    I have been having some back problems so I bought the Sleep Number mattress and base. When I got it from the store, they said to start it at around 40 which I did but it wasn’t so much different. So I pulled it up to 45, then to 50 and all of a sudden my back stopped hurting. And now, I’m at 60 and I sleep all night. Their delivery team was great because it went upstairs and I am so glad I didn’t have to drag it upstairs. I like the bed.

    It’s my second Sleep Number bed. Prior to this, I had one for about eight to ten years but I moved across country and sold most of my furniture because I didn’t want to move it and pay to move it. I bought a regular mattress and box spring and was really feeling it. At about the eight to ten year mark, I decided that I was going to go back to Sleep Number. I like the online tracking of my sleep. I don’t think that’s necessary but it’s fun. This bed is more comfortable than we think it’s going to be. People see it as air mattress but it’s more than that.

    We have different desires for hardness, firmness and softness. Although I was perfectly fine with our other bed, my husband wanted a Sleep Number and he seems to like it. We had it delivered and when I got home, it was already set up and operational.

    My Husband and I went to the Meridian Mall during the Memorial Day sale and tried different beds, and ended up choosing the P5. The salesperson went over the different options. We chose to put it together ourselves and to use our own frame and not get the sleep IQ. We made it clear that we wanted a base and she explained that it would all come in boxes and that the base would be separate pieces. We received just 2 boxes, so I called, and lo and behold I was told that we got everything we ordered. They told me that we didn't order a base. Why would we not get a base? When I called the Sales person, she said that she didn't really recall our conversation, that she deals with so many people. That she must not have been clear. On the receipt nothing is broke down. I'm not sure if she was being dishonest to get the sale or just made an honest mistake. I'm still waiting to hear back from her to see if they are willing to do anything.

    I have three Sleep Number beds. In my most recent purchase I got the mattress and the base. I had a fun interaction with the sales professionals. It was quick. The first one I had, they delivered and set it up. The second, I had fun setting it up. I did it all by myself but it was not easy. The third one, I had a little bit of help so it was a whole lot easier. The overall quality of the bed is good. All in all, I'm happy with my Sleep Number beds.

    My wife has been wanting a Sleep Number for a long time. She has some health issues so it’s been hard for her to sit up on bed so we needed one that would come up and that she could sleep on. The salespeople were very good and more than I expected. I scheduled a home delivery and I was amazed. I thought it would take two or three hours to get all set up but the deliver crew was in and out very quickly and was professional. Sleep Number is probably the best bed I had. My wife sleeps through most nights now, which before she couldn't. She can also prop the bed up and eat on it much easier than what she could do before. I'm very pleased. It needs getting used to adjusting it and finding your number but once I did, it's fine.

    We’ve been looking at Sleep Number for the last 3-4 years and finally bought a king size mattress including sheets and comforters. Their sales rep explained everything to us and was really good. That’s why we got so much. The items were shipped but they delivered the mattress and put it together. Their delivery team was good. I like the quality of the bed. However, there's a gap in the middle of the bed where they come together so I need to call somebody for that. My husband who was having a hard time sleeping now sleeps like a baby.

    We bought two Sleep Number singles and I’m happy with mine. The delivery guy was very nice and explained what he was doing and answered any questions. All the service and the people that we dealt with were great. The reason we bought the beds was because my husband has so much trouble with his back, hip and legs. He can’t lay out straight. We’re trying to make him as comfortable as possible but it didn’t make any difference, so he’s still not sleeping in the bed. The beds work like they said it would and we’re just sorry that my husband couldn’t find a position. I’m probably going to get the cushiony top that you can zip in. I went online to see if I could buy this top because the salesman showed it to me and how it went in. But when I went to their website, there were other items I could buy but not that.

    We were due for a bed and my parents have a Sleep Number so we got the standard base, mattress cover, cooling pad, and pillows from Sleep Number. The sales rep was knowledgeable and courteous. She even remembered us when we came back to get another pillow. Setting up the bed wasn't difficult but it took a long time. The instructions were easy to follow but I would rather have them do it instead of us doing it ourselves. Apart from that, it's great and I have no regrets at all.

    My husband usually likes mattresses that are firmer than what I like. We've been married for eight years and since the beginning of our marriage, I wanted to have a bed with a softer mattress. My brother had a Sleep Number for years so I knew it's been around. I purchased an i10 and both my husband and I love it. The sales rep at the store was nice and informative. We had a great experience with the delivery team. They set everything up and explained everything to me.

    So far, so good with the Sleep Number bed. It's easy to use and comfortable. It's making my brain work on a Friday. Before, we had foam mattresses in the bed that my husband had long before we met and my back would hurt sometimes in the morning getting up. I don't have those problems anymore. Then if I have to visit family and sleep in their bed, I wake up cranky because I'm missing my bed at home. However, one of the remotes we have doesn't work sometimes. Maybe I just need to update the battery because normally I don't touch it once I figured out what setting I like.

    My wife’s family has a couple of Sleep Number and they love them. I’ve slept on one before and I could tell it’s really nice so we decided to get one. The sales rep really did a great job at showing the products and the delivery went well, too. So far, our experience with Sleep Number has been good. However, with the bed we’ve noticed some strange behavior. Sometimes, I’ll mess with the settings on my side but it’ll make her side harder. Sometimes I’ll get it and it’ll be something like 35 or 40 and my side will be really hard. I plan on taking the top off again just to see if there’s anything that could be causing that. But aside from that, everything has been fantastic. Also, I’d noticed they say that the Sleep Number really helps your back, and I have back issues and my back problems have been significantly better. It’s really one of the best beds I’ve owned. We're definitely more relaxed.

    We absolutely love our Sleep Number. We tried a lot of other mattresses over the past 15 years and none of them had the staying quality or the comfort that we had anticipated it would be. We thought maybe Sleep Number’s the mattress for us and sure enough, so far it has been. The gentleman that waited on us was very polite, nice, and accommodating. He took his time with us because we wanted to try out the bed first. He was very good adjusting it and doing whatever we asked him to do with it.

