On 5/30, I purchased a range, microwave and dishwasher. I was given a delivery date of 6/17. When I phoned for delivery time, it was changed to 6/24 and was told delivery would be between 8:30a-12p. I phoned at 12:30p only to be told the delivery people did not show up but I would have delivery on 6/28. Phoned on 6/28 and was informed they only had the dishwasher on the truck. When they arrived, the men looked under the sink and told me I did not have the correct line for hookup and left (they were very rude).

Phoned the Brandywine Home Depot store in Delaware and was told by the manager, "it would be delivered on 7/1." Needless to say, again no delivery and was told it would be delivered on 7/10. When I phoned the manager again was told they would only deliver all 3 items and would not make a trip out again. This time I cancelled. This store's customer service is beyond words. I would put in this complaint but I have had it with HOME DEPOT. I will take my business to Lowe's or Best Buy. I phone the corporate office who's service was not better than their store. Buyers beware!!!

I'm very disappointed and frustrated with the delivery services of Home Depot. We urgently needed a washer and bought it from HD. The salesperson assured us that product would be delivered in four days. On the date of delivery I was told they were overbooked and they rescheduled. For next 3 times they didn't bother to call us and kept us waiting, when we called the company we heard the same thing over and over that they are overbooked. Not only that, we were also told the company called and left messages on our phone. Both our listed phones have answering machines, caller ids and missed call list. We did not receive any call. Finally we cancelled the order and then the delivery guy called us. There was no communication between the company and delivery people. Very disappointed.

I bought a washing machine from Home Depot LIC, NY and the day before I got a call stating driver will deliver from 3-7 pm and I call to the office twice and was told the driver on his way. After 8 pm still no driver or call I called Home depot. They are so disrespectful about your delivery and still kept saying we did not talk to driver but he is coming. They provide the worst service and don't care about the customers spending their money or taking off work for a washer. Home depot is the worst. I called the supervisor and she said she will call me back and had a clerk call me to say it is a lot of traffic he should be there before 9 pm at night. You take off work and they have no respect for you at all after you spend your money.

I purchased a new refrigerator from Home Depot with 24 months deferred interest. The fridge would not fit through the front door and was returned. The next month it was still showing on my bill so I had to go back to the Home Depot and have them take it off. Two years later all the deferred interest was added to my credit, all $1500 of it.

I wasn't sure what the added bill was for so I called Home Depot to check. The rep on the phone could not tell me but did tell me the secret to accessing old invoices. I then realized the mistake and called back to report I did not owe this money. Was told they could not do anything about their mistake and was now in the hands of Citibank. Have not been successful thus far and resolved to paying this $1500 that I do not owe to protect my credit. Very bad business.

I purchased Samsung Washer and Dryer on 6/18/17 with what appeared reasonable price and delivery was scheduled for the following weekend. A day of delivery 6/30 I see that product was reduced significantly for 4th of July Sale. The store manager resolved the issue by returning and repurchasing the appliances. The delivery was rescheduled for another week because the purchase order had to match new appliances. Okay, I feel frustrated but I was willing to wait for another week.

Today my appliances came and delivery guy advised that I can't have a steam option unless I attach it to water source. The water is on opposite wall from the dryer plug. The Home Depot sales person or Samsung never mention this. I wouldn't have bought this model if I knew that. I am frustrated and upset because now I had to buy additional stacking kit in Lowe's and additional parts to extend the cord and I am not even sure it will function. All because failure to communicate. It was more expensive than advertising. Disappointed!!!

Bought a (Frigidaire Gallery) dishwasher and a washer and dryer set with the 5 yr protection plan a little over a year ago. Now the dishwasher (which was installed just crooked enough to graze the edge of the cabinet every time I close the door) is malfunctioning. Called for service yesterday (6/29) and was told a technician would be here today (6/30) between noon and 4 pm. At 5 pm they hadn't showed up so I called again. I was told that, after they tried to reach the service provider, the phone number is now out of service. The next available service date (with another service company) was not until 7/7 which is unacceptable. The lady from the protection plan call center got a hold of this new service company and they said to "force enter" an appointment for Monday, the 3rd... which, of course, the system did not allow.

So now instead of the 7th I'm down for service on the 10th with a note to actually come do it on the third. I've been assured that they'll be here on the 3rd but can't help worrying that I'll be told "Your appointment isn't until the 10th" since Tuesday is July 4th. This is beyond aggravating. Why did I spend all this extra money, on top of the price of my appliances, to have prompt and reliable service if it isn't going to be either?

The delivery company did not show up, when I called them they lied and told me that they had called several times and could not find my house. I had no missed calls and my house is located next to two main streets. They said they would have to re-schedule and I explained that we were waiting for a washer and dryer and we were leaving town the next day, I had hoped to be able to wash clothes before we left. The lady on the phone said that was my problem because I didn't respond with directions for the delivery men. I told her that was unacceptable. I was at this point rude to the woman.

I next called Home Depot and they said I was at the mercy of the delivery company and since I had been rude to them it was unlikely I would get my washer and dryer anytime soon. I was put on hold, hung up on, and told that there was nothing Home Depot would do to guarantee appliances were delivered. It was my problem to work out with the delivery people. They were supposed to call one half hour before they arrived, no such call, no guarantee on another delivery time. We cancelled the order.

2 years ago I purchased what was to me an expensive Samsung refrigerator for $2477 and was talked into buying the 3 or 5 yr. Home Depot Protection Plan. I've never been too keen on extended warranties, but also have never spent so much for an appliance. Their "protection plan" has a lemon clause in the contract that states the appliance will be replaced if you have to call for service for the same "problem" 3 times. This sounded good to me so I purchased the 3 yr. plan. After having had the service people out 6 times now for the ice maker not working correctly, Home Depot and their protection plan company (Asurion) refuses to replace my refrigerator or refund the money I spent for it.

Every time I call for service now they keep changing the rules to keep from having to do the replacement. It's one delay after another, being shuffled from customer service agent to supervisor & back to a different customer service agent to start all over. Delay, delay, delay. I'm sure it's just to wear the consumer down so they will give up. I've spoken to & emailed at length to both Home Depot and Asurion with no success & meanwhile my expensive refrigerator still won't work properly. I've been a very long term Home Depot customer (I'm 66 yrs old and have had many homes in various parts of the country), but I am so disgusted by this experience that I don't think I'll ever step foot in another one of their stores. There are too many other stores selling the same products to have to put up with this type of poor service. If I could give a minus star rating, I wouldn't hesitate to do that.

I purchase a Whirlpool refrigerator in May and had it delivered on June 20th... When they delivered it they were not able to install the water line so we said just leave and my contractor will install it... After placing the refrigerator inside the slot we notice it did not fit... Two days later I went to the riverhead store and spoke to a manager who I won't mention her name. Right off she was so nasty and rude to me. I explained I wanted to return the refrigerator and buy another one. She said "Give me your name and telephone number and I will call you back." This was a Saturday.

As of yesterday Monday no word from her. So I went back to the store and asked for another manager. A young guy comes up to me and proceeded to get so nasty would not let me talk. I was totally shocked how I was treated. So the end result is they will not take back the refrigerator. I explained that we were never told that refrigerators were not returnable. He told me that's a given. (Whatever that means.) I then told the manager I will have to contact the credit card company. He told me "Suit yourself" and walked away. I should mention that I also purchase $14,000 of kitchen cabinets from Home Depot too. I will NEVER EVER buy anything from this store. I can't believe that a big chain like this treated people. LOWE'S HERE I COME.

I went to Home Depot to buy a fridge and gas range. I spent an hour or so and set up the delivery date and install. On the Monday, no one showed up or called to cancel or verify install of the appliances that I set up 3 weeks prior. I called when no one showed up and Home Depot had no idea they did not show. They apologized and scheduled the delivery that Friday saying my appliances from the manufacture were not in yet but would be by Thursday. I received a call that Thursday to verify delivery for the following morning. Again, no call or show about install or delivery of appliances that Friday. I then called Home Depot concerning the time frame of delivery only to find out the gas range was on back order and I would not receive appliances for 3 weeks.

I went into the Home Depot store I bought the appliances from and talked to the customer service line. They were no help nor did they seem to care. It was a nightmare as I had to then take another day off work to plan for delivery. Therefore, using 3 vacation days for nothing. I have yet to receive any phone calls or concern from Home Depot customer service or "Bob" from the store who said he would do anything to make it right. Eventually, I received a $50 gift card and it took almost a month after the original date to receive the appliances and get them installed. I am disappointed in Home Depot as there was never a call from a supervisor or manager concerning the issue. I am no longer a Home Depot customer due to the lack of concern or compassion they had for the mess they caused me.

Called Whirlpool and they are sending me a $125 non-specific gift card to make up for the inconvenience with very little back and forth (5 minutes). I believe this is quite fast and appreciated working with Tanisha (spelling?) about the issue. Home Depot was where I bought the dishwasher, but it's a Whirlpool and they deal with delivery complaints of their product. Home Depot's delivery number is 1-800-455-3869.

I ordered a Frigidaire washer and stacking kit with it, and the deliver day was scheduled on 6/21/17. However, almost got the confirmed time the deliver guy called me and told me the stacking kit was damaged, so they were not able to deliver my washer. I was so surprised. Do they only have one stacking kit in the whole big company from Home Depot or the third party? That's IMPOSSIBLE! Then, I called them to reschedule, and Home Depot told me I have to call the delivery company because the washer was in the deliver company's hand. Are you kidding me??? I paid the money to you, you wanna me to do your job??? That's ridiculous!!!

Then, I called the deliver company. They told me they were not able to deliver it until 6/28/17, because they didn't have my washer and it was still in Glen Burnie warehouse. LMAOL!!! Are you KIDDING me again?? So I don't really know where my washer and stacking kit are. And they just cannot confirm when the deliver day will be. So I told the deliver company that I would pick it up myself even without the stacking kit, after a long time waiting the lady told me I could do that. So I drove there pick up myself and even installed myself. So really wondering what they are doing for their customers.

June 7th I ordered a GE refrigerator, sat home all day on a Sat. No email or phone communication from HD. I finally called Atlanta headquarters late in the day... come to find the fridge was back-ordered and no one bothered to tell me while I sat wasting an entire day away! My card was charged right away, but of course! I asked why no one bothered to call about updates on delivery, and no one could tell me despite all the agents, sales clerks, and sups I talked to on phone and on chat. I would get different answers, replies, and excuses as to why no Mgr. was available to speak with.

THEN come to find out they have my phone number under a 'Marika **' who apparently USED TO live in my area, and previously HAD my phone number. HOWEVER... I've had this number for over 5 years and so Home Depot should have changed the information to begin in THEIR SYSTEM with from my June 7, 2017 online order! They were (and to this day STILL ARE REFERRING ME TO HER!) referring me as: Dear Ms. ** and after several attempts of contacting HD letting them know that woman is NOT WHO I AM... Then I get a clerk on the phone who says he will 'act as a Mgr and that I could pick out any fridge I wanted due to all the trouble I was having.'

I went to store, found a fridge I wanted, was there 2 hours talking to a sales clerk, explaining my ordeal, having her looking at all the notes in system re: my order gone WRONG,and then having to get this new fridge 'trade out' which would have been considered a 'wash' even though yes, it was more expensive... Had an incompetent 'so called' Mgr. afterward who asked me "Who told you that you could get a fridge $1000 over what you previously intended to buy?!" I gave names, have saved all emails and I am sure all calls were recorded so I have ample ammo for my case. He said, "Absolutely not! We cannot honor that!" SO... HD IS AN INDIAN GIVER AND I ended up walking out of HD, canceled order (or so I thought) but Nooo HD stills needs an RGA manuf # number (which they 'can't get right away!') before they can credit me back my own money!!! And THEN it's up to my bank.

Well I've been checking with my bank and there is NO CREDIT, not even LOOMING in the background. 2 weeks later I am still waiting for my refund, going on 2 months WITHOUT a fridge now, no compensation, inept sales people and Sup & Mgrs who could care less about their customers! Never again!!! Lowe's: Here I come and I suggest you all do the same! Otherwise you will go thru what I and countless others here have gone thru if you continue to shop with Home Depot. It's not worth wasting your time. I'm done with Home Depot before I even attempted ONE purchase with them. ZERO STARS FOR REVIEW... Please let me know if you intend to contact them on my behalf. I hope you will.

Used the Home Depot app on my phone to order refrigerator. The app worked easy enough (a little quirky) and took about 10 min to set up and order. Put in information and placed order. Got confirmation email and delivery date scheduled for 3 days out. I thought, “Great!” Well delivery day comes, no call from HD, I check the app and it says order’s "on schedule". I called the Watchung store in NJ (my store) and it took at least 4 phone calls to finally get someone who told me she had no visibility into the delivery system if it was ordered online. Her quote to me, "You should have come into the store and ordered it here so we could help you". REALLY! Needless to say I had to call several 800 #'s, wait through menus and then talk to a person for 45 min, who could only refund my money and told me to go to the store and try to reorder there. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE... Horrible services. Total waste of time.

I called Best Buy and in 15 min had the product ordered and scheduled for delivery, they even called the next day to review the order, delivery times and contact information. My advice, never order anything using the app at the Home Depot, and if you have to call the store, forget about it! You will never get the right person who can help you. A complete cluster that in this day and age should not be this complicated.

Was then told GE models I ordered weren't available until next Friday. I can't wait till next Friday. We have guests this weekend. So I called Lemcke Appliance and ordered the same refrigerators from them, cheaper, and they guarantee delivery Monday. I needed a new refrigerator. I went to Home Depot on a Saturday. I talked to a salesman, and he showed the refrigerator to us. He pulled the sticker off the fridge and checked availability and gave me a price. We went home and came back the next day. A different person was working. She showed me the refrigerator again, got the sticker off the refrigerator, and sold us the refrigerator. She set up Friday for delivery. A private crew delivered and removed 2 refrigerators from my kitchen. They were very professional. When they unloaded the refrigerator, it was a cheaper, wrong model. I called to the appliance department and got a hold of yet another lady. She was very pleasant and said it needed taken care of immediately. She checked into it and came up with that someone had marked the refrigerator wrong. It was still marked wrong.

So for at least a week, they, in my opinion, false advertised that refrigerator. She agreed. I told her I had to go get ice for a cooler for now both my refrigerators were gone out of my kitchen. One was bad, but another one was fine, but old. She said, "Don't go right now, because I am going to see the manager right now and get it handled." She said he would be calling me in a couple minutes, so stay here. 1 1/2 hrs later, I still hadn't heard from the manager. Meanwhile I looked up on their website the correct refrigerator. It was $600.00 more. I waited 15 minutes on hold, and finally got an operator. I asked for the manager. She put me through. 15 minutes later, I’m still on hold, and the operator came on again. I told her again, I wanted to speak to the manager. She put me through again, and again I waited.

Finally the manager picked up. I asked him if he talked to the appliance department, and he said he had. I asked, "What are we going to do about this." I informed him that they have been advertising the same refrigerator for at least a week at the wrong price. I asked him, "How many other people got shafted the same way?" I explained to him that they had taken my refrigerator, and now I'm in bad shape. He could care less. He said he would have to go to the appliance department and check into it. I said I would wait while he walked back, because I have been on the phone for over an hour. He said he couldn't go back because he was on the phone with me. I said, "You must be the only store around that doesn't use cell phones."

I was getting madder by the minute. I asked, "What are we going to do." He said he didn't have the authority to give me any kind of discount on the right one, not even on the floor model. He said I would have to call Home Junkpo for any negotiation. I said I would be going on social media and tell my story. He didn't care. I told him I was calling my lawyer on Monday, and then he said he would have to quit talking to me in that case. I told him all I wanted was this straightened out. I said "How long would it take to get my money back"? He said a few days. I never told him I wanted my money back. We hung up and he said he was going back to appliances to check on it.

In about ten minutes, he called back. He said, "I was able to process your credit card", and returned my money right away. I told him, "I never asked for my money back", he even agreed. He wanted out of that sale apparently pretty bad. He was crude, rude, and wrong. I will never buy anything off that democrat socialist store again. I went to Lowe's, got a similar model and it was delivered the next day. Don't get jerked around, go to Lowe's.

On Monday, June 5, 2017 I bought a GE refrigerator at my local Home Depot. It was promised for delivery the following Friday, and I made it clear to the sales associate that I was buying this particular model because it was verified to be immediately available for delivery. The afternoon before delivery I received an automated voicemail that delivery had been rescheduled two weeks later on June 23, with absolutely no explanation. I followed the link in the voicemail and went to the website, but there was no explanation there. Called the local Home Depot and after a long delay reached someone in appliances. She explained that she was covering for other people and knew nothing about appliances.

I was elevated to a manager who took the information but seemed to know little to nothing about Home Depot's delivery contractor, and explained that the deliveries were fulfilled from manufacturer's stock and not from HD inventory. I then phoned the number he gave me for appliance delivery and got NOWHERE. That number is totally automated and there were no menu selections that fit my problem.

Don't be lured in by the aggressive Home Depot appliance sales, such as Memorial Day, because nobody knows anything. They cannot fill orders, and I am now in a very bad situation because I will be out of the country at the time the delivery is scheduled, not returning for many months. This is extremely disappointing. Never, ever again will I buy an appliance at HD, and I will advise all of my contacts to avoid them for this reason. Reading other reviews, I now see that this is a very common problem. Very sad that nobody at the store cares or is properly trained.

On May 14, 2017 I went to The Home Depot and purchased Whirlpool Model WTW4915W2. On or around May 31st I started to notice black spots appearing on my clothes. Only thing new in this whole equation was the washer. The first item of clothing was not of much value and was a around the house item of clothing, so I shrugged it off. Then I noticed that it was still doing it to another load of laundry. I called directly to the store and was told I had to call Whirlpool to set up an appointment.

When I called there was no Saturday appointments available. I just started a job been working there less than 2 months. This is a NO GO. So I decide it's Saturday I'm sure if I go in someone will solve this problem. I get met with a young man who jots down notes and passes it along to Rita. While I'm at work Rita tells me "Awww unfortunately there's nothing I can do. Talk to Trevor". Trevor calls me and say "there is nothing I can do. Let me talk to my Store Manager". Calls me back to inform me after brainstorming with his store manager there's no logical reason that a Whirlpool Washer would stain your clothes. And that he would let his superior know of my dissatisfaction with no one offering a SOLUTION to my Problem but there's procedures. I'd like to also add this Whirlpool Washer was purchased on a Home Depot Credit card that will be paid and cancelled very soon.

When this all started occurring (meaning the run around from Home Depot to Whirlpool) I thought to myself all I wanted was a equal exchange. I don't want a brand of washer that is ruining my clothes. But now my issue has become somewhat bigger than that. I feel pressured to keep something I don't want. Devalued as a customer that shopped very often a Home Depot being a Do It Yourself kind of gal. But on top of it all can't for the life of me understand why I had to work at one of the #1 customer service retail companies. I see how people should be treated totally higher probably than the average customer. I can honestly say. Neither company cares about ripping people off.

This is by far the worst customer service I have seen in my life. It is borderline deceptive advertising and pricing. I was in the market for a washer and dryer. Did some research and decided on a set from the Duluth, MN store. On their website and in the store, they clearly mark the price without mentioning any further discounts or promotions. I went to the store a few weeks ago and browsed their appliances assortment, spoke with a lady from the service desk who assured me that I can use a 15% coupon that Home Depot has mailed me.

I gave away my old washer and dryer and went to the Duluth store today to buy the Whirlpool washer and dryer that was clearly marked at $468 each. When they printed the invoice, the price shown was $520 each. They said we will take 10% off when you check out. They did, but they refused to honor my 15% coupon. I had no idea the price will be $520 a piece. They do not advertise this anywhere. I asked for a solution, so they brought me the assistant manager, Steve. He was rude, obnoxious, and constantly bragging about his 20-year service with the company. I asked him to give me in-store credit for that amount if taking it off the invoice is that hard. He rudely declined. Home Depot jacked up the price on me by $104. I had to pay as I was in dire need of the machines. I will never shop there again

On 05/27/17 I went to Home Depot in Salem, OH. I decided to purchase carpet to be installed and a refrigerator. So far everything went fine until it was time to schedule delivery. First I talked to an associate about having the refrigerator delivered. I was told that they couldn't guarantee when or what time of day they could have the refrigerator delivered. After talking to the associate for some time I was transferred to the manager. This is when things got even worse. I was told the same information that they couldn't guarantee what day or time the refrigerator could be delivered. The manager told me that they would call 30 min before they would delivery the refrigerator. REALLY?

