I got my windows replaced by Four Seasons and the quality of work was good. There was rotted wood that they did not foresee because the house is old but they took care of it at no extra cost. They must have paid $10 out of pocket to get some 2x4's and redo the wood. However, when they disconnected my windows, I did not know my alarm system was disconnected and I had to reconnect it. The batteries must have gotten wet and I had to get two $5 batteries. I wished they would've tested it before I found out about it.

A neighbor recommended Four Seasons and I recommend them, too. We got a couple of quotes and decided to go with them not for the price, but more for the quality that we saw. We had a screened-in porch built for us. Their sales rep was nice and the installation was good. However, the screen came off a few months later but somebody came to fix it. Their customer service was good. The overall quality is also good—it survived the hurricane.

My understanding was that Four Seasons is the one that did the original installation when the building was built 25 years ago and I was told nobody else does it anymore. I replaced the original glass with a two-paned glass with the gas in the middle, which is supposed to keep the room dramatically cooler than the original glass. The overall quality of the work was satisfactory but it's not the issue. Their salesperson came and had his little demonstration with a double-sided glass. He put a heat gun against one side, and the other side was cool. The temperature in the room was getting up to 100 degrees. When he showed me that, there was a drop of 20 degrees or more on the other side of the glass. So, I had the job done for $11,500, and I'd like to take the job and put it where the sun doesn't shine because it was a rip-off. It hasn't changed the temperature in the room one bit, not one degree.

The salesperson should have had the gun on the glass for 20 or 30 minutes instead of a minute or two. It needed time to penetrate, and I had no idea that it takes a while before the real heat on the other side is what you're going to get. I complained to their President or VP till I was blue in the face. After all the complaining, the best he could do was give my wife and me $100 to go out and eat in a nice restaurant. It was horrible. I wasted every penny of my money and got nothing out of it.

We live near Houston and we have a sunroom which was destroyed by Hurricane Pike. We had it when we moved in, a tree fell on it so it had to be replaced and we had to find a builder. I searched through the internet and other sites and Four Seasons Sunrooms was the name that came up. We didn’t have a whole lot of choices because not a lot of other companies continue to do that kind of work. They finished the work here five years ago and the quality was fairly good. It has some problems that the previous sunroom didn’t have. We’re having heavy rains right now so we had some leaks, but given the type of connection with our home itself, it is understandable that we would have them. So, I don’t attribute that to the work as much as I do to what they had to work with what we had.

I had a terrible experience with the sales reps. They’ve sent me evaluations a couple of times and I've always given them as negative an evaluation as I could. The representatives of the company here in the Houston area were extremely unprofessional and indifferent to us. I went to their store. It's a half an hour from our home. I talked to a man and he came out to our house, did an evaluation, told us what we needed and how much it would cost. Then, I didn’t hear from him again for two months. Finally, when I contacted again, they said he had left the company but they will do whatever he said they would do. They asked for a deposit and I gave them $5,000. The total cost of the sunroom was going to be $30,000. There was nothing for a couple of months. And so, I finally stopped payment on the check and tried to reach out to them again.

Essentially what we realized were a bunch of lies that they had problems with their management and with supplies. Initially, they started to work but I had to give them checks again. It took a while to get the material made in New York and shipped down here by truck. They got halfway through the work and stopped for three weeks because they didn’t have all the material that they needed to finish the work. Most of the sunroom was right across our backyard. But the two guys that were sent out were equivalent to that movie you might have seen called Dumb and Dumber. They didn't know what they were doing. They were clumsy, silly and didn’t have a professional attitude. They were also in no hurry to get it finished. They are contract workers rather than working directly with the company and so, they were indifferent to whether they did any work or when it was done.

They finally did a decent job but it took a very long time, a lot of anger and a lot of trips back and forth to their store, being lied to, misrepresenting and telling us things that we knew not to be true. There were turnovers at management. I'd call over there and I'd ask to speak to somebody and they would say that the person doesn't work there anymore and then somebody else will have to get up the speed and get going on it. It took six months to do a job that should have taken three weeks altogether. The company is totally incompetent and I wouldn’t use them again if they were the only company around. I'd do without, rather than going back to them.

I was totally dissatisfied. It has been five years and they could have turned themselves around by now. But I wouldn't trust them to it myself and I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. Sometimes, they're very popular here which is curious because they could make a lot of money but not out of us. It certainly was goodwill. We have guests in our home all the time, who come out, walk into our sunroom and say it’s beautiful, great and they like it. We like it but it just was far more difficult to get built than it should have been.

Four Seasons helped me with a set of glass wall, windows and a door. I was thinking about putting tiles on the floor now, but the entrance door is so low to the ground until it scraped when you put anything underneath it. It was a former carport and when contractors build a carport, they don't necessarily make it all even. So right at the door, one end is a little higher than the other and there's not enough clearance and I wish they paid more attention to that. I didn’t notice it right away so I didn’t complain about the door, but I figured out to put pave on partially and put an epoxy paint on the rest of it.

The quality was very good and my neighbors liked it. There were no leaks and it's a nice sealed room. We had a few storms but no rattling and when it blows out there, I can't even tell the wind is blowing except when I put the flag out. Also, I wanted the door to swing in because I didn’t want the problem leaving it open and the wind blowing it, and they did just like I wanted. But it probably wouldn’t have caused any problems because the material is very sturdy.

I had incorrectly heard that Four Seasons Sunrooms is a good company so I had them build a room. The sales representative was very nice but the contractors were less than adequate. I'm very unhappy with the room. Also, a window broke and it's under warranty, and they're going to replace it, but that hasn't happened yet. I would definitely not advise anybody to use Four Seasons.

Four Seasons Sunrooms has a good reputation so we got them when we put a sunroom on. The electrical contractor was an old grump but he came around. We've had the sunroom for almost 10 years now and we've had leaks a couple of times but they came out and took care of it right away. On the other hand, I have a spring that needs to be replaced but I don't know exactly how to go about that. But other than that, I was very pleased and I had a great experience.

I needed some glass replacements for my windows in my house in Long Island and looked at who had done the previous one. It was written Four Seasons on the glass so I called them and got eight pieces of sunroom glass replaced. Then I got a call from one of the guys because they used to call us to ask if we need other work done. I told them I need my apartment fixed so some guy came there to evaluate but he never got back to me on what it was or when to call us and just disappeared. Other than that, the first job that they did for us, the sunroom glass, was very well done and I was happy with the overall quality of work. I would recommend them to a friend.

Four Seasons Sunrooms is a local company and I've done some research and heard good things about the product. Their sales team was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I had the windows replaced and I'm happy with them. But, I was not happy with the installation. We've just had the floors of the house redone but when I got home from work, there was plastic everywhere and they scratched the floor because they dragged the windows on it up in the hallway. Also, they did a very poor job on the molding that they put around the window. I've had water leaking in a few of them, so I had to redo them. I made it clear to them that I wasn't too pleased and they took care of it as far as I can tell, but I still had to take care most of it on my own.

The people at Four Seasons were very good and they put out a very nice product. I was first exposed to them through one of those Houston Improvement Districts where you went down those reliance centers. They put in a screened porch patio for me to replace an old one. It’s been about three years now but it’s still holding up really well. The sales rep came to my home and gave me an estimate. He was very thorough and described the product and what they were going to do and got it done. The contractors were fine. First, I had one come out and they went to the roof, making more of a float, and put the patio together within the timeframe. The only thing we had to do was to have the roof custom-ordered because of its length. Otherwise, it went really well. The Four Seasons team were very helpful, very nice and on time. They’re very professional and they did what they promised.

Four Seasons Sunrooms came out and showed us what they could do as far as what their windows did and were about. The rep was great and the pricing was right for me. They also said that they could take care of us in a quick fashion. The contractors, while they seemed to be young, did their job in a professional manner. I had some questions about their installation and they answered things accordingly. The initial quality of the windows done seems well and I like them. They are great windows and were definitely an upgrade compared to what I had before.

Dealing with the rep initially was good, but then after the work was done, it was basically hands-off. I have a problem with one of my windows leaking but I've been unable to get anybody to help me fix that. There's no follow up and I've called in to have somebody call me back to fix the problems and they never called back. The promises that they've made were not kept so I just gave up and dealt with what I had. It made me feel like they were just in it to get my money and they didn't care about my output afterwards. I've had other companies that I've spent more money with that have given me more comfort about being able to deal with me in a later time. I would really have liked to see that because I have spent a good chunk of money. So, I would never go back to them and I would never tell somebody else to go with them.

Four Seasons put in a whole new window for me. When I first got it, it was great. The kids loved it 'cause they thought they were outside. However, the product didn't stand up. I was told with the new glass, I won't have to wash it. But when it rains, it puts some kind of a film on it. The window still has it and I can't go out there and clean it anymore. That's why I said, "Okay. Let's put a new roof." A whole new roof cost me $10,000. The roof was put three years ago and when I called Four Seasons when it first started to leak, they came and did whatever they had to do but then it started all over again.

Now the side window has a broken seal. I told my husband I'm not replacing those because Four Seasons didn't stand up behind what they said. It's supposed to be guaranteed for 20 years. Someone came back and corked it but it started to leak again. I'm going to be 74 years old and I can't be dealing with this anymore, so I just let it stay like that. When it rains, I just mop it up. I'm tired of calling Four Seasons. They never called me back. Also, when I called to replace the screens on the sliding door, they gave me a hard time. I had to go and pick them up instead of them saying they'll mail them to me. They're way out in Sussex. I'm very dissatisfied and won't go through it all over again.

I got a sunroom done by Four Seasons. At that time, there weren't too many companies that seemed to be interested in giving prices, but I was confident that Four Seasons would do a good job so we went with them. The only issue that I had with them was that it took a year longer than it was supposed to to get it done and they weren't really communicating. I bought it on April 3rd because it's my birthday and it was supposed to be built that summer, but it wasn't. They said they would do it before Christmas which they did, but they didn't say which Christmas. I just assumed it was the Christmas that year but they built it the next year. They got into the way, got behind and then it was winter. I didn't want it done in the winter. I got a little grouchy and I would have walked away but I had $10,000 paid down that's why they still got the job.

I also felt very much ignored. There was absolutely no communication unless I ask. And when I would communicate and ask them, they would give me answers but not really the right ones. It's something that got me up for a while. But when they were here, they did a good job and I'm quite satisfied with what I got. If people were to ask me about Four Seasons, I'd tell them they do a great job, but not to expect things done as fast as they wanted.

I was looking for windows and Four Seasons has been in the business for a while. However, they had installed one of the wrong windows and when I had called, the sales representative had a nasty and hateful attitude in his voice. He was very unprofessional. I had to call the district manager who was polite, courteous and very professional so I stuck with it. I also had the aluminum on the window and all of a sudden, it had warped that first year. So I called and the representative talked so nasty, I didn't even want to deal with Four Seasons and I'll never deal with them again.

The contractor was courteous in answering a question I may have asked and they were very professional in installing it as well. But they just did what they were told and they didn't work for Four Seasons. The product is also good but the representatives were horrible. I would not suggest Four Seasons to anybody. It's very expensive and I paid over $7,000 to get attitude. It was a horrible experience overall.

Four Seasons claimed they had a special deal and I got them. They helped us with a sunroom. The overall quality of the work was good and the installers were excellent, but my interaction with the sales reps was horrible. The techs installed most of the windows except the very last one. The factory cut it wrong and it was too short so they had to nail a piece of plywood up there. We waited six weeks or more and kept calling the company but they wouldn’t return our calls until we finally threatened to sue them. Then the window came in and the installers came back and installed it. The people they used to do the cement work to enlarge the patio did it so badly that I had to get on my hands and knees with the chisel and try to straighten it out myself, and I'm 75 years old.

We felt that we should be compensated for some of these, the long time waiting to get the new window ordered from the factory and the fact that they were almost rude to us. This was not the installers but the office that we were dealing with. We understand they went through several personnel changes so we were never talking to the same person. In the end, I think they finally settled and gave us the $500 back as compensation. It was a very long, stressful ordeal to get the thing finished but the product itself is good. The installers did a great job and it looks nice. So far, we're happy with it but on the whole, I don't know if I would recommend Four Seasons. I've had several people who asked me about it because they liked the looks of it, but I said, “If you have to deal with these office people, forget it.”

I was looking for something for a porch on my house, so I went to the home show in Markham. I liked what I saw and got a pretty good deal on an 8 x 16 Four Seasons Sunroom with a glass roof because it was a used item. The package was one that they had set up as a demonstrator and when they changed their demonstration model, they had this one sitting in the warehouse. So, I bought it from them and installed it myself. We had to do a bit of back and forth dickering with the sales rep. They wanted more money than I wanted to pay but we came to an agreement and it was fine. We basically talked to his manager directly at the time on speakerphone and made the deal with the manager but the salesman did the leg work. He set it up for us and did a good job. We also had to figure out whether or not we were going to the ease of my house because I didn't want to have to go above it because that's too much work.

Four Seasons treated me very good. They were right there for anything that I needed. They have this one fellow who knew everything about the unit and every part of it. When I talked to him and if I needed something, I got answers right away. My biggest issue was I had to travel a long way to pick up parts that I needed. There would have been a nearer location in Whitby but that's not who I bought from. They weren't going to honor any commitments other than be able to supply but I have to pay for it. Whereas the people I bought from, they supplied certain things to me that should have been in the package that wasn't, but I had to go and pick them up. That's no big deal. I'm satisfied and it turned out very nice. It's beautiful and it's cool in the summer. There's no heat that comes through the glass. They promised me there wouldn't be. I would definitely recommend them anytime. I'm totally satisfied with Four Seasons.

A lot of magazines show all-glass sunrooms and I knew that Four Seasons Sunrooms & Windows make them so I called them to see what it will take. I got the whole glass sunroom from them and their sales rep was friendly and good. I used their design and when they filed the permit, they were to follow the permit from the Sunroom guy. So, that’s why there were a couple of checks by the city. And sales rep told the Sunroom guy to send the permit. So, that was good because I wasn’t sure. They had to modify the deck according to the engineering requirement but that was supposed to be built by an independent contractor so they had to get a hold of the deck guy. I wanted to make sure that they follow the design.

