    Very good quality and ability to improve sleep experience and decrease back pain. Sales people knowledgeable. However very expensive product. So if you have an extra $6,000 - $7000 then go for it! Worth the dollars.

    Sleep Number is a high priced, poorly executed air mattress. The electronic package is a clunky, badly designed system where, if one component is not exactly set up, nothing else works. Even if you plug the many separate wires together in the wrong order, it fails to work. Customer service is alright if you are fluent in Hindu, otherwise, be prepared to ask them to repeat what they said...a lot. The triangular remote control is hard to hold if you have hand/grip problems and the icons are not intuitive. I had a problem with the compressor. They sent one right out. I was told to go to a website to get a shipping label to return the old one. The website has been dysfunctional... since March 2020. The box is still on my bar countertop.

    There are magnets on the bottom of the mattresses to hold them in place. They are so strong, we ripped the fabric of the mattress getting them apart. I put several layers of packing tape over them to weaken their grip. I still contend the Space Station feels the effect of the magnetic force they exert. The sheets, which are only available through Sleep Number, are about as expensive as a new transmission for your car. Changing them is a two person act. I lift the mattress from the center of the bed while my wife puts them in from the bedside. I can't imagine what we will do as I get older and less capable of the heavy labor.

    Sleep Number touts a money-back return policy. Read the fine print. You cannot return the great majority of the hardware, just the mattress. Leaving you stuck with a very expensive bed frame that fits no other bed. And their "intuitive" sleep system is dependant on your having WiFi in your home. To us olders who decided to unencumber our lives with tech that often fails to work, that was an expense best avoided. They are not very forthcoming at SN about these "minor" details. If you looking, buy yourself another brand of air mattress, and take a European vacation on the savings.

    Love our queen size SN bed... Great sleep! Prompt service w speedy installation. Pleasant and friendly on phone. Shopped around hard kept coming back to SN because we already owned one we loved.     Sleep Number 360. Customer service for me was very good. It is the product, which I have returned, that was a major disappointment. Mattress is really hi-tech air mattress. Requires 2.4 ghz wifi and Bluetooth. My main router (Google Mesh), which would have been very difficult to move, varies between 2.4 and 5 ghz but objects closest receive 5ghz. Mattress would not connect so had to purchase monthly 2.4 ghz hotspot to connect. Mattress, even at 100 was not that firm to me and I don't know of any air mattress you can make very firm. Bed basically designed for couples that have different firmness requirements. My Apple watch showed different results than Sleep Number app also.

    I set the firmness setting at 100 - (the highest Number) for best results for me. I like the Flex bed features for reading or watching TV. The Remote Control is easy to understand and operate. The remote light switch is convenient.

    I love the feet warming feature, the adjustable feature and that it will correct itself to help me sleep better. I can even elevate my husband's side to avoid him snoring and can set timers to do things like sit up to watch tv and it will recline when the time is up or turn off the foot warmer, etc. If my husband and I ever divorce (after 40 years together), it will be an ugly fight over the bed.

    We love your products. We bought a "used" Sleep Number bed about 8 years ago, and decided we wanted to buy a new one. They have changed a bit, fewer exposed parts. This one was much easier to "set up". We appreciated that. It will take a little while to get used to it of course, but we have no doubt it will just comfortable as the first one.

    Excellent sleep for my injured back. I could lie on any side and feel good. No pressure sores or marks on my body. This really helps my back to be able to get some sleep. I control firmness and that alone is why this is the best mattress for me to own. I can’t see myself on any other mattress now. The warranty is 15 years. I would definitely buy another one in the future.

    My husband & I were so excited to purchase a Sleep Number Bed. We went to our local store and had the best experience and our sales person was beyond wonderful. We spent $9600. We were told to contact customer service to receive our $200 credit for delivery. My husband called the number and spoke with a young girl that said we don't qualify and hung up.

    Extremely unhappy, I called the local store.and the person in charge told me that was ridiculous and to call customer service back and ask for a manager for the refund. I did just that, called....waited another 30 some minutes to get through and was treated like absolute crap by the 'so called' manager. She told me that we didn't qualify and to look at the website. I explained that 3 people at the local store told me to call and she crassly told me no, there was no special and to quit yelling. I told her I wasn't yelling, I had spent 3 hours off of work trying to sort this out and she hung up on me. I will be calling my local store to cancel my $9600 order. Best of luck to all the customers out there.

    This bed is amazing. It’s the perfect firmness every time. You just adjust the settings and your set. Warranty is the greatest also. Set up was done by company but I had to move the bed after and it was easy to take apart and then move and put back together.

    We have had our bed for 10 years. The foam mattress topper has failed and broken down. There are two big dips in the bed and it's very uncomfortable. Called Cust. Srv. July 2 and was told they were sending out the King sized foam topper to us at no cost to us (which surprised me) and it would take 7-10 days. July 13 still no topper. Called Cust. Srv. again. After 35 min. on hold, I was told the person never placed the order and they would ship it right out. July 21 we received wrong part - were sent a small foam center channel. Called again Cust. Srv. again. On hold on and off for over 50 minutes only to be told both previous Cust. Srv. people were wrong - that the foam topper was going to cost us $233 based on our warranty plus $18.95 shipping and handling!!!

