    A friend of mine had a Sleep Number and she was telling me about it and how good it was so I also bought one. I love my mattress. I have the dual long full size bed and the edges are really soft. And I’m concerned about hurting the actual mattress and one of the lungs popping from it. I wish I had gotten the adjustable base to go with it at the time, but I didn’t. I'd buy the base if they would give me financial incentives. But overall, I’d definitely recommend it.

    Both my wife and I have some lower back and hip issues. We went to Sleep Number store and their sales people were very helpful, fun, and very professional. We didn’t really feel any pressure and we were in and out two or three times. They were kind to let us continue the process until we were ready. Having tried the bed in the store a couple of times, we felt like it would bring relief so we bought it.

    The bed arrived the day they said and the guys who delivered the bed were courteous and prompt. They had it done in 30 minutes. I had ordered a headboard, so they left it out from the wall where I asked them to and it was easy to put it on and move it back a little. The bed has helped our back and hip issues, partly because we can adjust each side. She likes something a little softer, I like something a little harder. Also, being able to raise the head and the feet has taken pressure off and cut down on a little bit of snoring. It’s been everything that we hoped it would be.

    I ordered 2 sets of pillows and covers on 7/15/2016. A couple of days later, I realized that I had ordered the wrong size, so I edited my order with an online chat associate. He assured me that it will be corrected in time. They shipped the original wrong order on 7/18. This time I picked up the phone and spoke with an agent who said they will send a return shipping label and they will ship the correct order right away. I used the return label and shipped the original order back to them on 7/26. I chatted with an online associate again on 8/3 to check on my order status and he said they will not ship the correct order until they receive the original order back. After some investigation, he said they received the original order back on 8/1 and my order will be shipped "shortly."

    Well, it's 8/20 today, and still no sign of my order. I missed the business hours, so I attempted to check on my order again with an incompetent agent online. He also had to be reminded that the order was returned to them on 8/1 and I should've received my correct order by now. He took 4 minutes to answer each question, and I had to check more than once to make sure he was still online. I have a picture of a stay-at-home parent answering chat request part-time while taking care of a household. The most unprofessional, inefficient online shopping experience ever. Maybe they don't care because I just ordered pillows and not their beds. If I don't receive my order this week, I will be disputing their charge on my credit card.

    My husband always said that he has trouble sleeping and wakes up still feeling like he didn’t sleep. My snoring was also a problem. We originally wanted the Sleep Number i8, which already had that cooling gel in there but for some reason, neither myself nor my husband couldn’t get approved for the whole amount. The financing company only approved us for $2,500 each. With the bed and the pillows, they were over $5,000 so we had to knock down the bed that we wanted and add the padding which that made it cheaper than the i8.

    However, the bed pad seems to have lost its cool. It used to feel cool right when I lean in there but after five minutes, it wouldn’t feel that cool and I’d start sweating. The fabric is not very breathable. Other than that, I feel good about the product. Additionally, the sales rep was funny and very personable. She read our personalities well and knew how to joke with us. The delivery team was quick. I was surprised to see how many pieces the bed is in and it was like a Lego kit. I watched them set it up, so if I ever had to I know what to do and they were good.

    I have MS so I have issues with sensation and I wasn’t getting enough sleep. I thought Sleep Number would be the best option wherein I can control the firmness or the softness of the bed. Since I have a base already, I purchased their extra-long twin mattress and the pillow. Their rep was wonderful. She was very helpful and was able to answer all my questions. I’ve done some research on my own beforehand so she was able to point out some things that I hadn’t discovered on my own. Their delivery team were here on time. They handled themselves really well and they put it together really quick. It was quite impressive to watch. It’s good quality and it seems to be holding up well.

    The only challenge is I’m a larger person and it seems the bed doesn’t quite hold the same number. If I put it on 35, it’s where I try to stay with. After about a week, it doesn’t seem like it stayed there. It seemed like it is less than that, so I find myself every couple of weeks taking the bed all the way up to 100 and then bringing it back down to 35. And it makes a difference if I'm in the bed or out of the bed when I take it back as to whether that’s the right feel. It seems like it feels better but part of it could be me, too, because I have challenges with that. So I’m adjusting it more often but I like the fact that I can adjust it. It has helped tremendously being able to sleep. If I'm having one of those days where I needed a softer bed or if I needed a harder bed, I can adjust it. So it has worked perfectly for me. I'm glad I chose it.

    We needed a new bed and the Consumer Reports article said that the Sleep Number bed was the only one that actually registered as firm on their test. It seems to be a good bed and I haven't had any real problems with it. It has been extra firm for me which is what I was looking for. I might have considered buying from Sleep Number again but they have been hounding me with sale ads as if I was going to buy two beds in a year. It's asinine and absolutely disgusting. No matter how good their product or how good the experience was, I don't understand why they think that somebody having paid $6,000 for a bed would buy another one within a couple of weeks.

    We've both been really sore and have not slept good with the beds that we've had in the past, so we decided that we were going to save up for a Sleep Number. There's one lady that was always there every time we went and we dealt with her. When we came to purchase the bed, she wasn't in and a guy was there that we've never seen and he was really decent and helpful. The delivery team was good too. I had to call the store because we didn't get a part of our bed and the whole thing didn't come together. Other than that, the bed is of good quality.

    My brother owns a Sleep Number bed and he talks about how well he rested on it so we went and tried it out and bought a Sleep Number mattress. The sales rep worked with us, and was extremely helpful. She followed up and made sure everything worked out for us. The delivery people were on time. They told us how to work the controls and had it all done, cleaned up after themselves, and were out in a quick fashion. I’m pleased with the bed.     I researched for a good bed and Consumer Reports rated Sleep Number very high, so we gave it a try. The bed works but it's way overpriced and their customer service is horrible. Our bed is not even six months old and I’m pretty sure there’s something wrong with it. They quoted me one price and then a month later, it went up $2,000. And they said, “Well, it’s ‘cause we’re giving you special discounts.” So I replied with, “Wait a minute. You mean the quote wasn’t good for 30 days?” And then we just headed for the ground. Just a horrible way to do business. Every time that I talked to them, I got a different quote. And they left off one of the key components that we wanted and we didn’t realize it until we paid for it.

    And when the installers came in, they were in a big hurry. They had a lot of work to do and have several more stops to make, so they threw the thing together and it worked. But what they didn’t tell us is that our existing bed frame had to be modified. The best is to take it apart and basically leave you with shambles of frame that you had existing and stick the other bed inside it. And of course, there’s nothing to hold that frame in place. It’s not attached to anything, and just floats around all over the room and binds up with the Sleep Number product.

    The bed's air adjustability is good. However, ours is a split where the heads can be at different inclinations. And that thing is growing away from it. Instead of being side to side, now there’s a six radiant gap between the two as far as the mattress. And we can’t get it to go back together. I filed complaints with them through their formal system, but no response. They didn’t respond to my emails either. I posted everywhere I could post how bad a company they are to deal with. And I will tell everybody that from now on. You cannot charge me $7,000 or more for a bed and never contact me again.

    Sleep Number walked away from me like I didn’t exist. If a company is gonna sell a product, they need to sell the product and not give you all these gimmicks. They will say, “Well, you’re doing this today, and we’re doing this tomorrow. Well, 30 days from now we’ll have this discount, but we’ll lose this discount.” For that kind of money, the profit margin is way more than a hundred percent. Their running profit margin is at a 1,000 percent and they’re jerking their customers around like that? It’s ridiculous.

    My husband likes the hard mattress and I like soft so we purchased a Sleep Number bed. We got the mattress and box springs but the base didn't move up and down. The mattress is very comfortable and my husband keeps his on a hundred all the time while mine stays on 65. And because we're snugglers, we tend to end up in the middle or one side of the other. So it's good. We needed that when we bought it.

    I was moving and I needed a new bed so I tried out the options of Sleep Number and then purchased the whole thing. I was really excited about it at first. Their reps helped me understand the options that are available and the different mattresses and costs associated with them. It was delivered to my home, but my experience with the delivery team was not very good. The bed didn't come when it was supposed to. I didn't know about it until after I was expecting it and I had to place a call to find out where it was. I was told they didn't receive all of the mattress components and it would have to be put off for another week, and then I didn't hear anything after that. It was really not managed very well. The bed's quality is okay, but I watch TV and see commercials for other products that cost way less and have similar quality and components. And I thought I probably made a poor decision.

    My husband and I have different opinions of what softness and firmness we prefer on a bed and so we got Sleep Number. Their sales representatives were pretty informative and helpful in trying to find our numbers and the reps in the store gave us time to look at the different beds. We bought the mattress and the base, which we had delivered, but we set it up ourselves. I just had my baby, and when you're pregnant, it’s just hard to get comfortable. In fact, I spent the last week in the recliner ‘cause I couldn’t get comfortable in the bed. But now, I don’t have all the aches and pains like I had before. The bed's quality was pretty good.

    We used to have a Sleep Number which was only given to us. We liked it but it gave out so we purchased another mattress and base. The sales professional was very good. We went to the store and it was the last day of the sale. I'm disabled and it's paid in just four years of equal payments. I didn't have to worry about any interest. The only thing we didn't understand was the boxes didn't come at the same time. We had to wait four or five days for the next to come to be able to do the bed. We were supposed to get two separate remotes but it only came with one remote. We didn't want to send it back because we waited so long to get the bed. But I'm very pleased with the bed because I have a lot of pain. It's really nice and such a big step up to the newer models.

