We live around the corner from the Four Seasons Sunrooms showroom and their sales guy convinced me that their stuff would be warmer and better insulated than what Home Depot would have. They replaced a glass sliding door and they expanded. Also, I had the regular windows and they put in place of it a bay window. So they did some construction and made a bigger opening. They did a decent job. The slider was fine but the window was more drafty than I anticipated. Also, I thought at first that some of the drywall works but they came back twice and corked it. I was happy with that. They were quick and they did the whole thing in a day.

Four Seasons Sunrooms & Windows' installers worked really well and everything was very smooth. They were very polite too. They came in the morning and they left in the afternoon at about 3:00. I'm happy with the windows because they made the noise go down so we don't hear the noise like we used to. Also, it doesn't get as cold or as warm in here. I would recommend them.

Knowing they had enough experience, I got Four Seasons to help me with my sunroom. The sales rep came and explained everything to me. Everything was clear and it was easy to reach them. The rep I had left the company so the job was handed over to a different guy but still that was good. It was a seamless transition. The contractors were good as well. They explained everything that I needed to know and the quality of the work they did was good. Four Seasons has been reliable and it's been a good experience with them.

The porch we had was a half porch at the back. It was wide open and it had some screening, but it was crappy. So, we wanted a porch that we could live with and we looked at several different porch people to see if we could get somebody to come in. Four Seasons Sunrooms people were the only ones who would do it and we liked the idea of it being totally glass. The sales rep came and he gave us a number that was much higher than we thought, but we decided to go ahead. Four Seasons brought electricians in and they did some engineering stuff to meet Coney codes but we had to take care of flooring and railings and other things like that. We love the porch and it's great.

The base of the porch is block and brick and the people they brought in to do that did a really nice job. They suggested we put porcelain tile in there because it could have been unheated but we actually had it heated later on. Those people talked to the foreman of the Four Seasons group and they agreed that the new porch had to be a half inch or an inch above the old one so that the old porch could be floated and the tiles would end up across the whole porch being level. However, that was not conveyed to the masons, so the guy who ran the project for Four Seasons didn’t do a good job at all. The masons were about two or three rows before the top, and that was a major problem to deal with. And then when they were putting in an insulation package or the flooring, they cut it off one end because the flooring was 10-ft. wide and the porch was 8 ft. The other end was open and if they had left it like that, the floor would have been un-insulated.

I brought up the issue with them and they didn’t say anything. I had to call New York, who told them that they needed to correct that, so they did. Also, the foreman wanted to run the water up from this thing down across my patio, but I said no. Instead, I told him to run the water through a pipe that it was meant for. He was really difficult to deal with to get things done. We paid Four Seasons $80,000 for this fairly small porch and I would have expected a much more professional person. He came only once when we purchased it, and he never oversaw the project. The porch leaked on a couple of spots and I had to show them where the problem was. It was leaking around the door and even now, it leaks up sometimes in the roof. Four Seasons people came once recently and re-caulked but we still had the leaks.

I bought a home and I needed to replace windows. Four Seasons Sunrooms’ sales pitch was really good and I was naive because I was in a hurry. I decided to purchase windows from them and the overall quality of the work that I received from them was terrible. First of all, I found out that the sales pitch was misleading about everything. The quality of the windows was okay but the installation crew was very disrespectful to the rest of my property. They installed the windows but it didn't look good. I had to redo the framing. They stepped on the seals and broke the window seal. There were a lot of damages around installing the windows that happened. The major problem was that I needed to replace a few windows that weren't working properly and it took almost a year of phone calls, escalating phone calls and letters to get them to finally send somebody out.

Then when they replaced the windows, one of them was the wrong window so I had to wait again. Then when it was replaced, the guy completely trampled and killed my green roof, but I knew that I didn't want to get into another fight for another year with this company. I was so upset with the way they handled everything. I didn't even make any claim because I would not get anywhere. The people that Four Seasons hired weren't their people, so in the end, I should have just done more thorough research. I asked the contractor and he said the installers they hired were okay so I didn't go much further.

When they finally were coming to install the window, there was rain and the guy couldn't come from Long Island. They never called me, and I took a day off. Everything about it was a real disaster and disgrace. I really wished I had taken more time in order to get a better company because this one has a terrible reputation. There are a lot of reviews out there if you really dig and they will tell you that the installation customer service was terrible. So, I fell into the trap.

We had an existing sunroom that we wanted to refurbish. I called Four Seasons and they came and they confirmed that they had done the original one. The sunroom got a glass filling in two sides and it's attached to the house on two sides. They replaced all the glass and changed the configuration a little bit with the screens. The sales representative we spoke was great. He did an incredible job of just telling the products. My husband and I talked about it to quite a few other people. We were so impressed with the effectiveness of the insulation of the glass. The contractor was good as well. They were in and out in one day.

We were confident enough in the product, that we took the sliding glass doors off that went into it. We opened it up to the house and we took a risk as far as the insulation was concerned. We put on a radiant heat floor and added a heat duct because there wasn't anything like that in it before. It's not quite warm enough but it's close. I would recommend Four Seasons heartily.

We were pleased with Four Seasons’ demonstration of their windows and what they would do for us. We decided we’d have them replace our windows, and we’ve been very happy with them. We really liked our sales rep too. He was great. He was very personable and knowledgeable about what he was demonstrating. We were willing to sit and listen. It didn’t feel so much like a sales pitch. However, they forgot we're living on the Gulf Coast when they gave us an estimate. And so the rep had to come back and add specifics as they had to meet the code down here as far as the wind and all. We had to do a little bit more expensive windows. But Four Seasons still ended up giving us the windows for the price they quoted so I was very pleased with that.

Our windows were dry rotted and we could hear them rattling whenever we close the door. Air was escaping because of that. After replacing them with Four Seasons, we don’t hear as much sound from outside and we don’t feel any drafts anymore. It’s made a huge difference in the insulation of our home. Changing out those windows saved us almost half of our electric bill. I would recommend Four Seasons. The only thing that had concerned us was we had heard Four Seasons was no longer in business. Our windows are warrantied and what will happen if they’re no longer in business?

Four Seasons installed our windows three years ago. Their salesperson, Theresa, was very good but she could have been a little bit clearer on explaining the installation of the window. I thought they were doing both the inside and outside frame but they just did the outside frame of the house. The interpretation of that should have been a little bit better. Other than that, they did the job and it was a great experience.

We just wanted to get the windows at that time and the Four Seasons salesperson was nice and respectful. He wasn't pushy but persistent. We were going to say, "Forget about it." And then, he made a call and they brought the price down to $2000 more, but I still thought it was too high. The quality was very good. I just felt we could have negotiated for less. I would tell others to shop around for prices before making a decision. Maybe they could price match. But one of the things that the Four Seasons sales rep plugged was that they do everything with windows because they have different contracts that were meant for windows. In addition, their warranty was good.

I liked the options Four Seasons offered the best, so I had them build our sunroom. Their contractor was on time and professional. They knew what they were doing, came back when there were problems and kept me in the loop when I was having issues. The whole project took about a month and the quality was good. But we had an issue with leaking at the roofline where our sunroom and the chimney are. The sales rep was not really knowledgeable enough to speak about it and there was a disconnect between him and the contractor. But the contractor came out several times and worked on fixing that.

I called Four Seasons for the one big window that I have. The reps came, took an interview and measured. They told me what was going to be on file and how long it was going to take. Also, they told me approximately how much it was going to be. Then, they followed up right with an install date and I was completely alerted to the whole process of everything. The contractor ran into a couple of issues and took a lot longer than he thought because there was a problem with getting the other window out but the work didn’t cost anything. He did everything perfectly and everything went very well.

Four Seasons was very real with their customer’s feedback. I’ve had a project from people done by them and they follow up very well through the process from the beginning to the end. Also, if they run into an issue and it had nothing to do with them, they took care of it and it was agreeable to the original contract. It was a very good experience and I would utilize them any other time I needed anything.

Four Seasons Sunrooms have good quality windows and I like the ones I got. But I would not get them again because of the installers in the area I'm in. I was not impressed with them and they didn't look professional. I had window replacement done and when they came to put the windows in, one of the windows was wrong. So, they took that one away and it took at least a month for them to get the new window. Then one of the windows was broken when they delivered it and it took them a while to get that replaced. And when they replaced the broken part of the window, they messed up the screen and denied it. So I would recommend Four Seasons' windows, but if you're getting them in the area I live in and it’d be the same installers, I would not recommend them.

They seemed well-educated and were fast and prompt. They cleaned up after themselves well and it was a really great experience. We did a patio cover and the quality is exceptional. I'm very satisfied. They were overall wonderful and I would definitely suggest others to at least reach out to them and find out a quote or talk to them about the projects in mind because. Once we got the two of them opened, we couldn’t latch them back together so we got Four Seasons to fix it and they shimmed it up. Also, the bottom edge of one of the bathroom windows that you pull down or lift up was all bent. They came back and put another bottom piece, but it is now fallen off so they didn’t do a very good job on it. On the other hand, their rep who set up the appointment the next day after I clicked on an ad was knowledgeable and friendly. They also had a fair price, treated us fairly and gave us an opportunity to save money where we could. The contractors were great as well. The quality was great overall and I’ve been happy with Four Seasons ever since I got them.

Although the sales representative who started the transaction did not finish it, I had a very good project manager and the ladies in customer service were very helpful too.

The contractor was good as well. We had a few leaks but he came back and fixed them. We haven’t had any leaks for a bit since then. Although we had a very heavy rain recently and the water must’ve gone over because we had a little leak but it was unusual rain so I didn’t call Four Seasons back to fix it. I knew Four Seasons from being around and I heard that they did a good job so I had them redo my kitchen and I was happy because I thought that I was going to get a quality kitchen. However, I don't think the cabinets that they did were of good quality as they told me it was going to be. The guy who did the designing and measuring the cabinets was horrible. His design was flawed, and because he mismeasured, it messed up my counter. They had to rip out cabinets in the middle of the process and get new ones.

Then I had to have extra electricians come in and fix what their electrician did. Their contractors were able to correct the counters but I had to pay extra. They had to stop what they were doing and I had to buy more cabinets at the last minute plus recut the counter. I had to go back and get more tiles for the backsplash and every time I'm closing my vacuum cleaner, I blow a circuit conductor. But out of the whole process, I got a good repair guy who was a sub to Four Seasons. They had him to do the carpentry work and he was excellent. I've had him back numerous times over the past three years outside of Four Seasons. But, still, I am not happy and I would never have Four Seasons again.

They had agreed to do the greenhouse by a certain time and that never happened. I waited for a month and it took them twice as long to do the work that we originally agreed upon.

While their representatives were okay, they couldn't find any men to do my work. Furthermore, they didn't have a contractor. Instead, their workers were their own guys and they paid them by the hour. Though they were good workers, they were very slow. And then near the end when I still needed a bit of work done, I couldn't find their representatives anymore. Everybody had closed shop and disappeared. Right now, I can't get a Four Seasons greenhouse in Toronto. I wanted to do a little change on something and there's nobody available. While their management was good and the price fit, their workers were just horrible because they didn't work very hard and it took them forever to do anything.

Four Seasons Sunrooms has a quality product. They constructed a custom-made skylight for us and they had to cover a large area. So far, it held out through a couple of tropical storms and we didn't have any leaks or issues. We hired them initially since we liked their website and they were able to come out to the house and we were able to talk to them. But we never heard from their salesperson again and he never called to check how the project went. Other than that, their people were really good and very professional. We would go with the same people if we were getting any other external remodel or skylight again.

The project was completed about a month longer than what we were told it would take, partly because they needed to get permits, HOA approvals and a few other things. But the project manager did all the paperwork and permits for us. Also, the atrium used to be open to the elements and part of the project was that they were going to put a concrete slab in the bottom of it. They subcontracted out people to put the concrete slab in and they dumped their leftover concrete in our backyard so, we called the contractor out again. They came, dug it up for us, took it away, and dealt with it.

The room itself is wonderful and it’s the best addition we have made to the house. The materials they used are all very good. However, the small details are sorely lacking. There was a sealing problem at the beginning. They came back and fixed that, however, over the last two years, I have noticed that the sealant they used has discolored. The material they used as a sealant around the bottom might not be the best material for a sealer. The contractors were happy to do what they had to do to get everything sorted out. The owner, less so, but in the end, they fixed everything that needed to be fixed. I would rate Four Seasons Sunrooms very highly and I would recommend them. Four Seasons Sunrooms is not good. They don’t return calls even though I went with the most expensive window provider. When the salesman came, he convinced me that the people that did Home Depot installations were felons and that they would be dangerous to have in my home, and also that Four Seasons Sunrooms’ windows were better and triple paned. The windows themselves are great. They keep the house warmer in the winter, but the unfortunate thing when they did the installation was when we had a custom window in my bedroom. Because our houses are side by side next to our neighbors, I asked that it could be frosted glass, but they brought clear. Mistakes happen, but when they replaced the clear with the frosted, the window has never locked. I called monthly for a year straight and they weren’t willing to come to fix the lock, so my bedroom window still does not lock four years later.

