The sales rep stayed out here for about five hours with me just talking. We laughed and talked and I loved him. Also, the installers did a tremendous job. This one guy who has been there the longest was the one that was doing all the talking and he was terrific.

Independent Home did a fantastic job. I liked the company's reliability, lifetime warranty, and price. The customer service reps were great. They really handled everything very professionally. Everything was done really well. The only thing is we thought our hot water heater was big enough to keep the water hot enough but I can get it about three-quarters full, and then it starts turning into ice-cold water. So, I'm gonna have to get a bigger hot water heater. Other than that, I love the tub. The jets are wonderful.

I appreciate that I didn't have to start my payments right then. Independent Home gave me time to put away some money and save up. Greg the rep had all the information that we had talked about earlier and he knew exactly what I wanted. It made everything go smooth and fast. The installation crew was quick and they cleaned up after themselves. They were really professional and they didn't disturb me at all. The tub is different from my other one as far as the jets are concerned. They don't have the jets to where you can turn on different parts when you are sitting in the tub.

Independent Home's sales rep was very cool because he casually mentioned that they had a finance program and I availed of that. But I knew I had the money to do it, so I didn't really bring it up when the guy came to set up the tub. I gave them 5,000 upfront, then I told them I was going to finance the rest of the other 6,000, and he got very upset by the fact that I didn't tell him that before he set the tub up. He was very unprofessional and and when he found out I didn't have $11,000 to give him right then, his whole attitude changed. He contacted somebody that was in his upline and the guy that I talked to ran a credit check while the guy was here. The credit check was approved and he told the installation guy to go ahead and complete the installation. But he was going to take it apart where I couldn't use it. So that guy needs to know a lot more about business.

The people were very kind and understanding and we're happy with Independent Home. The only thing that was a problem was the installers didn't come early in the morning. They came after 10:00. But it was because they had to go all the way to Orlando and pick up the tub. So they started a little late, and they ended late in the evening. But they did the job and we were pleased with what they did. But we didn't get enough hot water to fill it up over the jets. So we had to wait for the hot water. We have to put in a new instant hot water to get more hot water to fill the tub. But we have no problem using the shower until that gets installed. We have the product to put up, but we're having a little issue having it connected so we would get enough hot water to cover the jets. But we're dealing with that.

I liked what Independent Home presented. I was gonna get a walk-in bathtub earlier, but it’s too much money. I couldn't get one and I struck a good deal up with them, and I took it. I called them and they came out and we talked face to face. Their installers were very courteous and we talked quite a bit. That was a good conversation.

Our walk-in tub from Independent Home is working out well. I researched walk-ins for over a year and the price was outrageous. The companies ought to come in and give you a basic price for the top of the line and then start working it down with these promotions. Most of them do that except Independent Home. They didn’t because I told them that I had researched and I knew what I was getting.

I love everything about our tub from Independent Home. It's like having a hot tub but not having to deal with all the chemicals and stuff. I'm glad we got it. It's come in handy a lot.

The rep didn't push anything. They had a good deal and the tub came a lot faster than I expected. I'm completely satisfied. If something had to be changed, they changed it. The tub wasn't quite as long as the distance I had and they filled it in. So now I have a ledge and it's fantastic. The tub has been very nice so far.

My mom, who is 95 loves the walk-in tub. The reps were very nice and the installers were really good.

The salesman from Independent Home came by and demonstrated to me. He was very nice. I haven't been able to use the tub because I tried it one time and it turned cold when the water got to my knees. So, I had my grandson come and turn the heat up on the hot water heater because I wasn't gonna get another hot water heater. That was a new one. I haven't tried the bath part since then. I really prefer a shower, but the shower really doesn't have a lot of pressure and it really bothers me. Also, there's a dial in the middle of the tub and nobody will explain to me what it does. But other than that, I like it fine.

I believed the Independent Home sales guy that came out and made the visit and the lady that I spoke with about their tubs. They were honest and I felt good about using them to make the purchase. The installer came out in two days, did a great job, and cleaned up well. So, everything's fine. I got the tub for my wife. She likes it. The quality has been fine.

The main reason I bought this tub in 6-19 was because of reviews by Consumer Affairs and their promotion of Independent Home tubs 'because' of life-time warranty of parts and labor. Little did I know this was only as good as the paper it was written on. First of all, it says 'Lifetime Warranty' online and through C.A. BUT, when you receive your instructions and p/w with tub it states only one year! I verified this w/ Alan, VP of company who brushed off and claimed his secretary made a mistake w/ p/w. (1st Flag!)

We have recently had an independent tub put in our home. While the tub looks great we have not been able to enjoy the benefits of it. When we purchased it and had it installed, everyone from the salesperson to the installers told us that our 50 gallon water heater would be adequate and should have no problem filling the tub. It is not! While we can fill the tub about halfway with bath temperature water it will turn cold once you get the water to the seat. Now we are going to have to spend about $3,000.00 to upgrade our water heater to one that will actually fill the tub. Then we can actually enjoy the tub with all of its benefits.

Independent Home sent one of the representatives out and I spoke with him. He answered all of our questions pretty much. I did some more looking around. I finally ended up with him, and I've been very happy since. Three men came out for the installation, and they've got that thing down to a science. Everything was perfect. They did a great job. As far as the tub, quality is good. The features were everything we talked about. It's working very well for my needs. The whole transaction was handled very well and I'm very pleased.

I couldn't use the water tap faucet outside in the back. I contacted Independent Home and they said they would look into it. That was about two weeks ago. Other than that, the installation was great and the guys were super. I have the tub for about a month now and the quality seems to be good. The water pressure is not very good, but it's not bad. And it's easy to get in and out of.

Independent Home seemed like they were more responsible and less fly-by-night people. Also, the tub is guaranteed for life. Everybody that came through was good people, and they did the job good. They got here on time. It didn't take them very long to do the job. They did exactly what they said they would do. When they brought the tub in here, they set it up in my living room and had me get in it before so I would be satisfied with it. It was okay for what I needed it for. The guy that came after, where they had to cut the hole out of the wall, did an excellent job. I've hired him to do some other work for me. The only thing is that I’m a pretty big guy and the tub is a little tight for me. They could make it a little bit wider. But it’s okay. The bathtub is perfect. But the price is kinda high. A lot of people that need it could not afford it.

The installation guys were very friendly and took care to cover the carpet, and did not leave a mess. However, they didn't seal the drain holes that they cut, so when the wind blows, it comes in the house. I got up in the middle of the night, and I could see light coming up from the floor where the tub sits on the floor because they didn't seal things underneath there and the yard light was shining inside the house. They came back and sealed up those. Then the air that comes out of the jets when in the warm water was cold. I don't know if there is something I need to adjust. Other than that, the tub works great and exactly like it's supposed to. I love it. The problem that I'm having now is getting enough hot water in it because my hot water tank is small.

Independent Home had a good price and a good product. We love it. My husband likes the wave feature that it has. I just like to be able to get in and out of a tub. I'm very pleased about that.

Independent Home's rep came out for a visit to give me an estimate and I bought my walk-in tub from there. He did a good job and I bought the Destiny from him. Then, the installer guy came out, tore out the old tub, and put in a new one. It was pretty simple and I was very satisfied. So far, the tub does what I need and I like being able to sit down when I'm taking a bath or a shower. I've also recommended it to some people.

