I got a 96-year-old father that lives with me here and I thought this is the time to put in a walk-in tub if he’s going to be able to stay here longer. We had the Independent Home salesman come out. We thought we were given a good deal for the situation that we’re in financially, so that’s who we went with. The salesman was detailed and got his point across. Within a week or so, they had two installers here. They put it together and they’re very courteous. However, the hot water is a little loose. We just have to be careful with it. I actually used it a couple of times. But that’s the only thing we’re watching and everything else seems to be fine. I would recommend Independent Home.

We purchased a tub about 2 weeks ago and could not be more pleased. The tub is everything we had hoped for and more. The installers (Jerry and his 2 sons) completed the installation in one day and were so professional and helpful. They explained everything perfectly and even left a phone number if we needed anything or had any questions. We are VERY satisfied. Thank you!

After agreeing to purchase, my install was a nightmare! They ripped apart my door frame, dented my walls and baseboard and totally screwed up existing tile and didn't even clean up the floor. After complaining to the salesperson (Ari) he sent someone back to do repairs, however I had to replace all the tile because there was no way to repair it! Almost a year later the tub started leaking!

We moved into our house and my mother wants to stay downstairs. Her bathroom was old and we were going to re-do it. My husband said that we'd look at the walk-in bathtubs. I did a quick search and started looking. We talked with Independent Home reps. They were wonderful and did an amazing job. They were also local to the area and I like dealing with those companies. If there are problems, I can call them back and they'll fix it the next day. The guy who came out was super nice and he lived not far from us. Also, the installers were amazing.

I had a new knee and got to walk with a cane. We have a big garden bathtub and one day I couldn’t get out of it. My wife has arthritis in her back so bad and she thought she had to get the neighbors to help her get me out again. That bathtub was worthless for us. The first company that came here to sell us a tub was priced at $17,800 and the next was $17,000, but we got the Independent Home walk-in tub at $10,800. That’s a big difference and I’m not a millionaire to put one in at $17,000. The purchasing experience with Independent Home was not at all hard, but we didn’t have money to throw at them and had to make up something.

We're getting up in advanced years and because of health reasons, it's more difficult for us to take an ordinary sit-down bath. After getting some mail from different companies that have the walk-in bathtub, we chose to go with Independent Home. Buying a bathtub from them was an easy process. They called and we chose a convenient time for the representative to come. 15 minutes before the representative arrived, he called and said he was on his way. He was here on time and was very courteous. He made his presentation then we sat down to discuss the price and it was very reasonable.

I don't get around very good anymore and can't get in and out of the bathtub, so I got a walk-in bathtub and I like it. I chose Independent Home because of its price. It was easy to purchase from them, and the installation team did a good job.

My mother-in-law is 86 and she’s frail and not a bath-taker. She’s a shower-taker but she got a little concerned and was always afraid of losing her balance in the shower, so I got the walk-in tub for her but can't get her in it. I always had a jacuzzi for 12 years and I loved it, until I moved to Clovis, New Mexico. I miss my jacuzzi but the walk-in tub is just as good and I’m tickled pink with it. My husband uses it too and he doesn’t even need it. I feel stupid because I didn't get it 10 years ago and only needed it two years ago.

I’ve been hearing about walk-in bathtubs for years and I have some friends who had one. I’ve taken a bath in it too. I’m 92 years old and it’s easy for me to step in and step out in an Independent Home tub. With other tubs, you have to put your feet up and you don’t have something to hold on to, so it’s dangerous for older people. I called the dealer and someone came out to measure the place. He was nice. The installer was all right too. He showed me how the tub works and gave me a book with information to read.

Greg from the Independent Home dealer was very good. He sent me all the stuff through email and answered any questions I had. Ozzy, who did the installing, was absolutely wonderful and had a great personality. The gentleman who helped him, Joe, was good too. They got a little bit earlier than they thought but everything went smooth. Ozzy even went out his way to make sure everything’s safe. I have also referred a friend who's remodeling and she's going to contact Independent Home to get the bathtub.

I just turned 84 and it was getting too hard for me to lift my legs up to get into my tub. I've been getting literature in the mail about walk-in bathtubs, mainly from Independent Home, and I showed this to my daughter. My daughter said, "Mother, you can afford it. Get it." So, I got a walk-in bathtub from Independent Home and I love it. I got it for health reasons and, with my handicap, to make it easy for me to get into the tub. Purchasing the tub was very easy. I just called the dealer and they took my credit card information. They told me when they'd see me about the tub and they showed up when they said they would. The guys that installed the tub were very nice. Everything went well and I had a great experience with Independent Home.

My mother could not get in and out of her garden tub anymore without potentially falling, so we got the Independent Home Supreme walk-in tub that has the shower feature and 32 jets. She can do whatever she wants to do with it. She can step in, close the door, have a seat, and take a bath or a shower. It was easy to purchase the tub from an Independent Home dealer. The reps were very knowledgeable and explained all the details concerning the tub, including its functions and how to take care of it. I could have gotten the same type of tub from another company. But when I told the rep that I was willing to pay $6,000 as an initial payment, he knocked $3,000 off the price of the tub, and that’s when I decided to go with Independent Home.

I've seen walk-in tubs back in magazines for years. But at that time, my wife and I had good knees and hips. It was something that would be nice to have, but I don't need it. It got where both of us are having difficulties with joints. I decided to get one. Independent Home’s salesman came in and we’d bat the breeze. He was a likeable guy. The other outfit was American Standard and their salesman was the gnarliest and nastiest guy in the world. If we didn't go along with his feel, he would give dirty looks and acts upset. We knew we wanted the tub but Independent Home’s salesman made the difference. In terms of my dealing with the installation team, it was great. There were two guys who showed up. The door jammed to the casing around the door and they put all that back. They cleaned up and were courteous. They were very professional and did it in a very short period of time.

Scott and Barb were very efficient, they know the product and features. The installation procedure went very well. They keep everything clean, they do a great job. Nice people and we would recommend them 100%. Salesman Dave ** was very knowledgeable and manager Bryan ** was very helpful. I think we will be very happy with our new walk-in tub.

A guy from Independent Home came by to see us. We’ve had a good experience buying the tub from the dealer who was a nice person. Also, the purchasing process was pretty easy. The installer was nice and courteous too. He was able to answer any question that I had.

I got a walk-in tub from Independent Home. The sales rep came out and talked to us about it and we got what we wanted. The installers came and built it in. I read the information and how to use it. Overall, I'm satisfied with everything.

We got a standard walk-in tub from Independent Home. The salesman, Rodney, was very good, helpful and worked with us a great deal in terms of accommodating our schedule. For my wife, who has a Parkinson's, even if she didn't take a soaking bath, giving her a shower with her sitting down in there and me not having to bend way over is a really nice feature of a walk-in tub. It makes it easy for me to do that.

I had about five guys over here representing most of the major walk-in bathtub companies and I decided on Independent Home mainly because of the cost. Mike was really a super salesman and he was very good. He knew all the answers and he knew how to play the game. Afterwards, two guys came from California and they did a very nice job installing the tub. However, the main reason I started to look at walk-in tubs was the therapeutic value. I have a bad leg and it really hasn’t helped that much, but I've always enjoyed a tub bath and this is a very nice tub.

I had looked online for walk-in bathtubs and someone from Independent Home called me. It sounded good but I knew they're expensive. I called the number and made an appointment. They sent someone out and he was really nice. He told me about their products and how much they were. Independent Home's people were so good, polite and got the work done quickly. The two who came to install the bathtub were also just super and I was pleased all the way around.

The Independent Home sales representative was great but I was so disappointed that he didn’t wait. It’s hard to get in and out of the walk-in tub. When I sit down, I have a hard time getting up because I have a bad shoulder and my left arm is not up to par but that’s the arm I have to pull up with, and there's nothing to pull up with on the right. They also sent me a cushion but it wouldn’t quite fit, so we put towels on top of it. But still it’s a problem having all those wet towels and the seat seems a little bit low for me. I wish that I went with a full-size shower the size of a tub and then put in there my own chair that I can take in and out. I would recommend that people try out the walk-in tub — actually get in one, sit down, and get out — and see if that’s exactly what they wanted.

Independent Home is the best. I have called a lot of different companies about walk-in bathtubs and somebody from them called me back. The dealer that I spoke with was great and their installers were very good as well. Everything was fine.

