I had a lower lumbar fusion on my back and the Sleep Number has helped me tremendously. I purchased the bedding, the mattress as well as the elevation base, and I use the elevation for both the head and the foot. The sales rep knew exactly what he was talking about and what I needed. And the delivery team was very professional, quick and extremely good at what they do. They also showed up early and managed to deliver it two weeks after we made the purchase. I could never do what they do. However, I didn't like the price too much. But other than that, it's great. I'd rather have a Sleep Number over anything.

We checked out a bunch of beds and with Sleep Number, we liked the idea that I can make it softer or harder. We got a bed and a base, but it's not adjustable. However, I don't know what part of the bed makes it so expensive for what I'm getting and the machine that pumps it up and down is variable on what it wants to do. We thought maybe changing batteries would make a difference, but it did not. I don't know if I'm supposed to pump it up one time and change it again but I don't do that. Sometimes I like it softer, sometimes I like it harder. And it doesn't just pump up five. It'll pump up 10 or maybe just go nuts. Then I have to pump it up to 100 and bring back to 100 again. Now, we got things under control but we find it a little weird.

My wife and I had a Tempur-Pedic and she complained about it so we ended up going to a Sleep Number store. They showed us on the actual screen when we lay down and she loved it. We had a sales professional at the store and he was really helpful and showed us different mattresses at the store. He didn’t rush us, too. He demonstrated the many different ones and we were at the store for quite a while choosing which one was the best for us. After that, we went ahead and purchased the mattress and we never slept better than ever before. It took three weeks for the mattress to get here and my wife wasn't okay with that. She was in pain sleeping on the Tempur-Pedic, and the reps lied to us at the store about the delivery. But they were quick to set it up and everything else is perfect. We're really happy with it.

I was tired of waking with a backache every day so bought a Sleep Number mattress and base. It took a while for me to notice changes in my back and the foam on my side of the bed is still too hard. Also, we got the split bed and it's hard to change the sheets on it, but the Sleep Number rep tried explaining it to me in the showroom. The massage feature is so loud as well. It wasn't so noisy when it was shown to us in the showroom because their floor has carpet. We then moved the bed off the hardwood floor and put a rug under it and it's still loud so we don't use that feature often. My grandkids played with it and one of them lost my remote and it's $200 to replace it.

I get great sleep with Sleep Number. I had one for 20 years and was very happy with it so we bought from them again and got a mattress. It's wonderful and has a very good quality. Their sales reps were also very nice.

We had a seven-year-old Sleep Number bed and it was falling apart, so we decided that it was time for a new mattress and bought one and a set of sheets and the cooling cover and a pad too. The sales reps were helpful and they answered everything. They didn't sales pressure us to buy stuff. We're happy with the high quality products we bought. We have more restful nights.

My husband has been having back problems and hadn't slept well for a long time in a comfortable bed. Then a friend of ours recommended Sleep Number and he feels a lot more comfortable since using it. I'm not quite pleased with it as he is because I still can't get the right number for my comfort even if we've had it since the first of March and it was long enough that I should be able to find my little zone there.
The sales reps were pretty good however I had a problem with the man that sold us the bed. I had a comforter and wanted to make sure I could get something to cover more because a lot of times a comforter set won't cover the whole bed. So I specifically asked him if I would be able to use the thing under the bed covers at the bottom of the bed with it and he said yes. He also said that when the delivery team comes out to put the bed up, they'll put it on for us and show us how to do it. But when the delivery team got to the house they said it doesn't work that way and he can't use that at all. So now I have to go out and purchase a bedspread. I haven't done it yet and it is another expense.
We also bought sheets for it at the time we purchased the bed as well as the thing to put on before you put sheets on to cover the mattress cover. We're supposed to buy two mattress covers but the man who sold us the bed only ordered us one mattress cover. So I called in to Dothan, spoke to a lady and she said "If you come down, we can let you have it at a sale price." So I drove all the way down to Dothan which is about 45 minutes drive from my house and when I got down there, he was there too and he said I can't have it at the price that was advertised unless I buy two.
So I said, "Well, we bought two beds and ordered the mattress covers and it was your mistake because you only ordered one of them for us, instead of ordering two, and now I have to pay a full price or you can order them for me at that price that I have to pay the shipping, whereas before I didn't have to pay shipping. I'm told one thing and then when I get down here, I'm told something else." So he called the company to see what he could do and I ended up having to order it. They did not charge the shipping charges, however, I still had to order it rather than picking up the one that they had right there. So I didn't have all of my sheets and everything when they came to set the bed up, then we got the bed made and two days later finally it came in. But that was a cost of money for me to drive all the way down there and all the way back.

The Sleep Number sales rep was very informative and good at explaining. The delivery was fine, but the delivery people didn't do a very good job. They wouldn’t touch our other bed. I wanted them to move it to somewhere else in the house and they acted like they weren’t allowed to touch it, and no one explained that to us in our process. They said they’d have to come back and install it later if we didn’t move our other bed, so I moved it by myself while they watched. But the elevation of the bed is convenient when I watch TV. We tried to do the stuff when you go online and you check your statistics. We had a power outage and we haven’t been able to get that back, so I just go into the store and have them set me up.

Hi Jim, thanks for sharing this with us. While we can often relocate a mattress and box spring at the time of delivery, some conditions can prevent our technicians from doing so. I was in the mall, saw a Sleep Number demonstration, and decided I wanted to do it. When my daughter and I lied on the bed, it took all of my cares and the stillness of my legs away. It was a nice and soft bed. It magnetized me and we had to buy all of it. And I like it. My daughter bought all of it for her room and I bought all of it for mine - pillow, seats, mattress, frame, and everything except the headboards. The sales rep was really nice and very professional. He explained everything to us very nicely. The delivery was done according to what we expected though my daughter's was delivered a little later than mine. Nevertheless, I'd recommend it to anyone and I have.

I wasn’t getting a restful or comfortable sleep. I got a Sleep Number bed and it feels pretty good. In fact, I spend too much time in my bed now. I got the thing that elevates it and a huge TV in my room. I already have recommended it but I just hope mechanically it’s gonna hold up.

I felt like treating myself to something nice so I bought a Sleep Number mattress, a base, and some pillows. Their sales reps were nice and helpful. I didn’t really know what I wanted when I went in and they helped me figure it out. They came and set it up, and did it pretty quickly. I’m happy with my purchase.

I like that with Sleep Number I can adjust the feet and legs and it was highly recommended by a friend so we got one. Their reps were very informative, courteous and seemed to know their product. Their delivery team were very nice and courteous but they smelled and were really dirty and there were here around 7:30 in the morning so maybe we were the first delivery. The bed is very large for our bed frame and sometimes when it goes up and down, I have to push it down because it’s too tight. We have a Cherry bedroom set and were concerned that it wouldn’t fit in there. It fits but is a little tight. I had to sometimes push on the head to get some slack because it gets hung up against the headboard.

We have a Sleep Number bed for 15 years and we wanted to upgrade so we bought a whole new bed. We went with the split king-size bed that can raise the legs and head up and down. Their rep was good and knowledgeable. Their delivery team were very nice and courteous. We like the quality of the bed a lot. My husband has acid reflux, so being able to raise his head up a bit really helped a lot. The only thing that we're not very happy with was that the head of the mattress keeps slipping off at one side of the bed. It falls to the side and I don't know why it does that.

We did some research on what we thought would be the best bed for us. The Sleep Number sales rep did a good job. He took us around and introduced us to the different mattress systems. We laid down and bought what we thought was one of the best. Everything is okay, except for the motor to the right is a little louder but we got used to it, especially when I put the massage mode. Other than that, the service was good and so is the bed.

Sleep Number bed is great. However, the cooling pad that I bought along with the bed is not useful at all. I can’t even feel it with regular sheets on there. I don’t think it's worth the money so I wouldn’t purchase that again. Their sales rep seemed to be patient and efficient in explaining about their product. He demonstrated it and he wasn’t trying to push us to buy the most expensive bed, just the one that suit our needs. They set everything up for delivery in a timely manner. They delivered it on time, set it up and took the old bed out. I have to change the number every now and then because it might be too firm but I figured that was because my body is going through changes. Maybe the number needs to change from time to time. Other than that, I enjoy it. It was a very good experience.

Some of the people I know had Sleep Number and they said they like them. I also liked the idea of a firm mattress so I decided to purchase one. We got an adjustable base, a Q series sleep system, and two pillows. My wife was happy with the delivery and so far, the bed works fine.

We enjoy our own Sleep Number bed so we also purchased a mattress for my mother. Talking to their reps was wonderful because I'm not a quick decision maker and they didn't have an easy sale with me, even though I went in knowing I wanted it. However, I suggest having the base with varying heights since it has created a big problem for me. My mother is in her 80's and she's very short, so for a time she had to use a step stool to go into the bed with her other mattress. She no longer needs a step stool with the Sleep Number but it's still a little high.
People should be able to switch the height of the bed or should carry a low profile base or bed frame. The standard is seven and a half inches off the ground and my mother could use it lower. Sleep Number needs some way to lower a bed, either by the base or the by the frame. I'm going to make another purchase and why would they miss out on that opportunity which is also a huge advantage to the customer? I already checked with Sleep Number and they have nothing available for me.