Four Seasons contractors' were helpful. They were going to get a different floor and I said no because I'll pay more to get the better flooring. I got my own view rock on my floor board and I made them screw all the view rock because they were all just going to nail it and nails generally pop out. They had long screws and they needed that because of the 3 inches of wood from the deck to the view rock. There were thousands of screws and they were tired but it is good. But, I wish the glass was a bit more tinted because it gets hot. I’m doing my best to cover the top a little bit. I needed somebody to tint the windows, the roof as well as the upper windows and it’s a big job. I have used the screen temporarily just like the screen for the windows with the spring. I made that and put the reflector for the top. By next summer, I will have somebody finish the tinting.

There is one caution about the water leak though. They tested it and they were standing on the roof of the house, and there’s a sunroom roof. The water comes from the sky so you got to spray the water up and let it fall down so it takes the force. They didn’t get the leak at that time but within a week, I found a leak. They did not see the front of the top roof part of the sunroom windows and they forgot to seal the one which was right at the edge. When they sprayed the water with the hose, they’re not filling the gutter but when the water pours, the gutter gets filled. The water was seeping through that gap between the last window at the edge and the framing and coming inside like a hose.

One day, within a week, I was getting a lot of water because the water goes through that hole and fills up the gutter. It doesn't empty the gutter fast and because of that, it comes back inside. One of their engineers came over, climbed the roof and sealed it. After that, there was another leak at the end which is near the house. There are about 20 windows on the top and one of the windows needed to be sealed so they did that. It was dripping but it wasn’t as bad as the one in the front. They should fill the edge because sometimes I was also getting cockroaches. They crawl from the creek, come back up and then they try to squeeze through so I had to seal all that along the edge of the house so I don’t have any cockroach issue anymore. I will still recommend them with the tinted only on the top because, otherwise, you won’t be able to see outside. A lot of sunrays are coming from the front and from the side so I would go with a bit tinted.

Four Seasons were at a trade show and they seemed to have good quality windows. Initially, the very first person I spoke with was very knowledgeable and seemed to have a good idea of the company. I was also able to negotiate them down, quite low compared to other companies. But other than the first time meeting them, everybody after that was just terrible.

They replaced all the windows in our home. The work was good once it was completed, but it took at least six visits to my home including the initial installations they haven't completed correctly. The contractors were bad too. They were very ill-equipped to handle the situation and they had no social skills. They even ordered the wrong windows and were only able to install half of them. They didn't caulk half the windows the right way and ended up having to redo one of the windows completely. I also think a window was damaged. They still owe me at least $150, but the whole thing was a fiasco. I finally gave up after fighting for another six months. It was the worst experience and customer service I ever had in my entire life. It was horrendous and absolutely terrible.

Four Seasons Sunrooms & Windows' rep told me that everything was done in-house and that was like icing on the cake. But when the installers got there, they were outsourced. I was pissed off because the salesman lied to me. However, it turned out that the contractors were really good so it didn't bother me. They’re very pleasant, very friendly and they’re really nice to my wife and my children. They’re also quick. They didn’t make a mess and dragged stuff around, which is good. It didn’t feel like dealing with a lot of contractors.

I ended up getting the surrounding kitchen redone such as the ceiling, lighting and the floors. However, like all projects, there’s always something. So, it was the door. They essentially didn’t have one door and I withheld 25% of the payment until I got that door which took about a month and a half. The door was manufactured with a wrong number. They redid it twice and in both times, the doors were wrong. You could tell that there was a disconnect between manufacturing and sales which slowed down the whole process, which I didn’t like. That was the only downside. It’s annoying that I have the whole payment and not get this over with because of one door. Things like that put a bit of damper on the experience for me.

Nevertheless, the quality of all the work was excellent and the work was done really well. The products used and the service was very good. It’s just that the timeline was behind than I wanted to be. They gave me a scope of four to six weeks but it was more like 10 to 12 weeks. The kitchen cabinets were made from scratch but they were really well done, which is a big deal. A lot of people end up buying kitchens with cabinets that are crappy and they fall apart but these things will never do. It’s really nice. The model work that they ended up picking out was exactly what I wanted. So overall, it has been a very positive experience.

We live within six miles of Four Seasons showroom. I'm a senior citizen now and I drove by there for 30 years since they've been in business. And when we finally decided to go with it, the company had changed hands. And once the company does that, it's never the same. We signed in January of 2012 to have work done and it was not completed until August of 2015 through no fault of our own. There was a bunch of problems. Nobody seemed to coordinate in a way that made us feel like they were on our side in both inner and upper management. It was always a struggle. I even had the supervisor’s cell phone and half the time, he wouldn't answer it. It was a bad experience.

They installed the Greenhouse on the back of our kitchen and its glass roof. But it was changed dramatically from what was originally planned and drawn out. It was problem after problem and we were ready to give it all up. Then my wife suggested we do the simpler things and they agreed. They re-drew everything and it ended up with the same cost. Also, in the township that we're in, permits are a problem. Some of it was not Four Seasons' fault but they misled us by saying that we're not going to need those. There was a lot of miscommunication.

We gave them plenty of rope and they didn't live up to what they would tell us. We went to the factory a couple of times and they told us they’re going to be back to us by next Friday but we wouldn't hear from them for four weeks. There was also a time that we were ready to cancel and they said we could. Then they came back and asked us to try one more time. It was a cat and mouse game and we're not happy with them. But the product was excellent. Its quality was good although very expensive. We were expecting a huge crew to come in and it was one guy and a helper. The carpenter did all the work. He was terrific and a top-shelf. It was a beautiful work. But I would never work with Four Seasons again. The company needs some knowledge in how to treat people and customers without making them feel like they're a burden.

I was just trying to replace what I already have. I got the name and information from one of the windows that was already in the Sunrooms. The Four Seasons rep, Jason, came out, did the estimate and got me a good deal on everything. I liked him. Every time I called him, he answered. He was responsive so he was good. However, he was let go and someone else was there. They had to turn over. I was worried that I already paid a significant amount of money and I thought that I was not going to get anything back. I contacted Jason and he told me to not worry, that Four Season Sunrooms is a good company and that they would honor the contract and everything. I felt better after that.

But they have a lot of turnovers and I had to call several times and almost threatened them to make sure that the job was done. The first time the guys came out with some glass and everything, the pieces weren't the right size. They had to send them back and get new ones. But the guys, Kenneth and Ghetto, did a great job although took over a year to get that done. In fact, I hired Ghetto later for other work around the house. My neighbors were interested in getting new windows in their house. They were going to call Four Seasons because I was all excited about it, and then when they saw how it wasn’t working, they decided not to call them. Overall, I ended up being satisfied but because of the many months that it took to get the job done, I don’t think I’d feel comfortable working with any of them at Four Seasons.

I have two companies that I have gone to. I called Four Seasons and they were doing home consultation. The person who came was the head of the Northern region of California and he was also part-owner. I was impressed with the approach and styles so I decided to work with them. However, to my surprise, the people who did the construction were contractors. They were not Four Seasons' employees so they work in their own ways. I'm not too enthusiastic about the kind of work they've done. There was a lot of delay in getting the product done. It's supposed to be a two-month project but it took them almost six months. The quality of work is not too impressive. For example, there are some gaps in the panels they mounted side by side like a wall. I can see through outside and dust and insects come in. I told Four Seasons a couple of times but nobody showed up.

Then we have these french doors for the entrance and exit, and the locks are gone. They give lifetime warranty and so I kept calling but the managers never responded. I tried a few times and then I gave up. They don't honor what they promised when they try to sell the service. When friends and family come to visit, they like the room itself but everyone spots the issues and I tell people honestly what my experience was. I don't quite recommend Four Seasons.

I tried to reach some people to do a project. Everyone knew we don’t do it and then I met with a friend. He did some work and told me this is what Four Seasons Sunrooms did and how much it would cost. I agreed about everything and we started. My friend had problems because the franchise of the people who started with him had gone bankrupt but the company told him that they will continue and they took responsibility. The company finished the project for him.

There were some frustrations during the whole project and some parts that I didn’t like that I discovered after. The spa's not 100% straight. I am not an expert but by looking at it, I found it in the beginning that there's a little part of the spa showing and at the end of it was a bigger part showing which was not straight and it gave us hard time to put the ceramic in. Then in the middle of the process, they said we needed a sump pump which should be one of the jobs and they charged me $5,000. After that, I knew that the sump pump was $500 because what happened provoked him and I changed it to $500. The really bad thing was that they told me they’re gonna finish it November and after that, they delay to the next season, so it’s delayed seven months because they cannot work in the winter. There’s a lot of stuff in between delay but overall, I’m 70% happy.

A year later during a hurricane, water poured in from the windows so I called but somebody told me that that company I was in contact with in Raleigh was out of business and was sold over for another company. I got a little bit frustrated and nobody can help me out. I'm upset and I already called a different company to fix it. Now I'm in the questions that I have contact with a company that's been bought out by another company so if I have my windows worked on or if I need a replacement, I don’t even know where to go.

The quality wasn’t great. We're still having leaks, which we mean to contact them about. Their sales rep and their contractor were good, and they're good about coming and fixing the leak last time. However, they don't fix all of them. Also, the main problem was the little staircase coming from the door into the greenhouse. They just threw it together and that's it. They did what they told us they would do but it wasn't quality work at all.

Four Seasons helped me with my whole kitchen. They installed some cupboards and did the floor. However, I have to call them back because one of the cupboards is broken and the inside is loosened. The pipe was also leaking. It wasn’t what I expected because I paid a lot. They subcontract all the work but the people they employ weren't as good. Some contractors were good, some weren’t and it’s very sporadic. They need to focus on who they hire and subcontract their work out to. They weren't as professional as they should have been. They even came in the middle of the night with the sheetrock and it was inconvenient to me.

However, the salesman was good and he pitched really well. He's very convincing, but what he said and what was performed are totally opposite. They said “Okay. You have this time until the date." I was pressured at that time. They said “So, if you don't do it now, then you lose something out.” They didn't give much window to think. They need to give the consumer more time to make up their minds. Overall, it's not worth the money they charge. If I had canceled it then, I wouldn't have lost $10,000 that I paid them. I wouldn't use them again.

I did a Google research and Four Seasons was in the area. They had a high rating so I chose them to replace the windows. The sales rep was very friendly but I wasn’t terribly satisfied with the overall work quality. They cut out the old windows and put in the refabricated, but it changed from one design to another. They cut the edges on the old windows, so you see the unfinished wood and it was flawed.

The windows had problems with the fit too. The locking mechanism wasn't working properly and it took them over a year to remedy the issue. Still, it wasn't quality fix, but they weren't willing to work with me and do a better job. I gave instructions to the two contractors to set the windows back from the interior, so there was space to install some blinds. But the installation was inconsistent on how much depth they left in the windowsill, between the windowsill and the window itself. There's no consistency from one window to the next at all.

We built two different sunrooms with Four Seasons. The first one that we built in one house was really well done and lovely, but the second one, a very small sunroom, was a total train wreck. First of all, we got a quote to do the job, then they fired the salesman who gave us the quote, and then they said that he quoted it wrong and doubled the price. We went and pushed on that a little bit and got the price back down to within $300 of the original quote.

Then the installation was like a home invasion. The installers broke windows, then we got flooded because they didn't seal a couple of windows that should have been sealed. Our interaction with the contractors was like dealing with Dumb and Dumber. The sales representative wasn't even around and the operations manager was helpful but stressed because the whole franchise that they were buying from was going through some turmoil and restructuring. They were having and we couldn't get satisfaction from anyone there. This whole thing took about several months when it should have taken a couple of weeks. It was a horrific, awful and terrible experience, so we would never deal with them again.

I don't like Four Seasons at all. I got a sunroom from them and it was a lot of baloney. If you put this certain window for a certain amount of money it's supposed to be cool in the summer and hot in the winter. But the room was freezing in the winter and hot as hell in the summer. Also the paper film that they had between two panels just wound up crunching up. I ended up having someone come in here and cover it up from the inside except for the curvature part which is the only part that you could see glass from inside.

And when I had them do a repair on it recently they did it wrong. I had the curved windows replaced, three at one time and it wasn't a problem but the last three turned out to be a disaster. It was pouring like the hammers of hell on a Friday. I called them that day and they can't send someone out because they didn't have emergency service. I was literally taking pails of water out of the sunroom and dumping them through the whole night, through the whole weekend. And the whole thing is I was the only one who could do it since my husband is a full-leg amputee. But they were pleasant on the phone. When I finally did get someone, the head of the department he was coming to do it himself. He was going to check every last pane but he sent the same guy that screwed up in the first place to fix it. So I would not recommend them. They are a horrible company to work with.

Four Seasons did the bathroom in my old apartment. Another company did the bedroom and living room and common area. And there was a lot of back and forth because they pointed fingers. For example, debris needed to be removed, they said "Oh no, the contractor is supposed to do it." The contractor said, "Oh no, they're supposed to do it.” It was in our contract with Four Seasons that they were supposed to remove the debris. So, eventually they did. There were also several times that I had to reach out to David of Four Seasons to have people come back to do the job correctly. Part of the wall in the bathroom near the doorway had a huge depression in it. It looked like part of the backer board broke, and instead of fixing it, they just painted over it. They agreed to send someone back but no one showed up.

So, I contacted them again and they said, "Oh, sorry. We'll send somebody else." This time, someone came and worked on the depression. It was not made to be flushed and smoothed with the rest of the wall. You could still see that there was damage there. But at that point, it had been quite a long time of renovation and moving back and forth. And I needed to move in because I've moved out of my old apartment already. So, I gave up. I didn't pursue it anymore. After the first person didn't show up, and the second person obviously didn't care enough to do a good job, I wasn't going to play this game for another month. I was going to move into my apartment and start living there.

