Bathtub to shower. The two gentlemen on my job were very friendly and professional at what they were doing. They were careful to clean up each day before they left. I was very impressed with the job they did and would be very happy to recommend your company.

My sister and I purchased a Walk-in Spa Tub last summer (2018). We had service out three times within a couple of months of install. The install was great. The service tech was respectful and did a great job. I was disappointed that the tub was not installed in the direction we asked for. I let that go. The work looked so good.

I have an elderly lady at my church who got a walk-in tub and it cost her 13,000. She said it was the most wonderful thing she has ever done. I have multiple cirrhosis. So, it's difficult for me to maneuver, walk around and get in and out the bathtub. I like to take a bath and my husband always likes to take a shower. We have a stand up shower and it got to be difficult. On occasions, I would have to have him lift my leg over the edge of the tub or out of the tub. So, we went looking at Lowe's or Menards. They have these nice big shower stalls and they weren’t all that expensive, but by the time we bought the door and everything, it was around $1,500. In the midst of looking at that, we came up on a walk-in tub at Menards and it was 39.99.

My wife saw an advertisement for walk-in bathtubs. We are getting old and we decided that it would be a good idea to get one. It would be easy to get in and out of. The installation team from Independent Home knew what they were doing. They were here all day but we got out of the way and let them do it. The tub worked out great as well as our experience.

Someone from Independent Home came to our home and purchasing from them was extremely easy. We got the only model that would fit, and the installers had to come back another day but they were very good. I take a bath every other day now and we haven't been doing that in years.

I have been trying for over a month to get a replacement faucet. I have called the 1-800 number several times and they keep telling me that They will have someone call me. I just called now and they hung up before they even took my number. Cory

I did an online search and Independent Home was the one that answered back. I had been looking into this for a while ‘cause I didn’t know if I wanted to do that or turn it into a handicap bath, and when I got to research it, they had the best prices compared to the other places. Purchasing was the easiest in the world. Everything was explained and they showed me videos. The installers knew what they were doing and did it in the amount of time they said they would do, and they didn’t miss cleaning up.

I've been interested in a walk-in bathtub for a long time because I am no longer able to get out of a tub by myself. I am disabled, so I needed the walk-in tub for health reasons. The first gentleman I spoke with at Independent Home was a very nice man and was very congenial. He was very good about calling me back when I had a question. The installation of the walk-in bathtub went well. The general manager called me and he said that he had another tub that just came in. It was still in the crates and it would cost less. Although I can manage, my problem now is I am a little on the queen size, so I have a little problem getting the door shut because I need about another three inches wider. I am satisfied.

My wife has arthritis and I'd been thinking about getting a walk-in tub for a long time. I looked up Independent Home and I went with them since they make their own tubs locally in the States, and it's got a lifetime guarantee. The rep was really nice, but the price tag was pretty high at $11,000 each. Still, the installation guys did a very good job and cleaned up their mess. They were very nice and polite. I've already told their boss that he should give them a fair raise. We have two full baths so I got two tubs, and the ones I got have bubbles. We both use them and they work well.

I got several quotes from different walk-in tub manufacturers several years ago. I didn't decide to do anything back then but now that I am ready to get one, Independent Home came along. I then got my unit from them. The salesman I worked with was wonderful. He seemed very knowledgeable and his delivery was great. The installers who came to install the tub were very friendly and knew what they were doing. It took them three hours before they completed the job, but then I thought that it would take all day. Overall I'm very satisfied with the tub. It's everything I thought it is. I have arthritis and problems with my back, and it really helps.

Somebody called me to see if I might be interested in the Independent Home walk-in tubs, and I said, “Maybe.” So then he came over and showed it to me, and I said, “Yes.” The salesperson that came left it up to me whatever I wanted to do. That was very nice, and I would recommend him to anybody. The installers were great. I didn’t have to pick up or clean anything after them. It was all clean. The Independent Home tub is great, and I love it.

I've been looking through the phone book and found Independent Home. I called them and the people there were friendly. However, the installer didn't complete the job and there are still some stuff that needs doing on it. When he did the caulking, he didn't caulk everything. The caulk in the door that goes at the side of it is already cracking. Somebody needs to come back. I've had them out here one time, but the tech didn't finish the job and left. My wife loves the tub, but I am very dissatisfied right now.

My wife was having some problems and I saw something on the internet about walk-in tubs, so I decided to get one. Independent Home was the first one that called me back and I had no problem with them. I had a few questions and they answered them. I purchased a tub and a shower and the installation team was good. They took about 4 hours and got things done. However, the dealer furnished me with a couple of broken pieces when they put it together, but then everything went well. I was also gonna call them about the handheld shower if they had one with a smaller grip on it since the grip on it is rather large. My wife has small hands and it's hard for her to hold onto it. I have one with a smaller grip but I don't know whether I should put it in without talking to them first or not.

Independent Home's tubs are outrageously expensive, but we couldn't seem to find anything and decided to just go with it. The installation was pretty good. The tub was put in very nice. It's very attractive. However, There were some people who didn’t agree with some people and the installer said one thing and we found out something else. I didn’t get everything as straight across as I thought I was going to get it. I was more confused at times than I needed to be. Maybe it's just because I'm up in years. But there was a little discrepancy here and there. We experienced a lot of concern and worry but there were some very good people there, especially the one who came here and introduced the tub to us. He tried to walk the last mile. Some people made me more comfortable than others and I liked them better.

I saw ads on the television about walk-in tubs and Independent Home was the company who called me. The rep was wonderful and the experience was very good. The installers were fantastic and I love the quality of the tub. I haven’t had a good bathtub in a long time and other than the fact that this tub takes a while to fill up, I’ve enjoyed the experience totally.

The guys called and confirmed their arrival and was on time. Both are very precise. These gentlemen are very professional and were able to solve all the problems associated with the job. I'm getting older now and I slipped in the tub. It's funny because Independent Home had come out and talked to me and I haven’t decided. And then I went to take a shower and I dropped shampoo in the bottom of the tub. I slipped on it and the only thing that saved me from falling was one of these little cheap chairs that I put in my shower. That was God telling me I need to invest in something for my health. I received a phone call from Independent Home and the woman asked me if had I ever thought about getting a walk-in tub, and we started a conversation. Then she said she would send somebody out to show me the pictures and give me an idea of what was involved and the price. They weren’t pushy and they weren’t selling. They didn’t tell me to buy anything. She just told me what the product was and how long it would take them to install it.