    I've talked to a few other women who had Sleep Number mattress and they liked it. My husband had also been at the store and tried it and said that he liked it, too, so we went with it. Their sales reps were very informative. We got to wander around and look at the different styles and they showed me my Sleep Number. They were very professional, very helpful, and did a good job. The same goes for their delivery team. They were very clean - they didn't leave any messes.     I like the fact that the Sleep Number bed was adjustable. My girlfriend bought the bed at the same time. She went for the Ultra king size bed and it was pretty much top of the line. We both love the bed. I'm 60 with arthritis and lots of different issues regarding pain but when I wake up in the morning, I don't have pain anymore. What I also love about it is that as I get older with other physical issues, I could adjust it to where I could get comfortable. In addition, their reps were great. They really explained everything. I didn't feel pressured at all to buy a super expensive bed. They gave me advice on what would be the best dollar for me for purchasing so I felt very good about it. They had it delivered and set up. I felt very comfortable buying the bed. I also like the fact I've got a 20-year guarantee. I really enjoy it very much. I tell people about how great the bed is.

    We bought a Sleep Number and it was shipped to our house. It arrived on time and we put it together ourselves. However, I expected the bed to be a little bit softer for me but David, who likes a firm one is enjoying it. We got 100% cotton sheets and they are still scratchy so I was very disappointed. Also, the lower the number goes, the hotter the bed gets but it’s a good quality product.

    I purchased a queen sized bed, at first I was very happy with it. Right before the warranty ran out the air pump quit working. I called and talked with customer service and found out it would be prorated, not happy with that but ordered a replacement any way. Now the new pump is not automatically refilling when necessary. My wife and I wake with more backaches now and will be shopping for another mattress. I don't think a sleep number will be on our list.

    I had a very nice saleslady and she was extremely helpful. Because my husband was just coming home from the hospital, we wanted the Sleep Number bed to be delivered sooner than it would normally and she facilitated it. It was going to be two weeks and she got it to us in five days. Then we failed to mention that we wanted the twin beds taken out and the delivery team said they can only take one so that was a problem. We had to find a way to have the other one taken out. Other than that, they did a good job in putting it together. My husband made sure he knew exactly what was going on. I like the features very much, but I think it's overpriced.

    We bought a regular mattress from someone local and since the sixth month, it had this hollow spot and tended to drop. We tried different mattresses here and there over the years and ended up purchasing a Sleep Number mattress. The delivery guys did well. They were in and out and on to the next delivery. The mattress has been fine so far and I don't have any complaints. If I don't like it I can change the setting.

    We had back problems for many years. We were able to try out a Sleep Number bed at some friend’s house a few years back and ever since then, we've always wanted to get one. I waited until they had a sale and I knew what I wanted to pay and they were able to give it to me for what I wanted. The sales people were great.     I and my wife have been married for 13 years and we’ve not had a brand new mattress for ourselves. We wanted a good bed and not something cheap. So we thought we would try Sleep Number. I bought the p5 Performance Series queen mattress. I had the custom-built base to go to it because it was a lot cheaper that way. My wife loves the Sleep Number bed. However, my body doesn’t seem to be comfortable at any position so it stinks for me. I have to adjust it all the time on my side but there are times when it helps. I had to chat with a rep because the website wouldn't let me order correctly online. Whenever I was paying, it would split the payment into two different payments. The rep was friendly and he got it done efficiently. All in all, Sleep Number lives up to their name. It's a bit pricey but the quality of the bed is great.

    I've got friends that have had their Sleep Number beds for years and they swear by them. I went to Sleep Number first when I decided that I needed to get a new bed. I had to experiment around first to find out exactly what would work for me and Sleep Number was the only manufacturer that qualifies. I liked their beds and those are what I wanted. When I looked at all the different bed stores I knew that my original thoughts were justified. I shopped around and I kept putting a check mark by Sleep Number. I figured out that of all the beds out there, Sleep Number was the best and most versatile.

    I'm pleasantly pleased with how nice they are in the store and always remembered my name when I walked in. Their sales professionals were absolutely awesome. The rep helped me throughout the whole thing. I was impressed with the fact that she explained all the options to me and was open to what I wanted, and didn't try to high-pressure me into something that I maybe would not be happy with. The delivery team was very professional and friendly. They were ahead of schedule. They usually give a time frame of two to four hours and they came in the early part of that time frame. They were in and out and delivery was over with fast.

    I had to figure out what would work best for me and it has been absolutely awesome. I've been suffering from hip and knee problems and I was having a hard time sleeping at night. I bought the standard size twin bed. I wanted versatility so that's why I bought the plain bed. I had the bed bumped down to 35 and it still wasn't quite right so I started working on the padding and built the bed up. The saleswoman told me that I could zip it open and put as much as a one-inch extra pad. She also mentioned of specific places that sold foam pads other customers had mentioned that they were happy with so I shopped around. I bumped the bed back up to 100 and I thought I'll start there and see how that works.

    I love the fact that I have the comfort of what I figured out how to build up through padding and also the firmness of the mattress. I'm feeling so much better physically all because of the Sleep Number mattress. It's real firm but I have the comfort that I can adjust it if and when I need to. I couldn't justify spending thousands of dollars for a mattress that has no adjustment to it. Overall I'm 100% satisfied and happy. I'm always telling people about how much I like Sleep Number and the fact that I was able to get something that I could work with. It's the best bed experience of any manufacturer that I've dealt with and I would highly recommend them to everybody.

    We had purchased the bed and the mattress from Sleep Number. The lady that we dealt with was nice, but she was rather pushy. We agreed to buy a pillow which had some herbal smell into it. I bought the pillow because she claimed that was so good. About a week after we got it, Coco, our 15-year old Siamese, jumped on that pillow. She went into an asthma attack and almost died. She finally had a stroke and died about a month later. I really felt like that pillow contributed to her death. Now, we didn't go back and complain. I've threatened to, but my husband knew I was so mad that I probably would have caused a big scene. We threw out the pillow and I had to wash all these bedding and the sheet protector because of Coco. She was that sick. We took her to the vet, but she never recovered. If we hadn't bought that pillow, she might still be alive today.

    In addition, my husband weighs quite a bit more than I do and I felt like with the bed I would not be rolling into him. But it still doesn't help me lay flat. It's really weird that when I am laying in bed, the same places where my body laid last night will still be indented. For instance, the spot or indentation from where my knee was last night will still be there tonight. And that goes for the rest of my body. I'm really not satisfied to this day and I feel it's hard for me to get comfortable. I'm not amused but Troy loves it. He says he doesn't have as much problems with his back as he re-adjusts with the remote. I usually can but my understanding was that we only had to do it months ever so often. I do not like it.

    We bought the most expensive model for the Sleep Number mattress and the box springs. The sales guys and the delivery were great. However, I've heard people say they had the best night's sleep ever but I still don't. I have had better nights when I travel in hotels. I'm disenchanted with the product despite trying different numbers. The salesman suggested that we buy the mattress cover that goes with it because it protects the mattress. We bought that and it's like sleeping on a piece of plastic. We finally decided to pull that off because it was making me uncomfortable. I'm still paying on this mattress. For the amount of money I have spent, I could have gone to other stores, buy a mattress and dispose of it a couple of years. I'm really disappointed. I'm not really high on Sleep Number and I would never recommend it.

    We purchased our Sleep Number bed about a year ago. We had tried other beds and we had read up on Consumer Reports and that’s what helped us to go that way. The sales professional was very helpful and answered our questions. The whole team is proactive in communication, punctual, and respectful of the customer. We didn't sit here waiting in a 16-hour time window.

    We liked the ability of the bed to have different settings for either side because that always was a compromise. If your back is hurting, you can make it softer or harder and more firm as necessary. Warranty was very important for us as well. It should be free from manufacturer defects and the anticipated life of the product is important. We always experienced some sort of sagging with a traditional mattress or even a foam mattress so all those things were taken into consideration. It's important that it was all as advertised and there was no fluff. It's a good quality product that has lived up and surpassed our expectations. Overall, it was a very positive experience. It's great. For me and my wife, that's the best choice that we could've made. We have recommended it to others.

    I was in the Sleep Number store about eight years ago and going to buy a Sleep bed and got turned off on the price as it was crazy expensive. I wound up buying a Beautyrest bed. Six years later, I got disgusted and had to replace the bed and started looking at other beds. Three people I work with had a Sleep Number bed and they said they loved it. So I went ahead and got the whole thing. One of the things we bought was that $250 mattress covering which was supposed to regulate our body temperature. I remember laying on it in the store and I could feel the demo cooling the heat and starting to regulate the temperature. But, I get in bed and I don't feel that cooling.

    While my wife does not dislike the bed, she doesn't wake up in the morning saying she's had the best night's sleep. I also played with the Sleep Number a couple of times to try and get a comfortable position. The good thing about it is we don't have body parts that fall asleep anymore, which we were having with the other bed and where I was in a little divot. The actual mattress cover itself is starting to get worn down a little bit. I've had to bump up the number to try to increase the firmness. I'm dissatisfied and I was expecting more. If I could go back six months, I definitely would not have paid $6,000 for it and would reconsider the purchase. Overall, we're not blown away with the Sleep Number bed but I would still recommend them.

I bought a split king and the delivery guys forgot to leave one twin size, so they had to come back four hours later in the evening and drop the second one.     We wanted to upgrade our bed from a full to a king. We have different preferences for how firm our mattress should be, so we liked the idea of customizing the level of firmness per person so we purchased a Sleep Number. We purchased it late on a weekend and were the only customers there. We tried different beds out and played with the remote control. We got our custom assessments and adjusted each progressive bed to our actual numbers. We bought the mattress and the base, then got a frame and some sheets from another store.

    We got the bed delivered in a bunch of boxes. The delivery guys worked with my husband to understand where to put the bed in the room and then assembled it. They worked really fast and were pretty accurate. My husband wanted to do some of his own customizing so he just had them build the base and then let them take off. We like our Sleep Number bed and sleep well on it. It’s a nice size and very solid.