My house is 115 years old, but it’s well-made. The kitchen is old and needed remodeling, but it wasn’t in disrepair and there wasn’t anything falling. However, the previous homeowner installed vinyl windows poorly. I gave Four Seasons a call based on an advertisement and the rep told me about the Four Seasons rooms they make and gave me a bit of an overview of the products the company offers. I was in need of windows and that’s what I purchased. I worked as a millwork specialist for six months at Home Depot and I dealt with the doors and windows, so when the rep was describing the windows, I was familiar with all the terminology and the quality. The window was good based on the demonstration and the things that the rep was saying about them. The windows were well-made and I was not disappointed.

However, the gentlemen who installed the windows damaged the wall around it and the damage was extended to the basement door. That irritated me and instead of being humble and offering to patch it up, they left. That's not professional and I felt disrespected. I would not accept someone to come in, do business for me and then turn around and cause damage costing me more money. My husband was sick with cancer at that time, so he didn’t have the energy to fight on that. He let it go, but had I been present, I would have taken care of it. Where the windows were, there was a major difference.

I was very upset at the major damage, but six months later my kitchen got a whole gutting and remodeling. Initially, I called Four Seasons to see if they could give us an estimate. They're a little on the costly side, but I liked the quality of the windows. I spoke to the person who came and there're certain things that I liked about the design she picked out, but when I asked her about moving a steam pipe that went from the basement to the heater in the guestroom, she said the pipe had to stay. We were quoted 80 for the price and it was too much. The design was okay and I kept it. We had our kitchen remodeled by the same company that remodeled my upstairs bathroom. They came in and did their design, which was similar to the one from Four Seasons, but I never showed it to them because I wanted to see what somebody else would do. They knew the pipe would be a complete obstruction and they were able to move it.

We got the kitchen remodeled for more than 28, a little less than half the cost Four Seasons quoted us. I had two large windows in my kitchen and the remodelers took one out. I asked if the new windows could be saved and the contractor said based on the design, he’ll try. However, he wasn’t able to and much smaller windows were installed. The plumber at the time put aside the window to take it and I specifically told him that the windows should be left to the side after because they’re good and I’m keeping them. When I was going to work, I told my husband to make sure the windows didn't go anywhere because besides being practically new, I knew the quality was excellent. The windows were not cheap and to this day, they’re in my basement.

I also had a window installed in my son’s room and everything was intact. In the winter time at the beginning of this year, my son opened the window and it somehow came off track. The piece in the window that looks almost like a pulley failed and he couldn’t close it. The right side of the window is broken off and in order to close it, I have to open like I’m going to clean it, push it down and then click back on track that way. At that point, I realized the window is damaged and it shouldn’t be. I have to contact Four Seasons, but it's not a priority. My husband passed away so there's been a lot of things going on in our lives right now that has to be taken care of. Overall, it was a good experience. There were little glitches that took it down a notch, but the salespeople were very personable. The product was good quality and I like the package that's presented. Four Seasons is expensive and it’s not perfect, but I would recommend them.

I’d known about Four Seasons for years and I knew they had a good product so I had them build a sunroom. The original salesman was good and we were able to negotiate a fair price. The fellow who did the work was also very good and the overall quality of the work done was very good, and I had no problem with the contractor putting up the materials and doing the job. But I have an issue with a leak that I've been dealing with for three years. I called the company in Bohemia, Long Island three times, but they never came and the issue has never been resolved. The representative said that they were going to channel my issue through the right person and call me back, but they never did. Then there was another time when they transferred my call, so I was waiting, but I was cut off. So, although I was very happy with the sunroom project and the work done on it, I have not been happy with the customer service.

I wanted a sunroom and Four Seasons Sunrooms & Windows was the one I knew that built windows and rooms. I came over and told them what I wanted and the sales representative gave me a quote. The contractors came in, took out the old stuff, and left the room open. The rain got everything soaking wet on the carpet and they came back and vacuumed it up. Then they framed the room out and called for inspection. But their inspector quit on them so they had to wait for a new one. When the inspector finally came in, the contractors had to redo the framing to make it stronger which made the project run longer. The experience, on the whole, was less than what I expected and I wish they had a better price.

The windows in my front room were not sealed good anymore. We have talked around and done several things and then just decided to replace them. I liked that there was a little bit of tint on those windows because that sunroom is sunny. Four Seasons Sunrooms & Windows' rep came out and talked to me. I got two other bids but he was a good salesman and they had a good product. The man was nice and they seemed to be the right fit. He brought several products then I saw the one with the little bit of tint on the window and said, "Oh, this would be great." I know that it would pay for itself by keeping in the hot and the cold in the different seasons but also the extreme sun that my sunroom gets. They came in, did a good job, cleaned up behind themselves and were gone. We didn't have a lot of time with mess. It was excellent.

It is a superior window. I have 40 windows in my home and I had all the windows redone that one time. They have just held up well. They go up and down easy. They fit in the track well. I can put the screen on the top, open the top of the windows and I get a better breeze like that. Those other windows, you could hardly move any part of them anymore.

The Four Seasons' representative that came out to my house was very thorough and pleasant. He respected me as a woman since I was the one who was going to be doing the purchasing because my husband is out of town a lot of the times. I purchased their windows and it was excellent. He not only explained everything really well, but he recommended things that I would have never thought of being middle aged with some health problems with my back. One of my larger windows is a bit behind our couch, and instead of doing the up and down, he recommended side to side sliders which has helped us out tremendously.

We have a four bedroom home, and we converted one of our bedrooms into a playroom for our grandchildren and he recommended a shatter proof because it's a lower window and it has given us a peace of mind because of the grandkids. He also pointed out about the sagging of the window which their windows don't do and what their windows have that other windows don't as far as the heat. He pointed out so many things that other people did not point out to us. My husband and I were very impressed with everything that he showed us. Also, their contractor was very clean and very respectful of our home. They did what they were supposed to do in the time frame that they said it would be done.

If I ever have any work done again, I'm going with Four Seasons and I don't mind paying a bit more. I was very impressed with everything from the presentation down to the workers. They went above and beyond every little detail and there was nothing left untouched. My house was an older home and I was worried that the bricks wouldn't match up but you couldn't even tell that the windows were different from the inside of the outside. Overall, it was an excellent experience. It's not the cheapest but they're worth every penny and I would definitely recommend them.

Four Seasons came and installed my windows. However, I had one problem with one window where the guy that came out to measure the opening gave the wrong measurement. It took us a month and a half to get that window put in. It was ordered so when the guys come, they come in, take the windows out and then one arm of the company will come in and put the windows in. When they came to this window at my granddaughter's bedroom, they took the window off of the truck and it was half the size, so they had to close up the opening and then order the window. When the one that was reordered came in, it was also the wrong size, and they had to order again. But they put the rest of the windows in the house in, caulked them and cleaned up after themselves. They had their cloth down and their vacuum, and did a good job. I was just not pleased that the window was ordered wrong twice.

Four Seasons came with a really good presentation and detailed the efficiency of the windows, which turned out to be very false. The store manager was fine. Everything is fine while you're signing the contract and then things dissolve. I bought an entire 16 x 16 room including the glass ceiling and the quality was poor. The contractors were nice, but they were two months slow and took their good old time getting it done. I ended up with a very bad leak that got on the floor and mold was created underneath the finished floor. I approached them verbally, in writing and every way I can think of and their response was denial until such time I threatened a lawsuit. It was a royal battle to get them to fix it.

They came and found that it was indeed their workmanship that caused the leak, and it wasn't me. They brought a crew out and finally fixed the floor, but they only supplied the labor, not the materials. Also, they lied about the efficiency of the room and I ended having to spend an additional $3,000 to get special insulated drapes on the roof of the structure to keep the heat marginal. The air-conditioner was grossly underpowered for both heating and air-conditioning. I was deceived about the quality of the glass and the underpowered air-conditioner. It was a bad experience and I would not recommend them.

I left a phone number and out of the three people I found, the guy from Four Seasons was the only one who called me back. I wanted to replace the stationary screens in our sunroom and the aluminum back porch that I have. He brought a roll of a screen with him and a roll of rubber in his little tool and he was done in less than an hour. After he replaced the screens, he took my plastic panels that clip to the outside of the sunroom and he made a greenhouse. He took my aluminum frames with him and put the plastic in them in his shop and put them back. He came out and did everything and I didn't have a problem with him.

It was $600 for the screens and $600 for the plastic covers and I didn't have to rebuild the entire porch or take it off. His work was top-notch and one of the better works I've seen since there wasn't any damage done to the structure. I would recommend them to anybody that has the same kind of porch that I have on the back of my home.

The installers were nice, very pleasant and cleaned up as well. The work itself was good except for the finishing up of it. The windows themselves were good but I never got them certified because they didn’t put the stickers on them. I understood that was part of the deal whenever I had them installed. I paid for that but it was never done so I'm still not happy with it. I kept asking to send me the stickers to put on the window for the engineer to be able to finish certifying the window. I got a terrible note from them when they sent me those stickers. It was ugly.

I recently put in a sliding patio door and I was going to try and have it certified through them. The rep that certified my patio door said that he wouldn't be able to do it because I didn't have any documentation on the windows and whoever put that sticker on has to be certified. I emailed the people that was supposed to certify them several times and I never heard back from them. I would not advise anybody to use that company.

I had Four Seasons build me a sunroom. I got them because their quality was better than other places. They also gave me a tiled floor in that room that was part of the package, that was supposedly part of the pricing. It was a good selling point and it actually helped sell me. A guy from Four Seasons came, he had a book and explained everything. I was quite satisfied with that and I went ahead with the construction. It was done pretty quickly. The way it was done and the methodology, it was very good. I know a little about doing things and putting things together. So, what they did and how they did it was really done efficiently. I actually used the same contractor to do some additional work in my house after that.

Everyone whom I dealt with at Four Seasons was really, really good. The guys that did the job were very good too. I had a couple of suggestions, and kicked around a couple of thoughts, they're very amenable to that, which was good with me. It’s been at least three years now. The sunroom was well-constructed and we're enjoying it. There was absolutely no issue with it and I love it.

I've been aware of Four Seasons for a long time. I used it for a friend of mine and myself years ago when I had a home improvements business. I like their products and what they do, and that's what led me to have them do this job, where they enclosed an existing screen porch. I understand that they're a franchise, and this particular franchise gave me some problems, but the sales rep was fine and didn't have to sell very much. I knew what I wanted. I was familiar with the product as I educated myself about it, and we went over it. However, that's where I ran into knocking heads with the owner of the franchise.

I had contracted for floor to ceiling glass. But when they came in, there was the bottom piece, the second piece, and then the third piece. When he started putting the third piece in, he was finishing it off with a 12 or 13-inch piece of styrofoam installation. It looked like a drop-ceiling material. It was thicker, and I told him that wasn't what we've contracted, but I was told that that is what they had. The ceiling is eight feet and this is what it was. I told him that his problem is his middle piece is not the right height because what he had there was to keep the integrity of the room. His door height and window height are measured down from the same point.

So that little piece was a foot short because it only came through the top of the door. It didn't come to where it needed to come. So in order to make up the space, he had to eventually get the pieces up where necessary the way we contracted. It was a bit of wrestling match to get that done. He didn't even understand about how, cosmetically, when you're building a house, the wall height and the tops of your windows are supposed to be all the same height, a straight line around the room. That delayed the project about two weeks. I think the fact that I had a screen porch and my framing was all there, he didn't really have to frame anything out.

One of the things that I liked about the product, what the salesman told me was that my outlets could be flushed, could be recessed and the face of the outlet’s flushed with wall. It’ll work that way. I’ve got surface mounted outlets around the room. However, we had quite a bit of a problem with leaking and that, again, has a lot of cloaking in some places that cosmetically I’m not thrilled about. Still, I'm thinking of using Four Seasons again but it's with another franchise. We're buying a house out in the Western part of the state, and I'm talking to them about possibly putting a smaller room onto this house. We have to see everything at finances and like. Four Seasons is going to look into it.

Four Seasons has been around for a long time and I figured that it had to be decent or trustworthy. But I wasn’t aware that they subcontracted the window installation out. So if I ever had an issue, I'd get caught up between who I purchased it from and who installed it. And the windows could have been installed a little bit better. There are gaps between the molding and the window and when I try to open them, they get jammed.

The reps I spoke with were fine but the sales person should’ve inspected all the windows. Also, the contractors are very hard to understand since they speak very little English. They could’ve cleaned up a little bit better after they destroyed everything. I would advise my friends to get other estimates and look into the companies and make sure they’re dealing directly with the person that’s going to do the installation and that the person belongs to the company.

I looked to find who could replace them and when I was looking closely, I saw that it was Four Seasons Sunrooms that installed it. I called them and they sent someone out to do the replacement. A day or two after they did the install, there was a terrible rain and we noticed a bit of water. We thought somebody left something open, but when it rained again, we realized something was wrong. The installation was incorrectly done. I called Four Seasons Sunrooms and explained that we didn't realize the sun room was leaking. They sent somebody out and caulked it, but it continued to leak.

I called them again and they said they didn’t know what to do. I asked them to redo the installation because all of the caulking and the other things aren't working. The guy said he’d talk to his boss and then they’d give reasons why they couldn’t work, like the winter months or the weather. This went on for two years and after the emails and the person coming out, I almost gave up. It was a test of will and I got to a point where I’m going to either work around them or go to court. I want them to take the sunroom off and replace what they did. It’s embarrassing for holidays because the sun room is right off our kitchen and we have an open concept. We entertain a lot, we’ve got buckets out and we can't use the room. It was a nightmare and I'm very dissatisfied. We came to get through to them and when we do, we couldn’t get someone helpful. We built a new house and we wanted a real sunroom on it, not just a glass and porch. Four Seasons worked in the area. We worked with the salesman out of Houston and since it’s a new house, we didn’t have an existing house for them to come out and measure. So we were assured to take our house plans and design the sunroom to exactly match.

The technician they sent to install everything was really good. They installed it while the framing was torn up. As soon as we moved the walls up and the frames, the technician came out. Because we gave them our plans, they should’ve known what to expect or told us what to add. When the technicians got here, we had to go up and install framing for him to attach some sunroom. It seemed like we should’ve known all that before they got here. If the salesperson says we can work off your house plans, people shouldn't believe it. But that eventually worked out.

