Their sales rep was very helpful and knowledgeable. She was good and I really liked her. I went with Sleep Number because of the adjustability. I got the p5 bed and the cover a year ago. The quality is really good as well. My wife and I like the bed. So, we sleep well.

The sales professional was able to answer all my questions and demonstrate how to use the bed. I had the bed delivered and set up and both of their delivery crew members were good. They were on time and were courteous of my home. Since buying the bed, I would tell my boyfriend to raise his head when he starts to snore. Now, he doesn't snore anymore. I also seem to sleep better with my Sleep Number. I've told everybody that I would never have another bed.

I had a pillow top and it was too soft, so I decided to purchase a full-sized Sleep Number bed, and I’ve been having a great experience with it. I was trying to get to the store during the half off sale but I went a day late so I just got whatever I could on sale. My sales experience was good. However, the sales rep didn’t know very much about the product. When my son purchased a Sleep Number, I was with him and the sales rep really walked him through everything much better than the one that I had. Other than that, the quality of the bed is very good and I’m very satisfied with it.

Sleep Number was something that I tried to get the kids not to do for us. They all had one and they loved it, so they had it in mind and thought that we would do better with it. We’ve always slept in a double bed so we never had the next step up. We didn’t even want to change but my kids were insistent and so it came. But I had some difficulty in liking the bed because I have a lot of back pain. It's sort of sciatica. I couldn’t find a number that would give me enough firm support that wasn’t uncomfortable, but I finally decided how I could manage it.
I realized that a pillow under my legs and something stiff between the mattress and the bed pad could help me with it and I have done well. But that's not ideal. I am 88 years old so I have to learn how to manage the pain I have and I can almost always, but it wasn’t an easy transition for me because of my back pains. It wasn’t the bed’s fault. It was my special need and I finally settled. I had it for a year and with the different ways that I have now of supporting my back, I just left it alone and I’ve been fine. I’m sleeping well so that’s all I could ask for. Bob was always happy with his number and so we’ve done all right.

We were having some back pain when we wake up in the morning. We've seen commercials for Sleep Number and based on that, we decided to give it a try. We stopped in at a store inside the mall and we weren't expecting to purchase that night. It was the store manager that we dealt with and she was very helpful. She ended up staying about 45 minutes past closing but she was really cheerful about it and it didn't bother her at all. Then, we scheduled a home delivery and there were no problems. They were very careful. The bed's been great and it sure has helped with the back issues. We've recommended it to many people since.

I've had a Sleep Number in our home for eight years, and I recently purchased a package of the base, mattress, and pillows. The quality is very good. I went to the store at the CoolSprings Mall. The manager of the store was the sales person at a different store when I bought my first bed there. He was very helpful. In fact, I told anybody that has expressed interest to go see him. The delivery people were great. They were on time, were professional and very quick, and they took care not to damage anything in my home. I'd definitely recommend Sleep Number. Their service and products are great.

I purchased and owned Sleep Number beds at different points then. We love our Sleep Number bed. There was never a question as to getting another Sleep Number bed. It was only a matter of which one we were going to get, and when we were going to get it. My current wife and I have only been married four years and this is her first Sleep Number bed, but she loves it.
The Sleep Number sales representative was fine. However, the delivery experience wasn't the best. We purchased the frame wherein each side of the bed can be altered so we can sit up and read. We can change positions. And the delivery guys had a wrong piece and it was a bit of a mess between my wife, having to be there. And then, she had to get to work, and then I had to leave work at another point to get back home so that they could fix the bed. The only other person at home was our 15-year old son. I called the store and complained about that, and I never really heard back from anybody.
My wife and I have very busy and very responsible, high-wage earning jobs. So, when we take time off because their delivery guys screwed the deal up, why wouldn't the manager say, "You know what, Brad? Boy, you've been a good customer. I’m just gonna have another set of sheets here for you. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience." I would have been happy. I was a little tipped off at that time.

I decided to get the Sleep Number for its versatility of being hard or soft. It'd give me a lot more options to sleep and once in a while, I change my bed's setting. The sales reps were informative and helpful. We set up the bed ourselves and it was easy. The overall quality of the bed seems good so I'd definitely recommend Sleep Number.

We had been using Tempur-Pedic for 15 years and wanted to give Sleep Number a try. The sales representative that we dealt with did a really good job. They explained the bed very well to us and took the time to help us out.

We purchased a Sleep Number 15 years ago and we still have it. It is in a guest room and is still operating well. After using a standard mattress for 10 years, we saw advertisements for Sleep Number and since we were very satisfied with our old mattress, we bought a new one. The sales personnel at their store were very helpful. They weren't pushy and they explained all of the options available. Also, their delivery team was on time. We purchased the bed with the Sleep IQ in it and they were very careful in setting that up and explaining it to us. They were very knowledgeable. The bed has been working fine since then and we've been sleeping well.

We wanted to try out the air mattress so we got a Sleep Number. We knew the manager at the store and he did a very good job. He answered all our questions. The bed was delivered very quickly from the time we purchased it. The delivery team didn't waste any time. They were in a hurry because they were not local and were anxious to get home, though. On the whole, the bed is fine, however, it didn't help with the arthritis as much as we had hoped.