    When I asked to speak with a Manager, I was on hold for 20 minutes before I had to leave a message for someone to call me back. The message states, "You will be called back within 4 hours." I have yet to get a phone call back! We were looking at purchasing an upgraded bed from Sleep Number. That will NOT be happening now. If they can't take care of me as an existing customer already. This is not an inexpensive product and I expect better. Very inept, poor service.

    Product good, but the pricing is deceiving. Everything is extra. Pads, covers, finish product, etc. Foam padding could be more firm, it does not hold up, as it should. And it could be a little more firm. Must say it is built very well and strong.

    I would not recommend this company to buy their product. I have waited two months and they are not able to get my order correct. First delivery the base was not complete so would not work. Base and mattress returned. Waited another month for second delivery. This delivery truck only had the base and not the mattress. Customer Service says I need to wait another two weeks before delivery. That is exactly 2 months from date of purchase. I recommend you shop with another company. They are so departmentalized, that each department says call or chat via email to someone else who might help you. Two months is not good customer service. Fr. Bill

    Sleep Number does make a good quality mattress. For about 5 years my wife & I really enjoyed this mattress - we still have it, now going on 10+ years. Unfortunately, about 5 years ago I had a botched back surgery and since then I've tried just about everything with this mattress to find a "comfortable" spot without success. As a "dual" bladder queen size air bed, it has really been comfortable for my wife (and for me until the fateful surgery), and being able to adjust the firmness of both sides is fantastic. My wife is set for "extremely soft" and my side is very firm - on a scale of 1 to 100, (wife side is 40, my side 92). Wish I could find a comfy spot on the bed, but it looks as if this mattress/bed will soon be stuffed in the "guest room" and we will "hopefully" be able to find a bed that is comfortable for both of us.

    Best mattress ever! No more pain in the morning. We awake refreshed! We each got the firmness we wanted. The store was beautiful, they had all of the mattresses available to experience, the staff was friendly, informed, patient, provided us with all the info we needed. Two guys delivered and set up the whole bed, explained everything, demonstrated and tested all the features. We love the SleepIQ app - helps us make changes to get better sleep. We're telling everyone about our new bed and are finding that many already have them Sleep Number beds and love them! We got the PSE in a full split King, but may switch to the I8 during our 100-night trial. It's more plush. Also got the moving base and LOVE it!

    I have had my queen mattress for about two years. I can raise the head or foot and depending on how I feel, I can adjust this or lay flat. I financed this through Wells Fargo and paid it off without interest. I bought this from The Bed Store and they gave me one pillow and I bought another plus sheets. I would recommend this mattress to anyone that likes comfort and a good nice sleep.

    We purchased a C class bed, 2 extra long twins to make into king size. 2 twin frames are not designed to be in the same room, as the remotes bind and start operating the other bed. Did the salesperson tell us this. NO. We spent over 4,000 and still paying for a bed that does not work properly. Even the Sleep Number adjustment no longer works. Don't waste your money, but rather purchase a good quality mattress for less than 1/2.

    UPDATE: July 18, 2020 my husband and I broke down the P5 bed and put our old bed back up. The P5 hurt our back in the lumbar and hip area we could not walk. We had no choice. July 20, 2020 my husband was so upset and decided to give it try and see if Sleep Number would let us return the mattress, we already knew the answer, but it never hurts to ask. Sleep Number allowed us to return the mattress only for a full refund, also they did send the mattress retainer bars for the adjustable base so we can use the base with another mattress. They decided to let us return the mattress, because of the pain we were having and because we already took it down. They are also sending a delivery team to pick up the P5 on July 30, 2020. We were very surprised and are very pleased with this solution.

    We also compared our old mattress with the new mattress, and came up with this assessment, even though they got rid of the pillow top and made the bed itself out of all modern memory foam, which we think is not part of problem, but the placement of where they hook up the new air chambers are. On the old style the air chambers are hooked to the pump at the head area, on the new style the air chambers are hooked to the pump in the middle back area, because of this the pressure with no give is in the middle of back instead at the head. This could be the reason why our lumbar and hip area hurt so much and why we always felt like we we sleeping on a lump.

    In 1998 we bought a California king, had that bed for 9 years. In 2007 we bought a new king bed frame and bought a new king mattress, we had that bed for 15 years, the two beds we bought from Sleep Number they were made with regular foam not this memory foam today and incased with a pillow top. We loved both beds, we always had a good night sleep and our backs never hurt.

    This year we decided to buy a new bed with ours being 15 years old and because we loved our other two beds we decicded to buy another Sleep number bed. May 05, 2020 we went to their store and decided to buy the P6 split king with the adjustable base for 7,000 dollars. (Remember Sleep number considers the mattress and base as a bed.) They delivered on May 15, 2020. After trying for only 3 nights our backs hurt so bad, we could not even walk for about the first 10 minutes of getting up, because of this my husband slept in his recliner. Also my husband kept falling in between the two mattress. One night he got his arm caught between the two mattresses and it took him 20 minutes to get his arm out. The next day I broke the P6 split king mattress down and stored it in the spare room and put back our 15 year old mattress back on top of the adjustable base so we could sleep.