They knew I was also redoing my kitchen, which I did with another contractor because I didn’t want to work with them, but they kept saying, “We’ll come fix it. We want to give you an estimate for a kitchen.” I said, “I don’t want your estimate until you fix my window.” I spent $9000 in a tiny apartment for windows and they gave an extended warranty. I am really angry and I would call them and say, “Please have someone come fix it. It’s a quick thing. When you’re in my neighborhood, come fix it.” They would never respond to that but they would call and try to pitch me home improvement services. Even though they had these great guarantees, they don’t come and fix it.

I’m a really disgruntled customer. I went with the better quality based on their promises. All my friends, after Hurricane Sandy, went with Home Depot over someone else and they’re just as happy, and I feel like I got duped. I would love to know if they’re willing to come fix the lock because when you call the main number, they don’t do it. I’ve tried calling the customer service number for years and I gave up about a year and a half ago. They have good product quality but horrible service and follow-up, and in my specific case, we don't feel secure in our home because our windows don’t lock.

The Four Seasons salesman was great and he really sold the product. But after agreeing to get the windows it was hard to get a hold of him. And we had already invested a lot of money and signed to get financed for the windows.

And when the installer was outside to install the windows we could hear him from inside the house having an argument with his girlfriend or wife on the phone. It was really loud and they were calling each other profanities. When he was putting the window up there were gaps and as when he was filling the gaps because every window was different I was thinking that he might not have been filling it up with the right stuff. It wasn’t very professional.

He was installing the windows practically one-handedly because his other hand was on his phone which was between his shoulder and his head. As far as him installing the windows correctly I hope he did. Also he didn’t have all the tools and the stuff that he needed to finish up the project so he had to leave. We had to wait for the stuff to come in and that took about two weeks. We kept calling, asking, “What’s going on? Why don’t we have our windows finished?” There were four windows and overall it took him several hours to install and he didn’t finish the job. Also because he left and there was only one person installing it while another one helped him bring the stuff. We got our windows done in 2014 but I don’t think it has been perfect because there are black areas on the sill.

Four Seasons Sunrooms has been in business for a while and they have a decent reputation. I used them for the kitchen south of the county, in the secondary home. I ordered $45,000 to $50,000 worth of cabinets from them and I had my own contractor do the work. The salesperson was very decent, but Four Seasons' workmanship was subpar and they did not finish on time. I had a lot of callbacks regarding the things that went wrong. The kitchen has to be outfitted very specifically. Whoever they had on the field wasn’t very accurate and things came in wrong. The cabinets were inaccurately sized and inaccurately drawn on paper. Also, something that had to have a windowpane in it came in solid. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong.

Human error is human error and I’m a very patient woman with that. However, they were very annoyed by the fact that they had to keep coming out and took their time doing it while I was in a hurry to meet a deadline on a house that was being renovated. They were very difficult to deal with and I was not pleased with them. There was one supervisor who was decent, but he was never available. Moreover, their office would make excuses and say that he was only in for two days or that he was very busy and he was backed up. It was just a horrible experience and I would never recommend them. However, at the end of the day, they were able to finish and I was pleased with what I got.

We had a hands-on meeting with the salesperson from Four Seasons. He showed us a demo of how the windows work. We were impressed with his knowledge as well as the quality of the windows and how well it was built. They're very easy to contact as well. The subcontractors came out and the order was correct the first time. There were 13 windows and everything fit perfectly. They stayed after dark to finish the job and were friendly. We’re very satisfied with the work and everything we were told came through. It was a pleasant experience.

We used to live in Long Island and Four Seasons is very popular up there. One of our neighbors used them and we figured Four Seasons has been around for so many years. If they had been lousy they would've been out of business by then. So we hired them for our windows and those windows are going on three years now and so far the quality is good. The workers were also polite and they worked from the time they got here until the time they left, rather than doing two hours then disappearing for a couple of days and coming back. If we had a need for services that they supply and that they do we would certainly recontact them. Everything went smoothly.

They were efficient, worked smart and would back up their product with service. I recently bought windows from them band since I got them, the house has been warmer and quieter. But when the windows came in, they didn't come correctly the way they were ordered and their representative said that if I didn't want them, he'd lower my bill by a thousand. I told him that I had to have them so, we made a provision to wait for the windows and I held back some extra money to make sure that they'd come in. It could have turned ugly, but he actually volunteered.

I just moved to North Carolina, and my wife passed away. I had a porch, but it didn’t have any windows in it. There was a lot of pollen in the spring and I got all these green stuff all over the place, so I’ve got to get some windows in here. It’s a little cool here, so I can use it in the springtime and work in the fall also. I did a bit of research and looked at the comments everybody else had said about Four Seasons Sunrooms. Their pricing was a little bit more, but I got what I paid for, and the overall quality of work is great. The sales rep was good but there were some issues with a pane not fitting in there, and he came right on out within a couple of days with a new piece of glass.

It was actually funny because one of the contractors that were sent by Four Seasons also worked for the company that did my big porch in Michigan where I used to live. And he remembered me because he laid 13 windows in front of the house that was by the lake. I was here the whole time that the installation team did my windows from Four Season, and it was a really good experience. They took the time to show me how they worked and they took that extra step to make sure that I was completely satisfied. Four Seasons did an awesome job.

We were planning to redo the kitchen and we wanted good people to come and do it. I had other people who had done some bathroom and they did a pretty good job. Unfortunately, we went on the internet and found Four Seasons. My daughter was the one who planned everything. Four Seasons have a very good reputation designing for sunrooms and good write-ups about them. They said that they're launching into kitchen remodeling too. In the beginning, Four Seasons were nice and fantastic. They did the layout of the kitchen and decided to go with that. But eventually, we found them to be a drag. We were putting a new floor for the kitchen and they messed it up. They wanted a shortcut and the floor's was not even. Then we had another guy who's a specialist from the internet. When he came in, he said that it wasn't done right.

Four Seasons didn't pay me but I've never asked them because I want to get the job done. So again, we bought tiles and did it. Everything was changed and was high-end. I spent more than $100,000 on that. They used the wrong people for the flooring but the other guy who did the cabinet which we ordered from another state did a good job. The one who did the granite for the kitchen also did a good job. But overall, it was a very bad experience. They prolonged this one so long and it was not what they quoted. It went down for a couple of months rather than what they said that it would be finished in three weeks. I'm happy with the Four Seasons but unfortunately, the people who worked with us were not that great. I won't recommend Four Seasons to anybody.

The windows installed by Four Seasons Sunrooms was a great idea and I really liked it. There were four windows that were replaced and the ones installed are very nice. On the other hand, I was trying to tell the installers that there should be some insulation in the hollow places all around the windows but they wouldn't go for that. They said it would void the warranty which I don't quite believe. As good as the windows are, if you don't insulate around it, then it takes away from effects. So, it was disappointing. They were rough on the edges and difficult to deal with. I wouldn't recommend the contractors. Afterwards, I had some problem getting the windows to close once they're open. I called the manager and he came out. He showed me and said that that was normal and I would have to be forceful. He was very nice and he said that I can call him if I have problems. I would recommend Four Seasons Sunrooms.

Four Seasons Sunrooms got some good references and seemed like they have an overall good window compared to some of the others. Their sales rep was very cordial and professional. However, they came in with a really high price and I wouldn't have bought it for the price they initially offered me. After the sales rep found out I was serious, the price came in at a reasonable amount. It takes away from the integrity of the salesperson. But I know that his job's to get as much money as he can.

I replaced six windows and whenever I bought the windows, they had to be ordered from their distribution center in New York and they gave me an approximate date when I applied. It was installed on schedule and did it in one day. Also, the overall quality was very good. The installers walked me around, had me look at the windows and made sure that I was satisfied with all the work that was done. There was one window that needed some additional caulking and they immediately fixed it. Overall, this is a great company.

My experience with Four Seasons Sunrooms was really bad. I would not ever want to even go and have anything to do with Four Seasons anymore from my last experience. It was a kitchenette I have installed for an apartment. The previous owner had a kitchenette there and they removed everything down. But I had to go through the application to get a CO for it so I entered a deal with Four Seasons. Somebody recommended because they said it's good. They talk a lot about this company so I thought, "Okay, let me try and use them." And from the beginning to the end, it was not a good experience for me. I just wanted it to be finished and get it over with. Even the subcontractors that were working with Four Seasons were annoyed with all they communicate because they, themselves, told me that it was their first time they worked with Four Seasons and they will never want to work with them again.

I would never recommend it to anyone. I’m telling an honest truth. The manager and the salesperson were really bad. I got through all the project or what I needed to get done. And they told me that they would have someone to follow up with the project to make sure everything was fine. They'll say certain things and when you call, there’s something else. They have these subcontractors that were supposed to come out and do certain things. And then I had to follow up on them when they did it but they didn’t do it properly. They tried to shorten the job and it was just frustrating for me, knowing that I get professionals to come do a job for me, and at the same time, I have to be following up on them to make sure they do it properly. It’s unacceptable. I personally would not use and will never go through Four Seasons again. I spent a lot of money on it and I really regret going with it. It’s almost two years and I’m still upset about it.

However, I had to do a lot of complaining once the windows were in and it was a month before I had someone to install them. They sent people down from another state to finally get the windows in. They were supposed to have a lifetime warranty but I don't have any contact with them. Four Seasons never let on. I would call them and they wouldn't respond. They were going out of business but they never said that so I ended up calling the national office and the concern eventually got squared away.

The installation was okay and we’re very happy with the windows. We put some big windows because our house is on a lake. They had to cut the windowsill and some of the wood around the window. We were looking to put together a sunroom and Four Seasons Sunrooms was one of the guys on our island advertised quite a bit. They came up through advertising and some of the research that we did. We installed a sunroom and I was very happy with it. There were a couple of disagreements on outcomes, which they glossed over a bit. The design was such that I had expected larger windows or more glass in the room, and while the glass amount that I had is exactly what the plans called for, it was not made clear that I was going to have a sort of boards or solid wall on top of the glass.

So, even though the design was exactly what they built for me, it was not clear when they were designing it that that was what I was going to get. Sometimes, when you see it in person is very different than when you see the design. So from my perspective, the guy who designed it focused more on everything else and never made me aware that we were going to end up with this foot height of non-glass and I would have preferred to have it all glass. The manager came in and spent a little time listening to me as opposed to the contractor who was here all the time but could not have the time to even hear what I had to say.

For example, we ended up with realizing we needed a step out of the room for the outside lawn. The step was a bit too high and I had to argue that they needed to do something different and finally, they resolved it by putting two steps, which was much easier to get in and out of. If it ended up being one step, people would have been falling off from the lawn into the room all the time. Overall, they’re a good company but if I had to do it all over again or if I had to give some advice to somebody else, it’s to pay a lot of attention to the plans because sometimes, that’s where the details are and I did not pay enough attention to them. Once you sign the contract, they care less about what you want.

I had a very bad experience with Four Seasons. I only wanted one room done but they convinced us to get more windows done than what we had and could afford, and we fell for it. Then we had a problem with cleaning the windows and the guy showed me again how to do it. Six months later, we were decorating and washing windows, and it fell out of the track. I called them if someone could come and they said yes because it was the first time. The following year, that same window fell out of the track again and I asked them to come but they were going to charge me $200. The price that they charged me wasn't cheap and to hear them say it's going to cost me $200 to put it in track was insane. The rep apologized and said I've already had one courtesy call. I said, "Don’t ever call this number again. I don’t ever want to buy a product from you ever again.” They called again and I asked them to take my number out of their system.

In 42 years, I’ve replaced the windows in this house twice and never had a problem. I would have kept the old wood, plain bolt windows that I had when I bought the house 50 years ago. Windows shouldn’t be coming out of track like that. I was told to hold it steady but I've been washing windows for 50 years. Now they're telling me I have to learn how to wash windows? The quality means nothing if I can’t wash my windows three times a year. I need more windows but I’ll never get Four Seasons again. They were all about making money, but I’m about buying the quality. They even wanted to put signs out on my lawn for advertising for 90 days but I'm not advertising them. I’ll get an Andersen window which was more reasonable and also easy to put up and down.

I always see Four Seasons as one of the top-notch names. I've heard from other people that use them too and there’s a level of frustration when you actually deal with the company. The product is excellent but the service is a bit of a surprise. They said it was going to take five days over a four-month period and they’re expected to be done when they start but the timing took so long. They did something in February, something in March and something in April and just dragged on which was a little weird. And at the end of the day, they wind up doing something and they didn't follow the original plan while not working to my benefit, but they got lucky that the window looked fantastic.

Also, something that's supposed to be ground level became a foot higher and there was no step to get out. I asked for a step and I got a wooden thing where it just kind of tacked on to the thing like a mobile step. It wasn't ideal but I'll probably build a deck off just to incorporate it. Besides the step, the room itself is excellent and I love being in that room. I've had issues with a window breaking which they took care. I also had the water coming through and they were able to come and seal it. Four Seasons is pretty attentive to the warranty that they have. I'm now happy with the product now that they are done.

