    My dishwasher broke on Sunday morning. I went to Lowe's Sunday around noon. Got expert service (but also knew what I was looking for) and within 3 hours of the purchase had the install scheduled for 2 days later. Gary from Site & Sound Installation, Inc. came on time, wore protective gear and was professional, respectful and super pleasant. He had to get creative with the install condition he found at my house and would not stop until he achieved a perfect result although it took longer than I am sure he had planned. I am highly satisfied and wish I could give him even more stars. He deserves all of them! Great job!

    I love the excellent customer service, friendliness, and hard work we've always received from Lori at the Naperville, IL store! Every time I go in there she is the most friendly person there and able to point me in the right direction. Most importantly I admire how well she keeps the customers at ease and things organized during the current pandemic. The way we do things has changed quickly but she's always able to adapt to the situation. She needs to be publically recognized by corporate on their social media pages. She's why we come back.

    We cannot begin to tell you how infuriated we are with Lowe’s. We can begin in late February, 2020. On February 27, 2020 we purchased Smartcore Ultra flooring to be installed in our kitchen. It was not in stock (maybe 2 weeks to get in). During this time the coronavirus hit so we delayed the delivery until approx April 23 and install May 1. We got a call the morning of the scheduled delivery stating the tile was broken and it would take about 2 more weeks to replace. We called the installers and set up an install date of May 9. Delivery was rescheduled for May 6. May 6 we got ANOTHER call that the same tile was there that was broken, determining later apparently no replacement tile had been ordered. It would be ANOTHER 2 weeks and the installers could not come to May 19.

    We complained to the customer service department who contacted the Lowe’s store. The manager at the store was helpful at that point. She said she would see what she could do and call back. She found enough tile at a Lowe’s located near her home and picked it up, bring in to her store to be delivered along with what was left of the damaged tile and, amazingly, we were able to keep the second install date on May 9. Upon receiving the materials for the project we found that the quarter round was not the same as was on the floor. Picture attached. We instead received extremely poorly painted and damaged quarter round. Picture attached. We will have to repaint ourselves before they install or it will look horrible.

    UPDATE: We have now received a voicemail from the installers saying “Because our flooring was not received, new installation date will be May 19”. What is Lowe’s problem!!!! A bunch of incompetent people. AND, we questioned about the quarter round. We were told- FOR THE TIME-we needed to paint the quarter round. NEWS TO US. Glad we asked or we would have to try to paint quarter round already on the floor. UNBELIEVABLE.

    During this time we also ordered a riding lawn mower from Lowe’s on April 29. They called with a delivery date of May 7. The morning of May 7 we received a call stating they could not deliver that day. We then received an email with a delivery date on May 10 with a delivery time between 7 am and 9 pm. MOTHER'S DAY. We called to get a better time frame and they said we would have to wait until May 25 for delivery. Almost 4 weeks from the purchase date to deliver a mower sitting on their lot. We complained a lot so we were given a date of May 11.

    We are painting the quarter round this evening, a Lowe’s job. We are hoping for a decent installation and possibly getting a mower some time. Almost $3000 spent at Lowe’s and having to fight for what we paid for every inch of the way. We live less than 5 miles from a Home Depot but decided to do business as well as support Lowe’s. Anyone asks about Lowe’s and we will be glad to tell our story. Lesson learned.

    Order took 28 days to arrive... Customer service phone 35-45 minutes to answer... No emails regarding status of order... Status of order only states "pending"... When order finally arrived it was the wrong product entirely... so had to haul huge box back to Lowe's for a refund... Employee offered no solution or concern... Told me to call the same 800 number that takes 45 minutes to get someone to answer... Placing the order was the only pleasant experience...

    I have purchased HUNDREDS of items from Lowe's over the years... This one online experience had so many hiccups and then the customer service in Hot Springs, Arkansas was the worst... I am disheartened... When you return something and you are upset you at least expect them to apologize for the situation... That did not happen and there was not even an offer to see if they had the item in the store... They actually do but they lost that sale by not even offering to exchange the item... This employee was just there to put in HER scheduled work and leave... Poor attitude for a customer service position... Shame on you Lowe's.

    This is really hard for me to do as I used to love Lowe's. Now they are like every store that cares more about itself than the customer. When you call you got a BS message about how important your patronage to them. Last Monday I bought 10 pieces of lumber. I paid $75 dollars to have it delivered on top of the price for the lumber. I was informed that half of the ordered was to be delivered and I had to come and pick up the rest of the order. When I called I couldn't get through to a live voice and the system hung up on me. Finally I received a call from a delivery company XPODELIVE. They were making the delivery for Friday. Friday morning the truck broke down, afternoon it was on course for delivery that same day. Never arrived.

    On Saturday I received another email saying my lumber arrived. When I called the store Sunday morning I was told it was shipped from Oaks, PA to Plymouth Meeting, PA. On Monday at 730am I called the store. A manager told me my lumber would arrive today. I live in East Norriton and the lumber was delivered to a North Wales location even after the store said it corrected everything with the driver. At 1243 pm I received a call from a driver who didn't understand what I was saying and took the lumber back to the store. While the store credited for delivery my lumber is still not here. This isn't service. It’s a disgrace. As long as XPODELIVE is the delivery system I will go back to Home Depot. Do not ask for delivery or you too will have heartbreak.

    I approached the store on Harmony road and was intercepted at the door and told I would not be able to enter the store. I was further told that according to law, I had to wear a mask. I have not heard of this law (and I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist). While many people believe wearing a mask reduces risk of transmission, this is contrary to the (admittedly limited) statistical evidence. In any case, the person that stopped me refused my entry to the store for reasons that continue to be a mystery. Fine. If Lowe's doesn't want me as a customer, then I am happy to take my business to Home Depot. Note that I have spent thousands of dollars at this store during 2020. I refuse to spend another dime there.

    Placed an order on April 26th. I was told would be delivered on May 5th. I receive an email on May 4th (not even a phone call) stating items not in stock and won't be delivered on the 5th. It said someone would get back with me within 2 days!!! I don't understand why they would not know the items were not in stock until the day before the delivery when it was ordered on April 26th. I tried to call and asked for Kevin ** (person who sent email without calling) and Kevin just hangs up the phone without talking. Very poor customer service!!!

    Wow! I can't believe what just happened. When checking out I had a choice between the cashier wearing her mask down around her neck (which we all know is far more effective, sarcasm) and the cashier who didn't have a mask at all. Neither had gloves on. The cashier without the mask came over and from 4 ft away told me to come over to her register. I didn't want to but my goal was to get out of there as fast as possible at that point.

    Of course I pointed out my lack of viable options to the maskless disease spreader and she starts an argument with me about it. While flapping her gums at light speed spewing out venom towards me she moves around to my side of the protective glass and steps 3 ft from me to ring the up the items. This rendering social distance and the protective glass ineffective in move on her part. TOTAL IDIOT MOVE. Unless she was doing this knowingly on her part which would be recklessly endangering another person's life. So this is what you are in for at Lowe's in Avon Ohio. You are better off doing to Home Depot! DO NOT GO TO LOWE'S.

    I'm an 83 year old, small, Japanese American female. Bought only 4 mulch bags, and a bag of lime. After check out, The cashier told me loudly they can't help me put the lime in my trunk (SUV), it's the CDC rule so, "Go find a customer to help you." When I started to ask politely if someone can lift one side so I could.... she yelled loudly, "No, we can't" then some other things I was too upset to reply to. A nice older man saw my predicament by my car trunk, and helped me outside. My trunk was clean, dry and empty. The nursery I went to in the a.m., laid down large plastic bags and put the soil, mushroom compost, etc. I purchased. The Lowe's young man who loaded the mulch put the smelly, wet bags with holes in it in my trunk so now I have the trunk open to dry so I can clean it with a carpet shampoo.

    I have encountered enough rude people at stores, but this cashier was the worst. Why is it okay to yell at a customer as if she is doing something wrong? Why didn't she tell me before she rang up the lime, no one can help me put it in my trunk? Just a, "I'm sorry but due to the CDC rule, we can't help you put the lime in your trunk?" nicely, not in a loud voice as if she's enjoying scolding customers. Actually, this was the 2nd time she treated me with disrespect. I'm sure this is not how she treats all customers but the 2nd time I complained in my life. Host No. **. All you have to do is have someone observe how she treats customers like me, someone who isn't being argumentative and quiet. I felt humiliated being shoved off as if I'm a nuisance and do not appreciate it.

    I've had good in-store shopping experiences with Lowe's over the last several years; used their products and equipment to remodel a kitchen and a bathroom. I have some outdoors projects underway, now, and turned to Lowe's to provide the materials. I ordered everything online a couple of weeks ago, but realized not everything was marked for delivery. Called CustomerCare and they promptly fixed the issue, changing everything to delivery. THEY told me it would all be delivered on April 29th. I took vacation time to get ready for the shipment and to be able to work on the project; also had a couple of helpers waiting with me to accept the shipment.

    I had an 8am to 8pm delivery window so I was stuck at home ALL DAY waiting for the delivery, but no one ever showed up and no one ever called. Next morning I called the local Lowe's store from which the order was to be fulfilled, they tell me their records indicate shipment is not to occur until sometime in May, and that CustomerCare should not have given a firm date without checking with local store. The person at the local store was trying to arrange delivery sometime next week, but said he could not direct delivery crew to help put materials in my garage. So, I would have to take another vacation, hire two more helpers, again, to sit around for an unreasonably long 12 hour delivery window, still with no guarantee that the delivery would actually occur. Lowe's made no offer of a discount or any other accommodation for the major inconvenience they caused so I just cancelled the order. Not going to reward gross incompetence with my dollars.

    DO NOT SHOP THE STORE ON UNIVERSITY IN EDINBURG, TX. Just tried Lowes curbside pickup. Don't bother! LOwes sent an email stating the order was ready. When I arrived I called the number to let the store employee know I had arrived - No Answer EVER! My wife and I waited for 45 minutes to one hour and no one ever came to the car to deliver our order. We went to the contractor pickup thinking maybe we needed to pick up there - NOPE! We went back to the parking spot. There was another lady waiting almost as long as we were. There were store employees milling around, staring at us like we were crazy to even think they were going to fill the order. I mean NO ONE bothered to help. They just didn't care.

    We finally gave up and went home. Once home I had an email from Lowes stating the order had been filled. As if they actually expected to be paid for nothing. My credit card company will hear about this! This is a scam store with service predicated on promising things to the customer that they NEVER deliver on. DO NOT SHOP THE STORE ON UNIVERSITY IN EDINBURG, TX.

    In times of shortages of appliances and none available, Lowe's policy to not sell display models, while perfectly functional, puts families at risk of not having something desperately needed. I will not shop at Lowe's any longer.

    Decided to try placing an online order with Lowes.ca. Website said item would be received in 4 business days. Took 2.5 weeks. Crap customer service. Zero communication. No answer to my emails. Phone on hold for an hour each time, with no answer. Received used and damaged product, package taped back together. No instructions included. Absolute CRAP!! Will NEVER order from Lowes again, and I advise everyone else not to either.

    When we ordered a refrigerator from Lowe's they had it delivered by DSI, a company we don't know. They damaged our laminate floor and refuse to repair them. Lowe's response is "not our problem". The DSI company took three months to send a letter saying they won't fix them ($300). That's after many, many phone calls always left on voice mail with absolutely no calls returned.

    I purchased 500.00 worth of Lite Stone. It was to build a hearth for a 3 sided fireplace. The stove selling dealer shipped the stove and the shipper dropped it off the liftgate and destroyed it. It took several months to get another stove & ship it to us. We over purchased corner pieces thinking if was better to have too much than be short and have to hope we could get more if needed later. We ended up with 1.75 boxes too much. We though were 3 boxes short of flat stone.

    We went to our Valley Lowe’s to return the 1 unopened and perfect condition box and use the credit to buy the 3 flat stone boxes we needed to finish. They refused to exchange the pristine box of corners as it was over 90 days! The rude nasty female manager told us to put it on Facebook and we might get 15.00 for the 69.00 box. Great customer service! We have spent in the last 24 months over 25000.00 at their questionable stores. Never again. No is acceptable, smart mouth is not. Don’t patronize a company they hires and promotes illiterate, rude employees.

    Tried their curbside pickup. I use it for groceries and it works very well. But not for Lowe's. Their website has always been hard to find what you want, and I have special ordered large appliances from them and after the order was lost several times I called Home Depot. But since Lowe's is 5 minutes away and Home Depot is an hour away I decided to try the pickup. Placed the order and waited. They send an email instead of texting you when your order is ready. Since I was very busy painting my kitchen, I didn't think to check emails. Finally took a break and saw the email. It was ready very quickly. Drove over and looked for the pick up area which was 4 spaces right in front of the doors. Very convenient for anybody who wanted to park close in. Since those spots were full, I parked a few spaces down and walked down to dial the phone number. The phone rang and rang. Never got the opportunity to dial the extension they said to dial.

    After sitting there for 10 minutes and noticing that there was no one coming out with orders, people were coming out and leaving from those spaces reserved for pickup. Finally went into the store, which I was trying to avoid because nobody at Lowe's is wearing masks or keeping distance. Customers or employees. Asked 7 employees and nobody knew anything about pickup. And nobody knew if there was a manager.

    The store was pure chaos with employees running all over and nobody going anything. I went to 4 different departments and nobody knew anything and didn't even stop long enough to let me asked them a question. I finally went back to customer service where I figured my order was and started looking for my stuff. A guy came over and I explained to that I had been trying to get my pickup order for almost an hour with my 95 yo father waiting in the truck and could not get any help and was told there was no manager on duty. Turns out he was the manager. He was very nice and asked me to go wait in my truck and he brought out my order. Needless to say I will not only never use pickup at Lowe's but because their employees disregard any kind of protection I will always drive the hour to Home Depot from now on.

