    10 minutes before our delivery, the guys called us to tell us that they could not take away our old mattress, due to Coronavirus! I talked to my husband, who said cancel the order! I called the Reynoldsburg, Ohio, store. They knew nothing about this! The guys came to the door. They were very nice. It was not their fault. They told us that they knew the night before!!! So why didn’t a supervisor somewhere call us to tell us this. We were home all day waiting for our delivery! This to us, is poor management! They did take the mattress to the basement for us, as we had no where to put it! We paid almost $200.00 for set up and take away of our mattress!

    We were told later they would come back and take the mattress from our house! Haha, do you really think that will happen? It is so heavy that we cannot take it back up the stairs ourselves, as we are both 65! Had we known this we would have canceled our order! Very poor management! Again, this was NOT the delivery men’s faults. They were very nice. They were thrown under the bus by their supervisors! You need to find out why we were not notified of this change! We have a mattress in our basement now! Who’s going to remove it for us????

    Our Sleep Number 360 iLE Limited Edition Smart Bed. Great Bed but accessing the App/Bed on a Eero Mesh Wireless Router was Saddening. 2.4Ghz on Dual, Tri-Bands should be a no brainer especially with Open Source Codes that can be worked with. Needs to be addressed!

    I bought my bed less than 2 years ago, and paid $7000+. Now half of it will not inflate-- pump runs, but nothing into the mattress. I called to get it fixed, and the warranty basically only applies if I can fix it MYSELF!! If I need someone to do it for me, it costs $105 upfront. What a sham! So I had to pay $105 to schedule someone to come fix my "under warranty" broken bed. You should be ashamed!

    Had an issue with the bed the next day after delivery and made a service request for them to come back. Then they called with a time frame, two weeks down the road on a Saturday night from 5 to 9 pm. Who makes service calls on Saturday nights?. I called back five times to get an appointment changed. Each person who answered would not even attempt to make any changes in the time frame, but they were quick to be very rude. They did offer another date, weeks away after I already have waited two weeks. Anyhow, do your homework, Go w/ Purple unless you want to argue with their customer service reps. They are great at that.

    Purchased your product and for 30 days have experienced complete lack of ownership for delivering a working, functional product. The delivery people left knowing they left a defective broken piece of merchandise and that is where this nightmare began and continues with no desire for the company to make good on their terms nor has the district manager made the effort to work to resolve this matter. The company does not care about the product nor the customer and there are consequences for such tactics.

    If you are considering purchasing a Sleep Number bed, there are a few things you should know. We purchased a new bed 2 1/2 weeks ago and set up a delivery for Friday, March 6, 2020. My husband took the day off work to wait on the delivery that was supposed to be there at 11am. At 11:15 am customer service calls and says that they had a Tech Emergency and would not be able to deliver our bed but we had been rescheduled to March 23 (3 weeks away!!) If that was not ok, call in to reschedule.

    After talking to three different reps who said there was nothing they could do but to reschedule it much later at THEIR schedule. They don't tell you that if they miss the delivery for any reason, the bed is sent back to its origin because they have NO local storage, No extra truck, NO extra staff to make up the missed delivery any time soon and you have to start your delivery ALL OVER AGAIN! I was told that 4 different families did not get their bed that day and had to be re-scheduled. This company has NO BACK UP PLAN AT ALL and you are at their mercy or cancel the order. This would have been the 3rd bed that we purchased from Sleep Number.

    The only reason we were getting a new one was to upgrade to the adjustable base. We HAD our current bed sold but that fell thru since we could not meet the time frame due to the delivery delay of our new bed. So they cost us a day's work, $1,100 for the sale of our old bed and a month's delay at their schedule. We are SERIOUSLY considering cancelling the order. There is no customer service other than to say that they are sorry. A poor way to treat people that are spending $8,000 on a new bed.

    We are very pleased with the sales at the Florida Mall. The only thing I would complain about is the delivery fee. $199.99 is a lot for the amount of time it took them that was ridiculous. We only had the bed/mattress delivered. We already had the bed and the frame put together. They were done and gone in 30 min. I did feel the lady that called me to tell me the delivery team was in front of my house was rude on the phone.

    I explained to her that I was told between 1:00 - 5:00. It was not even 1:00. I was at therapy. I told her I would be there as soon as I can. She said they can only wait 15 min. They would have to leave. I told her again, "Well mam it is not 1:00 yet. I still have time." She said I will have to hurry or I would have to reschedule. I explained I will be there as soon as possible. The guys were nice about it and they explained they only had one more delivery after me that it was fine. I would suggest that the people calling you should be nicer to the client. I am disabled at this time and I could not just rush like she wanted me to.