    I called the Sleep number customer service. They allowed us to either return or exchange. We decided to exchange for a different mattress. We wanted to give them another chance. On May 30, 2020 went back to the store, after an hour of trying out all the beds we decided to exchange the P6 split king for the P5 Flex fit, (I wanted a mattress that would work with the base because I liked the fact that I can adjust the bed for reading and watching tv), for us to get the P5 we had to pay them another 124.00 dollars even though the P5 was a lower style mattress than the P6, the reason according to customer service was we got the P6 on one of their promotions we had to pay the difference, the store manager did allow us bring back the sheets and mattress protector for the P6 split king and refunded us 125.00, which we are still waiting for.

    They delivered the P5 with a new adjustable base and took the old adjustable base and P6 split king away on June 06, 2020. This bed is also so uncomfortable our backs also hurt just as bad, we wanted to return and just get our money back, but because we already exchanged they will not allow us to return the P5 Flex fit mattress. On June 20, 2020 we back to the store and bought a mattress topper for 300.00, because it would be 10 days for delivery we went to Bed Bath & Beyond and bought a mattress topper for 225.00. This helped a little but was not the magic bullet.

    June 25, 2020 their mattress topper came, it had such a bad smell I had to let it air for a week. I tried using their topper alone, then I put their topper with the one from Bed Bath & Beyond together still no improvement. On July 12, 2020 we returned the mattress topper to Sleep number then went to JC Penney, bought a egg crate and a padded mattress pad, I put the egg crate inside the Bed Bath & Beyond topper and put the padded mattress pad over the topper, more for protection of topper than anything. We are still are not happy, our backs still hurt and still not sleeping like we did.

    When Sleep Number changed their design they ruined a comfortable bed. Now we called it the torture bed, my husband is sleeping in his recliner, he gets a better night sleep, I just suck it up, too much money spent. My chiropractor loves it, because I see him more often. So now we are out of 7,500.00 dollars along with the worse night sleep ever. We are just stuck with this nightmare of a mattress, we cannot afford to get another mattress.

    Conclusion: BEWARE. Save your money and your sanity, this bed is not worth it. But if you like being tortured while you sleep then this bed is for you. If you do want to try the mattress do not get the adjustable base with it, according to Sleep number that is a permanent purchase, no refunds. Try the mattress first, if you like the mattress after the trial period then purchase the adjustable base, if you do not like the mattress, and you decide to return the mattress then you are not out 3,000.00 extra dollars for the adjustable base. Also beware if you buy during promotions and exchange the mattress. You might have to pay more to get mattress you would rather have. If you do decide to buy I wish you the best of luck.     Salesman from Washington, Gary **. My husband called to inquire about a sale for a Sleep Number bed to replace our old one. Salesman did NOT tell us he was submitting info for a sleep number credit card and was very pushy. Then after we decided to not purchase a bed, he was very rude, we were flooded with spam emails, calls and texts from various places. He emailed us a rude email, I again declined doing business with him. He then called and tried to push us into purchasing which he got told, "Absolutely not" after being so rude. Then I get a letter in mail saying a credit line increase was requested for the card we never activated. I called the credit card company and was transferred 8 times before someone would close the account. Absolutely a horrible experience. Will NEVER purchase from sleep number again.

    The bed base was not what we thought we order. We were never told the base was a final purchase. We wanted the base that raised both the head and feet and I did not recall discussing the base when we were in the store. The salesman completed the paperwork and we returned the next day to pay for the bed. We have paid over $4,300.00 and do not love the bed. Customer care advised to make exchange would be an additional $1,800.00+ so I guess we will have to live with a product we are not happy with. I will definitely let everyone I know never to buy a Sleep Number bed and explain why.

    I paid over $2000.00 for this bed in Sept. 2019 and in March 2020 started having issues with base. End up calling 3 time now. Base will not be fixed until July 16th which is collapsing. I called today about doing air chamber test and it failed so this will not be fixed until July 29th and I now have to pay a $100 for the tech to come fix a bed that is not even a year old and had issue before it was 6 months old. So upset by this company, it is not right at all and probably will never buy another after. This is my second one that I have bought.

    I purchased my bed on June 19th and was promised a prompt delivery date of June 26th which was confirmed through email. On June 26th, a few hours before delivery I receive a voicemail stating one their tech was having personal issues and that I wouldn't receive my mattress until July 22nd. On June 27th, I went back to the store where I purchased the mattress and spoke to David ** (store manager-12 Oak Mall) and stated my concerns and asked him to see if he could get my delivery date changed. I received no follow up from David by phone/text/email. On July 1st, 2nd 3rd, and 6th I tried calling the customer service number but was on hold for over 20 minutes each time and never got to talk to anyone. On July 8th, I used the online chat with Shenika which the only thing I got out of that was the phone number to the Delivery service which she told me that I had to keep calling them for cancellations.

    The issue that I have is that I have been really inconvenienced and now that the sale is complete I can't get any help/support. Calling me right before the delivery time and pushing the date out an entire month is unacceptable. This bed could be the best bed ever but most likely I will return it because of the poor customer experience. If you can't deliver the bed promptly then maybe you should throw in a couple king size pillows & remote, refund the delivery fee or refund 10% of my total purchase, but something has to happen. I paid for the product in full, I expect to have the product on the date you promised and not have to wait because of some personal issues this company is having with their techs. This is totally unacceptable!!! I expect for a retention manager to reach out to me promptly so we can this issue.

