Many years ago, I wanted a room built over a deck. I was driving by and I saw Four Seasons. For 25 years now we have a glass room over a deck attached to the house. Everyone with Four Seasons Sunrooms was very polite and very lovely. The rep sent somebody over because he said we were still under a five-year warranty for the last repair and they gave their thoughts on the matter. We were repairing it ourselves but it was very nice. My sunroom enhanced my home and I recommend Four Seasons Sunrooms.
We at Four Seasons Sunrooms and Windows are delighted to hear that you are still so happy after all this time.
We would love to see how happy you are with the sunroom.

I didn't like my experience with Four Seasons Sunrooms very much. They used high-pressure sales tactics and it wound up being more expensive. Talking to their rep felt like buying a used car, where the guy says that he can't make that deal and that he'll have to call his supervisor. Then the supervisor amazingly comes up with a $1,500 discount.
Four Seasons was available and ready to do the work so I went ahead with them. I got window screens, and although the work they did was okay, the screens didn't fit. They said they were going to order new ones but never did. When the guy came back, he looked at it and said that that was normal for screens that big. I got disgusted since it was not a hard thing to fix yet they never fixed them. They've functioned okay since they put them in but I wasn’t pleased with the way they were done.

There was a nice gentleman who had an awesome pitch about Four Seasons Sunrooms at a home show, and he was very relatable. There was the same connection and level of trust with being him a veteran too. When they came to the house, they presented us great ideas as well as different kinds of financing. There was a lot of pressure there. They said it would be $5,000 down payment, and at that time, they said they could get the work done at a ridiculous amount of time. My wife and I weren’t 100% and for us, we wanted to see the available options. But because we had been talking about and wanting to do the addition, it was a great time to do it so we agreed. We gave the $5,000 as a down payment, which I found out at a certain point was non-refundable.
We added a full-glass sunroom and a deck, which is awesome to hang out in especially when the weather is nice. But it was a long and arduous process. It started around November and the project took a while because the project manager said that they had other projects simultaneously going on. They would do the footing, and then they would come back a week later and do the framing and so on. I was very patient, but my project was important too. I didn't do anything enough until I'm at the point where two years later, the project is not yet finished.
I have called the local office numerous times and had sent videos to the project manager. There’s a permanent tub sitting in the sunroom because every time it rains, it leaks. It even poured when we had a hurricane came through. I was changing buckets. The leak has gone through the sheetrock because when it rained so hard, the water seeped in and it has gone through the paint. The paint has become bubbly which when it dried, it became wrinkled. I have sent them videos of the actual dripping. They have identified that there's a leak so they went up on the roof and recaulked it. They have also removed the flashing and added some things but it still leaks.
I called the general inspector and asked them the situation, but there's a long application to do it. There's still wood exposed and the capping needs to be done. They also got sent two left sides of the screen doors so it doesn't close all the way. It doesn't even lock. They flipped it upside down so it somewhat closes. They know that and I've told them that when they came in. They said they are reordering it. Aside from that, the shims are falling off. Also, the permit wasn't approved for a finish so now, the county said unless this is rectified, my addition is not in compliance. It is possible that it could be torn down and we are responsible for it.
We are very sad to see that this has been your experience so far.

Four Season's quote was better than other providers and they were more thorough with what the job was going to be. The representative gave us blow-by-blow what exactly was going to get done and he listened well. He came back afterwards to go over the information and to make sure about what we were going to get done and how it was going to be done especially that I had to order my own front door because we wanted something specific. Then Four Seasons did exactly what they said they were going to do. They did the front window, took out the bay window, put in a panel window and replaced the front door. They did a good job and were clean, neat and respectful of the property. We told them what we're going to get done and they did it exactly as we had asked for. If I ever need any other work done I would use Four Seasons again.
We loved working on your home, and we are so happy to hear that you loved the way it came out. At Four Seasons Sunrooms and Windows our goal is to exceed your expectations. I got windows and patio door from Four Seasons Sunrooms & Windows. But the screen of the patio door is still not working properly. It doesn’t open smoothly and it’s totally bad. I called many times and they’re not responding. Every time I call they say, “Okay. We’re going to send the people,”, but they don’t send them. I called many times last year and this year also and they haven’t fixed the screen of my patio door. The salesman was a nice guy, but he just came to my home and sweet talk, and after the contract is done, he never said anything. He's supposed to take care of which contractor to send but he never called back

Years ago, I saw a Four Seasons ad in Mother Earth News. The Mother Earth News has the reputation of only advertising quality merchandise. At that time, it was 40 years ago, I looked into its background. I was thinking of putting a room like that on my house that I built in New York State but never got to do it. So to carry it forward, one of my life friends worked for Four Seasons when I was living in Arizona. I saw some of his work and I was really pleased with it. Their sales representative talked to us and showed us samples and we decided which one we wanted. The contractor who came after was very knowledgeable and efficient with his work. I was impressed with him. He really performed right up to what I expected.

Four Seasons replaced all of our windows and it was done almost four years ago. We went with them because of the price. However, the screens don’t sit inside the window well the way a sealed screen should. The bugs can get into the window, at the very least two of them, and the screens don’t fit in properly on. There's just a big gap. Besides the screens, everything was great.
Thank you for your feedback, it is only with constructive comments such as yours that we can attain excellence. At Four Seasons Sunrooms & Windows we are committed to exceeding expectations and while the windows were installed four years ago, we only want to leave a project with happy faces. I believed Four Seasons when they came and did the presentation about the windows. I can buy similar windows cheaper at other providers, but they don’t come with a lifetime warranty. I could have paid $250 for windows, but instead, I paid over $1,000 for them. Most people think I’m crazy, but I tell them that it’s a lifetime warranty. The first day the salesman showed up, he didn’t show up with his kit, but I decided to give him another chance. The installer showed up by himself and took a long time as it was a cold day. He got there a lot later than he said he would, but I gave him about an hour window. We were told when he came in with the windows that it would be two guys and they’d be done with all four in an hour. But I was happy with the quality of work and the windows lived up to expectations.

I was shopping for windows and I came across Four Seasons. They came and showed me their window. It looked like a good product so I decided to go with them. I got their windows which were cheaper at that time and I also got a patio door. Their sales rep promised me everything but the installation was not good at all and I didn’t like it. Everything that needed to be done including the molding was in writing but when the installers came, they felt like they were doing me a favor. They also sent two different crews. The windows aren't so bad but when they first installed the back door, it didn’t close and lock right. They had to order me a new door but there was a big argument before they did everything in the contract. Overall, I was not too happy with Four Seasons. I would not recommend them to a friend and I would never use them again.
We are sorry to hear about your negative experience. I found Four Seasons on a home repairs website and they were rated highly with the Better Business Bureau. But once the salesman made the sale, he was done with the product. But I’m not sure if he gave me all of the information that I needed at the time. I asked a question that would have probably affected my decision to go forward on the product because I wanted to know if their rooms were Windstorm certified for the Galveston County area where I live and that has a high hurricane area. Most of the requirements were from the insurance company, the community, and the city inspection.
But I never could got the room Windstorm certified even though the salesman said that it would. The salesman should have been a little more clear on what the company could and could not provide. The contractor was very polite though and tried to be helpful. A screen room was built for me and the work was good once it finally got done. I would recommend Four Seasons with a caveat to make sure that everything the salesman says is put on the contract in writing.

One of my customers referred Four Seasons. The quality of the windows was really good that was why we went with them. Four Seasons installed all the windows in our house. They provided really good service and the pricing was reasonable. The installers did a good job. But I have one window for the back when they did the last one and I just noticed last month the frame is broken.
However the sales rep was very friendly and he basically knows everything. But we didn't hear from him. When he made the sale he was really nice. He answered all the questions that we asked him and he provided all the information right. But after he got the job and discussed what to install he didn't call me back to schedule the day.
I called several times to see because they were late and they didn't show us the windows. I called him about 10 times and I left a message. There was no one who knew why he didn't answer and he never returned my call so I was very disappointed by him. What they got to do is just be a little more professional in the day for installation and to coordinate the job. But other than that I'll recommend Four Seasons. I've been referring them a lot because I'm working at a business in plumbing and a lot of my customers ask me about the windows.

I like the windows that I got from Four Seasons back in 2012. However, when I needed a copy of the receipt for the windows and I went back to come try to get it, the contractor that installed the windows gave me a runaround. I spent $11,000 and they wouldn’t give me a receipt for it.

I purchased windows from Four Seasons Sunrooms about four years ago and they’ve done excellent work. A friend who’s a satisfied customer told me about them. She had a fire and they came back and fixed her windows. There were several unusual things that happened with her and Four Seasons continued to give her good service regardless.
Their rep came by, showed me how it worked, demonstrated, and the interaction was good. However, it was a little bit weird with the contractor. They started out with two guys and one of them got sick in the middle of it and went back to his van and laid down. Another issue was when they installed it, there was a cracked window. It came on the truck like that and when they unwrapped it, they saw it. But they replaced it. Other than that, it went smoothly. It seemed to have worked fine and the windows look very nice. They add to the value of my house.
My biggest regret was I put in the shutters on top of all the windows. I already ordered those and then some other window treatments but once I put the windows down, I don’t want to cover them. They’re so pretty on their own. But it was too late. Overall, Four Seasons did a good job and I would recommend them to anyone looking for new windows for their house.
We love hearing how much you enjoy the windows and really appreciate the glowing feed back.

After seeing the Four Seasons Life Room TV ads I set up an appointment with a local rep in late July. The salesman was very nice. He explained everything that was included in the life room product - automatic roll down screens, recessed lights, mood lights over the screens, motorized mister for cooling the room and electric heater. He quoted me pricing including materials and labor right out of the Four Seasons sales book. The pricing gradually increased according to room size. I settled on a 14 x 16.
They were offering financing 1st year interest free. I agreed to let him start the loan approval process. He sold me after comparing the life room cost with another company that had similar pricing but didn't have all the hi-tech features of the life room. The loan approval process took about 3 weeks. He did advise me though that it would take 8 weeks before materials would arrive and the job could be started. The was late August. After not hearing from them by early October I called them for a status. They advised me that their crew was going through training with Four Seasons and that the job would begin October 24th.
I assumed the training was regarding the life room since it is a relatively new product. They actually started the job October 23rd but only to install the posts into the patio which required village inspector approval. I noticed the post placement was not at the 14 x 16 room size I was expecting. The product specialist at my project explained the 14 x16 was from roof overhang and not room size. Inside I'm getting 13 x 15 so right off I'm not getting what I expected or paid for. The next day Oct 24th it rained all day so no work.
The Four Seasons product specialists was there guiding the 2 workers through the construction process but advised he would only be there until Thursday. After that they would be on their own. This was the beginning of my concerns. What troubled me the most was when the manager advised me that he wouldn't be getting an electrician for the electrical work. So after the job had already started he tells me I had to find my own electrician and it would be at my cost. I told him that was not right and it was never explained to me that the electrical work was not included. So they sold me a room with many electrical components then start the job and I have to scramble to find an electrician to figure out how to get it to work.
I found an electrician through HomeAdvisor and he was able to briefly discuss the project with the Four Seasons product specialist before he left. The electrician was told all he would have to do was connect the room power to the house service-which was referred to as a home run and the construction crew would run the room electrical components.
The product specialist left after only 4 days. The construction crew and myself were left guessing as to how to complete the job. The crew then made it clear they knew nothing about the electrical so the electrician would have to figure it out. I started calling Four Seasons customer service Oct 26 with a promise that a product specialist would call me back within 24 hours. No callback. After that 1st week the job came to a standstill since the crew could not close anything up until the electrical was done plus they told me a part was missing (or broken) and had to be reordered.
The electrician was booked the whole following week so nothing was done again until Nov 6th when the electrician ran the wiring to my home service. No wiring information was provided for the room. I called the contractor manager who was able to get the wiring info emailed to me so I could give it to the electrician. I also called the Four Seasons customer service at least 3 additional times. Aways being promised a call back by a specialist within 24 hours and have NEVER received a callback.
That's just very poor customer service. A new part arrived by Nov 7th and the crew came back Nov 8th and did what they could without the electrical being done yet. It was also noticed that only one of the roof panels had a metal conduit running through it for the recessed lights. The project called for 4 lights. Only 2 holes were made for 2 lights in the middle panel. If I want the other 2 lights installed I have to get creative and try to run conduit through the other 2 panels otherwise request 2 new panels and wait again. I'm still contemplating that. It also was noticed the electric heater provided is not pre-wired.
It appears that will need to be hardwired adding to the electrical expense. I still don't know how much all the electrical work is going to cost. It's now Nov 12th and the electrician is scheduled to return tomorrow morning to presumably try to finish the room wiring. Then maybe the crew will return Tuesday to finish. I have my doubts. So a project I was told would take 3-4 days is going on week 4. As anyone would be I'm extremely upset that the contractor representing Four Seasons. Sold me a room with many electrical components and apparently thought their job was to put up the shell and that it was my problem to find someone to get it to work.
I'm sure that the pricing the salesmen pulled from the Four Seasons sales book did not just contemplate the structure and excluded the electric installation. Getting answers from Four Seasons customer service doesn't seem possible after numerous attempts. They were also advertising a $1000 manufacturer's rebate during the month of August which at this point I doubt they will give me. I don't know if posting here will help put I suppose it won't hurt.