    The delivery team was on time, very courteous and friendly. They demonstrated what they were doing as far as putting the air in it and setting it up. We were amazed at how it was all in pieces and then went together as a mattress and they were very accommodating to answer all of our questions that we had. Sleep Number has a great quality for a great price. The sleep is so much better at night. I would wake up several times a night, very uncomfortable, and with Sleep Number, I sleep straight through the night now even after a shorter period of time.

    My husband likes a harder mattress and I like it softer. We were looking for a bed that could accommodate both of us. Orlando, the sales rep from Sleep Number, did a really nice job. We didn’t know what questions to ask, so he explained as much as we needed. He did keep saying that since we bought on a weekday, that we were getting the bed 50% off. After we paid for it and got it home, we realized we were only getting 50% off on just the mattress, not the entire adjustable base and the bedding. So we were misled on some of the information.

    Delivery went well. The guys explained more to us once we had the bed in the house, and that was very helpful. They were great and even took all their trash with them. It was a good experience. We're concerned about the quality. We've not even had it a whole 90 days and it's almost like my husband’s side is breaking down. We feel that the pieces of the mattress itself should be of higher quality. We've got two individual adjustable beds put together and they keep creeping apart. The head pieces of our beds are pulling apart and there's a good 6 to 8-inch gap. We have to keep trying to push the beds back together, but we can't really do that.

    I had Craftmatic beds years ago and they were a good bed but the company didn't stand behind their products when things went wrong. I had bought two of them for my wife and I. When the motor went out on mine in six months, they gave me a motor. But when hers went bad, they told me to talk to different people and it went on for years. I’ve been wanting to buy a new bed for about ten years but I couldn’t. Finally, I went and bought a Sleep Number bed just this year and I'm sure glad I did. It's paid for itself already.

    The first night, I didn't enjoy the bed. It's just flat and has no pockets. I kept rolling and very nearly fell off it. I also had a little trouble with the batteries not lasting very long the first time. I don't know if they were used batteries. I'm also slowly getting on the remote control. I had little trouble with the massage, but I finally got it down pat now. It was over a month before I got it to work. But other than these, the Sleep Number is the greatest bed that I ever had. I enjoy it and use it a lot. I was told that every morning when I get up, to run it up to a hundred to put the full amount of air in it and that's what I do. I am very satisfied with my Sleep Number.

    The sales reps were excellent. The only thing I was disgusted with was the delivery. I had to stay home between 2:00 and 6:00 but it was 7:00 that night when I got my bed. I would've appreciated a call from them saying it's going to be late. I had a phone number, but it was a store number and of course they were closed. I was also disappointed because my old bed was out in the street and it was snowing. I didn't know they wouldn't take it out. My cleaning lady had the salesman's name so she called him on his number and told him about this. So we waited until 7:00. The people who came to get the bed were good, but at the last part of it, the young boy got a little bit cocky with me.

    We purchased a Sleep Number since I was having some back problems. The sales rep was very friendly and knowledgeable in what he was doing, and he answered our questions to our needs. The delivery crew had given me a time frame, and I had told my husband to be there within that time frame ‘cause we both work and they didn’t get there on time. They got there a little bit later and my husband had already gone back to work, so he had to come back. But it's no big deal. The bed really accommodates our needs depending on how tired we are for the day. It’s according to the number that we use, and that’s really good because we went there with the understanding that I was a much softer kind of person and my husband was much harder. And it ended up being the opposite when we got our beds ‘cause you can set it up to whatever you need for the day or according to how you’re feeling.

    We couldn’t find a bed that was comfortable so we decided to purchase a Sleep Number bed. My husband likes it. However, my side keeps deflating and I have to pump it back up again at least once a week. We also got the cooling pad and we like that. Their sales reps were good. They were all satisfied and one feature that we liked about Sleep Number was the fact that we don't have to keep buying a new mattress every few years. We also like that we could adjust it as our needs change. Their reps were also very helpful and knowledgeable and told us about all the different types of beds they had.     I bought this bed for fibromyalgia back pain. I spent over $8,000. Within the first year, we started having problems with error messages, deflating and the bed suddenly falling backwards. The bed has not been moved since it was installed. My side of the bed also looks like it has a permanent dent in the center (I only weigh 140 lbs). We've called customer service, done troubleshooting, waited on parts and after two months, received the part, called again to schedule repairmen. They came, supposed fixed, and other than clearing the error message the deflating and falling back continued. In the meantime I've been hospitalized and have worsened. Customer service is not helpful. Reached out to sales, still not helpful. Two other friends purchased other models and threw them out after one year. I did not listen. Worst purchase of my life.

    We got our first Sleep Number in 2005. We loved it so much, but we wanted the ability to have both sides raised up separately. We purchased our second one. We went on a holiday weekend and we got a very good deal. The sales rep couldn’t have been more helpful and expedited delivery as much as she could. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable. When I went back into the store to purchase something else, I was very glad that she was there and remembered me from a couple of weeks prior to that. I was very impressed with her.

    The bed is amazing. The only thing I don’t like is the dust ruffle. We had looked at other products and for the money, Sleep Number far exceeded the other ones that we’ve looked at. It's everything we wanted and then some. We have been at home shows and other events where Sleep Number has had exhibits and we have often walked by and said, “Go ahead and buy it. You won’t be sorry” to people. One time a couple stopped us when we were in another section of the building and said, “You really like your Sleep Number that much?” I said yes.

    My parents bought me a Sleep Number at first and I really liked it. It was a queen size and I needed to upgrade to a bigger bed. I got the mattress, the base, and the comforter and it's awesome. I also bought the temperature-controlled sheets and it does exactly what it says. The salespeople were good. However, when I walked in at first, the sales rep thought I couldn't afford a $1,200 bed because I'm young. Whenever we went to check out, he automatically handed me the financing form and then I asked, "Well, what am I even filling out?" before I signed it. He told me it was the financing so I could pay over time. I wanted to pay cash for it but he assumed that since I was young, I had to pay for it that way. He got embarrassed 'cause we had to get a new sales associate. But, it wasn't really a big deal. It was funny for me and I'm not mad.

