We purchased a stainless steel Frigidaire refrigerator and within the first month one of our crisper drawers broke when my husband was opening it. Shortly after the second crisper drawer cracked when my daughter was opening it for a yogurt. We had our previous fridge for years with no broken plastic or issues but we wanted all stainless steel appliance and thought we were upgrading. The plastic is horribly cheap and Frigidaire customer service will not compensate us at all. Instead they provided me with a link to replace the drawers which start at $75 each. Not sure I want to buy more drawers that will inevitably break. I will

    Never purchase from them again.

Be aware! Don't buy any FRIGIDAIRE APPLIANCES. They're SO CHEAP materials. It's just waste of money. I received my Fridge from Frigidaire Company on 2018 and was defected since its first day delivery. We called technicians many, many time to fix different issues like doors/Distribution of temperature, etc. Any time we put cucumbers or basil, the day after will burn and turns black. I called the company for technical support and no answer. It's the worst Appliances Company I have ever seen. :(

Outrageous! Refrigerator is JUST over 2 years old. First thing that went wrong was the rubber strip that seals door to refrigerator. Tore just after one year and now drags on the floor. Top shelf on door cracked off so now I have only 2 shelves on the door. Top shelf inside the refrigerator is cracked in the middle so bad I can’t even use it. I’m left with 2 shelves inside the refrigerator and 2 on the door! And of course no one will help me because it’s been more than a year. I should’ve just taken money spent on this garbage and lit it on fire and used my YETI. Practically the same space but better sturdier quality. Appliances made now are horrible but yet not cheap. No one stands behind anything because they don’t care... They just pass your phone call around because the consumer doesn’t matter anymore.

This is the worst experience ever with a refrigerator. Purchased the original from Best Buy in 2015. Ice maker continued to stop making ice. After the 2nd repair I argued there has to be a defect and demanded a new refrigerator. Now 2 year later the refrigerator is not getting cold. I was told by an independent repairman that there is a major flaw in the refrigerator and Frigidaire stop making the repair kits. I am 2 weeks away from hosting my annual Thanksgiving dinner and now my refrigerator is not getting cold! I am furious! Hoping the refrigerator can be repaired, hoping this mess will be resolved before Thanksgiving! This is unacceptable for consumers to spend their hard earned money on a refrigerator that is a lemon! This is a $3000 refrigerator and it is as dependable as the weather!

We remodeled our kitchen 5 years ago. The Frigidaire refrigerator has been a piece of junk since day one. The ice dispenser broke early on and had to be repaired twice, and still does not work. The shelves on the doors are cheap crap and break easily - and they charge $50 to replace the cheap crap. The Frigidaire stove top: 3 out of 4 eyes only work on high or off! The Frigidaire microwave works when it wants to. The only appliance working 5 years later - the WHIRLPOOL double oven.

I tried to post this on their website but they said they won't post it because it would "Direct Business Away". How about you contact me as a customer and find out what you can do rather than hiding negative posts. It would go a lot further to say, "We are sorry you aren't satisfied, here are the steps we are taking to improve your experience"

I purchased my refrigerator less than three months ago. The freezer stopped working so I called the 800 number. The number states, "due to heavy call volume, we are not taking calls at this time". You mean it's okay to say you're too busy to help a customer? Apparently so. I then went to the chat online to get support. The best they can do is two days out. The place I bought it would at least support me within 48 hours of the purchase. I am very disappointed in the lack of support that they give. Think twice before purchasing. This type of customer service shows me how little they care. DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE

Model Number LFHB2751TF5. Bought this product Feb 14, 2019 and it quit Sept. 29, 2019. As of Oct. 21, 2019 I still have no refrigerator. Let me say Buyer Beware. This product was bought new from Lowe's Store. I have contacted both companies numerous times in person, by phone, by email and what has transpired is two repairmen have been to my house. First one was talking to Frigidaire tech which said it was a computer module so he had to order that part. Well it's not that. He told them what it was but yet they send out another repairman to say the same thing.

So now we sit and wait again for the compressor to come in and him to repair it. I would not ever buy this product again due to Frigidaire and Lowe's with their unsympathetic attitude to my family not having a refrigerator. Other negatives on this is the water in dispenser does not get cold and makes very little ice. Water filter cost anywhere from $40-$50. Lasted 5 months and had to be changed.

