I've had a Sleep Number bed for around 20 years or more. I recently purchased a base to the bed. Their sales rep was excellent and he understood what I was talking about. The delivery guys were good, too. They showed up on time and was respectful of our home. The quality of the bed has been good for its cost so far.

My mother recently purchased a Sleep Number bed to help with chronic back pain. Unfortunately, the bed she tried in the store was not the same bed that was delivered. To top it all off, there were several issues with the one that was delivered. We've had service techs out trying to fix the mattress three times since it was delivered. 100 night guarantee? Nope. She'll only receive about half of what she paid because they won't take the base back, on a defective product. And no one at the store mentioned that when she paid $5,000 for a bed that continues to have issues, even it's been "repaired." This is more than just poor service.

It's important for all of our customers to know that our adjustable base models are all final sales, which is an industry standard practice due to their significant size and weight, which makes them difficult to ship back to our returns warehouse. We provide this information on our website, at the register in each of our stores, and on the receipt we ask our customers to sign once they complete their order, so this information should have been provided in her paperwork. We bought our 5000 bed in 2002. The bed has performed to our satisfaction for 15 yrs with only a replacement for the air pump about 3 years ago. Yesterday, a friend mentioned that their same bed had bad mold on the two air chambers and the foam that covers the air chambers. The wife decided to take the bed apart down to the chambers. She found solid mold, both on the chambers and the foam cover. Needless to say she was very upset as we had no idea that Sleep Number beds made before 2004 had this major problem. One phone call to Sleep Number Customer Service and the problem was solved. They are replacing the air chambers and the foam cover for free with free shipping. No problem, the lady that helped my husband was terrific and took care of us right now to make it right. This company is top of the line taking care of their customers. Thank you, Sleep Number Beds.

The sales rep was very professional and informative. Our items were delivered on time and put up professionally by the delivery people. We're very pleased with the quality of the Sleep Number bed. We've expected to spend but we considered a good investment.

Purchased a Sleep Number i10 on 10/3. Sales experience was ok. After that it went downhill. Bed was to be delivered on 10/12 and went back and forth with delivery time on that date. They stated the delivery truck broke down but didn't call me until 7:30 when shipment was to be between 2-6. Took off half of day's work for delivery - and dispatcher was VERY rude and said "things happen".
Next scheduled delivery date was 10/18. BUT they call me the next day and delivery person was on his way. Had to make arrangements for someone to be there. When they arrived - they had nothing to open the box with and no tools. Once bed was installed, their car wouldn't start. So we had to help get the, a jump start for their vehicle (-all of this at 9pm at night). Once they left, things were plugged improperly and my son had to correct. I have attempted to contact customer service and have been on hold for 17 minutes during the first call then 27 minutes the second. No response.

My husband and I purchased a Sleep Number mattress set (twin XL) in November 2015. We already had the adjustable base and from day one I always said the bed we received is not the one we tested in the store. We've adjusted the settings multiple times and I continue to suffer with chronic back pain. I was traveling the past couple of weeks and stayed in multiple hotels to find that my back didn't hurt one night while I was away and as soon as I returned home to my Sleep Number bed, the chronic back pain returned immediately.
We never contacted Sleep Number customer service because we purchased the mattresses during a Friends & Family sale and was told they weren't returnable. The sales guy called us weekly until we finally made the purchase and then we never heard from him a day after. No follow up call to see how the bed was working for us or anything. Unfortunately this wasn't a wise investment for us and now we're going to have to purchase new mattresses again.

We spent $4400 on a bed for my parents. There was a part missing between the frame and headboard. Karen ** promised everything was taken care of. You were very happy to take our money before delivery. We were very excited and had to wait for the bed to be delivered. It has been a week since delivery and still waiting for them to return with the part and assembly. We also have a Select Number bed and spent thousands. However, if I do not hear from you ASAP, I will be returning the bed along with instructions from attorney.

We had a Queen size Sleep Number for 12 years. When we started shopping for a new mattress, we decided to stay with the same company since we were very pleased with them. We got the mattress, base, pillows and the mattress pad on our recent purchase. Their sales rep was very pleasant. I was already familiar with the products so he didn't have to show me a lot, but he explained the difference between the different levels and types of mattresses. He was very helpful. Their delivery team was very prompt. They called ahead of time to let me know that they were on their way and it worked out fine. I'm very pleased with the quality of the items.

Have called 4 times on different days and different times of the day. The wait time is WAY WAY WAY TOOOOOO LONG. One call was almost 1 hour before hanging up. Every time I've called in, I get the same message of experiencing long wait times. This is either their product has a ton of issues or Sleep Number doesn't have enough product specialist available. Our pump's LCD's have failed and we need to see how much the warranty will cost.

Bed was ordered and paid for in August. Delivery in September was a disaster with wrong bed delivered and inexperienced techs sent to install. Left with a partially assembled bed and a box of spare parts. Still waiting for correct bed to be delivered and properly installed. After cutting through all the finger pointing (installers blaming store, store blaming installers, then finally store trying to blame me) supposedly the correct product will be delivered in late October. We'll see! I am not a first time buyer, but, I'm definitely a last time buyer!

We've heard good things about Sleep Number and a couple of people in my family had one and they liked it. So we went with them and everything was good with their sales reps. They were real helpful. Everything went well with the delivery, too. It was a good process all the way around.

When I purchased our I8 mattress we were told by our sales person that when their technician would set up our bed they would take us throughout the entire operation of the bed and explain just how it works to our satisfaction. This did not happen. We given a booklet with directions and told to read it. After reading all the directions we tried it out for the first time only to discover that the control for the right side operated the control for the left side. We called customer service. In fact we called them three times during different times of the day. Our shortest wait time on the phone before we could talk to someone was 25 minutes.
When we did reach a customer service representative he told us that their techs has hooked up the hoses backward and asked me if I would be willing to fix it because it might be awhile before they could get someone out to fix it. I explained that when I paid them $180 to deliver and set up the bed it was not reasonable for me to be the one to fix their mistake. They did schedule to come back but it will be about a week before they can do it. As for the bed, we have slept on it for two nights now and neither my wife nor I have felt any real difference in sleep quality from our old conventional mattress. I realize that this is a little soon to make a reasonable evaluation but so far we are not impressed.

