We just received our Sleep number C2 bed. Waited for Delivery, and just spent the worst night of my life on it. It's HOT, uncomfortable, and it's going back. This is a glorified air mattress. What was I thinking! I have to wait until Monday to call the store. I will see how it fares one more night. My back hurts in places it never did. I would have been better off on the floor. It also did not have the new bed smell which makes me wonder if this bed was a return.

My husband and I have tried top-of-the-line beds and we're still miserable and in pain. My chiropractor told me to go to Sleep Number, and it was great advice. Talking to the reps was absolutely phenomenal. We actually went in right before closing and they stayed late for us. They were amazing. They came in early the following morning which was a Sunday to help facilitate the buying process, because after my husband and I purchased our bed we went back and bought our two teenage sons Sleep Numbers as well. They are happy campers too. In addition, the delivery team was quick, efficient, and did exactly what they needed to do. We are absolutely thrilled with Sleep Number's quality. To not be in pain is fabulous. Everything was just top-notch and we tell everybody about it.

We purchased the Sleep Number bed and its sheets for my wife who's on oxygen. She can't sleep lying down anymore. She was in a hospital and when we got out, she slept in a chair for a week and a half until the bed arrived. We had the bedroom all cleaned up so the delivery team had an easy job installing it. And there was a plug close to it, so they did a good job. They came in, took half an hour to work, and they explained everything.
Ever since the bed arrived, my wife's been in there sleeping and it's been very good for her. I have it set up like the hospital bed with the top up and the bottom up a little bit and it's really helped out. It was an expensive purchase but it's been worth it. We had a good experience with Sleep Number and it's worked out very well. I'm very happy with it. When I had some trouble with the control, they sent me a new one, but I couldn't set it up. So I have to send it back, although I haven't had the chance to do that yet.

We purchased one of those mattresses that have memory foam and the Sleep Cool when I was pregnant. We sent it back because something was wrong with it and it was replaced. In less than a year, we had spent $2,000 on a mattress and have already had to replace it. My husband had helped my brother-in-law who bought a Sleep Number put it together. We also heard good things about Sleep Number and knew people that had them, so we thought it's something we should go ahead and try.
The price was reasonable compared to what we had already spent on a different one. They shipped it to us and my husband set it up. He likes his mattress a little harder and I like my side a little softer. The best part is that there are some nights that I can adjust it to how my body is feeling that day. So if I work out and I’m sore, then I don’t want it to be hard and I can adjust the bed to fit how I’m feeling that evening. I love my Sleep Number.

I call asking for help to process an online order - you have a terrible website that it NOT intuitive or user-friendly. It wouldn't take the Sleep Number card. The sales rep couldn't come up with the same sales number I was getting, so he dismissed me off to customer service - whose waiting time is so long they don't even put me on hold, just tell me to try again later. YOU JUST LOST A CUSTOMER!

Was scheduled for delivery today 9/9/2016 between the hours of 2-4. Got a confirmation phone call yesterday 9/8/2016 that delivery would be today. A half an hour before scheduled time today get a phone call that parts didn't ship and that delivery had to be put back a week. Tried talking to two different supervisors and kept getting the runaround. Have been told that parts weren't in and then that they didn't have enough technicians to make the delivery. The last person (Melissa) I spoke to said that she was the top person and that no one else could help me at this point. I demanded to speak to someone else and she disconnected me and I had to leave a message for the CEO. I didn't think there could be worse customer service than Comcast, but have I just been proved wrong. Someone needs to reach out to me immediately and resolve this situation.

On 8-26-16 I placed 2 orders. One order was for dismantling or my Sleep Number Bed in order to move it to our new house and the other order was to have bed reassembled at our new house. I was told by the rep on the phone that both could and would be done on the same day. I received 2 confirmations by email, #** and # **. I gave the rep my cell number and told her not to have the drivers call my home number as we were moving and would be between houses. I also explained that the houses are only 7 miles apart from each other so we would be able to be at either house provide we had an advance call when the techs were on their way.
On 8-31-16 I received 2 calls stating that the service techs would be at the old house between 8 am and 12 pm and at the new house between 8 am and 12 pm and that we would receive call when the tech was headed in our direction. On 9-1-16 I had not received any call by 11 am so I called my voicemail for my home phone and found that the tech had left a message there instead of my cell as I had requested. My wife then went to the old house to meet the tech. The tech dismantled the bed and was going to leave when my wife asked him if he was going to follow her to the new house to reassemble the bed. The tech responded with “we only take the bed apart, another crew will put it together” and that they “had other jobs to get to.”
My wife asked him if we are on the list for later in the day to which he asked “are you at **?” When my wife said yes the tech then told her we were not on the list and left. My question here is how did the tech have our new address if we were not on the list?? At 11:15am I called customer service to inquire about this and was told that the tech should not have said that and also that I should wait until 12 pm before I call back if the tech does not show up. I called back at 1:30 pm and got another customer service rep and I explained that the service tech had not come to reassemble my bed. She put me on hold in order to reach out to the tech. When she came back on the line she said that she was not able to reach the service tech because he was not answering his phone but that she had left a message and someone would call me back.
At 5:30 pm I had not gotten a call back so I called customer service again and got another rep. She put me on hold so she could reach out to the service tech and when she came back on the line she said she couldn’t reach him but she left a message and someone would call me back. At 8 pm I had not gotten a call back so for the 4th time I had to call customer service. I got another rep who apologized and said she would try to rectify my situation. She also said I could go online and get instructions to put the bed together myself which I found somewhat insulting. I paid my fee to have this service done and I expected it to be completed. Also, I don’t know anything about a Sleep Number I10 bed with the comfort zone and motorized feature etc so I wanted an expert to handle the job.
At any rate, the rep put me on hold to reach out to the service tech and had the same results as the previous 2. She said she would call me back in the morning. So the first night in my new house my wife and I get to sleep on the floor while our $10000.00+ I10 bed is in pieces. On 9-2-16 the rep did call me back and said that unfortunately she could not get anyone to come out until 9-9-16 to reassemble our bed. I told her that was unacceptable and that she needed to get a supervisor involved. She said she would refund our charges and she would call us back. By 11:30 am I had not received a call back so I called customer service again and requested a supervisor.
After about 15 minutes a supervisor named Izzy came on the line. I explained my entire situation to him and he said he would reach out to service and call me back. He called back at 12 pm and said that someone would be at our new house to reassemble our bed the next day between 1 pm and 4 pm. He gave me his phone number and told me to call him if no one should up. I expressed my displeasure and having to sleep on the floor again but he assured me all would be taken care of the next day. On 9-3-16 no one showed up to reassemble my bed. I called Izzy and left him a message and as of right now I have not gotten a callback. My wife and I had to stop unpacking in order to reassemble our bed so we could sleep on it.
My frustration and irritation level with your company is high. As much as we love our bed if there was a way I could return it for a full refund I would do it immediately. This has been the most ridiculous situation I have experienced in a long time. Your people have not followed through on their promises or returned calls. If I am to believe your customer service reps the people that do the service work don’t answer their phones either. As I write this I have absolutely no confidence that I will get a response from anyone that has the authority to look into this issue and do anything about it.
On top of that everyone is quick to apologize but not so quick to fix the problem but since my wife and I reassembled the bed ourselves I suppose there is no problem any longer. By the way this is our 2nd Sleep Number Bed. We had one of the original beds and last year upgraded to the i10. In the 10 plus years we have had these beds we have never had a reason to call customer service and now I’m glad we hadn’t because I would have not bought another bed had I known your customer service was this bad. I sent an email to Sleep Number customer support that said essentially the same as I put in this review 2 days ago and have not gotten any response. Great bed, worst customer service I've ever experienced so beware.

My husband and I purchased a split king Sleep Number bed in March of this year. Now that we have had it for six months, I feel it is time to give you feedback. Put simply - this bed has literally changed my life. How? Let me give you a little background. I have been an athlete my entire life a year-round participant. Skiing, jogging, biking, hiking, triathlons you name it. When I was in my mid forties, I started having significant lower back issues especially after jogging. After a particularly severe bout of pain which resulted in me collapsing to the floor when I arose from a chair after jogging I went to have it checked out. Found out the mild scoliosis I had as a teenager had notably advanced with a few other add-ons. I was forbidden from jogging/running/twisting immediately. Done.
My husband and I were doing triathlons at the time and this came as quite a blow. However, the blow to the ego was nothing compared to the pain from my deteriorating condition. Chiropractic treatments were becoming less and less effective and the pain was an increasing, significant constant in my life. We spent so much money on new mattresses with absolutely no luck. Mornings were AWFUL. I hated going to bed. I would wake up constantly during the night in pain and many mornings ended up in tears. When I stood up I had to grab on to something while the lightning struck throughout my back. It typically took almost 45 minutes before I could stand up straight with pain I could tolerate.
The increasing daily pain, decreasing effectiveness of treatments and looming reality of back surgery put my psychological state in a downward tailspin. I had such a hard time realizing that at 49 this was going to be the rest of my life. For the first time in my life, my passion for fitness and sports was almost non-existent.
Two years passed and my condition (both physical and psychological) continued to seriously deteriorate. One day in March of this year, we happened to see a Sleep Number commercial. We certainly have seen many of them before but I guess this time it struck us. My husband and I decided to check it out. Although the principle of being able to customize the mattress firmness made sense and the bed felt good when we laid on it, we had a hard time justifying the price. We decided to go for it as we both felt this was my last hope and if we didnt like it you'd get it back. When the bed arrived, the installers were very professional, kind and thorough.
I lowered my expectations that first evening when we went to bed simply because I have been living in constant pain for over 2 years. I just wanted to sleep through the night and wake up - and not cry. When I awoke the next morning, my husband was already awake and asked how I felt. I realized I had slept through the entire night and at the moment had no pain. I couldn't believe it. We decided to get me out of bed a two-person process for the past 2 years. I swung my legs off the bed and - stood up straight by myself. No pain. 10 minutes after getting out of bed, I did push-ups. No pain.
I am literally tearing up as I type this because from the very first night and now 6 months later I feel like I have been reborn. This bed has literally given me my life back. My husband and I can't believe it. I am back to exercising and participating in sports (per the guidelines of my doctors) and I feel - incredible. And the proof in the pudding... I am proud to tell you - six months with this bed - and right before my 52nd birthday I just finished my fourth triathlon this summer. Please know your product has changed my life. Thank you.

Sleep Number's sales representatives were awesome. They weren't pushy and wanted to show us what they had. I decided to make a purchase when I did that test where I lay on the bed and they showed me my pressure points. We bought the mattress and the base and the legs, and it's the best move I've ever made. The delivery team called to let us know that they were on their way. The weather was bad and they still made it with no problems at all. They got everything set up in an hour and a half. It has been a good bed so far. With my old bed, I was only sleeping for 30 minutes at a time. I woke up constantly and had a lot of lower back problems. Since I've got our Sleep Number, it hasn't cured my back but I had a 95% improvement, so I love it. I'm very happy with it. I even bought a couple of the pillows and I have no complaints whatsoever.