I’ve had major problems with the sunroom since Four Seasons installed it. I went with them for their cheaper price and I got what I paid for. Their work was of poor quality. I had leaks in the roof and in the skylight several times, and I had a torrential rainstorm inside my house, so they had to change the roof. The contractor was very nice but he had to come out several times to work on the leaks. Then I had to pay $10,000 for the replacement of the roof even though the installation was under 10 years. That should’ve been paid for by Four Seasons but because it was installed by a local, which Four Seasons said was out of business, they wouldn’t honor the fact that it was done by one of their franchisees.

I tell anybody who asks me about my sunroom that I would never recommend Four Seasons. I am so sorry I used them and I would never ever use them again. I’d love to tear the sunroom down and redo it. That’s how much I hate it and how much I hate them. They don’t really care because if they did, they wouldn’t charge me $10,000 to redo the poor workmanship from one of their franchisees.

Four Seasons' products seemed similar to somebody else but the financing that could get me approved for was a little better so I had them install new windows in my house. Their sales rep gave plenty of information and tried to work with us up to financing. The installation team did good and I had fun even though I didn't interact with them a whole lot. I was working nights, so I slept the majority of the time they were working. But everything was done properly the first time. There were a few small damages around one of the windows but overall, it was a good install. The windows are good because it has made a big difference in sound from outside while I'm sleeping so I'm happy with the change.

I went online and I saw some examples of Four Seasons Sunrooms & Windows. They came out to give me a demonstration and I felt Four Seasons would be of good quality. I'm in Houston and from where I live, I'm close to a highway. It was constantly dirty so I wanted to enclose my sunroom, but I want to be able to have the room cool, so they put the double glass, cross windows so I can get some nice cross-breezes and it came out very nice. It matched my house exactly so it looked like it was always there. The room is beautiful. The glass and the trim and everything was high-quality.

Their reps answered all of my questions regarding pricing and made sure that I was comfortable with everything and not feel rushed. The contractors were awesome. They let me know what they were doing, kept my yard clean and made suggestions to me. They're very informative and they worked well with me. I'm one of those people who doesn't like people on my property when I'm not here. But they made sure that as a homeowner, I feel comfortable with them on my property. They're very well-organized and on point. There's a number for me to call when I got home, they answered any questions, came out and talked to me. I recommended them to my neighbor. They didn't know what I was doing from the outside but when it was done, she came over to take a look and she liked it. They're thinking about doing it as well. Overall, I had a good experience with Four Seasons. They did a good job and we loved the room.

We had several estimates from other companies, and Four Seasons discounted the build enough that we chose them. The sales rep was fine, but the contractor who came wanted the money before he was done. He got mad when I said no. I usually pay when the job is done and not before, and that was the agreement in the beginning anyway. Then we had some problems and he did not want to address them. We still have a problem with some leakage from the skylight. Also, the AC was too noisy, and it was found to be an illegitimate complaint because the air conditioning coils were too close and they were beating on the back and making this big pounding noise. I took care of that myself and I had to go directly to Friedrich Air Conditioning. We had to jump through a lot of hoops.

Although the people from Four Seasons were nice, it took a long time to get the system replaced. The contractor did not want to have anything to do with it. He said they've changed their name and they're not responsible. But he built the sunroom so he's responsible for whatever problems there are. That was very upsetting. Even so, there were still some people who were excellent and they did a good job as far as the building is concerned, except for that skylight. And as far as the room is concerned, I'm very happy with it.

Four Seasons was terrible. They sent people out here that didn’t know what they were doing and did shoddy work. One of them was mouthy and a smart aleck who didn’t put shingles right on my awning that matched the house. They were supposed to do it to match the rest of the subdivision and get it approved, and it wouldn't move with just the metal awning put up. Also, I was promised and even had it in the contract that I would get insurance on the awning. For my insurance company to get it insured, they had to get my wedding certificate to prove everything was verified, but Four Seasons never gave me that. It cost me $500 to get another one. I also got a leak in it right now but I wouldn't even consider letting them come back out and patch it.

I spent about $10,000 having my patio done by Four Seasons. However, they did a horrible job and it looked like an eighth-grade woodshop class had done it. So, I called them and they fired the guy who did it. They brought in a woodworking expert from California who promised that he would redo it correctly. But once he talked to his boss, they asked why would they want to do anything if we already paid for everything. So, he stopped answering calls and never came back.

They left holes on the side of the house and never filled them where they redid, so there were cut-out sections of holes. I had to fill in the large gaps they left on the roof and underneath where bees would accumulate again. I spent money out of my own pocket to correct them. I also paid to have it properly primed, painted and restored. It was a lesson learned and without a doubt, the worst experience I ever had with any contractor. My wife is still pissed off about it. We sold the house, so it's no longer our problem but I wouldn't recommend Four Seasons to anyone.

A tech came out several times but he couldn't fix it and when my warranty expired, they won't come out anymore. Based on what we'd seen, we thought Four Seasons was going to do more quality windows as some of the other ones we looked at were more plasticky-looking. When the Four Seasons team first arrived, the screens were very loose and they were flapping, and they took months to replace them. But when they came back, the next ones were still loose. They escalated to the regional manager who came and looked, and he said that there was a problem in the factory. The issue went on back and forth and we kept phoning customer service and the warranty. The people from Four Seasons said that the guy that did the installation said they were correct and that they weren't going to do anything else. Also, they put on the door backwards and it opened the wrong way into the room. There was also a problem with the seal and the door lock doesn't always work correctly.

For someone interested in the service, avoid Four Seasons because their warranty is not good, and we're not people that normally complain. The workmen were shocked the very first time when they installed it and they said there was a problem with the screen. The second set of screens was better but still not right. The manager confirmed the factory was doing something wrong, and they were going to get us new ones, but they never did. We had people come multiple times, and they'd look and say that it’s fine. I am very dissatisfied and we would not recommend them.

They had a deal where you buy the sunroom and they give you a limited option of styles, ceramic floor tiles. The whole structure from the ground up is all there and everything is supportive. But there is a subfloor issue where the grout keeps cracking which I just accepted it. Besides, they were attentive in doing the permits and being timely in construction. The basic construction and the unit itself are very nice too.

We had heard Four Seasons had a good reputation, plus they were responsive to our request for information. We also like their product. We had an awning installed over our back patio and its quality was excellent, but while the product was being installed, we had a little confusion. We had to ask for an accessory kit that would make it appear to be a pergola. There was a package that you could add to the roof to make it look like one, and it had extensions sticking off that looked like the end of a pergola board. The salesman had included it for us. He drew it in a little hand-drawn picture with the pergola attachments and gave us the quote. When the time to install it came, it wasn't included in the cost nor in the materials delivered.

When I spoke to the person who was handling the installation, they got it all fixed for us. They got it for us at no additional cost, even though the way it had been estimated, there should have been. But they honored what the salesman had said, the cost included. It was very nice that they stood up and did that. Even though there was a little bit of a confusion there, I was very happy with the customer service. Their contractors were excellent. They were very polite, thorough and cleaned up after themselves. It was a very good experience with the people on site. We had a small leak after it was installed, but they came back and fixed it, no problem. We haven't had a problem since.

When Four Seasons had gone away from a franchise to being company stores, they flat out sucked. We signed a contract on Valentine's Day, and it should have been a four-week project. The sales guy made a lot of promises. He was the nephew of the vice president of sales and I'm convinced he was on something. But when Jason showed up to ask to look at the project, he told me that they do windows and loom rooms, and not two by four construction, grills, and exhaust systems. I had to find somebody to do the two by four wall construction and we brought in a guy with no teeth and his three kids to do it. They were a disaster. The guy with no teeth sat in his chair and barked orders to his three kids who had never swung a hammer in their life.

It took them 4 weeks to do a job I could've done in a day and a half and they did it poorly. They kept trying to fit a round peg into a square hole and I kept telling them it's not going to work. Now Four Seasons is back to franchise inspections. I scheduled an inspection to come in and on the day of the inspection, the kids were supposed to put the hurricane brackets on the wall. The kid shows up with seven hurricane brackets because Four Seasons only allowed them one check. They went to one Lowe's and didn't have enough brackets, but had only one check. Plus they had to wait 'til they get another check from corporate to go in and buy the rest of the brackets. In the meantime, the inspector arrived and he's mad because he got called out for an inspection that wasn't ready.

Four Seasons was supposed to put up a stainless steel plate behind my outdoor grill to meet the fire code, but I ended up going out, buying and sourcing the stainless steel myself because the guy said that by the time they get company approval to do that, it would have been another six weeks. They said they don't know how to do exhaust things even though they committed to do it. My wife and I hung the exhaust for the grill out there over it all. The kids finally got out of here the 31st of August and the window and glass are fine, but the salesman finally got fired. He sold an all-glass enclosure 15 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. A check for $20,000 was taken and Jason announced they're not going to build it. There are four different levels of approvals they need to get permission.

At the end of the day, the company is not going to let them sell a 100% glass enclosure, 15 miles from where hurricanes hit. I'm sure Four Seasons lost money left and right, but unless they would do a standard enclosure, I would never recommend these guys to anybody ever again. I should've fired them after the 1st week when the kids told me they don't do the stuff I needed done. At the end of the day, the job turns out okay, but it took almost 8 months to build something that should've taken four and a half weeks. Jason the guy who did the work was a great and outstanding guy, but the company gave him no support.

Four Seasons seemed like a reputable company online. They came out here and sold me on how better their product was than the windows that I had here. The house was 12 years old but it would be upgraded and these fancy windows would make it look prettier because they fold in and open out. I paid right around 12 grand for the windows and if you paid that kind of money, you expected the product would be what they claimed it to be.

I had a poor quality of installation and we had a big rainstorm about a couple of months after they had installed the windows. They have a little thing that slides there but they didn't inform me about that stuff. The guy left it opened and so when the rain hit the house, the water goes down there and runs back into the house. We called the contractor once a week for 30 days but he went out of business for Four Seasons and it took three and a half months to get someone out here. They came back and sealed that. I had about 15 minutes of service but the contractor didn't see what the problem was or understand how the rain was getting in there. When it started raining again, it was still happening so I called back. Four Seasons found another guy and it stopped raining in the house.

The windows looked good and people were giving me compliments about it but they didn't know the problems that we had with the airflow and the rain inside the windows. If I had known then what I know now, Four Seasons wouldn't have come within a hundred meters of my house. I should have kept the other windows as I've never had problems with them. They just needed new paint. Besides, the contractor had also said that we will never be able to wash it off but the paint is coming off of there.

I needed some windows but there was one thing that Four Seasons did that annoyed me until I had it fixed myself. I had a double window that was two separate window sills. They left me with a window sill and a half type of thing. It wasn't set up right. We had a carpenter come in and do it the right way with the sill. I also had a couple of double windows that we made into one great big window because to make them two small windows wasn't really good. But they turned out to be extremely heavy. They're extremely hard to get up and down, to lock, to deal with.

The other windows were only single windows but they're lighter and they lock easier. They seem to fit better and they seem to be just as draft-free as is. I have windows in my front room that the contractor put in. I don't even know if they were brand name or just a generic window. But I like them a whole lot better than Four Seasons' windows. Other than that, the workers were fine and the installation was okay. But I wouldn't do it again with Four Seasons.

It was 2014 when I connected with Four Seasons by finding out sources of different window manufacturers. Their selling point was they make their windows better than anybody else, their final windows in this case. The glass is insulated and it has half an inch more airspace. To that end, it is sort of a self-cleaning feature, which I’m not so sure because it almost sounds like the king’s new clothes for the glass. I also like its lifetime warranty. The salesman also did a nice job. But in hindsight, I’d like to get a price comparison just to see how other ones would do.

We are in Houston and we had a little rainstorm recently that left a lot of people, including us, having to redo our homes. I’m getting to see firsthand a lot of windows in our home that I don’t look at because I’m never in that part of the house. As I’m seeing the installation, I’m seeing they're as clean as it can be to put in but there are certain little defects in the installation that mostly are cosmetic. But they were little steps that could have been better accomplished when they were installing the windows. Some screws penetrated from the frame of the window through the house structure right on out the other side of the wall and so they’re sticking out. It’s also sometimes caulked and not caulked, creating exposed bare wood that I should have been made aware of and go paint so it doesn’t start rotting away.

The protective vinyl film that’s on the glass wasn't shipped from the factory. It’s still on the outside of that window and it’s daytime now so I can’t even peel it off. It’s in the single-hung window pane, so it’s on the upper-hung frame which is fixed. I can’t get up there to just play with it. I happen to have another window made by another company. It was done great for all the comparisons between the two, and I don’t see why the window from Four Seasons cost three times more.

There's also the so-called lifetime warranty. Less than a year when I was observing the window pane, I made a point of contacting Four Seasons in Houston. Everything was shopped and sold and is no longer in Houston that we’re aware of so there’s no local representation. The manufacturer from their factory in the East Coast finally had a person I could talk to. After leaving lots of phone messages, the person contacted me and finally said that everything should be okay. But there doesn’t seem to be much interest on their part.