My wife and I were very happy with our first experience purchasing our Sleep Number bed 3 years ago from the store in Cerritos, CA. So last week once we realized that my wife mama and papa need a new bed we went to your location in Valley Plaza Mall in Bakersfield and purchased one for our lovely parent. One of the your employee name Karen was very helpful and friendly, and because the case special for our parent we did spend $4321.87 because we requested specific parts, etc.
The day of the delivery your staff forgot to provide some extra that we require and paid for it, so after I made some phone call they rearrange for delivery. How bad this after we already waited for 1 week be delivered. According what may wife mother said, some other parts it's missing, or staff said we didn't pay included for. I called the store and would love speak with someone from Bakersfield, or even better I will love speak with the lady name Karen, your employee, and clarify something. Please if anyone will read this, my email, would you please call me at my cellphone number **? I will really appreciate that and looking forward to do more business with you, and be able to refer your business to other family members and friends.

I was perfectly happy with the sales rep of Sleep Number. He was knowledgeable and helped me with bedding, pillows, and a number of things. The only thing is we bought the one with the split top that moves. It tends to separate and we weren’t happy with that. So I’ve since gone back and bought a gel foam mattress top. However, that doesn’t allow us to use our sides separately but we’re making it work.

Very unhappy for the $6k I paid. We aren't comfortable in the bed. Someone had to come to fix a broken part w/in 1st wk. They say 30 days or return it if unhappy (sadly I'm not w/in time). However the base is never returnable.

Made our purchase and everything went amazingly well, and we scheduled delivery for the 14th of October. After a few days we received an email that our delivery date changed to the 28th of October. After trying to figure it out, calling around, and trying to get our date back, the best they could do was the 19th of October. Overall, I already have a bad impression of Sleep Number and the bed isn't even here. I'm going shopping this weekend, and if I can find a bed I like then, I'll be calling to cancel the Sleep Number order.

I got this bed on Aug. 15. I got my first bill a month later and had discovered that my credit had been maxed out. They told me one thing and charged me another. On top of that I was suppose to have a deferment on the interest rate for 12 months. It was only put in for six months. I called to talk to a customer service rep and they hung up on me. Called back a manager and she says "well you are still in the 100 night free, so we will just come get it". Rude!!! Not let us fix it, but we will come get it. Plus I have to pay them over 300 dollars to return it. Which includes a non-refundable delivery fee of a $179.00 and pick up fee of $179.00. Plus the taxes.

I'm sorry this experience hasn't been what you'd hoped for, Jae. My fiancé has back trouble and we thought a Sleep Number bed might be better and helpful. Their salespeople were fantastic, very impressive, knowledgeable, informative, and friendly. They had a wonderful follow-up and were available for any concerns or questions. The delivery guys were amazing and great too. They really worked hard and got it all done. It was a good experience. Sleep Number makes some cool products to help the bed cool down. They have a pillow cover and a mattress protector that cool the body. We’ve been impressed and it’s a neat bed.
I like how it moves in all these other positions too. However, when we do move the bed, I'm afraid that our cat or dog is going to get its tail cut off. They like to lie under the bed and there are little rollers underneath it that roll along a track. Another concern is that the bed is losing and gaining air on its own accord. Something is a little flaky with the control thing. I also worry about when we have to ever replace our carpet. I don’t know how in the world we'd move all the stuff because there are all these electronic stuff underneath the bed. Otherwise, the bed is awesome and we’re happy with it.

We got a Sleep Number mattress. All our interactions with their sales reps were very good. They were helpful. We scheduled home delivery and setup of our purchase. My wife said the delivery went smoothly. The delivery crew set the bed up and explained how to work the incline. The product is good and we like and enjoy using it.

I'm not sleeping well with the usual aches and pains of the mattress, so I purchased two beds from Sleep Number - one with the mattress and the moving base, and then one with just the mattress. Everyone at Sleep Number was very polite and very informative. The delivery went well. But we had a couple of hiccups on the base setup, then they came back and made an adjustment and corrected that.
So far, we're thoroughly enjoying it. However, I still need to call back the 1-800 number because the original SleepIQ that we had on the mattress only was being returned. And they said they would mail me the information, and I still yet to receive any of that. The mattresses, which when we called, they sent some additional foam. With the mattress in place, I can almost see like a rectangle when the bedspread was off the bed. Other than that, it was just an aesthetic thing.

Not only do you have a horrible product, dishonest sales people, and poor customer service; but your facebook administrators censor people who agree with the other customers you have wronged. This is fine because when I sue you I will make sure this additional shady behavior comes out. Also letting the media and corporate offices know about your social media practices.

I have a bulging disc in my neck and I was not sleeping well, and we thought a Sleep Number bed will help align my spine better. We bought their mattress and it’s much better than the other mattresses that we’ve had. Everybody at Sleep Number has been very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, so we had a good experience. They delivered the mattress, and then my husband put it together. He’s very smart so it didn’t take him very long. It wasn't very difficult. It’s a very good product and I’m pleased with it.

Michelle and I were getting married and were going to get a bigger bed than what she or I had, so we started looking and decided, "There's a Sleep Number right close to us, it's the best. Let's go look at that first." So, we went in and what sold us was the salesman. He was very good, knowledgeable of the product, and everything he said is what we wanted to hear.
Michelle is a very particular sleeper, and this bed fits all the cracks here outside of it. We bought the mat, it goes on top of the mattress, and she had to take it off because it was keeping her too hot at night. Plus, the bed is very warm. We've done some other combination of things. She ended up changing the sheets to a different type of sheet just to make the bed cooler, and we've both been very well.
We got the Sleep Number technology and have found that to be very inconsistent. It is based on the number of hours we sleep because we can not feel a very good night's sleep at all from time to time and it shows that we still had a great night of sleep. Other times, because we slept less time but slept very sound, it says that we did not have a good night's sleep. We don't use the Sleep Number technology very often anymore. Nevertheless, the quality of our bed is great, and we love everything about our Sleep Number bed.