My husband snores often and one of his co-workers had a Sleep Number and raved about it. We were told that the bed may help his situation. The young woman whom we purchased the bed from at the store was awesome. She let me run around and lie down on all the different beds. When you get a bed, it’s for many years, so I wanted to make sure I got the right one and she was really patient with me. We had to call back a couple of days later to order because I really wanted to make sure I was getting the right thing and the saleswoman wasn’t there, but I wanted to make sure that she got the commission for it because she did a great job. I appreciated her help. The delivery guys were great and came on time. I asked them if I needed to be with them and they said, “No. No problem.” They were in and out in 30 minutes and showed me how to use everything. I'm obsessed with the Sleep Number. It has helped my husband stop snoring.

We are tired of the mattress we had as it was getting indented and made my wife’s back miserable. We happened to walk by the Sleep Number store and walked in. We’ve got the total adjustable where both sides are total adjustable and independent of each other. The sales reps were awesome. They gave us all the information we needed and allowed us to pick the bed we wanted. The home delivery was done great and the team was fantastic and as professional as they can get. It took me 30 days to get the bed figured out and we thought about taking it back in the first two weeks. It took us a while to get where we needed but once we found the comfort zone that we liked and the adjustment where our head need to be, we wouldn’t change it for anything. We are super happy and very satisfied. We’ve already recommended Sleep Number and they also bought one.

Sleep Number has changed my life for the worst. There are some seriously shifty practices especially with known issues. We purchased a Sleep Number queen dual adjustable bed less than six years ago and have had nothing but issues. First the pump went bad and was losing air in one side. Due to poor craftsmanship, the return valve that measures the air pressure cracked allowing air to escape. After a few hundred dollars we received a new pump. The bed has begun to sag in the middle due to the mattress cover stretching. This is a known issue and simple google search will bring you to hundreds of people experiencing the same issue.
Sleep Number's answer... "that will cost you over $500.00 plus tax and shipping to replace." They are well aware that this is a defect and not normal, especially within a few years. Because of the stretching cover, the foam bad began to sink in the middle loosing its support and they want another almost $200.00 plus tax and shipping. Their product defects caused the foam pad issue. I seriously recommend doing your research and using google to find the poor service and practices used by this company.

My husband and I thought Sleep Number could help because we have a lot of backaches. We got the king-sized bed and had it delivered. It’s just that I don’t know why the twin mattresses keep separating from the top down and we don't know how to go about fixing that. The technician said that he was putting some kind of a clamp on the bottom, but he never said anything about the top. So we just assumed that he was going do the same thing to the top. Other than that, I don't have a backache anymore. My husband who has not had his fixed yet has been trying different numbers so we'll see.

I have friends who have Sleep Number and they were just going on and on about them and how they liked them. I was having some back trouble and I also have rheumatoid arthritis so I got myself a Sleep Number, too. It has helped a little but I waited too long to get one - I wish I had gotten one sooner. I also wish I had gotten the whole thing but I couldn't afford it. But I do like my mattress and my experience with Sleep Number is going real well. I would recommend it.

I was having horrible sleep so I purchased a Sleep Number bed. I have the more expensive one, the one that has the massage, the heating, etc. I bought it at a home show and it was home delivered. But we were going to put new carpeting and didn't put all that in time before they came. I had to call the Sleep Number reps to take the bed down and put it back because it's very complicated. I like its quality. The massage has really helped me to go to sleep. When I have to sleep, I can raise the bed position and the leg part. I had acid reflux and the surgeries to repair it already and with the bed, it's a lot better.

We've looked for years at getting a Sleep Number. My wife and I have different body types and builds so we like our mattresses to be at different softness. With Sleep Number, we could have complete control over the firmness or softness of the bed. We spent $13,000 on bedding, base, remote controls and pillows. My wife really loves the sheets because they're super soft. The bed itself is nice. It took a good two or three weeks to get used to but I like the fact that the bed lasts almost 25 years. However, I'm not that impressed with the pillows. They're okay but not for the money we spent on it.
The sales rep was great. It was later in the evening and my wife and I are younger so people wouldn't expect a couple like that to walk in and spend that kind of money. She was taken aback but treated us very appropriately. She showed us all different makes starting from $599 to $699 versions, then I kept telling her our needs and what we wanted and we kept gradually going back to the more expensive stuff. During the process, I asked if she would expect a couple like us to buy that kind of bed and she said that she'd learned not to expect anything. It was a good answer. I would recommend them to a friend if they have money.

The sales professionals were very nice, and working with them was a great experience. However, the app is a piece of crap. It refuses to connect half of the time. The other times, it randomly stops giving notifications when my daughter is out of bed. It works, then all of a sudden, it stops, and then it starts working again and then it stops, even though my phone is connected to the network. When the app is working, I can see the bed and it tells me that she's out of bed. But the app is very slow at pulling the information, and it takes forever for it to open up. Sometimes, I can be anywhere - I don't have to be within proximity of the bed. As long as I'm on the WiFi, it'll connect, and other times, it won't connect unless I'm standing five feet from the bed. But other than that, the bed is great, and I love it.

My wife had acute respiratory failure, she spent a week in the hospital and six weeks in rehab. She's on oxygen 24/7 and she needs to be able to elevate. For her to come back to her apartment here with me, they recommended an adjustable bed. Then she saw Sleep Number advertised on TV. So I went to the store here in Wichita and bought it last May, and we've been using it ever since. However, because she's on a BiPAP machine she doesn't get as good a use of it as I do. But we like it fine. I'd recommend it to anybody who's looking for a nice bed.

In 2010 I purchase a King sized bed with the adjustable base companion for approximately $12,000. I was excited about buying a great bed system for the 'rest' of my life. Unfortunately, throughout the years there has various problems after problem: the air chambers were disproportion - called and complained 5-6 times before they mailed some styrofoam to inserted into the bed mattress. One year later the same problem. Called numerous times and was transferred so many times but now I needed to send pictures of how one side sunk in. Once the pictures were reviewed they said the bed was never set up properly. This time they sent 2 tech specialist to take the air chamber/s mattress apart and reassemble both sides. Currently it still does not sleep properly; but is it worth the all long telephone calls and hours of explanations with no true real solution.
Several months ago the adjustment base seems to be malfunctioning - various problems with the bed not leveling properly. Called again... long telephone service. They walked me through a solution over the phone but it keep happening over and over again. I writing this review now the bed is stuck in a lopsided position; one side up and one side down. Stuck in the upright position. Needless to say I will not being getting any 'rest'. I can not tell you how frustrating this is when you can not get the bed from the upright position down.
Called Sleep Number again... now the warranty has expired and Sleep Number refers me to Leggett and Platt who is responsible for the adjustable base. I spent hours with them on the phone and various instructions and no resolution. I must pay for a certified technician to resolve the problem. They will not cover it nor compensate me for this reported ongoing problem. I requested a print out of all my history of problems reported and they will not provide my customer history report.
The sleep number bed and its adjustable companion has a lot of working components; be very aware when you start having problems the manufacturer SLEEP NUMBER has put in place very specific limitations about how much they will replace at a percentage on servicing the products they sold. I am so weary about paying for products that do not live up to the hype. Some stuff is good but not worth all these ongoing problems. When something is wrong they want you to talk to someone on the phone and work out problems that they know will occur because they trained the customer service representatives to 'fix problems' because of the lack of integrity of the product.
In my opinion; Sleep Number manufacturing and customer service does not live you to the integrity of their products and service. I sincerely regret buying a $12,000 bed system that 5-6 years later is extremely problematic. This will not be restful. Very unhappy and unsatisfied with the Sleep Number product and adjustable base companion.

Unfortunately my dealings with Sleep Number have not been as positive as I would have wished. Trying the bed in the store was great. Salesperson Sonya did a good job. No problems there. What was not told to me was that Californians have to pay $100 extra for some type regulation fee. So when I was going to buy the bed, I had different expectation of what my bed would cost. I talked to the 800 number customer service line about why that information was not disclosed on their website and the guy basically said then don't buy the bed. He really could care less.
I do eventually buy the bed. Now it's been about 10 days and I can't even get bed delivered because I work in the afternoon. Apparently my address in an afternoon delivery address only. Yes, I tried on my days off the first time I called customer service. I have a very tight schedule, as I think most people do. I may have considered a different option if I knew there were going to be this many problems from the start. Now I beginning to see if you have any problems with the bed, Sleep Number is not going to provide any reasonable support. Since I have not taken possession of the bed, I still have the option to cancel the sale, which may be the best option at this point. Sleep Number, I don't have my order number available to me because I am away on my days off with a sick relative which is why I've tried to have my bed delivered before I work in the afternoons.

My husband thought he would surprise me with one of these beds. It is the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. Feels like an air mattress, which of course it is. When I called to return it after trying just about every Sleep Number to no avail they informed me that the $2,000 frame is not returnable!! It cost more than the bed!! That was certainly not made clear to my husband. They may have it written somewhere but they do not make sure you understand that when you sign up. My wife and I decided on Sleep Number even though we were warned against it. We purchased an i8 with adjustable base, hoping that it would be even half of what the sales person promised. It was not. 1st Issue: On the first night, the pump stopped working. Since it was on a weekend, the store rep told me she would call in a repair order on Monday so we could get it sorted out as soon as possible. By noon of that next Monday, no repair order was called in so I called in myself. The next day, the rep calls to tell me she set something up... Turns out the delivery guys didn't test before leaving and the tubes were twisted inside of the mattress. Things happen... I get it. Moved on. 2nd Issue: Bluetooth for the remote stopped working. Had to factory reset and set up all over again... Irritating.
3rd Issue: My wife's side of the bed no longer inflates and deflates... If she tries to change it, it jumps up from 55 to 100. When we leave that screen on the remote and go back to it, it says it's at 55 again. 4th Issue: Discussed issues with the store and they told me to give it another shot before returning and they would essentially send a entirely new bed and have someone set it up properly for us. We agreed... until we were told by a rude customer service person that it would be another 20 days before someone could come out and fix it. I would be out of town the Tuesday they would schedule it so it was going to push the repair out another 9 days!! 5th Issue: Bluetooth no longer works again. Remote gives me an error when trying to raise and lower the bed. I can only change my sleep number now.
Now, I've had a malfunctioning "dream" bed for a couple weeks with one issue after another and I'm being told I need to wait another month before they can help me. That is pushing over 2 and a half months of BS. I have half a Sleep Number bed that I can't raise up or down... We decided to just return the bed and possibly try again later. This was the first bed we've purchased in a while and we were nervous... We even kept our old bed in case the new one didn't work out and we had to return it. Maybe we just got unlucky with our Sleep Number bed, maybe we had a bad remote, maybe bluetooth needs to be fixed on my phone... I have no idea. I just know that with this many issues right out of the gate, we are ready to back off and try this again. At this point, I had not ruled Sleep Number out.
Well, I call to set up a return for the i8 "set" and I was told that the $2100 base was not returnable (even though I can't raise it up and down without fighting/resetting the remote every time!!). I do remember seeing this in the paperwork but when I asked about it, we were told that this was a set and that if we pushed for a return, we could work something out to return the base. We were also overly excited about our new purchase and the sales person assured us that if we had any issues, they would "take care of us". We were satisfied with the answer and decided we would give it a shot anyway. We purchased sheets, pillows, cover, silhouette, etc... We were going to be Sleep Number customers from now on.
Turns out the "take care of us" part was a lie. We were told absolutely no refunds on the base and, once again, the customer service person acted smug on the phone. Told me that I could just buy new parts for the base to allow it to work for another mattress... and I could just reprogram the remote to function without the Sleep Number options. This is disgusting and bad business. I feel like I've been taken advantage of. These beds are supposed to be a part of the home for more than a decade. That would have made me a long time customer. If the return of this bed would have been smooth, I would have had absolutely NO problem returning for a second shot at a different model. Now, they will get nothing else from me ever again. I'm only one person but I can spread the word as far as I can.

