policies exclude claims arising from contamination of silica dust. It went around in circles until I got to arbitration and someone woke up and got a continuance (a delay) so that the responsible contractor could get a lawyer. (That's a simplification of the problem).
Now the problem is in its Twentieth month and half of my house is still contaminated. I have missed entertaining friends and family for every holiday since February 27, 2024. Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming up, and I doubt the problem will be solved by Easter 2026. Marvin Ellison, CEO of Lowe's, was named SHRM's "Ethical Leader of 2024". What a hoot. In an article written about him, he extolled the virtues of his employees who "embody Lowe’s values as they work every day to earn the trust and respect of our customers and communities.” Right-o. Thanks for pointing that out, Mr. $18M paycheck CEO. The problems at Lowe's start at the top. Before you enter into a contract with Lowe's, ask yourself, "How lucky do I feel today ?"

Pro app takes your money, says it paid for, gives you a delivery date and or says working on your order. Money is now gone from your card. Then often like hour later they try running card again and money isn't there (using Lowe's preload) then cancels your order. Meanwhile you're waiting on materials to work and every number you call says they can't do anything to help and gives you another number that doesn't pick up or can't get thru or tells you to call another number. Meanwhile... your money is lost for 24 to 48 hours. So they take your money, will not give you what's purchased, you will have text showing purchases and delivery dates but all the rep you call will just say "something wrong with your card." Happen many times... Money disappears from account for a while and they gaslight you into thinking you did something wrong. Broken system with many glitches.
"Go to pro desk" for your pro needs they say... just get interrupted by others... No focus on your purchase... So they say call in... hang up or put on hold.... They say email order... They drag their feet or get lazy and just get you shelve price and not pro saving if they even get around to your email... Can't hardly give them my money and when I do they make it disappear for periods of time and set up services to "not answer" your calls. Over the last few years I have spent maybe 100 hours trying to fix the online issues... I guess that's on me after a couple hours of nonsense.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM LOWE'S IN WALDORF, MD. A total lack of customer care after they get your money (order was over $10,000.00). First order was botched up and no follow-up; had to go into the store to get any information on the order. Once the order arrived, they ordered the wrong items, so had to go through a complete re-order. Second order scheduled to arrive, and ZERO follow up by the employee who ordered the item twice. When I called on numerous occasions (over ten times), tried to reach the employee at their extension...no body answered almost every time I called; one time an employee answered, placed me on hold, then disconnected me. Again, had to drive to the store to find out status of the second order.
Every time I call to speak to that department it is a 20 minute hold on average fiasco. Two weeks after the first order botch-up, the second order didn't arrive on the scheduled date (no call from the employee or the department on order status), still no order feedback on the second order. The employees in that department are totally incompetent lazy people just collecting a paycheck. The Store Manager should be placed on probation. Purchased a Bosch dishwasher from Lowe’s, installed on Friday. By Monday (3 days later) we realized the unit was defective and contacted Lowe’s immediately. Because we were past their 48 hour policy (which we were completely unaware of as no one says anything to you and it's just in the footnotes of an email), Lowe’s refused to take responsibility.
They offered to send an installer (which I already paid $250 for) to “confirm” whether the issue was installation related. I explained it appeared to be a manufacturer defect, not an installation problem. Lowe’s stated that if the installer confirmed it was a manufacturer defect, then I would have to deal with Bosch myself. Meaning warranty claims, service scheduling, and repairs on a dishwasher that has never worked as intended since day one.
I understand defects can happen. What matters is how a company handles them. Lowe’s chose to hide behind a policy technicality instead of supporting a customer who paid for a new, working appliance. I expected better accountability and customer service. I do not recommend anyone purchasing appliances from Lowe’s.

This week, I went online to purchase a large Halloween decoration that I could not find anywhere else. The system showed two in stock and I was able to complete the order. One day before delivery, I received a text to verify address and then replied with a text will come the next day showing the delivery window. The next day, I did receive an email stating your truck is canceled. Sorry, your item is out of stock. Two days before Halloween and no 7' werewolf in sight. It's crazy, if you take the time to look at reviews on different sites I see 2.2 or even lower. Lowe's is just not worth going to any further.

The sales staff in the store were great, and I decided to take advantage of a carpet sale. The contracting installation company came out to measure. Lowe's Central Sales sent me the bait and switch seam scam where they give you a drawing that has a seam in a high traffic area (middle of the hall? - come on guys) and then present you with another drawing that requires more carpet (wink wink). I ended up selecting a different (cheaper) carpet for two sets of stairs and a cheaper pad for all of the carpet while keeping the very thick carpet for the bedrooms. Lo and behold, the estimate was nearly the same as with all expensive carpet and the elite pad. Huh? I finally went and measured all of my spaces and found Lowe's had padded (no pun intended) the carpet quote by over 225 sq ft and then added 24 units of the cheaper padding to the original quote as well as additional labor for the exact same installation. Is this illegal? Definitely unethical.
The Central Sales staff person, Ms. **, has been downright unhelpful. I asked her to send my concerns to her supervisor. She said she would but there has been no response. I have asked for a re-measure to compare their room by room measurements to mine. No response so far. Very non-transparent process, very ugly experience but I want to hold them accountable so I'm going to keep emailing and calling. This is a big company and the Central Sales Team needs an overhaul. Surely Lowe's can do better.

Poor communication, unpleasant delivery people who delivered our trim and put it directly on dirt (I had to scold them and get 4x4s to put underneath), horrible salesman type contractor (Kris) who upsold us expensive doors claiming the “cheap ones on the sales floor in Lowe’s are poor quality and to definitely not get those”. All around horrible experience and way more expensive than it should have been.

Management did not fix it. Never took care of anything. The wrong machine was picked up and now I am out over a $1000.00 and I still don't have a washing machine. It's been almost a week and a 1/2. Because management had no follow through I will more than likely be out another week. Before I can even get my refund and buy a machine. If Paul had paid attention in the first place none of this would have happened. If the management had follow through it would have been corrected. Do not shop here for any sort of appliances. They hide behind polices when things go wrong and do not follow through with promises.

My wife and I purchased a ceiling fan through the Lowe's Application and to get same day delivery, we paid $4.99. Firstly, it was delivered to another home in the neighborhood. Secondly, it was obviously previously purchased, used then returned. Finally the fan was missing wire nuts and the remote control. On 18 October, we went to store 2898 to return the item for a refund and asked that the $4.99 be refunded as well, seeing that we paid for the delivery to (our home) of a new and complete item. (Something we obviously did not receive.) Unfortunately, the manager, Frank said Lowe's does not refund delivery charges regardless of the fact that we paid for the delivery of a used incomplete item.
After a lengthy discussion, Frank said, "Would it make you feel better if I gave you $5.00 out of my own pocket?" Our response was, it's not about the money, it's about the principle of being charged for a very poor delivery service as well as paying for the delivery of an incomplete and used item. After thankfully accepting the $5.00, Frank walked away making snide and belittling comments about us being cheap to the customers waiting in the return line as the customers laughed. We did not appreciate being treated like this and being publicly embarrassed and humiliated for only asking that Lowe's does what could be reasonably expected.