Independent Home's rep gave us a good presentation and we decided to take it. There was nothing pushy. The walk-in tub was a little higher-priced than we intended to go for, but we decided to do it. Very nice people installed the tub. They worked on it diligently and got it done in a day and a half. The tub is more than a regular tub. It has a seat and the jets. We love it. It has been a lifesaver for us.

Install walking shower and vanity counters - Installers were on time both days, very professional, left things neat and well organized when they left the first day. They left the area clean upon completion of the job. The father/son team were very cordial and well mannered. The product is gorgeous. Is much better than I anticipated.

The Installers was great not to mention the fantastic job they did on the installation. My wife and I love the finished product. Ozzi and his crew were top notch. The tub is fabulous. We enjoy every minute of our session in the tub. I am a big man and that tub is Great, I am able to take a bath which I was unable to do because I was too tall. But now I can do both bathe and shower and enjoy a Hydrotherapy Spa any time of the day or night. Thank you Independent Home for such a great product and improving the way life for my wife and I. We would highly recommend this product to everyone.

We've got arthritis in our knees and back, and we thought a walk-in tub might help. They're mighty expensive, but we went ahead and did it. Somebody from Independent Home came up here, showed us all that stuff and talked to us. I don't know if he was pulling our leg or what. He said he invented all of the walk-in tubs then other people bought them and put their names on them. But he was a talker. That's for sure. As for the installation, they did a good job. It was an all-day job because they had to take our old tub out. They also had to take the door facing down to get it through the door. But they fixed everything back to how it's supposed to be.

I am the owner of a newly installed "walk in tub". The installers were so friendly and courteous, they made me feel like I was family. The installers were on time and were very professional and courteous. They took extra care to take care of my property and to clean up at the end of the day. The spa looks awesome cannot wait to use it. Would recommend to anyone.

Shasta and Sandra were very friendly and knowledgeable about the product. They explained all they were doing as they went along, there was a lot to do here. They kept the work area clean before and after. They answered all my questions. You could tell they knew what they were doing, and when they were finished they showed me how everything worked. My hope is this will address some of my issues. I have used it twice and I can feel some benefit already, YEA.

Independent Home's installers were very courteous and our interaction was very professional. Our tub has little holes and the bigger holes for the jets. Also, it has a wave-action splash. The tub seems to be good except that the seat is a little uncomfortable. We just put down a hand towel to sit on. Also, we experience some trouble with not having enough hot water to fill the tub. Before, we could always take a regular shower and have no problem. But now, we don’t have enough water. The tub might have just become larger and holds more water. Everything else seems to be all right.

Our experience with David and Harold was so much less stressful than we had imagined for the complete removal of our original tub/shower and installation of the new one. We love our new walk-in tub so much we wish we’d have called sooner!

Dean and Alex did an outstanding job putting in my spa tub. They worked diligently with care and conscientiousness to make sure everything was as it should be. I would highly recommend them without hesitation, they went above and beyond. Job well done!

Installers where scheduled to arrive at 8:00am, John called me promptly to let me know that they were running behind, due to all the construction going on in my area (even I have a hard time getting places on time because of backed up traffic!). Both of the gentleman were very polite and professional. They were both very knowledgeable and did quick work of removing the old setup and installing the new. My bathroom was ready to go when they left. I have not tried my new spa tub yet but am sure looking forward to it. They were very neat and tidy with their work. Even passed a mop! I needed a replacement for my tub for my guestroom and contacted Independent Home. They sent out an agent and we had a discussion. They'd gut the place while the other place I talked with would just cover up the old system and weren’t offering anything else. Also, Independent Home would also put in a new floor and cabinet. Independent Home's purchasing process was simple. They did the work and I paid them. The installers were here for three days and worked for eight hours a day. Independent Home is a little pricey, but the quality of the work is worth it. Plus, I like the tub and I’m satisfied with the results. Most of all, my wife likes it too. I would highly recommend this company.

Very good job. Money well spent. Happy wife is a Happy life. Lifetime warranty. Paid off in 18 months. The two men show up on time and work well together and cleaned up the bathroom. They took time and showed me how the walk in tub works.

The installation was completed over a two day period. John and his son were very professional and informative along the way. Left everything neat and tidy as they said they would. I have not had the opportunity to use the spa as yet but look forward to it.

My tub was tall and I was going to have to replace the stuff around it anyway so something new needed to be done. I talked to Independent Home earlier and they came to me. Their customer service reps were all very nice as well as the guy who installed the walk-in bathtub. I couldn’t ask for a more polite guy. The installation took three days altogether. The situation was a little bit different because he had to get some parts, then he had some problems and I wasn’t gonna be able to be home, so we couldn't finish it until the next week. But it was fine. I liked the grab bar, but if I was redoing it, I would put them a little bit differently. Also, if you don’t have a bath mat down and once the soap gets on there, it gets slick so it’s dangerous. Still, I would recommend Independent Home. It is very feasible for anybody who doesn’t want a tub with it.

Spa install - The men were very kind and did the job in a very timely fashion. My husband was unfortunately not able to be here as he was in the hospital, but I think it will be a big help and surprise when he gets to come home. It is really beautiful. I am excited to try it out soon.

I was looking for a walk-in tub. I wanted one due to medical reasons. I looked at different models and I liked a unit from Independent Homes. It has what I consider a good lifetime warranty. I also liked the position of its handles, how its door worked, the number of its jets and the air in the outputs, and that it fits. I bought the tub and the purchasing process was easy. They provided me with everything that I requested for prior to signing the contract, which included a certificate of insurance. That was a little difficult as it had to come from their corporate office.

I am very happy with my walk-in tub from Independent Home. I was about to have hip replacement surgery, and I thought that the walk-in tub would be beneficial for me. It would be easier to get in and out of the tub than having to step over a jacuzzi and get in. The walk-in tub that I got didn’t have a big shower, but I can shampoo my hair while I’m sitting there. It’s convenient for me because it fits in where the jacuzzi was. You sit down, you turn the water on and before you know it, you’re ready to bathe. It also dispenses out quickly.

