I’m extremely happy with my walk-in bathtub from Independent Home Products. From the very beginning, the team was helpful, patient, and answered all of my questions without any pressure. The tub itself is comfortable, sturdy, and very easy to use, and the built-in safety features like the low step-in, grab bars, and non-slip floor give me real peace of mind. It has made a big difference in my day-to-day comfort and safety. The installation went smoothly, and the crew was professional, respectful, and cleaned up afterward. Overall, it’s been a great experience and a purchase I truly feel good about.

Installers were great. They worked on small issues with a great attitude until we were happy. Explained our new tub in great detail. Looks beautiful! Would buy again.

Finally found a walk in tub company who was able to replace our garden tub. From the salesperson, Paul, Phil the installer with assistant Ben provided a wonderful experience to us as we get older. Couldn't use the Garden tub, getting in & out was impossible for years. This walk in tub is great and will help my Vietnam veteran relax & soothe his pain. Thank you Independent Homes!

Excellent company. Great service representative of a professional and courteous. Looks to be a great product. When I first talked to Melanie on the phone, she was very polite, very professional, but very highly of her company and her products. She had me sold on the tub before I even talk to the cell. That’s how good she was. After talking to Peter and him going through the companies, making their own products back in their own products and servicing their own product with the lifetime guarantee I was sold. Two excellent people to have in their company Peter and Melanie.

I purchased an Independent Home walk-in tub for my 87 year old father. Although he was somewhat reluctant to make such a big investment in an old small home at his age, I wanted him to enjoy taking a bath again. We reviewed many companies that were over budget or did not meet the feature requirements. I happened upon Independent Home online and spoke with Cindy. I was pleased with her pitch as the company seemed to cater to elderly clients. Cindy was able to answer all my questions satisfactorily and we scheduled the consultant for the following week. The consultant, Paulina, was thorough and patient assuring me every step of the way of the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction.

I enjoy my tub. The installation was professional. I would recommend getting this tub. From my experience this seems to be a company that hires competent workers to help install the tub. I have enjoyed relaxing in this tub. I'm also glad that this company is based in the USA.

John ** was my rep and he was very friendly. He answered all my questions and kept in contact with me throughout the installation process. The installation team was courteous and efficient. We had one small hiccup with getting the water turned off but the situation was quickly rectified. I haven't had any issues with my spa. The tub drains quickly and it's easy to clean. I use it regularly. I enjoy being able to sit and relax whether I want to soak in a bath or take a shower. It really has turned my small bathroom into a luxury spa experience.

I purchased a walk in tub from Independent Home 2 months ago and use it 2 to 3 times a week. The sales man that came to the house was very thorough a and explained the program to us and checked to make sure we had room in our fuse box and went up in the attic and to see if it would fit. At that time he measured the room to make sure it would fit. Then we sat down and looked at what we wanted on our tub. simple and sweet. We looked at other tubs but felt this was the best. We are glad we went with Independent Home Tub.

Terrible customer service. Their representatives are dishonest and deceitful, good luck getting service. Tried to get a refund that was due to me but kept getting empty promises. Same old story. "Be patient. The check is in the mail."

We received excellent service. Installation was efficient, and professional from beginning to end. Everything was as promised at the time of signing the contract. We love the tub. We have 3 elderly using this tub. So, it's safe!. We love the massages and the continuous moving water and the ability to adjust the pressure through the functions of the tub. It's wonderful to just sit and relax. It's easy to clean too.

The salesman, Rick, out of Tallahassee, Florida told us that they use their own team to do the shower install. That's not true. It was an outside contractor that did the work. The shower that was installed looked good but did not completely finish the work. It looks bad. We had to have the contractor to come back and repair a leak. The contractor also cut a hole in the floor to move the drain pipe but did not cover or patch the hole in the floor which is under the shower pan. Now we have mice coming up through the hole. I called to get the hole covered but no one called me back. Any kind of small creature, roaches, and snakes can enter our bathroom through the hole in the floor. Right now, I do not recommend using Independent Home for your bath or shower install.

Independent Home is quick to respond to inquiries about their products and will promptly dispatch a salesperson to your home to make the sale. However, when it comes to servicing their product after the install, they are unresponsive; all calls go through the sales center, where they offer to have a salesperson call you, then a bot sends you an SMS that never elicits a response from them. My Independent Home tub, a 'Deluxe Life Tub,' is completely unusable because of a failed drain stopper gasket that keeps the water in the tub. Independent Home is unresponsive to my requests for a new gasket, and I cannot find a supplier online that sells the gasket. So, my tub is non-functioning because of a simple gasket.

