    We had the desire to upgrade to a larger bed. Some friends recommended Sleep Number and Tempur-Pedic. We took a look at both and my wife chose Sleep Number. We bought a mattress and the split king adjustable base. The adjustable base is a real distinguishing feature and it's a big selling point. We're very happy with our purchase and we're enjoying the SleepIQ technology. That's been pretty neat.

    It was time for a new bed. We did some research and we liked the Sleep Number components. Our sales rep was helpful, very hands-on, and always available to us. He let us make our decision and answered any of the questions we had about the bed. We scheduled a home delivery and they told us it would be about four to six weeks for us to get the bed. It was here in three weeks, sooner than we thought. It took the delivery team longer to unpack it than it did for them to put it together. It was great.

    The only problem we have is the remote control. If you move, it pops on so it bleeds batteries. But other than that, we’ve been happy. We like the fact that we can unzip the bed. Additionally, if there’s a component that falls apart, it’s easy to call the company for not a lot of money, get that piece shipped out, and you’re back in business. I would recommend Sleep Number in a heartbeat. If we had to get another bed, we’d do it again.

    My in-laws had Sleep Number and said it was wonderful. We purchased the mattress, mattress pad and pillows, and the only area where we had an issue was during delivery. My husband and I both work and my husband told delivery that he could only be at a certain time in the morning. They said they understood and would be here, but they didn't come in time. We had our neighbor who said that she could let them in and with that setup, it still didn't happen and our neighbor had to leave. Delivery came extremely late and when they came, our neighbor was on her way out. She was able to let them leave everything in our garage and that meant we had to put everything together.

    My husband is a very intelligent man but when he was putting the bed together, he said he now understands why they are called technicians. When you're not used to doing something, you have to really read the directions and go through every little thing. It's just frustrating especially when it's something that we paid to have done. The bed is good but I was hoping the mattress would've been a little bit thicker. It looks really low on our bed.

    I did a research and Sleep Number and Tempur-Pedic were the top two selling beds for support with sleeping on backs. Between the two, Sleep Number had more options. I like the adjustable feature that they had on raising the feet and the head of the bed, as well as separation so I bought from them. We got the split flex top so we also have to buy the comforter, sheets, and pillows from them. We also got the adjustable base and the mattress. The sales professionals were very good and the delivery team came in, got the work and there were no problems. I love the quality of what we bought and I've already recommended them.

    People who had Sleep Number said how much they liked it. Initially, my husband was dead set against spending too much money on a mattress but ten years later, after three mattresses that we weren't happy with, we decided to take the plunge. We started with the $700 to $900 items but he liked the no interest financing. So, he was okay to upgrade and went above and beyond what we were anticipating. We purchased the California King split mattress and the base. However, we didn't like one of their sales rep because she was pushy. We went to a different store and liked the ones there and bought it from them. Their delivery team were fantastic. We finally found a mattress that we like. Unfortunately, we only got one set of sheets because they are very expensive. I would like to have at least 2-3 sets of sheets but we just can't afford it. They have a sale sometimes and I missed the one sale, but I'm waiting for another one.

    In regards to the order, initially your website was not working properly so that I could not get my four percent back from E-Bates. It has been over a week and there is no shipping information to be had. I dealt with an agent on chat support today named Alia. She was courteous and was helpful as she could be given the circumstance. However, the hold time was ridiculously long to chat with someone. I have had neck surgery and need this pillow soon. At this point in time I am not sure I would highly recommend Sleep Number to my friends due to slow response time. This to deliver a bed is one thing, but to stick a pillow on a UPS delivery is very long.

    We love our Sleep Number bed. Prior to it, we bought a bed from Ashley and within two months, the mattress was getting lumpy. Then one day, my husband and I stopped at a Sleep Number store to see what they have, and their rep showed us different beds. The night they came and put it all up, we slept pretty well. In fact, my husband has been sick but now, he's able to get in and out of our Sleep Number bed. The other one we had was too high. We are perfectly happy with our Sleep Number, although I wish we could have gotten the bigger one where we would have our remote because I like mine up and my husband likes his side down.     My old bed was making my wife mad so I did a whole bunch of research to find out what bed would work for both of us. I chose the Sleep Number bed mattress with the hardened plastic frame underneath. The sales person was pleasant to talk to and very informative.     I have had a Sleep Number for a very long time and was excited when my husband and I decided to get a new one. We went to the store and had an awesome experience. We were initially told it would be two weeks before we got our mattress and we were pleasantly surprised when the delivery date and time was set for a week sooner than we thought. About one business day before the delivery date we got a call saying that the delivery time would not be at a time when either of us would be available. We were then told that our only option was to move the delivery date to almost a week away. I was told that there was nothing anyone could do to help. I am currently nine months pregnant and have moved into a new house and will now have to sleep on the floor. As a customer who spent a considerable amount of money on this mattress I would expect to be treated better.

    Our Sleep Number bed is less than 4 years old, actually to be exact it is 3 years and 4 months old. The air chamber on my wife's side will not hold air. So I called Sleep Number to get this taken care of, thinking a bed less than 4 years old would certainly be covered under warranty. Come to find out Sleep Number will only cover a portion of this now useless bed I own (3-year lifespan). They want me to cover the remaining portion along with shipping, and then they would like me to send the failed pool float back to them so they can study what went wrong. How about this... from a company that claims they care about the quality of sleep, try not to ship your quasi-warrantied replacement parts with 7 to 14 days shipping. This has been the last issue that we have experienced with Sleep Number. After a number of poor quality issues let me just say this will be that last Sleep Number I will ever own!