I like our Independent Home walk-in tub. The installers did a good job and we anticipated the destruction but they didn't go to a lot of effort to fix some other stuff. They ripped up a door jamb and put it back together afterwards. But they left gaps and my husband had to go back in and refinish two of the door jambs after they left. There were painting gaps as well because they had to do some cutting and carpentry. But we wouldn't give anybody a bad mark for that.

The sales rep was really nice, friendly, and seemed to know what he was doing. The installation took about three days and everything looks good.

The sales rep from Independent Home did a good sell but we had an issue where they were gonna try and raise the price when we had a contract. I called him several times and texted, and didn't get a whole lot of answer. All he had to say was that he was on vacation and that he understood our issue and would contact us as soon as he gets back. Finally, he called and decided to do a three-way with the manager who told me not to call the salesperson anymore. That was a little juvenile because all he had to do was tell me to call this number instead of the ignored calls and texts. They ended up going through with the contract that we both signed. We got the tub in one bathroom and the walk-in shower in the other bathroom. The installers were excellent and the quality of the product was good.

I had three people come out. Out of all three, the rep of Independent Home was the most pleasant. He was also very knowledgeable about their product, was willing to work with me as far as financing and understanding financing. It was a family effort to purchase the Independent Home for my mother and Independent Home went that extra mile in breaking down the different financing available to us. I also like their price.

Independent home sold my dad a $16,000 tub, took the old one out, busted it up and threw it away. I don't appreciate my dad getting taken advantage of. He was in a very bad situation. He couldn't get out of his chair but he wanted the tub. The salesmen should have assessed and be smart enough to ask instead of taking advantage of an 85-year-old man. He's gone and now we have this tub. Who's gonna pay for it?

The Independent Home rep had a more expensive tub he tried to sell and he covered up the less expensive price tag with his thumb. Also, the installers were very nice, did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. I like the door wider or swing-out. A swing-out door would be good. Other than that, the tub looked good.

Independent Home had the program that I wanted for the circumstances I live in. The first tub came but it was the wrong size. We rescheduled for two weeks later. On the day of installation, David led a team of three and it went smoothly. The tub met my needs very well. My concern was safety and it has allowed me to stay in my home. The fact that I can step three inches often, know that I'm safe getting in and out. The crew installed grab bars as well.

I talked to someone from Independent Home last week and I have a little problem that I need the service guy to give me a call. The lady said she would call them. But they haven't called me. Other than that, the sales rep and installation crew were both excellent. There are a lot of the normal bathtubs that people just turn them on and hop in. So, ours is a little better.

My husband called the place where we could get an Independent Home walk-in tub and we liked the way they brought it out as well as the way they talked to us about it. They also gave us good advice about which was a good one for us. When our tub was installed, the guys did a good job. They worked hard and explained everything. So far, I love our new walk-in tub. But we needed a better hot water heater and I wish I knew that ahead of time, because when we took a bath, the water wasn’t hot and was cold too fast. So, we had to get another hot water heater. Then we had to up the element thing to make it hotter. But it works great now and it’s been relaxing on my back and my legs. Since using it, my legs and feet are not as swollen as much.

The unit itself is excellent. It's working fine. My wife is getting great benefit from it. The only concern I have is I'm trying to get copies of the documents that I signed and I haven't been able to get them to send that to me. I have some, but they should have given them to me when I signed them. I shouldn't have to be going through what I'm going through to get them.

I was looking for an upgrade and Independent Home happened to come up. The salesman was nice and he explained everything. So, I decided to go for it and their guy installed the tub within a day. Although some other guys came by, they were undecided. But the second guy came and he was a little more experienced. So, he made it work. They could have made the entranceway a little wider but everything else seems pretty good. The tub is doing everything that the salesman said and since I got it, I'm getting a little more circulation in my legs and feet, so I'm pleased. I had family that came down and when they used it, they were pleased with it, too.

I bought the tub because my wife enjoys taking a bath and she’s at that age when we’re not able to get in and out of a conventional bathtub. I got the Supreme model from Independent Home and the reps did a great job. I'm pleased with the result which I got. The only problem is that the water pressure at my sinks is very low now but the water pressure on the tub is strong.

The people that came out here were wonderful. They were very professional and I appreciated that. They spent most of the day doing the job because they had a lot of stuff they had to do and more to do that this isn’t a typical area than they did in a normal area. But they got the tub in and I'm very, very happy with it. I should have had it long ago. I have a problem walking and my leg definitely needs massaging, and the tub is ideal.

Independent Home had a girl install our walk-in bathtub. She installed it all within a day and a half and I was pleased with the way she did it. I'm satisfied and happy with the way everything went and even with the salesman I talked to at first. He explained everything. The warranty is a lifetime, too. Now that we have the product installed, it’s pretty easy for my wife to take a bath. She enjoys it okay.

The reps were good. However, we didn't get what we thought we were gonna get. We were supposed to get a shower but our tub was set in between the back wall and another wall. So, they took the little wall out completely. I was thinking they were gonna use that wall for the shower and if they did, they would have to do something like move the wall a little bit or move something next to the tub to hang the shower head on. Other than that, they did a really good job. They didn't leave a mess. The walk-in tub is in and it looks good. It helps our aches and pains. Plus, it's a lot easier to get in and out of. We just didn't get a shower.

My experience was lovely. I feel good about my walk-in tub from Independent Home. Everybody needs one.

Independent Home put the tub in for my size to match me. They decided to go with a bigger tub. It took them a few days, but they had a lot to do. They had to go in from the side of the house. It was probably one of the hottest days of the year that they did it but they're on top of it, and I'm pleased with the installation. As far as the tub, I like the bubbles, the jets and being able to kinda float. It's all good. The quality is there. I'm more and more happier with it than I thought I would be.

There's been several things that I've had to do in terms of some of the purchasing and Independent Home has been very helpful. The installation was excellent as well as the quality of the tub.

The installation went smoothly and the guys were nice. But the walk-in tub is too straight up and down. You can't sit back and relax. You should have your feet up and stretched out in front of you and you can't do that in there. I have a lot of pain in my back so I wanted something that was comfortable that I could get in and I don't have a problem getting in and out a tub, which was why I'm upset that I got one and didn't get a Jacuzzi. As far as the service and where everything is concerned, Independent Home did a good job but I wish we hadn't gotten it. If I could, I'd rip it out and get myself a Jacuzzi but there's nothing you can do about it once you get it in. People need to do some research, which I thought I did, but the salesman was very good.

The rep was very knowledgeable and I had a very good experience. The installers cleaned up after themselves and told us how to use the tub. The guy was good. I got the walk-in tub from Independent Home which has the jets and the shower bracket. You can moderate the strength of the jets and we have the feature where you can put the little tubes in for the aroma. Plus, I love the safety features of not falling.

I have a lot of health issues so we started looking at walk-in tubs about two years ago. We looked at Safe Step and something that was local. Price-wise, they compared to Independent Home. But the quality wasn't there. Francis with Independent Home came out and walked us through things. He did measurements and got us approved. The whole experience was good. Our first tub that was supposed to come got damaged so we had to wait an extra two or three days for them to ship another one. Installers came when they said they would and they put in the walk-in tub in the two days like they said they would. They got it all together and it’s wonderful. But it would have been better if there had been some way for me to have gotten in and out of the tub before it was installed. But it was already in the house and set up before I got to try to get in it.