The Four Seasons sales guy took us for quite a ride and there was a lot that went wrong. Right from the beginning, the guy said, “How would you like to have Thanksgiving this year in your new room?” And we fell for it, hook, line and sinker. But they never came to deliver the stuff until February and we were knee-deep in the snow. They were supposed to do the whole permit but nobody showed up for the meeting. I went, did all the permits and everything else. It did not go really well. I heard about the dumpster that was going to be for the siding and for the deck that going to be torn down. But I found out that they didn't take the siding off. I had to do it myself if I wanted to. I also had leaks and everything else. I thought the whole thing was done except for the floor but it wasn't.
Also, the lady that I always had to call on the phone was nasty. When I told her what I was told and everything else, she said that nobody should have told me that and said that it was not her fault. And although the contractors that came were wonderful, I'm done with Four Seasons. I could become a millionaire and they will never hear from me again. There’s nothing they could build to make me happy.

The sales reps were very informative and polite but they wanted me to commit right away, which I didn’t appreciate. The contractor came when they said and they were very neat and clean. While we have enjoyed our sunroom for 5+ years, unfortunately, the 1) durability of materials, 2) customer service, and 3) actual utility of the warranty, force me to give this the lowest rating. I would recommend therefore, getting a sunroom (they are great!) but using a different company, if you plan to have your sunroom for more than 3 years.
Small issues (such as the locks on the windows breaking) started after a couple years, but most recently one "hurricane rated glass" pane shattered after being hit by the end of a rake - which was shocking. Then trying to use my "lifetime" warranty to replace the smashed window has taken over 6 weeks and we have no progress to show. This is a safety issue as there are small children in the home. I have been promised dozens of phone calls from customer service and received zero.
The customer service via email is unfriendly and disorganized, and as a business owner myself, I can't imagine if I treated clients this way. I have been given the "runaround" treatment (e.g., you need to contact the installer) only to be sent back to Four Seasons as they hold the warranty. Additionally, initially were unable to locate my warranty in their records (I had my own copy), which seems to be an attempt to force the client to prove their warranty status. When I disputed their interpretation of the warranty, they have sent me a highlighted warranty with the wrong date.
To speed up the process we have asked them to simply send us the window and we will install, but now they are charging us over $200.00 for shipping, which I will not pay. Meanwhile, somehow the sales department has managed to call me twice (possibly thinking that all my calls imply that I want a new sunroom?), so clearly, this company puts its resources into advertising and sales and not in keeping their current clients satisfied and safe.
We are so sorry to hear about your negative experience, in replacing the glass. When an issue arises we at Four Seasons Sunrooms and Windows strive to deliver exceptional customer service and do our best to work with you on addressing the issue. We take your comments to heart and believe that with feedback like this we will be able to improve communication and come to a quicker resolve. Thank you.

A gentleman who started up a franchise with Four Seasons in Whidbey recommended to me a man’s name. The gentleman came out and repaired all kinds of other things and he wanted to re-caulk all the windows that I had done in 2015. After that, I never heard from him again. I paid by the nose for this product and with every last dime they asked me, and I have not been impressed.

I was checking the price of all the windows and installing windows online when Four Seasons popped up on my computer. I put through an inquiry along with my information and then someone from Four Seasons Holbrook branch called me. I explained that there's some moisture in my window and they recommended changing it. Their agent went to my house and explained everything. The rep was good. He convinced me and we had a deal to replace all the windows in my house. He said the moisture is going to disappear with the new technology of Four Seasons’ window so I let them change the window. But after that, the moisture is still there, especially when it's winter. I don't know if it's a problem with the window or the walling in the house.
I called the Four Season in the Holbrook area here in Long Island about the moisture. And he said, "Let's check for another winter and make sure that you close the window properly." So, I did that but it's still the same and nobody comes to check it. The contractor went here for three hours only and said to just call the main office if there's a problem, which is the Four Seasons in Holbrook. I called them and they tried to call the contractor and let the contractor check the window, but nobody came to check it. I'm not satisfied with their service. Once they approach you, they're really good. But after service, they are not going to solve your problem. I would not recommend this to my friend.

Four Seasons had a feature that would keep the windows essentially clean by virtue of normal rain. We don't necessarily see that being 100% effective, but the windows look good and everything was fine. They're appropriate for what I needed and we're happy with them.

We had used Four Seasons 20 years earlier when we had first gotten the house. This most recent time, we got a replacement for windows in a sun area in the kitchen and the overall quality of work was pretty good. We had tracks on the windows so we could close them like a shade and Four Seasons thought that they could make it, but they couldn't. So, we had to leave those on even though we had brand new windows put in, which was not very nice. The contractor did an okay job, but halfway through, the person who had measured initially did it incorrectly and they had to reorder a window so it took longer and it didn’t seem as competent. Four Seasons was expensive and we couldn't do anything differently because we were replacing something that one would originally put in. I would not probably recommend them if it was not custom and I would shop around.

Four Seasons is the only major company I’d ever heard of that does sunrooms. I also knew of other places and people who got them. Though I've heard of others, I just thought Four Seasons had to be top-notch. They came and did the pre-inspection, and then they ordered the top-of-the-line energy windows and put it in throughout the house. They also did our patio door and cleaned up before they left. It's been quite a while but we had a great experience. We’re very satisfied with our product and I would highly recommend them to anybody. If I decided to put on a sunroom, I would get Four Seasons to do it.

We had Four Seasons Sunrooms enclosed the back patio a few years back. When I called them, I liked their pricing. The work they did was very good and the contractors were great. We were happy with Four Seasons and it was a good decision for me to go with them. With what they did, it’s nice to have to get bugs out of my patio while I’m trying to hang out in there. It also provided safety especially that we have a pool at the back as well and my children at that time didn’t know yet how to swim. It gave me peace of mind.

We redid all of the windows in our house. We had several companies come out and we did pricing and looked at the products. Four Seasons Sunrooms & Windows was the one that seemed to fit our needs as the price and the quality of the products was good as well as the time frame that they said they could install the windows. The quality of the product that they showed us was what they put in the house. They have a good appearance and the function is like what they have said. We also had a positive interaction with their sales rep. Although, it took them two days to get all the windows in because we have quite a large number of windows. Initially, we could see a little bit of difference in our utility bills but it has been about two years since we've had them put in so that has leveled out. It's comfortable though and you don't feel if it's hot or cold outside when you're inside. I would definitely recommend them.
We at Four Seasons Sunrooms & Windows are so happy to hear how satisfied you are with the windows. It's always exciting to see how happy our customers are. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us.

My Four Seasons Sunroom was built in 2004 on an existing deck structure. We enjoyed the use of the sunroom for a number of years. However, the local company that installed the sunroom went out of business soon after installation. This didn't create a problem for us until we had a problem with the floor. The grout on the floor cracked, tiles came loose, and the floor developed a 5 foot long sag. We found out that we had a problem with the flashing on the outside of the sunroom which allowed water to seep through the wall and into the foam insulated "SmartDeck".
We contacted two Four Seasons dealers within 80 miles of our home to request repair services. Neither dealer would agree to travel the 80 miles to make the repair. We also contacted the home office in NY and a field rep. We received verbal support from them but no action. We found out that local competitor sunroom businesses will only service existing customers. However, from one competitor and from other contractors we discovered that in order to repair/replace the floor properly, you have to dismantle the entire structure. While windows are easy to replace, the floor is not. It is no wonder that I cannot find anyone to help me.
We are so sorry to hear about the challenges you are facing with the floor.

Four Seasons installed our sunroom. It took over two months since they don't have enough people to do it. Only one person did the job. He came in two days a week and not all the time as he had other jobs, not just us. The quality of work done was okay. However, in terms of the value of the sunroom, with the money that they charged and the product that they gave, it was expensive and they took so long. We've done some windows in the house and compared to that, Four Season wasn't the top quality of the material they put in. The door latch got broken since the material was so frail and I have to get it replaced.
Also, Four Seasons didn't adjust the price when the city didn't approve one side of the windows. There can't be windows at one side so they put a regular wall instead. I mentioned that to them so they could adjust the price since regular wall versus glasses is totally different. Four Seasons didn't do anything for us and simply brushed it off. There's still something and I'm not sure if it's the condensation from the air-conditioning but they couldn't find the problem on that and what the cause is. I won't recommend Four Seasons to anybody. On the other hand, if some of the materials crack, they would fix it. They also fixed the leaking and resealed all those on top of the roof.

I got a sunroom from Four Seasons but I'm not very happy with them. Their sales rep oversells them. They come to your place to make an estimate and then they pressure you and stay until you sign. Then they give you an estimate on timing that is not even realistic. And once they got you to sign on the dotted line, they charge you. They said they're going to start work in May but they didn't start work until late August. They couldn't even get the drawings right. They said everything could be done within eight weeks and it turned out to be five months.
Furthermore, there were leaks in the sunroom after they're done. And once they're done, it's hard to get them to come back to fix anything. I had a guy contact them multiple times, but we had to do our own caulking. After I've used them, I felt I've been screwed but I had to go ahead since I've signed up and paid them a large deposit. I just have to grit my teeth and bear through the process. Once they're out of here, I'll never work nor use them again, ever.