    My bed is 19 years old! A week ago, when the motor finally gave out, I called you folks for help. I really expected someone to say "Lady give it up, it's 19 years old", but you didn't. You looked up my very old order, found me a replacement motor with 2 new remotes, and rush shipped it all to me. It's wonderful! It works like new [actually better than new]. The motor is so quiet.     The salesperson was really good. Spent quite of time assisting us through process of learning about the feature of Sleep Number beds. We ended up buying a bed and thought the sales process was good however we never received the email to register our purchased SleepIQ. Upon delivery of the CSE bed and flex fit 2 bed and full installation by the company I soon realized that the installers had installed the airlines to the wrong sides of the bed and put one of the roots of the bed frame through my HVAC vent.

    I'm sure these were honest mistakes but it's frustrating when you pay $180 for shipping and delivery and then I have to fix the installer's mistakes. So once finally getting the same side to adjust in Sleep Number as the side that moves head and feet up and down, I proceed to try to access the SleepIQ function on my remotes and it says the network is down. After some research I discover that this problem is due to my SleepIQ not being registered yet.

    I proceed to the internet registration page and receive an error message that either my order number or email is wrong. I then get online and chat to a representative that sends me the link that I already had and then have to get on and chat with another representative. The second rep did an excellent job of fixing what was wrong on my account and sent me link to fully setup my SleepIQ.

    We got the first Sleep Number bed for comfort and to be able to sleep really well. When it was eight years old, we decided to get another one which is a king with the split bed. We got the mattress, base, sheets and mattress protector. A year after that, our daughter was sleeping on our bed nonstop and she decided to buy her own. Everything was fantastic at all times with the sales guys. The bed was home delivered and their staff set it up for us. They were on time and very courteous.     My son and daughter-in-law have the Sleep Number, and they highly recommended it when I needed a new mattress. I felt that having the ability to control the adjustments myself was important and Sleep Number had a big sale on, so it was time to get off the pot. I went online and purchased a queen size. The delivery team then came and set it up. My experience has mostly been good, but I’m not happy about the fact that the dual control wasn't explained a little more in detail especially in terms of the selection.

    I was asked whether I wanted one or two controls, and I thought that here was no difference, so I got two. That hasn’t worked out as well as I would like because I sleep in the bed by myself. I was given a choice without the understanding that it was two separate sections to the bed. So, I use the left side as a priority for my ¬¬control and the right side has been set. However, the control for the Sleep Number keeps reverting back to the right side and I don't know why it does that. I tried to program it out of the control and it did work for a short period of time, but it's reverted back to doing that again.

    Other than that, I’ve had some really good results and am pretty happy with the bed. It has improved my back. I find it very comfortable to be able to have the various adjustments because when I’m on my back when I first go to sleep, I like it really soft. And when I decide that I want to go over and lie on my right side, I need more support and I can change it to get that support. I like that part very much. I just hope that the controls hold out.

    My husband's daughter had gotten a Sleep Number bed two years ago and she loved her bed. We've also always wanted one. We had been looking at them and finally decided to get one. Our backs were hurting and we're trying to relieve some of that. The bed does help and my husband loves it. It's really nice and comfortable. The only thing I don't like about it is it has a frame that goes around and the inside where the mattresses are will smooth over towards one side and they don't stay in place. Also, I had problems with the first order of sheets that we had. But they corrected them and sent another sheet and I sent the other one back.     It was time to buy a new bed and we had determined years ago that Sleep Number would be the bed to buy when it was time. My dad and my uncles all have Sleep Number and they recommend it. The sales rep was fantastic. When we first went in, she walked us through all the different things. As Sleep Number came out with different products, she would call or email and tell me what the latest update was. After the purchase, she followed up a couple of times to make sure everything was delivered all right and that it was what we were expecting.

    Customer service was helpful. They sent me an email with troubleshooting instructions which I will try. As for the bed, we bought it a year ago from QVC. I don't think it ever got fully firm.     I visited the Sleep Number store to review the temperature balancing layer. I have been talking to my husband about us getting a new bed as he constantly complains about backaches. I recommended the Sleep Number bed based on information I researched online. His response was that they are too expensive. I explained to him that you get what you pay for and I outlined the importance of a good night's sleep and the benefits it would have on his back. He was not sold until we actually went into the store at the Mall of Georgia. I first have to say that the Customer service was EXCELLENT!! (Sorry about the full caps, I wasn't trying to shout.) The Store Attendant/Sales Representative was very informed on the product and spoke on his own personal experience and was extremely welcoming and relateable. I felt like I was corresponding with a friend. I know I am dwelling on this matter but customer service means a lot to me.

We reviewed the thermal layer which we found out we need to suit our very different temperate needs at bedtime. Not only that but my husband after trying out the Sleep IQ bed realized that this is a product we need in our lives. Needless to say, we agreed on this investment as according to him "The monthly payment on the product is cheaper than our cable bill." We left the store talking about how great the bed is and have had multiple conversations on the bed since leaving the store about 4 hours ago. Great product!!!     We had our Sleep Number bed delivered in the boxes and the installation was not difficult. The quality of their bed was good. I feel like having a better support and it's comfortable. However, the pipe that connects the mattress with the pump makes it harder to put sheets on it or some mattress pad. It would need to tighten on the bottom side because the pipe is in the way. If the location of the pipe were moved to the bottom and not on the edge, it would be easier. Right now I have to leave a gap between the sheet of mattress pad. It’s not that tight so the mattress pad and the sheet is smoothed easily than it’s supposed to be. Overall, I’m very satisfied.