John is very talented, thorough, thoughtful and kind. He is professional, trustworthy and a joy to have working in my home. Very few workers leave the work area as clean as John has left my home and garage. His personality and sense of humor was most pleasant. And I really like the spa too!

My bath tub and counter top were removed and replaced in 2 days. The work crew were very courteous and efficient. Our drain pipe was not placed correctly but the 2 men took care of the problem very nicely. They had to drill the cement and change water pipes in order for the placement of the shower drain opening to fit. I was pleased with their workmanship.

My wife, who is 70 years old wanted a tub. Although her doctor was concerned that the strong jets can hurt and bring damage to elderly skin, she wanted it to shoot out water. And so we looked for ones that were more air jets. We considered a couple of other companies but the price was a bit more than what we wanted to spend. And when the salesman from Independent Home had left, I read through the ad and found they had veterans' discount, and they were more than happy to apply that to the price after we negotiated. But we never heard from the salesman again. The follow up was bad as well because there wasn't any. In addition to that, a pillow and a headrest were committed to us but they never came. When I got a hold of a customer service rep, I was told that they must have missed it and so they'll get them out to me as soon as they can and they did.

Installers were very courteous and friendly. Kept us informed throughout the entire process. Both Jason and Josh were very professional and helpful. They both cleaned up great and let my bathroom looking very nice. I would recommend to anyone.

I had my son-in-law research different companies and he gave me three choices. I called Independent Home and two others. Their representatives came out and I chose Independent Home. They were better all over and their customer service was excellent. All of the people were courteous and very good to deal with. The techs that installed the tub did an excellent job and they did it in a day. I love my walk-in tub.

I have been wanting to have a tub from Independent Home and finally, was able to get one. It made me so happy. I’m 73, and getting in and out of a regular tub was a nightmare. The step-in is so low. But it’s easy in the tub from Independent Home. I don’t get nervous trying to get in or out, making sure there’s something I can hang on to if I need to. It’s a lot of peace of mind. I don’t worry when I go take a hot soak because of my arthritis and fibromyalgia. So being able to sit down without having to struggle to get up is also a blessing. Both of my knees are shot. I have half of a patella so kneeling down is painful, and I’d have to kneel down to get up in a regular tub. In this one from Independent Home, I just stand up. The tub is easy to clean as well. I love it and it’s such a joy to have one.

We were talking about getting a walk-in tub and after I answered something back, Independent Home had somebody call and ask me if we were interested in one. I said yes and the reps weren't pushy. Their unit's quality was a little better than the rest. Previously, I looked at some tubs and somebody told me the things to look out for. When I saw this one, it looked like it had all the options they said we needed. The installers showed up early one morning and it was seven o’clock that afternoon they were finished and out of there. They did it all in one day.

We were having problems with our old bathtub and we knew there was water damage down there, so Independent Home came. They fixed the water damage and installed the walk-in bathtub, which was for my daughter. However, she was having trouble with her legs, so she decided on the shower rather than the tub. The reps were extremely good when I made the purchase and although I thought Independent Home was a little expensive, the service was excellent. It didn’t take long to install my daughter’s tub. It took two days which was very quick. I was gonna get an estimate for my other bathroom and I would like to know the price for that.

The rep at Independent Home responded to my questions and what I found was sufficient. The installers who came were nice. It took them about two-thirds of the day to complete the job. So far, it's nice to not have to climb over anything about three inches. I have some kind of leg disability and I don't get around well. It's also nice to have a built-in seat to sit down. I used to have a stool to sit down and there's always a danger of falling over. My experience with Independent Home has been good.

I like getting in the tub, sitting in it and soaking in it a little bit, and that’s what brought me and my husband's attention to Independent Home. I got a call from them and what they talked about interested me. They came out and showed me brochures. Purchasing the tub went good and the installation was okay too. They did it in a few days. They set it in and we could use it. I was skeptic then about getting in it but now, it’s easy for me to get in and out of it. I love getting in our tub. If I don’t fill the water all the way up in it, just taking the shower in it is good for me, either sitting down or standing up. It’s really good and it’s handy with me and my husband doing that. I love our Independent Home tub.

We’re doing fine with our Independent Home tub, so far. We have a handicapped house with big doors to the bathroom so the installation didn't take too long. They just took one tub out and put the Independent Home tub in. We’ve used it and we like it. I do a lot of exercises in it. The tub is deep enough that it gets over my knees, so I stand up and walk up and down. I am experiencing good relief from it. I was guaranteed that they would come and fix the tub any time without charge and that they’d move the tub if we need to for nothing. I just wonder if that’s true. But as far as I know, it’s a good tub and I’ve not had any trouble with it.

I bought a walk-in tub from Independent Home as the quality of the work and the whole set up looked so much better than the other ones, which looked like they weren't even finished. The lady who came out was very thorough and she explained everything as best as she could. Also, the guy I talked to on the phone before they brought the unit in wanted to know if my husband was going to be using it and I said, “Yes, but it would be like in a stand-up position. He wouldn’t use the jets.”

Our overall experience with Independent Home was very positive. They were prompt on arrival. The three men seemed very knowledgeable and efficient at their job. The men seemed to work well together and explained the product in detail. All of our questions were answered. My husband and I would highly recommend Independent Home. We would also give praise to Francis ** who was the rep that was sent to explain the product. He was very thorough in his explanation and presentation of the walk in tub/shower.

I wanted a walk-in tub and I saw the Independent Home Walk-in Bathtub that I like in one of the magazines. I purchased one and the installer of Independent Home did a good job. He cleaned up behind himself and I was pleased with him. I’m okay with the walk-in tub, but I may want a bit bigger showerhead. I’m so used to a big shower head with a lot of water coming, and that's the thing that I miss. Now, I use the tub twice a week and use the shower more than that. I’ve gotten to where I fall a lot, but with my walk-in tub, I never fell in the bathroom since I have a chair in there.

We have not used the tub yet. The installers were very nice and respectful. Wrong color was sent but it looks fine so no problem with that. We did not have the shower section installed. Would be nice if they called the night before to give us the time they would arrive. Still satisfied.