The beautiful tub from Independent Home has given me my life back. I fell twice in the shower and wasn't looking forward to the third one. So, I had to do something. I'm taking care of myself, and I'm doing pretty good at it. Independent Home put this in front of me and I brainstormed it and went, "That's what I need." It makes my bathroom look awesome. It’s cool. The sales guy was like Superman. He was really awesome. I wish I had about five more homes, so I could buy five more tubs. I tell everybody that that's what they need.

The installers did an excellent job. There was a little hiccup in a couple of places that didn't pan out, not from an installation’s perspective but on the preliminary side, but the issues got resolved. The quality of the walk-in tub is good. In fact, I gave a big kudos to the installations crew. That was the best part of the experience, especially when the first time they delivered the tub, it didn't have the features that I had. They didn't hesitate to say, “Well, we're gonna get you the right tub,” and they corrected that.

The installers were here for a long time and they cleaned up their mess and did a good job. We liked the representative that we were dealing with and the tub is excellent. We like the jets.

We like the tub. My husband really likes it when he gets in it. He also likes the jets and seat in it. We were hoping it had heat in it, but it didn't. We've got the wave, the down, the up, and the heat on it. We asked for the panels that go up the ceiling, but this one doesn't do that. It went part of the way up the wall.

The installment crew helped me out. I had some electrical questions on a different plug and they knew more about it than I did. They told me what I needed to do so they gave me more information. Everything’s good so far. I like the jets in the tub too. I've already recommended Independent Home.

I asked if there were certain amenities I can choose not to have and the Independent Home rep said no. I wasn't told there were different models. But I like the tub. It works great. I have the six water jets, the air jets and the light therapy as well as the aroma therapy. We might change the showerhead and get a little bit of better pressure on it. Also, we’ve been having some small problems with the surrounding stuff that was installed with tub and the way they had to fit the shelf in there. When the installer first put it in, the tub to the wall is about eight inches and we built a shelf there. But he built the shelf lower than the tub. So water would collect in that. It was about a half inch deep. So, I had a little tool, about six feet long, eight feet wide, and a half inch deep. I called and the guy put in another piece of masonry board in there. Then, he put another piece of surround on top and caulked it down.

We got the model that Independent Home showed us and we liked it. The guy who sold the walk-in tub to us was nice and when the workers came, they were very polite and enjoyable. They were done in about eight hours. I'd recommend Independent Home.

The sales visit from Independent Home was very informative. It made me understand it better. It took a few days before the tub was installed because the installers were busy. But the day that they came to install it was the only day they needed. I need to soak in the water because of my feet and legs, which was the main reason I got it. The main thing that concerns me is getting in and out of the tub. I have to step up a good step to get into it. But I am pleased with the difference I have noticed in my legs and feet.

The sales rep from Independent Home was a nice guy and the guys who installed it, a father and son team, did good too. It didn't take them long even if they did a lot of modifications. They were professional. We love the tub. It’s a lot safer for my wife. She used to get in the tub and go to sleep but now that she's sitting up, I am not going to worry about her drowning in it. Overall, it's a very good experience.

The installers who put in the tub were fabulous. They were very neat, fast, and efficient. I sat here in awe. Also, they explained everything to me. I like the fact that I don't have to get all the way down into the tub and that I don't have to step over. I had a very high tub before and stepping over it was hard.

The installers were really good people. Everything has been okay since I had the walk-in tub installed.

When the sales rep came in, he did real good and I love the way he talked to me. The installers finished the installation in one day. I went to sleep and when I woke up, they were through. The quality of the tub is great. I love the whole thing.

Their reps did a good job and I like the walk-in tub. If a friend asked about it, I'd tell them they need to get one.

The sales rep from Independent Home was great and he does his job well. The installers were fabulous. They did a good job. Our walk-in bathtub has all the bells and whistles. I like being able to fill the tub up. I like the air jets, too. As far as the lights and the aromatherapy, I could care less about that. I just needed this step-in bathtub. I'll tell my friends to get one, too.

Installation was good. I had a large jacuzzi tub before and there was a hole in my floor that the new tub did not cover. The installers put a piece of plywood down over the hole so I wouldn't fall or step in it. The tub is good too. When I first tried it though (right after I got it), I called and told Independent Home that I have a problem slipping on the seat. The rep said, "Oh, okay. I'll send you out a cushion," but I haven't seen a cushion since then.

I love my walk-in tub. It had a fold-out door instead of a fold-in door. I use the air jets a lot and I really enjoy that. I haven't filled it up high enough to use the water jets. The nice part about it is that I can wash my hair so easily. However, the insurance company won't pay for it. Also, installers went in and out and they left considerable dirt and stuff at the front door. Other than that, they did a fabulous job. All in all, I'm very happy with it.

The rep was wonderful. I had two other bathrooms to look at and didn't know which one I was gonna be able to put it in. He checked it out. So, that was good. The installation team was very good and the one who was bringing the tub in was careful. I didn't have any problems with them. They were very personable and worked hard from the time they got here to the time they left. I like the tub and I also like that you could use the showerhead. Plus, you don’t have to worry about sitting in dirty water although I’ve had one trouble with the bathtub since I got it. I couldn’t get the drain plug to stay down. I’ve called Independent Home and they're supposed to come out and check on them.

The sales rep from Independent Home was great as well as the installation. The two guys who did it were nice and it took them no time at all. We needed the walk-in because we’re handicapped and this makes it so much easier to get in and sit down and take a shower or a bath. I like the shower part because that’s easier for us to do. It's convenient for us and we enjoy it.

The Independent Home rep was very nice and I got an expensive tub which cleans itself and has a smelly thing into it. I like it. I live in a mobile home so the hot water tank isn't all that big and I can't fill the tub all the way up with water. But other than that, it works out fine. It's enough water. The people who did the installation was very good. They took away the old tub so I didn't have to worry about that. They put the boarding and fixed up the siding and the bottom of the tub. They did a wonderful job putting it in.

The walk-in bathtub from Independent Home works fine, but it empties slow and fills up slow too, which is what I don’t like about it.

I got muscle and back problems. And I thought that Independent Home's walk-in tub would be good for arm muscles and joints. The techs operated them, worked fast with it, and got it in in three hours. The installation was very efficient. The two times that I’ve been in the tub, I feel relaxed and good after I get out. That lasts until I start moving around again. It makes me feel good for a little while.

I got to where it’s hard for me to step down in and get out of the bathtub. Independent Home came and they told me all about the tub. It was great. With this one, I just have to barely step in and step out. I love it.

The one that installed the Independent Home tub was very professional. It’s just not exactly what I wanted at that time. But it’s okay. I’m using it. And it’s doing what it's supposed to do. I like it because I can take a bath, whereas I couldn't before that. I can just walk into the tub. That’s the reason I bought it.