    I had the items delivered by UPS and dealing with them was terrible. Other than that, the whole experience was easy and I'm happy with every choice I made. I absolutely love the quality and it was easy for me to set up. I've been sleeping so much better on this bed and I can't imagine sleeping on anything else. I really enjoy it and I will definitely get more.

    I was moving to Palm Springs and needed a bed. I’ve checked Consumer Reports and in there was listed 12 models - two of them were recommended and so I went by and looked at them. The price was $799 but was marked down to $599. I had looked at another standard bed without the Sleep Number aspect and it cost about the same amount. So I said, “Okay. I’ll just try Sleep Number” since it was recommended and I had heard some good things from various people about it.

    I was very much impressed by the salesperson. He seemed to be very knowledgeable, upfront, answered my questions, and didn't try to pressure me into anything. The model that I bought wasn’t as expensive as most of Sleep Number's products and he didn’t try to switch me to a more expensive one. He was the other reason that I went with Sleep Number. I came in, asked for a model, told him why and that’s what we focused on. He explained how it worked. I talked about other things that I wanted the bed to do and I ended up buying those, but I never felt any pressure from the salesman at all.

    I didn’t have any issues with delivery. I had to call a later time and get delivery, and I never had to follow up on that at all. Both their staff from sales and delivery were professional. I have been very pleased with the bed. I got the SleepIQ and I sleep very well. Since I live by myself, I was really wondering how timely do I actually sleep. I have maybe an unconscious fear of sleep apnea, but apparently I don’t because I do not have a restless sleep at all at night. So I’m very pleased. I find some of the instructions not intuitive, but I can figure it out after some time.

    I heard a lot of things about Sleep Number and people saying it's the best night that they ever had to sleep. I needed a new mattress but I dallied around it for a couple of years before I finally decided to do it. When I did, I didn’t know what to expect. I was looking for something firmer but all of a sudden I got the pillow top which is very soft and I’m not used to that softness. But it’s fine. It takes a while but I’m getting used to it.

    The two young men who came to deliver the bed put it together fast. I talked to them and asked them questions. They answered as much as they could, but they were in a hurry. I didn’t know the underpinnings of the mattress so I ordered new sheets and skirt to go around it not knowing the skirt couldn’t have a center part to it and would have to be just around the edge. I was told to just cut it out, so I did. I tried to pin it on but my fingers aren’t strong enough to get the pins where I wanted them to. I’m enjoying the bed but I’m not really sold on it.

    We've been looking at the Sleep Number for years. My wife had a stroke so she needed some of the functions of a hospital bed so we decided it was time to buy. The Sleep Number also gives us the opportunity to adjust our bed differently. We bought the mattress and the base that raises and lowers. I couldn't understand the person who first called about the delivery because she had a cold or something, so we had to do some checking and got it straightened out. The people that delivered the bed came right at the end of the two-hour window we were given. They put it in, we asked a couple of questions and they were gone.

    The bed works all right for me but it's very expensive for the product delivered. There's not nearly as much to it than what it looks like in the store.     First time Sleep Number purchaser in 2016, and was between this and Tempur-pedic Cloud Supreme. Factored in even the total cost of ownership, including the year 2 to 10 increasing costs of warranty replacement of the pump. The price difference was an additional $2,446 over a 10-year life of the i8 vs. Cloud Supreme. Ended up purchasing after researching online, visiting a Sleep Train to try out innerspring and Tempur-pedic, the Sleep Number store, then doing more reading, and finally asking online support about if the Mattress Protector would block the heat control qualities of the i8 (said it didn't).

    Will see - purchased it during their annual sale for $500 discount, so even with the home delivery only (self-install) and the $300 to ship back if it doesn't work out after the 100-day guarantee, we should will still have made a good choice in testing out the bed in our own home. Plus, was told by sales that the foams off-gassing shouldn't take 6 weeks to dissipate because it comes rolled.

    I initially purchased a couple of pillows from Sleep Number and they have been sending me advertisement through the mail, which caught my attention. I had been sleeping on the same bed since God knows when so I figured it was time to change. The guys from Sleep Number set the bed up and it was working well, but I took it apart and moved into my new apartment, and it’s not as great as it once was. I’m having issues with the remote since then. I can’t get it to recline to the position I want. I can only do it on my phone and I can only get it to recline a little bit. I’ve been meaning to call them about that, but I’m always busy and by the time I remember, it’s about 7 or 6 o’clock at night. Other than that, I'm satisfied with my Sleep Number bed.

    I've been sleeping on a Sleep Number bed for the last 18 years and I get a better night's sleep. But I haven't been as impressed with the quality of this current bed as I was the first time I purchased. This is the third Sleep Number bed I have purchased. I upgraded and purchased the movable base where the head raises up. It has the controller where I can check for readouts to see what kind of sleep I got the night before which I find to be useless. The technology stuff is a waste on me. This last purchase is a bit disappointing.

    I have a Sleep Number in my house in Michigan. It's 15 years old and I like it. It's holding up fine and doesn’t lose shape because it's an air bed. I just pump it back up, which I don’t have to do often. I needed a new bed in Florida and decided to go to a Sleep Number store. The beds were nice and new and improved so I bought another one.

    The sales representative was a very nice gentleman. He was very friendly and informative, showed us the product and the new features, explained everything very well and was not overly pushy.     We’ve heard a lot of things about Sleep Number. We've been thinking about it for quite a while and when it was time to change the bed, we decided we'd get a Sleep Number. We went through their store and they were absolutely great. They let us try different settings and then we ordered one. The sales professionals were phenomenal. Miranda was absolutely great. She explained everything and by the time we left, we even knew how to put the bed together. We got the bed, which is in our motor home, and I set it up myself. I had all the information and didn’t have to call to ask questions. My overall experience with Sleep Number was excellent. I have nothing negative to say. It takes a bit of doing as far as figuring out the numbers, but if you follow the directions properly, don’t try to save numbers all night and just try them for a few days, you will eventually get the right number.