Then, after it got installed, it leaks in a lot of places. It leaks on the inside, the glass, and the roof and we had several people come out and tried to fix it. The biggest challenge we had was finding somebody in Houston that would actually answer our calls. We couldn’t get a clean response from the local office, it just went around and around. We finally wrote a letter to the corporate office of Four Seasons to the CEO and said, “If you guys want to run a company down here, you need some contacts.” After that, we got some contacts. Eventually, we got all the leaks sealed up. Now, we like the product and the view.

I always thought Four Seasons was good but what really made me went with them was seeing the models of it and how much heat reflects off the glass for our pool house. The product’s fantastic but the engineer got all freaky about the hurricane rating even though we’re not in the very coastal area. It took a while to get that settled and it just mainly dragged on and on and nobody seemed to care.

My interactions with the sales rep and the contractor had been great. I even still talk to the sales rep every now and then. However, after we got it, before too long, the local store had shut down so I don't have anybody local anymore. All I could do was call up to New York. But I didn't see much responsiveness out of the people there. Then on the delivery date, it got to be ridiculous. The products didn't arrive and ended up dragging for extra months. There wasn’t any way that I could talk to somebody either. There’s only one good guy. I was able to talk to that one vice president. I had to contact him twice and on the second time, he was able to make things happen.

In New York, service was lousy and their attitude was the biggest problem. They're like, “Why are you bothering me?” People should be ready to not believe anything New York says. Their employees need to get their attitude right. Down here in Texas, we don’t tolerate that kind of nonsense. If the people that live in that part of the country are used to that, well I’m sure not.

I've been happy with my sunroom which is my private den or man cave. Four Seasons built it a good 15 years ago. I met a rep, he asked me what I wanted and I explained it to him. We did a plan and we went out doing it. I only dealt with their company because of his professionalism and the years they've been in business. But about three years ago, I replaced all the glass panels on the roof because they were getting moisture in between the glass. I had Four Seasons do it. A very nice man with his son who works with him came. The man was great and we had a great interaction.

I took a beter tinted glass and we did half then I called them a week later to do the other half. He said, "We'll do it this way to see how you like it. And if you like it, fine." I agreed and I called the following week to tell them to do it all because it looked great. This was in Long Island, New York that this happened. I'm happy with the way the project came out. It was beautiful. I love Four Seasons Sunrooms and they did right by me.

However, Four Seasons was supposed to send me a warranty for the glass panels but I never received anything from anyone. I called and I explained it to them but I never got the guarantee for the five years. Sometimes, I might call Long Island and I get them calling from Oklahoma. You don't know where you're calling and you need the information, which I never got.

Also, because the sunroom was built at an angle, when it snows and ice gathers during the winter, the ceiling slips from the rods that they've put to separate their glass panels. So I'm getting a leak from the roof to the metal rods underneath the tile floor. I had a tile break two weeks ago. When I lifted it, there was water between the tiles and the whole floor was rotten. I had just put the house on the market and it was after that I found this problem. But other than those, my experiences with Four Seasons were great and I'm in the process of correcting the sunroom and I'm going to call them again. I recommend them.

I was at a home show and Four Seasons Sunrooms & Window had a promotion at the event. Their sales rep showed us the different features and options and I liked what he was offering us for our sun porch so we had them install a screened in porch. There were a couple of challenges with the way the porch was laid out and the contractor suggested some options. We were going to put the door in one spot and he suggested we put in another which we're glad we did. He also put a dog door in for us. We have three dogs and they use the dog door all the time which is great. We just open the door and they can go in and out. The work that they've done was very good and it has lasted well. I had it since 2013 but when you look at it, it's like new. It has good quality. It was also easy to deal with them. They did what they said. If we have another job to do, we’d call them back.

Four Seasons said that if I wash their window there wouldn't be any watermark and I liked that. Furthermore, their sales representatives answered all my questions and gave me a good discount. Also, their price compares with other brands. Four Seasons' products are of good quality but aren't highly expensive. And so I had their windows installed in almost a whole hall.

While they used subcontractors to do the work, the quality was okay. Their work was neat though it had to be done two times. The first time, they finished but there were two windows to be installed on top of the roof so they had to come back. Four Seasons used another contractor this time and that contractor was no good. A window installed by the second contractor was not installed as well as the previous windows. And so I called Four Seasons and they asked another contractor to come and fix it. Nevertheless, I'm happy with my experience with them.

I had different people come out and the demonstration that Four Seasons provided made me go for windows replacement with them. The quality of the work is okay. I haven’t had any problems with it but the windows were overpriced. I was unhappy with finding out that the local distributor was out of business and the closest one is Houston. But other than that, I'm happy with the windows and the way they worked. The house was built in ‘72 and it was mass produced with the house and it had single pane and the air was blowing through here like there were no windows.

We turn the heat on or the air conditioner on and it takes a long time for it to come back on because the house has maintained the temperatures. Four Seasons made a difference in the house and I'm happy with that. I own a duplex and I had Four Seasons do the part where I live and I had another company do the rental side and there is definitely a huge difference in the quality of the products. For somebody who is living in their home, I would highly recommend them.

The Four Seasons sales guy that came over, George, was pretty good. He did the test with the heat lamp, showed me how the frame that holds up the window was made, and how we had installation going inside. He was pretty detailed. I had a couple of companies come over and Four Seasons really stood out by the fact that they're manufactured in the US. They were great until six months ago.

My windows were holding up pretty good, and I was recommending Four Seasons to everybody. One of my neighbors, James, was shopping for some windows, but he heard a lot of people say that buying new windows are no good. So, he asked me how my windows are holding up. I told him that the windows are great, the frames are sturdy, and they are holding up. We're standing there looking at the back of the house and he points out and said, “Have you noticed that you have a six pane in an eight-pane window?” And that’s how the whole thing happened. I was preaching to sell when the problem came up. An eight-pane window that belongs to my third floor was placed on my second floor, and the six-pane window that belongs to my second floor was placed on my third floor.

So, I called them and they were supposed to come back and swap them out, but it seems like it's just dragging along. It's frustrating. I spoke to John on Tuesday, last week and he told me that his guy was sick. But he made it seem like I shouldn’t be upset. If one of their workers is sick, they should contact me and let me know. I really have no problems with my windows, but the customer service right now is just not doing it for me. Overall, it was a bittersweet experience. They are about to lose somebody that was really in love with them.

I was in the process of trying to find new replacement windows, and we went to a home show and got brochures and information there. I had about 15 people from different companies come to the house. One came from Four Seasons and did the presentation like everyone else. He was very professional and didn’t push us on the sales. He presented what he had, helped us think out of the box and helped us solve the problems we're having. We had a bunch of other contractors bid out with prices ranging from $8,500 to $42,000 and Four Seasons' price came in right at our budget and right in the middle of that range.

Four Seasons had one crew come in and did the job in a day then cleaned up after. Then another guy came in this month and caulked everything in. When all was said and done, they came back and checked everything and made sure we were happy. We've been happy with the product and I enjoy it every day. Everything was great from sales through installation and with the follow-up. I've been in the construction business in the past and I felt Four Seasons were somebody we could trust and believe in. We've told a lot of people about our experience with them.

I drove by Four Seasons on the interstate and their main office is local to me. Plus, from what I could find, their warranty was the best. I got the sunroom and the quality of work was very good generally. It's also a good product overall but at least a year ago, their support hadn't been good. In one of the windows, the screen was not quite square. So they said they could take the roof off and realign it, or just cut me another screen. I told them the latter option was fine. It was a small difference and it’s stupid to take the thing apart. It ultimately got resolved, but it took forever. They also came out and fixed a couple of minor things, like the door latch wasn’t working correctly.

However, they're very difficult to get a hold of and I always have questions because I didn't get the regular roof. I got the aluminum roof and they put the sealant in the cracks and I thought eventually the sealant might come out. Will I get a leak? These are just things I’ve never asked anybody. I had another question, "Could I walk on the roof of the sunroom in order to repair some siding?" It took me two weeks before I finally got the answer "yes".

They sub out a lot of the work and I get that. That's fine but they're subcontractors so I wouldn’t be reaching them. There should be people right in the main office, where they can get back to us quickly when we have an issue. I know they have to keep selling to keep the business going and it is very difficult, but the support is extremely important too. Without good support, that takes away from their overall score. It’s just constructive critique. A friend’s got the same product and overall, we're happy with it.

We were looking for quotes on the internet and we looked up four different companies in Google. We then chose Four Seasons Sunrooms because of the pricing and customer care. Plus, they were local. We got a window in the three bedrooms, a sliding door and a front door. The sales rep explained that I have the same window as Sears and the other companies we called but they weren’t labeled under Anderson Windows which was $2,000 more expensive. They made the window. It just didn’t have their name on it because they were making it for Four Seasons.

When Four Seasons Sunrooms came in, I was out of town but my husband was sending me pictures. They were beautifully installed from the pictures and I was all giddy. But when they delivered the window, one was cracked and the rep didn’t notice it until he had already pulled out the old window and he said, “Look, I have to reorder your window but I’m going to put this window in and I’m going to show you on my computer where I’m reordering it and be back in seven days to put it in.” And he was back before I got back into town. I’m usually gone 14 days at a time and my husband said it wasn’t even five days and he was there. So, it was a nice service.

The sales rep was punctual and told us ways that we could get $100 off our windows by referring friends and neighbors. He was very well dressed and personable. He took his time to explain things to both of us. If we had questions, he answered. It was a $5,000 purchase. When we were charging it on our credit card, he even explained that they could only do $1,500 charge at a time or it would decline. He explained all that that we would see four charges come through, not to worry. They even texted me each time they were going to charge. That was helpful knowing that I could look at my credit card statement online and see how much they were charging and total it up.

My husband is picky about contractors and he was really happy we chose them because they were clean about their work and explained what they were going to do. They said it would take six hours and it took six hours and 30 minutes. They were on time and that’s a big thing with my husband. And then when they came back to put in the window, they called him a day before and arranged to meet him at the house. He never installed windows or doors before and he’s a do-it-yourselfer but he didn’t want to tackle that DIY project by himself. The rep explained to my husband why they were doing certain things and he’s like, “Next time, I could do it on my own. I didn’t realize it was that easy.”

Those windows and doors were one of the reasons our house sold so much. The change on our house was like night and day. We bought our house at $90,000 and sold it for $180,000. Part of that was because we invested in those windows and doors. My family said we should have done this when we first moved in but we enjoyed it. The salesman told us that if we’re not going to stay in the house for more than 5 years, we shouldn’t put in windows and doors because we wouldn’t get a return on our investment. We stayed about three years and doubled our money. We got our investment back on it. That's why I gave their card to the neighbor next door and they have put in windows and doors from them.

Not many companies do sunrooms. I saw Four Seasons in the showroom, talked to them about it, we worked out a good price and decided to do it. I had a deck in the back in the second level and I wanted to do it myself and make it into a sunroom so it’s basically a roof, a front wall of glass and a little door on the side so it's only two sides. The quality was good but I still have an issue. In the glass part, they had to do this cricket on the existing bedroom roof and what they did let water into the bedroom. It’s not fixed yet and it’s just covered right now. Certain storms come in a certain way and the water manages to get in there.

The other issue I had was it was supposed to have symmetry with two windows opening out opposite each other. They gave me two that open to the left. And the thing wasn’t even done and they said, “No, we can’t switch now. We’d have to order it. Those are more expensive. They made it non-symmetrical. And the window, when it opens now, it’s behind the door so that doesn’t help. We’ve had a couple of problems with their door, too. They came back a couple of times and it ended up being the same thing. We finally got it fixed ourselves though.

We had a good interaction with the sales rep. He was very enthusiastic about it and that’s where the window thing went wrong. He said, “We’ll do it this way.” But he didn’t draw it that way. When I talked to the contractor that was doing it, he said that’s not that way in the drawing. So it wasn’t the contractor’s fault. The contractor did good work, too. He didn’t work fast but it was fine and he was a nice guy.

He was knowledgeable but there was some misalignment of screws and the windows didn’t open quite right. He did it in a couple of days. They left a mess when they left. We really didn’t get complete satisfaction from the company about that. I did not like the sales representative very much either. It was very high-pressure. I would not deal with him again. Four Seasons Sunrooms had a lifetime guarantee which led me to believe that they would come back if there were any problems so I went with them. They replaced all the windows at the house. They were professional and the windows themselves were fine but the installation is the problem. The strains are not fitting and the way they framed the window on the outside, they used some sort of poplar wood which didn't look right. It was a ranch house in Texas, I live in Florida right now. There are still some issues that are unresolved. It’s been a few years since they've been installed but the company is supposed to make good if there is something you're not satisfied with. So, I would give them a call when I'm back in Texas. I was interested in doing my house in Florida as well but I want to make sure they fix any problems in Texas first.

We visited Four Seasons Sunrooms' showroom near Downsview, Northern Toronto and talked to the salesman. It wasn’t the cheapest. It was reasonably expensive but we were looking for a good job and a good product. Price was not our prime consideration. It was the service and the quality of the product principally and their ability to install it in a timely fashion because when they took the old window out, the whole side of our townhouse was exposed. There was nothing there. It had to be done in one day. The sales representatives were knowledgeable and courteous. That also would’ve been part of the equation as to why we chose them.

The contractors were knowledgeable and courteous too. They were very good to work for. We went to other high-end window applications, including a company called Ridley Windows that we had just spent a six figure number for a new residence that we built up on Lake Joseph. But, we chose Four Seasons over Ridley Windows even though we had this big job with Ridley. The project was reasonably tough to do because the other window manufacturers that I spoke with said, “Oh gee this is a tough job.” This have been right in Four Seasons’ strike zone in terms of what they do and it was in solarium-type applications. I’ve owned other residences with solariums in them, similar to this one although this one was smaller.