I invited Independent Home's rep to come and tell me what they all had. And he had enough there to catch my attention for almost an hour. He had the information about the other tubs, and it looked like his tub was ahead of the others by more than a small margin. My wife didn't want one. She said that looks like old people, and I said, "Well, do you ever look in the mirror, kid?" She was 72, I'm 78. We had a Jacuzzi tub, but I was always just on the verge of falling either getting in there, or getting out. And I was ready for a walk-in tub. We had a very good experience with the salesperson. And the techs that came had a hard two days prior to them arriving in my house. Yet they worked quietly, cleaned up every time they were finished for the evening, and I couldn't have asked for more courteous and helpful techs than they were.

The sales rep was excellent and the installers did their thing. I love the Independent Home walk-in tub. Everything was like what I was looking at. I like relaxing with the jets but my sister won’t let me turn them on. She doesn’t like it but at least she’s got a shower.

The gentleman who came here and talked to us was very nice. He took a lot of time with us and explained everything. I felt very comfortable with him. The installation was wonderful. Normally, there are two people but the guy who helps him got hurt. So, he tried to do it by himself. He worked hard and diligently all day long. It took him two days and he got it done. He did a wonderful job.

The reps were nice when they put the tub in and when they sold it to us. The quality of the Independent Home walk-in seems to be good and we’re very satisfied with it.

When Scott came to the house, he gave his presentation and I was satisfied with it. Everything was as advertised. The installation went good. It was less than a day to put the tub in. The three installers put it in quite readily. Everything seems to be working okay.

The installation was fine. The installers did a real good job. The tub has excellent quality.

The installers were very professional. They did a great job. I like just about everything about the tub, except my hot water heater is not big enough. Now, I gotta get a new hot water heater.

The installation was great. The tub they brought was not the tub that the rep told me I was going to get, though. It was skinnier and I was kind of upset about it. You have to turn around, kinda open the door and then suck in your stomach. Unless you’re sitting down. You're supposed to open it sitting down. So I'm okay with it. The tub looks great. But it takes a lot more hot water than my old 40-gallon tank could give.

The workmen cleaned up after themselves and they hauled the old tub away. We'd been in this house for almost 13 years and neither one of us had ever turned the other tub on. It was too high for us to get into so this tub is nice. I would have had it recessed towards the window instead of in the center of the room though. Still, the quality is great and I love the Independent Home tub. I feel cleaner using it than when I take a shower. Plus, it’s got a heated seat.

The guys who did the installation were very businesslike, took care of everything in one day, cleaned up their mess and they were nice. I’ve got all the features of the Independent Home tub and I enjoy the hot water. I live alone so I enjoy the safety factor and having a tub like this because getting in and out of a shower at my age and with the problems I have can sometimes be scary. Plus, this helps with the sciatica. I get in there and get the water good and warm. Then I have it hit my lower back and when I get out, I get in bed and sleep like a log. I had a friend who was here visiting me and he thought it was very relaxing too.

We were thinking about getting a walk in tub. We shopped around and discovered Independent Home. It has been a very pleasant experience dealing with this company. Their installation team are top notch. They completed the installation in a day. I was totally amazed at how they cleaned up as they went along. They took the time to explain what products they were installing. When they were finished they explained exactly how everything worked. As luck would have it, l ran into a couple of minor problems. I called and had my problem remedied within a day. This company is top notch.

Independent Home performed very well. The representative of the company that came to my house did a thorough job of explaining what was going on in a language I could understand. Then the installation went as scheduled. It was clean, and the installers didn't damage anything. That was wonderful. I like that the tub was designed to alleviate discomfort with pain in joints and muscles and it does that when I use it.

The installation team got the wrong tub at first. There was just a mix-up so we ended up having to wait an additional three weeks. But people make mistakes. They were great and they did an awesome job. Our bathroom is better than it was. They were willing to put extra insulation in the walls for it since it was open. They put things exactly where we wanted it. And the finishing work was good. There's one design flaw with the tub that we have to get with them about. Other than that, I like the door because I don't have to push up with my shoulders, which is painful, to get out. Being able to just stand up is wonderful. Independent Home has a high quality product and I would recommend it if it's something that would benefit your health and well-being. Don't wait until you're 80 to get one of these things. The rep said, “You're the youngest person we've ever sold one to.” I said, “So I get the benefit of it forever.” You have to have one.

Somebody called me at the time I was considering a walk-in tub, and I agreed for them to come out and explain the Independent Home tub to me. He was so nice. He explained the tub to me and that I could get a small one to fit my existing shower, so he measured. Also, he explained everything to me that I was concerned about.

The Independent Home rep went around several other things that were here at our house. The reps were all great, and the installation guys went above and beyond. We love our new walk-in tub. I love how quick it drains. My husband, who uses it the most, his suggestion would be to make the back go down a bit more. Other than that, the tub his back. Also, he gets in there before bedtime and it helps him sleep better. We're happy with it.

A guy came out and was one of the best salesmen I’ve ever sat down with. There was no pressure and there was no, “I gotta make this decision today.” It wasn't a three-hour sales that he just kept on talking until I said yes. I was very impressed with him from the very beginning and he helped tremendously. He was still there an hour later when my husband got home from work. He talked to him and my husband was the one that walked out with the paperwork and handed it to me. He says, “We need to do this.”

We got a couple of issues with the installation of our bathtub. One thing that we didn't get was full instructions on the air jets. There was nothing that talked about exactly what all the buttons meant on the air jet system. Without knowing exactly what all the buttons meant on the air system, I was getting cold air into the water when it was supposed to have been warm air. I talked to the installation guy about that and thought it was the air heater circulator. He said he would order one then come and replace it. In the meantime, we can’t figure out what the buttons mean. The air jet system does put warm air out of the holes with the jets.

A man called me and started explaining to me about the Independent Home bathtub. I've been wanting one. The man came and was nice and friendly. I ended up getting the bathtub. The installation was was quick and easy. The crew did it all in one day. There were a few little marks on it around the belt with paint. They didn't cover that well.

The installers were very knowledgeable and they knew what was going on. A guy walked me through it all. They had to take a couple of the door frames off but they put them back and everything was fine back around them. Nothing was messed up. My wife and I use the walk-in tub. Both of my knees were totally replaced and the walk-in tub helps with my legs. I recommended Independent Home to one of my relatives who is in the market now. He's about to get a walk-in tub.

Originally, we were supposed to have the walk-in tub installed on the 30th of March, and it wound up being Easter weekend before they finally were able to get here. There was a delay at the factory, and that's understandable. And then, the installers were in Oklahoma the night before they were supposed to be here and having to drive home. They were going to wait until Monday, and then they said, "No, we'll just come Saturday. And if we don't get it all put in on Saturday, then we'll come back Sunday." And I said, "On Easter?" He says, "Oh, yeah, no problem." So that's what they did.

I got a call wanting to know if we were interested in a walk-in tub and I actually had been looking at tubs. The person called me back in a few days and we set a time for someone to come out here. A team of two men and one woman came for the installation of the walk-in tub. They said they would have the job done that day. We had a tub that was in the ground and they were gonna have to get that out of there then put the new tub in. We also did a new hot water heater because ours was about 19 years old. Sure enough, the installers did the job in a day.

The installers went straight to work, took care of everything, and cleaned up. They finished in one day like they were supposed to. The walk-in tub has everything I wanted in it. The tub is jetted, it's the right size, and it has handlebars. I would recommend Independent Home.