I searched on the internet before I had the place built. I wanted to make sure that I was getting the work from a company that had good references, so quality and workmanship were my deciding factors in going with Four Seasons. I had them do an exterior sunroom and the work they did was absolutely phenomenal. The sales reps had excellent organization. They brought the product to show me how it was built and gave a good demonstration. The sunroom construction procedure was very interesting and I enjoyed watching the demo sunroom grow.
The contractors who came out to do the work were a guy and his son. They were a hoot and they were great. The guy was a Newfie and he was so funny, and he paid a lot of attention to detail. It was in the middle of winter and it wasn’t nice to have to work out in the cold, with the heater going in, so I threw in coffee for them now and then. I don’t live in that house anymore and I miss the sunroom. I'm over now in Nova Scotia and it would be nice to have a sunroom here too, but our place here doesn’t need one. For the most part, I had an excellent experience with Four Seasons.

We talked to four companies but other companies had the solarium or conservatory sunroom as one of their offerings and we felt that it was Four Seasons' expertise because that's basically all they did. We realized we probably would pay a little bit more, but we were fine with that knowing that we'd end up with a good product. We call it a solarium but they call it a conservatory and we had it done as an extension to our existing family room at the back of our home. It was part of a much larger renovation project and the contractors actually worked together so that the project would be finished at the same time. We were also getting something over and above the standard the building permit from the city and Four Seasons was very supportive in providing what we needed. They even provided resource to go to court with us to the city. We were so pleased with the overall experience of sales, the building of it and the final product.
The solarium looks fantastic but in May, we had a leak and the drywall has been damaged. We have buckets in the solarium and we are still trying to contact Four Seasons but there's nothing we can do to get their attention. They say the warranty system is down, their computers are down or they would get back to us but after a week and a half, we would call again. We've had a general contractor come and look at it, and he suggested to us what would be the problem but he's not an expert. We want Four Seasons to come back and fix it. After all, it’s under warranty and we paid a lot of money for this solarium. But they're not returning our calls, and so I would not recommend them to anyone.

There was a gentleman from Four Seasons who came through the door and our interaction with him was great. We were leery at first, but when he finally explained what he was doing, we knew that we needed the new windows. We scheduled an appointment and had the guy come out. He was out here for 40 minutes and showed us the difference between the windows we had and the ones we have now. The contractors that did the windows were amazing. They were polite and made sure that every single thing that they brought in, they took back out. They also cleaned up after themselves and if they had anything on their feet, they made sure that they took their shoes off when they came inside.
Four Seasons has very good customer service. They called back a couple of days later and made sure that we were okay and everything was still working fine. We even had some windows that were specially ordered, and they came in before they were supposed to. So we got our windows put in earlier than we had originally planned, which was perfect. We love our windows and they have changed our electric bill tremendously. It dropped the electric bill by a good $75 every month so it’s been wonderful. I’m on the Georgia coast and the windows have stood up very well as they have been through three hurricanes. Four Seasons did a great job and I have recommended them to several people already. The contractor was a little late for a month but when they finally showed up, the job was done quickly. Everything was done in one day and they also cleaned up nicely. However, the salesman made a mistake and missed one window, so when I had to pay the bill, I ended up paying another extra $800. But that happens and I understand. Four Seasons had a mock display at Home Depot, and they had a wonderful sales rep by the name of James. My husband and I didn’t want anything attached to our home but the more we spoke with James, the more we decided that we wanted to go in the direction that we went with. I wanted an open lattice and James was very patient and wanted to know what the purpose of it is. I said to filter off the afternoon sun which the open lattice would not have provided. He said that they did not do that type of construction and it would have to be attached to our home. We realized that we needed to filter out the sun so we had a covered type roof that’s all solid. It was a great opportunity for us to add value to our home and we love it.
We had heavy rain after it was installed and James called and wanted to know if there were any leaks or problems. Overall Four Seasons came when they said they were going to and they did an outstanding job for us. They also pulled the permit from the city and made it easy for us. We are planning to move and we’re hoping we could use Four Seasons again in a new area.

I liked Four Seasons' product and price. They replaced all of my old aluminum windows and they are good quality. But their sales rep was so persistent to make a sale. He told me I won't hear a sound or traffic if I bought their windows and that was a bunch of crap for the most part. I can still hear the neighbor's dogs barking, the car going by the house, and everything else around me. It was his biggest selling point and he needs not to do that. They moved fast though because our total waiting time was six weeks and that was decent. Also, my energy bill went down during winter but it's still around $300 - $400 during summer. It's also a plus that my big Boxer hasn't gone through the window yet because she likes to run and tackle the mailman in it. So although I was misled on the amount of sound that the windows would have a barrier for, I've been happy and I'd recommend them.

We've always known about Four Seasons, and we called them when we were looking for a window replacement. We had called other contractors as well. They came here, spent three and a half hours, and after the tremendous presentation of why their windows are so great, they hit us with a $13,000 price tag for one bay window. And we were immediately turned off and felt like we wasted three hours of our time. We then asked Four Seasons for an estimate and they insisted on giving us a presentation. But it took more on a $13,000 price tag and when we scoffed at it, the price came down to $8000. Then, it came down to $5000, so it should have been a red flag right there. But we got what they were saying as a tremendously great window for a fraction of what they quoted us. They manipulated us into feeling like we got something really good.
We wanted actual installers from Four Seasons and it was specifically stated that we didn't want a subcontractor. They lied to me because they didn’t have their own installers and when they called, we found out the subcontractor was Tri-Pane Windows. The subcontractor was very rude. We had a big problem with the installers since we had a very large leak and it took them five visits. I asked Four Seasons to be switched to another contractor and I pointed out that they lied and told us that they didn't use subcontractors but they said that wasn't what they meant to convey. And after we had that experience, they even went on saying that Tri-Pane Windows was the best contractor and they will make good on what they did. The contractors kept coming back and sealed things off and said they couldn't find a bay window that it has to have a roof on top of it. All the woodwork that they put in was water damaged.
My husband and my brother-in-law reinstalled the trim and everything around the windows to stop it from leaking. I filled out a paperwork to take Four Seasons to court but we felt after everything that we went through, we’re going to leave it at that and just let all our friends and family know they were terrible. Four Seasons still continues to call for their marketing and they wanted to give us offers after I asked them so nicely until I got mad and I was begging them to take me off their list. I'd like to forget about the bad experience I had with them.

But they fixed the sunroom and did a good job. I'm happy with what they did and I wish I had to do more windows. For a year or two after that, the sunroom was great. Then, about 11 months ago, it leaked during a hurricane and ended up hurting some wood. It did not do any permanent damage but I need to make a service call to have somebody come out on a short visit, go up on the roof and find out where this leak is. Apparently, it's a serious leak and it happens only under very heavy rains.
I had another leak when we had a tropical storm but I put a pot under it. I can understand that this water pours off of the roof and runs down like a waterfall over my sunroom, and I recognize that I have to watch and take care of it. Four Seasons built me a sunroom with air conditioning. The work that has been completed has been done very well. But I had a problem with the person in charge of the construction. We had some arrangement of installment payment as the progress goes on. I paid by credit card for the initial payment, and the next installment payment was supposed to be done after completion of a certain part of the job. But they charged my credit card without completing the job. I was very much upset and I called the top guy, and he returned the money by paying it back on the credit card.
Ultimately, he was delaying and was not finishing the wall side of the existing house, painting, and the other remaining work. I got fed up and used my own guy to finish that part. They paid me back for the expenses that I had for getting the job done myself though. Then we found out the roof was leaking. We called them and they fixed the problem. I also had a problem with the air conditioner, which they also fixed after I called.
I'm 88-year-old and controlling this kind of job is difficult for me. After they finished the job and I started using the room, I found out that they did not give the completion certificate to the county. Thus, the county is not authorizing me to use the room. Four Seasons brought in a sample, and everything I saw and what was demonstrated to me showed that it was a superior product to the other ones that we've been looking at.
The rep was very honest, personable, and knew the product very well. He was my age and very friendly so I was able to relate to him. The quality was very good and we were very happy with it. The glass was extra thick and the air gap inside was bigger than any I've ever seen, which is better insulation. Plus, the quality of the frame of the glass was superior. Any issue we had was dealt with. One little clip thing broke on one of the windows, but they responded very quickly and remedied the problem in a very timely manner.
It took us a couple of months to get all the details worked out. We had a little back and forth on financing, which we ended up getting solved. However, the whole project took less than 10 working days. We were very impressed and thought it was done very well. The contractor was very professional. He was on top of everything and was very open to questions. We added one little thing that wasn't in the original plan and he was very open to that. We worked that out, no problem. He did a good job of keeping us happy and getting the product in. We had them cut one of the windows in half since it was configured to be a big old window. They did the framing and the drywall to make it look like it has always been that way. We recommend them.

Four Seasons’ sales rep was good but when I needed him towards the end to figure out what was going on, he became unresponsive. The person that was here to install the patio covers worked all by himself. I kept looking out there and wondered if anyone was going to help the guy because he had to dig some big holes. Finally, someone was sent to help him but it was towards the end. They had to send other people to come reinspect everything to make sure he was doing the job right and I wasn't very comfortable with that. What are they going to do if there's something wrong? They won’t tear it down. They're going to put a Band-Aid on it. All this many were abandoned and that's not good at all.
I feel it is left unfinished so I emailed them. Someone said she would call me but I never received the phone call back. I did a follow-up and I did not get the response. I paid their company to finish it and now I have to pay someone else to do it. I’m not too happy about that. I have some landscaping work being done at home and I have a contractor who is coming in to do some electrical work, and he's going to finish off everything for me. We tried wiping it off only to realize that it was inside the two glass panes. It looked like the suction pad when they were moving it or tinting it. Fortunately, one of the windows was opened so they came out, took a look at it, took photographs, ordered a new piece and swapped it out straight away. Viggy, the gentleman who did the work was amazing.
When we also told them about getting a bit of a draft through the side here, they came, checked it out and then put more cork in. We also had a problem with one of the doors as it jams up in the summer. It's better in the winter so obviously, something is swelling. We have two doors on either side of the sunroom and the door that gets the bulk of the sun is the one that's swelling. It was a minor thing initially but it's getting worse. When we had rain last winter, we still had water leaking inside and down into the areas where we don't think there should be water leaking into. I haven't had the chance to get a hold of anybody yet because I'm not quite sure what else they're going to do at this point.
The rep we first talked to was available at first but then went missing for a while. He then passed us off to another guy who set up the time they'd come out to repair the window. I think they closed down the general office in my area so it hard to get a hold of people for a while. The windows and the glass that we have now have a lifetime warranty on them, but I'm disappointed in the service as well as the quality of the product.

We've been spending the last 10 years rebuilding our dream house and Four Seasons Sunrooms & Windows was one of many people we had to deal with. The house we bought had Four Seasons Sunrooms on it and we had that sunroom replaced 10 years ago. Then a couple of years ago, we replaced a couple of our sliding doors with French doors that we saw at their showroom. Recently, we had a major problem with our house and one of the doors got destroyed so we just got a new one. But, it took us two months just to get it. Also, they used to have a showroom in our part of the city, but it was hard to keep track of them since they moved to another part of the city and then they moved again. Other than that, we had good interactions with the company that sold the Four Seasons and the quality of the work done was good.

I used Four Seasons 20 years ago in New York City, so I got them again this time to build a sunroom at the back of the house. The contractor working for Four Seasons was very good and he had an assistant who was great as well. Some heavy lifting had to be done and they did exactly what we wanted. But it took a long time to complete the construction and there were some mistakes made. For example, the sunroom was partially built and left open. But South Carolina gets huge rainstorms in the summer and there was one point where the base of the sunroom had been installed but none of the windows had been put in, so the sunroom was filled up with six inches of water. My wife and I had to shovel the water out as it was almost coming into our kitchen.
Nevertheless, the contractor stayed in contact with us throughout the process. The overall quality of the work was excellent and we're very happy with the result. I would highly recommend Four Seasons. We're currently living in Connecticut and we are considering putting a sunroom too at the back of our house in Connecticut.