I paid Lowe’s to install my kitchen cabinets, my appliances and my countertops. Every process was a nightmare. My cabinets came damaged and even the new cabinets that they sent came damaged and I was buying kraft made. When they installed my island, they left a huge gaps and I had to pay out-of-pocket to buy trim to fix it. Not only that when I bought my appliances, I bought an induction oven the Samsung refrigerator and the Samsung microwave now there were two things going on at once there was if you bought the induction range you got the free cookware and if you bundled your appliances, you got a rebate back of some money so the salesman handed me those two rebate tickets to say hey you’re gonna get cookware because this is an induction oven and it requires special cookware and you’re gonna get money back because you bundled more than one appliance long story short none of that is true.
The rebate center came back and said oh no you’re supposed to have just chose one. No one at Lowe’s knows what the other one is doing. They subcontract so much that the people that show up your at your house have less knowledge than you and I barely have any knowledge. When my oven came brand new out of the box, it was broken. They had to send me another one. I am so frustrated because I have given Lowe so much money and this is how they treat their customers Oh, I’m sorry but that’s a lie. You can’t have both well then I would like to know why the sales associate gave me both of those rebates. One I wouldn’t have wasted my time filling out that paperwork and to the Customer Service people at the rebate center were terrible because when you submitted First online then you have to wait for an email and they will deny you even though you have all the proper receipts.
Then they will tell you that you have to call a number so you call the number and they will say oh yeah you’re gonna get that and you think OK cool this is gonna work out then they email you back and tell you you’re denied again and you’re like well. Why am I denied because when I called you when you told me to call you told me I qualified for both rebates and now they’re saying oh well you don’t qualify for both rebates. Then they make you resend your receipts because they say they cannot get them because they’re blurry but they are not blurry on my end because when I zoom in I can see it so then they deny you and tell you to call again and then they tell you to email him which I’ve already done four times so today I had to call again because I got another denial because they said my item was not correct but my item was correct.
They even told me it was correct but whoever scanning the receipts I guess who ever scans receipts just doesn’t wanna do their job because when I called the first time we went over that and we read the serial number and she goes, "Yes you do qualify for that and you do qualify for the other rebate because one was a bundle and one was just what you got if you bought that stove as in the appliances" but after today I was told I had to just choose one so I’m obviously going to choose the higher one which would be the bundle, but it’s hilarious because I would’ve not bought this stove because it has to have special cookware so the special cookware actually made that stove smart to buy because then you can cook on it. So I’ve had this stove since September and I have not even been able to cook one thing on it that is on the cooktop. I know I’m only one person but I would shop any other store other than Lowe’s because no one knows what the other one’s doing and they just sell you lies. Which you pay top dollar for.

My fiancé and I wanted window treatments for our home, so we went to Lowe’s. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to get help, let alone find anyone who had been trained in the window treatment department. Everyone we spoke to was kind and honest about not knowing much about that area, but it took three separate visits before we finally found someone who could assist us. That person entered our order into the computer and told us we had to pay online — we later learned this is because the service person receives a commission from online sales. Later that day, another employee called and sent me a payment link, which I completed on August 7th.
After waiting the full delivery period, Lowe’s sent an installer — an older man who seemed nervous and grumpy from the start. He became defensive any time we asked a question, as if we were bothering him. He installed the bedroom shades but said it was “normal” that they didn’t work properly and looked uneven. He also pointed out that the wrong product had been sent, insisting it wasn’t his fault (even though we never suggested it was). Lowe’s then sent three more installers, all of whom told us nothing was wrong. Finally, the fourth installer — a kind young man — immediately saw the issue and confirmed that the shades had indeed been installed incorrectly.
We returned to Lowe’s to resolve the ongoing problem and met Kim, who was truly the angel in this nightmare. She was knowledgeable, proactive, and kind. She reordered all the window treatments and arranged for a professional installer, who did an excellent job. Everything was finally completed correctly on October 23rd — more than two months after our initial order. The product itself is good, but the process was long, frustrating, and completely exhausting. It honestly felt like a second job just to get the order finished. While I appreciate Kim’s help and the final result, I’m not sure I would ever order window treatments from Lowe’s again.

I realize that all large stores have had to economize on payroll but Lowes has overdone it. Managers are nowhere to be found. My specific experience today was in the lumber department where I wanted to buy some baseboard molding.
After a 5 minute wait I expanded my search as far down as the carpet dept. but still there was no employee in sight. This indicated that almost a quarter of the entire store was unstaffed. I patrolled the entire area for at least another 5 minutes and gave up. I realize I could have commented to the ladies at the check out area for them to phone someone but by then I had lost interest. The employees probably do not know about covering for each other. but Management surely do and it is their failure which will take this otherwise convenient store down.

Our experience with Lowe's was awful from start to finish. My husband and I were looking to replace our patio door with French doors. We went to the store and they took our information and sent someone to our home to take measurements, I picked out the color of the hardware, etc. in October of last year. They called in January and came out either the end of January or February. When they started I had to miss work and they couldn't install the doors because the measurements were wrong, so a day off work and doors unable to be installed. Doors finally came in the end of March, again, no hardware. So I called the guy who sat with us and he argued with me that I did not pick out the hardware. I said, "How could I pick out new doors but no handles???" He brought me some doorknobs that he grabbed from the store, dropped them off on my front porch and left.
To my surprise these were not the handles I originally picked out. I was so frustrated and just wanted this project to be over. When the guys came back to place it, the screens didn't come in so we had to wait two more months. While waiting for the screens one evening my granddaughters were sitting in the kitchen at the island eating ice cream and the French doors flew open! Thank God I was in there with them. It was almost midnight and very windy that night. The locks had come uneven and when we thought it was locked it wasn't. My husband called the next day and was told when they bring the screens they will check the lock. Well, a month and a half later, the screens were in but no work order to fix the locks and the one guy said they wouldn't get paid for the job if they did it because it wasn't on the work order! We had to wait another two weeks before someone came out and said it wasn't on right from the beginning!
We were told we couldn't call for compensation until after the work was done and they offered us $1000, we said no, then $1200 and that is their final offer, we said $1500 because of our time taken off of work and still the job wasn't completed and just the overall inconvenience of this. I will NEVER do business with Lowe's again, especially for a home improvement job. Our doors are nice but when I tell family & friends what we had to endure, they're going where we should have, Menards or Home Depot!

I wish I could give Lowe’s zero stars for this nightmare of a “door installation.” What should have been a simple project turned into 6+ months of lies, shortcuts, damage, and complete lack of accountability. I paid Lowe’s $1,700 for a custom door and “professional installation.” The first door came in wrong. Instead of owning up to it, they actually tried to convince me it was correct. I had to call the manufacturer myself to prove Lowe’s was lying — it was unfinished, just like I suspected. That’s the level of honesty I’ve been dealing with.
After dragging me along for months, they reordered. I thought maybe it would finally be done right. Nope. The second door came damaged, the framing was done wrong, and worst of all, the installer framed the wall directly on top of my floating vinyl floor. Any real contractor knows that voids the warranty and ruins the floor. He was also cutting something on top of the floor and put in a huge cut across two boards. A flooring company gave me a written estimate for $800 in damage just to fix what Lowe’s caused. And now to fix it, everything they did — the wall, the door, the frame — has to be completely ripped out and redone. So what exactly did I pay them for?
Let’s not forget the quality — paint chips everywhere, sloppy cuts, shortcuts at every step. Nothing about it was professional. And the customer service? Endless follow-ups, vague promises, and wasted hours of my time. Even the store supervisor admitted their work was a mess, but when it came to actually making it right, Lowe’s corporate only offered me $450 total. That doesn’t even cover the floor damage, let alone the install I paid nearly $800 for. They called it a “fair” offer. In what world is that fair?
Bottom line: I paid for a professional install and got lies, damage, and months of stress. Lowe’s refused to take responsibility, even after the BBB got involved. Everything they touched has to be redone, and they still want me to settle for less than what they broke. That’s not professional service — it’s embarrassing. If you value your time, your money, or your home, do not hire Lowe’s for installation. They’ll take your money, cut corners, and leave you to clean up the mess.

We met with **, one of your kitchen designers, to design and order new cabinets. During our consultation, we specifically stated multiple times that we wanted cabinets with hardwood doors and drawers, not MDF. Ms. ** assured us that the Shenandoah Breckenridge cabinets we selected were made of hardwood. Relying on that information, we placed an order totaling over $15,000.
When the cabinets arrived, we discovered that the doors and drawers were made of MDF, not hardwood as promised. This is false information that directly influenced our purchase decision. Providing incorrect product details to make a sale is unacceptable and misleading to customers. I have already received a quote from another company estimating $5,000 just to replace the MDF doors and drawers with true hardwood.
Additionally, the Lowe’s contractor who came to measure our kitchen either measured incorrectly or the designer entered incorrect dimensions. As a result, the cabinet sizes were wrong, and our cooktop did not align with the vent. Many of the cabinet doors and drawers were also not seamless, unlike the store display. We had to place multiple new orders to correct these mistakes. We spoke with Store Manager **, who told us we would be compensated for the inconvenience and errors, but to date, nothing has happened.
When the new order arrived on October 9, 2025, three of the cabinets were still incorrect. We had to return them to the store and place yet another order. Both ** (designer) and ** (department manager) refused to take responsibility for the mistakes, and when we raised the issue again, ** brushed us off, saying he would “try to get to us.” This dismissive attitude is deeply frustrating and unprofessional.
As of today, October 9, 2025, we still do not have a functioning kitchen, and it has already been nearly two months. We have five children, and being without a kitchen for this long is creating a serious hardship for our family. Please investigate this matter immediately. I am requesting: A full review of this order and the misinformation provided by the designer. Appropriate compensation for the delays, incorrect orders, and misleading product information. A prompt resolution that ensures our kitchen is completed correctly. Our purchase order number is PO# **.