I wasn’t happy with my previous mattress and looking to try something different, so I bought a Sleep Number bed with the standard, non-movable base. Their rep helped me out. She was very knowledgeable and she also owned a Sleep Number bed that she’s had for over nine years or so. And that was important to me because I want to know if can have a bed that lasts for a long time. It’s so expensive so the biggest driving points to buying the bed were longevity and replaceability of parts if it wears out, dual sleep chambers so that my wife and I can have different settings, which we have, and finally, the ability to move later on to a movable base, which I might get eventually.
Their delivery team were very efficient. They were in and out in less than an hour. They hauled the old bed up, which was fantastic. I’m also happy with its quality. I like that it sleeps cool compared to my previous bed. I had iComfort memory foam bed and it was a hot sleeper. The common point about the bed, which is nice, is that we can change the settings of the bed. My number changes week to week. I might like it stiffer one week and softer the next. It depends and I like having the ability to change it. I would recommend it to others.

I have back problems and had surgery recently and decided a Sleep Number bed might help, so we bought one. The sales people were wonderful. We were expecting it to be more comfortable and to have a better night’s sleep but were a little disappointed in the experience. The center part is higher than the mattress part. We took it apart and reassembled thinking it maybe was the answer but it was not. We tried putting more air in, and it was not the answer. So, we let more air out. We tried several different things and it still is not the quality that we were thinking that it should be, and we didn't get the relief that we thought we'd get for that type of money.

We love our Sleep Number. We were experiencing problems with our spinal cord and Sleep Number has helped make us most comfortable. Their sales rep was also very good. She was most interested in finding the right bed for us and worked with us through some difficulties my husband was having. She's a true professional. We were told it would be several weeks before we could get the bed. But then, they called and we got it right away. So far the quality of Sleep Number is very good. Over the last 10 years, we purchased three different mattresses and we have spent a fortune on new mattresses and box springs and they were all very disappointing and wouldn’t stand by their warranty. So we’re really happy with Sleep Number. We’ll always stay there.

Our experience with Sleep Number has been good and we’re happy with it. The other half would like to get a Sleep Number but I find it too expensive. But when we went in the store, it wasn’t as bad as I thought so I caved in. Their sales rep was great. He was super helpful and personable. Their delivery team were super good and personable too. He talked to me about his new born and that was exciting because we both had month-old babies at home. Overall, the quality is good and it still works fine.

We needed a new mattress so we shopped around. They were plain mattresses so went down at the Sleep Number store and thought that it would be a good idea though a very expensive one. Their sales rep was very cordial, very nice, and very helpful. Their delivery team was on time during the delivery and they set up the mattress and the base that we got. So far, there are no problems. We're satisfied with the product that we got.

My husband and I have bad backs, and I prefer a soft bed because I have blown disks and he prefers it hard because he has nerve issues. As opposed to sleeping in two separate beds, which we were forced to do for a while, we decided to get a king-sized Sleep Number bed. And then, we got a queen bed last year for our oldest daughter. She got into sports and for a hard day of practice, she wants to be able to relax on something soft. Everyone was extremely helpful, nice, listened to what we needed and what we wanted and suggested several options for us. We love the quality of our beds. In fact, when our littlest one gets older, we are looking to get one for her also. Overall, we are happy with their great service, how they treated us and how they did everything.

Sleep Number was recommended by my friends so I bought a mattress. I was a bit upset that I didn’t realize that it would come in very small boxes and that it's easily put up. I could’ve saved some money doing that. But other than that, it was good. Their delivery team came in, put it up and were in and out quickly. However, I'm a little bit conflicted with its quality. There are aspects that I love because I love the bed itself. I purchased the bed because my husband and I were having some pains. With Sleep Number, that pain is gone. But the thing that upsets me about it is that it’s so hot. The bed holds a lot of heat and living in Florida, the last thing I want is to be hot at night. It’s frustrating that we spent so much money on this bed and parts of it are excellent but I'm still not getting a good night’s sleep when waking up sweating at night.

My mom is 89 years old and she was uncomfortable on the mattress that she had so we figured we'd try Sleep Number. My mother had a Tempur-Pedic mattress which was 15 or 20 years old so we already had a base that the Sleep Number mattress would sit on without any problem. Several months ago, we ordered a mattress but the computers in the store went down. It wasn't the salespeople's fault but we went around in circles and finally ended up cancelling the order. Then we tried a different store where everybody was nice and pleasant. The purchase didn't take long and we were really happy with it.
We got with the least expensive mattress which was on sale. The mattress cost $299, we figured we could afford that and if she didn't like it, we hadn't lost that much money. But she does like it and she's happy with it, so it worked out well. We had the mattress shipped to the house and my brother-in-law put it together. I was surprised how light it is and how easily it was to set up.

I tried different types of mattresses as I have back problems. I decided to try the Sleep Number because I can adjust the softness to it, and I do not have back problems anymore. I love it! The sales reps were very helpful. The delivery crew showed up a little early on the day that they were supposed to, and it was great. I was happy all the way around. The bed is doing the job and is excellent, overall. Everyone should have a Sleep Number.

My wife and I were shopping around for mattresses and instead of spending $2,000 on a conventional mattress, we decided to bite the bullet and buy a Sleep Number for comfort. My interaction with their reps was awesome. Our delivery experience was good. It arrived sooner than we expected. The delivery team put it all together in the house so everything went really well. The overall quality is good. So far, we love it but I noticed that the pillow top is shifted a bit and I don’t know if I can adjust it myself or not.

We made two Sleep Number purchases on two different occasions. The first bed was a regular Sleep Number. The sales representative was great but she was still learning, so it took a little longer to make our purchase. We purchased again because we wanted a bed that goes up and down for health reason. My husband has COPD and had neck surgery. I have aches and pains too. We were thinking of either Tempur-Pedic or one of these Sleep Number. We fell in love with the Sleep Number because we are able to both have our own setting. We sleep differently and need different firmness. The moment we laid down on the bed, the comfort is amazing and the bed is nice.
The two gentlemen we dealt with were knowledgeable, friendly, and tried to help us get the best deal with sheets so it was a pleasant experience all the way around. The delivery team did an awesome job. They were pleasant, knowledgeable and did everything they were supposed to do. They helped us and it didn't take them long. I'm very happy with the bed and would recommend it to anybody.

I've had three Sleep Number beds and can't say too many good things about it. I started out with one that's like a TempurPedic which was taken care of from Richmond because I'm in Charlottesville and we did not have a Sleep Number store at the time. The young man came in, set it up, went through a little educational series and I really gave it a shot. I went everywhere from a 25 to a 100 trying to find a number that would give me the support but it's like sleeping on wet sand so I traded that one in.
By that time a store opened up in Charlottesville so I dealt with them. The service was excellent, they followed up on it and I get emails all the time. I also spent an inordinate amount of time in the store rolling on the mattresses and talking to the people. But the second bed didn't work either and they wouldn't let me trade anymore so I bought another. I'm a person that doesn't sleep and I thought if I went from the least expensive to the most expensive that it would change things but now I'm stuck with a $6,000 mattress and I don't sleep on it. Every once in a while if I don't have company, I might go in there and sleep on it. But I really thought and the doctor thought that that would be the answer to the problem but it wasn't.
It's a good product that has revolutionized sleeping and I love their adjustable. If I'm not feeling well or I need to prop up in bed and watch television, rather than going and finding 10 pillows all I do is press a button. And it's got some massage features to it so that was really nice. It's just the mattress on top of it that I'm struggling with. Now I've got a top-of-the-line that is not comfortable and there's nothing I can do.

I purchased a Sleep Number C3 bed. The mattress worked and everything was fine, but, after five months I started getting back pains. I'm not sure which part of the mattress was damaged, but if I call Sleep Number I might waste my time because my 90 days warranty is up. It was a pretty good 90 days before then. I can return it to them, but I'm spending so much money on it. If I call them again and try to return the mattress and they don’t take it, I may wait for one more year to see another bed. I would have wanted to purchase a base from Sleep Number but because of the pain I am getting from the mattress I decided not to. Aside from that, it wasn't good that Sleep Number charged us for the shipping cost.

This sorry BED I purchased from you has trouble keeping the mattress in place and the sides are so soft you feel like you are falling out of the bed if you get too close the edge. Contacted the company @18004727185, they acted like I was the crazy person, rude and no compassion for my sorry bed and guarantee. Wish I could have been able to recommend your bed, because that would mean I loved It, but sad to say I am stuck with the worst bed I have ever slept in.

Both my husband and I have back problems and we've been sleeping in recliners for the past 15 years. We decided it was about time to find a bed that we could sleep in and we got the king-size dual bed from Sleep Number that has the lift with the head and foot. At first we got the mattress protector and I just now purchased the sheet set for it a couple of days ago.
We dealt with Lee and he was super. We had no idea what we were looking for when we went in there, but he helped us narrow it down and find our Sleep Number. He showed us how to adjust it if we weren't quite comfortable and to work it to adjust it to make ourselves more comfortable. He explained everything to expect when the people came. He also explained that we would be able to keep our bed, which was a concern for us as I have a Bob Timberlake bed that I do not want to get rid of.
He helped us get the best price. We were not going to be able to purchase the Sleep Number bed because of the sale that was going on and he called us because the next day, they extended the period of financing. He called us on our home phone and left a message on the recorder that they were extending it to 48 months with zero interest in financing, which helped us get the bed. He did everything within his power to help us get this bed and also helped us get some back pillows to help us fit in our chairs in our recliners and also some knee pillows, which helped lower the price a little bit better too. If we have any further dealings with Sleep Number, we would go back to the same person absolutely and request for his help.
We've been able to sleep in our Sleep Number every night since. I sleep well in it and my husband does too. He has trouble sleeping, but he gets about six hours sleep in the bed a night, which is absolutely great for him. For him to get six hours sleep at one time because he's had a back fusion that he can't bend from the waist down is amazing. I would recommend it to anybody that has any problems with sleeping or back problems. There's a lot of other beds out there but no one is going to find the kind of quality that Sleep Number has to offer.

Our in-laws have Sleep Number and we heard great things so we got one too. We purchased the mattress and the base. It was lovely interacting with their reps. Everybody was very nice and the guys who came to deliver it were very nice too. They were awesome, courteous, nice and helpful, and they answered any questions I had. The quality is great. The only complaint I have is that the legs for the base of the bed costs a 100+ bucks so we didn’t purchase them. But other than that, I have no complaint.

I had back surgery, and couldn't sleep in my bed and get out of it. My husband had been looking at the Sleep Number bed for a long time, so he decided it was time to get one because I hadn't slept in my bed for three months. The salesperson was wonderful and very professional. I was impressed with her. She explained everything, and had us lie down on each bed, and it was helpful to be able to do that. The bed we purchased was delivered at my son's house. I like the Sleep Number bed that we got. I was able to sleep in the bed and could get out of it. Overall, it was a very good experience.

