The workman, Jay, was amazing with his professional attitude and creative skill that were required to successfully install our hydrotherapy spa system in a small bath area. The crew arrived to install our tub. Shasta and Sandra arrived and, in a very organized manner removed the old tub and proceeded to prepare the area for the installation of the new walk in tub. Shasta and Sandra were very professional in explaining what they were planning to do and then doing what they said they would do. We slightly altered plans with the installation of a set of drawers in the dead space beside the tub. Shasta and Sandra adapted to the challenge and did an excellent job installing our new tub. It is beautiful.

The installers Johnny and John ** were very nice and clean. They really went out of their way to make sure we were happy. They did a very honest and reliable job. The whole Independent Home team was terrific. Would recommend to anyone.

Mr ** and his son were very professional. Very in depth on how to work the spa. They were very friendly and took care of my house while they were there. I am so excited to try out my new spa. I would recommend this company to any and everyone.

Installer was wonderful. Very polite and making sure we knew what was going on during the install. Explained things thoroughly. The tub will be a pleasure to learn to use. The tub seems to be very good quality and appearance. Everyone we dealt with seemed very concerned that we understood how the tub worked and how to take care of it.

We decided to buy a walk-in tub after the rep from Independent Home came here and talked to us. The installation went great. The people who came out were good although they had to come back the next day. It wasn't just the tub, they had to get a door and install it.

We were having some senior citizen’s crisis and we needed some kind of water around to help out with our arthritis. We have a walk-in shower already and we wanted something where it’d be therapeutic and so forth. We purchased a walk-in tub from Independent Home and at the moment, we’re trying to figure out how to turn on our hot water heater, where we get all the water hot in the tub. But the installation and the tub itself have been great.

The installers Johnny and John Paul did a good job on the spa installation. They were very professional and courteous to me and my mother. They answered all my and mom's questions. The whole team at Independent Homes from the no pressure sales team to Nate to the installers were very professional and treated us courteous.

I've got a pocket door that slides in the wall in my Independent Home walk-in tub and about two days after the installers left, I went to open it and it wouldn’t open. Apparently, the installer took all the molding for two doors and one of them was that pocket door. So, I called the company and they said they would get in touch with me about it. The man I contacted was from Morrisville, North Carolina and he was a very nice guy. Then, a couple of weeks went by and I got a call from another guy out in Arizona. He wanted to know if somebody had taken care of my problem and when I asked him what was that problem, he said that he got the wrong customer. Apparently, another person with my last name also bought a walk-in tub. The guy who called me said that he knew who installed mine and that he'd pass my concern along to him. He said he’d be in touch with me and it was no big deal. But I never have heard from the guy again.

The products are great and the installation was wonderful. The installers could not have done a better job. We are very satisfied and would recommend this walk in tub to anyone. I know that we will enjoy it many years. The sales person was well informed and professional. I highly recommend this product.

I called Independent Home and someone came by. I wasn’t really prepared to buy it that day, but he was a smooth talker and talked me right into it. The installation lasted all day. They had to take the door frame off and do all that to get in. They certainly did a good job of putting it all back together. They ran tub after tub of water, and finally, they got it like they wanted it. They’re nice young men. My experience with the walk-in tub has been pretty good. I don’t have enough hot water to last the whole time, though. And they never asked me about my hot water. I can only fill it up just a little bit above the seat for it to be hot. So, I’ve got to have another water heater just for the tub. But it’s fine. Independent Home needs to talk to you about the hot water heater. I talked to three people who had gotten tubs, and they all had to get either a bigger water heater, or a water heater just for the tub.

We had called Independent Home to get someone to call us back because there was an inquiry that we had. At the time we purchased the unit, we thought it came with a shower accessory. We weren’t really showed a picture. We were just informed about the walk-in tub and just took it for granted that it would have the shower. We have them called back. They said someone would call us back so we could inquire about it. Otherwise, we haven’t had anything to malfunction. The walk-in bath all works like it was described and installed to do. My husband's favorite are the jets, because I do the shower.

The installers Johnny and John ** did me a good job. The spa looks good. Cant wait to use it. My husband has trouble getting in our old tub and shower. So we got this tub so it would be easier on him. Thank you Independent Home for doing us a good job all the way from sales to the install.