    My parents have a Sleep Number and it made a difference for them so I also bought a Sleep Number mattress and some sheets. The gentleman I spoke with was very patient with the fact that I had my son with me.     I have ordered the bed on May 14 and Heidi - the salesperson - was very helpful. The initial delivery was set for May 25 but one of the boxes missed a piece. The delivery guys called customer service but couldn't get the missing part delivered overnight. I even spoke to that lady but she wasn't very helpful. Next, they sent the missing part to my house during the Memorial Day weekend and sat in front of my garage for 3 days. Since I knew I'll be gone I called in advance to request postponing delivery and David (SN customer rep) assured me it will be pushed until after the holiday weekend. Once back from my trip I called again customer service to schedule an appointment and Angela said they're busy with all the deliveries after Memorial weekend and closest is June 15.

    I insisted to talk to the routing manager but she refused. Instead she committed to escalate the issue with that manager and to call me back to confirm. Guess what? It didn't happen so right now I assume the delivery date will be June 23 but have no email confirmation from Sleep Number. I called again - this time the store - and spoke to Heidi and she promised me to escalate the issue from within. So far I haven't heard back from any higher echelon at Sleep Number. Unfortunately, I really need this bed due to my second back injury, otherwise I'd have ditched the whole deal.

    My husband's sister had purchased a Sleep Number bed. Her husband had a terrible fall and he's been sleeping in his recliner. He said that there's no bed in the world that would make him go back to sleeping in the recliner but lo and behold he's sleeping in the Sleep Number. It's the best thing since sliced bread.     Many years ago, I had had the opportunity of sleeping on a Sleep Number and enjoyed it. I had bad back and neck pains and a lot of other problems. I had finally got to a situation where I could afford making the change so I convinced my husband that we needed it at the time. He liked them so we went ahead and bought the whole bed with the memory foam. I had never had a memory foam bed and had been warned about overheating. I'm really sensitive so I made sure that I got all the extra bedding that Sleep Number has to help keep me cool. I still get a little warm but it's still very comfortable. I have no more back and neck pains. It's really helped and it's awesome. However, there have been a couple of minor glitches. I had it up and it didn't want to go down. I tried it again and it was fine and it hasn’t been that since. Other than that, I like the overall quality and I have told lots of people about my Sleep Number.

    We got a brand new mattress last year and after a couple of weeks and my husband's side of the bed sunk in. So, we ended up getting another mattress from Beautyrest and it's not halfway a decent one. We'd turn and toss and I'd wake up achy all over and he'd have a little bit of arthritis. So friends of ours told us about the Sleep Number. They had one and every time we'd say something, they're like, "You should really get a Sleep Number 'cause it's nice 'cause you can adjust it to firm, soft or whatever."

    We thought, "do we wanna spend that kind of money on a bed?" And we got to a point where we're like it's either we get a new bed like try Sleep Number or we'd just be miserable. So, we decided to get one and we stuck by it. We bought their mattress, base and pillows. Interacting with their sales professional was good because she has a Sleep Number so she was pretty experienced with what they felt like and she liked it a lot. She was selling something she knew and not something she wasn't really sure about. The delivery team was also good. We're really happy with our Sleep Number. It's fantastic overall. How it works and the way we sleep with it is just great. I assume if we ever had issues, we would just call them and somebody would take care of it.

    We've been looking around for beds. We tried Sleep Number and Tempur-Pedic but we liked Sleep Number better so we bought from them both the base and the bedding. The initial sales person who we spoke with wasn't there when we went back to purchase the bed. She was a lot more knowledgeable than the one we ended up purchasing from. After the purchase, everything was very easy. It just took a while for the product to get here but the process of having it set up in my home was very simple.     The sales people told me this had a 10" mattress. It only has a 7" mattress. The worse feature is that the mattress overhangs the base unit by half an inch on each side, which in my opinion will break down very quickly from getting in and out of the bed. Leggett & Platt are the manufacturers of the base and its width is only 53" yet the Sleep Number people don't seem to care about what breakdown problems this will represent.

    Another problem was the height of the bed in the store. To the base it was 14", so I bought a skirt that length. When they put the bed up in my house it was 16" from the floor, which I have hard floors not carpet. As of this day I have not slept in the bed and it's been a comedy trying to get something from them to equal the size without ruining my floors. Their solution finally is caster cups, which I am now waiting for. Oh and the bed does make a noise, which I'm told they cannot do anything about. I would like to return the whole thing... Not happy at all.

Our adjustable bases, when paired with our standard 4" legs will have a height of 13.8" from the floor to the top of the base, and our mattresses are all measured at the center of the bed using a laser, so it can be difficult to recreate that measurement in your home.     We needed a new bed and the other beds that we tried out were not very comfortable, unlike Sleep Number. The saleslady helped us find ours on a little demo bed. She explained some of the different models to us and let us try those out and we ended up choosing the i8. The delivery team showed me how to operate the control and set the numbers for me and my wife. Her side of the bed feels different than mine at a setting of 45, though. I don’t know what it is or what caused it and it seems a bit odd but the overall quality of the bed is good.

    I have been having back pain pretty much my whole life and I always knew that it was probably due to the fact that I have a bed that really isn't giving me the support that I needed. And so, I was always looking to upgrade. I went into radio and they gave me a Sleep Number endorsement and therefore, I was thrilled, tickled pink because I knew I was gonna get the best bed ever and all I had to do is talk about it on the radio every day. And so, it was like a win-win for me. I bought the Sleep Number m7 bed.

    The sales professionals at Sleep Number were fantastic. Katy was so nice. We had the full experience and she was super helpful in telling us everything we needed to know about Sleep Number and showing us all the products and getting us completely acclimated through the whole system. So, it was absolutely fantastic.