    I love the Sleep Number bed but I wouldn't purchase another one again. I told someone the last time when I was in the showroom that they had a very strong foundation. However, when I got possession of the bed, it had plastic legs and I'm not happy with them because I don't like plastic. Plus, I'm a big man and I put a very expensive wood flooring. The wood is very slippery, and when I lean up against the bed, it slides along the floor. It's not good and I have fallen a couple of times. So on that note, I'm not happy with the legs of the bed because it's not stable. There's got to be something better as far as what it's sitting on because a stable foundation is essential to me in a bed. When you spend that much money for something and it has plastic legs, that's a poor design. But when laying on the bed, I'm very happy. For someone my size it's still very comfortable. I haven't been able to sleep in a bed for a very, very long time and now I can.

    We got a mattress and an adjustable frame from Sleep Number. We got the California King, which made us have our own little twin beds but they're together. Their sales guy was good and didn't have to push the product very much because it sold itself. There was a little bit more of a lax attitude which was okay. The delivery was awesome. Their guys did a great job of putting everything together and I was amazed at what they had to do. They had it down pat. The quality's good too, but I’m not exactly sure that the controls are perfect because sometimes when I put it on 80, it stops on 90. I don’t like that it decides to do its own thing. Otherwise, it’s a fine bed especially after having had regular beds.

    I couldn't be more pleased with the customer service I had today. Our "well beloved" Sleep Number bed was purchased in 2004, and we'd NEVER buy anything but a Sleep Number bed in the future. Last night, one of the navy blue bed frame remotes did not respond. It was too late to try to figure out how to fix it, so today I called the phone number on your site. I spoke to a very nice woman, who began to tell me what I could try that would fix the problem when I had to interrupt her to take an important phone call. I had to rush off, and by the time I returned home it was too late to call your live customer service.

    However, I spotted the "chat" option, and spoke to "Adrian" who was very helpful, and pleasant. I was able to print out the instructions he suggested and will try shortly to see if I can fix the problem.     Bought the top of the line bed (4K at the time), and after a few years the mattress came apart at the seam and the foam torn at the seam split. I call Sleep Number because of the 25year warranty and then they told me it will cost me $800.00 for replacements (which we can't afford). We're talking about foam piece that should cost about $30 and new mattress cover about $150. So we are left with sleeping with one side of the bed with an open wound for several years.     My son and his wife have had a Sleep Number for a number of years so I decided to give it a try. I went to the Sleep Number store in Augusta, Georgia at the Augusta Mall. I purchased mine and a new one for my son and his wife who live in Maryland, and both of the purchases and deliveries were as agreed. Everyone was great. The delivery team had the bed set up in no time at all. They gave me an overview on operating the whole system and were gone in an hour and a half. The service from start to finish was excellent.     We were having trouble with our backs and we were sure it was our mattress. Then we saw the advertisements of Sleep Number so we wanted to give it a try. There was one girl that waited on us and she was very nice and helpful. The delivery team was good and very nice too. However, we only got the mattress and we didn't realize that we should have bought the base. The girl told us that our original box spring wouldn't work with it so we took them out and when the guy set it up, he said that original box springs would have worked. But we had already set it out in the garage and they disposed of it. So, that might have been a little more helpful had we known because it was our understanding that we could not use that box spring underneath it. But we're very satisfied with the Sleep Number and it's been great.

    I'm doing really well with my Sleep Number bed. I feel very good about it. Back in April when I went to their store, there was a female associate and her personality turned me off. She talked way too fast and they were having problems with the floor demonstration of the bed that I wanted. Somehow the pump wasn’t pumping air like it's supposed to and it just turned out pretty bad. I went back a month later and was waited on by a gentleman who was much better. Their delivery team did very well too. However, the sales associate should have told me that I needed a surge protector for the bed to plug in. Luckily, I had one in my home that I wasn’t using for anything else.

    I have been having more and more back problems since I've gotten older and my old mattress was killing me. We got the bedding and mattress from Sleep Number to improve our sleep mostly and have the bed for three months. Since we got it, it has absolutely improved my back although it hasn't fixed it. Their sales people were really nice, helpful and they gave us a lot of information. At first, we were not approved until we were bummed out.     While in the store on June 3rd my wife and I selected a Friday 6-17-15 afternoon 12-4 delivery date and time which was written on the delivery confirmation form by the store associate Sheri. I took a vacation day to be available. I did not receive a call 48 hours prior to delivery but did not think anything of it. Friday the 17th comes and still had not heard anything by 1 p.m. so I started calling.

    I started with the store and talked to Rich at the Coon Rapids Riverdale store who looked up my date and said it was for the 22nd but if would like to reschedule to call the Customer Service. Talk to Customer Service and they confirmed I was on the 22nd of June delivery date. I ask if they could do anything to have it deliver on the 17th the scheduled day and I was told no. Then I said I could take it on the 22nd but it will have to be after 6 p.m. and I was told that will work for late delivery 4-8 p.m. on the 22nd.