    The only thing is that we ended up signing up for a financing plan which was 0% for the first year and then 25% or something ridiculous every year thereafter. We assumed that we'd take care of our payments for the first year, but the way the math worked out is it was over three years. It felt a little like a bait and switch, like they wanted us to have a balance at the end of the first year. We just paid it off in full so we wouldn’t have to deal with the APR jumping. Sleep Number should be more clear about that with their consumers.

    I'm in a wheelchair and it was time for me to get a new bed. I thought that a Sleep Number bed was probably the best bed I could get for pressure relief so I got the M7. The sales rep was a nice gentleman. He answered most of my questions and I got no problems with him. The delivery could have been much better. I was next to the last in the day at around 4:00 to 8:00. They had a long day and it's in the 100's here in Phoenix, Arizona in Tempe. They were in a hurry and didn't want to talk much. There were lots of problems and I was not happy with it at all.

    I tried out two or three other beds and didn’t think much of them. The M7 has an extra cooling gel, but I'm extremely disappointed. I was shocked when they installed the M7 which I guess is a medium in the pack of the Sleep Numbers. I had high expectations. Being in a wheelchair, I've got thin legs. My muscles aren't there and my bones are sticking out. I need something that can protect that. They put in a rubber tubing and a little 4-inch pink foam went on it, similar to the ones that you get from cheap store when buying a tray of eggs. No matter what the air is, the only thing protecting me from the rubber bladder is a little 4-inch foam. I also paid extra thousand bucks for the protective, waterproof mattress pad on top.

    I didn't want a lot of padding on the mattress pad because I thought my Sleep Number would do everything. However, the only way you're going to feel the cooling gel is if you lay right on the M7 mattress itself. When you lay on that bed if it's not in 35 or 40, it's a hard darn bed. It has no special foam in there. It could have been a 2-inch layer of the pink and a 1-inch layer of real soft stuff. I can't get in my bed unless it's at 30 or 35. I expected a bed to actually save my life but I still got red spots. I don't have any pressure sores but I got real back pain. If I go on my knees and lay on my stomach, after 15 minutes my knees are red. My older bed was much better than that.

    Engineering of Sleep Number is 10, 20 years old. I saw their demonstration about 10 years ago and I thought it was bizarre at that time. I was shocked in 2016 when they delivered it in February that it's about the same process. Nothing extra and special. I would never recommend them and I would never buy another Sleep Number. I'm already looking at getting rid of this bed and buying another bed. I haven't even paid for this stupid bed yet. As far as I'm concerned, it's a cheap bed at a very high price.

    We wanted to find a good mattress for a long time and we finally did. The Sleep Number sales rep patiently worked with us. She had us lay down on the bed and see what our sleep number was and had us test different ones. She called and followed up. I like that kind of customer service. We got the bedding, the mattress, the air thing that puts that air on the top and pillows. The delivery team set the bed up for me and then went over everything - the features and what we needed to do. They were great. Our planned purchase to delivery timeline worked out perfectly since we just moved into our new house. For the price and quality compared to other companies, overall, it was a good price. My husband and I had to play with the adjustments since he likes the mattress firmer while I like it softer, but we have gotten to that point where he likes it. We’re happy with the bed.

    I’ve been sleeping like crap for a decade, so I bought a Sleep Number mattress and base. Working with the sales professionals was excellent and the delivery guys were really nice. They made sure I had everything I needed before they left. The quality of the bed is in some ways exactly as good as I expected, and in a couple of ways, less than I expected. But overall, I’m sleeping way better than I was. However, the base is just cheap plastic, which is a lower quality than I anticipated, especially for the price. Another issue that I have is if I dial the sleep number from 100 down to 75, the amount of difference is significantly less than from 75 to 50. It doesn’t seem to have a consistent curve. Other than that, I would definitely recommend them.

    My mom and dad had a Sleep Number years ago and they loved it. Then my husband and I had one and we hated it because it was the basic and my side never worked right. I could air it up at nighttime and then it would be flat by morning, and we swore we'd never get another one. But my husband and I both have back problems, and I talked him into doing it this time. I knew exactly what I wanted, but my husband had to be convinced. He's a hospital CEO and a detail-oriented person that wants everything explained to the minute detail. He's a little bit more picky than I am, so it took us quite a while to get through there. He told the sales guy that we didn't want to sleep separately and asked if there was some way we could work with that, and the sales guy did. Also, the deliverer was very professional and couldn't have been a nicer guy.

    My husband has reflux so we got a Sleep Number bed that he can back up. I don't have reflux so we got the regular base for me. We got two twins to make a king 'cause that's what we had before. He likes the bed really firm and I don't so we have two different mattresses. Another reason is because my husband is a terrible sleeper that flip-flops which I can't stand. I just had one of my knees replaced back in May. When we had somebody come to the house for therapy, I would put my bed up to 100 so we could do the therapy on my bed. That worked out great because the therapist had to do some mashing down with my leg. I didn't have to go anywhere else on a firm platform. Then when she left, I could put it back down to what I wanted.

    I'm very happy with Sleep Number but my husband's in the middle on it. He will never be 100% happy with anything when it comes to a bed. Overall, this is the best Sleep Number product that I've ever had. I slept on my mom and dad's when I would go see them sometimes and the difference to what the old Sleep Number was to what this is is like night and day. Even though I was happy with what I slept on with my mom and dad, this is a superior product that has come a long way. When I get on it, I feel like I'm burrowing in my little cubby. We just went to Florida for a vacation, and when I would wake up, I couldn't wait to get back to my bed.

    My brother-in-law bought a Sleep Number and liked it real well. So I bought the mattress, a mattress cover and a cool gel foam pad at their booth in a Florida state fair. It was noisy, but the sales professional was very nice. I had it delivered and he said that they would call within a couple of weeks (and so they did). They told me that it would take an hour but they got here in 20mins. I like my Sleep Number mattress and so does my dog, who would smack her little self right in the middle and won’t move.     The foam mattresses I had always seem to sag a little bit. I was trying to get a mattress that lasted a long time and I was hoping that Sleep Number would be something that would go on. We got to sample several options and found the one that was just right. I bought a mattress from them and we're very happy with it.

    I have a spinal issue and, for medical reasons, I got a Sleep Number mattress and box frame from their p5 series. The store manager that I talked to was exceptionally gracious and has put up with my probably three hours of questions. He was fantastic. Their delivery people were prompt and were minimally invasive too. They were helpful and were able to answer a lot of my concerns about maintenance. They helped me set up the programs for the dual controls for both sides of the bed, how to adjust it on the fly, how to use the app on my phone, how to track information and get reports, track my diet and all that kind of fun stuff. They were great.

    With my medical condition, sleeping is a little painful. But the Sleep Number bed is the first bed I’ve been able to sleep on for more than two hours at a time which in my world is a huge thing. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I highly recommend anybody having any trouble sleeping, especially from an ergonomic reason to definitely check Sleep Number and go through the whole pressure mapping system that I went through in-store and find out all the pressure points. It really made a huge difference. I’ve recommended Sleep Number to at least 30 of my friends.

    I got a Sleep Number and it's the second one that I've bought. I like the extra support of Sleep Number and I also wanted to be able to raise the back and the legs up on this one. I really wanted the one that had the split mattress, but my wife didn't want that one so I didn't get it. And I didn't want to spend $10,000 for a bed. It's bad enough I spent $6,000. But the reason I bought this is I like an extra firm bed - like a 60. And if I buy the others, I either get a firm or a soft or a medium and that's all I've got.     We purchased our first Sleep Number about 15 years ago. Recently, we purchased from them again and their reps were great. The bed has been wonderful. We run a vending route and we’re older so it’s nice to have the flexibility of the bed. However, we needed to have some work done on our older Sleep Number but when we called the service number that the Sleep Number store provided, it was never answered. I have left it on hold or just playing on the speaker phone for over 45 minutes but no one ever answered that line. It was very frustrating. They should get the customer number fixed.     I bought a Sleep Number bed back in the early 80s and loved it. But the mattress wore out, and the base they had back then was a bunch of plastic pieces that went together. After so long, the bed became so noisy that it was hard to sleep because every time I moved, the plastic would go 'er-ur-er-ur', and it was a problem. So this time I bought a different base, but it was too expensive. So I bought another base with drawers in the bottom, and the mattress is absolutely the best mattress on the market by far, hands down. If I knew that I could've bought a new mattress to support the two platinums that was in it, I would've bought a new mattress. But I didn't know that, so I bought another bed and was never happy with it. Last year I bought another Sleep Number bed and love it as much as I did the first bed.     I was having a hard time sleeping at night, so I tried out a Sleep Number bed and liked it. The sales reps were all good. The person that sold the bed to me was really nice. The day that they said that they were coming, they gave me a time frame and I was here through that time but somehow, I missed them. My doorbell wasn't working and I didn't hear them knock because my dogs didn't bark, so I don't know exactly what happened. They had a note on my door saying they were here after I called and complained that they hadn't showed up yet. But once they came out the people that put the bed together were good.

    I got the adjustable bed and a pillow and I'm still getting used to it. It's not as comfortable as the one I tried in the store. They said that it was the same bed, just a different year, but it's not. Also, I was paying a month ahead and somehow, I got on a wrong billing cycle and they tried charging me for a late fee. They corrected that, but made me pay the last month anyway. I wasn't too happy about that because I tried to be a month ahead.

    BUYER BEWARE! My wife has severe Osteoarthritis and Sleep Apnea so we thought we'd check out Sleep Number beds and see if one would help her sleep. So on 6/11/16 we went to a Sleep Number store. After spending a few hours in the store we decided to buy one. We ordered a Queen Dual c4 with the adjustable base, and set up a delivery date. Total price; Bed, Base, Delivery, CA Recycle fee (for mattress and box springs, non-refundable) $3,313.62. Our big mistake was not reading the fine print on the contract. Now they offer a100 night trial. So we guessed everything would be ok.