I have arthritis and bad knees and my joints are getting old. I saw the Independent Home walk-in tub on TV and I said, “I bet it would help me.” The tub was everything I thought it would be because of the advertisement and it was fine. The price was right and I was able to get financed right away. The guys who installed the tub were beautiful and they finished the whole thing in an afternoon. I had no headaches. They came in and fixed everything. They had to move my sink and they moved it. They didn’t wanna charge me anything, but they helped me and I am very satisfied with the product. The tub looks very nice. It is really good to relax. I don’t have to go to a public place. I can go home and go downstairs and enjoy the tub. I’ve tried to talk to some of my relatives and I told them, “Just come over and sit on the tub and let the bubbles get a hold of you, and you go enjoy.”

Independent Home's salesman came by my house, talked to us and showed us their product. My knees are giving out and my wife really liked the walk-in tub. The installers were professional and really good. And they didn't break a lot. They stayed at it for a day and a half until they got the job finished. The walk-in tub is well-built and changed my wife's day-to-day. She loves taking hot baths, and when mama is happy, everybody is happy. I'd recommend Independent Home.

I had an Independent Home walk-in tub installed and I’m pleased with everything that went on. They sent somebody who I could talk to and really show me some pictures up close that I could see. The personal contact pleased me since I cannot get around very well. We then had the installers and they were working in a pretty tight spot here. We're a narrow hall, and to cut the big pieces that they had to get, they were here for quite a while. They came about 10:15 in the morning and it was 7:30 that night before they left. There was a lot of dust but they cleaned up very well after themselves.

I wasn't sure I was ready for this product but I am glad I decided to get it. The company was very helpful and the installers were so friendly I feel like their family. I cannot wait to take my first bath in my new tub. Thanks Independent Home!! I feel like shouting to the rooftops how happy I am.

We had an Independent Home walk-in tub put in which turned out to be a very easygoing, painless experience. They were better than what I expected. The big names like Kohler were way out of reach so price was the factor when we went with Independent Home. A well-spoken older man came out and our purchasing experience with him went smoothly. We told him what we had available and he looked at our situation. He pushed the model that we bought. Then, their people did a very workmanlike, fast job of putting the tub in. Got it in the morning and they were out by late afternoon. It was done quite well and had good workmanship. However, I don't like it very much that you can’t lie back on the tub because it’s a sit-up. It’s utilitarian but it does the job and my wife won’t be falling anymore. She can get in and she’s comfortable in it. She can get washed and her hair without falling around. So, it's probably the best that we had going.

My husband has some health issues and he can’t get down in our big garden tub. It takes a good while for him to get the energy and me to help him get out of it and that was frightening for him. I felt that we really needed to get the Independent Home tub because it would help with my husband’s circulation. We had a little problem with the installation though, when we didn’t have enough tiles and the installer couldn’t get the needed 18 tiles. He has told me that the tile would go under the edge of the tub but he didn’t have quite enough.

An Independent Home rep came out, explained everything, and theirs was with a warranty. He was very professional, and he answered every question that we had. We've been very pleased with it. I got the one-person and it has a shower, but not like one of the tubs out now. Now, it has a one that's up high. This is a pull-out one. The installers were great and they, too, explained how to use everything when they left. They were really good and they did a fantastic job. It looks like it has always been there. The tub is good and it feels comfortable.

We are very happy with our tub - so far! Once our parents are actually using it on a consistent basis, then we will know for sure how well it is! They are both elderly, and we are hoping that this tub will open up freedom for them to bath properly and regularly.

A man came out here and we sat at the table for about 30 minutes. He was very pleasant and cordial. We chatted and then he showed me the Independent Home product. I was interested in getting one because my wife is very ill and has difficulty getting in and out of the tub. So, I made the decision to purchase one. Two men came for the installation and they were very good and nice. However, the installation took a little longer than expected. I was told it would take about a day but they had some problems. The door entrance into this particular bathroom was a lot smaller than they anticipated and they had to remove the door frame. They said that they would take down the frame, redo it and put it back. They finally finished it and were good at solving problems about what to do. We haven't had any problems.

I dealt with a good sales rep from Independent Home. She did a good job. However, the installers did not clean up the floor, the doors and the countertops. I had dust all over when they took the tub out. Nevertheless, they were very friendly and professional. Everything has been fine since we got the walk-in tub.

My wife has some neuralgia problems and getting in and out of a regular bathtub is extremely difficult. While Independent Home had some competition, they burned the price down to a point where it was competitive. The guys who installed the walk-in tub were A-plus guys. At first, there was some concern about how they were gonna get it in because the doorway was very narrow. But what happened was I told him to turn around and look at the window, and the guy put his tape up to the window and said, “We’ll do it.” And it was done very quickly and easily. Though it took them a better part of a day to put in the walk-in tub, they were very very good considering the time constraints and that they had to hoist it up. Independent Home is a pretty good outfit. So far, my wife is enjoying the walk-in tub a great deal.

We purchased a walk-in tub for my wife. She is handicapped and she couldn’t get in and out of a tub. The walk in tub that we got from Independent Home had grab bars, a shower, and it had jets. Purchasing it from the dealer was great. He showed us all the features and the price comparison. The installation was an all-day thing and we had it done in our master bedroom. Whenever I asked so many questions, they were more than willing to give me information. We really like the walk-in tub and we made a good choice. Overall, my experience with Independent Home was great and I'd tell a friend that I'd go for them. They’re not gonna get anything better in pricing, the people they will deal with are great and the installation was a fairly smooth process.

My sister made an appointment with a guy from Independent Home. He came out and we talked about it. My sister said that she didn't wanna use all my money for the bathtub, but I told her that it is something we both can use. I told her I was willing to pay that kind of money because she is 65 and I’m 57 and we have problems with our knees. I said that the tub would be better, so we ended up getting the bathtub. It has the aromatherapy and the jacuzzi type and shower. The team who came out for the installation was very professional and I would recommend them again. I have severe asthma and I can’t even tell that they had torn anything up. I love the tub, but my sister must love it more than me. She is usually the one in the tub.

I got a bad back and it bothers me. I had a spa at one time years ago and I really enjoyed that, so I decided to buy a tub for the therapeutic part of it. I had been looking at Lowe’s and Home Depot but Independent Home called me one day and we set up a meeting and they were just professional. I ordered an oversized tub for my height and they did a good job on the installation which took almost three days to finish. They took out our existing shower and they did the plumbing into the house. They also took out our old water heater and installed a new one and did all the piping. They then had to cut a hole in our wall to get the tub in but they did a nice job. I really like the tub and I'm enjoying it. I have body aches and I feel a lot better when I get out after using the tub's air and water jets.