I have a sunroom and all the glass needed to be replaced. Since Four Seasons has the monopoly on curved glass, that's the only company I was able to use. My existing sunroom was done by Sun Systems and they are the only pre-existing sunroom that Four Seasons will replace because it is identical to their product. I have been complaining for years and every person that comes here says that somebody needs to come back here and fix it. But then I don't hear from them. They're really not good people. They told me lifetime guarantee but why aren’t they coming and following up?

It was $20,000 to replace the glass in my 35-foot sunroom but it leaks when it rains and my windows aren’t even flashed with the frame. It's shabby work and the guy who did the work was horrible. I was shocked that an international company would use someone like him to represent their company. After he left my house, my sister and I went to my backyard and picked up about 300 screws. He used the screw gun to take all the screws out of the existing windows and frames, then just tossed them in my backyard.

I’m going to give them a call but they know my name over there. That's why they don't take or return my calls. I'm sure it's going to be a big job for them to have to fix this and they just don't want to do it. One would think that it would be fine because they're a multimillion-dollar company. I don't have a good taste in my mouth for this company at all and I've heard bad things about them. I'm not a happy consumer. I feel like there's a lot of incompetent people working there and there's no follow-up. It's almost as if they only want to speak to you if everything is good.

We had a pull up sunroom that was installed in our house 30 years ago. It needed a replacement so I was contacting suppliers to find out what the options might be. Four Seasons could provide what we wanted. Their salesperson was fine. He provided the information we wanted. However, the installation was a long convoluted process. The installer was slow and we ran into a problem with leakage in our house during the installation because of the storms that went through. There wasn't adequate coverage in the sunroom and we also found out after the installation was complete that there were some issues with leakage and we went back to Four Seasons to discuss it. They did resolve it in due course, but it took a while.

We're very happy with the quality of the manufacture of the sunroom. We find it warmer in the winter than our old sunroom, and cooler in the summer. It's more energy efficient. We're pleased with the looks and durability of it. Prior sunrooms have been wooden, and over the 30 years, we had experienced some leakage and wood rot. We're much more comfortable with an aluminum frame. The locking mechanism on the sliding door wasn't operating properly and I fixed it myself. That mechanism issue is a Four Seasons issue, and my suggestion would be that they work on coming up with a different type of mechanism. Nevertheless, I would recommend Four Seasons Sunrooms.

We went to Four Seasons Sunrooms' showroom area and we liked what we saw. The main reason we picked them was because of the type of glass they use for the roof. So far, everything is good. There was only a few minor things and nothing severe. Although my son cracked one of the windows after he hit one of the painted glass with a soccer ball, I would just be putting silicone on it.

Other than that, I had a dispute with the sales representatives at the beginning. When they first showed us the demonstration at their showroom, they all had a consistent approach to how the product was finished in all the catalogs. We went on that premise and paid upfront for the architectural drawings. Then when they produced it, it was, from our perception, a lesser quality than everything that was shown to us. So we questioned it, and they told us that to make it consistent with what we have seen, it would be another $5,000. I refused. I wasn’t going to give them any money.

So we waited for a month and they ended up telling us we're just going to have to pay them the cost of the additional glass. It’s a visual thing on how the door goes around the perimeter and it doesn't have a consistent straight metal edge. They all had the windows on the side come down a little lower. So for that, we ended up paying another 2,500 bucks. There's also a lot of extra costs which I would have been appreciative knowing ahead of time because once they came to do the job, they had to measure the layout of the land. And they said from the size of the land and how much they’re expanding the house, there had to be a certain distance away from our neighbors.

Because we had to pay another penalty and then we had to pay to go for deviation hearing with the city, I ended up paying $7,000 more for that very small job. All of that was expected though. But in terms of the product, we’re very happy. The workers were very professional and everything was fine. Though had I known the cost beforehand, I would’ve never taken it on. It's just that it's hard to turn away when they have already started and you're putting your money in. Good thing, the quality of the material was very good.

I bought a house that has a Four Seasons sunroom and when I had to change a couple of glasses two years ago, I went to them. Their reps came here, did the assessment and presented a proposal. We had a negotiation and they delivered the fix. They had to change two rows consisting of fourteen glasses. The work was fine but they said that they'd have to come back because when you repair something and you open all the frames, something else moves. And when it rained, there was a leak somewhere so I called them and they came to fix it. They tried to upsell me to change all the sealants but I said to just fix whatever was leaking. That aside, I had a fantastic experience and I recommended Four Seasons to a couple of friends, however, a new sunroom is really out of budget for many people as it's kind of expensive. It’s a lot of investment because if you have to build a deck plus all the glasses and everything, that can go around 50 grand.

They came over and we went over the plans, what we could do, and what we could afford. The installation crew that came and put it up was also excellent and there are no leaks in the room. I've been very happy with all the facets of the whole construction. I'm a horticulturist and the room is my man cave. It's a nice sitting room. We have dinner out there all the time and it's been wonderful. There was once somebody who came and filmed the room. It’s perfect and I love it.

I got Four Seasons to install one huge window in our house which replaced our double French doors that went through a courtyard. The window is insulated, double paned and no heat transfers in. I contacted them about it and their sales person came out. He was very good but I felt a bit of pressure because he told me that if I didn't get the unit that day, the price would rise. So I went ahead and did it and put it on a credit card, which cost me $2,100. The contractor who came to install it was awesome. They were very polite, didn’t make a mess and cleaned up after themselves. I sat there and watched them the whole time. I had an alarm system, so I told them what to do to disconnect the wires, which they did. They then put the window in and did a good job.

However, I got a leak on the window due to Hurricane Harvey. It could be because of the hurricane and everything was so saturated. It was just a couple of little bubbles and then it ended up being a puddle. It wasn’t anything major but for something that has a lifetime warranty and shouldn’t ever leak, I want it to be looked at and fixed. I contacted Four Seasons about it and the rep that I talked to was very helpful and polite, but I haven't heard back from them yet. It’s still a good product and I was happy with everything.

There was a nice gentleman who had an awesome pitch about Four Seasons Sunrooms at a home show, and he was very relatable. There was the same connection and level of trust with being him a veteran too. When they came to the house, they presented us great ideas as well as different kinds of financing. There was a lot of pressure there. They said it would be $5,000 down payment, and at that time, they said they could get the work done at a ridiculous amount of time. My wife and I weren’t 100% and for us, we wanted to see the available options. But because we had been talking about and wanting to do the addition, it was a great time to do it so we agreed. We gave the $5,000 as a down payment, which I found out at a certain point was non-refundable.

We added a full-glass sunroom and a deck, which is awesome to hang out in especially when the weather is nice. But it was a long and arduous process. It started around November and the project took a while because the project manager said that they had other projects simultaneously going on. They would do the footing, and then they would come back a week later and do the framing and so on. I was very patient, but my project was important too. I didn't do anything enough until I'm at the point where two years later, the project is not yet finished.

I have called the local office numerous times and had sent videos to the project manager. There’s a permanent tub sitting in the sunroom because every time it rains, it leaks. It even poured when we had a hurricane came through. I was changing buckets. The leak has gone through the sheetrock because when it rained so hard, the water seeped in and it has gone through the paint. The paint has become bubbly which when it dried, it became wrinkled. I have sent them videos of the actual dripping. They have identified that there's a leak so they went up on the roof and recaulked it. They have also removed the flashing and added some things but it still leaks.

I called the general inspector and asked them the situation, but there's a long application to do it. There's still wood exposed and the capping needs to be done. They also got sent two left sides of the screen doors so it doesn't close all the way. It doesn't even lock. They flipped it upside down so it somewhat closes. They know that and I've told them that when they came in. They said they are reordering it. Aside from that, the shims are falling off. Also, the permit wasn't approved for a finish so now, the county said unless this is rectified, my addition is not in compliance. It is possible that it could be torn down and we are responsible for it.

I didn't like my experience with Four Seasons Sunrooms very much. They used high-pressure sales tactics and it wound up being more expensive. Talking to their rep felt like buying a used car, where the guy says that he can't make that deal and that he'll have to call his supervisor. Then the supervisor amazingly comes up with a $1,500 discount.

Four Seasons was available and ready to do the work so I went ahead with them. I got window screens, and although the work they did was okay, the screens didn't fit. They said they were going to order new ones but never did. When the guy came back, he looked at it and said that that was normal for screens that big. I got disgusted since it was not a hard thing to fix yet they never fixed them. They've functioned okay since they put them in but I wasn’t pleased with the way they were done.

Four Season's quote was better than other providers and they were more thorough with what the job was going to be. The representative gave us blow-by-blow what exactly was going to get done and he listened well. He came back afterwards to go over the information and to make sure about what we were going to get done and how it was going to be done especially that I had to order my own front door because we wanted something specific. Then Four Seasons did exactly what they said they were going to do. They did the front window, took out the bay window, put in a panel window and replaced the front door. They did a good job and were clean, neat and respectful of the property. We told them what we're going to get done and they did it exactly as we had asked for. If I ever need any other work done I would use Four Seasons again.

The first day the salesman showed up, he didn’t show up with his kit, but I decided to give him another chance. The installer showed up by himself and took a long time as it was a cold day. He got there a lot later than he said he would, but I gave him about an hour window. But I have one window for the back when they did the last one and I just noticed last month the frame is broken.

However the sales rep was very friendly and he basically knows everything. But we didn't hear from him. When he made the sale he was really nice. He answered all the questions that we asked him and he provided all the information right. But after he got the job and discussed what to install he didn't call me back to schedule the day.

I called several times to see because they were late and they didn't show us the windows. I called him about 10 times and I left a message. There was no one who knew why he didn't answer and he never returned my call so I was very disappointed by him. What they got to do is just be a little more professional in the day for installation and to coordinate the job. But other than that I'll recommend Four Seasons. But I’m not sure if he gave me all of the information that I needed at the time. I asked a question that would have probably affected my decision to go forward on the product because I wanted to know if their rooms were Windstorm certified for the Galveston County area where I live and that has a high hurricane area. Most of the requirements were from the insurance company, the community, and the city inspection.

But I never could got the room Windstorm certified even though the salesman said that it would. The salesman should have been a little more clear on what the company could and could not provide. The contractor was very polite though and tried to be helpful. A screen room was built for me and the work was good once it finally got done. I would recommend Four Seasons with a caveat to make sure that everything the salesman says is put on the contract in writing.

I purchased windows from Four Seasons Sunrooms about four years ago and they’ve done excellent work. A friend who’s a satisfied customer told me about them. She had a fire and they came back and fixed her windows. There were several unusual things that happened with her and Four Seasons continued to give her good service regardless.

Their rep came by, showed me how it worked, demonstrated, and the interaction was good. However, it was a little bit weird with the contractor. They started out with two guys and one of them got sick in the middle of it and went back to his van and laid down. Another issue was when they installed it, there was a cracked window. It came on the truck like that and when they unwrapped it, they saw it. But they replaced it. Other than that, it went smoothly. It seemed to have worked fine and the windows look very nice. They add to the value of my house.

My biggest regret was I put in the shutters on top of all the windows. I already ordered those and then some other window treatments but once I put the windows down, I don’t want to cover them. They’re so pretty on their own. But it was too late. Overall, Four Seasons did a good job and I would recommend them to anyone looking for new windows for their house.

After seeing the Four Seasons Life Room TV ads I set up an appointment with a local rep in late July. The salesman was very nice. He explained everything that was included in the life room product - automatic roll down screens, recessed lights, mood lights over the screens, motorized mister for cooling the room and electric heater. He quoted me pricing including materials and labor right out of the Four Seasons sales book. The pricing gradually increased according to room size. I settled on a 14 x 16.

They were offering financing 1st year interest free. I agreed to let him start the loan approval process. He sold me after comparing the life room cost with another company that had similar pricing but didn't have all the hi-tech features of the life room. The loan approval process took about 3 weeks. He did advise me though that it would take 8 weeks before materials would arrive and the job could be started. The was late August. After not hearing from them by early October I called them for a status. They advised me that their crew was going through training with Four Seasons and that the job would begin October 24th.

I assumed the training was regarding the life room since it is a relatively new product. They actually started the job October 23rd but only to install the posts into the patio which required village inspector approval. I noticed the post placement was not at the 14 x 16 room size I was expecting. The product specialist at my project explained the 14 x16 was from roof overhang and not room size. Inside I'm getting 13 x 15 so right off I'm not getting what I expected or paid for. The next day Oct 24th it rained all day so no work.

The Four Seasons product specialists was there guiding the 2 workers through the construction process but advised he would only be there until Thursday. After that they would be on their own. This was the beginning of my concerns. What troubled me the most was when the manager advised me that he wouldn't be getting an electrician for the electrical work. So after the job had already started he tells me I had to find my own electrician and it would be at my cost. I told him that was not right and it was never explained to me that the electrical work was not included. So they sold me a room with many electrical components then start the job and I have to scramble to find an electrician to figure out how to get it to work.

I found an electrician through HomeAdvisor and he was able to briefly discuss the project with the Four Seasons product specialist before he left. The electrician was told all he would have to do was connect the room power to the house service-which was referred to as a home run and the construction crew would run the room electrical components.