    The big day arrived and we get our new bed (the set up crew was great). I asked If after 100 days can we get our old bed back? Answer: "Oh no, we throw it away and you will have to buy a new one." "Ok then we'll keep it, do we get our $22.00 Ca recycle fee back?" "Oh no that's non-refundable." Ok, so we put it outside and covered it up. (Good thing we did.) By the third night my wife was having worse back pains than before and spent more time out of the bed than in it. We had changed all the hardness and elevation settings quite a few times to try to get it adjusted for her. Nothing seemed to work. She wanted her old bed back.

    After numerous phone calls to the store and customer service we were told that we could not return it until we had had it for thirty days. After some negotiating we somehow got the thirty day waived and they would pick it up in two weeks. That was on 6/28/16. Then we were told that they would not take the base back. It was ours at $1,199.99 and there would be a pick up charge of $179.99. Plus a headboard bracket of $39.99. Plus any sales taxes. Or we could take the mattress apart, box it up and ship it back to them at our cost.

    So for a bed that we are going to return it is costing us $1,645.83. It was scheduled to be picked up on 7/13/16, but we got a phone call saying that the truck was in an accident and they would have to reschedule. It was finally picked up on 7/27/16. The pick up Tech told me that I would be getting a confirming email within 21 days. As of 8/18/16 I have not received an confirming email. In checking with the credit bank that our purchase went through a credit of $1578.79 was applied on 7/28/16 to our account. READ THE FINE PRINT!!!

    I waited all day for my bed to be delivered. They came in and told me they could not move my old bed, even scoot it across the hall. They offered no solutions. Every single person but one who I have talked to on the phone has been rude - the delivery supervisor, the people from the store where I purchased the bed, the delivery contact in customer service. Waited for several minutes to speak with another supervisor and was disconnected as he came to the phone so I did not get to talk to him or see what might be done. I wish they would have helped me figure out what to do. I wish they were not so rude, but seeing the reviews of the company, maybe I am lucky they didn't deliver as this is probably a sign of how they do business.

    My wife and I have back issues so we said we'd check a Sleep Number bed out. We did and liked it. It's really comfortable. The salesman was great. He showed us how to do everything.     I purchased a bed from them over a year ago and loved it, but once I purchased my son's bed from them and tried to order accessories they weren't able to follow direction and when than 7,000 on two beds and accessories. Some of which doesn't operate as stated in the manual. When you try to get support they do short temp fixes instead of fixing what they sale. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. The dual temp layer is worthless. Not worth the money you spend. The foam will bunch up and the pumps are very weak even if you take the filters off to test air flow.

    We bought a Sleep Number a few years ago and it was more comfortable than any of the beds we had purchased, so we decided to buy another one for our home. The sales rep was informative and knew his stuff, and helped us in making a decision. He got us to try on different mattresses to see which one we would like the best. We purchased the whole bed and the sheets that go with it. We like our new Sleep Number bed very much and it's very comfortable. It's even better than the one we bought a few years ago. But these beds are very expensive. The one we bought years ago cost us almost $4000 and this one cost us $7000.

    My wife and I wanted to get a good night's sleep. Somebody told her about the Sleep Number bed so we went to the store, tried one and liked it. Their sales reps were fine and now, my wife and I both have a Sleep Number. Once I get the bed set, it works fine. The only thing I have qualms on is the remote control. When I go to punch in the remote control, the up down seems to have worn off. If I'm on the left side right now and I go up on it and hit the up button, it goes down to 30. It's also expensive, but still a good bed.

    We got our first Sleep Number over 10 years ago because I heard good things about them. Then we had a house fire and the insurance company replaced the mattress for us within the last year. We did the ordering all over the phone and their reps were very good. I called them and told them that I wanted a new Sleep Number mattress. I had a brochure that I looked at and I mentioned one. The rep looked it up and he still had the record from the first purchase and said, “That’s exactly what you got the first time but it’s been updated.” My purchase was delivered on-time and the team was very good. They were in and out of here in less than half an hour. They knew what they were doing and they showed us how to operate the control which is now remote, which wasn’t before. We really like the quality of Sleep Number and everything has been very positive with our experience with them.

    We bought a Sleep Number bed that includes the mattress, foundation, and some cooling pad that comes with it. I’ve got a bad back, and the actual use of the product in their store sold me on it right there. When I laid on it, they adjusted it and relieved the pressure, and I figured it's what I needed. Their sales people were very professional. Everything went just the way they said it would. We didn't feel any kind of pressure. I didn’t want to go in there with a preconceived decision on anything and wasn’t about to let them talk me into anything, so we tried all the different ones before we decided. We went home, talked it over and then went back. The delivery guys showed up on time. They did more than what they were supposed to do. Then they walked us through everything at the end and showed us how everything worked. It was a very professional team of guys who did a good job.

    There is a device that allows you to use your smartphone to help with the determining of your sleep number. It helps to track everything. We did not purchase that. Afterward, I went back to see about getting it added because my wife wanted it and the price was a little higher than it definitely could have been. I should’ve listened to them the first time around, but didn’t. Other than that our experience with Sleep Number has been very excellent and professional.

    I bought a bed on Sunday, on Monday my wife was excited and looking over the website. She saw a promo for $100 worth of bedding on purchases. She was busy and asked if I could find out if we can get the deal. I spoke to an Andrew on livechat who proceeded to rudely tell me that the deal was only available in one store in Queens, New York. He told me I should have read the fine print.

    Andrew was very short and rude. I asked if I should just cancel my order and he flippantly said I should call the cancellation department. He then disconnected the chat when I questioned if he was trained to be rude. My wife contacted the number give, unshockingly the number was NOT the cancellation department, just the general help number. After she navigates the menus she spoke to a rep that she said was VERY apologetic. The cancellation rep tried to save the sale and told my wife that we were overcharged on the order and she could adjust it.

    My wife found that particularly funny, the only financial compensation they offered was to CORRECT the bill. The cancellation rep assured her the order was cancelled and that she'd receive an email, a few hours later, no email. I wait until this morning and contact livechat. Max on livechat thought he was cute and enjoyed not being helpful. He guaranteed that there is no way to get an email notification to confirm my order was cancelled. He was rude, disrespectful, and offered NO HELP.

    After battling back and forth with him, he finally admits that SOMEONE can send an email, just not him. The whole time he was being rude with cute little responses like "Oh, ok cool. Can I help you with anything else?" This has been a bad experience and a waste of my time. I cannot believe how poorly I was treated after dropping nearly three thousand dollars.

    We’ve tried all other mattresses and couldn’t find one that we could really get comfortable on. But with Sleep Number, we can. The sales rep was very personable, helpful, and made us feel at ease to be lying on a bed in a store with other customers around. It was good customer service. The gentleman that put the bed together was very helpful in explaining things to me and how the bed goes together, because we were anticipating a move a month after we got the bed. I kept asking, “Okay, now how do I take this down to move it?” or “Can I leave it one piece?” He gave us all the booklets to read. My wife had problems finding the right number, and they suggested moving it five points, five numbers each time and she’s been doing that. Overall, I’d recommend it.

    My husband and I like different softness and hardness of mattresses so we bought a Sleep Number. Installing it seemed pretty simple especially because the directions were good plus my husband is a mechanic and an engineer. I just told him what stuff to do first and he was doing it. So far, the bed's quality is good. However, I had noticed that there were some rips like threading coming apart on the top of the mattress where the little seamed duvets are. But, we still recommended Sleep Number to everybody.

    My dad has a Sleep Number and when he went in to purchase a second bed, he talked me into getting one. The salesperson was very nice and professional, but because my daughter was there with me, it was a fairly chaotic day. But I chose a bed that was on sale because it was the best value at that time and it had more than what I wanted. I added the movable base and I have two pillows and some sheets. Although I had to fix the stitching on the pillow case, which was a little disappointing. But I felt like the bed is a good quality. So far I really enjoy my Sleep Number bed and it’s nice that it’s adjustable. I occasionally like to sit up and watch TV with it. In fact, I’ve recommended it.

    I want to give a big thank you to Brianna from Sleep Number, she contacted me the day after I posted my complaints. All issues are now resolved and I am extremely satisfied. The only suggestion I have for those interested in purchasing a Sleep Number does not have wheels put on. Wheels were placed on our bed and the locks on them always come loose and the bed rolls around. I suggest having base legs in place of the wheels.

    I have the i8 Split Cal King with adjustable bases. Let me first say out the door with this bed was over 9k dollars. I am a 2 year post quadriplegic. I spent 4 months in the hospital in a air mattress so I thought Sleep Number would be the best. Well not so much. I have to say the mattress not that bad just so-so but the split is terrible. If you never want to cuddle with your spouse again this is the bed for you. There is a nice, hard line down the middle that you will never want to cross. The adjustable bases are garbage. 2nd time in under 2 years they are going to be fixed and that's if the tech calls you back. The warranty company gives the tech 2-4 business days to call you back and last time it was 2 weeks to come out and service after the call.

    Well on my 4th day today and I called sleep number. They of course transferred me to adjustable base warranty. He says the part came in and the tech would call today. Still waiting. Anyways on to remote control. These are by far the cheapest, poorest made remotes I have ever owned in my life. If you drop on off the bed the whole remote implodes in a million pieces. You have to collect all the pieces and reconstruct the remote and remember I am a quad with no hand use so my wife has to reconstruct it.