My daughter found Independent Home in the computer and we went with them because the bathtub has got a lifetime warranty on it. The salesman was very nice and I would give him an A. He even came back out here when we had a leak and fixed it for us. He was out two days after I called, so I have no complaints. They were real good about it. The installers were real nice as well. They got the tub in in no time and they cleaned up after themselves. It feels good when I get in the hot water and I like the bubble when everything is all right. I've wanted to take baths and sit in the hot water. It's fantastic.

When I purchased a tub from Independent Home, it was easy. I like the ease of getting in and out and that it fit in the space that we had. There was no problem during the installation and we’ve had the tub for four months now. I would recommend Independent Home if my friends were considering it.

I have neuropathy and I'm trying to get my feet to feel something so I decided to get a walk-in bathtub. Independent Home was the first one to call and so they were the one that got the deal. Everybody was nice and considerate at Independent Home. The installation team was also really good. They were courteous and showed me how the walk-in bathtub works. So far, it's been good. I'd advise other people to use Independent Home as well.

Called about a walk-in tub for my mom as she was no longer able to get over the ledge of a normal tub. A representative came and talked about the kind of tubs and the work involved with installation and said that he would be able to do everything I needed to make sure it's handicap accessible. So we signed the contract and paid the deposit. We were informed that the tub we went with was on back order so we had to change colors or wait for the color we wanted. We told the representative to go with a plain white so we wouldn't have to wait. Contract said work would begin in 14-21 days, didn't actually begin until day 26. The tile we paid extra for was apparently wasn't a option anymore so we had to change to a random generic tile in stock at the local store, we didn't get a refund of the extra paid for the nice tile.

Independent Home had a good quality product and I could get it in in one day. They also seemed to be very conscientious. The sales person showed me the information on the tub, and we went through that, and the price. It was a good price and with good warranty. I felt it was a good value too on the tub compared to some of the others. It's got air jets, a shower, and the walk-in door. The installation team was very nice and professional. They were very careful about not messing up my floors. They started around 8:00 and were through by 2:00 to 2:30. They did what they said they were going to do and it looked great. And they left my house as clean as they found it. I had somebody come and look at it that was considering buying one.

I was thinking of my wife having any problem and she might break her hip. We're not getting any younger so I decided that we had to have a walk-in tub right now. Purchasing a tub from the Independent Home dealer was very fast, clean, and the installation was very rapid too. The only thing that was questionable was why we were given a door. When they brought it in, they said I'd have to pay it myself. I didn’t quite see that because they knew that this was a problem that they would have to install the door because of the width of the opening. I expected that they should be taking care of this. I was a little disappointed on that aspect because when they brought it in, I supplied the doorknob and the paint and I should never have had to do that.

The Independent Home salesman was a local Montana guy who lives in Helena and he seemed real nice. He came, sat, talked to us about the tub, and gave us a final price on it. We gave him a downpayment and it was an easy purchasing process. They set up an installation date and were on time. They came, installed the tub, and get out of here about 6:00 that night. They hauled away all the garbage and everything else and cleaned up their mess when they got done. It was a tremendous experience.

Independent Home's walk-in tub was made in the USA so I chose to buy from them. The sales rep was very nice. However, I'm having a little problem with the drain that when I turn it to close it and put water in it, it seems that it does not want to go down. Other than that, I'm happy with my walk-in tub.

I am disabled and can’t get in and out of a bathtub. I went on the computer and I liked what I saw so I called Independent Home. The installers did what they were supposed to do. They made the walk-in bathtub look nice up in the bathroom and cleaned up after themselves. I've talked to some of my friends that are seniors like I am about the tub and I would recommend them to friends.

I kept complaining to my husband that the step in our walk-in tub was too high. So he found out about Independent Home's Walk-in Bathtubs. They came out and gave us an estimate. When the gentleman came, I told him that the old step was too high and he agreed with me. I had an accident before so I don’t have the total ability to step up a little higher to get in and out of the tub. But now it's much easier to step into the tub and I also enjoyed it. The guys that installed the bathtub were good, kind and considerate.

Independent Home had a tub dimension I wanted. It's the smallest one they make. We had a huge 80-gallon bathtub. We never used it since it was hard to get in and out of and it created water shortage when you fill it. I wanted to get rid of that. I ended up with the jacuzzi. The walk-in tub was a secondary thing. My wife has some arthritis in her back and didn't like leaning over to put her makeup on and I wanted to create a space to put a sit-down counter for her to put her makeup on. So, I wanted to have a minimum sized walk-in tub.

I had my shower changed to a garden style tub. I wanted to get something that I could use to a better experience than a walk-in shower, where I can soak in and bathe. Their two installers were great and they did a good job. They had the old one out and the new one in within three hours. They also took their time to go over everything with me. They made sure I knew how to operate the tub.

I've been hearing about walk-in bathtubs for years and for me, they were old people bathtubs. I ended up having several back surgeries, a knee and neck surgery. Both my rotator cuffs are shot and I'm getting ready to have those repaired. We have two bathtubs and I kept falling. So, I told my hubby, “I don’t care what it costs. We’re getting one. I am so tired of falling.” I had to get myself one of those “Help! I've fallen I can’t get up” things and put that by the bathroom. I started doing some research with the different companies and Independent Home is the most economical with a good warranty and that’s where we went. My mom and dad who live in Tacoma also purchased a tub. They paid $18,000. When they found out how much I paid for mine, they were livid because they tore up their bathroom floor.

Independent Home's prices and the salesperson who called us were really good and the product seemed to suit our needs. The people we dealt with explained everything. We had a strange bathroom and they still were able to get it in. It was really hard working in the bathroom and the installers had knocked our toilet paper holder off but fixed it.

I'm 72 and my son who is 52. Both of us are getting older and he has trouble getting in and out stepping over the bath tub that we had. So we had been looking at the hot tubs and decided it'd be better to go with a walk-in tub. Besides that, it's all just one person in it. At first, we saw an ad for the same company that had a $1500 and $2000 rebate. But we didn't know about that and that's the time that we went ahead and purchased the air jets. The process with the home dealer was pretty easy because when we decided we were going to get it, we went ahead and went straight to the bank, withdrew the money out and paid him for it.

We got a call from Independent Home and in fact, they even came out. They talked to us about the walk-in tubs and showed us what they had. I had heard about it before and after talking to them, we went ahead and took it. Then we gave them a time to put it in and the installation team went upstairs, put it in, did a good job and left. The experience had been easy. The tub is 5-inch depth in, with double door seal built-in and has a safety grab bar. I enjoy it and I have no complaints.

The purchasing process was very easy. I checked out three different ones and Independent Home was more of what I wanted. I got the taller 47-inch tub to get higher up on my back and I chose that tub because of injury and health reasons. But, the jets aren't as high up as I wanted them. The team that installed the tub has been good, courteous and were able to answer my questions. However, on an older pier-and-beam home with a high tub, they need to look more at the floor because the tub's a lot of weight. If I had done it again, I'd have extra beam pairs underneath the house because of the amount of water that goes in the tub and the amount of weight that goes. It does put a lot of stress in it and it somewhat sinks down a little bit.

I just had surgery on my hip and I wasn’t doing good in a regular shower so I had to have a walk-in bathtub. I’m sorry I bought it because of the cost. And it’s supposed to have a shower holder to hold the shower nozzle up on the wall. They didn’t give me that and I didn’t care for the way they put the trim up. It looks schlocky, but it’s all right. The installers from Independent Home were good but they took a brand-new shower head that I wanted back.

I met a good man who came to the house and explained a whole lot of things about Independent Home. During the installation, it took the installers eight hours to put the walk-in tub in which was good. They knew what they were doing and everything was all right. I'd recommend them to anybody.

Independent Home had a beautiful installation. Their installation team was very good. I feel, though, that I wasn't ready for it. I shouldn't have invested in it. My own shower had a lower threshold than this tub does, and it was easy just to step in and out. My own shower was roomier and I could maneuver better. I get into a fight with the shower curtain every day but it functions well. It's a wonderful product as far as using it for a tub but water is so expensive here in Verde Village. As a matter of fact, after I got the unit, I discovered that my hot water heater was inadequate. So I had to spend an additional amount of money in getting a new hot water heater.

I got online and Independent Home was the first one to call me back. The rep was very friendly and knowledgeable. He's also not too pushy. The installation team was very professional and they did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves as well. I would definitely recommend them. However, we can only fill up our walk-in bathtub below the jets. The hot water tank isn't big enough. We fill it up halfway with hot water, wait an hour and a half and then we climb in over the top.