My wife had some problem sleeping with physical conditions, so we decided to purchase a Sleep Number bed, and we find the quality of the bed great. Sleep Number's sales representatives were very patient, and they did a good job showing us the different products they had. We had the bed delivered, and the delivery team was good. I have fewer aches and pains since we have the Sleep Number. Some friends recommended it to us and we got the base and the mattress. It’s been really easy for my husband to get in because when I put it on his Sleep Number, it’s a little bit lower which makes it easier for him to get in and out, so that’s a good thing. The sales team was professional and the delivery team was very good. We like the bed. It’s a good quality as it’s holding up so far.

I bought the bed for the pain in my back but still haven't found my Sleep Number. I sleep better and don't snore now. My husband says it's helped him 120%. We got the bedding, base and mattresses. The sales reps who assisted us were patient and explained things. The bed was delivered two weeks later and the delivery team showed up on time. They were also very efficient and quick and knew what they were doing.

We were looking around for a few different beds and we shopped at a few different stores. I’d been to a Sleep Number before, about a year or two, and the sales rep was horrible. We walked out and didn’t buy anything. And then we went into a different location and the sales rep there was really good. He explained to me the different models and stuff that they had and we decided to go from there. He was one of the reasons why we decided to purchase the bed. We also got a base, the DualTemperature cover, and a cover to protect the mattress and the base. My experiences with Sleep Number were great ever since my initial transaction, all the way to the delivery. I didn’t have any issues with them and I love the quality of the California King i8 model I bought.

We bought our Sleep Number bed less than 2 years ago. So far everything was great until I had to make an appointment to have someone come out and disassemble our bed because we were putting new carpeting in our room. I called 6 days prior to the new carpet being installed and I was told there would be a 2 week wait before they could schedule our appointment. After speaking with Jariph, in management, he finally stated that since we were not looking for new parts for our bed and just a disassemble/re-assemble they could put us on the schedule for Friday, July 22nd. That did not help us one bit since the carpet was being installed on Wednesday, July 20th. He finally told me, after multiple hours of trying to work this out, that if I called customer service they could walk me through the disassemble and if anything went wrong on our end, that Sleep Number would be responsible.
I agreed to that and scheduled them to come back on Friday, July 22nd to re-assemble the bed for $179.99. Wednesday evening around 8:00 pm we get a recorded message saying that our scheduled appointment will be on Friday, July 22nd between 5:00 and 9:00 PM!!!! Are you kidding me???? What company schedules an appointment on a Friday evening between 5:00 and 9:00 PM??? We are not getting a delivery, we just want our bed re-assembled. We paid almost $8,200.00 for this bed along with sheets and a mattress pad and have since purchased another set of sheets for $172.80.
The bottom line is that we are at the mercy of SLEEP NUMBER. I called first thing Thursday morning to see if we could change the time of delivery because we have plans to take our daughter and family out for our daughter's birthday dinner which we have had planned for a few weeks. The answer is "NO." The logistics department has figured out their route for the day and this is where they are fitting us in. I asked if we could possibly reschedule for Saturday, July 23rd but I was told that the only way they could see when the next available opening would be was if we cancelled our Friday appointment. If we did that, the next available appointment might not be until the following week!!!! Are you kidding me? You're telling me that before you can look up the upcoming available dates, I have to cancel my FRIDAY EVENING APPOINTMENT and that you may not be able to put me on the schedule for possibly another week?
Your system and dealing with your customers is absolutely absurd. I guess SLEEP NUMBER figures, "once the customer buys our bed we have them hanging from their toes." They can't have anyone else come out for a simple re-assemble, they will just have to wait until WE CAN FIT THEM IN. If I had my way right now I would have the company come out and take this bed out of my home immediately. I am between a rock and a hard place. I have told so many friends and family about your product but now I would never recommend your bed to anyone. If down the road we have any other problems with this bed we will once again be at your mercy. I have never been so disappointed in a company's customer service as I have with your company. It is a disgrace that you have your "VALUED CUSTOMERS" so enraged.

I’ve got a very bad back and a back surgery and I was looking for a good quality adjustable bed. We went to Sleep Number and it wasn’t a very busy location so instead of running around and trying to help other people, the reps had time to sit and talk with me and get all the questions that I had answered. It was very personal which was nice, plus they had the time to give a demonstration and explain everything. They also did the set up of the bed. Their delivery team came within the time that they told me they'd come. They were fast in setting up everything which was interesting to watch, just imagining how it’s coming out of the box and what it looks like. The set up was simple, but I’m sure it's not easy.
They were able to give thorough explanations along the way showing what they were doing and how its chamber is set up for the individual Sleep Number control. They also helped me set my phone and TV up so I can look at all the information on there, checking the sleep habits and to adjust the numbers when needed. I haven’t experienced any issue so far. Even when I had a power outage, I didn’t have a problem with being reset. That was my biggest concern and that got answered without me having to get any kind of technical support. It’s a good quality bed especially for the price and the warranty. It’s better to spend $5,000-$6,000 on a bed that gives 25-year warranty than spend a $1,000 on a bed that’s only good for eight years. It pays for itself over and over again just with the headache of trying to find a new bed.

I knew someone that had Sleep Number. They really liked it so I went to check them out. I like the idea of being able to adjust the firmness. The mattress I had before was really extra firm, so it's nice to be able to change it up a little bit. The sales rep were very helpful and knowledgeable. The bed was delivered then I put it up myself which was fairly easy. I really like Sleep Number. I noticed a big difference in my sleep as I have been sleeping better. It's a big improvement to what I was sleeping on before. I'm happy with it and now, I want to buy the one that I can adjust the head up.

My husband and I have some back issues, so we thought that we would try a Sleep Number bed before anything else. We ordered the bed that has a light under it, and I ordered sheets as well. The sales reps are very nice, helpful, informative, and they did a great job. I scheduled a home delivery and setup, and the delivery guys have been wonderful. I love the bed's quality. We still haven’t got it adjusted with our number, but we are enjoying it. In fact, we just went on vacation and I slept on a bed that was much harder than what I had set mine at home. I realized that I was sleeping too soft, and it’s just a matter of realizing if I need it soft or hard.

My wife did all the research on Sleep Number and we ended up with the mattress and the bedding. It was a Split King elevation with one mattress on each side. We don't use the elevation of the bed very often when we sleep, but we do use it for watching movies. The price of the bed was quite a bit higher but it was at the ballpark. Quality-wise, we'd give it a hundred percent. Their sales people were fantastic and so was the delivery guy. He got it all set up for us, showed us how everything worked and made sure we knew them all. The delivery took less than two weeks too. On the whole, we'd recommend Sleep Number to anybody else.

At first, I just wanted to check Sleep Number out so I bought one for my daughter. Then I often slept on it and loved the bed's adjustment and firmness so I bought one for myself. The sales professionals were very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Also, the delivery teams on both beds were excellent. I live in a very weird community where we have a lot of restrictions on trucks and I gave them instructions then they followed it like where to park, and then they were very careful bringing the stuff in. They took their time setting it up and took all the trash. I wanted the process to be faster but then it took them three weeks to deliver and I'm not happy with that. However, everything was great and I've had a good experience with them.

Sleep Number was recommended by two of my friends. Their reps were informative, helpful and patient and they took as much time as they needed for us to go around from bed-to-bed, to determine which one and how many accessories we can go all the way from a lower model to a higher one. I wasn't pressured but ended up going with the higher quality bed. It was not fun, but was interesting not to have them sway us. I know they want me to buy the $15,000 bed but that's not what they did, which was really a refreshing experience.
I purchased a Sleep Number i10 bed along with the base. Their delivery team were quick workers and really knowledgeable about their product. I'm very happy with what I purchased. I've been playing with a couple of numbers but I think I should log on to see how I'm sleeping at night but I can't complain that it's the bed anymore.
The i10 model we bought has two separate mattresses. At the store, they had it separate but said it was the floor model but were now bolted. However, mine were separate. My husband has been telling me to call them to check it out because his mattress keeps moving away, so we've got a 4 inch gap between the two mattresses. I thought it's common and when I talked about it to the guys who delivered it, they said they have bolted it but it's still separate. So we can't cuddle in the middle of the bed where we have a 4-inch gap and we had to throw a couple of pillows over there. It's not comfortable and that's the only part I'm unhappy with.

Always heard Sleep Number beds were great so went and bought one in Ocala Fl. No complaint with quality but worse bed I have ever sleep on. They sent me an upgraded pad that was no help and give them credit for effort, but I now believe they were killing time to get me past the 100 day return policy so I wouldn't return the bed and I fell for it. We have tried every setting it has and as they told us but no help. Don't know where they get all those good reviews but don't believe them, must be self posted because I have since talked to several bed owners that feel the same as we do. Just another air bed like we bought at WM to use for grand kids when they visit. Spent a lot of money and still need a bed so buyer beware.