The sales rep from Independent Home was very good and the walk-in tub was installed the middle of last month. It went very well although the installer had to come back the next day because he did a hot water tank too, so he had to go get one and install that. Then, he took the old bathtub and stuff out. He was fast. We like the walk-in tub well especially the air jets.

We've had a very good experience with our walk-in tub so far. My wife and I had been talking about getting a walk-in tub. I went online and checked out walk-in tubs. Shortly after I was online, I got a call from Independent Home, wanting to make an appointment to come by and talk to me. So the representative came by and talked to us about the product then we decided to go ahead and buy it. The installation also went just as I wanted it to.

The Independent Home walk-in tub installation went well. It’s easy to get in and it feels safe. We just haven’t been using the jets because our hot water gets cold before it fills up. The guy told me he can get a booster put on it. So, we’re gonna try that. I will love it after we get the thing and start using the jets, which was why we wanted it.

My Independent Home walk-in tub has been fine, so far. We just don't have enough hot water. I get about half full and then run out of hot water. So, we needed to get a bigger hot water tank. Their sales rep was really polite and nice and their installation process was very good. They were a little late getting here but they were very professional and they did a lot quicker than I thought they could do it. They got it about four hours, so that went smoothly. I just had a little trouble with the water the other day. We were gonna take a bath and I couldn't get this water to stop draining. And so, I ended up taking a shower. But I think it's because I didn't pull the lever down. I just put the little plug thing in it. I think that's what I did wrong. I haven't tried anything since then.

I needed a walk-in tub because just stepping over the other bath tub was a little much for me. I went with Independent Home and so far, my experience using it has been wonderful. The installation was wonderful too. It was all done in a day and once it was installed, it was very nice. The installers were so professional, very nice and very courteous. Everything was cleaned up, so I appreciated them. So far, I'm enjoying the Independent Home walk-in tub.

I've been thinking about getting a tub and when Independent Home called, I said to come to the home and give me an estimate. And they did. The sales rep was very nice. I like the tub's wave and there are three positions to push. One is to get the bubbles. Then in the middle, it's to go slower or faster, and then the next one is the wave. I can't get that slower or faster to work.

I love our walk-in tub and I couldn't have asked for anybody to be any better or work any harder. They didn't just come in, throw it up and leave. They did a good job. The salespeople from Independent Home were wonderful. They were very sweet, kind and patient. They did excellent work. Then the installation was great as well. It took longer than I wanted it to because I wanted it instantly. But they caught everything. They put everything in well, cleaned up and left. Everything was better than it was when they came in and my favorite feature would be the countertop. The sink is made within the countertop and I don't ever have to worry again about it deteriorating.

Independent Home called me out of the blue and their rep was very cordial and nice. The installation went smoothly and the guys were neat. The walk-in tub has been very good but I’m a little bit big around the middle, and it’s hard to get in there and close the door. I wish it had been a little bit bigger.

My husband has wanted a walk-in bathtub for a long time. When we were in another state, he had a whirlpool, and he really loved it and has talked about it ever since. And so, we decided to go ahead with Independent Home. It was the lowest offer and we could handle the one that we got. We also like the rep that came. The installation process was very nice. The installers were efficient, fast, clean and neat. They were very good guys. They told us it would be done in a day, and it was not even half a day to get it in and working.

The Sales Manager, Ari, offered a good deal on an Independent Home new walk-in tub. It had all the features we were seeking such as: inward opening door, water jets, air jets and heated seat. The price was amenable and included life-time warranty on the tub, and installation as well as removal of the existing cast iron tub and its acrylic overlay. The price was all inclusive including labor and taxes. The Installer, Tony, was meticulous and very professional. He worked over ten hours each of the several days he was at the house including a Saturday and Sunday. We are very pleased with the tub and the installation.

I love the walk-in tub from Independent Home. I heard about it a while back. Then I got a letter in the mail and I answered the letter, and they came out and gave me an estimate. I said, go for it. The customer service was outstanding. He gave us a good spiel to tell us about it and what the feature was. I just enjoyed talking with him. And the people that installed it were very knowledgeable and willing to help us any way they could. It was a good experience all the way. There’s only one thing that I don’t like about it. After a period of time, the water doesn’t stay warm. It gets cold. But that’s the only thing I have against it. Other than that, my wife and I love it.

A lady from Independent Home called, and then the man came out and talked to us. Everything went well with the buying process and the installers took about a day and a half to come out and install the tub. We were fully satisfied with everything that they've done about it.