My contractor gave me Independent Home's phone number and I called them to order the walk-in hot tub. I told them what I needed and they took care of it. However, there was trouble with its arrival. Nobody notified me that it was scheduled for pick-up and it sat around for almost a week waiting for me to go pick it up. What happened was they sent it to my contractor instead of sending it to me. But he didn't see it and I had to do a little work to figure out where it was and how we could pick it up. Then I had my own people install the tub. I like it but it uses hot water like crazy. And if I want to fill the tub, it empties the entire tank. I'll need a 30 or 40-gallon tank. If I had known it was that deep, I wouldn't have gone with it because now I need to have a larger water heater in my house.

The cost of Independent Home bathtub was better for me. That was the reason why I chose them. The one I got has air bubbles but there are no jets in it. The installation was good. I had a problem a couple of weeks ago with the strike plate. But they came right out and repaired it.

It was great with Independent Home all the way through. We went with them for our tub because I like the way that the sales was presented and gave me a lot of information. Getting the tub was something that we had thought about, but the sales rep had all the information available and facts about the other companies that was good as far as getting somebody else in for a second or third opinion. We talked about the model that would work for us, and it was everything that I had expected. Our tub's got the shower attachment, which is great. It also has the air bubbler, which works wonderfully. So, it was everything that I've wanted in a tub and I couldn't ask for anything more.

I had been interested in finding out some information about the walk-in tubs because I'm 74 and I walk with a walker because of back surgery that did not go well. The gentleman from Independent Home called me and wanted to come by about the walk-in tub so my husband and I said yes. He came, explained to us all the pros and cons of this walk-in tub and that because of the jets, it was supposed to be good for us, health-wise. My husband decided that that would be okay, so we bought it and had it installed on the same week in one day. It was really fast and they did a fabulous job of installing it. It was a lot of work and they got it done and it looks great.

We called Independent Home, then Steve came out and gave us a price. We accepted it, and then he did the installation himself. The installation went a little longer than it should because he was getting hundreds of phone calls that held him up. It took him six days and he said it would take about three to begin with. But he did good work and was very organized. My wife is in bad health and using our tub is very relaxing to her and she enjoys it. I haven't used it yet since I had a plate right on my Achilles tendon, but I'm free to get in the tub now and I'm looking forward to getting in it. Quality is excellent and I'm satisfied with what we’ve paid.

I told Independent Home what we needed and they chose the 2016 Acrylic Deluxe model for us. The guys that came and put it in were nice and professional. They had to make the bathroom door bigger. We had a sunken bathtub and they had to remove that and go down to the basement. They cleaned up and got everything out of the way. I'd rather not have somebody in my house doing things, but it was not as bad as I thought it would be. It was noisy because they had to use saws, but it wasn't a bad experience. They let us know when they were coming and they made it as easy as possible.

I had several companies in mind and Independent Home was one of the top knowledgeable ones, so that was cool. They knew what they were talking about. I'm a contractor so I would know if they were spoofing me or not. They gave me a really honest price right off the bat, and their answers were right. They didn't hem and haw, like some of the other ones were doing. It was great purchasing from an Independent Home dealer. They were very quick and responsive. They had a lot of knowledge in the area of what I wanted and it was pretty easy.

Independent Home was the cheapest, so we got a tub from them that had air jets and aroma therapy and when we turned on the jets, we could also punch another button that made it like waves. The Jet feature is my favorite in fact. Purchasing the tub from the dealer was awesome. The manager gave me the cost and we were building a brand new home but we had some problems with the builder so it took longer to build. I kept updating the manager and he kept saying not to worry. When we finally could move in and put the tub in, I contacted him and I thought the price would change because it had been a while but it didn't. The next day, they came out and put the tub in. It was very quick, and the guys that came out were very knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves. The tub worked great. Overall, our experience was great.

In the beginning, I didn't care who I got the tub from. I called other people for the tub and made two or three appointments and they never showed up. But when I called Independent Home, they actually came out and showed up for the appointment to do an estimate so I went with them. The sales rep from Independent Home was great and nice. He explained everything to me and it worked out good. Then, the installation team was really great and they were all nice. It didn't take them till 12 o'clock at night to finish either. The guy explained everything to me and showed us how everything worked. They were also really neat and they fixed everything they tore up. Also, if anything goes wrong, there's a lifetime warranty on it. I can call him in and he'll have somebody close to come out.

I got an Independent Home tub because I wanted it for my husband's legs. He hasn't gotten the courage to get in it yet, but the tub goes with the other things in the bathroom. The salesman was real nice when he called. But then I got discouraged about getting the tub. We live way out and I thought it was useless. There wasn't much room in my bathroom, and I thought we might be wasting his time. But he came out and we figured out a way to put it in, and he couldn't have been nicer. The installation team was really nice as well. They came in and the installation was quick. They got here about 8:30 in the morning and were gone by 5:00. They worked real hard and got it done. I would recommend Independent Home. I had a couple of other people who asked if Independent Home could put the tub in their trailer.

We saw Independent Home's ad and we thought we'd give them a call, get an estimate and see what we were looking at. But they sounded so good that we went ahead and signed up with it. What stuck out most was the confidence that their rep John has in the product. He sounded genuine like he had experienced and sat in the tub himself and he knew. Also, the installers were very knowledgeable. They went in and told us they've changed some of our plans, which was fine because they were right. It was a two-day installation and it was exactly what we expected. We had one callback because the tub was leaking a bit and they came back the next day and took care of it right away.

The guy from American Standard was supposed to come out here but he called that day and said he didn’t wanna come and that tub would be expensive for us anyways. They didn't even ask us if we wanted it or not. Then right after that, this lady called from Independent Home and she sent a guy out the next day and we bought it. He was real nice. And so we just signed up with him and then we got our tub in a couple of weeks. The tub that we purchased got a shower, hot and cold water and air jets. It's a real nice tub. I really like it. The installation team were great. They did a good job and finished it up so it just looks really nice.

I looked at several different walk-in and specialty tub manufacturers and Independent Home had what I wanted. I had one guy come out to make an estimate. We had tile where the bathtub was and he was gonna rip it out, cut out the ceiling, both ends and the side and put plastic or fiberglass all up there. This guy putting it in said, "No, we don't wanna do that. We could take out about four inches above the tub, bust the tub out and leave the walls. Nice fancy tile up there."

Purchasing the tub and having it installed was not difficult, but using it is not as delightful as I had hoped. As soon as I had it installed, I needed to have a new drain line put in so that it would drain rapidly enough. And my hot water heater is not large enough to fill the tub completely. It’s been a little bit of a disappointment and these things should be gone over when discussing purchasing the item. I realized that my hot water tank and my drain lines are not connected, that it’s not part of the tub installation, but it's something that Independent Home should talk to the customer about.

I searched the web about tubs because my husband's in a wheelchair. The other tubs open inward, and he needed one that opens outward. He's a large gentleman and the tub from Independent Home is the perfect product for him. We love our tub. We've had two of them, so far. Now, we're moving into another condominium, which we've closed on already, where we may have to install a tub. We would get the same tub. We're extremely pleased with the product.

There were some comparison prices among tub manufacturers and Independent Home was the best. The sales rep was great and he's a nice guy. Also, dealing with the installation team went well. But they were a day late in putting it in because some guys were sick but one of the installation guys came back from his vacation a day early and then flew his son out from Las Vegas to help him. They installed it the next day and they were wonderful. Then, because I couldn't fill it up all the way with hot water because my hot water would run out, he came over and took a look at my hot water heater and recommended something that you install on it and he put that in for me, too. It gave me enough gallons of water to be able to fill up the tub and the water was warm. The work was well done and the place was very clean when they finished.

We got the bathtub from Independent Home and I was disappointed when I found out after it was installed that it doesn't have a heated seat. For my wife, it is very cold until the water heats it up. But the installers who came out were excellent. They were superb, very knowledgeable, courteous and clean. We enjoy the tub but I wish I would have known that there was a heated seat model. The salesman only showed us one during his sales presentation and that's what we got.