I can't just leave work at any time to run home for a delivery and I'm sure a lot of other people can't. The manager would not work with me on an alternative date and time for the delivery. I can't believe a company like Home Depot would hire people so rude and inconsiderate willing to lose $3,000 in sales because of a bad delivery arrangement. Needless to say I cancelled the refrigerator and the carpet order. Guess I'll find a company that's more customer minded. It sure isn't Home Depot!

Bought a refrigerator and range. First attempt of delivery: both appliances arrived with big dents and were sent back. Next attempt: the refrigerator. Home Depot sent a white Frigidaire refrigerator, even though I ordered and paid for stainless steel. It was left in the house (which is under renovation.) A few days later the range arrive. I ordered and paid for installation too. The guys arrived, and my contractor's worker showed them where to install it and they said "okay." He went back upstairs to work. He heard the door close and came back down. They drove off without installing it.

So I have one fridge which is not the one I ordered and range that have not been installed. Both me and my contractor have spent hours on the phone trying to talk to someone in Home Depot - nobody answers there. Actually I am writing this review while waiting again on the line. This is insane. Apart from the aggravation, this costs me money. The appliances are meant for a rental, and I cannot rent it until they deliver and install the right appliances. DON'T BUY IN HOME DEPOT!!

Then the 29 a Saturday then cancelled two hours before said delivery time, then May 3 between 12 and 4. I finally called store at 5:00 pm. Was told they couldn't get hold of their delivery people but did give me a number for their delivery people, needless to say NO ONE called me at all that day. I called the next day and informed them I shouldn't have to do their job by calling all over. Got a date for washer delivery for May 6. We will see if this actually happens going on quite a long time on a washer we bought and paid for. Laundry mats are not cheap. Extra days wasted waiting and waiting for washer and waiting at laundry mats, and Home Depot does not care. Not once was a gift card for our inconvenience or a simple phone call apologizing.

I really hope I get my washer tomorrow and if not at the very least will hope someone contacts me that it's cancelled. I couldn't even fill out THEIR own survey because I WAITED too long and I still haven't gotten my item yet. This company is unbelievable, and unbelievably rude almost to the point of just absolutely poorly managed and poorly run, will never buy another appliance from them unless they make this right for us.

Just had a terrible experience with the delivery of our new washer. Paid for hook up and haul away of our old one. Guys showed up with a dishwasher at first. Then realized it and got the washer. Brought it in, left it at the bottom of the stairs and left. Didn't hook it up. Didn't take the old one. We had the old one ready to go (unhooked and pulled away from the wall). We had the new hoses there for them to hook it up as well. They left my back door wide open and I have two pets that could have easily escaped. They left my gate open as well and my dog could have got out. Absolutely terrible. Then I got on the phone and they were rude and when I told them the story they tried to blame me. Then they said, "what do you want me to do?" They said they would have to rebook someone. I told them it is very difficult to get someone to be home during the day as we all work. Their answer "Everyone does." Pathetic.

We purchased a Refrigerator and Range on 3/29/17. We were told that they could not be delivered until April 27 2017. Which we were ok with not thrilled but we really wanted them. Come April 26 we pulled both appliances out to clean and have ready for the new to arrive on the 27th. But the 27 we had not heard from anyone from there at all. So I started calling the numbers we were given to reach recordings. It stated there was no delivery time scheduled but it was to be delivered on the 27th of april.

So I called the store where we purchased it and spoke with Mike. He was not very pleasant and told me that there was no time scheduled after already telling him that. He finally was going to have the Manager check into and call back which they did to say the delivery was not going to happen till May 10th. No one had called to even communicate this. We were upset to say the least. We cancelled our order, went to appliancesmart, got the exact same thing PLUS a 5 year warranty for the same price.

Received a call from Home Depot stating that they would call LG and see when next delivery date will be. So I waited and waited. So I went on my Home depot account looking for my order, started chatting with employee. He stated he was going to call LG, stayed on the chat for 25 minutes and the gentleman was very nice. Next day Nothing, so I go by Home Depot. Can't help us since it was ordered online, give us a phone no. Call the number wait 30 minutes someone answers can't help us have to talk with someone at LG. WHAT! I said, "I didn't pay LG 1500, I paid you 1500, you are LG's customers, I am your customer." So I want a supervisor.

Finally after waiting 30 more minutes she states the same thing. Okay, "I want a refund". "Sorry can't help you there. You will have to go back to store." After almost losing my mind I told her "They said they couldn't help me." After all this she says, "Maybe we can send a part out to repair the stove..." "Lady!!! I DON'T HAVE THE STOVE. IT WAS SENT BACK. I DIDN'T ACCEPT IT!!!" "Oh, that's different. We can process your refund". OH, I say Ggreat!!!" "But it will be 15 to 20 days because we have to verify that you didn't receive the stove." REALLY, I WILL NEVER SHOP, OR TELL ANY OF MY CLIENTS TO EVER, SHOP, OR PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN!!! The last time I purchased and had delivery of a washer or dryer the delivery men carried it into my utility room and lifted it above the refrigerator which is half way to the wall and then installed it in place. This Home Depot delivery guy took one look at what he would have to do and said they would not deliver it. He suggested he leave the dryer on the porch and I hired someone to move the refrigerator out of the room and deliver and install the dryer.

I said no, that delivery and set up was part of the purchase and if he would not give the effort needed to do this then I was just going to cancel the order tell them exactly why I was canceling and try again somewhere else. My husband and I are senior citizens and can't move large appliances around anymore. Another time I had delivery of a new washer and dryer in the same house and room the delivery guys moved the refrigerator out of the room so that the appliances could be delivered. Extremely unsatisfied with their service. We ordered a Samsung fridge, washer and dryer from Home Depot and we were given the delivery date. We were also told that we would receive a phone call the day before for delivery confirmation. We did not receive a call the day before and they did not show up the day of. My husband called Home Depot and was put on hold for 45 mins just to be told that the appliances were not in stock and we had to contact Samsung to find out what was going on. My husband went to Home Depot to speak with a representative and they were able to find out that the washer and dryer were not in stock, but the fridge was. We asked them to cancel the washer and dryer and deliver the fridge. The representative confirmed the cancellation of the washer and dryer as well as a new delivery date for the fridge.

Here we are the day before the fridge delivery date and we are being told that the washer and dryer were not cancelled. We are also being told the fridge will not be delivered tomorrow. We just moved and we have no fridge. This has been a very frustrating experience and I would advise anyone looking for appliances not to order with Home Depot. It feels as though they have washed their hands of the issue and are pointing fingers at Samsung. Not to mention we were not told about the fridge not being delivered until 7:30 in the evening and then were told we needed to contact Samsung directly. This is after Samsung working hours so we can not speak with anyone about the issue until tomorrow. I'd rather have our money back at this point.

This recent experience is now the second in a row of major appliance purchases where the delivery went so far wrong that it hardly seems possible. Weeks ago my wife and I purchased a new Samsung washer and dryer set from Home Depot, in Tacoma Washington. Our card was charged a little over $2,000.00 and a delivery date was scheduled for the following week. The following week came and delivery was hours late, and did not call in advance to say they were in route as promised, but the delivery and installation was completed.

The washer and dryer were installed opposite of the correct hookups, so the dryer vent had to travel behind the washer all the way to the vent and the washer hoses likewise traveled behind the dryer. This caused the units to be sitting way out in the laundry room and clearly was not the correct installation. After a few hours using the set it became clear there was a problem with the cycles and Home Depot suggested the easiest way to resolve the issue this new was to have them come and pick up the set and we order a second set. So we did.

The delivery of the new set was promised for Wednesday the 5th of April and the set we had was to be picked up the 4th. We were assured we would see a credit for the defective set on our card within one week of April 29th. Here is it April 11th, the original set has been picked the new set was promised to be delivered 5th of April and they were a no show, so we called Home Depot and they said Samsung failed to ship to them so they rescheduled for April 12th, and to avoid being forgotten we just called the delivery company and were told we are not on schedule for tomorrow.

So here we are still waiting for our refund of the $2140.21 that Home Depot has had since 03/23, and out the $1596.11 they have had since the 31st of March, we have no washer, no dryer and no idea of what the heck is the problem or what is the solution. We have missed 3 days of work and paid interest on our credit cards for all this money and lost over $500 in wages, not to mention we have piles and piles of dirty clothes.

After waiting a day I called Home Depot back and was told I could not get a exchange because it had now been 3 days but they would give me a loaner fridge but I had to pick it up. After calling corp they changed their tone and decided to deliver the loaner. I asked for a refund instead of exchange. They agreed but had to pick up the fridge before they refunded me my money. I went over 2 weeks with no loaner fridge and it took them an additional week to pick the broken fridge up.

I lost almost $100 worth of food thinking I had a working fridge and I had been through a lot so I asked corp to grant me a $200 credit and I would bring my business back to Home Depot. That was approved but the branch told me I had to come to the same branch to receive it which was a lie according to corp and that branch tried again to rip me off. I went to another branch. Brought a fridge without the credit. Called to ask for a gift card in that price. They denied it, said the branch can do as they please.

I had just spent more money on this fridge than I had the 1st one so I was upset not to mention the loaner was teeny and plain. I cancelled my order because I wasn't giving my business to this company. I went to Lowe's and they took good care of me. I suggest you go to Lowe's. Horrible installation experience with Home Depot. I ordered a GE 30 inch slide in gas range and oven from Home Depot, along with installation, a gas range installation kit, and haul away of my old unit. As promised, the HD installation crew arrived about 7:45 AM (Saturday morning), they removed my old stove (I'd already disconnected and put it on their truck). They brought the new stove into my home (note, unlike some delivery services, they came right in w/dirty feet etc, no hardwood floor protection). They had already uncrated the stove, then proceeded to put the flexible gas line on the stove, and then said they could not fit the gas line to my gas shut off valve.

Mind you, this home is 1981 construction, code-conforming, and Sears had installed a gas range in exactly the same location about 8 years ago with NO problem. The installation crew abruptly halted their work. Said they had 20 installations to do today, then packed up, and said they would file an "exception report" that they could not install. They then drove off, leaving me without any stove, a new stove in the middle of my kitchen - with nothing assembled --- tags and everything still on stove, burners still in the packaging. They didn't even leave the instruction manual or the installations manual(!)... NOTHING. Just left me to figure out how to get my stove working on a Saturday morning.

I drove to the local Home Depot to ask for some help on a resolution. Two of the staff graciously tried to help, but they kept trying to come up with adapters etc. for 3 hours (!) and one of the people from plumbing finally told me I'd just have to use a 3/8-inch line. I said I couldn't, because the older line had been bigger - and I needed a 1/2 in line. I asked if that wouldn't be insufficient for the stove, and he said - it would be fine - it would work for 17,000 BTU. (I told him the main burner for the stove - alone - was 17,000 BTU and said I didn't think it would be sufficient. He said "Oh, your other burners might go down a bit if you turned them all on at once"). This was BS - so I finally just got fed up and walked out of the store.

I wasted 4 hours or more driving to the store, in the store, talking to Home Depot on the phone. Finally, at 1:30 PM, I just decided to do the installation myself, so I went to a different hardware store, bought the parts I'd need, headed home, and had the stove up and running by 2:45 PM. (1 hour and 15 minutes from leaving home for the hardware store, getting their help, bringing the parts home, and completing the installation complete with the anti-tip bracket the "installers" never put in.

I'm fed up with Home Depot, and I will be hard pressed to EVER shop there again. An installation I PAID FOR was never completed by their "installers". They left me with a mess that I'd dare say most homeowners would not know how to resolve on their own (let alone have sufficient monkey wrenches and adjustable crescents etc. to complete the installation. This was a HORRIBLE installation experience, yet the manager at the store said this happens all the time. They have many customers complain that appliances are installed or aren't properly installed...and Home Depot seems to just wash their hands of the whole issue.

They did refund the cost of the installation, but not the installation kit and I ended up spending from about 8 AM until 2:45 PM (most of it talking with their local store staff patiently trying to get a resolution to no avail). I finally lost my cool and walked out. No customer should be subjected to this treatment and this incompetence on installation. In balance, I wish I had told Home Depot to just drop off the appliance and I would have installed it myself from the beginning, but at age 63, I was treating myself by paying for the installation service. Very poor performance Home Depot.

The delivery for the new one took another 10 days, March 9 because the delivery contractor in my area only worked two days a week and was booked that long.

The day before I get a call that they will be there between 4 and 8 at night. At 7:30 I get a call that they are on their way. They never show, so about 9 PM I call the number on my cell I received the call from. The man tells me they had to reschedule. I never received a call to tell me that. He also adds that the truck is not supposed to be out past 7 PM. If that is the case why did they schedule an appointment from 4-8 and why did he call me at 7:30 and say, "He was on the way"? He also says he did not call me back because he could not make outgoing call from that phone. But he had already called me from that number as that is how I got it to call him back.

I then call Home Depot and the lady calls this delivery company and they tell her that everyone in scheduling is gone and to call back in the morning. She puts notes on the file and asks me to call back in the morning and they would call again. I do that and they call and are told the delivery vendor they use only deliver to my area on Thursdays and Fridays and the earliest they could is 3/16/2017 and she says that someone from the delivery service will call me once the figure out what happened. Still have not heard from them. I know this is not Home Depot directly delivering but it is their vendor and I bought from them so I feel they bear some of the responsibility.

Horrible appliance delivery service. Forget the whole same day delivery. First they have to order what you want and you have to wait for it to arrive, then once it arrives you have to wait to be scheduled for what's a three part service they don't tell you about. You find this out when the company that's delivery their product for them calls you up to schedule. I got a call from a company telling me when I was scheduled for my dishwasher to be delivered. Then they informed me that someone ELSE would call to schedule the actual install. Ok is my dishwasher going to sit here for a week waiting to be installed? Thankfully that company called me and said they would install it the NEXT day.

My delivery window was between 3 pm-7 pm I got a call at 5:30 from a lady in the office saying they were on their last hour of deliveries, and that they would call me 30 minutes before arrival. 8 pm rolled around and no call, no dishwasher and no one in the office of the delivery company to talk to. At 8:20 pm I get a call from the driver that they are 10 minutes away. So at this point I have waited 2 hours for a call, I have no idea what's going on and I have no one to talk to because the office is now closed. The dishwasher finally arrives at 8:30 pm. And all the driver can say is "Oh sorry, busy day." Ok I get busy days, and I would probably be a bit more understanding if I had gotten a call telling me you were running behind. Some kind of a heads up would had been nice, where I'm not spending my night wondering if it was coming at all.

Now Mind you, I also paid to have the old dishwasher hauled away. I asked the drivers, who are in a hurry to run out the door, who takes the old dishwasher? Them? or the install guy. NEITHER! Now once it's the new one is installed, I have to call Home Depot and schedule to have the old one removed. Are you kidding me? Who has time for this mess? Where I'm suppose to keep it waiting for a scheduled pick up is beyond me as well. I don't have a garage. So I guess the old one sits in my dining room like the new one is now.

This is a place best kept to buying your plants and DIY material. Anything else past that is worthless, Home Depot doesn't do the work themselves anyway. They hire 3rd and 4th party people not just for install services, but to deliver their own products as well, while pushing that cost off to the customer. Might as well save the time and money, weed out the middleman and go straight to a company that does their own work. It's been one aggravating lessoned learned call BGE home if you need appliances. Or even Sears. Need a roof or fence? or any other product installed? Call a roof or fence company. They are going to sub the work out anyway, and it doesn't save you a dime if anything it's more expensive. There is no communication of how the process works, I guess if there was not many people would be going through them if they knew.

I ordered a brand new refrigerator from Home Depot. The experience at the store was wonderful. Everyone was helpful and nice. I, like many others, were excited to own a brand new refrigerator. I cleaned my old fridge the night before to ensure no bugs were in it. I made a pathway for the delivery people to ease in and out. However, the delivery service was a nightmare.

The people that arrived complained the moment they entered my house. First, they complained about my floor and demand I clean it up. Second, they complained to their bosses about switching the door hinge. Luckily, the hinge was fine. When I told them that, they said "good." Their job is to deliver, install, make required changes, and leave. Saying "good" for refusing to do your job is not a good sign. Third, their refusal to haul my fridge away when I paid 15.00 for haul away service is unacceptable. Their excuse was "it has bugs in it." I already said it was clean in this review, so this answer was sheer laziness. I had to beg them to move it to the nearby junkyard in hopes someone will pick it up.

After all the trouble they caused, the movers had the audacity to ask me to give them a good review! I was so angry. I went back to Home Depot and retrieved my money back for haul away. Meanwhile some stranger picked up the refrigerator. If I knew that, I would have saved myself 15.00. I will not return to Home Depot to purchase appliances again, and I hope you don't either.

Doubtful this will get any response, but figured I'd try to share my recent experience with HD and their warranty program for appliances. I have an LG fridge, and after 6 months it had a problem with the ice maker. I called and made an appointment for service, and was told the tech would be out on Monday, Feb 27th. I took time off to be available for the repair person (as like most people, I don't have a house servant to do that for me). I was told someone from the repair vendor would call me to confirm, which never happened (STRIKE 1 - poor communication).

I then reached out to them directly to make sure they were coming. They indicated they cancelled the service call because they did not have an LG certified tech on staff. They said to call HD to see who was being sent out instead. I called and found out they did not schedule a replacement vendor (STRIKE 2 - they could have called to let me know they were not able to make the appointment). One of the supervisors did try to get someone out that day from LG, but they were not able to make it. (STRIKE 3- took time off for no reason.) They indicated they would reschedule and come out next day.

When I asked the supervisor about compensation for me taking time off and them missing the appointment, was told they would check. Just got a call saying they can't do anything to compensate me. So for those who are considering an appliance purchase and warranty coverage, just remember how much HD values your time. How much is a day off worth to you, and how would you feel if someone stole that from you? Very dissatisfied... HD has failed to look out for their customer in this case.

Asked to reschedule another installation, second one had a big dent when it arrived. They just took it back. Third time they come with a new machine and say that they do not have a paperwork to take away old (installed/damaged) machine. They just leave without even communicating properly. They hardly speak English. This is the worst customer service experience I have had in my life! My family is been taking off from work every time to stay home for installation for these idiots to come and then just leave without finishing the work.

The issue is still not resolved. Now I am in process getting these pathetic guys pick up the dishwasher and get my money refunded. Even that is taking hell lot longer. There are far better shops who would be able to provide awesome appliances installed with much more peace of mind. I am going to take my case to higher consumer authorities. But for people who plan to buy any big item from Home Depot, BEWARE! You'll find better companies who actually care for customers.

I am writing to you to express my complete dissatisfaction with your company. My wife and I have never been treated so horrible before. We placed a large appliance order online on February 5th, 2017. We ordered a Samsung front load washer and dryer. Along with the appliances we ordered a stacking kit. Delivery was scheduled for February 8th. I was able to get home from work in time to meet the delivery. The two men who came one was not able to do any type of install. The other gentleman was too heavy to fit into the room to remove our old (stacked) washer and dryer and install the new one. It was extremely embarrassing for him and for me. He had to tell me he could not fit and would not be able to complete the job today. He immediately got on the phone spoke with his manager and put us on the schedule for Friday February 10th.

I called the 800 number and confirmed we were on the schedule for the 10th and later that same night my wife called to reconfirm and also express how unhappy we were about what had happened that day. There was no concern on the other end from Home Depot not even an apology. "Yes you are on the schedule for Friday. You will receive a call Thursday. Thank you for calling Home Depot." Thursday at about 530 pm I called the 800 number again because we had not yet received a call regarding our delivery window. Once again we were told we were on the schedule but no time yet we should be getting a call around 7 that night. We received no phone call. I called AGAIN this time there was no one available to help us at all. Not that we were getting any help from anyone anyway.

I called our local store at 6am and got a direct line to the delivery service. They were even less helpful. I was told their truck went out already. It was full and they would not deliver to us. I asked about Saturday the 11th. Again, "Our truck is full we won’t deliver to you. We can put you down for Tuesday February 14th". I took a day off of work to be home. The guys came on time except one rather large detail. They were here for a service call. Our stuff was not on the truck. At this point I am beyond furious. So I make yet another phone call to customer service. "We cannot attempt delivery until Friday February 17th." No you have to do better than that. Nothing was done for us. No attempt was made to help us in anyway.

A little while later I get a call from Home Depot. Now I am being told that they cannot locate our washer and dryer. We have to do a dock search and we will get back to you. No one ever called us. So at that moment you had $1398.90 of my family’s money and the merchandise that you lost and we have nothing. We have since cancelled the entire order. We went the next day to JcPenney’s we told them about the awful experience with Home Depot. They went above and beyond for us. We upgraded our appliances and got a better price. My wife and I will not be returning to Home Depot.