    I then proceed to call back to the store and talk to Sheri the associate to figure out what happened. She told me she would look into it but there is not much she can do. An hour passes and I receive another call from Customer Service apologizing because the 22nd they have me schedule for a 8- 12 time block, and asked if that will work. "No, that will not work!" So now I am scheduled for the 29th of June for a 4-8 delivery time.

    For a large company to not have a expedite truck is crazy. My mattress will be 12 days late on delivery and I used a vacation day for nothing. All Customer Service could do was knock the delivery charge off and offer free sheets. I got a better idea: How about they knock off $100 per day the bed is late in addition to no delivery fee? Maybe then everyone involve could figure out. Worst customer service I have ever received especially for a $3,500 mattress. I have not even got the mattress yet and I do not like it. I already know you will block this from your website. Very annoyed customer.

    Purchasing a Sleep Number bed has been the worse experience of my life. The people that installed the bed stole from us. We reported it to the police and the Sleep Number people would not call the police back. They did not send us the correct equipment and it took about twenty phone calls to get it corrected. Our power went off last night and our Sleep Number bed stopped working. They cannot figure out why and the bed was in the upright position when the power went off so we have nothing to sleep on. The only thing they could say is they could send us a new box that could take 10 days. Where are we supposed to sleep for 10 days? Are they going to pay for a hotel? I would never purchase a Sleep Number bed again. We have only owned it 5 months. I wish I could turn it back in.

    My bed was uncomfortable, and I thought I’d give Sleep Number a try and purchased the Sleep IQ mattress. The sales rep at their showroom was knowledgeable. However, I expected that the bed would make me feel like melting into it. It doesn’t, and I’ve tried different settings. What I find strange about it is it feels like I'm sleeping on an air mattress on the floor, which is essentially what it really is. It has that feel to it as opposed to a nice, soft mattress. But I don’t wake up with sore hips anymore so there’s been some benefits to it.

    I was unable to complete my order by phone and wanting to make use of my bed ASAP. I tried online chat which resolved my issue efficiently.     The i10 Split King got delivered and installed and Sleep Number did a great job putting it in. Plus, the sales professional was really good. However, the bed is overpriced and a little bit of a letdown - I fell for something that was a lot more expensive than what I got. Moreover, it's overrated. If I had to do the purchase over again, I would buy a $2000 or $3000 really nice mattress like a Beautyrest. I bought a house in West Palm Beach, and I'm getting ready to buy four beds right now, and I would never spend the kind of money that we spent on the i10 because we were trying to get the best bed we could for a good night's sleep. Although the i10 is comfortable, it's like sleeping on an air mattress with a pad on top - there's not a whole lot to it for a 10 grand, it was a rip-off. The product is way over-fluffed. It's a scam to me.

    I bought a mattress and a base from Sleep Number that cost me $2,200. The young lady from there was very nice, very knowledgeable, and very attractive. She did a good job. Dealing with her was very satisfactory. The only problem was she indicated that the mattress cover had the capability to change temperatures with the body. When the body temperature is up, one is supposed to be able to get a sense of coolness about the mattress cover and then gradually it'd warm if the body temperature cools down. They are in sync with each other. I was led to believe that was part of the package that I purchased but I have not physically experienced it so I don't believe that. I don't know if I got what I paid for or not and I'm questioning the cover. Other than that, the delivery was excellent and I'm very satisfied with the bed. I can change the number on the bed as required and I sleep very comfortably on it.

    I purchased a Sleep Number mattress around President's Day at a big sale and their reps were really good. I set it up myself. I like its quality a lot and its versatility. However, there was a real confusion factor on which side of the mattress plug-in goes to what port on the pump. I ended up having to call and the guy told me the wrong thing. I started pumping it up from what he said and it was the wrong side. He was all confused too. The book claims they did label it, but I'd seen no labeling as far as left and right. It's very confusing but that's the only issue with the whole thing.

    My husband was a little disappointed with our Sleep Number bed. He's used to some memory foam so he had trouble adjusting. We probably should’ve bought something with a little more foam on top. Also, my side makes a terrible racket. I can’t use the bed during the night because there’s a clicking noise going up and down that we are very disappointed in. We can’t figure out what’s doing it. It comes and goes even. Other than that, the time when I bought the items from Sleep Number to the time they were delivered was fine.

    My back is giving me problems. I had an operation and I needed a bed to be interchangeably softer or harder. I'll be going from a futon to my bed and vice versa day-to-day. I want something that I would be more comfortable with than laying on a hard surface. The sales rep got me to buy a Sleep Number and she was very helpful. They came and installed the bed. Very nice output.

    The remote control sucks, though. It's 2016 and the control is like it was made in the 80's. I ended up putting the app on my phone. I have to mess around with the phone instead of the remote, but I put the serial number for the bed into the app and it doesn't work. Also, the remote control falls off the bed. It cracks up. I couldn't put it back together. It still works right now, but it is really crappy for the style of bed. In addition, I was thinking about buying the pillows, but every single one of them was overpriced. Other than that, I'm very satisfied and I'll recommend Sleep Number.

    Sleep Number is a great bed. It definitely reduces back pain. My brother has one and he said it was the best thing he ever bought. I purchased the mattress, the box and pillows. We met with the manager at Garden State, New Jersey and he was very knowledgeable, direct, and honest. The delivery guy was very quick and efficient. I'd like them to lower their prices, though. Also, my side of the bed is a little lopsided but we can fix that. We're going to take it apart and put it back together. But it's definitely way better than the other mattress we had.