I just received a new walk-in bathtub. Done very professionally by two men who came in. Worked very well together and were able to put it all back together again in less than half a day. I use this tub daily. Very easy to get in and out of and very professionally done. I love the warranty that came with it. Even though I have a small bathroom in my park model this fit perfectly. The only thing I'm not totally crazy about is the aromatherapy as it doesn't seem to work too well. This fills relatively fast.

I absolutely love my new walk-in tub from Independent Home. The installation only took a few hours, and it is absolutely beautiful. Financing the tub was quick and easy, was 10’s of thousands less than all the other quotes.

Felt like I got pressured into taking a cheaper product because the one we chose wouldn't fit through the bathroom door. Never got to see an actual product until they dropped it off. Air bubbles get everywhere also. Very unsatisfied with product. The only good that came out of this was the man and his son who put it in. They were awesome.

The salesperson we spoke with made raved on how Independent Home makes sure the customer is satisfied through the whole process, how they clean up everything and never leave a mess and take away all garbage and promised how she would always be available at the number she gave on a card once we had our chosen bathtub and financing finalized. I have not been able to reach her since with all of the issues we have had.

The sales staff were excellent with no pressure to purchase and the installation went smooth for a 125 year old house, they kept me apprised the whole way and did a wonderful job, would highly recommend them.

Very good communication between management and workers. All communicated well with me. Cheaper price than similar companies. Workers were organized and prepared. They kept things neat and cleaned up well. I had a problem with water not being hot enough but they came back and fixed it. Did a super job.

This was an amazing experience. Tracy was very delightful, personable, knowledgeable and efficient. She knew exactly how to make everything go smoothly without wasting a lot of time, before getting to the pricing. We are getting a great product at a great price in a timely manner. So excited. Excellent job for a reasonable price! Tub came with all the bells and whistles for one price, unlike other companies that tack on additional expense for each little thing. Tub is substantial in construction and not flimsy. The installers were very polite and cleaned up afterwards. They went through the controls and location of breaker GFCI for the tub. Ensure you have at least a 40gal water heater so you don't run out of hot water. Increase in electric bill was negligible.

Salesman was very presentable and explained everything very well. Unfortunately I could not afford the remodel at this time, but hope to have it done in the future. I was excited to find out they make the shower units themselves.

On time, very professional, it looks great, the guys were friendly, explained how to use the tub, cleaned up after themselves. Everything is wonderful. First installers to show up on time. The window was eight until 11 and I thought they’d probably be here at 10:30 or 11 and they were here before 8 AM.

Overall, I am pleased with the walk-in tub itself; however, I do have concerns regarding the installation process. While the installation was completed in one day as promised, several issues were left unresolved. The installers removed my bathroom door frame to fit the tub, but when reinstalled, the frame was poorly aligned and partially splintered, causing the door to rub at the top. In addition, where the tub was forced into place, my bathroom closet door now rubs when opened or closed.

Great product for all my aches and pains. The jets are awesome. I wish I would have put it in sooner. The workers were fast and efficient. They showed me how to use it and made sure I could do it before they left.

In July 2025, I purchased a walk-in tub from Independent Home under an installment contract. On the first occasion the tub was used, it caused a catastrophic flood that leaked from the third floor down to the basement, destroying ceilings, floors, and walls throughout the home. When I requested the company’s insurance information, it was not provided, and I later discovered that the contractor responsible for the installation was uninsured. Furthermore, the company’s response to this emergency was unacceptably delayed; several days passed before anyone was sent to assess the situation.

They removed my old jacuzzi, checked the flooring under the tub, moved the pipes to be more efficient, covered the walls with sheeting and trim. Everything looks wonderful and I can’t wait to try it out. I am very happy with the tub and the work done.

We Love our jetted walk in tub. Salesman was great. Installation seamless and fast price was right. We highly recommended Independent Home. It affords the comfort and relaxation we were looking for.

Don't buy from Independent Home for a bath tub. I was lied to misrepresented things on me and now they have my home attached to this loan! Which they take over half your payment for interest so,,,, alert!!!! Don't buy from this company, they have crooks that work for them and sheisters! And I wouldn't get hooked up with Aqua Finance Company either!!!!

Representative was polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. Install team arrived early and were professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of installation. They removed old shower and a wall then installed new walk in tub in 6 hours! I'm very happy with the tub and the professionalism of the company.