    I ordered a refrigerator online for my Mom that lives in a different as me. I was charged incorrectly. I spent about an hour and a half trying to get the charge corrected. Finally looked like it was corrected. Then, they did not enter into their system that the water hose line was delivered with the refrigerator. I spent over an hour waiting to talk to someone and for the customer rep to take care of Lowe’s charging me every few days for the water line hose. The customer service reps were very nice and helpful. The system sent me the correct bill, but charged wrong. The customer service lady sent me a 10% for all my trouble. Went to Tullahoma’s, TN Lowe’s today. I realize we are in the middle of a pandemic, but those people were rude and refused to use my 10%. After about 30 minutes, finally, they used it. It was a terrible experience!!!! I will not be shopping at Lowe’s!!!

    I hadn't received my card or bill for more than a couple days, probably because of the corona virus however, before I could get on to pay, they had already charged me a $50+ late fee. I tried to call but could never get an actual person to speak with about it (at the time I was only two days late). I also wanted to pay with my "bank issued" credit card but everything is automated to only accept checks. At this point, I cannot get any human contact from Lowe's and will never return or do business with them again. Home Depot, here I come. Oh, I also spend in excess of $2000 yearly with my local hardware stores. While I realize that's not going to hurt them, my reviews and word of mouth to friends will have a bit of an impact.

    I ordered a dishwasher online on a Saturday and a delivery time of Monday between 11am and 3pm was confirmed. At 1:30 on Monday I had still not received a call from the delivery company that they were on their way, so I called them to check the status. I was told that they tried to pick up the dishwasher at 10am but was told it wasn't available. NOBODY CALLED ME. I had an installation scheduled that afternoon so of course had to cancel it. I then waited on hold for over 1/2 hour for customer service (which to find out what was going on). When someone finally answered, I explained the situation and was put on hold for another 29 minutes when the call disconnected. Of course the customer service rep didn't call back.

    I called again and waited on hold for another 1/2 hour and then another 15 minutes after an agent picked up. I was transferred to a manager who shockingly sounded stoned. I'm not saying he was, but he certainly sounded like it. When I prompted him for an apology he said "sorry." I asked when the dishwasher would be delivered. He said "um, Friday?" That's 4 days late and he never checked availability to see if that was a realistic timeframe. I hung up and ordered a dishwasher from Costco. I will never deal with Lowe's again.

    The rules have changes on their gift cards, and NEVER told. I have a 100.00 Lowe's gift card I purchased in good faith, tried to use at local store NO help or explanation. Went on line NO help, calIed 800 # no return call. So I'm out 100.00 I spent in good faith and NO one seems interested in solving problem.

    We bought porcelain tile for our home. Have Lowe’s employee the square footage and he figured how much we would need for the order. The order was delivered second week of October 2019. Our contractor completed the work first week of February. Problem #1: Lowe’s DID NOT tell us that they add 10% to your order. Problem #2: Lowe’s refuses to return the unused portion (10%) because they changed their return policy in November 2019. If you are building or remodeling a home, or any large project, DO NOT go to Lowe’s unless you plan on the project being complete within that 90 day window.

    I have ordered from Lowe's several times in the last few years. I have to say that Lowe's is consistently the worst company to order from. They do not give delivery estimates on most orders and backordered items hold up the order, but they never email to let you know this. Getting in touch with them is also far more difficult than other stores like HD, Target, Amazon, you name it. They also do not have chat or email based customer service portal that I could find on the website, forcing everyone to call in, and thus bogging down their system. I would recommend ordering from elsewhere. I still shop at the physical location because it saves me a 20 minute drive to HD, but I will not be ordering from Lowe's anymore online.

    Hello. My Frigidaire flat top gallery oven just broke on its 3 years of service and 3 days after the warranty expires. I called them. They only want me to pay for the repair. Everyone is working with people right now. Not Lowe's. They don't.

    Oklahoma City, OK 4/8/2020 north store on memorial. This is the first negative review I have written in my entire life. I am a Lowe’s loyal customer. I have spent roughly 100,000 there in the past 2 years. I understand there are bigger customers out there than I. But I am 30 years old and was planning an entire life of remodeling/building and liked Lowe’s the best. I’ve never had a real problem with them. Until today. I will never step into a Lowe’s store again in my life.

    I ordered a particular type of Vinyl flooring. The Procore stuff that is also water proof. I bought $4,000 roughly of this flooring. I pulled my truck up to the contractor pick up because I needed right away, so I didn’t have them deliver it. When the Lowe’s personnel loaded the materials they mixed up some other very similar flooring with what I had ordered (I guess I should have opened every box and looked at all 50 boxes). This other type of flooring that was different was barely different, just had a slightly different grain and slightly different shine. Basically this wasn’t easy to identify hence why it wasn’t noticed until the floor was installed, which I paid for obviously. Now we have to put a cover on the floor to keep the flooring from getting damaged while we continue some other construction.

    Fast forward to today “Wednesday” when we take the ram board off the floor because we are getting ready to list the home Friday, and now we notice the problem. I have mismatching floors randomly littered throughout the home, which you can’t really see with anything but natural light and standing across the room. If you are right on top of it and under regular canned lighting you can’t really notice it. I can see how the people loading the materials made the mistake, and I was very understanding when I went up to the store in person to speak with someone. I spoke with a friend of mine in the pro services department, and he told me I needed to speak directly with the manager in the flooring department. I said that was okay, so after some time I get a phone call all in the same day, I am very hopeful at this point..

    We talk, I explain everything and he seems to understand. I have bought and paid for the flooring and the labor of this installation, that now I need to tear up “carefully” to RE-use, and install again, not including the trim that was installed that needs to be removed and put back on as well. The problem is with this toe and hook type assembly for these floors, we can’t just tear out the mismatching pieces and replace with the matching/correct floor without taking it all out. ALL of the flooring has to come up in order to make these changes.

    Now again, please understand I can see how the mistake was made. Mistakes happen is the kind of person I generally am.. But I knew they could help me out in this situation. I know Lowe’s has an installation team, and all I wanted was for them to get the correct flooring, bring their installation team out, and help me out with this mistake that, although understandable, was made BY THEM. I got a hard “No we can’t do that”, and he was “really sorry.” At this point I got a little frustrated, I’m not a person ever looking to ask for something like this, but I feel like this was something I shouldn’t have to pay all the additional labor (and extra material) to fix.     I got annoyed, I told him he probably didn’t care but I am very loyal to them and this would probably lose me as a customer. It was so blatantly obvious he didn’t care about that at all and that’s when it turned to a very disingenuous “sorry”. Keep in mind IT'S NOT LIKE I ASKED FOR A CHECK. I simply wanted them to supply me the resources and materials to fix this. I understood it was a mistake. I wouldn’t have held it against them in the future. I’m not that kind of person at all.

    Multi-billion dollar company and I’m sure they can afford to do fix this much more than I can. But I’ve never in my life felt more unappreciated for the business I’ve given them. It makes me so mad. They didn’t care to do anything but give me a “partial refund”, to which interestingly enough I would have had to GO RIGHT BACK INSIDE LOWE'S AND SPEND in order to purchase the correct materials that I THOUGHT I PURCHASED THE FIRST TIME. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I talked to a friend who had something similar happen with “a different company”, and they came right out and fixed it. I’ll be canceling my Lowe’s card and turning over all my purchases I’ll make over the next 30 years somewhere else.

    Tried to order Holland brick pavers as advertised on sale. I could not find the icon for add to cart. Went to chat, got LOWEBOT. From the lowebot I received the info that you cant add to cart if it is not in "your stores" inventory. Okay. But how do I order items for delivery that is not in stock? Asked for "agent". After waiting few just a few minutes Elizabeth came on the chat line and asked how she could help. Immediately the chat screen went to the online survey and never allowed me to ask a question. I don't know if that was a software glitch or if I was just being ignored. I promise that I will never interrupt or "bother" anyone from lowe's for any reasons. Not to ask question, not to make purchases, not to recommend, not to ever "bother". Anyone from lowes ever again. I'm off to make my $8,000 dollar order somewhere else. Heaven forbid I interrupt someone while they are supposed to be working.

    Lowe’s MEBANE, NC Review April 2, 2020. No less 3.5 hours and 5 phone calls and I can not get this mulch ordered, and delivered. I called and was diverted to garden center and they couldn't help me, told me to order online, which the website won't allow you to do. Then told try customer service. Called customer service, put on hold 3 times, actually took down my order of two pallets, and got disconnected. Called again, explained who I was, that I got disconnected, and they immediately sent my call to the garden center. Got the same guy who said he couldn't help me, I needed customer service. He actually walked the phone to customer service were they argued, and I got disconnected again.

    Called again, told them not to forward my call, and that I needed two pallets of mulch delivered, I was told that I need to do that online. Before I could explain the website won't let you order mulch online, she hung up. Last call I made, got put on hold because she was on another transaction, 30 minutes later while waiting patiently, I was disconnected (or hung up on). Do these people know what customer service is? There are a lot of good people looking for work, why don't you make some changes Lowe's Mebane, NC. I think it's time you cleaned up your act, you're not the only game in town! Can't even begin to express my frustration right now.

    If you ever looking for brand new quality appliance, forget Lowe’s, unless you don’t mind to be victimized and mistreated. I purchase new floor model Whirlpool fridge from Fairfield Lowe’s for my brand new home, to match set of newly installed stainless Whirlpool appliances. Within few days of delayed delivery and installation, fridge stop working. Contact Whirlpool warranty and in few days local service tech show up just to tell me that he need a new part and will take another week to order and replace.

    Within few days of this repair the fridge die again and the same service tech show up within a week to inform me that my allegedly new appliance is actually old used lemon that been repaired before and in addition he need to replace death compressor, this fridge used be owned by someone else who return his used appliances back to store after numerous warranty repairs year ago. This didn’t stop Lowe’s from placing the same used fridge back on Lowe’s sell floor as discontinue floor model and resell it again without any disclosure of appliance extensive prior repair history.

    Needless to say that no one in this store is willing to step up and fix their own mess and fraud, include department head and store manager. I don’t even mention that somehow built-in ice maker that was included as part of the fridge, mysteriously disappear between sale floor and actual delivery. So stay far away from this store and this brand unless you don’t mind to be cheated and mistreated.

    I realize Lowe's subs out this work. I had the man come out, measure and give me a quote in March. Materials delivered in April and soon after took old fence down and started on new. The boss decided he couldn't put the gates up like I had contracted, which with the way my house and property is situated, I wanted the gate big enough to get a truck thru on the driveway side. He said he couldn't, he would put it on other side of my house, which is where my heat pump is and would have to drive thru front yard between house and trees - which seemed ridiculous to me and I told them no. They stopped working and several months later finished.

    Many frustrating phone calls to Lowes and I did get about $500 back due to all the problems. For the price I paid, they did not do such a good job. Side fence is wavy rather than straight. I marked where my Fios line was with spray paint as well as left notes. The first time they put the gate up they cut thru it. Then when they redid the gate and I remarked the lines, they cut right thru it again. I do not recommend.

    I never leave negative reviews, however, I am tired of Lowe's bait & switch practices (which is illegal). They advertise an item on their website on sale and when the item is added to your cart it becomes full price. This is the second time it's happened. Called Lowe's Customer Service & the customer service agent tried to rectify the situation by offering a discount after I had emailed a screenshot of the sale item online. When she called her supervisor, Richard ** in Indiana, for approval he denied it stating a screenshot isn't sufficient.

    I spoke to another supervisor, Dom (ID # **) who claimed the situation did not qualify for any discount and the price in the cart was correct, not the advertised sale price. He was also going to speak with the customer service rep for offering a discount of which she did not have the authority to do so. I told Dom the rep was trying to find a solution and not to chastise her. After I got off the phone, the item was still advertised on sale. Am going to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Will NEVER purchase anything at Lowes and will keep supporting Home Depot!

    Lowe's “Customer services”. 3/23/20. I purchase a Samsung washer from Lowes and a five year protection plan. I contacted Lowes on Feb 2, 2020 to let them know that my washer stopped working. Lowe's sent out a tech to fix the machine. The tech has been out at least four times and has replaced 5 parts and the washers still doesn't work. Supposedly, they need to order an additional part to fix the machine. Lowe's has been telling me since March 10th that the part is in, However, every time I call Lowe's they said the part is in or is coming in tomorrow.

    The last time I spoke to customer service representative on March 23, 2020 and I was told that I needed wait for the part. When I asked why is it taking so long for part; I was told most likely it's due to the coronavirus. The sad part is that My husband and myself have been going to a laundromat since Feb 2 and that was okay; until this very serious pandemic of the coronavirus. I wish Lowe's would do the right thing and replace the washer instead of playing games.

    I bought a wash machine from the store almost a month ago. Because of their delivery service I was held off for delivery till today 3/23/20. I got 3 phone calls this past week reminding me of my delivery. It was To be delivered, set up, plus haul out the old washer. Yesterday 3/22/20 I get a phone call from our store telling us that Lowe’s new policy because of Covid19 can drop my washer at my house but their employees will no longer go into anyone’s house. So, now Lowe’s will bring my washer, drop off in my yard and drive away. I understand the Covid19 stuff, I DONT understand we can still go to a Lowe’s store, talk to a store associate face to face but their employees won’t come into a home.. Plus.... Lowe’s never offered any alternative plan, like maybe offer a dolly to their customers so maybe I can get my washer into my home?

    The reason we bought the washer was because Lowe’s offered, delivery, setup, and removal of old appliance. I think Lowe’s could of did a bit more during this time to provide more help. I’m now stuck with a new washer being delivered, placed in my back yard and finding my own way of taking out old washer up 15 steps, bringing in new washer and down 15 steps, setting it up and hoping it works. I will NEVER recommend Lowe’s. Cross my fingers the new washer works.