The size of the Independent Home tub was easier. The other people would have had to tear out some walls and make some adjustments. The price of the Independent Home tub was the lowest too and it had all of the things that the other ones had. The service was also good. The guy that came out was awesome. The thing that I didn't think about before we got the tub is that it doesn't have a heater on it. Also, the water runs out before you can get it filled all the way up so I'm trying to get somebody to go out there and cut it up. I don't know if that'll make it last longer but it definitely will make it hotter so that it can run a little long. My mother got the smallest tub Independent Home has ‘cause she has a small space. She's a little chunky little lady so she has to hold her little stomach in to close the door but once she gets in there, it’s great. The level that we get the water where it stays high is right at her waist so it’s almost perfect for her.

The installers did a good job. They were here on time, and they cleaned up after themselves. Everything was great. I've been in the hospital and I'm having to use a walker. It's more convenient for me with a walk-in tub. The bubbles will help my legs too.

Independent Home's sales reps were very good and the installation went smoothly. The guy did it in less than a day and followed all of the guidelines that we had for masks, and this and that. The tub is easy to get in and out of, which was the key, plus, my knees are bad. And the whirlpool part of it is really nice.

The Independent Home rep was the first one here and he made a good presentation. We felt we got a good deal on it, and the lifetime warranty helps some too. The young men that installed my Independent Home tub did an excellent job. They were fast, efficient, and courteous. They set the tub down the bathroom and it looks professional. I enjoy being able to get in it and soak, and use the jets.

Independent Home did what they said they would do. Their sales guy called and came over. He told us all about their walk-in tub and showed us everything. It was the right price, so we bought it. Then, two really nice old men came out for the installation. They got here about 8 o'clock and they were gone by 3 o'clock. They said they've put in 1,200 tubs and they knew what they were doing. So far, I can shower in there just as well as I can if I was in a regular shower. My wife also showers in there, but we haven't used the water deal for over three times since we've had it because if you do that every day, it takes up a lot of time and uses a lot of water.

We enjoyed the two installers. They were friendly, helpful and quick. They also cleaned up as they went. I like the Independent Home tub and I've been enjoying it very much. I can sit down and I don’t have to stand up.

The walk-in tub is wonderful and has worked well. Since we got it, I'm able to help my husband get in and out of the shower or bath. I can use it for him and I don't have to have a health care worker come. All in all, I appreciate everything that Independent Home did for us.

Independent Home's sales rep was a nice man and the guys who did the installation were amazing. The product is great for a tub but it's not quite as handicap friendly as I thought it was going to be. I probably wouldn't sell one to somebody unless they sat in it and understood exactly what it was. But we like it and we're getting used to it.

It's easy for my husband to get in the Independent Home tub. He loves the little bubbles. So far, we haven't had any problems. He likes it.

They did a very good job. What they gave is what I wanted. No words there with the circulation, with the bubbles. Everything was good. The only thing I wish I would have gotten is a heater put into it.

I wish that they had fixed the shower thing. They didn't put it up on the wall. I've got a granddaughter that lives with me and she likes to use it. She likes to do her hair and she says where the shower thing is there on the tub, it’s just not convenient. I’ll just go down to ACE Hardware and find me something down there. But I'm satisfied with our Independent Home tub.

My experience with Independent Home was awesome. I like their price and the extras that it had for that price. I also like the extra jets for the air pump and the aromatherapy. It's the best thing we did. It's comfortable and convenient. We were really happy with it. As far as the contractors go, they came in, did their job and left. Did not leave a mess and cleaned up after themselves completely. They gave me a date of installation. They were there that day in the morning and they were out by midday. Awesome job. I've recommended them to my brother-in-law and my brother too.

The sales rep that I spoke to was very knowledgeable. She went over everything with me and measured it all out, figured out the size of the room and the size of the tub had to be. Everything went well on the presentation of the product. The installers were a day or so late because they got delayed on some other job. But while they were here, they did a real good job. They didn't damage anything. It's a tight space to put it all together, and they did really well on it. The tub is nice. I like the walk-in and it has some jets in there, stirring the water around. Everything is going very well.

A gentleman from Independent Home called me on the phone. We talked and I said, yes, I had never talked with anybody else, and I would be interested in hearing what he had to offer. He came over and at first, I was gonna think about it. Then we did a down payment and they told me when they could come. There were two young gentlemen that came about 10 o'clock in the morning. They were going to come on the day before but they were a little bit behind in their work so they asked if the next day would be convenient. They stayed quite late but did an excellent job.

The installation team works fast and they did a good job. One of the parts was not working and I'm waiting for them to come and finish up. The only thing is that they said it would have a little bit of wider doorway in case we have wheelchairs to come in but it looks like the same door size. I have to read back in the contract what that says. Also, it should be noted in the contract that afterwards, the customer is responsible for doing the repainting of what work was done. That part was not clarified enough to me. Other than that, it was a good experience overall and the product is beautiful looking.

We went with Independent Home because the price was right and they could get it right away. It was two, three weeks and the installation took a day. The installers were real conscientious. They laid down tarps on the rugs and kept us informed as to what was going on. We were well-pleased with the crew that was here. The tub's got everything we need. Everything works fine and it looks good. It's well worth the money.

They’re the ones that give you a fair price and go over things with you. Plus, their prices are hard to beat. The techs also knew what they were doing. They had everything they needed and built everything on site. Now that I'm using the tub and its features, I'm walking a lot better. Usually, I have to wear leg braces on each leg and I hadn't worn them in a while.

I called Independent Home and they had the best price. I went with them and I've been satisfied with my purchase. I chose the model got because it had the walk-in tub plus I had the shower. With the shower curtain and the showerhead with the adjustable height, it worked out very well for me. The only thing I questioned was the loose electrical connection during the installation. They just put the electrical connection in a box on the end of a cord and tossed it on top of the equipment. I'm not used to that. I'm used to seeing an electrical box attached firmly to something.

The installation was nice. The only problem I’m having with the tub is I slide off the seat. I have to put my foot up on the wall in front of the seat to push myself back to be able to stay on the seat. One guy had called me and was asking me did I like the tub and I told him that. He said he was going to send me a pillow to help me stay in place but it haven’t got here yet. I also did notice I had to turn my hot water tank up so the water will be hot. It went right cold before it filled up so I had to do that. But other than that, everything is good. They explained to me like the owner’s manual says in the manual. Everything is exactly where they say it will be, the water and where it fills up. I already passed the tub around to several different people.

I would recommend Independent Home. When they came to see us, I liked everything they said. Having it is an advantage for somebody like me who has trouble with their legs. I had a Jacuzzi tub and I couldn't get in or out of it. Also, I like the part that's got the bidet in it.

He was very flip. Didn’t measure space for tub, saying he knew what we needed. We have a window over the present tub. We asked about it, he said no problem tub would go under window. When installers came (who were wonderful), tub went above the window sill and that we needed a 60” tub instead of 52” that Jeff had ordered. We asked about brushed nickel fixtures, which we were charged an extra $300 for. The installer arrived with brushed nickel but didn’t fit. Plus that fact that there are several parts on the tub that were chrome. The installer got us a $300 credit. The salesman was not honest with us.