My husband and I were interested in walk-in-tubs for a few years but when I injured my knee while moving we decided to seriously look into purchasing one. We researched local companies that manufactured and installed walk-in-tubs and chose a model from Independent Home. We liked the quality of Independent Home's walk-in-tub and we were happy with the price - as it was less expensive than other walk-ins of the same quality. We really appreciated the personal efforts made by Ari (a managing owner of Independent Home) who informed us about every aspect of installing one of their Walk-Ins. Ari also arranged for an excellent plumber/electrician (Tony) to begin the installation of our tub only a few days after the contract was finalized. And Tony did an exceptional job. Independent Home's Walk-In-Tub is great - relaxing and restorative. We consider it to be a good investment for our health and for our new home!

We had to get a walk-in tub because my dad had been in a bad car accident. I wanted him to have a tub, trying to make it easy for him when he got home. My other half was online and the company that she contacted was Safe Step. They were supposed to call us back. Then this person calls us and it turns out it's not even the same company. I met with the salesman, thinking that he's from Safe Step. He showed us photos of their products with the latest and greatest features. I'm just accepting him for his word. Then I had to go back up and get the okay from my father which I did. So I called them and they went ahead put the tub together and arrange for an installation. When it shows up it doesn't look like the one what the salesman showed me. It has these little 18 holes in it and there is an air pump. So for $10,000 I got a bath tub that blows a few bubbles.

We are so pleased with the installation, service, and product that we received from Independent Home. Ari and his people were amazing. I love my new tub. I'm handicap and it was close to impossible for me to get in and out of a tub, but now with my new tub I'm in heaven. Ari came to my home gave me the best price ever. I had 4 other companies and their prices knock me out of my wheelchair. I found Ari & Independent Home off the web and his prices blew every other company out of the park. He was kind, funny and most important he meet every one of my needs.

We had a really nice bathtub setup and shower, but the guys from Independent Home were calling around about the bathtub. Then we happen to run into them down in Missouri. The rep gave us a price and we did it. The gentlemen that did the install were really efficient did a real good job. I would recommend them.

We've been looking at walk-in bathtubs and were thinking about it for years. Our new walk-in tub is alright.The Independent Home team brought a left-handed model and what we needed was a right-handed one. So they went back and got one, brought it back and installed it quickly. The installers were good and they did a nice job. The biggest dissatisfaction is the water heater problem. We don't have a big enough hot water heater so we're wrestling with the decision on what to do about hot water. We weren't alerted to that problem at all. So I'm a little disappointed in that.

We’re very happy with the product of Independent Home. But the gentleman that installed it left a few things undone that had I not caught, could have possibly caused water damage to our floor under the unit. I had to do a lot of extra caulking because without a shower curtain around the tub when it bubbles, the water would have gone over the top and right down the back by where it was installed into the windowsill where there was a half-inch gap all the way across it. The installer was amenable. He and his son were kind, happy, and generous. They did what they needed to do but I don’t know if it was a time constraint or they just missed it. But that was the only complaint that I had about the whole thing. The rest of the stuff they did was excellent.

Out of all the tubs I researched, Independent Home seemed to be the only logical one to go with because their parts are made right here in the United States. So I figured that if we had a problem, we could get it taken care of a lot faster. It'd probably be a better deal. And when I talked to them, they were all very nice. The man that came to our house explained it all to us. We thought he was great and he did a good job. They also got us a finance plan that agreed with what we needed. We're enjoying the tub so far. I've had people who asked me about the tub because I put it on Facebook and I've recommended Independent Home.

We initially wanted to go to Costco and buy a tub, and then get somebody to install it. But Steve said he would do all of that. We also wondered about the warranty for the tub, and he went to Brian who told us that it's a lifetime one so we felt comfortable getting the tub from Independent Home. They also worked with us on the price. My mother got the one with the double motor and the threshold was four inches and she liked it. Installation took a little longer than we had anticipated but he got it in and was done by the time Sabbath came around, which was important to us.

The Independent Home dealer was wonderful before I bought the tub. But after I’ve purchased the tub, I have not been able to get them to send me any papers. This is something I bought for my mom and I have to justify it to my brothers. I also have to have stuff for the accountant and I want my lifetime warranty that they promised me. I’m not real pleased about that and I am still waiting. The shower dripped occasionally too and I have no idea why. So altogether, I’m not the happiest person I might be. I would not recommend them.

I checked out Independent Home online and liked their price. I got the Acrylic Deluxe as it had all the features I wanted, and I love it. The purchasing experience was very good, and the installation was outstanding.

I like my Independent Home tub. I've seen walk-in tubs advertised before but then a fellow came by at the right time advertising them as I had been thinking about getting one. He showed me pictures and that’s how I got to talking to him about it. I had a garden tub before and I have problems with my legs, so it’s very neat where I don’t have to climb over a big tub. I went with Independent Home mainly for the cost and time and got a model that works well for my manufactured home. Purchasing the tub was an easy process and the installation people were really nice. The only thing is that it takes a lot of water and I run out of hot water. My youngest son has moved in with his family so I have extra ones and we have to really be careful with the hot water. Still, it saves some of the water since it’s easier for me to get in there and take a quick shower with it. I don't know where I can get more of the bottles of oil to put in there though.

I like the idea that there weren't too many bells or whistles that could go bad with Independent Home, and I like their price. The tub I got seemed to suit our purposes and it works fine, but the installation could have been done more professionally on the back wall. The finishing on the back board looked very unprofessional and cheap. The tub is very good and I'm happy with it, but I'm unhappy with the installation and I'm going to have it done again. I spoke to the main office in Long Island, then they got me in touch with the area supervisor and the installer called me back. I was trying to find this type of wall board that will fit properly so I can have the installers do it for me.

We purchased the tub from Independent Home and their dealer was very good. I wasn't home when the installation team came but they made a mess. They cut a hole in the floor to go to the drain so I had to make a patch to put in there. That was a pretty bad judgment on their part.

Our experience with Independent Home was very pleasant and satisfying. The installers had a problem that day but they resolved it. They came from Olympia and the traffic that day was terrible so they were late coming. But other than that everything was fine.

We got an Independent Home tub for the price and put in a new hot water heater at the same time because they wanted to make sure we were gonna be able to fill the tub. However, we have to wait 10 to 15 minutes about three times in order to actually fill the tub and be able to use the jets. We also received the shower curtain rod, but never received the shower curtain. The guy who installed it told me that there was a modulator that needed to be put on it yet and said when we got it, to call and let him know and he’d come and put it in. But we’ve never gotten it. Plus, he told us we’d receive paperwork from GE Financial and we’ve never gotten that either.

Somebody called me from Independent Home's office and that was the first time I had somebody out here to talk to me about walk-in bathtubs. My purchasing experience with them was easy and their installation team were very good. I had a fairly small area so I didn’t think they could get a tub in there. So, I had lost a part of an entryway closet but they explained that to me before they tore into it, and made sure I understood and it was okay.

Independent Home said the things that I wanted to hear so I purchased a Walk In Tub from them and I like it very well. I had knee surgery recently so I like the fact that I can sit down in there. That way, I can usually dance aerobic exercise in the water. My purchasing experience was easy and their installation team was great. However, the caulking around my bathtub started cracking afterwards. So I called their rep and he told me to get a man to come in here and do it and send him a bill. So I got someone in here and it’s held up good. I’m just waiting for them to send me the reimbursement.

We're very pleased with Independent Home. The people that installed the tub knew what they were doing. There's just a couple of little things that they didn't get right, but I hadn't called them because I can take care of it. We've just used it a couple of times and we're still able to take showers. When they installed the tub they also placed some higher toilets in, the ones that don't use so much water when they flush, and the things in the showers to hold on to. Whatever we wanted, they took care of them for us. Everything is going good. I got our salesman Jack's phone number so if there was anything that I really need to talk to him about, I just call him.

My boss has seen a commercial for walk-in tubs and he called the number. His son-in-law and son looked at all consumer reports and tried three different companies then they went with Independent Home because they had better comments. The salesman came in and stayed for quite some time. We had to wait for my boss's daughter and son-in-law to come back and they talked. He explained everything to all of us and then said, "Okay, you guys give me a call". Within that day, the son went ahead and called him and set it up. The two repair guys came the next day and it was pretty good. They came in and looked at all ways to get in and get out and really talked to us.

The Independent Home salesman who came by was very nice and upfront with everything. It was a good experience dealing with him. The price was one reason why I chose them. I got their biggest tub because I'm a big guy. We had an appointment with the installers but they called and confirmed that it was going to be on a certain time on a certain day. They called that morning before they came out to let me know they were on their way. There were interactions through the day if they or I had any questions. They answered my questions to my satisfaction. They were also courteous and they didn't hold back any information. We're happy with the performance of the tub. It's a good purchase and we're very satisfied.

