We got a tub and a shower combined from Independent Home, and I like that I feel safe in it. They said this is the first one here in Grand Island. The guy that sold the tub to us was wonderful and very friendly. He asked us a bunch of questions, especially concerning my health. The guys that put the tub in were wonderful as well. They came in and shook my hand because I’m in a chair, and every time they walked by me, they said something to me. It was funny, and I enjoyed them very much. At the same time, they were meticulous at what they did. They put a canvass from my hallway down through my living room and through my sun room. They even had it in the bathroom. They didn’t get my carpet dirty, so it was a wonderful experience.

I had a good experience with Independent Home and I like everything about the walk-in tub that I bought from them. It was the size that I wanted and the rows are very conveniently placed to be used as both a tub and a shower. The dealer I bought it from was very professional and the purchase went very smoothly. It was as easy as it could be. The installation team was wonderful and they knew what they were doing. They did very well and there were no glitches at all.

Independent Home's price was right. Their salesperson and installers were real nice and real good as well.

We like the tub of Independent Home. But the floor is too slippery and I have a balance problem. But the dealer and the installers did a good job as well.

Independent Home's salesperson was very nice. He seemed very knowledgeable and he was very convincing, and we believed him. We usually get American Standard and he said it wasn't as good, so we went with him. The installation team did fine, too. My husband is the one that uses the tub more. The grab bars appealed to us and the seat was the right height for my husband to sit on.

I went online and did some comparison for tub companies. At that time, Independent Home had the best price and installation cost. The salesperson and the installers did a good job. A couple of doors had to be widened but the installation of the walk-in tub was done in one day. I like the tub's design overall and it’s a good product. It's doing a good job and my wife loves it. I would recommend Independent Home.

I had an excellent experience with the salesperson of Independent Home that came out. The process of purchasing the tub was a piece of cake, as well. The installers were very nice and really cleaned up too. And it was a good deal. However, the little pocket area where the door closes in holds water down there after I enter it. And I have to wipe it out each time. But I got the handicap feature with the jets and there's nothing I don't like about it.

Salesman was fine, wasn't pushy. The installers work very fast and efficient. Did a great job, never seen two people work so great together and how fast they done the job. I cannot wait to try out my new tub.

I saw a brochure on Independent Home and I wanted to try it because it gave a good definition of what old folks should do. I’m old and I was having trouble getting in and out of the tub. With the walk-in bathtub, I could sit down for as long as I wanted and it would eventually start filling water at me and I like that. I had very nice interactions with the salesperson who sold it to me as well as the installation team that put it in. The tub is very good and now, I could take a shower or just sit there and soak.

There's been so much advertising about walk-in tubs. We responded to something and a guy from Independent Home made an appointment, came out, looked the house over, and talked to us. It was a great experience with him. He made all the sense in the world and sounded like he knew what he was talking about. Since my wife had expressed a lot of fear about getting in and out of the old tub, the man was at the right place at the right time. We went with a walk-in tub shower with hydrotherapy. Based on how the salesman was describing it to us, it seemed to have the best set-up of all of their models. Although the installation team that came out started and finished late, they were a good team. They were courteous and they answered our questions. I'd tell my friends to check out Independent Home.

The salesmans was a nice fellow and the installers (DJ and Tim) was nice and polite and do very good work and would recommend this company to anybody. I can't wait to test my tub out and see how well it helps me.

Someone from Independent Home called me and the salesperson was nice and very talkative. We had wonderful interactions. I checked with other tub manufacturers and the prices were higher. So, I got the Independent Home tub model they told me over the phone and then the installers who came were great. However, the aromatherapy feature doesn’t work right and doesn’t even smell when I take it out. I think they gave me stuff that doesn’t smell and so far, I haven’t found any place to buy the stuff. Other than that, I don’t have to climb over the bathtub anymore like I used to do.

I couldn’t use my regular tub to take a shower so I decided to get Independent Home. The only thing is it took a long time to put the tub in because my house was old and it had old construction in the tub area. It took a whole week, but the installers told us what was going on.

We had been wanting to get a walk-in tub for a long time and after I saw something on my phone and clicked on it, Independent Home called us right away. Their salesperson was a very nice man and was very positive for their product. He didn’t try to pressure us, which I really appreciated. We decided we get their tub and the installers came, put it in, and did that within a day. They told us what this was and that was and they showed us how to operate it. They were really good, knowledgeable, and seemed like very nice men. I like the tub very much and the fact that it’s got the bars that I can pull myself up on if I need to. I also like the air coming through causing the water to massage my body. And, I just like being able to take a bath and not having some trouble getting in and out. I would recommend Independent Home.

I had several bids and Independent Home was the lowest. The other companies I called were so high-priced. I got Independent Home's walk-in tub and it has a shower. I like the waves and all. They told me they could do the work in one day and they did. They did a great job too. Someone else said it would take them two days to do the job and but Independent Home did it within six hours. Their installers were very professional and nice. They explained everything to me.

I’ve been seeing the pictures of all of the different walk-in tubs in all the different magazines, flyers and had been really interested. Independent Home had a good price and we decided to look into it. It had good features and we went with a walk-in tub that sits down one person. However, we’ve got a big hot water heater and Independent Home does not have a water heater that goes with the tub.

Independent Home called for me and made an appointment to talk about the tubs and the benefits. I called my son and he came down. We both went through the program with the salesman who came and my son seemed to think it was good for me. At that time, I was getting afraid to get into my tub. I was afraid I was gonna slip and fall. The walk-in tub I chose seemed like a really good deal and it was what I needed. My son also agreed with me so I went ahead and got it. The installation went really well too. In about a day and a half, the tub was in and they were through. The team was very good and I'm very satisfied with the tub. Now, I can get in and take a shower, and not be afraid to fall. It's been a great experience.

The salesperson of Independent Home was very nice, very knowledgeable and he sold me. It was a very simple process purchasing the tub. The installers were very good, very efficient and very polite, too. I really haven't used it that much though because it takes so much water and I don't have that much water.

I am in the process of having a Walk-In Tub installed. I have been excited about having this type of tub. At this point the installation is going well. The installers have been very personable and helpful. They have involved me in every aspect by sharing everything that is being done making sure I am very satisfied. I can't wait for this wonderful bathing experience.

The price of Independent Home was pretty reasonable. I enjoy the walk-in feature of the tub that I bought from them. The only thing I don't like about is it takes so much water to fill it up. But the salesperson was great. The installer did a good job too. He did what they said he was gonna do and was in and out in a shorter time than scheduled.

I had no problem purchasing my tub from Independent Home. It was an easy process. Also, the installation team was very nice. There were two people and it took two days. I had a tub that has the shower and jacuzzi installed and the quality of work seems to be very good. The tub feels comfortable and safe and if anyone asks Independent Home, I would tell them to go for it.

My late wife was in a bad condition and we could hardly get her in the shower, so we got the Independent Home tub. Two girls did the installation and they were really good. They were all fuzzy about everything and they did a good job. The tub was good for my wife and we both liked it. It was easy to get in and out of and it looked really nice too. We were happy with it. Everything turned out really nice. I’d recommend Independent Home.

I got a call from Independent Home and since I was in contact with them, I decided to purchase from them lower-cost walk-in tub because the only difference between that and the others was that it didn't have all the bell and whistles, which I didn't need. The purchasing experience was very nice. The salesman who came explained everything and seemed like a nice person. The installation team went around their business and took care of everything. And if they had a question, I was here so all went fine. They did it in one day and left no mess. It all went smoothly like they said it would and all I had to do was write a check. I'd recommend Independent Home to anyone.