    Nine times out of ten, sleeping on the bed feels like my back and sides are sleeping on a lump. I contacted the Service Support and the young man tried talking me through all sorts of tests using the different Sleep Numbers and backing them down a number of times. Final resolution was to replace a part of the bed due to Compression, and it would be pro-rated at over 600 dollars. As I am used to beds lasting a bit longer than a couple years, I would rather spend a few more bucks and get something that feels better than a overpriced air mattress. I have also found that I am not alone in this. If ever there is a Class Action Lawsuit against this company, I definitely want my name in on it. Oh, If you have a bad back, as I do, they lied about it being good on my back, it is horrible to the point my wife will not even sleep on it. Biggest waste of money, yet.

    After my total purchase price was approximately $7500 which equates to about a $275 dollar payment a month with their zero interest financing program. I’ve never wanted to return something so bad as this bed. I purchased it with the intention of helping my fiancé’s back as he has a physically demanding job. Instead, now I’m feeling pain in my wallet and my entire back on this very regrettable purchase, as it's non returnable at this point. Imagine fighting your body weight on an angle all night long in efforts to prevent yourself from rolling into the center of the bed. Sleep Number calls it the “sloping effect”. I’ve had my sleep number for approximately one year. This issue started about two - three months ago but now it’s increase to the point I can’t even sleep in the bed.

    I’m having sleep number come and fix the issue but they have my appointment scheduled for two weeks out. So If you're looking to spend roughly a car payment on a bed, not sleep comfortably and argue with your partner about not sleeping together because of the bed... this is the product for you. The technology concept of the bed is interesting. That’s why I gave it a two star rating instead of a one. However, it’s very inaccurate. If you have pets who like to get on the bed, it will track them thinking it’s you in bed so your sleep IQ is now invalid and inaccurate. Don’t get caught up in the luxury commercials thinking the most expensive is always the best. In all reality you're paying for a pool float wrapped in foam on a movable frame. I know it sounds harsh but that’s exactly what it feels like.

    I ordered a bed on 5/13/20 for my mother who has cancer and is living with my cousin because of it. I was given a 3 week delivery and denied the option to pick it up. (She needs it yesterday.) On the delivery date of 6/8/20, in the given time window I received a call stating they didn't have all of the parts and the delivery was pushed back 11 days to today, 6/19/20. This morning I received a call from the delivery guy stating they had problems and they were going to be late but they would definitely be there today. Received another phone call stating they were on their way and would be there within the hour. Third phone call telling me they had a flat tire and would be later. Fourth phone call and now they aren't coming. AGAIN.

    Customer service guy, who was very polite, calls and says they have to reschedule and the new date is 7/13. He acknowledges that this is unacceptable and is waiting for an email form "Routing" to see what they can do. Hopefully with 3 to 5 days. THIS IS ALSO UNACCEPTABLE. I'm not convince that there is even a flat tire at this point based on my experience so far and the phone call this morning. Seems convenient.

    Basic customer service, not even good but basic service would dictate that you put the bed on a truck and deliver it TOMORROW. We will be 5 weeks out from the order date on bed you refuse to let me pick up. To make this easy either deliver the bed tomorrow or let me know when I can expect to see a refund on the Credit Card. This level of service is unbelievable. If I wasn't living it I would struggle to believe it was true.

    The bed is totally overrated and definitely overpriced. It is no more comfortable than a standard tempurpedic mattress. We have a split king and need to use twin XL bed sheets. Most of the fitted sheets will not stay on the mattress when you elevate the head of your bed. We were also sold the wrong bed skirt and had to go through 3 different people before getting instructions on how to return it to get the correct one. I would save your money and purchase a tempurpedic mattress with an adjustable base.

    I think you need to retrain your salespeople. Although I love our bed that we have owned for just over 3 years, we have had several things broken. Our salesperson closed the deal when he said "your bed has a 25 year warranty!" When in actuality, the bed only has full warranty for 2 years. As of year 3, I've now had to pay a partial cost to replace BOTH the remote and the Air Chamber at a not-so-small cost. That really angered me!!! Do better Sleep Number.

    After extensive research we decided to get a Sleep Number. We purchased at a local store and had good customer service. I was told it will cost us $200 to deliver which was not a problem. I then asked questions about returns if we were not satisfied. They said the same $200 will be charged to pick it up. Well unfortunately we were disappointed with the mattress and I called to return after our 30 day trial. They charged me $400, saying it was a return charge and pick up charge. This was not told and everything I have found on the sleep number website does not explain this.

    Beware this company policy is misleading to the consumer and bad business. See attached policy..Unauthorized returns will be destroyed with no refund or credit given. You are responsible for the return shipping/delivery fees associated with returning or exchanging any product to us. Return delivery fees are $199-$249 plus tax or $29.99 per UPS label for items that qualify for UPS shipping.

    We purchased our bed on May 6 and were charged for it that day. We scheduled the installation for the morning on June 12 (4 weeks later), but today we're informed they needed to move our installation to the evening, 4-7pm. If we reschedule, their next availability isn't until July 28 - 12 weeks after we purchased the bed! We were escalated to a "manager" who could only repeat what we were told by the first person, so clearly escalating something with them is entirely meaningless. We love our SN bed, but every single part of the process has been extremely painful and wrought with awful customer service - including the first purchase of the bed, subsequent sheets & pillow purchases, and now this purchase of the bed frame. Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

    The bed was delivered on Wednesday evening around 6 pm. The delivery/setup team seemed to have problems getting it to work properly, but after a while told me it was working. They assisted in connecting the bed to my WiFi, gave an overview of both the remote and smart phone app, demonstrated the adjustable base functions. They suggested I wait about an hour to give the mattress time to air out, then lie on the bed and adjust the air pressure (increase air pressure to 100, decrease air pressure to 20, and finally set air pressure to my preference.)