    I am planning to finish our basement so was looking for lumbers. Before ordering I did chat with the Lowe's Online Chat at least 5 times and all of them told me Lowe's will do Truck Delivery DIRECTLY TO THE BASEMENT (walkout). I ended up ordering those and even gave them a call to confirm that they CAN deliver those directly to the basement. They said there will 2 folks and will hand carry the lumbers. Today the store manager calls me to schedule to delivery for tomorrow (originally today) and says they can't deliver to basement. He was like "I don't know who told you that but we don't deliver to basement". I then asked the online chat/phone number and they again said they should deliver to basement. I asked them to let the store manager know and they said they did. I still haven't received any update yet but I am very disappointed with this fiasco.

    I ordered a dishwasher from Elizabethtown Lowe’s online. It was paid using a Lowe’s card to get the 5% discount offered. Then I paid it off. My delivery was scheduled 3 different times and cancelled by them 3 different times. It has been 3 months and I requested a month ago that my dishwasher be cancelled and my money refunded to me I am still waiting on that refund. They refuse to give it back cash even though I have the receipt but because I use the Lowe’s card initially they want to refund it back to the card and I have to call customer service to get them to mail me a check.

    I have been fighting with them over getting my money back for a month now. It is so ridiculous. No dishwasher and they still have my money. I will never go to Lowes again for anything. What happened to good customer service? I didn’t hesitate to pay them. I feel like none of them knows what they are doing. I would rather pay more and get good service than go through this again.     I ordered a dishwasher and paid $139.00 for installation and $59.00 for delivery. The gentleman that brought the dishwasher installed it and then he said, "Ma'am I have you taken care of however you will need to call a plumber." I said, "Why is that? He stated that there was nowhere to connect the water line. I thought odd I had a dishwasher there that ran. I conveyed that to this gentleman and he said "really". I said, "Yes," he said, "Do you have a flashlight." I said yes. He looked and he said he didn't see it.

    Later that day I found out a splitter was needed and one was in the installation kit that I paid for. He took splitter out of bag and pocketed it. He stated to me he could fix it but not on Lowe's time. He told me for $100.00 he could fix it. I was so angry I drove to the store after he left. They seemed to very apologetic and said I would get a call within 24 hours. It has now been 48 hours and I paid 589.00 for a dishwasher that I can't even use. I will never use Lowe's again for anything.

    Ordered a Kohler #3851-0 toilet on 2/28. Estimated delivery date, 3/4. On 3/6 I contacted their "customer service" since I had not been notified of any delays. Was told this was a special order, which was not mentioned on the website, and the new delivery ESTIMATED delivery was 4/13! This was a great inconvenience, so I requested a discount. I was offered 10% on a FUTURE order. This is NOT customer service, and there will be no future orders! I was then contacted by the assistant manager from our Venice, Fl. store who just kept telling me they don't give discounts for delayed items AND that I may not even receive it by 4/13! No apologies, no customer service, AND, if you look at their website, they are still showing that if you order this item today, you'll get delivery within a week. Lies!!!

    Lowe's now says that having a retiree military card is no longer good enough for discount, that you have to get enrolled by an outside organization. I have enrolled there times and each was good for one trip to the store. After that bye bye discount. They should not advertise a discount that doesn't really exist. Lowe's says it's not their fault.     Never buy kitchen cabinets from Lowe’s! We have had the worst experience. Zero customer service. We bought over $8000 of KraftMaid kitchen cabinets from the Lowe’s in Savannah, GA. When the cabinets were delivered two of them were missing from the delivery. Of course, the delivery guys said, “Not my problem, that’s what was on the truck.” After literally hours on the phone with the delivery company and Lowe’s, the missing cabinets could not be located. We were told that KraftMaid would have to remake the cabinets.

    We thought since it was not our fault that the cabinets were missing and knowing that we had a contractor and a timeline to keep, that either KraftMaid or Lowe’s would step up to see that our missing cabinets were expedited. Nope! Calls to the local and national Lowe’s customer service either are not returned or when we do speak to someone, they have nothing to add and just say, “It’s in process.” After many weeks of delay the replacements finally arrived. We had to pick them up at the store and the only minimal compensation was a refund of the delivery fee. I am cutting up my Lowe’s credit card and I’ll never shop there again.

    January 2020 the calls began!!! In January Lowe's sent out a promotional offer on their kitchen appliances for 15% savings. The marketing advertisement showed a WASHER & DRYER front and centre, and other appliances in the background. At that time they were also offering an additional 25% savings for buying Energy Savings appliances. That was the decision it was time to retire my tired appliances. I proceeded to go on-line to check out where my appliances were available.

    This is where the countless hours of my time began because I was told by different locations different stories - end result WASHERS & DRYERS were not part of the ad as it was only offering it to kitchen appliances. You tell me, do you know if anyone that has a WASHER & DRYER in their kitchen....well I do - in addition to marketing adding you can google on-line displaying them as an option.

    LOWE'S ** (CASE NUMBER) NEVER CLOSED AS PER FOLLOWING MESSAGE TO THEM: I appreciate this attempt of an email but unsure why the ticket is closing when I have not yet received a phone call from head office to discuss. I have experienced very poor support from Lowe's throughout this, and welcome further conversation on a call. I have been a huge supporter of Lowe's and am quite disappointed for such a LARGE CHAIN not to stand behind their error. In addition the disconnect between what online support can do vs what the store level can do or say, and again no consistency on how to resolve this issue. ** (CASE NUMBER) NEVER CLOSED - asked then to speak to a manager which ended in a few hours later as follows:

    On Friday, January 17, 2020 I received a call from an agent vs a Manager from Head Office as I originally requested. Can someone explain why it is so difficult to have someone from Head Office call, are they too afraid to admit their mistake? I again spend my time waiting once again on the call to speak further to the Case Worker’s Manager. At that time she informed me that this was a SERIOUS MATTER and Head Office has called on it. She provided me details that Head Office was notified that the add was clearly wrong as the WASHER & DRYER was not excluded from the promotion.

    AGAIN MY DISAPPOINTMENT, she informed me Head Office would reach out to me in 2 DAYS. Recognizing the day I was called was Friday, so I gave the benefit of the doubt that the a call would be made by at least Tuesday, January 21, 2020 BUT NOW OVER A WEEK LATER AND STILL NO CALL. ** (CASE NUMBER) - NEVER CLOSED. 18 days have now gone by since an attempt call was made with Lowe's. I am now losing confidence in what Manager, a person of authority, has told me. I was again told on the 17th of January head office was looking into this and 18 days have gone by with no contact It is now MARCH 6TH and still not response!! VERY DISAPPOINTED - NO LONGER A CUSTOMER OF LOWE'S. Rating Reviews should allow for "0 STARS" as this is truly how I feel about this company!

    I was trying to purchase a tile that has been discontinued today. After several trips to different stores, I was told that the item has been discontinued so I called the manufacturer and was told that they have it but that since it has been removed they are not able to order it for me. It will need to be special ordered from Lowe's.     I am a homeowner. Prior to attending the store I took measurements and did some research online. Based on my findings I went to Lowe’s located in Norwalk. Although I had called the store to establish the hours of the designers’ availability, around 3:45 on Monday there wasn’t anyone in the design center to assist in providing a quote. I commuted to the Lowe’s in Danbury as I was convinced their competitor (Home Depot) would not have good customer service. By the time I reached the Danbury location both designers were busy with other customers. I waited until one of the designers was available.

    I was dressed clean and neatly but plainly. I surmised by the scowl on the elderly designer employee’s face that he was agitated. Yet, I gave him a cheerful greeting. Then I retrieved a scrap paper with measurements on it from my pocket. The employee responded, “I need REAL figures”. In a mild but amused voice I stated, “these are real figures”. He proceeded to his desk and said with a huff that he would need to draw something out to “make sense” of my measurements. He took a computer paper out & I then retrieved my phone and mentioned, “I also have a photo”. He began to draw onto the sheet. Then I asked if I could add the measurements to his rough draft. With a look of disgust he passed the crude drawing to me.

    Referring to my measurements I proceeded to write the numbers onto his drawing. All the while I was cataloging the numbers the employee continued his tirade, “those aren’t even real figures; you’re just guessing.” At this I said, Actually, no, my contractor helped me establish these numbers.” He continued, “I mean, you’re just wasting your time & mine; We’re talking thousands of dollars and you just have a bunch of chicken scratch on that paper.” This is when it occurred to me that he was being verbally abusive and I didn’t have to subject myself any longer to his wretched disposition. I told him he was rude & that I was no longer going to sit and allow him to berate me! Despite not wanting to go to Home Depot I went to the design center and they could not have been more helpful or lovely. Rose CEO would not be happy to know they missed out on thousands of dollars because of their employee.

    I few things here. 1st the fridge is only 2 and 1/2 years old and it stopped cooling. I did buy a 3 year extended warranty so that was good. Now I am trying to get it fixed and the people that Lowe's uses can not get their act together. I was called and a time set for a Thursday for the repairman to come between 1 and 5. He did not show up till 7PM and then he told me he could not fix it because he was not able to get the authorization from lowe's because that had closed for the day. I was upset but could understand. He rereschedule me for Monday between 8 and 12. So now I have taken 1/2 day off on the first day and now 1/2 on the new date.

    Now I get a call that the repairman will not be here tell after 1pm so I will have to take the whole day off. So I will be out of a working fridge for a week and it will cost me dollars in missed work. One thing I love my fridge with the french doors and the door in door. I am just highly disappointed that it stopped after 2 and 1/2 years and. Now I am worried because because of me getting my fridge 3 of my Kids have gotten LG refrigerators like the one I have.

    Looked up Smart code 913 Lock set Item # 753479 Model # 913TRL L03 UL on Lowe's.com and it was on sale for $70.41. When you add it to cart, it is $126.74. Called Lowe's.com. No help. They said it was a newer model being added to the cart. There was no way to buy the product shown or advertised. No price match, no offer of a percentage off, no help whatsoever. So I emptied my cart of $750 worth of merchandise and shopped elsewhere. Tired of their advertising stuff and not honoring price. No longer a Lowe's customer!!

    Lowe's recently eliminated their own delivery department and went with a third party delivery service, probably thinking it would cut costs. Well it also cut customer satisfaction and will most likely end up cutting business as well. We recently bought a washer dryer set. First our delivery date was pushed 2 weeks, then in the days proceeding our new delivery date the time was changed 3 times...10 to 2, then 12 to 4, then 3:30 to 7:30. When you can the delivery company you sit on hold forever. When you call the store they can do nothing because it's an outside company that handles the delivery.

    Finally on the day if delivery we received yet another call at 9am saying they would be there in an hour! We were buying the washer dryer for our new home which was more than an hour away! The driver said the delivery times were not set until the day of delivery, which made no sense since we had already been called 3 times prior. A very disorganized service. This is the last time we buy from Lowe's.

    This is just a brief synopsis of the two page letter that I sent to Lowes Customer Care. I usually purchase my appliances through an independent dealer in Dubuque, but when my washer broke, I looked into Lowes for a new one. I purchased my new washer and gas dryer December 18, 2019. The computer went down halfway through the purchase and they had to start over. After I left the store, I received a phone call that the dryer was on backorder for 6 weeks. I decided to wait the 6 weeks. The units were suppose to be delivered and set up on January 28. On the 27, I called Lowes because no one had called to let me know if the dryer had come.

    To make a VERY LONG story short, the dryer never came in, after insisting I was cancelling the order, they found one in Ohio and were shipping it that week. After a week, I had to call again to check on the status. Yes, it was in. The units were delivered (after 7 weeks from purchasing) that week. WRONG color and installers that complained the entire time. After complaining to Lowes, I was told that the Dubuque store needed to deal with everything. The only response by management was "unintentional mistake and learning experience for our staff". I will never purchase any appliance from Lowes again and will advise anyone who asks my opinion of their service to do the same.

    BEWARE OF CONTRACTING IN THE FLOORING DEPARTMENT AT LOWE'S! I want to share a negative experience in hopes you the customer can avoid the frustration and anxiety caused by one of Lowe’s contractors in the flooring department. First, if you are purchasing wood or laminate floors BEWARE! There may be hidden costs they do not initially share with you.

    Lowe’s contracts through a big company called SERVPRO. Trust me, you cannot trust this company. They find ways to get more money out of you after they rip your carpets off the floors. Two Hispanic guys were sent to install our floors. One could speak no English. The other interpreted. They both talked to one another in Spanish, so I never knew all that was being said. They seemed to be nice people but this communication barrier was frustrating at times. Once the carpet was removed they started showing me small unlevel places on all my floors. They instructed me the only remedy was to pour cement over them and level the spot. They also said they would have to lay a new plywood subfloor over the top for the guarantee to be in effect. The cost 1000 to 1500.00! We had not planned this in our budget because Lowe’s never disclosed this possibility to us.

    I have never heard of this before. I imagined they have a pretty good racket going making some big bucks on the side by revealing this problem. We were devastated. We called Servpro, then Called our local Lowe’s. The manager at Lowe’s was very upset with SERVPRO. Lowe’s did refund all our money except materials and we found a couple of local guys to do the labor. AGAIN, be extremely careful using SERVPRO. If Lowe’s had not refunded our money I would be taking SERVPRO to court. In my opinion I think something ILLEGAL is going on with SERVPRO. Hope this helps someone avoid the pain and anguish we experienced.

    Promised 10% rebate if I bought entire Kitchen package. I did and told 4-6 weeks for rebate. Received e-mail two weeks later confirming it. 13 weeks and some calls to say it is in process but no idea when it will be handled. Also told me not Lowe's problem as they hire an outside firm to do it. Outside firm did not make me promise, Lowe's did. They need to honor their word. Not sure they know what that means. Nothing but Home Depot going forward.

