I like my Independent Home tub. I can easily walk in and there's enough water pressure. I can sit down and wash my hair easily by leaning over. I got the hand spray but it makes it so much easier for me to get down there and get my hair and feet washed. I also like the seat warmer and the jets. The only thing was they gave me some instructions on what all those buttons did but when I push the button that's supposed help drain it faster, it doesn't drain. There is another button that you could push on the left-hand side that's supposed to let off the small jets but I don't see them doing anything. Also, when the water starts to drain, I can hear the water in my toilet bubbling then I start smelling sewage coming from my drain. My son was telling me there's supposed to be a flap to keep that from coming in. I have some plumbers here right now because I'm getting all my plumbing updated. They're gonna be working on that.

Independent Home's sales rep was very kind. Also, the installer was nice. Ran into a couple of hiccups and was good about fixing it, good about telling me about it. At first, one thing didn't work. It wouldn't go up and down, and refill at the end. But they got the part, came back and fixed it right away. The only issue I have is I had a 50-gallon water heater and it did not work. So, we ended up putting in a new one thinking that mine was too weak and that was not big enough. We had to get an 80-gallon one. So, I would be very strong on suggesting that people know that upfront. We even got a booster and that wasn't enough. Independent Home needs to be more honest and clear about that.

I love my Independent Home walk-in tub. It's easy to get into. I wish I had a shower up on the wall. But I got a handheld shower and that works. It's easy to use. And my feet clap when I get in it. The installers did a great job.

Purchasing from Independent Home was fairly well and the sales rep was very good. He was very nice. The installers were efficient and cleaned up. They were in and out in no time. I love the micro bubbles on the walk-in tub and overall, the quality is great. If I had known it was gonna be this great, we'd have done it a lot sooner.

The sales rep was great, and installation went good. The install guys got in and did what they were supposed to do. The walk-in tub is convenient for me taking a bath, and I like that I can get in, sit down and take a bath. I needed a walk-in tub because sometimes I wasn't able to get in our tub 'cause I got some toes cut off.

Very professional, very friendly, easy to talk to. Answered all my questions. Had an extensive knowledge of the product. I was elated with the prospect of doing business with him.. I'm so excited about getting my walk in tub.

Billy ** was my salesman. He was very caring, understanding, and patient with my disability and hearing loss. I did end up buying a walk-in tub from Independent Home. The company overall, was very good with me from discounts to financing. They care about their customers and take care of them. My 2 installers, Jason ** & D’Antre ** were exceptional. They worked very hard in getting this tub into my small bathroom. It was NOT an easy job but they did it flawlessly. This whole team was amazing. Independent Home should be very proud to have them as part of their company.

From start to finish a very professional company. The salesman was very thorough and understood our needs. The installation team consisted of two men, each very professional and very, very, very clean throughout the process. The worksite was kept clean, which was very helpful for my wife. The installation Was explained to us as far as all matters needing our attention should anything ever happened to the system and we went through every function of the tub and without a doubt we feel very comfortable with the instruction and the installation. I would recommend Independent Home for your walk-in tub needs without any doubt.

I had Independent Home install a walk in tub in Nov 2023. When I first ran the tub it did not fill up with enough hot water to run the jets. We had to boil 2 large pots on the stove to get enough hot water! They sent the contractor back out who added a "booster" to my hot water heater. When I ran the water it only ran cool throughout the house. They sent another contractor a week later who adjusted the booster. After that the water only ran lukewarm water. I called the gas company out to do an inspection. They told me that was the hottest it would get and I needed a new hot water heater. Also the tub takes 12-18 minutes to drain even when taking a shower. I recorded this. They have told me twice now that they would send someone out. No one has called or come out.

Ordered a tub for my mother and the sales rep oversold and the tub didn’t fit. Then brought a new tub and had to make the bathroom door wider. Once the tub was in place the installer never put the door trim or wall back or painted the wall or door frame. Disconnected the chair lift and when he reconnected the chair. It never worked properly! I have called, emailed and wrote letters and still no resolution. Even have a case number #** but This is how the company treats a ninety year old woman.

The walk-in tub installation and the people were great. The guy that installed it was quick and efficient, explained things and cleaned up after himself. But I didn't get to call them and ask, “Do you have something in writing?” I know I could look online, but it's nice to have a piece of paper that says you turn this on and you turn that on because there's a lot of stuff to it. It would be helpful if Independent Home had more written instructions to go with it. I spent a lot of money on this, so I'm trying to be very careful with it. I don't wanna mess it up. Other than that, everything is wonderful because it has the jets and the hydrotherapy. I have trouble with my knees and my back. It makes my knees feel good. I would recommend it to anybody.

My mother is enjoying the walk-in tub. When she got in there, she didn't want to get out. She felt the massage of the little bubbles. She was always complaining she couldn't take a shower because she was scared she was gonna fall, and she has arthritis really bad too. So far, I’ve made the right decision.

I contracted with Independent Home to put in a shower tub and the price, time to install was great, everything was great, but when I sat down the next day and did my budget I realized I couldn't afford it. When I contacted them by a phone and email they were wonderful in getting my contract canceled. They understood that it was Financial and I really appreciate how easy they made the process and how understanding they were.

The installers were here on time. They were fabulous. They took my tub out and had trouble with my door. The interior doors are not as wide as I wish they were. They had told me ahead of time that they would probably have to take the frame off. But they put it back together. I'd recommend the Independent Home tub with certain reservations. It isn't exactly what I expected. It takes over 20 minutes to fill it up. I like to soak. But I want my water hot and it's taking that long to fill up and the water is just lukewarm.

I got a call from Independent Home and the rep said they wanted to come out and give me an estimate. I said okay and they did. I liked their estimate and they came back and did the work. Two guys showed up on the day they said they were going to and on the first half of the day, they tore everything out. They cleaned everything and then installed the new walk-in shower. They were done at close to 8 o'clock that night. They did an excellent job.

Independent Home gave me a reasonable price to put a walk-in tub in. The installers had to come back the next day, but that was okay. Their work was very good. I liked the main man. He was very nice. And the other gents were very cordial. They worked all day and worked after the next day. They explained everything and cleaned up after themselves. So, I was very pleased. They showed me before they left how it worked, what went with what. I love the oxygenator because it makes my skin smooth.

The reps from Independent Home were quiet and very efficient. And when they were through, the job was terrific. I had a regular tub and shower before and now, I have a walk-in tub with a hand shower. It's got hold bars and a seat in it. It’s has a little step to get in and the only thing I found uncomfortable about it was the hard plastic seat. But I got on Amazon and bought a cushion to sit on. So, I'm comfortable. All my kids were in last week for a visit and I told them I loved the walk-in tub. They all liked it too.

The sales representative from Independent Home seemed knowledgeable, confident, and reflected well on the company and the products that they sold. The installation was a one-man show. The installer worked hard. I trusted him in my home and around my family. He was prompt, informative, very professional and did excellent work. The bathroom before was more formal and wasn’t jetted. We had a nice deep tub that was long for lounging. I would sleep in it and watch television. It also had a hand sprayer. It's just that the one person in that particular room wasn't able to get in or out and we were at the point where we would have to call for assistance if he got stranded in the tub. He wasn't wanting to bathe. It was a big deal, because of the difficulty getting in and out. It didn't matter how pretty it was. It just wasn't working for him. But once we had the walk-in installed, he was bathing and he’s healthier and happier. Overall, he feels better.

My experience with Independent Home was fantastic. I couldn't be happier. I got the figure from them first. They came out to be factory direct and the best price. I liked the salesman. He told me the truth about everything. Then the installers came in and told me how it was gonna go down. It went down exactly like they told me. They hooked the tub up in one day and cleaned up their mess. I'm a contractor and I tried my best to find something to pick at but there was nothing. Some lady also called and wanted to make sure I was happy. The tub has been a blessing to me. I couldn't get my legs working and sat on a wheelchair. Now, I got this thing where I use it almost every day. I like the massage and the little air bubbles. There's so much variety of what it'll do. It's got the fragrance thing and the pumps that circulate the water. It also has the jets, the air circulator and the wave.

I looked at walk-in tubs over the internet, and I settled on Independent Home. I got three of them to come in and take a look. Independent Home was the better one. They sent me a person to look at the house and gave an estimate. The fella was discussing what tubs to purchase and he wanted to look and see what it looked like at the house to see if they had an availability to get the tub in and availability for the electricity. He was kind and cordial. I wanted an outward-facing door. That way, I can get two handicapped people into the tub. But he suggested an inward-facing door and that's what we ended up doing. We got the tub installed and we tried to get people in it and we couldn't. I've got two of them that are wheelchaired and the door facing inward is too skinny. People can't lift their feet up into the tub. So, I called them and told them I need to change the tub to an outward-facing door. I haven't got anything back yet and it's been two weeks.