We had the window installed and they had to take out the old one. It was sort of a ceiling window as well as a wall window. It was almost like a sunroom application where the windows float up and face the sky as well as straight out on the walls. It was fairly complex and the biggest risk in that was leakage. The problem with leakage with these windows just because they’re exposed to the rain hitting right from the sky, from the top is typical so to have them come in and say “No no, we can do this and we can do a good job.”, and after about three years, it’s clear that they have done a good job. It's impressive. So far so good and we're very happy with it. I’d certainly recommend them to a friend.

Four Seasons Sunrooms is a Long Island based company and I am a Long Island based resident so I was familiar with them. In my evaluation and assessment of the different windows and value for the window, their window technology is the best value for the money in the market today. Even if it was more expensive, it would still be the best value in the market. Aside from windows for a house that I was re-having, I also purchased from them the kitchen cabinet and installation for that particular project.

The product itself was excellent. The installation was done extremely professionally and very clean. They did certain things that I would have considered to be above and beyond, that they consider to be part of doing their business. There was a windowsill that has been attacked by carpenter ants. So, they replace the windowsill as part of their installation. Other companies may have left the windowsill and said, "Well, it wasn't part of the job. Leave it to somebody else to do."

I had a few different interactions with different sales people from the organization. The one gentleman that no longer works there was the one that I ended up buying the windows from. He did a good job of probing other things that I might be interested in that Four Seasons could provide, which led to the discussion about the kitchen. He literally got the sales person for the kitchen cabinets to come to the job site at about 11:00 at night and then we stayed there until 2:00 in the morning with that person. So, that's extraordinary and maybe even over the top. He wouldn't leave until I agree to buy the product.

Since that project, I have considered the Four Seasons windows in my own home. I got the pricing for that about a year or so ago. I did not go through it at that time because I didn't want to spend the money. But again, the salesperson that came for that particular instance was good. When I declined to go through with it, they got the sales manager involved who came to the house to discuss why I wasn't going to go through with it. He was trying to get me to go through it but at the same time, was not overbearing with the fact that I was not ready to go through with it. I'm in sales myself. From the standpoint of doing technical sales at a whole different approach, I would consider Four Seasons to be a company I would work for.

I do recommend them to people that I know, people who mention "we're going to do windows" and so forth. I tell them about my experience and I tell them about the product which again, in my analysis, the reason I went with them regardless of the sales people and everything else. From my analysis of their product, even before I knew how expensive or that it was less expensive, I was sold on the product.

We needed new windows so we did some research on the computer. I made some phone calls and we had lots of people come in and do their spiel. We picked Four Seasons Sunrooms because they’re comparable to other windows. Also, the sales rep who got here was a friend of my son. But I didn't know that until after they came to the house. He was great. He answered every question, and he made himself very available and spent lots of time with us in explaining. He also checked up after the installers were here. He even came over while the installers were putting the windows in and came back after all they were done to make sure that everything was done correctly and that we were satisfied. He brought me a bottle of wine too.

The Four Seasons contractor was amazing and efficient as well. They went above and beyond on what most contractors would do. Before, I've had siding put on my bay window area and things like that, but I was never quite satisfied. I love my windows. I got 24 of them and they’re excellent. Our utility bills dropped tremendously. Before I had my windows done, I couldn't drop them. You have to wash the outside to be able to drop them. I have a bay window that I can open and these windows stay clean on the outside. I had a pleasant experience with Four Seasons. They were very stressless. You always run into something when you hire a contractor—but Four Seasons was great.

I had Four Seasons do a sunroom 25 years ago and for a while, I was disappointed because the windows didn't have the kinds of technology that they have now. They were very pushy then but we wanted the sunroom, and we did it. They made a lot of promises that didn't actually happen. It was a big job and it was over $25,000 then. I also had these custom drapes put in which they subcontracted, but I was a young homeowner and didn't know any better. I didn't have any recourse when those fell out and I have since pulled them out and had the glass redone.

Then, 5 years ago, I had the glass redone and it was like a different company. They were very helpful and kind. It was like getting a whole new sunroom and I gave them a referral because of this work. The quality of the workmanship on the repair was great and the repair guy that came and did the new windows was a real artist. A friend of mine saw it, wanted her sunroom redone too and she had it done. I was supposed to get a $100 but I never got it.

Four Seasons helped me do a sunroom a few years ago and it was perfect and exactly what I wanted. Their sales representative visited me a couple of times. I saw him doing the first study and the interactions I had with him went well and I was happy. I just have a bit of concern with my price because it was a bit on the high side as compared to my neighbor’s. Since my neighbor did it years ago, I said, “Oh, maybe the price increased over the years. That seems to be reasonable.” But when I referred Four Seasons to my friend, he said, “Oh, I paid a minimum basic at half your cost” and I don’t know whether it’s because the quality of my sunroom is higher or it is because of the material difference, but I haven’t heard about anyone who has a price as higher than mine. I should’ve called Four Seasons Sunrooms years ago. There’s a little reservation on the price but on the bet, it’s all great.

Also, the guy who took care of the project did well. Recently, there was a strong wind in the area and it flipped the insulation from the roof. I texted the contractor about that frustrating news and he came and helped me flip it back and nail it down for free. If we found issues, I would text him and he would say, “Oh, let’s take a look.” And then before I know it, as I open the windows, “What? It is already done?” Somehow, they came when I was out. It was a good experience with that contractor and overall, Four Seasons did well.

We've had two sunrooms built by Four Seasons Sunrooms. They were both satisfactory. The first one leaks but it has panels that's going to leak. The second sunroom is better than the first so they must be improving their techniques. On the second one, there was a problem of encroaching into a setback and it was a hassle with the neighbor but the tech worked it out to our satisfaction. We'll use them again if we ever need another sunroom.

I've known about Four Seasons Sunrooms for a long time and they've always had a good reputation. We had them do a sunroom, however, the quality of work was not really what we read online. As a matter of fact, we had quite some problems. They had some really shady characters coming and doing the work. One guy was cutting things up and then when the platform was made, he made it too low then patched it instead of redoing the whole thing so the windows were upside down and leaking left and right. They came back here eight times. Also, they were not exactly the most responsive. Instead of two weeks as they said, it took us a year and a half to complete the project. Now, it’s three years later but we still have an issue.

The sales representative that we worked with left shortly after we signed the contract. We tried to get in touch with him but and we never heard back from him. There was, however, a guy who in charge there who was quite responsive. We had a leak and I was quite happy that they came within two days once we called them and they fixed one part. They still have to come to replace the window and we're still waiting now for it as it was supposed to be ordered.

They also had to replace the door that goes into the house three times. We agreed on what they were going to do. They had to cut through the wall and take things out, but they put a door in that was opening the wrong way. They said they were going to replace the door but they came back with exactly the same thing and they made it too high so that even now, we have a two-inch panel that you have to step over when you walk out. We're used to it but anybody who comes to our house trips because they're not used to coming through the door and having to lift their foot all the way up to get over the panel. It's fixed on the outside, but they couldn't fix the inside anymore. They had to replace the door many times before it was done. I would never recommend Four Seasons to anybody because they were bad.

I went online and requested a quote from Four Seasons. Then, their rep came, explained it like a presentation, had his demo and we made a deal. I had all windows for my house replaced. The contractors were pretty nice guys. They were cooperative and they did a very good job. We were satisfied with the quality but we have two complaints, one minor and the other a bigger complaint. The vinyl part in the bottom of one of the windows for my bedroom is not straight and bending. Also, one of the stoppers broke. But if I compare for energy efficiency, I would definitely recommend them because, to me, the glass looks really tough, heavy-duty and the space in between of the two layers is thicker as compared to Home Depot and others. Also, I was told the color won't change and I think it is the same. It was a very good experience. The quality as stated in the demo almost is similar and that's what we were expecting. Excellent overall quality.

Four Seasons has a building with a store front out here. We would see it by driving by. Then we looked at reviews online and then we had somebody come out and give us an estimate. What they offered was probably like Lowe's and Home Depot, which could be less formalized than whatever they had. We thought about it and we were satisfied enough. We didn't wanna keep looking so we just went with it.

The sales guy was nice and really helpful about helping us understand all the different options. He had a lot of pictures and he was like, "We can do this and we can do that." And we wanted something non-standard, and it took me a while to figure out what it was. He suggested a screened porch. But we thought we might want the glass later on. We made sure it was done in such a way that if we wanted to come back and put the glass in later, we could. He wasn't being particularly pressuring either. Then they handled all the sub-contractors. The only thing we had to do was the electrical. The contractor was nice but he was kind of weird, but they did a good job and they cleaned up. The quality of work was good. And we're happy with it, we like the sun room.

The first experience I had with Four Seasons is when I went to their showroom to put a sunroom in. They said they could do it for $12,000 but when the salesman got to our house, it went up to $25,000. Are they kidding me? Nothing made sense so I said no. It wasn't a matter of $500, $1,000 or even $2,000. It's more than doubled. I asked him to justify the increase in price but he couldn't. We hadn't sorted that out and my impression was that they wanted to come into the home and get in there. Once they’re here, they would be able to wiggle their way in but that doesn't fly with me. So I told him that he's not going to get the job. Meanwhile, I went to another company which was less than a couple of miles away and I hired them to do the job for $12,000, they did a beautiful job. That was almost 18 years ago.

The second experience that I had with Four Seasons was really bad. A very dear friend of mine works there and I had a business relationship with them for many years. So I decided to hire them to put a bathroom in for me. I have one bathroom and I couldn't be without my bathroom for weeks without the need to move into a hotel. They assured me it wasn’t going to be a problem but it turned to be the nightmare of my life.

My friend, who works in shipping, told me to let the people from Four Seasons come in. I figured she was going to oversee the work with no problems. It was a Bath Fitter type of thing. I talked to a salesperson, a very sweet girl, but she wasn't helpful, she wasn't trained properly. If she was trained properly, I would have hired her myself to work. I'm a Sales Director, I travel all over the country and I know about sales and customer service. She had a manager with her at that time who actually should have overseen everything. The quotes that they had given me were so far off and it wasn't funny. The prices were just ridiculous. This is like déjà vu so I said it wasn’t going to work.

I was livid and they called me back and said they’re going to send somebody else to go over everything, I agreed. The guys they sent said they could do it but they have to go out and get some new materials. They made promises they couldn't keep, so I said to just forget about the whole thing. I really didn’t have the time to spend and at that point, they didn't even know what they were doing. They have to put their act together and should not bother calling me anymore.

The vice-president called me and wanted to talk. He said that they already quoted me and they’re going to stick with it, that I’m going to get a great bathroom for less than what I should be paying. I said it was their mistake and they said “Yes, but we're gonna stand by our word do it anyway. And because we don't want you unhappy, you're gonna get it." I gave some recommendations on how they should move forward with the sales team. It's really bad. I financed the remodeling and I paid it off but the finance company never even got back to me. I had to call several times. Then, customer service called me and said, "Well, you know, we are doing this for less than what we should be getting paid to do and you should be grateful." I said that it’s not my fault and it’s not my problem.

Four Seasons called back again and someone came to see me. It was just one fiasco after another. They had two of their vice-presidents come in. I said that they’re in my living room and if they’re going to sit and insult me, I'm going to throw their ass out the door. I also said that I will not tolerate the situation. They are in Service and Contracting and they’re telling me I’m getting it for less than I should be. I wouldn't mind paying had they come here and told me what was required, to begin with. But then, they changed their mind. They apologized and said they’re going to do it.

They sent a team and they first said it was going to take them one or two days to do it. I said it was fine. But they called again and said they couldn’t do it and that it would take them three to four days. I told them I can’t take off from work for this. So, they said they could do it on the weekend. Then, they called back and said they can't do it on the weekend. They can only do it during the week. I said no one works in my house without me present or my husband.

I waited another three days for them to call me back and said that they’re going to work on the weekend. The team gets here but they got the wrong merchandise. I had to wait a couple of days to have the right stuff. They were going to do the whole bathroom but they thought that they were to do the shower unit only. I thought my husband was going to take them out and just put them in front of a firing line because it was just horrible. The end result was shoddy so I had to call them back.

They guaranteed that there would be no molds and no seams forever but now, it had molds. They sent a guy who was very nice and he keeps re-caulking. I also asked them to put a new window in since it was filthy. They had to replace the window but it was still where it shouldn’t be. When I have time, I'm going to have the whole bathroom done over again by a reputable company.

I know they have issues with other customers who were complaining. You have to learn from your experiences and sometimes, it's very difficult to hear these things and see them but it is what it is. They have to get better. When you put a salesperson out there, that person has to represent the company in the best possible way and be very knowledgeable. Because you're going into the homes of people and you're representing the company and they're spending thousands of dollars and they're hard-earned dollars.

They can only do so much and the company has to make a profit. But they have a lot of problems and I hope that they certainly have resolved their issues. They have some beautiful showrooms and these things cost a lot of money. Maybe somebody just underbid or undersold it. This was the first year they were doing bathrooms. It's my understanding that this was a relatively new line for them. They didn't have so much experience. So, trial and error type of thing.

The owner called me and he apologized. He was very nice. Barbara and their customer service were also very nice. Some of them tried to take a little license with me and I shot back very quickly. I have to say they tried to do what they could and tried to make everything right. It was just a culmination of a lot of errors, poor management and not enough experience and I'm not happy with what they did and they got paid, regardless. I would never recommend them for anything. I would never go back.

Four Seasons Sunrooms installed all of our windows. We did it in two sections. We did the front half of the house and then the back half. First time was in 2010 and the second one was in 2014. The second time they came back, it took forever to get them and they kept sending the wrong stuff, complaining about how far the house was. None of it was very professional. They had to reorder one of the windows and we discovered they were made in New York. I don't have anything against New York but it was an overall issue for them trying to get it all done.

When it took them so long, it was like they completely forgot about us. When I told them I was fed up with it and I wasn’t going to complete paying them unless they knock some of the money off because it was ridiculous, I was told, “Well, you have to understand how much it’s cost us.” I said. “I don’t have to understand a thing because you’re not listening to me.” They knocked $1,000 off of it but we didn’t get our certification. It was a nightmare.