We had tub installed on Nov 8th, Ozzie and Joe came right on time. They were both very courteous and respectful. They did the job in a timely manner, and cleaned up after themselves. Everything was explained, on how to use the tub etc. The job was from 8am-3pm...They made sure to use care, when they were bringing in and installing the tub, to make sure not to damage anything. The salesman from Independent Home was very courteous also. We would recommend Independent Home and the great installers "Ozzie and Joe". They are very professional....

I want to thank the guys that came out to my home today and installed the walk in tub. They took out my shower and put in the walk in tub. Once they finished they took away all the trash. I was very satisfied. Thank again for a job well done.

I’m well-pleased with my Independent Home tub. I can get in it safely, and that’s what I wanted it for. The installation was done from 9:00 to 2:00, and the rep was real nice.

I really liked the salesman and their price. They were $1,000 cheaper. And I really, really like the tub. It works great. It's in a brand-new house, so I'm very pleased with it. I'm 73 years old and 6'4, and it's easier to get in and out of. The installers were very neat and they cleaned up after themselves.

I’d seen Independent Home advertised and I called them. They came out and I liked what they had to say. The installers took about a week, and they were great when they came in. When they left, it was clean as a whistle.

We had a paper with Independent Home's name, address and information on it, and we used that as a guide. The man who came to install it had his son with him and was teaching him how to do it too. They were very neat and tidy. They spent some of the afternoon with us and had it all ready to go by the time they left. And they took away a big old bathtub that was in the space where it is now. We mostly enjoy the fact that we’re not gonna struggle to get my husband back out of a normal bathtub, which we had done. It was an hour-long that we spent because it was slippery and he simply could not get himself back out of the normal bathtub that we had here. The new tub is ever so much better, and we’re enjoying it.

I like the quality of Independent Home's tubs. I like how they're made in the United States. I went with them and had a very good experience with their reps. In about a week, their installation team got the tub in place. They were very knowledgeable. Currently, my husband uses it and it confines him. So, I don't have to worry about him in the shower.

The installers had to postpone one time, but then they came in the next two days and installed it. I was impressed with the way they’ve dressed it off and made it look like it’d been there all the time. They did a good job. I like the tub because my wife can get in and out without falling. She was not able to get in the tub and sit down and then get out before, so this makes it easier for her.

The installation was good. As soon as the got there and was showed where it was going and where the plumbing was in the basement, the old tub shower was removed and the new tub went in. The new one is great. It is very relaxing.

We liked Independent Home's tub and its features, which made us go with them. The fellow we worked with was very informative and comfortable to talk to. Moreover, everything went well with the installation. It was about a three-week process because they make each tub individually. The timeline was good for us though. The installers were really helpful and seemed to be good fellows. They had to come all the way from North Carolina down to West of Atlanta, which was tough on them, but they were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. The tub doesn’t add to the look of the bathroom, but we bought it for the safety features. We are getting older and we have a person who's concerned about the safety in the shower. It has been a good thing for us. You could sit in there, relax and have a nice, comfortable bath.

The salesman from Independent Home seemed to be very honest but I found out later that he was not. I have a big window and under the window was the Whirlpool tub I had. I had to get a step-in for somebody who lives with me. It was higher than the window and it didn't look good. When you walk in the bathroom, all you see is that huge tub. I was told it would be lower and I even brought up the window jamb. The sales rep said that I didn’t have to worry about that. It'll be under the window. I was shown a smaller tub. The salesman went in and measured because I was afraid. I told them that I didn't want the tub going past the window or that it covers the window in any way and he said that it won’t. It will be longer and it'll just make it. He downright lied to me.

Francis, the rep from Independent Home, came out here and talked to me. He was nice and the installation went very good. The product made things easier for me.

The doctors put their word and two cents on Independent Home and decided on it. The tub has been installed and everything has been going great. I’ve used it once and it was heaven. I enjoyed the water jets. The installation experience was great, and the installers were very considerate and worked as fast as they could.

We were trying to get the first tub possible because my mom has mobile limited. We really didn’t know anything about Independent Home and I wasn't told about the amount it was gonna be. The rep didn’t break it all down to us. And by him just saying $10,000, I just went on and got it because my mom really needed that. The installers were very nice and very professional. They came at 8 o’clock and they left at 4:30. My mom is much better now. She doesn’t have aches and pains and the tub helps her with that because she suffered with so many muscle spasms. She felt like she was energized once she got out of the tub. It was just that I was supposed to have gotten an $800 free shower with the tub, and I paid 10,000 for it, but I didn’t get that extra shower.