I got an Independent Home straight walk-in tub without any power, whirlpool or light. The whole process was well thought out of and took about a month. They called me ahead of time for installation date, and I spoke with the installers ahead of time as well. The guys who came did a good job and I liked them. I've only used the tub once, but it worked okay.

An old boy that sold the walk-in bathtubs to me had my phone number so I asked and he told me about it. I wasn't even thinking about having one, but I did it anyway since I'm 88 years old and I'm getting to where I was thinking I'm gonna have a little problem. So, I thought that this would be a good time to do this. The guy said the Independent Home tub was half-priced. I purchased the highest priced walk-in bathtub because it had a shower and a quick pump to drain the water if something happened and had to get out.

We got a call from a guy from Independent Home who wanted to come out the next day and he did. He talked to us and didn't sell us anything that we didn't want. The price was right and it had everything that we really wanted. That's why we went with them. We live in a double-wide trailer, and it was gonna be a really big job to get it in our bathroom. So, we told them to cut the Sheetrock and slid it in from our den, and that was what they did. Then they put the Sheetrock back. It has a crack on it, but it’s not really that bad and noticeable. The installation went well and they cleaned up after. The tub has this feature where it can massage your feet with just the air blowing around your feet. It will start blowing real hard and then it'll settle down a little bit. Then, it will come back again with a surge. They also put some aromatherapy on it. We love it.

I like Independent Home and I've put the word out for them too. it is a great company and they have a great crew working for them. I purchased the tub due to my health problems. I’ve had back surgery and I have serious problems with my legs. And the gentleman who came out was very forthcoming and patient. He walked through the whole process with me and there was no pushing. When he came back to do some additional caulking, he even stopped at Walmart and picked up a shower curtain and a curtain rod. He didn’t have to do that but he did and he even hung those for me. The guy was fantastic.

I'm 83 years old and I was falling in my regular tub and slipping up in it. I didn't want to hurt myself, so I decided to get a walk-in bathtub. I was trying to get the cheapest way out and went with Independent Home. Now, I don't have to worry about slipping like I would in a regular tub. I'm real pleased with the tub and I’m enjoying it. I would recommend Independent Home 100%.

It had a quadruple bypass operation and the hospital people kept pressing me to not get in and out of a tub without someone with me because I could fall. They made me so afraid of taking a tub bath. I had two tubs but I was terrified. I didn't take a bath and I just hand washed at the sink for a month. So, I decided to get a walk-in bathtub. Somebody from Independent Home came here to tell us about their tub and then, somebody came a couple of weeks later to put it in which was wonderful. The installer would stop to explain things, then we understood and left but the installation was so smooth and it was all done in one day. We came back later to put the holder up for the soaps and it was perfect! I didn't think I'd like that little wire thing holding the shower head but I've learned to adjust to it beautifully.

Neither Kirk nor I could get in and out of our old tub anymore. We consulted Independent Home and their sales representative came out to the house. He was very friendly and helpful, and gave us all the information that we needed. We liked the walk-in bathtub that they offered and we decided to go ahead and buy one. We got the biggest tub model they had. The two installers were very efficient and did a great job. They told us the installation would take up to nine hours, but they finished the job in six and a half hours. Everything looks very nice and we’re very happy with the tub. I would purchase a tub from Independent Home again in a heartbeat.

Independent Home's rep was very efficient and professional. He was right on time for his appointment. The installation team was wonderful. They made sure that everything was done properly before they left. They even took the old tub out and cleaned up their mess when they were done. My wife couldn't step over the old bathtub to get in and we love the walk-in tub. We've had a little bit of problem with the leaking around the door, but it's because of the amount of pressure we put in closing the door. It's just a matter of going far enough, but not too far. I'd tell friends to come over and try it. They'd be sold.

My mother had a really severe arthritis and had fallen and gotten a compression fracture. It was really hard for her to get in and out of the other tub. I was purchasing the Independent Home for her and before it got installed, she passed away. After my mom died, my dad got sick and been in and out of the hospital in emergency rooms and doctors' offices. I had to take a medical leave of absence to stay home with him and get things situated. I thought my dad would be able to use the tub, but he can't because he is in much worse shape than my mom was, and he can't get in and out of it without a lot of difficulties. So I have to have a walk-in shower installed somewhere. My sister and I use it, and we like it.

My husband is gonna be 80 next year and I’m gonna be 79. The jacuzzi tub we have is a really big one and it’s surrounded by a deck in the bathroom. At our age, getting in and out of that tub is difficult. So, we looked into getting a walk-in tub as a safety factor. We figured we could put that in so we could sit down to take a bath or we could stand up or sit down to take a shower.

My husband is not well so I thought I would be able to use Independent Home more with him. But I don't think I'm going to be able to do what I thought I would be able to do with him. I did get him in there once and filled it up most of the way, and he seemed to enjoy it, but it takes so long to fill up. Nonetheless, the salesman was very congenial. I enjoyed talking to him. The installer did a good job. He was very professional, he worked well and cleaned up after himself.

Independent Home came by the house and I talked with their rep. I got the tub with the shower since we're getting older and we need something like that. During installation, the installers were very polite and did a perfect job. They did it in a day’s time. I love my tub and I’m very pleased with it. It feels good when I use it and I relax better.

We had talked about getting a walk-in tub off and on and my wife heard about Independent Home. Purchasing from them was very easy to do. The installation took one day and the techs were very nice and courteous. The bathroom was spotless after they were done. They did a fabulous job.

This company tried to put in a walk in shower style that I did not order and was subpar. When I complained one of the 4 people I talked to, named Greg, tried to intimidate and bully me into accepting their product. I also found out from my plumbers that they damaged my joists in my floor and did not do any plumbing in the correct way! The people that installed the shower were not plumbers or licensed contractors and should not be do this work. For people that may have gotten the correct tub or shower still do not know the damage that was done under the tub or shower or their house.

The Independent Home bathtub is a quality product. It was the most expensive bathtub but I like all the features and the quality of what we were getting for the money on it. We got the one with a lot of aerators and a lot of air flow things to stir the bath and the installer did a good job installing it. It took a day to complete it. All in all, I have a real good experience with Independent Home.

One of my friends in a nearby town told me that there was a guy over at her house, trying to sell her an Independent Home walk-in tub. She lives off her Social Security and couldn't afford it. She as told she could get a loan, but she doesn't don’t make that much off Social Security to pay a loan off. I said I was interested in the walk-in tub and to send the guy over. She gave him my phone number and he made an appointment with me.

All of us are getting up in age and it was hard for us to step over in a tub. I got a telephone call, we set up an appointment, and the reps came out and talked to us. My buying experience was good due to the way the rep explained things and the ones who put the tub in were good. They cleaned up their mess and did everything perfectly in one day. It's easier to take a bath now. Independent Home is wonderful.

Independent Home's purchasing process was very easy. I could either pay it off all the way, in six months or without interest for 18 months. My interaction with their installation team went very well. They installed the walk in tub perfectly and we're very much satisfied with it. However, I've had a knee surgery so I haven’t been able to use it for the last four weeks. Nevertheless, I’d highly recommend them.