A warranty from Frigidaire that says it is a year warranty on parts should say only parts that are essential for the running of the unit. If a roller on a drawer breaks (had the right one go out in a month of ownership, second in 7 months) to bad. Guess just take out the drawer (if you can get it out) and go without. Not really what I bought this for. Customer service hours work for them not anyone that puts in 12 hours a day, and when you call expect to be on hold for 20 minutes. I work for a company that says to put the customer first, if something is not right fix it. I loved to tell people about the refrigerator and how we enjoy it. Now I will tell people not to buy one. My brand new refrigerator purchased at Home Depot has problems that began the day after delivery. Home Depot is unresponsive, and it's nearly impossible to reach Frigidaire for help -- I spent 30 minutes navigating the automated system. Their "warranty department" is overloaded, no surprise. I finally called the main Home Depot number and had the same problem. I went to Home Depot chat, and after nearly another hour I received information that Frigidaire doesn't "make service appointments but they did provide me with local companies in your area ... They also advised that ... this unit does make some noise regularly so if there is no issue, you will be responsible for the service charge since it won't fall under the warranty." Really? Warranties don't last longer than 24 hours? Disgusting, I'll boycott both of these companies, and actively recommend that others avoid them at all costs. (It'll save you a LOT of time and money!)

I clean the back of my refrigerator and the front ventilation area often. I noticed the back had some moisture areas and a slight bulge to those areas. I took photos for reference. I had to call a repair service to fix a problem with water forming on the bottom of the freezer. Looking on line for the same problem that someone else might have had it stated that this happens when something gets in the drain area. Well it was a broken piece of insulation. $172 later the repairman says that it is fixed. I ask him to look at the back of the refrigerator where the discoloration is happening and slight bulge. He said he has seen this on the French Door style but never the Side by Side. Is it a failure of proper insulation of an area void of insulation?

So I call Electrolux the company for Frigidaire, in Canada. He hears from me and the serviceman about the back of the refrigerator. Photos, a copy of the service report, get emailed to the company saying the unit just turned 9 years old and that the problem seems to have been happening over a period of time. How would they like to remedy this problem. The solution to the French Doors problem was to provide a kit which was an insulation blanket to attached to the back of the refrigerator. Did not help the situation. So I received a reply from the company offering a 10% rebate on a new unit! They are joking right? This would not cover a repair bill, or taxes, or much of anything else for their failure to notify consumers of this problem with insulation. I will contact the C.P.A. and my Attorney General's office to see how this should be remedied but not at 10%! I will not buy this brand again and it seems from previous reviews I am not alone.

First of all my prior refrigerator was a Maytag and I didn't realize that the great feature of that Maytag was when you open the freezer there's a light in there. This one doesn't have a light. I didn't realize that it's so dark in my kitchen even with my light that I have to use a flashlight if I want to get something in the back of my freezer.

The bins are very flimsy compared to the Maytag that I had as are the shelves which are not very deep. I was told by the sales person that I'm getting the same size. I gave him the measurements directly from Maytag so he knew they were correct. I had to give so much food away especially in the tiny freezer area. My ice creams didn't even fit in this one. Never mind are the rest of the items I had in it

It never should've been released from the factory. There's so much saran wrap, plastic pieces throughout the door above where the freezer is around the handle and they're stuck. They are all embedded. You can't even take them out with a tweezer so either the delivery company was supposed to do it when it arrived or the factory just missed it. I absolutely would not recommend of Frigidaire.

Purchased new 9-2-18. When motor starts, loud "clacking" noise can be heard throughout my house. Noise is coming from the Control Panel in the freezer. During past 10 months have had repairmen out 4 times. Each said this is a common problem, and appears to be a manufacturing defect. Frigidaire recommended putting insulation around the tubes thru which freon runs. This was done and the clacking noise continues.

The last rep said since the manufacturer's repair recommendation is not working, the only option was to have Frigidaire replace the refrigerator. When I called Lowe's 2 weeks later to learn the status, I was told that the clacking noise was normal. I said this is the first time I, or any of my many friends, have ever even heard of this problem! I now have another repairman scheduled to come out, but am not optimistic at all. I would urge everyone to avoid purchasing anything from Frigidaire because if there is a problem, you will surely be bitterly disappointed!

Frigidaire refrigerators are not manufactured well. This is my second in 5 years. Only bought again so all appliances in kitchen would match. Frigidaire clearly does not care and has no quality control. Very unfortunate. This refrigerator from the get-go was freezing everything with temp set at 38. Missing gasket caused other damage to refrigerator which had to be repaired/replaced under warranty. Two main parts had to be replaced and refrigerator was brand new. Last Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator (previous model to this one) had an insulation void I didn't know about. No way at all to repair. Had to replace. Only mention this as there is a definite theme and that is Frigidaire doesn’t not have any quality control. Again, the only reason I bought another Frigidaire was so the finish on all my kitchen appliances would match.