The salesman from Independent Home showed us how the product worked and what it was. And I said we wanted it. He spent the whole afternoon with us. I couldn’t say no after that. But I didn’t get a receipt and I need it ‘cause I’m gonna put it on my long-term care medical insurance. I wrote two checks. I could get copies of those, but I thought if they all had a receipt on the computer they might go send it to me. The installation went great. They just took probably a-day-and-a-half. It's going really good with Independent Home. Beth likes and is enjoying the product. I asked her this morning if she’s using the jets. And she said no, she forgot how to turn them on. So she was just taking a bath. But that was good.

The man told us that in all other companies, the parts are made in other countries and shipped here and put together. Independent Home claimed that they’re made in the United States, which did it for us because we’re so tired of everything coming from China and it’s not made well. I wanted the best since I’ve had my knee replaced. I can’t get in or out of a tub. Sometimes, I just take a bath, sometimes I take a shower, and sometimes I put the whole thing on. So, I love it all.

I checked out some companies on my own, and I found out some of the lies they were telling. But I didn’t quite feel that way with Independent Home. They were honest and the rep was pretty knowledgeable. We had to switch tubs, and once we got the tub, Independent Home did the installation. They came in the afternoon, and then they finished it up the next morning. The tub is helping with my pain and my personal hygiene.

Independent Home was the only one that I talked to. I like that I can get in and sit down on the tub, and I like the jets. The sales representative and the installer were very good. It was just that the installation took a little time because when the guy took one of the tubs out of the truck, it was cracked, so he had to start all over.

I had a phone call and I talked to the lady from Independent Home, and she came out here and sold me on it. I'm glad for it. I like it. When the gentleman installed the tub, he did a great job. On the last day he was here, he wanted to get it done and he worked late, which was fine with me. He got it done. I'm pleased with it. I've used Independent Home three times already. I got no complaints except one leak. It was no big thing. It's not gonna take much to fix it. The leak is coming in down along the rail, before the door slide back and forth. I already called Independent Home and I've got a man coming up this afternoon. He's gonna try to repair it for me. Other than that, I like that I can step into the tub, instead of having to climb over a tub. I've had a stroke and this is something I need.

Independent Home was very good. The installers were got here about 10:00 and they left a little after 4. I get in and out of the tub real easy and not have to worry about falling. It seems to be going all right.

Installer called to let us know ETA; got right to work after surveying the "Lay of the land". It took almost 3 days to get our unit installed. There were a few surprises along the way with construction. End product looks very good. We are enjoying both the tub-spa feature and the shower feature.

I found out about Independent Home through my son-in-law and because of my age and health, I got a specific model of the tub from them. The interaction with the dealer was very good and they were very nice young men. I like sitting in the tub and relaxing. It’s the best investment I’ve ever made.

We haven't been able to have a bath for 14 years because we had a garden tub. I was afraid to get into it because I'm handicapped right now. I got a call one day from an Independent Home representative and he asked if we had ever been interested in having a walk-in tub. I told him that we were, but they were expensive and we couldn't afford one. He came out a couple of days later and he told us all the pros and cons. We felt like he was an honest person and we were very pleased with him. The installation was a really good experience. The guys were nice and were real gentlemen. They worked hard and were on their feet for 12 hours 'cause it was a difficult cut. Having the walk-in tub worked out really good. My husband enjoys it more than I do.

I had gone with Independent Home for their price and so far, my experience with them has been fine. The guy that I talked to showed me three different sizes and explained the options well. I got the 33-inch model. Its overall quality is good. It has the jets and a bubble motion, which I mostly use. It feels better when it’s on the bubbles.

The Independent Home tub was cheaper and it had everything I wanted in it for that price. I liked the salesman and the way he pointed everything out to me, and guaranteed that we would be satisfied with it before they left, and we were. The installation was wonderful. I was really apprehensive when I saw how young the installers were, but they made me get in the tub before they ever installed it and I had to okay everything they did. They also told me that if I had any problems or doubts, to just call them. I like getting in the bathtub instead of a shower. I would recommend Independent Home to anybody.