We recently purchased another Sleep Number mattress and it's been a great experience. The sales reps were good and the delivery team brought the mattress to us and set it up. They were absolutely courteous and careful. With our first one, my wife had worked through the pain in her back and she didn’t have it anymore when we got the second one. It’s a comfortable bed and we sleep good on it.

I've had Sleep Number in my home for five years. I bought the cheaper model this time around for my RV. The sales professional was great. She was helpful and she did everything she ought to do. She tried to give me options but I already knew what I wanted when I got there so I bypassed that. I set it up myself and I don't like it as good as the one I got in the house, but I like it just fine. The whole experience with Sleep Number was easy. They have good beds.

My Sleep Number bed for 20 years gave out. The base was still okay so I only bought a new queen-size mattress from Sleep Number. I think it's the only thing to sleep on. Moreover, the sales rep and delivery team were wonderful, just like they should be.

I bought a new Sleep Number set which they sent me a refurbished mattress. It was supposed to have a 20 year warranty. I did not notice that it was refurbished until I started having problems with it. It should have been a brand new mattress. I have checked with QVC, it was sold as a new mattress. It had obviously had a problem before to be "refurbished."

My problem is that my back is always getting worse and this takes the edge off when I go to sleep. But since I've had Sleep Number, it's a little better. Generally, I'm satisfied with the quality of the bed. I knew what I wanted when I went in the store. I got the base which is adjustable and one of those cool touch covers for the mattress. The delivery team was in and out in half an hour. It's pretty painless and straightforward experience. All I can say is if you have a bad back, an adjustable mattress is the way to go.

I had seen Sleep Number advertised on television and my other bed was not very comfortable so I decided to check into it. When I did, I liked the demonstration so I purchased their mattress. The representatives were very good and knowledgeable. The delivery team were also great. I like Sleep Number very much. It's very comfortable and I like the fact that the head will raise.

Firstly, this company has some of the worst customer service I have ever received. I called to schedule for a tech to come out because my bed is sliding off the base each night I sleep on it as well as it being lopsided. I do not believe that I was forced to pay 180 for a tech to come to my house for 10 minutes and say nothing is wrong with my bed. I was also advised that the service men do not carry tools with them so if they needed to come out again it would be another 180. I have never heard of anything so ridiculous.
As of present date my bed still moves and I have to pull it back up each morning. This bed is not worth the money paid for it and the reps over the phone are of no help and rude. I refuse to pay another 180 so I am stuck at this point. I feel as though I have been swindled and charging customers 180 EACH WAY to come out to assess a bed that has a warranty is awful. I will most definitely get rid of this bed as soon as I am able.

We want you to know that while our warranty does help cover the cost of any necessary replacement components due to defects, it does not cover the cost to have a technician come and service the bed. We intentionally manufacture our beds to be very easy to troubleshoot in the event our owners do have any concerns, so that we can get them back to sleeping comfortably as quickly as possible. In this case, the troubleshooting would only require unzipping the cover and checking the foam inserts of the bed, and we'd be happy to walk you through that process. My husband and I purchased a bed on 9/3/2016. We had no problem purchasing the bed at the store. In fact our salesperson (Elizabeth ** Of the White Marsh Mall Store) was extremely helpful... After that, it has been a total nightmare for us. The bed was to be delivered on 9/13. We did not receive a phone call at all before the delivery date. I called customer service on 9/13 to find out a time. They had to call me back... This is now 12:30, received a callback and was told they would deliver between 1 pm & 4 pm...
We waited - no show - called back, was told it would be from 4 pm - 8 pm. We live in a security building and deliveries are not allowed after 6 pm, but we can open a side door if we choose to (and we chose to). Received a call back, was told they were running late and it wouldn't be until 9 pm. That's totally not appropriate. We are older people and are not up to having something delivered that time of night. So I canceled it. Called the next day to get a delivery date, could not get one until 9/30. Was not happy about that, but since we had already purchased the bed I guess we had to wait. Your customer service representatives are just not up on their job (or something). Do they not make notes of things people tell them? I called my salesperson and she tried to get a date sooner than 9/30. I guess no one cared.
Well 9/30 came, had not heard from anyone about the delivery. I called customer service, was told it would be 4 pm to 8 pm. I stated to her "we could not have delivery after 6 pm." So I guess she called someone. She called me back and said they would be here by 6:30 and they showed up a little early which was good. But then after the bed was put together the Dual temp layer would not work properly. They called someone and I spoke with him (he called me Mrs **). I told him I was Mrs. **. He told me they would have to order another one and make another date to come out to replace it. We have spent $3200 for this bed, and I was really close to canceling this order due to the problems we have had.
I'm keeping the bed and I do expect some sort of compensation for all these problems. If I have to I will go to the BBB because your customer service has a lot to be desired. Customer Service makes your company, even if there's one dissatisfied customer (and I'm certainly that dissatisfied customer). I'm hoping to hear from someone, that someone who can do something for me. Month after we got a delivery, but the dual queen temp layer did not work. It's now 10/7 - delivery is to be on 10/13. I have advised that no deliveries after 6 pm. (They just don't listen.)

I was having terrible pains with my back every night. I’m a small woman and it just didn’t make sense. I’m a relatively healthy woman but I’d literally be waking up at four in the morning in tears with back pain. It always seemed to be related to sleeping, so I figured it had to be our mattress. So, we saved to get the Sleep Number after I've done a lot of research on it. Their sales reps were always very professional and helpful. The delivery guys showed up on time and were very friendly.
Unfortunately, I'm not loving the bed. I thought I needed a really firm bed so we set the settings pretty high the first couple of weeks we had it and was miserable. It was just terrible pain and I literally busted out crying in the middle of the night one time. We'd spent all this money but then we ended up setting it up way low on my side. And that pretty much helps with the back pain but then there was a significant bar in the middle of the bed to where my husband and I really couldn't cuddle anymore. I called them a month ago and talked to somebody about it and they said, "Oh, we know exactly how to fix it." They basically sent me a sliver of a mattress and it fixed the bar problem but I can't use it. It's making me sweat too much, and I'm waking up soaking wet. Overall, the people have been great and I certainly appreciate that. I just wish I was a little happier with the product.