I had a Tempur-Pedic mattress which I had replaced three times. My back hurt so bad it had gotten to where I couldn't get up anymore. The last time they replaced it, they had to have a guy come over here and check it to make sure it was the mattress and it wasn't just me. The major complaint about the Tempur-Pedic was that you tend to fall in a hole after a while. The guy told me he checks all kinds of mattresses and I got to asking him if he's gonna buy one, what would he buy and he told me about Sleep Number.
I bought the platform and a mattress up in Nashville and I bought the second mattress a year later in Jackson, Tennessee. Both places were really nice and the reps weren't pushy. They let you lay and flop around on the bed and answer all your questions. I've pretty much made up my mind as to what I was going to get and then they told me how long it would take before they could get it to my house. Then, they called and the people that delivered it set it up and hauled my whole stuff off. It worked really smooth.
I've got no problem with the mattress at all. It's no big deal but I'm still playing with mine a little bit. I set it at 35 and sometimes, I set it at 40. Then, recently I had some back surgery and so, I've been setting it on 50 which I sleep well at. The nice thing about it is if you don't like it, all you got to do is to push the button and adjust it to where you want it. In the morning when I get up and I slept on it at 35, I have to inflate it back up to 55 or 60. That keeps the mattress in shape and keeps it from bagging out. It's amazing that when you get to tuck your sheets in, it don't weigh anything, it's easy to make your bed up once you're used to those big heavy mattresses. I told a good friend of mine about Sleep Number and he bought one. He got a deluxe model and he's really happy with it.

We were long overdue for a new mattress and I’ve read pretty good reviews on the Sleep Number bed that we purchased. I got just the SleepIQ mattress since we had a platform bed base already. The sales representative was super friendly and helpful and it was a pleasant experience. I had the mattress delivered and I installed it myself. I love the overall quality of my Sleep Number and I like being able to adjust it. When I’ve got certain sore spots and I need a little more firmness, then I can adjust it on the fly.

My husband was complaining about his back being sore so I bought him the Sleep Number bed as a present and he liked it. The bed we had at camp wasn't also doing it for my husband so he bought one for camp too. My sister has three of them and my son has two. It's like a family thing. We're both very happy with the beds and my husband tells everybody about them.

We had a Tempur-Pedic prior to the Sleep Number. But our Tempur-Pedic gave out after nine years that it started sagging pretty bad and didn’t hold up at all. And so we got two Sleep Number beds. I liked its modular concept. If one piece of the bed goes bad, it's replaceable. One of our Sleep Number is more of a basic unit and the other is a very high-end unit with the adjustable bed frame. I really like them. They're very comfortable. I can set it the way I like it. Although last night, I forgot to put my number in and when I woke up this morning, I was really sore. I looked around, and was gonna reset the bed to a 100, but it was already at 100. So I slept on a hard, firm mattress last night. For one of the beds, the delivery team was pretty good, although for the other one, they set it up and did everything, but they were in a big hurry to get out. They didn’t answer all of the questions I had, and we had to fumble around a little bit.
We also have an issue with our higher end Sleep Number. My side of the mattress leaks a little bit because whenever I set it from a 100 to 65, it lets a little bit of air out. If I do the same thing to my wife’s side, it seems to let more air out. But mine goes back to 100. The thing that's interesting to me is that it always shows 100, but I really don’t think it is. But it sleeps good. And when I set it to 65, it seems to be that way all night. We also bought some sheets from Sleep Number but I don’t really care for them because they're a little too clingy. Although it's really easy to change the sheets. I really like Sleep Number a lot. Their customer service people have always been very good to deal with.

Terrible customer service, quality has gone downhill and this is not the same company as it used to be. This is my 2nd and LAST Sleep Number bed. Also, when our bed was delivered, everything went smoothly and the delivery team got it done quick. Overall, we love the mattress and we've recommended it to a couple of people.

I have a split king adjustable that cost $6,000 three years ago. In year one we called and asked for someone to come out and find out why our almost new bed was caved in on one side and even fully inflated on the other side, felt like a waterbed. We were told it would cost $175 to have someone come out. We didn't think this was fair as the bed was so new. Have been trying since to get help. Not right to charge us for obvious defects.