We took delivery of our walk-in bathtub on Friday and we love it! A big thank you to Mark **, the salesman, who came to our home to measure, and to go over everything. A special thank you the Installer, Ozzi and his partner, who made the whole installation process go so smoothly. There was no clean-up to do. Our tub was installed in an upstairs bathroom, so not the easiest installation for them, but they were absolutely great.

We bought the tub for my mother but because it is a walk in tub you have to get in before it is filled, then wait till it fills, and that can be cold. It is a long wait till it is filled up. Not the company's fault. Just a part we don't like.

Independent Home needs to step up. They're giving us the runaround. It wasn't two weeks after they left that the handle they put on our tub screwed up. It quit holding the door tight. I had one man install it and he put some more putty in a hole that he thought would make the handle tighten up. He then said he was going to order me one. I waited and waited but I never got it. I called Independent Home and a woman told me she would order the handle and send it to me. She said when I get it, I should call them, and then she would set up a time for one of the workers to come in and install it. I haven't received it yet.

I can step into the walk-in tub from Independent Home and sit down and I like the therapy. I like those little air jets. It’s like getting a massage with water. I lay in there and I thank God for the decision I've made to go ahead and pull the trigger on getting it. At first, I thought I wasn’t gonna be able to get it in there because the guy said the tub wouldn't fit. They had said they were gonna have to enlarge my door. But when he got here and looked at it, he said that he could put the tub in if he could cut a space big enough for it in the living room and slide it through there and then replace the drywall once he got in. By doing that, it saved me another $300. He didn’t charge me the $300 for having to replace the door and put a bigger doorway in.

The guy who put my tub in checked my water tank and said that it was big enough. But, I'm not getting to use the tub like it's supposed to be used because the tank isn't big enough. I can't fill it up because I don't have enough hot water, even with my water heater working perfectly. I had some plumber come in and I had him put two new units in it, one of which needed to be replaced. With the two new units, it still doesn't put out enough water to fill the tub up. The jets just come up on the water about an inch on the seat. Behind my back, the jets don't work because there's no water there. I'm discouraged with the tub. I love it but I'm disappointed that it's not doing what it's supposed to do.

I was not thrilled with the customer service after the tub has been installed. The installers kind of did a half-assed job and my contractor tried to build around it and fixed everything else around it because it destroyed the way my bathroom was designed. Then, once we finally got hold of the installer, we could tell he wasn't interested in having to take care of me because he's from Orlando and I'm on the other side of Florida. Also, the tub uses more water than what my hot water heater carries, which they should have known. And when we drain it, I get rust floating in the bottom of the tub. I had been trying to find an answer for it. Independent Home just disappeared.

My wife couldn't get in and out of our Jacuzzi so it was useless. That was the reason we decided to get a walk-in tub. I went online and got a deluge of people wanting to sell one but Independent Home's price was right, so we ended up with them. Their walk-in tub works as advertised. But there's one button that I can't figure out. I called twice to ask for a written or online access to explain how to use some of the buttons. I got the salesperson and that salesperson said they'd pass it on to corporate. But I never got anybody to respond and I gave up. That tub costs 11,000 bucks. I expect somebody to get back to me pretty quickly. Other than that lack of response, everything else has been good.

The installation of the walk-in tub went good. I like it. It’s easy to get in and out of it.

Independent Home's pricing was better than anybody's and their service was as good as you can get. The installers did a great job on the installation. They did it in one day and everything was done to perfection. Also, they were very easy to work with and very responsive to any questions we have.

I built my house by myself, so I had a tub that was already in there. But my wife have MS and she didn't want to step up anymore into it. So, she just wanted one with a door that opens. I priced a few at Home Depot and Lowe's. And the Independent Home walk-in tubs were around five to six apiece. The installation and everything in the deal they got fit the budget, so I went ahead and purchased. The one that we got has lavender smells to it. The installation went really well and the quality of the work was great. But when the installer showed up, he completely redid the plumbing at no extra expense. That included digging out using a jackhammer to break up the concrete to run a return pipe for water and for air, just because they wanted to get the tub in. We went on vacation right after it and it had set. A little bit of the caulking came away from the wall but I can fix the caulking. That's not that big of a deal.

The men from Independent Home did a good job. The only problem I have with them is they didn't close everything up between the floor and the garage downstairs, and I'm getting cold air into the bathroom. I've talked to their guy up there three times and he's going to set up something but nothing ever gets set up to come in and finish closing that off.

The installation of our Independent Home tub was perfect. They hauled the old one away and they did a real good job. My husband has Parkinson's. It's hard for him to get in and out of the tub. I like that I can step right in. It’s better on me even, having to help him not have to step over in a tub. But it's relaxing for both of us. We really like it.

The folks that I got the tub from called and scheduled an appointment to talk to me then I got a walk-in tub. The installers were great and I've enjoyed the whole tub. It's perfect for me and I don't have to worry about falling down, so it's working out well.

Independent Home has a fantastic product. I like it. I had two spinal surgeries and I needed a good soaking in the tub we had. We had a Jacuzzi tub, but it wasn't doing the job. Also, my wife has had double knee replacement, and it's difficult for her to step into the tub. To get out, I have to help her too. My mother-in-law was also visiting and couldn't get out of the tub. I decided then that we need to do something different. I got the top-of-the-line model and it came with every whistle and bell that I could think of. The young lady that put this tub in was fantastic as well. She deserves every accolade she could get. All I get is compliments on her work. It is gorgeous. I haven't had the chance to get in yet, but my wife loves it. She didn't want to get out. I had to make her get out.

The Independent Home tub gives my wife more freedom. Before, I had to help her out of the tub. Now, it's a lot better for her. She can get in and out of the tub herself and I don't have to be in there to pick her up after. That's the reason we bought it to start with. We're looking further down the line when we can both barely get around. She's 80 years old and I'm 81, so we're getting up there where we don't need be lifting each other. We like the tub. It's a good deal. The only thing I've got against it is I got to sit in it and get it filled up. It takes three times as much hot water as does a regular tub. We got a 40-gallon hot water heater and it doesn't make enough water for my wife and I to take a bath on the same day.

The installation crew was very good and with the walk-in tub that I got from Independent Home, I don't have to step over so high there where you fall.

The sales rep I had was really fine and he had a lot to do with me getting the tub. He followed through. And the guys worked on my tub until night. They cleaned up everything and everything just went perfectly. I like the shower more than anything. I'm getting old and I can't stand up as well as I used to. I sit down and enjoy it so much.

I was checking in to see what I wanted since I didn't like my old tub anymore. Then, I got a call from Independent Home and I asked their rep to let me know what was all in their deal. He told me about the showers or the tub and it was very nice. The installation was very good, too. So far, I enjoy all the features of the tub and I'm very satisfied with it. I've also told people about it.

I looked at different companies and Independent Home was the first one that called, made an appointment, and came out. David was a great salesman and he spent a lot of time with us. The walk-in tub was put in for my elderly mother who is moving in with us. She was unable to come at the beginning of the presentation and when she came, David went through the whole process with her again. He more than impressed me. He was 100% of the reason why we went with the company. When the guys installed the walk-in tub in our basement, they went over how it works and filled it up with water. I saw that it worked and it looks very nice. They did a good job. We haven't used the walk-in tub yet because we've been redoing the entire bathroom. Also, my mother wants to be the first one to use it.