We had a Sleep Number bed for ten years. This time, we purchased a base and a king-size mattress. Their sales reps were all good. They answered all my questions and I didn't have any bones of contention with all of them. The delivery process took two weeks. Their delivery team were very good, efficient, fast and friendly. However, the pump is really loud right now and it probably needs to be replaced. Other than that, the bed was really good and I'm really happy with it.

I had a Sleep Number bed before and I moved it to another room. I’ve been to their North Charleston store and their sales rep was very helpful and courteous. I was very happy with him and his service. I bought two king-size mattresses for my house. The delivery came within schedule and we put it together. I'm very happy with the beds and its quality. We needed a new bed and we tried to see it in a store and laid on a Sleep Number bed and thought it was the best bed for us. I have a lot of back and leg problems and the bed relieves some pain. The delivery crew was great. They explained everything to me and they're very professional. One man showed me how to use the remotes and it didn't take them very long to set it up. My mother and father-in-law had a Sleep Number and we housed after them a little while and used their Sleep Number. We thought that it might be a good alternative. And when there was a sale on their basic bed that was more in our budget, we decided to go ahead with that. Their sales rep walked us through. We knew about Sleep Number so we didn’t need as much as bringing us up to speed about what it was or how it works. We also told him our budgetary limitations. He was really helpful and gave us all the options about what we could purchase.
Their delivery team was really good and they're really flexible with the schedule. We have some tricky stuff with work and it happened to be different places. They were really helpful in getting at when was the convenient time for us. The guy who I called was super duper helpful and I definitely want to put in props to him for trying to deliver it with the route he was taking. He made sure that somebody would be able to get back in time. So far we've been very pleased with the bed's quality and we haven’t had any issues with any of its parts or electronics. It all seemed to be moving smoothly so hopefully it’ll continue that way.

I got the mattress and some bedding from Sleep Number and the quality of products is good. The sales guy was really good and we liked him. The delivery guy was good, too. However, the app that they have is sometimes not real user-friendly. If I stay in bed for several hours then get up and go lie down on the couch for a while and then come back in bed, it doesn’t show up. It just shows up the first part even though I come back to bed for two or three hours.

I purchased a Sleep Number factory outlet 5000 mattress over the phone because I was denied regular credit line. A sleep number rep called and informed me of another credit option which was done over the phone and approved. He recommended this bed and informed me it was all sales final. I agreed having high expectations from Sleep Number and Select Comfort. I went online to view the mattress because it was not in the stores. My mattress was delivered and was not the same as the one in the online ad that I saw. I went back online to compare what I received with what was advertised and found that my mattress was more than 2 inches less in thickness, not the same color and missing a section of mattress according to the design.
I called customer service and was asked to email them a picture. I did. She called back and told me it was the right mattress even though it did not look the same, and a 2-inch variance in size was acceptable. Also the foundation that I received did not match the item number on my invoice. It came in 2 boxes with 2 different customer names and addresses. I was repeatedly told all sales are final and after she hung up with an attitude she called back and offered me a 1.5 inch foam pad. I understand all sales are final but that does not mean you can send whatever you like and I am stuck with it. I should receive what I ordered.

I got a Sleep Number i10 and I was hoping I could set it to where I wanted and needed for the best comfort. It's good, however, I’m still warm-ish in it so I bought a cooling mattress cover which is above the water repellant cover. Plus it took a while for me to set it up as it was all new to me.

I have real problem sleeping, also with my back and my neck, so I wanted a new bed for as my mattress was getting old. I’ve heard about Sleep Number on a podcast I was listening to since they often do ads there, and the people who hosted it have a Sleep Number bed and they speak very highly of it. So I thought I'd try it out. I had the chat function going and a guy took me through the different options that I had and helped me pick a mattress. He ended up processing my order for a mattress and base. It arrived earlier than I thought ‘cause they said it might take at least two weeks. And I got all the boxes but I thought it was just the base. I was waiting for a mattress-sized box which, of course, didn’t come like that so I had the boxes sitting in my bedroom for about a week before I realized I’ve already got everything. So I was slightly confused. But when it was time to set it up, it was straightforward and easy.
However, I was a little disappointed with the base. It doesn’t look very high quality and expensive even though it feels very sturdy. It's a fair amount of money so I was a little disappointed that it looked like just plastic. But it does its job so it’s fine. In terms of the actual mattress, I've been having a few issues adjusting its softness. There seems to be a glitch as it misreads itself occasionally. I have to put it all the way up to a 100 and then just slowly work it back down to the number I want.

I had a back operation so I wanted an adjustable bed and purchased a Sleep Number. I thought it comes with the headboard, because the one I looked at priced in the showroom had the headboard. And what I got didn't have the headboard, so I called and they said that's separate. I was disappointed because I understood that it went with it when I purchased that. That experience was not very good and I didn't think the salesperson was fair on that. I think he took me on that one. I think it was included in the price and they just didn't bring it. I talked to him about it and he said it will cost me another $1,500. But I'm not paying $1,500 for the headboard when I paid over three grand for the whole bed. That headboard was on the showroom when I went and laid on it and checked it all out.
I'm not dissatisfied with the people that brought the bed nor the bed itself. Their delivery team were very professional. They put the bed together in no time and so far, I'm satisfied with it. I'm just disappointed that I didn't get the headboard which makes the bed look like it's not complete at all. When the pillows are up where the headboard is supposed to be, there is nothing there to stop them from falling down. So, I'm dissatisfied because I needed the headboard.

A couple of years ago, we bought a mattress that was way too soft for me. I sink into it and it kills my lower back. Our mistake was we thought we knew what we were doing and finished up the order online. However, I'm still not convinced we got the same mattress we ordered. I know that e-commerce has taken over a lot of stuff but it still makes sense to go in the store for something like a mattress. So when we bought a Sleep Number, we already checked them out and knew what we were getting. Also, my parents and brother have had Sleep Number beds so we got sense of what it was.
When we went in the store, the sales reps showed us all the different mattresses. However, the store that we went to didn’t have the one that we wanted so we went back online and bought it. They should update their physical locations and make sure they have all the different models that they sell because that store didn't carry three models and one of them was the one we've been reading about that we wanted to try out. So that was frustrating.
We bought a mattress because our old bed had a good base. I was ready for it to come immediately because I didn't like the old bed but it took them three or four weeks to deliver it to our house. That was the best that was available and I would’ve liked to have known that earlier on the process. However, we didn’t find it out until we’ve placed the order. The price was also a little bit higher but the comfort and the ability to adjust the firmness was really the selling point so we knew that was going to cost a little bit more. We also use the elevation more for the feet than the head and I’m sleeping better since we got it.

A month ago one side of the bed stopped holding air. Although all components of the bed are under warranty, the company requires the owner to do all trouble shooting. After two weeks of trying different things and being on the phone with their customer service for hours, they finally sent a replacement Dual Control. That was two weeks of sleeping on a deflated mattress unless I woke up to pump it back up. I had to install myself and find directions for install and set up (were not included in the box). The first night, the new unit would not allow any adjustment to one side, and the issue continues.
Just spent 30 minutes on the phone again, and again they expect that I will troubleshoot it for a few days and continue to call them before they decide on a solution, as well as take the time to return the defective Dual Pump from last week. In order to get onsite support to trouble shoot and fix the issue, they want to charge me $179. This is not the experience I expected when I bought a $4300 bed, and between the problems, the lack of technical support and the poor customer service. I would not recommend Sleep Number to anyone I know. How you can sell a product that is supposedly top of the line and not back it up with onsite technical assistance is beyond me.

I wouldn't recommend doing business with this company. Their sales staff incessantly touts the company's "25 year warranty". The problem is, that's a gross mischaracterization of their warranty. The real warranty is only two years; after that it becomes a prorated warranty to the point that after a few years it is nearly worthless. The expense of the bed seems more reasonable when they say "25 year warranty" but an honest evaluation of said warranty illustrates how they are burying details in the fine print that severely restrict its utility. The bed was, for my wife and I, very uncomfortable. We have both have had back pain since sleeping in it and have tried a host of different settings to no avail. For a $4,000 bed that is unacceptable.
Their return policy is archaic for the industry. They claim a "100 day return policy" but again the reality doesn't match up with that claim. For one, you -must- keep the mattress for at least 30 days. They will not, under any circumstances, allow you to set up a return before the first 30 days. That isn't too bad, other companies have the same policy. However, they charge you for returning it. Having them come pick it up runs ~$180 and taking it apart and shipping it to them costs about $100.
Most companies these days just get the mattress and don't charge you anything. Not so with Sleep Number; they will charge you for delivery and pick-up in the return process so you'll be out at least $100 And possibly as much as $360 if you have them set it up and take it away for you. That is hardly a "worry free return policy" as they like to claim. This bed is a pain to set up and take apart. If you plan on moving in ~10 years that alone is reason enough to consider another mattress.