We placed an order for a refrigerator on Aug 25, 2025, only to find out it was delayed because the connection part for the ice maker was not available. So, we went to the store and they cancelled the order and completed a new order. Got the new refrigerator, but it had some defects and the delivery crew did not know how to install the extra ice-maker. We called Lowe's and told them we wanted another refrigerator because of defects and mentioned the delivery crew did not know how to install the extra ice maker.
Well, in order to get another refrigerator, we had to pay for another one or they would not order it. That is insane, but we had no choice. So we were out $3K on the first fridge and then we put the other purchase on the Lowe's Card, which was another $3K. No exchanges were allowed at the time, only option was to buy another one and wait for a refund after the other one was returned.
Needless to say, the third-party delivery crew did a horrible job trying to install the extra ice-maker and it was hanging down and the freezer drawer would not close all the way. Big Mess!! So, I called Lowe's after the delivery when I noticed the freezer drawer would not close all the way, which was caused by the faulty ice-maker installation. And, they did not turn on the ice-maker, so we were without use an ice-maker and the freezer because we had to remove the freezer containers so the door would close all the way.
NOTE: Worse part of this whole ordeal was that we were not refunded for the first fridge after it was returned. I called the local Lowe's and they couldn't help because they said the 3rd party company XDT was supposed to show it picked up and then enter the information for a refund. Lowe's manager got Lowe's Customer Care on the phone and they told us that there was no record of the other refrigerator being picked up.
Lowe's Customer Care finally called the third-party company to inform them of the problem and they were supposed to send me an email about the refund before the end of the day...which did not happen. So, here we are out $6K on between the first and second purchase and still no fully operable refrigerator and still NO REFUND. I asked the Customer Care representative if I could have the phone number to XDT, but she said because of company policy, they can't give me that number.
If I would not have pushed real hard for Lowe's Customer Care to investigate the issue, we would be at a dead end for sure. Hopefully, we don't have to file a legal lawsuit to get our money back because the crew that picked up the defective refrigerator did not turn in any paperwork to show the refrigerator was being returned for a refund. WARNING: Do not buy any appliances, AC system, or any other large item from Lowe's. They are good about returns on small items, but when it comes to appliances, it is a nightmare.

In fact, Lowe's emailed me to confirm that "my money was at the store." They instructed me to go to their online page for instructions, but in doing so, the page that I was supposed to pull up "was not available." So, I went to the store. The sales lady this time didn't know what I was talking about, so I asked for the manager. A young lady claiming to be the manager also didn't know what I was talking about. Then a third person (I'll not mention his name at this time) told me to make a copy of the online instructions so that he could review it. I did that, but upon return, he passed me off to another person who also had to ask yet another person to figure it out. This last person said that I needed to pull up the Apple App and follow their instructions. I lost my temper.
I am an 81 year old disabled veteran who is not exactly computer savvy, but that didn't seem to matter. I left the store without the rebate that I was promised. I had a 12x8' garden shed installed on a concrete slab. The installer notified me 8 pm the night before he would be there at 6:30 am. He shows up and claims it's not in his contract to attach it to the floor as it was not in his contract. No pre-installation notes or guidelines regarding the flooring. He was forced to attach it to the concrete after I complained to his boss so he used nails, didn't square it to the slab and piled the dirt up to over the edge of the wood. Bad communication for pre install, bad execution of a vague contract, poor craftsmanship, and over priced. I will not use Lowe's installation service again. I would have had much much better results using a contractor of my choice. He refused to address anything to do with the floor saying it was not in his contract. I had to complain loudly to get a hole drilled to use the latch on the bottom of the door.

Lowe's and its install company, Install Partners LLC, are worthless. All Lowes wants is your money and then move on to the next victim. Ordered my windows in March and Lowes still has not have them all replaced yet. It's almost 9 months since this nightmare began and pretty sure it will be going into next year. My wife and I picked out a dirt lot and had a complete house built in 8 months back in 2021 and we can't get 12 windows replaced in a year with Lowes. You can't sue them because of the stupid arbitration agreement in the fine print in the contract. Install Partners LLC, head quarters near Ft. Worth, Texas have a "F" rating will the BBB and all the complaints are just like the ones here. They also do a crappy job of installing windows. Corporate Lowes could care less and seem overwhelmed with complaints to ever talk to you or call you back when they say they are. Bottom line is - DO NOT USE LOWES FOR ANYTHING!

Do not order anything from Lowe’s — their delivery service is completely unreliable and unprofessional. My delivery was rescheduled three different times, each one due to their own mistakes. Every time I called, I was transferred between multiple people before anyone could give me a straight answer. At one point, they told me the delivery team wasn’t “comfortable” bringing my order down my street, so they promised to send a smaller truck the next day. I was told I’d be the first stop, but when I checked, I was actually the fourth.
When I called to ask what happened, they admitted my product wasn’t even on the truck because they forgot to update their system. The next day, they called again, saying the smaller truck couldn’t deliver because it might block a neighbor’s driveway — even though I had already spoken to my neighbors and they were fine with it. There was plenty of parking space, but instead of figuring it out, they just made excuses. At that point, I canceled the entire order. Lowe’s clearly has poor communication, unskilled drivers, and no accountability. I won’t be ordering from them again, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to either.

I really wish I came to this website before working with Lowe's. I am going through a door installation project and it is a nightmare. The process started exactly 4 months ago. Still, I do not have the door. After the project manager and installer coming and measuring multiple times, the door order was placed. The door arrived and by the time the installer came for installation, it was found that the door was built to open in the opposite swing direction. A replacement order was placed and the worst experience just got started. On the delivery day, the truck was broken and hence got scheduled for another day. The next time, the delivery team tried to deliver before the scheduled delivery window and hence did not get delivered. The story goes on.... Will never work with Lowes.

I already placed a Google review of Lowe's Cartersville, Ga. Lowe's delivered my neighbor's lumber to my driveway by mistake in Sept. 2025. In the process, marked up my new driveway all over with black tractor marks. I had to pay to pressure wash my entire driveway again. Well, they responded on my review, asked me to call the customer service dept. to make it right. 800-445-6937. So, I called after many attempts on my part to get them to clean up my driveway to no avail. So, I was told they would give me 15.00 Lowe's Gift Card, but could I give them a great review.
They really wanted the POSITIVE REVIEW. Not trusting that they would deliver on the gift card, I did not want to give that review. A week later, NO GIFT CARD. So, now I must give them an additional BAD REVIEW for trying to trick me into the SCAM of getting a GOOD REVIEW. Lowe's has not only lost my business, but I trust that other homeowners will read this and be warned about how Lowe's really treats people.

Did a kitchen remodel through Lowe’s for our 30th wedding anniversary. This was the absolute worst experience of our lives. Every step of the process with Lowe’s has been painful, screwed up, and messed up, it started with the measurements and went downhill from that. The process from demolition to finally been completed was over 10 months. I have lost track of the phone calls. I’ve had arguing with Lowe’s to try and get things done, trying to get things shipped in on time, trying to get things scheduled, trying to find out where material is. The installers left messes in the kitchen that would’ve been just covered up with cabinets if I had not cleaned them myself. Craft made sent multiple pieces of cabinetry that were scrapped or damaged. Since the measurements were incorrect, I have multiple defects in my floor now that I have to pay to get corrected. I have spent countless hours on the phone while trying to finish my work and other responsibilities.
Now, to top it off the Lowe’s install team has offered to compensate me for all of the troubles on this $30,000 plus project. Their compensation for all of these issues was a whopping $550. That should be enough to tell you what Lowe’s thinks of their customers I have canceled my Lowe’s credit card and I will never step foot and another Lowe’s store due to this experience. I would not recommend Lowe’s installation team for anything. I don’t think they could install a toilet paper roll correctly. People at the store tried to make things right to the extent they could, but that is where any assistance ended do not use loads for anything related to a remodel project.