After the installation, Independent Home's tech had filled up the tub. He shut the water off to the house, which is fine. When I saw him filling up the tub, the water was all brown and he said that was from turning the water off. But that didn't make sense. It had been shut off before and I never had to fill up a tub of brown water. And it wouldn't drain. It took over an hour to drain this tub. I said, "I don't know why it's not draining, but it should be." His response was, "If it doesn't drain and it happens again, just call the plumber." He should have waited until he was able to fill that up with clean water and drain it. And what did he mean by call the plumber? The tub drained before. And I have no problems with the toilets draining. I got locked in for over an hour because it didn't drain. I had to climb out. That's not safe.

The gentleman from Independent Home was very good. The installation was very good and it went a lot quicker than I thought it would. It didn't take more than three hours. The two young guys who came to install were upright and they knew what they were doing. They left when everything was done and did a good job.

Great job removing my tub and replacing it with a walk in shower…It will definitely be much safer for me…The installers were so nice and courteous and I will most definitely refer all of my friends who are planning a remodel to this company

Great experience. The bathroom looked so nice. Didn’t think it would look so professional. Was so glad could soak my legs because I have m/s. Leave me in so much pain. I needed it bad. M/S Foundation said they could give 3,000 dollars after my doctor file when she sign the papers.

Mark, the salesman from whom we bought our Independent Home, had a great presentation and the installers were incredible. The install day was supposed to be on a Tuesday, but there was some kind of miscommunication with the guy who set that up. So, it happened the following day. But the installation went like clockwork. Josh and the other gentleman with him did a fantastic job. They were a paragon. We got the walk-in tub with a shower. It's white and there are air jets. I use the walk-in for showers and baths. I'm currently pretty busy, so it's nice to be on there. It also makes it safer for me to shower. It gives you the option of soaking in a very therapeutic tub and we believe it will add a good amount of value to our home if we ever decide to sell it.

I contacted Independent Home and then they came out and I was very impressed with the product. So, we went with it. The installation was excellent and fast.

Excellent service, speedy, clean, organized. Installer Chris and Charles very professional. Excellent explanation of the operating system of the tub. Looking forward to using it daily. For my husband is a dream come true. I also want to recommend this tub to my friends. It is very stylish and easy to maintain.

I like my walk-in tub from Independent Home. It's easier getting in and out of compared to my regular tub. They did a very good job of installing it. It looked like it was made to be there. I'm satisfied.

The Independent Home installer was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and did the job and got it done. I added on a hot water heater because I had a regular 40-gallon and that was insufficient. Now, when I fill it up inside, I get hot water all the way to the end. I like the jets and that the tub empties out quickly too, because I have a two-inch drain, so I don't have to stay in there that long. That works out well for me because I'm handicapped. I'm an amputee. I have to take my leg off when I get in there, and when I'm in there, I have no leg on. And coming out, I gotta put the leg back on before I get out. I also like that I can even take the shower sitting down. After it empties out, I wash my body off with the nozzle. The tub cleans up after itself too, air blows out. I don't have to do anything and that is a good feature for me.

The installers had a little up and down with different people coming because one guy got hurt, but they got the tub in all right. Having the walk-in tub is in our favor in every way. We needed one because we are old and have issues getting in and out. With Independent Home, we sit down when we're bathing and we step down in there. Everything is handy, including the way the water works. I love it. So far, everything is good, but I also have to learn a little more about it.

The installers of Independent Home did a good job. They had to fix part of the wall to get the tub in and they even found a leak in the plumbing that we didn't know we had. It was very lucky that they planned out how they were gonna put it in because we could see water dripping, but it hadn't caused any damage yet. They fixed that leak and they didn't charge us anything extra. Everything worked out just fine and they did the installation in one day.

I really like the salesperson of Independent Home. We got along, especially when I used to live in a town of 4,000 people and she's lived there too about the same time. I got the tub with the jets and everything looks great. But I'm upset that I haven't been able to use it due to the fact that I was told that it would work with my water heater and it didn’t. They told me that the 50-gallon water tank I had would be enough and it isn't.

The saleslady went over the stuff that Independent Home's had. She also had her independent research on the different modalities of it and showed me all. I got all the bells and whistles. The tub is wonderful. It's got the light therapy, the ion negative water jet therapy, and the bubbles. The installers showed me how to work it. The installation was real smooth. They had a system. There was a part where the Jacuzzi that I had and the new one didn't fit. They replaced the sheetrock.

I liked Independent Home's warranty and price. I got a bathtub. My mother was falling. So, that helps her to just sit down to take a shower. I did not have insulation in my house because of age. So, I told them that I will break the outside wall for them for insulation and put a drywall. The guy told me that they could do the drywall for me just on the bathroom side, which was fine with me. I was gonna do the whole thing. The only problem I saw was they brought regular drywall, and not a bathroom one. The salesman was awesome. He explained everything very well. He did a very good job, but the installer brought that wrong drywall. They told me they would do it anyway. It's part of the installation. All I had to do was put the insulation myself, which I did.

Independent Home's reps were really nice and helpful. They got the job done really fast and it was all neat and clean. They were good about explaining how everything worked, too. I like that the walk-in bathtub's door is guaranteed not to leak. I also like that the shower part of it is easy to manipulate and you could hold it in your hand if you wanted to. But it goes up and down a bar, so you could adjust the height. It also has a bigger type of head which is a square.

The tub looks great. We are happy with the tub and the installation, All parts and functions look good at this time looking forward to using the air system, water jet system, light, and the micro bubble system. The walk in bath tub installation was seamless and very quick and the new shower walls look great.

I was told not to go for Independent Home, but I did. They were less expensive and so far, I'm happy with it. It's nice to be able to submerge myself in water. The only thing that I'm not too pleased about is that I like my showers hot. I finally read the instructions and it said that you can't use hot water. They don't advise it. But I'm getting adjusted to having the temperature down just a notch from what I was used to.

When my Independent Home tub was being installed, I excused the first tech they sent and I wouldn't pay. Then they sent a second installer and he absolutely went crazy. He said if I didn't mind, he'd take all the stuff down and start over again. And I told him to go for it. But it turned out that his plumbing installation underneath the tub wasn't done right and the tub doesn't empty all the way. I talked to their rep, Serge, and I got told to get a plumber. And if it turned out to be their problem, they'd pay the bill. The plumber came out and he said he'd do it but chances are, if he did it, it'd void my warranties on the tub, implied or otherwise. So he walked away. But he's writing me an examination report on what he discovered when he examined the tub installation. So I ain't happy and if I had my choice, I'd ask Independent Home to come take their tub back and refund my money.

They seem to be on time and ready to go. They contacted me, came out to the house, and gave me their sales pitch, and I agreed to it. Shortly thereafter, I got a new tub. The sales rep seemed pretty good. The installers took out the old fiberglass shower, put in the new tub, and gave me training. They filled it all up with water and showed me how it worked. They did a good job getting it installed. It didn't take them very long.

The sales representative was great. She answered all my questions. But I had an issue with the guys that installed the tub. Shortly after they left, I used it, and the back where they put the extra shelf in because there was a gap between the wall and the tub, so they put a piece of plastic across it. Then they caulked it, but the caulking was already starting to crack the first time I used it. So I had to have my son-in-law son in law come over and recaulk it because nobody answered their phones over there.

The salesperson from Independent Home explained the product to us and she was nice to talk to. When she was explaining it, she made it more possible. We had a smaller space. She said the technicians would be able to accommodate all that. She sold us. As far as the installation team, the guy who was doing it said it was his first time doing the work. The finishing was really bad. I had to ask him to work on it again. He was such a nice guy. He just needs experience. It was his first time but if I'm paying that much amount of money, I would like a professional to do it.

The rep and I discussed several different companies and their products versus Independent Home’s products. It wasn't biased but factual and I had already done research and it correlated with what they were saying. The basic model of the walk-in tub has a better design and I got it. The installers had to take out the old tub/shower combo unit and put that one in. They left it better than when they started.

Hi **: Well, I cannot give it a 5-star rating, for sure. I would say closer to a 3-star rating overall. Sonja ** was an excellent rep/salesperson. I enjoyed meeting with her and her husband in the original interview before signing up and getting the installation. However, the original date for the install did not happen: Your installer just didn't show up! There was no call to let me know they were not coming; they just didn't show and I wasted my day waiting for them and had to call myself to find out what the heck was going on. A second date was immediately arranged, though you might imagine my hesitation around trusting they would actually show up. But at least I was promised a call this time if another snafu meant I wouldn't be getting the install that day.

I got a walk-in tub/shower. Purchasing it was a really good experience. The rep explained what it was and how it works. It has a locked down warranty. The techs put it in and took my old one out. They cleaned it up in three hours. I can get in my walk-in, close the door and sit down. I can turn the jets on that relieves my back and my shoulders.

The woman that came out initially as well as the people who did the install were very kind. But the installation was a longer process than what I was told initially. I was told it was gonna be a 1-day installation. When the guys came out, they said it was not gonna be one day but most likely two. It was two days for the tub to be installed.