We got a call from an Independent Home rep and I liked how how the rep handled the phone call, the unit's price and that they're guaranteed for a lifetime. The salesman thought that the model type that we got was a good one for us. And it seemed to have exactly what we wanted. The installation team had a terrible time the first week that they came to deliver and install. They had a car accident and the tub was totally destroyed so they had to reorder it. They came back a week later and they installed the tub in a matter of hours. They did an excellent work and they did exactly what we needed and wanted. I would recommend Independent Home. In fact, I tell others to give them a try and see if it will work for them.

We liked the Independent Home walk-in tub's price and the rep's speeches so we decided to go with them. Everything about the installation was good. We had a nice experience overall. Eugene is enjoying the walk-in tub.

We had a phone call about Independent Home's walk-in bathtubs. We had been thinking about it and they offered to come out, and it sounded like it was a good one. My husband is a large man and we thought it would be good to get the big one. We went with Independent Home and our experience with their walk-in bathtub has been good. Two men came and they worked hard and fast and got the installation done.

I got a tub from Independent Home which has a handheld shower that can be put up for a regular shower. The water jets are small but rather powerful when we use it. It's about a 6-inch step to get in the shower and for me, since I am somewhat handicapped, it's easier to get in than out. But other than that, I like the tub very well and I like the features which I can use in various different ways.

The installers (Dean & Alex) were very polite and very efficient with the work of installing the new tub/shower. The manner in which the job was done was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone that needs a walk-in spa.

I got a call about walk-in bathtubs but I was thinking about it already. The guy from Independent Home was very thorough and I was impressed with his presentation. They sent two ladies out for the installation who were so professional and sweet. I was so pleased with them. I’ll be 86 in November and I had to make do with a shower for years so I’m enjoying the walk-in tub every day.

My wife has to go to a masseuse and a chiropractor and I thought about buying an Independent Home tub with hydrotherapy, so it would help her. The dealer was nice and during installation the guy was here when he was scheduled for. I just stayed out of his way and he got it done in 2 days. They did a good job and they cleaned up after themselves. The shower is what I used mostly and it was a little small. I don’t have much space on it but it did work here.

I spoke with members of the corporation today. It appears we have reached an acceptable solution to this issue and they have agreed to complete this in a timely fashion. We realize that mistakes can happen and feel they are taking the appropriate steps to correct the matter and we expect rectification by the end of the week. They were professional and their responses to our family’s concern were addressed with respect.

I bought an Independent Home tub and I had a really good experience with the dealer I bought it from. Its installation went really well. I got a few scratches in the house because the crew had to move the big tub around, but that was expected. They were in a hurry to get back to Missouri, though, so they weren't able to patch that up. I've got the air and the bubbles from the jets in my tub. My daughter-in-law says I should charge the people who take a bath in there.

My Installers - Johnny and his son John Paul - arrived early. They were very courteous, very professional, and they finished my installation early. It is a lovely spa. I am sure I will get a lot of use out of it. It was a pleasure working with them.

Much better than the salesman said. The extension is the same color as the walk-in not white as he said. The installers did a wonderful job in the bathroom. They was very nice and fast. I would recommend to my friends.

I have fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis and my spine is deteriorating. I've seen Independent Home in the healthcare accessories store and it has hydrotherapy. The installer was friendly. He had my other tub out and the new tub and floor put in very quickly. He cleaned up every night and took all the stuff away, and I had nothing to do. He went out of his way to get things done and make us happy. I couldn't think of anybody that would have done it any better or any nicer. We were just very pleased with the whole thing. I love my tub and get in it every night.

When I purchased an Independent Home tub, the dealer was fine and the reps answered all the questions. The guys that put the tub in were fine too and we enjoyed the day they were here. They also answered all the questions and they were as nice as they could be. But I’ve got a couple of drainages that I need somebody to come out and look at. It’s where you use the spray and it keeps dripping even though I turned it off, but it's no big deal.

Installers were professionals. They did carpentry, electric, plumbing. Left everything clean and finished. Showed up on time every day and laid drop cloths before walking on my floors. I could not ask for a better job. I am completely satisfied with my new spa.

Install was efficient, clean, and thorough. Full explanation of tub operation including cleaning and maintenance. Randy was very thorough and organized. Very happy with every aspect from sales to installation. Installers were early and did an amazing job. I have lived in many houses over the years and never have I been so pleased as I am today.

We have been looking at walk-in bath tubs for some time. My wife was having extra problems and a phone call came from Independent Home so we might as well take a look at it. The salesman did a wonderful job of going through the differences between Independent Home's bath tubs and their competitors'. Also, he shared his own personal experience with his tub, and looked at where we want to put in, making sure it would work.

The installation was professional and clean. They showed up on time, very clean. the walk-in tub works great. Well done. Job was completed in 1 day and we were able to enjoy the tub that night. They removed all trash and followed up with an item that was missing (pillow) right away.

When I got a call from an Independent Home salesman, I told him to come and talk to me because I was interested and I had been looking at different products. He came and I liked him very much. He was very nice and not pushy. He gave me the information I requested. I told him at that time that I might not be doing it for a while and he told me that it was perfectly all right. He then asked that I keep the information and when I'm ready, to just give them a call and they'll come and talk to me. Eventually, we decided to go ahead with it. The men who came to install the smaller model bathtub were excellent. They were very polite, they tried not to disturb us and they cleaned up after themselves. They came, did everything they had to do and were out in a day. They even kept in touch with me. So far, the bathtub is fine and I like it very much. Everything looks great.

Independent Home has good workers who are easy to work with. But, one thing I didn't like was the financing. I didn't know they were gonna sign me up for a credit card, which I didn't appreciate. I closed it right away. It had been raining in the backyard when the installation team came. Despite the flooding, they did a wonderful job.

I love the tub! I like the spa the best because we've got six acres and after working outside, I take a shower upstairs, get things organized in the house then I'm like, "Okay, it's spa time. Don't disturb me.” I have my music and drinks. Aside from that, the gentleman who had come from Independent Home was also wonderful. He just sold us. I had seen the walk-in tub ads on TV but I like something more personable and it was like we had known the gentleman all our lives. He was very down to earth and straight to the point. He was also wonderful about answering any questions and what our concerns were. The installers were wonderful too. Those were good old country boys and that's what I like. They showed us how it worked and they were excellent.

Independent Home was about half the price of the other people we had gotten to come out. We like the salesperson who came out, too. He was very knowledgeable, wasn't pushy, and he really liked who he worked for. He said they were young, but they were really good and he haven’t had any problems since he start working for them. I'm a large lady, and the people at Independent Home weren’t sure which tub would fit with me even though the guy measured me. They didn't know which would work best for me. They sent two different tubs so that I can make my choice. They freighted two of them just for me to look and pick. That was at their expense just to please me, and it did impressed.

When I spoke to Independent Home's charming salesman, everything went well. We tested their walk-in tub models and we took it. Their installation team was wonderful. They were able to take the old tub out and reinstall another in one day. It was amazing. So far, our experience with the walk-in tub has been very good, but I don't like to sit there that long during hot times. Still, I'm happy I have it.

I’m disabled and I’m having trouble getting into the bathtub. So, I purchased a walk-in bathtub from Independent Home and everything went well from their salesman to the installation. When I had questions about the financing, there was a number of a gentleman that I called and he was very professional and very quick to answer. The installers were very good, too, and they did an excellent job. A the time, my toilet was running and they even fixed that. They were quick to get in and get out as well.