The Sleep Number bed is probably a great bed for many people, but it wasn't for me. I have lower back pain and the way the bed works made my back hurt worse (I tried for about 60 nights). My issue was with the information I was told in the store versus the fine print. I was told by the saleswoman inside the store that the total for me trying the Sleep Number would be the shipping costs to me. I confirmed a second time and had my friend also come over and listen to the answer.
Well, once I got into reading the contract and online, that wasn't true--you have to pay for the shipping TO you, the setup (which is optional and I didn't pay for it) and the shipping RETURN, so you are paying shipping twice, which was just over $209. So, to try a Sleep Number bed, plan on paying about $200+ for your 100-night trial. I understand it was my error for not reading the fine print better--I just believed the salesperson. And like other reviewers, the Sleep IQ doesn't work well. My time is off despite double-checking the timezone and clock (it was off by about 2 hours for MST), and the IQ is inaccurate (it noted a high IQ number when I slept terrible, and vice versa), and it noted out of bed when I wasn't.

My wife likes a hard bed and I like a soft one and so I bought the Sleep Number's base model -- all it does is the air up and air down. My Sleep Number is good and I enjoy it. The sales professional was pretty good too. However, I was told it will take a week and a half to be delivered and then they told me it was going to take three weeks, which was a little bit frustrating. I really needed it fast because I bought it since I had family coming into town and I wanted a different bed. They were going to come and deliver it but I had them switch it to FedEx so I could have it in time. Once they FedExed it to me, it came in time, and they didn't charge me anymore. I built the bed the night before my family came and it was all good.

Purchased our sleep number bed approximately 15 years ago. We love it. When I am away from home I can really feel the difference not only in the comfort of the mattress but in the mornings my back and hips do not ache. I recommend this bed to everyone I know. I purchased a regular king-size Sleep Number mattress. Their sales rep was good. It was busy that day and they were shorthanded but they did the best they can. We had the bed shipped and it showed up on time. The quality is good and I have no complaints.

We had a problem with our split king not holding air on one side. It was still under warranty but we had to diagnose the problem so they would know what part was needed for the repair. We got a split king because of physical problems shared by my husband and I. We could not get down on the floor and diagnose the problem! Therefore, we had to pay $192.00 for a tech to come out to diagnose the problem. My husband had to then call for the part. Guess what? We also have to pay to have it installed or do it ourselves. Not a bed for the elderly or people with limited mobility!

This way, we can walk them through some quick troubleshooting steps and get them back to sleeping comfortably as quickly as possible. Often this takes much less time than it would to schedule a visit for a technician, however we do have the option to send out a tech to check on the problem for you, but there will normally be a fee attached to this service. The bed was great until we need to order parts and not just once. I have had to order parts maybe 5-6 times. Mind you we had to pay for the parts but I have had to deal with the mind games and rudeness more than once. Really not worth the bs we have put up with.

Sorry you've had some trouble with your bed, Sally, and for your service experience not being what you'd hoped for. We have had a Sleep Number in our household for 12 years. It was a queen size and we wanted something larger so we opted to purchase the California king and it's a newer model. It seems a lot more comfortable than our older one and we're very happy with it. The sales rep was very helpful and honest. He also tried to keep the prices down for us. We kept our old base on our king and just bought the top mattress, mattress cover, and foam cover. They were shipped to us and it was easy to set up once we understood what we were doing. It went together really well and everything fit nicely. We haven't had it that long, but so far, I'm pleased. It's the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. We're getting up in years and it was constantly shifting from one shoulder to the next or hip-to-hip, and I haven't had that occur at all.

My boyfriend has back problems and wanted a Sleep Number. So we got a mattress, the base, pillows and some sheets. The sales professionals were friendly and knew what they were talking about. The delivery team was on time, but we're not happy when one of the packages got left outside of our gate in other's front yard. Nevertheless, the bed is good and my boyfriend likes it. So, it's a great experience all in all.

I bought a Sleep Number mattress because of my back and I got a lot of problems like arthritis. It has been pretty good, except the lump that was in there. It was bothering me 'cause I'm the only one that sleeps in it. I like the bed a lot. Just that I just didn't sleep right in it. I was tossing and turning. I knew there had to be something wrong because it always worked since I bought it. But then my son called the place and they said he should turn the foam around. So, when he did, it's a lot better. The sales professionals were good, efficient, and friendly. I had my purchased item delivered and I had no complaints about the delivery team. They were real good and excellent.

My doctor recommended Sleep Number so we got the mattress, base, pillows, and sheets. We had a very good salesman and delivery crew. And the bed is good. Our only complaint is it's not quite what we thought it would be but we are just getting used to it. Overall, the experience is satisfactory.

We got some pillows and mattress from Sleep Number. The sales professionals were very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoy what we bought and eventually, we’ll buy the base. It was a very comfortable bed and we enjoy it. Since the purchase, there was less aches and pains.

The foam rubber in the mattress that encases the individual chambers had broke down, torn apart and lost its strength as well as the toppers that lay on top of the chambers. We knew the bed had lost support but didn't know why. When we called Sleep Number the agent had me to unzip the mattress cover and take a look at the foam, that's when the real problem was discovered. Since it had been over 2 years, we got a prorate of 68 % for replacement, which cost us a little over $100.00. The warranty for 20 years covers the base and the mattress but not the foam that goes in and around the mattress chambers that are all inside the zipped up mattress. That is not quite right to me!

I'm sorry this experience hasn't been quite what you'd hoped for, Teresa. It's important for our customers to know that defects in our beds are rare, but the ones that do occur most often pop up within the first two years of use. That's why we fully cover the cost of any replacement parts due to defects within that period, and provide prorated coverage thereafter. We've had a Sleep Number before and loved it. It was a more basic model that did everything well. After leaving it behind when we moved to Arizona upon returning to PA we tried to use the mattress we purchased in Arizona but it just didn't cut it. We went to the Scranton Sleep Number store and purchased an i10 with all the bells and whistles. Cost was over 12K for a split king with adjustable bases, "Sleep IQ" and "Dual Temp" as well as massage.
Bed was delivered promptly. Set up people were rushed as they were behind. They put the cooling system, a 1.7K option UNDER the mattress pad which was wrong. We had to fix that later ourselves. Speaking of the cooling system "Dual Temp" is not worth the money. It is noisy, the cooling is anemic, even on high, and the pad moves. As well, we've had problems maintaining connection on one side even though plugged in. The connector on the unit does not lock but even if fully inserted we get a connectivity error at times.
SleepIQ is ridiculous. It is supposed to tell you how well you slept and help you adjust the bed accordingly but even when I feel that I've slept well the system gives me an IQ number that makes it seem that I was awake all night, tossing and turning. My FitBit is a far better indicator of restful sleep. As well, we've had to reset the bed several times because it insists my wife is in bed when she is not.
The split king is not the best choice. There is a chasm in the middle and we really don't use the adjustable bases radically enough to justify them. As well, Sleep Number pushes their sheets when in reality you can obtain the same or better quality for less at a good department store. We've found that using totally separate long bottom and top sheets and blankets works best for comfort with a single spread to make things look nice when the bed is made. All-in-all we could have purchase a far less expensive model, had the same comfort and saved over half the price.

I recently opted in part of a Smiley mission to visit a Sleep Number store. I had never been to one of the stores and was blown away. The set up was simply amazing and the store was so clean. I received immediate assistance from some of the friendliest customer service I have ever encountered. They were very informative and polite. My husband and I are now shopping around for our very own Sleep Number bed!

My parents had a Sleep Number bed and we loved it, and we were looking for a new bed, so I decided to try it. I got the base, the mattress, and a pillow top. I'm living two hours away from the nearest Sleep Number showroom, so I was trying to figure out how to get the bed there. I wasn't available to actually go into the showroom, so the salesgirl spent a great deal of time on the phone with me, and she was absolutely fabulous.
I had my purchase shipped to me, and that was the only thing that got messed up. We had some scheduling shipping issue, but the girl at the store was on top of it and did a great job. They got a brand new computer system in, and it was a little bit buggy at the beginning, so there was a bit of a mix-up and the computer system didn't register the proper shipping date. But they were absolutely fantastic about trying to help and do everything they could to get the problem fixed. I'm happy with the quality of my Sleep Number purchase. It's a bit overpriced for what the customer gets, but everybody was very helpful, so I don't have any complaints. Our experience with them was excellent.

I have had bad sleep - or NO sleep - for so long that I had resigned myself to the fact that was just the way it was for me. WRONG!! I had heard good reviews about the Sleep Number bed and thought I'd take a trip to the local Sleep Number Store. OH MY!! Once I laid down on the bed and the sales professional helped me find my sleep number, I was totally in love!! I spent more than I had originally planned, but it was SO worth it!! I have had my bed for only a week, but I think in that time I have caught up on all the sleep I've missed!! Thank you Sleep Number!! I'm looking forward to many more nights of blissful sleep!!