    I seriously could not be more dissatisfied with the service I have been receiving lately! My C4 air chamber has been losing air and due to the warranty change you want me to pay $110 to get a replacement bladder. I would replace it had it been my fault but this is normal wear and tear. I'm just over three years out from buying the bed! It should be covered longer than that! I would also love to know who trains your customer service because everyone I talked to was extremely rude.

    We needed a replacement remote control so I went online and ordered one. Unfortunately, it was not the right one. I used chat to order another one (a "legacy" remote which did not show up online when I searched the first time), and am now being told that I can't return the incorrect remote or get a refund. NOWHERE does it say final sale -- and there is no reason it should not be returnable. We have always spoken highly of our Sleep Number bed, but this experience will certainly give me pause!     Another mishap with the folks at Sleep Number and this is worse than the one before. Yes, I have had issues in the past and seems like we are doing this again. Simple stated: ordered a replacement top mattress to the tune of $750.00. This was covered in the warranty. Received incorrect item. Never opened the package as I could tell it was incorrect. Contacted local store and they could not help! Called and was told all sales were final and I was to have been informed of this...don't recall that conversation! The issue is that the incorrect item was sent and NOW you won't refund? What the heck is that all about. I won't go into the issue of actually ordering a bed and having it delivered to be told they couldn't remove the old mattress!!! Told the delivery folks to just keep their sleep number. And how is your day?

    I have had a negative experience since the first time I tried to buy the bed. The company was having a huge sale, the website crashed, the phone support closed hours before the sale ended but someone called me the next day to take my order. The bed was then almost sent to the wrong address (I emphasized my home address vs. billing address over half a dozen times during my order and over the phone on follow up calls), was then pushed back almost a month to deliver to the correct address and the bed has not stayed inflated since purchase!

    We have worked with our local store to try to fix it and have made a tech appointment for repair, which we have been charged for and now, 48 hours in advance, find out that it is not scheduled for the time we can be home. And there is nothing we can do. We cannot get off work with such short notice and just wish we had never purchased this bed. This company is a nightmare from which we cannot wake up. Our Sleep Number is hell.

    For as much as we pay for these beds +$250 sheets + $200 mattress pads + $200 delivery/setup one would think the remotes for these beds would be included. When you buy a TV the remote is included. Why not these beds? Some people don't use their cellphones or tablets by their beds at night. Some people still have a landline for that purposes plus in order to use the tablet or cellphone you need to have the app running and most people cannot even see them at night. The remote at least is easily learned. My husband is 65 and almost NEVER uses a cellphone for anything. So...my point is the remotes should be included.

    My bed is amazing. I love it but don't count on ever receiving any inner circle rewards or referral bonus, I ordered my bed on January 3rd and since then I have tried to access my inner circle rewards with no luck. All I get is a loading sign. I have tried different phones, an iPad, a computer and nothing nada. I have Insta chatted with no luck and called again with no luck and then to top it off I referred a friend. I was standing in the store when my friend ordered (because said friend happened to be my father). We even made sure my name was spelled right when we sent the referral and guess what NO BONUS, all I get is, "Sorry we can't help you, call again later, try again later." When is later? 6 months from now?

    This has been the worst customer service experience ever. Yes I know it's just rewards bonus but still when you go out of your way to recommend a product to someone and have them spend their hard money and the company says, "Hey we will thank you by giving you a referral bonus," and then they don't hold up their end, it's very frustrating and I will no longer recommend this bed solely based on its horrible customer service. I hope to never have a problem with my bed because if this is the service I get for a rewards program I hate to see what it will be like when I have a bigger issue.

    I tried talking to salesman, tried talking to customer service, they all kept sidestepping the issue. Then talked to manager. They informed me that if I signed paperwork then I didn't have a case basically. I informed them that the salesman didn't inform that when we purchased bed he said it if we didn't like bed we had 100 days to sleep on it. That's it. Not return partial bed. Our salesman also gave us 2 pillows when we ordered. Because I told him I wouldn't get the bed if we didn't get any pillows thrown in. This whole experience has been very troublesome. I will get on every forum known to tell everyone not to buy the adjustable because that doesn't count with the 100 night. Also tell people the runaround and sidestepping that has been done.