    Also tape on the battery doors, normal buttons being used, symbols wearing off. They are total and complete garbage. The remote from directv is a million times better than this remote. And pillows - I have bought 3 and they are not cheap. They turn to mush after about 3 months. I called about 2 weeks ago about the remotes and pillows. A supervisor was supposed to call me back and nothing. Called back today, they said that the people from the complaint dept would call back, give them a couple of minutes and nothing. Before buying just a little warning.

    My wife and I spent several weeks researching mattresses, and after trying a Sleep Number bed at our local store, we decided to order one online through the Sleep Number website. We attempted to do this, but there was a problem with the online financing portal. So I took a screenshot of my Sleep Number shopping cart and decided to place the order over the phone. I reviewed the numbers from my screenshot with the salesperson and placed the order. His numbers were identical to mine. I was reviewing my order after I had made the purchase and I noticed that their website had done bad math. As you can see in the image below instead of deducting a $320 discount from the total equipment price, based on the $320 discount clearly shown on my order, they had only deducted $220. That's a new one, I thought, a website from what appeared to be an established company, was producing math errors.

    Then I checked the invoice Sleep Number had emailed me confirming my purchase. The final purchase price in the invoice was the same as the final purchase price on their website. But here's the interesting part. The invoice didn't contain the same math error. It deducted the $320 discount correctly. But in order to make the math work, and still come out with the same total price, the salesperson had jacked up the equipment price from the $3200 we had discussed on the phone, to $3300.

    I emailed Sleep Number immediately with screenshots of the discrepancy and called them the next morning to cancel my order. The person I spoke with seemed unconcerned there had been a math error on their website, and equally unconcerned that the salesperson had detected the error, and jacked up the equipment price to fix it, instead of reducing the total price, which is what he should have done. Instead he just read me a canned script about their price protection policy. I really liked the Sleep Number mattress, and I can forgive them for a math error. I simply won't do business with a company that tries to cheat me over a lousy $100. If this behavior reflects their company culture, their mattresses are probably lousy too.

    I bought a Sleep Number bed... What's happens is around 3 months in you start to sink to the middle of the bed. It's a sink hole. Both people sleeping in the bed sink to the middle.. And trying to have sex you have to put the bed at its highest point, fill it up with air. This bed is really bad. I wouldn't let my dog sleep on it. Then they sell you a kit to put in the middle of the bed to stop you from sinking. This bed sucks, don't ever buy one.

    We had thought of getting a bed for a while but hadn't made a big decision. Sleep Number was at a home and patio show in Indiana and we saw they were running some specials for the bed, so we went ahead and got it. The sales rep answered all our questions immediately. If she didn't know something another guy quickly helped her with the answer. Their delivery team explained the product to us—the pumps and all the good stuff that it has. They went through all the instructions and then told us what we needed to warranty if we needed to warranty anything. The lady who sold the bed to us called us the day of delivery and also a week later and said to call her at the store if we had any questions.

    I know many people like these beds but I think it's important for potential buyers to be aware of the cost of replacing items. The foam will need be replaced... Cost is 90+ bucks (less any prorated warranties you may have). Cover - If you should need to replace your cover, Cost is 600+ (less once prorated warranties if applicable). My control doesn't display... no longer covered on warranty (that is only a 2 yr warranty for a 20 year warranty bed they promote) - Cost is upward of 900+ bucks!! The 20 year warranty depreciates each year by 4%. BUYER BEWARE OF THE FUTURE COSTS TO AN ALREADY VERY EXPENSIVE SYSTEM!!!

    I got a C2 with a flex fit base. Delivery went okay and the product is okay. However they did approve me for a 36 months finance. Well once they deliver they are hands off. The bank, Synchrony Bank, charged me the total that was $4,000 all in full. Sleep Number didn't help at all and the bank isn't helping either after almost a month of reporting the issue.

    I bought a bed at Sleep Number. The salesman lied to me and told me I had to buy their box springs (actually no springs but just boxes that hold the mattress). He also put their Sleep IQ system on my order without my knowing about it. When the delivery guys got there I complained about it being on the order and they took it with them and told me I would receive a credit. I have now been on hold for 35 minutes and counting to find out where the credit is. I was just transferred and I am on hold now for another 9 minutes so far. They really have terrible customer service and sales. I would not buy a bed from them unless you are really in need of one. I will have to say, their bed is good though.

    I recently moved and lost my remotes. My bed is older, about halfway through its 20-year warranty. There was a Sleep Number store within 15 miles of my new location. I went there and was provided a loaner remote, which was nice. It was the wrong one. Contacted the store and they said they had, indeed, provided the wrong one. So I got a second replacement. This one was also the wrong one. I then called Sleep Number, who confirmed the store had supplied the newer model (twice) which was not compatible with my bed. I purchased a new remote for $99 and waited a week for it to arrive. The customer service agent told me I could inflate my bed with a small "air mattress" inflator if I had one. So now I am inflating a multi-thousand dollar sleep system with a $10 Coleman inflator. Couldn't really get it back to my sleep number that way.

    The remote arrived. It was the same model as the other two I had been provided, so it did not work. I experienced a 37 minute chat with Kate at Sleep Number who said I had 4 options:
    1) Buy a new remote and we'll send it to you (so I'm paying for 2 now).
    2) Return the old one and we'll send you a new one when we get ours back (two-week turnaround).
    3) She could advise a supervisor and they would get back to me in 24 - 48 hours.

    4) "Try" to call a supervisor myself.

    I went with option 4. After a 10 minute wait, I spoke to another rep. I explained the situation and after 16 minutes she forwarded me to the "Escalation" department. I found it strange that Sleep Number had an Escalation department, but she used that word a couple of times. Guess this type of thing happens a lot. Spoke to a supervisor and he did what I had asked Kate for well over an hour earlier... overnight me a remote. He reviewed the order and told me that the correct remote had been ordered, but "someone" changed it to the incompatible one prior to shipment.

    Summary: The local storage gave me the wrong remote - twice. Sleep Number recommended filling the bed with an air mattress inflator. I'm wondering why I spent several hundred dollars for the pump system when a $10 pump will do the trick. Guess these really are just "air mattresses". Kate was unwilling to do anything to attempt to reconcile the problem (I have the transcript). Sonya kept referring to the "Escalation Department" (why do they need that?). The order was changed by Sleep Number to ship the wrong remote somewhere during the fulfilment process. Once I spoke to a manager, he was able to get me a remote (I hope. I haven't received it yet, but am cautiously optimistic). When I receive this one, I will be on my 4th remote, assuming it works. Sleep Number has lost a customer.

    Updated on 08/10/2016: The saga continues. After being told that a new (4th remote) would arrive by Saturday delivery (which the agent placed me on hold to confirm this was doable), it finally arrived Tuesday. It did look different from the others so I was excited. It did not work. It would not communicate with the pump unit. I called Sleep Number again. The agent confirmed that the wrong remote had been shipped again (I now have 4 sitting on my desk). When asked why this happened, the agent said, "it looks like the last person transposed part of the SKU." The agent kindly offered to send me a fifth remote.

    I asked to speak to a manager... I told the manager I had zero confidence in their ability to correct this issue since it had been missed 4 times. I requested and was told I would receive a new remote, a new pump unit which will communicate with the remote and a refund on the remote I attempted to purchase in the beginning of this debacle. I have seen an email stating the refund has been granted and an order for the new pump and matching remote. The refund was for 112.00 and the pump invoice stated its value at 485.00. It also said delivery can be expected within 2 weeks. If that is the case, it will have taken a month to receive a working solution to this problem. I may be writing this prematurely, because the issue is still not resolved. This has been the worst retail experience of my life. I have been advised I am a member of the "Sleep Number InnerCircle". I wonder how they treat outsiders...

    We own 2 Sleep Number beds and are very happy with them. In January, some friends bought a Sleep Number bed and gave the sales person our name so we could receive the $100 Referral Gift card. After phone calls in April, May and two in August to customer service, we still haven't received the gift card. We spent over 30 minutes on hold on each call waiting for a representative. When a representative finally came on line, they were very little help. It seems like customer service is trained to give you the run-around and not really solve the problem. We're considering contacting the Minnesota Attorney General, Consumer Affairs Div. to let them know how Select Comfort operates their "referral" program.

    Purchased an i8 bed a few years ago. Besides the fact that it is so uncomfortable I don't even sleep in it anymore, the mattress zippered cover is completely falling apart at the foot and the zipper doesn't line up correctly causing bunching and the zipper won't stay connected in some spots. I purchased their ridiculous protective mattress cover that I was told by the pushy used car salesman I had to buy to qualify for the warranty for a few hundred dollars. Contacted the company to inquire about replacing the cover so at least it looks decent for any company I may have unfortunate enough to have to endure sleeping on it and was advised it was $971 before tax and shipping to purchase a new cover. Are you kidding? I have a "lifetime warranty" and evidently it doesn't cover anything.

    The customer service rep left much to be desired as far as actually helping or even having simple manners. Mentioning many times he had been there for 9 hours and to be patient after waiting 10 minutes for him to "look up my account" and that he was staying past his shift to answer my questions. I would rather he didn't with his passive aggressive tone. I'm just a girl who tremendously overpaid for a crappy product and wants some help, it isn't my fault you hate your job and were supposed to leave 5 minutes ago.

    I would not recommend anyone purchase products from this company as the sales people will lie about anything to make their sales and the customer service is nonexistent along with the supposed warranty. I will be purchasing a bed from another company and sending my Sleep Number bed to the dumpster where it belongs after thousands of dollars and only 4 years of owning it.

    Sleep Number IQ - It is the biggest waste of money that they have to offer. We paid 300 for it, and it has disconnected at least every 2 weeks and then wants me to climb under the bed, unplug the control unit and then the air pump and then reset the remotes to factory defaults which means I have to reset the names of the remotes, the favorite positions. Just one big pain the butt. I should have gone with my gut instinct on this one and not have gone with it. It is a huge waste of money and I will make sure everyone knows it is. I should have just threw my money in the dumpster...