The product specialist left after only 4 days. The construction crew and myself were left guessing as to how to complete the job. The crew then made it clear they knew nothing about the electrical so the electrician would have to figure it out. I started calling Four Seasons customer service Oct 26 with a promise that a product specialist would call me back within 24 hours. No callback. After that 1st week the job came to a standstill since the crew could not close anything up until the electrical was done plus they told me a part was missing (or broken) and had to be reordered.

The electrician was booked the whole following week so nothing was done again until Nov 6th when the electrician ran the wiring to my home service. No wiring information was provided for the room. I called the contractor manager who was able to get the wiring info emailed to me so I could give it to the electrician. I also called the Four Seasons customer service at least 3 additional times. Aways being promised a call back by a specialist within 24 hours and have NEVER received a callback.

That's just very poor customer service. A new part arrived by Nov 7th and the crew came back Nov 8th and did what they could without the electrical being done yet. It was also noticed that only one of the roof panels had a metal conduit running through it for the recessed lights. The project called for 4 lights. Only 2 holes were made for 2 lights in the middle panel. If I want the other 2 lights installed I have to get creative and try to run conduit through the other 2 panels otherwise request 2 new panels and wait again. I'm still contemplating that. It also was noticed the electric heater provided is not pre-wired.

It appears that will need to be hardwired adding to the electrical expense. I still don't know how much all the electrical work is going to cost. It's now Nov 12th and the electrician is scheduled to return tomorrow morning to presumably try to finish the room wiring. Then maybe the crew will return Tuesday to finish. I have my doubts. So a project I was told would take 3-4 days is going on week 4. As anyone would be I'm extremely upset that the contractor representing Four Seasons. Sold me a room with many electrical components and apparently thought their job was to put up the shell and that it was my problem to find someone to get it to work.

I'm sure that the pricing the salesmen pulled from the Four Seasons sales book did not just contemplate the structure and excluded the electric installation. Getting answers from Four Seasons customer service doesn't seem possible after numerous attempts. They were also advertising a $1000 manufacturer's rebate during the month of August which at this point I doubt they will give me. I don't know if posting here will help put I suppose it won't hurt.

I had originally wanted wood casings instead of whatever it was that Four Seasons uses. That window came in at $6,000, but with Four Seasons, it came at half the price. The sales reps were very informative and polite but they wanted me to commit right away, which I didn’t appreciate. The contractor came when they said and they were very neat and clean. The price was competitive, they did a great job and the product was excellent. It’s upstairs in the back of the house and it looks great. Even if I put it on the front of the house, people wouldn’t know the difference.

The Four Seasons sales guy took us for quite a ride and there was a lot that went wrong. Right from the beginning, the guy said, “How would you like to have Thanksgiving this year in your new room?” And we fell for it, hook, line and sinker. But they never came to deliver the stuff until February and we were knee-deep in the snow. They were supposed to do the whole permit but nobody showed up for the meeting. I went, did all the permits and everything else. It did not go really well. I heard about the dumpster that was going to be for the siding and for the deck that going to be torn down. But I found out that they didn't take the siding off. I had to do it myself if I wanted to. I also had leaks and everything else. I thought the whole thing was done except for the floor but it wasn't.

Also, the lady that I always had to call on the phone was nasty. When I told her what I was told and everything else, she said that nobody should have told me that and said that it was not her fault. And although the contractors that came were wonderful, I'm done with Four Seasons. I could become a millionaire and they will never hear from me again. There’s nothing they could build to make me happy.

While we have enjoyed our sunroom for 5+ years, unfortunately, the 1) durability of materials, 2) customer service, and 3) actual utility of the warranty, force me to give this the lowest rating. I would recommend therefore, getting a sunroom (they are great!) but using a different company, if you plan to have your sunroom for more than 3 years.

Small issues (such as the locks on the windows breaking) started after a couple years, but most recently one "hurricane rated glass" pane shattered after being hit by the end of a rake - which was shocking. Then trying to use my "lifetime" warranty to replace the smashed window has taken over 6 weeks and we have no progress to show. This is a safety issue as there are small children in the home. I have been promised dozens of phone calls from customer service and received zero.

The customer service via email is unfriendly and disorganized, and as a business owner myself, I can't imagine if I treated clients this way. I have been given the "runaround" treatment (e.g., you need to contact the installer) only to be sent back to Four Seasons as they hold the warranty. Additionally, initially were unable to locate my warranty in their records (I had my own copy), which seems to be an attempt to force the client to prove their warranty status. When I disputed their interpretation of the warranty, they have sent me a highlighted warranty with the wrong date.

To speed up the process we have asked them to simply send us the window and we will install, but now they are charging us over $200.00 for shipping, which I will not pay. Meanwhile, somehow the sales department has managed to call me twice (possibly thinking that all my calls imply that I want a new sunroom?), so clearly, this company puts its resources into advertising and sales and not in keeping their current clients satisfied and safe.

The people from Four Seasons whom I was dealing with are no longer in Canada so there’s nowhere to go to if I had any more complaints. A gentleman who started up a franchise with Four Seasons in Whidbey recommended to me a man’s name. The gentleman came out and repaired all kinds of other things and he wanted to re-caulk all the windows that I had done in 2015. After that, I never heard from him again. I paid by the nose for this product and with every last dime they asked me, and I have not been impressed.

I was checking the price of all the windows and installing windows online when Four Seasons popped up on my computer. I put through an inquiry along with my information and then someone from Four Seasons Holbrook branch called me. I explained that there's some moisture in my window and they recommended changing it. Their agent went to my house and explained everything. The rep was good. He convinced me and we had a deal to replace all the windows in my house. He said the moisture is going to disappear with the new technology of Four Seasons’ window so I let them change the window. But after that, the moisture is still there, especially when it's winter. I don't know if it's a problem with the window or the walling in the house.

I called the Four Season in the Holbrook area here in Long Island about the moisture. And he said, "Let's check for another winter and make sure that you close the window properly." So, I did that but it's still the same and nobody comes to check it. The contractor went here for three hours only and said to just call the main office if there's a problem, which is the Four Seasons in Holbrook. I called them and they tried to call the contractor and let the contractor check the window, but nobody came to check it. I'm not satisfied with their service. Once they approach you, they're really good. But after service, they are not going to solve your problem. I would not recommend this to my friend.

We had used Four Seasons 20 years earlier when we had first gotten the house. This most recent time, we got a replacement for windows in a sun area in the kitchen and the overall quality of work was pretty good. We had tracks on the windows so we could close them like a shade and Four Seasons thought that they could make it, but they couldn't. So, we had to leave those on even though we had brand new windows put in, which was not very nice. The contractor did an okay job, but halfway through, the person who had measured initially did it incorrectly and they had to reorder a window so it took longer and it didn’t seem as competent. Four Seasons was expensive and we couldn't do anything differently because we were replacing something that one would originally put in. I would not probably recommend them if it was not custom and I would shop around.

The quality of the product that they showed us was what they put in the house. They have a good appearance and the function is like what they have said. We also had a positive interaction with their sales rep. Although, it took them two days to get all the windows in because we have quite a large number of windows. Initially, we could see a little bit of difference in our utility bills but it has been about two years since we've had them put in so that has leveled out. My Four Seasons Sunroom was built in 2004 on an existing deck structure. We enjoyed the use of the sunroom for a number of years. However, the local company that installed the sunroom went out of business soon after installation. This didn't create a problem for us until we had a problem with the floor. The grout on the floor cracked, tiles came loose, and the floor developed a 5 foot long sag. We found out that we had a problem with the flashing on the outside of the sunroom which allowed water to seep through the wall and into the foam insulated "SmartDeck".

We contacted two Four Seasons dealers within 80 miles of our home to request repair services. Neither dealer would agree to travel the 80 miles to make the repair. We also contacted the home office in NY and a field rep. We received verbal support from them but no action. We found out that local competitor sunroom businesses will only service existing customers. However, from one competitor and from other contractors we discovered that in order to repair/replace the floor properly, you have to dismantle the entire structure. While windows are easy to replace, the floor is not. It is no wonder that I cannot find anyone to help me.

Four Seasons installed our sunroom. It took over two months since they don't have enough people to do it. Only one person did the job. He came in two days a week and not all the time as he had other jobs, not just us. The quality of work done was okay. However, in terms of the value of the sunroom, with the money that they charged and the product that they gave, it was expensive and they took so long. We've done some windows in the house and compared to that, Four Season wasn't the top quality of the material they put in. The door latch got broken since the material was so frail and I have to get it replaced.

Also, Four Seasons didn't adjust the price when the city didn't approve one side of the windows. There can't be windows at one side so they put a regular wall instead. I mentioned that to them so they could adjust the price since regular wall versus glasses is totally different. Four Seasons didn't do anything for us and simply brushed it off. There's still something and I'm not sure if it's the condensation from the air-conditioning but they couldn't find the problem on that and what the cause is. I won't recommend Four Seasons to anybody. On the other hand, if some of the materials crack, they would fix it. They also fixed the leaking and resealed all those on top of the roof.

Then they give you an estimate on timing that is not even realistic. And once they got you to sign on the dotted line, they charge you. They said they're going to start work in May but they didn't start work until late August. They couldn't even get the drawings right. They said everything could be done within eight weeks and it turned out to be five months.

Furthermore, there were leaks in the sunroom after they're done. And once they're done, it's hard to get them to come back to fix anything. I had a guy contact them multiple times, but we had to do our own caulking. After I've used them, I felt I've been screwed but I had to go ahead since I've signed up and paid them a large deposit. I just have to grit my teeth and bear through the process. Once they're out of here, I'll never work nor use them again, ever.

We talked to four companies but other companies had the solarium or conservatory sunroom as one of their offerings and we felt that it was Four Seasons' expertise because that's basically all they did. We realized we probably would pay a little bit more, but we were fine with that knowing that we'd end up with a good product. We call it a solarium but they call it a conservatory and we had it done as an extension to our existing family room at the back of our home. It was part of a much larger renovation project and the contractors actually worked together so that the project would be finished at the same time. We were also getting something over and above the standard the building permit from the city and Four Seasons was very supportive in providing what we needed. They even provided resource to go to court with us to the city. We were so pleased with the overall experience of sales, the building of it and the final product.

The solarium looks fantastic but in May, we had a leak and the drywall has been damaged. We have buckets in the solarium and we are still trying to contact Four Seasons but there's nothing we can do to get their attention. They say the warranty system is down, their computers are down or they would get back to us but after a week and a half, we would call again. We've had a general contractor come and look at it, and he suggested to us what would be the problem but he's not an expert. We want Four Seasons to come back and fix it. After all, it’s under warranty and we paid a lot of money for this solarium. But they're not returning our calls, and so I would not recommend them to anyone.

I had them do an exterior sunroom and the work they did was absolutely phenomenal. The sales reps had excellent organization. They brought the product to show me how it was built and gave a good demonstration. The sunroom construction procedure was very interesting and I enjoyed watching the demo sunroom grow.

The contractors who came out to do the work were a guy and his son. They were a hoot and they were great. The guy was a Newfie and he was so funny, and he paid a lot of attention to detail. It was in the middle of winter and it wasn’t nice to have to work out in the cold, with the heater going in, so I threw in coffee for them now and then. I don’t live in that house anymore and I miss the sunroom. I'm over now in Nova Scotia and it would be nice to have a sunroom here too, but our place here doesn’t need one. There was a gentleman from Four Seasons who came through the door and our interaction with him was great. We were leery at first, but when he finally explained what he was doing, we knew that we needed the new windows. We scheduled an appointment and had the guy come out. He was out here for 40 minutes and showed us the difference between the windows we had and the ones we have now. The contractors that did the windows were amazing. They were polite and made sure that every single thing that they brought in, they took back out. They also cleaned up after themselves and if they had anything on their feet, they made sure that they took their shoes off when they came inside.

Four Seasons has very good customer service. They called back a couple of days later and made sure that we were okay and everything was still working fine. We even had some windows that were specially ordered, and they came in before they were supposed to. So we got our windows put in earlier than we had originally planned, which was perfect. We love our windows and they have changed our electric bill tremendously. It dropped the electric bill by a good $75 every month so it’s been wonderful. I’m on the Georgia coast and the windows have stood up very well as they have been through three hurricanes. Four Seasons did a great job and I have recommended them to several people already. In the future, we’d like to have our back patio changed into a sunroom by them too.

Four Seasons did all the windows of my house and it was unsatisfactory. A couple of my windows aren’t level. Half my windows are missing the white screw covers that go on the side because they never put them in. I didn’t know they outsourced the work to another contractor so I spent $15,000 and it’s not Four Seasons, it’s somebody else. They also said the windows were self-cleaning but they’re not. They’re always soapy. Also, when they installed my sliding door, they cut one of the bars too short because they were aggravated in trying to put it in. I had been trying to get a new bar for it and I’m not getting a response. They’re very difficult to get in touch with and they’re very hard to work with. To try to get somebody sent out here takes forever. I feel taken and robbed.