Hoping the bed outweighs the cost and customer service after purchase!! Seems like once we signed the CS went out the door! Here is my story! A few weeks ago we decided to invest (and I mean INVEST) in a Sleep Number. When we went into the store the Bennie, the sales associate (SA) was nice and helpful. We took the information he gave us (after asking a lot of clarifying questions) and left for a while, pondering the information, the cost, our need, and desires. We then decided to do it. This was NOT a light decision for us given the price of the beds. I would not consider myself cheap, but I do put a lot of thought into my purchases, even small ones. We had been told and heard the beds are fabulous, so we went for it.
After signing the papers, we left very excited. Again, I am not one to take a purchase lightly so I went home and was going through everything and realize there was a discrepancy between what we were told and explained & what was invoiced. I decided to go back to the store (across town) to talk to Bennie, because he had been so helpful. To this point, I was feeling good service had been great. When I went in there was a different SA, Paul. Paul not only told me something completely different, he proceeded to try to argue and convince me that I just did not understand. I left feeling very frustrated and decided to call Bennie the next day, because I wanted to get some clarification and had asked the questions with the initial purchase. When I was finally able to speak with Bennie, he proceeded to explain what he said in the store, which still did not add up, but at that point, I was so frustrated that I gave up trying to talk.
One item that upset me the most about the entire situation was that they were both telling me different things; they were not even giving me the SAME message. Even if I did misunderstand when I purchased the bed, neither seemed to care how upset I was nor did they bother to listen to me. They both seemed more interested in stating they were right, not trying to explain or make me feel better about purchasing from their store. At this point dropped it, I was not getting anywhere and I was honestly wasting breath. Now, fast forward a few weeks when the bed is supposed to be delivered. When ordering the bed Bennie asked us to pick a delivery time (8-12 or 12-4). We did picked a time and he explained we would get a confirmation. I took the day off work; we got an email saying our bed was set to be delivered, so we thought nothing more of it.
After waiting around until there was 30 minutes left in our time period I decided to look our delivery up. The system was not working, but noticed there was a chat live, so I decided to start there. I asked Alia the rep if she would be able to tell me when I could expect the bed and explained the situation. Her response was that if the store told us a time they should not have that times are not set until the day before. Enough said, she gave me another number that I could call to see for home delivery. I had to ask her if she was a robot (self-generated messages) because the conversation just seemed, again, scripted.
At this point, I was SOOO upset I called the number she gave me in tears. The rep I spoke with, Corey, was very sincere and helpful. He did tell me that the delivery time was changed from 8AM-12PM TO 4PM-8PM. I took the day off work to be there in the AM, and I was not notified of this change. He told me that I should have gotten a generated message, neither my husband nor I did (I verified both numbers and looked at the call logs on both phones). I took an entire day off work and had no idea that the bed was not even supposed to be at my place until late afternoon. In any case a generated message should not be sufficient, they should talk to someone. I had no missed calls or messages, and now down work hours.
Here is the point to my long post... I honestly feel that after the sale, customer service went to the dogs - it felt like in the store, they got my money, commission and they did not care anymore. The phone reps were great. Please do not get me wrong. But I would expect more from someone who just sold me a $3k Plus bed. The pricing including extras and delivery should be clearer. Bennie told me I was not paying for delivery and Paul told me it was because my bed was on sale. They are both sales persons, they need to be consistent. If you can NOT set a delivery time and there is really NO time until the day of the sales associate should not GIVE you a choice of delivery times. They should give you a DAY and tell you someone (IT SHOULD BE A PERSON) will call the day of with a time. They need to make you aware of this. I am fortunate I could use my PTO time but not everyone has that available.
I am still giving this a chance because I have heard good things about the bed and both my husband and I need the back support. My husband is on third shift and we are trying to get him more quality sleep with less sleep. The customer service reps on the phone were VERY nice and willing to help. Again, they were great. Our bed is finally here and up. NOW I can only hope it is worth the money because heaven forbid I need their customer service for any issues.

Buyer Beware, you do not want to buy a Sleep Number Bed. You are told that you will have the best sleep of your life and that the bed will stop yours and/or your partners snoring. Not true! There are actually two positions on the remote for Snore and Partner Snore. This was the selling point for us to purchase the bed. We bought the bed and continued to have problems with snoring for both of us. There was no reduction in the snoring.
Furthermore, you are guaranteed that you can return the bed if you are not completely satisfied after 100 days. Partially true. What you probably dont remember is you can only return the bed, not the base that you have to buy in order to use the bed. The base is fully connected to the bed and remote controls. What good is the base without the bed? Make sure you fully understand that you cannot return the base. You own it because they will not take it back. As was in our case, we bought the split-king and had a hard time sleeping in the bed. It took more than two weeks after our agreed upon delivery date to get the bed. We actually got a bill for the bed before we received it.
We informed Sleep Number we wanted to return the bed within three weeks. The bed is too high off of the floor which makes it impossible to sit on the side without breaking down the side panels. We constantly felt that we were rolling out of the bed because it is higher in the middle. The bed did nothing to relieve our snoring. It took over four weeks to get the bed returned to Sleep Number and we had to pay for the return shipping service. We are still out over $4000 for a base we cannot use, not to mention the cost of the return. We do not recommend this bed to anyone.

I have a Tempur-Pedic mattress, one of the top-of-the-lines, and I wanted to try a couple of the Sleep Numbers to compare because I believe in good sleep for everyone. My wife and I bought two Sleep Number beds with the base and all the electronics with it, and we definitely think they are superior. They're for my mother-in-law and sister-in-law and they both love them. However, we did not like the first saleslady. She was too strong and pushy. We left that store and I knew I wanted that bed, so we went to a different store, and the salesperson there was not as pushy and was more educational. We also saved money because we caught the first saleslady lying too. Apart from that, the installation was perfect. Overall, it's a good product and I tell everybody about it. I've been sleeping on it now for six months but I don't exactly like that I wanted to have a soft bed but when I sit on it, I sink down when I'm trying to put my shoes on. I was so excited to finally get the Sleep Number that I've been hearing about for years. I've been using the bed for 2 1/2 yrs now. It's the most disappointing purchase I've made. I was willing to pay the extremely high cost of the mattress for a good bed. Unfortunately, this is not a comfortable bed at all. I get up with back aches. I've tried lower settings and finally moved it to 100% thinking I need it to be firmer. The worst part is that the mattress sags terribly. I get in on my side and practically roll to the center. Getting out of the bed from the center is like trying to climb uphill. There is no problem with the air pump or the foam. It's been like this since I got it. My husband and I purchased our Ultra 3 bed back in 1998. In 2010 we were having problems with one side of the bed going flat so we took it apart to investigate. At that time we noticed that the internal foam and the air chambers were very moldy. I contacted Select Comfort support and told them what happened. They said that at that time the beds were not treated for mold and that they would replace the two components free of charge. At the time I thought how honorable. The real problem however was that because none was mold resistant the whole bed should have been replaced. I was not instructed by the customer service representative to inspect the pillow topper carefully for mold. But now I know, I had noticed some mildew and used heavily diluted bleach water to clean.
So long story short, is that this whole mess is costing us $883.43, buyer be very mindful. I love my bed but wish that I would have been told, or that everything would have been replaced in 2010. I went from being the happiest customer to one that is pretty dissatisfied. Yes they gave me a discount, but had they advised me to check everything out carefully or just replaced the whole bed as it was not mold resistant in 2010, I wouldn't be here very disappointed and out a bunch of money. I asked to speak with the lead to plead my case but per the gal that was on the phone she wouldn't take my call. I don't believe that is very good customer service. I don't know if I'm being realistic here or not, but I don't think that what they did was right, mold is a serious issue. Is there any way that I could get some of if not all of that money back?