We got good service from the Independent Home dealer. All options were explained very well. The installation team did a good job and they were very professional. We just had to do a bit of clean up when they finished, but it was okay. The tub has the hydrotherapy and the whirlpool, and it is of excellent quality. I would highly recommend Independent Home.

I've dealt with Independent Home's equipment and it was a little higher quality than the others, which made me go with them. The rep I spoke with was very nice and did a pretty good job of explaining my options to me. The installers did a very nice job. That kind of work was going to make a bit of a mess, but they were very good at cleaning everything up and keeping the house as clean as possible. The model I got had the features that I wanted. And I like the massage features very well, but it's very hard to take a regular bath. My recommendation for anybody getting Independent Home is that you need two restrooms in your house so that you can have one regular tub for taking a regular bath and then the other one for the massage stuff.

Someone came to my door and was nice as he explained my options with Independent Home. I liked that the walk-in tub fit the space that we have. The installation was nice and the people did a good job, especially getting the old part out and rebuilding the floor under there. It was a sunken tub that they took out so they had to put a little floor in. But the thing about it is where the floor joins the carpet because it's all in the bedroom. The vacuum has torn all the carpet that was there and caused the carpet to fray and shred. Maybe we would need a plastic strip or a metal strip to put that along between the hard floor and the carpet to keep it from coming up.

My husband and I LOVE our new walk in tub. It is HUGE! Just what we wanted. The installers did a great job. They installed new flooring and a hot water tank for us. I am really glad we went with Independent Home.

The installers Dean and Alex were persistent in sharing the steps they would take as they installed the tub and all of its parts to ensure that it worked. They were careful to make sure I understood and also to take care not to harm my house environment. My lesson on how to use was demonstrated very well with questions answered as well. It was a delight to meet Dean and Alex. They were an excellent duo. They are very knowledgeable and confident about their job. I am pleased... very pleased with my tub and with the installers.

I had the perception that Independent Home had equivalent quality and significantly lower price compared to other companies. I had a positive experience with their dealer. The tub I bought had more than I needed but it was the right combination for the price the rep offered. The installation team was of good quality and they very well cleaned up after themselves . However, I'm redoing the bathroom so they weren't taking it back to a pristine state. They were taking it to an in-between state. Independent Home forgot to send the side panel along with the tub and now, I have the side panel, but it's still not installed. I called Independent Home before I left on a trip, but they didn't arrive. We had not touched base since so I have a feeling I fell off their radar screens. Nonetheless, I've been thoroughly enjoying the tub so far. I'd recommend Independent Home.

I had a hard time trying to get in and out of a regular tub. I have a sciatic nerve that goes down my leg. I was afraid of falling and not being able to get out and get help. When the Independent Home salesman was in the area, he stopped by and explained the tub to me. I then decided to get it. I really love that it's low and I can just walk in and out. The installation went really well. It took the installers all day to do, but they did a good job. They also told me that if anything went bad, to give their company a call or to call them directly and they could get a hold of the company.

Everybody was really nice when we were buying the tub and the installation was fine. We both have a hard time getting in and out of the tub, but we can make it. My momma can get in and take a shower now. In fact, she took a shower and washed her hair yesterday. I just wish they could make the tub lower when they make more in the near future. Nonetheless, we like it.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience when Independent Home reps showed up. I liked their knowledge. After the purchase of their walk-in tub, the installation went smoothly. The installers knew what they were doing and they had it in in less than five hours. But we wanted the door to come out instead of go in. We didn’t realize that after they had installed the walk-in tub. Due to that, my husband can't use it but I do. I like everything about the tub. It has the air bubbles, the water vent, and the shower.

We used them and had a very good experience with everybody connected to the business. Our options were explained well enough. We also liked that the walk-in tub fits perfectly in our shower area. The installers did the very best job. It looks like the walk-in tub was originally built into the house. They even had to move a wall. I have someone very elderly here and the walk-in tub gives him a wonderful place to sit and have a shower without being on a little shower stool. It works very well. It’s easy for me to help him with whatever he needs. It’s a very big improvement. It's been a very nice experience.

Independent Home has a pretty good tub and I chose a specific model for its jet thera and quick drain features. I had a real good purchasing experience. The installation took almost a whole day and the installer did a real good job with it as well as cleaning up after. I like the tub's quality real good.