    We've been looking for a mattress that was comfortable because the aches and the pains are really kicking in. It had been a while since we purchased a nice mattress. I got my Sleep Number in a spring show where I had a good experience with the sales rep, and tried the product myself. I laid down on it and the lady came over and helped me and I was sold. I had ridden a bus for three and a half hours and my back was already starting to hurt. And when I got up, I told the rep, "Lord, this feels better than a margarita." Although there were a couple of things wherein that the first rep was gonna charge me for and the other rep caught it and corrected it and that threw me off. But, at least, it got caught and corrected. In addition, everything worked good with the delivery. The delivery team very professional and they didn't look like thugs and I liked that.

    I bought the Sleep Number bed for the long term. I was looking for a bed that I hoped wouldn’t wear out after a couple of years. The old mattresses wore out and there had to be duvets and everything in it after you’ve had them for a while. I’m hoping this one doesn’t do that, and it hasn’t so far.     Our old mattress was getting a little bit worn so I got a mattress from Sleep Number. I also got the frame, some pillows, a mattress pad, some sheets, and a blanket. Their reps were helpful for the most part but there are times when things took a long time. They were having computer problems which was a little difficult. There probably needs to be more salespeople on the floor because the store was busy. The only thing I'm disappointed with is the fitted sheet which is really hard to get on. It's very, very tight. It pulls the corners of the mattress up. Other than that, everything was pretty good. It was a very positive experience overall.

    I got the base and mattress from Sleep Number and I like the quality. We also got nice, comfy sheets to go with it so I feel pretty good with it. At one point, we were interested about getting the sheets because the one we had didn't fit. I called a rep about it and he never got back in touch with me. We wound up getting something else. I like the bed but my husband doesn't like it. He wants to get rid of it and go back to his old bed. He can't seem to find his number. When he puts it up in the 50s, he thinks it's too hard. He puts it down into the 20s, it's too low. Sometimes, I have to readjust it when I haven't been in it for a few days. Other than that, the experience was fine and I am satisfied with it.

    I have a Sleep Number king bed since 2002, which I gave to my daughter and then I purchased a Sleep Number queen mattress. I didn't have to go to the store. I ordered it by phone and they got me everything and it was good. The sales person was very nice. They delivered it through UPS and I put it together. I really like my new bed. The other one that we have is still good however hey have to replace the foam part of it that goes right on top of the air mattresses but other than that, it's still good after all of these years. I would never go back to a regular mattress that's why I purchased another Sleep Number.

    The store in Rockland County was very, very nice. I drove them crazy testing everything with my husband. We purchased a bed because of my husband's back and we also looked on Consumer Reports online. I have the king size but two separate mattresses. I like it a lot. I'm glad I made the change because it's better for my husband's back. The problem with regular beds for somebody with a bad back is you twist and turn. Twisting is not good for a bad back. With Sleep Number, based on this movable frame, he sets the position with his head up, like in the snore position. He doesn't turn and he wakes up with his back better. And he likes to sleep on his side and they said this one is the best for sleeping on your side.

    The bed is a little softer than I thought it would be. It's so soft that it's not that you sink in but you don't move around a lot. It's hard. There's a resistance because you sink in, but in a comfortable way. When I changed from 40 to 100, I didn't notice much of a difference. The cushion on the top of the i10 is so soft that it minimizes the change in the firmness. When I slept on one of these mattresses once before they had it set on 80 and it was great. But the best part of the bed is the frame that goes up and down. I like the ability to control the lights and everything. However, it's a little hard to reach over to change the sheets because it's deep and the bed is a little higher than I have wanted it. I'm short. But that's how they had installed it together - at the highest setting. I didn't realize there was an option as to how much off the ground it would be. But aside from that, I'm happy with it.

    Hopefully the bed is better than the customer service. I was given the complete runaround and told by multiple people I would receive a tracking number when my bed was shipped. Well no tracking number was ever sent and after a chat and two phone calls I was told it would be delivered tomorrow. This is after they had a "glitch" that didn't give us the sale discount and thankfully I caught it otherwise we would have been out $500. So far very disappointed with the quality of customer service. Like I said before, if the bed is the same quality as the service it will be terrible. Would not recommend this to family or friends.

    We were scheduled for a June 11th delivery, was confirmed then last minute cancelled by Sleep Number due to the product not reaching the dock on time. They tried to reschedule on a weekday, which does not work for our schedule. They pulled us from the schedule which from what I understand, it automatically schedules you two weeks out. New delivery date was set for June 25th which conflicts with other commitments. Very disappointed with the customer service from the delivery team.     I have to say that Sleep Number has the worst customer service. I ordered the bed on Memorial Day - hoping that it would make it for delivery before 6/18. Not only did Sleep Number input the incorrect delivery information and screw up the first delivery, but they failed to call me to reschedule that delivery. SO - last Thursday, I went into the store and told them I needed the bed to be delivered this coming Friday. They said no problem and that they would call Home Delivery to take care of the problem. Today I get a call saying the truck is on the way and they can't find my new apartment. WTF!!! Now they're telling me the next delivery date - because I missed my appointment, is now June 22nd. I'm canceling the whole order due to the ineptitude of your store employees, home delivery employees, and lack of customer service.