    The delivery team was great and I'm completely happy and pleased with the whole delivery process. They quickly got my bed assembled, and showed me how it worked. It was literally like in and out and I was not inconvenienced in the slightest. I tell everybody I see that it is the best bed I've ever owned. And I no longer have that pain and I am like a different person. However, if I ever move, I'm not really 100% sure how to take apart my bed and put it back together. But I guess I could just call somebody and get some of the heads-up instructions on exactly how to reassemble it myself. My overall experience is fantastic and wonderful. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

    In 2001, I bought a Sleep Number 5000 and I was extremely overweight at the time, had terrible back problems, and would wake up every morning hurting. I was told by a family member that I should try a Sleep Number bed and I bought one. Instantly, the back pain went away and slept on that bed until I got divorced about two months ago and then needed a new bed for my new, much smaller place. I bought the lowest entry-level bed and it's really the bare-bones bed because I needed something that would fit in a toy hauler. The sales professionals were very, very excellent and they tried to be as honest with me as they could. I couldn't afford the bed that I wanted so I asked the sales guy if what I wanted to do would work. He was very, very nice and he said, "This is gonna be a much better fit for you than what you've been sleeping on. If you're not happy, you can bring it back."

    The quality is excellent and the pump in the new bed is actually quieter than the old pump I've been living with forever. I also like that it's a wireless remote now and that’s very nice. I was gonna buy the comforter or topper that cools and heats but there's no Sleep Number product that's made exactly for my bed size so I went with the BedJet. Sleep Number might think about making the topper to fit smaller beds and shave the price a bit. Nevertheless, my bed was delivered in a box and everything was in good shape. I pulled it out and had put it together in probably 30 minutes so it was real easy.

    I was enjoying Sleep Number bed. This system is maintaining a certain pressure of air in the support system of the bed itself. The beauty of it is that I can alter it depending upon my own particular need at any given moment besides the fact that the bed can be manipulated in other ways. On the other hand, the problem is that everything that works on a system of air contained within packets is likely to eventually puncture and develop leaks. Nevertheless, the sales professionals were excellent people, we've enjoyed them very well.

    I needed a new mattress, and Randy ** was the gentleman that we talked to at the Sleep Number store. He was very knowledgeable and we went through and tried out a number of different beds and a number of different combinations. And my wife liked the mattress and the base that we picked. We had it delivered, which was fine though their schedule was a little funny. Whoever did it didn’t obviously know the area. They’re about a hundred miles away from us! But it’s been all worked out. The good part of that was the driver called me and said, “Hey, there’s probably no way that we can make that time.” So it let me do other stuff that day.

    The only thing was online, there was a glitch where it was hard to get on the insider’s club. It took a little bit of time but we figured that and that was fine. We're very happy with the quality. We talked to some other people that we knew were looking for beds and said, “Hey, you should really go and check this out.” That’s how much we liked Sleep Number. It was a pleasant experience for us and everybody was professional.

    The sales professionals from Sleep Number were fantastic and very helpful. Delivery was straightforward and easy. However, the bed didn't get delivered until 8 o'clock in the evening, which was still in the time frame that they gave us, but we have children so it was a little bit disruptive. We didn't have a choice to adjust the delivery forward a little bit so the bed wouldn't be coming at bedtime. But when the delivery people got here, they tried to be as quick as possible so we can get our little ones to bed.

    My husband needed a really firm bed and I wanted something a lot softer. We bought a Sleep Number iLE mattress. The sales representative was helpful and we got to lay on top of different mattresses. We scheduled a home delivery and the delivery guys were great and very helpful. They didn't set up the bed for us because we were in the middle of painting our bedroom but they went through and explained exactly how to set it up and showed us how to do things. The direction booklet that was included helped a lot, too. We love our Sleep Number. It's a high-quality product which meets both my husband and my needs.     In the store, I was promised the moon. The salesman never called to follow up as promised. After a few months, the bed began to sag. Turned out the frame was defective. A new one was sent. After another 3 months, it sagged again. Again a new frame was sent. A few months later, the same thing. Even though I had a written 10 year warranty, I was now refused service 3x to fix a manufacturing defect. I ended up buying a plain mattress and have slept better on it than the Sleep Number bed. I will never buy another product from this company again. Their products are garbage and they refuse to honor their warranty.

    Our mattress was not comfortable for me or my husband at the time, so we bought a Sleep Number. The first person we talked to was fine, but then he got busy doing something else. And with the person who sold us our bed, I felt like I was misled on a couple of things. Maybe she didn’t know, and she just did what she had to do to make the sale. My husband seems satisfied with our Sleep Number but I’m not. I feel like the bed is hard. And if I adjust the sleep setting down, then I don’t have support and then I hurt my back because my hips will be too low. And the mattress to me feels like blankets balled up on a camping air mattress. I probably would have returned the bed had I been able to return the base as well.

    My wife was having more trouble with sleeping and we figured the Sleep Number bed might help her out. We got the king Sleep Number bed (the main part with two twin beds and no skirting around). I don't have any qualms about the bed. It seems I got it set where I like it. Even though my numbers are lower than my wife’s, she still doesn’t sleep quite as good as me, which is strange. She wakes up a lot. Sometimes it’s her hips or something she ate. But, for the most part, we like the bed. The sales professionals were knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. We have called them and they've always answered our questions.

    I was just a little surprised that the bed is an air mattress type setup thing. But, realistically, it's doing what it's supposed to do. It's quiet and works significantly well. I would recommend it to somebody else because I can adjust it for however firm I like it. My wife likes it soft and I like it firm. We could also adjust the bed letting us raise and lower our feet. That part works for me quite a bit because it settles down my acid reflux and helps me sleep more through the night.

    I had gone through six mattresses in two years and was trying to find one that would be the right fit and it just wasn't working. Then I purchased Sleep Number mattress, base and a couple of pillows. Their sales professional was very friendly, knowledgeable. He's one of the reasons why I did purchase. I had the product delivered to my home and the delivery team was efficient and quick. The overall quality of the products I purchased was very nice. I got the iLE. If I had been extended more credit, I would've bought the I8.

    However, I do have concerns about the base that I got. It was one of the top-of-the-line ones but I can buy it at other places for half of what I paid for it at Sleep Number. But I had to buy it in order to get the 36 months no interest financing. And then, my other concern is that the massage thing, when I change modes, it doesn't seem to make any difference. So, I don't know if it was hooked up right. Nonetheless, my wife loves it. I've really enjoyed it and it's been helping me not be in so much pain.