    We had a lot of questions to the sales rep of Sleep Number and he answered all of them. We told him what we were looking for, my husband had two back surgeries, and he told us what would be best and helped us get the right bed. We had a Tempur-Pedic bed and it wasn’t working, so we went ahead and made this purchase with the Sleep Number and we love it. There was three weeks time span from the time we’ve purchased to the time of delivery.

    The installers set everything up and they were quick at it. I can’t complain about that, but as far as explaining a lot of things, they did not do that. I had to call Sleep Number not too long ago ‘cause I had a lot of questions. The bed wasn’t working for us and I’m a little irritated with it. The customer service people really helped out a lot. They were like, “Well, did they explain this to you?” I said nobody explained that when they hooked up the bed. And the reps went through the stuff with me and told me how to get on my iPad and do different things. Now we’ve learned how to adjust the bed and it’s been working.

    The Sleep Number bed is not as rigid as a regular mattress. I have a lot of arthritis trouble and cannot sleep on ordinary mattresses. We’ve had Sleep Number beds for many years and felt we needed a new one. We also bought a couple of new medium pillows and used them but, they were too stiff for us. Our plan was to get a couple of soft pillows and put the firmer ones behind it. There was a certain percentage off at that time for pillows if buying the bed. But, they would not give us the deal and that was upsetting for us. We talked to the person that worked with us and he tried to do something about it. He said he would let us know when things were on sale again and gave a couple of pillow cases. We've never heard from him since and we were disappointed with how that was handled.

    The delivery team seemed to know what they were doing with their job but seemed to be in a hurry. I had a skirt on the bed and wanted to get that so it didn’t drag on the carpet. They were pushy about how thick it had to be. I told them I wanted to get it right because once it has latched around it, I wouldn’t be able to do anything about it. We’re 80-year-old people, so it’s a bit hard.

    I wished that we could get the bed checked out to make sure we have the right foam in the top layer. They didn’t have this bed in a king when we bought it, so we had to judge it from a queen. The sides are higher and the bed is sunken down a little bit even if I have it up to the 100th mark for both. It's attractive to look at but harder to get out of bed. That’s what I’m mainly concerned with and I don’t know who to talk to about that. Other than that, the Sleep Number bed helps but it doesn't solve everything.

    I was searching for a mattress and I went by Yen Ching which is next door to Sleep Number's store on Brentwood Blvd. I then checked their store. I’m absolutely ignorant and brain dead when it comes to mattresses and the young manager sounded convincing, very thorough, seemed to really be paying attention to the person he’s talking to and our response to what he was saying. He knew what he was doing and how to analyze how you lay on a mattress. He gave us a pretty good demonstration of it and the next thing we knew was that we decided that it looked okay and got that. I would recommend them, the store and that particular manager. He said a few things and apparently knew to see how things were coming across and that’s a good way to do business, listen to the person.

    The bed is comfortable but you better hope you get lucky and do not need service or support, or you will be paying more money. Their beds are not inexpensive and they are not durable. This is made worse by the fact their warranties are just about useless, and their flexibility is non-existent. If they stood behind their products I would definitely recommend but given their atrocious after-sale support, I will be choosing another bed backed by better support.

    Our mattress is 20 years old and we needed a new one, and I’m having some back pain issues. The Sleep Number sales reps were good and the delivery team did a very good job. Their mattress has made my back pain better, but we have the Split King with the two separate beds and I don’t like that very much because of the split in the middle. You have to sleep on your own bed and you can’t sleep close to each other. I wouldn't purchase it again because of it. It's also very expensive and at this point, I'm not sure it was worth the purchase.

    I've been thinking of getting a Sleep Number, but I just couldn't afford it and so finally, it went on sale. I had no problems with their store, except I was misled that they would take away my bed. It was a water bed, and so when they came, they said they weren't allowed to take it because it was a water bed and it will get anything in their truck wet no matter how much it's drained. They were very nice guys and what they said makes good sense, but that's not what I was told at the store.     We have had a tough time getting any response from Customer Service. We mail them information, we call, we email and never a call back or any response. The latest bed was damaged during set up and we could reasonable customer service until I tried to return the damaged parts. What a fiasco and it is still ongoing.

    We got the base and the split type mattress from Sleep Number. I expected a little bit more from it. Because we have our daughter who usually sleeps right in the middle, but with the type of bed we bought, she either has to sleep on my side or my wife's side. It's a little different to balance both out. I didn't know that the division in the center of the bed would cause those small issues. I wish we would've got the one that we can adjust the whole thing. Also, in the beginning, the bed was giving me a little bit of back problems and I wasn't sure if that's because I kept adjusting to different settings every day. I recently downloaded the app and I haven't hooked it up to where it's monitoring exactly how my sleeping patterns are and what it suggests.

    But other than those issues, the bed is cool and for the most part and quality-wise, it does its job. I try not to go too soft because it feels like the bed's deflating, like I'm sinking. So I usually try to keep it at 35. And during the day, I try to keep it at 50 so that I know the air is not coming out. As far as the sales part, it was amazing interacting with the sales rep. He informed us on the benefits of the bed and whatnot. I think there were different models that we tried out that were a little bit better but the sales rep recommended us the type of bed we got right now because he said that maybe one day we might feel like we want to go really soft or really hard. We have two different lines of work so it made sense to go with that type of bed.

    My husband and I went through a bunch of different beds because he needed it firmer and I needed soft. One of us was uncomfortable at all times though and that's why we bought a Sleep Number. We had the board, the base, and the bed. The salesman was fantastic. He's very informative and he wasn't too pushy. Normally when we go to a mattress store, they're very pushy, trying to get you to upgrade but we told them specifically what we wanted. He had explained the other options but he wasn't rude.

    I like the quality, it's better than what I expected. I had referred a number of people to Sleep Number because of the warranty. And because my husband and I were purchasing mattresses over and over and over for different reasons we were spending a lot of money, so overall Sleep Number is the most cost-effective way to purchase a bed because we have the warranty.

    It may not be a whole warranty all the time, but if something should go wrong we are able to contact them. That was really what sold me. My husband was sold on the whole remote control thing, too. Moreover, we get emails that if we want to upgrade we get a discount because we're already customers. If we do decide to go for a larger bed, we can get those discounts.

    I have quite a few friends that had Sleep Number and they thought highly of the bed and recommended it. Then a friend took me to the shop where she had gotten her bed because she had a good experience with her saleslady. I called to set up the appointment to go from my friend. And the sales lady called four days before to talk with me, to find out basics about me, which was very nice. She was very pleasant and we had a nice chat even before I came in. Then she took quite a bit of time with me at the store to make sure I got everything I wanted. She seemed to take her time, wanted to make sure she got to know me. I really liked my experience with her as a whole.

    However, we had a couple of problems going in with the delivery team. They came in a little bit late and they were in a little rush to get out, so I hadn’t caught the detail that if I had a bed that already did the lift with the feet and the head, that they wouldn’t remove it. So I had to scramble to find somebody at 6 o’clock in the evening who could do it because I’m disabled and couldn’t do it. They wanted to go home because it was 6 o’clock and I didn’t want them to leave because I didn’t want to have to reschedule. But we got it done. And my experience overall with Sleep Number was very good and I like the bed very well.

    I've tried everything else and Sleep Number was my last resort trying to get relief from arthritic pain and backache for both my wife and me. We only dealt with one sales rep and she was very kind, nice, helpful and answered all of our questions. The delivery guys set up the mattress and did a good job, too. I was having problems with the mattress and I didn’t know that my sleep number was going to have to change. I thought I more or less found it and left it there, but that’s not necessarily true. I have to learn what I need to sleep on when I go to bed. It’s nice that I have the option to put more air in or take more air out. I also like the idea of being able to watch our rest cycle on the computer.

    I was having back pain and it's time to replace our bed. We had some people that we knew through work that ordered Sleep Number and they ended up canceling their orders because they kept getting promised that the bed's coming and it never was so that made us nervous. But we’ve heard so many good things about the bed that’s why I put up with it. We figured we’d give it a shot. We told the person who worked there in the showroom that the beds were having issues getting delivered, and she promised that ours would not be delayed, however, it was.

    I wish they have been honest with me and not lie to my face. If there’s gonna be a delay and there’s a part's problem, they should tell it to the customer that it’s gonna be weeks or a month before the customer gets the bed instead of promising something, knowing that they would not own up to that promise. That’s frustrating. But we finally got our bed. Then there had been glitches with the controller. Every now and then, if you picked it up wrong, it starts deflating the bed. I gotta wait around five minutes for it to reset then I can air it back up again. But overall, my experience was good.

    Back in 2002, we needed a new mattress and a friend told me that I should get a Sleep Number as I have a back problem. I told her it was stupid and who would ever sleep on air. I eventually got the C2 because we were just going to use it in our tent and it was so good for my back that I thought I needed a supply of this in case the C2 ever breaks. So that's why we have four. It's almost like my back problem doesn't exist until I'm forced to sleep on another bed if I'm on a trip. I actually brought it on a trip and blew it up in every hotel right on top of the regular bed. It literally has made my life so much easier because of my back.

    Another thing that's great about the bed is I don't have to worry about bugs and all that junk that gathers up in regular bed. It's also an airbed but it's like iron because I do everything on it like sitting on its edges for hours. I guarantee that whenever any of our guests sleep on these mattresses, they're going to say that they love it. I end up hearing good things about Sleep Number. And this is after we spent $8,000 on another mattress that's famous and was such wasted money. We haven't opened the other Sleep Number, but as soon as we finish an outbuilding that we're having, it's going to be what any of the guests will sleep on.