Independent Home was the fastest to get back to me among other manufacturers. I bought cubicle model because I was limited on space and I love my tub. Purchasing the tub was a pretty good and painless experience. Though I would’ve liked to have gotten just a little bit more information, but I did get that from the contractor that put it in. He had a small space to work in and he didn’t complain once. He just took care of business, and he was great. I've already recommended Independent Home to several friends.

My existing tub was a very unusual and I was very impressed that they were able to put in a walk-in tub and I really enjoy it and I couldn't be happier.

The installation team did a fine job and the salesman was very nice. However, he said the tub only took 30 gallons but I have a 40-gallon water heater and it takes all of that. Still, it's not enough water. There were also a few questions I asked him that he didn’t know the answer to and had to call the office.

My walk-in bathtub from Independent Home is fine, but it didn’t come with the silver thing in the hole. I made a good purchase and a good deal, but I'm not satisfied with the silverware that’s not in the tub. I'm very dissatisfied with my experience.

I got the 30-gallon bathtub from Independent Home. It’s a little bit difficult to get used to but it works good. I couldn’t get in and out of a regular tub, and my new tub is something I could just walk in and sit down on.

We got an Independent Home walk-in bathtub and wanted one with the door that swings out, the handicapped one, but it’s not the one that was put in. I was supposed to be there when the tub was put in but we happened to be out of town and my brother was there to oversee it. They came and the guy said that the tub wouldn’t fit in there right because I had a cabinet and it won’t swing out the door itself far enough. So, he ended up installing the one where the doors swings inwards. It would’ve fit because we measured but, bottom line, my dad loved the tub and so we decided we’re not gonna rock the boat at this point. It might end up totally being better for him in the long run because he likes that and he’d probably end up opening the door on it with full of water.

I have fibromyalgia and I have a bad back and so does my husband. I saw that, and it looked like from what the people said on TV, that the walk-in tub from Independent Home might be the one that we would want. And I thought we would try and see and we liked the man that we talked to very much. He came out and measured and explained. We asked questions and he was very good. I was in such need, with so much pain, that the man got it installed a lot quicker than normal. He was wonderful. The men that installed it were very good too. I really like our tub very much. I just got out of the hospital two days ago and my legs are so bad. But I got in my bathtub yesterday and it helped so much.

I liked the product Independent Home had and the price was good. The bathtub the sales rep showed us suited my mother's needs. It was a very smooth and easy purchase but the only thing I didn't like is that I needed to call the next morning if I've made a decision and give him a credit card over the phone for a $1,000. But their people were prompt in responding and their servicemen showed up on time. The installers, a father and son team, were professional, friendly and did a really good job. The tub got done when we needed it done. It was good working with Independent Home. My mom uses the tub a lot and is really happy with it.

I'm very well-pleased with my Independent Home walk-in tub. I got proposals from two other manufacturers, but I bought from Independent Home since they have a better price. I did some research and thought the hydrotherapy quality of the model I got was superior to others. I had a salesperson from Independent Home come out. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. I had a very good relationship with him. The installer was also very competent and did a good job. Everything went fine. They're very good, and I have no complaints.

My son had a gentleman redoing his kitchen and I asked him about the bathrooms. He said he didn't do that kind of work but he said he would pass my name onto Independent Home. Several days later we got a phone call and they asked if we're interested. I said we were and they came out. The salesman showed us all the features on it and we discussed everything, and the one I went with got the jets and the shower attachment. He was very knowledgeable and polite and his presentation was nice. It was a good experience from start to finish. It's working like it's supposed to and they did everything they were going to do. They were on time and did the job well. The bathroom looked nice when it was finished.

After receiving a couple of quotes from other companies I gave up on being able to afford a tub. Then I tried Independent Home. From the very first time I spoke with someone I felt at ease. I met with the salesman and it was the same feeling. The installers were wonderful as well. Courteous and respectful. My bathroom looks better than before and I love my tub.

My brother and I wanted to put in a bathtub with jets for my mother who is 92 years old. She has trouble walking, has a bad hip and is in constant pain. We interviewed a number of companies and then Ari came to moms home. We felt right at home with him. Not a pushy salesman. He listened, had no hidden costs and delivered what he promised. We call, he answers... We text, he answers. Terrific man... Terrific company.

I sat down with my plumber, was talking with him and somehow we ended up going with Independent Home. Buying the tub was quite easy - the salesman pretty well took care of my buying, advised us, and I was fully satisfied with his procedures and what he did. The only problem I ended up with was that it took me more than 10 days to get my tub hooked up. For my warranty to work, I had to have the tub completed, send that warranty card in within 10 days but I didn't have it hooked up, so I don't have that warranty - that was one thing that I regretted. Nevertheless, so far, Independent Home has been good.

The Independent Home rep showed us two models. We didn’t want to spend money for the more expensive one so we got the smaller one with the jets. The features it had worked wonders as we necessarily need it. Salesman was knowledgeable and pleasant. He was here on time and answered all our questions. The installer, Kevin, did the entire installation himself and did a wonderful job. He was the most amazing.

We bought this bathtub because it has jets and a seat, and everything on it. Purchasing the tub was really easy and the installation went great. Perfect!

I am not disabled nor in my golden years so many have asked why I purchased my celebrity series walk-in tub. I want to be ready for those golden years and I absolutely love my tub!! I regret not getting it sooner! I feel so much better after a long soak in this tub! It was installed in ONE day and very professionally done! Several people that visit come with their own towel and ask if they can use my tub! They love it too!! I highly recommend Independent Home if anyone is considering a purchase for a walk-in tub! I've told my daughter I was thinking about getting a walk-in tub. Independent Home had certain types of credits off of the amount and it was quite a large amount. When they came in the neighborhood, their salesperson shared information that there were different programs that can be costly. But he wasn't high-pressure or threatening. Other plumbers would put things in, add these other parts that need to be completed and a carpenter would come and do repairs or put everything else together again, but they said they would do all of the work including putting everything together, so I got a deal with that. I was very pleased with the presentation.

An Independent Home salesman came by and visited me, and I expressed interest but I said I could only do it if I could get an equity loan on my house. I tried to do that but I got turned down. Then when I said that I had to cancel, Independent Home said they would finance it for me and they did. It took them a day to install the tub and they did a good job. Also, all the people I've dealt with have been top-of-the-line and were extremely nice, including those who I talked to on the telephone that I didn't meet.

I’m in the medical field and I’m at home on oxygen 24/7. I initially bought the walk-in bathtub because I have a son who has right-side hemiparesis from a head injury. I don’t want him falling and he’s already fallen in a regular tub. I’d gotten an estimate that was outrageous several years ago and I didn’t feel like fooling around with a bunch of estimates so I decided to call Independent Home to see what they had. I knew what I had to spend and what I was willing to pay for and I got a tub that fit what I needed and the space I had. The installation team was a nice bunch of men. I’d recommend Independent Home to anybody who’s willing to put one in.

My husband has Parkinson’s and I thought Independent Home would be a good fit. It's now easier for him to get in and out of the tub. It wasn’t exactly what I envisioned, but the installer got it to work. He's really good. We're interested to know how do we check for leaks though.

Independent Home walk-in tub is very sturdy and I've seen how it's made. They also have local crews, or at least a travelling crew, that was very good. In addition, the price was competitive. The salesman came and I asked him a lot of questions because I had researched it a bit but he had an answer for everything. The only thing that was unnecessary was he pushed pretty hard to have a glass sliding above the tub. That didn’t make a lot of sense because the sooner you’d have to slide one down in order to get in and slide it again, it's an extra expense that's not worth it. The flexible screen or curtain rod type deal is as good as anything that’s very good. But outside of that, he knew his job, very personable and a good guy.

We’re very happy with our Independent Home tub. Their rep was very professional and showed us everything. We liked it and went with it. He represented their product very well and very convincingly. Being an ex-salesman myself, I was impressed, so he deserves a lot of kudos. The installation people were also very nice, helpful and quick. They did a good job, and we’re very satisfied. I am not particularly happy with the toilet, but it's okay. I would upgrade it a little bit. It’s size is the same as what I had in Reno, but it’s not as functional. It’s a cheaper model. I wouldn’t buy it if I went into a store to do it.