We were looking for Walk in tub for my grandmother who is 100 years young and we have had Safe Step in the past. She has never been thrilled with it. Safe Step also took too long to install and too long to fill up and drain. My grandmother would freeze waiting for it to fill and drain. We stumbled on this company Independent Home. So glad we did. They have been more than super awesome. They are kind, efficient, patient and hardworking. They installed my grandmother's walk-in tub in a day less than 6 hours. No shortcuts either. They were very professional, polite, clean and no mess left behind.

I saw a number on TV for Independent Home and called them. The interaction with the sales rep was wonderful. I got the walk-in tub with the door that swings inside. The guy came in, told me what was gonna happen and I wrote him a check. They did the work and everything worked out fine. The installers showed me how it work. I had a pretty good idea because I was looking through the paperwork as they were putting it in and I knew what buttons did what. He showed me that and a couple of days later, I got in it myself and I enjoyed the hell out of it. I just kicked back and let that bogey go. I especially like the shower. In the tub, I'm afraid to stand up, afraid of falling down but with this, I got the handle bars to hang on to and it's better. Also, my favorite feature is the in-line heater. The circulation of the water keeps the warm temperature.

The possibility of my mother having to move in with us made me interested in getting a walk-in tub. She’s 78 years old, and she has a hard time getting in and out of the tub. When I spent most of the last winter with her in Indiana, she was complaining to me that one of her biggest issues at her own home was the fact that she had a hard time taking a bath. We also liked the tub and decided to go with it. We had a little problem with the installation though. We were under the impression that there’d be more than one guy who'd come in to install the tub. Plus, there was a problem with it. But the guy was some worker and he did a good job. The installation just took him longer than he was expecting it to take him because of the problem with the little thing that works the stuff on the tub and he had to replace it.

We saw the need for a walk-in tub so we went ahead and got it. Independent Home's presentation was excellent, the installers were very nice and friendly, and the work was really good. I use a regular tub and I’m not well. Now I don’t have to step over the tub and then wonder if I’m gonna be able to get up after I sit down because it really takes a lot outta me to sit down in that tub and then have to strain to get out. The tub was not cheap, and I had thought later that maybe we should have checked around to see if there was a better price, but I'm very satisfied with the tub.

This company targets senior citizens that are unable to make rational decisions. I found a salesman in my grandmother's house trying to sell her a 10,000 dollar bathroom renovation. An ADA bathroom does not require marble onyx. You can easily find someone to do this at a more affordable price. Please red flag this company.

The installers arrived on time. They were very professional and very clean. They took care of all my possessions and belongings. I think they did a wonderful job. I am very proud of the work and craftsmanship done. They did good.

My wife is handicapped and her back was broken two times. The shower we had where we moved in was too small and you couldn't even bend down. Our sales rep from Independent Home was good. When he came in, he did measurements. We got the lowest model. We didn't get any of the sprays. We just got the one that just has a showerhead and everything else. That’s what we could afford right now. The sales rep said if there’s a problem, they’ll come in and that the installation would only take a couple of hours. He was right. The installers finished it and did a good job.

The Independent Home team did well during the installation of my walk-in tub. I also had an Independent Home walk-in tub in my other house and I really enjoyed it. However, the last time I got in my current tub, I couldn't get the jets to come on. Then, I couldn't get it to go into the wave. And when I tried to get out and turn it off, I couldn't get it to turn off. I thought I was gonna have to crawl out. Finally, I just kept poking until it finally went off. It has been a couple of weeks and I haven't been in it since. I called the installer the other night and told him my problem, but I've not heard from him since. I wouldn't recommend Independent Home.

The salesman already told me the same thing, but he went through all the features of the tub with me. So far, the tub is really soothing when you take a bath. My wife and I enjoy it.

I know walk-in tubs have been out there. I started getting online and I wasn't happy with the original thing. You find out what one costs and no one will tell you, but it's so expensive. I kept researching and I started coming up with the name Independent Home. They were the only one that put on a demonstration, came in and actually had a real sales call. They told us about the top of the line model. The single tub was the only difference and they had multiple person tubs too. We got one that had all the jets, air and ducts. It also had the internal heater that keeps the water 120 degrees and it has the wave, which was their newest model that came out.