    Every time I hear a friend who's needing a mattress, I tell to buy a Sleep Number. I totally recommend it all the time. The only thing that I didn't like about was that once we knew exactly what we wanted, I couldn't call the 800-number and order. I had to go to a Sleep Number store. Customers who know what they want should be able to call up and order over the phone. But when I had to call the 800 number when we first got bed, everybody who answered was really nice. I felt like everyone I spoke to is American working on American soil and were very knowledgeable about the product.

    We have a p6, the big bed, and we wanted to get two twins, so we got two number 3s. Since we already have the bases, we just bought the mattresses, and we paid for them at a reasonable price. Their sales professionals were nice, and I enjoyed talking with them. They're friendly and can talk about any level you want to talk to them about. Also, when the comforter on the p6 broke, but Sleep Number came out immediately when I called them. The delivery team did good too, and the delivery was done earlier than expected.     I wasn’t happy with the bed that I had. I was constantly waking up with backaches or like my arm would be asleep and I’d wake up again. My hip would be numb, too.     We walked into the retail store in the mall and we tried the Sleep Number and since they were on sale and we needed a mattress, we purchased one. Their sales reps were really nice and helpful, and it was the manager who was helping us. When the delivery team came to the house, it literally took them 10 minutes to assemble it. However, we left that mattress in the guest room because we hated it. I have chronic back pain and that just made my back pain worse, so we brought my old mattress back into the room because it was way better than the Sleep Number. We couldn’t return it anymore because 30 days had already passed. It’s not worth the money because when I saw them install it, it looks like those inflatable air mattresses that you buy when you go camping. If I would have known that, I wouldn’t have purchased it.

    I started thinking about getting a Sleep Number from the radio commercials. I went in to the local store, tried it out and I did some more reading. But what put me over the edge was when I saw that the reviewer score only got up to 70 on thousands of dollar mattresses of the conventional type, while Sleep Number Deluxe got a 72 and the basic Sleep Number that I got has a 71. So that told me that the basic design was what people liked and I got it. It was a revelation to see that I was most comfortable on a much lower number than I would have ever dreamed. My interaction with their showroom reps was not the way I preferred to do business with but it was reasonable and I understand that it's probably a burden to the overhead, but it was fine. I set the bed up myself and it was easy.

    I have back issues and was trying to find something that can adjust me with my needs that change all the time. Sleep Number is not too bad and it's made me more aware of my sleeping habits to make more out of my day. Also, learning from sleep IQ as far as how to adjust it to get the best is interesting to watch. However, I'm concerned with how it's holding its shape. I've put it back together flat and at 100 every single morning but I'm wondering how it's going to hold up over time because I see it already giving and it's only been about six months.

    Some of the sales reps were very good while some I was not happy with at all. So once I figured it out, it was better and easier for me to just order it online. I went that path because there were constantly different sales and deals going on and people saying, "This ends today so you better hurry up." Then I come to find out it didn't end that day but continued to go on. So it made me a little untrusting in that matter. My biggest issue was with the first person I dealt with. I did everything I could to help him out until I realized what was going on. When I went into the store he let me go around the store, check things out and try out different beds. I understand that he tried to get me to buy some of their sheets and bedding but I already had my sheets and bedding. However, the second person I dealt with was very nice. I bought the mattress and adjustable frame, which were delivered by a very professional team and got it set up really quick.

    We've had all kinds of beds, waterbeds and different types of mattresses, and I was looking at different beds particularly one where I can raise up the bed and ended up purchasing a Sleep Number. Their reps were very informative. They took us around from bed to bed and showed us the different options. We were well informed. However, they sold us on the 25-year warranty of the bed, thinking we don't have to worry about the bed for 25 years, when in fact it's pro-rated. We only learned about it through their delivery team who explained it to my wife. They didn't lie but weren't upfront either with the warranty.     My back has been bothering me cause I have slept on an air mattress for a long time. I got the Memory Foam Mattress from Sleep Number. I figured that way I could adjust it according to my back if I needed more support or not. At first, I wasn't happy. They said I was a 70, so I went down to a 60 and that didn't seem to help too much. Then, I was glad that the agents from the shop called and checked how I was. I told them my back was bothering me and they said to go down lower. So, I went down to 50 and I did that for about a week and I've been all right ever since. I’m no longer waking up with my back hurting me. I have to sleep on my side but towards morning, for a little while, I can sleep on my back.

    Additionally, the delivery team was friendly and nice. I got one scratch on my wood floor that I had just put in. But other than that, I have no complaints with them. They set it up and adjusted it, too. Overall, I’m satisfied with my experience with Sleep Number.

    We had a Sleep Number bed for more than fifteen years and recently, we bought a king split bed and some sheets. The sales reps were very nice and the delivery guys were very good.     Danny has back problems, and we thought getting a Sleep Number would help. We purchased the base and mattress from them. The sales reps were very nice, professional and helpful. We've been thinking about it for a while, and Danny went to the store and saw there was a sale. At the President's Day sale, we got 60 percent off of one of the mattresses. The delivery people installed it when they got here. They were quick, friendly and allowed me to vacuum underneath the bed before they installed the new one, and I was happy with that.

    The quality of the products we got from them is very good. I went back and purchased the temperature control later and that's been a blessing for my husband. I didn't have any problems with the bed, and I haven't heard Danny complain as much when he wakes up. The only thing I was disappointed about was when I went in and bought the temperature control. The next day, there was a sale that started at 20 percent off, and I was so upset.

    Sleep Number is a very comfortable bed and we wanted the Sleep King so we made our 2nd purchase from the company. We bought a base because we went from a queen to a king. We also had to get a couple of sheet sets and the mattress bed because we couldn’t use conventional sheet sets as we could on the queen set. The sales rep was very helpful and sold us the DualTemp. We only got one at the time that we purchased the bed. I wanted it for the cool settings because I feel a little hotter than my husband is and he’s always cold. We didn’t have that before so it's a new experience.

    I appreciated the fact that when we purchased the bed and had to set up, a representative called back a month or two afterwards to see how everything went and at that time I told her that it's great, the only problem we had was that the mattress was uneven because we only had purchased one DualTemp and my side was higher than my husband’s. She let us know that she can send us out some extra padding to put in on the other side to even it out. She sent it right out and that was phenomenal. Follow up was really great. We recently got the second DualTemp when it went on sale because my husband was still cold and wanted the heat setting, and we wanted to even out our bed.

    My husband's back was hurting and everybody said that it would be a good option to try Sleep Number, and so we did. We bought a split king with the adjustable base and I recently bought new sheets also from Sleep Number. The mattress, the bed is and the sheets have been amazing. The only thing they need to work on is that their app stinks. It will just lock you out and then you lose your information.     Over the last 50 years, we’ve had different beds and none of them really worked. One of them would work for one person but neither one of us could be comfortable all the time. We bought a queen size Sleep Number bed and the base. Their sales people answered all of our questions and gave us the information that we needed. The lady was very helpful. She walked us through filling out all the paperwork and got it entered into the computer. Another gentleman came along and he finished it up and checked it to make sure everything was fine. They worked extremely well together and were very considerate. I appreciated that we weren’t pressured. They made the decision process really easy. However, I wish we're able to get it in Brownwood instead of having to go all the way to Abilene. You have to go to bigger towns for better products. Little towns don’t have Sleep Numbers. Other than that, I'm thankful for their good product.

I had the items shipped to me and it took about two weeks to deliver them. I've had it in my home since March. Setting up the bed was not very difficult at all.     Back in 2015, my wife and I bought our first bed. Unfortunately, the mattresses from the factory were very hard. I slept in the recliner because it was very comfortable and I need to sleep with a bit of elevation. After a year or more of sleeping in it, it was no longer comfortable. I was desperate to have a comfortable bed so we decided to look at Sleep Number because of the adjustability. Right now I’m the only one with the Sleep Number mattress and definitely turn the number down to a comfortable level for me. We were going to get a full bed, the M7, but that would have been too expensive for us at the time so since my wife doesn’t mind sleeping on a harder mattress, we got a single M2 for my side of the bed as it’s a double mattress, not a full single bed.

    The sales reps were very knowledgeable and courteous. They did their best to help us find the mattress that would work for us and in trying to find a pillow although the one I have is a little hard for me to sleep on. I’m gonna have to try and figure out a different pillow but it’s not their fault. The whole delivery process took close to two weeks which was rather difficult for me because I was very uncomfortable at that point in the chair. The day the mattress arrived, they gave me a top pad of the M7 or M5 gel material to compensate for the fact that I couldn’t get the M7 yet but would like to upgrade to it at some point. We put that on the old bed mattress which gave me a bit of comfort for a while before the rest of the full mattress got delivered.

    The problem with trying to decide a mattress that are on display in stores is that because people lay on them so often, they’re always gonna be softer than what you get from the factory, which is why I was surprised when we bought our bed and the mattresses came in and they were so hard. In that way, the Sleep Number is better because I have that instant adjustability that allows me to make it comfortable for myself. One issue I have is that the top pad bulges up a bit when the head of the bed is raised because the mattress underneath does that. We were told it wouldn’t happen but it does. However, the Sleep Number has been worth the price so far. It gives me overall a better night’s sleep like I had sleeping in the chair.

    We've been thinking about buying Sleep Number for years and we got the i10 mattress with the Flex 3 base. During the purchase, it was a little bit busy store so it was a little back and forth between us and some other customers. We had the mattress delivered and the delivery team was very professional, quick, and they knew what they were doing. And then ultimately, there was an issue. We had paid a sizeable down payment by check and then the store called us and said that our check had been returned, and our bank had told that it hadn't been even processed yet. So, that was a little disconcerting.