The installers were very polite and efficient. It took two days for them to install the tub. I like sitting in the tub with the hot jets and the ease of getting in and out of it.

The rep was a very nice man. He was very honest and upfront. He explained things thoroughly. I like my new walk-in very much.

I would highly recommend Independent Home. They are reliable and efficient. I liked their price. Also, their rep was very informative and told me everything I needed to know. The installers were also very informative and friendly. I was highly satisfied.

I was disappointed 'cause the tub is so small that I can't move around to really bathe. Also, I had a lot of trouble getting the water regulated with some pressure and temperature. We finally got those under control but overall, I wish I'd gone with a shower. Plus, the shower head is installed so high that I can't reach it. But there's a handheld shower which makes it useable.

I was interested in just cutting out my existing tub and I wanted a new vanity. I looked online and I got all these phone calls. None could do what I wanted. But then Independent Home called and I asked, “Can you cut out to tub?” He said, “No, but we can get you a Jacuzzi with aromatherapy and a walk-in shower that feels like a waterfall.” He just sold me. We ended up talking forever. He was a nice man. He gave me his number and said, “If there's anything you need to ask, whatever, this will get directly to me at the office...”

The rep was knowledgeable and helpful. I didn't feel high pressure from her at all. She had incentives to offer that made it interesting to seriously consider their product. On installation day, we thought the techs would come here early. They arrived about noontime so we were a little worried that the job would run overnight. But they were clean and careful with their installation and they did an excellent job. They stayed into the early evening to complete it and they were done in one day as promised. Everything is hidden behind panels so I can't see what is there. But the caution and care they used in doing the installation left me not concerned about what was going on behind the scenes that would be covered up and I couldn't see.

A rep from Independent Home came out here and explained the product. The installers did a good job and then they cleaned up after themselves. There were two people and it took them about three hours. The tub is nice. It is for my husband because he had a hard time getting in and out of the tub to lift his leg up and lift it over that. He just walks in and sits down on our new one. He thinks it's great.

We went with Independent Home and we were satisfied with it. Somebody came to the home and he was very nice. Also, the installers were very good. They had to come from a long way so they didn't get here until the middle of the day. They worked all that day. They came back the next day and finished up. Cleaned up their mess, worked very efficiently. They did a good job. We were very satisfied. We got a walk-in shower and tub which has a heated seat and lights, we can put aromatherapy stuff in it. We use it every day. I like the jacuzzi part where we turn it on and we could sit and soak.

The sales rep of Independent Home was knowledgeable, told us exactly what we were gonna get and was very friendly. Not pushy. The installation went as he described it. He said it'd take one day. The installers got here about 8:15 and they were done by 3:15. Everything was in place and working. They also had all of their stuff out of the house. However, the walk-in tub is a little bit tight for me ‘cause I'm big. I've also got to get a bigger hot water heater. This one won't put that much water in it. It won't stay hot.

They put the tub in and they did well, except they broke the walls. One of them is in the living room and one of them is in the next bathroom. They gave it over to their insurance company. The insurance company called me and told me to get a contractor. But I haven't been able to get a contractor out here. I still have two broken walls. The plaster is broken. They did it and didn't say anything. I found it. I told them about it and all they did was turn it over to their insurance company. No responsibility whatsoever.

My experience with Independent Home was great. I like their price. A sales rep came to the house and was very good. He knew the product well and he knew the competition's prices. He had brochures about them. The installers were very courteous and professional too. Our tub got the jets, the tidal wave. It has all the stuff you can get in one. It also has a scent in it where you could put incense flavors in.

The sales rep was okay. He made me satisfied. The installers did it all in one day. The tub is great.

I had a walk-in bathtub installed by Independent Home. I like it very much. Was a little on the expensive side. But it's very good and it'll be a lot handy for us because we're up in age. The reps were also very nice, short and sweet, to the point. Got our business done right away and they got it put in all in one day. Didn't leave a mess behind.

The Independent Home guys were slow. They come half a day and come late in the day, although they were about 60 miles away. On some days, there'd be three of them out there, then some days there'd only be one. They were nice guys and worked when they were here, but it's just getting them here. Installation went all right, but my wife wasn't happy with them. Sometimes, it seemed like the installers knew what they were doing, and sometimes, I wasn't sure that they did. I didn't get a good feeling on some of their things like molding around the tub.

We're very pleased with what the installation team did and how they were all very nice. Our bathroom is small and they had to turn the tub around. It was in shambles afterwards but when the techs came back, they fixed it all up. I got a walk-in tub with a shower with it and I love it. We're very satisfied with Independent Home.

I wanted a walk-in tub and I got one with the aromatherapy from Independent Home. It has the wand with the shower, but it's clipped to the tub. There's also a spot for it to go up top if you want a shower. The guys who installed it were unbelievable and the installation didn't take a whole day. Their work is really good quality and the tub is so easy to use.

Someone called me and at the time, our son just died. So I told the rep that I couldn't talk and to give me a couple of weeks. Then he called back two weeks later. I asked him to come out and give us an estimate. We made the down payment and it went from there. We're very satisfied. The sales rep was very nice and helpful. He was respectful and he explained everything fully. The installation was wonderful. I couldn't ask for any better. It was really painless for us. I was really impressed with the people that came to install it and also the representative that sold it. You couldn't ask for any nicer people. I love the tub. I like that I can get into it and I don't have to try to step over the tub. It's beautiful. I'm really pleased with it.

The guy who came was very nice and knowledgeable. He was not pushy at all. He was very easy to deal with. The installation went fine. The people were here at the time they were supposed to be, and the installation didn't take nearly as long as we thought it would. We like the tub. We like the shower. My husband uses the tub part more than I do. He likes that there are more little bubbles in this tub than the Safe Step. He enjoys that.

Independent Home's rep talked highly of the company. He made me feel assured they would do a good job, and he was very courteous and nice. Also, the installers did a good job. I liked the walk-in bath. It felt good.

I got the standard kind of walk-in with the jets from Independent Home and they installed it on the 10th of July. Two men came out and they finished it up in two days. It's nice and I like it. I like the jets in it but the water doesn't get hot all the way until it gets filled all the way up. Other than that, it's convenient to use because I'm getting up in age. I had to take care of my mom when she was 93 and it was hard for us to get her back and forth into the tub. I also started looking into it when she was still alive. But at that time, I didn't have the money to pay for one.

The sales representative was fantastic. She is good at her job. The installation went reasonably well too, except the guy didn't connect all the pipes properly. I had to hire a plumber to come out and connect the pipes. They were connected, but the joints weren't tightened up, so it came apart. I leaked water from around midnight to the next day till I got out there and turned the well pump off. Also, nobody considered this being an older modular trailer and I don't have a big enough hot water tank. I only get water up to about my knees, so I don't use the walk-in tub. I go over to my daughter's place and use their facilities. It's been miserable, and I can't say anything really good about Independent Home 'cause I haven't been able to get anything done. I have to wait until my son-in-law comes from Alaska. He's a pipe fitter, and he'll install a new hot water tank for me. I can't use the walk-in tub, so if I could get rid of that stupid thing, I'd do it in a minute.

I loved my experience with Independent Home, from the salesperson roving all the way down to the workers installing our new tub. They were fast and efficient. When I was making my purchase, I got a call from Rose in Arizona and we talked about the deal. She said she would get me set up then I got an appointment with Roven. He was a top-notch salesman. He was polite and considerate of all our needs because my husband is going blind and has dementia. So, this is tub going to help me tremendously with his showers. I also love soaking in the tub, and I like the jets and aromatherapy. The quality is great, too. But I'm a short fat woman and the door needs to be about 2 inches wider for my bug butt to get through. But I squirm in there and when I sit down, there she blows and I can't say enough about it. I have been telling everybody to go with Independent and that they wouldn't go wrong with them.

The salesman, Francis, explained everything well. He was the deciding factor in going with Independent Home. The only thing we wanted was to see the tub before we bought it. All I saw were pictures and things on TV, but they were not the same. Also, it took so long for them to get the tub in and finish. They took a whole day to just get the old tile out and took a whole nother day to put it in.

Everything went well in my experience with Independent Home. The rep came in and he looked at it and said they could do it and came out. They said it was gonna be done in two days and it took them two days to do it. I was happy. The quality of the walk-in tub is great. I like the massage, the jets that get in your back when you sit down and loosen your back muscles. It makes my back feel better. Independent Home is a good company that others should go with.

The sales rep was excellent and very professional. He explained everything and I understood it very well. The installation went perfectly and I love the walk-in tub. The only thing I don't like is that the jets through the back could be a little strong. If I could get Independent Home to give me some plugs to use in the back, it would be a great help. But mine doesn't have the little round metal. It's just a little hole.