Jason and Josh were very pleasant. They came on time and worked hard and very fast. They cleaned up very well the whole time they were here. The spa looks great and will be a wonderful and safe addition to our home. We can't wait to use it.

We were cruising the internet and my husband picked out four tubs to look into and the Independent Home walk-in bathtub was one of them. The gentleman who came out, Murray, was very pleasant. He answered all the questions, and I had several in-between. The price was also much more reasonable than a couple of the others. We ended up going with the middle of the line model. It’s wide and it’s a 32. It’s the widest they had and it fits just right. I wanted the door on the outside and the most necessary thing I needed was I wanted to have it wide enough so I wasn’t wedged in there like a sardine. I’m wide and I wanna make sure I had enough width to fit comfortably on the seat. It was fit into the space that we had perfectly. The installation team was fast. Though they had to cut our bathtub out with a very noisy tool, we didn’t even know they were there. They did it all in one day and cleaned as they went.

I’ve looked at a bunch of walk-in bathtubs that’s on television locally and I have some issues with not doing local labor. Then a lady who is one of Independent Home's exterior staff people called and talked to us about thinking about walk-in bathtubs. She was consistent and willing to adjust to my timetable. It would be different if I made $200,000 a year and there was never enough money to worry about. But the issue was I needed to talk to her a couple of times, and she was persistent in a nice way. She also made sure that she calls back when she said she would.

I had a phone call from the Independent Home salesman, Randy, who was in my area and wondered if he could come talk to me. At my age, I have a problem getting in and out of the tub. I needed a walk-in bathtub but I had heard first that they were going for $25,000 and that was prohibitive. But when Randy told me the price of $10,000, I knew I needed to get it. The installation team came around 8:00 in the morning and then were out by 1 o’ clock. They were wonderful, very competent, professional, and they knew what they were doing. All I had to do was stay out of their way and they did a great job. Now, I feel wonderful and I should've gotten the tub sooner. But I also hope the price is coming down because elderly people really need the tub. It’s a lifesaver. I’m a physician of many years’ experience and at my age, every woman, especially who lives by herself, should have an Independent Home bath tub. So, by all means, go get it.

We purchased a walk-in tub from Independent Home and the dealers were very nice. They were also very informative and they got in right and quickly. The installation was perfect as well. When the installers got through, they were very professional and nice. However, Independent Home didn't tell me how much it was gonna cost me until I got deeper into it but other than that, it was fine. All in all, Independent Home did the best job that could have been done.

The tub installation was exceptionally thought out and executed. The surrounding woodwork enclosure was very well done and because of the change in floor size Jay expertly installed flooring. Bathroom remodel - The end product is very nice and will be used extensively. Issues during installation were resolved quickly. The only concerns I have found so far is with a grab bar crooked and misaligned corners on the tub shelf. These are correctable problems that I have not yet reported.

The people who installed my Independent Home walk-in tub took a small space and found more space, so they can put the tub in there. They eliminated an awful lot of my storage areas, but that was a small sacrifice for having the tub. The tub is different and has built-in water jets, which are nice. But, the biggest thing for me about this tub is that I can sit down. What I do when I get in is I shower as the tub fills, and then once the tub fills, I turn those jets and sit there for a few minutes. It feels good when I'm in there, but it tires me out. And as I'm readying for bed, I pull the plug and it empties quickly which is good. I never have to freeze to death waiting for the water to go away. I would recommend Independent Home.

Installer was very friendly and helpful. I felt confident in the work he was doing. He explained everything as he went along which helped me understand. And also when he was finished showing how it worked. I have no negative thoughts about his work or his manner. I love the end product.

I was 100% satisfied with Independent Home. We liked the way the tub looked. Our purchasing process with them went well. The sales rep came out and we were informed of what would take place and it basically took place that way. We then negotiated the paperwork when the two men came to install it. I really like the walk-in tub I have from Independent Home. My knees have stopped bothering me so much which was driving me crazy for a lot of years. During the installation, the installer was friendly and helpful. He is also going to change a few things if I ask for it.

The installers were very nice, cleaned up behind themselves, and did a good job. I'm happy with it. Independent Home did fine, but I'm disappointed with the walk-in tub. It's too cold to get in there and by the time it gets the water in there, you're about half-frozen. And it eats up a lot of hot water. I run out of hot water before it gets filled up, and I've got a good hot water heater. The tub was just not what I had hoped for.

Install of new spa - Jason and Josh were fantastic. They were very efficient in there work. Cleaned up great after the work was done and while they were working everything stayed clean. I didn't have to worry about them at all. I felt safe in the house with them. I had a nail appointment and left them there to work while I was gone.

I was amazed that they were on time every day. They took time to explain everything they were doing. They allowed us to keep certain parts we asked for. They were very courteous and understanding. They worked hard each day. They didn't bother any of our personal items.

I’d been thinking about a walk-in tub & after some reviews decided on Independent Homes. I could not be happier with my decision. I’m 73 with fibromyalgia, restless leg syndrome, lymphoma cancer history & back pain due to advanced degenerative facet arthrosis, (simply spine arthritis). I also have some vision problems which causes balance problems so safety is a major issue for me. I’ve had my spa tub about a month & look forward to using it every day. The installation was completed in one long day which amazed me. The guys were very professional, personable & took great care in protecting my wood floors. They had to move some furniture to create a work path & returned my furniture & cleaned up everything on completion of the job.

I’ve heard good things about Independent Home's service. If something goes wrong I can call and also that I can pick the tub up and move it to another home. And if I want to they will come in and hook it up. My husband had major back surgery and he could not get in and out of our tub so he needs a walk-in tub. We have a very small bathroom. We could’ve taken the tub out and put the shower in, but the shower is so small. So water would have been everywhere. And I didn’t have time to be adding on, knocking out walls because I needed to have something ready for him three weeks after rehabilitation in the hospital. My only option was to do a walk-in tub.

I've checked walk-in bathtubs for quite some time and when I spoke to Independent Home's salesperson and told him about the very small area where I'm gonna put it, he said that they've got one that will take care of it and asked if I could let him come over, look it over, measure and see exactly. I said yes and so I got a tub that fit in perfectly. A nice young couple of guys came, did their work and cleaned all up. They were wonderful, very nice, and very polite. So far, the overall quality of the bathtub has been good and I would recommend Independent Home.

We called Independent Home and the salesman came by. However, I had a little problem as it appeared that everybody in the world would get the same discount they offered so it was nothing special. Nevertheless, the walk-in tub seemed to be a good product and though we didn't do as much research as we might have, we found out it was within the range of the prices. Even though the price bothered me some, the purchasing experience was okay. I gave them my credit card number, they checked it and it was valid. Then I paid for the tub. The installers were efficient, interesting and of good humor. They let me watch and they did a great job. They also put in a water heater and a garbage disposal for me, which I requested initially. Later on, they installed a water heater. Everything has been working fine since. Still, I'd tell friends to do more research than we did.

I can't fully describe the satisfaction I feel with my purchase of the Hydrotherapy Spa by Independent Home. The sales representative was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the system and kindly answered all of my many questions. As a microbiologist for over 40 years, I feel reassured about the in-use Double Ozone Purification System, as well as the post-use Self-Purging Cleaning System. This is not an ordinary walk in tub, but a Hydrotherapy System, and IS MADE IN AMERICA! Additionally, the Life Time Warranty on Workmanship AND the Motor eases my mind, giving me one less thing to worry about.