On 2/14/17 around 8:35 p.m. I went to Home Depot to buy a washer and dryer, as they were on sale. I asked for credit as I will be paying a down payment of $500. I only got a credit limit of $500 do I had to put 541.59 on it. That was bad enough but when I got to the register to pay the balance, the clerk said "I forgot to tell you, you don't qualify for the 12 month interest free financing, and you will be paying for the hookup." I asked why aren't I getting the 12 months free financing? She (Cynthia was the associate) said because I did not put the whole amount on the credit, and paid with 2 different payments. I said "how could I pay it all with credit, when I only got $500 credit and the total amount was 1041.59." She shrugged her shoulders and walked started walking away. I pointed to her and told her she will be hearing from me.

I had already paid the $541.59. The delivery was to be on 2/17/17, and when I got home, I thought about it, and thought if they were going to play dirty that way, I don't want the merchandise or the credit. I had to work nights and on 2/15 while at work, wrote to the better business bureau about them. I went back on 2/16/17 and told them I do not want their business, that they told me wrong, and took advantage of me, and that I wanted my money back and their credit card back to them. I was told that I had to get a RMA confirmation before they would give me back my $541.59 or close the credit.

It is now 2/19/17 and I have not gotten my money back. It is not my problem about an RMA as the merchandise was never delivered. I am going back to the BBB on 2/20/17 if they don't give me back my money. I am going to also call the corporate office. I am so angry that they won't give me my money, but I will keep fighting. Don't get Home Depot merchandise or credit. They are bad business and don't care about us.

Ordered stackable washer and dryer. On delivery the washer appeared to work. Dryer was very loud and sounded broken. Refused both, stating they were a pair and I would like a replacement dryer. Both were returned on delivery and a mess was left in our condo. When delivery person returned (2 weeks later) they came with just dryer and not washer. I decided to return both for refund. When I called Home Depot was told that I would be charged a 15% restocking fee. This infuriated me that I would be charged for restocking a broken item and I asked to speak with manager.

2 hours later I was called back and informed that I would not be charged restocking fee because I never accepted items but that I would have to go to local Home Depot with credit card in 3 days for refund. Just got back from Home Depot and was told that the delivery company can't locate the original washer so I have to return in 3 days to receive refund or until it is located. I'm concerned it was misplaced and this will carry on indefinitely. Never signed for anything. Not sure why I am financially responsible for their mistake while they try to locate washer.

I am so disappointed in what is happening currently with my appliance purchase. We purchased all new appliances on 1/31/17 and still have not received them. The company Home Depot contracts has failed to bring them and messed scheduling, has lied to cover their mistakes and no one, Home Depot corporate office, Home Depot delivery support or the company Ralphs Transport seems to care one way or another. Leaving me with the choice of waiting until they feel like delivering it, missing more work or canceling the order and purchasing from somewhere else and having to wait longer. This is so disgusting!

I am in the process of renovating a home we just purchased and I will be taking my business from this day forward to Lowe's or any other supply store. I understand, as do many customers mistreated by you, that you could care less if I take my, what is no doubt small purchases in your mind to another store, but that is exactly what I will be doing since Home Depot cares so little about customer satisfaction. And I will also be taking my company purchases to another place of business. As a CEO of a local company myself, I get to not only stop purchasing personally but also through my company. I will do all I can to encourage patronizing businesses other than Home Depot among all my friends and family. And I guess my and my family have to continue living without appliances until Home Depot decides to deliver the items I have already paid for!!

Home Depot will do nothing about it even though they advertise that there is a 365-day return policy when you purchase using their credit card. However, they then say all washers and dryers are "special order", and they do not allow returns. All they do is refer you to Maytag, who just say that is the way these machines are, and they also doesn't stand behind their products. Again were rude and this time the next delivery is 02/16 which is 13 days delay from my original date. I have tenants moving in on 02/10 and will be without appliances for a week!!! The company doesn't care. The manager didn't call me back after many messages. They hang up the phone on me on regular basis and this is after it takes an average of 40 minutes to get someone online. All I have to say is no matter if they swap it out for a real new one no problem the damage is done. I will add a pic of receipt and item in used condition later today.

I purchased all new appliances post flood. I received all of them in a timely fashion, still in box/and crated because my home has not started repairs. The delivery company told me that I had 48 hours from when it was opened to report any problems. He documented on the receipt note it was still in crate. Unfortunately when I placed the crated fridge in its place I saw it would be too big, so I went to the local HD store where I purchased it to talk to someone about a "pick-up for return" and an additional purchase of a smaller fridge at HD. Went to appliance center and she told me to call the online HD number for pick-up return.

The online HD told me they did not handle that it was the local store. I spoke to the service desk at HD and she said that I had to speak to the delivery company but it was closed on Sat. I called the delivery company... it was open! They told me the local HD had to process it. I walked back to the service desk to have her talk to the delivery company on my cell phone. Service desk told me the COS was not in till Monday and to come back. Arrived at the service desk on Monday at 1:20 pm. Left the service desk at 3:15!!! (Yes that long a wait because only 1 person in the store can handle... this the COS) after paying pick up fee and amt. of refund upon receiving the fridge. Scheduled pick up Monday a week later.

Today, Monday morning, I am awaiting a call to tell me what time to expect them to come pick up. I saw a missed call. (I assumed it was possibly the pick up company (FYI - the pickup company is different from the delivery company.) The guy answered and I asked him when he was coming. He hesitated and said "where is your fridge", I said "in the house". He said well I will have to contact HD and get them to put a new pick up on my phone. I said "but you did not even come here, you called 5 minutes ago... did I miss the pick up in 5 minutes?" He said "I will call back". He called back and said he "couldn't pick up the fridge". It had to be "like by the "curb" (?!?!) or garage". I said "no one told me it had to be outside the house!!!" (I am glad the weather was nice today.) He said the company that "delivered it" was supposed to pick it up. I told him the HD COS said it would be a "different" company.

10:12 am - I called HD and told them what just happened. She said she would contact the company and work it out. Meanwhile the HD delivery company called and said they had to deliver my microwave tomorrow. I asked them "will you pick up the fridge I am returning." They said they could not because they did not have authorization. I told them my story of the morning. No hope other than contact HD. 3:41 pm - Called back HD. Put on hold, she asked questions. I told her I had the paperwork in front of me, I had a call for pickup but they couldn't get it because it wasn't outside. She put me on hold. She came back on the phone and said a "different company will pick it up" from the delivery.

I laughed. (I wanted to cry.) I told her the HD system between delivery and pick-up for return is BROKEN! I explained to her the above story... she told me the woman in charge was in a meeting and she will call me back to work it out. No one called back and it is 7:30 pm now. HD set a delivery for a microwave tomorrow and the second fridge in a few days, (the same company that delivered my first fridge that is sitting in my house.) Go figure. Has there ever been such a difficult task of returning. I have NEVER ever had one like this.

Bought the Samsung RF30HBEDBSR in September 2014 and was delivered December 2014. Started having problems with ice maker end of April 2016. Called the Home Depot protection plan for repair which started the ongoing 8 month repair that has still not been corrected. 5/7 - Best Electronics came out and replaced the ice maker. 8/23 - J & R came out and replaced ice maker again. 8/26 - Called Home Depot protection plan and told them still not working properly. They said "since you have had a couple of the same issues a supervisor will call to discuss." (NO call from supervisor.) 8/29 - Home Depot Protection plan (not supervisor) called me back saying they are sending out J & R to diagnose.

8/31 - Tech from J & R came out and sealed up the sides of ice maker and said this is a known issue with Samsung and may continue to have problems. The sealing of the sides USUALLY fixes it. (Usually? Guess I didn't buy the right Home Depot protection plan. I thought I bought the one where my appliance actually gets fixed). 11/8 - Called Home Depot protection plan and told them it is still not fixed. They scheduled J & R to come back out on 11/11. 11/11 - J & R did not show. Had family obligations throughout holidays and was not able to call to let them know that J & R never showed. 1/13 - Spoke with J & R and they told me to call back Home Depot protection plan because they already closed out the order. So they decided to not show up and to close service order without anyone contacting me. 1/20 - Spoke with J & R and they were scheduled for 1/23.

1/23 - Tech came out and looked at for a total of about 4 minutes and said "oh this is a known problem and we have to seal it." Told him that another tech previously did that. He said he doesn't have any of the sealant on his truck and will have to order it along with a sensor. He said J & R will call me back to schedule another date. 1/24 - Spoke with Kiesha at Home Depot protection plan and told her of all the issues and that tech came out on 1/23 and didn't have the parts and would have to order. Also told her that this is the second tech that says this is a known problem and may continue to have problems. She says she will escalate to supervisor but still doesn't qualify under lemon because not enough repairs on same part. (Wow. I am just flabbergasted at this point.)

1/24 - Spoke with Lashara at Asurion and informed her of all the problems and she says there is nothing she can do but escalate it and someone will call me. 1/25 - Emailed Social Media Team all my issues. So at this point all I can do is wait and hope something gets done. And miss another day's pay when and if someone comes back out.

Summary: I spent $3200 for fridge. $150 for protection plan. $300+ lost wages having to stay home from work to wait on tech. Which didn't even show up one time. Numerous times out of my day talking to J & R, Home Depot protection plan, and Asurion. And still not fixed. Beyond that I fear for my family having this fridge with this issue.

One of the issues is the ice maker is completely frozen over which I feel may stop the sensors from working properly and cause it to continue to run which may cause the motor to burn out and cause a fire. I know this is very unlikely but with 2 small children in the house I am very uncomfortable having this fridge with these issues and no repair in sight. And with techs telling me what they are doing USUALLY fixes it is very unsettling. At this point I feel no one cares. I will NEVER buy another appliance from Home Depot and all my family, friends, and co-workers will hear of all the problems I am having which will discourage them from buying any appliance from Home Depot.

I purchased 4 new high end appliances from the Home Depot. I strongly recommend purchasing somewhere else. They only give you 48 hours to determine functioning of product. The dishwasher I purchased from the Clearwater store was delivered and not installed since upon delivery the driver said he was unable to installed due to location. This was not discussed at time of purchase. I paid for install and take away. If knowing this I would not have paid for the service. Upon finding out I needed to get a plumber out to install. It was discovered several parts were broken inside the dishwasher as well as the hinge on the door.

Guess what the 48 hours were up. Now I am stuck with trying to deal with the manufacturer even with extended warranty with home depot. Home Depot (Clearwater) refuses to do anything about it. My recommendation would if you need to buy from one of the box stores deal with Lowe's. They give you 30 days no questions asked for returns. Stay away from The Home Depot for appliance purchases. They are not helpful or cooperative once they get your money.

We purchased an LG Washer and Dryer from Home Depot after spending a lot of time at home doing research and a lot of time in the store talking to the associate. We made our choice and arranged for the appliances to be delivered and paid for our purchase. Our first issue is that the purchase was charged to our credit card before they were even delivered to our home. I don't like this because now I have paid for a product that I do not even have possession of and I am being charged interest on a product I don't even have yet. If this is the policy, nobody explained to us we would pay for something we don't have yet. I think the charge should be on hold until delivery.

We got our washer and dryer and the washer worked for one load of laundry and then stopped working. We called our Home Depot and the manager said "what do you want me to do about it - call the delivery service" - we called the delivery service who told us to call LG - LG then told us to call the store. After two weeks of the runaround, our appliances were picked up. During this time, HD refused to credit our money back - so now we are paying interest on a broken appliance. Once the washer and dryer were gone it took Home Depot 3 days to credit our card for one appliance - when I called they said we only returned the washer and not the dryer so could credit the card.

Now I had to call the delivery company who told me to call LG - who called the delivery company and verified we did return the dryer. So another call to Home Depot and several more days for the rest of our money to be returned. All in all, it took a few minutes to charge 1600 to our card and 30 days to get the return and credit completed. This is a terrible system and terrible service. I will only buy small tickets items now from Home Depot and not appliances or any type of service.

I purchased all of my kitchen appliances at the same time during their Labor Day Annual Sale. I selected the delivery date based on a remodel I was in the middle of. The delivery date came and went. It was rescheduled but I had to do all the work of calling and calling, sitting on hold for eternity, wasting more time than I can describe. Eventually I received my appliances. Both freezer and the refrigerator were damaged and had to be taken back. I attempted to get the replacement but was told it would be a couple of months. Home Depot has a policy that they will deliver but cannot bring it into the house. They wanted to set my appliances on the street, not even at the door. This is absurd. I am a 60 year old woman and I cannot comprehend that I am suppose to inspect them outside and not then what? Carry them in myself?

Home Depot refuses to purchase the correct employee insurance so that they can provide normal customer service. They just repeat over and over how they cannot come into the house without a solution. This has been the worst customer service I have ever had remodeling. I am honestly shocked at how they handle things. My contractors have spent between 2-4 hours trying to pick up supplies I have purchased that are set in the back until pick-up. The amount of time and money wasted is like being at the DMV. After Home Depot's poor service I have finally gotten the appliances delivered this week, Jan 14th, 2017. This order was placed and PAID FOR around September 7th, 2016. The refrigerator was again damaged from their excellent handling. Fortunately it was in a spot that would be hidden by my cabinet so I was able to keep it.

I had the same experience ordering a custom external French door. I placed the order for this door around the same time. I received it in January 2017. Nothing but excuses and when they delivered it, they were suppose to meet the contractor to bring it into the house. Guess where it was set? Believe it or not, outside on the street leaned up against a stone wall. Anyone could have taken it and if it had rained it would have been ruined. They just left it and drove away. No phone call, no explanation, just left it outside on the street. Not only did the delivery of 3 weeks turn into a delivery of 4 months but even then, they couldn't even offer some customer service. Between the Southgate store or the Pike's Peak store, I cannot even tell which one is worse. The unbelievable bad customer service is identical with both orders.

I don't know if Lowe's is any better but I would highly recommend you think seriously before working with Home Depot. If you have a deadline, like a remodel to sell, you will go broke waiting for them to deliver. If there are problems you'll sit on hold for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours... With no resolve and concessions that are laughable. I received a $50 concession for all of this chaos, that's it.

I ordered from Home Depot, Greenville, Texas a Whirlpool Refrigerator in September 2016 with an extended warranty of 5 years. They contract with a delivery service - Daryl Flood - in Garland, Texas which is 45 minutes from my house. They are unwilling to work with your work schedule and would only deliver on Thursdays. I work from home on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. If you live in the metroplex they will deliver several days a week, however, I am outside of the area.

The first delivery to my house resulted in the refrigerator being damaged. So, I ordered another one. Beginning of a nightmare! Then on November 1st, the refrigerator that I was trying to replace started making a very, very loud noise that made a sound like when you hit a red and black charge together on a pair of jumper cables. I thought something might catch on fire so I called the repair man and he said definitely get rid of it. I stayed home every Thursday in October which resulted in missed appointments and the delivery of two damaged refrigerators with the delivery service from Garland.

Finally, Whirlpool got involved and contracted with JB Hunt to deliver a replacement on January 10, 2017. I waited 3 months... This is an outrage. What is even worse, is listening day and night to the loud noise coming from the refrigerator when the compressor came on. JB Hunt delivery was awesome. They laid a carpet runner to avoid stain on my carpet.

I have spots from Garland delivery. They took doors off so they would not get banged up coming in the house. Garland delivery refused to do this. My foundation will shift slightly when we get no rain and then shift back when raining. Garland delivery put a board under the front of the refrigerator, JB Hunt leveled it using wheels on front of the refrigerator. This is the first and last time I will order from Home Depot that requires delivery. I have located other dealers where I can get appliances. Be informed and know what you are getting yourself into when expecting decent customer service. It won't be found at Home Depot.

My complaint is with RAS Delivery Service that contracts with Home Depot. I am giving them 1 star because they did bring the refrigerator in and sat it down. Their performance was VERY UNSATISFACTORY. The delivery & installation by RAS Delivery Service, contracted by Home Depot was BAD and not as described by Home Depot. Two guys, (one named Will) delivered the refrigerator. Set it in the house and plugged it in. Did not connect the icemaker as per Home Depot and did not adjust or level the frig.

When questioned "Will" said he was only supposed to deliver it, that someone else would come and install the icemaker and set it up. He said since I was being "inconvenienced" that Home Depot would make the service call for free! Sounds like a racket by RAS Delivery Service to me. He refused to call Home Depot or RAS to clarify the instructions and left! I called Home Depot immediately and they contacted RAS and the man returned late afternoon and hooked up the ice maker. The ice maker did not work!!! I waited 48 hours and it still did not work!

I pulled out the refrigerator and saw how he had connected the black water supply line on the back. He had it pulled so tight that it was kinked and flattened where it connects at the bottom of the refrigerator. This was during several days of ice/snow in North Carolina. I got a neighbor to come and disconnect the supply line and fix the black waterline that is attached to the back of the refrigerator the way it should be and now it works fine!

To any and all who read this... DO NOT BUY ANY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT!!! Home Depot themselves aren't the issue, but it is their HORRIBLE delivery service that ruins it for them! My girlfriend and I recently bought a Co-op and are renovating. We bought all other appliances from Sears... Wish I kept it that way. We purchased a washer and dryer from Home Depot at the beginning of November 2016, don't recall exact date. We set the delivery for 11/19/2016. As expected, I received the call the day before confirming the delivery. The truck shows up at specified time. The guys come in to ask where we want the appliances, go back out to the truck and come right back in empty handed. They told me they forgot to put the appliances on the truck! Seriously?... OK, kinda worked in my favor as renovation was really going on and had no place to store the washer dryer. I called the delivery service and rescheduled for 1/7/2017.

As expected, I received the confirmation call for delivery to be expected between 9 am and 1 pm. On the day of delivery, there was a decent snowfall throughout the day. Around 2 pm with a no-show, I called the delivery service to see if maybe it was delayed or cancelled due to the weather. Nope, delivery still scheduled. Around 3 pm I received a call from the delivery service and was expecting to be told no delivery due to the weather, which I could have possibly understood... but to my surprise, the reason given to me for not delivering was because there was other boxes in the way that they didn't feel like moving so the washer/dryer never made it on the truck!!! Are you ** kidding me?!

Not only do I now view them as incompetent because of the first screw up, but now I can safely add LAZY to the list!! And maybe you think I'm kidding about the response from them, but my contractor was there and could not believe it himself! I wish I was making this up. So I call the service back first thing Monday morning to reschedule. I explain the entire situation to the service representative and ask for the items to be delivered the following Saturday 1/14/2017. She tells me that they are booked up for Saturday, which I suppose I can understand being right after the holidays and I can imagine so many appliances have been bought with the holiday deals. But after 2 screw ups on their part, I'd figured they'd be inclined to salvage this trainwreck and accommodate me. NOPE!

I asked to speak to her manager and am given the supervisor... I suppose good enough, or so I thought. I plead my case with the supervisor and to no avail, I hear the same song and dance. We cannot accommodate you. The next available delivery date is the 19th. She then proceeded to tell me to go to the Home Depot I purchased it from to see if they will pick it up from the warehouse and deliver it.

So the same day I drive to my local Home Depot in Yonkers, NY where I purchased the washer/dryer. I spoke with James, the same gentleman I made the purchase with. Outstanding guy he is. I explained the situation to James and he was dumbfounded and in disbelief that they told me they didn't want to move boxes to get to my items, especially given the amount of time they had to get the items ready for delivery.

I told him what the supervisor had told me. He went and spoke with his supervisor, although explained to me that that is something they have never done before. He came back only to tell me they won't pick it up and drop it off because they aren't responsible for it and it would void warranty on the appliances. I then ask if there is any way to be compensated for this disaster and my wasted time in store credit or gift cards or something. He returns to his supervisor to ask, and unfortunately, it's no longer a Home Depot issue because it is now in the hands of the delivery service.

Needless to say, I now need to take a day off from work to sit around and wait for a delivery. I will NEVER buy anything from Home Depot that requires delivery ever again! I STRONGLY URGE those who read this review to consider the same. Regardless of the deal you may get, the INCOMPETENCE and LAZINESS and OVERALL DISREGARD FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS is nowhere near worth the deal you may think you're getting!

Terrible experience with Home Depot installers. I purchased a KitchenAid wall oven and dishwasher from Home Depot for over $3,600, including installation. Once they were available for shipping, Home Depot contacted us with a delivery date that was well past the original target date which would completely disrupt our Christmas plans. They told us if we wanted to attempt an earlier delivery date that we needed to contact the shipping company directly. I would have expected Home Depot to take care of this step but we assumed responsibility and did arrange for an earlier delivery date.