The windows look nice. However, we don't know if the windows were done correctly and if they're windstorm certified or not because the people who were supposed to come out and certify them never came. We called Four Seasons Sunrooms and they gave me the name of the place that was supposed to do it but they never returned my phone calls. We’re concerned at this point if one of them were to break, we’d have to contact Four Seasons to get them fixed. But since they were not interested in following up and doing what they were supposed to do, I don't know if they would stand behind the guarantee they supposedly have. If we could go back and do it over again, we would not have chosen them. It was overpriced and we didn't get everything that we were supposed to get. I told everybody who has asked me about windows not to use them.

Four Seasons Sunrooms' sales rep came and was trying to get me to buy the window from them. He described all of its features, showed that it was supposed to be hurricane-proof and that it was good at insulating. I had been to Sears, Home Depot and some other remodeling companies and thought that Four Seasons was the best. I felt that their product was superior to others. They finally got to a price where we could agree so in the end, the installation crew came, took out all the old windows and put the new ones in. That was 12 windows and it's going on three years that it's been installed.

There was one problem I had where a squirrel ate through the vinyl in the window and the frame had to be replaced. They came and priced it out and took care of it. Within about two months, they had it redone so I'm okay with it. It's pretty solid, soundproof, and so far, I'm happy with it. They're professional and they do what they supposed to do. They just tried to do the hard sell at the beginning. If they could keep their prices down to something more competitive, they'd be getting more customers.

But afterward, it was like a fight to get them to pay. When they came to assess the whole situation, they gave us a price and then they kept saying they have to pull the tree stump out. They should have thought of that. We got the price and it kept getting added on. Then, there was the piping which they said I should have told them.

They went and dug my foundation and they cut up all of our electricity to our house and all the tubing for our water system. I don't think they fully paid to fix our water system and it required extra money from us to get all of our water. Then, the room kept leaking and even today, the room doesn't hold heat. We kept calling and they came out but it was like pulling teeth. They also told me that I couldn't put the heating system under the tile but I found out that I absolutely could. So my room is freezing all the time and it doesn't retain heat. There were a million problems and the experience was not fun. I love my room but it wasn't easy getting it.

We had to replace all the windows in my house and I already signed the contract with Sears but I had 48 hours to undo it. I told the guy from Four Seasons who came first about the contract with Sears and he said to let him show what he can do. His price was higher than Sears but he agreed to lower the price to match Sears. I'm sure Four Seasons try to sell for as high a price as they can but at the same time, they're not going to walk away from a sale. The work he did was very good. I had a bit of an issue with one of the windows but they fixed it. It's still an issue but it's one of those things when you have to be tricky to get it closed. It's not a window that I open and close a lot so I really don't stress out about it much.

I had to change contractors midway through the deal but it didn't affect the outcome of everything. I'm pretty happy with my windows. I had single-pane windows and now they're double-pane. The new windows definitely made a difference in terms of my air-conditioning, heating bill and the noise factor. I dealt with Sears before and it seemed like Four Seasons had a much better product. They are a good company just basing on their reputation.

Four Seasons gave us what we thought was a good price and they seemed to know what they were doing so we got windows and two doors. The sales rep was fine, the installation was fine once we finally had it, and we like the windows but in between it was horrible. The installation was months later than they said it was going to be. They never talked to us while the windows were being made. We went through a whole season of heat and cold in between. We had already given them the money so we didn't know what to do. If they had called us once every two weeks even to tell us what was going on, that would have made it totally different. But we had to call them up and nobody returned our call. The administration of the office that we dealt with, in Campbell or San Jose, was changed all the time. There was never the same person there that we ever talked to. It was absolutely terrible.

They were making the windows somewhere else and we never got a straight answer why it took so long. When they finally said they were done, we were so happy we decided to just get them installed. It turned out we really liked the windows. They made the windows similar to what we had liked, with the diamond pattern. The people who came here did them all very quickly. They act like they're supposed to and the installation went fine. Everything that we ordered was there and the doors are fine, too. But I would never ever recommend it again to anybody.

We have sunrooms in two consecutive homes that we built. Our first contractor took us out to the Four Seasons' place in Western Toronto, and the experience was pretty good the first time. However, the second one was terrible. Word was that they were closing up business in Toronto and no one seemed to care anymore. Four Seasons was a shame and sorry business and they never came when they were supposed to. They disappeared for long periods of time while we were trying to get the house finished.

The quality of the sunroom is satisfying, but the process was pretty painful. Four Seasons went through many reiteration of the design, and the project was delayed for half a year. Basically, there was no communication. I don't have a layout of the contract that I signed in place, but we paid a couple of deposits already and we weren't able to get all of it. They didn't really compensated me. The whole problem stemmed from Four Seasons themselves and the wrong personnel doing the wrong thing. It will be nice if there will be follow-ups after the whole thing was done, but there hasn't been given the experience we had.

A couple of people in our community had Four Seasons installed. Then, we got a recommendation from our neighbors so we had Four Seasons Sunrooms replace all the windows in our house. They did the presentation with the heat lamp and another gentleman came and measured. The only problem we had was that one of the windows had an arch at the top and they had to redo that window about three times before they got it. It's been at least four years since we had them install our windows and we haven't had a problem. They're a great product and I'd recommend them to anybody that wants them.

When I went to Four Seasons’ showroom right down the block to have some of our windows and doors changed, I got talked into building an outdoor patio. They were working on it for about three months and a $10,000 deposit. Their rep was great because I was assured that they had all the experts to get us the variance since I don’t know my driveway run a lot to dig into it. It took about a couple of months before we finally figured out that the patio wasn’t going to work anymore and I was really hoping to get something done. So after that, and for me to get my money, we went back to working on the windows and doors and I ended up spending $30,000.

I was told the windows were going to be done in one day, so I took the day off. The contractors started working on the windows and about halfway through, they had people and they started telling me they weren’t going to be able to do it. They ended up calling a crew from somewhere else to come in and do some more work but they still couldn’t finish. They told me that they had to come back the next day and this was a problem for me since I wasn’t prepared to have the two days off or have someone come on such short notice like that, so I left them the keys to my house with nobody there so that they could finish the job.

But it wasn’t 100% finished, considering that I was told it would be in one day and it wasn’t. Also, there were footprints on some of the things and the finished product wasn’t as great as I was hoping it to be. Some of the cracks around the windows and door could have been plugged a little better. It looked like they hurried up because they had another job already set for that day and weren’t planning on coming after the second day. And I wasn’t very comfortable with them coming the next day to finish but I didn’t have a choice. It was January and my house was freezing, but they track us down every five minutes, so I don’t get away with very much. But I was still happy with the work itself and I like the quality of my windows.

We had our Four Seasons sunroom installed during one of my best seasons--summer. And ever since, my wife and I have enjoyed sitting in it in winter, summer, spring, and fall. We love it completely. It’s the best money we ever spent.

We've removed a set of French doors off of our kitchen and had the sunroom installed on that side. When Four Seasons came into the house and we made contract with them, they indicated that they would install the sunroom in about three weeks’ time, from start to finish. However, the contractor that Four Seasons have supplied to us took 11 weeks to install the sunroom. Then it took another week after the contractor left for Four Seasons to finish off the sunroom completely. It was not a good experience. But the contractor was working by himself and he did not have a crew. We also did not get a totally airtight seal that we wanted, but we got it now. When we were talking to the contractor while he was installing, all of his antics and laboring were not to Four Seasons’ standards. But we had some great experiences with him.

The contractor might have been a little deterrent but the product is most excellent. We enjoy the sunroom so much. It is a wonderful experience to have a room out there where we can go sit in, and enjoy a nice leisurely cup of coffee indoor. We sit there every day, enjoying a cup of coffee from 6:30 in the morning until what time at night. From our sunroom, we have what I estimate at least 20 acres of field, stream, wood, bush, beyond that. It's so wonderful to be able to look out at nature itself, and the sunroom allows us, in all four seasons, to simply look out on the landscape and the wildlife. I highly recommend Four Seasons to any Canadian or anyone.

He understood our situation at that time and everything we want done. Although, a couple of things could’ve been done a little better. The measurements were good, but their contractors didn’t do a very good job and I plan to go back. There are holes in the windows and it was like they didn’t want to spend too much time or use a lot of caulking. Also I'm concerned if ever I need replacements or repairs, because their business here in Houston went out of business or moved somewhere else.

However, there was a little bit of a friction between my carpenter and the installers because the installers said, "Oh boy, the carpenter's gonna have a hell of a time with this one" not knowing that the carpenter was standing right behind him. That was a little tense there for a few minutes. But that was squared away and luckily, I had an excellent carpenter. I've had it for a long time now and when Hurricane Sandy hit, a tree came down on it and did some damage. And even though that the unit's a little bit older, Four Seasons was very good about coming out for the replacements and fixing it. They're all up good as new.

It had leaks after it was finished and I had to have them back a couple of times to fix it but I'm not really impressed with it. When the homeowner's insurance underwriters came and took a look at it, their estimate for replacing it in the case of a fire was about 40% of what it cost me to put it on.

I called them again as they told me these windows were guaranteed for life. However I've called and spoke to several people in the company and they're telling me that it is not covered for leaks only if the window breaks. That is totally ridiculous. They said they would have to charge me to be fixed. And now till this day have 4 to 5 different spots where the windows leak every time it rains. Four Seasons Sunrooms was terrible. They didn't tell us any additional cost from the beginning and we paid them $900 per month. It costed us over $72,000 for the whole sunroom and it was just one thing. We were left to believe that everything would be covered from beginning to end but additional costs came up. The only thing that we had to purchase was the floor. But then when it came to doing the drywall, they were just going to leave the bricks and the roof open the way that it was. There was already a roof to begin with. They said it would mean additional cost to do the drywall for all of that. The guy they subcontracted to do the drywall said he will do that and he did finish it. But now there's a leak on the roof because there's water damage on the ceiling.

The other thing was when they had subcontracted the work, the guy was quite messy as far as leaving two of the nails. I was getting in the driveway while he was doing that so I ended up getting a nail in the tire. I had to change that tire because they couldn’t just plug it in with the hazard of it blowing up on me when I was driving. When I contacted Four Seasons, the project manager put that forth and said, “Send us the bill and we'll take care of it.” But nothing ever happened, and I was so livid. I phoned them back and he said to me, “Oh, when everything is going your way, you're really nice, and when everything doesn’t go your way, you're quite nasty.” I said, “Exactly what is it that you’ve done for me thus far?” I said, “You think you’ve paid for the tire that I've replaced? You haven't. Any concern that I've had, you’ve not addressed it.” So it's very bad.

Then after that, the windows were rattling like crazy. It was almost like the entire section was open because of the number of flies and everything that were coming through was incredible. When I called Four Seasons in Toronto we found out that it's already gone belly-up so we had to call another Four Seasons location. When we called them, they said, “Oh, we don’t really come out, and it doesn’t sound like it's any sort of like a defect.” So I went out and just got one of those water stripping seals, and I sealed all around the opening or the seal where the screen goes. That cut out all of the flies and everything coming into the room and therefore into the house.

Then the next year, we were getting letters from Hydro One saying, “What is it that’s going on in your home that’s making your energy cost going up so high? You're like 10 times or 12 times over your neighbors.” So, I called them and we had asked several times about the cost of heating that room because it was being heated by electricity. He said, “Oh, no, no. It's only gonna make a difference maybe $20, $30 at the most to the heating price or the bill that you're receiving.”

When we were getting billed about $800 every month, we were just floored not knowing what the hell is going on. My Dad had even asked before they put the electrical unit, “Can we do gas because that would be cheaper to run?”, if it was possible. The rep said, “Oh, no. We can't do gas. We did it before and it didn’t turn out to be very energy-efficient,” and so on and so forth. They went ahead and put the electric unit in. After the second year, we decided to turn it into the gas unit. Now, it's about $20 more to my heating bills compared to having it left with the electric.

We will definitely not refer anybody to Four Seasons. Number one, it was very expensive. And then, the way that the contract was signed, we had just signed it not knowing anything or even comparing the prices. We were already locked in because the rep said, “Oh, you don’t need to shop around.” So that one month waiver where we would cancel the contract, we've already signed it not knowing what we were signing. All in all, it definitely was not a pleasant experience dealing with Four Seasons.

We have a couple of issues regarding the electrical and the interface between the sunroom and the existing house. When it rains, the breaker pops. There's water getting into some of the electrical connections that the contractor left behind. The stuff that did not work 100% is a fault that had to do with the contractor's work, having very little to do with the sunroom design which provides the shell of the building. But the sunroom is great.

We looked for window replacement people on the internet and saw Four Seasons Sunrooms. They weren't the cheapest but we liked the mechanics and the profile of the window best. We had replacement windows from them. The overall quality of the initial installation was fine. But I had a problem with the window.

We have a really big house and we have really tall windows so I hire a window cleaning company. The little gentleman that I hired, that has always done our windows here, said "I'm having difficulty with about six of these screens. I can't get them to pop in correctly".

I have been communicating, back and forth, with someone at Holbrook, New York. I said specifically in my original email that I had screens that didn't fit. They wanted to know what was my warranty number and I didn't have any paperwork that showed a warranty number. I had this little trifle card that says my warranty, but no warranty number. I gave them the information of when we bought it and from who and they managed to get a warranty number. Then they wanted to know if these screens that are damaged, have ever been stored. I said, "If you would read my original email, you will see that I don't have damaged screens. I have some that just don't pop into place." I asked them in my original email if there is some trick to get things to go into place, that's all I needed to know. Then I could tell Mr. Window Washer guy how to do it.

They send me this email, gave me my warranty number and sent me a multi-page attachment asking, with window drawings on it, if I can pinpoint the windows where the screens were damaged. I mean those are just windows with measurements on them. I have three 12 foot windows in my living room that match and I pick those out because there's three of the same size. It's just been a hassle trying to get some service. The gentleman that they sent out argued with me for three days before I finally had to call back up to New York. He came out and he was surly, ugly and hateful. He was not a good representative of Four Season Windows. To sum it all up, the warranty service sucks. I'm just really disappointed. We paid a lot of money for these windows.