The installers are great representatives for your company. They were neat with their work and considerate of our home. They knew the process very well and produced quality work. We are highly pleased in all areas. The installation looks great and we will be happy to show our friends and recommend it to anyone who is interested.

I got an Independent Home one-person tub with a shower. I liked that Independent Home is made in Phoenix and all the guys that work there are from Phoenix, Arizona. The Independent Home salesman was very nice. I had talked to two other people that had Jacuzzis but I really liked him. He was down to earth and he didn't put out a big show. The installers were very nice too and they did it so fast. They came at 8 o'clock and by 2, they were all done and it looked beautiful. I am very satisfied with my tub and I would recommend Independent Home to anybody.

The installation of our Independent Home product went very quickly. We had a wonderful installer who was the nicest guy we'd ever wanna meet. He worked over time clear in to the evening when he really didn’t have to. However, he was so wanting to get such a good job done and he had quite a large install to do. He had to put in new doors and a lot of extra materials. He did an excellent job and we were very, very pleased with him. Thus far, everything has been fine.

I’m 89 years old and a few months ago, they diagnosed me with Parkinson’s. I thought I’d have a serious stroke plus my walking is bad and my balance is bad. I was afraid I was gonna fall getting in and out of the bathtub. So when I got a phone call from Independent Home to see if I was interested in a walk-in tub, yes, I was interested. I also thought it would do no harm to talk to the representative whether I bought or not. But they were very helpful and courteous. It didn’t take me long to decide this is what I should have. It was about 20 minutes or so, and the process was very easy for me. I have a big house and when they came for the installation, they had quite a little ways to go from the front door to the bathroom. So they put down cloth strips to save the carpet. They also cleaned up everything. I was very satisfied with the experience overall and the tub is great. It also has some grab bars.

My wife picked out a walk-in tub from Independent Home and we ended up purchasing that. It has the shower, the bubbles, and a place you can put some stuff in to make you smell good. Purchasing from them was easy and all I got to have was the money. Also, the reps who assisted me did a really good job and they didn’t have to ask a bunch of questions. They just did what they had to do, got it done right, and got out of here. The installers were good as well. They took the old tub out, put the new one in, got everything hooked up, and put a new floor in for us. The quality of their work is good but the very bottom where the drain is is a little slick and I'm wondering if there is anything we can get ti put in the bottom. Other than that, Independent Home did me a wonderful job.

I received a phone call from Independent Home and an offer to come by and assess the work. The rep was very pleasant. We had some shower work done and a walk-in tub placed, and their installation team did a good job. However, there was a little delay in getting the shower work done due to the logistics of ordering some of the materials. That worked out fine though and it was all good. Overall, my experience with Independent Home was very good and I would give them favorable recommendations.

We could not have chosen a more qualified contracting group to install the spa within our home. I found these gentleman to be very warm friendly and polite. We’re all older here and we can’t get into a real bathtub very well. We had a walk-in bathtub where we lived at before and we loved it. We looked at a few walk-in tub companies and they were expensive. We finally chose Independent Home because the price was better. The rep we had was a really nice guy and he seemed like he knew what he was doing and everything with the installation was good. Also, the tub we got has pretty lights and it looks nice.

We bought a standard tub that has the air jets in it. That was what Independent Home offered at the time and it seemed like what we needed. My wife has a bad back and she needed that type of massage. And the tub does suit our needs. I’m real satisfied with the product. I was also very impressed with the people that we dealt with. The salesman was very nice and accommodating, and the purchasing experience was very pleasant. The workmen were also exceptionally good, exceptionally nice and very efficient.

I’ve been thinking about the Safe Step tub for a long time and I wanted to soak in a bath but because of my arthritis, if I got into a regular tub, getting out would take another person to lift me. So when Rick, the salesman from Independent Home, called me, I decided to buy their walk-in tub. I’ve used it a few times and so far, so good. I have arthritis and problems with my back, and when I’m in there under the water, it all relaxes and feels so great. But when I get out, gravity takes over, pulls everything back together again, and getting out is not a pleasant experience. Besides that, you can also take a shower in the tub and it has the aromatherapy, which is nice.

A rep from Independent Home came out to our home. However, he was just really terribly pushy. I really was going to buy one of their tubs anyway, but he just was over the top. Thereafter, their installation team came and they were quite friendly and helpful. I’m on 24-hour oxygen, so I’m stuck to my chair, and they were quite chatty every time they went through. So far, it has taken me a bit to get used to using the tub they installed. Still, the more I use it, the better my experience is with it.

An Independent Home rep called us and sold a walk-in bathtub to us. My husband and I had been looking at them on TV and we just decided that it would be good for us at our age. We went with the one that the rep showed us. It was an $11,000 bathtub that could only fit one person. Purchasing it was easy. The rep and the installation team were very nice and seemed to know exactly what they were doing. We like the tub very well. However, it takes a lot of water to fill it up. If we’ve been shown more than one model, we might’ve gone with another model, but the rep only showed us one and it was probably the most expensive. It disappoints me to know that there are other models that the rep did not show us. Nonetheless, we’re satisfied with the bathtub. It just has holes and the air blows through them. They go up too high in the back and by the time you fill it up over holes, the water bubble goes over the side of the bathtub.

After a guy explained and showed me the Independent Home walk-in tub, I decided I would get it. The installers did a good job of putting the tub in and it looks good. I like our walk-in tub. But I had a problem with not having the hot water for a while. I may have to get me a new water heater. I have also paid a good bit on my walk-in tub now, but Independent Home charges me an awful lot of interest. I didn't much like that.

The guys that came to do the paperwork were very conscientious and they answered all the questions we had. The people who came to install the walk-in tub were tremendously great. They did a lot of the work outside then brought it all in to the bathroom and put it in.

Independent Home did not oversell the product and they were good to work with. It was a good service. Of all the major brands out there, I also thought that Independent Home had a good product. With some of the devices out there, you’re paying for the name and it’s just very expensive investment. Independent Home also had a good approach to their warranty. They said they had a lifetime warranty. There was just a lot of things about it that made me feel comfortable about working with them.