The lady from Independent Home who came here was very pleasant. She explained everything, and since we had talked about getting a bathtub all year, we decided to go ahead and do it. We really like the model that we got. Purchasing it was fairly easy, and the installers were very good and very polite.

I didn’t like the way Independent Home's salesperson sold the tub to me. A lot of things he said is not practical. I told him I wanted it installed inside the bathroom shower and he said, “That’s no problem. We can do it. We can change the roof and you can do all these things.” He was sugarcoating a lot of things. The person who came to do the work said it was impossible to do it that way. So then they had to change it.

My husband died a couple of years ago and I needed to redo his bedroom, the hospital bed, his bath and all kinds of stuff. A good Independent Home salesman came to the front door and I said, “Come tell me what you can do as far as this bath tub is concerned” because I moved upstairs right above my husband’s room all the while he was sick. I said I need some sort of impetus to get me down to the first floor again and stay in the bedroom where he died. They showed me all they could do including take out that old bath tub and all the surrounding things. And I wanted a seat in there to sit down because I’m in my 80’s. I needed to sit down to wash my feet instead of trying to balance myself. I got the one where I have a seat in one corner that drains at the back. They enlarged the drain and put in a real fancy one as far as being able to sit there and handle the hot water, whether standing up shower or sitting down shower.

Usually I don’t like salesmen but David from Independent Home is so driven. I’m always trying to get people involved on another side of an argument but that doesn’t work with David. The Independent Home walk-in tub gives me the independence that I cherish. I really praise the girl that’s been giving me a bath. But I’d still like to take a bath by myself. And I like to shave and brush my teeth while I’m in my bath. They’re the only things I can do by myself now. The installation team came in the morning and they left in the evening and it was done. They were quick as it can be and they worked hard. The tub is very comfortable. The seat was hard and I have a tender posterior. My housekeeper went down and got a waterproof cushion and it really was nice. So that worked out good.

Independent Home was the first one to come along and they came and put the bathtub in. Buying it was good and it all went on schedule.

I've had my Independent Home walk-in tub for three weeks now. I enjoy it and it's fine except it has a blower on the back that when you're sitting in there and you turn the bubbles on, the blower blows cold air on your back. And I don't like that. But the salesman and the man that came and put it in were both wonderful. They were very helpful and assured me that if something was missing or arise, they would fix it. Independent Home seems to be a reputable company.

My experience with Independent Home was wonderful. I love it. I'm 76 and I live by myself, so it's just perfect for me. I wouldn't trade it off for anything. It was very expensive, and it was something I had to consider about buying because of the expense, but they did give me quite a bit of discount. They gave me a medical discount also, which was $2,000 off of it 'cause of my medical problems. Then they gave me other discounts that were available for me, and I used them too. They worked with me and they made it so that I could afford it. They started $23,000 and it moved down to quite a bit less than that. If people can afford it, they need to drop that money into that tub. They need to get one 'cause they don’t realize how safe they are.

I've enjoyed my Independent Home tub quite well. The installers did an excellent job. My only problem is it's a little pricey. I got a friend, got the same thing for $4,000 less. I also don’t like the way they do their financing. I received a credit card, but it's not a credit card. It's only good for Independent Home and my payments are based off of that. And I don’t like that. They should've just set up an account and sent me a bill. But Independent Home seems to do what they say they’ll do.

I was interested in a walk-in tub and there were several of them out there. I got to talk with this guy and he came out here and I liked what I heard. The process went really good. They were really polite and courteous in the service and then the ones who put it in were super good people. They cleaned up after that and took everything out like they were supposed to. The product was a little high, but I'm perfectly satisfied with their service. Independent Home seems like a good company.

I got the top-end model of Independent Home walk-in tub and everything's come out excellent. The salesman really knew what he was talking about. The installation team knew what they were doing and everything was done perfectly. They left the house in great shape. The walk-in tub is great. I use it just about every day.

All of the other tubs that I looked at had an abundance of features. One unit even took a high electricity because it had two motors and all that cost money on features that I just didn’t need. We walked into the showroom and looked at the hertz. It was great. They explained everything and the service has been fantastic.

I love the walk-in tub. It's everything that Independent Home said it was. I got the celebrity model because it had all the features that I needed to relieve the soreness in the back of my spine. It was doctor ordered. It has been a god sent for me. I used to have one of those whirlpool thing that you put over the side of the tub and it didn’t work half as good as this one. Walk-in tub is definitely a very therapeutic for me. But I have to get a larger water tank because I only have a 40-gallon and it doesn’t quite fill up the walk-in tub. But other than that, it works fine and it’s beautiful.

I have really bad arthritis and I've been wanting a walk-in tub for a long time. The Independent Home people who talked with us was very nice and polite. My husband said the installers cleaned it all up through and the bathroom was clean when I got home. They were really efficient and they did their work professionally. It was really nice.

Purchasing the walk-in tub from Independent Home was easy and the installation team was nice. They didn’t get here until right at lunchtime so they had to come two days. It took them about nine hours. Walk-in tubs are expensive and I figured the other companies were too expensive. But anybody over the age of 70 should have one or try to get one. I feel more secure when I go to take a bath now, which was the reason why I bought it.

I have been hearing about Independent Home for years. I had been in touch with others and was not satisfied with the results I got. When the gentleman called and asked if someone could come out and talk to me, I thought that it would not cost me anything to talk. The guy who came out was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. My wife told me she wanted an Independent Home walk-in bathtub and it was okay with me. We selected the tub model because my wife doesn’t want to see me fall on my head and I like it very well. The man and his young son who went to our home were very nice and amenable people. The installer did their job and the installation was very clean. But the guys doing the finishing work should learn to do trim carpentry. I’m a finish carpenter and I would’ve done it differently to hide the joints. Other than that, Independent Home is great and I highly recommend them.

Independent Home called up and asked if they could show us their products. The agent who came to our house was very good. She showed the different ideas and why we should have a bathtub. We chose a walk-in bathtub because if we needed anything, we have to have something with support so that when we step in, we won't slip. The installation was excellent too. The guys went right to work and see if they got it worked. Overall, Independent Home did a very good job.

We needed a walk-in tub for my wife and my neighbor recommended Independent Home. She couldn't get in and out of that old bathtub we have. We have a shower in the garage and it wasn't convenient for her to go out in the garage all the time and take a shower so I decided it's time to get her a walk-in tub and replace that old bathtub that we had. The sales rep was very cooperative. The price was a little higher than I thought, but we needed it. I'm with USAA and I have my credit card with them and all my insurance. He was very familiar with USAA and explained it clearly on the phone so, when we picked this one it's charged on my credit card. That's unusual and he was helpful on that. His knowledge of the product seems to be quite well and he understood it. He also told me a lot of the stuff that I didn't know about, all the competitors and what have you.

If you want a walk-in tub, Independent Home will give what you ask for. We got something like a mini sit-down hot tub. It had the size and the features that we wanted. The salesman, who was like an oversized Mr. Clean was great. We liked his personality and the way he explained things. He was professional, and he was also cheerful. Meanwhile, the team they sent out was fantastic. They were fast and courteous and they explained everything they did. They were very communicative and good at their job.