The sales representatives were very professional and knowledgeable. They showed us different price ranges. The delivery team came when they said they were supposed to come, and they had the stuff set up. They showed me how to get on to the Sleep Number app and they set that up for me because I'm not knowledgeable about setting stuff up on my phone. They did a great job. The overall quality of the bed is really good and my wife says she's sleeping better with it. There's less snoring because we can tilt it. And she likes the vibration because she's got bad knees. It was pretty cool that they set up all my lamps to turn on from the remotes. So, I'd definitely recommend them.

We are disabled seniors. Our delivery was rescheduled without notifying us. As we sold our old bed we are forced to sleep on an air mattress. We have called the store and 800 #. No one is helping us expedite our delivery.

We went into the Sleep Number store in Maplewood MN to purchase our bed. The salesperson was brand new and had lots of difficulty entering the order. We spent 2 hours waiting for the order to be completed, he was a nice guy but needed training. We waited three weeks for the bed to be delivered and on the delivery day it went from a bad experience to the worst. We were scheduled 8-12 and the driver was running late due to being over booked. I have 2 driveways at my home and when they first arrived they parked in the lower driveway. When they started to open the truck they decided to move to the upper driveway to get closer to the house. They backed into the street to turn around and hit the public utility building across the street from the home.
When they came into the house they broke the closet on my storm door and when they were carrying in the new bed frame they hit my bedroom door and put a hole in the door. We ordered the base for the bed and the delivery driver tried to talk me out of the base and when I didn't change the order I had to hear him complain about putting it together. He told me the base is a waste of my money. The bed has worked well until last night when it wouldn't move with the remote and said it was a communication problem.
We called the store and was told that the area manager would be calling us back and we never heard back from anyone. We have had our city works and the police department at our house about the damage to the public works building that Sleep Number never reported it. We spent over $8000 on our dream bed and it has turned into a nightmare!

We purchased a Sleep Number bed in the early ‘90s and needed to replace it. We got just the mattress this time, which is more padded and plusher than the other one we had. The sales guy didn’t pressure us into a more expensive model. I told him what we needed and that’s what we got. The delivery guys were so fast. They took the old bed out, brought the new one in, propped it up, put it together, and off they went. I have fibromyalgia and the Sleep Number bed is perfect. I sleep very well with it. I recommend them to everybody.

My previous bed was so uncomfortable. I moved so much that I physically couldn’t sleep because every two seconds I was moving from body aches. We’ve tried all types of beds many times before, and none of them seemed to last that long. So we decided to try the Sleep Number bed to give it a shot. The sales rep was very helpful and gave us a lot of information. I was impressed when it was at the showroom and she demonstrated it. I lied down and I really didn’t want to because I was not comfortable. But the minute she showed me how it adjusted and asked when I started to feel better, I didn’t think any bed could do this. I was sold the minute I saw it in the showroom.
Sleep Number delivered the mattress and put it up which was relatively easy. It took me 20 minutes so I had no trouble with it at all. I’ve never in my life slept on anything that I didn’t have to move all night long. When I lied down on it, it was like I turned into a mummy. I wasn’t uncomfortable at all. I couldn’t feel any pain or discomfort in any part of my body. Now when I use it, I never have to turn over. When I wake up in the morning, I’m still in the same spot so I love it. I’m 100% happy with it. My wife sometimes thinks that it might be a little stiff, and I keep telling her to make adjustments to it. She just has to find what number fits the best. I played with mine for several days until I found a number that was perfect.

I had read about various mattresses and I decided that the Sleep Number would be the most appropriate choice for me. I'm old, stiff, and I thought adjustable bed is the way to go. I purchased sheets and whatever I needed to go with it, and I also bought the sensor pads underneath that give feedback, but I've never looked at it. I know if I'm sleeping well or not. The sales rep was good. I went in the store already having researched and knew pretty much what I wanted to get, but I wasn't aware that they had so many options when it comes to thickness or density, and how it's made of different pads. But the delivery went perfectly well. However, I have a disappointment in the bed. I had an existing metal bed with a foot board, and I was used to my old mattress that came up quite high. This one appears to be very deep and it's an adjustment. It didn't look proportional to the bed anymore.

We had a daughter who got a Sleep Number and since I was having a lot of headaches and neck pains, it was time to get a new mattress. When we first went to their store and looked, they said they were new but the sales professionals were great and very knowledgeable. When we went back, the guy who we talked to was off, but the people who helped us were really good. The delivery team was also great and they were efficient.
However, when the mattress was delivered it had a strong chemical smell that I didn't sleep on it the first night. I was not prepared for that. Our daughter told us that happened to her and I was upset because she hadn't warned or told me, but it did go away after a while for her. I had a HEPA filter on and opened the windows, and read online different things that I could do. The smell lasted for less than a week. I've never bought a mattress that had an odor. Other than that, my husband and I are happy with the mattress, and we now sleep more comfortably. Our pillow topper which regulates heat and coolness has also helped us with that.

I recently purchased a Sleep Number bed and I was extremely excited about it. That being said, the bed itself is great. No problems with that. My issue is with unorganized way that they work. I thought that for the amount of money I spent on this thing, that I would receive topnotch service. My delivery time was rescheduled 3 times. Once because they told me they couldn't come until after 10 pm on a weeknight. Which is insane. Then the next time they were gonna deliver their delivery truck broke down. I couldn't believe that spending almost 9 thousand dollars on something that it would be handled this way. Then when they finally did deliver it they were missing the hardware for the silhouette that goes around it. Something I had purchased because I have small children and I didn't want them getting under the bed.
Almost a month later and the silhouette is still sitting in my closet. They have been out twice to come and install it and both times have not had the right hardware. Mind you, it has been ordered and sent to my house twice and it's still wrong. So now I'm waiting on another phone call which I'm assuming will result in another appointment in which they will attempt to put this thing on. It's a bit ridiculous at this point. If I had known what I was gonna have to deal with I would've never bought the bed. I will NOT be recommending it to anyone after this experience. Absolutely the worst experience.

We needed new mattress and shopped around. Our neighbors had a Sleep Number and they spoke highly of it. We went and looked and decided on it. The manager in the store we bought it from was wonderful but the salesman who wound up selling it to us was dreadful.