I hoped for the best but unfortunately got what have learned Frigidaire is all about and that is mediocrity. I tried to leave a review on Frigidaire website (their team asked me to review); but, when I did, company emailed me back stating they wouldn’t post it because the review contained something they didn’t like and included a list and all that applied was this: “Directs people away” from their product. So, don’t trust reviews you see posted on its webpage as Frigidaire picks and chooses what reviews to post, which means those reviews mean nothing. Reviews are to help customers decide which product they want to buy; hence, I am leaving my honest review here.

My vegetable/salads are kept crisp in the crisper drawer (I was surprised by that). The fresh drawer I use to store my son's juice pouches and it is able to hold 20 pouches (2 boxes), 3-4 packs of shredded cheese and a yogurt or 2. I purchased this Black Frigidaire Refrigerator 10+ years ago. I am for the most part happy with the refrigerator. It matches well, works well. Never had to have it serviced, and keeps all the food at a great temperature. The only drawback and for me this is key, when you are observing a bunch of refrigerators in a huge store with so many others they all start to look the same in size unless obviously if it's a huge one.

But square footage can be deceiving because some have more in the main part and some in the freezer. We didn’t realize we had huge drawers in the bottom that quite honestly I barely use yet the freezer is miniature. We are big on freezing. If there is a sale on chicken or meat we like to freeze it. Our freezer is basically a non functional freezer for anything more than several frozen dinners, bags of frozen vegetables and 2 mini ice trays. It's frustrating for sure.

The two issues that bother me most about this appliance is the fact that the ice maker will occasionally start crushing cubes of ice when it isn't supposed to. The ice dispenser is set on cube, but you get crushed. The other thing is that the freezer drawers/baskets don't fit on the guides like they are supposed to and they sometimes fall on one side or fall out of the drawer guides, which negates the purpose of a drawer. Other than those two things it works really well and has a nice aesthetic.

All the drawers and control knobs are plastic, cheap plastic. The meat drawer guides had broken within the first year and it's not an easy fix. The knob that controls the freezer temp broke shortly after, so to adjust the temp, we have to take all our food out, unscrew the panel in the back and what's left of the control knob try to guesstimate where the arrow was. There was insufficient space in our retro-kitchen for a full-size refrigerator and so we purchased an apartment-sized, frost-free Frigidaire refrigerator in 2017. Having successfully had long-lived Frigidaires years ago, I assumed this one would last for a few years. I was wrong. In 2018, during warm weather, the fridge began to make prolonged, extremely loud and unique noises that went on for hours. When the racket finally stopped (I presume it was defrosting), the fridge would switch over to cooling. This, too, would go on for hours and hours, non-stop. And when that cycle finished, the racket would resume immediately, loud enough to keep me awake all night.

Despite its hard work (it never stopped working), the fridge was frequently unable to keep its contents cold. Foolishly, I bore with it and it settled down in the winter. This summer of 2019, however, it has gone back to its old, roaring ways. Consequently, I shall be replacing it with a manual-defrost refrigerator but definitely not a Frigidaire. As frivolous as this might sound, this has been a most unpleasant experience. It's sad to think that a company as old as Frigidaire, a company fully capable of making excellent products, would produce goods of such a low standard.

STAY AWAY FROM FRIGIDAIRE. NOT WORTH THE FRUSTRATION.

Frigidaire sent me an email asking for a review. I submitted the above review and the next day received an email from the moderator that my review would not be published because it drives away business. I bought a Frigidaire refrigerator in 2014. Since I've had it the ice maker it has never worked right. It's been serviced many times and the actual ice maker has been replaced twice already and still doesn't work right. Since February I have had it serviced 4 times. In June it was supposed to be completely replaced but due to the company not putting the order in on time the warranty ran out so now I have to pay to have it fixed myself as Frigidaire won't cover it. They will only give me 30% off the actual part. If you make a crappy product then you should be responsible for fixing it when it breaks. No ice maker should have to be replaced three times in five years. Nor should it have to be serviced over 10 times in five years. Will never buy a Frigidaire. Nor will I buy Electrolux because they are the same company.