    While the in-store service was fine (customer service is always great when trying to get your money), the delivery service has been a nightmare. First, we are charged $180 for home delivery when we just spend $10,000 in the store; that is taking advantage of the customer. If one spends over $6,000, delivery should be complimentary. Second, we scheduled our delivery for 12-4 due to a prior engagement in the morning. Upon return home, we have a message left at 10:58 am stating they will be here to deliver the bed in 20 minutes; thus making arrival time 11:20 am, not 12 pm. No notice on the door that they'd already been here and missed us. We called the delivery individual (twice) who'd left the messages but received no response from him. We called the store and they just gave us the phone number for the home delivery call center who rescheduled our delivery for 8 days later; citing that was the best they could do.

    We called the store back to complain and spoke with "Diane" who e-mailed "David" with delivery. After numerous calls back-and-forth with Diane, we were told by David the following afternoon that there wasn't anything he could do but refund us the delivery fee (which shouldn't be charged in the first place). He was unsympathetic regarding the delay in delivery (which was not our fault), and when we stated we were thinking about canceling the entire order, he stated, "Well, that's certainly a decision you can make." Complete and total apathy. Disgusting.

    Our mattress was 57 years old, so I decided to purchase a new one from Sleep Number. The main thing that I didn't like was it had no instructions with it. Though they did demonstrated the bed when I was at the store. But everything I buy usually comes with an instruction book. They said that you should round the pressure up all the way every day or every other day, and there's nothing I received that said anything about that. The people that delivered our bed were very good, I couldn't have put it together myself. We like our bed very much, we are very satisfied with it and we would recommend it to friends.

    We were deciding on changing our mattress that had been 13 years old and we were having back issues. So, we decided to check out Sleep Number and bought the mattress. It was very good interacting with their sales professionals. They took the time. My wife and I tried all the different mattresses. We went back a second time and we wanted to know the difference between one and the other because they have a range of different mattresses. The delivery team were very efficient, showed us how the bed all fit together and put it together. We felt we got the best deal for what we wanted. The bed certainly served the purpose.

    We did want a thicker memory foam topping but we didn't buy that from Sleep Number. It changed the whole feel to feel much more expensive mattress than we had purchased. Sleep Number could probably have had a mattress that would have come right with that three-inch memory foam at a much more reasonable price than they have quoted for the memory foam top mattress.

    My husband and I bought a P5 with an adjustable base two weeks ago while on our anniversary trip. The gentleman in the store was incredibly nice and helpful. He was professional and answered all of our questions. He told us it would take approximately 2-3 weeks to receive our new bed. Our only complaint was that the delivery cost for us was much higher than the cost quoted on the brochure we saw. The reason given was that the cost is based on miles from the nearest distribution center and we were further away than most people from a center, and our cost was adjusted accordingly. Two days later someone from the delivery company called to set up the delivery day and time. They said they could deliver it today (June 3, 2016) between 10:00-2:00 or between 3:00-7:00.

    I chose 3:00-7:00, because I knew it would be easier for my husband to take off work a little early and get there by 3:00 instead of taking off the entire day to be there between 10:00-2:00. (He works from 7:00-4:00.) Yesterday someone called to confirm our delivery for today between 10:00-2:00. I said that we had chosen the 3:00-7:00 time frame for our delivery and that the 10:00-2:00 time would not work for us since my husband had already made arrangements to be off work for the time we had agreed on. The "customer service" person I spoke with told me there was nothing they could do about the time and that we had to do it between 10:00-2:00 because that was when they would be in our ZIP code. I asked to speak to a manager. I was told that they wouldn't change it for me, because they never do and that I was not supposed to have been given the 3:00-7:00 option to begin with.

    I explained that I was given that option and that it wasn't my fault the man whom I spoke with gave me an option I shouldn't have had, and they needed to honor their agreement. He said he would email the delivery company (because they didn't have a phone number he could call???) and ask them to change it, but that he knew what they would say. He would call me back in about 20 minutes with an answer. That was at 9:10 yesterday morning and I'm still waiting on a callback from him! My husband called them to try and arrange something closer to the time he had scheduled to be off work, and they wouldn't work with him either. He told them that no one would be there until around 2:00 today and to have the delivery driver call him. The delivery driver called me this morning (day of scheduled delivery) at about 9:30 saying they were leaving their plant and would be at our house around 11:00.

    I told him to call my husband because he was the one making arrangements, and that we had scheduled a time from 3:00-7:00 and not 10:00-2:00. He called my husband and said he couldn't do anything about the time and that he would be there around 11:00. My husband asked for the number of his supervisor. Instead a "customer service" person from their home office in Minnesota called. My husband again asked for the phone number of the delivery driver's supervisor. He was told that the delivery supervisor "doesn't take phone calls". The woman was unwilling to work with him at all on our original time agreed upon. She said she could reschedule for Saturday, June 18th. My husband agreed (even though we do not have a bed now for those 2 weeks since our old bed has now been given to our son).

    She said "Let me double check that date," and put him on hold. Several minutes later she comes back on and tells him that date is not available after all. My husband tells her to just have the guy deliver it today and he would do what he had to do to be there as close to 11:00 as he could be. She said she couldn't do that because he had turned around and went to a different destination, and couldn't come to our house today at all. All of this took place in a 30-45 minute time frame! My husband asked for our money back, and was told it would be credited to our card in 7-10 business days. I called the guy we bought it from and he was very upset at the level of customer service we had received and promised to talk to his supervisor and the home office about it. He couldn't even find our order in the computer because customer service had already deleted it in the five minutes it took me to call him after my husband spoke to them.

    For the amount of money we paid for this bed, and the up-charge we had to pay to have it delivered because of the distance we live from their distribution center, you would think these people would be a little more accommodating! Not at all! I've never received customer service this poor from any other company I've dealt with. I'm very disappointed because we really were looking forward to being able to get a good night's sleep for a change!