Our old bed fell apart in the middle of the night. My wife did the sleep test on a Sleep Number bed, and also, we had been thinking about buying one, so we got the $3,000 king bed. We got the base, cover, cases and the sheets. The sales guy was really nice. He didn’t pressure us into buying them. Our bed was home-delivered, and the delivery guys were great. I heard a lot of great things about Sleep Number, and my husband and I needed a new mattress. The delivery guys were great. They came, set the bed up, and it was easy. It's a great bed. My husband gets comfortable too. He weighs a hundred pounds more than I do, and he sets it at 35 then scoots over towards the middle. When we rise in the morning, it's the best sleep ever.

We already had one Sleep Number and we bought a second mattress for our guest bedroom. The first one was bought at the store in the mall about seven years ago while the second one was online. We had it shipped to us and it's so easy to set it up. It's one of the things we really like about them. We had a water bed for 25 years and it was too much work setting up and moving it. The Sleep Number is like a water bed without all the hassle. But we can't move our furniture and we're stuck. My husband would even say, "Is this where you want it? Because that's where it's staying."
We love our Sleep Number beds and in fact, we talk about if we ever got a camper we have to make sure that a Sleep Number mattress is sitting there or we weren't leaving. I know there are hotels that actually have them and that makes all the world of difference to us because my husband's got a ruptured disc. He could adjust it to his back hip. We're very definitely very satisfied and I'm sure I've sold a few over the years. Every time somebody comes to the house, they sleep in there like, "Oh my God." It's a great thing. However, I need to figure out how to get the computer readout program for the first one because I can't see the numbers anymore on the little monitor and I don't know exactly some of the little lights that are burned out.

My wife and I purchased my mentally disabled son a Sleep Number bed back in 2008. I know "change beds every 8 years" but we have a total of 3 mentally handicapped kids. Yes 3. Anyway, my son's bed began to lose air on one side of his mattress and will totally deflate in less than 1 day. I called the customer service line. She asked me to start doing all these checks on the bed. Now normally I would not mind doing some simple requests but I just had a c5-7 fusion done on my neck and I really do not have the mobility to do the things she wanted me to do. I asked if she could send someone out to look at it. She kept telling me to do it. I then explained to her again that I was not in the shape to do the things she was asking for. She was very rude and loudly exclaimed, "Well it is going to be $180 to send someone out there."
Now we have had one other time where there was a problem with his bed. They had a hard time sending someone out and it was actually a preacher from another city who came out. I guess he had been trained on how to do things. No service center in a major city like Tampa. I should have just replaced the bed then. Now second problem in two years. I don't mind paying something if something is our fault or we are buying something new but we spend a lot of money of this bed. A lot! You can look at the original receipt and see. It is under Jordan **. It put a really bad taste in my mouth about the lack of customer service in this case. I wish you would review your policies. Very disappointed.

My wife was having back problems so we tried a Sleep Number bed to see if it would help. We got the bed where the head and foot raises. Also, we got the frame, sheets, pillows, and pillowcases. It was good with the sales rep. Their crew delivered our bed, set it up, and made sure everything worked. The bed we got has very good quality. It has really helped my wife's back a lot. But I have to get used to it. It's a little short for me. I'm 6'4" and we should have gotten the California King instead of the Regular King. When my wife raises the top, my feet hang up. I've recommended Sleep Number to my neighbors and three of them already bought one.

My wife wanted another Sleep Number bed so we purchased a new one. We bought the entire works for a double. We bought a mattress, a mattress liner, and a pad for the Queen size that we sleep on. We got about $500-$600 off on the two beds combined. Everybody also knew what they were doing and my wife was really happy as she could be when she came home. We set up the bed all by ourselves and it's really good.

Ordered my bed in November, got half of it in December, the rest of it in March. Many many many calls to customer service and nothing helped. Never seen such a disorganized company in my life. I finally got some help when I disputed the charges to the finance company or else I truly believe I would still be waiting on my order. The only reason they are still in business is that they make a good bed. My advice is if you want a Sleep Number bed is do not pay for it up front. Finance it and when they mess it up and they will, dispute the charges and you will get your bed. I will say this again, it's a good bed. If were not for the disorganization within the company there would be one in every room of my house.

My wife and I bought from Sleep Number last year and returned it since my wife could not get comfortable on it. After going through another mattress, my wife wanted to go back to Sleep Number. The first bed was definitely very comfortable but just took some time getting used to. We now have the Sleep Number mattress with some linens, pillows, and a couple of other things. We got a model that's not as high-end as the i8 we had before. We also have a different topper than the previous one. My wife likes that the one we have is softer. I'm probably not as comfortable on it though. But overall satisfaction was pretty high for the bed, especially for its price. It was also good that they were willing to take back the previous bed and then continue through with us on the next purchase.

My wife was starting to have back issues and I've always had some back issues. I did a bit of research on the Sleep Number, and being able to adjust it firmer or softer as we need it every night was very appealing. Also, the top cover to the mattress that allows cool air to flow through really appealed to me. We bought the base, the mattress, and the top cover. I love it. It's a very wonderful bed, and it seems to be holding up. We had to reschedule the delivery once, and it has been pleasant. The delivery people were very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. They answered a lot of our questions and showed us a bunch of stuff. In fact, they even helped us out because we didn't have the frame taken down yet. They quickly allowed me to do that without making a fuss about it. That was nice, too.

We searched online for a lightweight mattress and found that Sleep Number had favorable reviews. We checked them out and I was pleased with my talks with their sales rep. I was looking for a sale price and their rep said they rarely go on sale. But then she checked on the computer and found out they just went on sale that day, so we got the sale price on the C2. It has fine quality.
One big difference is my wife snores a lot less, which surprised me. Back then, I'd wake up in the night and I'd have to poke her to get her to turn and stop snoring. She must be laying differently on there than she did before. I thought it was a fluke at first but that's the way it's been since we got the bed and I'm pleased about that. I've gotten a better night’s sleep, too. I've had less of waking up and not being able to get back to sleep. I also like that each side is separately adjustable. Back then, my wife sometimes brushes on my side of the mattress and I keep bouncing around, but not anymore. It's nice that it has individual settings, so we can do our own thing. And so if I had to get another bed, I'd get another Sleep Number.