I purchased a Fridgidaire refrigerator in July 2018. In April 2019 (refrigerator nine months old) I noticed that the food in the refrigerator was warm. The freezer was fine. I turned the temperature to the coldest setting in the refrigerator and bought a thermometer and it read 55 degrees. I called Frigidaire customer service and told them that the refrigerator was warm but the freezer was fine. I told the associate that I turned down the temperature to the coldest setting and it still read 55 degrees. First the associate told me that thermometers are never correct! Then she asked me if the refrigerator was plugged in! Then she asked if it was in the garage since the garage is too hot for refrigerators. Then she asked if I turned the temperature down to zero because that meant that I turned off the refrigerator! I was angry by then and asked for a service call. She gave me an appliance store phone number.

When I called them they told me that they no longer service Frigidaire products because they are too hard to deal with. I called Frigidaire again and received another appliance store number. The service man came after one week and told us that the fan motor was broken. We waited two weeks for the part to come in. Then we had to make an appointment. The service man came back and as he was putting in the new motor the fan itself broke in half. We have to wait for the part to come in and make another appointment. It has been 6 weeks since we had an operable refrigerator. Luckily we have a 30 year old refrigerator in our GARAGE that works fine! I am definitely buying an extended warranty which I never do because I do not trust this product. DO NOT BUY!

Well... We remodeled our kitchen cabinets, countertops, the works and all new appliances. Got dishwasher, microwave, slide-in stove and my French Door refrigerator with the exciting TWO ice makers. Who could want more? Right? WRONG! The appliances were under new warrant. We started using it real quick with the ice makers. And by the way I had learned real quick to keep a yard stick close by because when we opened the bottom freezer drawer some ice cubes would fall out the side/back to the bottom floor of the freezer and the drawer would not shut unless we took the long yard stick and raked it under the bins to knock the ice out onto the floor!!

But back to the “problems”. The top quit working and had to be replaced two different times because it quit working and I have lost track now but I am almost sure the bottom has been replaced too or something about the “arm” of the ice maker. I even got scared and bought an additional warranty! Now for the problem now. About 6 months ago here it comes again. No ice and now no water from the dispenser. So we had to unplug the fridge, remove all food and put into an second fridge we keep outside for garden veggies and it had to “thaw”. Bingo ice. We were told it was probably the water valve and would need to eventually be replaced.

Now fast forward. Once again frozen no ice so we knew if the valve had to be replaced and new water filter. (Cost $ every 6 months!) Anyway we pulled the fridge from the wall and that is when I ALMOST FAINTED! There was a BALL of ice stuck not only to my fridge but my wall was BLACK WITH ROT! I have heard never say never but never will I buy Frigidaire again!!!! After reading all these reviews. Better start pulling yours out before you have to replace a wall! All of them except the refrigerator have worked well. We are a family of two and we don't abuse our kitchen. In less than 2 years the temperature indicator began to fail. The second one now has an issue keeping temp in the fridge section. The seal on the first one was weak on the freezer section. I had to buy magnets to help keep the freezer door closed because it kept popping open when you closed the fridge door. I had to buy two thermometers to keep track of the temperature. There is no sensor in the freezer so the temp kept rising to 10-15 degrees in the freezer before the compressor would kick on.

Now the second one the fridge is raising to 45-50 degrees and half the time the compressor won’t kick on and I have to trigger it manually. Food has not been lasting long in the fridge and the temp fluctuations are crazy. My 20 year old Hotpoint fridge did a better job keeping temp than this brand-new fridge. In November 2011 we bought an entire matching group of Frigidaire appliances; Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, stove/oven, and microwave. A couple weeks ago I moved the refrigerator away from the wall to vacuum, and clean out the dust around the coils underneath. There are two rusty lines running down the back, and coming from a wet rusty spot about five feet up. This wet rusty spot has frost on it. We had an Amana refrigerator that we bought new and left with the house when we sold, 21 years later, and it worked great. We bought a new Samsung in 2000 and left with the house we sold in 2000 before moving to our current home. It also worked great.

Thinking that a spot that was rusting through the steel on the back of my refrigerator must be a manufacture defect, I politely called Frigidaire to inquire. I may have as well called you the reader, as Frigidaire. They did the same as you would do, told me to, "call a local repairman!" They are a great company with quality products, and awesome customer service. NO, NOT REALLY, THEY SUCK! Within two years of the purchase we noticed the digital display on the stove, was slipping down and out of place. The chances of me buying another Frigidaire appliance, are about the same, ok, even less than, me being invited to the White House (no matter who the President is) and accepting the invitation.

We purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator in September of 2018. On December 20, 2018, the ice maker on the door stopped working and I noticed it was freezing some of the food in the refrigerator section. Since then we have had SIX, YES SIX visits from repair guys who have replaced water valves, air handler housing kit, gasket, taped foil, and who knows what else. I have to wait for the SEVENTH visit to replace the control board and heater.

Regarding some of the food getting frozen in the refrigerator area, one repair person recommended I set it to 39 degrees instead of the recommended 37 degrees. One of the repair guys said it would freeze any food towards the back because of the DESIGN of the refrigerator. The cold air from the freezer is pushed up to cool the refrigerator area so any food towards the back of the refrigerator by the air vents would get frozen! Save yourself a headache, I suggest you do your homework and look at the design of the refrigerators you are looking at and look up reviews.

The other night the refrigerator quit cooling. Luckily we had two other refrigerators in the house so we were able to transfer everything to these two without losing any food. The serviceman came out and said we had a defective evaporator coil and it would be about $700 to fix! He said we would be better off to trash this machine and buy a new one for the cost of the repair. This is on a 4 year old refrigerator! How disappointing to say the least. He said Frigidaire is one of the most unreliable makes out there. Needless to say our next refrigerator will not be a Frigidaire!

First thing that needed replacing was the water line assembly. Then the flipper had to be replaced as there was no spring. The doors have been installed incorrectly resulting in the unit being off balance but as we didn’t notice it within 30 days of purchase and it is deemed cosmetic, they will not fix it. Doesn’t matter that we noticed it within 30 days of actually using it. Now it randomly makes a loud buzzing noise which apparently is “normal” however does wake you up at night! Customer Service was dismal, no attempt to make any exceptions. Nice quality control coming out of the factory, guess we will be purchasing the extended warranty... They stated that because it is past the one-year warranty they will not do anything. It doesn’t matter that I have documentation that this issue happened within the first year and that we have been working with the retailer for a year and a half to try to get it fixed. Their solution was that we pay to get it repaired and after 30 days if there are no further issues they would be so kind to let us purchase an extended warranty. Make a long story short, this has happened about every 4-5 months since the day we bought it. We even purchased an extended warranty, called customer support, but they wouldn't do anything.

The last repairman that came out told my mom that Frigidaire is aware of the defect, but they'll never admit it. He even specifically informed my mom that this issue started happening when Electrolux merged with Frigidaire. Electrolux started using some sort of a digital part, whereas Frigidaire was using the analog part that prevented the ice from building up. I know many others are and have been experiencing the same issue I’ve been having since my mom bought the fridge. We bought a Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator in June of 2016 to compliment a complete kitchen renovation. Here we are in January of 2019, 2-1/2 years later faced with $1000 in repairs. The refrigerant has leaked out and the refrigerator and it will not longer cool adequately. We called the service department at the dealer where bought it. They looked at the issue and said it could not be fixed. After lengthy non-committal discussions with Frigidaire service, they insisted that we use a different company to inspect the refer. We had to pay for the $95 service call. This company found that the unit could be fixed for $890. This is to repair the freon leak and also includes the parts and labor to replace the control panel and display which had also failed. So we will spend more than $1000 to keep this supposedly "high quality" appliance running.

I am very tempted to just scrap it but we already paid $135 to recharge the freon by first repairman and then another $95 to get the correct diagnosis. Frigidaire tells us "there is nothing they can do". Well, there is something I can do, and that is to be very sure that every place that I can find where I can review Frigidaire gets the facts about this company. They will not stand behind their product. They will duck taking any responsibility and will stick it to you when their crappy product fails.

I try to buy American, but in return I expect the quality and service that that implies. You are much better off buying a Korean product like LG or Samsung or even some Chinese manufactured appliance than buying Frigidaire. At least you know the quality is suspect and you don't feel so bad when you have to chuck it after a few years. Shame on Frigidaire, they are driving business and jobs away from America buy not providing the quality and especially the service that we should expect from and American company. I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery bottom-freezer refrigerator in 2016. Less than a year later, the door ice-maker stopped working. They put in a back panel to fix problem. Was told this is a common problem with this fridge. Towards end of 2018, ice maker broke down again. Fortunately, I had an extended warranty. The repairman came out twice, replaced front panel, but that did not fix the problem. I called extended warranty for a different repair center, since the first guy appeared to be at a loss. Weeks later, another repairman came, ordered a new bottom panel and installed it some weeks later. However, he found that another part was still needed. When this part arrives, fridge will have to be turned off 48 hours. During that time I will have to clear everything out of fridge & freezer, and we will have to eat out.