A year ago, we got a mattress from them and the sales reps were helpful. It's improved my wife's sleep but it doesn't seem to be a good solution for a person who sleeps on their belly. It's quite painful. If you're weighted heavier in the middle, it allows your stomach to go down into the mattress and it concaves your back. Then, if you harden it up to account for that, then you have your back being arched. But it's been fine so far. Sleep Number resolved a problem that we had with the mattress which was sagging in the middle and had our body shape embedded into it. I also have noticed the loss of air in one of the sides but it doesn't seem to be a persistent problem. I would buy another one if I needed another bed.

I purchased a Limited Edition Innovation bed with adjustable base, and sleep IQ technology for an extra $300, paid total $8,000.00 2 years ago. The mattress is hanging off the base leaving a gap of 9-12 inches in the middle of the bed and you falling off the bed or hanging on to it when using. I started notifying Sleep Number at 3 months. The mattress has been replaced entirely once under warranty within the first 2 year with additional items, shark bites that bolt and hold the mattress more effectively acknowledging to me a defect issue they have with this product. The problem has reoccurred. Since second round, the same constant manufacturing issue, I asked for an upgraded mattress to be fair that maybe doesn't have this issue paying a prorated rate plus a discount for this inconvenience of their manufacturing issue.
A Select Comfort supervisor offered to replace the same components again for the tune of $690.66 since now we are two days over the 2 year warranty and now I'm in prorate years. I was told to fill the mattress to 100 every time I wanted to get in and before I got out of bed, so not doing this! So after paying $8000.00 for a bed, I have to pay an additional $690.66 per year to fix the manufacturing issue with the mattress every year, and it's prorated my friends, so that price will increase every year, Sleep Number befitting. I told her to email me how much I have to pay to fix said issue in writing as this was unacceptable to me as most likely it will not resolve the problem being replaced already. We purchased a Sleep Number Bed from the "Greens" in Beavercreek, Ohio in 2015. My wife included two pillows with the purchase of the bed. She specifically asked the salesperson if she could return the pillows if she did not like them. The pillows were basically crap (Low quality and expensive). When we tried to return the pillows, we were informed we could not return them unless they were defective. They were not so much defective as inferior quality. Also, my Sleep Number computer quit working and Tech Support was not able to remedy the situation. Two star rating at best. Would not recommend your product to anyone!

I needed a new mattress and my back was hurting. I got a Sleep Number and had it delivered. I was out in Pennsylvania and they weren’t supposed to deliver it until after I got back. But when I got back, the mattress was already sitting here, so I was not pleased with that. I spoke to them and they told me they had no control over it, which is stupid because they should be able to tell you a date which they can ship no later than that date. Apparently that didn’t happen and they said they couldn’t do that. Other than that and the delivery fees, the bed is excellent. I got a sheet, too, when they went on sale.

So, that’s what we did. And their delivery team gave us a whole bunch of information. My wife loves our Sleep Number bed, however, I do not like it. I am sleeping in a recliner. I can’t find a position and I can’t find a number and I’ve tried every adjustment. When it got to where the numbers seemed right, it felt like I was always falling out. It just didn’t work for me, but the experience was fine. In addition, I haven’t had anybody else I talked to that didn’t like it, and we talked to a lot of people before we got it.

Anybody considering buying a Sleep Number be aware of the fact that you are totally at the mercy of the company's delivery department as to when you will get your bed. A friend of mine ordered a bed from the same store and the same salesman. She was given a delivery date of 4 days after sale. I was given a delivery date of 22 days after sale. We only live 8 miles apart. I called customer service and asked for a better date. They told me they were at the mercy of the delivery department.
Today I received a call to verify delivery on Tuesday. Today being Friday. It just so happens that there may be a major snow storm in my area. When I spoke to the delivery department they said that they will make every attempt to deliver but if they cannot they will give me the next available date. Not mind you the very next day, but the next available day. In other words you will get your bed whenever we damn well deliver it. My suggestion is to make your purchase contingent on a delivery date of your choosing not theirs. This may or may not help.

I bought a Sleep Number p5 mattress, and I also got the base, pillows, and bedding. When I was at Sleep Number, the reps gave me the standard sit down and try it out. And, the lady manager was very kind. She offered me the opportunity to go in the back and look at the mattresses to see if they're heavy or not, and in fact, they're very light. That was really nice because I was able to see if I could lift it around. I had my items delivered and the delivery guys set it up and then they left. I had no problems.
Overall, the quality is very good, but I would have liked for it to come standard equipped with a foam top, but other than that, it does as advertised. The only thing is that the software or the app that comes with it is very lackluster. Its readings tend to fluctuate daily, in which the amount of time that I spend asleep or my heart rate seems to be a little finicky. Also, it doesn’t want to connect to the phone all the time. It needs to be polished a little. I don’t use it, so, it's not a big deal and it doesn’t affect my use of the bed. All in all, my experience has been very good.