My wife wanted a new bed. She heard about and saw the Sleep Number bed and she wanted one. We got a queen size bed, the tilt-top queen size frame, sheets, and two pillows. The delivery guys were nice. Our purchases are of good quality but the mattress keeps getting a little bit crooked on the head end. But it’s not bad. My wife spends more time on it than she does anywhere else on the bed, so it’s lopsided. It’s pulled over that way. Everything has been great.

I bought a Sleep Number mattress, and like the way it feels. My back feels good in the morning when I wake up. It's a nice bed, and I'm happy with it. The delivery though was a little frustrating. I was told that they were going to bring the item on a certain day and I told them that we had to figure out another day. They called me and when I answered the phone, they hung up. And then, the rep called me back and I told her to have the delivery on a Saturday, and they wanted to deliver it on a Wednesday, but I couldn't be there. Other than that, when the delivery guys came, they were really nice and knowledgeable and set the bed up really quick.

My husband prefers very firm beds while I like beds that are a little softer. We were looking at the Tempur-Pedic but they cost about double the price that Sleep Number offers. We wanted that quality and the experience of two different sides for each of us to have a good sleep, so we decided to go with a Sleep Number. The sales rep tried her best to be happy and upbeat, but you could tell it’s been a long day and so she came across a little fake. Because we were there in the evening, she must've had a lot going on.
We assembled the bed ourselves and it was easy. What I didn’t realize at the time was that it’s like a waterbed. You push the number and air pops in and out. Also, we wish that the base was one complete piece instead of being different pieces. Overall, it’s a good quality bed and I like the fact that we both get our different kinds of sides.

I had a Sleep Number bed already for about 20 years and it was old, so I bought again from them the mattress, base - everything except the headboard. I did it because of the quality of their products. The delivery crew was very nice but I didn't like the four-hour window. Then again, I probably won't buy another bed for 20 years, so it doesn't make any difference. Everything was fine with the products. The only problem I had is that I got a bad motor for the lift the first time. However Sleep Number people came out to changed it and they were very nice about it. The whole experience was fast, easy, and enjoyable. I'd recommend Sleep Number.

I'm almost 61, have had back surgery years back which is starting to bother me and we needed a new mattress so we decided to get a Sleep Number bed. My husband and I saw on TV that the Sleep Number beds were on sale until Monday. So Saturday we went to a Sleep Number store and tried some of their beds. I said to one of the salesmen there to give me his card as we were still going to discuss it and might come back on Monday before the sale goes off to purchase one. And the salesman insisted that the sale will end that day. He tried to pressure me into getting it right that time I guess for a commission. That put me off.
So we left and on Monday I called the 800 number from the TV, and talked to a rep. I ask the rep if the sale was still good and he said it was. He also apologized for what the other salesman did to us. I ordered the mattress and the base and it was delivered to our home. It may have taken my husband and I 30-40 minutes to assemble the bed. Overall, I'm very pleased with Sleep number. The bed is wonderful and I wouldn't live without it.

The new pump we were shipped had 2 hoses coming out of it and our bed had four hoses. I wanted to verify the correct way to hook it up and the customer service rep was friendly and knowledgeable. Good experience!

We have several Sleep Number beds in the house for a number of years. The latest one was bought via the Internet and we set it up ourselves. We sleep well with our bed and we're very happy with it. Our experience has been excellent.

My wife and I wanted different types of beds and we've had the Sleep Number bed for about four months now. We got the mattress, the mattress covers and we've gone back and got a couple of pillows as well. When we went to the store, the sales reps were very good, informative and gave us time to make our decision. However, while in the store, we didn't hear the pump go when we're changing the setting. Then when we got it home, it had the pump underneath the bed on the hardwood floor and it's loud. It's much louder than when we're in the store. I could definitely hear an almost echo underneath the bed. But in the store, the beds have skirts and they're on carpet so it's a lot more muffled there. It's not a big deal though because I don't change my setting all the time. I love it and I recommended them. My parents bought a bed two weeks later.

We've been thinking about purchasing a Sleep Number bed for a long time since we're not happy with our other one. Then a family member of ours recommended it. Their sales professionals were great. I always get a good experience when I go into the stores. I like that when people go to their stores, they're very intentional about showing how the bed works and letting people sit and lay down on it. They walk people through it. They talk about which model would be best for them for what they're looking for.
The delivery team did great. They showed up in the window that they were supposed to be. They came in, set everything up, and took away our old mattress which was a huge help. We have been enjoying the bed. We have taken a bit of time to adjust to it and figure out exactly how it works and what the right settings are, but it's a good purchase. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking for beds. But it would be conditional because it's not cheap and people have to be ready to make that commitment. They have to go to the store and try it out.

We got a Sleep Number mattress and bedding since my wife wanted it. The sales rep was a good guy. He was professional and knew what he was talking about. A couple of good guys delivered our items and did a good job. As far as I'm concerned, it's way overpriced, and I wouldn't recommend anybody to buy one. I'm not impressed with the whole thing, but my wife likes it.

We got a Sleep Number bed since my husband has back problems. The sales representatives answered any questions that I had and the sale went off without a hitch so it was great. I had the bed delivered by UPS and I set up the bed by myself in about 45 minutes. The quality is good and everything seems to be nice. My husband said that his back pain is less but he still has sleep issues all the way around.

The Sleep Number rep at the store explained how the bed and software that goes with it works. He also explained the return policy and the pros and cons of getting the base with it. He was very friendly, helpful and gave a lot of good information. We walked in and within 30 minutes bought the bed. The delivery team put it together and they were friendly. They also explained everything to us and helped us to set it up. They are an excellent company to work with and they make a good product.

I grew up with a Sleep Number bed. My parents had one and I had one in high school. This time I got a mattress, base and some pillows. Their sales reps were excellent and really laid back. My fiancé likes the bed as hard as a rock, and I like the bed somewhere in the middle. We couldn’t figure out what would work with all the other options but the Sleep Number satisfied that need. So far, we’ve been sleeping well and I know my fiancé, who was having a hard time sleeping up to that point, is thrilled right now. The sales reps were very helpful. It was busy in the store at the time, but we got all our questions answered and they took their time.
Initially, setting up the appointment for delivery was rough because I didn’t hear from Sleep Number for a long time. I called them and they were like, “We left you several messages.” Once we talked about it, we realized they had the wrong phone number. When the people came to set it up, it was later in the night which was good for me as I could work all day. They were really nice and polite. They took even more time to explain pointers to us and even though it was late at night and they had another delivery to do, I was really impressed by how they didn’t rush anything. They did it right, cleaned up everything and tolerated my puppy in their way. That was a really impressive service.

I was in need of a new mattress and I went to a bunch of mattress stores. I ended up with a Tempur-Pedic which then, after many days I had to wait, returned it because I couldn’t stand it. Then I asked a handful of my good friends and a ton of them had a Sleep Number. I went to the Sleep Number store, got the Sleep Number, and I really like my bed. The sales rep had been there a real long time and he was great. The delivery guys were real professional.
I wasn’t prepared for what the Sleep Number bed looked like when it was put together. The box spring is just this hard plastic case, and there's no real support on the side, like sitting on the edge of the bed. I wish I hadn’t seen them put it together. I called and asked my friends about it to see all these undercurrents going on about the whole Sleep Number, and all of them say the same thing. You have to pick a side of the bed because there's a weird bar in the middle. With all of my friends, one of the partners will have a real hard time while the other will have a good time. It's not like a regular mattress and you have to get used to it, but overall, I am really happy with it.

I needed a firm mattress and my husband needed a soft one and we got a mattress and base from Sleep Number. The sales professional was nice, very informative, and I liked her. The delivery team was really fast, professional, and showed up on time. The quality of the bed is good as well. However, the thing that I didn't like was the app that comes with it and tracks the sleep. Sometimes if we'd go on our phone to see how we slept during that day--even if it's in the middle of the day--it'll say that somebody is sleeping in the bed. It freaked me out the first time and then I realized it was just a glitch. It seemed to have a lot of bugs. I also have a Fitbit and use that as a silent alarm clock and felt the Fitbit is more accurate at tracking my sleep than the app. But I'm satisfied with the bed.

My wife and I had different opinions of whether we like firm or soft mattresses so we got a Sleep Number bed. The sales rep was very helpful. I already was informed about the options, but she set me right to the kind of base and bed that I wanted to see. She shared with us some of the other beds and let us try out their features. There were reclining ones and some with the pillow top, so we tried just about everything. I had it UPS delivered and set it up myself which I find easy. So far, we love it.