I liked the price of Independent Home's walk-in tubs and when I bought one, their sales rep was very nice. And when the guys came in to install it, they did it perfectly and they could not have gotten a better set of guys to work on it. They were wonderful and I recommend them for anything to anybody. Now that I have the tub, I like that I can sit in warm water.

I had a big tub, and I got to where I couldn't get out of it. I had a shower separate from the tub, and I tried using it for a while, but I was so scared I was gonna fall again. It made me a nervous wreck. I don’t like showers. So I got a walk-in tub from Independent Home and the salesman was very nice and helpful. He was real friendly. I told him about some of the other companies that I had talked to and what they offered, and he said he could do that. The installers were so careful about everything. They had to take the thing apart to get it in there because they couldn't get it in. You had to go in one door and kinda bend to the right to get in the next one. They had to take off the door facings, and sand on the wall a little. But they got it all back together and it looked just like it did before. I like the fact that I can sit in the tub on that seat thing. I put in water up far enough on my legs. My legs are so weak and I stumble around all the time, and that helps them.

Somebody called me on the phone and said the Independent Home representative wanted to come and talk. I said that I was not interested, but if he wanted to come, I'd listen because I didn't have a lot to do. He talked for two hours and I was convinced that the hot tub was something I got to have, and I'm glad I've got it. Purchasing the tub was very easy and the installers were really good. I was told that it was gonna take three days to put it in, but it only took one day. The tub works fine and I thoroughly enjoy being in it. I was in it last night and thought that I was told that in order to do any good, you have to be in it for 15 minutes. I really stay for about 45 minutes.

For quite a while, I have been going to get a walk-in tub, but I wanted to see it before I bought it. I wasn’t gonna spend that much money on something and not see it, so the guy, Nat, took one out of the box in West Des Moines and let me see it. I then decided to get it. He was very nice and Independent Home was very good and professional. I was having a problem with my neck and I had to go to the doctor a couple of times. The installer was very caring and kept asking me if there was anything he could do. They did a good job and I’m very satisfied. I love my tub.

My wife had an accident and we were gonna do a Thermospa that I saw on TV. I talked with my older brother who has polio and has never been able to walk. He's up-to-date on what does and doesn't work. He told me that if we get a spa in our back patio, we'll never get to where we can use it because of the weather. Plus, there are the chemicals and getting her in and out of it. It wasn't a luxury item though, it was medically necessary with the circulation because of my wife's diabetes and her back injury. My brother suggested to get a tub. I looked at Pat Boone with Safe Step. I also got looking online and Independent Home kept popping. They were at the top of ConsumerAffairs and the voters rate it highly.

My wife was not able to get in and out of our tub. She had to have something with a door on it where she could walk in. Someone called from Independent Home. We had a representative come out and explain everything to us before we purchased their walk-in tub. The installation went fairly well other than the fact that the installers seemed a little bit slow and took too much time doing it. They were supposed to be in here at 10 o'clock on a Friday, but they were late. They got started at about 4 o'clock that afternoon and they didn't finish the installation until Sunday afternoon. They did a good job though. But I don't know if Independent Home checks out if the people do the tub work or not. Also, the installer tried to glue a magnet in to hold the door panel but didn't stay on there.

I received a phone call from some reps and they asked if they could come and talk about walk-in tubs. I agreed and since Independent Home's product is a commercial grade and guaranteed for life, I decided to buy from them. They sounded like a good place, too. The dealer I dealt was good though I wish we got the shower instead of the tub. He told me more about the tub and we thought the tub would be great because we both need to sit down and just rest. But the fact is, we don't. We didn't ask about the shower and it was totally our fault. Aside from that, I would like to have a guide. I haven't gotten one and I need something to tell me what the tub does. Other than that, the installers were great and they worked hard. I'd recommend Independent Home.

I liked Independent Home's pricing and their product looked a little bit better than others. Their sales team was great as well and my installation experience was fantastic. It was a good experience overall and Independent Home did what I asked them to do.

Since we already had an Independent bathtub seven years ago, we knew what we were looking for. It was a satisfactory buying experience. The dealer had a good line of information and was willing to share it. The installation team was a little late getting here because they had to pick up their equipment and the tub itself in Charleston, South Carolina. It also took them a while to lay their hands on it, but they came on up and worked well into the evening. And then, was up and did it again the next day, and finished it up. The salesperson and the installation team were both fantastic.