I called Frigidaire (Electrolux). Given the defective nature of this ice maker, I wanted a free extended warranty for at least another year. That didn't seem too much to ask, given all the time and money this fridge has already cost me. And with its track record, the ice maker will likely break down again. They would just do 6 months. After that, I will be forced to continue purchasing extended warranties so I don't have to pay expensive repairs on a fridge that has an obviously poorly designed ice maker that will keep breaking down. Frigidaire knew this model had a problem with the ice maker, yet continued to sell it. My advice: Don't be fooled by its good looks. This fridge is a lemon. Also, Frigidaire is no longer the company it once was. They build junk, and then make money from selling extended warranties.

I have been trying to get this fixed for the past 2 1/2 years! No one knows how to fix it. It decides to make ice every so often and then stops. Maybe it will make ice for a couple of trays, maybe for a day, maybe for a week, maybe for a month--it's anybody's guess. Currently it is not working again.

When the last repairman came out a week ago he replaced the icemaker unit, which was done once before to correct this problem. This did not work again. I have had repairmen out 7 times to work on this and no one can fix it. I have called Frigidaire, who wiped their hands of the problem. They may as well have said "Tough luck, Sucker. You bought it and now we wash our hands of you." They were not interested in this problem for a unit with their name on it.

This sounds like what a previous person said was wrong with her icemaker, who has the Gallery model with the fridge on top that contains the icemaker and freezer on the bottom of the fridge. When the last repairman came out we noticed a wet spot on the back of the fridge right behind the icemaker where it was wet and starting to rust. I asked him about it, and because he did not know what to do, he said he did not think it was a problem. But, this may be exactly what the problem is as Frigidaire does not insulate the unit properly apparently.

I know Frigidaire knows what is wrong, but refuses to fix it because they have turned so many units out it would cost them some money to fix it. Now I have a rusting back to my fridge and it is being caused by this icemaker. I will never, ever buy another Frigidaire product as Frigidaire does not back what they are selling to customers. I am no longer a Frigidaire customer and hope people do their research before spending their hard earned money with this non-caring company. I bought a Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator/freezer in April of 2016. Under the 1 year warranty. Within a fourteen-month period, the ice maker had to be replaced twice and the auger replaced once (it would stop producing ice just about every 6 months). We were told by the repair technician that the seals were not very good so the last time he came to replace the ice maker, he double sealed it, which worked for about a year.

I purchased a three-year extended warranty June 24, 2017 for $310.37. Then, in August of this year (2018) the ice maker stopped working again. It is now December 22, 2018 and they had yet to repair the ice maker. After the first call for repair, in August, the vendor they use, A&E send a technician out who looked at the back of there refrigerator and said the problem was sub-par insulation. He said they use a cheap foam which expands and contracts but degrades quickly. He said there is no way to open the back of the refrigerator to replace it either. He put caulking on the back of the refrigerator and left (didn't replace the broker ice maker).

That did not work so I placed another call for service a few weeks later. The A&E technician sent a text and said there would be a $99.00 service fee and we would have to pay for any parts used. He said he was told it was not covered under warranty. We contacted them and told them it was covered and it was Electrolux who sent the dispatch for repair. A&E canceled the visit. We called Electrolux and explained what happened and they said they would send another technician out. He came but informed me first that there would be a $99.00 service fee and I would have to pay for any parts used, I told him no and explained that this happened before and it is covered. He said he would have to leave if I didn't pay the service fee (he didn't even bother to call his office or Electrolux to confirm coverage). He left without repairing the unit as I refused to pay.

I contacted Electrolux Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, and explained what happened again and spoke with a representative, Jorge. Jorge said he would look into it and follow-up with me in a day or two. He insisted this was not their problem but, that it was a problem with their repair vendor, A&E. He said he couldn't issue another work order / dispatch ticket until he was able to look at the technician's report from the visit. He sent me an email to me on Monday stating he had still not heard from the technician and he would follow-up again in a day or two.

I didn't hear from him again until Friday, when he told me he issued another work order / dispatch to A&E for the following Tuesday, December 4. He attached a copy of the dispatch ticket showing the repair was covered under warranty so if the repair technician told me again that I would have to pay a service charge, I could show him the ticket. My fiancé is self employed and cleared his schedule for December 4 to be home the whole day for the technician, missing a day's worth of wages. No one showed-up. We never received a phone call, text or email either. I sent an email to Jorge and to this day, have never received a reply from him.