I was interested in purchasing some windows but when the salesman from Four Seasons was here, I told him that I was going to hold off on my order because I should do the fence first. But he wanted me to sign the contract that day so he called their office manager, Mark. I spoke with Mark and he told me that they could also do the fence for me. I didn’t know they did fences and he said I’d be surprised with what they could do. My house had a four feet high fence which was put up in ’85. I moved here in ’98 so it was shabby and some boards needed replacement. I wanted a six foot fence and because I live by myself and did not want to have to go through painting the fence, I wanted vinyl. Their salesman was trying to convince me to put the same type of picket fence with the same height, but I told him that's not what I wanted. So he said that they’ll do the six foot vinyl fence for me.
I wanted something that would last a long time and Four Seasons was a reputable company. They also told me that they could do both the windows and the fence at one time so I hired them. But they didn't do it all at one-time. They did the windows first. The back window sticks but I never asked them to come back on that because it was something I could live with. Then someone came and measured the fence. He was a Hispanic guy and he arrived late in the afternoon. I was going out of town and I didn't know he was coming that particular day so I ended up leaving late. I had to stay and wait for him to leave even though I don’t like driving after dark. When he finished, he asked me to come out and look at it and I told him it was fine, but I was really rushing. Later, it turned out that his measurement was wrong.
A couple of weeks later, they had a sub-contractor come and do the fence. He came by himself and he did the best he could with what he had. But it's supposed to be a privacy fence but I could see through it. I told Four Seasons that I was not satisfied with the fence but I had already paid them and they felt no need to come back and do anything. I paid for it in cash so I can't even hold back to say I'm not making payment for anything. I sent their salesman a couple of emails and it got to a point where he stopped responding to me. That's when I decided that if they’re not going to talk to me I was going to the Better Business Bureau. So I filed a report then the BBB reached out to Four Seasons and gave them a time frame to respond. It cost me $25 for the BBB to look at my problem but it was important to me at that time. The BBB then told me that they received no response from Four Seasons.
So far, I have given up on the fence since this issue has been almost over a year. But I’ll give the facts if anybody asked me about it and I would't recommend Four Seasons for anything. In fact, three of my friends at work that knew I was having my windows done said that they’re also going to get Four Seasons to do their windows. I told them I had no problem with my windows but I wouldn’t recommend that they hire Four Seasons because I paid them a lot of money and they didn't care to give me satisfaction on the fence. This issue may not be that way nationwide and I may have been the only customer who had it. But at the same time, I was dealing with somebody out of Raleigh, North Carolina so it was the local people I was dealing with and they didn't seem to care to see that I got satisfaction.

I’ve had two sunrooms from Four Seasons and the newer one is a regular size and is only at the beginning of last year. The other one is a very large room and dates back to 1995. I never had an ounce of trouble with it. It’s beautiful. And one time bugs were coming in and they sent somebody over and sealed it and I wrote them a whole letter to appreciate. I'm a very pleased customer.
Both the contractors were very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. They knew what they were talking about. Both were absolutely fabulous -- neat, clean, precise and on the job in terms of people coming to check on what the workers were doing and making sure that I was happy with everything as we went along with the project. Every nuance of the construction and what they said was what they actually did.
I know it's always a big consideration when you're going to build a room and Four Seasons is a wonderful business to associate with. I am more than pleased and more than happy with them. They have terrific craftsmanship and I could only have high commendation for them. Not a drop of whatever during heavy rainstorms and hail so they had to be doing something right.

A salesman from Four Seasons visited us and convinced us to go with them. We're happy with the windows they installed in the house. It was not cheap but it was fair. However they could improve their communication. The fact that these were vinyl frames and cannot accommodate air conditioners was not brought to our attention. We realized we could not use the air conditioners that we have in the house, only after the windows were installed. I felt that that was the fault of the salesman and that the communication was bad on that end.
It was also bad in terms of the payment. They didn't really give us any notice about rendering payment. They surprised us when somebody came to the house and demanded a check before the job was done. It was a turnoff. But the work itself was adequate. Plus, the guys who they used to install the windows were fine and the quality of the glass was good.
Thank you for your feedback, it is only with constructive comments such as yours that we can attain excellence. At Four Seasons Sunrooms & Windows we are committed to exceeding expectations and while it saddens us to hear there were communication issues, we only want to leave a project with happy faces. We are glad you are happy with the product and with your help strive for 100% customer satisfaction.

We've had Four Seasons Sunrooms for quite a while now and we're happy with them. They're okay weather-wise. Also my wife is a shorty like me and it's easy for her to bring the panel down and clean them inside out. The company they replaced were picky and gave us an attitude but Four Seasons professionally put it in. They were in and out before we even knew they were here. That’s how fine they cleaned up. I’ve never had a contractor of any stature that came in, was fast at their work, professional, and cleaned up like they did. Their rep was also really nice. We looked at different places and he convinced us to go with them. And we're pleased with them. I am an ex-military and he gave me good prices.

My wife always wanted a new look and feel of the windows and I jumped onto it. We ordered windows from Four Seasons and their sales guy was amazing. He explained everything to us and ordered all the different windows. They scheduled the installation but Four Seasons was not able to build some of the windows due to cold so they rescheduled it. Every time they schedule and reschedule, I was losing a day at work. Then, when they came in and did the installation of part of the windows, they wanted me to sign an exemption letter from Windstorm because their windows will not pass the inspection. I told them I couldn’t do that and they delayed my installation.
Finally, I had to call the bank and cancel the payment. I am so glad that I did not pay my cash. I paid through the credit so that I would be able to negotiate. The bank became a mediator between me and Four Seasons and after about four weeks of debates and going back and forth, plus calling the highest level of people in Four Seasons, they agreed to come and install the remaining windows. When they realized that they were not going to get paid, that is when their eyes opened and they tried to bend their ways to get the windows installed. But that’s not the way to do business. Those windows are still not approved but that was the best we could get at that time and we moved forward.
The best and the worst part was we are very close to 32 families who all needed windows replacement and they were looking for our experience with our windows. We jumped into this first and I gave a thumbs down to all of them because I don’t think that the guys at Four Seasons are knowledgeable or experienced in windows. Their sales guy says one thing but their installation or manufacturing guys have absolutely no clue what their sales guy signed up for. They were not customer service friendly either and I had to call the installation manager every day until I found some type of regional manager. They never listened to my feedback and even when I called their senior leadership, they were not willing to listen or work with me. Their price is not cheap either and they are one of the highly expensive windows.
Four Seasons should learn to understand their customers and be truthful. An average consumer like me has very less time to learn about glass windows and how they are being manufactured. So if their windows are not approved by the board, they should disclose that and why they’re selling it so that we won’t be expecting Windstorm certified windows from them. I trusted their salesperson and I was looking forward to the installation but our experience was a nightmare. It also created friction between me and my wife. We had to see multiple attorneys, family consultation, and a lot of expenses on top of what I paid for the windows. I wanted to be satisfied and happy but my experience with them was devastating. Four Seasons is so bad and I hate them. I will never recommend them to anybody.

We were down at the Royal Winter Fair and there was a booth where we saw Four Seasons Sunrooms. Whatever that was advertised on media, we saw there. We wanted a sunroom and we originally tried Lifestyle, but the salesman let us down. We then phoned Four Seasons and everything was great with their salesman. He was fantastic and knowledgeable. He walked us through the whole procedure, explained the finances, and got us the price. However, the use of a subcontractor was disappointing. He wasn’t very good and there was a big delay in starting the construction. We were promised something in June and nothing really got finished until November. We were told to arrange to have the foundation done and we were recommended a guy who completed it and did a great job. But, it was completely a long time before Four Seasons even came with the building materials to start the job.
Our sunroom is attached to the back of our house, so there was a patio door that had to be knocked out of the concrete wall that separated the back of the house and the backyard where the sunroom was built on to. The subcontractor failed to put a lintel above the doorway and he just got some old lumber from behind my shed and stuck it up there. When the guys came to check the work with regards to the building permit, I was told that the subcontractor's work was not right. There was also a mess in our backyard because of him since he stored all of the stuff in the back until the sunroom was built.
We've had work done to our house previous times already and it always seemed like we’re always stuck with a subcontractor who doesn't know his left foot from his right one. The substandard work eventually gets fixed up but it's really a stressful process while it's all happening. But everything's okay now. We use the sunroom and it's fantastic.

We invited quotes from three different places. I found the quote from Four Seasons and the statement about the quality of their product to be the best one. The sales representatives did a very good job. The contractor who represented Four Seasons did a very excellent job as well as he went beyond his normal work to make sure that the work was completed on time and that the quality was there. However, the quality of the sunroom was not up to my satisfaction. After one year of use, moisture started leaking inside the sunroom. I see more than mildew developing in the cracks as a result of water seeping in and the seep holes are not draining water properly. The way the glass was designed retains water after the rain. Now, the sunroom doesn’t look like the way it was before and there is a lot of cleaning effort that’s required to maintain it. I called them a couple of times about it and if I had a second chance, I would not refer Four Seasons to anybody.

In the 80s, I designed our solar room to be the most efficient type of design in terms of least energy used. It is about 18 x 15 and a passive solar heat source for our home. We bought it from Four Seasons at the time and their service was good. They met my parameters of the design and built it according to my plan. I did all the concrete work, some of the woodwork and part of the construction that was done with putting the glasses on our solar room. I also did all the tile work and my relative did the brickwork.
The solar room does exactly what we expected it to do and we use it every day as part of our home now. In January when it’s 30 degrees outside by 11 o’clock in the morning, our solar room is 80 degrees. I open its door and it heats our house for four hours straight. We also have an airtight stove that we use as a solar system booster. So, when we're not running the solar room and it’s not producing heat, we have the wood stove which is fairly natural, too, and we have it backed up with a modern furnace system. We don’t have to heat our solar room with accessory heat because we designed it to have zone built-in heat into the type of masonry that we use. It soaks up the heat during the day, gives it back for three hours at night, then later on, we might want to occasionally just open the door and let the heat from the wood stove go here with a fan.
About 20 years after the greenhouse was installed, the glass disintegrated or failed to function properly. The rubber seals on the original glass rotted away so all the glass had to be replaced. We got the replacement glass from Four Seasons and they should’ve given us a big subsidy on that because it was their material that deteriorated. But the replacement glass has been in there for 10 years at least. They’ve done the work and for the most part, I’m satisfied with the major portions of this thing. Also, anything that we bought for this solar room is unique to Four Seasons and it has to come through them. I let them replace the glass because if I did it myself, it won’t be under warranty. This is the reason why we used them to do some of the repairs and replacements. It’s like buying a Chevy and you can’t get your parts from Ford.
There were a few little things that we weren’t thrilled with but their service center is not too far from me. It’s about 20 miles away so I was not in the situation where I’d have to go 100 miles to get service. So, that’s not much considering that they’re in a construction business and they’re selling just solar rooms. They also responded to my phone calls quickly and we’ve had the guys come to service the equipment. Four Seasons has been around for a long time now and there are other companies out here doing the same thing but I’m hoping that Four Seasons remains in business because I don’t know where I will get my parts if something happens to them. It’s hard to get rid of a solar room and consider buying a new one. When I purchased mine, it was less than 6,000 and now I understand solar rooms are worth 10 times that price.
Four Seasons' contractors have been here three or four times for different things and we don’t always get the same guy. They’ve come, done the repairs, and left them in good condition. They are very capable and competent people. At one point, they did something and there was a little leak. It’s a glass room with aluminum frames and some of the screws loosened up. The guy came back, tightened the screws and the leak stopped. So they met all my expectations for the most part. They’ve also tried to fix the wheels on a sliding door that I have for three or four times and they weren’t able to fix that. But it was not a big deal and everything else that they did was great. I’d give Four Seasons an A- score on a scale of that type and I’d recommend them to a friend.