    I’ve been thinking about Sleep Number for 15 years. Finally, I had back surgery so it was an investment on my back. I pulled the trigger and I wish I'd done it way sooner. I’m in menopause, going through the hot flashes and everything. The mattress pad doesn’t really stay cool, but it protects the bed and keeps it from getting soiled. So for that, I’m grateful. I could just take that off, pop it in the washing machine, wash it and put it back on. Their sales reps are awesome. We went in there the other day to talk about some other pillows, and they’re very enlightening, knowledgeable and polite. They don’t push but they’re very attentive, which makes a difference.     Sleep Number had a home and garden show out in California and my wife and I weighed on it. My wife and I both liked it so we got ourselves the product. The sales professionals were really good but we had a hard time with the delivery people, about them changing our delivery date. The night before, they were supposed to delivery it but they want to put us out another two weeks because somebody called in sick. I called up our sales rep and he went to bat for us and they came two days later. So everything was good except for the delivery guy. They really bothered me. The quality of Sleep Number is great. They're getting top-dollar for it though. It's a good product but it's too expensive.

    I had two hip replacements and I thought a Sleep Number bed would be better for me. Their sales guys were nice but the bed that I tried was way too expensive so I said I wasn't paying that much for a bed. They came down to about $700 for the plain mattress and the bed so I got it. I was in the hospital for a while after I got the bed. I keep changing it to see what I like. It’s nice to change it when I want it softer or make it a little harder. I’d recommend Sleep Number to somebody though it’s a lot of money to pay for a mattress.

    We needed a new bed and felt like Sleep Number would be a good one because my wife likes soft and I like firm. For the most part, I like the bed. However, I don't like the base all that much because it's bigger than a king size bed. I thought maybe it was just my bed but then I got measurements on it and it's literally an inch too big on each side and can see it compared to the mattress. I can't put on the cover that comes on the base to help keep the mattress still because I have the side rails. It's that too thick and every time I sit, it slides on that hard plastic base. It's the only thing I don't like. Also, the remote control doesn't seem to read properly over time. When we adjust it, it goes a little crazy sometimes. But I’d still recommend Sleep Number.

    I got a mattress, some sheets, and several of the different pillows from Sleep Number. The sales reps were all polite but the delivery guys were a little bit aggravated with me. I expected that though. I was in the middle of renovations, so they couldn’t set up in my room. They were going to just leave it there but I thought it was difficult so I went ahead and have them set it up in my living room. One thing though - I tend to have to put all the air into my mattress every couple of days. It leaks out and I don't know if that's normal.

    My husband and I had our bed for a long time but we could not make a decision because we have two different sleeping styles. We thought that Sleep Number might be an answer to what we needed. My husband had been in apartment, on a job he was on for so much, sleeping on that​ type of mattress and he enjoyed it. So, Sleep Number is perfect and exactly what we needed. When I wake up in the morning and I'm rested, that’s about as good as it gets. I could not ask for anything better.

    The salesperson was great and the delivery guys were awesome. There was a conflict with our base being delivered as the same time with the mattress so they had to come twice. They brought the mattress first, set it up on the box springs that we had and then in a week, they came back and brought the base and had to redo everything. In both times, they were very professional, clean and they took care of everything. We have recommended them to several friends.

    It was time for a new bed, so we figured we’d try Sleep Number out. My wife says it seems a little more comfortable to her, but to me, it’s just a bed. I personally think I felt better on the other bed. She likes the Sleep Number bed so that’s why we kept it. I would have probably returned it because a regular mattress seemed to do the same thing.     We had a couple of family members that had bought those Sleep Number beds and liked them and we thought we'd try it. I've been having trouble finding one that I could use that was comfortable and so we switched a couple of different times and wasn't happy. We didn't have the flexibility to go to a different range for one side of the bed versus the other side, and my wife and I don't like the same hardness level.

    The salespeople at Sleep Number were helpful and took care of everything. We bought the base and mattress and we had them delivered here and then I set it up. We got it a little earlier than we thought we would. We have the products for three months now and it's good. I like it softer. If I get a bed that's too hard my hip hurts so I got to have something soft. So I've been going down with my side and my wife likes hers hard so she's up higher numbers, but it's good. I would recommend it to someone else.

    It’s been pretty good that I had a Sleep Number for 10 years or more. However, the new one has different controls than some of the ones that I got. And because I’m old, it confuses me. I’m a disabled veteran. I got concussion brain damage so my memory and my coordination leave a lot to be desired. So I wish I could have the original controls on the new mattress. Otherwise, it’s fine. I have issues with my esophagus so I have to sleep on an angle. It’s very important not to impinge my esophagus because I can get in big trouble. Overall, it’s perfect. I’m very happy and satisfied with it.

    We were looking to replace some bedding and being a Consumer Reports member, we looked through their information and Sleep Number was one of the option that was recommended. So, we went and looked at it and we’re happy with what we found and that’s what we ordered. We bought the king size bed. But it’s two separate twin beds that are mechanical for both the head and feet. And there’s the heating and cooling blankets too that they have for those beds and they work very well. Their sales rep was very courteous, pleasant and informative and wasn’t pressuring us to do anything, just giving us the opportunity to ask questions about the product, test them, and make a decision about what we wanted.     Consumer Reports magazine recommended Sleep Number and I eventually found out it's a good product. I haven't seen anything about it that's inferior. I wanted an air mattress and I have known about Sleep Number for a long time so it seemed like a good idea to get one. A salesperson of theirs was very helpful and easy to work with. The bed was delivered to my door and I got it out of the boxes on my own. I would have preferred that the delivery team, instead of leaving the box at the door, had rung the doorbell and then helped me get the huge box inside because I'm 82. I struggled with it but I got it in and took care of everything by myself.

    I'm not sure if they sent me the correct parts since the tag on the mattress that I received was for Select Comfort while the instruction book that I got was for Sleep Number. The book said to make sure that there were corner locks for the full-size bed but there was none, and it didn't have squared off foam walls. Part of what I wanted in their mattress is its firmness, but I plan to call Sleep Number to see if it's something I should be concerned about because I can sleep, but I don't know whether I got the right parts. The foam pieces could have been made for queen size rather than a full size. I would recommend them especially if they can get this issue about the parts straightened out.