I bought a counter plus install from Lowe's. It has been a terrible experience since the beginning. I went in and was given a quote. Had to put a percentage down to get things moving. A person comes over to measure. The initial amount went up without my approval so the money I paid to start this should have rose as well? Lowe's policy is: 'The installers do not remove sinks. It is up to the customer.' Thought I could do it. Turns out I am unable to take the sink out. The installers call to tell me they're a few minutes from my house. I told the person that I am not able to take the sink out so do I have to cancel and reschedule? He said, "No, we will take it out for you.' They took it out, put the counter on then replaced the sink. I didn't have water for a week.
My mom has a friend that her son is an apprentice. He came over and said the installers broke the faucet. The hoses were filled with whatever they were cutting. Had to get a new faucet (120$) and tipped the person twice for each visit (80$). I went to the store and they subcontract so there isn't anything they can do for me. They gave me an 877 number to call. I contact them just to be transferred to another department.
The backsplash is not flush with the wall so goes at an angle. There is a seam across the top and the sink hole was not cut correctly so the its edges are sticking out. After many, many calls and emails a person comes over. He looked at it and says that it was 'cut too short here and too long there.' His visit here was not documented for whatever the reason? The installers say that 'the wall is wavy' so that is why the backsplash isn't flush with the wall. The old one was flush, though. They also claim that I had the sink out when they arrived.
Lowe's sticks with what the installers say as they should. I have sent them the same pictures over and over. Would like a person to come over and fix this. Told them that I didn't want anyone from the company over here because of all of the discrepancies. What I meant was I don't want the same two guys here. Turns out they are the only two people that can come. What do they do if they have more than one job a day? They're coming over this week after around a year. Please, see the attached pictures. Let me know if the wall is 'wavy'?

My father and I stopped in tonight to grab 3 bolts. We walked in the door at 7:50pm. Headed straight to hardware. We were stopped 5 times on the way being informed they closed at 8pm. Within 5 min we had bolts in hand and ready to go before some jackwad basically forced us to leave, following us extremely too close for comfort and treating us like criminals. We were back in vehicle at 8pm. They couldn't allow an extra minute for us to get what we already had and check out. Extremely rude and if hadn't been stopped 5 times being informed they closed at 8pm, we would've gotten what we needed and been gone.
Well, there's Home Depot and I actually ordered what I needed from Amazon being delivered tomorrow. What I needed would've cost around $15.00 for 3 bolts. I'm getting a set of 135 assorted bolts from Amazon that are exactly what I need instead of settling for what Lowe's had for $22.00. Thank you for the outstanding criminal treatment. Not the first problem I've had at this location. I've had good experiences at this location, but this one took the cake. For more than a year Lowe's Home Improvement has been charging me a $1.99 paper statement fee every month on my Lowes credit card. They want their customers to go to electronic statements to boost their corporate profits by lowering the costs associated with printing statements and mailing them. I already pay them electronically every month so there are no physical checks to process on my behalf. Maybe that's the problem, no late fees or interest charges.
My local store has also switched over to self-check-out so they don't have to pay cashier's salaries. I guess this will give employees more time to stand around and chat with each other. There are always shelves to straighten and carefully making sure that the right product is in the correct location. What's next, are they going to expect customers to stock the shelves?
Sending out written statements is an intrinsic cost of providing goods and services. I called customer service and gave them a choice: stop charging me the statement fees or cancel my card. They told me they couldn't prevent the fees from accruing. So, I told them to cancel my card. Now Lowe's can pay Visa 2+% of every transaction when I use my all-purpose credit card rather than the Lowe's specific credit card.
I have had enough of corporate greed. Price are up, quality is down and corporations are collecting data about their customers every which way: through web traffic navigation and through their purchase histories and looking to sell this data to third parties or to send direct solicitations to customers. They want to get your phone number as part of the check-out process, trying to get you to choose to have receipts emailed to you.
Is there a limit to corporate greed? How about using good customer service to boost sales and customer fidelity? Lowe's doesn't care about the environment. That's not why they are trying to discourage customers from receiving paper statements, to save trees. That's just the corporate marketing of the policy. No, the only green they care about is money.

Do not shop at Lowe's. I purchased a new toilet seat online SOLELY based on the very clear promise of free delivery and free returns. I inadvertently chose the wrong size. When I tried to get return label I was told this item was NOT eligible for free returns (in spite of the disclosure on the website) as it was "direct shipped." First I was given the option of driving to the Lowe's in another state - the one it was shipped from. There is no Lowe's near me -- which was the next option. And in any case, my taking time and gasoline to return the item is not my definition of "FREE".
Next I tried engaging with customer service in writing, as the phone based help turned out to be useless. I waited 10 days for the first response, and when I finally heard back, in spite of their false promises, I was told again that there was no option but for me to DRIVE to Lowe's or pay to return it myself. Lowes simply told me to go contact the product manufacturer when they could have just replaced the product themselves. So their so called satisfaction guarantee is a lie. They simply washed their hands of responsibility if difficulty arises.

I purchased a 26KW Generac Generator with installation from Lowe's on November 22, 2024. The installation company, Premier Construction, sent out their man to look at the job and to see what would be needed. I live in the country and have three meter bases served by one meter on the power pole. One for the house, one for the garage, and one for the barn. The representative from Premier said that there wouldn't be a problem, but they would probably need to have two load managers on the system for the spa and jacuzzi so that the generator wouldn't be overloaded when starting.
On January 9, 2025 they came out to install the generator. When they completed the wiring for the generator and filling open slots in the breaker box for the house, they said they were done. They did not install any load managers. I asked what about the gas hook-up and they said the company would contact me for that. On the night of January 11, the main breaker box for the house shorted out. Apparently one of the buss bars was knocked loose by forcing a breaker onto the bar by the Premier crew. I tried to contact Premier by phone and email and got no response. I had to kill the power to the house to keep it from catching fire. The following morning, Sunday, I had to get a new breaker box and have it installed.
I contacted Lowe's on Monday and was told they would contact the contractor. Premier denied that they had even touched the box. I told them they needed to look at their before and after pictures of the box that they had worked on. On January 16 they came out to hook up the gas to the generator. They didn't have what they needed; they were short of copper tubing and fittings. They came back the next day and still didn't have what they needed. They had to go back to town to get what was missing. After the gas was hooked up and they tried to run the generator, it would run but not go into standby mode. They left with the generator turned off.
On January 20, I contacted Lowe's via email because no one would answer the phone at installation made easy, about the breaker box issues, the generator not working, and the mobile link not working. I still had no response form Lowe's by January 25. On January 27, I contacted Premier and he stated that this is not his issue and I needed to contact Lowe's. Lowe's told me to contact Premier. On February 16, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I heard from Lowe's executive customer relations the same day. On Feb. 17 I informed Lowe's ECR about all of the issues so far. He said they would make sure everything was made right and wanted me to close out the BBB complaint. The state inspector came out and failed the install for the way the wiring was done, no load managers, and no bonding between the breaker boxes.
On Feb. 22, Lowe's sent me a request for payment. The BBB was updated on numerous occasions throughout this process and every time, Lowe's ECR would request that I close out the complaint. Through March and April, Premier would come out and try to make the corrections to be able to pass the inspection. The load managers that were put in initially were too small for the load. When the 100 amp load managers were put in, they hummed constantly and got very hot. On May 16 I took pictures of the load managers with a thermal imaging camera and sent them to Premier. I contacted Generac about the load managers humming and being hot and was told that they should not hum or get that hot. I contacted Lowe's ECR again and sent him the pictures. I was told that they were told that it was normal.
On June 6 I again contacted Generac about the load managers and was told that it was not normal. They said the contacts could be set in an open or closed mode and should not hum or heat up. They gave me the contact information for 5 Generac contractors that I could contact to come out and fix the issue. Premier was not one of them. I told Lowe's ECR what Generac had told me and he said I could have the issue resolved with one of those contractors at my own expense. On June 25, five and a half months after this fiasco started, the installation passed inspection.
On July 2 Lowe's ECR contacted me and requested that I sign the installed sales release-retain warranty document. They offered to give me $600 for my trouble and for the cost of the breaker box and installation. In the document, it has a non-disparagement clause, that states you can't say anything negative about Lowe's or its' contractor. I told him that I will not sign the form, because I need to leave an honest and truthful review. On July 3 he stated he would move the case to closure.
On July 9, I signed the completion. So now that the project is complete, I have the generator connected to the garage and the house. The barn could not be connected, so I had to have a separate meter placed there that will cost me about $25 a month because I use minimum power there. So far the generator is operating as it should, but the base is already unlevel, as they just pushed some dirt under the back of the pad to get it level on the install. I still have load managers that hum and are very hot, but the contractor told me that all I have to do after the inspection was to turn them off. I would never recommend that anyone use Lowe's or Premier Construction for the purchase or installation of a home generator. Premier apparently does not understand the electrical codes of Tennessee and I am not impressed at all with the quality of the work.
Lowe's customer service was nonexistent until I had to get the Better Business Bureau involved. Once I did that, it seemed to be Lowe's main focus to get the BBB complaint closed, not resolved. Once the complaint was closed with the BBB, Lowe's attitude changed to, sorry for your problems but deal with it. Twice during this ordeal, I tried to have Lowe's come and take the generator back and refund my money. I was told they don't give refunds. BUYER BEWARE!!! Here it is September 17 and I am not sure when or if my warranty is in effect. I was supposed to get the five year extended warranty, it was the special at the time of purchase, but I keep getting offers from Generac to extend my warranty to 5 years. Again, I would stay away from Lowe's and Premier Construction.