    After a few hours I tried to follow the step given on adjusting the air pressure. I was unable to get the air pressure to increase on either side of the bed using both the remote and app. I could decrease air pressure. Since it was after phone support hours I started a chat session with Sleep Number. The person told me to make sure the air hoses did not have any kinks. There were no kinks. She did not have any other suggestions and recommended I call back the next morning during phone support hours.

    Thursday morning I called and the person suggested I temporarily disable the Responsive Air technology setting to see if that helped and I could enable that setting later. Disabling Responsive Air technology did not help, so I called back. The second person I spoke to had me reset the bed and disconnect/reconnect the air hoses. We performed this twice, but still could not get the air pressure to increase. Since that did not resolve the problem, was told they would need to send someone to my house to fix the problem. The first available time was 11 days later. I asked about having someone come out sooner. She said she did not think so, but would check and let me know and get back in touch with me.

    Friday around noon, I still had not hear back about the appointment. I made the third call to see if I could get an appointment sooner. Was told no earlier appointment times were available. I suggested Sleep Number send me a new pump in the meantime. Without knowing what the real problem, there was some hesitation to that request. After expressing my frustration was told they would overnight a pump to me.

    Saturday evening around 7 pm I had not received the air pump. I started a chat session to check on the status. Was told “…it is in the ready to ship status. Which means it should be leaving out tonight. I am not sure what time the order was made but it was pulled today.” Monday around 2:30 pm tried checking status of pump delivery. When I tried to create a chat session, I was #54 in the queue. Left that open and tried to call. Got a message that all circuits were busy and I should try to call later; unable to wait in phone queue. Waited over 1 hour to reach someone through the chat session. Once I did reach someone was told “I would call order management to confirm this, as they have further detail.” I tried to call again. Got the same message that all circuits were busy and I should try to call later; still unable to wait in phone queue.

    We ordered a bed on 5/2/2020. Was told the bed would take 1-2 weeks to arrive. Bed was scheduled for 5/22. I tried to request the bed to be delivered sooner. Bed was unable to be delivered sooner. On 5/22 delivery called to confirm that the bed would be doorstep delivered only and would not include setup. I confirmed I was aware. I asked what time they would arrive and they said they would call back. Customer Service called back on 5/22 to reschedule delivery to 6-10. I said that was unacceptable and that I needed the bed today (5/22). Customer Service said the mattresses hadn't arrived and that they were unable to deliver. This bed was purchased for our elderly parents who were moving in with us. I decided to keep the order for 6/10. Parents arrived on 5/27 and they are sleeping on uncomfortable twin beds waiting for the new Sleep Number bed to arrive.

    On 06/01 Sleep Number again rescheduled the order to 06/18. When I called to guarantee this order would arrive, they said they were unable to guarantee that the bed would arrive on 06/18. This morning my husband requested to cancel the order and for a refund to be made. He was offered a refund on shipping, however the money is not the issue. We NEED the bed. As of yet I have not been able to see the order is cancelled and the credit card refunded. I was told that COVID is causing this to be delayed. I do not agree. Your company should not sell a product, take my funds, offer door step delivery, and string me along with delays. Blaming it on COVID is not acceptable. Seriously, if you are unable to do business, don't say you can.

    I went into the Merrillville Indiana store and purchased a bed, frame and bed cover. 4 days later, they did an unauthorized charge on my credit card for a second bed cover. A thief employee at the store charged my card before I even got it. Then, being as incompetent as they are, they put the wrong address for the shipping. It took me, contacting UPS to fix the problem my self. Then when I was waiting for my bed to come in, they never showed up. I had to remove my bed, which was taken by the trash department as they happened to do trash pick up on the same day as the delivery.

    My delivery time was between 1pm and 4 pm. I contacted Sleep Number at 3:00 pm since they were not there. I was told "they're coming". At 4:30 pm I call back again, and they tell me that my order was canceled by one of their incompetent customer service representatives and the next delivery date would be June 11. So now I have no bed from May 28 to June 11. I also had to contact the credit card and start a fraud investigation since the thieves they hire, charged my card 4 days after my order. Now my entire order is cancel and I am left without a bed. Way to do business and take care of customers Sleep Number... You should be ashamed of yourselves.

    My bed is only 5 years old and we spent almost $8,000 on it. We were willing to pay top dollar for a good, quality product. Last night the pump broke and ALL of the air went out of my side of the mattress. Since it's still under warranty, I "only" have to pay $271 to get a new pump. And it will take 3-4 days so now I'm stuck with this crappy bed and crappy sleep for days. Now I find out that the mattress is either too hard (with too much air in it), or it is rock hard when deflated because you are sleeping on the frame or box springs. There is no comfortable in-between because the mattress is too thin to allow a mid-point of inflation. And the mattress is so thin that the normal fitted bottom sheet is just a "bag" over it and too loose. Of course, their demo at their store is not what you get when you buy.