My mother and a bunch of other people I knew, who had Sleep Number, recommended them. My old mattress was all worn out so I got their most basic bed. The sales rep was good and she let us try a couple. They had a bunch of their models on display. We had some questions about what the differences were between the different models and she did fine. I like the bed well enough. I like the fact that we can set the two sides separately and I could play around with it until I got it where I wanted it. I'd certainly recommend anyone to check Sleep Number out. Overall, it was an easy experience. I just went to the store, checked it out, liked it, scheduled delivery, and it showed up.

My son had a surgery and they’re well-pleased with their Sleep Number. I've had a hip surgery and I was having trouble sleeping in my regular bed so I thought maybe Sleep Number would help. They delivered the bed and they were very nice and helpful in putting it up and very neat about everything too. I'm pleased with the base that lifts both the foot and the head but the mattress doesn’t suit me too well. I feel that the mattress has ridges in it at times and I have a little trouble sleeping very comfortably in it.
Also, I don’t like the way it looks. When you make the bed, you can still see ripples in it. I didn’t realize that I should have gone up one higher. They told me that it's the most popular one and that swayed me but it was my choice. I called them before my 90 days and they suggested that maybe the foam that was in the very top might be bad but it wasn’t. They sent me a top but it still didn't work. Then my days had run out to send it back and after spending $4,000, I didn’t feel I could very well afford to send it back and it's not worth it so I kept it. If I had to do over, I wouldn’t have bought the mattress.

Their customer service was awesome when I ordered my bed. It also arrived perfectly on time and there was no damage or anything. Before having my Sleep Number bed, I was having a hard time sleeping and I was having a lot of back pain. A friend suggested Sleep Number and so I decided to try it. I've since been sleeping like a babe. My shoulders and hips don’t ache and my back doesn’t hurt anymore.

We did a lot of research. We went and talked to the representative over at Water For The Lakes and then we came back and did some more research, and decided to get the Sleep Number bed. Dotty was our sales rep and she was excellent. She answered all of our questions and addressed all of our concerns. She under-promised and over-performed. We purchased the mattress and the inflation kit that comes with it. We scheduled home delivery and it was sooner than the norm. It was seamless. Their team did a great job putting the bed together and it works fine. It’s a marvelous product that went beyond my expectations. I have recommended Sleep Number to friends.
Typically, if I'm going to make a large purchase, the first thing I look for are negative reviews to get an idea. I had a number of concerns based upon some of the comments on the internet about their customer service. But most of those comments went away because people don’t read warranties and then they expect something that is clearly not covered. If they had read the warranty, then they would have had the option of not purchasing the unit because they didn’t agree with the warranty. The fact that they hadn’t done any homework means it’s their fault.

I have back pain so I decided to buy a dual mattress with both sides adjustable from Sleep Number. The sales guy was phenomenal but for the mattress itself, I’m not happy with the price-point. Also, I have the mattress set to 100% stiffness and it’s not hard enough. It’s always been soft.

My chiropractor recommended the Sleep Number bed. I ended up buying their i8, the best one. I got the base with the up and down adjustment and vibration and the mattress cover. Their sales lady was very nice and explained everything to me. She put me on all the different beds to try and did a demonstration. That helped me find my little Sleep Number. It was a very pleasant experience. The mattress cover was shipped to me but the bed had to be delivered. Their delivery team was great.
I don't wake up on a bad back with the Sleep Number bed, I love it. I miss it when I sleep on another bed. I do want to get later on the one where the temperature can be controlled. My sister got a Sleep Number because of me since I kept saying how much I loved it. She tried my bed, slept in it, and within five minutes she was snoring.

We had purchased many higher end foam mattresses and after about four months, they all tend to get softer and sag in the middle. I was on a mission to find a bed that was soft but supportive and that I did not roll towards the middle at night eventually. Even though we knew we were going to get into a big financing purchase, we decided that sleep was very important. We were waking up and our bodies were in pain, but not anymore with the Sleep Number. We have the mattress and adjustable base that can lift us up in a seated position. It massages too. We wake up with tons of energy. Depending on how we feel, though, we might adjust the bed firmer or softer and that helps us get a better sleep. There are times when we’ve had a lot of physical activity or we're sick or whatever it might be, that our bodies need different feels to the bed. It’s nice to be able to adjust it depending on how we feel.
It was also a great experience with their salesperson. She was very informative, calm and relaxed. She got to know us a little bit in a personable way and a nice personality to talk to. She knew we were starting to do research and think about it. There was no tactical trying to hard close the sale, but more of, “Here’s more information, what the numbers look like and my information.” We didn’t make the purchase that night with her but left feeling really good and extremely informed. We thought about it for two days and then went back and purchased it from her.
We had the home delivery service for our purchase and their people were super professional and set it up very quickly. They even helped us wrap our wires with tinfoil as we were worried about our puppy getting under the bed and chewing the wires. We got a demo from them, they asked if we were comfortable with everything, and we were given resources if we had questions.
The only bummer was we were told that if we moved, we could call Sleep Number, pay for another delivery charge and they’d move our bed from one home to another. Two months later we decided to move and called them and wanted to pay for delivery again to make sure the bed was set up correctly, but they told us they don't do that service. Other than that, we love the bed. It's super high-quality. We’ve now had it for a few months and we're still happy with it. It still works even after the move and we can still adjust the up and down. It still feels strong too. We have a great warranty on it so if anything were to happen, we would be taken care of. I refer Sleep Number to all my friends and family. The company definitely needs to make couches too because I have the same problem with couches.

I've back issues and I've heard good things about Sleep Number. We went to their store and they were nice and personable.They had us try out a few things. The delivery team was quick. We got the Sleep Number mattress delivered by UPS and we set it up by ourselves per directions. The sales rep was courteous and helpful. The mattress was on sale and the price was what they had listed. I'm pleased with the bed and it's like sleeping on air. I hope the bed will last forever. My side's fine but my wife's side had to add or take air out to get comfortable. I don't want to go back to other kinds of mattresses.

We have a few family and friends that have Sleep Number and the beds are really for the long term. We got a mattress and a base and their sales rep was very good. My husband and I are getting older and we have different sleeping styles. he likes the bed harder and I like it softer so we bought a Sleep Number mattress. My husband was having some back issues and our traditional mattress is not working out for him so we bought a Sleep Number bed. We found out later that the problem was not exactly related to our mattress, but that he has herniated discs in his back. Still, the Sleep Number product gave him some physical relief. Their sales representative was courteous and informative. My husband had done some research, so we knew what kind of mattress and everything that we wanted. But the sales representative was very kind nevertheless. The bed was delivered to our house then we set it up ourselves. I was surprised that it was all plastic. But other than that, the quality is very good. It's been a positive experience overall, we haven't had any problems with Sleep Number.

Several friends and my daughter had all bought Sleep Number and they enjoyed it so I got a mattress for myself. Nancy, their sales representative was absolutely fantastic. I went in first to just get some information. Nancy took her time and explained all the different features. She found what my Sleep Number was and she helped me to find which pillow felt the best for me because I was also interested in it. When I brought my husband in, she went through the same thing with him. I never had such good customer service as I did from her.
The two guys that came in were both from Houston and they were very professional. It took them a lot less of time than I thought the set up would be. They both have Sleep Number beds and so they were talking to us about some of the features that they liked on theirs. My husband wanted the SleepIQ and so they spent time and explained to him. They went over and answered his questions. They let us know that if we moved, we could call and someone would actually disassemble and reassemble our bed in our new house. They were fantastic.

We bought a Sleep Number c2 mattress. We had it financed and it went like a breeze. The sales rep was very friendly. He said he was new but he was in control and was well-trained. The delivery people were also good. They finished it up really quickly and then left without making a mess. We love our Sleep Number bed. It's very lightweight and easy to change the sheets. I've had issues with the previous mattress because it was very soft and though it took a while for us to come up with the exact number, I never had any back issues from day one with our c2 mattress. I’m already recommending it to friends.

I was having back pains for a while and we thought maybe Sleep Number would help. We went and tried it out in the store and it was comfortable. The sales rep was knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. The delivery team came right on time. They were really professional putting the bed together and they explained to us what they were doing. We were getting ready to get a new carpet installed in the bedroom right after the bed was delivered and concerned about having to take the bed apart to move it after not having it for very long. The delivery team was really helpful in teaching us how to break the bed down and put it back together. When the time came for us to do that, we had no problems. The bed is excellent and it's everything we were expecting. It's a big investment and we're really happy with the purchase and the overall result.

I needed a new mattress and wanted the capability to raise the back and legs. The Sleep Number manager was really good and so was the installation crew. Although the bed is very expensive, the quality is there, and they obviously have a good warranty. My husband and I both sleep better in our Sleep Number bed. My back was giving me trouble sleeping. I got into the Sleep Number bed and it was delicious. I bought the cozy sheet part with the pillowcase which is so warm and cuddly. I didn’t get any pillows, and they should have given me some for as much as I paid for it. I started off with 45 or 50, but I have to go up to 100 as I like it more solid-like. The mattress is really nice and it’s just the way I want it. It’s wonderful and there’s nothing better than that.

I purchased the base, mattress and pillows from Sleep Number and I'm really happy with them but my husband is not as impressed as I am and still likes our old mattress. I went back to the store three different times, so it wasn’t something that we did lightly because it's a lot of money to us for a bed. Because of the money involved, it was a little stressful and I signed up for their credit card which wasn’t necessarily what I wanted to do, but what I ended up doing. Every time I go back to the store, the salesperson I was dealing with was very helpful. I asked a lot of questions and she was never short or impatient with me. Then during the delivery, my husband was there and said they were extremely efficient and that he was impressed.

I have a bad back, and I had gotten a Tempur-Pedic and I hated it. I couldn't roll over on it, so I finally decided to go with Sleep Number. Their sales reps were fine but I knew what I wanted so it took very little time for me to buy it. My husband and I are both 81 so I had to get my son and some other people to come and set it up, but it was easy. I already had a good base that lifts up on both ends like a hospital bed so I only got the mattress. The first few nights, I loved it and I got up, I wasn't as stiff. I could straighten up pretty much as soon as I got out of bed and I thought it was wonderful. Then I had to go get an MRI and laying there for 45 with my back end and that's what started me not being able to lay down. I don't know that it's the bed that's the problem or whether it's just my back. I sleep in the chair now. I've tried different numbers on it, and I need to try more sitting up and raising the head up.

We had several friends that had Sleep Number and we were disgusted one bed after the other, and I have poor health. Sleep Number is pretty nice and I like it a lot. It's convenient to be able to get me up and is comfortable. We've had a better experience with it than what we've had with a lot of other bed types.