The appliances were delivered on Saturday, December 17th. The installers were scheduled to arrive on Monday, December 19th. When the installers arrived they informed me that they were only scheduled to install the wall oven and could not install the dishwasher. They told me that the delivery personnel are supposed to install the dishwasher. I contacted Home Depot about the dishwasher installation. They confirmed that the delivery personnel should have installed the dishwasher. To make a long story a little shorter, Home Depot sent another installer to our house on Tuesday. When he arrived (5 hrs after the scheduled time), he said since there was a piece of wood trim across the top of the existing dishwasher and the fact that we have granite countertops, he could not do the installation and left.

Now we were 36 hours away from our Christmas guests arriving. Home Depot didn’t know what else to do so I agreed to find my own installer (remember I prepaid for the installation and now have been required to take 2 days of vacation to be home for their installers). I found a qualified installer which arrived Wednesday afternoon (a little over 12 hrs before my guests were to arrive) and completed the installation in 2 hrs. The installation cost was $320. I sent the bill to Home Depot and after several phone calls they agreed to pay only $150 of the bill as that is more in line with their fees.

Considering two failed attempts of the Home Depot installers the phrase “you get what you pay for” comes to mind. This was escalated to the store manager of the Roswell, GA Home Depot on Crossville Road but to no avail. Image a business that is willing to lose a customer that has spent over $25,000 at that particular store over an additional $170 expense based on repeated mistakes and missed commitments on their part.

After taking off four hours to get a dishwasher installed two days ago, it is leaking badly. Now I am being told that it will take another 8 hours off of work and 2-3 days to have it repaired, no exceptions. The delivery company is Linkstar. If you want to buy something from Home Depot I'd get another company to install it; maybe someone private that can be reasonably responsible.

Three men arrived in a timely manner. They did not know how to do installation of any of the appliances correctly. They were all Hispanic and did not know the English language well at all. Kept saying "we don't do that". They supposedly hooked up our new propane gas stove to existing line, but did not do the conversion process. We smelled gas after they left and nearly had a fire and had to call 911. They said our stove wasn't installed properly for propane and the fittings were not tightened which caused the gas leak, and we had to shut off all gas.

My husband checked the microwave installation and found it was hanging by one screw and one brace underneath (there are four braces that must be connected). He had to take it down and reinstall it himself. He also had to properly follow directions and do the conversion properly himself. They could not get the refrigerator into the space correctly and said "it didn't fit" when we had done all our measurements correctly; therefore the water line was left unconnected as well; and they left without connecting the dishwasher to the water lines. We had a GE dishwasher before, so it should not have been an issue for them. They just said "we don't do that". My husband just told them to leave.

Mind you, we paid extra for "installation" of our appliances and ended up having to do all the installations ourselves. We were replacing all our GE appliances that were over ten years old with new. We had no idea that Home Depot hired out to a company who simply had employees who did not know how to install anything correctly or safely! Also Home Depot sells their products, gets paid, and then the responsibility for delivery and safe and correct installation is given over to someone else, so they wash their hands of anything.

We tried to resolve our issues with Home Depot to no avail. The "Terminal Manager" in charge of delivery and installation told me that he realized this was an ongoing issue and that he would see to it that our installation fees were credited back. To date that has not happened. Our sale was made on 12/15/16, and delivery was 12/22/16. So all during Christmas, I could not cook or have guests in our home due to the incompetence of these three Hispanic employees. Someone needs to be held accountable!

On 11/26/16, my son purchased a Maytag dishwasher as a Christmas surprise for me. He wanted to purchase and pick up in the store but they said it had to be delivered, no store pick up. It was delivered on 12/14/16. The box it came in was in perfect condition and delivery was accepted. On Christmas Eve, my son (Who is a plumber), opened the box to install it for me and found a huge dent in the back of the dishwasher. Also the spray arm was broken. We brought it back to Home Depot on 12/26 and they refused to accept the return. They stated that delivery is made by a third party delivery company and that we had 48 hours to report the damage.

We again told them that the damage was not done during delivery as there would have been damage to the box but that it was damaged prior to packaging. They told us we had to deal directly with Maytag and they would do nothing for us. Maytag has sent us a new spray arm but we still haven't had any luck with the dent which extends into the dishwasher. I have filed a complaint with BBB. My son was never told about the 48 hour inspection period which I feel is something that should be told upfront. I will never have anything delivered from Home Depot again. If I can purchase it in the store, and inspect it at the time of purchase, perhaps I may use them again.

On December 2nd I was told the oven arrived from the factory damaged and they would call me with a new installation date. December 12th I called to ask about the oven and was told it had been installed. After an hour of conversations I got a new installation date of the 17th. Then it was the 19th. I called and asked for a refund and subsequently the oven was delivered in my living room. Installation came in 2 days later and destroyed a wall, the wiring and then told me it didn't fit. However they managed to haul off my old oven. I was now without any oven. I called and talked to the store manager who offered compensation and a loaner oven. Loaner oven was installed and the process as of January 4th has completely stalled. They are satisfied with the current state. Called corporate and was referred back to the store manager.

We have one of the highest national costs for electricity. No natural gas available, so gas stove purchase means having to convert to Propane. But the in-store write-up and salesperson said "complete installation". That wasn't the case in reality. There was no hookup to the LP gas, and there was no installation (swap out) of the burner nozzles. "Liability" was the excuse. I call it an excuse because if they'd have revealed it before-hand, we would have either accepted the "terms of sale" or made a different decision. Other appliance dealers don't want to service a purchase from a different dealer.

Now we don't get to use the stove until can find someone who has the tools and expertise. It isn't hard, in theory, and Home Depot "graciously" provided written instruction. Right. Gas needs to be hooked up by a knowledgeable technician. If you drop the tiny nozzles to convert to LP, you'd have to take the stove apart to retrieve them, looks like. There are lots of homeowners here with no access to natural gas. Not happy with false advertising and/or lack of disclosure.

Our home was flooded in the Hurricane and our appliances were ruined. I purchased over $3,000 of new appliances from HD in November. They were delivered on the 22nd of November. We moved back in and began to use them on December 16th. No one informed me at the store or with the delivery that if I did not complain of a defective product within 48 hours of delivery, I would be stuck with a "repaired" product that I paid a "new product" price for. My washing machine (Maytag) sounds like it is a threshing machine. My neighbor can hear it in her house. I called HD who refused to do anything about it. They told me to call repair (which I have done) and IF it is not repairable, Maytag would have to make arrangements to come and get it and replace it -- NOT HOME DEPOT. Amazing!

The GE refrigerator leaks, is uneven and sweats. Another repair person coming out from GE. I will have over $3,000 of used HD appliances when the repairs are done. The Customer Care lady (Sharita) at HD would NOT let me talk to a manager. She said "Managers do not get on the phone." She would not confirm our conversation in writing and told me to get a subpoena if I wanted written information.

Out of curiosity I called Lowe's for their Major Appliance return policy. Here it is in writing folks. "30 Days on major appliances (including but not limited to refrigerators 9-cu ft or larger, washing machines, dryers and range hoods), outdoor power equipment (including but not limited to mowers, chain saws, generators, pressure washers, trimmers and blowers) and highway trailers." I am SO SORRY I did not go to Lowe's. If this review will stop just one person from making the same mistake I by shopping HD and go to Lowe's instead, it is worth the time I took to write it. I have a complaint on file with HD for all the good it does me.

I purchased a GE refrigerator and stove from the Rockland MA Home Depot on 11/26/16. My delivery date was set for 12/19/16. When I did not receive a phone call the evening before the delivery I called the Home Depot. They told me that I had called and canceled the delivery. I did not cancel the delivery. The Home Depot rep told me that they have no control over the GE deliveries and I had to call a toll free number. Of course that number is an automated line that only provides basic info and then hangs up on you. I did learn that my appliances were going to delivered 12/27/16. The automated system told me the reason the items were not delivered was because they were back ordered. So now I have 2 reason why my items were not delivered. I decided to wait until 12/27. On 12/23 I received an automated call informing me the items would be delivered 12/27 between 9:15 and 1:15. Great!

Fast forward to 12/27 at 1:30 PM I had not received the items, my gas stove is already removed. I called the toll free number again. It says my items are scheduled to be delivered 12/27 but no timeframe. They told me on 12/23 it would be between 9:15 and 1:15. Having gone through this already a week before, I called Home Depot. A very nice customer service rep had mercy on me and gave me the number to a company called Spirit who delivers the GE merchandise. The woman at Spirit told me I was in fact scheduled for 12/27 but they couldn't find the order so it was never put on the truck. Mind you they never notified me of this. Next delivery wouldn't be until 1/4/17.

I told her that was unacceptable and called Home Depot back. The Home Depot rep then told me that Spirit said I had cancelled the delivery. ARGH!!! So now it's my fault. Why I would call to complain about not having a delivery that I had just cancelled was lost on the Home Depot rep. So I tried calling GE. I called the appliances helpline. Guess who they send me back to? This is the kind of stuff that infuriates people. So as much as I would really like to purchase these items, I have no confidence that Home Depot or GE will get it to me. So I then really did cancelled the whole thing! The sad part is nobody cares, not Home Depot, not GE and not Spirit the delivery company. If you purchase a GE appliance from Home Depot, ask them for the name of the company that will deliver it. If they won't tell you or say Spirit, take my advice, don't buy it!

Home Depot falsely advertises installation by licensed and insured professionals. You'd think that would mean they should be licensed in the relevant trade for installation for the product they sell but apparently it only means they have a driver's license. Home Depot licensed professional are not licensed plumbers/electricians. They may have a business license but they are essentially incompetent delivery men.

What kind of world do we live in when the day laborers outside are competent enough to install the appliances sold inside, but the "professionals" you pay for in the store for installation are utterly incapable of doing anything but finding excuses to refuse installation. The extent of their ability is lugging heavy ** and plugging in your new appliances (assuming it is the correct voltage). Worse of all, Home Depot policy will not refund the $250 charged for sending two mentally disabled individuals to your house to do nothing. This should be some kind of crime.

As a former employee for 21 years and stockholder of your company, I was very upset to find out about my sister and brother in-law's experience during a recent visit to Home Depot. I tried to tell them this is not the way we treat our customers. I am hoping when you read their letter, someone will fix this problem. They have been without appliances for a month. This is probably the worst time of the year for a family of six to be without working appliances. Please help...

My Name is Jeffery **. My Home depot account phone number is **. On November 22, 2016 My wife and I went into the St Petersburg, Florida store: #0257 to purchase a space saver microwave. While looking at your appliances displays we decided to purchase a LG space saver microwave and a LG double oven. I discussed with the sales person at length about having the range installed (several minutes about how convenient this service was and at a nominal cost of only $50.00). We spent a considerable amount of time with our sales person as she entered the order into the system, at which time she indicated that she normally does not work in appliances but since it was a holiday week employees normally cover other areas.

As the order was being placed our sales person let us know that the LG double oven was on sale and that we were saving about $300.00. Excitedly I asked if I could use a promotions coupon that I received through email from home depot. She scanned the coupon and it took an additional 10% off the total order price. Delivery was scheduled for 11/29/2016, as you can probably imagine we were excited, happy and could hardly wait to receive our new appliances.

Delivery process Issues: On the delivery day 11/29/2016 I took the day off from my Job. When the delivery truck arrived as they were getting ready to take the products off the truck, one of the delivery workers said that they would not be installing the microwave. Surprised I informed him that I paid to have it installed. He said that there must have been a mistake and that it was not on his order. He indicated that on his order the only thing they were to install was the double oven, which didn't make sense to me. He said that he would go to the truck and call his office to see what they could do. Instead of calling his office they got back in the truck and left (never took anything off).

I immediately went back to the home depot store #0257 to speak to a manager and explained the situation and asked if they could simply add the installation charge for the microwave that was left off and have the delivery rescheduled. The manager informed me that they were unable to get in contact with the delivery company and that she would have to redo the entire order just to add the installation charge. While in the process of redoing the order the manager informed me that the LG double oven we ordered was out of stock, and that since it was out of stock she could not place another order, and that I would have to wait until the delivery was returned and scanned back into the system, and that I needed to call or check back the next day.

The next day 11/30/2016 I went back into home depot to see if the items were scanned back in, I was informed they were not and that I could call or check again tomorrow, and that it takes about 48hrs sometimes to scan items back in. The manager said that she would place a note in the system that would allow us to get the products purchased at the same price (only if purchased within 30 days).

On December 1, 2016 I received a call from a manager who informed me that he would try to put another order in for me, he later called back and said that they were extremely busy and that he didn’t get a chance to put in the order and that I could just come in a place another order, and that the double oven was still out of stock until January 2017.

Exterior Door and Storm Door service Issue: On 11/29/2016 while at Home Depot store# 0257 trying to resolve the aforementioned issue with the appliance delivery, I decided to purchase an exterior door and storm door. The Home Depot employee I talked to was very helpful and informed me, what the Home Depot process was, I informed him that I wanted to confirm the exterior door and storm door selections with my wife and that I would return. We returned later that evening and talked to the same Home Depot sales person, who put an order into the system for a measurement. I paid for the measurement order and was informed that I would get a call from the installer to setup a time for the measurement.

After a week had past and I hadn’t received a call from the company or individual providing the exterior door and storm door installation. I sent an email via Home Depot website, stating that I had not received a call to setup a time for the measurement. The next day I received a call from a manager from home depot who left a message for me stating that the installer said that he has been trying to contact me. I also received an email response from Home Depot stating that the issue I contacted them about basically has been resolved because their records indicate “I have been contacted”. Up to this point I had not received a phone call or message from anyone other than the message from the manager from Home Depot.

Later that evening I received a call around 7:30pm from the installer he said he would come out and take measurements on December 7, 2016, which was done. I received a call from Home Depot on December 10, 2016 notifying me that measurement was back and that I could come in and complete the order. I went back to Home Depot 12/10/2016 and as I got ready to complete the purchase for the order, the Home Depot sales person informed me that the storm door was not on the order and that they would have to send the installer back out to do another measurement, he put in another order for a measurement.

On 12/17/2016 I went back to Home Depot to see if the measurement was completed, why because I didn’t receive a call from the installer. The sales person I talked to at Home Depot informed me that they had a note in the system that they placed a call to the installer. The Home Depot sales person gave me the number of the installer and suggested I try and call.

Conclusion: I feel that Home Depot is unconcerned with how its customers are treated or neglected by its service providers, and managers display a superficial concern for customer satisfaction and issue resolution. Does anyone care that Home Depot has lost over $3,000 in sales just with this customer, probably not, because I don’t seem matter to anyone. It appears to me that my time, patience, frustration, and money is not valued, because as of 12/21/2016 I have not been able to make the purchases I set out to make from Home Depot over a month ago.

On November 19, 2016, I purchased a stove, dishwasher and microwave online. Upon purchase, I was told that the stove was on back order and all three appliances won't be delivered until December 11. (Problem 1.) On December 10, I got a call that the appliances won't be delivered because the stove is still on back order. The back order information was known when I purchased it on November 19, why was I only called the day before that it is STILL on back order? They also said that because it was purchased as a package, none of the appliances will be delivered until the stove comes in. I asked if I can cancel the purchase and just reorder the microwave and the dishwasher and they said it was fine but it would be at the price it is now, and not the after thanksgiving sale.

The conversation ended with them telling me that the appliance will be delivered on December 21, which was a huge inconvenience as I was hosting a party that Saturday without a functioning dishwasher. The following day, the delivery truck came, without notice, and delivered my microwave and dishwasher. (I thought this wasn't possible but oh well, I'm happy that something was delivered). (Problem 2.) I paid for installation but somehow, the delivery company wasn't aware of this so they did not have the supplies to install all the appliances. (Problem 3.) I showed the guy my receipt that I paid for the installation and instead of him calling to resolve the issue, he wanted me to call Home Depot. (Problem 4.) After speaking to the delivery company, I was told that the next time they can come back is on December 21.

After complaining, suddenly they said they can come back on Wednesday. There is a miscommunication on Home Depot's part but unless I make a big deal about it, they won't go out of their way to resolve the problem. (Problem 5.) On Tuesday, I called the delivery company to confirm the time for dishwasher installation on Wednesday and they said that I am not on the schedule. Again, they said they couldn't come back until December 21 and after complaining again, they said that they can send someone out the following day. (Problem 6.) Today, I followed up again because I was told that I would get a call to get a 4 hour window for the delivery and guess what? I didn't get a call. When I spoke to a customer service representative, I was told that the delivery company is already close but that the notes don't say anything about a scheduled delivery for the oven.

The only thing they have is for the delivery company to come out and install the microwave (which was already installed). (Problem 7.) Given the history of having problems one after another, I was not offered for someone to call me back and resolve this issue. Once again, the best your customer service can do is say that I need to call back tomorrow. There is no urgency for anyone I've spoken to so far to resolve all these problems. There is no initiative from any manger or supervisor to make sure this gets resolved ASAP. It's been over a month since I've ordered this online and to this day, I still don't have a stove and I don't have a date of when this will come. It is absolutely frustrating.

Monday came, no appliances. Called back and they said Tuesday between 1-5. 4:30 came... 5 came... no appliances. Called the store and they said the delivery company conveniently "forgot" to put them on the truck!! Third day late now and they said they could deliver them Thursday... A week later before Christmas and we thought we were getting new appliances before the holiday. No thank you Home Depot we will go to Lowe's from now on.

After delivery I found out the washer has terrible vibration during spinning so I called HD during first 48 hr to return defective washer, they refuse to give me refund. They send me someone to check out and the person said that washer is defective (after leveling was not better) and he sent HD note about. I tried get refund again, so now they want to send the LG representative repairman. Why I need repair since the item is defective since first day, and waste my work time to be home. Costco will give me refund in similar situation. Don't buy appliances in HOME DEPOT. Not worth the stress!!!

I thought Home Depot was supposed to be known for the customer service. I will NEVER buy LG products through Home Depot again. I have always used Home Depot as my go to for home repairs, tools, etc. I bought a new washer/dryer and refrigerator for my house and was told the delivery date would be a few days later, November 21st. GREAT! The delivery day came and I received no information about where my appliances were. I called Home Depot and they told me they had moved my delivery date to the next day November 22nd. This was not ideal, but it would work.

A few hours later (at 5 pm CST the DAY my delivery was already supposed to be at my house) I received a call from LG saying they had messed up one of the master numbers on my order and now I would not be receiving my appliances until December 1st. I spent 3 HOURS on the phone with Home Depot and LG throwing out ideas, and no one gave me ANY assistance or solution for my issues. This was 3 days before Thanksgiving!!!

To make matters worse, when December 1st came around I had a delivery window between 8-10am. The driver called and said they would arrive "in about an hour" - around 10 am. He then called me 25 minutes later and said they were AT my house. I rushed home to find no one. When I called the phone back there was no answer. Shortly after a gentleman called me to say they decided to do another delivery first and would be to me in about 10 minutes. 45 minutes later (at 10:15) they showed up to my house. Overall this experience was AWFUL. I will never go back to Home Depot or LG to order appliances, and I will never suggest them to anyone looking for appliances.

I purchased a microwave in late November and was recommended to get a filler kit so that it would fit the space. I scheduled the delivery for early December and communicated that it would need to be installed before 4pm as that is when I pick up my kids from school. The associate told me it would be no issue and made a note on the delivery form. The day before my delivery I got a call that the delivery window was between 2:45 and 6:45pm. I called to let them know that this would be an issue if it was after 4 and that I had communicated this when scheduling the delivery. After waiting on hold for a half an hour, the person on the other end just kept repeating the phrase "we can't guarantee delivery times". Therefore I had to reschedule and the earliest date available was almost 2 weeks out.

On the day of delivery I waited at home for 4 hours and 10 minutes. Before the end of the delivery window I got a call that they were 20 minutes away. They came to my house, took out the existing microwave and then announce that they would be unable to install the new microwave as they were unfamiliar with the filler kit. I was told they would schedule a follow up service call early the next week.

After hearing nothing I called GE Home delivery the contracted delivery vendor and after holding for 1/2 hour, giving my story, being hung up on, calling back, holding for another 1/2 hour and explaining it all again, I was told that no service call had been scheduled and they would be unable to install the microwave because of the filler kit and that I should call an electrician on my own or figure it out with the Home Depot. I called the Home Depot and was told they would look into it and call me back... As of yet I have not heard back. A month after purchasing our new microwave it has still not been installed and since our old one was hauled away we no longer have that either. Truly the most frustrating, time consuming, worst delivery experience ever.