    I ordered vertical blinds on 1/31/2020 and was given a delivery date of 2/14/2020. When blinds did not arrive, I made 4 calls to Port Charlotte FL store before I was told blinds would arrive on 2/20/2020. When blinds did not arrive again, I was given a tracking number so that I COULD FIND THE BLINDS. I spent hours on the phone between 2 different shipping companies and Lowe's before I found the blinds. I was treated rudely. Disconnected 4 times and left 2 messages for store manager (as he did not answer my calls) but he never returned my calls. Department manager was not helpful. Lisa was helpful and understanding, and apologized. The ONLY apology I have received! When blinds arrived on 2/26, 5 of the 6 boxes were damaged. Will NEVER do business with Lowe's again!

    I ordered a microwave from Lowe's and requested installation. I immediately received a call from someone telling me to expect a call from someone else. I then received a call to set up the installation. By the way, you don't get to pick and they expect you to wait around for 4 hours on a weekday, no weekends. They can't bother calling you in advance so you don't have to waste your vacation time. I then received a call after the installation that I did not answer because I was tired of getting all of these calls at work.

    She called again to see if I was happy with the installation. I thought I was done with all of the calls but received another one around 8:30 pm a few days later. Don't you love getting phone calls late at night? I didn't answer and blocked it and looked up the number 469-200-1467 and it's Lowe's. Please stop bothering me. I was considering the purchase of another appliance but not from them.

    This is my personal and unique opinion of Lowe’s Home Centers, LLC 350 Diedrich Boulevard Ashland, KY 41101 also known as Store Number 1123. This opinion was formed based on my recent personal experience with Lowe’s. On November 16, 2019, I purchased an LG WHT WT7300CW washer, MED663HW dryer and XHPC155XW dryer stand from Lowe’s. When the salesperson rang up the sale, the total was $400 more than the advertised price. We had shopped the features and benefits of similar units and made our final selection based on the value of the advertised price displayed on the Lowe’s price card for each item. The Lowe’s salesperson said not to worry, and that the price would be adjusted as promised using a mail-in rebate which would give us $400 in Visa Prepaid Cards. On November 18, 2019, we mailed our Lowe’s receipt and rebate forms as instructed and patiently waited the 8 weeks of processing time.

    By mid-January 2020, the promised $400 in Visa Prepaid Cards had not arrived. In an attempt to resolve the situation, we visited the store twice. Lowe’s customer service couldn’t find any registration of our rebate. Eventually we found a customer service staffer that directed us to contact the Lowe’s Rebate Center directly at (877) 204-1223. The Lowe’s Rebate Center informed us that there wasn’t a valid rebate offer for the items we purchased and that we would not be receiving the $400 in Visa Prepaid Cards. On 2.14.2020 The new Lowe’s Store Manager ** told me that the former store manager and ½ of his staff in Appliances were terminated for similar complaints, but there wasn’t anything she could do because it happened before she was assigned to that store.

    In my opinion, Lowe's lied to me to sell appliances at a price $400 higher than I was willing to pay. Knowing that Lowe’s staff had used this ploy to sell appliances is simply appalling. In my opinion, knowing that Lowe’s terminated the store manager and key employees for doing this to other customers is shocking, but honorable. However, in my opinion, knowing that Lowe’s won’t make it right with their customers makes them complicit. Lowe’s is no longer the friendly do-right retailer that Lucius Lowe founded. It is my opinion that their actions are unconscionable and possibly illegal. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! And by giving my truthful and honest opinion on this consumer complaint site, I hope to help Lowe’s improve its honesty, transparency, integrity and services in the future of dealing with me and its other customers.

    I purchased a refrigerator from the local store at 2900 Martins Dr West Carrollton, OH 45449 on 2/8/2020 to be delivered tomorrow (2/18/2020). I called today to confirm that delivery and found that:

    1) they had no order under my phone number; and,

    2) they did not have a refrigerator to deliver.

    Of course, they have already processed the charge on my credit card. I spoke to a manager who told me it would be about two months to get what I purchased. Alternately, they could provide me an “upgrade” to a brand/model I have already ruled out while initially shopping. I chose a full refund of what I paid. I then spoke to the store manager who apologized for the problem but could do nothing else. How can you sell what you cannot deliver? I took my business elsewhere.

    October 2019 I purchased Allen & Roth kitchen laminate flooring from Lowes. It was installed November 2019. In December the floor began swelling, buckling and coming up. There were no spills on the floor that were not cleaned up immediately. If this flooring is not suitable for a kitchen they should not have sold it to us. The installer measured our kitchen before the purchase, they knew it was being installed in a kitchen. We now have to purchase a new floor after only a couple of months. Lowes will not help us in any way.

    I paid in full to get my fence put up. The first Installers Lowe's put on the job came one time and never came back. While all the Materials Sitting in front of my house for Several months. Through it all I got a whole bunch of run around and nothing was done. After over 5 months New installers came, Using the same materials that was setting on my grace for over 5 months. Materials put several dents in my grass and my grace could not grow.

    When new Installers finally did show up the fence they put up Less than 2 weeks the woods was rotating turning green splitting up. Plus Lowe's Never refunded me money for all the materials they took back after the job. The materials I paid for never refunded me back any money for all the material they took back.. They gave me more running around and nothing was done. So now I'm stuck with the fence that's already falling apart. I would never use them again for anything and my advice - use at your on risk. I wasted all that money. That is not how business should be done.

    Lowe’s new policy on the return of power tools is a scam. The saw was purchased prior to their policy change. There is nothing in writing at the customer service counter that explains the new policy. John the store manager is rude and arrogant on his explanation. He truly is a poor excuse for a store manager! Associates like John make it clear why Lowe’s I’d closing stores and losing market share.     Beware of Lowe’s for your kitchen. I went to Lowe’s because I wanted a kitchen turn key. It was good from the design. Once they got my money $14,000 they kicked me to the curb and did nothing. I had a list of cabinet installers and countertop installers and a KraftMaid order number from the cabinets and that’s it. The install department was a joke and the store manager the most useless person I had ever met and I mean met because when I called the store he was supposed to call me 4 times but was hiding in his office. I had to go to the store to talk to him for nothing. They were not willing to do anything for me.

    The counters were screwed up took 4 times to get right. The sink cabinet was ruined from the installers. I had to fix my self. The counter company gave me a partial refund but Lowe’s sat back, did nothing and refused to refund me anything. Anyway 4 months later it’s finally done no thanks to Lowe’s and I’m talking about the Lowe’s in Clermont Florida Sandhill Road. The company itself is also useless as they also do nothing. No wonder why Lowe’s are closing stores. I’m surprised they lasted this long. Please don’t go through what I did. Home Depot is a much better option.

    I had Lowe's in Carol Stream IL. install carpet in the lower level of my home. During the installation the installers pried up on the frame of one of my interior doors to try to fit the carpet under the frame. They moved the frame to the point that it would no longer latch and you could see a space between the door and frame. They sent someone out to look at it and after pushing, pulling and prying they determined the door was not installed properly. This door has been in place and working properly for 20 years but it decided not to work after their installation. Do not let them in your home to do installations, they will not take responsibility for their errors.

    We are extremely dissatisfied with this washer, and even more dissatisfied with our experience attempting to use our 5 year warranty to resolve the issues we've had with it since purchase. On all types of cycles and water temp, and with different types of detergent (using minimal amount), our clothes come out of the washer covered in spots. Running an extra rinse cycle does not help, nor does repeating the entire wash cycle. After being through 1-2 cycles in this washer, I still have to hand wash clothing items in the sink, tub or with a spray bottle to get all the spots out.

    Through our extended warranty, a technician came out to our home to look at the machine (1/24/2020). Immediately upon seeing the machine/model and how our clothing looks after a cycle, the technician said this is a common issue with the "system" for this specific model, that he'd put in the repair order right away & someone would be out to make the repair in the next week or two.

    We were very surprised to get a phone call from Lowes Service Advantage (1/28/2020) saying that the repair was "deemed uneconomical for repair" and that we'd be getting a Lowes merchandise card in the mail for the value of the machine. So essentially, we can use the merchandise card towards another machine and have to purchase another extended warranty plan on it...when we could have had our machine fixed & have it still covered under our plan that has 3 more years left on it.

    We would rather have our machine repaired & have a functioning machine, rather than having to buy another machine (and another warranty) and run the risk of having the same issue. We will not be continuing to buy machines & warranties, only to have the warranty do us nothing but get our money back for issues that are resolvable, but have been considered “uneconomical.” It seems economical for Lowes Service Advantage to not complete repairs, give customers a merchandise card to buy another machine & need to re-purchase another warranty. This is not economical for the customer, and we feel taken advantage of.

    In the protection plan brochure that lists terms & conditions, under the section titled "What if We can't fix it?" it reads: "If We, in Our or its sole discretion, determine that your product is not repairable, we, in our or its sole discretion, will either: (1) provide a new rebuilt, or refurbished product of equal or similar features and functionality, or (2) issue a payment up to the retail cost of the product, plus applicable sales tax." The paragraph continues. There is no part in this brochure that details an appliance being considered repairable but “uneconomical”.

    On 2/7/2020 we went into the store to speak with staff & a manager about the issue, and voice our complaints regarding the “resolution.” We were told that we need to contact Lowes Service Advantage directly, and that nothing could be done in the store. Therefore, we contacted Lowes Service Advantage, who said that once a repair has been deemed “uneconomical” and a merchandise card has been created, there is no going back and nothing they can do. This is NOT what I would call customer service. Lowes, whether in-store or Service Advantage team, could fix this issue, or we would like our money back to take our business elsewhere.

    Lowe's Santee store, California. We purchased several items including some plywood. We requested cutting plywood. The customer service told us someone would be there in 15 mins. We waited 30 mins. No one showed up, then we went back the service desk, they said another 15 mins. Again, we believed them, waited another 30 mins, still no one showed up. We asked the service desk, they told us that was all they can do for us. We have to wait if we wanted the cutting service. We ended up for nothing after waiting more than one hour. Finally we decided to walked out the store. The people on service desk seemed did not care at all. They just chatting, laughing and watch us walking out the store. Never shop Lowe's again, go Home Depot, much better, at least they would tell you you need wait 30 mins for cutting service because they were busy.

    Bought a washer -dryer from a MANAGER. Was told it would be delivered in nine days (TODAY) and someone would call on delivery day with a 20-30 minute window. Rearranged our day like a couple of pretzels back and forth all day —even roping in outside help to cover gaps—waiting for THE CALL. Never happened. Called Lowe’s at the end of the day to find out why no one called. Spoke with store manager, Pia, who looked it up in the computer. Apparently they never had the machine they sold us. Computer revealed the Lowe’s staff identified the problem A WEEK AGO and asked management how to deal with it. CRICKETS!!! So they never reached out; they just waited for us to call in with a problem. NICE....So now we MAY get our machines in ANOTHER 5-7 business days (now 14-16 days later). Got them to give us $50 off the replacement but would prefer to have received our stuff today. Lowe’s implied we should feel lucky. Really?!??

Several days later they send me an email that the grill is “out of stock” and they have cancelled my order. They sell the same grill in the store. I contacted customer support and they were NO HELP. The phone mysteriously disconnected and I have heard nothing since. I used to go to Lowe’s multiple times a week. So often that my I-phone would tell me how long the trip would take whenever I left my house. I am now moving all of my business to Home Depot. This is really sad customer service!

    I went to get advice on floor covering and was totally misinformed, the salesperson was friendly but useless. He told me I would need 9 boxes of the tile I wanted and to order online. I tried- the item number was not only not to be found, but I then called your 800 number and was given a total run around but someone completely incompetent.     I thought I would post my review here (as well as all over the internet) about my experience with a door install with Lowe's. I ordered and paid for a door and storm door. The install was hideous as Trevor at the store and not one but 2 (two) installers they call out to look at agreed. The last installer called in measurements for a new door and indeed verified it had to be replaced. Not sure why the first installer's notes were not good enough but the 2 installers agreeing would do the trick, right? Well I called in 2 weeks later (knowing it would take at least 3 wks for the new door to come in) asking for an update.

    There was NO notes to be found ANYWHERE that my door needed to be replaced. It was like they were either ignoring these installers or just not going to replace it. They were trying to get a third (#3) installer out to take a look at the door to see if it needed replaced. I asked why they didnt believe the first 2... Nothing in their records of it. I started to record conversations and keeping track of all who I talked to and mentioned I was going to have to get a lawyer involved and VOILA! I spoke with Lana who said she found the notes and measurements of my new door (just like magic) and that my case has been escalated to URGENT and that the door will be ordered. WoW!

    They somehow found the notes and measurements of my door right after I mentioned a lawyer. I spoke to about 5 people who said there was nothing they could do but have a third installer out to check, I then asked... "well what is going to happen when you lose their notes and measurement?"... Paul at the store told me the communication is known to be poor. It's always been this way and there is nothing he can do to help me... Anyways, Lana "found" them. I will keep you updated on if it actually ever does get installed. I am giving them a month on this since it will take at least 3 weeks to get my new door in.

    Order#'s ** for the same item, a Greenworks Blower on clearance but able to be ordered online. Order#** successfully placed after showing in inventory. Lowe's cancelled w/o notice and was discovered while checking up on my order. Located same item at another store which again showed in stock. Order cancelled. Found yet another store with the item "in stock", ordered online and I'm sure you can guess, it was cancelled. As of this writing, all of the stores show "ship to store" albeit at twice the cost. Lowe's needs to have better inventory control. I have absolutely no confidence in their ability to fulfill online orders.

    This has been ongoing since October. I purchased $14,000 in vinyl flooring. I chose to give my business to Lowe’s for a large amount of money. 2 things regarding this. 1.) they charged me 200.00 for the contractor to deliver and drop off the material 2-3 days ahead of time to acclimate to the house. I have photo evidence they showed up with material on the date of install and installed it straight from the trailer. I went to Lowe’s in Bakersfield, CA Rosedale Hwy., waited an 1 1/2hours at customer service and finally a flooring person came up. I asked for my money back because I paid 200.00 for them to deliver and acclimate and then did not do that. He wrote my name and number down and said a manager would call means I never got a call.