The salesman from Independent Home was the first of many that showed up. He was a fast-talker salesman like most of them but he made me a better deal than anybody else. Like any salesman, he wouldn’t take no for an answer and that he’d give me the best deal but it was costly. American Standard came two days later and they had a much better tub but it was $4000 or $5000 more money. The Independent salesman only showed me one model of the tub which was the one I got. A couple of guys came and worked all day and installed the tub. They made a mess and cleaned up 90% of it but they didn’t get all the dust. They were focused on their job. But I would tell a friend asking that Independent Home is not the highest quality one.

I spoke to 3 companies before choosing Independent Home. I am so glad I found them. As the manufacturer they are able to offer a much lower price and faster install. They also offer lifetime warranty on products AND labor. A big relief not to worry about who to call or what a repair will cost. Walk in tub and higher toilet will be installed this week. Can't wait.

I did some research, went to different places, and read about Independent Home. I tried to find out what the prices were. Independent’s price and reputation were the factors that made me choose them. Also, they said they had a discount for vets. The salesman who came was very pleasant, very professional and thorough. Also, he made me feel at ease that I was making a good decision. He guided me in a nice way and I appreciated his help too. The rep recommended a tub model as I’m 6’ 2” and a good size. He also wanted to make sure the walk-in tub was big enough for my comfort and how it would fit in the house. He took a number of different factors and shared with me what he thought would work best for me.

I was on the computer looking at different websites about walk-in tubs. It automatically notified everybody in the world that I looked and I started getting a bunch of calls. I let two bathtub companies give me a bid but Independent Home was the most polite and was not high pressure. I got a lot of people on the phone that were very rude, asked a whole lot of personal questions that they had no business asking and that was not the case with Independent Home. So, it made a difference. The representative who came to my home was very knowledgeable. And the installers did what they said they were going to do. They were knowledgeable too and did a very nice and clean job. We have already recommended Independent Home.

I love my tub and I like everything about it except the seat because it's so uncomfortable. I had to put a towel on the seat or it hurts my bottom. My son loves the tub, too, but he was also disappointed with the seat. During the installation, I didn't notice that the installers removed about a 4-6 inches of the baseboard between the tub and the door. They did not replace that molding and I did not notice for about three weeks. Still, the couple of installers who were here were wonderful. Overall, I'm really satisfied with the tub and I would tell my friends that Independent Home has been wonderful.

My husband saw Independent Home's ad and I had been telling him I wanted a tub. The gentleman that sold it came in, talked to me and I liked everything he said. We just simply listened to what he had to say. I generally pray about everything before I buy it but I felt good and I had my husband purchased it. The price went up as you went up to other things too. This one has the aromatherapy dispenser and they gave me an extra grab bar and it has of course, the shower thing on it. They also extended the lifetime warranty to be transferable. The whole thing was smooth as it could be. We ordered it, they said it’ll be here in such a time, then they were here exactly that time. It took them a little bit longer because my husband changed their plan a bit but they were flexible.

Independent Home has the biggest tub so I called them up and I purchased a walk-in tub. The experience was very pleasant. As a matter of fact, I have the salesman come by again to put in a walk-in shower for me.

Independent Home initially gave me an astronomically high price to redo my bathroom which would have included the tub and I just ended up buying the step-in tub because of the installer. I really liked him that I wanted him to install any tub regardless of which company I got it from. He was just down to earth and honest. We are super happy with Independent Homes' walk in tub. I’m 80 and my wife’s 75. We saw an ad about it and we knew we would enjoy the spa part of it. In addition, our regular tub has a lever that goes down and locks it and it's becoming very difficult for my wife getting in and out of it. We got a walk-in tub from Independent Homes and their installers were first class. I was concerned about the installation process, but they were so careful with everything, knew exactly what they were doing and everything was smooth. They were as polite as they can be and very professional.

A really nice man from Independent Home came to the house and explained the tub to me, how it worked and how quickly the tub could be set up for me. It was real quick too. It wasn’t more than two weeks and the tub was in. For the installation, there was a young man but the one that was in charge had a drinking problem. I recognized it as soon as he came in. I could smell it and I hated the smell on him. He was constantly going out and he would stay there for five minutes then coming back in. I could tell that he'd had a drink. But he was nice. I’ve got a little dog and he played with the little dog. I knew that the man was harmless. I was pleased with my tub and the installation. Independent Home is nice as can be.

It was easy to purchase the tub from Independent Home. They set up a financing plan for us because we told them that we could not do it any other way. Two young women came and installed the tub. They were very good, very efficient, very professional and very pleasant. My husband has fallen a number of times getting in and out of the shower so the tub is safer. And the health benefits, the massaging is very good. My husband feels better since he used the tub. I would recommend Independent Home.

My wife was having difficulty stepping out over our bathtub. We then bought a walk-in tub from Independent Home. Our rep was thorough and we were satisfied with his input. He explained everything and told us what to expect. However, the installation was a little noisy, but I expected that. The installers also left the place like they found it. The tub is more expensive than we expected, but, in any case, it is okay. My wife is enjoying it and it is easier for her to get in and out of it.

I ended up with a step-in and it was nice. The installation team did a good job too but I'm concerned on the surround that they put around the tub. I was given the impression there was gonna be fiberglass or tile and it wasn't either one. It was just a piece of painted board.

The Independent Home rep came into my home and we talked. I’ve never had anybody else come in nor have I even ever looked into one before but I wanted to do something different to my bathroom and I just went along and decided to go for it. I have to get used to it though. The amount of room in it for showering seems smaller. However, it seems nice when you get in there and have the jets going. I hope that I am really happy with it in the future because I didn’t know whether to put that in or just a regular tub. On the other hand I have lower back and hip problems so I thought it might be very good for that.

I've been thinking about getting a walk-in bathtub because my wife can't get around very well. Independent Home called me, came by, and I decided to get one from them. The tub is good quality and I like it. Also, their sales reps and installer were very good.

A representative from Independent Home called me and said they’d like to come and give me an estimate. He came to my house and looked at the area over and told me what they could do. He was very good, very nice and I like him. The installation team was a man and his son and they were very nice people too. They did a good, clean job. They also explained it all to me very well. The walk-in tub is fine and I love it, but the installer was supposed to put a cabinet in the bathroom so that it would all match out. I felt like the guy lied when he said he’d ordered that other part but they never came. I held it out and didn’t pay for it.

My husband is disabled and I wanted something for him to use. Lowe's had some sheets about walk-in bathtubs and I took one home because they didn't have what I wanted there. I also considered the Standard brand but they added on a couple of thousand dollars and wouldn't give me the brass finish that I wanted. Then, Independent Home's rep said they could do it so I went with them. They also installed some shelves in the tub and I didn't need as many as they put in but it was fine that I have them. They put in the collapsible seat, too, plus they gave me really nice doors. Then I wanted all of that in a kind of brassy black color and they did it all. They edged it in a wood kind of edging, too, and it's really nice.

My husband saw Independent Home online and got a walk-in tub as we were sort of being proactive. We are getting older and we thought it would be a good thing to have. And for the hydrotherapy and aqua therapy, it is good for arthritis. We had Ed whom we consulted before we got the tub installed and he was wonderful and friendly. He was also very informative and he got us a good deal on it. He told us that if I get a prescription from the doctor, I don’t have to pay the sales tax because it would be a medical device. I have the prescription here, but I don’t really know what to do with it. I thought Ed was gonna come back to check on it. I’m just holding the prescription in the folder in case he needs it.