Had to talk to four different representatives in which none of them offered a solution but instead said I could complete the purchase through the chat which took most of the day today because I had to manually send item numbers and quantities, review what order I was trying to place, and then reset my password multiple times just to access the gift cards I had on my account and then manually input those. The second order was supposed to be a cancellation but they just revamped the first order so it was lost in the system. Third times the charm 🤣 they cancelled order number 1 and 1a and entered a new order. I am in the system now but… I’ve talked to robots, humans and who knows what. Over three hours on the phone and I still haven’t talked to a scheduler to install my dishwasher.
The original order was placed on 9/4/25. I’ve been charged twice for the order and so far I haven’t received a credit on my card for the first order that was cancelled (twice). That probably means more of my time trying to get a credit back to my card. Never again. Update as I write; the appointment has finally been scheduled for 9/22. I was originally told installs were about a week out. 2 1/2 weeks?!!! And at least three hours of my time. I paid $209 for installation plus three hours of my time! Can you tall I’m frustrated. Give myself a pat on the back. I haven’t lost it once. Very close and I warned one person I might cry because I am too nice to be to yell at them. On 5/8/24 I bought a Kobalt Cordless Electric chainsaw from them. I salesman said I should also get a matching pole chain saw. I told him I had one, loved it, & used it regularly, that's why I was getting a regular chainsaw from them too. He suggested I buy a back-up chain for the pole saw so when it dulled, I wouldn't have to stop a job & go buy one. I agreed. He handed me the chain & I checked out. 15 months later I needed to change the chain on the pole saw, but when I tried, I found that it was way too big. I couldn't find my receipt, but went to the store anyways (credit card purchase). I was told in no uncertain terms that being more than a year, without a receipt, there was nothing they could do. What a waste of time. It took me a month before I ran across the receipt. I happily went back to the store.
Even though I now had the receipt they said it didn't matter, there was no refund or exchange. So why did they waste more of my time bringing back a receipt? Their salesman talked me into buying it for use later & then gave me the wrong one. How is this my fault? I don't want my money back, just the right chain for the saw I purchased. Between the 2 saws I spent over $400. Are they seriously going to throw away all my years of being a loyal customer over $20?
When my Kobalt lawnmower stopped working after 35 months, I took it back to PAY for repairs I had no receipt. They said they didn't fix them, but I could just go and get one off of the floor as it still had one month on the warranty. That's why I have stayed a Lowe's customer. Whatever has changed has not been good. I will now likely do most of my shopping at Home Depot or online. I guess I will have to go to Amazon to find a replacement chain for my pole saw. It would be nice if someone in corporate reads this & makes things right.

Went into the Greenwood, South Carolina Lowe’s this morning, which I usually go in there at least once or twice a day during the workdays, I usually spend anywhere from $100-$1000 because I have my own business. I arrived there today needing a bunch of supplies and I needed some paint so I had the lady mix me up some paint and she did not put the lid on correctly so when I got up to the register, they can had accidentally tipped over in the top, fell off of it And paint went everywhere down the side of the can in the top seal of the can. It was just a mess?
I asked the lady at the front counter if I could get a Lowe’s bucket for free to put the pain in so it would not get in my vehicle. She was unable to do that, but she could give me a plastic bag which everyone knows a plastic bag on wet, sticky. Paint is not a good idea. I would’ve never gotten it off the can and it would became a bigger mess than what I had already had she called a manager, and the young lady came up and said no I could not have a bucket. I was being nice whenever the lady asked me beforehand. Would you like to mix up another gallon of paint and to save Lowe’s money? I did not do that. I accepted the can that had some missing out of it and was a disaster on the outside of the paint can with wet paint After the manager told me no I could not have one of the plastic two dollar Lowe’s bucket to put the wet nasty can of paint into.
I wish I would’ve just let them make me another key and Lowe’s would’ve lost about $50 but instead all they did was upset me and piss me off Over a two dollar bucket after I spend thousands of dollars a week in that location. I told my crew to drive an hour to the Home Depot in Simpsonville, South Carolina, that we would no longer do business with the Lowe’s and Greenwood over a two dollar blue bucket after getting the paint in my car by the time I got to the site. Yes, there was paint on my carpet.
I really think you need to train your managers better on customer service. These girls see me in there every day and no, I’m a steady customer why they would not give me a two dollar blue bucket to put the can of paint that they did not put the lid on correctly. Blows my mind And just shows me that these people have not been trained on customer service. I’m looking at the rating of this location, it’s a 1.3 now I see why I think somebody needs to get involved in this location with some serious training on customer service. You just lost over $100,000 a year with my business over a two dollar blue bucket

We are very disappointed in Lowe's and their customer service. We purchased a Maytag dryer from them less than 3 years ago. We purchased the warranty, which I will never do again. My dryer stopped working in 6/2025. We had a company come out, replaced 2 items and nothing worked. At this point we have gone over a week without a dryer. Luckily a friend had one we could borrow, but it's on it's "last legs" also. We were sent us to another company and they replaced another item and it didn't work. We are having to move dryer to be fixed in and out of house so they can work on. Which means we have to take down door and move dryer we are using out.
We were sent to a 3rd company and was told they would be there on a Friday from 8-12. When he called, he had no idea what was even going on with dryer or what had already been replaced. They didn't call or show up after we had moved everything around and had someone on standby to be at our house while we couldn't. This was the second time we were given a date/time and had no shows. To move all that around was very inconvenient for us, but we had to use a dryer. It is now 9/10/2025. Who can go without a dryer for that long. We had moved dryer in/out 7 times. We had 2 no shows. We were moved around through 3 different companies. Then when we filed another claim, we heard from no one. And you can't talk to anyone. It's that crazy AI.
My husband called 3 times and was promised $75 for our trouble, which we never got. He was told a supervisor would be calling us back. After 3 days of hearing from no one, I called myself last night. Talked to a lady, and gave her all this information and told her we had had enough. We were done dirty and no one wanted to help us. Had we had not bought the warranty, we would not have worried with trying to get it fixed. She told me they would send me a gift card of what the dryer cost, not the total I paid. I told her I would believe it when I see it. Unfortunately, I will have to use the gift card to purchase another at lowes. As far as me and my husband are concerned, we will never use any of our money at lowes. Home Depot will get our business. Surely their customer service is better. Shame on you lowes! Do yourself a favor, and never purchase a warranty. I can promise you, it is not worth what we just went through!!!!