    I found the PSE 360 to be the most uncomfortable bed that I have ever slept on. The bed sagged in the middle and made noises when I adjusted my position. I called the next day after the delivery and was told that the queen bed had issues and that I should consider going up to the King size. After spending $2700, I was disappointed and did not feel like "upgrading." I was told that Sleep Number would send someone out to my home to add extra padding on the top layer of the bed and to add filler in-between the 2 sides to help alleviate some of the issues. My question is, if this was a common issue with the queen size bed why weren't these steps taken when the bed was delivered?

    I called customer service again and told them that I wanted to return the bed. I was told that I could but I would be charged $200 for the delivery, $230 for the mattress cover that you can not return and $200 to pick the bed up. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was placed on hold for 30 minutes to speak to a "supervisor." The woman that I spoke with was rude, unprofessional, eating into the phone, slurping a drink through a straw and was not helpful, which made the entire situation even more infuriating. I told her that I didn't want the bed and that I wanted the bed to be picked up as soon as possible.

    She then told me that they wouldn't pick up the bed if I didn't pay the fees. I think it is ridiculous that they will send someone out at no cost to try to fix an poorly made product but yet they want to charge you ridiculous fees to pick the bed up if you are not happy with it. Overall, one of the worst experiences that I have ever had buying a product. Not only was I beyond disappointed with the bed, the customer service was disappointing. Buyers beware, if you get the bed delivered you better learn to live with it. Otherwise it will cost you over $600 to return it. I was in the bed for less than 15 minutes and wished I would have never bought it.

After going back and forth with customer service, doing everything they asked of us the problem was not resolved. We ask for Sleep Number just to replace the bed due to it being defective, we are going on 5 months since reporting the problem and all we have received was more run around, more waiting and more nights of terrible sleep. They promise the best night sleep ever. Not only we are not having the best sleep ever but now we get to add the aggravation of lack of concern and resolve from their customer service. We expected much better and at this point would not recommend this bed or this company to anyone.

    Salesmanship and delivery team met expectation with their professionalism and knowledge, however, faulty product was delivered. Customer service was unsatisfactory in assisting with alternate delivery date with long hold times, a month long wait for a weekend delivery for replacement product for the faulty bed delivered. Assigned case manager provided a contact number that was unreachable. I have lodged a complaint with the concerned dept at Sleep Number. They provided a $400 coupon to shop for bedding in their store that must be used within 2 weeks, although I have just purchased all the necessary bedding, company was unable to provide a discount on purchases already made. I am now left with a bed that is not usable and will have to take another day off for delivery of (hopefully) a functional product. Definitely overpriced for this experience. Wish I could return the bed.

    My husband and I bought our Sleep Number C2 in April 2018 at the sleep number store in Jonesboro AR. It was delivered soon after ordering it. I called the store in May 2018 because the air hose keeps popping off and deflating the sides. They said, "Oh it's nothing. Try to make sure the connector on the hose is facing the side." I did, well we had to resort to putting duct tape on the bed to hold the hose in. Been like that even after chats and calls to the store they haven't done anything but provide excuse after excuse. I've also had a mold problem and now it's encased in a zipper protector.

    Also, when I bought the c2 I was told they would do a free upgrade to a legacy sleep IQ pump when I bought it in store. That never came either!! And after 4 mo of owning it the c2 I bought was discontinued and the c2 360 replaced it. Same price as I paid for mine. I've never been able to comfortable been able to sleep on this thing either. I told the sales rep that. She's like give it time. I have no resolution at all. I've bought toppers, everything. I am as far as wanting to set this moldy thing on fire because it's not comfortable like it was in stores. I have scoliosis and herniated disc disease and it's made it worse!!! Maybe they should take this moldy bed back and offer me a free upgrade or something dunno but it's not a great experience. It gets 1 star because I love my pillow I bought.

    King i8 360 Smart Bed. I have called customer service and replied to every e-mail questionnaire from Sleep Number. I reported problems from day one after delivery with my handset. After 3 more calls it still does not work properly. I reported problems with the pump, I received no response. I requested a service tech come out and check my pump and handset, to my surprise, the delivery guys are the service techs and they don't carry any spare parts on the truck and I would have to pay full cost for needed parts. THIS IS NOT A SERVICE DEPARTMENT! Bed was purchased 11/15/2019, scheduled for return pick-up 2/5/2020. A terrible mistake on my part, please be aware.

    I needed a new mattress and ignored the fundamental truth for some stupid reason: Everything that holds air will eventually leak. I bought one. Huge mistake. 2 months out of warranty the bag leaked. Yep, wake up every couple hours sleeping on plywood. And if that wasn't bad enough the pump controller would only inflate to the max with no ability to adjust either. Bricks or plywood are cheap, if that's what you like to sleep on then go to a lumber yard. I threw it in the landfill where it belongs. You will too.