Independent Home's sales rep was great and gave me all the information I wanted. I was surprised with the price but that went with the territory. Their installation team had the tub in in one day and we had to wait a day because of the caulking to dry. Other than that, they were outstanding and I liked them. But the guy in Arizona and the salesman himself never called me back to check if the installation went okay. I was operation manager my whole career for mainframe computers and I've never done business that way. Also, I had a little trouble with the heater but it got fixed. So, right now, I'm doing real good and I'm happy with the tub. It takes about 35 gallons to fill the tub up and I wish it's a little bit faster. But it's because I'm a little impatient myself.

Several years ago, Safe Step came by here and had a big truck that contained one of these walk-in tubs. I thought it was a fine thing then but I could not get it at the time. One day, I called and asked the price of several tubs but they seemed a little high to me. Then one day, a man from Independent Home knocked on the door and said he was sent by the walk-in tubs. He came in and gave me such a lovely breakdown talk about what this was like and what it had.

We had a phone call about walk-in bathtubs from the people that make it. Also, I had been looking at pictures of tubs and thinking about it. After the lady’s presentation, I told her I was ready to talk to her representative. So, Independent Home sent a nice young fellow here to talk to us about walk-in tubs. The rep and I had a great interaction! He did a follow-up after we installed the tub and he stayed here a couple of hours. We talked about all kinds of stuff and seemed like one of the family before he left. The tub I got has a 30 L air vent and a compressor. I fill it up with hot water and if I want a massage or hydrotherapy treatment, I push a little button on the side and the motor starts blowing air through everywhere. I really enjoy getting in the tub and it's like getting a massage all over.

I liked the way the guy from Independent Home talked and they were less expensive than all of the others. I got the model that’s cream color and it has the air brush, the waves, and a shower. It's a small one and it fits right in where my tub was. The salesperson came out to the house and our communication was very good. He explained everything wonderfully and he was very courteous. They came out about 10:00 and they were gone by 12:00 with everything. They did a beautiful job and my bathroom looked all new.

The walk-in tubs of Independent Home have been advertised all over TV and we knew about them, but their reps called us when they were doing a survey of all the tubs. The installation of the tub we got from Independent Home was very good. The installers came and cleaned, and the the tub was good when they were done. My wife likes the tub. The only thing we didn’t like was that it was misrepresented a little bit because the reps who called us told us that the 40-gallon water heater would be plenty, but it wasn’t anywhere near that. Probably they don’t say that because if you knew you were gonna have to spend a lot more money putting a water heater in, then you probably wouldn’t buy the tub. We needed a bigger water heater and we ended up putting a direct, on-demand water heater in.

My wife and I couldn't get into our old bathtub so we both needed something that has a small step. I liked the one Independent Home has so that was the one we got. The guys who came out to install the unit were very nice and polite. The one that they originally brought to install had a dent in it so they got a new one that didn't have a dent. Everything went together so well. I really enjoy the bathtub. I don't have to be a like a monkey and climb up over the top of the old one. Also, my wife is blind so I have to show her and help her in just so she gets to use the thing and so far it's been really wonderful. Independent Home was great.

We talked to Independent Home reps and we liked them. I also like the tub that we purchased. It's really nice but the flooring is really slick. On the other hand, the installation team was good. We couldn't ask for any better. We got the tub painted off but we haven't had anybody call us to say thank you or a note to say, "We appreciated your business.". Nonetheless, we have recommended them. Everything was good. They were really friendly and if they made a little mess, they cleaned it up and we appreciate it.

My grandson found Independent Home after looking it up, and they are cheaper. Their people who we dealt with were fine. I like the tub, and it's easy to get in and out. But I don't use the air in the back because it comes out cold.

I had to have some remodeling done at my home due to water accident that flooded my home and I had thought about a walk-in tub in the next three years. But since I had to have that remodeling done, I decided to deal with it at that time, instead of some time down the road. I got Independent Home's biggest model. It has the shower connection with it, air jet, and aromatherapy. It best fitted in my need.

They got the installation done in a fast time. I enjoyed talking to them as well. They did a good job. Everything was cleaned up and it looked very nice when they left.

I have trouble with walking. I had a jacuzzi tub, which I loved and I'm having problems getting out so I thought Independent Home would be good. I had heard people say that they were all right but I'm really disappointed in it. I like to lay down in a tub but I can't lay down in this one. I'm really unhappy with it. The salesperson was nice. But my mistake was I didn’t ask him any questions because I didn’t know anything about the product and I wasn’t familiar with it. The installation team was also nice. They put it in, although it was late at night so they couldn't cut it down and couldn't do anything. I would tell my friends that Independent Home is alright but I wouldn’t recommend the tub. I would tell them to come and use mine and see what they would think about it before they order it.

Independent Home called me on the telephone and seeing that it was an independent company, I thought it would be good and close-knit, compared to other retailers. I chose the model with the lowest price and the installation went real well. But they cracked my door going in with the tub. They had to take out the whole frame for the door and then it left my door frame damaged. Then they just left.

We've been looking at various advertisements and searching for tubs for quite a while. We also had looked at Independent Home a couple of years ago. After we contacted them, someone came and talked to us to give us a sales pitch. We liked the presentation and most of our questions were answered. We looked at the various options that were available and decided to buy their basic tub as it met our needs. Then once we were turned over to the installer, we didn't hear anymore from Independent Home which was interesting. It would be nice for them to get back to their customer, though.

We got a phone call from Independent Home asking if we were interested in getting a walk-in bath tub and we were kind of at that time. The price was also right and my wife really had a need for that so we went for it. When they delivered it, the first one that they brought was too big for our spot so they made a special one to fit our need. We’re very satisfied with our experience but I don’t believe there are many handles as I would like to see in there for my wife.

My husband is ill and I decided to get a walk-in bath tub. I researched and Independent Home's product was the most reasonable I felt for what I wanted. I got the one with the jets which the installation team, Joel and his son, put in. They were wonderful. But after I got my shower up and got the curtain on it, the screws they screwed it together with were silver looking while everything else was white. So I purchased a paint pan and I dotted them white. It has a whole, rich look to it and it changed everything. I also need to call Joel because when I pull off the shower head, it’s stuck and doesn’t pull all the way up. I need to read my booklet, too, because I haven’t done that and I need to see if there’s some way I could open the side up there and see how it’s stuck.

I went to search on Google and it happened to come up with American Standard and other companies, one of which was Independent Home. I reached out to them, left a message, and they called me back. When I talked to them on the phone, they were wonderful and I ended up buying the tub some time in December. But it hasn't been hooked up yet. I had a family thing to go to in South Carolina then the plumber I was using and his family got a flu, so I didn’t want him here because I didn’t want to get infected. So, those were the kinds of things that had been getting in my way. I also need to buy a part and I tried calling Independent Home but their 800 number doesn't work.

We’ve been talking about getting a walk-in bath tub for a couple of years. Then we saw Independent Home in the magazine and it sounded good, so we called them and they called us back. We ended up getting the top of the model. We’re getting older and it’s easier to get in and out of. We don’t have to stand up in the shower to slip and fall. It’s also easy to work with and it fills up and empties fast. Plus, the air jets make it so much more soothing inside the tub. When it was installed, the reps who came out were fantastic. They introduced themselves and explained to us what they were going to do. Then they put down covers so they wouldn’t mess up our carpet in order to get to the bathroom it was going into. They went over with my husband exactly where they were going to set it, how they were going to build the wall, and asked if that was okay with him. We couldn’t ask for better workers. We’d recommend Independent Home.