There were two installation guys, and they were very nice and courteous. They had to do it in two partial days. The first day, they came in the afternoon and left just before dark. They packed up and cleaned up everything. Then they came back the next day at 10:00 in the morning, and they were through by 2:00. I would have liked to have had it done in one day, but they were working on someone else's in Wichita, in another town 20 miles from here. They did a great job overall and it was a good experience. We like the tub and I'm very satisfied.

This new tub is for my Mom. Since her stroke she has longed to take a bath again. Thank you Independent Home for making her dream a reality. The installation went smooth and they went above and beyond to make sure the home looked better than when they arrived. They arrived on time and communicated with me often since I was not present for most of the installation. I'm looking forward to seeing the benefits my Mom receives from hydrotherapy.

I decided I wanted something different and I had gotten to the point where I got a couple of pennies. I said I was gonna spend it and purchased a bathtub from Independent Home. The installers did just fine and they were nice guys. They were from Iowa and they had to go so far. Also, I'm glad their rep called me the other day to see how I really like the bathtub and I really do. Every morning, I would get up and I pat it, “I'll be with you tonight.” I get in it and I get to the point I don’t wanna come out. I love it. I show it to my friends and my neighbors.

I liked the price of Independent Home as well as the fact that they could build a tub that would fit the space that was there so they wouldn't have to completely redo my bathroom. I got a soaker tub walk-in from them and working with their dealer was easy. He made an appointment with me, was on time and he explained everything very well. Thereafter, their installers did a very good job and cleaned up after themselves. We have tile in our bathroom and they didn't break anything. Instead, they fit the tub within our tile. Since then, I've been really enjoying the bath tub. Overall, Independent Home did a good job with our house and for others, they might be the company to go with.

My wife more or less was getting caught in the old tub and couldn’t get out. So I figured a walk-in bathtub would be something that she could use. She wouldn't have to worry about getting stuck in it. I'm satisfied and happy with Independent Home. They did a good job and it didn’t take them too long. The rep explained everything to me. And then we got it down to a financial deal where I could deal with.

I had a very good experience dealing with Independent Home's rep. He didn’t try to shove anything down our throats. He gave us the information we needed to make a good decision and didn’t harass us. We were impressed by their determination to get our tub just the way we wanted it and how they put it in a difficult spot without problems. However, one unforeseen thing was that the diameter of the water pipes going to it turned out to be less than standard. Therefore, the pressure is a little less than we would like. Still, that's a problem with whoever designed and built the house and not Independent's. Their guys left everything spotless.

There was a caller wanting to see if I'd let their salesman come out and show their product. Then the salesman came to the door and talked me into Independent Home. We went with the tub that got air holes where it blows air and makes the water boil up. They told me what day they'd be here, and they were here the morning right time we did expect them. I thought they were nice guys and did a good job.

We first got a smaller walk-in tub from Independent Home and then after using it, I felt that it's too small. It had to be built according to what our size was. We got another tub for another bathroom and the installation team was great and very efficient. They did a good job and cleaned up everything. We were satisfied. Independent Home's salesperson called me and set up an appointment. He was very nice and had good knowledge about their product and what it would do. Furthermore, he also seemed to be giving us a good price. However, I should have had reps from other companies come out as well. I've seen ads on TV since I met with Independent's salesperson and I would prefer to have a door that opens out instead of into the tub. Nevertheless, Independent's installation team was very efficient. They were 15 minutes early and they cleaned up thereafter. Since getting the tub, it has made me feel more secure than the shower I had before.

I’m old. In my lifetime, I have had a broken back and I also have had a broken knee. I couldn’t manage a regular tub. Although I could get into a tub, I couldn't bend one leg right and it was hard to get out. A walk-in tub, where I can manage to sit very nicely, was the perfect answer. They just worked hard. I was amazed at how quickly they did things. The walk-in tub that we have has a nice seat, a portable spray, and the massaging feature. And for an added bonus it also has the aromatherapy.

I like everything about Independent Home, the look of the tub, and the promises that they made. Everybody that I talked to was professional, helpful and reassuring, and I was very happy all the way around. The installation was unbelievable. They had a lot of construction to do and had to tear out a wall. I didn’t have anything to do except to just sit. And it just took them a matter of a few hours, and they were gone, and it was perfect.

I like to take a bath, but it was getting difficult for me to get out of the bottom of it from a regular tub. I purchased a walk-in bathtub from Independent Home and although it was expensive, it was less than some of the other offers. The dealer was wonderful. I liked the way the salesman of Independent Home showed me their product. He seems to know his product so we closed the deal. We got the wrong color and the tub was expensive. But it came out nice. The installation team stayed out of our way and were neat. They did the best they could to keep us happy.

My wife and I are senior citizens and my wife needed something like a walk-in tub because she has an illness and she can't be stepping in and out of tubs. We got the one that we thought was gonna be the least expensive. But when we were looking at the pictures on TV, they had a big showerhead above. We were under the impression that this tub would have one like that too. But it didn't and when I found out it wasn't going to, they were already working on the tub. There's a shower in ours but it's smaller. If we could get that showerhead, I would be happier. But other than that, we love it and the work was beautiful.

Our home healthcare people said that our shower had to go. We had remodeled our shower bath about five years ago but we made a mistake of buying a shower that came in a box that had partitions in it. Then the young man who had put it together was not a carpenter and he had not not put it together correctly. The thing was leaking and when I noticed that, I talked to my husband about it and told him that the expense is gonna be much more if we didn't do something about it. On top of that, I have heart trouble and I'm 84. My husband would soon be 86. And there was no seat in the floor of the shower.

We got a tub and a shower combined from Independent Home, and I like that I feel safe in it. They said this is the first one here in Grand Island. The guy that sold the tub to us was wonderful and very friendly. He asked us a bunch of questions, especially concerning my health. The guys that put the tub in were wonderful as well. They came in and shook my hand because I’m in a chair, and every time they walked by me, they said something to me. It was funny, and I enjoyed them very much. At the same time, they were meticulous at what they did. They put a canvass from my hallway down through my living room and through my sun room. They even had it in the bathroom. They didn’t get my carpet dirty, so it was a wonderful experience.