The techs took my front door out but they damaged both sides of the frame. Now there's a 1/4-inch gap on both sides. I have to spend $75 on a metal thing to put around the door. Even with that, the wind still comes through. Winter is gonna be terrible. Also, they were supposed to replace the frame in the bathroom. They charged me but they didn't do it saying it was not in the contract. What they left was a mess. I called Independent Home to complain and tell them what the techs did and to this day, they haven't called me back. They don't answer my phone calls either. The tub is okay but they didn't do the rest of the stuff they were supposed to do. I’m a disabled veteran. The VA was gonna pay for it, but now the VA won't pay.

Installation went well and the crew was very nice. They got the job done in six hours, and they walked through everything with me. They did a heck of a good job, except I can't tell how they missed things on the hot water. When I went to get in the tub after they left, I had no hot water, so I had to stop. It was during the evening, so I waited till the next day to call Independent Home. I told them I didn't have any hot water and the rep said he'd get back to get somebody over there. The repairman came and got it fixed right away. They were very professional and good.

I live in a house that was built in 1969 and the old tub that was in there was a thick cast iron tub. The Independent Home installer broke that up and took it all out, cleaned up and did everything perfectly. It took a day and a half, and the quality of work was excellent. He also explained everything he was gonna do, and after he was finished, he went over everything he did as well as showed us how to use the tub and what everything was for. He did a fantastic job, and it's a great tub. It's very relaxing. I'm 79 years old and I have a little arthritis and some lower back pain. When I get in that tub and then come out of there, I am so relaxed and without pain. It is a fantastic system. If someone's interested in a tub, Independent Home is the place to go.

It was a very good experience with Independent Home. They were very easy to get along with. The guy that came out was very knowledgeable to sell it to us. Our tub has the aroma feature and the jets.

My experience with Independent Home has been good. Another company couldn't do what I wanted to do, but Independent Home could. The people that did the installation were experienced in what they were doing. They came in and they did it efficiently and quickly. I like that I can sit down in the tub and it's like a jacuzzi. It operates preferably for what I need at my age.

I am having some issues with my tub, but I called Independent Home and spoke with Jose. The problem is that it's too small. If I wanna take a shower, I can stand up, but I can barely move around. There's no room from the wall to the door. And when I try to open the door, I have to back up, sit down, and then stand up to try to get out. The width of the door is not wide enough. My salesman referred me to some guy up in New Jersey. He said he would get back to me. I'm afraid to get in it because when I try to take a shower, it's too scary. I can't move. If something happened to me, they wouldn't be able to open the door to get me out. The door doesn't open out, it opens in. I don't wanna get stuck in there and not be able to get out.

I set up an appointment for Independent Home's salesman to come by and talk to me. That experience went well. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. I was well-satisfied with his visit. It was very informative, and Independent Home was probably the best one to sign up for. They did everything he said. I'm satisfied with the price, too. The installation team was excellent. They knew what they were gonna do. They just fell in here and did it in one day. I've used both the bath and the shower. I like the air bubbles. To take a bath requires a lot of water unless you don't fill it all the way up, but I'm satisfied with the way it works. It's everything it's supposed to be.

Independent Home sent a salesman to my home and he was juat an information salesman. I didn't feel any pressure whatsoever. Their price was excellent. They were less than half the price of Kohler. I'm a construction guy and I saw what the installers did and I'm happy with it. They did a good job of installing the tub. It seems to work very good so I'm very happy with it. It's a shower with a seat. I can go in, sit down and wash my hair. The fact that you can just walk in and close the door is the best feature. Other than that, the handheld shower is the feature that I like the best. It's excellent. The power drain wasn't included but I got it. It should be included because it would be really slow to drain if it didn't have that. It was just $600 but I'm glad I bought it. It was worth it.

Our Independent tub has jets, bubbles and a heater. It's okay, but it's not finished yet. The first crew that installed it was good. They got here at 9:00 and stayed till 5:00. The second crew was one single guy to finish up but he never finished it. He ran out of molding. He tried putting caulking in it, but he said, "Can you finish this up?" I said, "No." The way the walls meet on the corner of the tub is not straight either. It looks cheap.

Their salesperson Heather was great. She explained what the tub could do and asked me why I was looking for a walk-in. She gave me all the options and answered all my questions. The installation was perfect. The techs took everything out and put everything in. They cleaned up the whole time they were working. After the product was in, the tech demoed everything and explained what things did. I love my new tub. I'm gonna make it my personal jungle in there and put artificial vines. I'll soak with my candles, light therapy and aromatherapy. When I use it, I'm very relaxed. I really enjoyed the experience. I learned a lot and was pleasantly surprised about the whole thing.

I didn't like the price of Independent Home. They're overpriced. Also, the rep told us it'd be a one day installation but it took them three days and the installers weren't professionals. They didn't know much English. They also put the wrong caulking around the tub. But Brian was good. He was right there with them. Then his brother came out, finished the floor and redid the caulking. Another thing, too, when I got in the tub, I ran out of hot water. Brian turned the hot water heater up for me and he said if anything ever goes wrong with the tub he would fix it.

Installer was great. Polite, friendly and knowledgeable. He arrived on time. Explained and demonstrated everything that the tub does. I think I'm going to really enjoy using it. This has been a wonderful experience....

Riaz and Dave were excellent workers. They arrived on time and got straight to work. When a problem arose, Riaz was very professional and handled it. Before leaving my property, he gave me instructions on the proper usage and all the dos and don'ts....

I was looking around and trying to compare the different tubs, cost and services, and then, I got a call from Independent Home and they said they could come out and make a presentation of their tub. The sales rep was really nice, very straightforward, and not high pressure. He said the price that we agreed on was only good for that day, and I said, "Well, too bad. I've gotta do some comparisons and some checking." He said, "That's okay." Then, I called him back on Monday and said, "I'd like to maybe go ahead with this." It was all fine. The installation was good and quick. The people that did it were clean and efficient. It was a little surprising because I was sure they were gonna have to make the door opening bigger, but they didn't. They cleaned up after themselves. They were in at 8:00 and out by 4:00.

When I talked to the rep with Independent Home, he explained everything to me satisfactorily and answered my questions. He was thorough and allowed us to elaborate on what he was saying. The installation went very well. They got here a little after 8:00 and went straight to work. They put cloth down on the floor and the area that they would be working in. They went to lunch then came right back. It was 4:00 when they were finished. They swept up any debris that was on the floor after they put the tub in. We thought the tub was gonna be bigger but it isn't because of how big our bathroom is. Other than that, we're very happy with it. I've already talked to my daughter about getting one.

The aggressive sales pitch promised, among other things, in-house installation. However, installation was done by a single third-party contractor who could barely move the tub about (tubs are heavy). He failed to correctly install the drain, and the tub was always left with standing water - a difficult situation when the door needs to open to leave the tub. We repeatedly attempted to reach the company but never got a call back. After repeated attempts and many weeks, the drain was never fixed. The tub itself was okay, but dimensions for the doorway were never disclosed and a heavier person cannot easily get into or out of the (14") door.

Arrived on time. Very easy to get along with. Kept us advised of what they were doing. They were very professional and they worked well as a team. Cleaned up their mess. Did some extras that the salesman didn't have listed. Explained the working of the tub and made sure we understood how to use it. Would recommend them to anyone that needed work done.

We got a shower-tub combo from Independent Home and it's the top-of-the-line. It's got everything except music. The installation went very smoothly and the guy who came out was very experienced. He did a fantastic job and I'm pretty hard to please. It took two days but it would have been just one day except somehow, between the sales and whoever shipped the tub, they didn't get the memo that we didn't want the shower feature for a couple of reasons. One, my aunt does not do showers, so it's not needed. She’s a clean freak too and she didn't want to be looking at that piping going up. Equally as big as that is when you get the shower attachment on there, the handheld wand is not the same. Then, it attaches to that shower piping apparatus and the hose off of the handheld wand just swings down into the tub in view all the time.

Sonia is a very nice and thorough person. The installation was a little rough. We had a water leak that Independent home don't know about yet. Also, the heated seat isn't working. The rep said he was gonna have somebody come out and fix it. Also, I'm having a little bit of an issue with the water being cold. It's never warm enough in the very beginning. So I was very disappointed with that because I usually can take a nice shower, but now, it's kind of cold shower. But the tub itself is very nice, except there are some issues that I gotta talk to Independent about. You push the jets off, and then a half hour later, I'm in another room and I hear this sound. I had to come in and hold that button.

I liked the presentation that Independent Home made as well as the price. The representative was thorough in asking me a lot of questions about my health and the size to make sure that the specific tub was a good fit for me. The walk-in tub has a heated seat, the whirlpool jets, air jets and water jets. It’s got a wave function and the ozonator cleaning system. It's got an in-line heater to keep it warm while you're running. It also has chromotherapy and the aromatherapy has little drop-in canisters that you put in. They gave us two canisters to start. I would like to get a headrest pillow type for the back though. The interaction with the installers was fairly well. One of them was in a hurry, so he wasn't gonna put in one of the pony walls and the backsplash. I had to slow him down and get him to do what was agreed to, originally. We had the back shelf and we had to talk to him about that. The quality is great.