    We needed a new mattress and saw that Sleep Number had a sale going on. The salesman at the store was great. He walked us through the whole thing, and gave us time. We got mattress, the base, the plastic box-spring and then pillows. When the delivery team came in they got everything assembled quickly and they gave the boxes to my kid to play with.     I wouldn't have thought it would be so difficult to give someone 6K! I cannot really comment on the quality. So the product since after waiting over 2 months I still have not received the bed and I guess I will have to be returning the other things. I have to say that I would not recommend Sleep Number for anyone else. It seems other reviews have made customer service complaints which should be one of the easier things in sales. To spend that much money and to be treated like you don't really matter is atrocious.

    I had to reschedule my original delivery date as I had an emergency health appointment. I was hoping instead of in the morning, as planned, I could get it in the afternoon. No, the closest they could come was 4 weeks later. This made my wife want to cancel and she called to do so, but after getting an explanation decided not to. The explanation is that they don't have warehousing so they will sell our bed to whomever is next in line and have to make us a new one. That doesn't sit well with us, but it was partially our fault so we accepted it.

    Then, our 2nd delivery date had to be pushed back. After I made arrangements to be home at a certain time (3p - 7p) for the delivery of the bed the call came to tell us delivery would be (9a - 1p). My wife called to explain we could not make that time and wanted to know why they changed the appointment time. The explanation was given the earlier time would be the only time they would be in the area. What's the point of making an appointment if you're just going to change it? That's a huge hassle.

    It was a good thing she called though, as then we found the headboard was not on the delivery because we did not order legs. Why wouldn't we get the legs originally with the bed? This is also when we found out that the Sleep Number folks would not move our existing bed as we were explained they would in the store. So now we have to wait 2 more weeks so we can get legs. Why is only 2 and not 4 this time I don't know. Maybe their excuse earlier was not honest?

    We scheduled a Saturday that should work. We get a call on Thursday saying delivery would be from 9a-1p. Great! Maybe we get a great product, like we signed up for, and can put the crappy customer service behind us. Friday night we moved two beds around to prepare for delivery of the new bed. Saturday morning we get a call saying the entire route of shipments is missing! How does this happen in 2016? I don't know if the truck is missing or if it was misplaced in a warehouse? With GPS and RFID tags this seems unfathomable to me how they can misplace 10-20 grand of product. So I will not reschedule and waste more of my time for a product that could be delivered who knows when? 4 more weeks? Now, I have to waste even more of my time to move the old beds back.

    On the call to cancel, the representative informed me that the supervisor may be able to locate it today or Monday or who knows when and reschedule then. when I told him I wanted to cancel he somewhat laughed and said he wasn't sure what happened. Well I am not laughing. For 6 thousand dollars this is absolutely atrocious. I would only recommend Sleep Number if your time means nothing to you or you have a lot of extra time to waste waiting around for no one to come and get apathetic answers when cancelling. They thanked me for cancelling!

    We had another very expensive bed that we thought was going to last forever and it didn't. We decided to look around for something else and Sleep Number was one of them. We looked at it and we loved it. Their salespeople were very helpful in getting us set. We had a little situation with the lights underneath and they sent a guy out and he put new ones on. Everything's going well so far. Sleep Number is a good bed and we've been enjoying it. We have a half-split. My wife has her side with her pressure and I have mine. She can raise hers and I can raise mine. It seems to work out great and it's a good concept. It's been a good experience all in all.

    We have a Model 5000 which is quite old, but works fine. The side rail foam on my husband's side is broken down. I contacted Customer Service to order a replacement set.     I have been wanting a Sleep Number bed for a long time, plus my old mattress was giving me back problems. I work in a hospital and am on my feet all day. I've also gotten older, so I thought maybe I’d give it a try. I'd also like to see if it helps me relieve some of my acid reflux. Sometimes I have swelling in my lower legs.     We had a Sleep Number bed before for nine years and then it just collapsed. We spent about six months researching and even looked into the so-called organic mattresses which are ridiculously priced. We then went in Southington and as soon as we walked in the door, the place wreaked of chemicals. It was unbelievable. We decided to give Sleep Number another try because we didn't see anything out there that measured up to what we wanted. They improved the technology so hopefully, this will last us many more years. We also subscribed to Consumer Reports magazine which rated them consistently very high and it helped us decide as well.

    We went over to Sleep Number in Westfarms Mall in Farmington, Connecticut and there was a young lady and a guy there who were very helpful and good. They weren't hard sell which matters a lot to us because that's a shut-off. The delivery team was quick, set the bed up and was done in 20 minutes because we didn't get the sleep technology. We've been very satisfied so far with the Sleep Number and I had recommended it to three other friends of mine. Overall, it was a great experience.

    Issue #1: Our bed was supposed to deliver last Thursday (6/2), but did not deliver until Friday (6/3) due to a mechanical failure (no big deal, if this had been an isolated incident). Issue #2: Our pillows were supposed to arrive last Wednesday (6/1), but did not arrive until the following Monday (6/6) because Sleep Number provided UPS with the incorrect delivery address. Issue #3: Despite the store manager confirming that we had ordered legs for the bed, and that those legs would be delivered with the bed, the sales clerk in the store ultimately forgot to add legs to our order. They therefore obviously did not deliver with the bed. Issue #4: I contacted Sleep Number on Friday (6/3) to request the missing legs. I was assured that the legs would deliver on either Monday (6/6) or Tuesday 6/7), and that the installation company would be contacting me on Sunday (6/5) to schedule the installation. As of yesterday (6/7), I still had not heard from anyone.