I just made the biggest blunder. This is not what I had in mind. I specifically wanted a tub that children could take a bath in. No way with this. It is difficult to get into, no room. No way to hang a curtain, so much for splatters when using shower. Was told they all came with seats built in, found out that's not true. Also told the seat didn't take up much room, actually takes over a 3rd of area. I am so very unhappy. Company told me I really made a downgrade. OUCH!

These guys did a great job. We couldn’t be happier. They cleaned up the mess and hauled off the old tub and debris. They were polite and courteous. They explained everything well. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great experience with Independent Homes from Nicole's help putting my home together to the crew setting my double-wide up. TITANS customer service was fantastic! They traveled like 6 times over 2 hours to make repairs and they were very friendly and prompt with their service. I highly recommend buying a Titan!

Meribeth, our sales rep was fantastic. Because of her attention to detail, the installation went smoothly. There was a small issue after the installer left but Maribeth and Heather in the office were on it and the installation guys came back to address the issue. Turned out it was even because of the install, but they fixed it anyway. We're still waiting for the glass though. That's taken longer than expected. That's been a little frustrating because we can't use the shower piece. The tub itself does what it is supposed to and does it well. I'd highly recommend Independent Home.

We ordered a walk in shower in February 2025 for my mother. They were given a $6,000 deposit. 2 days later, she had a stroke. After several weeks, we notified the company that she was moving to a nursing home and we needed to cancel the contract. After calling the company for 6 months, we left multiple messages without a single return call. We have talked to multiple people who just happened to answer the phone, we were told they were sending the request up the ladder and we would be hearing from them soon. We have never received a phone call. We are now being told that there is 1 manager who can approve a refund, but they are on vacation or they are in a meeting or they are working from home or they are backed up and it will be awhile before they can do anything. We are now having to contact a lawyer. They have stolen $6,000. Everybody has been extremely pleasant, but this is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with.

Independent Home installer Jeff ** did an awesome job with installing our new walk in tub. After the installation of the new walk in tub, he show us how all the fixtures worked. Excellent job in his exclamation of each fixture. Clean up afterwards was great, I did not have to do anything. All the debris was taken out and placed in his vehicle and taken away from premises. We are totally happy with our purchase. From a unusable tub to a safety therapeutic walk-in. How sweet it is! If you're looking for comfort, quality, and a company that genuinely cares, Independent Home is the way to go.

I had the pleasure of meeting with Independent Home today and learning about their walk-in showers and their luxury spas and let me tell you they really have been super thoughtful on all the health benefits that they offer. There isn’t one health benefit that they have left out that they can do for people in need. It is honestly a very awesome service and I think every person that has any kind of health problem should get one. It is a very much life changing System that every person should think about getting in their home.

These guys will come in and sniff your work boots and dirty laundry. Have them on video and will share video asap. I highly recommend nobody ever use this company again. Mother and daughter in house while snooping around.

Don't waste a penny of your money. I essentially got ripped off for 16000.00 on a completely botched Walkin tub install by these PROFESSIONAL NOT installers. I could go on for over an hour describing how messed up the job ended up being. I am A disabled senior citizen and I live alone and was assured of a price match guarantee. They installed the cheapest tub they had and i paid for the premium model the guarantee was to match competitor price plus take another thousand off.

Installation of the walk in bathtub was done professionally and the installers were fantastic. We are enjoying all features of the tub including the relaxing air and water jets. The installers were very courteous and demonstrated all features of the system in a way we could understand.

This is a Fraudulent company that lies about manufacturing their own tub-you can look it up online by the pictures. The tub is made by Mobility Bathworks in Tx and if you follow enough they are Asian. These frauds sold other tubs as well if you read the complaints here. They tried using un licensed contractors in my house so I refused. Their claims are false and the service is horrible I am told.

In a little over 3 weeks from filling out a form on my computer, we had the rep come explain everything and got the walk-in installed. Austin and his 2 helpers got all work done in 4 1/2 hours. We are thrilled at the work done and love our new walk-in tub from Independent Home.

Don't use them...they are scammed and will try to keep any deposits. I scheduled an installation for my grand mother's house. The installer arrived and advised us that due to her foundation the bathtub couldn't be installed. I advised the salesman Michael that the job couldn't be done. He tried to get me to get a shower but I refused it. They called a month later stating that they couldn't install the shower that day due to the weather. I told the installer that we were not scheduled for a shower to be installed and he should contact his manager because I'm not even at my grandmother's house.

The person who installed the tub was very knowledgeable and professional throughout. Would highly recommend her to anyone. Shasta has been great and we would all agree that she has an immense talent.