Their salesman did some measuring and told us what was involved. I told him at the time that I gotta call some other companies too. I called Safe Step and Kohler but their products didn't have the features that Independent Home's product had. Independent Home also beat them as far as the price goes. I got the Dignity model and it has two massagers up high that massage my shoulders. It has 10 jets on it and an air bubbler that puts microbubbles into the air. The microbubbler has all these teeny-tiny little bubbles that get in there and it's like my water is bubbling in effervescent.

In the beginning, our experience with Independent Home was not so good. But they took care of everything and worked with us. At first, we had to change the days of the installers coming a few times. But when they came, they came a little bit late. And the guys that came, came from a long distance. When they first got here, they were starving because they were on a long trip to get here, so they needed food. But still, they did their work and they were very happy. Those guys were great. But they were tired and they left us with a big mess. My husband and I cleaned it all up, and they gave us money back from what we paid to cover the work that we had to do.

All of the people involved in this whole process with Independent Home were extremely personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. I enjoyed working with them. The installers did everything that they said they were going to do in the approximate time they gave it. However, the original tub was destroyed in transit and we had to wait three weeks to get a new one. The walk-in is bigger than I thought it would be but other than that, we got the baseline and with all the features, we're rather pleased with it.

I wanted to be sure to acknowledge the courteous and knowledgeable installers we had for our new Dignity Spa. My husband has NEVER seen such great work done on anything we have had installed in our home. Our salesperson Dee, took great care to explain everything to us both. Also, Jerry and Allen solved any other issues and questions, quickly and to our satisfaction. Independent Home is highly recommended by us!

We looked at the different products that the different tubs used and it looked like Independent Home had the best base product. They also seemed to have good service response. And they had some nice features in their tub. The rep was on time, which is always good. She had some good visuals and she talked about the different parts of the tub, which we were interested in. And when we started looking at cost, she was able to come up with a good package for us.

The people who installed the tub were on time and very nice. Did a great job of making everything look good. I would recommend these guys to anyone. They made us feel comfortable when they arrived and walked us through the tub when they were done. I'm looking forward to tomorrow when I can get in my tub and relax.

The sales rep from Independent Home was very nice and polite, and there was no demand that I get a walk-in tub. The installers came in and looked at the bathroom and decided what they were gonna do and went right to work doing it. They were fast, quick and very efficient. They cleaned up everything. I've only used the walk-in tub about three times because I had to wait and get a water heater put in. At first, the water was a little muddy but after everything settled down, it's very clear now, so I like it. When I use it, it helps me to relax. My legs hurt me all the time and I have a lot of trouble with my back and it seems to just hit the spot. The walk-in tub got rid of some of my leg and back pain and made me more motivated to move around better. The installers put it in some railing for me to hold on to, so that makes all the difference. I get up and I can hold on to my railing, and pull myself up.

The Independent Home rep was very nice and helpful. She took measurements to determine what size tub we could put in there. She also checked the water heater to make sure that it would have enough hot water. The installers were also very polite. When they left, the tub was usable. But, I'm not so sure it was good to go as soon as they left, because my son noticed that we were getting some knocking noises when we turned the water on. He said that could be a sign of loose pipes or the wrong size pipe. He does construction work. I was going to ask the firm if they could send somebody out to check the installation of the pipes and make sure that everything is tight and put together correctly. But I had a stroke and I had difficulty getting into tubs. Now, I can get into it without too much difficulty. It has jets and it has grab bars. It's nice to be able to sit in the tub again. The price was also a lot lower than what I've been quoted elsewhere.

The sales rep of Independent Home was very friendly and I felt comfortable. However, my experience was not great with them because it took four days to put the tub in. We had to go to a hotel. But the tub from Independent Home has a seat and it has jets. It also has a handle on it. It has a handheld shower thing. I like the accessibility getting into it and the jets have helped my back quite a bit. It drains fine and it fills up fine. I just enjoy it. It also takes an hour or so to do the cleaning that they're supposed to do once a month.

The sales rep of Independent Home was good. My installation was great, but the installers didn't finish. I still have a hole in my wall. They had to take an outlet out and they plastered it up, but they didn't smooth it out or finish it or paint it. But I like the tub. I like to get a hot bath. It’s nice.

The sales rep of Independent Home was wonderful. She was fun and casual and we had a good time talking. The guys that came out were really great and were very professional. They made me feel relaxed. The product made me very safe too.

Everything went smoothly with Independent Home. The sales rep was honest and forthright. The installation also went very well. So far, I like our walk-in tub. It's what I was looking for and I like that it makes it safer to take showers and soak. But I am not really thrilled with the aromatic feature because it's not very effective.

The tub is fine but it's expensive.

I had other companies come over and I didn't like their salesman. They're too pushy. Our neighbor said they got a walk-in tub from Independent Home and I said, "Well, give me the name." I called her and she came out and she was not pushy at all. She was very friendly, a great salesman, and we got the product at a good price. The installation was great. They got it done in one day. They explained everything to me and they filled the tub up for me and showed me how to do all the buttons. They told me to give them a call if I had any questions. It was so smooth.

The agent that came from Independent Home was persuasive. She had information but did not have a correct picture of the tub so I did not know what the tub was like. I'm 89 years old and stepping up and moving around in that step-in tub is not the way I expected. I paid a lot of money for it but it's not what I wanted. You don't see the tub until it's installed. That was when I could see how high the step-in is and how small the foot space in the tub is. When you're in there, you don't have a lot of room to move around. I am able to wash myself in it, but it's not comfortable. I'm not a happy consumer. I wish there's a way I could get it taken out and get my money back. But the grab bars are good. If it weren't for the grab bars, I would not be able to use it at all.

It was almost $15,000 cheaper through Independent Home for the exact same tub with another company and when we found out that Independent Home manufactured the tubs that they sold, that was the tipping point. The tub we bought from them perfectly fits our very small bathroom. My husband's a big guy and he's loving it. It has the hydrotherapy system with two-speed therapeutic air jets. It has an aromatherapy you can add, but we decided we weren't going to do that. It's oversized, with a two-inch drain, and has a grab bar, chrome, Roman faucet, handles, and extendable hand round shower. We got slip resistant flooring, too. We have the soft touch controls and this thing automatically has a five-minute drying cycle after you've used the jets and you've drained the tub. So it blows out all that excess water and doesn't clog up with build-up from your water. Here in Arizona, our water is very hard, so that's a nice feature.

Independent Home called and had the best price. But the installation has been terrible. The hot water wasn't working for two weeks. I couldn't use the tub. I finally got ahold of my salesperson who came out immediately and got it taken care of. He's been right at the top. The valve was installed wrong. He had to call a private plumber out to fix it. But I'm getting ready to call him now because one of the panels is falling off next to the door. They've come out fast for everything I've asked them to do. But there should be some compensation for not being able to use the tub when I paid this much money.

I got the tub from Independent Home and the quality seems good. But I wasn't the happiest with the door. They had to give me a different door because the door to my bathroom wasn't wide enough for a walker to go in. They didn't do the best job with adding a little bit of a wood here and there for the trims. But other than that, it's okay.

The representative that came to our house was really great. She was very efficient. She recommended a bathtub that has aromatherapy and lights that changed the color of the water. It also has an air spray, a water spray and a shower, and it's much cheaper than a side step-in. The installers were wonderful too. They were very quick, knowledgeable, cleaned up their messes afterwards (not that they made that many) and put the furniture back in the bathroom. It's a very small bathroom. I like the bathtub. My daughter and I use it every day, and even if we just use it as a bathtub or a shower, we've enjoyed it. On the other hand, my husband doesn't have a big enough shower space for him to stand in. He's having to sit and use the handheld part of it.

I got somehow screwed up. They were supposed to carry the note with zero interest for 18 months but I had to pay for it. It was my fault. I'm getting old and I was overwhelmed a little bit here. But the gal, Kelly, who sold the tub to me was a real pro. The tub is fabulous too. It's a really nice one. It has air, bubbles and hot. It has a shower in there. It also never leaks. The fill-up time is quite a bit, but the drain time is perfect. It has a 2-inch drain pipe all the way home. The surround around the tub, the installer had to hurry that. And it's a little bit low too. But I'm gonna put in a nice wooden surround around it and it'll be okay.

I had a good experience with Independent Home. They put the tub in. It took them eight hours. I like everything about the tub. The size is good.

I like the overall package offered by Independent Home. There was cohesiveness to the whole plan. The rep was also very competent. She knew what she was talking about. She knew what we needed and what we didn't need. The installers were also really good. They had the demolition done and the new thing in four hours. But they could have cleaned up a little bit more around where they were working. We had a kick plate at the door. We had them leave some of the trimmings off the door. And took the door with them because we're going to put a handicap door in there where the door that they took out in that room is. And they didn't clean up the stone particles out of the grout. But I like, on top of the water treatment, hydrotherapy, the aromatherapy, which helps a lot in different things.