    I love my bed however the experience was not good just trying to get it! Your customer service is a very sad thing. My best friend has your bed as well as I have one. Hers is 2 years old and it took her 2 weeks to get a service appointment that you charge for to figure out what is wrong. Now she has to wait another 2 weeks for the part to come in which they are not even sure is the right part and she will have to pay for that service call as well.

    Do you all feel that just because someone can afford to pay your crazy prices for your beds that it ok to charge crazy service call prices too and on top of it make us wait basically a month to be able to use it properly. All the while our backs are in pain? I have only had mine since September and it took 4 weeks just to get it delivered then on top of that they did not get to my home till 7 PM at night to install it! Your company needs to take a long look at service and do a better job or you will surely be out of business before you know it or a competitor will make one similar and put your company to shame in the customer service department.

    Called customer service, 47 minutes on hold (**). Hire supervisors who wash their own sheets and make their own beds. Hire someone in shipping who can make sure the sheets get there before the bed. Called store, my salesman was off, the guy who answered was nice but said he warns his customers to have bedding because it usually is late. I got the sheets the day the bed was delivered but too late to wash and dry. The two delivery guys were awesome! Best part of the WHOLE thing. The one glitch was handled in less than two hours.

    When I first got my bed I was thrilled. Most comfortable bed I've ever had. The bed is only 17 months old and has already failed. I was reluctant to buy a bed from you because of this, and now I am proven right. I have posted the paragraph below publicly on your page. To say how upset I am is an understatement. Your customer service apparently stops at point of sale.

My year and a half old, $6,500 bed (a split king) blew out last night, blowing a hole through the cover and deflated, and I have been advised that the first available tech in the Columbus, OH area (where there are no less than 5 retail stores) is not for TWO WEEKS! I paid more than twice what I paid for my first car and this is the best you can do? TERRIBLE!!!! ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. I guess since you already have my money, customer service isn't very important.

    So far I have been very dissatisfied with the Sleep Number delivery process. We scheduled a delivery date when we purchased the bed and there were several emails and phone calls to confirm the date and time. The day of delivery I was informed that one of the parts was missing and they could not deliver the bed. These things happen but would expect a delivery as soon as the parts came in. Not with the sleep Number delivery system, we ** up now you go to the back of the line, when it is convenient for the people who failed to do their job correctly can fit it in their schedule. Screw the customer. They can wait another 12 days, we can't go out of our way to correct a problem we created. Our sale person informed us when we financed the purchase not be late with a payment because they will charge you like 30% interest. Very nice.

    The bed itself is very comfortable and allows for a great nights sleep. While shopping for the bed, I found it to be comfortable and the Sleep IQ feature was a selling point. I have had sleep studies done to help with years of insomnia. I am on a new sleep medicine that allows for decent sleep and this is why the Sleep IQ was a selling point. At no time in the process of buying did anyone mention that these beds nor the app work with a mesh WiFi system.

    I’ve called on numerous occasions to see if there is a fix for this but all I get is “these beds don’t work with a mesh WiFi system. I have lots of money in this mesh system that works with my security, thermostats etc. Although the WiFi has both 5 MHz and 2.4 MHz (Sleep Numbers work only with 2.4 MHz). It doesn’t work with the mesh. No Sleep IQ for me and no one trying to remedy the issue from Sleep Number. I’ve heard of a few workarounds but none have worked for me. I could have someone come to my house for a $200 fee to look at it but I have a feeling that the money would be wasted and no change in the bed.

    Our bed was to be delivered today between 11 AM - 2 PM. We get a call at 12:20 PM stating the bed will not be delivered until 2/1/20 due to warehouse delivery issues. The new scheduled delivery date is 2/1/20. We received an email the day prior advising how to prep for the delivery. We completed all of the steps to minimize the time the delivery people would need to be here. After arranging my work schedule to be home (cancelled a meeting), I get notification during the delivery time window that they are not coming today. One would think they would know well before the time the mattress is to be delivered. They are trying to see if they can find an earlier window to deliver vs. the 2 weeks plus future date. At this point it may be easier to cancel and purchase a similar bed from the local furniture store (Homemakers).

    Our life with a Sleep Number bed did not start off smoothly... Our base arrived DOA, and we were unable to have a new one delivered for 3 weeks! In addition, the app never worked for my wife and the support team seemed disinterested/unable to help. Upon first call they told her to 'wait a week, maybe it'll start working', then a week later they said it all looked good on their side and there was nothing they could do. Then during the third call a bug was acknowledged in the App and they said that it was being rolled out, but no ETA available for us.