I purchased a washer from store on 4635 Presidential Pkwy in Macon GA and paid $450.00 on my debit card. Talked with older female salesperson working there whom I thought that was knowledgeable about appliances. I went in thinking I could find an older wash preferably a GE which I had purchased about 16 years ago. (Mine finally quit.) The salesperson was quick to show me a washer that was still in the box unopened stating that it was a good washer. I asked if I could see a display and she stated that it was the last washer of that kind and stated that it was a very good brand.

After telling her what my expectations were I felt as if the salesperson was steering me in the right direction. I bought the washer, took it home on 12/10/16. Finally got it installed on 12/14/16 and when I saw it, it looked more like a commercial washer. But since it was there I decided to try it. As it washed and the lid locked, I was like I don't like the washer. So I disconnected it and put it back in the box to return it. Once I got to Home Depot with the washer on 12/17/16 with the receipt, and the debit card I was told by the Asst. Manager that they do not take appliances back after 48 Hours.

I asked her to tell me where was that policy displayed at in the store and she told me that it would be online. (No sign in the store.) So then I pulled up the policy and it stated that defective or damaged appliances have to be returned within 48 Hours. Well neither one of them applied to this situation, this is a simple "I DO NOT LIKE THE WASHER." I called corporate in Atlanta GA, spoke with a supervisor named ** and they gave me the same song and dance. What I would like to know is If they have a No Return Policy after 48 hours why isn't it displayed so that customers know that returning the appliance is not an option.

I would have never bought any appliance from here. In fact my receipt says that the return policy on my item is 90 days. They still insist that it is a generic message. I end up walking out leaving the washer there because I am very disappointed with the company and do not want the washer. If I don't get my money back on Monday, (that's the day I was told to come back) then I will be going to small claims court against them to get my $450.00 back because unlike them I work hard to make honest money. I will also tell my 1000+ coworkers not to buy from them. Very dissatisfied, should have went to Lowe's.

Waited 12 days for install of 6 appliances. Outside company called 10 minutes before arrival. The installer measured all areas, said my cabinet was too low above the refrigerator. I said, "No problem, I'll have it down in ten minutes while you install the washer/dryer in another room." The installer went back outside and called to his company and said he would not do the install for various reasons. There were no reasons he could not. Home Depot did not solve the problem, would not say they would reimburse my food loss and if I could afford, I'd move on to another company.

Home Depot would not schedule the next install until three days later. I had no kitchen, no laundry for four days, merely waiting for the new world service that we get from Average Joe businesses that have no one there who cares. If I had been in my hometown, the local Carruth Furniture Co. would have done the job with no issues. Poor poor world when these large companies care no more for their customers who just spent $6000 with them. I had three different order numbers that I could not list. Yuck Yuck Yuck.

I was told my appliances would be delivered 12/19/2016. Which was great because my oven stopped working and I am cooking Christmas dinner for my whole family on Christmas.

Friday before my scheduled delivery on Monday, the delivery agents left me a voicemail changing my delivery to 12/30/2016, after Christmas. I called an hour after they did, and said this wasn't acceptable. They said sorry the delivery date has been changed, it's too late. They changed the date because my microwave was back ordered. I explained my situation and asked to have the range, refrigerator and dishwasher be delivered on the 19th. They said they can't deliver partial orders. I said I would cancel the microwave order. Again they said sorry, it's too late to, delivery on Monday now!! I asked why they didn't call me before they changed the delivery date and they said it's not their policy. I called Home Depot's corporate office and they were not helpful either. I WILL NEVER BUY ITEMS FROM HOME DEPOT THAT REQUIRE DELIVERY!!! I will shop LOWE'S for other purchases too!!!

While unboxing the unit, it was discovered that there was some damage on top of the unit. I called the store and they said that we could get a replacement. However it would not arrive until 12/14/16. No big deal as we could still use the original one. I was told to have the original unit there early so it could go back on the same truck as the replacement arrives on. Again no big deal, I had it there early on 12/14. By the way I called the store to confirm the swap date of 12/14, yep still on.

Rather than wait for the new one to arrive, I dropped the original one off and left. About 5:30 pm that same evening, I called to check on the status of the replacement. I was then told that the original one was taken and the replacement would be in on Friday 12/16. WHAT!!! Now we have no stove period. Keep in mind I done this on their terms not mine and they failed us as customers. Also there is more to the story than this that took place before Thanksgiving regarding the same stove. I could receive delivery on Dec 3... They could not find where I talked to anyone.

After being put on hold asking for supervisor's managers I was told they received a call from me on Dec 3. But I had no other option but to accept the appliances on Dec 12. Neither Home Depot or Magic Chef are willing to stand behind this product, even though it's potentially a lemon. It broke down, the part has been on backorder for two months, which I believe has potentially further compromised the integrity of the appliance. Neither companies really care, so I can't concern myself with writing a big long review because my complaint sounds just like everyone else's here and no one ESPECIALLY HOME DEPOT is going to do anything about it. I asked to speak with a supervisor (Joslyn) who was not helpful at all - all she could do was discuss the warranty, rather than consider the fact that they may have sold me a lemon, not thinking outside the box on the part of Home Depot.

I've worked in Customer Service and I've dealt with people just like me, consumers on the other side who just want a FAIR deal, and what I can tell you is that as long as the company has no integrity, then neither do their products, therefore they won't stand behind them. This fall I purchased 4 major appliances: washer and dryer, stove and refrigerator. First I did not realize items are not in stock, but I had already made my selection when the salesperson said it would take about 5 days to get them. I went ahead anyway, paid for them, then she said soonest they could be delivered was 10 days, on a weekday, which didn't fit my schedule. I scheduled delivery for 2 weeks from my purchase, which was troublesome as I had no stove or refrigerator at all during that time.

Two weeks later the delivery people called, they actually showed up on time, but on arrival they only had the refrigerator! I had to call Home Depot and the delivery company. They said it would be another week. We scheduled, I waited around on Saturday, they actually showed up again on time with the stove and dryer. No washer! They had no idea where the washer was. More calls, more visits to local store, and another Saturday standing around waiting, they said the washer was on its way. Delivery hours came and went. Someone called from delivery company and said that the washer had been damaged. They said they would reorder and expedite.

It's been five weeks since my purchase at this point. Next weekend they call and ask me if I still want the washer? I said "no, not if you didn't reorder last weekend! I want my money back." Took me two more weeks, or two months from original purchase, to get my money back. Many hours on phone and in store to get it done, too. Same day I cancelled Home Depot order I ordered the same washer online from BestBuy, paid less for it, and had it delivered in three days!!

The other assistant was busy - so I waited and waited and waited. Finally I went to the front of the store and requested some assistance. I waited and waited.

Finally a staff person comes around and takes me directly to the employee who is still sitting at her computer and on the phone - makes me wonder how one could possibly be tied up on the phone for 2 hours! The staff member who brought me back to the yacking telephone person, interrupted her conversation; in reply to my question - she rudely responded by saying that they did not have any upright freezers on the floor and carried on with her phone conversation. She certainly did not know her department very well, as there most certainly were freezers on the floor! I got the impression that perhaps she was stuck in the chair, since she made absolutely no effort to get up and off of her very important 2 hour phone call to assist a client. There was no attempt by the agent to resolve the issue or find the part. I was annoyed because the warehouse should have been aware of the issue before they scheduled delivery. I was beyond angry.

I was told to keep the #4 on the dial so the freezer would start getting cold. 10 hours later still warm. I called Home Depot and they offered a new one but not for 1 week, not promised the next day like they said. Next day, I called and the manager was so rude, hung up on me 3 times and so did the appliance guy. Fed up I called corporate. As I was speaking to the guy at corporate the manager from Home Depot called on my home phone. I put her on speaker so corporate could hear her. I said hello and the manager said “We cancelled your order. We credited your account you can no longer shop with us and we cancelled your card.” and she hung up. I was like what the heck just happened. Corporate heard it all.

I was shocked at the behavior of this woman who is a manager. It is in corporate's hands now. I did get it refunded and I got to keep the freezer. My card cannot be cancelled. They only cancel it if you don't pay a bill or non-activity. She could of handled it better but she let her title get the best of her. After a few minutes corporate can back on the phone and said the manager was in tears and hysterical. I was thinking 5 minutes ago she was out of control and now crying. Why because she got caught talking to a customer like she did? I won't shop with Home Depot again. Lowe’s is my new go to home improvement store.

We bought a GE gud27essjww stackable washer dryer from home depot for our condo where my husband stays for the work week for $1297.57. We had the appliance professionally installed as arranged by Home Depot and were required to buy a power cord, dryer vent, pay haul away, installation, and paid for a stainless washer hose. After 2 months of use by 1 person, my husband, the washer leaked after each use causing water damage to the neighbors below us which we are responsible for and water damage to our dining room next door. I called the manager at Home Depot who said they have a 48 hr warranty and that GE is responsible.

GE has a 1 year warranty on parts but there are still expenses to pay and require service visits. We are not spending any more money on a brand new washer/dryer that is 2 months old. I filed a complaint with the Virginia Attorney Generals Office and was contacted by Ms. ** in The Home Depot Store Support Center Customer Service, The Home Depot Executive Escalations Team in Atlanta, GA Resolution Expeditor, 2455 Paces Ferry Road/B3, Atlanta, GA 30339, 770-433-8211. 1-800-654-0688 ext. **, Fax 678-556-7614. Ms. ** said that Home Depot could make 3 service calls for the same issue and after that, they would discuss other options. I told her that I shouldn't have to have multiple service calls for the same issue and then Home Depot would discuss other options. I want a full refund for a washer/dryer that was 2 months old when it started leaking, period.

On the above e-mail I received from Ms. ** it says that customers are first. It should say that Home Depot is first and that we will rip off our customers for all we can get out of them and too bad, we have your $1297.57 in exchange for a piece of junk, that you will have to pay to have hauled away and replaced. Remember, your soul lives forever and God can be a vengeful wrathful god who will exact revenge and eternal punishment on mean evil people. You are held more accountable when you make decisions that affect others. I also think that it is meaningful that I was not able to write a google review for Home Depot. After typing a search for Home Depot reviews, there is no place to write a review for Home Depot. After typing a search for Home Depot Google, nothing came up to write a review on google. Home Depot, why are you not allowing people to write reviews on google?

All need to know that: Home Depot "reserve the right to limit/deny returns." We Purchased a washing machine and Dryer from Home depot. The washer ruined our Pillows. We did use the recommended "bedding" large item option. In an attempt to return it we are now not able to get in touch with the Home Depot representative we were working with, i.e. a representative for the District manager. Below are the details and history of progress:

Washer delivered on Sept 16th - Maytag Maxima. Washer does not perform to our satisfaction: Water level does not get top of laundry wet leading to moving mechanism on bottom of tub rubbing stationary objects being washed; Ruined two pillows. (Rubbed through fabric.) Contacted Home Depot at (518)-843-1275 on Sept 18 & 19: (1st call within 48 hrs of item delivery.) Requested exchange for different Make or model. We were told that they could not return washing machines after use due to State HAZMAT laws. I told them I have some knowledge and involvement of hazardous waste at my work and know that to be not accurate. We were then told that we had to have service rep come to home to inspect item for damage. Service rep saw the item on Tues Sept 20. Rep Listed item as not damaged. In conversation Rep stated that he thought they should have no issue accepting the return. Even suggested we contact district manager if store level did not agree to honor a return for exchange.

Contacted Home Depot Customer care Dist Manager at 800-553-3199 on Sept 21, 22 & 23. Kimberly ** at 800-645-0688 ext ** Left massage, twice.

Kimberly's recorded message gave secondary contact as: Donna at ext **. I was able to reach Donna. Was initially told same as local store that, "They could not return washing machines after use due to State HAZMAT laws." I repeated what I'd told local store, that I have some knowledge and involvement of hazardous waste at my work and know that to be not accurate. I was then told that the district manager would be consulted and they'd get back with me by Friday Sept 23. Friday Sept 23 at 4pm I called back again because I'd not been contacted via email or phone. I was told the Dist manager worked till 8pm and that he'd make a decision before then.

At 7:45 on Sept 23 I had not been contacted so I called again. I was told the Dist manager went home without making a decision and that I'd have to wait till Monday. Later conversation it was disclosed to me that "even the level of person I was talking to did not have ability to talk directly to district manager, and that they only communicate via email or phone."

To date, Sept 28 I've not yet received any further communication from Home Depot much less any decision as to if I could return the item or not. Today alone, Sept 28th I've called 800-645-0688 four times, 11:22am, 1:49pm, 2:16pm and 3:56pm. I get a busy signal every time. (My hunch is I be on some type of call blocking. I will use my wife's phone after work to confirm this hunch.) I have also used Email, "Reply" function in an attempt to continue the communications but have not received an updated reply. I finally got an email answer today, Sept 30; Exchange/Return denied. No reason given. In the fine print Home Depot contract states they "reserve the right to limit/deny returns."

We ordered new appliances for our home from Home Depot with a home delivery scheduled for 09/26/2016. I was told I would receive a call on Sunday, 09/25 with a delivery window. So Sunday, we removed all the appliance to be ready for delivery. Received no call but was able to call them on Monday morning and confirmed we were on the delivery for that day. Appliances arrived and all were moved in but the dishwasher was damaged. Home Depot was firm in telling us if the appliance was damaged do not accept delivery. We refused the dishwasher, the delivery folks said no worry we would hear from someone within 24 hours to schedule delivery of the replacement machine.

By Thursday, 09/29, we had still not heard anything so we phoned the number and after being placed on hold for a long time I was patched through to someone at Samsung. This person was able to see that my machine was refused and it was back at their facility however it had not been scanned back into their system, they have a replacement machine ready for me but cannot confirm a delivery until the returned machine is scanned in on their side. I asked when this might happened and was told they could not commit to a day or time when the machine would be scanned and they would be able to deliver a working machine. Samsung representative continued to say they had a sizable back up and they could not and would not commit to a new delivery date.

We then went to Home Depot and they make calls to get the same response. I ask to cancel the sale of the dishwasher and sell me a new one that they could delivery on Tuesday 10/04. When we agreed with this, they then said they could not cancel the earlier sale because it is tied up in the return process, but they would call by noon to advise how we would fix this. It's 3:30 now and now call. I will never buy from Home Depot or Samsung again. Fortunately, I can hold up payment as I've not paid my credit card bill yet.

When I contacted Home Depot how I can avoid the charge, I was told I have to pay it! Here is their answer: "Thanks for contacting The Home Depot. I am sure the delivery charge was a surprise when you were trying to purchase a dishwasher and 5-year protection plan. We did not use to charge for it, but there was still a charge for the delivery to us. That is why we set the minimum purchase at $396. Since our stores only have display models, we usually do not have the stock on hand for purchasing. That is why orders delivered to the store still have to have a shipping charge." On 9/10 of this year, I ordered a new fridge, microwave, and stove. It was set to be delivered on 9/17. The night of 9/10, I realize that the hole that my new fridge would go in is 1/8" too small to fit. My fault, I know, so I had my order cancelled the very next day and reordered matching appliances that would fit. Everything went through and the charges were changed correctly. THIS is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of one. Now for the bad news.

The delivery date did not change for the new appliances (lucky me). The day before, I became nervous about everything going according to plan. With new kittens and repeated measurements of everything and reviewing of all the documents, all seemed well aside from a note about me being REQUIRED to purchase a new water line for it to be installed. I was told I could reuse the old one...but the next lady I talked to, who seemed more of an expert, assured me that all lines and plugs for new appliances must be new. I was lucky enough to catch this mistake in time to have the line added to the order, and it could be brought in the next day.

It's 9/17, and the delivery men arrive a little before 8 am as they promised the night before. I've already yanked and ripped up my old water line, knowing a new one had to be installed, and I'd need to take one end into the crawlspace myself. All goes well at first as they haul my old fridge and oven out to my garage. Then they start to bring a monster of a fridge into the house. It BARELY fits in my large front door. This seemed odd to me, so I asked if it was the 33.5 inch fridge. He said it was 36 inches. They were bringing me the 3 appliances I had cancelled 7 days earlier! They also had the correct appliances sitting at the warehouse. So they DID know about the change. RAS delivery screwed up big time, and I had to reschedule to a day where I have to work at a new job, which means I do not have sick days or vacation days right now.

After talking to a complete zombie at RAS delivery, I called the store manager at The Home Depot to get a better response regarding my need for an evening delivery time. He assured me that I would be called later after he calls them and sorts out the problem. I was shocked that he admitted that it was Home Depot's fault, given that it was the third-party THEY chose to use. Thumbs up to this guy. Until he never called me back with what I now know is bad news. I just received the call about 2 hours ago. They will be arriving with my new appliances between 7:30 and 9:30 am tomorrow, and this time cannot be changed. So I have to put my job on the line, hoping my boss means it when he says he doesn't mind if I come in late, missing an important meeting.

Here's some other things I forgot to mention. My old oven's door is now broken after having to pull it out and disconnect it for them, I apparently never needed to get a new water line at all, and after the delivery men left after bringing my old units back in, my kittens found a mouse to play with after it scurried out of my old oven's bottom! Now I might have to deal with a mouse problem in my house instead of just my detached garage. The corporate desire for efficiency is outweighing the need to make things right, and The Home Depot should have been able to do more to make this inconvenience more convenient for me. Instead, they did nothing. Not sure if I want to do my cabinetry, reflooring, and deck remodelling with them at this point.

I bought my GE appliances from Home Depot. Little did I know HD does not deliver. Delivery was arranged by GE to a sub contractor called XLO. Their phone was disconnected and window for delivery was between 10 and 12, on Sept 12. At 2:30 no word no delivery. Went to store they had a number for delivery. They said they were behind and probably no delivery until Wed. I told HD that wasn't an option I needed the appliances that day. After chasing them around town and several lies on the phone from XLO to Home Depot and myself they showed up at 5:30. Totally unqualified and without the proper equipment. A 29.00 dolly and straps that went over their shoulders to do the job. I helped them carry the stove in but they said they couldn't put the fridge in the kitchen because they had a similar delivery that went bad removing old fridge and delivering new.

They gouged her wall and scratched her floor. They said the repairs were going to cost them out of their pockets and didn't want to do mine. So they put the fridge in the garage. The next day I spoke to the manager at HD and they arranged to bring in three people. Along with me we got it in the kitchen. I made several calls the manager or owner at XLO whose name is Rick ** and he refuses to return my calls. It's sad that Home Depot has no problem selling you appliances but after that it's all GE or the sub contracted delivery service. Lost a day of work an a whole day running around to find the delivery service. This really makes GE and Home Depot look bad. Had I known that HD doesn't deliver their stuff I would have shopped elsewhere. Next time I will.

Now it takes 3 completed cycles to get my towels dry. The lint line under my house must be stuffed. I'll pay to clean it out but it looks like will need to be done yearly.

I would recommend no stars for these dirt bags if this was possible. I purchased a GE 30" Electric stove on 28 July 2016 for a friend who needed one. She kept the stove at her place and the unit was never used as she was waiting for an electrician to install 220 volt power to make it functional. It had taken HD about 10 days to deliver this unit to her. It arrived at her place on 6 August 2016.

She decided after about 3 weeks that she did not want it. I tried to return the unit to the local Macon, Georgia, store of origin and showed it had never been used or even plugged in. They advised me of the 48 hour return policy on such items. I was not allowed a credit. I even proposed my willingness to pay a 15%-25% restocking fee or whatever. I was refused this as well. This was unreasonable as the unit would have immediately sold with the restock fee generating extra gross profit to their markup. What a lack of business acumen on their part. I will never, ever deal with this company again. Judging from the other negative reviews on this site, I am not the only one dissatisfied with the experience.

Several hours later I opened it, it was cool inside and I filled it a quarter full with some unfrozen products and some frozen products. The next day I opened the freezer and only the products on the very bottom were frozen. And the frozen products I put in were defrosted. I turned the Freezer up and placed two bags of ice in it. The next day I opened the freezer again and only the products on the bottom were frozen, everything else was defrosted.

I went to the store and told them the freezer was DOA and that I wanted a replacement. A manager said he would leave a note for the associate in charge of returns and that he would personally follow up to make sure I was contacted the next morning. I waited until late afternoon the next day and no call, so I called the store. I was told the associate who was supposed to call was not in and promised to call back. The next day an associate called and left a message for me to call the GE warranty service. They delivered a broken product to me, one that never worked, and are not going to take it back and replace it with one that works. Now I have to work through GE to see if they can fix it. Instructions said they would call 1/2 an hour before arrival. 3:30 comes and I still have no call. I have been here all day.