    After 10 years, pump wore out and adjustable bed no longer adjusts. The bed was comfortable the first 15 years, but seems to have worn out. Added two inch foam pads on top which helped. Do like the separate twin beds pushed into a king bed with king bed linens.

    I had back issues that Select Comfort really helped. Have had one for 15 years now and it's still going strong. Very comfortable and adjustable firmness is what I like. Bought 2nd one for another bedroom that is just as delightful. Even bought a single for a daughter when she went to college. She moved a few times and it was simple for her to take apart and move on her own. Very light and easy to haul to different sites.

    Very satisfied with our Sleep Number bed. Love the adjustable head and foot selections. The foot warmer is to die for! Had a small problem (lack of communication) as salesman mentioned our brackets (from previous Sleep Number bed) would work w/ new bed. Hence, they did not. Had to order new set (to hook headboard to bed) and would have to charge for another delivery/hook up. Talked w/ customer service and fee was waived. YEAH! Had another problem when heat run was damaged and customer service came thru w/ flying colors as we received a check for the damages (quite expensive as it involved removal/replacement). Overall, very satisfied!!

    Buyer's remorse doesn't cover it. We had a SN bed before this and was happy with it. However, the new iteration is a disaster. Returned the "cooler" right away. It did not work. Would have returned whole thing but they won't refund for the frame. Didn't tell us that. They didn't tell us you need WiFi to make the automatic adjuster to work. It's very complicated and finicky. If you don't plug it in, in the right order, nor push the right buttons in just the right way, it won't work. The foam overlay is already breaking down, which makes the bed too soft when you sit down.The remote control unit uses symbols that make no sense and is poorly labeled. I had to replace the compressor recently, after less than 2 years. Sans warranty, it would have cost me $500. Thought it would last longer than that.

    Returning the old one has been impossible because the online return label feature is not working. No one has returned my email regarding this. Everything with this brand is too complicated, too difficult, too expensive, too much of an attempt to be high-tech, a goal which it falls far short. We got taken in with slick marketing and easy financing. Run away from this product line, unless you like $400 sheets.

    The best we have ever owned. You can adjust to your own sleeping comfort. My back and hips don't hurt when I get up in the morning.     We purchased a Sleep Number mattress several years ago. At first it seemed ok. After about 3 months, my wife started having back problems only in bed. She tried several different settings on her side of the bed, but nothing seemed to help. We called the company at their Customer Service number. After explaining the problem we had with the mattress she was put on hold and the Customer Service representative never came back on line. After 30 minutes of being on hold she finally hung up. I attempted to call the company at the Customer Service number and they would not answer the phone. We finally gave the mattress away and bought a Sealy mattress and have had no problems.

    Hi, We ordered our bed in February and it was delivered today. We spent several thousand dollars on a bed and headboard and were surprised and disappointed to learn that the bracket to connect them was not included, nor did the delivery guys have any extra on their truck. We learned that the bracket has to be purchased separately for $42. We think it's ridiculous to spend this kind money for a headboard and bed and not have everything needed included for it to function properly. it feels like we're being nick and dimed, and now we have the hassle of waiting for a second delivery and assembling it ourselves. Pretty lousy policy and leaving the purchase as a disappointed customer. A bracket should be included for ANY headboard purchased!

    I too have been waiting 2 months for a mattress and bed spent over 9K. Just spoke to a rude home delivery customer service person. Said my bed was returned so I would have to wait another 8 weeks to make it again? After we went back and forth about what he was talking about I had no idea? He was not making any sense. He said he would transfer me to customer service. I held but they never answered. So I called back and customer service said that the order was cancelled. He obviously did on purpose to be cute and funny. I told them to reverse that I have been waiting for 2 months for this and how can a delivery scheduler cancel my customer order???? She said he is authorized to cancel your order. I told her to reverse what he did that it was 10 minutes ago he cancelled it NOT ME! She then put me on to someone else that said they could send me a shipping label to return the $800.00 in sheets that came UPS two months ago.

    This is really unbelievable - to be treated like this just cause some delivery scheduler was having a bad day and that it was cute to cancel my order. Here is my order number #: **- I hope you look into this and the employee that is treating your customers this way - this is not the first bed I have bought from you but perhaps may be the last. I hope I hear from someone in regards to this BS by your home delivery employee.

    I placed an order for a flex top king sheet set. The website did not state what size pillowcases were included, so I did a live chat to double check. I assumed they were king size, but the live chat agent told me they were standard. I questioned her again, and she said standard. So I ordered an extra pair of king size because I needed two standard and two king. Of course, she was wrong and I received the set and it included two king size pillowcases. So I now have 4 king size and no standard. I ordered online because of the coronavirus. My husband is very ill and can not be compromised so I try not to go to a store or the post office.

    I called and just asked if they could mail me two standard cases at no charge since it was your mistake. They immediately said it was not possible. So, now I have missed the sales price and I would have to go to the store or spend my time re-packaging the cases and taking them to get mailed. Really, you can't mail me another set of standard cases at no cost to correct your error? I mean how much does two pillowcases really cost your bottom line in order to make a customer happy? I have already spent thousands on the bed and hundreds on sheets in the past. Someone needs to use some common sense.