I was reading a whole bunch of articles about the product that Four Seasons make locally. When their salesman came over and showed me the product, I liked it better than most of the other companies. He was also very good and very knowledgeable. I purchased 11 windows from them and the quality is very good. I love it. The contractor was a little late for a month but when they finally showed up, the job was done quickly. Everything was done in one day and they also cleaned up nicely. However, the salesman made a mistake and missed one window, so when I had to pay the bill, I ended up paying another extra $800. But that happens and I understand. Everything went well and I would recommend Four Seasons to any of my friends. Four Seasons also do kitchens so my next project probably will be to call them again and see if they can re-do mine.

Four Seasons had a mock display at Home Depot, and they had a wonderful sales rep by the name of James. My husband and I didn’t want anything attached to our home but the more we spoke with James, the more we decided that we wanted to go in the direction that we went with. I wanted an open lattice and James was very patient and wanted to know what the purpose of it is. I said to filter off the afternoon sun which the open lattice would not have provided. He said that they did not do that type of construction and it would have to be attached to our home. We realized that we needed to filter out the sun so we had a covered type roof that’s all solid. It was a great opportunity for us to add value to our home and we love it.

We had heavy rain after it was installed and James called and wanted to know if there were any leaks or problems. Overall Four Seasons came when they said they were going to and they did an outstanding job for us. They also pulled the permit from the city and made it easy for us. We are planning to move and we’re hoping we could use Four Seasons again in a new area.

It took a while to get them resolved but after that was done, I was satisfied with the product.

The installation was nice and the windows were fine, it works until now. I’m satisfied with them.

We've always known about Four Seasons, and we called them when we were looking for a window replacement. We had called other contractors as well. They came here, spent three and a half hours, and after the tremendous presentation of why their windows are so great, they hit us with a $13,000 price tag for one bay window. And we were immediately turned off and felt like we wasted three hours of our time. We then asked Four Seasons for an estimate and they insisted on giving us a presentation. But it took more on a $13,000 price tag and when we scoffed at it, the price came down to $8000. Then, it came down to $5000, so it should have been a red flag right there. But we got what they were saying as a tremendously great window for a fraction of what they quoted us. They manipulated us into feeling like we got something really good.

We wanted actual installers from Four Seasons and it was specifically stated that we didn't want a subcontractor. They lied to me because they didn’t have their own installers and when they called, we found out the subcontractor was Tri-Pane Windows. The subcontractor was very rude. We had a big problem with the installers since we had a very large leak and it took them five visits. I asked Four Seasons to be switched to another contractor and I pointed out that they lied and told us that they didn't use subcontractors but they said that wasn't what they meant to convey. And after we had that experience, they even went on saying that Tri-Pane Windows was the best contractor and they will make good on what they did. The contractors kept coming back and sealed things off and said they couldn't find a bay window that it has to have a roof on top of it. All the woodwork that they put in was water damaged.

My husband and my brother-in-law reinstalled the trim and everything around the windows to stop it from leaking. I filled out a paperwork to take Four Seasons to court but we felt after everything that we went through, we’re going to leave it at that and just let all our friends and family know they were terrible. Four Seasons still continues to call for their marketing and they wanted to give us offers after I asked them so nicely until I got mad and I was begging them to take me off their list. I'd like to forget about the bad experience I had with them.

I liked Four Seasons' product and price. They replaced all of my old aluminum windows and they are good quality. But their sales rep was so persistent to make a sale. He told me I won't hear a sound or traffic if I bought their windows and that was a bunch of crap for the most part. I can still hear the neighbor's dogs barking, the car going by the house, and everything else around me. It was his biggest selling point and he needs not to do that. They moved fast though because our total waiting time was six weeks and that was decent. Also, my energy bill went down during winter but it's still around $300 - $400 during summer. It's also a plus that my big Boxer hasn't gone through the window yet because she likes to run and tackle the mailman in it. So although I was misled on the amount of sound that the windows would have a barrier for, I've been happy and I'd recommend them.

20 years ago, I bought my sunroom from Four Seasons. Over time, I had to get them back to fix a few problems. When they came out, they were not too happy about the original installation. But they fixed the sunroom and did a good job. I'm happy with what they did and I wish I had to do more windows. For a year or two after that, the sunroom was great. Then, about 11 months ago, it leaked during a hurricane and ended up hurting some wood. It did not do any permanent damage but I need to make a service call to have somebody come out on a short visit, go up on the roof and find out where this leak is. Apparently, it's a serious leak and it happens only under very heavy rains.

I had another leak when we had a tropical storm but I put a pot under it. I can understand that this water pours off of the roof and runs down like a waterfall over my sunroom, and I recognize that I have to watch and take care of it. Other than that, if I should sell this house in a couple of years, I'm going to have to get Four Seasons back.

Four Seasons built me a sunroom with air conditioning. The work that has been completed has been done very well. But I had a problem with the person in charge of the construction. We had some arrangement of installment payment as the progress goes on. I paid by credit card for the initial payment, and the next installment payment was supposed to be done after completion of a certain part of the job. But they charged my credit card without completing the job. I was very much upset and I called the top guy, and he returned the money by paying it back on the credit card.

Ultimately, he was delaying and was not finishing the wall side of the existing house, painting, and the other remaining work. I got fed up and used my own guy to finish that part. They paid me back for the expenses that I had for getting the job done myself though. Then we found out the roof was leaking. We called them and they fixed the problem. I also had a problem with the air conditioner, which they also fixed after I called.

I'm 88-year-old and controlling this kind of job is difficult for me. After they finished the job and I started using the room, I found out that they did not give the completion certificate to the county. Thus, the county is not authorizing me to use the room. I contacted the county directly, and a guy came in and he had to push Four Seasons to finish everything and get the certificate. It was quite a lot of experience and I'm not going to go through them again. I will not recommend Four Seasons to anybody.

Four Seasons Sunrooms' product sold me. I had some phone conversations with a couple of companies. Four Seasons and another company came in to speak to us personally. Four Seasons brought in a sample, and everything I saw and what was demonstrated to me showed that it was a superior product to the other ones that we've been looking at.

The rep was very honest, personable, and knew the product very well. He was my age and very friendly so I was able to relate to him. The quality was very good and we were very happy with it. The glass was extra thick and the air gap inside was bigger than any I've ever seen, which is better insulation. Plus, the quality of the frame of the glass was superior. Any issue we had was dealt with. One little clip thing broke on one of the windows, but they responded very quickly and remedied the problem in a very timely manner.

It took us a couple of months to get all the details worked out. We had a little back and forth on financing, which we ended up getting solved. However, the whole project took less than 10 working days. We were very impressed and thought it was done very well. The contractor was very professional. He was on top of everything and was very open to questions. We added one little thing that wasn't in the original plan and he was very open to that. We worked that out, no problem. He did a good job of keeping us happy and getting the product in. We had them cut one of the windows in half since it was configured to be a big old window. They did the framing and the drywall to make it look like it has always been that way. We recommend them.

Four Seasons had a booth at one of the home shows and then we had them come over to give us a quote. One thing led to another and we ended up finding a contractor. However, after the sunroom was built there were some minor problems. We noticed one day that one of the windows looked like it had bullet holes. We tried wiping it off only to realize that it was inside the two glass panes. It looked like the suction pad when they were moving it or tinting it. Fortunately, one of the windows was opened so they came out, took a look at it, took photographs, ordered a new piece and swapped it out straight away. Viggy, the gentleman who did the work was amazing.

When we also told them about getting a bit of a draft through the side here, they came, checked it out and then put more cork in. We also had a problem with one of the doors as it jams up in the summer. It's better in the winter so obviously, something is swelling. We have two doors on either side of the sunroom and the door that gets the bulk of the sun is the one that's swelling. It was a minor thing initially but it's getting worse. And my husband said we might have to call Four Seasons to take a look on that. Other than that, the overall quality of the work is excellent. Any little thing we said we're not happy with, they were really quick to replace it. I'm happy with the product and service of Four Seasons.

Four Seasons Sunrooms was Home Depot’s contractor that installed the patio covers on both sides of our backyard. Four Seasons’ sales rep was good but when I needed him towards the end to figure out what was going on, he became unresponsive. The person that was here to install the patio covers worked all by himself. I kept looking out there and wondered if anyone was going to help the guy because he had to dig some big holes. Finally, someone was sent to help him but it was towards the end. They had to send other people to come reinspect everything to make sure he was doing the job right and I wasn't very comfortable with that. What are they going to do if there's something wrong? They won’t tear it down. They're going to put a Band-Aid on it. All this many were abandoned and that's not good at all.

I feel it is left unfinished so I emailed them. Someone said she would call me but I never received the phone call back. I did a follow-up and I did not get the response. I paid their company to finish it and now I have to pay someone else to do it. I’m not too happy about that. I have some landscaping work being done at home and I have a contractor who is coming in to do some electrical work, and he's going to finish off everything for me. The experience wasn't too good at all. The posts are yellow now and I don't know if that's normal or were they supposed to be painted by Four Seasons. It was horrible and I wouldn't recommend them.

The Four Seasons Sunrooms window was already in the house. It's a greenhouse window that's on the front of my house. Since their name is on the window, we became aware of them. At the time, we thought about taking it out but decided to keep it instead. Looking back now, it may have been the wrong choice, since it's leaking. We've had them out twice to fix it. The first time, they came out and fixed it, but it was still leaking. They sent another guy out the second time. He took the whole thing out, then put it back in and resealed it. When we had rain last winter, we still had water leaking inside and down into the areas where we don't think there should be water leaking into. I haven't had the chance to get a hold of anybody yet because I'm not quite sure what else they're going to do at this point.

The rep we first talked to was available at first but then went missing for a while. He then passed us off to another guy who set up the time they'd come out to repair the window. I think they closed down the general office in my area so it hard to get a hold of people for a while. The windows and the glass that we have now have a lifetime warranty on them, but I'm disappointed in the service as well as the quality of the product.

I was interested in purchasing some windows but when the salesman from Four Seasons was here, I told him that I was going to hold off on my order because I should do the fence first. But he wanted me to sign the contract that day so he called their office manager, Mark. I spoke with Mark and he told me that they could also do the fence for me. I didn’t know they did fences and he said I’d be surprised with what they could do. My house had a four feet high fence which was put up in ’85. I moved here in ’98 so it was shabby and some boards needed replacement. I wanted a six foot fence and because I live by myself and did not want to have to go through painting the fence, I wanted vinyl. Their salesman was trying to convince me to put the same type of picket fence with the same height, but I told him that's not what I wanted. So he said that they’ll do the six foot vinyl fence for me.

I wanted something that would last a long time and Four Seasons was a reputable company. They also told me that they could do both the windows and the fence at one time so I hired them. But they didn't do it all at one-time. They did the windows first. The back window sticks but I never asked them to come back on that because it was something I could live with. Then someone came and measured the fence. He was a Hispanic guy and he arrived late in the afternoon. I was going out of town and I didn't know he was coming that particular day so I ended up leaving late. I had to stay and wait for him to leave even though I don’t like driving after dark. When he finished, he asked me to come out and look at it and I told him it was fine, but I was really rushing. Later, it turned out that his measurement was wrong.

A couple of weeks later, they had a sub-contractor come and do the fence. He came by himself and he did the best he could with what he had. But it's supposed to be a privacy fence but I could see through it. I told Four Seasons that I was not satisfied with the fence but I had already paid them and they felt no need to come back and do anything. I paid for it in cash so I can't even hold back to say I'm not making payment for anything. I sent their salesman a couple of emails and it got to a point where he stopped responding to me. That's when I decided that if they’re not going to talk to me I was going to the Better Business Bureau. So I filed a report then the BBB reached out to Four Seasons and gave them a time frame to respond. It cost me $25 for the BBB to look at my problem but it was important to me at that time. The BBB then told me that they received no response from Four Seasons.

So far, I have given up on the fence since this issue has been almost over a year. But I’ll give the facts if anybody asked me about it and I would't recommend Four Seasons for anything. In fact, three of my friends at work that knew I was having my windows done said that they’re also going to get Four Seasons to do their windows. I told them I had no problem with my windows but I wouldn’t recommend that they hire Four Seasons because I paid them a lot of money and they didn't care to give me satisfaction on the fence. This issue may not be that way nationwide and I may have been the only customer who had it. But at the same time, I was dealing with somebody out of Raleigh, North Carolina so it was the local people I was dealing with and they didn't seem to care to see that I got satisfaction.

I used Four Seasons 20 years ago in New York City, so I got them again this time to build a sunroom at the back of the house. The contractor working for Four Seasons was very good and he had an assistant who was great as well. Some heavy lifting had to be done and they did exactly what we wanted. But it took a long time to complete the construction and there were some mistakes made. For example, the sunroom was partially built and left open. But South Carolina gets huge rainstorms in the summer and there was one point where the base of the sunroom had been installed but none of the windows had been put in, so the sunroom was filled up with six inches of water. My wife and I had to shovel the water out as it was almost coming into our kitchen.

Nevertheless, the contractor stayed in contact with us throughout the process. The overall quality of the work was excellent and we're very happy with the result. I would highly recommend Four Seasons. We're currently living in Connecticut and we are considering putting a sunroom too at the back of our house in Connecticut.

I'm a very pleased customer.