They were good about not arriving too early. They were extremely polite and courteous. They did their best to minimize any messy conditions. They did an excellent job on everything. They did excellent work. The total price was way below the closest bid from the nearest competitor. We were pleasantly surprised with every aspect of the job. We love the walkin tub. It really has made a difference already. I have used it twice to work out soreness. It's great. We're so happy with it.

Started with Independent home to install. A walk in tub and our guest bathroom. They were supposed to install weight back up. That's an off weight, and they're supposed to put in. Dual shower doors for my my master bathroom. But the doors are too small or too big. I can barely fit through the opening. It's only like a 17 inch. Opening I'm 7 years old. I can't go through that tiny little bit of hole. So if you need more than this, give me a call ** or **. Area code 727, thank you.

We purchased a walk-in tub from Independent Home on 4/30/25. The salesman arrived promptly and immediately impressed us with his knowledge, salesmanship and poise. He detailed all the features of the tub and its uses. I would highly recommend this company if you are ever in need of a walk-in tub.

If I could give an ZERO, I would. Absolutely horrible company and I wish I went with someone else. And I should have followed my instincts in the beginning. We were trying to get quotes from different companies. Independent Home said we will see if you’re pre qualified and pull a soft credit, well they didn’t and did a hard pull which I specifically requested they not do. Anyway- fast forward I went ahead since they already did a hard inquiry on my credit. Day of installation-they called and said the truck broke down and can’t make it and will be there the next day. I requested off work to be home that day so now I had to request another day off on short notice!

The sales presentation was done very well with no pressure to buy. The install and everything related to it went flawlessly and we were informed of everything the entire way. The installers were professional, clean and courteous. The tub is wonderful and has helped me immensely.

I bought a New Bath tub from a company with that name from Columbus, Ohio. It came with a life time guarantee from Independent Home. I have never had a problem until several months ago. I contacted that company and was told that since they no longer sell New Bath tubs they no longer service what they sell. They still had my records and the same contact information but they claim they are a different company. They researched and told me it was manufactured by Independent Home. I contacted the Independent Home company and they admit they made the tub, but since they didn't sell it, they won't service it. I am afraid to use my hydrotherapy because I fear it is an electrical issue. Neither company will even offer suggestions of how to find an inspector and repair person.

Stephanie came in around 4k less than the compatible companies. The installer Charles and Adam got it done in 2 days. They had a long drive. We have a slab so plumbing is not easy. Finding the water was harder than they wished but it's was solved.

The salesman talked about how many homes he had been in and actually took the business from another company that the customer had signed with and yet will not refund my deposit. I found a much better price for the same shower I signed up for with him. I just get the run around when I actually get someone to call me from Independent Home. It would be the right thing to do.

I'm very happy with my walk-in tub. The salesman who came to the house was very informative. We discussed what I was interested in and formed a plan. We chose to put 1/3 down & finance the remainder. We set an installation date & all was good to go. However, Mother Nature had other plans. The week we were to have our tub installed we had a freak 100 year blizzard come thru & dump 10-12 inches of snow across AL & FL. Our tub was supposed to be installed on Wed but got pushed back until Sat due to all the roads being closed.

It very good and job completion was on time and everything looks great. Employees came in, went straight to work, they also cleaned up as they went along. They also had everything they needed to complete the job.

I have purchased two tubs from Independent Home and planned on doing a third. However, with the second tub, I just installed in my rental, which I happen to be living in right now the water will not go any hotter than lukewarm. Independent Home has tried to say it’s my hot water heater. However, I have a big hot water heater, and I get scalding hot water from every other faucet in my house and I have three bathrooms. I contacted the installer who was promising to come out. Never did, I emailed the sales manager that was going to take care of my every need and never got a response. I’ve called twice now and there seems to be no service after the sale so beware. I never would’ve guessed there was any needed, but I’m very disappointed with this company because I liked them so much at first until I needed something then they aren’t anywhere to be found.

They are decent until they get you into a contract, and then you no longer exist unless it will benefit them. I have called multiple times about the same issues/ problems and they just always give you the runaround. They make you feel that you were scammed, and I believe it.

We love our deluxe walk in tub. We looked at many different types, we even thought about installing one ourselves. Thank goodness we didn't. Our salesman answered all our questions. Was on time. I have had my Independent Homes walk-in tub for about two months. I love it. Their sales representative, Stephanie, came to my house with a no pressure presentation. In about two weeks, the installers came and they were great. It took from about 10:30 to 6 PM. They were respectful of my home and myself as they went back-and-forth. The warranty is fabulous, and I had an issue with the handheld wand and I called the number on the warranty and they made it right. As consumers, we know that the hallmark of any good business is great customer service. I feel like I have that with Independent Homes and their products.