Ari ** the owner of the company himself and not a salesman came to my home to discuss all aspects of the installation, as well as an in-depth explanation on how every function of the tub operates. After meeting with the salesmen of two other walk-in tub companies, this was a welcomed visit by Ari. The installation crew were gentlemen the entire time and left my house in perfect shape. For anyone considering a walk-in tub, this is the company to go with!!

I had the salesman from Independent Home come out and I like what he said because they have one, too. He was very nice and did a good job. I've only had the tub for about a month now and though it took a little while to get used to it, I'm very happy with it. I would recommend Independent Home.

We have a Roman tub which is close to 2 feet deep and my wife is 5 feet tall and at a point in time I said, “This is not safe. You're stepping onto a tile floor out of that bathtub and you're going to slip and fall." Independent Home was a little more personable and gave me a better deal than other companies so we went with them. We got a 5-foot wide walk-in tub from them and had it placed in the guest bathroom. They did a nice, quick and professional installation on it. We tried it once and it works just fine.

I have seen Independent Home advertised and I wanted one at some point. When they came out and talked to us about it, it sounded so good. He said he'd get more of a discount knocked off if I signed up for it while he was telling about it. Several months ago, I got in my tub and I couldn’t get out and so my daughter called 911 and they came and got me out in just about three minutes. I didn’t sit down in the tub to soak any more. But that’s when I started thinking about getting one of these tubs and so we decided to get one. I really like it so far. Last night, my sister spent the night with me because she’s having plumbing trouble at her house and so she got to try out my tub. I asked her how she liked it and she said she wishes it was over at her house. It's all very nice and I'm really proud of it.

Purchasing my walk-in tub was easy. I went on the internet, checked out Independent Home and signed up, and somebody called me back. They told me they had a certain model which somebody didn't want but it would fit into my space, so I agreed to that and asked for a discount. The installation team was great. However, the tub has that aromatherapy thing, but there was nothing in there to figure out how to buy more of them. Independent Home told me to call the company that’s on bottles, but they had no idea what I was talking about. Plus, they offered a catalog or something to where I can buy.

I had a liver transplant so it's hard for me to take a bath and have a shower. The sales rep from Independent Home came out and talked to me about everything and then told me what the payments would be. I was in Dallas at that time of the installation doing an evaluation for the liver transplant, but when I walked in at home everything was wonderful. I like that I have a choice between the shower and the bathtub. They told me not to use the bubble bath and it's an effort not to use it. They also left me with two little bottles that had aromatherapy in it, and I'd like to get some more of that.

I had a very pleasant experience purchasing my bathtub from Independent Home. The rep brought this book in and I looked at it and read. My son said that I need to go ahead and buy one, so I bought it. I got the standard model because it's the one that could fit in my bathroom. The installers were very nice and did a good job. I tell whoever comes to see me about Independent Home.

I had broken my leg and had to have back surgery. I was thinking that a walk-in tub costs too much for what you get, but I like my Independent Home tub and it has really helped me. I could sit and go to sleep in it, and it’s so easy to get in and out of it. The sales representative was a very nice guy and the installation team was very careful about bringing stuff in across the carpet.

We had a different tub and my wife was having trouble getting in and out of it. We got Independent Home and we're enjoying it. It has water jets on it. The installation team was good and did everything they said they would. However, we have a little trouble with the drain on it. It doesn’t open up real easy when it's full of water.

I told Independent Home I wouldn't pay one of those crazy prices that they were asking for to install the tub and they said that they'd send a man over to talk to me about it. I told him how much money I had and he took me up on it. He also explained to me about the tub, said he can have it installed and so he wrote it up and we made a deal. I got the 28x48 because it's the only one I could get in the bathroom. I couldn't get the others through the door.

I've wanted to get an Independent Home tub. The next-door neighbors got one and I told them to send the guy over and they did. It's convenient because I got it very quickly and the purchasing process was very easy. The installation team came and put it in very fast and I really appreciate that. We bought a tub with a very wide door. My husband is handicapped and this model's easy to get him in. He has global anoxia and has a hard time standing. We have a handicap shower and it's been so great to sit him in there and know he's not gonna fall. I can stand right next to him, bathe him, and he enjoys it.

Purchasing the walk-in tub from Independent Home was very easy. The salesman who told us about the tub was brand new and didn't high pressure us. We felt like we were getting a very expensive product but we’re getting a good deal from Independent Home. We were able to get good discounts with it through the Veterans. The installation team which was composed of a gentleman and his two helpers were here right on time that morning like they said they would be and finished at 4:00 o'clock that afternoon and walked us through it. Because we live in a manufactured home and our door wasn't very large, they took out the window of the bathroom where the tub was and everything went in and out through that window. I had asked them if they would mind taking out our shower too aside from the garden tub and they did. They were very respectful, worked right along and did a great job including cleaning up. Everything went very nicely.

Independent Home contacted us about their walk-in tubs. We thought about it then had them come and talk to us. With their warranties and everything, we decided to go with them. We got the deluxe model and because I've had two back surgeries we wanted the jets in the tub with an easy access to it. We got that and it's helping my back issue. It's also very easy to get in and out of the tub. When we were purchasing the tub, the sales representatives were all very easy to work with if we have a problem. Then installation of the tub was above any installation I've seen in the walk-in tubs. The team that installed it was very thoughtful. They laid down drop cloths in the hallway, vacuumed up the hallway and were done in less time than they said that they would be. The backboard is beautiful and the caulking was professional. I'm amazed at the wonderful job they did.

As an educated consumer I have been accused of being obsessive about "doing my research". The fact that this purchase of a walk-in tub was for my mom made me be even more diligent. Everything is great with our walk-in bathtub. It helps with my arthritis and I'm happy to have it. My husband loves it, too. I wanted a walk-in bathtub but couldn’t afford it. Independent Home was in our price range so we decided to give it a try. The model of the tub that we got had everything we wanted and I still got my shelf. We have a very small bathroom and it fits right in there.

A man from Independent Home called me on the telephone and he was nice. I asked him to give me a price, he did and I told him to put in the walk-in tub. He sent some men to install it, I paid them, and they left. They did a good job and answered every question I had. He said to turn the water on, flip the switch, sit in the tub, and don't open the door until it's all drained out.

The Independent Home sales rep convinced us with the model of the tub that we bought. He also answered our questions and everything went fine. Purchasing it was easy. The installation people came in, did their job, showed us the instructions on how to run it, and then left. The only thing is that my husband cannot get completely immersed in the tub while he's sitting there, but, other than that, we're happy with it.

We bought the Celebrity walk in tub over 5 years ago. The installation was done in a few hours and the job looks today just like it did when the job was done. Our installers left the bathroom cleaner than when they went in I do believe. Those that 'borrow' the tub when staying with us are still impressed. We've used the tub almost daily and it still looks like new. After viewing a Premiere walk in tub our neighbor paid a lot more for, I'm sure we got the best product at the best price.

I like my Independent Home tub. After listening to what the salesman said, it sounded right for me because I can't walk good enough. I got the tub with the door in the front, a seat, and a balance bar where you can stand up and grab hold to if you need help. It's easy to shower and bathe in it. I didn’t have to step way up high like in a regular tub. We didn’t have any problem when we purchased the bathtub. We called them, made arrangements about the payments and got it going on. The installation people were quiet when they were doing their job, but they were nice guys. It didn’t take them forever to put it in. I would recommend them because they were good.

My husband called Independent Home and talked to somebody that was helpful. We then got the air jetted tub that is 24 by 40 because it fits our needs. We installed it as my husband’s a contractor. Our purchasing experience went very well.

Independent Home had more of the things I needed and wanted. As far as reviews go, they're more of everything than most of the other ones. The sales reps were very nice. I had a couple and they were good salesmen. However, I was disappointed when they were gone and their part was over. Then there came another part that we've no longer negotiated with and had the people reinstalled it. Furthermore, on the installation, I was under the impression that I had to be satisfied and they were under the impression that they were doing what they were paid just to do and that was it. It was a pleasant experience but just like everything, there's just some things that can't work out with one end as it does with the other end. Nevertheless, I'm happy and would recommend them.

The salesman from Independent Home was very nice and if I had a company, I'd want him working for me. I was also very pleased with the installation team. They were very polite, explained how to use it and did a real good job. I like my experience very much.

A friend of mine who lives out of state had purchased an Independent Home Walk-in Tub a year ago and he told us about it and gave me their address and phone number. We got the Deluxe because it's bigger and my father is a big man and he liked it. He also likes the air jets and the hydrotherapy with it. The installers were also very nice and friendly.