We responded to something on the internet about walk-in bathtubs then we chose to go with Independent Home because they were considerably cheaper. The quotes that we got from the other two places we checked out were right around 18,000 but with Independent Home, it was 10,000. However, the salesman did not know the product very well. He told us that the standard tub has 44 jets and that the one we bought has 38 jets, so there's a difference of six. But that was not true because it has only 28 and we did not realize that until the installer came with the tub. It was a big difference and the jets were in different places. But it wasn't enough for us to turn the tub away because the installer gave us the option. The installation guys were great as well. They finished everything in one day and didn't scratch or do anything wrong. Neither did they have to replace any wallpaper.

There was a salesman from Independent home who stopped by and told me about his company's walk-in bathtubs. He explained it to me and everything, and it sounded good. We made a deal, and they put the tub in the next day. The installation went fine and their crew worked every minute. They never stopped 'til they had the whole thing done. Thus far, I feel the tub is top quality.

I can't tell you how pleased I was with installation. Men were here 8:00 straight up, went right to work, took all precautions not damage anything and put clothes down on my floors, went through all instructions, cleaned up behind themselves and all was done. We got the cheapest tub that Independent Home had for my mother who is 83. The salesperson who came here was an awesome gentleman. The people who put it in were incredible. Everybody was on time and they did a great job. It was one day, just like they said. They had it within a week and they came one morning at 9:00 o’clock, on the dot, and they were here all day ’til 3:00 o’clock and did everything. So far we’ve been using it for showering and bathing, and both my mom and I love it. They put in the grab bar in the tub and there’s a hook-up on the wall. There's a part where heat comes out at the back of the seat, and it feels good on your back. It's the absolute best experience I’ve had in a while since I’ve been here in Florida. I told my barber about it and I brought the pamphlet and showed it to him when he asked me.

Independent Home's tub was cheaper than what they used to be, and what I paid for it was a real fair price. They did a good job putting it in and it looks nice. It does what it needs to do, and 10 minutes are all you need to set up everything. I’d recommend it.

We had estimates from a couple of companies and it appears that Independent Home gave us not only the best price but also went through things with us in great detail. We wanted to go with the hydrotherapy but, unfortunately, our home was not able to run the electric lines to do that. So, we went with the soaker. The purchasing process was easy and the installation was very good. Tony, the gentleman from Independent Home, knew exactly what he was doing. The house is very old so we had glass and stone behind the tile. It took time in order to get the cast iron tub out as well as to fill in the cracks and remove the step. So, it was time consuming but Tony was very thorough with his work. My wife says the tub is more like a spa than anything else. So, she is in love with the installation and the way that it’s functioning.

Independent Home was gonna do the hot tub at $12,000, just that it doesn’t say Kohler. The dealer came back twice in order to adjust things. He put a 50-gallon water tank in too and that’s working well. We’re satisfied with Independent Home.

With it, I like the fact that the water stays warm for the entire time you're in there soaking. During the installation, everything went quickly. The guys knew what they were doing and they did it very efficiently, including taking doors and door jambs out. Getting the tub into the house was interesting, but we managed.

At first our schedules did not agree and several days passed before we actually sat down with Ari to discuss the tub, but it was worth the telephone tag and wait. While Ari knows his product inside out, his is not your typical salesman. There is no hard sell, no bombardment of "unique" features we can't keep straight, no super special deal if we commit immediately, no special discounts if we use cash or check, just a reasonable price for the tub with the features we like. And, by the way, there are no "unique" features in this business that Independent Home cannot provide.

I would recommend Independent Home to anyone who is gonna get a walk-in tub. The price seemed reasonable and the way the rep explained it and told me about it, it seemed like it was a good, sturdy walk-in tub that's better than a lot of those on the market. I bought a walk-in therapeutic spa tub and it was easy. I made a downpayment and monthly payments. The installers were very good too. They put it in and cleaned up.

I am totally pleased with my experience with Independent Home. Everything was great, and I love my walk-in tub. It's the most wonderful thing in the world. I'm 76 years old and I get in it everyday, fill it up and just relax. I put some Epsom salts in there, too. My skin looks so much better and I feel so much better. At this age, all your joints hurt, but having the tub helps so much. I wish I bought one sooner and I've told all my friends about it. People come over here and tell me they are gonna get my tub, and I say no. "Nobody's gonna get it."

My family thought it was a scam. Now, they like it. They’re completely different.