Just hours before delivery, they canceled the biggest part of my order, claiming it was “out of stock.” After contacting customer service, they suddenly “found” the product back in stock but now wanted to charge me the full price—when I originally bought it on sale during their Labor Day promotion. When I spoke to first representative she stated I had to purchase online and call back and give the order number and the case number and they would price match and refund the difference to me. Well that was a complete lie. I called back and It ended up escalated to the manager and she stated she would honor the price match because the previous representative stated she would on the previous call. 45 minutes later with same manager and she stated that she spoke with internal manager. The internal manager stated that since it was showing out of stock, policy stated they could not price match.
Mind you it was out of stock now because the previous representative told me to purchase it, so that I would have an order number to price match. Needless to say it was a manager just trying to find any way to not price match a lower priced item from a different retailer. Even though they constantly market a low price guarantee. The kicker is she also stated I could not cancel the order!! I would have to wait until it shipped to my house and then refuse delivery. I was interested in fencing in a small section of my yard for my 2 dogs. 4 weeks later after multiple requests for an estimate, found out they had 20 % off fencing so I tried again and was told that my original quote was already discounted so I was not eligible for the discount. Not at all professional. I had thought better of Lowe's and was very disappointed. I was planning a front screen door purchase and installation, but forget that now. Nothing that involves installation would I suggest Lowe's.

Hello, after quite a bit of online shopping we decided to purchase our new dishwasher from Lowe's. Upon checkout we were offered to apply for a Lowe's card for more savings. Which I did, and received a discount code. After that I continued to check out. However, the $29 delivery fee went to $79. I called customer service and was told that it should be $29, and continue to place the order and they will take it off after completion. I did, and when the representative tried to take it off as she told me she would, she was not able to do that because the $29 delivery was for retail priced items over $399, and my code brought the sale price below that threshold.
After almost an hour of going through this she connected me to a supervisor name Don (that would not give his operator number), that although he said he had the authority to honor what his customer service rep had promised, he would not do it. Lowe's, you outright lied to me. So for $50 you were willing to lose a customer even though you were the one that used deception and lies. I told them to cancel my order and I will never do business with you again. You may have saved $50, but you lost a long time customer that will never darken your doors again. Pitiful.

If I could rate this review a zero, I would. I ordered a refrigerator from Lowe’s online for my sister. I chose Lowe’s because there was one about 40 miles away so if she had to return it she could. I ordered it on the 18th of August and they originally gave me a delivery date of September 1st. Someone quickly figured out that the first was a holiday and changed it to September 2nd. For two weeks I check the status through my account and Lowe’s website says this refrigerator is scheduled to arrive September 2nd. September 2nd rolls around and no refrigerator. Called the closest store and they indicate that they used an outside vendor for this order but “computer” says it is arriving September 2nd. Called the tracking number to FedEx and they say the refrigerator was never connected to FedEx number- never arrived at spot to be shipped out. Basically, we were not getting refrigerator.
The sad part is when I called the store to let them know about what FedEx said they said if I had ordered through the store they could do something about it but because I ordered online they could do nothing. Basically it is my fault for ordering online. Lowe’s is the one doing business with this outside vendor. Not me. My business is with Lowe’s but they would take no responsibility for this matter at all. Nothing. I’m just left with nothing. So… I insist on talking to manager, now I’m told that the “computer says refrigerator is shipped out September 2nd and will deliver the 8th." FedEx says no tracking number. Still has no product assigned to it. I’m left with no refrigerator and a big hole in wall and still no one will take accountability and still no apology at all. Needless to say, order was cancelled. Never do business with Lowe’s online and never order something from Lowe’s, their vendors are not reliable and they outright lie.

Had a terrible experience. Ordered 2 items separately, had them shipped same day. Guy from outside company that was sent with the items came to our business, never came up front, stopped out back for a second and just continued and left. I called, complained. They had to refund me and I had to order the items again just to get them brought out again. They assured me I was being refunded. Now fast forward almost a month and I still have yet to receive my refunds, also was told I' not getting my shipping back.
Literally am just mind blown with the terrible customer service. not one person can take care of the situation. If I treated my customers like this, I definitely would not have a job or customers anymore. Don't recommend using them for the reason if there is an issue/problem/concern, it will take months to get taken care of. Will definitely be sharing this with anyone I know.

I am particularly upset with Lowe's. I applied for a credit card and received it. I used it once to buy items to remodel my bathroom. I wanted to pay this bill down before I used it again. When I went to use the card again my card declined embarrassingly at the register. I knew this was a mistake because I was approved for a large amount and I was paying it down. The cashier told me to call the creditors but she said I bet they shut your card down for non-use or inactivity. Sure enough when I called this is what I was told. It was less than a year and my double payments did not matter. This was ridiculous. They gave me the card and then took it back. I'm still paying on this card and I will until it is paid off. I will not step foot back in Lowe’s again. I am now a fan of Home Depot. This is the credit card company that Lowe’s chose, so I have to blame them. This is bad business.

Prices cannot be trusted. Lowe's does this on a consistent basis. Almost every single time I'm there. There is a price issue. As you can see from my photos, they tried to do it today. Their excuse is that they have over six hundred price changes a day and they can't keep up. As far as I'm concerned it's fraud. If you think about every store doing this across the country all day long, you're talking about millions of dollars in extra profit that they're making by fraudulently charging more for an item than what it is marked. Not only is it fraud it's illegal. I THINK IT'S TIME TO START GIVING YOUR LOCAL HARDWARE. STORE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY

We purchased a portable air conditioner in July 2025 and my husband and I told the customer service representative of our concerns of the purchase because we bought a similar product at Home Depot and it wouldn't cool the motorhome so we took it back. We took the air conditioner in our motorhome on our trip for 2 months back to our hometown. It did not work as well. We ran the 30 amp air conditioner and when we plugged in the portable to the outside 10 amp it tripped the breaker so therefore did not serve the purpose that we bought it for.
We kept the box, receipt and all items in the box and returned it to the Yuma AZ. store. We were NEVER told they had a 48 hour return policy even after expressing our concerns to the customer service representative of the other problem air conditioner. The lady told us we could have returned it to another Lowe's. We asked to talk to the manager and she said "well that customer service person shouldn't have told you that." I would give them "0" if it were an option. Disabled and purchased a new stackable dryer, top of the line unit with 5 year warranty. Even though I reviewed everything in painstaking detail with pictures to the sales associate on the phone, things did not go as planned. When the order showed up, they refused to install the dryer stating I needed a new stacking kit. Dryer goes back and another call to Lowe's to order the stacking kit and a two week wait to get the unit redelivered with installation. Second attempt, drying shows up but the installers, who did not speak english, have their manager call me and inform me that Lowe's will not install a stackable dryer on a pre existing washer, both units need to be new. The washer is less than 3 years old and everybody new the circumstances at the time of the purchase.
Long story short, no one at the Lowe's in Highland Heights, KY new about this "new" policy and thus, no installation. I called to talk to an associate in appliances who handed me off to an assistant store manager, who said he would investigate and return my call later that day. Needless to say, zero follow up from Lee. I then called him and he was not very pleased to hear from me, I asked to speak with the store manager, Chris, and he answered by greeting me with "This is Chris, what do you need". He knew the details and still was rude and standoffish. He did offer me that they would deliver the dryer but I would have to hire someone to install it and he would off an additional $100 for the install. I didn't know how that would work so I asked to have a full refund, he told me I had to call the delivery company to get a refund on the dryer, the stacking kit, I had to return to the store. I reminded him that I can not drive.
By this point, I had pretty much lost my patience, it had the been 3 weeks since I paid via credit card. I asked him to process and baby sit the refund and to call me back by the close of business to confirm. He agreed but as you may have guessed by now, no return call. I lodged a complaint with Discover Credit Card, who froze the transaction while these investigated. Within the hour, someone from Lowe's call to inform me that they processed my refund but it could take up to 14 days. I will never make another purchase at Lowe's and will encourage all of my friends and family to do the same. I know it won't make a dent in their sales but principle is all I have left to salvage this situation. Lowe's does not care about their customers, not the healthy ones and certainly not the disabled ones.