I wanted to get a better night’s sleep. I got Sleep Number's i8 and purchasing it was pretty easy. We looked in the store first and test drove several mattresses then I ended up purchasing over the phone about a week or two later. The bed is good. It's more comfortable and I definitely have a better night’s sleep since using it. It also makes watching TV a lot better. I have recommended it to other people. I have problems with my back and not being able to sleep. I went to the Sleep Number store mattress-shopping in general and I was open to suggestions because I had no idea. I went a couple of times and then I took my husband back, and the sales people were patient with me. They were friendly and answered all my questions. We bought a mattress, the frame, the one that tilts, and the sheets. The delivery team was good, quick, and I asked questions while they were doing the setup and they had no problems answering it. Then they showed me how to use it, explained the manuals, and even helped me put on the mattress cover that I bought with it.
I’m not sure if I’m real thrilled with the sheets but they’re okay for their price. I have the bed that the head goes up so I bought sheets and the first set I got had elastic but then the second set did not. I didn’t realize that there was a difference since I thought they all came with elastic. But I like the idea that I don’t have to buy the whole mattress because if the side, foam or other parts go bad, I can just buy the part.

We were ready for a new bed and I thought I'd give Sleep Number a try. The sales rep was very helpful and knowledgeable. My husband was here during the delivery and that’s the only thing I wish I had given a little bit more. It's pretty easy to put the bed together and it was $120 for them to come deliver it and put it together, which is expensive for what it entails. But since we had never purchased one before we didn’t know and they didn’t make us aware of how it is to put it together. That’s something I wouldn’t do again if I purchased one. But the delivery team came in, took our mattress away and did their job which was fine.

The cost and process to return a Sleep Number bed is not made clear enough at the time of sale and the process of contacting the company to inform them that you want to return the bed is frustrating. It took me three days of calling, was disconnected after being on hold for nearly 40 minutes the first time, then called again the next day, was on hold for about 20 minutes, transferred to another department and disconnected again.
Third day, finally made contact with a human after another 15 minutes. He told me they had been experiencing dropped calls and apologized and then tried to persuade me to keep the bed. The first person I spoke with did the same thing. What they don't make clear is that if you decide to return the bed, it will cost you. About $500 of the cost of the bed (set up and delivery charges) are not refundable. The shipping cost to return the bed is $179 and the $200 mattress protector they insist you buy in order for you to be able to return the mattress, is also not refundable. So, your "free, no risk" 120-day trial, will cost you.

Our experience buying the bed was great. The lady from the store was very helpful. After that the impressions are not good at all. The carriers bringing the mattress were not the best. They told me the bed would accommodate itself as the foams unshrunk, which didn't completely happen so I called customer service for this and they informed me that the technician cost 179.00 but for this time they would waive it, you just install my mattress and you are "waiving" a technician. The couple of times I have called for this same matter, the people talk to me like if I was a bother to them. Not only that, when the technician does his work you have to pack the old parts and ship them myself. This should be informed before you buy a bed and not put it in the fine prints that you don't read at the time you are being persuaded to buy a 3000 mattress.

We've had a queen size Sleep Number bed for years which we've always like and also a twin we've just bought. The Sleep Number beds work well and I could adjust them unlike a regular bed. Our recent purchase went very quickly because their sales reps were able to pull up information from our previous purchase and see what we already have, and just gave us the equivalent in twin. The delivery guys were quick in putting the bed together and efficient in taking away all the boxes and packing. The bed has very good quality. We’ll continue to buy Sleep Number beds forever. I want to sell my Sleep Number. It is because my wife died. We bought it once she got out of the hospital. So we got it and she got pretty ill and she didn't like the bed anymore, so I made other arrangements. She died and I don't want the bed. I’ve been a customer of Sleep Number for five years. The first time we purchased, I was suffering from back pain and the bed helped a lot. This second time was for my daughter ‘cause she's also suffering from back pain. We have two full beds and two mattresses for the other kids. The only problem was that the bed had stains on it and the guy that delivered the bed was supposed to report it to the Sleep Number office to replace the part. We haven’t received a new part nor any calls from them, and we’re still waiting. It’s not that we cannot use the bed, but it has some oil stains.
The feeling of the bed by itself is really nice. It’s very comfortable and we love it. A month ago, we were on vacation for two weeks and we wanted to go back because we missed our beds. We can't sleep for a long time on a different bed now.

We had a Sleep Number bed previously which we've had since about 1999. This time around, we got the adjustable frame where the head and feet go up. We also bought a pillow, the mattress, and the sheets to go on it because with the split on the sheets, I can't find anything that would work. We dealt with a woman who was very good. We knew we wanted an adjustable bed, and we knew we wanted a split, we knew we wanted that California King because we already had the actual bed before. She helped us decide exactly which one would be right for us. The purchase experience was an enjoyable time.
The delivery was faster than I would have anticipated they could have done it. They were right on time and everything was very easy. They carried everything up to the second floor. Afterwards, they cleaned up all their boxes and didn't leave any mess at all. We were sleeping on the bed that night. The bed is very comfortable. Overall, Sleep Number people were very professional, courteous, and they delivered as promised. I would definitely recommend them, which I have done before.

My grandparents have a Sleep Number so we thought we'd give it a try. I bought everything over the internet and the delivery was easy. We had them set the bed up. However, it was the worst night's sleep I ever had. It was just an overpriced air bed and like sleeping on a regular bed. There wasn't a lot of padding in between anything and we even bought one of the toppers. If I spend $4,000 on a bed, I shouldn't have to buy anything extra like a topper. We had it maybe 60-something days then called them up and they came and picked it up because we had a 90-day experience thing. It was a little expensive for what they charged as far as their shipping, and we had to pay restocking and pickup fee. To have it brought here, put in and then taken out was almost 400 bucks.

We needed a new bed, and were referred to Sleep Number by a friend who liked her bed a lot. We then bought a Sleep Number mattress and base. The sales reps were helpful. We started with one lady and since she was busy, she handed us off to another. They were both fine. Additionally, the delivery guys were great and on time. We were happy with the experience and would probably go back.

I have been having problems with my back and thighs. Other owners that have Sleep Number said that it helped them tremendously and that's the reason I bought one. The sales reps were very patient and helpful. Delivery was very efficient and a lot quicker than what I thought it was gonna be. I was back at work in a timely manner. I love the quality of the bed and I like that I can control the firmness of the mattress.

I wanted a king size bed that didn't have a big hump in the middle and all that I'd seen has one where they have a big support. I bought from Sleep Number a number of years ago and returned it because I felt the hump but apparently it has been improved. This one we bought doesn't seem to have that and so far, it's excellent. My husband and I keep it on the highest number and we just haven't moved it.

I had Tempur-Pedic and I hated it. I went into the Sleep Number store three separate times and I had three separate sales reps but everyone was great and knowledgeable. It's a big and costly purchase to make so I appreciated not having a high-pressure sales pitch but time to make a decision. The delivery went great and very smooth. It's very comfortable and I love the quality.

I heard that Sleep Number was very, very good so we went in and tested them and then decided that we would buy one. We bought the king-size mattress that splits, has the adjustable framework, a mattress pad and two sets of sheets and pillows, and they were all wonderful. I had a little bit of concern, however, as when you raise up the foot, something goes wrong as it seems the motor is making noise. Nevertheless, overall, I have no problems.

A friend of mine bought Sleep Number so I was then persuaded to get one too. I have a c2 mattress plus the base, and the overall quality is really good. The sales rep was very pleasant and they answered all the questions that we asked. The delivery was good and very smooth. The product was installed in 15 or 20 minutes!

We knew a couple of people that had bought a Sleep Number. We have extenuating circumstances here in our home; my wife is a triple amputee. The Sleep Number bed, being able to maintain the same level of the mattress all the time, works very well for her. We’ve tried the foam mattresses, and over time, they did not come back to their original memory and they left her laying in a hole. So far, the Sleep Number bed has worked very well for her. We also enjoy the elevation features on it.
The only issue I have with the bed is that we attached a headboard to the frame. The headboard sits too far back from the top of the mattress and the pillows would slide down in between the headboard and the mattress. I’ve adjusted it as far as the adjustment would allow and I still can’t close that gap. Also, the legs on it were a little high for my wife who has prosthetic legs. The rep offered me a set of legs which I haven’t had an opportunity to install yet. At the time she had offered for the Sleep Number people to come out and install it but I told her that I could handle it, but I haven’t been able to do that so far. It would be nice if they could come out and attach those shorter legs for me.

I purchased a Sleep Number bed with dual temp and adjustable platform. Nothing was easy about this bed. The customer service has been horrible. The salesman can only tell us to call the 800 number. Why can't the salesman help customers return items? The local store doesn't even carry anything; we have to have it shipped to the house. The dual temp fans wouldn't work like the show floor one did, so we called the 800 number to get new fans sent to us. Once we got those new fans, we installed them but they were not any better. We backed all the fans, straps and pad to return in Idaho Falls. Once we got there, they said that we would have to call the 800 number again to get boxes sent to our home to return the system.
I purchased two sets of sheets and mattress covers as well. The sheets were TOO big and there was no way to tuck the flat sheet in at the bottom of the bed. I tried my own sheets on the bed but the mattress cover was too big as well. I could never smooth out the sheets, ever. I exchanged the mattress cover for a newer one but when I got home, the salesman that sold me the KING bed, I was given a Queen cover. I went into the Idaho Falls store to order bed extension legs. The salesman ordered some, charging me shipping that would be shipped to my house. When they arrived and we tried to install them, he only ordered us 4 but this bed needs 8. The salesman was in our account. How hard is it to see and know that the bed required 8 legs.
The salesman failed to show us the adjustable base and how it works. It doesn't work the way we thought it to. The left side won't go all the way down and hangs up when going up. There is a delay on getting it to move. The salesman neglected to fully explain how items worked. Since the salesman can’t help customers at all, then why are they there? When my husband called about getting new dual temp fans, he specifically asked, “Is waiting for new fans be sent out would mess up the 90 days free return?” The operator said that it would not. We are within the 90 days trial period and have been trying to return the system but we are running into troubles. Customer service is now saying that the dual temp is not returnable along with the adjustable frame. We were not told that, it was an entire system 90 day trial.

Although I really wanted to like this bed (I have given it an 8 month try, tossing and turning, figuring out which number I am, and trying various pillows and positions), I find it to be uncomfortable, unsupportive, uneven, and inconsistent in terms of the range of pressure. My fiancé bought it during the holidays for almost 8k and it just hasn't been a good experience for me since day 1. The number 100 is very firm and as you go down it decreases in pressure very very little (still firm) until you hit 30. After 30 it is like you're lying on mashed potatoes the bed becomes uneven, mushy, and unsupportive. I have slept in some extremely comfortable beds in my life and I seem to go for a cushy surface with deeper underlying support. This bed does not have that despite trying many different numbers. It seems you either have very firm or very mushy.
They say to give it time with each number and I do give it about two weeks. However, I always wake up uncomfortable - aches and tightness in my upper back, neck, and hips. The discomfort subsides throughout the day but then returns the next morning when I wake, leading me to believe it's the bed. I have a hard time falling asleep in this bed and I have NEVER in my life had a hard time falling asleep. I could fall asleep anywhere at anytime. But this bed has me up late and uncomfortable in the morning. I am quite surprised and extremely disappointed. I wish I could like it but out of my 25 years it is the least comfortable piece of furniture that I have ever slept on.

I heard Sleep Number were good beds. We went and looked at them and I got one on sale. Their sales rep was knowledgeable and nice and the quality of the bed is good. I’m happy with it. However, as soon as I bought it, I took a job in Kentucky and I haven’t been home in five months to try it out again. I’m looking at going home this weekend and hopefully it’ll be just as soft as it was when I left.