Nice tub features. We are glad we made the purchase. The installation was mostly a smooth process. Quality product. We like that the GFI is on a separate breaker circuit so that any outages do not impact the rest of your electrical circuit or appliances.

Updated on 03/11/2025: All was well with price then installation, they didn't measure it well and they had to break part of the wall, which was tiled and not put back correctly. Then we called and said that the jets were really not strong. For some reason they kept cancelling appointments to take a look, then they sent us a new motor (not that we would know how to install it) so we called and they cancelled appointments to come 2x, they said due to the hurricane.

The installation was meticulous and expertly done. Polite, courteous and thoughtful, Tony left my bathroom clean and organized. He explained the steps required in the installation and then took time to explain how to use my new tub! I highly recommend Independent Home!

This company is a joke. The sales rep lied about what we were getting, The day they came out to install it which was only supposed to be 1 day well it wasn't. It was almost 3 weeks with no tub and they had already removed my original tub, the 1 day they brought out the wrong size tub due to salesman putting wrong size on paperwork, then the sales rep told us we were getting a Walk in tub and that was also a lie. It was a walk in shower with a seat, but when they brought the wrong tub I called them and sales rep told me he ordered a larger tub with the door opening to the outside of tub but it was not true. The tub opened inwards. My husband is a very big man and can barely shut the door to shower.

My Dad is aging and wanted to have a safe option for enjoying a relaxing bath the safe way. Trying to take a shower with a less than safe shower seat was getting very tricky. Since his balance was sometimes off, we thought the safest way to go was with a walk-in tub. Our sales person, Joel ** was great and never tried to oversell us. Our salesperson was courteous but we were not happy that he did not convey to the company that we wanted the walls done differently. When taking out the old tub we wanted to gain as much space as we could. The installation team changed what they could. Also we were not aware the payment plan is a new credit card with Synchrony Bank. We feel this should have been related to us from our salesperson. Overall we are happy with the tub and install team, just not so much with the lack of communication from our salesperson to the install team and payment plan.

At the bathroom he took measurements and sizes of walls, doors, and ceiling. He also took measurements of the back door and entrance.

I usually do not write complaints. But have been unsuccessful in contacting the salesperson Jon **. I hope he gets this message. About a month ago I purchased an Independent Home 28x48 walk-in tub and shower. When Jon measures and recommended the shower size I should have been informed it way too small to work. The problem is I cannot shut or open the door unless I am sitting down. I am a small person. My family members who visit are much larger. I dread to see how they handle getting in and out.

The installation of the walk-in tub took one day though it was a long one. The guys from Independent Home were very nice and cleaned up after they were through. Everything was good and right this minute, we're very happy with the walk-in tub. We use all the features and we're very satisfied.

I liked what the second guy who came out from Independent Home said and I went with him. He had a video and showed me some things. It took a few weeks from the presentation up until the installation was done but the installers did it quickly. I like Independent Home. They did a good job. I like being able to walk into the walk-in tub.

I June 30th or so and had the schedule for the install on July 3rd. The job seems to went well. The next day my wife went to use the tub and we had water everywhere. To the point where it dripped through the floor to our downstairs family room and soak the carpet and some boxes I had in storage. So I called the salesperson and she said she would contact the company and have somebody call me. That was July 5th. No call so I text her and she said somebody would get back with me nobody ever did. The weekend went by and today is Monday July 8th and finally I called the installer Direct. He promised to have somebody out tomorrow Tuesday to fix all the leaks.

I had some difficulty at first with Independent Home because the person that I contacted was very rude on the phone. When I spoke to the salesman, Avi, about it, he immediately knew who that person was and said that he would take care of it. Avi made up for it, and he was very pleasant. So I went ahead with Independent Home. The installer, Tony, was absolutely terrific, and I can't say enough good things about him. He was a perfectionist. He was dependable, on time and did the work so well. I like the ease of getting in and out of the tub, and the overall quality seems to be very good. I'm pretty happy with it. It's very simple to use.

The guys who were doing the install were excellent. They knew their stuff and were efficient and neat. They laid down stuff to protect the carpet. The tub is well-made. Its features are very good. It does everything I want it to do so I like it. I've got a 50-gallon water heater and to make it work right, I have to turn the temp up a little bit. Otherwise, there's not enough hot water for it.