I bought a Sleep Number bed in 2000 and kept it for 16 years. It was beginning to break down so I got rid of it. Then I found out later that it had a 20-year warranty. In the meantime after I got rid of it, we bought two beds but they broke down. I had back problems and we decided to go back to another Sleep Number. The bed is of good quality just like the first one that I bought. It has a different foundation than the first one and is stronger and better. The first foundation we had sometimes would squeak and wasn’t as sturdy as the new one. Sleep Number has improved it greatly. We also bought a mattress protector because it was recommended to us. However, when we move, it will wake us up at night because of the noise and it's like we're sleeping on a sheet of rubber.
I called last week, spoke to somebody in service and she said they wouldn't do a thing about it because we got it in April and it's been out of the 30-day warranty. I was very upset. I asked her to speak to her superior and she said she will but when she came back after a few minutes, she said that he agreed with her that it's past the warranty. I didn’t say a thing about the mattress protector because I thought my wife liked it, and she didn’t say anything about it because she thought I liked it. That’s why it went that far over a warranty. I didn't mind buying it though because I wanted to have something to protect our Sleep Number bed but it's bothering our sleep.
Now, I've got two daughters who are in their 50s and 60s that I’m trying to talk into a Sleep Number bed and yet Sleep Number wouldn’t pay any attention when I said I’m not too crazy about this mattress protector. I thought it was too high to begin with but I accepted it. I can’t accept the fact that we can’t sleep on it. I thought maybe they could make some concessions considering the situation. However, customer service is doing what is written in the book. They need to know that if I don’t hear anything from them reasonably soon, I’m going to take the protector off the bed, put it in the trash and buy me another mattress protector.

The delivery of our Sleep Number didn't go as well as we thought it would. They never upped it up so we can use it with our phones or our tablets, so we could do what our sleep number is supposed to be. We've tried to hook it up since then and we still haven't got it done. But the Sleep Number sales rep was great and a decent guy to talk to and visit with. We're pleased with it overall.

We needed a new bed because my back had been bothering me. A friend of ours has a Sleep Number and they really liked it. My husband also did a lot of research in Consumer Reports and it was ranked very high. We checked it out and then we really liked it. We got the queen-size bed where the head doesn't move up and down. I set it at 35 and I've never needed to move it. I like a hard bed so I was really surprised that it went low. We also got the box and an extra quilted fit bedding. The sales representative was great. He took his time and answered all of our questions while we tried out several beds.
The home delivery was a nightmare though. The salesman said delivery is about four weeks. About two weeks, I got an email from Sleep Number. I have my own business and I'm very busy, so upon seeing it I thought, "Okay, I'll get back to it." But I never got back to it. Then two days later, I got a phone call saying they're 45 minutes away to deliver the bed. But it's not been four weeks. Nobody called me to confirm anything. Turns out, they'd actually sent the email that I never opened. I never confirmed that I would be there in the delivery but they still scheduled it. We ended up rescheduling three times because they can't schedule me for another week and the truck broke down. It was ridiculous. In my business, I call and confirm before I show up at somebody's house. You don't send an email and hope for the best.
Ours is not just a standard bed frame but it's a sleigh bed so we had to take everything apart to get the old mattress and box spring out of the way when they deliver. That's the problem. We wanted to clean under the bed. But since they just showed up without us knowing, the bed was not moved and the room was not cleaned. However, once they were here, they were great and fabulous. They were in and out, put it all together and made sure it worked. I absolutely love the bed. It's great. Best night's sleep. I would definitely recommend the bed. Just beware of how they deliver.

I decided Sleep Number was the kind of bed I wanted to try. I ended up getting the expensive mattress, including the adjustable base since that was the part I wanted so I'd be able to put my head up. Their sales and delivery people were great. The only complaint I really have is the delivery set up fee. I guess those people need to be paid but it seems like once I've spent $6,000 maybe there ought to be some sort of perk that goes with that. The bed seems to be of good quality nevertheless. Also, when I have to sleep on a non-Sleep Number bed, I notice that it's more difficult to sleep there than on a Sleep Number.

We’ve had different crappy mattress so we've had so much crappy sleep that we needed a bed that we knew was going to last us awhile. Then we bought the base, mattress, pillows and bedding from Sleep Mattress. Their sales professionals were friendly and helpful. It definitely helped us. It's amazing, it really made a difference. This is the third Sleep Number bed that I’ve had. We've owned their products for probably 25 years. We recently bought a new and adjustable base, some bedding, and a split mattress. The sales rep at their showroom was very helpful and explained everything. Sleep Number also came to deliver and set the bed up for us. I like it a lot. The only thing is that the sheets are not the most desirable. I bought the top quality sheets and they’re very thin, not the type of sheets that I would normally buy. But other than that, I’m very happy with the product.

The sales rep did a nice job of explaining the product to us and we found the Sleep Number as a suitable replacement for our previous bed. However, the people who set up the bed had difficulty setting up the internet connection to Sleep Central. I like the bed a lot but I haven't found the SleepIQ very useful.

We had seen commercials of Sleep Number on TV and my husband has an illness and wasn't sleeping comfortable. We went to one of the showrooms to look at the beds. The sales rep was very helpful and professional. He explained everything and took the time to show different types of mattresses. We had the bed delivered and set up at home and this went fine. My only issue was the delivery time. I was last on the delivery list that day and the delivery team didn't show up until 8:30 at night and they finished setting up at 10:30 which was not what I was expecting especially that my husband was sick at the time. They were very courteous and did a great job. The bed has improved the quality of sleep so it's an exceptional experience

We absolutely love, Love, LOVE our new Sleep Number bed! If you buy 2 expensive mattresses that's only 16 years if even that and they are still going to break down no matter what, where Sleep Number is guaranteed for 25! I hurt my back recently and was able to adjust the firmness! Awesome.

It was clearly communicated that delivery of a mattress purchased here is supposed to be within 2 weeks. I bought my mattress on July 3. I was just told my mattress can be delivered no sooner than July 20. Technically, they just "processed" the order, I was told, so the 2 weeks only starts today (July 6). When I explained that this was a ridiculous attempt at using a technicality to circumvent a clear promise, I got nowhere except for "too bad". Very disappointing.

We bought some Sleep Number products hoping that it will help us sleep better and more comfortably without so many aches and pains. The gentleman we had for the purchase was awesome. He was a great salesman and made sure that everything was taken care of. We got our order quickly and got it all set up - everything was good. The products seem to be of good quality as well. The Sleep Number bed has improved our sleep a little bit. We're still not sleeping well but hopefully, that'll change once we start putting some more exercise into our lives. The Tempur-Pedic I had was too soft, so I purchased a Sleep Number bed. Everybody was very nice. In my personal opinion, all these bedding stuff today are way outta line expense-wise, not just the Sleep Number. But I’ve no problems with the Sleep Number bed and I’m very pleased with it.

We were in the market for a new mattress and we liked Sleep Number's flexibility of one side being firmer than the other. The sales representative was very knowledgeable and helpful. I liked that it wasn't a high-pressure sale. He just listened to what we were looking for and offered suggestions then it went pretty quick and smooth. Also, the delivery team came in and were pretty quick. They were able to troubleshoot some issues on the spot and took away my old mattress which was great. We've got two Sleep Numbers - had the first one for over three years and the second one, since April this year. We were in need of a new mattress in a second bedroom and it was perfect timing that I got an email saying Sleep Number was running a special for existing customers. So I called in, talked to a super nice agent who walked me through and gave me certain options on what really addresses my need and not just trying to upsell me on something I didn't really need. He was fantastic. So I ordered the bed with the agent and it came a full week earlier than the day he mentioned it will be in.
We also got a test in Sleep Number's store and we’re really happy about the adjustability for either side of the bed. My wife and I have different preferences on firmness, and so we decided to get Sleep Number because it has the dual chamber and that it could be separated. And the quality of the bed is very good. We were very happy with our first one and even the customer service we've been getting after we bought the first one. They've been doing a great job with the sales process and the support. Sleep Number is one of the best experiences I've had in terms of purchasing mattresses. I highly recommend it.

My back had been hurting. From what I’ve heard, I could get a good night’s sleep with Sleep Number, and I could return the bed if I didn’t like it. I have two of their beds now and I had the same sales girl for both times I bought the beds at the Troy store in Michigan. She was great and very thorough. Before I made my initial purchase, I went in three times to make sure that this was really what I wanted since it was a big investment. The first one I got was a split king and the second one was a queen. The delivery team was fine. They set things up and explained how to use the remote controls. They also took away the old mattress. So far, my purchases are good. I also purchased the sheets that go with both beds. The sales girl recommended it because when I lift the head of the bed up, sometimes the regular sheet will pull off.

I was looking for a mattress online and Sleep Number had a limited edition mattress come out so I bought one and the base. The sales professionals were great and the delivery process was fine. However, when you click the button in the pump to change something, it makes a loud clicking noise. This wakes my wife up and she isn't happy with it right now. I like the mattress but I need them to come out and fix it. I doubt talking to them over the phone about this because you are just put on hold and have to answer a bunch of stuff. I will have to try it again because I need to find time to when I actually have time to waste.

I have quite a few medical conditions and sometimes I can't get in and out of a regular bed. The Sleep Number bed allows me to get in and out and adjust to whatever setting I need to. However, I have issues getting sheets to stay on the bed, even the ones that I bought for it. I also wish I had a little bit more knowledge as far as the Sleep Number app, which could tell me which number I should go to to get a better sleep instead of using trial and error. And I can't get it to load on my new phone. Overall, the bed works well for my situation and everybody was great in the process.