My husband has back problems. He had tried Sleep Number and liked it. So we got the dual king and a queen with no pillows or bedding, but just the basic base. So far, we’re really enjoying it. Their delivery team was very professional and quick. They seemed to know what they were doing and then afterwards, one fellow explained exactly how it works. Now, my husband seems to adjust to it already. It helps him sleep better and for a while, he wasn’t experiencing any pain. Then recently, he’s had some problems but it has helped him out with that.

The bed we had was getting old. We needed an upgrade and we wanted to try Sleep Number. However, the bed is not holding the air. It might have a leak in it so I'm going to take it apart and find out.

My husband was complaining about our current bed and having back and hip issues. He wanted to buy a Sleep Number bed to solve the problem. We got the bed and the base that came with it. However, it would've been great to have the base as an option if it was something that we paid extra for. At first, there were some pain and uncomfortableness with Sleep Number. It’s an adjustment which I'm left on my own to figure out what is going to work for me. There are days when I peek to see what my husband has on his side and sometimes that feels better for me and sometimes mine does. I’m at 25 or 30. At the lower numbers, it’s really hard to make the bed to get it nice and neat. It's deflated so doesn’t look very nice if it’s not made. I crank it up to 40 when I’m making the bed but deflate it a little when I go to bed so there's a definite learning curve.
The saleswoman did a great job and was awesome. She was excited, enthusiastic and happy with us because when we walked in, we had already done the research and wanted to buy the bed and she didn’t really have to sell it. Unfortunately, she had no help so once other people started walking in, her attention was divided. That sucked because we wanted to try all the beds and hear everything she had to say, but she did the best she could. I also wished I had known about the adjustable head and foot type. I thought that was given and didn’t know that it was an extra added thing. I was disappointed about that part because I would have loved an adjustable mattress, but it costs more. We assembled the bed ourselves and it was easy enough to do. So far, we haven’t had any problems and everything still works.

My wife wanted a Sleep Number so we went ahead and bought one. We both have different preference in bed, so this was the compromise. We got a mattress and a base and the quality is fine. The sales reps were excellent, polite and helpful and not a pushy. The delivery team was quick and on time. And it was a good compromise between my wife and me.

We tried other beds and after a while they just aren't comfortable anymore so we wanted to try Sleep Number. I assembled it myself because it was cheaper and everything was fine. I like the bed. I could adjust it to what I need. If it isn't working a one side, I can set it to differently to make it feel more comfortable. I'm very satisfied with it.

I had been sleeping in a waterbed for years and I was having some back problems. I then bought a Sleep Number mattress and also got pillows and pillow covers. The pillows are awesome. In fact, I got some and gave them as presents for other people who also loved them. At the store, the sales reps made sure that I had plenty of time to check the beds out. I even had my grandkids with me, and they let them try all the beds. It was a great experience for all of us. The delivery guys as awesome, too. They knew exactly what they were doing, and I was shocked that it didn’t take much time to set the bed up. I love my Sleep Number bed. I’m still playing with it. Some nights I change the number on it and some nights I just keep it like it was.

We’ve had a Sleep Number a few years ago and we absolutely loved it. We had it for four years but we sold our home and went on the road travelling. When we decided to retire down, we wanted to have that wonderful experience again with Sleep Number so we decided to buy from them. When they were having a sale, we bought the bed that adjusts to our shape. I didn’t get exactly what I wanted because we couldn’t afford the expensive kind. This one is not quite the same maybe because I put a memory foam topper on top. I wake up with a backache during the night and I’m just not comfortable but I’m going to adjust it tonight and see what happens. Overall, it was a very good experience. The sales agents were super, very knowledgeable about what to get, not pushy and very respectful of our budget and that’s important to me. We had the bed delivered but we set it up ourselves.

I had a Sleep Number bed before and I needed one that I could adjust the height, the feet and the head because I have some sleeping problems. I looked it up on the internet to see what other people thought and I noticed there were a lot of negative comments. In spite of all that, I went by my own evaluation. I went to the business, tried out all the beds and laid down on them, and the sales reps were wonderful. They called me to see if everything was all right. I feel like I could call them anytime if I have any questions about the bed or how to operate it.
I probably could have gotten something better as far as cost but I got tired of looking. Sometimes, I don’t know how to run the air on and off and I have to fuss with it. But I have a breathing problem and allergies, so I knew a Sleep Number would help. The other thing I like about it is changing the bedding. I’m 80 years old, so when I'm changing the bedding, it’s so much easier because it’s an air mattress rather than a heavy mattress. So far, so good. I’m very happy with it.

I've been searching for an airbed or mattress and some say Sleep Number is okay. For my personal need, I think air bed may be better. I went to the Sleep Number showroom to give their product a try. I loved it so I bought the p5 model. I also got the SleepIQ. It was on special and when I purchased it together with the bed, it's cheaper. I like the bed so far in the four months that I've been using it. I also like the SleepIQ which I think is pretty good and amazing that they can do so much. I've had no problems with the quality so far and the bed feels so good. I even suggested to my friend to also get one.

I had a Sleep Number before when I lived in Arizona. When I moved to Utah, the bed was too big for the room so I had to get a smaller Sleep Number. Also, I decided to get one because my other mattress was hurting my back. I knew that Sleep Number didn't hurt me down in Arizona. I have no more back pain now. During the purchase, the sales rep did a good job and was very friendly. The bed was delivered three days earlier than they thought it was going to be so it was fine. I set it up myself and it went well. It's a good product and it's not that heavy. I can pull it up over my bed to get sheets on. All in all, I enjoy it. I've recommended it to other people.

We bought a Sleep Number, and we're very satisfied with it. It has individual temperature controls on each side, and my wife keeps pretty cool in the bedroom, which is fine during the summertime, but not in the wintertime. We also got the typical foundation, the SleepIQ, propped pillows and linen, and the sales representative was very informative, knowledgeable and honest. The delivery team was professional, careful of the premises, and it took them no time to get it set up and work properly. We had to use my telephone to get the SleepIQ to take it on the home network, but other than that, they did very well. However, we're not real keen on the pillows that we got. We were hoping to swap it with them, but I think we missed our 100-day window on that.

We got a Sleep Number bed so we could have different firmness on either side of the bed. I like being able to choose the firmness that I want and I like it firm but my husband needed something softer for medical reasons. The bed is very comfortable and we're happy with it. I have various back problems and not comfortable with the current bed so we shopped for a Sleep Number. When we walked into the store, their sales reps greeted us professionally and answered all our questions. They let us try out the examples there on the showroom floor and we had a great time. We had our purchases home delivered and set up and their delivery team was very good. They came in and knew exactly what they were doing. They cleaned up after themselves, too. We've been very happy with our bed. It's helped a lot with my back problems and it's very comfortable to adjust and watch TV at night before going to bed.

I have GERD, and needed to be able to raise my head comfortably. I got the whole shebang from Sleep Number. The sales rep was very helpful and the delivery team was terrific and set the bed up for me. I'm happy with it, with the proviso that I'm going to have to go buy another pad for the top of it. If I get it low enough so that there is no hip pain, I have to have a ladder to crawl off it. Overall, I'd recommend it to a friend, but only to the rich ones. It was very expensive.

We wanted to get a bed we’ll be able to sleep in. The sales rep had us lie down on the Sleep Number and showed us different settings and stuff, and we liked it. But so far my wife's not impressed. She has a continuous backache all the time and the bed doesn’t seem like it’s doing anything for her. It's aired up like it should be and I’ve tried all the settings, but she says her side still loses air. I’m sure the bed’s all fine for most people. It's a very good product if you know how to use it or if it’s working right. I think it’s a matter of personal setting.

We were looking for a new bed and had heard lots of good things about Sleep Number. We went to a store, tried it out, and really liked it. We purchased a mattress, and Randy, the guy that we worked with, was really good. He let us go through the whole place. We came in there intending to buy one mattress and ended up buying a more expensive one, which actually fits our needs a lot better. He let us make the decision and wasn’t very pushy. He could’ve tried to upsell us even more if he really pushed it, but he wasn’t. It was a really good experience.
The delivery team did a really good job. They kept things clean, got everything in and out, and made a suggestion on the base that we had. But it was one of those things where they allowed me to go out, had a saw out, came back, made the correction on the base that I needed to make, and it worked out really well. They were very knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. They saw a problem and I was able to fix it before it became a bigger problem.
We really like the mattress. It’s very, very comfortable. The only thing I was trying to figure out is how I could possibly be rotating the top pad on. It still isn’t clear exactly how to do that. But other than that, I’ve been very happy with it. There’s only one thing I’m dissatisfied with Sleep Number and it's their app which kept saying that I could program the bed with it. I’ve tried to do that three times and I kept getting “call customer service”. I’ve tried calling customer service on that particular issue and wasn’t able to get through.

My grandson bought a Sleep Number mattress and was very satisfied with it. I was having problems with my back and he talked me into talking with them and seeing it. I talked to the clerk who explained the background of the product. She was also very accommodating when I laid on a bed. I also had a wonderful time with the delivery team. I was also able to make adjustments myself electronically that they showed me how to do.
So far, I'm very happy with the Sleep Number mattress. It has helped my situation dramatically. I can get in on any position on the bed and have full support which was important. It's a quality product. I was hurting badly and now I'm sleeping very comfortably. I've never had a mattress like this before. I highly recommended it to many of my friends if we get to talking about health issues or back problems, or anything related to spending time in bed. The bed is very important and the money situation is immaterial compared with the results that I get for the standard mattresses. The brand also has a good reputation.

I am now sleeping more comfortably since I bought my Sleep Number bed which I got because I was having a little back trouble. Their sales rep was great. She explained to me how the whole system of the Sleep Number works. I also bought some sheets and they’re nice. Everything’s good. I'd definitely recommend Sleep Number.

Glorified camping mattress rip-off. I wanted so bad to love this bed but I felt like I was sleeping on a camping mattress every night. Seriously. The company did try to help by sending some $300 foam mattress pad to give more support but it didn't make a difference. I don't have back problems and now I feel like I have back problems. We also had problems with adjusting the Sleep Number. I'd ask it to go to 30 while I was on 50 and it wouldn't do it or go to the wrong number. I had to end up returning it which they charge several hundred dollars to come pick it up and then I was charged double for it, and they seemed to try and tell me that it was for delivery and pickup. Well I already paid for delivery so why am I being charged again? It's all smoke and mirrors people, unless you like camping... every night. Buy a camping mattress, put some foam on it, and that is a Sleep Number. Buyer beware... and way too much money!

Our experience with buying the bed was great and the sales person Neal at the Santa Rosa Avenue store was very helpful. The process was awesome from start to finish. We saw Sleep Number at a State Fair and decided to try it. We got a whole unit, including a mattress and the mechanism that put the feet and head up. The delivery team was fast, and they put the mattress on a platform and showed us how to operate it. Sleep Number is very good and we like the packages. I've owned several Sleep Number beds, and the 6th one I bought was a twin-sized bed and base for my mom. She's ill and I knew it would help her. The sales representative and the delivery guy have been awesome. The delivery guy pointed out to me that there was a tear in the platform. It was something that will not hurt anything, but I was glad he did. I called Sleep Number about it and they wanted to replace it. It was going to be a rural delivery, however, it was going to be a big expense for me and for them.
I got something negotiated that I thought was reasonable, but it was very stressful trying to negotiate it. We got it resolved, but I had to wait every time I tried to call them, and the wait time is horrible. When I finally talked to somebody, he couldn't help me. And then, he sent me somebody else who wouldn't help me. Finally, I got the executive office, and the lady and I were able to negotiate something and worked it out. But by the time I got to her, I was in tears. I love Sleep Number beds. The bed I got works fine, but the platform had a rip in it so I wanted it to be made right. They gave me a discount, and we ended up getting it corrected, but it was a nightmare working my way through the system to try to get somebody to speak some logic about it. Other than the issues I had, I'm still satisfied with my experience.