I have a very large Four Seasons unit in my house, one of the largest for homes. The whole back of the house is glass with Four Seasons. When I put it in, they provided great service. It was a great product and the price was fair. Everything was good. I recently had to replace the little glass panels and the price is outrageous. Three windows cost $3,750 and the size of these windows is not big. If I want the windows that are of the same transparency as those I bought 31 years ago, I have to pay a $500 premium per window. I can't match the old. I have a 20% tint to lower the UV light coming in. They have a new window now that blocks the heat from coming in, but has the total transparency.
That was the only the beginning. I said, "Okay, you guys have me. I can't go anywhere else. 3,750 bucks, I'll take the new windows." I was notified that the nearest person is in Bristol, Pennsylvania. That is about an hour and a half from me. They scheduled the visit and the guys came out. They put two glasses in and they realized that the third glass did not fit. This was measured by their engineer who came out about a month before that. So, I have a dysfunctional glass. These windows have a gas layer in between two sheets of glass. It's argon gas. When you break the seal, it fogs the window, so you can't see through it.
They came out a second time with that one glass, and it didn't fit again. I have not heard from them since. I paid all but $500 of the $3,750 because they said, "You keep the 500 until we replace the other glass." Now they've tried twice and it hasn't worked. So, I'm sitting here with one window that's fogged and I have two more windows that lost their seal, so I'm going to be back to paying something about $2,500 to $3,500 bucks just to replace those. It's ridiculous. They're taking advantage of me. They're telling me that the unit is horrible and if I want to replace the entire greenhouse, it's going to cost $185,000.
The old Four Seasons was great, but the new Four Season stinks. I'm told they're now owned by a company in United Kingdom, and the UK management is run by accounts, and I can see why. The customer service stinks. I'm still waiting to hear from them when they're going to come out and replace the window. That was three weeks ago when they came out last time. And I got to be home when they do it because they have to come into my house. Each time is an inconvenience for me. I'm an entrepreneur, I run my business. For me to take time to do that is costing me money. We started this before the Fourth of July and it's now September. They said the reason is they have to order it special from the factory. I said, " I didn't order a special window. You're charging me for this special glass, which happens to be your new glass." They said, "Well, you got an old unit, so it's a special order."
If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't have put a unit in. But they are gorgeous. We live on two acres with woods in the back, and it brings the woods into your house, with all that glass. You could sit there and watch a snowstorm happen, and you could have a fire. That's what we do. My wife and I did this, and we love it, but we didn't realize that it was going to cost this much money. I'd be happy to go to who competes with Four Seasons that can replace windows for Four Seasons.

I was looking for someone to do a seam porch so I Googled the information online. And I called Four Seasons and someone returned my call. They came over to give me a free estimate. The first sales representative came out and promised me everything. It went fine and everything was good. With the contractor we had some back and forth. They had promises but never followed through. We talked to the sales representative twice but the resolutions were all still the same. It took a while for them to come out and install the back porch. It was not done in the time they told me it was going to get done. I had to keep making phone calls and there were a lot of excuses as to why no one came out to do anything.
When they finally came out and did it they did it wrong. I was promised the base of it was supposed to be higher but it was actually just floor base so that was done wrong. They came back out and they put another high base around it just to satisfy me. But overall I get good comments and compliments on the sunroom. I had a sunroom put in years ago by Four Seasons and then I had all my windows replaced because they got messed up after so many years. I negotiated with them and they gave me the best price. When they started the job, I didn’t have to wait a long time before they put in the windows and their work was good. The glass windows are meant not to break and it would just spider out. And all of a sudden, one of them needed to be replaced and Four Seasons thought it was hit by an acorn, and it wasn’t a problem for them replacing it right away.
I had an issue with the crank that goes on the certain windows that open. The person that took the measurements didn’t take into account that the crank wasn’t going to fit because there was this border thing in my sunroom so there was no space to crank the window open. It took a while for them to get back to me on that. I called them a couple of times and then they had told me that some guy was supposed to come, but he didn’t show up, which was the worst part. But otherwise, the guys were nice and when I suggested cutting the metal where the crank is for me to have room to open the window, they did exactly what I suggested.

Four Seasons did an entire sunroom for us and it’s extremely well done. They created all the glass walls and glass ceilings. They have very good materials and their products are as good as they say they are. They are also the best in the market. Dealing with their sales rep was quite acceptable but the interaction we had with their contractor was less than ideal. We had difficulty with the project manager because he didn't want to deliver all that the salesman expressed in the first place. So we argued about the various levels that they did like whether to include vinyl flooring and other kinds of things. We were able to push through it and get it done, but it reached the point where we told him to get a lawyer and we'll get ours then we would decide where we would settle it. But he ended up doing what the salesman originally said they would do, so we didn't have to do that.
Four Seasons also sold us the lifetime warranty, but in practicality, you're lucky if you got a 10-year warranty from them. We have two small leaks in the caulking on the roof and we are still within the 10 year period. They are just tiny leaks so it's shouldn't be a huge deal and it's not something we would be angry about as far as the product is concerned. But my wife decided to have tea in the sunroom on a rainy day and raindrops dripped on the dress of one of the guests.
So, we have to call Four Seasons about it and ask them to re-caulk. But to do that, we normally have to start with the person in charge and give them a chance to come and do it. If they didn't, we would go to the company, tell them the response we got and hope that they’ll take care of it. In this case, it's a burden for us because of the unpleasant experience we had with the project manager. He is the only person we had contact with and he is who we have to call so we are more hesitant and we don't look forward to calling.

Having Four Seasons was something that has been decided for many years. They are well-known by everyone and they did a lovely job for everybody who was happy with them, except for a few people that have complaints. Four Seasons worked on my greenhouse and their quality of work was fine. They were very concerned with what they were doing and they backed up as they promise. Whatever work they did was professional.
Contacting the contractors was a little aggressive so I tried to do my best to what accommodates them. Also, they kept raising the price and the reason I'm selling up is that I already had the service done and I'm happy with what I had. My sister had Four Season's service four years before me and she paid $10,000 less than I did. It might be due to the labor or the material, but they're not paying attention to what they're charging the people. I paid a little too much, but that was okay. They got to keep up the price in line with the good work. They worked so hard and did a good job but they could lose clients because they raised the prices too high. They should keep a good relationship with the people and try not to jump from one place to another which is what they're doing and that's the best advertisement they could do. Other than that, I'm satisfied with their work.

I’ve used Four Seasons Sunrooms twice. I had a not so good experience with the first one while the other one was pretty good. Their salespeople didn’t give me the best information and it seemed that what they wanted was to make their sale. Also, the first time I had Four Seasons, their reps wouldn’t deliver to my house so I had to pick the products up. They were going to charge me a lot of money for the installation, too, even though it’s just a few more miles, so I had somebody else install them.
Their customer service could be better as well. It's hard to get a hold of their reps. Also, they didn't get back to me in a timely way. They're trying to keep selling me things, but they’re not so good in making sure that I’m satisfied with their product and in checking to see if there's anything that they could do to be able to help me. I used to run companies and I could tell that they need to be more modern in the use of the technology inside their office. They should at least have an operator like they used to do, because I didn't know what department was even available since they didn't answer their phones.
However, Four Seasons’ products are top of the line. I've already bought windows and got some replacements. They are wonderful in terms of how much they can reduce the heating and cooling of the house. Some of the parts were faulty though, so I wasn't really always thrilled with that. The casing for the windows could be better. I bought the second set of windows from them almost two years ago and even though they say that it’s virgin vinyl framing, it doesn’t seem really strong. Four Seasons should have the option of giving the windows wood casing and new products that are not vinyl because these windows are very expensive.

Four Seasons Sunrooms took a long time to finish the sunroom. They started in May and they finished by the end of September last year. The town inspector came thrice and told them that things had to be done a certain way, so a lot of changes were made. Two, sometimes three, contractors worked. If there was only one person left, we would ask him to call the other person. However, there were some problems with the contractors not fully understanding what he had to do. We called and wrote a couple of letters to Four Seasons about it and they took care of it. They also made sure that the person doing the work did what he was supposed to do. The unit is holding up well. There's no leak so far and I'm satisfied with it. However, the base where the sunroom meets the house wasn't filled as it should have been. We're going to contact them about that.

We used Four Seasons for the first time six years ago. Then we called them back and had them put in the rest of our windows. They've always been a reputable company and during the first installation, the man was like a magician and did great. We had 13 windows across the back of our house and he had to carry them from my front driveway and around to the back of the house. He did all of that in a one day plus two hours the next day. But for the second crew, I would have liked to run them off. They just hammered the window in if they couldn't make it fit. Still, I like the windows and they all work, keep us dry and cool the house a lot better. The quality is great and the price is reasonable. I would give them a good recommendation.

We've had a Four Seasons sunroom since 1995 and it was re-done in 2015. The previous windows that were installed in 1995 were superior but the quality of installation was poor. Now, we got very poor quality windows. When the rain came in, we needed an umbrella. They sent installers to fix it but they did the job very poorly. Also, the sales rep was phony. He said the windows clean themselves and the bird dropping is not going to stay but he lied. Four Seasons should do what they offered and promised to do.

Our original project was done years before. Over the years, we noticed that we were getting leaks. It was repaired back in April and the gentleman that was sent out as a contractor did a superb job. We had another project where we had enclosed our back patio. The contractor finished the project but it took a long time to get it done and his customer service skills were very lacking. We are very pleased with both projects. We love them dearly and we enjoy them. Unfortunately, we're waiting for repairs because of the hurricane. We're trying to get the assessment process handled and the last person I talked to in customer service told me that all of the contractors were overloaded. We're waiting to see when we are going to get on the list so that we can get our repairs done.
We hope Four Seasons Sunrooms & Windows increase the number of contractors. The gentleman that did our last contract was really strict to the highest degree. He was handling our contract and traveling across the country doing multiple projects. He could have finished the project a lot sooner if he didn’t have to travel so much. I hope that the company is investing in hiring capable contractors so that the project can move ahead in a much timely manner. But I still love and recommend Four Seasons because the product is top-rate.

Four Seasons did the repair work and they were very good. My cousin was interested in adding a Four Seasons room, but she was upstate and wasn't ready to do it then. So, I brought her at Four Seasons because I knew they were good. They walked us around each model, explained everything in detail, let us hang out, and there was no pressure. Four Seasons is a well-known name and they were at the street fair that we have every year, and they came here and gave me an estimate. We were unsure if we really wanted to do it. But then the sales rep had her manager come and discuss everything with us. And they did a little bit more than they had originally said for the same amount. So, we decided to do the project. Their work was fairly good. There were a couple of things that I really wasn’t happy with but it could have been a misunderstanding from the very beginning and I didn’t hold them totally responsible for it. They did not remove the outdoor vinyl siding, which I thought they were going to do. And I thought they were going to put sheetrock on it. And then, we also had a leak but they came back and fixed it, and they were very pleasant about it.