Independent Home's walk-in bath tub is great and I really like it. The salesman was very thorough. He spent an hour and a half and we talked about the price. He showed me a lot of things that would tell me what a quality product it was so I'm well pleased with it. It was the best deal I could get. My bathroom is so little that it had to be the style that replaces the shower and it worked out great. They did a really good job.

My daughter was worried about me trying to get in and out of my tub so she called Jacuzzi and made an appointment for me. Jacuzzi came and it was going to be $17,000. I could not pay that and I said no. Then Independent Home called in. They came and gave a price where I could see my way of getting it. The sales representative was very nice and a real person.

I wish my Independent Home bathtub was about two inches bigger, but that's neither here nor there. The salesman was very nice but the installation team could use some improvement. They took a set of decorative towels out of my bathroom and used some of my towels out of the closet without asking and those bath cloths are expensive. They could've gone to Home Depot or Lowe's and gotten some work towels but they didn't. However, it wasn't the head of the crew because he didn't know a thing about it. I didn't either until the crew was gone and it was this one guy that was with them that did it. I could tell by the way he was walking around and looking. Also, they didn't wear the little boots in the house like the salesman told me they would so I'm still trying to get my wood floors back up to par.

I saw that Independent Home makes their own products and their guarantee. The sales rep did a great job. He was really nice, polite, courteous and very knowledgeable. The installation team were superb and they tell exactly what was going on all the time. They had to cut a part of the wall out to get the tub in. And when they put that back, I can’t tell if it had been done. They knew what they're doing and did everything so meticulously, perfect, and they cleaned up. I would recommend it to anybody for the good job they did and how well they explained everything.

An Independent Home dealer came out and showed their product to us. We were going with the pros and cons of each one. We’re getting up in age and we wanted to be prepared. If we became incapacitated and having to be wheelchair-bound we wanted it to be accessible. We got the wheelchair accessible bathtub and we're enjoying it. It’s relieving my husband’s back. He gets out in the garden and then he gets into the tub. He is able to relax in using them. Additionally, the installers were a joy. They let us know exactly what they were doing and that there would be a lot of noise. We had a good rapport with them. We recommended Independent Home to our neighbor. She ordered and they have installed hers.

I got the biggest model Independent Home has because I'm pretty large myself. Their salesman was nice and very good. He sold me in one sight. The installation team was very nice as well and they are courteous men. I appreciate them.

Then they gave us time to think about it. We had already had some thoughts that we needed it since we're both 82 years old and getting in and out of the bathtub is tricky. Purchasing the walk-in tub wasn't difficult. It took us three weeks because we were at doctor's appointments so we had missed quite a few calls, but once we got where we could sit down and talk to their guy and have everything explained, we decided to go with it. My husband recently had hip surgeries and it was thought that the tub would help massage him and give him his strength back, and now he's already feeling a bit of a difference. Independent Home had a great installation team. They told us it would take four hours and it did, they were done and out. The tub is great, but in filling it up it has to go to a certain level before one can start on the jets. But other than that, my husband and I enjoy it. I would recommend it.

We were wanting a bathtub that was a little bit different than everyone. We wanted one with the door that opens out. We got older and bigger. We were worried about getting in the bathtub so I got us an Independent Home walk-in bathtub. The guys that put it in were really nice. We like it but we feel it’s an older model. When we see it on TV or the internet, they all look so much newer. The salesman, Larry, was very nice and tried to explain everything to us, but he didn’t offer any heated seats or colors. But he did say, however, that it'd be an extra $500 if we wanted the heated seat. It really was not that good and I didn't need it 'cause my bathroom is always warm.

Independent Home was the cheapest walk-in bathtub I could get and it's working okay. The salesman was persistent. I told him it’s too expensive. That’s the problem with them. It’s like hearing aids. Those dinky things are $3000, $4000, $5000, $10,000, and they don’t bat an eye. He said the tub was ordered by a doctor who decided he didn’t want it. So the doctor had paid some money on it but couldn’t get it back, and that was to my advantage. They were offering it for about $9000 at one point and I got it for $7000. The installation team did a good job, too.

I got an estimate for a tub about five years ago and I liked it then, but I couldn't afford it. Now, I have a lot of time. My husband passed away and I'm not working anymore. I felt that I needed a nice tub to live the rest of my years in. It'd take care of my sore back that I have had for years. The dealers for Independent Home were all very good. I like the whirlpool of the walk-in bathtub. Their people did a good job although my son says every once in a while the air goes through the lines. I talked to one of the managers the other day and he said to have my son call and explain to him what it was because I wasn't sure. We heard and noticed noises that we hadn't heard before. But otherwise, we love it. It's very relaxing and I show the tub to everybody that comes in. It's been a good experience.

The guy from Independent Home showed us a couple of things and we decided to have this one particular tub. It's what we wanted. The other one was a little bit elegant but it was $2500 more. Two men came over for the installation and they told me what they were going to do. They did the job in one day. They did what we wanted and they did a good job. I've first seen walk-in bathtubs in one of the AARP magazines and chose to have one from Independent Home for their price. I looked into one tub company and talked to two other places. They had to take off the door and widen it so they could get the tub in, and were just as careful as they could be. They cleaned up everything that they had to take down and put it all back like they found it. I'm handicapped, and they were exceptionally good to me.

Independent Home did an excellent job. I went with the design that fit the bathroom I was designing and I was limited on space. I installed the tub myself. It was shipped to Georgia and we put it in. Everything's been great. Several of my neighbors have looked at it and might be buying one for themselves. I love my Independent Home walk-in bathtub although my husband won't use it. The dealer and the installation team were both nice. I had to do a lot of calling but it all worked out. The tub is awfully small, though. Also, the pressure when I first turn on the hot water and the cold water to neutralize it is not much.

The model of the tub that I picked out from Independent Home was a larger type since I’m a large woman. Their dealer was very good and the installation team was fine. The only problem that we have is that they didn’t put any shower surround-type board up onto our wall and I don’t think our wall is going to hold up to the amount of water that the shower had put back onto the wall. I’ve been in contact with Independent Home twice now and I got the same gentleman both times. They keep telling me they’re going to get in touch with the contractor and put it in and this and that. But I hadn’t heard. So I contacted the contractor myself but they refused to come out and put up the 15-minute wall board because their office is four hours away from me. So I’m not too happy about that.

Independent Home's bath tub is wonderful. I love every feature of it. I'm old and I haven't been able to get in a bathtub for several years. It's nice to be able to do that again. The dealer was great too. I told him when he called that I couldn't afford it and he said, "Let's just come out and show you what we've got. It'll be all right." So I said okay and my niece was paying for it. It was a fantastic experience. I've recommended Independent Home to lots of friends.

We're highly delighted with our walk-in tub. I'm 84 years of age. My wife is 83. We're both getting to the age when it's a bit difficult to step into things, so we had thought for some time having been attracted by advertisements seen on television, to get a walk-in tub. The dealer was absolutely superb. The guy who came initially was a very nice chap. And then, when it was the day for installation, the two gentlemen that came to install took the whole day. It was from eight o'clock in the morning till eight o'clock at night for them to get it sorted out. They were very pleasant gentlemen. We had no bad experience with regard to the installation or the use of the tub following the installation.

The dealer I dealt with had such an attitude that I didn't care. But I like the guy who did the installation, which went very well. Overall, it was fantastic and I like the bubbles in the tub. Although, I haven't gotten a bill from Independent Home yet.

My bathroom is so small so I got a tub from Independent Home where the door was going to be left-handed. The dealer was wonderful and explained everything. I enjoyed talking to him. The installation team were very nice young men too. We joked around, and it was a fun time. Now, I'm enjoying the tub.

The tub seems to be okay. It's just the method on how it was installed wasn't what we were told it was going to be. The dealer was good. They came down and took pictures of our bathroom before the tub was even shipped. I was told that they're going to take the door frame out to get the tub in because we're getting a big one and we won't even know that they've been there. But when the installer came, he cut a hole in the wall and put it through. He had to mud it but he was only there for one day. Mudding a drywall is a three-day process. So after it was installed, we had other contractors working in our house finish the installer's job. They had to fix the drywall part of it and then repaint.