Been on the phone three times to troubleshoot my i10. I told the service rep that the problem was not/not with the firmness control. It was with the flex-fit adjustable base control; the head and feet do not elevate. They sent me a firmness controller; the exact thing I didn't need. I called back, again, go through the same troubleshooting, again, and the service rep said, "Yep, it sounds like the flex-fit adjustable base controller, we'll send some techs out to fix it". I said ok, but my wife's side of the bed is still elevated. I was told there is an emergency "lay flat" button on the side of the frame on a box about the size of a cell phone in case you lose power. That button, nor a box about the size of a cell phone does not exist on either side of the bed frame. But apparently that's a minor oversight since there are a number of issues.
A week later the techs show up, do the EXACT SAME TROUBLESHOOTING that I already completed and determined that, yep it's the adjustable base controller that needs replaced. I say, ok, replace it, they say we'll call customer service and get that ordered. WHAT?! The service Rep, Sherry, told me that the techs would be able to fix it when they arrived. The techs told me that they don't have any spare parts, they're just here to determine what the problem is, then order it and we'll make another service call to fix it.
I'll tell you what the problem is; I have a $10,000 bed that does not work as advertised. You have phone center service reps that are unable to diagnose problems. You have phone center service reps that apparently know nothing about how a tech visit is conducted since I as told, I WAS TOLD the techs would be able to fix the problem. One of the techs mishandled the remote for my wife's side of the bed and now it does not work at all. I have already taken a day off work to meet the techs, now apparently I will be taking another day off. And one final issue, the techs were in my house conducting the troubleshooting and speaking with each other in Spanish. I have no problem with folks speaking Spanish, but when you're in my house, in my bedroom on a tech visit you better be conducting that troubleshooting in English.

We got the base and a heated mattress pad from Sleep Number. The reps were good. We had got in previously and talked to one girl, and she'd done us going through the whole spiel. Then we found our Sleep Numbers, went back, and she wasn't there. Somebody else sold us the bed. The delivery was excellent, and the whole experience was pleasant and easy.

We tried different mattresses and wound up throwing brand new mattresses out because they killed us to lay on them. We had a Sleep Number mattress several years back and it's helped my wife's back and mine a lot. I don't think I can get a better bed anywhere. It was the only bed that we don't wake up hurting. It helped us sleep, and it worked so good that I've got the whole thing the second time, which hasn't been a year ago.
My wife and I went from a king to a queen because the children are big now and they're not jumping in bed with us. Our new bed is very comfortable, and we both enjoy it thoroughly. It was just a good experience all around, from buying to the delivery. The sales reps did an excellent job and were so helpful. They didn't try to push anything on us, they let us choose what we wanted. Also, the delivery team came in, set up the mattress, were in and out of here, and did a perfect job. If this bed wears out and I live long enough, I’m going to get another Sleep Number bed. I like the quality, it's first-class. I’ll tell anybody about the bed, how good it is.

Due to my health problems, I can't sleep with anybody. So the wife and I sleep in separate bedrooms. She went out and bought a Sleep Number a few years ago and then she talked me into buying one for my bedroom earlier this year. The salesperson was pretty good but he didn’t tell me that I needed some type of brackets to hook the Sleep Number onto a headboard. I thought they would come with the bed, but they didn’t and he was supposed to tell me that I needed some and sell me some because I have to order them at the same time that I order the bed. But, the delivery team was in and out, and very efficient and nice.
I got a queen sized bed that raises up at the head and at the legs. I used its features when I first started, but I don’t use anymore as I just use it to sleep in. However, it’s not worth what I pay for. It doesn’t do anything for me and I don’t feel any better in the morning when I wake up than I did with my old bed. I could have bought a $600 mattress and gotten the same kind of sleep out of it. So for the money, I'm dissatisfied.

Our old mattress was horrible and we heard from friends that Sleep Number was a good mattress. We got the holiday special model king size bed with the adjustable platform. During the purchase, all went well. The salesperson was very informative and answered all of our questions. The delivery team seemed professional too and they installed everything in a relatively quick timeframe. They explained the procedures for how to use the bed and put it where we wanted it. It was a pretty good experience. We enjoy every night of sleep on the bed so far. The only thing that is the least bit annoying is that our sheets come off the bed easily at the corners because of the way that the mattress is secured to that platform and I can't tuck the sheets in around the bed as well. There's the hassle of having to tuck it in every once in a while.

The Sleep Number rep was really nice. She went out of her way and seemed like she was friendly, fun and helpful. She gave me a couple of tips, and one that saved me $600. She told me I could get a prescription letter from my doctor and that would save me the tax and I ended up saving a good amount of money. I love my bed and I'm impressed with it. I didn't think the base model was very comfortable but the one that I ended up getting, which was one of the top-of-the-line ones, was unbelievably comfortable and luxurious. People come over and they say this bed is amazing.

We bought some sheets and a king-size bed at Sleep Number. But sometimes, we have a problem with the bed connecting with the remote. Usually we just have to plug in the cord ‘cause it comes loose from the box. Their sales reps have been friendly, nice and very helpful. The delivery guys were able to accommodate our needs and they had to put up with the fact that we had to change rooms twice since it didn’t fit in the bedroom. Overall, I got what I wanted.

I've been liking my Sleep Number, so far. I have some back problems, and a friend of mine recommended that I try it out, so I did. I got a couple of pillows along with the basic bed, and I've had it for about seven months. The sales reps were good and professional. I wasn't home when it was delivered, but I talked to my wife and she said they showed up in the window time they told us. They knew what they were doing, and it was smooth. They came in, unloaded the Sleep Number, set it up, and explained to my wife all the details about it. I like it so I'm planning on buying the individual bed for my kids. We're very satisfied with it.

We got the king size mattress with the sheets and pillows from Sleep Number. Their sales rep was very informative and very friendly. We scheduled for home delivery and the team who came was really friendly. The key man took the old mattress out and set it off for us and it was in no time at all. Then they helped me set up the account on the computer for the IQ. I really like the quality of the bed and it has helped with my bad back. I just wish the sheets weren't quite so much. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Sleep Number and I told my son to get one as well.

