When the Rep came out he told us everything was made and done in house. Find out later this is not true. Waited app. 2/12 months for installation to start. When they did color was wrong and pattern. They also forgot shelves. Had to wait another 2 months and 10 days for these parts. Talked with manager about compensation for wrong color and pattern. Manager and Rep both denied any problems with color or design until I sent then pictures or What I ordered left by Rep to show family. Talk with higher up management about compensation, his reply was they would replace whole unit in another 2 or more months, c thanks a lot on give me 250 dollars for having wrong color and design. Want to use them, you chose.

When the techs came to put the product in, they didn't have the shower seat. Somehow the reps got confused and didn't put the shower seat in the order. When we told them about it, they were very nice. They were very hardworking and they clean up behind themselves. They mailed us a shower seat and now we're waiting for somebody to put that in. My husband doesn't want to void the warranty by putting it in himself. Because if we make a mistake, that's a lot of money. Other than that, they gave me a really good price for the product.

Everything went pretty good but I've got some seams where they puttied them that are cracked. I'm worried about the splits where they seamed the corners because that water gets in there. It'll leak down behind it. But the tub works pretty good. I'm still scared to go in there by myself, so I have somebody to stand outside the door while I'm in there. But they got pipes in there to grab. I was supposed to get a walk-in shower with sliding doors but I didn't get that. They said they couldn't put sliding doors on there.

Jeff and Autumn did a great job, arrived on time and were both very friendly. I am completely satisfied with the completed shower and experience with the company. They took extra care to make sure my house stayed cleaned and tidy throughout the entire process. We highly recommend Independent Home!

I purchased a shower. Three guys stripped out the old tub, prepared the walls, put in their product and put the shower together. The quality of the work was fine. But they didn't put back some of the molding they stripped on one side.

I got a walk-in shower from Independent Home and when their reps came, they did a fantastic job. The installers showed up around 8:00 in the morning and they were out of here by 4:00. I sat in the living room the whole time and I barely knew they were here. So far, the walk-in shower is doing very well and it matched up with everything. It's got this thing put in with tiles up the wall and they took those tiles out, then put everything in and it just fits right in there. There's the shelf on one end of the shower, then there's a shelf that's in the wall which is very nice for me to have my shampoo in. It's much handier. The seat's nice in there, too and the cat likes to get up on that seat.

The representative of Independent Home was excellent. We were well-pleased with his personality and mannerism. The installers were also excellent guys. However, we thought it would take one day to install. But they got here about half day because they came out of Charlotte and that's a two-hour-plus drive. So it took a little over a day. But other than that, we have no complaints. The guys was very nice and friendly. They cleaned up after themselves. The installer also told us, if we have any problems, to give him a call. I enjoy the walk-in shower. It's very nice. I really like my fold-down seat. They have it attached to the wall, but I can fold it down and up. I like that part instead of just a stationary seat that I couldn't move. I can't take this out, but it's just what I wanted.

I'm glad the rep wasn't a car salesman. He was very upfront with everything and he was able to home demonstrate the material that was gonna go in. And that was what showed up. The installers were quiet. They weren’t cussing and screaming and carrying on. I was able to expand the shower over the tub that we had. The walk-in shower is worth it but it's a little more to clean. I like that the knob stays hanging on the wall and the grab bars are still in place.

The Independent Home sales rep was very informative. The only thing was that he did not offer us any discount at all. I was a little bit concerned about that. So, we checked around other places and I called and they gave us a $500 discount on the outfit. When the representative comes in, he should be upfront about that. Our new walk-in shower is amazing. There were two fellas that came in to install. They came in around a little after 9:00 and they were done by 5:00. Everything was neat and they cleaned up. We used a dust rag to just pick up the little bit of dust there, but I did not have to use a sweeper. The workmanship was excellent. I was totally amazed. The product seems to be of good quality. We've had it since April. No water escapes at all when we're showering. The safety bars are in a good place. Everything's good.

I was contacted by Independent Home by a cold call. I am on the state & national do not call list and have not business association with this company which makes them contacting me illegal. However I needed to have my shower changed and agreed to let them give me a quote. They came and I agreed to have them do the work. The salesman told me it would be about 7 to10 days before they could start and was told that someone would be contacting me in a couple of days. I was contacted and told it could take 2 to 3 months because their supplier was running behind.