We were very satisfied with the purchase of our Sleep Number mattress and the mattress itself. It is very comfortable. We were very dissatisfied with the delivery of the mattress. When the two delivery men arrived I asked them to wear footies over their shoes since they would be entering my carpeted bedroom. Our house is new and the carpet is beige. They put them on but later took them off while they were working, which I did not appreciate. One of the men was busy texting his wife several times when he was suppose to be putting our bed together. The most upsetting thing that happened was that one of the men stole my crystal seahorse I had bought in Waterford, Ireland. It was on my night stand and now it is gone. I called the company and they said they could not do anything unless I filed a police report. I do not want to get the police involved. It's too bad the company has untrustworthy people delivering their products.

We have four of the Sleep Number beds now. The most recent one we bought was in the last six months, a queen-sized C2, and we pretty much buy the same thing every time. We were educated consumers. We already owned a few of those, so the salesman didn't have to sell too hard which he didn't and he made it very fast and easy.
But we had a dual chamber before that was bad. So, we interacted with them trying to get them to send us a new one because we knew there was a problem within the first day we set it up. But it took a number of phone calls. I waited for 48 minutes on hold calling the customer service and that's ridiculous. Nobody's customer service should have it that long just to answer the phone. I know everybody's trying to cut costs somewhere but if they're really gonna cut their staff that low, then they need to do a queue system that some of the other companies are using where they'll call you back.
I finally gave up, hung up and called the guy who sold it to me thinking he'd have something invested in this game but he wasn't there. The other person at the store said they have to call customer service and I said I already did that. What it finally took was my salesman had to come back to work which was a couple of extra days. He pushed back on customer service to get us a new one. There was a certain sequence in which you test it, he asked if we tried them and I said yes. He said they'll send me another one and I had it in less than a week. So, once they did something, it was exactly what we needed to be done and it was no problem. Also, they have good products and we're very pleased with them.

Frankly, I was nervous because when I went online last year, Sleep Number was getting a lot of negative internet exposure about not delivering the product and having a lot of failures. The reps assured me as to why it had happened and did some changes. They made me comfortable that I didn't need to worry about my purchase.
I had home delivery and the people set the mattress up, and everything went perfect. I was replacing one and moving it to another home. They were gracious enough to help me box up what I was replacing and give me, at least, a little bit of confidence before I moved and set up the second one on my own, which all worked out perfectly as well. We had a Sleep Number before and it deteriorated over the years, so we went out and bought a different kind of bed and we weren’t happy with it. So we went back to Sleep Number and got the mattress and the legs that go under the base. But I was a little disappointed this time because when we bought our first bed, we got two remotes because it’s a queen size bed. This new bed only came with one remote.
When I called them, because I thought there’s got to be a mistake, they said, “No, it only comes with one remote.” I told her that’s crazy. Because you’ve got two people sleeping on a queen size bed and the beauty of it was that each one of you could control your bed the way you wanted it to be. And she said, “Oh, well, you can pass the controller back and forth.” If you’re sound asleep during the night and one of you wakes up and wants to adjust your bed and the remote is on the other side, that's a pain. They said we would have to pay for the second remote separately. The service was good but Sleep Number should go back to giving out two remotes for a queen size bed.

I was pregnant and basically could not get comfortable to save my poor life. My partner is much heavier than I am so on our old bed, I kept dipping and turning into him. We decided to correct that and get a Sleep Number cause we knew it would be comfortable in the long run. First, the sales reps wanted to find out what our sleep numbers were, so they put us on a mattress and showed us the pressure point relief as they increased or decreased the stiffness of the bed. When we flipped on our sides, they did the same thing.
We got an idea of where our number range was. Then we gave a very honest budget and they showed us the bed in that budget range, and that's where we looked. They did everything in their power to get the price down as low as they possibly could for us. We got the basic box and then two knee pillows for free and that helped a lot during the pregnancy.
The Sleep Number is a hard bed to ship. We are military and even though we put the caps on when we moved, the mattress is still deflated inside the mattress cover. It was a really heavy and awkward mess. Also, one of the zippers on the mattress cover completely broke and it was really annoying. We decided to take it and stuff it in the basement because it never stays put. The temperature regulating pad that is put on top like a foam pad works really nicely. We're trying to convince my parents to buy a Sleep Number as we know they would love it and they need it so desperately.

Our mattress wasn't that old but my daughter had their Sleep Number for a month and kept bragging on it so I came over, tested it and it was cool. So we went down Sleep Number's place that Saturday and the sales rep was very nice but didn't have to sell us as we were already sold when we went. I love my Sleep Number. I wouldn't turn it back in for anything. It works every time.
We got the double where they're like twins and my side can come up and his side can stay down. The delivery people came in, set it all up and took care of it. I like all the different ways that he could be and I could be in the same bed, which is really nice. He needs to sleep with his feet up because he's diabetic. We also got to where I can look on my phone to see how rested we were the whole night. My only complaint was there was an extra cost for a skirt going around the bottom. Also, the bedspread doesn’t go all the way to the floor so I can see how the bed ends and begins from the floor. By the time we bought the sheets, the expense was getting a bit much so we didn’t opt to get the skirt.
But overall, the quality of the mattress is great. We've had it for a while but it's still as superior now as it was when we bought it. There's a lifetime guarantee on it, too. I've recommended it to people who've asked "it costs that much?" and I said that they don't have to get all the bells and whistles which is what we did. I just got out of the hospital where I had half of my lung removed and was really glad that I had all the different places where I could lay. So when I came home, I went to bed and it was wonderful to be able to adjust my Sleep Number bed in comfort the way I felt I needed it. I am very happy with the Sleep Number bed.