But when I went to look at the place where I had previously bought my Four Seasons products, they had left Houston, which left me high and dry. But I'm glad Four Seasons is back here and they took care of my next purchase, and they again installed windows for me. I dealt with the owner of the company and the sales reps did everything that he said, so I have nothing bad to say about that. The contractor that I dealt with, Colonial Builders, and the quality of the work they did was very good. After looking on the internet and finding Four Seasons Sunrooms, their salesman came by and demonstrated how their windows were. Later on, he had very little time for us but I guess he is in the business to make more sales. He was a good salesman, that's for sure. The vendors are good. They were pricey, though. It's a little up and down with the prices, but it was okay. We wanted windows and we didn't want to freeze. We had repair people from New Jersey on that day. And these fellows were fast. I was very agreeable with them but certain things were not explained to us either. They just ran because they wanted to get home and watch a world soccer championship game, but they did a good job and I couldn't say that it's sloppy.
I had the window for half a year, then it was not closing. I couldn't get it down. It was very hard and something was wrong with the lock. The repairman came but belittled me like I wouldn't know how to do it. It was supposed to be fixed but it is not fixed to this day. That is that one window where we have a problem with the latch. I have never called back because I was so angry inside and there is no need for an arrogant guy to tell you how stupid you are. The way we were treated by that one repairman, that was not very good and that was the only time we ever called. We like the windows and we were grateful to have better windows. Maybe the caulking wasn't exactly state of the art, but since the building is old, I look away. I would be very fuzzy if it would be my own home or newly-built home.

So, Four Seasons came and installed sections in those two spots because I didn't open the windows anyway. They also put new glass in the original door that they had done, but that was never finished properly and I'm not terribly happy with it. They didn't do the seal and the doorknob properly. My kitchen had builder grade cabinets and flooring for 25 years and I wanted something new. The Four Seasons Sunrooms rep said that they would be responsible for everything and it would cost $25,000. She was a great salesperson. She portrayed herself as not only a sales representative but also a kitchen designer. I needed all the cabinets removed, the kitchen gutted and new flooring put down. I wanted to pick out functional and decent cabinets and she said that they will have a person to come out and measure. They’ll go over everything with me, every step of the way. In my naivete, I agreed and as it progressed, it wasn't so great.
I wanted to open up the wall, which they said was no problem and incorporated into the $25,000. It turned out not to be. The backsplash tiles weren't part of the $25,000 too. Everything was extra. I had to pay for the laminate beam, the structural support and the electrician who came in. Also, I had wanted white upper cabinets and dark rich brown bottom cabinets. When the installers came with the bottom cabinets, they weren't brown at all, they were red. It wasn't the dark rich brown I was going with. The owner of Four Seasons came to my house to tell me that it was my error that I had picked out the color. It would also cost me an additional $1,800 to have new cabinets and delay the final installation.
I also had to pay additional for the flooring I wanted because I picked out porcelain wood-type tile which was not part of the $25,000. Plus, I had to pay extra because we had to have a special cement bed put down on the subflooring. Also, when they pulled off all the old cabinets, they damaged the drywall and they will only put a new one up if I buy it. I wound up paying $900, splitting the cost of having them repaint the bottom cabinets with them. When they were finally done, the kitchen is fine and it's functional. It looks decent but I would never recommend Four Seasons. I would never ever hire them again. They were horrible and they don't deserve to have a license. They made me feel like I was making the mistake. If I didn't adhere to it, then they would leave my kitchen in shambles. I had to buy all new appliances. It was not a good experience on any level.

They left a trim with big grooves in and nothing was sanded smooth. Plus, we spent several hundred dollars in our bedroom to have all the woodwork replaced after they were here.
The installers were pleasant people, but they rushed in and out. We trusted them and didn't lean over their shoulder while they did it, but when we saw the mess they left, we were upset. We contacted Four Seasons about it, but nothing was done. We were having other things done in our house, so we just went and repaired it ourselves. I've had my sunroom for 20 years and I liked the design that Four Seasons had. Recently, I had the roof of the room replaced as it was leaking. I tried to have this work done a few years ago but it was very costly then. This time, it was a better deal. The sales team were able to answer my questions for the most part. They showed me that the sun won’t be able to penetrate new glass because it will be tinted and will keep the heat down. But when I asked the reverse question, "In the winter, how is it going to be warm if it's going to block it?" they said the heat will come from the sides and that wasn't satisfactory to me. Since I don't have the heat in there, I don't use it for four seasons so it's just a three-season room. Other than that, I had an excellent craftsman. We were solicited by Four Seasons and we were impressed with the pictures that we saw. What sold us was their glass has very little heat coming through and you just get the light. I was like, "That's great. That's gonna save us money." But during the summer, it gets really hot on that side of the house. The sales reps were very nice, however, the problem is that every time there was a situation there was a different person involved. But the contractors were the worst situation that we had to deal with.
We have young kids and we don't want strangers to know the house condition, to come in and use some of the things especially what our little kids are using and that was mainly the big problem I have. A porta-potty is $175 a day, depends on who you get it from and I think you're doing a job that is that much money, you really should have that in here. One of the smaller problems was I realized one of the kids they have measuring out the cutouts for the plywood. He was unable to read the measurements because he kept going back and forth and I realized that he was just looking at the numbers and trying to remember the exact points.
Also, we found dyes that were pink at the back of our garage and our flower bed. It was a bunch of little problems that at the end of the day, we found out the job was subcontracted, not a regular team that works directly for them. We also think they need to hire people who know how to speak English and if they're gonna have some contract, they should know that the subcontract is outgoing message both in English and Spanish release. When there were problems, they come and take care of them and we just felt we were dealing with a good reputable company. We should get good reputable service and it wasn't quite the experience.

I was trying to replace the windows on my house and when I Google searched, companies popped up like Andersen Windows. I searched and I liked the window product that Four Seasons was advertising. I did 27 windows and the two guys that came out did them in two and a half days. I have a 6 x 4 picture window and then there's a big window above that. It's a 20-ft. ceiling, so they had to work in that form. It was a large job. But the first rep that I talked to was a dumbass. I called and canceled my request for windows through Four Seasons because I signed the contract for the windows and I wanted to change three double-hung windows in the sunroom which were horrible. I wanted it to be like a picture window. And so, when I asked to do that, the first guy said that with the way it's designed, they can’t do that and they can't change it.
Then, when I was talking to someone else about the windows, they asked me why I can’t change it. I told them that the window guy said we can’t. So then, after I started doing a little digging, I found that I could. I wasn't ready to make a decision yet and I wanted to do a little bit more research because I really hated the double-hung windows that were in that sunroom. And so then, I canceled it. I was extremely dissatisfied with the first guy. When he brought in his demonstration window, the window wouldn’t work. But I knew the window because I had heard about the window from someone else when I started doing my research. So I was interested in it.
His manager called and talked to me about it. I told him what I want to do and he came out and spent three hours going over the windows and the order. We changed it to the picture window with two sliders and we changed another window in the living room to sliders. Most of them are casement windows so we spent quite a bit of time on it. And finally, I was happy. I signed a new contract because we changed some of the windows and then it continued. The first salesman wanted to get the contract signed and go but the area manager was more interested in what I wanted instead of simply looking at what's in my house. When he put those new windows, it changed the entire outlook of that room. It was awesome. This was three years ago.
Six months ago, I'm standing in the living room and there's a big storm and it's raining. If I wasn’t standing there, I never would have noticed I started getting dripped on. I called the manager back because these are guaranteed for life. I haven't talked to him in a few years and he told me that the business is no longer operating because they went out of business. But he offered to send somebody over there to fix my window at $60 an hour. I said, “No, thank you.” Then, I was talking to somebody who was going to help me with my porch and he asked me who installed my windows. So, I told him and I also said they were out of business. He said they're not out of business. When they were dumping their windows at the dump, there was a guy there from Four Seasons so he knew they're still in business. Maybe not the contractor that I dealt with but at least I still have a warranty on my windows.
I like the product. Plus, the installation process and the guys that came out were awesome. The guys didn’t leave a mess and did a beautiful job. I have zero complaints. It's just that when I had the window leak, I ended up fixing it myself. It needed some caulking on the outside where the window met the frame. It had deteriorated from the sun. But other than that, I am extremely pleased with the windows.

But unfortunately, they didn't. At the beginning, everything was smooth. The salesperson got our check very swift and after that, nobody contacted us for about a few months. I tried to call and they said they changed the manager like nobody is working on this project anymore and we have to talk to a new person, like the new manager in charge for this project. After a while, the other new manager is gone which was why it took almost a year and a half to finish the whole project. And I don't have anyone to contact with after they finish the whole thing.
And there are still some problems about the concrete they put where there's a big crack on the front and on the side. We also saw leaking underneath of the brick which we put the tile above it. I gave them money when they first came here, but then they didn't come. I then called them and sent letters to the general manager of the business. Finally an employee came and it took more than one day to be done. At that time, I was working full-time and my baby sitter was appalled because he was completely inappropriate with her. It was to the point where I stayed home the next day because I didn't feel comfortable leaving her and my child with him.
I also had an entire side of the house replaced with glass that was more efficient at either keeping the heat out or in, depending on the season. It was just a run around on when I would have a date. It went on for months six months. We went with them again because they have special tracks for the glass and I couldn't just go to a glass manufacturer and have it replaced, so I didn't have many choices. My understanding was that Four Seasons is the one that did the original installation when the building was built 25 years ago and I was told nobody else does it anymore. I replaced the original glass with a two-paned glass with the gas in the middle, which is supposed to keep the room dramatically cooler than the original glass. The overall quality of the work was satisfactory but it's not the issue. Their salesperson came and had his little demonstration with a double-sided glass. He put a heat gun against one side, and the other side was cool. The temperature in the room was getting up to 100 degrees. When he showed me that, there was a drop of 20 degrees or more on the other side of the glass. So, I had the job done for $11,500, and I'd like to take the job and put it where the sun doesn't shine because it was a rip-off. It hasn't changed the temperature in the room one bit, not one degree.
The salesperson should have had the gun on the glass for 20 or 30 minutes instead of a minute or two. It needed time to penetrate, and I had no idea that it takes a while before the real heat on the other side is what you're going to get. I complained to their President or VP till I was blue in the face. After all the complaining, the best he could do was give my wife and me $100 to go out and eat in a nice restaurant. It was horrible. I wasted every penny of my money and got nothing out of it.

Four Seasons helped me with a set of glass wall, windows and a door. I was thinking about putting tiles on the floor now, but the entrance door is so low to the ground until it scraped when you put anything underneath it. It was a former carport and when contractors build a carport, they don't necessarily make it all even. So right at the door, one end is a little higher than the other and there's not enough clearance and I wish they paid more attention to that. I didn’t notice it right away so I didn’t complain about the door, but I figured out to put pave on partially and put an epoxy paint on the rest of it.
The quality was very good and my neighbors liked it. There were no leaks and it's a nice sealed room. We had a few storms but no rattling and when it blows out there, I can't even tell the wind is blowing except when I put the flag out. Also, I wanted the door to swing in because I didn’t want the problem leaving it open and the wind blowing it, and they did just like I wanted. But it probably wouldn’t have caused any problems because the material is very sturdy.