    I'm very disappointed that we did not get to have the full sleeping experience including the mattress and adjustable base. I had heard great things about sleep number, but the mattress itself did not change my life, it was merely so-so, though I acknowledge I didn't get the full 30 days in it that are recommended. Perhaps the mattress + adjustable base would have been a game changed, but we just weren't willing to take that gamble.

    We agonized over what to do, do we allow the base to be delivered and then cross our fingers everything will be ok? What happens if the bed breaks in the future, will we have to wait 3 weeks to get it fixed? Based on the service we had received, we decided to discuss what we saw as reasonable options with the sleep number customer service team and ultimately went with option 2.

    We suggested the following options:

    1) Let us get the working base and use it for for the trial, and allow us to return it all should we decide it is not to our liking. This would have been an exception to the 100 night policy, but I do think if Sleep Number were willing to put your money where your mouth is you would have granted this request. I want desperately to have a great sleep experience and i've heard some good things about the transformative sleep experience with sleep number. So, if you are confident in the fact that getting the new base and having the time to live with it will ensure my happiness, then I would not have cancelled the order. But instead you chose not to do this, which is fine, but it means I'll never know if the bed was as good as you say it is and as good as we've heard. At that point based on the customer support experience and the defective bed I just wasn't willing to risk 1/2 of the expense of the bed (the base) in a gamble to see if I was happy with the bed and if not getting stuck with a base for $3400 that's not compatible with a non sleep number matters.

    Option 2) Allow a 100% return now, including base, because we never received a working base. This option was accepted by customer support. I appreciate that you did not stick to your guns on the final sale policy and allowed us to return the whole thing. The agents I talked to were very pleasant and understanding.

    As it stands, my story about Sleep Number will not end a success story, which is too bad. I was looking forward to being a vocal supporter of the product, assuming it lived up to the hype. Now, I am a disappointed person that will certainly share my experience. One of my original concerns when we talked about buying sleep number was that I've read a number of reviews from unhappy people with the warranty and support. These last few weeks did nothing to change that concern and ultimately that is one of the things that led to our decision to return the bed.

    We purchased a 360 Select Comfort mattress from the store. We paid over $6000. Several months after our purchase we noticed that the bed was losing air pressure. At the same time the remote was not functioning, so we phoned customer service and advised them of both these issues. The gal on the phone told us that they had been experiencing problems with the remotes, and that is why the bed might be deflating. They did send us a remote, free. The issue of air loss continued, so my husband went to the company store where we purchased it, and they told us it sounded like we had a leaky air bladder component.

    We phoned for a repairmen and although the bed was about 17 months old, they wanted to charge us for a service call. We argued over that, and ultimately they dropped the charge. Once the repairmen came, they said that the bladder was leaking. They also advised that we should have the compressor replaced since by using the remote they thought the compressor was no longer working. So the replacement parts were shipped to us, and we had to schedule yet another service call. During this second visit, the Select Comfort employees discovered that the foam surrounding the bladders had separated and the bed sides had collapsed.

    This second service visit cost us $107.00. So now a third visit has to be scheduled. When we attempted to speak to a supervisor at Select Comfort, they pretended that they could not hear us even though we were on a land line, and minutes before they could hear me just fine. Furthermore the warranty on these beds is MUCH MORE limited than what is explained when you are buying in the store. If we could get rid of this bed we would, and we will if after this third visit anything else goes wrong. Every component of this bed has had to be replaced, it is less than 18 months old, and we paid $6000.

    I will go back to a traditional mattress after my two Sleep Number beds can no longer be used. Twice the beds have needed service (once because the company shipped the wrong model). The first time, the appointment was scheduled for one week out. This time, the wait time is nearly three weeks. And the bed is unusable in the meantime.

    The customer service rep kept me on the phone FOR 30 MINUTES this morning trying to diagnose the issue. It should not be up to me to try to fix the problem. I am not a service technician. Appliance repairmen and auto mechanics don't ask the customer to get involved - beyond explaining the problem - when we call them. Also, be sure you understand the warranty before you buy. Beyond the first 100 nights, the bed and parts are covered. The service call is not. It costs $99. The product is decent. The service is horrible.

    We purchased our Sleep N1umber in July 2017, for our anniversary. It is a large purchase, however we wanted to change our sleep and after researching decided on sleep number, and purchased the second to top bed they carried at that time. We also purchased a queen for our son, who is an athlete. We love the beds, and honestly have not slept better. HOWEVER, approximately 9-12 months ago the bed began to deflate on one side. We went online and researched the issue, following the instructions to address the issue. We have done that for awhile.