These sheets are not quality and are simply unacceptable. We have had to purchase 6 sets since purchasing the sheets, because they repeatedly split where the flex top ends. A Select Comfort supervisor took my call and offered to replace the same components again. I told him that was unacceptable to me as most likely it will not resolve the problem. Further, he told me my costs for a technician to repair it would be $400+. I think not. I will be filing a small claims suit shortly.

From the minute me and my husband walked in the store in Coconut Creek, FL the customer service was amazing. Margie was so sweet and knowledgeable, she walked us through every step and made sure we made the best decision for our comfort. We felt like we walked into her home with how she treated us. I would absolutely recommend Sleep Number to friends and recommend they go see Margie. Best customer service in a long time.

This was our first purchase with Sleep Number and we got the whole thing. We did everything online and had our orders delivered at home. The delivery guys were very thorough and nice. Everything was set up nice and they showed me how to work it. Although I like the the top sheets, it's so long. It's way longer than the bed, and it always ends up balled up and choking me. But other than that, we're good and were satisfied with the mattress.

I had some back surgery and nothing was working in the positions that I was in on a regular mattress. My sister had back surgery, too and Sleep Number worked for her. Their sales rep Donna was awesome. She was probably the best salesperson I’ve ever met. She listened to us and knew everything about every bed. I was amazed. She asked us about how we liked to sleep on pillows and put us on every mattress that was in the store and the last one was the one we liked. The delivery team were very behind that day. The guy lost his cellphone and they had a hard time getting him to contact us. It was 9:00 when they left that night but it was okay and they did a good job.
I lay it flat every night because of the foam. I want to make sure it doesn’t get indented. And as soon as I get in and I get myself aligned, I can just feel all that pressure coming off my back. It’s awesome. The only complaint that I have is the mattress seems to be too short for the king size bed that we have. So I have this big gap between the mattress itself and the headboard. And I have to put a blanket in between so that my pillow doesn’t go down in the middle of the night. Also, my husband's frame seems a little bit closer at the top than mine does. He still got a blanket between his headboard and the mattress too, but his is not as drastic as mine. But I like that the bed splits in the middle and it’s very nice. My husband moves around a lot and I don’t even feel it, so it’s awesome. I really love Sleep Number. It’s made a huge difference for me. And we’re getting older so every little bit that we can do to make our sleep that much better is awesome.

I was trying to get a good, comfortable night's sleep so I purchased a Sleep Number mattress with 2 pillows and 3 sets of sheets. Everything went great with the sales rep and their delivery team was good, too. I like the bed, but because my husband has his setting up a little bit higher than mine, the mattress shifts over to my side whenever he's on it, and that's my biggest problem. I have to push on that mattress every day to make the bed up, and I'm very feeble. But still, it's been a good experience.

We liked our old Sleep Number bed which we bought 17 years ago. It's a basic bed and it's still very comfortable. When we moved that to our cabin, we bought a Serta and it was time for that one to be replaced. When we were shopping for our new bed, we decided to try out the Sleep Number again. We went to the Roseville location, tried out a bunch of different beds there, laid on them, tried to figure out what we wanted and the rep was helpful. However, we're not super happy with the new Sleep Number bed. It's not as comfortable and for the price we paid, we have a little bit of buyer's remorse on it. But we still love the one in our cabin and we're happy with it.

My husband and I were looking for a bed that is high quality, would last a long time and be comfortable. Our current mattress gave us horrible back pain. In the store, the employee was great and quite helpful. The delivery dates however were so sparse that it took over a month from date of purchase to receive the bed. Once we got the bed, we both tried different settings but no matter what we did it was so uncomfortable. To get it soft enough we had to put it at a low sleep number but then it was like sleeping on a deflated air mattress. My back is hurting even more than before. We called to return and they said they would send a new pillow top to try at no charge.
The pillow top they sent is the same one that makes the bed almost $6000 from $4000. I was astounded by how low quality it was. It was a cheap egg crate pad that Walmart probably wouldn't even sell. To disassemble the bed to change out the pads, we realized that the entire bed is quite low quality. Not what we expected for spending $6000. They even included the invoice and the pad for a king size bed is only $13 and that is what upgrades the bed that they charge $2000 for. Ultimately we returned the bed and felt that it was somewhat of a scam due to quality of materials and price paid. I caution anyone who is considering a Sleep Number purchase.