I ordered a Split King i8 mattress with level 3 adjustable frame from the Dubuque, Iowa store. We were in the store over an hour completing the purchase and going over the contract. The saleswoman repeated over 10 times that I could not return the frame once purchased. Because I'm a medical professional, I received a substantial discount off the bed. I was happy with the purchase price even though it was VERY expensive. We waited two weeks to get the bed.
Today the men arrived to put the bed together and when they came into our bedroom they wanted to know where the base was. I told them we ordered an adjustable base. They did not have that. I called the Dubuque store and talked to the sales person. She checked and proceeded to give us the runaround. We then spoke to the manager who was very rude and said it is what it is and there is nothing they could do to help us. I was furious! I asked him to give us a complete refund as we weren't taking the bed and he said I would have to call corporate to do so. UNBELIEVABLE!! I then called corporate and was on hold for another 30 minutes. It took 3 phone calls before finally getting a human on the other line. BUYER BEWARE!! Customer service is not what it use to be!

It is what it is and if I would've known my sleep was going to be the same, then I wouldn't have spent the $5000 on it. It's not even done anything great for me.

I've been using Sleep Number since before they had stores. They would mail it to you in pieces. Previously I had King size and now I purchased a Queen size. I had a good experience in the store. I knew, basically, what I wanted so I went in and the sales rep was very helpful explaining all the differences and the different tops and beds. I lay down on a couple and I made my decision, they made it very easy for me. The delivery team was excellent. They put the whole thing together quickly. They were friendly, fun and did a good job. I'm very happy with my purchase. The whole process was easy. I love Sleep Number and I'm sure I will always have a Sleep Number bed. They are the best.

I purchased a queen Sleep Number with the snore feature. I also got the cooling mat with the bed frame. Their salespeople were awesome and they went through us on what our Sleep Number would be and let us try different beds that we wanted. They delivered the bed early, set everything up for me and showed us how to work it. In terms of the bed's quality, I'd give it 90%, but only 10% off because the snore feature doesn’t work for my husband. Other than that, it’s been really great for my back because I have a lot of back problems. Now, I get more rest and I’m not aching as much. I'm also not as tired when I get up.

HATED to even give them One Star because ZERO is what they deserve. I returned a pillow to the store that I brought the pillow about two weeks after purchase as I did not like the pillow. It was never used and still in the original packaging. As the sale was made in cash, the store said that they would have to get a check send to me as they did not do cash refunds. That was fine but the check never came. I found my receipt and noticed that the home address was incorrect. So I contacted the company via chat, they found the receipt but said that Chat person could not issue refund check and that I needed to call customer service. Now after waiting on phone for about ONE HOUR, the customer service rep says that I cannot get a refund unless I mail the pillow back to the company. Which of course I cannot do as I returned to the store that I brought it from months ago.
Now I am waiting on hold again for who knows how long to talk to a supervisor and maybe then I can get a refund of $38. For a company that sells REALLY expensive beds, they are also really cheap and very customer unfriendly. Never brought one of the beds as the HIGH PRESSURE sales for the beds are annoying. NOW I am sure that one of their beds would be a TOTAL waste of my money especially if this is how they take care of business.

My back was hurting, and we decided to buy from Sleep Number. We got a king sized mattress and the frame. We visited the Hanes Mall store. We were helped by both an associate and also the store manager. We took advantage of the 18-month financing. They made the process very easy. They were very professional and weren’t pushy. I told the manager that I didn’t like the sample bed then at the entrance from the mall to the store because I really didn’t want to lie down on that bed right there in front of everyone that comes up walking by. That was not his call, though. It's more of a corporate kind of thing. The delivery guys were very pleasant and professional. I couldn’t have been happier.
Our bed's quality is fantastic. I haven’t had one problem with it. In fact, it helped with my back problems and my wife's, too. I readjusted it several times to find my best Sleep Number and all that. My wife loves it. She goes to bed before I do and I can come in with the split mattress. I’m lowering it all night and it doesn’t bother her. Our experience with Sleep Number has been very good.

Sleep Number is great. My boss has one and he swore by it. We bought a bed and just the normal base. We also purchased a sheet set. The sales professionals at Sleep Number was good. I think the guy was really genuine and the other employees that were in there were really nice. We have it scheduled for home delivery and they were fabulous. Their crew was very kind and professional. They took their time. They explained it. I know the one guy there was in training and, so, he was doing a great job. It was enjoyable, we had a quick chat and we had to go and I handed over some water bottles on my way out the door. I would buy Sleep Number again.

My husband and I both have issues with our backs, which prompted us to buy a Sleep Number bed, plus we had a friend who recommended this brand of bed to us. My wife’s been talking about Sleep Number a long time so I bought one years ago. There was a home and garden show in Cleveland and they had a display with all the different beds on and it was very nice. We got the bed and wraps. As soon as my wife heard the compressor blowing air in, she said, “No, it goes back,” but now they're quiet, so it's nice. However, I don’t like the fact that the king bed has such a gap at the top where it splits. It's the Grand Canyon and so I can't even get over to my wife and she can't get over to me. I'm also not really all that pleased with the feel of the sheets because it's a little bit too slippery for me. Nevertheless, I would recommend them.

With Sleep Number, we could set different sides for my husband and myself. Their sales reps were very nice and very professional, and the delivery team was also very good. I like the bed but it didn’t solve all my many problems or my husband’s. The edges are still higher than the middle on my side because mine’s a little softer than his side.

We were looking for a new bed, so we went to a Sleep Number store and the sales rep let us sit on the bed, gave us the remotes. He also went to help someone else. The people there were very busy. We drove a long way because that’s the only store, so it wasn’t the best experience. Also, we didn’t even know it was going to be home delivery until after we had purchased it. They didn’t even tell us. Other than that, we love the bed and we recommend it.