I had a good experience with Independent Home and I like everything about the walk-in tub that I bought from them. It was the size that I wanted and the rows are very conveniently placed to be used as both a tub and a shower. The dealer I bought it from was very professional and the purchase went very smoothly. We usually get American Standard and he said it wasn't as good, so we went with him. The installation team did fine, too. My husband is the one that uses the tub more. The grab bars appealed to us and the seat was the right height for my husband to sit on.

I went online and did some comparison for tub companies. At that time, Independent Home had the best price and installation cost. The salesperson and the installers did a good job. A couple of doors had to be widened but the installation of the walk-in tub was done in one day. I like the tub's design overall and it’s a good product. It's doing a good job and my wife loves it. I had an excellent experience with the salesperson of Independent Home that came out. The process of purchasing the tub was a piece of cake, as well. The installers were very nice and really cleaned up too. And it was a good deal. However, the little pocket area where the door closes in holds water down there after I enter it. And I have to wipe it out each time. But I got the handicap feature with the jets and there's nothing I don't like about it.

Salesman was fine, wasn't pushy. The installers work very fast and efficient. Did a great job, never seen two people work so great together and how fast they done the job. I cannot wait to try out my new tub.

It was a great experience with him. He made all the sense in the world and sounded like he knew what he was talking about. Since my wife had expressed a lot of fear about getting in and out of the old tub, the man was at the right place at the right time. We went with a walk-in tub shower with hydrotherapy. Based on how the salesman was describing it to us, it seemed to have the best set-up of all of their models. Although the installation team that came out started and finished late, they were a good team. They were courteous and they answered our questions. I'd tell my friends to check out Independent Home.

I saw a brochure on Independent Home and I wanted to try it because it gave a good definition of what old folks should do. I’m old and I was having trouble getting in and out of the tub. With the walk-in bathtub, I could sit down for as long as I wanted and it would eventually start filling water at me and I like that. I had very nice interactions with the salesperson who sold it to me as well as the installation team that put it in. The tub is very good and now, I could take a shower or just sit there and soak.

I couldn’t use my regular tub to take a shower so I decided to get Independent Home. The only thing is it took a long time to put the tub in because my house was old and it had old construction in the tub area. It took a whole week, but the installers told us what was going on.

Someone from Independent Home called me and the salesperson was nice and very talkative. We had wonderful interactions. I checked with other tub manufacturers and the prices were higher. So, I got the Independent Home tub model they told me over the phone and then the installers who came were great. However, the aromatherapy feature doesn’t work right and doesn’t even smell when I take it out. I think they gave me stuff that doesn’t smell and so far, I haven’t found any place to buy the stuff. Other than that, I don’t have to climb over the bathtub anymore like I used to do.

I had several bids and Independent Home was the lowest. The other companies I called were so high-priced. I got Independent Home's walk-in tub and it has a shower. I like the waves and all. They told me they could do the work in one day and they did. They did a great job too. Someone else said it would take them two days to do the job and but Independent Home did it within six hours. Their installers were very professional and nice. They explained everything to me.

Their salesperson was a very nice man and was very positive for their product. He didn’t try to pressure us, which I really appreciated. They were really good, knowledgeable, and seemed like very nice men. I like the tub very much and the fact that it’s got the bars that I can pull myself up on if I need to. I also like the air coming through causing the water to massage my body. And, I just like being able to take a bath and not having some trouble getting in and out. I would recommend Independent Home.

I’ve been seeing the pictures of all of the different walk-in tubs in all the different magazines, flyers and had been really interested. Independent Home had a good price and we decided to look into it. It had good features and we went with a walk-in tub that sits down one person. However, we’ve got a big hot water heater and Independent Home does not have a water heater that goes with the tub.

Independent Home called for me and made an appointment to talk about the tubs and the benefits. I called my son and he came down. We both went through the program with the salesman who came and my son seemed to think it was good for me. At that time, I was getting afraid to get into my tub. I was afraid I was gonna slip and fall. The walk-in tub I chose seemed like a really good deal and it was what I needed. My son also agreed with me so I went ahead and got it. The installation went really well too. In about a day and a half, the tub was in and they were through. The team was very good and I'm very satisfied with the tub. Now, I can get in and take a shower, and not be afraid to fall. It's been a great experience.

The installers were very good, very efficient and very polite, too. I really haven't used it that much though because it takes so much water and I don't have that much water.

I am in the process of having a Walk-In Tub installed. I have been excited about having this type of tub. At this point the installation is going well. The installers have been very personable and helpful. They have involved me in every aspect by sharing everything that is being done making sure I am very satisfied. The price of Independent Home was pretty reasonable. I enjoy the walk-in feature of the tub that I bought from them. The only thing I don't like about is it takes so much water to fill it up. But the salesperson was great. The installer did a good job too. He did what they said he was gonna do and was in and out in a shorter time than scheduled.

I got a call from Independent Home and since I was in contact with them, I decided to purchase from them lower-cost walk-in tub because the only difference between that and the others was that it didn't have all the bell and whistles, which I didn't need. The purchasing experience was very nice. The salesman who came explained everything and seemed like a nice person. The installation team went around their business and took care of everything. And if they had a question, I was here so all went fine. They did it in one day and left no mess. It all went smoothly like they said it would and all I had to do was write a check. I'd recommend Independent Home to anyone.

I got an Independent Home straight walk-in tub without any power, whirlpool or light. The whole process was well thought out of and took about a month. They called me ahead of time for installation date, and I spoke with the installers ahead of time as well. The guys who came did a good job and I liked them. I've only used the tub once, but it worked okay.

An old boy that sold the walk-in bathtubs to me had my phone number so I asked and he told me about it. I wasn't even thinking about having one, but I did it anyway since I'm 88 years old and I'm getting to where I was thinking I'm gonna have a little problem. So, I thought that this would be a good time to do this. The guy said the Independent Home tub was half-priced. I purchased the highest priced walk-in bathtub because it had a shower and a quick pump to drain the water if something happened and had to get out.