    Finally, we contacted the sales rep who had us test the pump (which involves sleeping on a very hard bed for several nights) and determined we need a new one. As it has now been past two years, even though the issue was occurring while the bed was under warranty, it will cost $210 for a new pump which is 20% of the cost. First, a pump costs $1000? Second, when I asked how common of an issue this is, the rep said it almost never happens on a bed this new, however they would not consider covering a "rare" issue for their product? In conclusion, I still love the sleep I have with my sleep number, HOWEVER, I will NOT be purchasing the additional 4 sleep number beds for our new house and will be purchasing traditional mattresses. In addition I will report EVERY little issue I have with it as the WARRANTY DECREASES OVER TIME.

    This is my first negative review! I purchased a Sleep Number in Nov for my daughter for our new residence. I postponed the shipping to Saturday, Jan 11 because I was unsure where we were moving to. In Dec a rep called me. I said I couldn't talk about it at the moment and I would call them tomorrow. He proceeded with the details of my order and wanted to deliver the bed sooner. What if this was a Christmas present? He would have ruined the surprise! I am surprising my daughter with where we are moving to, so I couldn't share the new address with the rep because my daughter was with me.

    I called Customer Support today to change my delivery address because I was just cleared to close on my mortgage. I am moving LESS THAN 5 MILES from my original address. They wouldn't let me keep my original Saturday delivery date. I paid thousands of dollars for a bed that I now have to wait longer to get! My poor daughter will have to sleep on the floor! I will also have to take a DAY OFF OF WORK for the new delivery date! I am VERY DISAPPOINTED! This doesn't seem logical to me!!!! I am staying in the same town, why can't I keep my original delivery date? I spent a long time on hold and spoke to 2 customer service reps and they said they couldn't do anything. Conversations I heard in the background of the call center during our call were unprofessional. VERY POOR SERVICE! I hope the bed is worth the $$$$ I paid for it.

    Although I love my new bed and the delivery team was exceptional, I am appalled that the large amount of waste from my mattress was headed straight to the landfill. When I learned this, I insisted that the delivery team leave all the plastic and cardboard for us to recycle responsibly. The heavy duty clear plastic sheeting and cardboard filled the back of our truck. According to the delivery team, Sleep Number does not recycle in Idaho, although the company does recycle in Oregon. The truck was filled with mattresses to be delivered. For every mattress delivered by sleep number, a TRUCK BED full of heavy duty plastic sheeting, plastic cording, and multiple sheets of thick cardboard (all completely recyclable) is being dumped in the landfill! This is unacceptable!! Sleep Number has a responsibility to do better than this.

    Our I8 flex fit Sleep Number bed had the right side deflate to zero overnight and we are not able to re-inflate bed. There is no phone support on Sundays, on chat support. Had 3 different chat sessions because I was asked to trouble shoot bed with instructions that were vague (could not even tell me where pump might be located on the bed). Was told I should have caps attached to the pump housing - but could not find any. Our bed is only 1.4 years old and under full warranty. Especially for the price we pay this is completely unacceptable. First agent was a bit snippy with me and had this agent the 2nd time too. 3rd agent was trying best to help but had no solution. Had to wait 30 minutes (number 10 in line) for the first chat session. Yet an agent is only able to wait five minutes for you to go through a whole series of troubleshooting and then they just end the session. This has been the worst customer support experience ever

    It was be extremely helpful if the Delivery Service would call the Customer to schedule an appointment for delivery, rather than the day of calling and saying the order would be delivered between 4 PM and 9 PM. I requested at the store (10118- MD) when making the delivery appointment to have early morning, because of scheduling problems, the delivery was a NON PRODUCTIVE DAY WASTED for no reason. Even when offered a earlier date, it was declined due to scheduling problems and the original date and early Morning was confirmed by Xogistix Corp. If it wasn't for upgrading an Existing Select Comfort Bed, this one would have stayed on the truck. Very disappointed in the Customer Satisfaction. I still have 98 nights to make up my mind if I keep this bed. As of this moment, I am dissatisfied with the Delivery Service. But, the Delivery Crew, that delivered the bed was outstanding.

    I have had the P5 for 5 years. Our zipper broke. Stopped into Sleep Number today to ask about a replacement topper. Told me to call customer service and it would be a cheap fix. I called, talked to someone named Priscilla and she asked me some questions. Determined that the outer foam also needed to be replaced and then quoted me 634.00. No, I'm NOT paying that to replace a zipper and foam. She told me that before the prorated discount it was 2,400. I can buy a new bed for that! Stay far away from this bed and company. They have shoddy products and don't stand behind then. No way should this repair cost this much. Will not buy from them again. Overpriced junk.