The rep seemed to be pleasant and respectful. The rep represented Independent Home's tub well. She went over everything. She told us all the good stuff about it. It was fast and easy. The price is in the range that I would expect it to be. And the installers were good. The only thing that was miscommunicated was the fact that we didn't have an electrical outlet where they needed to access it. So, it took two days to install instead of one. The installers were able to go through the bedroom. Our house is laid out oddly. They were able to go through the closet behind the tub and go through into the bedroom plug into that outlet.

The reps were polite and the installers were hard-working. You could tell they knew what they were doing. They got the installation done in five hours, cleaned up their mess and left. I got the walk-in tub for my mom and she's still hesitant to use it because it has so many bells and whistles. It's sort of overwhelming and it might have been too much. But she needs it because she can't get out of the bathtub. I haven't tried it myself but I want to. They're very expensive. Although compared to everybody else, it was good. It was an overall positive experience with Independent Home and I'm glad we did it.

I went with Independent Home because the salesman was very kind and thorough, and he saw that my plate was full, and he worked around our schedule. One time, my husband had an accident and he told me, "No, please go take care of him. I can wait," which a lot of people say, "I'm out of here. Call me when you have a better day or whatever." He stayed and waited, and he was really kind. When you're living this, you appreciate any kindness that is extended to you. So right then and there, I knew that I wanted to go with this company. I have recommended this company.

I was very impressed with the people that installed the tub. They didn't do a few things that I thought they should do, but they're minor. They had to take the door case off, and when they put it back, some of the paint had peeled off or chipped off. They couldn't do anything because they put caulk there and paint is not gonna go over that. But it's not bad. They did an outstanding job. The installer was very efficient in what he did. He had to do everything so it really slowed him down. But if I had anything else to do with my house, I would call him. I really liked him.

The lady that was here was very accommodating and thorough. Then, the two men that installed the tub did a good job. It was thoroughly done and the tub looks great.

The sales rep who sold us our Independent Hone walk-in tub was friendly, seemed to be honest, and answered all our questions. The installer, Jay, came out and immediately got to work. It was good and using the tub is a relaxing bathing experience. It has some health benefits, too.

The Independent Home rep was very nice. It took three weeks to set up the appointment, and then it didn't take the installers very long at all to install the tub. They were very nice. My husband loves the tub. I am so short, I feel like I'm gonna drown, though. I also wish they had a heater to keep the water warm. But the quality of the tub is very nice.

The Independent Home Tub was a little bit pricey. But to me, it's worth it because I can't get out of the bathtub. The sales rep that came out was nice, professional and very informative. The installation took one and a half days. The installer did a good job. I like that I can walk in, sit down and turn the water on, and be able to sit there and take a bath. Takes a little while to get the thing filled up, though. Also, we've got a little bit of a problem in the back wall where the silicone or the caulking is trying to work away from the wall.

The Independent Home sales rep, Eric, was very nice. I liked his knowledge of the walk-in tub and what it did. He explained everything and we watched a video about it. So he was really thorough. For the installation, two people came out and it didn't take them a very long time. But our door was so narrow, so they had to take it down to get their stuff in. But they didn't put the door back because it wasn't their job and I didn't like that. My husband agreed with them on that because it was going to be an additional cost, but I don't care whether there was an extra charge or not. Also, we're paying 12,000 for that tub yet we couldn't get a correct door up there. And where is the senior discount? After the installation, the installers went through everything and showed us how to do stuff. But you don't remember everything when they first show you.

The sales rep from Independent Home was very thorough. The crew that installed the walk-in tub was also very nice and clean. The only problem was that they needed to call an electrician to hook up the jets as they were not able to run the electric themselves. So, it ended up taking a month for the project to be finished and we were disappointed about that. Also, the head of the installation crew didn't communicate. I texted and called him. I then called Independent Home corporate office and they said they would try to get ahold of him. They weren't able to get ahold of him. So, if he had just communicated to me that he was waiting on an electrician, it would have been better. But there was radio silence for quite a while and that was frustrating. Other than that, the walk-in has been installed for two weeks now and so far, my mother likes it.

It went smoothly with Independent Home. The rep was very thorough. He explained everything well. They walked me through how to use it as well. But one of the things that needs to be tweaked is they need to do more instructions in their paperwork.

Our Independent Home sales woman told us several things that were blatantly false. She bragged about the heated air jets, making them sound so much better than their competition. But they blow cold, always, and are not impressive. I paid an extra $500 for "Micro Bubbles" which are supposedly good for eczema. I see no difference between the bubbles coming out of this tub and any other air blowing system. But ultimately I will never really know if they help because the tub is simply too big, and takes far too long to fill. She bragged about that too, about how big it is. She told us that our 50 gallon water heater would be fine. And both my wife and I THOUGHT she sold us a booster just in case.

Independent Home explained everything thoroughly and we were satisfied with it. They sent a professional crew, did the job, and handled everything in a very professional manner.

The sales rep was very, very nice. He knew the product and wasn't pushy. The installers were very good too. The work took two days. They cleaned up after themselves after the first day and the second day, and let us know what was going on along the way. I went with the Destiny and it had everything that I wanted in it. It had the jets, the bubblers, aromatherapy, and chromotherapy.

I googled some things and Independent Home found me. Their reps were both very friendly and we both came from the same area. I got what I was looking for, for the price I was looking for it, and I went with them. I had to have the installation delayed a little until I closed on the home I was buying. When that happened, the install team was fantastic. I like the tub very well. There were a couple of questions and I already called out to the salesman and he's checking into things and taking care of it.

I was having difficulty getting out of my regular Jacuzzi. The sales rep from Independent Home was very good and I was very pleased with him. He seemed to give me a decent price compared to other places that I checked. The installers were very good too. I like the hydroair button of the tub that puts oxygen into the water. I also like the colors that change and I like the wave. It gives me some Jacuzzi relief without flashing all over.

I was told that Independent Home was American-made. I got their walk-in tub and it has everything such as spas, jets, and a heated seat. The installation was all right, other than they measured wrong and the tub wouldn't go into the bathroom. They had to cut a hole in the living room wall to get it in. They’re supposed to send me $500 but I haven't seen that yet. That aside, I love having the tub and being able to soak.

The installers did a good job and the work was an all-day deal. The only thing is the tub uses too much hot water. I can't fill it up and get my back massage because I run out of hot water before it gets that full. I can only fill it up to my knees. They took my old showerhead and put a new one on and the pressure is about half of what the one I had before. I'd like to get my old showerhead back. Also, one of the safety bars is not where I really would like it. That aside, I would recommend Independent Home.

After I had already bought the walk-in tub, made plans for it and made a deposit on it, I probably got 10 calls and people wanted to know if I wanted to buy one from Independent Home. It was very strange. But when the guys put it in, they did a great job. I had a doctor's appointment and I told them that I had to leave and they showed my son-in-law how to use it. But there's a lot to it and he didn't remember everything. So, I called to see if somebody could come out and show me how to use it and nobody did. They gave us directions but they were bad. We still got a couple of questions about it. Still, I love the walk-in tub. It’s wonderful. I just wish I completely understood it. It’s pretty, comfortable and well-made. It’s everything I hoped it would be. I just wanna make sure I'm not doing something wrong or I'm missing something.

The representative went through everything with us. We got the tub installed in four weeks. The installers were super. They put up a seat in there for my husband who had a stroke. That helps a lot. Independent Home did a great job. I was very pleased with them. The quality of the tub is very good.

The installers were great. In three hours, they were through. The quality of the tub is absolutely fantastic.

When my husband gets out of the tub, he says he feels very relaxed. My husband really enjoys it. I use the shower and it's also good. It has the handheld thing too.

Ava had a video and she was explaining what Independent Home and the other ones did in comparison. She did a good job and we decided to get the walk-in tub while she was here. The first guy got here at 10 after 7:00 and another guy came about 20 minutes later. They took the doorframe off of the bathroom, got the other tub out and then brought the Independent Home walk-in tub in. They did all the work, tested it and explained it to us. They were out of here by 1:30.

Awful company. Had an appointment scheduled and confirmed twice, last time a day before the appointment, which has been moved 30 minutes later Nobody showed up, nobody called. nothing. Tried to reach them today, 2 different phone numbers, nobody picked up, no answering service, nothing. 3 hours later caught the guy from 888 number on the website, tried to find out what has happened, he told me that I have never confirmed the appointment. When I told him that this is **, he just hanged up on me. That was an attempt to install walk-in bath tub, multi-thousand dollars job, which they have reached me for. Had an appointment with Kohler, they guy from Koehler called, showed up and we have an installation appointment. On top of that, Independent Home website says that they are BBB accredited with A+ rating, they are no BBB accredit, liars on top of all that.