    My partner and I have different sleep issues and we have not found a bed that would satisfy both our sleeps. We saw a Sleep Number ad with a promise that it's different from the other beds we've tried and that it would help with our sleep issues so we tried it, but we had to return it because it didn’t work for us. We were just looking when we went to the store but had such a good experience with the salesman that we decided get it. Usually, I’d go and research some more but we liked him enough that we just went for it. However, when we tried to return it, we had one of the worst consumer experiences we’ve ever had. The salesman told us that their company is flexible and that they take care of their customers so if we need a little more time, it’d be fine. Having had some negative customer experiences in the past, I asked him to write it down on the receipt, which he did.

    When I tried to return it and we were 15 days late, I called the store about it and I was told that the store doesn’t deal with returns and that it was a separate part of the company. I was given a number to dial. So we called and they were abusive and told us that I can sell it on eBay or Craigslist but they won't take the bed back and instead, I was offered a 10% off. I told him that we had it written down but he said he doesn't have that in their notes. I offered to send him a copy of the receipt that showed what it said but he said it's not within their policy and we went round and round. We asked for his manager but he was more abusive. We asked for that person’s manager and he was apologetic and confirmed that we can do the return. He asked for another opportunity to try and make the bed work for us.

    But now that I’d gotten somebody who said yes to the return, there was no way I was going to take a chance not availing myself of that because at that point, two-thirds of the customer service people were literally abusive to me. So I said we'll just return it. I wasn’t satisfied with the bed not because of the quality but because the sleep surface was so much smaller in the queen size. The full and the queen inflatable parts are the same, it’s just that there’s a different surround. I tend to sleep on the edge so I was always feeling like I was going to fall off the bed because the edge is softer. We were told that they can add another piece of foam around it but I paid for the bed's adjustability and if I couldn’t do that with the part of the bed that half of my body was sleeping on, it’s not going to work for me.

    If I were to try a Sleep Number again, I have to go up to a king and if I were confident in the customer support part, perhaps I would do that but I’m not. It was an awful experience. I care a lot about customer support. So mostly, it wasn’t the bed’s quality. There was an issue with the size and the design decision that was made, which is an unfortunate one since probably queen is the most popular size. But with the way their customer service was, I don’t see how I could try Sleep Number again.

    One of the guys I work with had a Sleep Number bed and he loved it. We were looking at several mattresses from other companies but Sleep Number is the one that my wife liked best.     I was in a motorcycle accident seven years ago and experienced different nerve issues and pain. My bed was a memory foam spa bed so not only was it hot, it also didn't give me the proper support at different parts of my body. I tried a Sleep Number at another location and found that it was extremely comfortable. I didn't experience the kind of pain issue I was having with the other bed. So, we got the mattress and the SleepIQ, which unfortunately, we didn't use and I had to email them to return it. When I called to make arrangements to return it, the people I spoke to on the phone were extremely helpful and very accommodating.

    Their sales reps were awesome. Everybody we spoke to was very informative and gave all information that we needed for everything that we purchased. We had a great experience with them. The bed was delivered on time and the delivery team was very knowledgeable about the product and in getting it set up. Everything went great and the quality of the bed is excellent.

    We had been looking at mattresses for a couple of years and we’re having a hard time deciding. Some friends of ours had a Sleep Number and recommended that we go check them out. We were skeptical about paying that kind of money, but when we found out about the guarantee on them and we talked to a couple of people that had them and had never had any problems, we decided to go ahead and purchase one. The sales rep was really good. He helped quite a bit with our decision on what we were gonna get. The delivery was great, too. It took about a week and a half and I would have loved it sooner, but I was satisfied. I’m in home real estate so having people bring in beds and stuff was important. It’s good to have somebody that’s friendly and concerned about what’s going on and letting us know what we needed to expect.

    We use the Sleep Number base that elevates occasionally. My husband was actually skeptical about buying it. I work from home a lot and I usually use my laptop on the bed and I told him I was getting the adjustable base whether he wanted to or not, and now he loves it. He has really bad allergies and when his allergies are acting up, we’ll sleep with it up. We’ve really enjoyed the bed quality-wise, and it's a good price for the guarantee on it and everything else.

    I've been thinking about purchasing a Sleep Number for several years. I have a bad back and I thought it might help. I got a base, mattress, mattress pad, and a pillow. However, it took me a long time to find a number that finally worked and it's pretty high. I have really bad arthritis throughout my spine, so it took a little bit to get used to the bed and get where I finally got comfortable. Also, the Sleep Number pillow was horrible and I couldn’t even sleep with it. I finally found that if I bought a different pillow, that helped.

    In addition, the sales rep was knowledgeable and let me try out all the different beds until I found one that I felt was the best for me. He didn’t try to talk me into something more. There was one delivery guy and I felt so sorry for him. The truck had broken down and he had to come from Raleigh to help the people in Greensboro. He was trying to deliver to all the homes by himself and he didn’t get here until it was almost 7:00 o’clock. The only thing he couldn’t do was take my old mattress because he said there was no way he could put it on the truck by himself. So I called Sleep Number and they sent another crew out a couple of days later and picked it up.

    I purchased a Sleep Number for my aches and pains and breathing problems. I got the information I needed in one stop, purchased the bed, and went away with what I wanted. I did some research online beforehand, so I had a good idea of what I needed. My biggest concern was trying to figure out at what level of comfort to buy. What I needed was a Flex base under the bed so I could elevate its head a little. I was also looking for something I could adjust more since I had a lot of problems with osteoarthritis in my shoulders and back. I needed to be able to adjust the bed for optimum pain relief.

    I scheduled a home delivery and the team was prompt and very polite. They showed me exactly what I needed to know about the unit and got everything set up for me. It was very much a relief to sleep in the bed that night. I haven’t had it long enough to see its long-term durability, but from using it now, it’s working great and I don’t see any problems with it.

    Next time you need a new bed or are looking for a new bed I strongly recommend going to a Sleep Number store and going through the process. The only downside I can see is price, but Sleep Number offers a complete line of beds for every price range and also offers creative financing options to help you get into the bed of your dreams. I have purchased many of the so called "best" mattresses in the past. Spending a lot of money to do so. None of these compare to any of the Sleep Number models.

    My wife and I dreaded having to go into the store and walked out completely astonished, asking each other why we had not done this sooner.     Sleep Number seemed like an interesting bit of technology and I believe I've made the right choice to buy it. I got one of those very simple frames that's static. Their salesperson at the store was very knowledgeable about the product that he was selling. They allowed me to try out the mattresses that they had in the store and explained their differences.     The sales reps at Sleep Number were good. They talked me into purchasing the thing that monitors sleep, but it is definitely inaccurate because sometimes when I’m in the bed, it says I’m not in there. And sometimes when I'm not in the bed, it says I’m sleeping. It was 400 bucks extra, so I feel I wasted that money. I had home delivery and set up, but the delivery guys did not set up the mattress cover and told me to wash it first. Also, the mattress cover that I purchased was sewn incorrectly and doesn't fit the bed properly. But I'm happy with the service overall.

    I needed a bed for my back problem. Apparently, two of my kids had Sleep Number bed and they encouraged me to get one. So, I purchased a mattress and a base. It hasn’t cured my scoliosis but it sure makes it better. I love my Sleep Number bed. Their sales rep at Mid Rivers store was great. Their delivery team was great and very efficient. They got out of here quick and they took the old bed away. The quality of the bed is great. It doesn’t seem to be losing any air though, which was a big concern but it seems to be fine.

    We’ve had Sleep Number for about a year now. We got it because of my back so I could sleep a bit better all night. We tried every bed there in New Hartford and the sales professionals were really nice and helpful to us. Then they delivered it and set it all up. Two people came, a guy and a girl, and within 15 minutes it was all done with the side up. They knew what they’re doing. I’d recommend Sleep Number to anybody, it would be well worth their money however I just hate spending all that amount. But it's really good to sleep with, nice and comfortable. It works great. What I also do is put the bed in my camper so I could sleep in there for the summer. The only bad thing is like bed lifts often have storage underneath (but at least you can put the mattress in there and semi-carry it down and it doesn’t move). Other than that, everything works fine and it's really nice that I could do that.

    I like my regular mattress with a top cushion but didn't get that for my main bed because I have trouble with my back and it's difficult to change the sheets. I had a Sleep Number bed before and with that, it's easy to lift up and change sheets which is the reason I got another one. It's air-filled but still in the morning when I get up, I see kind of like a dip which makes me think why the air doesn't immediately let everything out and if it really is supporting me.

    Their sales reps were fine but for delivery, they called in a recording, which I hate. They would deliver a month from then, in the morning, and left an 800-number if that didn’t work out. I said it would have to be in the afternoon but they said that that's the way it is. That really irritated me as how was I supposed to know if I would be at home during that day as it is still too far off. That particular policy was too strict. So I called the store itself, talked to the manager in there and said how upset I was. Finally, they were able to make it at an earlier time.

    Another issue is that the Sleep Number can’t be turned around. If a regular mattress is turned periodically, it stays the same all around. But with this, after a few years, there is a difference with the side that's getting nightly sleep against the other. When the delivery guys were out, I asked them about that and they said I have 30 or 60 days to get a different kind. But, I wasn't told that in the store room and neither my son, who also got a Sleep Number bed.

    If I could've found another lightweight bed, I would’ve tried it as I’m not totally sold on the Sleep Number. I sleep better in the guest room on the regular mattress. Also, it’s not the greatest mattress for the price. I can understand if they’re not really expensive and I'd think it was worth the money, but they are, which makes me think why I spent all that money on it. I put up with the Sleep Number bed but wouldn’t suggest it to anybody else.