    We received our bed 9/19/19. On 10/10/19 we had our first call to SN store, no one answered, left message (bed head and feet would not lower). We tried a few times then Issue resolved itself after awhile. The next month we'd notice the underbed light would be on throughout the day. We check the app to see what information was on our "sleeping habits" were. At first it was ok then it started showing us that throughout the day we were asleep in the bed. NO we were not. We noticed that we were both sinking towards the middle of the bed, no matter how I tried to stay close to the edge I was drawn to the center. Bed started making a clicking noise when lowering the head of the bed. Decided to call customer service 11/29. She reset it so the underbed light would not come on (still does), sinking in the middle sent under pad and foam sensor wall to be replaced.

    Now the clicking noise from the base is a different dept so she will connect me to them. Oops that department is closed today. They will call me Monday. Leggett and Platt called (Sleep Number's base making co.) She is ordering 2 parts, a motor and something else, she will call to set up appt. Later I get a call, there isn't anyone in our area to replace it but she found someone to do it but they can't accept the parts. Can we ship them to you? Hearing nothing I called L & P to see what is going on. They haven't found anyone. I call SN customer service, was told she would put me on a brief hold and she would call Leggett n Platt to find out what is going on. I said, "They are going to tell you the same thing as they told me.."

    Well 11 minutes later she got back to me w/ no info. I asked, "What did they tell you?" She answered that their phone lines were down. I asked, "It took you 11 minutes to find that out?" She said, "I am putting you on a brief hold," I said, "No answer my question". No answer, just put on hold. I waited and waited, every once in a while the music would stop and I hear silence, thinking she was coming back. NO. Finally when the silence came again, I said I am still here (that went on for 2 or 3 times. Silence came again, I said, "Yes still here waiting for you to answer my question!" I heard a click that time, she hung up on me. (OMG what a horrible experience.)

    I called SN again, I asked to talk with escalating manager. I was hopeful at first but 3 days later, I'm still waiting. While we are waiting, at night we have the bed programmed to adjust after we're asleep then when it adjust click, click, click, etc. We are awaken because of the clicking. Oh I forgot to mention when we purchased our bed the salesman told us about the total protection mattress pad, if the mattress cover gets stained it would be replaced. Well I started wondering why would my back be on fire when our mattress has a cooling top. Called SN customer service. It's the $200+ mattress pad. He told me to take the mattress pad off, I said then the mattress cover wouldn't be protected, he said but you bought the bed and pad at the same time so it would be covered. HMMM, not trusting that!

    While we have been pleased with our purchase from August 2009, I was extremely displeased with the "warranty" and "replacement parts" aspect of our purchased. For the costs of items under the warranty and replacement parts, I could go out and purchase a new bed! We need a new foam piece, which we were quoted over $263 for foam, which the salesman in the store recently claimed that's "the most important part of the bed". Customer service will contend the most important part of the bed is the mattress topper! Our zips off and that's all I need and they quoted me $811! $811! $811! For a mattress topper!

    They then say it's not covered under warranty because we didn't purchase the "mattress pad" but I guarantee we were not solicited to buy a mattress pad back then and if we were and told that it would cover any warranty on the mattress topper, we would have, just like we did with our new bed we just purchased. Starting to second guess this secnd purchase and just might have to send it back! Here's a thought, even if I spend the money on the mattress pad, please help me understand how Sleep Number is going to confirm that I actually used it???? Very dissatisfied with this "warranty"!

    Our new bed was to be delivered 12/14. After waiting hours to receive a call with an estimated window for delivery time, I phoned customer service and I was advised I would receive a call shortly from the delivery team as they were en route. In the end we never received a call and our extremely expensive bed was never delivered. This morning I try to contact customer service about this issue but no luck as customer service is closed today. I was able to online chat but the person was unable to assist me in any way except give me the phone number already have to try and resolve this issue of non delivery. I now must take time away from my work day tomorrow and try to resolve this issue. I am very disappointed and I am beginning to regret purchasing from Sleep Number.

    We owned this very expensive mattress for 1 1/2 years. It is now completely deflated. It’s like a hammock. I’m sleeping on the couch. When I called customer service she told me I’d have to pay for service assistance and it would take one week. Or I could somehow fix it myself. That’s a joke. We are in our 70’s. Need I say more. It was great until it broke and then they don’t help. Just buy a regular mattress, who ever heard of a mattress that needs a service call!