It took forever to get the tub and the shower in. They were supposed to come on a date before Christmas and had it done because we had family coming in. For some reason, they couldn't do it that day and it was after Christmas before we could have it done. We were down to one bathroom with about 20 people. That was kind of rough. Then, once they finally got an appointment date, they put the tub in first and then redid the shower a month later. Then it quit working for a bit. It wouldn't come on when we push the button. Nobody ever came. My husband had to call and they walked him through it. It's working and I love it. I can bathe again. The quality is good. I like that it drains fast and I'm not sitting in there freezing. Also, I like the jacuzzi thingies and the little bubbles. I feel better and cleaner using the tub, although the door is a little small. I'm a big woman and it's hard to get in and out of it because there's very little room.

When I get into the tub, there is a lever that I have to paddle and the arthritis in my hands and arms creates a problem for that. It's a struggle when I get it as well as when I get out. But that's not Independent Home’s fault. The tub is nice and I like that I can push this little lever and I have hot water. Move over, then I got cold water. I've got a shower and I can sit down and wash my feet, which is okay. I've had several members and friends take a look at the tub and one of them said they couldn't afford it. I can understand that. This was my Christmas present to me from me.

I called Independent Home, they sent a representative out, we went over everything, they gave me a quote, and I said okay and we got the walk-in bathtub. It got the jets. The installers were very professional.

I'm on the first floor of a condominium and it's a multistory building. Other companies were not interested in putting any kind of plumbing in for fear of something with the other condominiums above me. I met the Independent Home's rep once and he came up with an offer for me. We signed the paperwork and a few weeks later, two wonderful guys installed the walk-in tub. It was very nice. The only thing was they could have done a better job cleaning up after themselves.

The installers were professional and did a wonderful job. They left me their numbers too. If I have any problem, they said to call them and they would come out. I like all the things about the tub as well.

We were looking at the pricing of walk-in tubs. Independent Home called me and purchasing a tub from their dealer was excellent. The process was completely easy and very simple. Everybody was wonderful. My mom has dementia and the walk-in tub was just a safer way to help support her with a caregiver. I would recommend Independent Home to a friend and probably use them again.

The installation of my Independent Home tub was good. However, the plumber had the water pipes underneath the drain, which should have been the other way around. I had somebody come to fix that. I had mentioned that to one of the guys who wanted to know what was the one thing that they did that they could have done better. The tub is also a lot taller than what I had expected, which meant I had to get another hot water heater. But it's good. I did the hydro jets and the bubbles and my body felt energized when I got out. The bubbles have a motor, and then the hydro jets have another motor. So, you're running two motors and it's powerful.

The sales rep of Independent Home was fun. He was really a nice guy. He still would call us every now and then to check in with us, "How's your tub?" And I'd say, "It's great." The installers were also really respectful and they communicated with us. I like that it's easier to get my mom in the tub. She can either take a tub bath or she can take a shower. The quality of the tub is great. Best thing we ever did.

The rep was a polite, nice-looking gentleman. He and I worked out a deal. He did everything I wanted to do. Also, the installation was perfect. I like everything about the tub, but I have problems with the house. We only have one water tank. It's a 30-gallon. And that thing takes a lot of water. So, I'll fix that. Other than that, everything is working out perfectly. At the age of 70, everyone needs a tub that they can sit and soak in. I have a big tub. I get in and can’t get out.

I have tile and it's still in good condition, so they didn't remove unnecessarily any of it during the installation. They worked with it, put the tub in, and fit it into the tile that was already there. They worked fast and did a neat job. It looks pretty good. What I like about the walk-in tub is it fits me just right. I use it once in a while as far as all the air and the water agitation, which is why I got it originally. I could use a massage a little bit. But the tub takes so long to fill up. I like to use it as a shower.

The Independent Home agent that came out here was really nice and helpful. We liked the experience. The installers were also excellent, did a really good job and stayed until they got the walk-in tub put in. Didn’t have to come back two or three times.

The Independent Home installers were supposed to be here, but they didn't show up. They called and said they were gonna be here, then they were late, but that was okay. When they put the frame back on the door, they ripped a bit of the wallpaper. Other than that, they did a good job and I like the walk-in bathtub. I use it three times a week. I don't use it every night because it takes a lot of water. Also, it doesn't seem to keep the water hot while you're in there and I need some of the fragrance refill. However, I gave my pamphlet away because some friends of ours came down and were interested.

The installation is still kind of happening because there was some damage done. They got the tub in somehow backwards so they had to turn it around. I have a very small bathroom and as a result, there was damage done to the one wall and they broke my vanity. But they were very good about it. The told me and apologized. They had planned on going to Home Depot and getting a replacement but they didn't have what I ordered so they had to place an order with Home Depot. The installer is coming by on Friday to finish that. Other than that, it was fine.

A neighbor of mine had a tub put in through Independent Home and I saw it and I could tell it was good quality, and the price they had paid for it was a good price. I got the same tub that my neighbor had gotten. It has all the features I was looking for. The representative came and measured and looked at the tub that was being replaced. He said that he would give me the same price as he had given the people where I saw the tub the first time. It was all handled very well. There was no high pressure but a good job of explaining everything. I paid a deposit and I paid the balance to the installers when they came to install a few weeks later. They were scheduled so I knew they would be there. They came on time and were very courteous and careful with what they did. They did not leave a mess and did a very nice job of installing and finishing the tub.

The reps were very knowledgeable and helpful. I was impressed with the installation. The installers got the walk-in tub right in there well and did a good job. I recommend Independent Home to anybody all the time. I like my Epsom salt bath. It's very good and I enjoy it. It's my own private Jacuzzi. It was at a good price, especially with seniors.

I'm loving the walk-in bathtub but I had a problem before where the water wasn't getting hot enough. I was trying to get in touch with one of the guys. Then, I talked to a rep on the fourth day and I told her that if they don't get in touch with me by the next day, I would get a lawyer. The girl called me back that evening and told me that the guys would be over here in a day and that she would make sure of that. Everything went all right after that and they finally got two guys to come over and had it adjusted.

I went with three different companies and Independent Home offered the best deal. The sales representative was good. He was friendly and he explained things. The installers took a good day. They were gonna carry the tub down the hall but when they got here, they said they couldn't get it down the hall. They had to go in there in my laundry room and take out the wall that was right there between there and the bathroom and slide the tub in that way. They did a good job putting the wall back and everything back. The model that was put in has fewer jets in it. Other than that, I'm really enjoying the tub. I like that I can walk in it and sit down and don't have to climb over the edge of the tub to get in. This is gonna help me a lot with taking baths. I'm completely satisfied with it.

My salesperson, Francis, was amazing and patient and the guys who came to put it in, Joe and Mike, were great.

So we need to get a new water heater. I can only get a half a tub and they need to do something about that.

Independent Home called me and the salesman sounded so positive and decent. He just asked if he could come to my house and show me their tub. I said yes because I was interested in getting a step-in tub. And I knew that they were expensive, but I haven't gone around looking for them. He set a date. The reps were on time, came out, and were very cordial. And it sounded like such a good deal that I went with it. Four people installed the tub, made sure it ran all right and showed me how to run it. They came at nine o'clock and they were out of here at around 5:00. They were clean, and they cleaned up after themselves. They took out the trash that they had made, and cleaned up well. The one guy was so nice. He was so nice that I liked him so much.

There are two buttons on that I don't know what for. And it's not in the instructions. One button is for making it drain fast. The other button, I'm not sure. But I like the Jacuzzi features and the air jets.

I got a call from a nice lady. She set me up an interview with a guy who offered a lot better deal than the other deal was. Independent Home beat the other's price immensely. So, I went ahead and took it. However, I've never received my bill. I can't do paperless or electronic. I gotta have paper. Because I live in rural West Virginia and you might send me an email today, I might get it in three days or next week. So, I need paper so I can pay. Also, there's a lot of stuff that is left over that I thought Mike would have come back to do, but he hasn't. The main tall shower is leaking because it doesn't have the two plastic connectors forced down better. Other than that, everything works great. I can take a big bath if I want to. If I'm gonna use the shower, I just use a little handheld one now. It helps my legs a lot.

I liked Independent Home's product. I've only gotten for one tub ride so far. It was nice on the leg. It takes a lot of hot water to get started, but that's okay. My wife likes it. And we're very happy that we went ahead and made the jump, because my wife is unable to get in and out of a tub without help. Plus, all the bells and whistles, and the bubbles and jets. If you wanna do your hair in the tub, that little hose thing is great. So, we're glad we got it.

I bought the expensive 33x55 tub. It has more air and jets than the other ones. It has everything they make including the heated seat. But it took the installers a whole day to get it in the house and get it set. Other than that, they did a good job for me. I was satisfied with the work they did. Everything was legit by me.

The installation went great. I had a problem and I had to contact them but they're taking care of me. They're doing a good job so far and the tub's great. It works as advertised.