I went to Lowe’s to purchase a new dryer.I found the dryer I wanted. I even opened up a Lowe’s account because that way you aren’t limited to a two day window return on an appliance purchase. This purchase was on a Monday and later via text was given the date and time for delivery. I received a delivery date for Wednesday between 9AM-1PM. Eleven AM the Lowe’s delivery truck pulled up. Two young men got out of the truck. I told them they could go around the back. Before they even tried they informed me the dryer wouldn’t fit. Proceed to take hinges off door. Informed me that there was rust on the bottom hinge and therefore could not get the door off.
First of all they made a zero effort to remove hinge. I suggested putting WD 40 on the hinge and wait a few moments. No. Then they asked me did I want to keep the dryer. Talk about LAZY. They did not want to carry the dryer back. Probably in a hurry to make a fast food run. First of AT this residence for decades and have had dryers, washing machines, stoves and refrigerators all delivered and installed with NO problems. My refrigerator last one was much wider then this dryer. No problem, no whining and no complaining. These people did their job. With their lazy attitude off they went.
Appliances delivered here for decades. Never refused service. Yes there was rust but on Thursday a friend came over, applied some WD 40 and waited several moments and no problem. The cylinder popped right up and off. So these two couldn’t give customers a few minutes for a job. “Oh no, no, we can’t possibly get that hinge off." Came off the next day with just a little patience now hours just several moments. Yet I could drive out to Lowe’s and spend time and money to purchase an item. Someone called from the warehouse offering new delivery men and an appointment the next day. I declined and returned the purchase. My son said, "Mom it was never a big deal before." NO it wasn’t until Lowe’s. NEVER again. No more purchases from Lowe’s. A three to five minute wait was asking too much. Good riddance.

Worst experience ever. We purchased a washing machine about a year and a half or 2 years ago. In that time period we have had it go out twice. The first time we were without a washer for a month while Lowe’s warranty company randomly ordered parts and when they didn’t work they would reschedule to try another part. They finally fixed it only for it to go out again last month. On July 13th, we put our claim in that the washer would not turn on. A week later, a tech came out to look at it. A week after that, he came back with a part, that did not fix the issue, he then ordered another part and a week later he was back… surprisingly, again it did not fix the issue so he ordered yet another part.
Meanwhile, we received an email from Lowe’s stating our washer could not be fixed and we would be getting a refund. Well, no word from Lowe’s so we called, they say they don’t know anything about the email. During this time, my family of 5 has been using a laundromat, paying just about $100 per week. Lowe’s says they are so sorry and will mail us a $50 gift card… that we have never received. They tell us if they can’t fix it the next time out, then they will refund us. Well guess what, they came and could not fix it. The tech even told my husband it was not repairable. So we call Lowe’s, they say wait 3 business days. We do and they call to say they ordered another part and want to come back.
Please keep in mind my husband has to take off work each time to sit and wait for the 5 hr time block. We have lost more in his wages than we paid for the washer. We tell them that they said they would refund us and we are not taking more time off of work…we get a call today saying they are denying our claim. I will NEVER purchase an appliance from this company again. The customer service is a joke. They do not care that we have been without a washer for a whole month and have spent $400 just to wash our clothes. They do not care that my husband has taken 7 days off of work (that includes both times our washer was down) all they care about is money. It’s disgusting! Do not shop at Lowe’s. I am writing this complaint to express my dissatisfaction with Home Installation team at Lowe's, Svc Road Sb, 13000 N Interstate Hwy 35 Bldg 12, Austin, TX 78753. I placed a consultation on June 28, 2025 for a fence installation project. Consultant ** from Lowes came to my household on July 2nd. Fence options were discussed and a contract for service was signed on July 4th for a total price of $14,795.68. Contractor Mark with Trikore called me the next week on July 11th to set up an installation date originally for July 21st. I stated that our HOA had to approve project before proceeding, so to schedule install on Tuesday, July 29th.
On Tuesday July 29th, I waited for Mark and his installation team until 10:30 a.m. I called the Lowe's Installation number to inquire about project. I spoke to ** on a three way line with the installation customer service member. Mark said, "he was waiting for ** to submit contract with modification specifications." We had a long conversation of he said, she said. Then I stated that I only had Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday to get the project complete, as I was returning to work the following week. On July 30th I spoke to ** over the phone, and she proceeded to say that she did not understand why Mark did not show up on Tuesday July 29th? But, a new installation date was set for Friday, August 1st. On Friday, August 1, 2025, Mark called me at 9:30 a.m. to state his installer was picking up materials and will be at my home shortly. I waited until 11:20 a.m. that day. NO one showed up again.
I called the Lowe's Installation Customer Service number at 11:30 a.m. on 8-1-25, to request a cancellation of project and a full refund as services were never provided. ** with upper management DENIED the refund because it was outside of the 3 day window within our original contract of July 3, 2025.; which I stated that my request was submitted on Friday with A Right to Cancel Form. The new contract was submitted by ** on 7-31-25 p.m. which puts me within the 3 day window of the existing contract. She stated not being able to cancel order because they are still within their estimated completion date of 8-31-25. I told her that she was conveniently looking at the second contract that gives them more time to complete project, but yet she was holding me accountable on the 1st contract dated July 3rd. for the 3 day cancellation limit.
I then stated that if we use that contract THEY have not fulfilled project within a reasonable time limit, as the completion date is set for August 3rd. We proceeded with possible options for a future installation date of November 26th, 27th, or 28th, because she said she could provide compensation for project delay. She placed me on hold and called installer Mark C. She gets back to me and states that Mark said this is more like a 3 day project, and that he does not know if the material will hold that long for 3 months?
That is when I completely questioned whether Mark had the material with him since Friday because that was ABSURD. Mark clearly stated in his own words on Friday August 1st, "You were not on my schedule for today, ** forwarded the contract to me last night." Now, ** wants me to believe that Mark has been hauling 210 ft. of metal panels with cedar wood pickets back and forth since Friday. I asked her if that was the case could he go deliver the material today in the evening? She stated, she would have to call Mark's boss to confirm and that she will get back to me. From my understanding Mark is his own boss because he is the contractor, owner of the business. Clearly, ** had no words to say. The call ended.
I'm appalled to be expected to trust them with a third re-schedule date for completion of project, when they have evidently failed to fulfill a service. In summary, what was originally an exciting custom fence project has turned into an agonizing, disorganized, and complete disregard towards customer satisfaction by Lowes. Definitely DO NOT recommend!! I am requesting a cancellation of fence project, a full refund of $14,795.68 to my account, and a refund of initial payment of $300 that was already submitted.

I'll try to make this as short as possible. Don't buy a Midea brand appliance. Don't buy anything that has to be delivered from Lowe's in the Vidalia store. They'll damage your property and then tell you if the driver doesn't admit to it they will deny your claim. 1st off, why would they admit to it? That could cost them their job. I bought a freezer at the end of last year and it went out a couple of months ago. We fought with the warranty until they sent Lowe's to come pick the freezer up and they damaged my front door.
I went in to get my refund on 7/29 and they told me if I put it back on my debit card it would take a few days but if I got a store card I could go ahead and get a new freezer which I did. BIG MISTAKE. When they delivered that freezer it was damaged and I had to send it back. I also had them take a picture of the door to show their supervisor. The following week was a total nightmare trying to find something out about my freezer. Nobody knew anything and the calls back never came.
Finally someone told me to talk to Emily in receiving. She would ask a question and 3 words in she would cut you off and start talking. She refused to listen to anything you had to say so needless to say she didn't even have the right account pulled up. Apparently because she thought I had an address in another town. I eventually got so fed up with situation I no longer wanted to do business with Lowe's at all and I certainly didn't want those delivery people back in my house. They refused to give me my money back or put it back on the card. I either had to take the freezer or store card tied to my driver's license so I was forced to do business with them. I went ahead and got the freezer and my ex is going to go get it. I'll never step foot in there again. They have no idea how much money they just lost mainly because of emily.