    I contacted Sleep Number, once again, I was advised that, actually, I should not expect the legs until end of day today (6/8), and that, actually, the installation company isn't supposed to contact me - I am supposed to contact THEM upon receipt of the legs. Total lack of internal cohesion. Issue #5: As of yesterday (6/7), tracking info showed that delivery for the legs was not possible, because, once again, Sleep Number provided UPS with the incorrect address. I tried correcting the address myself, however, all modifications to the shipment must be made by the shipper. Issue #6: After spending 2 hours on the phone with customer service yesterday (a combined 45 minutes of hold time), I was assured by a "supervisor" that he would be contacting UPS to correct the delivery address as soon as we got off of the phone. That was yesterday evening. It is now 3:30 pm EST the following day, and this STILL has not been done.

    The Sleep Number is comfortable, but it is absolutely not worth the time or energy I have spent correcting all of Sleep Numbers' mistakes and internal disorganization. At such a high price point, I would expect a higher level of customer care from this company, and am truly disappointed in the experience I have had thus far.

    Please note that we really tried to exhaust all possible resolutions with the Sleep Number Company before writing this review: BUYER BEWARE!!! Sleep Number beds are overpriced and under quality combined with very poor to non-existent customer service. My husband and I didn't even have the bed a week before we filed our first complaint. The mattress is off the base by a full 4 inches on one side! We both wake up with horrible back and neck aches. We have spent weeks going back and forth with store representatives, supervisors and higher management who treated us and our needs as if they were insignificant.

    Customer service representatives have even filed complaints with corporate against their own store staff who were really trying to help us, claiming the store staff was bothering them with our issues. Even though we have voiced numerous times that the bed apparently was not set up correctly, no service people have been sent to our house. To top it all off, in order to return the bed it will cost us upwards of $700. Just for the "opportunity" of trying out their bed. Does that seem like 100% 'Satisfaction Guaranteed' to you? ?

    When they can't sell their bed, Sleep Number will get you on the fees. You see one has no choice but to utilize their shipping of the product at your expense as there is not a local distribution location they allow you to go to yourself to pick up nor drop off the mattress. That's a $179.99 shipping and set up fee that is a non-refundable expense you are stuck paying. When you return the product you're dissatisfied with, they charge you that same fee again when they come to pick up the return, and add a restocking fee of another $300.00. The bed cost over $4,000.00. You would think at that price you would get a quality product and effective customer service. Unfortunately with Sleep Number you get neither!

    I bought my P6 bed in Jan. of 2013 because of an injury to my back. I believed (hoped) that the advertisements were true so I spent $2500 on this bed hoping it would eliminate my pain while sleeping. I loved the bed initially but now after owning the bed for only three years the mattress cover is worn to the point that it provides no support and my back pain has returned. I called Sleep Number support and was told it was probably the comfort pad under the mattress cover and was sent instructions on how to check it. I was informed that they would replace the pad but that I would have to pay 40% of the cost of the pad for a total of about $160 plus shipping, etc and it might not even solve the problem. This is a company that really believes in and stands behind their product. A $2500 bed warrantied for 25 years and only performs well for 3 years. I don't have the money or the confidence that this bed will not end up costing me more down the road.

    My husband has a lot of health issues and complained about our Tempur-Pedic bed, waking up everyday griping about it until I told him we'd go with Sleep Number. We got the Sleep Number mattress and he's a lot happier and more comfortable. He’s not griping about it and it’s great that I don’t have to listen to that everyday. The Sleep Number products and people were good and the sales professionals were excellent. I know the product lasts a long time – my sister had their Sleep Number beds a long time.

    We're happy with everything other than the delivery. The delivery team were not knowledgeable. I think this is only the third time they'd ever put a bed together. The bed didn't look right when they finished and I know that it goes together in steps. When we were at the Sleep Number store, all the beds looked like all the foam filled out the zipper part. Ours had wrinkles all through it and didn't look full. They said that's the way they come. I said that’s not how it looked in the store and they didn't go over anything or say anything. And one of them had been his first time to do the job so he didn't know anything. I told all that online but nobody got back with me about what went on. I was very upset with them. And I was considering sending it back. But maybe it's supposed to look the way it did and they could explain that to me. Instead, they said, "You want us to take it back?" That was not nice and unprofessional.

    I had back surgery and my sciatic nerve was bothering me so bad I bought a therapeutic mattress at Original Mattress Factory. Everybody tells me how nice they are but I couldn’t sleep on it because it was too hard. And then, my wife mentioned Sleep Number and I was thinking about one too. So we looked online, typed in Sleep Number and found the location. I tried them over there first. As I was trying these mattresses, I was able to adjust them and it felt good I almost fell asleep. My wife’s talking away and I started dozing off and we decided to get it and try it.

    Mattress Factory can’t take their bed back but with Sleep Number, because it comes in pieces, they can take it back if we don't like it and we could try something else. I liked it so I bought one and paid cash for it. However, I don’t like the elastic pad as it gets matted up when it goes down and up. Although this bed doesn’t help the pain as much, I’m able to sleep on it.