    After waiting for 1 1/2 hours just to get my number and written down I was no way going to do that again. They charged me for a service I never received and wouldn’t refund me. 2.) there was a 200.00 rebate Lowe’s gift card mailed to me I earned with my $14,000 flooring purchase. I decided to use it at Lowe’s in December online. I found nice scooters for my kids and nephews for Christmas. I bought 4 of them. They never got delivered. I finally called customer service and they said they canceled my order because the online price was incorrect. That shouldn’t be legal. I bought them for the price it stayed and paid for them and you canceled and never delivered them. I asked if I would get my money back, customer service said yes because they never charged to Lowe’s rebate gift card.

    I checked the card balance and it was 0.00. So now I’m out 200.00 and no product. I called back late December and they said there was a mistake and they would mail me a new gift card of my canceled scooters and I would get it in 10 business days. 10 days passed and nothing. I did chat support next time, I told them I never got my scooters. They canceled my order and kept my money and never mailed a new refund card. They stated the system was having it issues and they would get it fixed and Neil my card and I would get it in 10 days. It’s now the end of January.

    I never got my 200.00 back from the flooring and being charged for acclimating to my house which never happened. They installed off their trainer the day of, I never got the product I purchased with my rebate card and they charged me, cancelled the order and kept the money, they never gave me my money back from the canceled order. Now I’m out 400.00. Worst service I have ever had, they are thieves to me!

    The day before a scheduled delivery I received a call to confirm delivery time window 12 to 4 pm. The day of delivery they showed up around 10 am. (Out of their time window). I found a note in my door asking me to contact store to re schedule delivery. Had to cancel the buy because they could not confirm their original time window delivery. Terrible experience.     I purchased and has Lowe’s install two replacement sliding glass door at my house. Lowe’s sent an installer that had never dealt with big doors (8 feet each). The installer did not place the doors properly bringing them inside the house 3 inches on top of my existing floor tile. The result, I went out the door and fell because there is no way to step out of the house without stepping on the door rail and damaging the door. I contacted Lowe’s and they told me I had to call corporate office to get it resolved. This was 6 month ago. The person at corporate, Eddie **, contacted the original installer Tom and asked him if he had installed the doors properly. Tom said yes so Eddie decided that is it. I have been in contact with Lowe’s for the 6 months almost every week. The doors cannot be used. If there is a fire in the house we cannot exit thru the doors without risking falling and hurting ourselves. Lowe’s will not stand behind their installation.

    Warning If you have ANY choice do not go to Lowe’s. They use the worst third party vendors for all delivers and will be rude and will not care about you as a customer. I purchased a washer and dryer and even paid the $60 to have it removed. The XPO deliver service called my husband 10 min out although was suppose to give a 30 min call ahead. Passed my husband who was 15 min out and refused to turn around. The XPO dispatcher was insulting to my husband and hung up on him. Lowe’s stood behind XPO and refused to ever deliver our washer and dryer. And we ended up having to pick them up. I will NEVER go to Lowe’s again and hope other will also think twice as they have no respect for their customers needs and services paid for.

    Lowe's sells defective products (Husqvarna riding mower and Husqvarna 450 rancher chain saws) then refuses to service or replace them. It doesn't matter if the service center you are referred to states that the product was defectively made it will not be repaired or replaced. To further the issue the sales associates are uneducated in their jobs as they will either sell you a warranty they do not actually offer (chainsaws and other small engine equipment is non serviceable in Grand Junction Co as they have no service center for them.) or in other cases (the Husqvarna riding mower with 37.6 hours of use which had the deck fall off and apart as it wasn't actually even welded) recommend you not to purchase the warranty as it is a waste of money as it is covered by the manufacturer (Husqvarna), then they will tell you it is your fault for not purchasing it after being instructed not to by their employee. Either way avoiding shopping at Lowe's is the best way to save money and save yourself the headaches.     I’m not one to complain when someone makes a mistake as I’ve made many myself, but this has truly been the worst experience since becoming a loyal Lowe’s customer. We finally decided to go with a much needed bathroom update and were trying to get it completed by Christmas day. My decision to go with a Dream Line Essence Frameless Bypass shower door was because delivery date was December 23rd. Contractor scheduled install for December 24th. I probably should not have done that but like I said, I’ve made mistakes myself before.

    I had to inform contractor that the door did not make it in and he would have to wait to install. He understood and said sometimes deliveries are delayed, especially during Holidays. He said maybe it will be in after Christmas and suggested I install a shower curtain meanwhile. He went ahead and rescheduled for December 28th. On December 27th, I had to call him and let him know that door was still not in and Lowe’s could not tell me how much longer before it’s in. At this point, he said he would just wait until door was in to reschedule.

    On January 3rd, 2020, door finally arrived. I picked it up, and called him to schedule install. He scheduled it for January 11, 2020. Once he arrived and opened the box, he informed me that he could not install it because all he had in the box was 2 glass panes (the doors) and no hardware. He said they was probably a second box missing. I took off to Lowe’s to see if they had the box. Spoke with manager and explained the issue. After 30 minutes, I had to call contractor to cancel install because they did not have anything. Manager explained to me that this was a Dreamline problem and wrote done the number so I can call them to request hardware.

    On January 13, 2020, I called Dreamline and after checking, they said this was Lowe’s problem because they picked up 2 boxes and they would have to order hardware if they lost it. By this point I am getting really frustrated! I called my local Lowe’s and asked to speak with a manager, but first had to explain my issue. After 10 minutes on hold, another person came on the line and I had to explain the issue again. I waited 40 minutes and 30 seconds before I decided to hang up.

    After hanging up, I called complaint number for Lowe’s and Customer Service Agent Gabriela heard my issue. She was very understanding and placed me on hold why she call Lowe’s of Tyler. After a couple of minutes, she came back and said it might take a little longer and would call me back. With in 30 minutes called me back and said they could not find the second box but Lowe’s of Tyler would take care of this issue within 24 hours and they would call me. This was at 11:05 am. At 11:38 am, I got a call from Lowe’s of Tyler that they have found the second box and it would be at customer service desk so I can pick it up.

    Yay! They found it! Yes, I’m excited that they found it, but really! After everything you put me through and now this $500 shower door is costing me an extra $150 because, oh yea! Forgot to mention I did have to pay contractor something for this last attempt since it was not his fault and he had to pay his guys. I really hope this door looks nice because right now I am not pleased with how Lowe’s handled this issue. Like I said in the beginning, I don’t complain when someone makes a mistake and am not one to plaster issues all over social media because I understand we all make mistakes. I do think highly of people/businesses when they own up to their mistakes and judge whether or not to continue with that relationship based on how they correct an error. In this case, Lowe’s is not a place I would recommend or continue to do business with.

    We planned for a while on what we wanted. We got a personal loan to help pay for it. We were changing the layout of the kitchen. My husband studied it, watching videos and researching the web. We agreed to a speckled gray made from a solid surface. I had a picture and used that to show the lady entering it into the computer. It was over $3200 just for the large counter. My husband and I did think it was odd that we got at least 3 phone calls to confirm our order. From 2 different people. They seemed to not know the other person had called.

    The installation was delayed, and we realized someone dropped the ball on the integrated sink. This is a sink that is made into the counter, with no seams on the final product. The installation guys arrived on time, did a fantastic job. However, the counter was a solid gray color. No speckles. It looks beautiful, but isn’t what I ordered. Lowe’s says the employee did nothing wrong. They say she ordered what we wanted. Fail. So, just be very clear on what you want, and only talk to one person the whole time.

    Horrible management. I'm sick of spending hundreds of dollars with this store and being treated terribly. Today - One register open, 8 people in line. They opened a second register. I waited in the new checkout line for almost 10 minutes then was told she was closing, and I needed to go back to the end of the first line. I've mentioned this problem to the management before and got a 1000 yard stare. They just don't care. From now on it's Home Depot for me.

    I ordered 2 sets of gas logs on 11/29/2019, using my Lowe's Credit card. 1 set arrived on 12/9. I have never received the 2nd set. I was charged for both sets on my December bill. I have made 6 calls to Lowe's to straighten this out. They state the shipper delivered to wrong address, but they will not ship another set to me, and to top it off, they will not remove the charge from my credit card account. They have told me they were "refunding" the charge, but it hasn't happened. Each time I make the (at least 30 minute) customer service call I have to rehash the entire story and I receive an apology for the poor customer service. However so far no one has been able to accomplish either sending the logs or removing the charge from my bill! AWFUL Customer Service at Lowe's!!! AWFUL! There should be 0 stars but that isn't an option!

    So I purchased on Black Friday at Lowe's all my appliance including electric range, refrigerator and dish washer this year on 11/22/2019 at the Hialeah Store #1841. Today is Wednesday, January 8, 2020 and till this day I have not received the refrigerator. I have been without my appliances almost under two months now. I have complained to the store about this situation and they said they can cancel the order and reorder it. Yet that they wouldn't honor the cost of the price. Are you serious? I was promised the delivery by December 21, 2019 and nothing showed up.

    I'm very disappointed that I have lost time off work to deal with this headache as they NO ONE bothers to pick up the phone. As a matter fact when you make a call at the store (305) 817-6570 it rings and makes you go through the automated teller and then you get transferred the call drops every time. So in order to find the status of the order I'm required to drive to the store just to hear that no one has any answers about my order. Seriously should have considered other places other than Lowe's. Let's see if I will ever receive my appliance. I hope this is read by those in the corporation as this types of issues should not happen to consumers.

    Purchased high end dishwasher ($700+) in December 2019. Scheduled drop-off for Jan 6th (so good so far). Got notifications up-to delivery date (again, so good so far). Given window of 11-3 for delivery. Got call from last-mile delivery company at 10:30 saying "will be arriving around 11:30" (great so far right). Left work, unpaid btw, to go home and wait for delivery. 11:25 got call saying, "Your "refrigerator" will be there soon." Uhhh I never purchased a refrigerator. Guy put me on hold then hung up. Never said if he was still coming or not? Waited 1 hour with no call back, no notification, then called the last-mile carrier. After 45 minutes on the phone was told that they couldn't handle my questions and transferred me to Lowe's... Another 45 minutes on the phone and Lowe's told me the following:

    1. "Sorry the Dishwasher you purchased over 3 weeks ago isn't in yet and you'll have to wait another 1-2 weeks!!!" To which I replied "So you mean to tell me you [Lowe's] as a publicly traded company 1. took my money 2. waited until the delivery date and sent a delivery truck out to my house with NO PRODUCT THAT I PURCHASED? 3. NEVER called, texted, or emailed during this time to tell me the product wasn't in and offered another solution?" Weird but no response from Lowe's agent. I then told the Lowe's customer service agent, "You know what go ahead and cancel my order and refund my money." To which I was told "Sorry we can't refund your money to your card. You have to PHYSICALLY go to the store you purchased the product from"!!!!

    Forget that it's 2020 and I can send literally thousands of dollars anywhere around the world with one of many apps yet you can't, again as a publicly traded company with stores nationwide, refund me back to my card? MAKES 0 SENSE. Went to the store after work, which I've now lost a day of work and pay, to pick up my refund. 1.5 hours round trip for me. Arrived and was told by both store managers, "Uhhh sorry but your refund won't be available for another day or two. We'll call you"!!!! WTF. "Why wasn't I told this on the phone so I didn't waste 45 minutes driving here." Silence and no answer from Lowe's Managers other than "sorry". Literally one of the worst customer experiences I've had with a corporation. You better believe I'm sharing this story with others. Jason **

    Horrible service - will never order from Lowe's again. The last order was a year ago and it had to be cancelled because they never delivered the appliance and had no idea where it was. That was after six weeks of waiting. The most recent order arrived damaged and the delivery crew damaged my walls. Lowe's told me I had to deal with the delivery company for the damage. Sorry, I didn't hire the delivery company, or have a choice in who delivered the appliance. Complete incompetence and lack of accepting any responsibility - never again.

    They lost most of the information on my order, had my contact number wrong, stood me up for delivery 3 times. I finally got someone who cared about their job and customer service. The only redeeming quality of this store is Anna, the night operations supervisor. Thank you Anna, for seeing the order through, giving me your personal cell number to contact you for updates and for making sure it was finally delivered and installed. It shouldn't be so hard to buy a washer and dryer less than 3 miles from the delivery address. I understand that they use a "third party delivery service"... Well.. It is useless! But Anna, the night ops supervisor isn't, and she needs a raise and front end position. Don't hide good customer service people out back in night jobs.

    We purchased a smoker/barbecue ($500) on December 12 in the Elk Grove store. They assured it would be delivered to our son for a Christmas present by Christmas. It wasn't delivered. I called and they said no one assembled the grill so it couldn't be delivered. No one called us to tell us what happened. I had to call them. They scheduled another delivery date. The morning of that day I got a call from the delivery person who said he was not willing to deliver the grill because it was scratched and its paint was chipped. At least it was assembled. They scheduled another delivery day with assurance that it would be in great shape. I called two days before the delivery date. The grill was not assembled and they didn't know when it would be.

    I spoke with someone who said he was an assistant manager. He assured me he would personally make sure the grill was assembled and delivered on the promised date. Today is the delivery day. My son got a call form them saying the grill was not assembled and the soonest they could get it to him would be in three days. I called the store and they assured me it would be assembled overnight and delivered tomorrow. We'll see. In my 65 years this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Lowe's should be ashamed. I plan on meeting the store manager tomorrow.

    Ordered 4 appliances for kitchen. Delivery guys rude and angry. Left dishwasher in box in livingroom. Refrigerator and stove loaded with plastics, tapes and styrofoam. One delivery guy told me products would be damaged in a fit of anger. He wad correct. Stove has huge dent. They did not make sure things worked like Lowe's website promises. On way out they threw heavy water hookups on flat stove top. Do not get appliances delivered by Lowe's.