I bought the least expensive mattress and pillows since I already have the base. The products were sent to us and we put it together easily. It's a good quality product. We were buying a new mattress and we couldn't decide on what kind to get, so we decided to go with a Sleep Number since we can both adjust our own side. There was one lady at the Sleep Number store and she was amazing. She was very helpful and she told us everything we needed to know. She took the time and was very patient with us. My boyfriend was there during the delivery, and he said they set everything up and everything was fine. We really like Sleep Number. We're enjoying the bed.

We had tried a couple of different types of mattresses out and after we both tried Sleep Number, we felt that was a good option for us. It was a nice process with the sales reps but a little bit long as we were there for a little over an hour and a half. But the staff seemed to be knowledgeable. The experience was better with the delivery team. They set the bed up and were in and out quick. They were very polite, pleasant, and easy to work with. The bed helps with my back. It's been a lot better since we switched over and we both noticed better sleep quality with the bed. So far, we’re 100% pleased with the bed. It’s rare that we got something that’s usually the same as what was advertised and Sleep Number has been on point.

Our friends in Massachusetts and my husband's sister have Sleep Number beds and they're very pleased with them. We checked the bed out and loved it. We got the king size with a regular base. Two young delivery men came. They were so courteous and professional, and did such a good job my husband gave them a $20 tip each. The bed is wonderful. My husband and I had back problems and we'd wake up with back or shoulder aches and since having the bed, we haven't had any back problems so we're very happy. Next year, we're getting the base where the head and the feet recline. Our only problem was when we bought the bed back in March the sales professional said our friends would get a $100 gift card but they still haven't received it. When I reached out to Sleep Number they told me to just give it more time.

I had some health issues. I had a Sleep Number bed for 13 years and then I bought one recently that had the adjustable feature in it. The sales representatives were all real friendly. I had the bed delivered and set up and I didn't have a problem with the delivery people at all. They were good. I like the Sleep Numbers I purchased.

We love our Sleep Number bed. We had researched numerous beds including Tempur-Pedic but we chose a Sleep Number because we can each choose how hard or soft we want the bed on each side. Plus, our sales guy was great and closed the deal for us. Good customer service. However, I wish the sheets were better priced especially for the split king set. They are outrageously priced.

We had looked at Sleep Number before. I got pregnant and then decided we needed to buy a Sleep Number bed. We got a king size bed where both sides go up and down. Their salesperson was great. We did a home delivery but it was an interesting experience. Nobody told us that we had to remove our previous bed before they came in and we thought they would be able to move it to a different location in the house. They ended up coming out a second time. Other than that, the bed is great and we had a good experience.

My husband and I have very different sleeping needs and Sleep Number was the only thing that we could think of without losing our minds. I’m eight and a half months pregnant right now, so I really need a soft bed while my husband does not. But even if I'm not pregnant, I always slept on a softer mattress than he did. We got the mattress, the base to put it on and the topper that makes the mattress softer. Their sales rep was really knowledgeable, helpful and we haven’t had any trouble. The bed came just like it said, and my husband was able to put it together. It was a good deal and a good choice for us, and I’m glad we purchased it.

We purchased a Sleep Number bed for my husband who has acid reflux. The sales reps were very nice and informative. They took their time and didn't overly push us with the sales, which was good. I scheduled home delivery and set up. They were on time and we didn’t have any issues with them. So far, the quality of our bed is great and my husband does not snore that much. I had to have a new mattress so we were looking around. Then we got the Sleep Number mattress and as far as I know it's good. However, I haven't had it long enough to get used to it yet. The sales reps were very helpful and knowledgeable, while the delivery team was on time and fairly friendly. They weren't rude by any means. Overall, they were better than average.

The Sleep Number isn’t quite what I expected, but it's still a nice bed. I was having back problems and it has helped. The sales reps were wonderful and the delivery team was fantastic. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it's a dual control and I don't think the sides of the mattress are sturdy enough, but it’s just the way it’s designed.

It is the only mattress that you adjust the firmness to suit you. Just take at least 2 nights at each setting to decide if that the right before changing it. Their luxury sheets are great.

I got back problems so I purchased a Sleep Number bed. I bought the mattress, memory foam and the CoolFit covers and body pillow. Their sales rep was great, very friendly and went above and beyond. Their delivery team was on time, careful, very friendly and nice and conversationalists. Delivery was done in 15 minutes. I like the quality of the bed a lot but I want to upgrade and get a bigger bed, two beds up from what I got. I was considering returning my bed and getting another one but haven’t gone through with it yet. I'm planning to do that but if not, I'll just put this bed in the guest room and get the new bed because I really like it. The bed is very comfy and Sleep Number has great customer service.

My husband and I have different tastes on bed types. He likes it very firm while I like it very soft. So the idea of being able to change the firmness in specific sides of the bed was alluring. Sleep Number's sales associates have been very professional and accommodating, they even let us bring one of the in-store magazines with us. They let us talk it out because we were debating between two beds. They were very accommodating to us and that was very nice, ‘cause my husband was a little hesitant about spending that much money. We then got the I8 Bed. The delivery team that brought it to us was very informative, showed us what to do and my husband watched them put it all together so that he can do it himself if we ever move. They also stated that if we ever needed them to come out, they would come out again and set that up. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Our Sleep Number bed is comfortable. We had a great experience when we first walked into the store. The sales professional greeted us and went through everything with us. We have laid on a couple of beds and she did the pressure points with us. The delivery team was really nice and did a very thorough job. They explained everything when they had it all put together and went over the remote control with us. The quality of the bed is great but we just had to order a new remote because it was broken and that’s the only problem we’ve had.

I was tired of buying a bed every three years so I purchased a Sleep Number bed. The only thing that bothered me about the whole experience was I wasn't able to get the base that I tried at the Sleep Number store. I had to assume I would like the one that I got at another furniture store about 30 miles from where I live because if I lived in Kearney, they would have delivered it but and I wasn't happy with that. Also, the vibration is different on the one that I got.
We were outside the delivery area so, it was shipped to us in a box. I looked at the directions and it didn't make sense to me, but my husband immediately picked up on it and eventually got it together in less than 45 minutes. I love the quality of the bed. However, I think if someone is willing to drop $5,000, they should go 30 miles and give the base that comes with the bed. The only thing that saved the purchase was the fact that the salesmen in Lincoln got on the phone and called Ashley Furniture to see if they had a base that did the raising up and vibration and they were the ones that made that happen. Otherwise, I wouldn't have bought the bed.

I like the fact that I could control the comfort of my Sleep Number bed. I bought their mattress with a box spring that came with it, some pillows and sheets. Their sales rep was great. She knew what she was talking about and in no way made me feel that she was trying to sell me something. The delivery team did their business, showed me the mattress and went on their way. I’m totally satisfied with the purchase. However, the pillows are not holding up very well. When we first got it, everything was great. Now it’s smashed down and not doing anything. Other than that, I'm happy with my experience.

There was a huge sale of Sleep Number. We tried it out and liked it. Their rep was fantastic. She was no pressure and informative, and did a great job of selling us on it. The experience with the delivery team was fantastic, too. They were great, quick and polite. The only thing I didn’t like was the financing. Dealing with the company that Sleep Number was using was a bit of a nightmare. I tried to set up auto-pay and I didn't even realized it, but if I don't specifically take an action and unselect the box, they just bill me the entire amount. And on our first auto-pay, they pulled the entire amount out of our bank account. I called and they said, "You can appeal and we'll get you the money back in three months." It was ridiculous. So, we had to scramble and transfer some money around. Other than that, it took about that month to get used to Sleep Number but now, I absolutely love it.

I had a Sleep Number bed before for 10 years. Recently, we went to their store at Baybrook Mall and bought a king size Sleep bed. The sales rep was fine and there were no problems. However, it took us about two days to figure out how to put the bed together. But once we got that all figured out, it’s been working okay. There was also some kind of promotion when we made our purchase and we got sheets. The sheets don’t fit, though, and are terrible. I wanted to bring that all back but it's too late as we’ve about worn them out.
My first Sleep Number bed had a gray foam topper that goes underneath and it got low spots in it after a while. I had to buy another one and Sleep Number gave me one at a half price. That foam doesn't seem to hold up very well. We haven’t had the king size long enough to evaluate that though. Also, the mattress slides off the plastic base which doesn't hold the mattress very well. I needed to put some non-skid product on the base. Other than that, the bed works fine and I don’t wake up in the middle of the night because of the mattress. We don’t ever change the number.

My husband wanted a Sleep Number bed since he has a lot of trouble with his back and shoulders. We bought the mattress and its cover from them. The sales representative explained everything and answered every question. Meanwhile the delivery people were very courteous, nice, and efficient. They explained what they were doing. I thought it was going to take them a couple of hours but it didn't take them very long at all. After that, they explained how we could use the remote and what side was whose. The bed is of very good quality and we enjoy it. My husband seems to be sleeping a lot better, I sleep the same since I like my bed hard. Nevertheless the Sleep Number bed seems to be working great for us. I would recommend it.