I called Electrolux again (December 17, 2018) and asked to speak with a supervisor. I spoke with Corporate Supervisor Webster and he assured me he would find out what was happening and get someone out to service the refrigerator/freezer. I asked him for a direct phone number for him so I wouldn't have to spend twenty minutes on the phone trying to reach him. He gave me his direct phone number and extension. He looked into the matter and apologized and said the error was theirs, that the dispatch ticket did not reflect the repair was covered under warranty. He said he would issue another work order / dispatch ticket for A&E to come out on Friday, December 21, 2018. He said he would follow-up with me in one to two days (he never did).

My fiancé (not me) received a voice mail message on his cell from Electrolux on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 (not from Webster though) stating a dispatch has been sent to A&E and we should be hearing from them soon, and gave us the dispatch number. It is now Saturday, December 22, 2018 and we have not heard from A&E or Electrolux again and no repair technician came yesterday.

I called Webster Friday, December 21, 2018 to follow-up with him and it went into his voicemail inbox. I left a message with my call back number. I contacted a local news consumer team who has contacted Electrolux twice in as many weeks and neither they nor I have received any communications from Electrolux. I also did a little research online and found that Electrolux settled a class-action lawsuit for the defective ice makers just months before I purchased the refrigerator/freezer so I know they are well aware of the problem.

I purchased a four piece Frigidaire appliance set earlier this year. The ice maker has not worked in 2 months. They have sent someone out to repair it three times now and it still doesn’t work. They are sending another repairman out to fix it again. The problem is the computer board says it’s working, but it never makes ice, so they will not replace it. The staff is extremely rude including the supervisors and say as long as they send someone out to my house they are doing what they need to do yet I haven’t had ice in two months. Buyers beware of this brand as it’s not what it used to be and the customer service is the worst I’ve ever dealt with.

Just bought a stainless steel Frigidaire from Lowe's in July 2017. Terrible ice maker. Have to either shake the hell out of the ice bin or take it out and empty contents to stop clogs every week. Upset because people work too hard for their money only to have a manufacturer sell a product that is a figment of their imagination...wish I could do that in the real world, sell ** craftsmanship, hell I'd be a millionaire too.

We replaced a GE fridge of 21 years with this one. Although our old GE was still working well, it was getting quite noisy. So, we purchased this Frigidaire, only to discover that, even brand new, this unit is even more noisy than the old one, with a few added 'cracks and gurgles' besides! Their warranty sucks, and it is already obvious that this crap won't even last a quarter of the time our GE did. What a bad investment!! Not Happy!!

I am a disabled person with limited abilities. I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator model # FGHF2366PFAA, SN # 4A6020366PFAA on 7/13/2016 for $1698.00 along with the extended three year warranty which cost an additional $125.00. Problems with the unit started occurring September, 2017. Below is a list indicating the problems and dates technicians have come to service the unit:

Date, Company, Reported Problem, Remedy: 9/18/2017, Quality Repairs, Control display not working, installed new display, not dispensing ice cubes. 12/-/2017, Dial Appliance Service, Refrigerator/Freezer not cooling. 12/20/2017, Quality Repairs, Refrigerator/Freezer not cooling, added Freon. 5/4/2018, RTV Appliance Service, Refrigerator leaking water from bottom, Released some Freon. 6/19/2018, Dial Appliance, Freezer not cooling, Adjusted the compressor. 7/25/2018, Aid Audio & TV Service, Control Display not working, Installed a new display. 11/28/2018, PLA Service Center, Freezer not cooling, Tech states compressor died. He stated it would take a week to get the part.

Lastly, the warranty company denied the new compressor base on the tech saying the refrigerator was infested which is not what he said while in my presence. No one at the warranty company or service company couldn’t tell me what was the nature of the infestation. Asurion stated that I needed to get an exterminator and have them clear the problem. They refused to give me the findings in writing. I knew this was all a ploy, but I followed instructions regardless. Needless to say, the exterminator found no infestation of any kind. I have asked the warranty company to be reimbursed for the exterminating service. There was approximately two other service calls for the same problems. However the techs gave me no paperwork and I fail to write it down.

In 1/2018 Asurion, the warranty company, tried to compensate the situation by sending me a mini refrigerator and a check for $300.00 to replace lost food, when in fact the cost was far more also, not a solution to the problem. I contacted the warranty company and with minimal questions they said they were sending another technician on 12/13/2018. I am being treated unfairly. It was obvious that the compressor was defected and a simple fix was avoided. Please advise.