    Stay away from Lowe's! I just finished a 4 month long kitchen cabinet/countertop project and many mistakes were made during the installation process. Installers left a mess in my home, cabinets were not installed professionally. I paid for work to be done and it was not. Lowes refuses to refund my money! I have to live with a sloppy looking new kitchen because the cabinets were not installed properly and Lowes told me it is good enough. Never shop at Lowes!

    I bought two appliances during their thanksgiving day sale according to their published terms. I have submitted required forms and receipts twice and both times they have declined my rebates. I have talked to multiple people in both their rebate and customer service departments and no one has been able to explain the problem. All they say is resubmit the request via mail (terms of the original order says you can submit rebate request by internet which I have done twice). They can give me no reassurance that via mail will make any difference.

    Communication was a mess which caused delays in scheduling the install. After starting the project the installers walked out. Actually drove to Lowe’s to tell them what happened and the manager assured us that they would take care of things, never followed through. Had to cancel the project due to no confidence and are left with the old carpet that was cut up by the installers that walked out. They claim they didn’t do it! Extremely poor service overall.     #1 Security door: The end of September 2019 we go in the store to get a security door put in for our back door. Go Into Lowe's. Pick out the door and their policy is to have someone come measure the door (even tho my husband did the measurements..whatever). Well they charge $40 for that, and tell you to wait for a call to schedule a time to come out, what's annoying is we were told the guy would come in a few days. Nope took about 2 weeks, then After getting measurements, we had to "schedule" to get it installed. That took probably two more weeks of a ** of Reschedules and no shows. Door take about 15 mins to be installed, the guy leaves and the door doesn't even ** correctly because he cut the plastic on the bottom wrong.

    #2 refrigerator delivery: My mom ordered a fridge on sale Beginning of November for my anniversary/Christmas. Delivery date said "estimated 12/9". Super excited, finally getting an updated fridge! So a month later around December 3rd my mom calls after receiving an email "delivery expected December 7th 8am-4pm. Which is cool cause we have their anniversary dinner at 5pm. December 6th we get a text message for delivery 4:30pm-8:30pm. Which is annoying because it's my parents anniversary dinner. So I decide to call and see if they can give me a courtesy call so I can leave my parents to make it there for them. They say that’s fine and they will call! It’s 8:15pm and it’s frustrating because I would like to relax and have a drink or two. So I call and the girl says “oh, the store should have called, they don’t have your fridge in stock” and the expected delivery isn’t until December 14th.

    So I’m PISSED but understand ** happens. So I brush it off. So we get a text to confirm delivery for December 14th at 5pm-8pm. So AGAIN I call and ask for a 30 minute call before because my husband has to be up at 3am and last thing I need is them coming late ringing the doorbell making my dogs bark, waking up the baby and my husband coming down pissed off. So here we are December 14th at 9:10 writing this post and not a courtesy call of fridge being delivered and I'm pissed. Lowe's should just get rid of their installation/delivery because they have no clue how to manage it!!!!

    Went to store #358 in Summerville SC to purchase a patio bench as a donation to a local church. I wanted the bench assembled so I could deliver it directly to the church but I was told that Lowe’s does not provide employee in-store assemblies anymore because of a policy change. I asked where was this information posted for the customer to see and was told that it wasn’t. Apparently customer are only notified once they purchase a product that it can’t be assembled by a Lowe’s employee. But rather a ticket is entered into the system for a third party contractor to come in an assemble then the customer gets notified to come back and pick up their product. I think this is a major change that affects customers and they shouldn’t be informed at the cash register. The nearest Lowe’s is 30 minutes away and this presents as an inconvenience to someone who wants to take an assembled product home the same day.

    I contacted the corporate office and was told that policy changes are proprietary and the customers didn’t need to be informed.????. I’m a veteran and I have taken several business classes and I don’t remember this in any of them. As a veteran, Lowe’s has become a very big disappointment and I can no longer give them my money (could it be considered my proprietary). I’m pretty sure Home Depot, Walmart, Cosco, etc will welcome my money, concerns and veteran support!

    We are so angry and disappointed with Lowe's! We had a stove delivered 2 days after purchase. They brought it in and took our old stove. They did not plug it in. We had an electrician come out the next day to install it just to be safe. He got it set up and there was not any electricity coming from the stove. I immediately called customer service and the guy was nice. He said that they would have to have one local store deliver it to another for them to deliver it to us.... What?! That makes no sense... We would have a new one in 2 days. And the store would call us the next day. They never called, so I called at 6 pm and customer service said that it wouldn't be delivered for 7 full days after they took our old stove.... What?!

    I called the store and asked the manager to call us. When he did he said it would be 2 days earlier. So now 5 days instead of 7... We will see if it actually comes. We are so disappointed with the complete lack of respect and care that we received from Lowe's. We will never step foot or shop online with Lowe's again! We have always liked Home Depot better anyway! We have never had a problem with them.

    I have been trying to get my washer repaired for two weeks now and get the same responses from Lowe's whenever I call for an update. We are awaiting authorization. It takes 24 hours even though it's been over a week. Then they open up a "parts inquiry" which I may or may not hear from someone within 5 days. Well guess what? I never heard from anyone. When I called to see what's going on they told me they would open up another "parts inquiry". Totally useless people selling a totally useless plan. They will gladly take your $$$$$ for it. Just don't expect them to step up when you need it. If I could rate it 0 stars I would.

    My husband and I purchased appliances around Black Friday and set up a delivery for tomorrow (Saturday). He has been trying for the past few days to get in contact with the department to confirm a time frame for the delivery. He was finally able to speak to someone in appliances today who said that the delivery people were gone for the day.

    We then spoke to a lady in customer service and she said a third party deals with the deliveries. My husband asked for the contact info for that third party and the lady had to transfer him to a manager. The phone rang for a few minutes with no one picking up. He called multiple times and requested to speak to a manager. The phone rang and rang each time. Finally, customer service stopped answering as well. We now have no time frame to work off of and will have to be at our house all day Saturday waiting for someone to show up. At this point in time we wish we would have paid more to purchase our appliances at Home Depot.

The woman called the store supposedly. We were told that we are on the manifest for delivery on the 6th. We would get a call from them at 8 am. Well that call never came. This morning my husband called the store and was told that it was moved to the 19th. They had to order it. We were told in the store when we bought it they had them in stock. Anyway no one bothered to call us to let us know. We canceled the order and will not be doing business with Lowe's again. All the reviews I read online about Lowe's turned out to be true. They were all very bad.

    I ordered 4 different light bulb items on Nov 24, 2019 online through Lowes.ca website. Out of 4 items, only 1 arrived correctly. One of the items was delivered wrong (not the one that I had actually ordered). Two more were cancelled a few days later because they were out of stock!!! Although there was plenty of them available at the time that I had ordered. I talked to Lowe's customer service line for more than 2 hours in about 3 days and they promised to fix this and push it through other stores, but nothing happened. I even talked to a manager and I received a confirmation email from the customer services department! (Nov 27, 2019).

    This was my first experience with Lowes and would be the last one. Terrible online order management and even more awful customer service. They opened a case to follow up with my complaint (Dec 2, 2019) and told me that I would receive a call within 48 hours (in an email); that never happened. I missed all the deals and offers on the Black Friday event and they didn't compensate it. Definitely a terrible retailer.

    We ordered a dishwasher online on Black Friday. Our order was accepted and was being processed. On the following Wednesday, we received an emailing stating that they had cancelled our order. We called Lowe's to find out what happened and were told that they had run out of stock and offered to "let us buy" the same dishwater at nearly double the price. They also offered to let us buy a much lesser model at our original price.

    I told the representative that what they were doing was illegal (bait and switch). I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for several minutes. Then I was told that no supervisor was available and it would be at least 24 hours before they could contact us. I was put on hold again and after several minutes a supervisor suddenly became available. We got the same "runaround." The result: no dishwasher. I after the call, I reviewed comments about Lowe's online and found several similar experiences. I will not recommend purchasing anything from Lowe's.

    I placed an order online for an in store pick up. When I was notified that the order was ready, I called in to confirm that the order was there and ready to go. Which that on its own was a nightmare. Nobody answered the phone over there. I had to call 5 times before anyone answered the phone. When I finally got through to someone, they told me everything was there and waiting. However, when I arrived at the store, nobody could find my order. I stood in the front of the store for 50 minutes while the people were looking. And they clearly weren't looking very hard. Because after 50 minutes of looking, I walked around the corner to where all the other pick up orders were sitting, and it took me about 30 seconds to find mine.

    As if this wasn't bad enough, believe it or not, it actually gets worse. There was an item missing. And they flat out refused to give a refund or find the missing item. I was forced to pay the full price of the full order (which was already charged to my card prior to all this) and go home without a $153 item! What am I supposed to now. Because the rest of the order is useless without that missing $153 item, but I certainly don't want to ever deal with their incompetence ever again.

    Order confirmed when I purchased a new fridge for delivery on their Black Friday sale. Paid for haul away of old fridge, purchased extended purchase plan. Order confirmation said delivery 12/2/2019, being fulfilled by Gainesville store. Then next day email saying ready for pick up in Buford GA store. After more than 45 minutes on phone with Buford, supposed to have it all worked out, to be delivered on 12/3/2019. Today get another email saying ready for pickup at Suwanee store. Called Buford back. Manager did not seem to know anything, just said, "Your fridge is in Suwanee," and to go pick it up - go figure!

    After several minutes on phone with her, she said, "Will be calling Suwanee store to get this corrected." I am holding my breath that tomorrow does not come with yet another email saying pick up at some other store! What a nightmare this is becoming. I am totally regretting that I passed up similar fridge at Home Depot now. Dont know if I will ever get my fridge delivered as it was supposed to be all along. And cannot seem to make any progress because Lowes keeps handing order off to another store, may be a year or longer if they have to assign to every store in the state. Run from these folks for online orders. If you cannot get it in store, go somewhere else!

    Me and my Husband wanted a chain link fence installed for the safety of the little grandkids. We went to Home Depot, the prices were very steep, so we went with Lowes. This process started in June, we needed to pay up front so the product could be ordered, we did. Our scheduled installation was July 17 2019. The installers came without notification, my husband saw them on our security cameras, he went home for lunch and met them, they cut our Patio blocks to install the walkway fence, (I did not approve) the workers comment to my husband was the gate was too long (the fence was too small so they cut into my patio blocks instead of putting the post in the dirt). Also the 2 drive gates were too small for our vehicles to fit through.

    I came home to continue to watch them and found the fence being put in front of our main drain line in the back, I questioned the worker (he was not fluent in English). I advised the fence post needed to be further back before he finished, he stated he did not want to touch the tree line, and refused to move them. I called the office, they stated they would call me back, I had to call 3 days and threaten to call corporate. I finally got a call back from Chelsea. She stated they would reach out to me the next week, that did not happen. I called again spoke with Michael, he would put me off every time for about 4 days.

    Finally Bryan Lowes Salesman) came to look at the finished work, found that both gates were too small and noticed the drain on the outside of the fence. Bryan contacted the contractor and advised them of the corrections they needed to do, and ordered the drive gates, when I spoke with Michael again 3 weeks later he stated he only knew of 1 drive gate not 2, I corrected him. He investigated and released I was correct, and ordered the 2nd.

    WE are now into October, and they want to correct the positing of the fence line and change the 2 drive gates, well the workers did not have cement to pour for the new post, (they had to go and buy some) now the post after 1 week are not sturdy and the fence moves (very wobbly) and the drive gate in our driveway is so uneven that upon opening it drags on the concrete. Of course I called and complained to Michael, he stated he would get them back out to correct again. They came back a week later. Poured more cement, but did nothing about the gate dragging. I am now livid. Very disappointed with LOWES.

    Bought a storm door with installation. Was Told that the door would be installed within 10 business days of arrival. The installer kept rescheduling our installation appointment, not even calling to tell us they weren’t going to make it during the scheduled installation appointment, and gave us attitude when we complained. Called Lowe’s to request another installer be assigned because the 10 days had come and gone. They (the installation customer service dept.) said if they did that it would take even longer and that we should give this installation company one more chance and that we could receive compensation for the issues.

    The installation was finally done but no compensation. Instead they are wasting our time sending us in circles from customer service to actual store and back to customer service. It’s been multiple phone calls and 3 weeks since this all happened and no resolution. This company is irresponsible and horrible. Will never shop there again.

    We remodeled our kitchen and bought new appliances, etc. and need to replace our backsplash. We had a stick adhesive backsplash that looked terrible. We went to Lowes and found just what we needed and it was so reasonable. Our sales clerk was very helpful and informative and we found just what we wanted. We ordered it and then it was installed a couple of weeks later. We had the most competent and awesome installed. His name was Ricardo and he does fabulous work. He was fast efficient and got it done in a day and it looks beautiful. His work was flawless and the job has enhanced our kitchen décor so much. Thanks to Lowes in the Norton Common area on hwy 22 and to Ricardo for a great job. We are happy customers.

    I ordered a Craftsman handsaw online and chose to pick up in the store. I was sent an email stating we are preparing your order. That was days ago. Never heard a thing from Lowe’s. I was able to check the status using my order number and to my surprise my order said CANCELLED!!!! Thanks for nothing Lowe’s. Guess your company is so big that your customers don’t matter.     I bought a Samsung fridge in 2017 with Lowe's warranty, with my military discount (which they do not give anymore when item is on sale) for over $2400. I have had service 4 times on the icemaker (5th time this week). When I called last week for my 5th service call & the warranty dept told me they were going to do a buyout, gave me a claim number & said I'd get $2200 returned once all settled.