Our Sleep Number bed is JUST over two years old. For the entire two years I've been telling my husband something doesn't work right on it. A 40 on one side is completely different than the other side. And because my husband is so much bigger than me, the feeling of my side changes when he gets in or out of bed. I tried to explain this to the store shortly after we bought it and he kept saying "well it has two air chambers". Right, however it shares the same surface, so when my husband leaves down the surface tension is tightened on my side of the bed. When he gets up the surface tension is released, so my side of the bed feels completely different regardless of what number I put the firmness on. I essentially am not even laying on the air chamber when he is in the bed because his side sinks down so far and pushes me up so high. That's always been an issue but I couldn't get the salesperson (weeks after we got it) to understand that.
Now, probably a month after our warranty expired (because the warranty is actually TERRIBLE) the pump is saying both sides are at 100 when actually both sides are empty. Our remote got broken but it isn't working with the app like it has been for the past few months. The support on the phone was worthless. Basically if there wasn't a kink in the hose or something unplugged, the option was to buy new parts. Because that "25 year warranty" expired a month ago. (READ THE FINE PRINT PEOPLE.) I essentially slept on a plastic base last night (because we don't have another place to move my five month old's bassinet to with a place for me to sleep still) and will be doing it for a week until the remote comes... or two weeks when that doesn't work and we need a new pump for $400 (starting at $400... we don't know exactly yet). I'm sure we don't need that.
It's a technology issue I believe but the woman on the phone we spoke to wasn't particularly helpful if the problem wasn't one that came from their specific list of troubleshooting. We will keep this for the time being (and get replacement parts) because it was so expensive but never again. It is a glorified air mattress and if I slept like a baby on it normally that would be one thing, but since day one I tried to explain to the sales rep who sold us the bed something didn't feel right but was spoken to like I was the problem. Should've gone with my gut and got rid of the thing while we had the chance.

They sent us a pad to go on top of the mattress because they said that the mattress cover is for a mattress that's bigger in size than the mattress we have. Then we ended up buying another over-mattress pad, so we have two pads over our bed. I was upset to think that the man sold us the mattress cover when he knew that it was the wrong one. My mother-in law and father-in-law, and my mom and dad both have split comfort kind of beds from Sleep Number and they swear by them. We had a traditional mattress and we were in the market needing a new bed and we tested them out. Sleep Number was priced a little higher than what I wanted to spend. But we wanted to be able to adjust our independent sides and they had a lot of features that we liked. Also, I anticipate the mattress life to be longer than a standard mattress because my mom and dad had theirs for 18 years. We went two or three times to different Sleep Number stores before we were able to purchase. They demonstrated the bed and we had it delivered. They were on time, set it up, showed us how it worked, answered all of our questions and explained everything. They did a great job and we got in it and use it before they left.
We bought the iLE model and we had the mattress, mattress cover and the adjustable base that inclines and the feet raises. Then, we went back and bought sheet sets and a few other things. We've only had the bed for a year but I already had an issue in which the bed and some of the foam walls were starting to squat. I called them last month and they stood behind the product and the warranty that they have. They sent me the replacement parts out for free and completely replaced the pillow top on the mattress.
If I understand their warranty correctly, the first two years are fully covered and then for the rest of your life, it declines on a percentage basis. I hope I don't have to use the warranty again. When I spend that kind of money, I wouldn't anticipate having issues after a year but we did and I'm a little concerned about that. But the customer service has been fantastic all the way from the time we bought it in sales to dealing with them recently on the warranties. And as long as they're going to stand behind their product, I'm satisfied with that.

It's not my favorite bed, to be honest. My husband likes it and we've spent $4000 so far. However, for the money that we paid, it's not quite what I expected.
The rep's very nice and helpful to us. We tried out different beds and we're trying to figure out if we needed the foot raise option. My husband, again, wanted that. It was hard to tell the difference between the beds but we chose the one that seems to be one of the most popular. The delivery team was great as well. They explained the process of how the bed is put together and they were very quick and respectful of my home.
My biggest complaint is that my husband probably weighs twice as much as I do and when we are in the bed together, even if we have different numbers, my part of the bed still leans in towards his. The reason why we went to Sleep Number because that was happening with the traditional mattress. Then the padding that goes around the exterior to keep the beds together also causes the mattress to seem like it's more solid on the outside and not so much on the inside, and I lean in towards the middle. Those are my two biggest issues with the bed. I personally wouldn't recommend it. The experience was great but I don't know if it's the right bed for me.

Some of our friends have a Sleep Number and they have none but good things to say about it so we went into the store in more of a serious purchasing mode and tested a few of them out and ended up purchasing one.
We got the P6 which was not on display at the time we went. Only the P5 was there but we ended up researching a lot online and found that people were writing about the extra cushion on the P6 was the way to go. And the sales experience was good, too. We were in two or three times before we made the purchase because it's dependent on the salesperson and how good they were interacting with us.
When we went in the last time, they were patient and let us test out beds before which is what they're supposed to do. They werent pushy and the process didn't take too long as far as start to finish. They were very good about sticking with us and making sure that they can answer questions as we came up with them and giving us space to talk when we needed time to discuss the investment itself and whether or not it was a go.
There were definitely a couple of things that we wish we would have gotten the first time around but we didn't but as far as the quality of the bed and as far as it is helping my back, the benefits far outweigh the regrets of what we would have purchased. The bed has excellent quality. We're very satisfied with the product and we recommend it to friends who are shopping for beds to let them know that we definitely felt it was a very good investment.