When I fell in the regular bathtub, we started looking up information on Independent Home as we wanted a walk-in tub. We already looked one up there in Lima, Ohio, and we liked what we saw and just bought it. The people at the dealership were nice, and we liked what they told us. Purchasing was pretty quick, and they did a good job with the installation, too. Those two guys were really nice. We are really satisfied. I would recommend them.

Independent Home's sales rep came in the house and did business with us. I liked the way he talked and the way everything added up, so I was ready and I went with them. The bathtub I got was just a straight walk-in model. What the sales rep discussed was exactly the way it went down whenever they came out to put it in. Their installers were the best bunch of guys I have ever worked with, and I worked with a lot of people in my lifetime. They were courteous, they cleaned up after their mess, they did not leave one thing undone, they loaded all the trash up and hauled it off.

Independent Home is predominantly made in the United States. I didn't have to worry about some other country when having problems like parts having to be bought. They'd have to go out and send out parts and stuff like that. I thought I can be bamboozled just like anyone else. But the salesperson was honest and he didn't have the typical sales pitch and try to force us into something that we didn't think about and didn't want.

Independent Home was giving good discounts if you are a veteran and they gave me an absolute lower price than anybody else in the market plus a lifetime warranty which was important. I took a chance since there wasn’t much of a difference in any of the companies that I spoke with on the quality of the product and I had no way of finding out through talking to other people who had had those tubs installed regardless of who installed them. The features are pretty much following a standard in the industry. I had about six manufacturers and they had people come into my home. There was not much difference in any of them and so, people should do as much homework as they can if there was an Independent source out there.

Because my father who lives with us has trouble getting in and out of the tub, and I have medical issues where I was having a difficulty getting out of the tub, we got a sit-down tub from them. Purchasing the tub was a very good experience as they gave us a lot of information and let us make up our minds without pressuring us. They were pleasant and very easy to talk to as well. Also, the financing was easy to figure out. We could go ahead, take care of the financing, and get it set up easily. Then the installers who came were very good, professional and very knowledgeable about everything. They were also organized and did a really good job. The tub looks nice and my husband and I enjoy using it. We've talked to a couple of people about the tub and everybody who have seen it likes the way it looks.

I called Independent Home and a salesman came by the house. I got the walk-in tub and the installation took about eight hours. A man and his wife did the installation and I had an excellent experience with them. So far, I'm satisfied with it.

My walk-in tub from Independent Home fits in where my other tub did. It has a low threshold and a small door to get in but I sit down and use it. I decided to get a walk-in tub from them due to the price, which was right. The dealer was helpful and the installation went well. It was loud and noisy, but they did it rather quickly. They came in one afternoon and then the next afternoon, they were through. Also, the quality of the tub is good. I had to do the reset with the pump and everything once, but it has worked okay.

During my purchase, the reps came and they told me all about the tub. I decided I wanted it and within a week, the dealer sent somebody to put it in for me. The installation team was really friendly. They kept busy and went about their business. It took longer than two hours for them to put the tub in because I live in the trailer. You have problems when you have to put one in the trailer, but they went ahead with it. I really like the quality of the tub and I like the jets and the fragrance thing that's on the side. I told my friends about my walk-in tub and they liked it.

However, they couldn’t get a pool-sized tub around the corner so they had to come back with a tub about 6 inches smaller. The installers were very professional and did a wonderful job. They came in the morning and by 5:00, they were finished. It was all done in one day including the water heater. My tub looks beautiful. They left it clean and nice. It was next to the toilet and I would sit and go in it to clean up. It was perfect. I use it mostly for the shower. The tub uses a lot of water so I use it once a week. I’ve had it for a couple of months and so far, I’m very satisfied with my experience.

Independent Home was the first who came out here and gave me a halfway decent price. The gentleman that we spoke with was very polite. I got good vibes from them and our need was there so we did it with them. The young man who came and put it in was very nice and helpful. He had a helper. I'm very happy with all of it and I enjoy it.

We were shown a couple of models by Independent Home and the walk-in bathtub that we got was more suitable for our needs. One individual told me that before we buy it from Independent, I needed a bigger water heater. Independent thought my water heater was big enough and I found out it's not. Once I fill the tub up, I have to wait until the next day or later before we run into more hot water because it takes the whole tank to fill it up and we were not aware of that. But the sales experience was good and the price was the main thing we went to Independent Home. The installers were great too.

I thought it would be easier to bathe in a walk-in bathtub. A dealer for Independent Home explained everything to me but he only did it once and I had to try to remember everything. He left the paper to read though. But I have to get a much bigger water heater because the little 30-gallon water heater just covers the ankles. I was also told that I needed a 40-gallon instead of the 30-gallon water tank.

The salesman, Gary, was a good guy. He was very informative and very well spoken. He was giving facts to the questions that we had. We felt totally relaxed when we did the purchase. When we asked the time frame and what demolition will be involved, Gary was very thorough with his presentation.

We're really pleased with Independent Home and we really like our 28 x 48 white Life Tub. And it's got the spray on it. We don't have the shower on it because we have a shower. The person who sold the tub to us was really good and thorough. He also pointed out things. The installation team that came and did everything was excellent. Luckily too, I had a toilet and a sink that needed to be put in and they put it in for me at no charge. I really enjoy the tub. In fact, I'm sending a picture of the tub to a neighbor of mine to have him contact Independent Home.

The model that we chose was the smallest one that they had and it fit the place that it belonged.

The installers did a perfect job and everything looks great. Moreover, they were very courteous and as nice as they could be. We are satisfied customers. We're pleased with Independent Home and it's a good choice.

I had to crawl out of my jacuzzi. I then started looking into walk-in bathtubs. I liked Independent Home’s salesman and his presentation, as well as their pricing. The salesman showed us a video, and he quoted me the price on one of the many different models. And then, I also had another company, Safe Step, and that guy made a presentation and gave me a price too. I told Independent Home’s salesman that I would call him and let him know by Thursday if we've made up our mind. And when I called him, I asked what he quoted me on my model, Select. I told him we were trying to make up our mind about which tub to get, and he gave me another price that was lower than the price that he had written down for me.

I have two baths in the house, but they have regular bathtubs where I have to step over. I’m 82 years old and I was afraid I was going to fall down. I got a big tub from Independent Home. I open the door, walk in there then take a bath. It’s nice and it works well. The installers gave me a lot of stuff but I haven’t started using the tub because somebody was supposed to come in and inspect something, and I wasn’t here. And they haven’t called back yet. Other than that, the tub seems like a good quality. Give it a try.

So he said, "Let me come over and talk to you."

I had three different tub brands come and give estimates, and Independent Home was the best deal. I’m a big fellow and I got the biggest tub model. When I purchased the tub, everything about the experience was fine. All the representatives that came were professional. The rep who sold it to me was able to give me a better deal on all things considered and that was the biggest selling point. He had a good personality and that alone was great. The installation team was great as well. They came although they started a bit late picking up some stuff and they had a little trouble. They took a little more time than I thought it would, but they were out of here by about 6 PM. They filled up the tub and demonstrated how the bubble technology works.