My wife’s back was hurting as she's on her last trimester so I got the c2 mattress and base from Sleep Number. The sales rep was very good, really nice, and helped us understand what it was that we wanted. Setting up the bed was fairly easy. I’ve never set up one before, so it was like learning on the fly. We’re happy with bed and it's worth the purchase. Since we got the bed, my wife can sleep better. It really helped out because her back problem is gone, and so is mine.

We've been looking at different mattresses and had tried out the ones where they deliver it to the home and like fold it up. We're trying to find the best thing for my back and we chose the Sleep Number. We got two beds - the SleepIQ, and the special liners. We weren't that happy with the people that were working in the store, but we did order over the phone, and they were really helpful. The items were delivered to us, and they set it up. It was really easy, and the crew was great. It was a pain-free experience. We're very happy with the bed. Depending on how I'm feeling, I can adjust it to comfort my back, or whatever I need.

My parents have a Sleep Number so I also bought a Sleep Number adjustable base, a bed, sheets, blankets, a bed skirt and everything that goes with it. Their delivery team was great. For the most part, the quality of the items are good. The sheets were the cool touch but it's very expensive. They are not as high quality as I would expect for spending that kind of money.

I kept finding all kinds of mattresses and just couldn't get comfortable, so I decided to buy a Sleep Number mattress that raises up and the two sides depending on what I want, just so I could get comfortable. The sales reps in Lake Charles were very nice. They showed me the beds. I would've loved to have that big, thick king-size one, but we went with a queen-size mattress instead. It came in about a week and was set up in my bedframe.
The bed has helped me 100%. I had two hernia surgeries and a mass up in my belly which was taken out and I enjoy my bed because I can put it as soft as I want or as hard as I want and raise it up 'till I’m comfortable with my stomach. I can set it to where my belly feels like it wants to be, go up as high as I want and low as I want to sleep and I sleep on a pillow. The only thing I got concerned about was when the mattress was first delivered it, the sheets did not fit on the mattress, contrary to what was said by the sales rep that all the queen size sheets would fit on it. I had to go with the king-size to make it go around the mattress. Now that that it has settled and I've slept in it, my queen-size sheets do fit on it.

My husband and I have differences in sleeping habits, so I wanted to try something that would be flexible for that. Luckily, I was the only one in the Sleep Number store at the time, so the sales rep was able to help me and answer all my questions. The delivery went fine. I've recommended it to my mother and father-in-law and they ended up buying one too.

The delivery team did fine, however, they never hooked up the computer part that tells me how I sleep. I think that was a feature I paid for but never got. Nonetheless, I like Sleep Number because I sleep good in it.

I needed a new bed and we went to a Sleep Number store and we talked to the reps about it and they were great. Every question we asked, they had pretty much the answer for it. Sleep Number seemed like a good bed to buy so we ended up buying a base that tilts up the head side of it, a mattress, and a stand. Our purchased items are great and awesome, and I enjoy it.
The delivery team was okay, although, they could have been a little bit more professional. They just threw everything off the truck. They’re just tossing everything around like it’s nothing to them at all. The person that explained the bed operation didn’t do it really well so we ended up calling the store and they helped us out a little bit. But other than that, the experience wasn’t that bad.

I wanted an adjusting bed because I have back problems. I got the basic Sleep Number as I liked the adjusting factor. On some days I need it softer, and on other days I need it harder. The interactions with the sales reps and the delivery crew were all great. I didn't have any problem, and my experience is generally good. However, I have a problem with the pump as it does weird things when I try to pump it or get it down by five points - it doesn't do anything. It just clicks and doesn't pump, so I have to go up two then down 1 time just to trick it. I want to get that fixed. But, other than that, it's a great bed and I have nothing bad to say.

Sleep Number was adjustable and I'm not sure if I'm comfortable on a hard bed or a soft bed so I bought their mattress. The sales agents were very good and helpful. They made me feel comfortable and answered any questions. I'm still working on getting used to it, but most of the time, it's pretty good.

My wife and I had bought several mattresses over the years and it seemed that they all ended up too soft. I thought that rather than risk buying another one that was too soft, I'd buy one that was adjustable from soft to hard. That way, I could ensure that I had the option to making it hard at least so I got the Sleep Number mattress. I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money on it. It's a bottom of the line twin-sized mattress.
We live in Florida in winter and bought the bed in a store located in a mall north of New Port Richey. The sales reps were fine and helpful. The bed was shipped to me and I assembled it myself. It was simple, but then I'm an engineer so it wasn't much of a challenge. My biggest concern is how long it'll last. It's certainly a high-quality air mattress but I wonder if it might spring a leak someday.

For years my wife and I have been very different as to the kind of mattresses we wanted. I liked them soft while she liked them hard. So, it was good that with the Sleep Number bed, we could get everything in one mattress, where she can have her side harder than mine. The sales rep was excellent and the service was great. He walked us through the whole process and showed us all the different mattresses and options we had until we got the one that we wanted. The delivery team came in and got everything organized and set up very quickly, and it was a good experience. Our Sleep Number is an excellent bed and we love it. It's doing great and we're very satisfied with it.

Sleep Number had multiple beds, pillows and sheets in the home show with different qualities. We laid on different tops and tried the controls. The bed got delivered right away but the problem is they started charging us for the bed before we even got it. But we talked to the lady at the home show who was a manager at the store we bought the bed from and the company put another month before the bill started.
My wife's had multiple surgeries and her shoulder is hurting all the time that's why we went with the bed, but the company needs to come up with a better system. Sometimes she still sleeps on the recliner because she slides down on the bed. Her problem is when the bed is tilted up, like in a hospital bed, she constantly slides down. But the delivery guys seemed knowledgeable when they put the item in and set it up. My wife was there during delivery and they showed her how everything worked. They also made sure that she knew where the 800-number was if there was any problem.
We got the split king but I wish I got two singles. It would’ve been cheaper and I wouldn’t have to fight the special sheets we got as much. But it's comfortable. Some days, I feel like I need it softer, like yesterday when I was exhausted and the softness feels good. But I don’t sleep as good in the soft, so usually I take it up when I’m watching television which is nice. It was like having two different beds in the same place. With the controller, I can change it without having to go through a whole bunch of hassle. Also I called them for the financing for the bed and there wasn’t an interest rate as long as we paid it off under certain conditions. It’s a very good product and very good service.

The Sleep Number salespeople were real nice and we had our purchased items for home delivery. One problem I had is that the man at the store told us when we bought at Lynchburg that any queen sized sheet would fit on it. I got a queen size sheet but it would not fit on the bed since it's too big. I think my wife told the people yesterday and called about it. The bed is really nice and I like it but it hasn't helped me with my back problems. My back's not feeling any better and I had to go to the doctor yesterday.

I've had a lot of uncomfortable nights of sleep and the work that I do requires me to be able to get a good night's rest, so I decided to buy a Sleep Number bed. I bought the whole package - the mattress, base, pillows, and bedding. At the time of the sale, the gentleman was very helpful and thorough. What questions I knew to ask based on the product that was being demonstrated were answered. Everything was thorough with the delivery as well. They hooked up something on my home computer and I grew frustrated trying to log on to my PC to look at the sleep data although the data is also available from my cellphone and the remote itself.
The issue which took me six months to express was about the massage feature on the flexible base that I was not enjoying completely. When I was in the store, I thought I was going to use it but when I got home, I didn't like the humming sound coming from the equipment - the same noise coming from a massage chair in a parlor. I don't even turn it on except for when I just want to hear some noise and be shaken like a little baby - then I turn it off after a minute. I know I'm not getting the optimum use of the massage feature.
I finally called them and they told me that I need carpet on my wood floor. Nobody told me when I purchased my bed and the base that this feature works best on carpeted floor. They also didn't tell me that the massage feature works best in one of their platform beds. So now I'm looking at purchasing carpet, which is another investment and I'm wondering if that's really going to solve the problem. It may be a bed issue after all and not a floor issue.
Also, though the mattress itself and the body pillow are wonderful, I hate the firm contour neck pillow that I bought for myself. I use the soft pillow that my husband got more frequently instead of it. Nevertheless, the slip cover which protects the pillows is wonderful. I love the quality of the mattress. I sleep great on it. It was definitely a good experience with Sleep Number too and it was a big investment for me.

We needed a new bed so we tried out a bunch of them and found Sleep Number was the best one. We worked with Julie in the store and she was fantastic. She really helped us out, put us in the right direction, explained all the differences and spent a lot of time making sure that all of our questions were answered. We got the mattress, base and some sheets. We then scheduled a home delivery and my wife who was there at that time said that everything went fine and they got it all set up for us.
The only issue was that Julie, who bent over backward to help us out, who was wonderful and helped us even when we went back into the store, didn't get the credit and commission for my sale. We used Sleep Number credit through GE Capital or Synchrony and they didn’t approve us for the full amount. I got a call from someone in the Sleep Number call center and he said that they would work this and that we'll get upped. That got all worked out, but then he ended up getting credit for sales that he had nothing to do with and I have been very upset for several months about that.

We had a Sleep Number before but it wore out after 20 years. We got a different mattress but we didn't like it so we went back to Sleep Number. Their sales rep knew what he was talking about. The bed will probably last me for the rest of my life and so far, it's good sleeping for me.

The Sleep Number bed has the ability to adjust its firmness and since my husband has a bad back, he wanted it. It was very simple to set up, but then we got misled in terms of the different models. There was a problem with the foam on top of the mattress. About a month after we had it, we spoke to their reps and they were very helpful, and had the foam replaced with something more flexible. Once we got the new foam, we’ve been very happy with it. He’s definitely more comfortable with it than the previous mattress we had which was supposed to be very high quality. We had spent quite a bit of money on that bed but he was never happy with it. So we decided to go with the Sleep Number and put the other mattress in our guest room. So far, we're satisfied with the quality of the Sleep Number bed. I'd recommend the company to a friend.

Bought the c2 so we can have better night sleep but this been absolutely nightmare. Ever since we got this, something is not right every time and complained, they sent us some goodies but no permanent result. There is no free technical help, you as consumer must tear apart the bed to find out what is wrong then they would help with parts. Never ever buy this product. After just one year and a lot of money spent and wasted, we are now considering European Sleep Design.

I needed a new mattress. And when I decided to get one, the Sleep Number sales reps let me try different beds and found my sleep number for me. They are a great part of why I bought the mattress. I've got a back that's been bothering me and have tried expensive things and would try sleeping on a rock if I thought it would do any good. I got the Sleep Number bed and it was delivered quickly. It's a nice bed and it works real good for sleeping but doesn't do much for the back. One of the things I like about it is that if I want to go to super firm or soft it can and recently the back part of it seems to help a little so I've been satisfied.