I re-herniated three discs (L3 - L5 and S1) in 2013, so my needs for a bed change. It was good but then I could hear air leaks coming from both sides of the bed so I had to call back and order the air chamber parts. I'm guessing those parts won't arrive until Monday pm. Very disappointed that no parts are available locally, I mean this is my only bed - sleeping on the floor SUCKS. So far, we like the bed but not the sheets. It has not even been a year that we've been sleeping on it but the sheets have ripped on me. So I've just started using bamboo sheets that I bought from Target, which are king size and both sides can go up and won't rip. They were also a hell of a lot cheaper than those ripped sheets. Those sheets are over $200 a set, and I'm not going to pay $200 a set for them to rip. They're overpriced and don’t last. I've also sent back the mattress cover because it did the same thing the sheets did. My fiancé does work in the bed after I go to bed and sometimes I watch TV while his side is down. So whenever one side is up, it's putting tension down and ripping everything. Sleep Number sent me a new one. I'd recommend them.

I wasn't happy with the bed I had and decided to try Sleep Number. Their sales rep was very helpful. She put me down on one of the beds that had a sensor that tells where my body pressure was and walked me through going from really soft to really hard. Basically, she had me go through to where I felt was most comfortable and figure out that initial Sleep Number. Then we talked about sheets. She showed me different types of sheets and I found the ones I liked. The delivery team brought the bed in, set it up pretty quick, and then walked me through as far as how to adjust it. I'm still dialing things in a little bit. After a while, I got one pillow. That was seven months later and that seemed to have made my sleep a little bit better. I'm happy with my Sleep Number.

My wife was grumpy because she wasn't sleeping well. The overall quality of the Sleep Number products has been good so far. Their sales professionals did a great job for us. They listened to what we had to say and got us in and out without a bunch of sales crap. Installation was quick and easy. The installers explained everything, and we were very happy.

This is our second Sleep Number bed and I bought my first one 17 years ago. The salespeople were terrific and helpful. I came in earlier that Saturday and said I'd be back because I needed to bring my husband with me. The gentleman gave me his card and said he would be there all day. When I came back a few hours later, he made time for me. We were at the store for an hour and a half and he went through the whole process and showed us a bunch of different mattresses. We bought the mattress and the adjustable bed portion and had it delivered, which went smoothly. The delivery people set it up for me and didn't take long at all. My husband and I have very different sleep habits so having the ability to change the softness is perfect. My twin sister also has one and it's also her second one. I'll always buy a Sleep Number and would recommend them to anybody who is looking to buy a new mattress. I love it and would never buy another bed.

We had a Sleep Number bed before and we wanted to upgrade so we bought another one. We got the king size dual adjustable head-and-foot-up-and-down deal. The delivery team was good and got everything cleaned up. Everything was good to go.

Sleep Number was well rated by Consumer Reports so I purchased a mattress from them online about a year ago. UPS delivered it and I put it together myself. The overall quality of the mattress has been good so far. My experience was pretty straightforward and it's good because the mattress works as it was advertised.

I heard that the Sleep Number is a more comfortable bed. It's been good so far and I like the one that I have. I bought the mattress and the base. They shipped it to me and I set it up myself, which was easy to do.

My other bed which was old has started sagging so I got a Sleep Number. The sales rep was all right and the bed is of good quality. I've been enjoying it all the time I’ve had it.

My wife wanted a Sleep Number and she insisted on it. So we got the whole bed unit, a queen size bed with the moving up and firmness and softness features. The sales person was very informative. We got a good rate, a good finance and it was delivered on time. When I call them for a question or an issue, the people at Sleep Number are very supportive. They try to walk you through it over the phone. If that doesn’t work, then they send out a technician to help. Our whole experience with them has been very good.

My wife and I have different requirements for beds so we got the i8 Sleep Number mattress. When they originally set it up, we had them put another pad on it afterwards but now, it just slides down and makes a big gap on the top of the bed. We’re trying to fix that with the Minneapolis office and though I do have their attention now, they have been slow in the past to even acknowledge it or react to it. I’m disappointed that I spent $4,500 for a bed and I’m having problems with it. It’ll probably be fine once we fix those problems, but it seems to be dragging out a while.

Other people who I talked to who had Sleep Number told me that they liked the bed and they slept better so I decided to try it as well. I wanted something different from what I had. I talked to a lady at the store and she put me on a bed. She adjusted the pressure on it to give different firmness settings and told me that is probably the setting that would be most comfortable for me. We discussed a couple of different options before I chose a bed.
Also, I had good experience with their delivery team. They were a bit early and I had another meeting scheduled before then. But they were doing their thing and I didn't need to be there to watch them set everything up. Since then, I've been happy with the quality of my purchase. I like the Sleep Number better than my old bed of about three/four years. I know the adjustable base has a lot to do with it because I have a problem with my leg. Now I can sleep with my legs propped up and my head at an angle. I also like that zero-gravity setting. I've passed the word on to a few friends and relatives that I had changed to Sleep Number. People should give it a try. Go into the store and see what their mattresses are like.

I tried to get a good bed because I couldn't sleep and to help me with my snoring. So, I purchased a Sleep Number bed. So far, my experience was great. It's comfortable and I look forward to going to bed. Their reps were wonderful. We had the bed delivered at home and their delivery team were courteous and professional. They went through the whole 10 yards and did a really good job. I feel strongly about its quality. I feel good about it and I would get another one if I have the money. I wish it was cheaper though.

I made my first Sleep Number purchase because I was looking for a different bed. Their sales professionals were friendly and were able to help me out. I had the bed delivered to my home and their team put it together for me. However, I felt that the foam could've been better, especially on the air mattress part. It's kinda squishy. It should have been a little more firm. Also, the battery on the remote doesn't seem to last very long.