Four Seasons Sunrooms replaced all my windows. I have 30 something windows done. It was very good. But there was only one window that later on I kept seeing water in my dining room and didn’t understand what it was. Later on somebody came back and they forgot to cork the outside of that window. But other than that, it was great.

However I didn’t like that the screen pops out whole. If you want to stick your head out the window it’s very difficult to get the screens back in. I didn’t realize when I purchase them that it would be just one big frame. I can never open my window especially on second floor. I’ve never taken my screens out because I’m afraid to get them back in. There are these little plastic tabs on the screen and the very first time I actually pull the screen out, the tab broke. So I never took a screen out ever again. So anything that collects at the window sill, you can’t open up the screens to dust it out. I wish I would have realized the screens was one giant screen, cause I have some big windows.

It was all a quick process with Four Seasons. Once we got them, they came in, took out my old windows and put in the new ones. It took several hours and that's with them breaking out the old windows and cleaning up the mess so we didn’t have to worry about it, especially that we had young kids.

I really like the windows. They look very good. They add to the outside appearance of my 30-year-old house. People passing by were stopping and asking questions about them. We even had a cop stop by to see. They’re also tinted, so we don't have so much light glaring in. With the new windows, the sounds from the streets are a lot less too. Like last night, we had a rainstorm come through and I didn't hear the thunder and lightning like I used to all the time.

Four Seasons has been around quite a long time and I thought that they would actually be good. But they're horrible people and I would never do business with them again. They couldn’t deliver what they promised to me. I signed the contract, they ordered my part and they said it'll be in in three weeks. But it wasn’t in for three months. Every time I called them, no one had any kind of idea whatsoever what I was talking about or what my order was.

Finally, I took my option of canceling in a timely manner. I spoke to the president of Four Seasons and he apologized for all the mistakes and said that he will expedite my refund, which took six weeks and 14 phone calls to accomplish. It was on a credit card and all they had to do was go to their credit card machine and issue a refund, but they played around with me. At the very last minute they decided, “We can do this project for you tomorrow.” But I said no. There's plenty of people out there that will do what you want them to do. There are very few people or companies in the world that sell exclusive kinds of things. And I can't stand people that don’t treat people the way they expected to be treated. So I wouldn't recommend Four Seasons to an enemy because it's too painful to deal with these people.

We rebuilt our porch a few years ago and the experience was good. We were satisfied with the quality, the timing and the people at Four Seasons. The rep was very friendly and cooperative. There was some tardiness at the beginning with getting the people out to get the foundation in and that dragged on for a while, but eventually it was done well enough and it passed the code. Everything is still in place even after Hurricane Matthew.

I commend the sales people for trying to sell me a finished product that fit into my budget. For the most part, they did do that. However, the communication between the office, myself and the cabinet manufacturer was not good at all. "Unexpected costs", like the electrical needing upgrading, came up to about $5k (over my budget). The cabinets were too big to fit through the door (which then had to be cut down and brought in). The time to finish the project was delayed by about 3 weeks for various reasons unclear to me (and the office was not clear in explaining). I felt that I had to chase them to finish my kitchen. The final product was nice looking, but hindsight being 20/20, I would not use them again.

My wife was at one of Four Seasons' home shows in early 2013. She had a private meeting with one of the salespeople who quoted a price of $15,000 to $20,000 to put a small sunroom next to our dining room. They also made it sound like they could deliver something that was a superior product. The next time the salesman came to the house, he had a quote which was way higher. It was starting at $65,000. He said that if I act right away, they'll get it down to roughly $39,000. That's way too high a jump. I asked for the reason for this change and he couldn't give me any specific reasons. But he got his boss on the line and we came down to a new price of $30,000 but due to an oversight, that wasn't even honored. It went back up at a $36,000-level.

Then, beyond that, we were told that these structures were really good in all environments, including winter. It was finally finished towards the end of 2013 and it was a cold winter. We were getting ice buildup on the inside of the post of the sunroom and that was due to things like faulty installation. I ended up hiring a reputable independent engineering consulting firm to do thermographic analysis that showed that there were definitely gaps in the installation in the posts and that's why the cold was coming through. Four Seasons tried to fix it but it didn't work very well. I ended up hiring somebody else to fix it on my own. Those were the two of many things. But there's a whole bunch of construction related issues that I wasn't happy with like the quality of the workmanship was sub-par for sure.

I had to waste hundreds of hours fighting this. We ended up launching civil court proceedings against Four Seasons. Their former head of the Toronto office really refused to take any responsibility calling it a manufacturing issue so, I had to call their head office in Long Island, New York. There's a lot of phone calls and just a bad experience all the way around. I know it's a franchise operation and some local shops are probably better than others but the Toronto office was a complete disaster. I'm extremely dissatisfied and I wouldn't recommend them to anybody.

After 2 major leaks from the shower drain into our kitchen that ruined part of the ceiling, their plumber came back and resealed the drain. The third time was it. I called and Joe came. They did not secure the bottom of the drain. They had to shore up the kitchen ceiling, to prevent the base which had no support under it from breaking again. They fixed that and sheet rocked the area in the kitchen, putting only one coat on it. Now I have to hire someone else to finish the job, and repaint the ceiling. I was told that plumber was fired, but that didn't help me. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone or use them again.

The Four Seasons Patio Cover was done under a City of San Jose Building Permit and was successfully completed/signed-off in September 2014. This Patio Cover has been a wonderful, permanent addition to our home. However, we did not enclose the patio to turn the patio into a "sun room". The only disappointing feature of this Patio Cover is that the water-seal (1) between the Patio Cover and our house and (2) above the gutter/drainage side of the Patio Cover was not complete. Because the installation was completed before we had our 2014-2015 El Nino rainstorms, there was no way to tell how good the water-sealing process had been performed. The Patio Cover leaks in the above-two areas.

Secondly the exterior roof drainage system leaks underneath the gutter system, which is a design failure. Water is getting down inside the roofing material and transferring to an area under the exterior roofing that shouldn't have water.

Following the initial meetings, the signing of a contract, the proffer of deposit checks, the beginning of the actual construction, and the completion of what should have been a fairly routine project, we sorely regretted ever thinking this was a good idea. From first meeting until last adjustment took well over a year, most of which was spent just waiting for the company to do something - anything. The management, the ordering of the appropriate materials, and the actual construction were all fraught with incompetence and indifference. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.

They said we're going to cost me more money to handle. I ended up getting my own permit because they told me I would need a variance. (I did not) They were not going to leave all the garbage/waste from the job. Lucky for me my neighbor let me use her dumpster to get rid of it.

The channels for the electric wiring were filled so couldn't be used. There is a leak between the sunroom and house when it rains heavy or snows heavy. Told nothing they could do in inclement weather and cannot be found when dry. I even consulted a lawyer but he said the contract was worded so that it would cost me thousands even if I didn't follow through. I live in the village, they handle the permits. When I told them how unhappy I was with them they said I should have checked with them because they had nothing but complaints. The worst experience/purchase with a company I have had.

This actually happened several years ago - we were looking into weather proofing with new windows and had a Four Seasons rep come to the house. It wound up being around $5000 for three windows - living room - dining room - and kitchen. I actually cancelled because I thought it was too expensive but my husband wanted to go ahead thinking they were the best on the market - the rep came back and said if we cancelled again he would burn down our house. The installation was pathetic - they didn't even finish off the inside of the window - and the windows themselves don't hold up to the promises (noise control and weather proofing). Huge rip off - the company stinks and I caution anyone to go anywhere else for their windows except Four Seasons. We had the rest of the windows put in with a contractor at a fraction of the cost and they are just as good.

I used Four Seasons because we thought that they had the best windows and construction. The sales rep was a good and pleasant guy. He went through the whole sales presentation and had a good demonstration about heat coming through the windows with a pinwheel. Everything's working well, the windows were fine and we like them. But, there was a crack in one of the sills. I called Four Seasons, they came within a couple of days and fixed the problem. They put a new sill.

A friend of mine was a salesman for Four Seasons Sunrooms and I was trying to help him get started. He sold me on the company. If I had known what I was going to be up against, I should never have done it. I bought some windows from this company, they said everything was guaranteed and I had some screens that ripped. After spending on the expensive windows, I thought I’d have better results. But I never received the screens which is very disappointing.

I called customer service. It was like pulling teeth to get somebody to answer the phone and try to help us. We got tired of trying. They said they sent them to the wrong address. That was some kind of lame brain excuse and nobody ever followed back up. They were too sure that we were happy customers. The quality of the work is awesome. Everything about the product is excellent. But the customer service is poor and horrible. Nothing ever got done. Half the sales guys were good, the other half isn’t. I am not very happy and I would never recommend that company to anybody else.

I made an internet inquiry, and Four Seasons was the first one to come to the house and they seemed to have the best pitch. The sales rep that came out was good but after that, it was the most horrible experience I've had in my life with a contractor or any kind of service person. We signed a contract and we gave him a deposit. The total cost was something around $60,000 for the sunroom. He said he would get back. He would go to the town, get the permits and their company would take care of everything. Then two months later, I called because I hadn't heard from anybody or anything. They said that it's in the process and the permits are being held up. I called back a month later and they said the town is giving them a hard time. I went to the town without them knowing and I found out no paperwork has ever been filed on my behalf. I started to get really angry and I started to try to get a lawyer involved.

Finally, somebody from the management came in and said the secretary hadn't been doing her job and that she was fired. Somebody filed for my permits but now, the whole summer had passed and I originally had torn my deck out so, I didn't have anything for the whole summer which was irritating. When that happened, I did the permit part because I didn't trust them to do it anymore.

Then, about two weeks later, everything was done. They came and installed the sunroom. They were asking for final payment when there were still two things left. I told them I'm not gonna give them the final payment, and they said that it was like a promotional -- that I'd get a free tile floor. So, I told them to give me the tile floor and I'll pay them the final payment. They told me that's not how it works and that I have to choose and trust them. But they had given me no reason to trust them. It was six months before everything was said and done. Also, the sunroom is not very well. The temperatures are too extreme in there. In the winter, it's too cold and it's too hot in the summer. It doesn't hold any kind of climate.

We love our windows from Four Seasons Sunrooms. They are fantastic windows and their contractor was knowledgeable and courteous but I wish they were a little cheaper. We just had some other windows installed by another guy and we got a better cash deal but the service has been a mess and we’re still dealing with them. We ordered in June and they didn’t get the windows installed until October, then one of the windows was wrong. One of the windows broke recently and they’re replacing that. We miss having the service that Four Seasons delivered.

The salesman from Four Seasons who came in was an old guy and he was pretty good. He sold me some windows and I bought two sets with $5,000 or $6,000 for each set on the same part of the house that takes in sun. They were put in and the quality was fine. I went back to order more but this time, when I received windows, they were in a totally different shade. It turns out that the first set they sold me were the wrong glare or darkness shade because it's not a really sunny side. Also, you could see a dead spot where it's supposed to be shaded. It wasn't coated evenly.

I had to get one of the sets replaced. I was trying to make it easy on the window manufacturer by saying that the shade wasn't as critical to me, so they could just replace the ones that are cheaper and easier to replace. But for some reason, I couldn't get anyone to listen. They decided to replace the more expensive ones that sit up high. These are big windows, big as you can make. Almost pushing the limits on what you can make with a single window.

Then, when the current interface guy was working with their rep, got a contractor to come out and they were replacing the windows, they determined that the windows were never installed correctly. We got to understand I get a lot of damage internally when the sills will probably need to be replaced at some point. So the way they work is the contractor installs them and report to the rep. I had defective windows and they replaced one of those. The windows weren't installed correctly and I had to pay to install the second set myself because the rep didn't want to pay for it. It was a very bad experience not only with the quality of the glass but also with the quality of the contractors.

You get a contractor that's gonna rush to putting the window in, don't seal it correctly, don't install it correctly and it ends up damaging the glass. The window manufacturer gets stuck with it. If your windows aren't installed correctly, you're really not at fault. The bigger problem was with the people installing the windows, which are all contractors and you gotta watch out for them. I would never buy from Four Seasons again.

My experience with Four Seasons was terrible. When the salesman came, he said that they'll see me through the entire process so, we went all the way. We're in Brooklyn and we went out to Long Island to look at something but I had no idea what to choose and we called them. I never got an answer and we end up choosing something myself. It wound up looking very nice but the point is I don't have a light for that that's why I went to somebody to do the whole entire project. I needed somebody to put it together for me, 'cause I don't have a good eye but they never answered. Then, I called a lot because when they first took the cabinets down, I had to have the old wallpaper removed. The guy said just to prime it and then they have to paint it also. So, I called them and nobody ever got back to me and the guys there painted it, but it was wrong. It should have been just primed and painted after.

Also, the electrician was a horrible person and he did a terrible job. Instead of being in the wall, he had the stuff out of the wall. The whole thing had to be done over. I also asked him to clip this old phone wire 'cause it goes into the molding between the wall and the floor but he said they don't do that. When they came to fix something with the electricity, they wound up putting it under the cabinet, 'cause they didn't go into the wall. It actually looks nice that way but there is a little metal piece so, I asked if they have something to cover up the exposed wires but they didn't have it on the truck. I ended up going to Home Depot, find it and put it myself.

Then, the guy who did the floor was nice. I asked him to please cover all the holes underneath the refrigerator so the mice can't come into here. But he left an opening underneath the refrigerator. There's also a spot where he missed and in the front. There's a little piece that should have been there and it's not. I can also see the nails. Other people who had their kitchens done usually have a strip of wood that covers the nails but I don't have that. Also, the doors didn't fit in the cabinet over the refrigerator. I look at the one where the microwave is and they should have been reversed. The doors didn't fit because it's a smaller one and the microwave doesn't come all the way down to the very end. But it looks like nothing was measured wrong but it looks like the edges are unfinished.

It also took much longer than it was supposed to. Mostly because of the electrician. Quite often, I'd be sitting there waiting for them to come and they wouldn't show up. They would say they didn't say they were coming but I'm pretty agreeable so I let a lot of stuff go. But I would never recommend them to anybody. I'm really unhappy.