I purchased an LG fridge from Lowe’s about 2 weeks ago. 60 hours after delivery I noticed ice on the freezer door and the plastic on the top of the inside of the fridge was hanging down; as if it was not glued. From the moment on, I have been calling Lowe’s to exchange the fridge and they continuously refused to exchange. In parallel, I requested service for a 2 days brand new fridge. The tech ordered a freezer seal; today he came and replaced it; not sure if it solved the problem as I have to wait for couple of days; he check the plastic inside the fridge and surely made a note that it was defective or damaged because it is hanging down. He called LG and opened a new repair case. I also protested the payment with my CC and submitted all the events.
Lowes is a bad company and I passed my story to the local congresswoman. A $1000 major appliance that is defective and can’t return it less than 72 hours later; the freezer takes few days to show issues,; unbelievable service. The delivery guys did not open the box in front of me so I am not sure if it was brand new as a freezer seal takes over 10 years to go bad; I am still pursuing this problem

I recently visited Lowe's #1543 to help a friend schedule an estimate/appt to replace a water heater. Being a former proud employee, I recommended Lowe's. Things SURE have changed! There was no longer a Plumbing Specialist, and no one to answer questions, one person said "go to pro sales desk, they will help you." Yeah right. The associate who "helped" my friend was attempting to schedule on company smart phone, not on the computer. At the end she said she needed an email to notify the installers?
My friend is elderly, she didn't know it. The associate said she Needed one. I asked, what about a phone #, but apparently not good enough. We were approached by 2 customers saying they could install for much less than Lowes, (no personnel in the area) and After No Success at the "Pro desk" Lowes lost install/business. After visiting myself and noticing lack of knowledgeable associates, I will probably start going to your competitor, sorry Lowes.

So today the 6th of August, I'm here at S. 71st Lowes. I came in to buy 4 fence post menders. I checked on the lowes app 23 were avaliable in 21 bay 3. I went there and only one was there. I went up to the cashier and asked for help locate the others. So we came with me and we located the an unopened box on the top shelf that will need the ladder to get it. The guy to me someone was coming to help get it down. It has been 30 minutes and I'm still standing here waiting. It is unacceptable, and this is how you lose customers. This thing I came to buy cost $18.98 for one. I wanted 4, so I guess I'm taking my money to Home Depot next door to see how their customer is today.

Need a framing nail gun skilsaw and few other things go so exaggerated that I just left and went to Home depot. Yeah they lock some things up but there were people around to help so they got my money not Lowe's.

Lowe’s was one of my favorite stores. Recently, I purchased a dehumidifier for $99 and was charged a $79 delivery charge. It was an online order and I was in a hurry and didn’t check to see what the delivery would be. I have ordered from Home Depot and Amazon, Walmart others and have never been charged a $79 delivery charge. I tried to resolve this, but they informed me that they do not give back delivery Fee. I will return the product and try to get some of my money back. FYI, always check to make sure what the end total you are paying out. I will not be shopping at Lowe’s again.

My husband and I spent an entire afternoon trying to arrange the for repair of our 2 year-old refrigerator through the Lowe's Protection Plan that we purchased along with the refrigerator. I can't even organize the number of calls, texts, emails and online searches we went through, with no results, to repeat them here. They are swirling around in my brain. This included over a dozen requests for "verification codes" that did not work on the website.
We finally got "Phoenix" who said she would send us a text with a link to the page that handles repair appointments. The link she sent did not work. I could go on - and on - and on. When I say we spent hours on these attempts, I am not exaggerating. We are elderly, but not yet senile. It is beyond ridiculous that two educators, working together, could not navigate the steps required to make a simple repair request. If I was a suspicious person, I would think this is a way for Lowe's to avoid having to pay for the repairs that are covered by the "protection plan."

I tried to return my item a week after buying it, which was well within the clearly stated 60 to 90 day return window. I was shocked when the manager claimed a separate 48-hour policy applied. Even though both return policies were posted, she would not honor the longer time frame. She insisted that the box stay sealed and then attempted to open it to check if it was factory-sealed.
When I asked to discuss the matter directly, the manager walked to the front but refused to talk to me. She turned her back and only spoke to the clerk, completely ignoring my concerns. I came with my receipt and a polite request, but the staff was unapologetic and would not escalate the issue. This Hampton location clearly puts strict rules ahead of common sense and customer satisfaction. Avoid this store if you value respectful service.

The hydraulic closers (on both doors) are rusting and it is so embarrassing to me. Let me remind you the hardware on the other 23-year-old doors never rusted!!!

Lowe’s advertises licensed installers. The installation company admits they are just drivers. They advertise a fridge can be installed if a water turnoff is within 6 feet. They can’t. They also don’t know how to use the install kit they require you to buy.

(They have now told me this repeatedly!!!! I bought this 6 days ago! Called them 3 days ago!! It doesn't clean even the simplest and was told that it's dry cycle would only work if I added another product. Customer Service in the Garden Center at Lowe's Home Improvement in Lenoir NC SUCKS! It's pretty sad that my mom who is 85 years old and has probably in her lifetime spent a million bucks to a company that CANNOT even help her or myself load a few bags of mulch. The first time it happened my Mom was shopping alone, she had asked for help, but no one helped. She bought 6 bags of mulch. Loaded the bags of mulch by herself into her vehicle. I told her she should have left it sitting unless she had help, needless to say I was not a happy camper. But because my Mom ask me not to say anything I respected her wishes and kept my mouth shut. So from that day on I have been with her to make sure she has help, meaning yours truly. Which I should not have to load the heavy bags of mulch myself but I do to save her back.
Today we stopped by Lowe's in Lenoir again to buy more mulch and please don't ask me why we shop at that location or at any Lowe's Home Improvement. I myself prefer Home Depot but my mom who is a very loyal customer likes Lowe's. Today was no different except she bought 20 bags of mulch to which I asked the young lady in the garden center if I could pull my truck around to the side gate to load the mulch instead of loading it on a cart then loading it into my truck. Makes sense to me. Which she replied, "No. We are not supposed to let customers pull up to the gate to load merchandise." I understand that being in a management position all my life, that is a lost prevention issue even if you pay ahead of time or online. But yet she had opened that same gate for another customer. We were standing at the gate while it was happening.
The customer had a few pipes and a couple of other small products which was purchased online. I'm confused, so is their money better than my mom's money? How does a loyal customer such as my mom get that kind of service? I had to push the 20 bags of mulch from the very back of garden center up through the store to the service desk to pay because Lowe's had closed the gates at the garden center due to the weather, plus my mom writes personal checks. No problem, gave my glutes a little workout.
I then pushed the load of mulch out to my truck while my mom paid and she asked the young man at the service desk if there was someone who could or would help load the mulch into my truck, well guess what no one showed up and it wasn't for the lack of employees and no the store was not busy. I will be contacting corporate with a big fat complaint. It may not do any good but it will help me feel a little better 😊 Mom would you not rather shop at The Home Depot now?

If you are going to purchase a major appliance from Lowe’s, do not do it online. Go to the physical store and make your purchase, because if you have any problems they cannot help you. I just spent 40 minutes on the phone and was told I had to go to the store that my online purchase was shipped from which is 6 hours away from where I live. When asked for contact information for their digital/online management I was told they can’t give that information out. Also, they cannot give you corporate, regional or district contact info.

Very shoddy and dangerous to say the least, most of the issues were with the dryer install, although the washer was not much better, the parts they neglected to install are very important and a safety issue, for example the dryer power cord comes with a strain relief clamp that prevents 220v wires from shoring out on the back panel of the machine after going around with Lowe’s, they finally came out with the correct clamp but did not install it properly so I had to correct it. The list goes on and finally decided that if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.

Do not purchase an appliance, in my case a dryer from Lowe's because you have 2 days to determine if the appliance is properly working. In my case Lowe's installers did not install the dryer properly. They found the easiest spot to run the gas line, sucking off gas from the water heater, causing the water heater to shut down. Lowe's will not fix the installation, they will not replace the gas dryer with an electric or refund any portion of my money. Their policy is you have only 2 days to notify them, otherwise they don't care about any problems after that. DO NOT BUY AND HAVE LOWE's INSTALL APPLIANCES.

I called in today, and after 2 minutes of a ringing phone, someone picked up and immediately said "hold please" and I instantly got elevator music. After 15 minutes, another lady picked up, I stated I had a Troybilt pony riding lawnmower and needed a spindle for it. I was transferred to another department and another gal said "Lowe's, can I help you"? I restated what I told the other gal, and this gal rudely stated "this is hardware, we don't carry that stuff in this department", I told her "I was transferred to her" and she began sharply we y telling me what stuff she had in her department. I would have appreciated if she had acknowledged me not having any control over who I was transferred to and asked if I wanted to be transferred to "lawn and Garden" who could have helped me. Rude. Unprofessional and not at all helpful.