The sales process was okay. Independent Home was the best company that came out here and they were no pressure. The salesperson was very knowledgeable, very friendly, and gave every appearance of being trustworthy and of the company being trustworthy too. Also, the installation was no problem. They installed it in one day and they did all the modifications they needed to do and cleaned up after themselves. I've had no problems with the tub and it's sealed well. The shower is a nice feature and the faucet is capable of putting out a lot of water in a hurry so the tub doesn't take forever to fill up. It drains very quickly too. Independent Home has contacted me to check to see if I'm satisfied. They've done that three times, which is a very good follow-up.

The sales rep was really nice and he gave a lot of information. The installers were real nice too. They did their work, cleaned up, and left. I use a walker, so the walk-in tub helps me out a lot.

My wife doesn't fit well in the bathtub. It's going to be removed and they're gonna put in a walk-in shower for her. I had to go through quite a few times to try to get ahold of somebody to get back to me but once we did, they were working on it.

The sales rep was really nice. We set up a time for the installation so both my husband and I were there, and he was really nice in talking to us. It was such a fast process. We met with him for a couple of hours. He measured our bathroom and then we did the application, got approved, and it was not even two weeks later when they were installing the tub. It was incredibly quick.

When Randy from Independent Home came in, he was nice and personal, and knowledgeable. So I just told him, "You know what? I don't know if I can afford it. I don't want to really do this. I don't want to spend this money." It was 15,000. It's what he quoted me. He said, "If you are making a deal with me today, you get $4,000 off." I said, "Okay. Sign me up." And they came out. They came when they were supposed to and did everything they were supposed to. But the thing they hook on the wall, they forgot that. So they're mailing it to me. Also, there was drywall dust in my house afterwards, which I had to clean my house. That's what happens when you do construction. But they told me it would take five to six hours and it took them three. They were the best people I've ever dealt with.

Rose, the lady who sold the tub to me, was sweet and did a great job in explaining. I liked her. The guys who did the installation were good guys. They did wonderful work and they were nice guests. They were clean though they shouldn’t lay their tools on people’s granite. It wasn’t a big deal. I was not mad about it, but somebody else would be. I’m pleased with the Independent Home tub. It has been good so far.

I had a very good experience with Independent Home. They had a very good salesman and the workers were excellent. I'm happy with the service that they provided. The guys who installed it were very polite and nice. I just would like an instruction book that I didn't get because they didn't have any. They were supposed to mail me one and I'm still waiting for it.

The Independent Home tub is very nice. It would be nice too if you were able to get into the tub after it was already filled, but it's cold. The massage is good though. I have fibromyalgia and neuropathy in my legs. The restless leg is one of the worst things and the neuropathy. Both of them together is almost unbearable. So, I've been pleading with my husband to let us get the walk-in but it's so expensive. We decided we'd give up something else maybe, and do it. And since we got it, I don't have the episodes as frequently. When I do, I jump in the tub and it soothes the ill. The episodes of extreme pain has slowed down and even the restless leg. Life is a little better.

Independent Home did well. The installers did a good job and didn't make a big mess. They knew what they were doing and were able to explain everything about the tub. It’s the Dignity model and it's got about everything on it that you can get. It’s got the whirlpool, the air, the aromatherapy and the handheld shower. But if the tub was about 8 inches longer, that will make it a whole lot better for me.

I had a gentleman come over and show me everything and give me the quote. Once I agreed to it, the reps came and started working, and I had my tub within two days. I like everything about it. I noticed the first time I used it that the water has to be so high in order to turn your jets on and I float off the seat. We turn those jets on, and all of a sudden, it lifts me up. But it's nice, because with my pain and the joint pain, it helps relax me. I love my experience with Independent Home. The people who were here to put it in were very friendly, courteous, professional and polite. They came in and worked non-stop. It was a family of a father and his son and daughter. It was super nice.

The installation was great. They had to take two days to do it, but it was good. Independent Home is reputable and easy to work with.

The salesman from Independent Home was great and the people who came and put in the walk-in tub did what they were going to do then left. But I signed up for two hand bars and they only put one. I called Independent Home and some guy named Brian said he was going to send me one. He also told me to call back, so they could help me or have somebody put it in because I don't have anybody to do that for me. Other than that, I'm enjoying the tub and its spa-like feel. It's easy to get in and out of, too.

I have MS, and I feel like I have my safety back. The installation crew were amazing, I couldn’t lift my foot to go into my tub, so Kevin built me a lower step so I can safely get in my tub. This company will customize for your safety. As a bonus, they left my bathroom nice and clean. Independent Home is very reasonable with their pricing as well.

The Independent Home representative that came out was very helpful and knowledgeable. He did some measurements. It was a pleasant experience. The installers said they would be here between 9:00 and 9:30. I had to run out and do an errand beforehand and they were here when I got back. They pulled up 20 seconds before I did. They brought everything in and they set everything up. They had to take apart the door to get the tub in then they put the door back together. They showed me how to use the tub and they cleaned up after themselves. The quality of work that they did for the tub is A+.

I got the base model with the sauna and I paid more than I wanted to for it. But other than that, my experience with Independent Home was good.

I like Independent Home and the tub that I got from them. Since having it, I'm more energized.

I like the water jets and the air jets of my tub. When I bought it, the rep I talked to was knowledgeable and laid back. All the facts were right there and there was no pressure. Then, the installation was pretty quick and well done. The installers went the extra mile to get it in.

The installers were a father and son, and they were very courteous and helpful. They also answered all my questions. But I saw Independent's ad in the paper and I showed them that when they gave me the quote that it was 2,000 off. They upheld that and I was very well satisfied with my experience.

The installation of our tub went fine. But I asked for a schematic of how the thing operates - the connections and all that sort of thing. I never got it. It would be good to make the schematic readily available. My electrician had a question. They brought one wire over to the panel and did not connect it because I told them not to. The house is still under construction. We didn't know if it was 120 or 240 volts.

Independent Home was considerably less expensive compared to Safe Step. The Independent Home rep was very assured about his product. He was telling us that they were the manufacturers of the tub and that other companies like Safe Step used their tub. He misled us a little about how long it was going to take for the tub to be installed. The installer was quite good and I was a little surprised as he did the installation all by himself. It took four days but it was not due to him being not capable of it. It was that he had to do more work to get it in the space because the cement on the floor wasn't perfect for what he needed.

We had a great experience with the representatives. They stayed here how ever long it took to answer all of our questions. We already picked another company and had an appointment scheduled with them, but we ended up canceling them. The Independent Home installers were excellent. They were very efficient, and other than the bathroom shutdown, we didn't even know they were here. They went about it and got it done. We have a very tight space, so it took a little longer than everyone initially expected, but it came out really nice. We've been very happy with the tub. We encountered a problem the very first night wherein one connection wasn't quite tight enough in the basement, so we had a minor leak, but they got someone here pretty quick.

Bottom line don't buy this tub. Installation is so bad, leaks, not done correctly and no response from Independent Home only to tell me for 3 1/2 months they haven't forgotten me they are trying to schedule. They knew the problems before the installer left day it was put in.

We like our walk-in tub very well. I was the one that had a little experience with this. I had to take some major chemo a couple of years ago. I got very weak and I got in the bathtub a couple of times. I managed to get out on my own. I realized how easily I could get stuck in that tub and not be able to get out and that was very concerning. We've been telling our friends about our walk-in tub because we have another friend that lived a mile away who got stuck in the bathtub for eight hours overnight.

They were all very good at Independent Home. The man that came here was very nice. He did a presentation and showed us pictures. Also, the installers were very fast. They were done in a few hours.

A lady came out and she explained everything. Independent Home's policy was nice so I liked that. The installation was clean. The team was nice to talk to. I let the tub set for three days before I got in. Once I got in, I liked it. They're good on my knees. I’m satisfied. I already recommended Independent Home my sister but she said she gotta give a down payment first before she started anything.

The sales reps were good, and we’re happy about everything. The installers were also great. It was just two of them and I don't know how they got the tub up there, but it's in and it’s being used. I like the tub because I get in and it's very nice. I had four back operations, and using the tub helps my back. My husband had a back operation, too, and even my daughter had one as well.

I was looking around for bathtubs, and Independent Home came out before the pandemic. They're nice people, so far. We got the top of the line tub with everything, and purchasing it was easy. The installers were great too.

The installation team came in 8:30 in the morning and they were done by 3 o'clock. They did great, and I love the tub. It cost more than I thought it was going to, but it's doing what I want it to do, so everything’s good. The reps also told me, “If you have a 40-gallon water heater, it's not gonna be enough,” so I had to get a new water heater, which is coming Friday.

Independent Home was the first one that called me. Their sales reps were very good. Everything went well except the installation got delayed twice. The first time, it got delayed a week because they shipped the wrong tub. The second time, I don't know why it got delayed, but it took a few days. The installers were also very good and they did the installation pretty fast. I love my new tub except for the fact that I freeze while it's filling up. My husband says he wishes there was a heater in there to keep the water warm.