We live near Houston and we have a sunroom which was destroyed by Hurricane Pike. We had it when we moved in, a tree fell on it so it had to be replaced and we had to find a builder. I searched through the internet and other sites and Four Seasons Sunrooms was the name that came up. We didn’t have a whole lot of choices because not a lot of other companies continue to do that kind of work. They finished the work here five years ago and the quality was fairly good. It has some problems that the previous sunroom didn’t have. We’re having heavy rains right now so we had some leaks, but given the type of connection with our home itself, it is understandable that we would have them. So, I don’t attribute that to the work as much as I do to what they had to work with what we had.
I had a terrible experience with the sales reps. They’ve sent me evaluations a couple of times and I've always given them as negative an evaluation as I could. The representatives of the company here in the Houston area were extremely unprofessional and indifferent to us. I went to their store. It's a half an hour from our home. I talked to a man and he came out to our house, did an evaluation, told us what we needed and how much it would cost. Then, I didn’t hear from him again for two months. Finally, when I contacted again, they said he had left the company but they will do whatever he said they would do. They asked for a deposit and I gave them $5,000. The total cost of the sunroom was going to be $30,000. There was nothing for a couple of months. And so, I finally stopped payment on the check and tried to reach out to them again.
Essentially what we realized were a bunch of lies that they had problems with their management and with supplies. Initially, they started to work but I had to give them checks again. It took a while to get the material made in New York and shipped down here by truck. They got halfway through the work and stopped for three weeks because they didn’t have all the material that they needed to finish the work. Most of the sunroom was right across our backyard. But the two guys that were sent out were equivalent to that movie you might have seen called Dumb and Dumber. They didn't know what they were doing. They were clumsy, silly and didn’t have a professional attitude. They were also in no hurry to get it finished. They are contract workers rather than working directly with the company and so, they were indifferent to whether they did any work or when it was done.
They finally did a decent job but it took a very long time, a lot of anger and a lot of trips back and forth to their store, being lied to, misrepresenting and telling us things that we knew not to be true. There were turnovers at management. I'd call over there and I'd ask to speak to somebody and they would say that the person doesn't work there anymore and then somebody else will have to get up the speed and get going on it. It took six months to do a job that should have taken three weeks altogether. The company is totally incompetent and I wouldn’t use them again if they were the only company around. I'd do without, rather than going back to them.
I was totally dissatisfied. It has been five years and they could have turned themselves around by now. But I wouldn't trust them to it myself and I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. Sometimes, they're very popular here which is curious because they could make a lot of money but not out of us. It certainly was goodwill. We have guests in our home all the time, who come out, walk into our sunroom and say it’s beautiful, great and they like it. We like it but it just was far more difficult to get built than it should have been.

I had incorrectly heard that Four Seasons Sunrooms is a good company so I had them build a room. The sales representative was very nice but the contractors were less than adequate. I'm very unhappy with the room. Also, a window broke and it's under warranty, and they're going to replace it, but that hasn't happened yet. I would definitely not advise anybody to use Four Seasons.

Four Seasons Sunrooms has a good reputation so we got them when we put a sunroom on. The electrical contractor was an old grump but he came around. We've had the sunroom for almost 10 years now and we've had leaks a couple of times but they came out and took care of it right away. On the other hand, I have a spring that needs to be replaced but I don't know exactly how to go about that. But other than that, I was very pleased and I had a great experience.

I needed some glass replacements for my windows in my house in Long Island and looked at who had done the previous one. It was written Four Seasons on the glass so I called them and got eight pieces of sunroom glass replaced. Then I got a call from one of the guys because they used to call us to ask if we need other work done. I told them I need my apartment fixed so some guy came there to evaluate but he never got back to me on what it was or when to call us and just disappeared. Other than that, the first job that they did for us, the sunroom glass, was very well done and I was happy with the overall quality of work. I would recommend them to a friend.

Four Seasons Sunrooms is a local company and I've done some research and heard good things about the product. Their sales team was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I had the windows replaced and I'm happy with them. But, I was not happy with the installation. We've just had the floors of the house redone but when I got home from work, there was plastic everywhere and they scratched the floor because they dragged the windows on it up in the hallway. Also, they did a very poor job on the molding that they put around the window. I've had water leaking in a few of them, so I had to redo them. I made it clear to them that I wasn't too pleased and they took care of it as far as I can tell, but I still had to take care most of it on my own.

The people at Four Seasons were very good and they put out a very nice product. I was first exposed to them through one of those Houston Improvement Districts where you went down those reliance centers. They put in a screened porch patio for me to replace an old one. It’s been about three years now but it’s still holding up really well. The sales rep came to my home and gave me an estimate. He was very thorough and described the product and what they were going to do and got it done. The contractors were fine. First, I had one come out and they went to the roof, making more of a float, and put the patio together within the timeframe. The only thing we had to do was to have the roof custom-ordered because of its length. Otherwise, it went really well. The Four Seasons team were very helpful, very nice and on time. They’re very professional and they did what they promised.

Four Seasons Sunrooms came out and showed us what they could do as far as what their windows did and were about. The rep was great and the pricing was right for me. They also said that they could take care of us in a quick fashion. The contractors, while they seemed to be young, did their job in a professional manner. I had some questions about their installation and they answered things accordingly. The initial quality of the windows done seems well and I like them. They are great windows and were definitely an upgrade compared to what I had before.
Dealing with the rep initially was good, but then after the work was done, it was basically hands-off. I have a problem with one of my windows leaking but I've been unable to get anybody to help me fix that. There's no follow up and I've called in to have somebody call me back to fix the problems and they never called back. The promises that they've made were not kept so I just gave up and dealt with what I had. It made me feel like they were just in it to get my money and they didn't care about my output afterwards. I've had other companies that I've spent more money with that have given me more comfort about being able to deal with me in a later time. I would really have liked to see that because I have spent a good chunk of money. So, I would never go back to them and I would never tell somebody else to go with them.

Four Seasons put in a whole new window for me. When I first got it, it was great. The kids loved it 'cause they thought they were outside. However, the product didn't stand up. I was told with the new glass, I won't have to wash it. But when it rains, it puts some kind of a film on it. The window still has it and I can't go out there and clean it anymore. That's why I said, "Okay. Let's put a new roof." A whole new roof cost me $10,000. The roof was put three years ago and when I called Four Seasons when it first started to leak, they came and did whatever they had to do but then it started all over again.
Now the side window has a broken seal. I told my husband I'm not replacing those because Four Seasons didn't stand up behind what they said. It's supposed to be guaranteed for 20 years. Someone came back and corked it but it started to leak again. I'm going to be 74 years old and I can't be dealing with this anymore, so I just let it stay like that. When it rains, I just mop it up. I'm tired of calling Four Seasons. They never called me back. Also, when I called to replace the screens on the sliding door, they gave me a hard time. I had to go and pick them up instead of them saying they'll mail them to me. They're way out in Sussex. I'm very dissatisfied and won't go through it all over again.

I got a sunroom done by Four Seasons. At that time, there weren't too many companies that seemed to be interested in giving prices, but I was confident that Four Seasons would do a good job so we went with them. The only issue that I had with them was that it took a year longer than it was supposed to to get it done and they weren't really communicating. I bought it on April 3rd because it's my birthday and it was supposed to be built that summer, but it wasn't. They said they would do it before Christmas which they did, but they didn't say which Christmas. I just assumed it was the Christmas that year but they built it the next year. They got into the way, got behind and then it was winter. I didn't want it done in the winter. I got a little grouchy and I would have walked away but I had $10,000 paid down that's why they still got the job.
I also felt very much ignored. There was absolutely no communication unless I ask. And when I would communicate and ask them, they would give me answers but not really the right ones. It's something that got me up for a while. But when they were here, they did a good job and I'm quite satisfied with what I got. If people were to ask me about Four Seasons, I'd tell them they do a great job, but not to expect things done as fast as they wanted.

I was looking for windows and Four Seasons has been in the business for a while. However, they had installed one of the wrong windows and when I had called, the sales representative had a nasty and hateful attitude in his voice. He was very unprofessional. I had to call the district manager who was polite, courteous and very professional so I stuck with it. I also had the aluminum on the window and all of a sudden, it had warped that first year. So I called and the representative talked so nasty, I didn't even want to deal with Four Seasons and I'll never deal with them again.
The contractor was courteous in answering a question I may have asked and they were very professional in installing it as well. But they just did what they were told and they didn't work for Four Seasons. The product is also good but the representatives were horrible. I would not suggest Four Seasons to anybody. It's very expensive and I paid over $7,000 to get attitude. It was a horrible experience overall.

Four Seasons claimed they had a special deal and I got them. They helped us with a sunroom. The overall quality of the work was good and the installers were excellent, but my interaction with the sales reps was horrible. The techs installed most of the windows except the very last one. The factory cut it wrong and it was too short so they had to nail a piece of plywood up there. We waited six weeks or more and kept calling the company but they wouldn’t return our calls until we finally threatened to sue them. Then the window came in and the installers came back and installed it. The people they used to do the cement work to enlarge the patio did it so badly that I had to get on my hands and knees with the chisel and try to straighten it out myself, and I'm 75 years old.
We felt that we should be compensated for some of these, the long time waiting to get the new window ordered from the factory and the fact that they were almost rude to us. This was not the installers but the office that we were dealing with. We understand they went through several personnel changes so we were never talking to the same person. In the end, I think they finally settled and gave us the $500 back as compensation. It was a very long, stressful ordeal to get the thing finished but the product itself is good. The installers did a great job and it looks nice. So far, we're happy with it but on the whole, I don't know if I would recommend Four Seasons. I've had several people who asked me about it because they liked the looks of it, but I said, “If you have to deal with these office people, forget it.”

I was looking for something for a porch on my house, so I went to the home show in Markham. I liked what I saw and got a pretty good deal on an 8 x 16 Four Seasons Sunroom with a glass roof because it was a used item. The package was one that they had set up as a demonstrator and when they changed their demonstration model, they had this one sitting in the warehouse. So, I bought it from them and installed it myself. We had to do a bit of back and forth dickering with the sales rep. They wanted more money than I wanted to pay but we came to an agreement and it was fine. We basically talked to his manager directly at the time on speakerphone and made the deal with the manager but the salesman did the leg work. He set it up for us and did a good job. We also had to figure out whether or not we were going to the ease of my house because I didn't want to have to go above it because that's too much work.
Four Seasons treated me very good. They were right there for anything that I needed. They have this one fellow who knew everything about the unit and every part of it. When I talked to him and if I needed something, I got answers right away. My biggest issue was I had to travel a long way to pick up parts that I needed. There would have been a nearer location in Whitby but that's not who I bought from. They weren't going to honor any commitments other than be able to supply but I have to pay for it. Whereas the people I bought from, they supplied certain things to me that should have been in the package that wasn't, but I had to go and pick them up. That's no big deal. I'm satisfied and it turned out very nice. It's beautiful and it's cool in the summer. There's no heat that comes through the glass. They promised me there wouldn't be. I would definitely recommend them anytime. I'm totally satisfied with Four Seasons.