I've got a bad back and have been thinking about the Sleep Number bed for many years. My brother has one and he swears by it, so I bought the C2 bed, without the base. But I haven’t put up the bed yet because my back has been too bad, although I've read the directions and the bed looks really easy to put up. One of the things that bothers me is that they suggest that I get a surge protector and plug the bed into it, but that is not covered by Sleep Number. But still, everything has been simple with them.

My husband has chiropractic issues, so we purchased a Sleep Number mattress. Their sales rep was really nice and didn't pressure us. He even gave us different quotes on a couple of types of beds. We had it delivered to our home and setting it up was easy. We're very satisfied with the quality and we have noticed a difference since having it.

I needed a new bed and thought an air bed would be the way that I needed to go so I purchased a Sleep Number C2 king size bed with a sponge topper for it and pillows. Their reps were nice and knowledgeable. I’ve had water beds before and always set them up so I set the bed up myself. The instructions were adequate. So far, the quality is okay. However, I’m having trouble keeping the sheets on because the mattress topper doesn’t stay put. Nevertheless, I was very pleased with my experience with them.

My wife bought us a Sleep Number about 20 years ago. It was a king-sized bed and I thought with my health problems, I needed one where the foot would raise up. I gave the king-size to my son and went and bought the regular one that I got now that raises my feet up. It helps get the swelling out of my feet at night. The bed is great and I love it. I wish my wife had bought the king-size ten years before. That’s why I gave it to my son. No one is going to get a better night’s sleep in any bed other than that one.
The only problem I had was when the wife got the original king-size. We lived in Rockmart, Georgia then. I wanted to buy some new sheets for the king-size that I already had. I live in Monroe, Georgia now and I ended up not getting one set of sheets because Sleep Number kept sending it to Rockmart. For two weeks, I told them I don’t live in Rockmart, and they still sent that set of sheets there. I was happy with what I got so I just let it go. It’s worth losing the money not to talk with them anymore.

Before we got our Sleep Number, I slept on the couch for months because I had back problems and our old bed sucked. So then we came out and tried each Sleep Number bed from the lowest to the more expensive ones and I fell in love. I’ve got everything I wanted and it was a good experience. My wife loves it but I had to get used to it because of the divider from her Sleep Number to mine. My 25 is lower than her 25. I’m 6’ 5”, 200 pounds while she’s 5’ 2”, 100 pounds and sometimes she’ll roll off into my side of the bed. But besides that, the quality is great. Additionally, the manager I dealt with was awesome. He helped me out and got me approved for credit which was exciting because I’ve been working on my credit for a while now. All in all, I’m satisfied and I'm comfortable and have less pain.

My wife and I have different requirements for a mattress so we got a Sleep Number. The sales reps were great. They walked us through it all and we purchased a mattress on the spot. Everything was also great with the delivery team who did a really nice job. They took our old mattress and put in the new one. So far, the mattress is working well. We haven’t had it that long but the comfort has been consistent.

We had been having hassles with the mattress that we'd been sleeping on and needed a new one. We threw it out, got another one, and it was just not a comfortable sleep. Then we started seeing the adverts on TV about Sleep Number so my husband said that we'd go to their store and have a look. The salespeople in Lafayette went out of their way to help and whenever we see something in the store, they were always open to discuss it and show us how it would work. The lady went through the whole process of showing how our body is lined up and where it should be softer or harder for a comfortable sleep and we walked out of there with no questions. We told her we'd discuss it and come back, however, when we decided to get one, somebody else phoned and we were upset that the first sale didn't go to the Lafayette store because it was their time. They were upset too that first purchase.
We got the bed for the main bedroom then eventually, we got one for the spare bedroom. For the second one, we went to the store and made sure that they got the sale. It's a very comfortable sleep and the best buy that we have ever done in a mattress and we've got no complaints about it. What is also nice about this mattress is that if the setting works one night and the next night I'm uncomfortable, I can reset it and make it more comfortable. I can set it whenever and however and if I get visitors in and it's not to their liking, they can set it according to their body again. We also bought some pillows, the top mattress and the top cover for the mattress to make it kind of softer which is really marvelous.
We went through delivery for the second bed and they were good at scheduling around my timing, especially since I live out in New Iberia area. Before they came they phoned and said they were on their way. I also told them not to come early in the morning and they were good at it. The delivery team also showed me the booklet and how the controls operate. They even gave numbers that we can phone if we're not happy about it and went through it from A to Z.
When our son had to get a new mattress, we recommended him to go to Sleep Number. When I went to my son's apartment in Lafayette when they installed it, it was exactly the same person that did our two mattresses over here. He also went through all of it, taught me everything and was kind. I stayed in the room looking at what they were doing because I was interested to see how they do it and he was quite happy to have me around. He didn't even say, "Excuse me, can we just carry on with what we're doing?" kind of thing. He just explained to me as he did it. So, our overall experience with Sleep Number is remarkable. Unfortunately, my son's not happy with the bed. He's out of the country at the moment and I told him his 100 days will be up by the time he got back but he said there's nothing he can do.

We decided to try Sleep Number because it's adjustable. If we feel like we need it softer, we can do that and that's what we liked about it. I purchased the bed in Florida and I had it delivered in Ohio. Their delivery team was excellent and professional. They came in and showed me how it went. We're very happy with the bed and my wife loves it. We're enjoying it 125%. It's the best bed I've ever slept in. We'll probably end up with another one in Florida.

I needed a new bed and I thought I would try Sleep Number. And I made a mistake in the purchase - it's a waste of money. I don’t like it. It’s very uncomfortable, no matter what I change the setting to. I’m sleeping worse now than I did.

The sales reps were very conscientious. The delivery of the bed was good. The guys picked the old bed out and were in and out. They knew what they were doing and were very good. I like the Sleep Number bed and I've enjoyed it. My back is much more comfortable with it. I leave it on one setting once I found my setting. I had a soft bed before and if I slept in too long in the weekend, I can get some discomfort in my back. The Sleep Number has been a real plus from that standpoint.

We loved our first Sleep Number bed which we had for about 12 years and we like our second one even better. We would definitely go back to the store at 1916 Houston when it's time to purchase a new one because everybody at that store was super friendly. We were probably in there for an hour and the sales rep spent a lot of time with us making sure we got the best product fitted for us. He explained the different mattresses and measured our Sleep Number. He didn’t rush and was very polite and cordial.
The delivery team was on time. Aside from the warranty, they went through the bed with us again and made sure we understood how to use it, even if the guy that we bought the mattress from had already explained it. They were super clean, too. The experience was pleasant from start to finish. The mattress is superb and so was the service.

We had a Sleep Number bed before and we had it for 11 years. Then we experienced trying our friends' Sleep Number when we were dog sitting for them. At that time we had no idea what our numbers were but we played with the bed that night and thought it was really nice. It interested us enough to go out and look at them and this time around, we got the FlexTop king. This bed raises and lowers the head so it comes with a modular base, not the designer base that sometimes they show with the bed. After purchasing the bed, another sale came up that had sheets, so we went back to the store that we bought the bed from. We got new pillows and bedding because none of the sheets would fit - we bought the bed skirt. We also got the SleepIQ so that it tracks our sleep every night.
My husband and I are going to retire within a year so we wanted to get this bed where the head and feet would raise. We wanted to get it done and paid for before we retired, instead of making that major purchase after we're retired. Hence we were an easy sell, from the point of view that we knew that we wanted another Sleep Number. We did shop the sale. We had been looking and just decided that now was the time. T
The sales people from Sleep Number were very helpful in this regard because I'm very persnickety about colors, how things match, and how things look together. They were more than willing to put blankets or duvet on the bed to make sure that the colors, sheets, and everything that I wanted would all go together instead of just looking at a book and guessing. They went out of their way to make sure that we knew how to run the bed, though we already had our Sleep Number bed to do that. They also showed us how to do the zero-gravity position on the bed to make sure we were comfortable with it. The store also called to make sure that we were not having any problems with the SleepIQ and that we understood everything.
I scheduled to have the bed delivered and their team has been dynamite. They called when they were about 20 minutes out so I knew they were coming. They had been delivering all day and I think they still had two deliveries after me, but they couldn't have been nicer. They were extremely clean and very courteous. They also made sure that everything worked before they left the house. They took care of all the packing, strapping, cardboard, etc. They also took the old bed with them. I'm very leery about letting people I do not know into my house, especially when I'm by myself. However these guys may have been very conscious of that - maybe their personalities is why Sleep Number hired them - and they were very reassuring. They didn't make me feel funny at all and for me, that's a big deal.
We love the bed's quality, and we knew we would. It's given us the best nights' sleep we've ever had. We even loved our old Sleep Number dual-chamber bed wherein the head or feet did not go up. My husband has a disk problem in his back which has been going on for maybe 10 years. If he feels a twinge, he will adjust the Sleep Number - either making it softer or sometimes a little harder - and it has helped his back tremendously. I would recommend this bed. Even though Sleep Number is not a cheap bed by any means, it is an investment one would definitely want to make because they're gonna enjoy it the rest of their life or however long they have the bed.

I've always wanted to try Sleep Number, so we went into the store to try them out, and ended up buying a mattress. We also got a couple of pillows for free. Their sales reps were friendly and helped me find what I was looking for. I had it delivered at home and my husband said they shipped it out before it was due, which was amazing. My new mattress is wonderful. I sleep so much better now and I don't wake up with a sore back anymore. I recommend it to my friends.

We like our new Sleep Number bed. We wish we could have gotten the next size up but this is pretty good. The sales reps were really nice folks. They're pretty knowledgeable about everything. The delivery team was quick in setting the bed up and were also really friendly. They showed us how to use the remote, cleaned, took all our trash with them, and left. They were really good. We haven’t had any bad experiences with them so far.

I had some family that had Sleep Number and liked them. So I got a couple set of sheets and a mattress pad with it and the movable base. I had the items delivered and they called me the night before and told me they were going to be there the next day. I took off from work. They called me 30 minutes before they were supposed to be there (11:00) and said that they had some kind of a personnel problem and weren't coming. It was going to be another six days before they could come, which ticked me off. But I had no issues once they got there. The quality of the bed is good so far.

We bought a Sleep Number bed. It is like sleeping on a very expensive blowup mattress. You're told is a 100 night free trial and if you aren't satisfied at any point you can return it. What the salespeople fail to inform you of is that they are going to charge you $179 to return their air and minimum phone bed. They claim it's a free, no risk trial. It's A LIE! Had we been told this policy upfront then we never would have bought the bed. I've never had back or hip pain, but I do after I sleep on the Sleep Number. It does state in the paperwork that you are responsible for shipping return fees; however, the sales associate doesn't highlight that fact, EVER! Intentionally misleading and false advertisement. If you're going to offer a 100% risk free trial then you shouldn't charge customers a return fee. The implied meaning is that a customer can return a product with no additional charges. Never buying from your company again. I will never recommend your company either.

Sorry you haven't had the experience you were hoping for, Heather. We agree, advertising a free, no risk trial and then charging return shipping would be wrong, which is why we specify that our trial is a 100 night in home trial, and we provide you with the terms and conditions of the sale, which detail the return process and costs.