I called the delivery service # starts groaning and says the delivery guys noted several attempts to reach me with no contact. I confirm the phone # on the account, it is correct. I never received a call. I state it is still within my delivery window and ask can they still come out. He tells me he can't help with deliveries; I need to call the Pikes Peak & Academy Store. (This is the delivery # 1-877-946-9843: not sure how they "don't do deliveries.") He can't transfer the call so he gives me the main number to the store. After several transfers in the store (because deliveries isn't open on Saturdays...), I get Alex in appliances. He states the delivery guys are not within their control and they said they called.

I repeat my spiel that I have been home all day and no one has called. He made me feel like I was lying. I ask for a manager and he states he is the manager. He goes on to tell me I already rescheduled the appointment. I have not. I waited nearly four weeks for this Saturday appointment because of work conflicts and now I am told they are coming next Friday, 9/2. Can't happen. He said he will try to get an earlier appointment, but he can't tell until Monday and even then it will be a weekday. I wasted a Saturday and thousands of dollars for this horrific service. We bought a house with a dishwasher. The silverware basket was a 2-part with 1 part missing. Home Depot gave me the card for Appliance Repair since they don't carry most parts. Online I found what looked like what I wanted. Little did I realize an overhead view was available and clearly was not what I wanted. It looked nothing like the part I already had. However, the part came a week later than promised, and was square, about 9" on a side instead of 9" X 4" that I needed. I called to ask about the correct part since returns are accepted up to a year. She took my model number and said she found the part recommended. The part I ordered had been $14.36 with $6.25 for shipping. The part she insisted I needed was $52. I would have to pay to ship my part back, then pay for the new part.

In looking at the part on-line with her, I saw that it was several inches too long to fit, but she kept saying her computer says it was right. The invoice that came in the box with the wrong part says I was charged $20.61, but my credit card statement says they charged me $22.49. She said they would only refund me the $20.61. So, if I ship the wrong part back at my cost of $10, lose the nearly $2 in the discrepancy, then order $1 worth of plastic for $50 that is recommended but clearly doesn't fit my dishwasher, why am I talking to her? I told her "I would keep it, plant something in it and remember, every time I look at it, that I can't trust online shopping." Certainly I won't trust Home Depot's recommendations or Appliance Repair.

I am writing to you to let you know about the folly that happened between and Home Depot at the Elmont NY store #1208 that actually started late August of 2015. I ordered a refrigerator for a friend of mine to be delivered to Douglaston, NY in late August 2015. The size of the first refrigerator was accurate. However, when it was to be delivered the men went into the residence, measured and stated it would not fit saying it was, “Too large to go through the door.” The refrigerator was requested for a second delivery. They stated at this time it would not fit because the overhead cabinets were too low and should be removed. My friend paid someone to remove the cabinets.

After looking for a sale a few months later we reordered the refrigerator a third time. Can you imagine? The same thing took place. “Won’t fit through door.” Reason this time is because of the bump in the back of the appliance from the water dispenser. The fourth attempt failed because the refrigerator would not fit through the outside main door or up the steps because of the banister. At this point my friend was very upset; no one at Home Delivery helped in the matter. Mind you that each time the delivery was to take place, my friend had to empty out everything in her old refrigerator to enable it to be taken from her home and the new one brought in its place.

My friend did call her maintenance department. Maintenance stated they have at least 800 apartments and most have larger refrigerators than hers, how did her old one get there in the first place? She decided to contact the main Home Depot office, down south. The young man that answered promised a representative would contact her. Shortly later, a woman named Canis phoned. She scheduled another delivery appointment for her. She promised to explain the situation to the delivery service. Please note, my friend was getting very upset and due medical problems had to go into the hospital for surgery. So the next time my friend looked for a sale it was for what is known as a counter depth refrigerator. They were too expensive, but During July 4th holiday sales, she was able to order the LG counter depth French door refrigerator.

Fifth time, they said the counter depth would not fit through the front door. She showed them (on her computer copy of the order) that with the door removed from the refrigerator, they had about 3” extra inches. They delivery men went into their truck and left. Sixth time, they stated because the driver had to go to the hospital they could not deliver. After speaking with Canis again, she set up another appointment three days later. Seventh and last attempt, they stated the washer and dryer need to be taken out of the kitchen to enable delivery.

This should have come to her attention the first time they attempted to deliver the very first refrigerator; at no time did someone go upstairs to assess the situation and tell my friend exactly what she needed to do to get any refrigerator in her apartment. It was always one thing or another, not the whole problem. Now may I ask, why did it take seven deliveries to come to this realization? I would like to add that during these seven deliveries, the new refrigerator was never removed from the truck. Maybe, and I say maybe because who is really to say, they wouldn’t have found another excuse not to deliver it again.

American Deliveries Company does not have good help and they are representing Home Depot. At this time, of course as you can understand, I would never again order anything from Home Depot. The reason I wanted to buy from Home Depot is because I could charge this gift for my friend on my Home Depot Credit Card, who couldn’t afford it herself, as I did the washer and the dryer. Now, I am waiting for the refund since I have been paying for this refrigerator that never got there! Perhaps it has happened to other customers and no one else has come forward to complain to you, as I am doing now. It is sad to see that a good thing I was doing for a friend became a horror story for her and an embarrassment to me, all because of lazy workers who just won’t go up and down a flight of stairs and maneuver an appliance that they are assigned to deliver.

We did and when the unit would not get colder than 49 degrees we called Home Depot customer service to be told they need to be notified in the first 48 hours. They had no answer when asked why we had been told to wait 72 hours before contacting them. Interesting that they tell you to wait 24-72 but only take it back or exchange in 48 hours. We consented to having a tech come to the house being told by Home Depot this had to be done first; the Frigidaire repair tech tells us the refrigerator needs a major overhaul.

On calling Home Depot back they refuse to exchange or take it back and on contacting Frigidaire they refuse to exchange; we are then told by Frigidaire they won't have parts for better than 4 weeks. Keep in mind this refrigerator is a week and a half old now; we are expected to sit with a non-working refrigerator for 6 weeks and be happy it needs an overhaul right out of the box. Home Depot policy between store purchases and online purchases at best seems a bit deceptive and I certainly will not make another online purchase from Home Depot; after being treated this way I may never purchase from Home Depot.

The range was installed, but they failed to secure it on the anti tip bracket. I was then told the dishwasher door was damaged but they would install it and I could contact samsung to replace the damaged door. I refused delivery of the dishwasher. They also did not install the microwave due to a striped screw and left the microwave sitting in the middle of my kitchen floor & told me a tech team would contact me about removing the screw & installing the microwave.

I have had frequent contact with home depot & they have been really polite, but can't seem to resolve any of the issues with my delivery & installation. The professional installation advertised by them does not exist.

Warning!! Do not deal with Home Depot or buy an LG product. It is detrimental to your pocketbook. To wit: Purchased washer dryer from this dysfunctional, bullying company about 8 months ago. Problem with one machine from go. After a lot of work got LG to come out. Came back 2 or 3 times and sort of fixed machine. Machine having trouble again so called HD to honor my warranty which is expensive. No problem, HD made appointment for 3 or 4 days down the road. That's good, right? Small problem, their contractor just never showed up. Wasted a lot of my time as they have a 24-hour window, which is illegal in many states. They take no responsibility for anything but are very efficient at taking your money while returning nothing but surl. I am demanding ALL my money back. I have just filed a suit against these horrible companies. Avoid them unless you want to end up in court.

I purchased a gas range from Home Depot for about $1725 and delivery was scheduled a week from purchase date. On the day of delivery, they were not able to install it citing that my gas connection was defective. They turned the gas off and forgot to turn it back on. I called Home Depot and was told that it would cost me for their Specialist to come out. I then called the Gas company and they scheduled the install for a week later. Since my gas valve had been turned off and I could not move the stove, I was without a stove for a week.

The Gas company came and installed the stove without any problems and they were very professional but it also cost me wiping out the 10% I had saved by buying from Home Depot. So two weeks later I finally got the stove installed but I was now outside their '48 hours' testing window. Fortunately the stove worked well. What bothered me the most was that when I stopped by the store, the person who had sold me the stove disappeared from their desk. I currently looking for a Refrigerator and guess what, I will not be buying it from Home Depot.

We ordered LG Washers and Dryers from the Home Depot. Upon delivery, I was monitoring the work of the delivery crew. I noticed that they had damaged the front of the washing machine because they didn't use moving blankets and the strap on the dolly dented both corners of the front housing. Here is where this gets fun... I had already sold off my old washer and dryer. The Home Depot refused to leave the dented washer until the new one arrived.

A week later I still have not heard anything about a potential delivery date. I tried to cancel the order to get machines from another vendor but the Home Depot refused to pick the machines up and said I would have to coordinate with the local store and that I would not get a refund until both machines were back in their possession. Follow this now... so I would have to set up two separate pick up times (one for the washer + one for the dryer). Of course there are no specific pick up times but rather just massive windows. So, I am left without a washer and basically blocked from getting new machines from another vendor unless I chose to forfeit three additional days of work (1 for the dryer pick-up, 1 for the washer pick-up, and one for another company to deliver).

The upside (there isn't any). The Home Depot has said that they will issue "compensation" in the form of a gift card. They won't tell you when or the amount. Their reasoning... if something is wrong with the replacement appliance they will only compensate you once. Bottom line... they want to keep their hooks in their customers to prevent them from jumping out of the order due to an oppressive lack of ability to help their customers in such situations. I bet I get a $25 gift card for a week without the appliance that I have already paid for.

Essentially... never order an appliance from Home Depot online. They have no ability to offer any reasonable solution if something is wrong with the order. The really bad news, and I confirmed this with the Home Depot, is that if the new machine shows up damaged I am in another 7-10 day waiting period. Customer service just told me that I would be getting the machine this coming Friday but I had to call them. They never called me on August 1st with an update as they promised.

We completed the purchase on June 28th and have delivery and install on July 30th. On July 29th I was worried that I did not receive any calls to let me the time of delivery to the home. I discovered that Samsung has delayed my delivery from July 30 to Aug 23rd. They made this schedule change without even giving us any notification. If I did not call on the 29th I would never known that my schedule was pushed back by more than three weeks.

We are incurring cost of keeping an empty house that we can't put in the market, we have to pay insurance, taxes, and utilities. Because this delay. We were never given notifications, or options to get partial delivery and opportunity to shop around for other vendors products that we maybe able to get delivered early. This delay is costing us thousands of dollars. Samsung can get away with this because it costs them nothing. I recommend for anyone to never trust that company.

We bought a Maytag Bravos Xl and it came last Saturday. After an over an hour wash the clothes came out so wrinkled I could not just hang the shirts up today as usual. My black pants came out with large white streaks. I did the bedding function for a blanket and used max extraction... thank god we have an extra washer became the blanket was soaked and I had to transfer it to the other old washer to get the water out.

SO after 4 days we went back to tell them we did not want it. Their response was "you had to refuse delivery" (maybe I should have told the guys "sit down and let me do a few loads to see how I like it")... the one girl told us 2 weeks to return and the person we encountered when we went back said that girl would NEVER say that. It's 48 hours... (HINT record any conversations you have there) so end result was they had to send a repairman out (for the cost of $109.00) and even then they would exchange it for the same one if the repair person said it was damaged the thing is a week old... I said "I do not WANT that one" and their stance was "you bought it, you got it." RUN don't walk to Lowe's -- I found out too late they will exchange, or let you return a major appliance for 30 days. My saga is only beginning...

I looked up reviews on the people they are sending and it looks like there will be another battle. They sent a voice mail that started out "EXCUSE ME... but your appliance is out of warranty (7 days old tomorrow) so you will be charged." Another "EXCUSE ME and the charge will be $109.00." We kept the voice mail in case we need it down the road to review that place.

We are calling American Express tomorrow to see if they can help... The people at Home Depot could care less about your problem... they made a sale and that is all that is important to them. When we go back to continue the fight anyone I see near an appliance I will go tell them to go to Lowe's and be safe. Home Depot is horrible and I plan to take this up the ladder and even to the 7 on your side tv show or the local papers Bamboozled column that helps with horrible customer experiences that cannot be resolved thru the company.

The second time, their delivery driver delivered the fridge to an address down the street and refused to drive the fridge to the right address. When I insisted that the fridge go to the right address, the driver threw the fridge back into the truck and drove off with it. He was extremely belligerent and agitated the whole time. I think that he must have been high on some kind of drug.

I complained to the manager Jeremy, who said that I was "rude" and got "physical " with the driver. That never happened. Jeremy refused to listen to me or my boyfriend who witnessed the whole thing. I complained online to HomeDepot.com customers service and it took 3 weeks to even get a reply. I called and talked to a lady that told me that I had to wait for VC Appliance to return the fridge to the manufacture to get my refund. That took so long that I had to get my bank involved. Needless to say, I will never buy anything from HomeDepot.com again nor will I ever deal with any of their delivery companies again. Don't use VC Appliance. What a nightmare!

I called them the day before to make sure everything was fine and on schedule even though I didn't have a window time frame yet for delivery. "Oh yes, everything was fine" I was told. Stove was never delivered. Nobody followed up. I have to call Home Depot customer care, fight to talk with Lead supervisors, all of them promised me things that I learned later were not true.

They blamed it on GE Delivery; "they lost the item and they have to do a dock search", was the best I got that day. Still on the phone with Home Depot customer care, I was finally given delivery company's phone #. Talked to a supervisor yesterday and she told me the new delivery date of Wednesday is impossible because the item has not been shipped yet from manufacturer! They want someone again and this person they want out was the most dirtiest nastiest person there is. He darted repeatedly in my house, was poking his nose grabbing my stuff and was just very rude. I asked him to leave. I called Home Depot and I told them what happened and they sent someone else out. When this other company came out they were just about the same as nasty. The guy was literally sitting inside of my refrigerator with his nasty dirty shoes on. I sucked it up and just let him try to fix it because that's all I wanted was for it to be fixed.

So they fixed it and it cooled for a week then same thing happened. I called Sears again and they sent out Sears to try to fix it and they did for another week and now here we are again. Same thing happened. I was told after the third fix I would get a new one but now that are saying that the last company has a 30 day policy. So it's June 30th today and I guess I have to wait another 2 months before something happens. Home Depot is the worse. Please don't buy anything from them.

We went into Home Depot to buy a dishwasher. The sales lady was very nice and very helpful. We picked a date to have the dishwasher installed that was convenient for us. We were told we would receive a call to confirm, and a time frame the dishwasher would be installed. We received a recording telling us it would be installed on Wednesday between 4:00 and 8:30, and they would call half an hour before arriving. I left work early to make sure I was home to receive the call. I waited and waited, and finally went to bed around 10:00. We never received a call, and we never received a call in the morning to reschedule. I called the delivery service number and was told the installers called me at 10:00 to let me know they were behind schedule. I told the delivery service I did not have a missed call. She was nice, but told me the only available date was in (1) week.

I told them I was not happy, and it was unacceptable since THEY messed up the delivery. I then called the Home Depot and asked to talk to the appliance department. The person in the appliance dept said there was nothing he could do. I then asked to speak to the department manager. The manager's name is Eric. Eric said he would call the delivery service, and try to work something out. I waited around for Eric to call back. I never received a call back from Eric. I decided to call back the delivery service and accept the June 1st date. Instead, I was told a deliver was scheduled for Friday. Apparently Eric set up a delivery without confirming it with me. It just so happened I was off on Friday, but I was not happy that I had to wait around for a delivery. I had made plans, and had to cancel the plans so that I could be there. The dishwasher finally came, but when the installer took the dishwasher out of the box, he noticed it was damaged.

I called Home Depot back hoping to get them to deliver another dishwasher that day. I called the extension on the card I was given when we bought the dishwasher. When the appliance department picked up, the woman told me I had to call the operator. I called the operator, and he tried to connect me back to the appliance department. I told the operator that appliance department told me to call operator. He was confused, I was confused. He put me on hold which seemed like forever. After he apologized for my long wait, I finally asked to talk to Eric again. The operator put me back on hold, and then told me he was sorry for the wait, and that Eric was probably at lunch. The operator said he would have Eric call me back. Eric never called. That was it!!! I was done waiting!!! I did not want to deal with the mess anymore. I told my husband to please take care of it. My husband called back and cancelled with the operator.

We received an envelope on June 2 from Home Depot which was same day Lowe's installed our new dishwasher. I was expecting an apology and maybe a gift card for our horrible inconvenience, but instead all we got back was a receipt showing the credit. I am very disappointed in Home Depot. I thought Home Depot valued their customers. I am afraid to EVER buy another appliance, or any other item which requires installation.

We bought our appliances from home depot November 25th last year. It was for a washer, dryer, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and gas range. The delivery was supposed to be done on December 14th 2015. Well on the appointed day I get a call saying that there was some problem with the delivery truck and they will deliver on the 19th. Well on 19th the truck came and out of the six appliances only two were not broken (the dishwasher and washer). I had them install the washer and they just put in the dishwasher as they did not bring some valve needed for it. The rest of the delivery was supposed to come on the 22nd. When I called them to confirm the date they said that no one put in the order so the delivery will be on the 29th of December.

We had moved into a new house and all the appliances were for that house. Well I tried to tell them that the delivery has to be earlier or on the 25th as that's the day we are moving in the house. Any late and we will have to pay for two houses. But they did not do it but said they can provide a temporary gas range on the 25th. Well Imagine my surprise when on the 25th I call them and said that someone hired their truck so we will have to wait on the borrowed gas range. By this time I had started hauling my kids 1 and 4 out for breakfast, lunch and dinner as we had nothing we could cook or even warm food on.

Finally after numerous calls and visits into the store I was forced to cancel the order. I went to the store and talked to their main manager. His name was if I remember correctly the letter **. I told him explicitly that I am cancelling the order all of it because by then they had started saying that the order would come by January 19th as some of the items were out of stock. I went and bought the stuff from best buy and they promptly delivered it the next day. So then I called Home depot to ask how the cancellation is going on and they said that I never cancelled. So I asked them to cancel it again. Since then it has been 7 months and they have returned the money for the gas range and dryer but have not returned it for the refrigerator and microwave.

In my last call, they are now mentioning that the items have been delivered by the delivering company and I told them that's a complete lie. The lady in the store ** She is also a manager said she is aware this did not happen but the only thing they can do is escalate the matter. I still have about $2000 to be returned - $248 for microwave (ref R04), Plastic water ice line (ref S0101) and the refrigerator (ref S0301). This has turned into a very harassing experience and on top of that it feels like they are stealing our money and almost getting away with it. Please if you can do something about it would be a very welcome relief. The store address is "Home Depot USA Inc, Store 6636 Fremont, 43900 Ice House Ter, Fremont, CA 94538". And their phone number is 5104900191.

I purchased everything for a recent bathroom remodel from HD and had great success. Shipping was fast, everything arrived in perfect shape, lots of selection. So when our old dryer recently quit working, we decided to go ahead and buy a new washer and dryer. Home Depot had exactly what I wanted and they were on sale! I placed the order online because I know my local HD and the appliance people sadly know very little and are not very helpful (I honestly would have preferred to get my appliances from HH Gregg, but they didn't offer the models I wanted). I ordered online and it seemed as if the process was made to be foolproof - it told me all the items that I HAD to order with my washer and dryer for installation. One of the items was on backorder, so I had to wait close to 2 weeks for delivery.

When delivery day arrived, the delivery team came in the home and saw that we not only wanted a stacked unit, we HAD to have a stacked unit due to space. They informed me that I hadn't ordered a stacking kit. HD's website, the one that suggested all the items that I needed for my purchase, did not tell me that I needed a stacking kit. I had to send the items back with the install team. I called HD right away and they ordered me a stacking kit. I had to wait another 5 days for my items to be delivered.

The next attempt at delivery came and that delivery team told me that they would not hook up the washer and dryer due to corroded shutoff valves. I heard the main delivery guy on the phone with his boss who was urging him to do whatever he could to complete the install. It was clear that the guy didn't want to do it (and now makes sense why they arrived early for the delivery window). I asked them to leave everything and I would have my contractor friend fix and install everything. It turns out, all that needed to be done was the main water valve shut off. The shutoff valves were fine. It took maybe a half hour to get them installed. Meanwhile, the delivery team refused to haul away the old washer and dryer because they couldn't risk unhooking the washer from the shutoff valve.

So now they are scheduled to come back later this week to pick those items up... Of course, they want me to haul them outside for pickup (that stuff is heavy and I'm a small female... What am I paying them for?) And now I have to go to my local Home Depot and ask them to fill out a M930 form to refund me for the installation that the delivery team did not do. One other thing - all those items that Home Depot said I HAD to buy for install. Most were not needed. Many of the items even came with the LG washer and dryer. So I have to go to the trouble of returning everything. HD is not the place to purchase appliances.