    We bought a Sleep Number bedding set. For the first couple of years, we thought it was the greatest bed on earth. But soon, it lost its "oomph." The bed wouldn't pump up or down and became very uncomfortable. We called the store and spoke to a manager. The bed was still under warranty. They refused to honor the warranty, and accused us of damaging the bed. We did no such thing. We tried to resolve the issue, but got nowhere, so we gave up. Never again will we go to that store.

    We have had this bed since May 2015. Rarely change settings. My husband was having back issues so we tried to change settings. Big mistake. Deflated and would not go back up. Did everything remote said to do. My husband brought in the air compressor and blew it back up. I was on vacation this week so I called about it. Did what employee said and now my side of the bed is flat again. Five years and the pump that sits under the bed and rarely used just decides to quit and I have to pay $128.00 to get a new one. This is really upsetting. I am just glad that we have something to blow this thing up with again or what would I be sleeping on tonight or any night.

    After one week this has not been a comfortable mattress. We started with the “recommended” settings and have gone up and down each night from there with no improvement. I would call today to have it shipped back, but the convenient mattress removal also leaves us without another option to sleep on. Not sure what to do at this point.

    Please be warned. Although Sleep Number allows you a 90 day trial period for your bed with a "full refund," this is alarmingly not the case. I was charged $3,620 for my sleep number bed through a credit card I opened with Synchrony bank. I kept the mattress for 30 days, as required, and returned it per the 90 day window. The bed got uncomfortably hot and neither my wife nor I could get a comfortable nights sleep. Despite returning the mattress, we were left with a $530 charge on our synchrony bank card for "delivery" and "return" fees. Imagine returning a product that you are not happy with and being left with a $520 bill, which is 15% of the purchase price. I feel like I am being robbed. Please be warned that if you buy a sleep number mattress you will be charged up to 15% of the purchase price if you do not like it. This is a terrible way to do business and everyone should make sure to read the fine print before purchasing this product.

    I bought the ILE mattress over the Labor Day sale. This mattress is absolute garbage! I tried Sleep Number settings from 35 to 70 and could NOT find anything comfortable where I could sleep on my side. This is nothing but an overpriced air mattress. BEWARE...they will charge you $200 to return a mattress after their "free" in-home trial period! This is on top of a $200 delivery fee! Absolute garbage customer service! And read the fine print about their "25 year" warranty, too. It's a 2 year warranty that's then prorated after that. NO ONE said a WORD about that until the mattress was delivered. NO ONE said anything about a $200 return fee either. I will be leaving 1-star reviews on EVERY website I can find to let people know NOT to buy their products. And ANYONE who asks how my experience with sleep number was will be getting a stern warning before purchasing! STEER CLEAR!

    Upon purchase I advised the salesperson we had an adjustable mattress inside a frame and showed a picture. We were aware that part of the sales pitch was removal of the existing mattress and no mention was made of any policy of not removing an adjustable unit. On the initial delivery day the installers said they could not remove the existing adjustable mattress per company policy. They advised they could come back if we had the mattress removed. We contracted for removal and contacted the store to reinstate the delivery. We had not been advised that your policy was not to remove an existing adjustable unit. We would have easily done so if advised.

    The manager of the store, Ben **, was courteous and as helpful as he could be but was restrained by corporate and delivery policy. It would have been a small inconvenience to have the installers return as the said they would. It was only early afternoon, our mattress was still on the truck and they had advised that they work until all deliveries are complete. We pleaded with Ben to call corporate and delivery because we now had nothing to sleep on. He followed through with the calls but apparently got no backing from corporate and delivery and we had to sleep on the floor for a couple of nights while waiting for delivery of the mattress. Customer consideration was horrible. This was a $10,000 purchase and no accommodation was made for the customer so as to not inconvenience the company, company policy and delivery. I was going to write the company but I will wait to see if this gets to you and if there is any response.

    Bought P6 with adjustable base FlexFit 2 ON 10/20/2019, delivered on 10/25/2019 and since then I had the worst sleep experience. The mattress just an air mattress with one top foam layer and the adjustable base is very noisy. I realized that this frame cost only between $200-300 outside Sleep Number and they have charged me almost $3000. And above that they will not return the base because it was final sale although they said you have 100 days to try and get the full refund. Please don't get fooled by this people. It is definitely a rip off.

    So...my husband dragged me to the Sleep Number store at our local mall as we were walking by. “Get a pillow,” he said. Within minutes, a vibrant salesman had sold us not just the pillow, but a mattress as well! We’d been planning to buy one and was sold on the features.