The installers were polite and friendly. They were also very efficient and did a good job. The couple of times my husband used the tub, we are glad we have it.

I got the bigger Independent Home walk-in bathtub and it was a little expensive. I can buy the same identical tub for $3,500 and spend about 1,500 to have it put in. That's way cheaper than what I paid. I didn't know better at the time. The salesman was very good. Installers brought the tub and put it in. They were nice and they did the job very quickly. Overall, the experience was okay.

It was very noisy when the tub was installed, but it turned out okay. However, I didn't realize it was gonna be that small once they got it in 'cause we're not little people. It also took up a lot more space than I realized. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't.

We have not used the new tub as of today, but it looks good! I’m certain it will be amazing. Great job with installation and service from everyone! The process was smooth. Thank you for all of your assistance with this purchase.

The guy that came out to talk to us about the walk-in tub was very nice and down to earth, which I really liked. He made us feel comfortable with it. The prices with Independent Home was a lot better too. I checked it out with a couple of other people that wanted a lot more money and Independent Home had the best deal. Two guys came out to install the tub and they were really nice. I love my walk-in tub. It's perfect. It's helping my knee out a lot. I don't know why I didn't do it sooner.

The installer was terrific. We had a good time with him. The salesman was good as well, but he was strong. Afterwards, I thought, “Oh, what did I do?” But I like the tub. I have been using the tub more than the vibration.

I had trouble getting in and out of the tub. So, we decided to get a walk-in from Independent Home. Their rep was very good. I did have a 25-gallon hot water heater extender added, but it doesn't still give us quite enough water. So, I'm gonna have to think about what we're gonna do to get enough hot water.

The installation of our Independent Home tub was very nice. They did it all in one day. I like both the jets, the air and the fact it's sitting in a tub. I prefer a tub bath. It's a good product.

The installation of our Independent Home tub was fine. It served the purpose for which I got it, except to fill-up, it’s slow.

The installers of our Independent Home Tub were there for about 12 hours and they did a nice job. They were also prompt about it. They came when they said they were going to. There's one rough corner I'm not real happy about though. I told them and they sent me little bumpers. It’s a white walk-in tub. They sent me a brown foam thing, which was not satisfactory because of the color. So, I went to Lowe's and found a clear plastic one. Also, the cold and hot water are swapped. Normally, your hot water is on the left, and your cold is on the right. But it's the other way around. Other than that, we've been very pleased with it.

Purchasing the tub from Independent Home was wonderful. The whole thing was just super from beginning to end. I got the Supreme and the reps who installed it were fun. I've been teaching swimming for 52 years and in the wintertime, I love my water. So, the tub is relaxing. I'm glad I got it and I hope I live long enough to use it.

The sales rep from Independent Home was very knowledgeable. I personally don't like that feeling of being pushed into doing something right now. The deal should have been to think it over and he would come back or he would call me in a couple of days. But it was now or never. As it turned out, it was fine. The reps installed it well. They came at noon on a Friday. They got the tub all torn out and came back the next morning, and they finished it all that day. They were very good. I’ve got a hot water heater that’s supposed to have enough hot water for the tub but apparently, it didn't. Still, the tub seems to be a good product. My husband has used it several times. He's not crazy about it but he doesn't like anything new. He's fine with it and it's going to be a good thing. It’d be safer for him.

Independent Home was good and explained everything well when I got the tub. The salesman said the installation would take all day but they were done by lunch. The only problem I have with the tub is that it takes almost all the hot water in my water heater to fill it up. I have a 50-gallon water heater but the tub takes so much water. If you don't want to fill it up and use the little jet things, then you're fine.

I had brochures that came in the mail about step-ins and when Independent called me, I assumed that it was one of the ones that I had sent cards in for. We bought a walk-in shower and spa and I really like it. The installers got here at 8:00 and left a little after 4:00. They kept on the go the whole time they were here. Everyone was very cordial, nice and cleaned up after themselves. The only thing that I didn't hear when they came was the hot water capacity. We have a 50-gallon tank, but it's not big enough to fill the tub. We weren't aware of that until after they left. I hadn't been able to use the spa and I have to purchase another water heater. On the other hand, I've been using the shower part.

I was looking for a walk-in tub and Independent Home called me. I like the way I feel after I get out of it. I'm a quadriplegic, and I’m in pain 24/7, and it really helps. I keep needing to call them, I haven’t figured out the faster emptiness yet. But, it’s okay.

We thought about getting a walk-in tub. My wife is disabled, and she was requesting one for some time. We got one from Independent Home and the variation in the lighting while the water circulates is very nice. The installation of the tub also went very well, but the salesman said that we were going to get a rebate of $750 and we never got it.

The reps of Independent Home seemed to know what they were talking about. The installation team was here for three days. They were very fast. They didn't fool around. They worked. It was a man and his son. They put down plastic to cover my carpet. They were bringing things in and walking, trying to keep the carpet clean. However, I have that problem with the water falling out, I have to hold my feet up so that the hot water won't hit them till the temperature gets right. I'm not as pleased with it as I thought I would be. I have another bathroom that has a walk-in shower and it's easier to use than this one.

Crew was very kind and efficient. They built a shelf in the corner attached to the tub. They filled the tub and showed us how to operate it. This tub will use all of my hot water heater capacity to squire the temperature that I like. The more I use the tub, I will become more familiar with it.

The sales rep of Independent Home was informative and helped me with all my questions. Purchasing it was an easy process. The installers were all nice. The caulking dried with cracks along the back of the wall. The fella said he would arrange for them to come back and recaulk it so it wouldn’t damage anything. But I told him that was okay. I would just go to Lowe’s and get some caulking and do it myself. He said, “Okay. I’ll just send you a gift card then.” I went and got caulking from Lowe’s and fixed it, and he sent me a gift card. Our experience was very pleasing.

Purchasing our Independent Home tub was an easy process. The sales rep did a good job of telling us about it. The installers were great too. They had it done in less than four hours. I’d recommend it.

The reason we got the Independet Home tub is because of my back. On the 13th of October, I fell in the garage and broke my shoulder. And the fact that it has the handheld shower, which we opted for, I have been able to shower by myself now. Not the best in the world, but I can do it. I love the whole thing. I would like if I could bathe more than shower. I also love the jet. I’ve been able to do a lot of things as far as bathing that I probably couldn’t do with a broken shoulder and a bad back.

The installation of our Independent Home tub was very good. I really liked the two men that came. It was a father and son, both named John. They were very thorough and were very professional. They did an excellent job and did it in a short amount of time. The part I was worried about was turning the water off, and they worked it out so that they only had to turn it off for about 20 minutes. Then, they were able to turn it back on, which I was very pleased with. The man that sold it to us said out of several hundreds that he'd sold, he only had one problem with one at one time. The installer had done over 700 of them. So, I was very pleased.

We called Independent Home and they came out and they discussed the product with us. I liked what they were saying. The installation was wonderful. The crew came about 8:30 and they were finished with the job a little before 1:00. They cleaned up everything that they had messed up and I was satisfied. I absolutely love our tub.