I bought a new dishwasher almost a month ago and now it is just sitting there not working at all. The first delivery they brought a broken one, terribly damaged. It was like someone hammered it. Ok they took it back and sent the second delivery a week later. This time the guys just dropped it off and I had to beg them to stay to install it. Then they said they could, but I need to pay for it UNTIL I showed them the receipt.

If you think it is ridiculous enough. Those guys were not installers, and they literally told me that. But they installed it. I was catching a flight. They said it was installed but no water coming in, and then open the dishwasher and poured some water into it using a bowl to make it run... I should've not signed it on that day I think. But I was catching a flight and in a hurry, so didn't think much.

So when I came back and called Home Depot to correct the installation. They kicked the ball to Whirlpool and let me make an appointment with their warranty. Guess what, the warranty guy came and said 'dishwasher was fine, go get a plumber, see ya.' Had to go back to Home Depot again, they promised to address it, as they always said. Then I got another call this morning from a plumbing company to schedule an appointment to fix my installation. I hoped it was the last time. Then at the end the girl said, "There will be a trip fee of 100 dollars and plus this and that". I couldn't even listen to the end and just had to hang up before I said **, which was very uncharacteristic for me.

So literally I spent so much money and bought myself a one-month long nightmare, and it is still not over yet. I have talked with store appliance, store managers, customer care, and a bunch of small companies. I don't know their relationship with Home Depot. But I do feel NOBODY CARES AT ALL. The customer care gave me a case number and several people gave me their extension number. Their customer service never answers the phone. I left voice message and asked in the email for call back but nobody does. I think they don't want to deal with me and just want someone else to do it. As if I want to be part of this long haul....All I want is a dishwasher working correctly which I paid a month ago. As I said, NOBODY CARES, don't believe in what they sayin' their commercials.

ABSOLUTELY UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES PURCHASE ANY APPLIANCE FROM HOME DEPOT! Warning!!! Home Depot attempted 3 deliveries of washer/dryer to my home. Not a complicated delivery, regular home. 2 times washer was defective, the 3rd time (3 weeks later because wait time) the deliver person refused to deliver upstairs. HOME DEPOT is HORRIBLE especially the Miami stores in customer service!

THEY DO NOT DELIVER THEMSELVES - They SUBCONTRACT with horrible cheap third party company to deliver (Such as GE or LG direct etc), and SERVICE is horrible. The delivery guy told me he will 100% crack my tile if he attempts to deliver it upstairs and that nothing he damaged would be covered under delivery insurance, and he left as I tried to call Home Depot. I tried to call the 800 number Home Depot gave, but the deliver guy from GE left before I can speak with manager. I know sound horrible right - but it's true, just read the other 500 complaints below to see if similar issues with delivery. Also the appliance customer service in Home Depot are not knowledgeable about technical questions, they can only answer basic questions.

I went to BEST BUY, purchased same identical unit washer / dryer. Came brand new, clean, and BEST BUY has their own delivery company that was VERY PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, ON TIME. I was astonished!!! VERY SAD that a company whom I respected so many years, and I thought would be the best in home service delivery and customer service were the WORST! ONCE AGAIN, I rarely write reviews on yelp, and I'm definitely not a NEGATIVE person, just a normal citizen, normal standards. But take my advice, absolutely do not purchase any appliance from Home Depot!

They are unprofessional, and do not care about customer service in regards to home delivery. I lost 3 days of work on 4 separate weeks. Thankfully BEST BUY DID THE JOB right. Another note, it took over 1 week for Home Depot to refund my order, and you can only go to the store you purchased it in to guarantee a refund, which is not convenient. Also once again, rude customer service and 100% I'm satisfied with BEST BUY who had the same unit, same price, and cheaper extended warranty from Geek Squad.

HOPE THIS HELPS avoid another family from the frustration and 1 month of living without a washer dryer that we had to go through. ON a last note - I called Home Depot 1800 number. They were rude, had nothing to offer and were not concerned about the 3 attempted deliveries that failed. They just offered a refund and a $25 dollar gift card which I declined - I have morals and values, don't want a gift card just to keep me from complaining. ONCE AGAIN, I truly hope this helps. Thank You Guys!

I purchased all new appliances online thru Home Depot. They were delivered to my house. I purchased Frigidaire Gallery Series Refrigerator, Stove and dishwasher. These are upgraded appliances, not Frigidaire base appliances. I purchased them May 2015. Since then I have had a repairman at my house to fix the refrigerator 13 times, to fix the stove 2 times and fix the dishwasher 2 times. They have replaced both doors on the refrigerator and the gaskets among other things, including putting duct tape on a hole that shoots out cold air into the refrigerator because it was causing the vegetables in my vegetable bin to freeze. Apparently that is their idea of fixing.

I asked for a new refrigerator several times and they would not do that unless it was "unfixable". Most recently they replaced the freezer door on the refrigerator. I have had to leave work in excess of 13 times for these repairs on brand new appliances! Frigidaire refuses to do anymore and I feel Home Depot is responsible as they SOLD me the products and should stand behind what they sell and stand behind their customers. I asked Home Depot to make good on this since we have been so completely inconvenienced by this whole experience.

I asked them to give me a store credit or gift card to use for a future purchase in the amount of $200. They said no. They said they would do nothing further for us! I find this completely unacceptable, I have now closed my account with them which I have had since 2006. I will no longer purchase Frigidaire appliances and I will no longer purchase anything from Home Depot. To make matters worse, they have now sent me a bill to extend my warranty on these pieces of junk appliances. How ironic is that?!

I drove two hours to meet the Home Depot installer at my rental condo... As soon as they arrived they said they had 17 calls that day... The one that did not speak a word of english went underneath the sink and found a drip by the garbage disposal that we had the replacement sitting on the floor. We just wanted the dishwasher installed and we would replace the garbage disposal.

They said they could not do that until the drip was fixed... they were worried that they could be sued for damages to the cabinet... we told them we would sign anywhere they like that we release them from any damages. We also told them to take video and pictures of the condition of the cabinet for documentation. They did that. They still didn't want to install it. We asked to speak to their supervisor which she was not much help at all. We sent them away and got a better deal at Lowes with no hassle. I'm also an investor and this is the first time I have encountered this kind of problem. I will never go to Home Depot again. They need to pick better delivery people.

I call Home Depot call and they say, "24 hr problems get a new fridge." I say ok. Omg it gets so much worse from this point on. I ended up having to call around to Samsung, Home Depot, and the delivery agency took over 5 hrs on phone, and 4 tries to get me my fridge. I will never go to Home Depot for any large appliances again.

We bought a $1800 GE refrigerator off the floor for $1000. What is wrong with it I asked? Why is it on discount? Is it new? All my questions answered, "yes it new. A customer returned it because it didn't fit their kitchen." Ok, I sprung for it. Gorgeous and a great deal. But no delivery is available because it doesn't come from the warehouse. Bummer, I thought, but still worth the hassle.

We rent a truck from Home Depot. They help load it and when we get to the house, we realize, no ramp or lift on the truck rental. Wow. Have to return to Home Depot and it's close to closing time also Super Bowl Sunday. So their solution was to deliver it for us the next day but only to curb side. Now I have to hire movers last minute. It's a Monday. Everyone is back to work, including me... but I stay home because of this. 4 guys, $100 minimum. Ok, still thinking it's a deal. Delivered on curbside as promised. Movers remove doors and move inside. Was a beast, but they were professionals. Got it done. Plugged it in. Put food from old fridge in new one. Happy. Thinking... I still got a good deal.

Wake up the next morning... the fridge and freezer not working. Everything is warm. Everything was spoiled. GREAT!!! Call Home Depot. They tell me to call the warranty people. Thank GOD I bought that extra $150 item. Call Warranty people. They tell me it's less than 48 hours and to call Home Depot. Ping ponging back and forth. Final verdict, warranty kicks in, and GE repairman is scheduled. Days without a fridge now, because I had the crappy one removed (new house purchase for us, and old fridge from the 70's).

GE repair guy comes (more time off of work for this). This is the outcome: "this fridge is not new. This is an old appliance. See the dust? See this? See that? And it needs a new compressor. And I'll need to use a blowtorch in your kitchen. If I were you Miss, I would return this to Home Depot, get your money back, and go to Lowe's." For real, he said that. Verbatim. I said, "I would love to do that, but honestly... I have too much invested in this now... loss of over $300 in food that went bad, and $100 for movers... that's a $400 loss... and loss time at work, I can't do that. Too much loss in this now."

Call Home Depot and report all that GE repairman found and asked why they sold me a used appliance. No comments. Uh, and duh. Lots of those. They decide to come get it the next day. Send two skinny guys from the store. With no tools. They ignore me telling them "you have to take the door off and the drawer off and go out this door." Instead, they decide to leave the doors on and go out another way, 5 steps down to a doorway that is 5 inches smaller than the width, and guess what, it gets stuck. Do they call Home Depot for back up after standing around for 45 minutes? Nope. I do. I have to get the manager out of meeting. Send help I say. Help for dumb dumbs arrive.

End result... they get the fridge out all right... with extensive damage to my home... sheetrock damage, window sills cracked and chunks of wood gone, moldings dented, scratched, chunks of wood gone, antique door damaged, tiles damaged, you name it... in that area... they damaged it... Dumb and dumber Home Depot employees.

Right now... I have a small dorm refrigerator in my kitchen, $1000's in damage to my vintage 1850's historic home... $400 loss as explained above... $1000 cost of fridge + $150 for warranty--they have my money... and no refrigerator replaced yet. Do the math: -$1550, -$5000+ in damage to my home, - time off from work to deal with all this, -$300 in groceries. This is definitely a $10,000 small claims lawsuit. Split it in two cases... and I'll get my damages covered. I'm appalled... All because they sold me a used refrigerator that did not work!

Home Depot sells used appliances. Let that sink in. Home Depot sells USED appliances. I saw the dust, the GE warranty guy saw the dust and usage evidence... Home Depot sells used and broken appliances. Did you know that??? Never did I ever expect on sale item that it would be used... and broken. Unreal. Unethical. Home Depot has lost its marbles. Suing Home Depot.

The man installing said no immediately because the dishwasher didn't fit. I tried to ask him to at least set up the water line and I would secure it later. He refused. The stove I had ordered was not set up completely and the oven was full of packing materials. There was a slight snowfall on the day of delivery and they didn't even bother attempting to dry it off. I bought a brand new GE 4.2 top of the line Washing Machine from Home Depot. Within less then 80 days and possibly 13 wash loads, (I was on a month vacation during that 70 day time frame) it shut down completely, would not drain nor spin. I called Home Depot and they were not interested in helping me in any way. I was told by the Appliance Clerk, "once YOU purchase and sign for Your Appliance it becomes YOUR PROBLEM". Unfortunately, I could not get a Store Manager to even talk to me or call me back.

However, a person named Denise, claiming to be the Appliance Floor Manager did call me back. She and the Sales Clerk were firm in their finale, which once again it was my problem. I had a receipt that stated 90 days default issued, I had a second page receipt that stated if I returned it I would have to pay a re-stocking fee, (mine being $69). Either way, it was a conflict of what they both were arguing with me over.

I mentioned since this happen, I was willing to actually pay that fee, take it back to the store, possibly upgrade to a different washer and add on a dryer. I was told NO, they weren't interested in helping me in any way. Sad that Home Depot's customer service has slipped to "EVERYTHING BEING THE CUSTOMER'S FAULT!" I was also chastised because "I" had not purchased the costly extended warranty from them! What happened to a washer actually lasting at least a couple of years with simple everyday use. Have tried to get the attention of Corporate Home Depot, they do not seem interested either. I just would like to have someone listen or respond with some professionalism other then an argument from Store Employees who pass the buck. NO SUCH LUCK. The Store I purchased this from was Lake Elsinore, California.

Beware of Store Policy, Beware of "the staff" You deal with... Basically I'm telling my story, so YOU might see this and shop elsewhere. "Lowe's" rescued us from this dilemma. The Lowe's Lake Elsinore Store Policy is completely different, they also match or beat another Store's prices, AND THE BIG ONE, they also give a 10% discount to Veteran's... HD does not. Don't even ask, spare YOURSELF the embarrassment. I ask when I made this purchase, I was told "YOU ARE ALREADY GETTING A DISCOUNT, BECAUSE IT IS ON SALE".

By the way: Repair guy came today and our "BRAND NEW WASHER" has a seized/burned up pump and it caused the motherboard/computer system to short out, cost $$$. Even he laughed when we told him we bought it at Home Depot, stating they are the reason I have a job. Thanks Home Depot for my nightmare, and THANKS Lowe's of Lake Elsinore, CA for making our nightmare become a dream.

I purchased a new GE dryer from Home Depot. I also purchased a Samsung washer and GE refrigerator. I planned on coming back in an hour or two and picking them up with a friend's pickup. I asked that each item be placed on a pallet so they could be loaded in my friend's tall dual rear wheel crew cab truck. I was told they could do that. They didn't need to do anything other than set them on the pallet.

I arrived at the store a couple hours later and there sat the appliances, on the concrete by the overhead door. I found a 'certified loader', or whatever it says on their coat and asked why my appliances weren't on a pallet. I was told I needed to talk with someone else. I found that person and repeated my question. I was told they couldn't put them on pallets because they had to charge me for the pallets and they couldn't use the forklift to load items into a pickup. As he was telling me this, I was looking out the door at a Home Depot employee loading a pallet load of materials into the back of a pickup.

I walked away from the person telling me this to get assistance from a loader to manually load the appliances. I had brought my own appliance hand truck. As the employee was helping put the hand truck on the refrigerator, I asked him about the charge for pallets. At the time, I was looking at two pallets leaning against my washer and dryer. I had not seen them before as there was a check stand in the way. He said, "Oh, we only have to charge for the Quikrete pallets, not the other ones".

By the time we got the hand truck on the refrigerator, I got a call from the owner of the truck. He needed his truck back. I only live 5 minutes from Home Depot, if they had been on pallets, I would have been back home by then. The owner of the truck was helping my next door neighbor, and they would have helped me unload them. I found the person who had sold me the appliances, and told me they could put them on pallets, and then told me they couldn't and asked him if they could be delivered. "We can deliver them tomorrow for 79.95", was the response. I had no option, I had to return the truck. I was told I could call the next morning at 6 am to find out when they would be delivered. I called at 6:15 am, and was told to call back in an hour. I called back at 8:20 and was told the delivery was suppose to show up at 8:00 am and hadn't. I was told to call back in a half hour.

At 9:30, after a couple of calls, I was told they were still trying to sort things out, but they would definitely deliver the appliances that day, and would give me a call 30 minutes before they arrived. That meant I had to stay home for the day, and wait. An hour or so later, I was sitting down to get the dimensions of the refrigerator so I could modify a four wheel moving dolly I have so I could place the fridge on it, and roll it around to my back door, instead of going through my house with it. There was a knock on my door. The appliances had arrived, no notice given. Turns out the delivery guy quit that morning. The guys are helpful, and wait while I hurriedly modify the dolly and help me place it on the dolly using the lift gate of the truck. Delivery for 79.95 is drop off 'at the curb', not in the house.

Much to my surprise, the washer and dryer are on pallets, wrapped with plastic and strapped down. The fridge is not. Being delivered on pallets is actually a pain in the neck, NOT helpful. Now I have pallets to get rid of. I get the old appliances out and bring in the dryer. I set it down on the vinyl flooring in my utility room, remove the hand truck and set it outside for using on the washer later. I spin the dryer around so it can be pushed into the space and it resists, instead of sliding smoothly. I look down and see two gouges in my flooring. I tilt the dryer up to see what kind of feet the dryer has that it's lightweight would damage the floor, and instead of finding leveling feet, I found empty holes and sharp sheet metal about two inches long on each side of the holes.

The holes are threaded looking sheet metal, indicating there should be height adjusting or, leveling, feet in the hole. The sheet metal edges on each side of the hole were never intended to touch the flooring. To say I am unhappy is a grand understatement. It is Sunday night, I have a new refrigerator on my back patio, in the rain, covered with plastic, a new washer on my back porch, my old washer and dryer are out front, in my carport, a new dryer sitting the middle of my utility room which has two gouges in the floor, right about in the middle of the path through the utility room to my garage. There is no sense putting the washer and dryer in if I need to replace the flooring. I had to take apart an eight foot long set of three shelves to get swap them, and those need to stay out so I can get new flooring put down. Who should pay for the flooring? Me?

I ordered a 1.9 cu ft, convection microwave, online. It required delivery the same as any other appliance. I was given a delivery window, for today, January 30th, 2016, of 4pm-8pm. I was not thrilled with this window, but I accepted it and reorganized my Saturday, around this time. I was notified by the delivery dispatcher, of delays - the call occurring at 8:30pm. She told me the team was on a delivery, then they would be going to one more stop, (about 8 miles from me) - and that I was the last stop. Three hours later, and I get another call - now it was 11:30 pm and it was the delivery guys calling to ask if I would still like my delivery. It is 11:53pm and my microwave oven arrived safely and the delivery guys are gone. This is all absurd. I am annoyed. I had to wait a total of 8 hours for this appliance.

I feel badly that the delivery guys looked totally exhausted and I am wondering if this is even legal or wise to send these guys out with so many deliveries to do over such a long day. Home Depot - you need to set proper work standards for the companies you hire and you need to check back in with your customers, to see if we were satisfied with the whole process. I am in the process and at the start of replacing my kitchen appliances - I have always loved HD but I have to think twice about buying from you, if I am going to be inconvenienced like this. If I do buy large items from you, I would certainly never take an afternoon delivery slot again.

OMG - what will the cooking and refrigeration purchases be like if I buy from you - I'm afraid! (I can't even imagine if this unit arrived damaged tonight!! [We unpacked it only and briefly plugged it in briefly, so I am hoping all is well.]) I will be calling you about this delivery fiasco - I tried calling hours ago, but the HD employees at the store had gone home and the dispatcher had gone too. The men delivering told my tenant that their paperwork did not show installation as part of the paid service. So they left the dishwasher in the middle of a tiny kitchen, uninstalled. Home depot Customer service was apologetic, but had no recourse to get someone out to install the next day (Saturday). They put a supervisor, Oscar, in charge of the problem. Oscar told me on Saturday that they would "have them come on Monday to do the install and if there was a problem they would take out the machine until they could do the install". My tenant stayed home all day and no one showed up from Home Depot.

I called Home depot again this evening and their customer record showed that only a pickup of the new dishwasher was scheduled for today. An install was not scheduled for today. So Oscar lied to me and my tenant. And to boot, no one showed up to pick it up. I explained to Home Depot that it was unsafe to leave the dishwasher in the middle of a small kitchen. It can be easily tripped over and my tenant is over 80 years old. It did no good. Home Depot customer service said "call back in the morning". But I'm exhausted trying to get them to do their job. I will have to call a plumber tomorrow and get them to come and do the install. I am worried that my tenant will hurt herself maneuvering around this appliance in the kitchen. No communication from Home Depot. December 4th I contacted to ask where my money for the installation that was not performed and the dishwasher that was never delivered. Their response was to refund the installation and this was handled within 2 days. Had to contact again and ask for dishwasher refund (which they forgot to address in my initial request). Agreed to return and told I would see in 7 to 10 days but no money was never credited back.

Contacted on December 18th and was told it was processed (although I did not receive same documentation as for smaller refund). They told me to contact my bank and ask where my money was--I did and they told me no refund was sent or pending. I also checked my PayPal account and this documentation also confirmed that Home Depot did not process that refund although my earlier refund on the same purchase had been processed. Home Depot told me if the bank could not confirm receipt of the funds that I should "do a claim about the funds missing from your account".

I see a pattern of holding money that is not theirs--first not contacting me after the item was returned from the installer; second, in not responding to a direct request for the larger refund--they ignored it and gave me the smaller partial refund; and third, in telling me my bank had received although they provided me no information to substantiate the refund and the resources I have show no refund was processed. I think in addition to this pattern of dodging the refund request, it is dishonest and unethical to ask me to have my bank process this as a fraud loss.

After looking around for quite a while and being approached by a few sales people who were kind enough to let us browse when told we didn't need help.