    Because of my sciatic nerve, I can’t sit for a very long time and can’t lay flat on the bed but with this mattress, I’m able to lay flat on it for a while by adjusting it to make it softer or firmer depending on the need. I can also bring it up if I’m sinking too low making my butt sore. It was delivered to us and I liked the delivery team. They were good.

    For those looking for a mattress because of ailment, it’s the perfect mattress to adjust towards their back, legs and shoulders. If they’re looking for comfort, it’s the most comfortable mattress that I’ve had in my whole lifetime because it’s hard to find a mattress that adjusts and contours the body. Everybody can adjust it to their own weight. Now, for the past week I’ve been on 45. I needed soft because I’ve been hurting quite a bit. Some days even when I’m hurting, soft might not be it and I have to bring it up to 60 and make it firmer because my butt was too low pressing up against the sciatic nerve. So I had it up to 60 and make it a little firmer. But now I’m back to 45. I’ve had it now for a couple of months and so far, it’s been good.

    My wife likes the bed very soft and I like it firm so we went with Sleep Number. We have two of them, the first one was bought back in 2005. Their sales team was all good but when we did home delivery, it's surprising to me that we had to wait so long. We got the bed and we love it now but we had to wait three weeks. It's a standard product so I don't understand. They must control their inventory cost by not making it until they get the order but in today's world of Amazon, where I can get anything I want in two days, if it were questionable or I didn't have the experience, I wouldn't have waited.

    We went with a classic Sleep Number and the jump from the basic to the next level was gonna be $600 and the only difference was a piece of foam inside the mattress. So I ended up buying the cheap one and went out and bought a piece of foam and stuck it in there. I paid $30 for the piece of foam, so the pricing just really didn't seem to make sense to me. It was like $900 versus $1,400. But I would still recommend them. My wife was sick for a while and she was sleeping in it and she loved it and got better sleep. It's a great product, except that the lead time's too long and they should have better mid-range price.

    The first time I heard about Sleep Number was about six years ago and my boss said that he had one. And when he told me how much it was, I was astonished. I had gone to Sleepy’s and I walked in there for something else, and I had some time to kill. The guy gave me a full tutorial on beds and had me try all the different beds, and I learned about the appreciation of a mattress, and I bought a mattress at that time.

    I was somewhere in Virginia, I researched and found that there was a Sleep Number store not far from where I was at and had time to kill. I went in there and tried a couple of beds and my body just melted into it and I instantly bought it. I probably wasn’t even in there 20 minutes before I had already bought a bed. I’ve had the bed for three months now and ever since I got it, I can’t seem to get out of it. I have a non-traditional job where I’m a supervisor, and when I get home, I’m really tired and stressed out. I have a lot of things I need to do in my house and I can’t seem to do it once I get in the bed. I hate it, but it is what it is right now and hopefully I get over it.

    I had a pretty good interaction with the Sleep Number sales rep. I'd done a lot of research online and also talked to my employees before I did my research. However, the salesperson that I dealt with didn’t expand on the range of what types of beds they had, like if they have beds that deal with temperatures. Even though I was like, “I’ll go with this bed", I would’ve liked to get a little more information on the other beds that were available even though I wouldn’t have been able to afford them. He could have still humored me with it.

    Since getting a Sleep Number, I don’t have any back pain anymore. I suffer from insomnia, and sleep a lot sounder than I did before. The mattress that I had before was a really good mattress and I gave it to a girl friend of mine because I didn’t have it a good year. But it’s a clear difference between a regular mattress and a Sleep Number. I had to do a sleep apnea study two months ago, and I’m going to have trouble anywhere I go sleeping on a regular mattress based on the fact that the Sleep Number bed conforms to your body. I like the special that they had where for 36 months, there was no interest.

    My husband's a paraplegic and Sleep Number has been a help with that. He's able to get his sleep in different positions. I'm sure my husband appreciates the up and down control more than most people, having to get some help getting up and down. Their customer service has been very helpful every time I've called. The guys who brought the bed and set it up were unusually nice and helpful. I'm not happy not being able to find the bedspread because they're all comforters in there, but that's not the bed's fault. Everything now in this day and time, there's comforters and one can't put a bed skirt on it with it going up and down like it does.

    The split king is hard for me to make. My husband and I are both seniors and I have a bad back. I have to pick it up and pull it apart and put the sheets over one mattress at a time. I knew that was going to be a challenge for me but it had been a little bit harder than I thought. Maybe I didn't understand some of the things about the bed itself or didn't think it through as far as how difficult it was going to be for me to make it. I've tried to wind up someone to help me but with my husband's health problems, sometimes he may have an accident and there's nobody to help me with it.

    The batteries don't last as long as I thought they would. We haven't had it too long. In the middle of the night my husband was trying to change it, and when nothing happened we thought something was wrong. I took some from our little flashlight and got it going. The feet coming up and down takes a lot of batteries for it. But I bought the bed not knowing if it was the recommended batteries for that. I bought the most expensive AA batteries I could find and we've been through several sets of batteries. That was surprising. I don't know what to do in the event that we lose electricity. But all in all, my husband and I both enjoy the bed. There are pluses and minuses as to what we've given up or what I've given up for my own personal use of it, but it's very nice.

    I got the EL1 big super flagship because it was on sale and we got it at Christmas time. The sales rep was courteous and informative. She walked us through the process and my wife was very happy. The Sleep Number mattress is really expensive but my wife loves it and I wasn't upset because it was half-priced. The sales process was good and the delivery was on-time.