I re-did my kitchen so, I bought my kitchen cabinets with Four Seasons and it was pretty good. But I had some difficulty with the guys making the cabinets for my oven to go into and we had to go back and forth more than a few times. The first time they made it was for the oven to go in and then drop down and then my cooktop was gonna be set on top of the granite. I told them that that's not the right way that it was supposed to be made.

I had about seven people here and we were all trying to figure out and go over how this cabinet can be made because the way they made it was gonna be very difficult if I needed repairs. They would have had to take the cooktop off and then they would have had an inch on each side to put the fingers in to try and pull up this GE oven out from the cabinet. I told the guy they have to remake this cabinet over because the oven has to slide in and slide out. It has to be that easy. It can't go in and then drop down where it'll have a lift because it's gonna be too difficult to pick up. Also, if, God forbid, I need repairs, they're gonna charge me extra to have to do all that work and then they might even have to destroy the cabinet to try to get it out. So, we had a few disagreements on that. They could have just looked a little more carefully and taken into consideration what I took into consideration.

Then they finally came to make it but it's almost like they didn't wanna have to go and re-do the whole thing. They were trying to see if they can modify it but I told them they have to make me a whole new one. So, they did it and it's better now. Also, my spice rack which comes out on either side of my oven when you push in, the front of it looks just like a flat piece of molding with some lines. I have a dark chestnut color. When the thing opens, the very top of it has no finish to it. It was just bare wood. It doesn't look like something that comes from a company that everybody says is expensive and very good. So, they had to re-do them and bring them back again. They put them in but it's still a little bit lighter than my cabinet.

There were some times that they seemed a little agitated. When I was trying to get answers, sometimes they didn't answer very quickly or they would send me a text message that they can't talk or they're busy. But if you're with me and I'm also a customer, if you have a second guy, they can tell them to help. They said they sent me their best guys because they saw that I was a little bit on the pickier side. But I was spending a lot of money so I have the right to be picky. There were some things here and there that they could have done a little bit better but the guys that they put in were good.

Going back a few years, I called Four Seasons several times for a particular item that I wanted to add on since mine is just a plain screen room that is attached to the back of my garage. And I just wanted some other panels that come up a little bit, so that when my sprinkle system goes on, it wouldn't come in to the room. But nobody ever really answers the phone so I had to drive to the showroom trying to find somebody to talk to. Then I spoke with one of the managers there who assured me and gave me his email address. I took pictures of what I wanted to do like they didn't have this paperwork in their files. Then finally, he sent somebody out and they did the work that I wanted to be done, but it was just a hard process to get them back to do anything. Their support was terrible.

I wouldn't do business with them again. If I need screens repaired, my husband will do it. But other than that, the product is wonderful. I know somebody else that has their screen room and it's absolutely beautiful. I would recommend Four Seasons, but I would tell the interested party about the service first and then let them make their own decision.

Four Seasons was the only company doing windows or sun rooms in Houston that I could find to do what I wanted to do. They built two sun rooms for me. The quality of the work was good and the sun rooms are very nice, but the service was very bad. It looks like they subcontract a lot of the work. The scheduling took way longer than what was expected. The sales representative at our first appointment was good, though, and was quick in sending a proposal. However, as soon as we signed the contract and they got the first check, the work got delayed a lot and took months to complete.

After a while, I found out that there were many things happening internally that delayed the project a lot. There was a lot of rotations. I spoke to three operation managers. The first one either left or was fired, the second one left, and the other one just passed away. While calling the contact details they left, a lady would answer and it sounded like it was a call center. Then she'lld say, "Yes, I'll get your message and then they would call back."

Ultimately, the sun rooms were finished. But there was an issue with the electrical work. It didn't work in one of the sun rooms, but I didn't realize this until months after they had finished. I tried to have a fan installed but that person told me, "They did something wrong here. You need to call your guys to fix it because I cannot fix it. I'm not authorized." So, I called and called and called Four Seasons but they never came back to me.

Months passed until I called another electrician and said, "Hey listen, I have this fan that needs to be installed but I find that there's something wrong with the electrical work and the previous guy didn't want to mess around with it." The electrician said he'll do it and he fixed it. Then, I never managed to speak with Four Seasons ever again. I have moved out and I now lease the house, but so far my tenant hasn't complained of leaks or any other issues. Overall, it was a mediocre experience with Four Seasons.

There were three-inch rips on two out of four screens, which is fine, but the bugs get in those rips and I hate that they pour in after I paid $1,000 for the window, and I had four windows replaced for $3,800. That made me mad. Then I called them, they said they'd sent somebody out, but they never came. Apart from that, I like the windows. They're real nice.

We had The Series 230 Conservatory Victorian design installed by Four Seasons a couple of years back. The design is wonderful and it looks really good. Their people were friendly and we had a good relationship with the sales representative. However, the biggest problem was poor insulation in the framework. The design allowed for cold transfer to the interior, creating condensation and there was a lot of work involved in trying to retrofit things to reduce the cold pockets. They could've had a better-designed insulation around the perimeter of the framework. In addition, the room gets very hot in the summer. There's a huge push on the gas that's between the window pane and the reflective coatings that keep the heat out. Also, it's cold in the winter.

During the course of the entire project, we had follow-up issues, problems and a bunch of delays. So after we did the installation, we started digging to see if other people had this problem, too. We discovered that we hadn't really done our homework because there was a whole bunch of people that's in a prior incarnation of the company. They did a big restructuring five years ago where they left a whole bunch of customers hanging to dry and telling the existing base that their warranties were not valid. There were lots of ugly reviews about sales reps that went missing, deposits that were put down and not paid. The problem that's always been with them is huge deposits and big delays in getting the project going.

Also, some of the installers were not that qualified. They were making goofy structural installation mistakes. Moreover, we rely on the sales people to have some degree of awareness of some of the municipal barriers towards putting additions on. We were assured that there would be no problem and we're backed on a ravine. We had a year of delay with trying to get an approval for Conservation Halton, because of the building being closer to the top of the hill. Their people should have known that and not have assumed that it was a slam dunk, easy peasy to go ahead with. We were expecting to have the back done before the renovation. The one-year renovation was finished before the sunroom was started. The process and the support from Four Seasons along the way, keeping us in the loop, and making us feel that they actually have something scheduled was certainly lacking. We had to write them a lot to get things moving.

We had a little beach house that we had to sell. A friend mentioned that we could do a sunroom and we'd have the feeling of being outdoors and she told us about Four Seasons Sunrooms. The work and workmanship were very good and we were happy. It seemed okay but we have a couple of leak problems now. We had our worst rain since that sunroom went in. One of the leaks is through the light fixture, which is in this fan-like fixture in the center. But we thought very highly of the people who worked here especially one man. He'd been in and out with Four Seasons as an employee but he got his job done. So, the employees that they employ make the difference. I do enjoy the room every day and I spend most of my time in there more than my husband.

I had a bathroom put in by Four Seasons. I wanted to take out the old bathtub and put in a new one. However, I was disappointed with the work that they did. Even in the beginning, when they came down and I was signing the agreements, I wanted the work done before the heat started because I have a breathing problem and needed the air conditioning. The work was supposed to be done in the beginning of May but they said that it was not in yet. Finally, they got there in June. They came in and put in this new bathroom, and within a week or so, all of the grout started falling out. I had to fight them for a long time but they put me off saying they'll be there but they never showed up. Finally, another company came and regrouted the bathroom. It was not a fun experience and I wasn't happy with some of the stuff that went on. Four Seasons is not a company that I'd recommend.

My wife was wanting to get some new windows and she got Four Seasons' number from somewhere. The guy came over and showed the windows and those weren't even the windows that went in. They were supposed to have a certain tint where the sun didn't come in but that wasn't the case. We didn't find that out until later when it start getting sunny. I called them up a couple of times and told them, "This is not the window that we originally picked." When I kept calling the contractors, they ignored me until I reported them a couple of times. They called me and said they were gonna come look at the windows, but nobody ever did. As far as the temperature in the house goes in the winter time, it's just as cold as it was. They said it was supposed to make it warmer, stop some of the breeze from coming in. Apparently, they were supposed to seal the windows but that wasn't the case. I'm dissatisfied overall.

We were impressed with the presentation by the sales rep from Four Seasons and decided to go with them for our window replacement. He had to use folders and papers all in order to give us a presentation. He also had some miniature windows to get me straight the benefits of having the windows. They were very expensive and I would have loved to not take that much money but we also know that we got just about the best one in the market. It was a very good experience.

I purchased removable windows from Four Seasons and had them do the installation in our home. They were helpful, but they damaged one of my window sills and I had to replace that at my cost. Also, the cover that they supposedly leave on the window so that I don’t have to clean them constantly is not as I expected. The dust accumulates quite a lot on the screens outside with the rain. It's not like it slides from the windows with the finish that they left, specifically in the area where I get direct rain on the screens that have dusts accumulated, it's not as easily removable. I can see the stains with the dusts and the water drops. Overall it's a very practical window system with noise and temperature isolation.

Four Seasons scheduled someone to come to my house and they brought samples over to let me know what type of window is going to be installed. The quality of the windows that I got from Four Seasons was good and they were the cheapest too compared to other companies. However, I realized I did pay more than I should’ve paid, but at that time it was just something I wanted to get done with. So I wouldn’t recommend it, even though everything else was fine.

Four Seasons Sunrooms did the bathrooms and windows for us. The quality of the work they did was fine but the service was a little questionable. The bathroom was supposed to be done in one to two days. But I had to wait two to three weeks for a shower door that they had to get, and they had to do an adjustment. In addition, there was water getting in between the liner and the bottom tub, so they had to come back to fix that. They did the windows in two or three days. But they put the sliding glass door on backwards and I said, "What are you doing? It's not supposed to be like that." So then, I had to wait weeks for that to come in.

Then I had to call them back because I had a problem with a little water coming through the back door. They came back and looked at it, but they sent a guy that had no clue what he was thinking and looking at. And then the guy came back and nobody knew anything, so I never even bothered calling them back. What Four Seasons does is they subcontract the job out to people, and then they have problems in getting people to come back. My back door wasn't totally finished and I wasn't satisfied. They didn't even touch anything. I haven't had the water problem since then, but there hasn't been a driving, pouring rain in a long time.

Four Seasons Sunrooms is a bad experience. I have a warranty for my windows that they installed, but every time I called they just tell me to call certain numbers. I've been having this problem for a year and a half and I did not have anybody to come fix it. I'm thinking about getting a lawyer and filing a lawsuit against Four Seasons for false advertisements and not honoring the warranty.

Flory Design was the company that we first dealt with and the experience wasn't that good. They were supposed to do the brick veneer, which is what the sunroom sits upon, and their guy didn’t do it. The room got damaged during Sandy and we had the glass repaired through our insurance. But when we dealt with Four Seasons in Hauppauge, they were very nice, professional and they always called. We had no problem with them.

    Process

My wife wanted to get a greenhouse, so I asked a lot of people and two of them said Four Seasons were the ones to go to. The process was pretty easy. They have a factory out in Holbrook, so we drove out there and looked at the sunrooms and met Jimmy. Then he came here, looked at the house and we bought it. We had an unusual design, so the contractors were going to do the whole job and then they split up the masonry separately. So they still used their mason but directly instead of going through Four Seasons. It all worked out eventually. We wish the sunroom was a little bit more energy-efficient. I guess with a lot of glasses, it loses a lot of heat. I'd recommend Four Seasons, but would warn about the energy usage.

So, every time that door messes up, I'm gonna have to call them 'cause they're the only company that services it. I would recommend them.

We have a covered patio so we only needed a door, a screen door and a glass door installed. He said that's easy and that they can do it. The contractors were very nice and seemed familiar with the process and installed them in just a day and I'm satisfied. Although later on, I heard the price maybe a little bit higher than others. But in terms of quality and the way they handled it, we are happy with it.

I was looking on the internet for a proper sunroom and Four Seasons Sunrooms was the top company that I came across. I am in a small bungalow on Lake Ontario and I wanted my roof to be glass and wanted it matching with my roof line that I already have, at the same exact angle. So they built on a 200 square foot addition, all glass, and I’m only 15 feet from the water. I've had my sunroom finished now for a couple of years and they were very quick to come and repair any leaks that I had in the beginning, like when caulkings on it sometimes might not have been enough.

The only issue I had was the delay in building. It was behind four, five or six months. We had architects in and they did everything that we wanted. But the salesman didn't order exactly what we had drawn up even though I signed off on the drawings. The one they put on there was a generic angle. So when they started to put it up, I was on the hill looking and saw that it wasn't even the same angle as the roof. So they ordered all the glass again at no cost for me and redid it properly. When I pay $100,000 and signed off on a picture of what exactly it’s supposed to be like and they don’t build it that way then they had to incur the cost of having the glass rebuilt. So the service was great with Four Seasons. I liked the guys. I recommended them to my neighbor and got a $100 back from another neighbor. So that was good.

We were interested in a sunroom. I went online and found out about Four Seasons Sunrooms. What set them apart from other companies is their true focus on sunrooms. The other companies we had in to talk about what we wanted were into windows and other things. We called Four Seasons and we found out that they have a store in the triangle area of North Carolina. The salesperson named Robert came out to the house, looked at what we wanted done, showed us or pitched the advantages of Four Seasons and we compared that to the other bid we received and explained how it would happen and when it would happen. We did have some issues with leakage, but they were addressed quickly. It took a while to find the leak, but they came out on several occasions and closed them down.

Our sunroom has leaked from day 1. For the first two years, the installing company, ACI out of Jonesboro, AR, SENT A GUY OUT TO TRY CAULKING THE GLASS CEILING from the outside. No luck. Each visit required a week to coordinated, amounted to the guy laying down a new bead of caulk, then telling us to call back if it leaked next time it rained. After two years of this, we gave up. Recently we were considering selling the house. We tried contacting the original installer (ACI), but they are either out of business or have changed venue. Tried to contact Four Seasons National. No response. Rooms are guaranteed not to leak. Totally unsatisfied due to leaking. New local installer won't touch our sunroom because they didn't do original install.