Although one sales person named Katie was quite a bit more tenacious approaching us numerous times when we explained that we did not need assistance. Then tearing down the Black Friday sale price tags off the refrigerators in particular right in front of us, not removing stove tops, microwaves or dishwashers which had sale signs clearly posted and could have been just as easily removed. So we found a nice Whirlpool that fit very specific dimensions due to the counters where we live being of an old design making the refrigerator more expensive. So now to the meat and potatoes. The refrigerator we picked out seemed to be no longer available so there was only a showroom model. Due to this being a showroom model she had to check with her superior at that time. We were very patient waiting with our 2yr old for over a half an hour. We waited for a while then suggested that they page us overhead when they were ready.

I really did not want much of a discount over what the sales price was, just something to show that they appreciate my time and business. Katie paged us so we returned to appliances hoping to just get maybe our hourly wages taken off of the floor model for waiting. We were not offered anything off the used floor model so we declined with hopes of coming back and checking our luck after the sale, as now the refrigerator would be priced as a floor model maybe not even as much as the Black Friday but we were willing to take a chance. My wife called back to check the price and they now were able to obtain new refrigerators of this type for some reason. Anyway I asked if I could even get the Black Friday cost for the floor model now and was refused. The price in the store was even hundreds more than online so I asked if we could work from there and nothing.

Needless to say I took their online price and searched around. Lowe's was kind enough to match the price, deliver for free which Home Depot was going to charge for and take the old fridge away. I see this as a case of false advertising. It is as if we were lured into a position to purchase a less than desirable appliance then later not even given the same opportunity after we were forma lack of better term lied too. Thank you for reading and please do not let someone try to pull the wool over your eyes and certainly do not reward that behavior even if in the long run you pay a few extra bucks.

Neither washer nor dryer work properly. Getting service is an act in futility. The "service provider" works at its own pace and convenience. Now almost 2 months after purchase of brand new equipment it still is not repaired. Home Depot will patronize you, waste your time, make you reinvent the wheel over and over again. In short, do anything but help you get what you paid for. They stonewall and bloviate and are totally worthless. Only billing is what they are good at. They will never see another penny of mine and I will take them to court if necessary. The manufacturer is LG which believe it or not, is even worse than Home Depot.

My wife and I recently purchased new appliances for our kitchen, (refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave). We scheduled our delivery two weeks out from the purchase. The delivery company contacted up and gave us a time frame window of 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm. We arranged our day so that we would both be home during that time, we gave away our old appliances to a charity that day to make room for the new, and we waited. And waited. We contacted the delivery company at around 3:00 pm and were told that the delivery truck was running behind and that he would be there in about an hour.

I called back at 5:00 pm and was told that the delivery truck was 30 miles away and would be there shortly. I attempted to call back at 6:00 pm and discovered that the delivery company was closed! I am a police officer and I work at night and promptly left for work. At 8:00 pm I received a call from the delivery truck that informed me they would be at my house by 8:30 pm. With installation that means they would be at my house until 10:30 pm. Two strange men alone with my wife in the middle of the night. I called Home Depot to reschedule and they said I would have to wait until next weekend - without any appliances and that it's not their fault it's the delivery company's fault (whom they hired). Never doing business with Home Depot again!

1 1/2 years ago I bought a dishwasher through Home Depot. I brought a Samsung dishwasher that reduced home and the pump was bad. They sent someone out to repair it, and the man demanded money even though it was covered under warranty. Called Home Depot, they said they would exchange it. Went and got different dishwasher because that was the last one of that kind they had. So they had to do a return, and a purchase on the same day. I paid more for the second dishwasher than I did the first one, because they would not do an even exchange. Got it home and installed with no problems, and then all of a sudden one day, the dishwasher just did not turn on.

Two weeks later I had a repair man come out, replace a part and say it was fixed. Guess what? Not fixed! Yes, it turned on, yes it added it water, but it would not go into cycles. The repair man came back out two weeks later, and replaced another part and said it was fixed. Guess What! Still not fixed, this time it would not dry, nor would it clean dishes. So they sent the repairman back out. He came and replaced yet a third part, and said it was fixed. This time it worked for but for only two weeks. Then again, would not clean, nor would it dry.

They sent him back out, and he said it was not repairable. Per their warranty department's Guidelines: If it is repaired more than three times they will repair to equal value and features. This did not happen. I called for three months straight about the status of the claim and they would not even take my call. At one point, I had a rep tell me that "If his mother and grandmother could wash dishes by hand then so could I." They claimed the receipt they had did not match mine, and the price was different. So at their request, I emailed them the receipt. They then said they had to research it. Two weeks later they came back and told me that the price I paid was less than what my receipt showed, (which was the price of the 1st dishwasher I bought). They have offered me $200 less than what I paid, refused to exchange for an equal model, or like dishwasher and are sending me a check.

I have no problem with a check because I do not want to buy anything again from them. It should not take three months for a repair. The company did not follow their own agreement. They are trying, and have take money from me with a bogus receipt (Yes, I have asked for a copy), and am asking for additional details about how this "system error" occurred and where this research came from. I have asked for copies. The customer Service reps are rude, rude, rude and are seriously untrained. There are a lot of bad review about this company, not just mine. Bad experiences are generally not trumped up. Run, from this company and go elsewhere.

We had to pay $145 for a technician to come to our home and tell us that because we have a dog - even one single dog hair in the door will make it leak from the front (potentially damaging our floors). Home Depot refused to take the washer back - there is a 48-hour return policy on appliances apparently - and now we are stuck. PLEASE DO NOT purchase appliances from Home Depot. Customer service was mean and insensitive and they're very unprofessional. We'll post about LG as well - but beware of Home Depot. They're not reliable appliance professionals.

Purchased microwave, stove, fridge, and dishwasher from Home Depot and PAID for installation and delivery (3rd party). I spent enough money that one would think everything would be delivered with no problems. After reading on here, it seems I am not the only one. We must have been their first stop on their list because they arrived around 730am. First thing they say is "do you have someone who can take your door off? We don't take off doors just deliver." Apparently my fridge was too big so their next logical step was "you can order a smaller fridge" and then they decided to move on with "inspection". Said my fridge has so shut off valve, my stove doesn't either and wait for it... neither does my dishwasher!

At this point I'd rather my money back then. Told them we didn't want any of it. Customer service line they referred me to was a scam. Said they were calling and really weren't. We didn't sign anything and now trying to get our money will probably be a gigantic headache. Will never order from Home Depot again! I guess they must not need a FOUR APPLIANCE SALE that bad.

I purchased a Samsung washer from Home Depot on November 26. I received a voicemail from the delivery team at Home Depot. My delivery date was rescheduled 2 weeks out from the original delivery date due to the Manufacturer not stocking my item on the truck in time for shipment/delivery time. I called Home Depot delivery agent back to see if there was anything that they could do to deliver the item due to the major inconvenience this would cause since I am in need of the washer I purchased.

The delivery agent (Andrea) was very rude when I tried to explain my problem and asked to see if there was anything she could do to have the item delivered sooner from another warehouse or from the store itself. She laughed and repeated herself to say she could not do anything that I would have to contact the manufacturer! First off, why would I have to contact the manufacturer? That is Home Depot's job and why could she not assist to see if any other stores locally carried the item? I would gladly go pick it up! I will never buy again from Home Depot if this is the type of customer service they are providing to people.

By the way, I called the store where I purchased the washer from. The day that I purchased the washer they had some in stock. Unfortunately I was not able to take home that day so I scheduled delivery. So I called the store today to see if I could pick one up, they lied to my face and said they did not carry that item in store. My husband even told the store clerk that he also saw that day that the item was in the store. Never again. I should have gone to Lowe's or HHGregg.

(BUYER BEWARE) Home Depot advertises that they match prices with other stores for the exact same item, but they conveniently do not advertise that they charge you $15.00 to remove your old appliance. This is deceptive advertising and the public needs to know that Home Depot is not competitive with Lowe's and some other appliance stores because you do not get free removal of your old appliance, and will always pay $15.00 more totally if you buy an appliance from Home Depot. I spoke to an assistant manager at Home Depot in Holiday, Florida, a week before Black Friday, 2015, and spoke to customer relations at the Home Depot corporate office but absolutely no satisfaction from this company. Sad indeed! However I had a great experience at Lowe's and saved $15.00.

Do not use Home Depot for appliances delivery and installation. Home Depot vendor for appliance delivery and installation for the New York area is Home Delivery of America. Home Delivery of America has multiple bad reviews all over the internet and lawsuits pending for extremely poor service. I read one on Yelp that was similar to my situation. I wish I had read it before the dishwasher was ordered.

We ordered a dishwasher from Home Depot that was supposed to be installed and the old one hauled away. All we got was 2 bullies with attitude that did not want to do their job. When the workers arrived they quickly determined they could not install the dishwasher. I asked them to remove the old dishwasher and leave the new one for the handyman to install. They said no. I asked if I can sign for the dishwasher so they can leave the new one. They said no. By then my handyman came up from working downstairs and quickly determined that the dishwasher can easily be installed. It took four times asking the workers to allow me to sign the paper to keep the new dishwasher. My handyman ended up installing the dishwasher and helped me carry out the old one to the curb.

Home Depot should take the time to read the bad reviews on the internet for Home Delivery of America. If they had they would not be using them as a vendor.

I called to Home Depot, they redirect me to Samsung customer service, result of conversation: Called Samsung support at (866) 797-8727. Filed a complaint: Transaction # ** Was a long call. I spoke to a woman in support and got nowhere. She said since we have had the refrigerator less than 90 days, it is up to the installer to repair or replace and they cannot do anything. I told her we bought the unit from Home Depot, and they gave us Samsung's number. She said they should not have. I asked for paint to repair it. She put me on hold to check, then said they don't have anything like that and she can't help me because it's been less than 90 days.

I asked why it isn't protected better when they ship? She said that the installer should report if there is a problem with the product coming from the factory. I told her we are upset and don't think we should have to pay full price for a product that can't come without scratches and has caused us so much disruption. She said that would have to come from Home Depot or the installer. I told her that everyone is passing the buck (fridge is around $3300) and giving us the runaround. She said she is sorry, but the policy is very strict that the seller/installer is responsible for any damages during the first 90 days and they know that. She says we would have to work with Home Depot and the installer on the return. Can call Home Depot again, but won't get anywhere, just more time and frustration.

Have bought the dryer, the GE washer (thank God I found the registration paper from GE!) AND 2 dishwashers!! ALL my purchases from the store I bought from, except a clothes dryer have been deleted. Deleted. They're up to something. Thankfully I have the service contracts for all but the washer (again, mistakenly taken by the repairman) so will call them directly, not Home Depot.

I will never buy anything from them again. The card is nearly paid off & will be cancelled. They're not the only store in town! Sears, Lowe's, probably will go to Sears. Have purchased appliances from them with service plans, never a problem like this. I guess Home Depot is doing so well, they don't need business? Never mind the horror of the hard floor install that took 4 times to get right! Everyone speaking in other reviews about bad delivery aren't exaggerating. Bad place anymore, all the way around!

Hello Home Depot. Last year in August 2014 our air conditioner stopped working. We called a third party technician and he refilled freon. After doing that he checked in attic and told us two things. 1) indoor coil was leaking and 2) installation of AC in attic was not correct. That time he also said that coil was under warranty since we had installed AC in 2009 and coil leak was in 2014. But he was expensive so we called Home Depot for fix the issue. Home Depot came and said re-installation should be done. I insisted to check coil leak but delta technician did not do that. We paid 1300/1400 dollars to Home Depot (thru delta mechanical) and they only worked on fixing bad installation. I repeatedly told delta mechanical technician that coil is leaking and that should be fixed, but he said, "There was no coil leak." He did not take efforts to see if that was leaking or not. He left without doing anything. Because since there was freon, our AC worked.

This year we called Home Depot to do annual maintenance of our a.c. Delta Technician came and said, attic installation (done by delta in 2014) was not good. His pathway in attic was blocked, which shouldn't have been the case as Delta themselves did the re-install and so he said, "He cannot check parts inside the attic." We told him that delta itself redid installation last year. He checked his records and agreed with us. We called 15 times to Home Depot/delta to redo installation and check everything. Finally, they came and redid installation. They did checked everything & said all was fine and after 1-week ac stopped working. Delta guy came to our home again and this time he declared, coil was leaking. And he said he will charge 1300 dollars to install new coil and coil was under warranty. We agreed to that and all of a sudden delta called us telling, coil was not under warranty and that will be for 3000 dollars.

I am very upset about the unprofessional way of handling our AC problem by Home Depot. Last year when coil was leaking and still under warranty, delta lied to us even without checking inner parts that 'coil was not leaking'. If that time delta had fixed coil, I wouldn't be suffering from 1 month without AC in Arizona heat. Why didn't delta take care of coil leak last year?

Last year I had filed complaint with Trane that coil was leaking and we wanted labor refund from them. They asked me the model number of coil but then I told them that I called Home Depot to fix the issue and would get coil number from them since I decided to not to go to person who said there was a leak and charging lot of money. Since we did not have that in writing last year, delta is trying to take advantage. How can Home Depot have so much unprofessional service? I want to pay only labor cost to replace the coil and I want Home Depot to not to charge me for coil replacement. Please respond immediately as my whole family especially small daughter is suffering without AC from 1 month.

Delivery date came, the guys who delivered were awesome and far more professional than anyone I've ever found in Home Depot's store. The fridge has an intermittent squeal, it's done it a few times and the front loader washer dances across my floor despite being leveled and accurate many times. I've done two loads of wash and one empty one, even filming it for proof. The store wouldn't help, told me to contact the number given with my paperwork, there are about 5 numbers and the guy in appliances, Glenn, wouldn't help. I call back for a manager, the girl who answered took my name and issue when I asked for one, then after I get through all that tells me she is manager and may be able to assist me. She then asks if I purchased the extended warranty??? They are brand new in the home less than 24 hours, she can't understand why I'm upset at this point.

She then tells me I have to call the number, I ask her which one, and could she provide it for me, she could not. I asked her to please check for me so I'm calling the right number, I get put on hold for 5 minutes (I counted) and then get the number, she told me to call them and it's less than 24 hours, they can replace it, no problem. I asked her twice if this was accurate, she assured me it was.

And so it begins... I call the number, get told no, that is not accurate but since it's less than 48 hours, they can send someone to look at the problems, they are sending the delivery guys. I pointed out these are not repairmen or reps of the store, she said it's their policy. She also told me that they cannot simply replace nor can I return as they have a no return policy for appliances. I told her no one ever told me that, her response, "well, I'm sorry for that but the employees are aware, even if they didn't tell you." So now I must take another day off of work to wait for the delivery guys. I won't even know when they are coming as they call the night before. She said this is their policy.

We had to save our money to get these new appliances, I waited some time as we had borrowed ones and went to the Laundromat for our wash only to now have this. Their customer service and knowledge is negligent at best. I will never shop there again, never. She also wouldn't give me her last name or employee ID number when I asked, who could blame her I guess as these calls must come daily given their policies, or lack thereof.

I bought Samsung washer and gas dryer, as well as LG refrigerator from Seattle Bitter Lake Home Depot store. Delivery was made on August 25th by the company contracted by Home Depot. Their number is (866) 433-5879. Afterwards, I washed my delicates with cold water setting. When done, the clothes were very warm. I did a second load, same setting, same result. I Googled, thought it was a temperature switch issue. I called Home Depot 206-361-9600 about this issue, they had me call the 866 number, which sent me a little go-around and last I was told by the service department they only service GE appliances.

So, I finally called 877-946-9843, selected Appliance, then option 5 Samsung. After telling the problem, the guy said "Go look behind the washer see if the hoses hooked up in reverse." My gosh, indeed the hot hose was hooked to cold and vice versa. So I called (866) 433-5879 back on 8/28 complained about the problem. The lady even asked "Can you fix it yourself?" Of course, I refused. So the 2nd crew came out on 9/1, reversed the hoses.

I went to talk to **, the manager of Appliance at Home Depot today, 9/4, about the fact that my clothes were ruined. She called me back 4 hours later and said she contacted the delivery/installation company and they told her there was never a hookup problem - the installation was correct. Then, I asked her why I would waste my time to call around and have them come out the second time if the installation was done correctly the first time? She still insists she believe them, not me. I told her she is not a good customer service manager!

BUYER BEWARE: Purchasing this washer and dryer has been the worst customer experience I've yet to have with The Home Depot. THD contracts out their delivery service to cut corners on labor costs and wash themselves of accountability of confirmed time frames. I WILL NEVER purchase another major appliance from a retailer who has elected to put cheap outsourced labor ahead of customer experience. To make matters worse, they did nothing for me in terms of softening the fact they held me hostage for two days waiting for a delivery. Canceling my Home Depot credit account and will never make another purchase from you again. THD, wake up. It's your brand I deal with when making a purchase, not GE's lackluster delivery network.

Brand new refrigerator delivered & right out of the box, does not work. When Home Depot was contacted within a week after delivery about a return, they refused & directed us to the manufacturer. 1 month later, we still have an expensive, defective refrigerator. Horrible experience!!! Home Depot has little to no customer service or support.

I ordered a dryer from Home Depot (and have always had amazing customer service at Colma) however their delivery company was awful. The delivery man arrived and was rude off the bat, when I asked him to please take his shoes off or wear booties just to look at the space where the dryer is he refused and threatened to cancel the delivery. When I asked if he could put a plastic or rubber mat down -- just like the previous delivery people had done to deliver the almost exact same washer! -- he refused.

I asked him what would happen if his installation damaged my marble floor or carpet and he again said he is canceling my delivery. When I asked to call his supervisor he first told her that he couldn't deliver if he had to take his shoes off. When I spoke to the supervisor I said there has to be a way to solve this problem. And she agreed. She tried to ask him and he refused. I asked her if he could just leave the dryer and she said yes. It didn't matter, he took his phone and ended the call with the supervisor, said I was being rude and took the dryer back into the truck, like a kid taking his ball and going home. The silver lining is that if this guy can't even have a functional conversation about whether damage would be done to my floors, or how they would install the dryer, then I wouldn't want him working inside my home, installing very heavy appliances, and adjusting the gas lines needed for installation.

I am worried about other customers who may not be able to advocate for themselves, or elderly customers who are threatened by his behavior to let him do whatever however he pleases. Also, I have had good and mediocre experiences with Home Depot deliveries in the last. I have noticed there are easy ways for these delivery companies to get around the review system. If the delivery people feel they won't get a good review, they don't submit the review process to the customer. Lovely.

We ordered Washer & Dryer online for home delivery. As per the order status, they were supposed to call us a day before the delivery to confirm the delivery time. That never happened. In fact, we called them right before the midnight to check if the items are still arriving in few hours as scheduled to learn that it is scheduled for delivery in the afternoon and the driver will call 30 minutes prior to the delivery. Luckily, this time the driver cared to call and said he would reach at our place in 30 minutes for the delivery of the washer and dryer.

However, when he reached at the door, he outrightly denied to deliver since we requested for Booties and Floor runner to protect the floor and he didn't have them. He was unprofessional and very rude. He did not have patience to explain me the details of why is he not delivering rather he ran away from the door and shout that he cannot deliver. He did not even listen what I had to say. There was another guy with him. He was quiet the entire time and was looking at what's happening but did not say anything at all.

He rather preferred to see how his colleague behaves unethically with customers. I wish I had the name of the delivery guy. I got to know from Home Depot that the delivery company name is "Premier Product Management." The delivery guy was awful. He left the premise without delivering the items. We will have to work with Home Depot to reschedule the delivery for which they said, they can not do it until the next week. Such an inconvenience and unpleasant experience.

The store failed to order a stove and dishwasher. The delivery and set up people called us 3 different times to bring delivery it and never had the items. We called corporate to fix the problem. They did not nothing but lip service. After over 4 hours on the phone we were promised problem was fixed. Nothing ever came. We finally cancelled the order. Then a week later they called us and told it was ready for delivery. We stayed home all day 3 times without ever getting our items. Then it took over 3 more hours on the phone to get credit for items we never got.

I bought a washing machine and dryer from Home Depot several years ago... A few years later I needed service. It took them a while to come and check and I still had to wait on a part, that meant another week or so before they came back. He comes back and in the process of fixing the problem he scratched the machine and tried to say it wasn't him. After going back and forth with the company they just never called me back. I will never buy another appliance from Home Depot and never use their warranty. Who is regulating these people... They get away with so much. I buy my stuff from Costco now.

Purchased a Samsung dryer from Home Depot on 7/12/2015. I also purchased the Home Depot 5-year protection plan. Dryer broke on 7/18/2015. Samsung repair technician cannot repair (has tried multiple times) and Home Depot refuses to exchange or refund dryer. I have contacted my local Home Depot store (Oxnard, CA) and Home Depot Corporate office. Home Depot corporate office told me to work it out with Samsung and then hung up the phone.