    Sunday, I went on their website, purchased a different brand with my Lowe's cc, lo and behold, they delivered it the very next day Monday. Later that day I got a call saying the person misspoke & I do not qualify for a buyout, because 2 of the service calls were through factory warranty & 2 were through extended. The 5th one in their eyes is only the 3rd one. So now I have 2 fridges in my home, they would rather come get the new one, bring my Samsung up from my basement, have it repaired again. Not to mention I'm a disabled vet & it took me 3 hours to empty my fridge onto my deck, also I have to do it all over again. Lowe's does not care one bit about veterans or anyone else! I have shredded my Lowe's cc & if you are smart, you'll do the same thing!!!

    I bought LED Christmas lights from Lowe's last December. Lights were used less than six weeks. Went to reinstall this year and multiple strands were not working. Called the 1800 number and it was a Lowe's store exclusive product. They told me they would need 7 days to reach out to the manufacturer. I explained that Christmas is only 6 weeks away and I needed a faster resolution. They suggested I return to the store. Went to the store and they told me there was nothing they would do regardless of the fact it was their product. Called the 1800 number back again and got hung up on after I asked to speak to a supervisor. So many service failures. It's hard to focus on just one.

    Shopping for countertops, we started at Home Depot...because it was the first store we came to. However, I’d had a great experience at our Minnesota Lowe’s store buying countertops so, when I needed them in our Arizona home, I went directly to my local Carefree, AZ store. I worked with Iris to come up with a plan and I selected a Silestone product. I was thrilled with my choice and that it fit into my tight budget. After all, Lowe’s quoted prices included installation (except for cutting a sink opening). Like in my Minnesota experience, this was deciding factor for me.

    An outside installer was scheduled to do official measurements at our home. They came. They left. A week later Iris called to say there would be an additional installation charge of over $1000! I was crestfallen. I was also angry that installation would be that much more when installation was included! The explanation was that additional structure was required to bear the weight of the Silestone. I cancelled my order. Iris was the BEST to work with but, though she could explain the policies and be somewhat flexible with the Lowe’s prices, she couldn’t convince the installer to waive all his add-ons.

    Next, I considered the composite granite. We found one that was similar to the Silestone and in an affordable bracket. Again, I paid and moved forward with the order. A new installation company was sent to our home. After all measurements were taken, again we were notified of a substantial upcharge! This time, we were told that the upcharge was to cover the expense of added structure under the countertops due to a garden window. Iris did all she could to fight for us but the installer would not absorb the additional charges.

    Though I was angry and very disappointed, I was tired of the entire futile and frustrating experience by this time and decided to just drop everything and live with my old, out-of-date Formica countertops. Iris and I selected a date when I could meet her at the store to process another refund. That morning, Iris met me up front at the customer care desk. Franz, Iris’s supervisor joined her to process the large refund. I waited on a bench off to the side. After several minutes, Franz and Iris came out and approached me. Franz apologized for my wait but explained that the decision had been made on behalf on Lowe's to provide the countertops and installation at the price I had already paid! I was so shocked that I cried! I was thankful that I chased down my husband to share the good news. My husband’s response was this: “I guess this makes it clear that Lowe’s is our go-to place for home improvement from now on.” So be it!

    The follow up is that, about a month later, the guys arrived to install the new countertops. The installers were so fun, professional, efficient and fast. I love the finished product! Our friends have been so complimentary. I have a bright, light kitchen. It's just as I’d hoped. Fun fact: No added structure was required to support my countertops when the old were removed to reveal what was there.

    Delivery was originally scheduled 8-3, then changed during the day to 9:30-1:00, then changed again from 2-6, then I got a call that the driver was running a half hour late. The driver showed up at 7:30 and the condo doesn't allow deliveries after 7:00. The deliver company would not reschedule the next day so I called the store and they said they would get me on the schedule for the next day around 2:00 since I wasn't available until 11:30. That night I got a voicemail from the delivery company and I was on the schedule from 8:30-12:30. I called and they couldn't make the delivery when I was available to accept it and their attitude was "too bad"! I called the store again and their attitude was the same. I'll never buy another thing from them!

    EVERY MONTH I buy 10 30 sheets of plywood that needs to be cut. And in the past 6 months their saw is BROKEN!!?? So after the third time being told this I find out from one manager and then store manager these parts are on back order. And let's not forget it takes whomever it is that works on this saw 3-5 weeks just to get to the store and look at it!!!! OMFGOD!!!! And now again this past week of...Nov, 9th 2019 SAME ** all over again. Talked with store manager.... This guy don't give a ratz ** about ANYTHING but himself.     We purchased an exclusive color Silestone Quartz called Copper Mist from Lowe's in the end of Aug. They came out. Did template. With many appointments coming late the installers finally showed up on Sept 25th to install. We had to pay extra because of the weight and size of island piece but they still only had 2 people show up. My husband ended up having to help.

    This began the nightmare where they have placed the countertops cockeyed cut gaps on the edges so big that you can see the floor and top of cabinet wood. My counters are gray cabinets cream color. They filled these gaps with opaque white caulking and also got it all over my cabinets and counters. The glue on counter and backsplash is all globby and all over counter. Their fix they could change out caulking to clear! They completely forgot a 5 ft piece of backsplash that they claimed we hadn't paid for.

    The next day at Lowe's it was refigured and we had paid. So they brought it out and that too was 1/4 too short. This was suppose to be different installers but they sent the same 2 as the first day. And he would not address the crooked and cut wrong issues. We ended up making them leave. The Island is placed crooked, they placed the faucet and sprayer hose holes so far back from sink the faucet water splashes all over counter, The counter is over on 2 in of the apron front where it shouldn't be with cuts next to it that they left open and even with drill holes. They left 1/4 in gaps on both sides of the stove front only. They fit tight in back. One side of counter workspace is over an inch shorter and the overhang is only an inch and the top end is almost 2 inches over. Not one piece they installed is right and to top it off they tore my new 36 in hand hammered copper sink and damaged a custom cabinet.

    We ordered a 3/8 bevel edge which was almost $2 an in and what we got is over 1/2 inch bevel and is half the thickness of counter. They sent second crew who told GA GRANITE that they felt redo was the best option. Weeks of being passed from person to person we would be told it would be redone to they were going to fix what we had. Unless you can regrow quartz that's not happening.

    They sent a third crew out and we thought again they were going to retemplate but no. They claim nothing is bad enough. They said they were sending money for my sink. Hasn't happened and now they want to send their cabinet people out instead of the people we had build and install to fix the damages. To fix a cabinet that is not sold by them and was custom put together. So now we are 7 or 8 weeks out from install. They have stop communicating with us. Like we are just going away.

    The holidays are coming up. We can't finish our kitchen walls or install tile or stove vent cause we are still waiting on countertops and damages to be fixed. I have hundreds of pics of this $8000 mess. Oh and I almost forgot. They cut the 22 x 36 sinkhole out in my house. The installer had a respirator on. I was in living room crying because my house filled with white crystal dust. We have open floor plan and even upstairs was covered, all the wood on walls the beams. Inside my cabinets the pantry.

    We had sore throats and headaches and now a cough for weeks. Even my animals were sick. I would wet mop washed the wood down and there would be more fall out every day. Never will we hire Lowe's or GA Granite < Lowe's quartz supplier and installers for anything, I wish I could give lower than a one star. Hopefully this saves someone else from the horrors we are going through.

    Don’t give them your money! I’ve never had such an unprofessional job done in my life. The people they sent out to install my carpet could hardly speak English. They were supposed to fix a damaged area of the floor and level part of my floor before installing any carpet which they refused to do. Then they put down the carpet pad in my living room and were going to just leave! I called Lowe's and the boss told them to finish the job. The installer told me he was in a hurry to get home for the weekend as he didn’t live around here. Mind you, they showed up several hours late to begin with. So after about an hour I left to go to the corner store for a few moments leaving my daughter in charge. I came right back but they took that opportunity to leave without finishing the job!

    The living room rug wasn’t finished near one door and none of the threshold bars were put down in that room or in the other one upstairs. Also they left all of the doors off of the hinges. They left in a hurry. I have made numerous phone calls and sent so many emails that I have lost count. I have asked for a refund for the work not finished and items I paid for that I never received. It has been about two years now and all they do is ignore me. Their customer service at the local store and at the corporate office is a joke!

    I will NEVER again do business with these unprofessionals. Worst job ever done in my home. I had to pay someone else to come out and finish their job. I gave them thousands of dollars and received shoddy work. I also told the installer to please leave me my carpet remnants as I had plans for them. He said he would but of course he took off with those as well. If you want a job done right and on time go somewhere else. Steer clear of Lowe's!!!! Never again will I give them any business.

    FINALLY HAD to get new fridge. Went all out. Felt we deserved it. French, 5 door, roomy fell in love! Took Lowe's year special on interest making a monthly payment to pay off in a year to defer interest GREAT! We are seniors felt we should purchase the extended warranty, first time ever! Now dream fridge quit working. Find out no techs are available in our area to honor our extended warranty, so Samsung said we could have a store credit meaning I still owe $1800. Store credit means I will still owe my account balance. I HAVE SINCE FOUND OUT I'M NOT THE FIRST WITH THIS PROBLEM AND THERE ARE CLASS ACTIONS INVOLVED. This doesn't help me but other consumers beware!

    I purchased a Hotpoint washer and dryer within the first year the tumbler broke and started tearing up our clothes. I took day off work for a GE repair. He took one look at it and said it was warranty and he would send me direct a replacement and then explained how to install it. No tools were needed, problem resolve. Now

    I am on the 4th exact repair. It's been almost a month since service tech said he would send out 4th tumbler “because the washer is a piece of junk” but that's not their fault.

    I contacted Lowe's warranty and spoke to a rep named Dominic. He was a prick and informed me because I installed the tumbler myself I would void my warranty. I tried to stay calm but he was a prick so I asked for a supervisor. He refused so I hung up and called Lowe’s corporate and spoke with Karen. She an operations supervisor but again she only a little better than the prick Dominic. She said the only thing we can do was to set another appointment for GE to come out and see that it was broken then to have them install it a second visit. 2 days off of work for that and a total of 8 so far since I bought the dam thing. So don't waste your money on Lowe's extended warranty. Save some money and go to Home-depot. It's a better company to deal with in my opinion.

    We are a home builder in the Ocala, Florida area. We purchase tens of thousands of dollars of products for our home builds. Tried a couple of times to order 4 kitchen appliances through Lowe's East Ocala appliance department when we went to store. Our knowledgeable guy Chris was not working those days. There was another young man working there, but didn't know about appliances and was babysitting that department. So, I decided I will order online on October 26th, 2019. Was told order would arrive November 8th 2019 on two different trucks. Waited till after 5 on November 8th and received ONE APPLIANCE CORD only, NO APPLIANCES, no second truck. Called Lowe's delivery immediately, there was no explanation for non delivery of appliances. Told me I can have Saturday delivery, same thing, no show.

    Called Saturday after no show, told Sunday delivery. I called Sunday A.M. and was told there was no delivery scheduled. After back and forth on the phone on Sunday morning was told I would be first thing on Monday morning, November 11th 2019. I called Monday morning November 11th and there is still no appliances on a truck. Sitting here waiting for a call back and my plumbers who are scheduled two months ahead of time are at our new house build with no dishwasher or refrigerator to hook up!!!!

    So Lowe's has chosen to no longer provide deliveries, and have hired a 3rd Party delivery service, XPO Logistics, who have proven incapable of doing their job. At first XPO seemed great; delivery within 24 hrs of online ordering, but my community doesn’t allow Sunday deliveries, so I needed to reschedule for Wednesday Oct 30; I received confirmation email and text, but I didn’t receive 4 hr window. So I called on delivery day #1, Oct 30 at 8:30am, and I was told the order was cancelled overnight, with no explanation as to why. It was just cancelled, and I had to reschedule for Thursday Oct 31; fridge was delivered, installed, and damaged. Installers were blasé about it, said it happens all the time, told me to call Lowe's within 30 days and they’ll send new one in 24 hrs, but I was leaving town for a week.

    On Friday Nov 1 I called Lowe's CS to report the damage, but I would be unable to accept delivery until Saturday Nov 9. I rescheduled and was told by XPO no problem, they will deliver my fridge on Saturday Nov 9, and received an email confirming it. Friday Nov 8 I received an automated call confirming delivery for Nov 9, but again, I did not receive a 4 hr window. On now the 2nd delivery day, Saturday Nov 9, 8:30am, I called XPO to confirm delivery and I was told it was removed from the schedule at 4am, AGAIN with no explanation as to WHY. No Supervisor or Manager were available as they were “in a closed door meeting”, and I was told to call Lowe's CS. Lowe's CS tried to do what they could, but this is out of Lowe's CS hands; XPO trucks were already out for delivery, and XPO said they could not deliver it, even though they confirmed they would. XPO was to call within 24 hrs (by 10am Sunday) to confirm; if not, call Lowe's CS again.

    XPO did NOT call by 10am on Sunday Nov 10, so I called Lowe's CS at 10:05am and was on the phone for 2 hours; they were on hold themselves during this 2 hr call, waiting to speak with an XPO Supervisor. Lowe's CS was first told by XPO that my address is out of their delivery area, but they already delivered to me a damaged product (to say the whole city of Ocala is out of delivery range is beyond me, and there’s 2 Lowe's here, the closest 2 miles away – is nobody in Ocala allowed deliveries by XPO??). The first XPO employee also told Lowe's CS that they have the product and it’s ready to be delivered. When Lowe's CS finally spoke with the XPO Supervisor to confirm the 3rd delivery date, he said they don’t have the product, but they assured it will be delivered on Tuesday Nov 12. XPO also assured delivery on Oct 30 and Nov 9, so I’m not holding my breath for delivery on Nov 12.

    I would not recommend ever buying a major purchase from Lowe's. Just went through the most frustrating experience purchasing a dishwasher from them. Customer service is absolutely horrible and downright rude. They tried to add on a bunch of bogus charges when the installers came. On top of that I waited over two and a half weeks for delivery and install when I was told it would take 4-5 days at most. They lie to your face, change their story. They really don't care about getting your business. Really mind boggling. I will go out of my way (we live very close to a Lowe's) to NEVER buy anything from them again.