Both the contractors were very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. They knew what they were talking about. Both were absolutely fabulous -- neat, clean, precise and on the job in terms of people coming to check on what the workers were doing and making sure that I was happy with everything as we went along with the project. Every nuance of the construction and what they said was what they actually did.

I know it's always a big consideration when you're going to build a room and Four Seasons is a wonderful business to associate with. I am more than pleased and more than happy with them. They have terrific craftsmanship and I could only have high commendation for them. Not a drop of whatever during heavy rainstorms and hail so they had to be doing something right.

However they could improve their communication. The fact that these were vinyl frames and cannot accommodate air conditioners was not brought to our attention. We realized we could not use the air conditioners that we have in the house, only after the windows were installed. I felt that that was the fault of the salesman and that the communication was bad on that end.

It was also bad in terms of the payment. They didn't really give us any notice about rendering payment. They surprised us when somebody came to the house and demanded a check before the job was done. It was a turnoff. But the work itself was adequate. Plus, the guys who they used to install the windows were fine and the quality of the glass was good.

Every time they schedule and reschedule, I was losing a day at work. Then, when they came in and did the installation of part of the windows, they wanted me to sign an exemption letter from Windstorm because their windows will not pass the inspection. I told them I couldn’t do that and they delayed my installation.

Finally, I had to call the bank and cancel the payment. I am so glad that I did not pay my cash. I paid through the credit so that I would be able to negotiate. The bank became a mediator between me and Four Seasons and after about four weeks of debates and going back and forth, plus calling the highest level of people in Four Seasons, they agreed to come and install the remaining windows. When they realized that they were not going to get paid, that is when their eyes opened and they tried to bend their ways to get the windows installed. But that’s not the way to do business. Those windows are still not approved but that was the best we could get at that time and we moved forward.

The best and the worst part was we are very close to 32 families who all needed windows replacement and they were looking for our experience with our windows. We jumped into this first and I gave a thumbs down to all of them because I don’t think that the guys at Four Seasons are knowledgeable or experienced in windows. Their sales guy says one thing but their installation or manufacturing guys have absolutely no clue what their sales guy signed up for. They were not customer service friendly either and I had to call the installation manager every day until I found some type of regional manager. They never listened to my feedback and even when I called their senior leadership, they were not willing to listen or work with me. Their price is not cheap either and they are one of the highly expensive windows.

Four Seasons should learn to understand their customers and be truthful. An average consumer like me has very less time to learn about glass windows and how they are being manufactured. So if their windows are not approved by the board, they should disclose that and why they’re selling it so that we won’t be expecting Windstorm certified windows from them. I trusted their salesperson and I was looking forward to the installation but our experience was a nightmare. It also created friction between me and my wife. We had to see multiple attorneys, family consultation, and a lot of expenses on top of what I paid for the windows. I wanted to be satisfied and happy but my experience with them was devastating. Four Seasons is so bad and I hate them. I will never recommend them to anybody.

We were down at the Royal Winter Fair and there was a booth where we saw Four Seasons Sunrooms. Whatever that was advertised on media, we saw there. We wanted a sunroom and we originally tried Lifestyle, but the salesman let us down. We then phoned Four Seasons and everything was great with their salesman. He was fantastic and knowledgeable. He walked us through the whole procedure, explained the finances, and got us the price. However, the use of a subcontractor was disappointing. He wasn’t very good and there was a big delay in starting the construction. We were promised something in June and nothing really got finished until November. We were told to arrange to have the foundation done and we were recommended a guy who completed it and did a great job. But, it was completely a long time before Four Seasons even came with the building materials to start the job.

Our sunroom is attached to the back of our house, so there was a patio door that had to be knocked out of the concrete wall that separated the back of the house and the backyard where the sunroom was built on to. The subcontractor failed to put a lintel above the doorway and he just got some old lumber from behind my shed and stuck it up there. When the guys came to check the work with regards to the building permit, I was told that the subcontractor's work was not right. There was also a mess in our backyard because of him since he stored all of the stuff in the back until the sunroom was built.

We've had work done to our house previous times already and it always seemed like we’re always stuck with a subcontractor who doesn't know his left foot from his right one. The substandard work eventually gets fixed up but it's really a stressful process while it's all happening. But everything's okay now. We use the sunroom and it's fantastic.

In the 80s, I designed our solar room to be the most efficient type of design in terms of least energy used. It is about 18 x 15 and a passive solar heat source for our home. We bought it from Four Seasons at the time and their service was good. They met my parameters of the design and built it according to my plan. I did all the concrete work, some of the woodwork and part of the construction that was done with putting the glasses on our solar room. I also did all the tile work and my relative did the brickwork.

The solar room does exactly what we expected it to do and we use it every day as part of our home now. In January when it’s 30 degrees outside by 11 o’clock in the morning, our solar room is 80 degrees. I open its door and it heats our house for four hours straight. We also have an airtight stove that we use as a solar system booster. So, when we're not running the solar room and it’s not producing heat, we have the wood stove which is fairly natural, too, and we have it backed up with a modern furnace system. We don’t have to heat our solar room with accessory heat because we designed it to have zone built-in heat into the type of masonry that we use. It soaks up the heat during the day, gives it back for three hours at night, then later on, we might want to occasionally just open the door and let the heat from the wood stove go here with a fan.

About 20 years after the greenhouse was installed, the glass disintegrated or failed to function properly. The rubber seals on the original glass rotted away so all the glass had to be replaced. We got the replacement glass from Four Seasons and they should’ve given us a big subsidy on that because it was their material that deteriorated. But the replacement glass has been in there for 10 years at least. They’ve done the work and for the most part, I’m satisfied with the major portions of this thing. Also, anything that we bought for this solar room is unique to Four Seasons and it has to come through them. I let them replace the glass because if I did it myself, it won’t be under warranty. This is the reason why we used them to do some of the repairs and replacements. It’s like buying a Chevy and you can’t get your parts from Ford.

There were a few little things that we weren’t thrilled with but their service center is not too far from me. It’s about 20 miles away so I was not in the situation where I’d have to go 100 miles to get service. So, that’s not much considering that they’re in a construction business and they’re selling just solar rooms. They also responded to my phone calls quickly and we’ve had the guys come to service the equipment. Four Seasons has been around for a long time now and there are other companies out here doing the same thing but I’m hoping that Four Seasons remains in business because I don’t know where I will get my parts if something happens to them. It’s hard to get rid of a solar room and consider buying a new one. When I purchased mine, it was less than 6,000 and now I understand solar rooms are worth 10 times that price.

Four Seasons' contractors have been here three or four times for different things and we don’t always get the same guy. They’ve come, done the repairs, and left them in good condition. They are very capable and competent people. At one point, they did something and there was a little leak. It’s a glass room with aluminum frames and some of the screws loosened up. The guy came back, tightened the screws and the leak stopped. So they met all my expectations for the most part. They’ve also tried to fix the wheels on a sliding door that I have for three or four times and they weren’t able to fix that. But it was not a big deal and everything else that they did was great. I’d give Four Seasons an A- score on a scale of that type and I’d recommend them to a friend.

We invited quotes from three different places. I found the quote from Four Seasons and the statement about the quality of their product to be the best one. The sales representatives did a very good job. The contractor who represented Four Seasons did a very excellent job as well as he went beyond his normal work to make sure that the work was completed on time and that the quality was there. However, the quality of the sunroom was not up to my satisfaction. After one year of use, moisture started leaking inside the sunroom. I see more than mildew developing in the cracks as a result of water seeping in and the seep holes are not draining water properly. The way the glass was designed retains water after the rain. Now, the sunroom doesn’t look like the way it was before and there is a lot of cleaning effort that’s required to maintain it. I called them a couple of times about it and if I had a second chance, I would not refer Four Seasons to anybody.

I have a very large Four Seasons unit in my house, one of the largest for homes. The whole back of the house is glass with Four Seasons. When I put it in, they provided great service. It was a great product and the price was fair. Everything was good. I recently had to replace the little glass panels and the price is outrageous. Three windows cost $3,750 and the size of these windows is not big. If I want the windows that are of the same transparency as those I bought 31 years ago, I have to pay a $500 premium per window. I can't match the old. I have a 20% tint to lower the UV light coming in. They have a new window now that blocks the heat from coming in, but has the total transparency.

That was the only the beginning. I said, "Okay, you guys have me. I can't go anywhere else. 3,750 bucks, I'll take the new windows." I was notified that the nearest person is in Bristol, Pennsylvania. That is about an hour and a half from me. They scheduled the visit and the guys came out. They put two glasses in and they realized that the third glass did not fit. This was measured by their engineer who came out about a month before that. So, I have a dysfunctional glass. These windows have a gas layer in between two sheets of glass. It's argon gas. When you break the seal, it fogs the window, so you can't see through it.

They came out a second time with that one glass, and it didn't fit again. I have not heard from them since. I paid all but $500 of the $3,750 because they said, "You keep the 500 until we replace the other glass." Now they've tried twice and it hasn't worked. So, I'm sitting here with one window that's fogged and I have two more windows that lost their seal, so I'm going to be back to paying something about $2,500 to $3,500 bucks just to replace those. It's ridiculous. They're taking advantage of me. They're telling me that the unit is horrible and if I want to replace the entire greenhouse, it's going to cost $185,000.

The old Four Seasons was great, but the new Four Season stinks. I'm told they're now owned by a company in United Kingdom, and the UK management is run by accounts, and I can see why. The customer service stinks. I'm still waiting to hear from them when they're going to come out and replace the window. That was three weeks ago when they came out last time. And I got to be home when they do it because they have to come into my house. Each time is an inconvenience for me. I'm an entrepreneur, I run my business. For me to take time to do that is costing me money. We started this before the Fourth of July and it's now September. They said the reason is they have to order it special from the factory. I said, " I didn't order a special window. You're charging me for this special glass, which happens to be your new glass." They said, "Well, you got an old unit, so it's a special order."

If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't have put a unit in. But they are gorgeous. We live on two acres with woods in the back, and it brings the woods into your house, with all that glass. You could sit there and watch a snowstorm happen, and you could have a fire. That's what we do. My wife and I did this, and we love it, but we didn't realize that it was going to cost this much money. I'd be happy to go to who competes with Four Seasons that can replace windows for Four Seasons.

The first sales representative came out and promised me everything. It went fine and everything was good. With the contractor we had some back and forth. They had promises but never followed through. We talked to the sales representative twice but the resolutions were all still the same. It took a while for them to come out and install the back porch. It was not done in the time they told me it was going to get done. I had to keep making phone calls and there were a lot of excuses as to why no one came out to do anything.

When they finally came out and did it they did it wrong. I was promised the base of it was supposed to be higher but it was actually just floor base so that was done wrong. They came back out and they put another high base around it just to satisfy me. But overall I get good comments and compliments on the sunroom. I have a neighbor that asked me about it and wanted information but I'm afraid to give her the information because I don't want her to have the same experience I had.

I had a sunroom put in years ago by Four Seasons and then I had all my windows replaced because they got messed up after so many years. I negotiated with them and they gave me the best price. When they started the job, I didn’t have to wait a long time before they put in the windows and their work was good. The glass windows are meant not to break and it would just spider out. And all of a sudden, one of them needed to be replaced and Four Seasons thought it was hit by an acorn, and it wasn’t a problem for them replacing it right away.

I had an issue with the crank that goes on the certain windows that open. The person that took the measurements didn’t take into account that the crank wasn’t going to fit because there was this border thing in my sunroom so there was no space to crank the window open. It took a while for them to get back to me on that. I called them a couple of times and then they had told me that some guy was supposed to come, but he didn’t show up, which was the worst part. But otherwise, the guys were nice and when I suggested cutting the metal where the crank is for me to have room to open the window, they did exactly what I suggested.

Four Seasons did an entire sunroom for us and it’s extremely well done. They created all the glass walls and glass ceilings. They have very good materials and their products are as good as they say they are. They are also the best in the market. Dealing with their sales rep was quite acceptable but the interaction we had with their contractor was less than ideal. We had difficulty with the project manager because he didn't want to deliver all that the salesman expressed in the first place. So we argued about the various levels that they did like whether to include vinyl flooring and other kinds of things. We were able to push through it and get it done, but it reached the point where we told him to get a lawyer and we'll get ours then we would decide where we would settle it. But he ended up doing what the salesman originally said they would do, so we didn't have to do that.

Four Seasons also sold us the lifetime warranty, but in practicality, you're lucky if you got a 10-year warranty from them. We have two small leaks in the caulking on the roof and we are still within the 10 year period. They are just tiny leaks so it's shouldn't be a huge deal and it's not something we would be angry about as far as the product is concerned. But my wife decided to have tea in the sunroom on a rainy day and raindrops dripped on the dress of one of the guests.

So, we have to call Four Seasons about it and ask them to re-caulk. But to do that, we normally have to start with the person in charge and give them a chance to come and do it. If they didn't, we would go to the company, tell them the response we got and hope that they’ll take care of it. In this case, it's a burden for us because of the unpleasant experience we had with the project manager. He is the only person we had contact with and he is who we have to call so we are more hesitant and we don't look forward to calling.