Independent Home sent a man here who showed me and talked to me about their products. He sat down with me and told me how the tub was going to be put in and how long would it take. He showed me showers, too, and I could’ve have put in one but what I wanted that time was to get underwater for a while. Although they're too expensive, the way he presented it to me made me buy the tub. Using the tub makes me feel good. I put salt water in it and it helps my legs. I've had multiple myeloma and the tub helps me. One thing I wasn't satisfied with is the little old piece of metal where the door shuts that aggravated me. It fell off into the tub the first time I used it but I glued it back there and it's now fixed.

Had my tub installed and everything went according to plan. I wish the faucets would have matched my other faucets in the bathroom but nothing I could do. Only option was chrome or some other color. My home was built 40 years ago and the faucets have never been changed. The installers were great and very clean in my bathroom. I will recommend the tub and company to family and friends.

On Oct. 29, 2015 I spoke with the CEO of Independent Home Step-In Tubs about the purchase of a step-in tub. He was very nice and took the time to explain to me how they were able to build custom make tubs to meet the needs of the customer. I was pleased with what he told me and agreed to meet with the local sales rep the next day to discuss our needs.

My mom needed a tub so we bought one from Independent Home. We got the one without the jets. The installers were fantastic and did a great job. If I have any problems, I’ll give them a call and they are right here to fix it. Overall, it was a good experience.

We were going to redo the bathroom and advertising call came and said that they had someone in the area that could come by. I talked to my husband who said to let them come by. They did and we liked it so we went with Independent Home and purchased a shower tub where one can sit down. The purchasing experience was real nice, pleasant and informative.

The Independent Home salesman was very personable and knowledgeable. The purchasing process went well. The installation team were very good, appeared knowledgeable, kept us informed and did the work in a day. It was a very easy and pleasant experience.

The initial tub that Independent Home put in wasn't big enough and didn't fit me, and on top of that, the work that they did was terrible. They tore up my house. They didn't put it back the way it was. They didn’t paint it and it was awful. Then they brought another tub and only one guy was installing it. His buddy was sick so the guy had to come do it all by himself. He was upset and was in a big hurry that he didn't do a good job. The tub squeaks because he didn't level it right. The big screws that tighten it up to the floor weren’t done right either. He put a crack in the wall and covered only part of it. So we're not happy at all. It was disappointing especially on how much we paid for it. I would not recommend them for a friend.

So far, I’ve only used the tub once. I’ve been very busy and haven't had the time to really enjoy it. I got the deluxe model bathtub from Independent Home. I considered another brand, which is the one that advertises all the time, and I talked with their guy and got the pricing. I then decided that what Independent Home is doing would be good for me and it's half the price. I did the purchasing over the phone and had no problem with it. I called a few times to see how things were going, and it moved along pretty well. Then I got a hold of the installer and talked with him over the phone a time or two. I was in Minnesota while the tub was being installed, and I had somebody watch my place. She said the installation team did very well and she was pleased with how they reacted. It was done in a very timely way. I was pleased that it worked out as well as it did considering the fact that I was not even around when it was installed.

We pbought a simple model walk-in bathtub from Independent Home and the buying process was fine. The installation team was nice and they're courteous and able to answer questions. The whole experience was pretty easy and even though it took a little longer than expected, they were quick.

When we purchased a tub from Independent Home, the teller that I talked to was very nice and answered all my questions. Then we got it in plenty of time and everything was there. We installed it ourselves and we're using it. However, we had to redo the whole bathroom and put marble on the walls. We got it solved and now it looks beautiful.

I'm very satisfied with my experience with Independent Home. I had a salesman come over and he presented the Life Tub case well. I ended up talking to one of their representatives at home and with the first day I decided to go ahead with them. The installation team did a wonderful job. I knew that they would have a problem finding an outlet to connect this tub up, because there was no outlet on that side of the wall and on the outside wall of the house. But they were able to locate an outlet on the inside of my wall in my bedroom and it came out better than I thought. They cleaned up everything and got matching tiles to put on the floor, which we're gonna go ahead and replace the whole flooring with. The installation of my toilet went well. I am very satisfied with the work that they did.

I got an acrylic bathtub from Independent Home. I’m unsure of the exact model name, but it has a radio, lights, air and water jets, as well as a speed drain. We had a bit of an issue, though, with the control panel from a Canadian company that sent the wrong one. It took them five weeks to send the correct one, and then it took time to get it to California so that it could be brought to Nevada for installation. There was a bit of a delay, and my bathroom was already demoed, so we were without a bathroom for quite a while. The man who was sent to do the installation was very good and very nice. The bathroom was cleaned up afterwards, and he did exactly what we paid for. I like the tub. I’m happy with it.

Getting an Independent Home Walk-in Bathtub was an easy move. I enjoyed talking with the sales rep. He was very nice. We liked the people that put in the tub. They were very nice when they came. They did everything very professionally. They were in and out sooner than we thought they were going to be (they came at eight o'clock and they were gone before one o'clock). We love our tub. It's nice to know that even though I couldn't get a shower through Independent, the young gentleman installer was a remodeler with a license so I could get him to come and do it.

Our old tub had a hole in the bottom of it and that was the big reason we got another one. We purchased the Independent Home walk-in bathtub model that opens up to the front. The model determined the price, but we knew what we wanted when we started so we went ahead. Their guys then tore our old tub. Overall, we still have a few wood trimmings that need to be finished in terms of installation, so I'm not really completely satisfied. But the tub itself is nice.

The Independent Home Walk-in bathtub that I got for my mom was good. She used it a couple of times although she didn't end up getting the model she wanted, one with a curved door and had more design to it. Instead, she got the latest model of the tub. But everything went smoothly. Their salesman explained everything and their installers were professionals and did their job in a timely manner.

They did everything they said they would do in the time they said they would. However, we're not happy with the tub because we don't have the water pressure and it takes too long to fill it.

I chose Independent Home over another specialty tub manufacturer because their price was better. I got the Deluxe model and purchasing it was pretty easy. We gave an approximately 50% deposit and paid the rest off when the gentleman installed the tub. In addition, the installation team answered all our questions, gave us an orientation and did a good job. However, the problem we're having with the tub is that the air jets don't work properly. They shut off after about four minutes when they should stay on for the entire tub. They sent a part out then they had somebody come and switch that part out. After they switched that part out, the problem was continuing exactly the same, and so we're in communication with the company to see how and what they're going to do to fix the problem. So, we're hoping that they're going take care of it.

Purchasing a walk-in bathtub from Independent Home was easy. I've been watching the ads and I called one of them, but it was way too expensive. However one of their guys came by and he explained to me why one tub didn't cost as much as the others. It's all made in America and that was one good selling point. I got a walk-in bathtub from them - not the cheapest one, but the next one up.

A lady friend gave me the name of Independent Home, the ad and the phone number of who to order it from. At the time they decided to deliver the tub, it was difficult with me because I had fallen and broken my arm. I got one arm that’s in a cast up to my shoulder and not able to use the tub even though it's there. I use it to get stronger, but I can't use the jets. They also had to tear up my door and put a new one. I don't have it taken care of yet. The ceiling in the bathroom was not done right as well. When they put the sides in, they damaged the ceiling. They said they had a lot of problems because my house is old. The installers were here an awfully long day until late into the night. They left around 10:00 and that's late for an old lady. I also haven't received the pillow I was supposed to get for the tub. I thought it would come when the tub was delivered.

A salesman from Independent Home came and showed me one of their product models and asked how I happened to know about it. I've wanted one for a long time. It was easy purchasing their tub, although I had to rake up together all the money I could to get it. I ended up paying $5,000 and owing $5,000. Everything went fine with the installation. However, I slipped into the plug-in the first day and hurt my toe, so I've been looking for a small mat to put in that. Other than that, it's going very well. Additionally, I put some Cascade dishwashing soap in it this morning and ran it for 15 minutes and then let it rinse for 15 minutes. That went well so it's okay. Overall, it's looking out well. I would recommend Independent Home to a friend. I was talking to one this morning and she perked up like she might be interested.

Purchasing the Walk In Bath Tub from Independent Home was easy because I knew I wanted it. We were settling on the price and the rep told me what I wanted and that was it. However, when they took out my old tub, it left a bare wall and they left it open. They totally finished off the tub very nice, but I think it's colder having that wall exposed like that. When I looked inside at the controls I could see that bare wall exposed. Their installation team very nice and courteous, but they didn't tell me about that exposed wall. I would have put something up to cover that wall so it wouldn't be so open.