I am pleased with the Sleep Number bed and all its mechanics. I bought it upon the referral of two separate families. I got the mattress, adjustable base, pillows and beddings. We had a 20-year old Sleep Number bed that we were really happy with. Now it's been passed on to my daughter who's using it - she loves it. We needed to upgrade to a king-sized bed and we had the cash so we decided to invest in a new Sleep Number bed. Their sales professionals were always fabulous. We've been in there several times to buy pillows and picked out mattresses but it took us a little while to be able to go ahead and purchase it. But Ryan was fantastic, very patient, and calm. He remembered us every time we came in and he walked us through everything.
I couldn't be more pleased by the delivery as well. They came to set up my bed and they were very efficient. They got it done, showed us how to use the bed and gave us the manual. They took their trash with them too. We've been very pleased with this new Sleep Number but it seems like my husband's side of the bed may be losing air. Mine hasn't lost air since we've had it though and it's something that has happened in the last couple of days.

So far, my experience with Sleep Number has been good. We purchased the SleepIQ, recliner, and all the other options that they have. Initially, I wasn't very happy with the bed because I didn't see any difference with the regular mattress that I have. It took me two weeks to adjust and change the sleep numbers to get the comfort position. Now, it seems to be good. I like the technology where I can check to see how much time was spent on the bed and how much time was rested and not.

My husband and I had very different interests in what we wanted so we wanted something that we could control. We’ve looked into a lot of the Tempur-Pedic and stuff but my husband didn’t like it. During our second visit to the store, we were at the point where we wanted to purchase a bed but wanted to determine which one. We looked at the beds and tried them out. The sales rep was very helpful and answered our questions. We got the Sleep Number mattress and the pillows. Delivery was surprisingly quick and the crew was very thorough, respectful, kind and helpful. We like the bed and we've been happy with it for the most part. We don’t seem to have a problem when it’s not too upright. My husband really likes the topper on the mattress because it's a firm mattress and it's been helpful to have it. It’s the main feature that we like.

It was time for a new mattress and Sleep Number was one of the brands that we had considered as I had heard a lot of good things about it. We went to a relatively small storefront and tried out a couple of beds. The bed that we wanted was not available, but the sales rep put us on a mattress that was similar, from a different model set, and told us that it would be about the same. Based on some information we had before and his recommendation, we went with that particular model. We had it shipped to us and it was easy setting it up.
However, we had to add a small foam gel pad on top because if it was soft, it wasn’t really plush and was more like a sunken-in mattress. And if it was firm, it was a little too hard for me. The gel foam on top took care of everything. We still adjust the softness and it works out well but having the extra two inches helps with the softness of the bed which, maybe in retrospect, we should have gotten another one with the two-inches-thicker mattress. But we decided to go that route and the combination of the two things has helped. The bed adjusts well. Other than replacing the batteries which is expected, it has worked without any incidents and we’ve been pleased with it thus far.

We have a mattress that’s about 15 years old. We needed a new one and my best friend recommended us Sleep Number. The sales professionals we talked to were wonderful. The young lady who helped us was very professional, answered all our questions and wasn’t pushy. We had it delivered and delivery guys were polite, courteous and considerate. I’d say it’s worth the investment and I think you get a solid quality out of everything. I’m trying to get my mother to purchase one.

I was having problems with sleep apnea, so I needed a bed that would raise my head. I tried out different beds and options. The salesperson was very thorough, knowledgeable and made the experience very easy. I bought a queen-size Sleep Number bed and some pillows. I am very happy with the bed. I am able to have the adjustments with the seat and the head where I can sit up in different positions. It's nice to have this ability.

A friend told me to buy a Sleep Number bed and so I did. Delivery team was very early and it was awesome. However, there was one piece missing when I got the bed. The friend that I talked who works there said to call a certain number and that missing piece wasn’t really needed and that it was just a separator. Aside from that, the quality of the bed was great.

I wasn't sleeping really well on my previous mattress so I bought one from Sleep Number. Their sales representatives were really good. I recommended Sleep Number to my daughter and she bought one herself.

We had our previous Sleep Number bed for 15 years before we purchased a new one that's an iLE. The sales representative was fabulous and we really liked him. He explained every detail of the bed and every option that we possibly could’ve had. He was very courteous and took the time with us. It was a no-pressure sale and he was able to make recommendations for every question that we had because we were previous customers and we knew about Sleep Number.
The delivery team was great and they explained everything on how to use the bed and who to contact if we had any problems. We love our new bed and it’s taken some time to break into it. It takes over 30 days in usage like we did with the first one. We had a bit more stuff than we were anticipating though. It’s been fun to play with it and to see some really great little surprises and different stuff that came along with it.

My wife has a back issue from a car wreck and she couldn't rest at all in our old mattress. So, we decided to go with what we thought would be the best. We went and tried out the Sleep Number and it was phenomenal, and it's been a lot better. The delivery team was wonderful. They were extremely courteous and didn't goof around. They got in there and did what they had to do and cleaned up their mess. We got the adjustable queen-size bed and it's the best bed I've ever had in my life. The only issue that we're having is the mattress because it seems to have slid down some, but other than that, it's great.

We recommend Sleep Number. We’ve had a good experience with our split king bed. It does what it says it’s going to do and we’re happy with it. We sleep a little better with Sleep Number.

My mother needs hip surgery soon, and my sister who lives in Arizona highly recommended Sleep Number. We went to the store in Fairfield and the lady rep was extremely helpful. She showed all the options, and my mom ended up buying a bed that has the adjustable head and foot. With the surgery, she's going to need it and her legs being elevated will help a lot. The delivery people were great. They were in and out and showed my mom the buttons. She had slept in it that night.
In the meantime, I developed a pulled muscle, and my 15-year-old regular mattress was painful to lay on. A bump in the mattress hurt my leg, so I went to the Sleep Number store and looked at a couple of mattresses and decided to buy one, and it's been wonderful ever since. I really like my mattress. I have a pedestal frame where it fits right on. I don't have a set number, I push the button depending on how I feel. Sometimes with my leg, I just need a little mush and it does wonders.

My sister bought a Sleep Number bed and she said I'd love it, and I do. I got the C6, the adjustable base and a fitted sheet kit. The sales representatives were all very helpful and the delivery team was excellent. The quality of the bed has been good so far.

I have had my Sleep Number bed for over 9 years and recently had some remote issues. I was offered to replace the remote or upgrade to the current system for a very reasonable cost. I thought this experience was easy and very pleasant. I did everything through their online chat feature and the rep was professional and quick to take care of my needs. Thank you Sleep Number for not only helping me sleep well at night but for making it easier to sleep knowing if I have an issue you will take care of me.

This is our first purchase from Sleep Number. We purchased their mattress, a mattress cover, and a pillow. Their sales rep was very pleasant. He was very helpful, informative, and there was no pressure with the sale. We're having a little trouble though adjusting to it. My wife and I are trying to figure it out by messing with the numbers, trying to find out what's comfortable. So, we're still trying to get used to it.

I have really bad back and neck problems and wasn't sleeping good so thought we would get a Sleep Number bed to see if that helps. We got the base, mattress and bedding. The sales professional was fantastic and the delivery team were great. However, it was a little bit deceiving in that we looked into returning the bed within the 90-days because we didn't notice a difference and realized that only the mattress was returnable and not the base. We would have been out several thousand dollars had we done that, so we ended up using something that we're not happy with. Sleep Number has great service, but their product is bad for the price.

We were ready to buy a new mattress and a couple of friends told us about Sleep Number. So we went over to the store and the salesperson was very good and helpful. She was very knowledgeable and sorted it out for us because we weren't sure exactly what one to buy. We wanted to have a bed that tipped up. Plus my husband likes it to be firmer and I like it to be softer. And the Sleep Number bed seems to work for us. We haven't had it for very long but, so far, it's still good. I would recommend it to a friend.

We thought about it for years and just weren't satisfied with the bed we had, so we thought we'd give Sleep Number a try. We ordered the very basic bed then we added our own foam topper to it because we couldn't afford the next step up. The bed works out really nice for us. We like it very much. In addition, Sleep Number's sales professionals did a good job. We already knew what we wanted when we got there but their sales people were helpful. We had the mattress delivered, set it up ourselves, and there were no problems at all.

We liked the comfort of the Sleep Number bed and got one. I'm happy with its quality. Additionally, the sales rep was very professional and the delivery team delivered the product earlier. However, we didn’t get the referral that we were supposed to get.

We weren't sleeping good on our bed and a friend recommended the Sleep Number. We bought a mattress at the home show at the Civic Center. Their sales representatives were helpful and courteous when we came back to the store because I needed to know about sheets for it. The delivery crew were professionals and came here on time. It took a while to get used to the bed, but I like it.