    I recently upgraded my 13 year old Sleep Number bed for their new Sleep Number 360 and it is wonderful. I loved my old bed but the new one is not only incredibly comfortable but the added features are amazing. Yes, just as advertised the mattress adjusts as you sleep to help keep you comfortable. The ability to adjust the height of your head and feet helps so much if you need to sleep with either raised. And I didn’t even know prior to getting the bed that it had under bed lighting that comes on when you get out of bed and stays on until you get back in bed. The bed is a little pricey but it is well worth it especially if you suffer with a bad back. I would highly recommend this bed to anyone.

    We have not had a great experience with Sleep Number. 1) Sales person didn't bother to mention that the adjustable base wasn't returnable at the time of sale and 2) The first sleep number we got was hurting by back (I have bulging discs in my lower back), so we exchanged for a softer one in Feb. It also is making me wake up in pain every day, so I'd like to just return it all, but am now being told the 100-day trial doesn't start over with the new bed, which wasn't communicated at the time of exchanging, nor is it spelled out on their website. As someone who has a terrible back, I've had to try mattresses in the past from other companies, and never encountered policies such as these, which is why we didn't think to ask these questions/ask to read the fine print. So now I'm stuck with a brand new $7k bed I can't use.

    My wife and I have two Select Comfort mattresses over a twenty-five year period and last year bought a third (Sleep Number) smart mattress. The very first one was a replacement and to my knowledge is still in service. The second mattress which we are currently using is just fine and is about six years old. The new one bought last year is for the guest bedroom and is being use by our daughter. Had problems in the beginning with the smart mattress part with the remote eating batteries which took a while to figure how to turn the smart part of and now it's just a dumb mattress that works just fine. The problem with the remote was that it was trying to find a phone app to connect with. Very disappointed in the beginning, but OK with it now. The new bed did have a mattress issue but it was warranted.

    Purchased my Sleep Number bed several years ago. Cost was in excess of $6000. After purchasing and returning several other name brand beds my wife and I decided on sleep number because of it's advertising being so convincing for comfort. Initially it was different and better than what we purchased in the past, however after a year or so we started waking up in pain regardless of positioning or pressure of bed. To this day we do not get a solid night's sleep. I do not recommend this bed.

    My Sleep Number bed with the adjustable frame has been a lifesaver. I have respiratory issues that require that I sleep in a semi-sitting position. Add to that, the adjustable comfort level of the mattress itself, I sleep better than I ever have.

    I love my Sleep Number bed and its features, but the price tag is painful and the shopping experience is unpleasant. (Has a "used car dealership pushiness to it.) Delivery fees are exorbitant. They push a lot of overpriced items, also - sheets, pillows, etc. I get tons of junk mail from them. (I'm not sure how many beds they think I need!) One of the delivery people tried to give me a "good deal" on mattresses/bases that he apparently got with an employee discount or something, which was really awkward and random, since I had just spent thousands on the one they were delivering.

    The infinite settings make personal comfort easy to achieve. Independent of the other bed occupant, I can rest better. Changing the settings is simple and quick. Settings are permanent until I change them so there is no need to adjust. Making up the bed is easy because the mattress is light enough to pick up a corner to put on the fitted sheet.

    I have had this mattress for over 15 years. I've had to replace a remote and a motor (it's also an adjustable mattress). Customer service was easy to contact and very helpful. The cost of replacement parts was also reasonable. It's very comfortable and I will definitely get another. The only negative is moving, taking down and setting up can be complicated. I admit, I did not try to contact them to see if they offer that service.

    We purchased a Queen size Sleep Number bed after a great experience with the customer service at a local Sleep Number store. We had received several recommendations from family and choose the SN after checking out several other brands. Since my husband and I have very different requirement for a mattress, the firmness selection sold us. We also wanted to be able to bring the head up (he snores, I have acid reflux). Very satisfied with our very expensive purchase.

    The bed is good. The store I purchased from was rushing us and didn't help us find our Sleep Number. Once you understand how to set the bed up, it is not hard to move and set up. Overall I would say the product is good, the service needed some work.

    Sixteen years! And going strong. Had motor issue, addressed right away. Have had questions and spoke to a person right away and got answers. I sleep good and will buy another when necessary. We have two, one king and one queen. Now get this. I transported the entire queen size in my Audi TT from Baltimore, MD to Oconomowoc, WI, in my TT! Both mattress and foundation! In my TT! And best sleep ever.

    This is my second mattress & the first one is still in use also. I first bought a queen size. When we moved & had the room I purchased a king. Our son is still using the queen that I bought in 1989. We have replaced the foam bumpers around the outside edges of the mattresses. The company keeps records of each purchase so with just a phone call or by checking online they know exactly what you need to keep your mattress in tip top condition at reasonable costs. These are expensive to purchase, but they never seem to need to be replaced, and the service for repairs, if required, is exceptional. Great product.

    We bought a C-2 king mattress about 2 months ago. We replaced our existing mattress that we had on the wooden platform with this new mattress. To my surprise, the mattress left the corners of platform exposed because the mattress was one inch less in width AND length AND height. It is 79"x75"x7" instead of 80"x76"x8". We called customer service but they were defiant. Their assertion was that the mattresses have a variance and this falls under variance. I had several mattresses in the past and none of them had this issue. After a lengthy arguments, they suggested I buy their foundation for $250 that has rounded covered corners. It was really infuriating that they want me to spend more money to cover their problem. The comfort is not great either. I would rather buy a camping style air mattress which would cost hardly 1/10 of this bed.