I bought a Frigidaire refrigerator in February 2018 and started having problems 6 months later. According to the tech person who came out, who has no ties to Frigidaire and is a reputable service, says it is a coolant leak. He recommended requesting a new refrigerator. He's tried to find the leak on Oct 10, Oct 17, Oct 26 and Nov 15 and can't find it. Now Frigidaire wants to solder in different tubes vs giving me a new fridge and will only extend my warranty six months. When I spoke to the warranty department, they said the warranty only covers parts, not a new refrigerator. I've lost time off of work and food in my fridge which they will not pay me for. My past refrigerators have lasted me at least 10 years. I will NEVER buy FRIGIDAIRE again. Beware my friends!!!

The refrigerator and the dishwashers are very cheap. And when they break all they want to do is tell you where you can purchase the replacement parts. Even during the warranty period. I would strongly not recommend anyone purchasing any of the Frigidaire products.

Near impossible to schedule. Lost time from work waiting on repair. Food went spoiled. DO NOT BUY this brand! Customer service is nonexistent; the staff and supervisor are incompetent.

Never again will I purchase anything from Frigidaire or Big Sandy! It's only 5 years old and cost 2200.00!!! We were on a long weekend vacation when we came home to it not working. Threw everything out and defrosted my frost free refrigerator, then it ran for 2 more weeks and we are back to square 1. They want me to pay 110.00 for diagnostics and 80 bucks an hour for the repair guy. No way.

Have a two year old refrigerator that I purchased for a new home along with six other products. I wouldn't have another Frigidaire product in my house if they gave it to me! About two months after getting the refrigerator, we started having trouble with the ice maker. I took out an extended warranty (another big mistake). I call Frigidaire and they sent a "so called repairman" out to look at the ice maker. He ended up putting a string and taping it up on the back of the refrigerator to hold up a water line. Had to call him back because ice maker still not making ice.

Called Frigidaire again and they sent out another service repairman. This guy seemed like he knew what he was doing and repaired what he thought the problem was. Still not working. Called Frigidaire again. "We won't send that repair person again, we will send someone else". So repairman #3 comes out and puts in a new ice maker. He left with a comment, "If this don't work, we will call Frigidaire and get a replacement order number and deem this unrepairable". Still not working. Called again and sent the same repairman. "Too late in day to call Frigidaire, will come back next Wednesday, have to be in your house when I call them".

We were out of town on Wednesday and had to have a family member leave work and come to be at our house to let repairman in. He gets here, makes a phone call and advises "he is going to order still another ice maker and will call when it comes in to come back and install it." What a joke. I have called customer service and the response has been everything but polite. We are Sr. citizens and don't need this kind of stress. We really thought we could rely on Frigidaire products, but never again and our friends will know it!

For a family I would not recommend. Upper ice maker takes 5 days to fill up. Lower ice maker takes 4 days to fill up. Not user friendly for children’s cups or water bottles. Water tray does not stay stable. Water drips all the time fills tray up overnight. Temperature control on door does not show changing temperature of fridge or freezer. POOR DESIGN.

This is my first Frigidaire refrigerator and I was excited because of the cool name. But within two months, I got ice in the motor, and the refrigerator door gasket was coming off the door. The repair guy unfreeze the ice in the motor and declared the door gasket rotten and needed to be replaced. However, within the next one and a half year, I had to call them 7 times because the gasket kept coming off. Different repair guy tried different things -- lubricant on the gasket, extra sealant on the door side, replaced the gasket and finally replacing the whole doors, both the top and bottom one.

I called Frigidaire to ask for a new one but they cited their usual policy and refused. Now almost three years old, the gasket came off again, the Frigidaire warranty finally had ran out and under the Lowe's warranty, they said the problem was my fault and refused to cover the repair because of the history of how many times the gasket had problem!

Purchased this refrigerator on 9-8-18, less than 1 month later the ice maker started to make less and less ice. Now 2 months since purchased the entire fridge stopped working. Call service and they set up an appointment for the very next day (today). Tech advised the compressor and electrical boards are dead. He would order the parts today and let me know when they come in. I'll keep you posted as to the repair. But, based on the other comments I hope I haven't wasted my $1K.

We purchased a Frigidaire Professional fridge 6 month ago. Both crisper drawers are now broken and unable to be used. The plastic moulding that holds the wheel in place that allows the bins to move in and out had cracked and broken off. Called customer service and advised as to the issue. I was told this is cosmetic and not covered under the warranty. How a defective shelf moulding and broken wheel are cosmetic is beyond me. This refrigerator has been well cared for and used correctly in one home, this is not an overuse issue. Don’t be fooled, do not waste your money, this should not happen to a 6 month old fridge.6