We bought our tub from Independent Home after having American Standard and Safe Step come by and Patrick from independent home was so nice and easy to deal with. Our tub was installed 11-17 and the installers did a great job. They worked from 830 am till 6 pm nonstop. Patrick and Jessie are nice and know their job. We were satisfied with the price at Independent Home, which made us decide to work with them. The installation team was very good and they did a great job. I like that you can get a massage from the tub's two levels of massage.

I am very pleased so far. Will know better tomorrow when I can try it out. They were careful not to mess up my carpet, etc. The tub looks great! They were friendly and hardworking. They gave me lots of information on how to use it, and I have an instruction manual. Hoping it eases my back pain.

Independent Home was the least expensive walk-in tub manufacturer. Their sales rep was nice and those guys who installed it were excellent. The walk-in tub was what I was expecting. I hadn’t had a bathtub bath for a long time and I bought it ‘cause I wanted to sit and soak. I'm relaxed when I get out of the tub.

We have bad backs and we were going to the pool, and sitting in the jacuzzi. I looked at Jacuzzi and they were so far of our budget. I’d seen Independent Home and I thought that I'd try this one. The installers were very young men. They were so polite, respectful, and they cleaned up really well. They had to go through my son's wall which was on the other side because the tub wouldn't fit around a closet thing that I have in my back room. They did an awesome job. They moved things out, they put things back, and they took very good care of it. I was really happy about the tub. I like to be able to sit down to bathe and it takes a little bit more water. But mine doesn't get quite as hot as I'd like. I have to run just straight hot water because, luckily, we have a large solar water tank. It's just that it's too small for us. We're big people and getting in and out of that door is a little rough. But we'll get used to it.

I got arthritis and with our old tub, I could get in there, but I couldn't get out. So, I said I will get this Independent Home step-in tub. They gave me about the direction. They said if I take sleeping pills and pain pills, don't get in the tub if I'm by myself.

The salesman seemed to think that it was a better deal with Independent Home so we chose to go with them but I don't like the sales pitch. There was a little high-pressure sales. But the purchase was pretty easy to do. Then, the installers came and they came in the morning at about the time they were supposed to. I didn't think they could do it all in one day but they did. They took out the old tub and all the equipment that was attached to it in the morning. They installed the new one in the afternoon and was gone by 6 o'clock.

I was just looking for something convenient. I had a sauna tub, and it was too deep for me to step over in. I wanted the walk-in tub. I checked around other places and then when I saw Independent Home on TV, I decided to go with them. I got the top-of-the-line one that came with the shower and got the spa in the tub. I like everything about it and I use it every day. I just wish when I sit on the seat, the headrest is a little higher. But other than that, I'm very pleased with it.

I've been looking at different walk-in bathtubs for a year. I've had a number of calls and people interested in giving me a look at it and giving me a quote. I decided to try Independent Home and it worked out fine. Lionel was a good salesman. He was very knowledgeable. I guess he didn't wanna confuse the matter but he did not tell me about the different models. I thought it was just one tub. What he was telling me was the therapeutic tub and I didn't know they had different things. I might've chosen something different but I got what he told me about. Maybe I didn't get my money's worth. Maybe I got the strip down job here.

The American Standard people had been out and they were just so expensive. I couldn't afford them. Then I went online again and Independent Home popped up. I haven't had that so I called and made an appointment. The guy came out. It was about $6,000 less and I could afford that. It was well made and I really like the tub itself. It was like the one that I looked at from American Standard. He had taken me out to somebody's home that had one and so I saw it. He was very nice, polite, and answered all my questions. He didn't rush. I'm happy with the product that I bought.

The rep from Independent Home called me on the phone and I’ve seen them on television too. I got a discount and that helped when I chose the bathtub model. The rep was nice and polite. How they treat you makes a lot of difference. The installation team cleaned up and didn’t leave any trash. I like the tub and I ordered some more of the things that you put into it that makes it smell good. I was told that Independent Home would send me two but I asked them if they could send me four. I haven’t received any yet. But I enjoy the tub and people would too, if they try it. I had a garden tub and I quit getting in it because I couldn't get out of it, which made me decide to look at walk-in bathtubs. The new tub makes you feel good and positive.

There was an ad in the paper for walk-in tubs and I’ve seen several of them but the one from Independent Home looked different for some reason. I found out later that the other ones didn't have as many of the holes as ours do. I got the 32 jets. The purchasing experience was wonderful and the lady who came was a doll. I was pleased with the two young men who put the tub in. They had to put in a whole new door for our bathroom because they couldn’t get the tub in. They were professional and good about it. They took their time with it but they got it done. The installation was beautiful. The best thing I ever did in my life was have this tub and I love it.

I liked the price of Independent Home's walk-in tub. I have the simple model with the air jets on it. Dave was my sales rep and he was very informative. He was eager to please and he worked hard at making sure I was getting what I wanted. The installation experience went well. The redheaded guy was a lot of fun. He was kind, really friendly, and very nice. The other guy was kinda quiet. They had some difficulty with reinstalling the door but they were good about working at it until they got it done. Everything looks good.

I had really nice salespeople for my Independent Home tub. The installers were very good as well and they got the tub in in just one day. They demonstrated how to use everything. It's just that I forgot. I also forgot to ask again how to clean it. Other than that, I like my tub. But I would rather have the air vents that does the bubbly stuff go down a little bit lower. They're a little bit high for me.

I wanted to change my bathtub because I was having a hard time getting out of it. It was an old one. I looked up Independent Home in the directory and I got the walk-in tub. We didn't have the tall shower hooked up because I didn't need that. The fellow who came out was very nice as well as the installation team. They got it in and out. I have been in the tub one time and the water was too cold, so I had to get right back out. My husband and I haven't had time to relax with it but I hope in the near future, we can.

We could not be pleased more. The installer was very professional. The installation went in perfectly and they were very careful to not damage anything. The way they went about being sure everything was cleaned up was very professional. We were so glad we selected this firm for our tub. We will recommend this firm to our friends.

We moved and we were combining homes. So, we moved my dad in with us, who's almost 85. We were here a couple of months and he had to use our shower because he couldn't get into his house, which made us decide to get a walk-in tub. We contacted Safe Step and other big-name brands, and no one could fit in a tub for my dad's for less than $16,000, which was the reason we were disappointed with the others. Then, Independent Home came in and gave us the thing. The rep was amazing and very nice.

I'm 80 years old and I found it hard to get inside and out of a regular bathtub. Then this lady came by and told me all about walk-in bathtubs. Everything went fine with the construction and the tub from Independent Home looks great. It seems to take a lot of water but I enjoy the jets and the massage that it gives. It's plenty big enough. It could be a little smaller.

I could no longer get in my bathtub, so I had to keep washing at the sink. I didn't like that. So I got a walk-in tub and I love it. The sales rep was nice and understanding. The installers came in and it was done in one day. They cleaned up and they put it out. It was just like they said on the advertisement.

I hadn't been able to get in and out of my tub for quite some time. I had a chair that I sit in on and my husband would have to help me get out but it got to where he nearly fell. It was getting dangerous for him to help me out so we had to have a walk-in tub. I liked the two guys that installed the tub from Independent Home. They had to come all the way from Gadsden and they were as nice as they could be. I've to get used to the fact that I feel like I'm in a stall when I'm in the tub but I enjoy it and I am glad to have it. I enjoy the jets and I enjoy being able to get in and get out of the tub.