    Ordered my bed over month ago and had two separate dates scheduled for delivery and Select Number has cancelled both. I'm being told they will reschedule me three weeks out. Said that's the best they can do. I don't have a bed to sleep in and they could care less. I will never buy another product from Select Number or recommended them to anyone I know!

We chatted about many things before I knew her affiliation and when Sleep Number came up she was great.     My wife and I purchased a Sleep Number iLE Queen size mattress from an online representative on February 8th, 2020. We were so excited to receive the mattress because we both suffer from severe sleeping issues and were assured that a Sleep Number mattress would be right for us. The mattress was installed on February 21st, and it was horrible to say the least. This mattress was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on: 1) there was no support in the middle, which meant we slept crooked or smushed together, 2) the SleepIQ did not work half the time, 3) it felt like we were sleeping on an expensive air mattress, and 4) the mattress did not provide the support or relief that we were told it would.

    I spoke with a representative via phone call to their returns department on February 23rd, 2020 to discuss return options because our sleeping worsened since beginning to sleep on this mattress. I was told that they would send someone out to install a foam centerpiece and reconfigure the SleepIQ at no cost (installed on March 6th, 2020). I told the representative that even though I am optimistic about this fixing the dreaded “trenching” of the mattress, it is still a very uncomfortable bed, therefore I would like to go ahead and process a return.

    The representative told me that a different mattress would solve all of my problems, the p5. I expressed my concern with all of the fees associated with exchanging the mattress for another and potentially returning the new one. I made it very clear that I did not want to pay another shipping fee for this mattress because I was not certain the issue would be resolved. The representative assured me that this p5 mattress would be perfect and we would not return it; however, they did tell me that I would not be charged the shipping fee for the exchanged mattress. With this in mind, I approved the exchange because I wanted to give Sleep Number another chance. I received a refund for the difference in price of the two mattresses and was assured that I was not charged for the new shipping/exchange.

    The iLE mattress was removed from our home on March 18th, 2020 and the p5 was installed the same day. Within a couple of weeks, I called the returns department on March 30th, 2020 because we decided to return the p5 mattress. We were experiencing the exact same issues: no center support, SleepIQ did not work, it felt like an expensive air mattress, and it did not provide assured support or relief. The representative processed my return and I expected to see a large refund on my Synchrony (financing for Sleep Number) account; however, when I checked my account a few days later, I saw a balance of $645. With the already-made payment of $121 during the month of March 2020, this tells me that Sleep Number is charging me $785 for a mattress that I do not even have. I want to also point out that during my time of initial purchase, the delivery fee I saw on their website said $199, but I was charged $249.

    When I reached out to customer service to figure out where this amount came from, I was told that it is from the initial delivery, the exchange delivery, and the return fee. I was completely shocked that they decided to charge me for the exchange delivery even though I was clearly assured that I would not be paying it. I was charged $249 on three separate occasions, then somehow charged an additional $11 for no reason (total $785) because I was trying to give Sleep Number a chance to make this right. When I told the representative that I was assured I would not be charged for the exchange delivery, they told me it was policy and there is nothing they could do about it.

    We are extremely disappointed in how we have been treated by Sleep Number, especially since we have sleep health issues and that we are facing unprecedented times with COVID-19. We are facing financial hardship and to be treated like this during this time is absolutely ruthless. We have been taken advantage of so they can make $785 off of a mattress that we do not even have anymore. Having this amount of debt to pay off is not allowing us to purchase the mattress we need for better health.

    It is abhorrent and overall criminal to 1) sell products with false advertisement saying that this bed will provide however much support and relief, 2) to assure a customer that they will not have to pay for something then charge them anyways and 3) to have policies that make the customer responsible for paying shipping/deliver/exchange fees for giving this company a chance based on their advertisements AND taking representative advice to try out multiple mattresses. Sleep Number has contributed to a large amount of distress and unhealthy sleep, which is directly contradictory to their advertised statements. DO NOT PURCHASE A SLEEP NUMBER. There are plenty of other alternatives out there that treat their customers better.

    When you spend around $6000 for a bed (I think I8) you think of it as an investment. Only Sleep Number doesn't seem to look at this way. We bought our bed about 4 years ago. The first year was nice. The second year was ok, the third year starting to get sore and at the fourth year it is more comfortable to sleep on my recliner than in bed. There is about a 4" sag on both side of our king size be like a hollow. I have brought this to the customer service and they told me that isn't covered because this is a wear and tear component. Remember this is the sleeping surface so how is this not covered. I was told I could buy a new pillow top but not under warranty. I was told that if I found a tread coming loose that would be covered. What is the point of a great warranty if it doesn't cover the parts you sleep on? Stay away from this company. They don't stand behind their beds. Invest in some other bed that will honor the bed you sleep on.

I contacted customer service to find what the approach would be if the store closing would pass my 100 day exchange validation. CS replied management was not extending the 100th day exchange.     I purchased a Sleep Number on 3/9/2020. Soonest delivery date was 3/28/2020. Due to COVID-19 this date was cancelled, which is understandable. However Sleep Number offered ZERO alternative options to give me the product I paid for. They still keep insisting that it has to be a "Tech Delivery" and won't just ship it to me or let me pick it up from the store. So basically I have paid for a mattress in full that has no ETA on delivery in which is the only way I can receive the product.