A lot of magazines show all-glass sunrooms and I knew that Four Seasons Sunrooms & Windows make them so I called them to see what it will take. I got the whole glass sunroom from them and their sales rep was friendly and good. I used their design and when they filed the permit, they were to follow the permit from the Sunroom guy. So, that’s why there were a couple of checks by the city. And sales rep told the Sunroom guy to send the permit. So, that was good because I wasn’t sure. They had to modify the deck according to the engineering requirement but that was supposed to be built by an independent contractor so they had to get a hold of the deck guy. I wanted to make sure that they follow the design.
Four Seasons contractors' were helpful. They were going to get a different floor and I said no because I'll pay more to get the better flooring. I got my own view rock on my floor board and I made them screw all the view rock because they were all just going to nail it and nails generally pop out. They had long screws and they needed that because of the 3 inches of wood from the deck to the view rock. There were thousands of screws and they were tired but it is good. But, I wish the glass was a bit more tinted because it gets hot. I’m doing my best to cover the top a little bit. I needed somebody to tint the windows, the roof as well as the upper windows and it’s a big job. I have used the screen temporarily just like the screen for the windows with the spring. I made that and put the reflector for the top. By next summer, I will have somebody finish the tinting.
There is one caution about the water leak though. They tested it and they were standing on the roof of the house, and there’s a sunroom roof. The water comes from the sky so you got to spray the water up and let it fall down so it takes the force. They didn’t get the leak at that time but within a week, I found a leak. They did not see the front of the top roof part of the sunroom windows and they forgot to seal the one which was right at the edge. When they sprayed the water with the hose, they’re not filling the gutter but when the water pours, the gutter gets filled. The water was seeping through that gap between the last window at the edge and the framing and coming inside like a hose.
One day, within a week, I was getting a lot of water because the water goes through that hole and fills up the gutter. It doesn't empty the gutter fast and because of that, it comes back inside. One of their engineers came over, climbed the roof and sealed it. After that, there was another leak at the end which is near the house. There are about 20 windows on the top and one of the windows needed to be sealed so they did that. It was dripping but it wasn’t as bad as the one in the front. They should fill the edge because sometimes I was also getting cockroaches. They crawl from the creek, come back up and then they try to squeeze through so I had to seal all that along the edge of the house so I don’t have any cockroach issue anymore. I will still recommend them with the tinted only on the top because, otherwise, you won’t be able to see outside. A lot of sunrays are coming from the front and from the side so I would go with a bit tinted.

Four Seasons were at a trade show and they seemed to have good quality windows. Initially, the very first person I spoke with was very knowledgeable and seemed to have a good idea of the company. I was also able to negotiate them down, quite low compared to other companies. But other than the first time meeting them, everybody after that was just terrible.
They replaced all the windows in our home. The work was good once it was completed, but it took at least six visits to my home including the initial installations they haven't completed correctly. The contractors were bad too. They were very ill-equipped to handle the situation and they had no social skills. They even ordered the wrong windows and were only able to install half of them. They didn't caulk half the windows the right way and ended up having to redo one of the windows completely. I also think a window was damaged. They still owe me at least $150, but the whole thing was a fiasco. I finally gave up after fighting for another six months. It was the worst experience and customer service I ever had in my entire life. It was horrendous and absolutely terrible.

Four Seasons Sunrooms & Windows' rep told me that everything was done in-house and that was like icing on the cake. But when the installers got there, they were outsourced. I was pissed off because the salesman lied to me. However, it turned out that the contractors were really good so it didn't bother me. They’re very pleasant, very friendly and they’re really nice to my wife and my children. They’re also quick. They didn’t make a mess and dragged stuff around, which is good. It didn’t feel like dealing with a lot of contractors.
I ended up getting the surrounding kitchen redone such as the ceiling, lighting and the floors. However, like all projects, there’s always something. So, it was the door. They essentially didn’t have one door and I withheld 25% of the payment until I got that door which took about a month and a half. The door was manufactured with a wrong number. They redid it twice and in both times, the doors were wrong. You could tell that there was a disconnect between manufacturing and sales which slowed down the whole process, which I didn’t like. That was the only downside. It’s annoying that I have the whole payment and not get this over with because of one door. Things like that put a bit of damper on the experience for me.
Nevertheless, the quality of all the work was excellent and the work was done really well. The products used and the service was very good. It’s just that the timeline was behind than I wanted to be. They gave me a scope of four to six weeks but it was more like 10 to 12 weeks. The kitchen cabinets were made from scratch but they were really well done, which is a big deal. A lot of people end up buying kitchens with cabinets that are crappy and they fall apart but these things will never do. It’s really nice. The model work that they ended up picking out was exactly what I wanted. So overall, it has been a very positive experience.

We live within six miles of Four Seasons showroom. I'm a senior citizen now and I drove by there for 30 years since they've been in business. And when we finally decided to go with it, the company had changed hands. And once the company does that, it's never the same. We signed in January of 2012 to have work done and it was not completed until August of 2015 through no fault of our own. There was a bunch of problems. Nobody seemed to coordinate in a way that made us feel like they were on our side in both inner and upper management. It was always a struggle. I even had the supervisor’s cell phone and half the time, he wouldn't answer it. It was a bad experience.
They installed the Greenhouse on the back of our kitchen and its glass roof. But it was changed dramatically from what was originally planned and drawn out. It was problem after problem and we were ready to give it all up. Then my wife suggested we do the simpler things and they agreed. They re-drew everything and it ended up with the same cost. Also, in the township that we're in, permits are a problem. Some of it was not Four Seasons' fault but they misled us by saying that we're not going to need those. There was a lot of miscommunication.
We gave them plenty of rope and they didn't live up to what they would tell us. We went to the factory a couple of times and they told us they’re going to be back to us by next Friday but we wouldn't hear from them for four weeks. There was also a time that we were ready to cancel and they said we could. Then they came back and asked us to try one more time. It was a cat and mouse game and we're not happy with them. But the product was excellent. Its quality was good although very expensive. We were expecting a huge crew to come in and it was one guy and a helper. The carpenter did all the work. He was terrific and a top-shelf. It was a beautiful work. But I would never work with Four Seasons again. The company needs some knowledge in how to treat people and customers without making them feel like they're a burden.
Thanks again.

However, he was let go and someone else was there. They had to turn over. I was worried that I already paid a significant amount of money and I thought that I was not going to get anything back. I contacted Jason and he told me to not worry, that Four Season Sunrooms is a good company and that they would honor the contract and everything. I felt better after that.
But they have a lot of turnovers and I had to call several times and almost threatened them to make sure that the job was done. The first time the guys came out with some glass and everything, the pieces weren't the right size. They had to send them back and get new ones. However, to my surprise, the people who did the construction were contractors. They were not Four Seasons' employees so they work in their own ways. I'm not too enthusiastic about the kind of work they've done. There was a lot of delay in getting the product done. It's supposed to be a two-month project but it took them almost six months. The quality of work is not too impressive. For example, there are some gaps in the panels they mounted side by side like a wall. I can see through outside and dust and insects come in. I told Four Seasons a couple of times but nobody showed up.
Then we have these french doors for the entrance and exit, and the locks are gone. They give lifetime warranty and so I kept calling but the managers never responded. My friend had problems because the franchise of the people who started with him had gone bankrupt but the company told him that they will continue and they took responsibility. The company finished the project for him.
There were some frustrations during the whole project and some parts that I didn’t like that I discovered after. The spa's not 100% straight. I am not an expert but by looking at it, I found it in the beginning that there's a little part of the spa showing and at the end of it was a bigger part showing which was not straight and it gave us hard time to put the ceramic in. Then in the middle of the process, they said we needed a sump pump which should be one of the jobs and they charged me $5,000. After that, I knew that the sump pump was $500 because what happened provoked him and I changed it to $500. The really bad thing was that they told me they’re gonna finish it November and after that, they delay to the next season, so it’s delayed seven months because they cannot work in the winter. I did a Google research and Four Seasons was in the area. They had a high rating so I chose them to replace the windows. The sales rep was very friendly but I wasn’t terribly satisfied with the overall work quality. They cut out the old windows and put in the refabricated, but it changed from one design to another. They cut the edges on the old windows, so you see the unfinished wood and it was flawed.
The windows had problems with the fit too. The locking mechanism wasn't working properly and it took them over a year to remedy the issue. Still, it wasn't quality fix, but they weren't willing to work with me and do a better job. I gave instructions to the two contractors to set the windows back from the interior, so there was space to install some blinds. But the installation was inconsistent on how much depth they left in the windowsill, between the windowsill and the window itself. There's no consistency from one window to the next at all.
Thanks again.

I bought some windows from Four Seasons because of the quality of their products and they turned out to be good. My interactions with their sales rep and contractor were also good. Four Seasons has been reliable, came when they said they were going to come, and did the work. I'll recommend them.
Thanks again!

We built two different sunrooms with Four Seasons. The first one that we built in one house was really well done and lovely, but the second one, a very small sunroom, was a total train wreck. First of all, we got a quote to do the job, then they fired the salesman who gave us the quote, and then they said that he quoted it wrong and doubled the price. We went and pushed on that a little bit and got the price back down to within $300 of the original quote.
Then the installation was like a home invasion. The installers broke windows, then we got flooded because they didn't seal a couple of windows that should have been sealed. Our interaction with the contractors was like dealing with Dumb and Dumber. The sales representative wasn't even around and the operations manager was helpful but stressed because the whole franchise that they were buying from was going through some turmoil and restructuring. They were having and we couldn't get satisfaction from anyone there. This whole thing took about several months when it should have taken a couple of weeks. It was a horrific, awful and terrible experience, so we would never deal with them again.
Thanks again.

I don't like Four Seasons at all. I got a sunroom from them and it was a lot of baloney. If you put this certain window for a certain amount of money it's supposed to be cool in the summer and hot in the winter. But the room was freezing in the winter and hot as hell in the summer. Also the paper film that they had between two panels just wound up crunching up. I ended up having someone come in here and cover it up from the inside except for the curvature part which is the only part that you could see glass from inside.
And when I had them do a repair on it recently they did it wrong. I had the curved windows replaced, three at one time and it wasn't a problem but the last three turned out to be a disaster. It was pouring like the hammers of hell on a Friday. I called them that day and they can't send someone out because they didn't have emergency service. I was literally taking pails of water out of the sunroom and dumping them through the whole night, through the whole weekend. And the whole thing is I was the only one who could do it since my husband is a full-leg amputee. But they were pleasant on the phone. When I finally did get someone, the head of the department he was coming to do it himself. He was going to check every last pane but he sent the same guy that screwed up in the first place to fix it. So I would not recommend them. They are a horrible company to work with.
Thanks again.

I called around for a couple of estimates and Four Seasons seemed like they had a better product. The sales representative was very friendly and he described everything very well. The contractors who installed the windows were very good and the windows are withstanding very much since installation two and a half years ago. I have a 90 pound dog who constantly throws himself at the windows and they're holding very well. It was a good experience overall.
Thanks again!

Four Seasons did the bathroom in my old apartment. Another company did the bedroom and living room and common area. And there was a lot of back and forth because they pointed fingers. For example, debris needed to be removed, they said "Oh no, the contractor is supposed to do it." The contractor said, "Oh no, they're supposed to do it.” It was in our contract with Four Seasons that they were supposed to remove the debris. So, eventually they did. There were also several times that I had to reach out to David of Four Seasons to have people come back to do the job correctly. Part of the wall in the bathroom near the doorway had a huge depression in it. It looked like part of the backer board broke, and instead of fixing it, they just painted over it. They agreed to send someone back but no one showed up.
So, I contacted them again and they said, "Oh, sorry. We'll send somebody else." This time, someone came and worked on the depression. It was not made to be flushed and smoothed with the rest of the wall. You could still see that there was damage there. But at that point, it had been quite a long time of renovation and moving back and forth. And I needed to move in because I've moved out of my old apartment already. So, I gave up. I didn't pursue it anymore. After the first person didn't show up, and the second person obviously didn't care enough to do a good job, I wasn't going to play this game for another month. I was going to move into my apartment and start living there.
Thank you