We got a call from a guy from Independent Home who wanted to come out the next day and he did. He talked to us and didn't sell us anything that we didn't want. The price was right and it had everything that we really wanted. That's why we went with them. We live in a double-wide trailer, and it was gonna be a really big job to get it in our bathroom. So, we told them to cut the Sheetrock and slid it in from our den, and that was what they did. Then they put the Sheetrock back. It has a crack on it, but it’s not really that bad and noticeable. The installation went well and they cleaned up after. The tub has this feature where it can massage your feet with just the air blowing around your feet. It will start blowing real hard and then it'll settle down a little bit. Then, it will come back again with a surge. They also put some aromatherapy on it. We love it.

I like Independent Home and I've put the word out for them too. it is a great company and they have a great crew working for them. I purchased the tub due to my health problems. I’ve had back surgery and I have serious problems with my legs. And the gentleman who came out was very forthcoming and patient. He walked through the whole process with me and there was no pushing. When he came back to do some additional caulking, he even stopped at Walmart and picked up a shower curtain and a curtain rod. He didn’t have to do that but he did and he even hung those for me. The guy was fantastic.

I'm 83 years old and I was falling in my regular tub and slipping up in it. I didn't want to hurt myself, so I decided to get a walk-in bathtub. I was trying to get the cheapest way out and went with Independent Home. Now, I don't have to worry about slipping like I would in a regular tub. I'm real pleased with the tub and I’m enjoying it. I would recommend Independent Home 100%.

It had a quadruple bypass operation and the hospital people kept pressing me to not get in and out of a tub without someone with me because I could fall. They made me so afraid of taking a tub bath. I had two tubs but I was terrified. I didn't take a bath and I just hand washed at the sink for a month. So, I decided to get a walk-in bathtub. Somebody from Independent Home came here to tell us about their tub and then, somebody came a couple of weeks later to put it in which was wonderful. The installer would stop to explain things, then we understood and left but the installation was so smooth and it was all done in one day. We came back later to put the holder up for the soaps and it was perfect! I didn't think I'd like that little wire thing holding the shower head but I've learned to adjust to it beautifully.

Neither Kirk nor I could get in and out of our old tub anymore. We consulted Independent Home and their sales representative came out to the house. He was very friendly and helpful, and gave us all the information that we needed. We liked the walk-in bathtub that they offered and we decided to go ahead and buy one. We got the biggest tub model they had. The two installers were very efficient and did a great job. They told us the installation would take up to nine hours, but they finished the job in six and a half hours. Everything looks very nice and we’re very happy with the tub. I would purchase a tub from Independent Home again in a heartbeat.

Independent Home's rep was very efficient and professional. He was right on time for his appointment. The installation team was wonderful. They made sure that everything was done properly before they left. They even took the old tub out and cleaned up their mess when they were done. My wife couldn't step over the old bathtub to get in and we love the walk-in tub. We've had a little bit of problem with the leaking around the door, but it's because of the amount of pressure we put in closing the door. It's just a matter of going far enough, but not too far. I'd tell friends to come over and try it. They'd be sold.

My mother had a really severe arthritis and had fallen and gotten a compression fracture. It was really hard for her to get in and out of the other tub. I was purchasing the Independent Home for her and before it got installed, she passed away. After my mom died, my dad got sick and been in and out of the hospital in emergency rooms and doctors' offices. I had to take a medical leave of absence to stay home with him and get things situated. I thought my dad would be able to use the tub, but he can't because he is in much worse shape than my mom was, and he can't get in and out of it without a lot of difficulties. So I have to have a walk-in shower installed somewhere. My sister and I use it, and we like it.

My husband is gonna be 80 next year and I’m gonna be 79. The jacuzzi tub we have is a really big one and it’s surrounded by a deck in the bathroom. At our age, getting in and out of that tub is difficult. So, we looked into getting a walk-in tub as a safety factor. We figured we could put that in so we could sit down to take a bath or we could stand up or sit down to take a shower.

My husband is not well so I thought I would be able to use Independent Home more with him. But I don't think I'm going to be able to do what I thought I would be able to do with him. I did get him in there once and filled it up most of the way, and he seemed to enjoy it, but it takes so long to fill up. Nonetheless, the salesman was very congenial. I enjoyed talking to him. The installer did a good job. He was very professional, he worked well and cleaned up after himself.

Independent Home came by the house and I talked with their rep. I got the tub with the shower since we're getting older and we need something like that. During installation, the installers were very polite and did a perfect job. They did it in a day’s time. I love my tub and I’m very pleased with it. It feels good when I use it and I relax better.

We had talked about getting a walk-in tub off and on and my wife heard about Independent Home. Purchasing from them was very easy to do. The installation took one day and the techs were very nice and courteous. The bathroom was spotless after they were done. They did a fabulous job.

This company tried to put in a walk in shower style that I did not order and was subpar. When I complained one of the 4 people I talked to, named Greg, tried to intimidate and bully me into accepting their product. I also found out from my plumbers that they damaged my joists in my floor and did not do any plumbing in the correct way! The people that installed the shower were not plumbers or licensed contractors and should not be do this work. For people that may have gotten the correct tub or shower still do not know the damage that was done under the tub or shower or their house.

The Independent Home bathtub is a quality product. It was the most expensive bathtub but I like all the features and the quality of what we were getting for the money on it. We got the one with a lot of aerators and a lot of air flow things to stir the bath and the installer did a good job installing it. It took a day to complete it. All in all, I have a real good experience with Independent Home.

One of my friends in a nearby town told me that there was a guy over at her house, trying to sell her an Independent Home walk-in tub. She lives off her Social Security and couldn't afford it. She as told she could get a loan, but she doesn't don’t make that much off Social Security to pay a loan off. I said I was interested in the walk-in tub and to send the guy over. She gave him my phone number and he made an appointment with me.

All of us are getting up in age and it was hard for us to step over in a tub. I got a telephone call, we set up an appointment, and the reps came out and talked to us. My buying experience was good due to the way the rep explained things and the ones who put the tub in were good. They cleaned up their mess and did everything perfectly in one day. It's easier to take a bath now. Independent Home is wonderful.

Independent Home's purchasing process was very easy. I could either pay it off all the way, in six months or without interest for 18 months. My interaction with their installation team went very well. They installed the walk in tub perfectly and we're very much satisfied with it. However, I've had a knee surgery so I haven’t been able to use it for the last four weeks. Nevertheless, I’d highly recommend them.