    I have always had a preference for Lowe's Home Improvement. Their store is always clean and bright. Their items are easy to find. Their employees are very nice and helpful as well. I have always found pricing to be extremely fair at Lowe's Home Improvement, and have learned, over the years, that they're more than 'construction items' but, also, curtains/drapes, lamps, etc.

    I love their customer service! Every time I go in there is a friendly person there to point in in the right direction and when I get to the right there are knowledgeable staff to help me do the job right. Most importantly I admire how they give back to the community. We recently had 2 young adults lose both of their parents. Their house needed some work before it could be put on the market, Lowe’s stepped in and covered the entire cost. This is why I support shopping at Lowe’s.

    I have been shopping Lowe's for years. Today I went into the Clermont FL store to pick up a window that was ordered over 2 months. Went up to customer service where Juan was working. He is a VERY rude and nasty person.     The staff at Lowe's always seems to be helpful and around when you have a question to ask no matter which location I visit. The prices aren't always the cheapest but the service is what keeps me coming back. The quality of the items they carry at Lowe's is much higher than those "discount hardware stores." Their tool rentals are pretty quick and easy but the selection of tools is what makes Lowe's stand out to me. The one thing that I like most about Lowe's is their layout, it might look similar to their competitors but they do a much better job putting items where it makes sense.

    What I really like from Lowe’s is their customer service. The people working there are very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I would have is that there is not as much variety of items as some other home improvement stores.

    I have been doing business with Lowe's for at least 15 years and they have never let me down. I can't think of a "Department" I haven't purchased something in with complete satisfaction. I even purchase all of my appliances there, during the last couple of years I have purchased a refrigerator, washer, dryer and last month a microwave oven. I used to conduct classes on total quality management and customer service so I know it when I see it----and---- Lowe's has it - thanks.

    Their online form made me enter the customer information twice and finally I got an order number after a lot of small errors on their site. Two days later, I received an email saying the order has been canceled with no other explanation. Not sure how Lowe's think they could compete with the likes of Amazon in the online space with their current check out system, but if you have stock with them you better sell.

    I try to check their website for availability. It won't allow the store location to be changed! Only reason I used them, is because they are only 2-3 miles away! Home Depot is about 10 miles away and I use them 1st. Not much better, but internet access for inventory!

    Store is always clean. Finding staff for assistance is usually a challenge. When found, most are helpful and have some idea of what you are talking about. Returns is the biggest headache - not enough help or confusion.

    A few years back my refrigerator broke, leaving me in a bind I bought a smaller size one at Lowe's. The seal around the freezer door was old and the freezer wouldn't freeze very well. This thing must have been in a warehouse forever or one somebody traded in. I went to the store multiple times and the person who sold it to me never returned my calls. No help from the manager. The extra warranty cost almost as much as the refrigerator so I didn't buy it. I would never buy an appliance from Lowe's again.

    Lowe’s and Home Depot are the big box home improvement stores close by. They are virtually the same. The main difference is in the staff. If I am lucky I will find an associate who is knowledgeable and can truly help me. Otherwise virtually the same.

    The end of May, we paid for fencing to be installed around our new in ground pool. The fencing material was delivered the first of July and the installers arrived the first week of September. We were frantic all summer with an open pool and lawn damage from two pallets of material. Many, many phone calls were made and never returned. Very difficult to speak to a person. Usually got an answering machine. We drove an hour to the store where we purchased the fencing and spoke to a manager who told us to contact someone else. The absolute worst customer support we have ever seen. Huge run-around. Will never do business with Lowe's again.

    I shop the Orchards store in Vancouver Washington. I have yet to meet an employee that did not have a good knowledge of where everything was in the store. Most of the employees seem to have a depth of knowledge that comes from working in a construction or sales trade. I am not sure what kind of training program they have but it obviously is a great one. Always satisfied when I leave the store with usually what I came to buy. Great staff!

    Lowes remodeled my kitchen. Matched my cupboards almost perfect, No one can tell the difference unless I point it out. They Painted a few rooms for me. They have laid carpet on my patio. Also I just bought shelving that I could put together my self (I am 86 years young). I have always Been pleased with Lowes. They had a softener installed, and they put a new front screen door put in for me. I feel like Lowes is MY STORE.

    No help from Lowe's or Husqvarna. They both referred me to Briggs & Stratton when my 2016 tractor/engine blew up. Took to lawn mower shop for new motor on me and the whole place was filled the Husqvarna Lawn Tractors with blown Briggs and Stratton engines. They know the single piston 18.5hp Intek engine is junk. Needless to say I will not patronize any of the above mentioned companies ever again. Lowe's blew me off, Husqvarna blew me off, and Briggs and Stratton did the same. Don't buy the Husqvarna lawn tractors with Briggs and Stratton engine.

    The delivery team didn't want to wait 2 minutes for my water line to clear so they could install my washer and dryer. They refused to remove either unit so I had to remove the dryer. They wouldn't undo the water lines for some reason they explained, then left. And did not give me any tools to unscrew it so I had to fight with it for far too long. Nor did they leave me with a way to get the units out of my house. So now I'm sitting here, 3 hours later with $1100 worth of new appliances and attachments sitting on my porch. No way to bring it in. I paid $40 for them to haul away my units. My old units are still in the house, new ones outside. The most they tell me on the phone is "I can't promise they'll make it back out today." They even hung up on me while I tried to figure out a response! They didn't say, "Hello," "Are you still there?" "Customer not responding, agent disconnect," nothing!

    In late 2018 I purchased 3 new battery powered smoke alarms from Lowe's in Woodbridge, VA. After @ 8 months, 2 of the 3 started alarming for no reason. I returned both to Lowe's but was sent away because the will only accept the returns within 90-days of purchase. Unfortunately this info was not made clear to us at the time of purchase. If a product comes with a 10-year warranty, you'd think Lowe's would honor that beyond 90-days, or at least post that info next to the products on their shelves. Nope, this wasn't the case. Normally Lowe's is a great place, but they need to stop selling First Alert smoke alarms; they suck. Try selling Kiddie smoke alarms instead. FWIW, my subsequent attempts to get help directly from First Alert have failed. They responded to my first email but now a month of silence. First Alert: you've lost me as a customer forever.

    The associate at my nearby Lowe's took extra time and much needed patience to assist me with my winter fireplace concerns. I have real wood and had been using a fire log to get it going. He showed me a bag of 8"+/- stick that do the trick. They lite up immediately and the logs catch on fast. Saved me lots of dollars.

    Lowes is a fairly decent home store. They aren't the least expensive by any stretch. Yet they do have good quality products. For the most part I have found Lowes to be pretty much side by side with other retailers when it comes to products. Where specialty items are needed Lowes can usually provide a fix for most DIY projects. The stores do have knowledgeable people working most but not all shifts. I've found the women employees to be just as knowledgeable as the men when it comes to answering a question. I would recommend Lowes as a good home improvement stop to accomplish most tasks.

    In building a home we purchased cabinets, countertops, fixtures and more. It took 6 months to complete installation of our cabinets after they were delivered. We purchased one specialty cabinet that we will never receive. Corporate personnel have stopped answering our calls and emails. In my opinion that is stealing our money. It may sound more reasonable in pricing but it is not worth it. Run. Run somewhere else!!!

    We ordered a new fridge on-line which was to be delivered for free from the Aurora, CO store. We confirmed the delivery date by phone and were told we would be called the morning of delivery to confirm the time. The day of delivery went by without a call and without a fridge arriving. We called the main number, they called the store and were told we had "bad weather" in our area so the delivery had been cancelled. Roads were clear and passable and the sun was shining that day. Another delivery date was arranged and we again did not receive a call to inform us the fridge would not be arriving this week but next week.

    The Aurora, CO store delivery manager, Rich, did not return calls as promised. No effort was made to let us know when the deliveries were not being made, so one of us was at home, away from work, for two days waiting on a fridge. Corporate told us on the phone they would "escalate this" but no effort was made to assure the delivery of the fridge. We finally cancelled the order, not feeling assured we would get the fridge next week. We bought from a small-town Ace Hardware store (should have done that in the first place), where we know the people by name and they have to look us in the eye when something goes wrong. They gave us a better price even. I would not recommend buying from Lowe's, where a customer is just another number and not worth the effort.

    Last year we had to redo our walk in closet because a “clothes bar” pulled away from the wall and pretty much collapsed due to the weight of all my suits and clothes etc. We shopped around & ended up going with (LOWE'S) because they had the best price. They came to the house and they did a very good job. We are very happy with the the results. We had a few minor issues, but they were resolved very quickly. Would definitely recommend (LOWE'S) for some home projects.

    I shop both Lowes and Home Depot. I prefer Lowes because of the way it is laid out, the ease of finding what I am looking for, the quick check out and the fact that they have my status as a veteran linked to MyLowes Card. This means I get a discount every day on every purchase without asking. I really like the fact that at each transaction they say, "thank you for your service." I gave them a four on varsity because I find that they tend to not carry major brands, i.e. Honda power equipment. Also, they garden shop tends to not be as well stocked as the one at Home Depot.

    I went to Home Depot and Lowe's looking for a refrigerator. Although I couldn't get any help at Home Depot, Lowe's in contrast gave great service, very personal, and she gave me a better refrigerator at a good price because she wanted my business. Delivery got messed up so they gave me an additional $80 discount. Overall good experience.

    Stupidity without boundaries. This company seriously exhibits stupidity beyond comprehension. I've been waiting 2 months for a refund, that clearly will not come. The number of mistakes this STUPID company has done is mind boggling. They initially charged me double of the receipt that I got. They did not know how to correct it so I cancelled the order. They keep refunding one item at a time. It's been 2 months. Should I not have received the full refund by now?

    Do not order anything to be delivered from the Midland Texas Store. They are idiots. They forget about your order and then take weeks to get it scheduled for delivery, only on their terms. They do not answer the phone after 3:50 pm. They do not call and schedule deliveries. They Will not accommodate the customer at all. It is their schedule and can not be adjusted for a customer. You call customer service and they can not do anything about it. They forget to deliver your product and then they cant deliver out of town 25 miles away? These clowns are the worst I have ever dealt with. Be advised: Go pick up your order yourself when it comes to Midland Texas Lowes! Tom

    They do a good job on helping you find items in the store and you can always find someone to help you and if you do have a problem when you have a special order they will make it right and do what they can to make you happy even if it's not the fault of you R the store. They do a good job to kept the store clean and in order.     I enjoy shopping at Lowe's. I especially appreciate that they provide US military veterans with a discount every day on all purchases. They even have reserved parking in front for veterans.     We have had an unfortunate experience with Lowe's in the way our appliances were delivered. The plastic was left on. The checklists weren't followed. The Delivery guys asked me to help them find a new job. We had a flood in our home and the Executive and Risk Management are truly the best at spinning it into your fault when their delivery team didn't install items correctly. It's sad because the Lowe's staff in Colorado are great. But when Lowe's loses customers it's because their home office customer service is so terrible.

    The stores are usually cleaned, well stocked and carry a variety of quality items. There are plenty of staff to assist when you need something but never push a product. Check out is efficient.     I only go there when I absolutely positively have to. The closest one to me is the Manchester, NJ store and for the life of me I cannot understand how that store is still open. The employees there less than helpful and the most annoying part is going to customer service for help. They page for assistance, but no one comes and you look around only to see them standing around and talking. Don't bother calling corporate, they just yes you to death.

    Handle wasn't needed for dryer gas shut off valve. Due to it intentionally was installed that way for safety. Wrench is to be used. So 3 hrs on phone, $175.00 later & 1 month later it will be installed.

    The people that they contract to do the job is lousy. Had a floor installed, they billed me for the material and labor. Too much material that I didn’t need and boards that wasn’t for the type of floor I had. I was able to return this extra stuff but the extra time for the labor I was out of luck. I complained to the manager of the store and they were to get back to me after they talked to the company but never did.

    Lack in variety is a problem with the box stores. Everything China has to offer, nothing else. I went to Lowes for a washing machine outlet for the hoses, they had 4 choices, none close to my needs. Amazon listed dozens, none with the specific specs I need. Shopping can be frustration, online OR at box stores.

    Lowe's has deteriorated. Last time there when asking for assistance, I was sent to 3 different aisles before I found my product. The assistants have no clue where different products are located. When I finally found the product, it was not located anywhere near the correct aisle. Also, they were sold out of another product and were not interested in ordering it. Finally, they did not have many of the products which the computer said could be found at Lowe's. At one time, I was interested in a fence and their fence guy came and measured and left and I never heard from him again.

    Lowe’s sends me to corporate and they call A & E service to fix it. Four times they send out a guy that just stands there and makes rude comments to my daughters and my self. He is condescending and arrogant and made us feel incompetent. I put in complaints about him and they sent out another gentleman that ordered parts for the machine and was supposed to return to put them in. I then waited around all day and twice they canceled the repair. Then again they set a date between 8 & 5 pm and it was the same guy (Daryl) that came the first few times. I refused. Told him not to come and asked for the gentleman that ordered the parts as he seemed to know what he was doing. I’m still waiting. He or someone from A&E is supposed to come today. I am ill and cannot wait all the time. I have Dr.’s appts. I HAVE to be at. Please help me with this.

    I find it very difficult to find assistance in store 0252 and most other locations that I shop. I typically have five or more associates walk by me before one of them asks if I need assistance. Much of the time it appears they avoid customers to finish a non-customer related task. If they provided better customer service, most customers would buy more products. Home Depot is no better.

    I really enjoy shopping at Lowe's. The isles are situated for easy shopping and they don't move things around so it's always easy to find every time I visit. I can usually find what I need with an occasional stop sometimes at home Depot just because of preference of a brand. They are also priced competitively.