They were in and out in a very short period of time and did a very good job. I gave them a hard time about those booties they were wearing but they put up with me so everything's good.     I was tired of not getting a good sleep. My wife and I went in several months ago, looked the bed over and that's how I identified the salesperson I wanted to work with. When the money was in the bank, I went back and said, "I wanted to get this bed and I wanted to talk to this person to make it happen." Everybody was very cordial and very helpful, and I'm pleased with the results. However, it would've been nice if the salesperson had said something about health because I do have some health issues. My chiropractor said that he could have issued me a prescription to go with the bed. There's some medical benefits of it that I felt should have been included in the discussion and we should have explored that we did not. Nonetheless, I've been satisfied with the bed and I would definitely recommend Sleep Number.

    I decided to buy a bed and base mattress from Sleep Number due to back problems and, so far, it's working pretty good. The sales professional was really great and nice. She explained everything to me and let me lay on the bed. One thing I dislike about the bed is its plastic bottom, the box - lets the mattress slide around. Other than that, it's been great and I really like it. It was a great buying experience. They weren't pushy and just let me decide myself what the product was.

    My boyfriend had a Sleep Number previously so we bought mine together. We bought the mattress, the base, the mattress pad topper and the waterproof mattress pad cover. Then he bought the contour neck pillow and I bought the classic basic pillows. We had a great sales rep named William and he was really patient with us. We were in the store for an hour trying the different beds, and he told us about adjusting it down to 30 and building back up. And he talked to us again about the mattress pad. No pressure on anything.

    We ended up with the limited edition king sized bed and we didn't opt for any of the base that moves up and down or the app. But he told us if we didn't like the bed, we could exchange it for something else after a hundred days. He explained a lot about the benefits that Sleep Number offers that we wouldn't have known about otherwise, and he made us feel even more confident in our purchase. He was real helpful in telling us that it was gonna have a weird smell to it and to let the air out and put dryer sheets on top of it. We did exactly that and it worked.

    We scheduled for home delivery and that was really helpful too because we had to change it a couple of times due to conflicts that came up last minute with our work schedule. But everybody from Sleep Number worked well. We got home and we adjusted the bed, and it's probably the fastest adjustment I've ever had to a bed. I feel really good about it and I've recommended it to people who were looking for a bed. So it's definitely not something that I regret, and having slept on a couple of hotel beds, I'm always happy to come home to my bed.

    I saw a Sleep Number at my local shopping mall. I walked in the store, laid down and fell in love with the bed. I have tax returned so I decided to splurge and get one because I have an eight-year-old bed and it has a dip in it when it is slept on. It was so uncomfortable that I wake up hurting more than I was before. I dealt with a couple of sales reps and I like the first girl I talked to. She was very informative. The guy who was there when I actually got the bed was able to get me taken care of quickly and could answer any questions because he and his son had their own Sleep Number so he knew what to do. I didn't have the money for the base part so he told me where I could go to get a good and cheaper alternative.

    The guys who came to deliver the bed were quick. One was training the other guy so he walked him through the whole process. He did the same for me and made sure that I was satisfied before they left and took my old mattresses because I didn't have a truck. The bed works great. I found my sleep number and I love it! I'm very satisfied and would definitely recommend Sleep Number. My boss wanted me to tell him how I liked it because he might buy one and I told him he definitely should. I am probably going to look into getting some pillows and bedding.

    Sleep Number is a great bed and I wish I would’ve bought one sooner. My back was bothering me so we decided to purchase the bed. Some days when my back is hurting or I'm feeling a little sore, I can make the bed hard or soft. I can’t do that with another mattress, not even the Tempur-Pedic. I tried those and they don’t even give me that option. My Sleep Number also doesn’t feel like an air mattress, but like a real one. Their sales reps were really nice and weren’t pushy.     I have a bad back so I purchased a Sleep Number. I told the sales rep I want the bed as that in the store and she said that I'll get everything. When it showed up, it was just the mattress, which I was pretty pissed off about. I didn’t have the box that goes underneath the bed. I thought I bought it and I didn't plan to put my bed on the floor. But that’s all I paid for and so I didn't bother getting in touch with them. But, their delivery crew was real great.     I inquired with Sleep Number to get a price. I was in no real hurry to place the order because we were in the middle of remodeling our house, but the salesperson was kind of pushy. So I got a q12 bed and the base even if it was a little more money than I wanted to spend. The sales representative was very helpful and there was no pressure during the purchase. The two guys who delivered the bed to my home did a really nice job. The bed was of good grade and very comfortable. I get good sleep and I have no complaints at all.

    I couldn't be happier with my experience at Sleep Number bc of my salesman. He was knowledgeable, professional & more importantly cared about my happiness & not the money he will make. You are lucky to have him! He is what salespeople should strive to be like. I did my research & knew what I wanted. He brought me to it. Showed me how it worked and found my number. He never pushed a more expensive bed. Never even mentioned it. He asked me if I would be interested in any accessories & I said no and that was it. He broke down my bill for me and explained it. He spoke about his family and was down to earth. I brought my friend with me. She is disabled and fighting for disability. He knew she wasn't ready to buy but treated her like a human. Did not see her as a waste of his time. He answered all her questions and showed her beds and found her number.

    She is actually the reason I wanted a SN bed. Both of us have health issues. She had to retire early bc of them. I am too young to retire and live in pain everyday. I rotate between the bed and couch for a change bc my back gets too used to mattresses. When she retired she was going to take her money and but one. However she used her money to help her sons. They have mental health disabilities and were struggling financially. When she gets her disability she plans on finally buying one.

    Back to my salesman... he seriously is awesome. Not pushy and was extremely helpful. He even gave amazing advice on saving money and how to use automated bill pay. You are very lucky to have him! I have purchased a lot of beds... mattresses... THINGS... that required a salesperson and he is the seriously the greatest salesperson that has ever helped me. Anyone in sales should strive to be like him. He was down to earth. Spoke about his family. Gave terrific advice. Was helpful, knowledgeable and respectful. He was not pushy and showed me just what I wanted to see. I hope my SN bed is all I expect it to be. Thank you.

    I already have a Sleep Number bed but we recently got one for my husband. We only got the mattress because we have an adjustable base. I called ahead because I did not want to encounter the man that I had seen in their store before, and the woman who helped me during the purchase was superb. It was a great experience.