Having Four Seasons was something that has been decided for many years. They are well-known by everyone and they did a lovely job for everybody who was happy with them, except for a few people that have complaints. Four Seasons worked on my greenhouse and their quality of work was fine. They were very concerned with what they were doing and they backed up as they promise. Whatever work they did was professional.

Contacting the contractors was a little aggressive so I tried to do my best to what accommodates them. Also, they kept raising the price and the reason I'm selling up is that I already had the service done and I'm happy with what I had. My sister had Four Season's service four years before me and she paid $10,000 less than I did. It might be due to the labor or the material, but they're not paying attention to what they're charging the people. I paid a little too much, but that was okay. They got to keep up the price in line with the good work. They worked so hard and did a good job but they could lose clients because they raised the prices too high. They should keep a good relationship with the people and try not to jump from one place to another which is what they're doing and that's the best advertisement they could do. Other than that, I'm satisfied with their work.

Their salespeople didn’t give me the best information and it seemed that what they wanted was to make their sale. Also, the first time I had Four Seasons, their reps wouldn’t deliver to my house so I had to pick the products up. They were going to charge me a lot of money for the installation, too, even though it’s just a few more miles, so I had somebody else install them.

Their customer service could be better as well. It's hard to get a hold of their reps. Also, they didn't get back to me in a timely way. They're trying to keep selling me things, but they’re not so good in making sure that I’m satisfied with their product and in checking to see if there's anything that they could do to be able to help me. I used to run companies and I could tell that they need to be more modern in the use of the technology inside their office. They should at least have an operator like they used to do, because I didn't know what department was even available since they didn't answer their phones.

However, Four Seasons’ products are top of the line. I've already bought windows and got some replacements. They are wonderful in terms of how much they can reduce the heating and cooling of the house. Some of the parts were faulty though, so I wasn't really always thrilled with that. The casing for the windows could be better. I bought the second set of windows from them almost two years ago and even though they say that it’s virgin vinyl framing, it doesn’t seem really strong. Four Seasons should have the option of giving the windows wood casing and new products that are not vinyl because these windows are very expensive.

I had the window for half a year, then it was not closing. I couldn't get it down. It was very hard and something was wrong with the lock. The repairman came but belittled me like I wouldn't know how to do it. It was supposed to be fixed but it is not fixed to this day. That is that one window where we have a problem with the latch. I have never called back because I was so angry inside and there is no need for an arrogant guy to tell you how stupid you are. The way we were treated by that one repairman, that was not very good and that was the only time we ever called. We like the windows and we were grateful to have better windows. Maybe the caulking wasn't exactly state of the art, but since the building is old, I look away. I would be very fuzzy if it would be my own home or newly-built home.

I had Four Seasons put a screen on my patio. They were a little more reasonable with their price and closer to home. The installation team was very nice and on time. They explained what they were going to do, and the quality of the work that they did was very good. There were a few things on the screen that we had to do but we didn’t call them back because I know they were very busy at the time when they had ours done. It would be hard for them to get back in so we just glued the thing that was needed to be glued back. But they came out one time when the screen was not done right and they fixed it.

Four Seasons built a sunroom for me and it's the best experience I had. The guys were very good engineers and they did everything properly and on time. The sales reps were all very cordial, neat and professional. There was one contractor, the electrician, who wasn't up to snuff. He was criticizing everything that Four Seasons should have done and it wasn't contrary to the contract. He had his own way of doing it and he thought Four Seasons should have done everything differently. I resented that and I reported it to Four Seasons and they rectified it. Overall, I'm very happy with the job and I really enjoy the sunroom.

When I was renovating my house 25 years ago, I was looking at magazines and I saw Four Seasons Sunrooms. I had them put in a solarium in 1992 and it's still good. Then I had two windows replaced three or four years ago. There were two windows that opened in the sunroom and the seals broke in those windows. So, Four Seasons came and installed sections in those two spots because I didn't open the windows anyway. They also put new glass in the original door that they had done, but that was never finished properly and I'm not terribly happy with it. They didn't do the seal and the doorknob properly. But other than that, I had no issues with Four Seasons on the original product since the solarium is perfectly fine. They were very quick and efficient when they did the solarium, and I was very happy with that.

My kitchen had builder grade cabinets and flooring for 25 years and I wanted something new. The Four Seasons Sunrooms rep said that they would be responsible for everything and it would cost $25,000. She was a great salesperson. She portrayed herself as not only a sales representative but also a kitchen designer. I needed all the cabinets removed, the kitchen gutted and new flooring put down. I wanted to pick out functional and decent cabinets and she said that they will have a person to come out and measure. They’ll go over everything with me, every step of the way. In my naivete, I agreed and as it progressed, it wasn't so great.

I wanted to open up the wall, which they said was no problem and incorporated into the $25,000. It turned out not to be. The backsplash tiles weren't part of the $25,000 too. Everything was extra. I had to pay for the laminate beam, the structural support and the electrician who came in. Also, I had wanted white upper cabinets and dark rich brown bottom cabinets. When the installers came with the bottom cabinets, they weren't brown at all, they were red. It wasn't the dark rich brown I was going with. The owner of Four Seasons came to my house to tell me that it was my error that I had picked out the color. It would also cost me an additional $1,800 to have new cabinets and delay the final installation.

I also had to pay additional for the flooring I wanted because I picked out porcelain wood-type tile which was not part of the $25,000. Plus, I had to pay extra because we had to have a special cement bed put down on the subflooring. Also, when they pulled off all the old cabinets, they damaged the drywall and they will only put a new one up if I buy it. I wound up paying $900, splitting the cost of having them repaint the bottom cabinets with them. When they were finally done, the kitchen is fine and it's functional. It looks decent but I would never recommend Four Seasons. I would never ever hire them again. They were horrible and they don't deserve to have a license. They made me feel like I was making the mistake. If I didn't adhere to it, then they would leave my kitchen in shambles. I had to buy all new appliances. It was not a good experience on any level.

We had Four Seasons put a sunroom in our house in 2000, and it's still beautiful and we're very happy with it. We knew the quality was good and the price was acceptable, but we weren't that pleased with their recent installation. The windows are fine, but the installation was shabby. They left a trim with big grooves in and nothing was sanded smooth. Plus, we spent several hundred dollars in our bedroom to have all the woodwork replaced after they were here.

The installers were pleasant people, but they rushed in and out. We trusted them and didn't lean over their shoulder while they did it, but when we saw the mess they left, we were upset. We contacted Four Seasons about it, but nothing was done. We were having other things done in our house, so we just went and repaired it ourselves. Four Seasons needs to be more careful about who they subcontract the installation to. Their sales reps were very good though. They brought their little suitcase with all the samples and helped us pick out the frame colors. I was very happy with them.

I've had my sunroom for 20 years and I liked the design that Four Seasons had. Recently, I had the roof of the room replaced as it was leaking. I tried to have this work done a few years ago but it was very costly then. This time, it was a better deal. The sales team were able to answer my questions for the most part. They showed me that the sun won’t be able to penetrate new glass because it will be tinted and will keep the heat down. But when I asked the reverse question, "In the winter, how is it going to be warm if it's going to block it?" they said the heat will come from the sides and that wasn't satisfactory to me. Since I don't have the heat in there, I don't use it for four seasons so it's just a three-season room. Other than that, I had an excellent craftsman. The contractor was very pleasant and knew what he was doing. I will recommend Four Seasons to a friend.

We were solicited by Four Seasons and we were impressed with the pictures that we saw. What sold us was their glass has very little heat coming through and you just get the light. I was like, "That's great. That's gonna save us money." But during the summer, it gets really hot on that side of the house. The sales reps were very nice, however, the problem is that every time there was a situation there was a different person involved. But the contractors were the worst situation that we had to deal with.

We have young kids and we don't want strangers to know the house condition, to come in and use some of the things especially what our little kids are using and that was mainly the big problem I have. A porta-potty is $175 a day, depends on who you get it from and I think you're doing a job that is that much money, you really should have that in here. One of the smaller problems was I realized one of the kids they have measuring out the cutouts for the plywood. He was unable to read the measurements because he kept going back and forth and I realized that he was just looking at the numbers and trying to remember the exact points.

Also, we found dyes that were pink at the back of our garage and our flower bed. It was a bunch of little problems that at the end of the day, we found out the job was subcontracted, not a regular team that works directly for them. We also think they need to hire people who know how to speak English and if they're gonna have some contract, they should know that the subcontract is outgoing message both in English and Spanish release. When there were problems, they come and take care of them and we just felt we were dealing with a good reputable company. We should get good reputable service and it wasn't quite the experience.

And their customer service wasn't the best. It took a while just to get the building underway, get it coordinated and for them to attend to some of the details that we were concerned about. I had a contractor at my end who was overseeing them and if I didn't have him, I would’ve been in worse shape. And I shouldn’t need to have that. Their after-sales service has to be better. The installers took out the old windows and put in the new ones. They were done in five or six hours and they cleaned up after themselves. We were very pleased with the whole process. I was trying to replace the windows on my house and when I Google searched, companies popped up like Andersen Windows. I searched and I liked the window product that Four Seasons was advertising. I did 27 windows and the two guys that came out did them in two and a half days. I have a 6 x 4 picture window and then there's a big window above that. It's a 20-ft. ceiling, so they had to work in that form. It was a large job. But the first rep that I talked to was a dumbass. I called and canceled my request for windows through Four Seasons because I signed the contract for the windows and I wanted to change three double-hung windows in the sunroom which were horrible. I wanted it to be like a picture window. And so, when I asked to do that, the first guy said that with the way it's designed, they can’t do that and they can't change it.

Then, when I was talking to someone else about the windows, they asked me why I can’t change it. I told them that the window guy said we can’t. So then, after I started doing a little digging, I found that I could. I wasn't ready to make a decision yet and I wanted to do a little bit more research because I really hated the double-hung windows that were in that sunroom. And so then, I canceled it. I was extremely dissatisfied with the first guy. When he brought in his demonstration window, the window wouldn’t work. But I knew the window because I had heard about the window from someone else when I started doing my research. So I was interested in it.

His manager called and talked to me about it. I told him what I want to do and he came out and spent three hours going over the windows and the order. We changed it to the picture window with two sliders and we changed another window in the living room to sliders. Most of them are casement windows so we spent quite a bit of time on it. And finally, I was happy. I signed a new contract because we changed some of the windows and then it continued. The first salesman wanted to get the contract signed and go but the area manager was more interested in what I wanted instead of simply looking at what's in my house. When he put those new windows, it changed the entire outlook of that room. It was awesome. This was three years ago.

Six months ago, I'm standing in the living room and there's a big storm and it's raining. If I wasn’t standing there, I never would have noticed I started getting dripped on. I called the manager back because these are guaranteed for life. I haven't talked to him in a few years and he told me that the business is no longer operating because they went out of business. But he offered to send somebody over there to fix my window at $60 an hour. I said, “No, thank you.” Then, I was talking to somebody who was going to help me with my porch and he asked me who installed my windows. So, I told him and I also said they were out of business. He said they're not out of business. When they were dumping their windows at the dump, there was a guy there from Four Seasons so he knew they're still in business. Maybe not the contractor that I dealt with but at least I still have a warranty on my windows.

I like the product. Plus, the installation process and the guys that came out were awesome. The guys didn’t leave a mess and did a beautiful job. I have zero complaints. It's just that when I had the window leak, I ended up fixing it myself. It needed some caulking on the outside where the window met the frame. It had deteriorated from the sun. But other than that, I am extremely pleased with the windows.

We got our sunroom enclosed by Four Seasons two years ago. We compared so many companies like local ones and Four Seasons had really expensive price at that time but we went with them because it's a national company and we thought they would do an excellent job. But unfortunately, they didn't. At the beginning, everything was smooth. The salesperson got our check very swift and after that, nobody contacted us for about a few months. I tried to call and they said they changed the manager like nobody is working on this project anymore and we have to talk to a new person, like the new manager in charge for this project. After a while, the other new manager is gone which was why it took almost a year and a half to finish the whole project. And I don't have anyone to contact with after they finish the whole thing.

And there are still some problems about the concrete they put where there's a big crack on the front and on the side. We also saw leaking underneath of the brick which we put the tile above it. And I have the pictures about the water coming after the not so heavy rain. My neighbors were asking who did this job, and I said I don't recommend this company. We had Four Seasons install a glass room in our house. I didn't like it. They're pretty, but they're not meant for people in New York or any area that has four seasons. It cost us a fortune to cool and heat it. It was also leaking. They've been here three times to try to fix it but they weren't able to. I gave them money when they first came here, but then they didn't come. I then called them and sent letters to the general manager of the business. Finally an employee came and it took more than one day to be done. At that time, I was working full-time and my baby sitter was appalled because he was completely inappropriate with her. It was to the point where I stayed home the next day because I didn't feel comfortable leaving her and my child with him.

I also had an entire side of the house replaced with glass that was more efficient at either keeping the heat out or in, depending on the season. It was just a run around on when I would have a date. It went on for months six months. We went with them again because they have special tracks for the glass and I couldn't just go to a glass manufacturer and have it replaced, so I didn't have many choices. It was a horrible experience and it did not meet my expectations with the amount of money that I spent. I wouldn't recommend them.