We have a king bed, two twins. On my side, it doesn't adjust the air. I have to run on 100 to get it even firm enough to sleep on. I contacted the local store and they said they couldn’t do anything so they quickly referred me to the company. I called the customer service once and they told me to either go through the process of turning it off and up three times and back all three times. I could tell very little difference in it so I got disgusted and gave up on it. I didn’t call back after I'd done what I was told to do. But last night I reset it again and had to go all the way up to 100 and it’s still not firm. When we bought the bed down at Gainesville, we tried the bed down there and they felt completely different. I spent $1,000 that I figure I blew. I could have got a bed anywhere else for a lot less. I’m not happy with the bed and I wouldn’t buy another one.

My mom has a Sleep Number. And when I was over there taking care of them, I would lie on their bed while waiting on one of them to come out from the bathroom. And then I said, "I gotta have one of these." My bed was 12 years old and it was hurting my back. So, I told my husband to get Sleep Number. And then I also like the fact that I could raise up my side with Sleep Number.
We went to the store of Sleep Number to inquire about them. The first sales person we talked to told us all these things and what it would cost. They were also having a big sale. My husband was not with me at the time, so I said I'll come back and bring my husband. That guy wasn't there when we went back. So, it was another girl which I'm so glad that I got her instead of him again, because all the information he gave me was not correct. I liked her information better and she was really nice and helpful. The second guy I dealt with when I had to call to find out why our sheets had not been delivered yet was nice, too. Everybody was real good and knowledgeable, except for the first guy.
So far, I'm enjoying our Sleep Number. My husband doesn't raise his part up. Now, I raised it up and it works. He snores so bad, and I push the button and he went up eight inches at the most and he got to get quieter. But he's not changed his setting. They set his on 50, and he kept it on. He said he's comfortable the way it is and he doesn't need to change a thing. I change mine to get to sleep, cause I notice when I'm on my side, my ribs will start hurting. But I went from 35 to 30, and then it quit hurting and that was comfortable. I have told everybody that I know I liked Sleep Number. My daughter got on it one time and she said she wants one, too.

We've had Sleep Number products in our home for about 12 to 15 years. The Sleep Number bed that we purchased recently was a replacement for a previous Sleep Number bed that we had. This time, we got just the mattress topper. The sales reps were very informative and helpful. But we already knew what we wanted when we walked in the door of the store because we already had a Sleep Number bed before. We pretty much got the same thing that we had previously, and just went from a California queen to a plain king. The reps said we didn't have the option to schedule the shipping and had to do home delivery. But it was good with the delivery team. The Sleep Number bed that was delivered to us has a very good quality. Both our old and new Sleep Number beds are comfortable. The only thing is, we would have liked to have gotten a second remote, instead of just one.

We tried a couple of traditional beds and it was not working for both of us. One of us liked one and the other liked the other. We then decided to buy a Sleep Number bed with the SleepIQ built in. The sales reps were helpful, answered all of my questions, shared information with me that I wouldn’t know as a consumer. After we made the decision to do it, I did the purchase with a local store over the phone so I didn’t have to drive back up. The delivery guys were fantastic. They showed up on-time. They did a neat job installing it and a really good job in setting everything up and teaching me how to use it. The delivery was perfect. Our bed is working perfectly for us.

I was frustrated over all of the mattress manufacturers, and I had a difficulty in comparing mattresses and an inability to understand what it was I was looking at and whether I was spending a lot of money for junk or very little money in getting something decent. I finally gave up out of frustration and felt like I, at least, had a better idea of what I was buying from Sleep Number than I did with the other mattress companies. The people at Sleep Number demonstrated the mattress and led me through the process of how they worked. We laid on the beds, pumped them up and let the air out. It was very straightforward.
The delivery guys did a great job in setting the bed up and explained how everything worked on it. They took everything they needed to take with them, so it was good. The only thing I didn't like about the process was that when I walked out of the room for a minute and came back, half of it was done and I didn't know what they did. Generally, when I set something up myself, I know how to do it again. And if I move, which I'm not planning on doing anytime soon, I'm going to have to go through it and figure out how it's put together.

My husband and I just bought the ile model and love it! There is a large weight difference between us and have finally found a bed that we are both comfortable in!!! We were a little disappointed in having to wait over two weeks for delivery and set up and we did notice a very unusual chemical smell from the mattress which seemed to disappear after a few days. Overall very happy with this purchase and will continue to spread the word.

My friend purchased a bed about a week ago. She is having issues with the mattress as far as it leaving a divot on one side of the bed. She called the service department to schedule someone to repair and they told her she would have to fix it with telling what to do. She demanded a service person come to her house to repair. They're telling her that will require a service fee! Unbelievable! I would demand them to come get it out of my house!

My mother bought a Select Comfort bed several years ago. She recently moved in with our family. Professional movers moved the bed. When the bed arrived there was a E0 code on the remote. We called the 888-580-9237 number and asked for technical assistance. Wait time of 34 minutes 9/27/2016 at 3:20 pm. Jonathan was impatient with my mother. I took the phone, he asked me to unplug the unit, wait 60 seconds, plug it back in, make sure the outlet was live etc. He said since we didn't hear clicking that it would need to be replaced.
I asked if there was something we troubleshoot with the remote he said no that we would need a new unit. I asked about the 25 year warranty - well it is a 25 year sliding scale warranty so we were charged over $380 for the unit, put it on my credit card. In the interim I spoke to one of my children and they suggested I go to a search engine and type in the bed model and the code on the remote. There was an excellent instruction piece that showed re-synchronizing The remote. In case Jonathan needs to know how to troubleshoot the problem, here are the instructions:
Make sure the system is plugged in. If it is plugged into an outlet controlled by a switch, or is plugged into a surge protector, make sure those devices are powered on. Be sure that the plug is in a working outlet. When you are sure that the system has power, unplug the power cord and plug it in again.Press any button on the remote control. This should power it on and it should work properly again. If the problem is not fixed, unplug it then plug it back in again. Press any button to power the remote control on. Press the up and down buttons at the same time. This will start a timer, it will count backwards from "10" to "1." Two dashed lines will then appear followed by the code "C1." After you see "C1" let go of both buttons. Press both buttons at the same time again and you will see code "1C." Let go of the buttons one last time and your settings should be back to normal and the controller should work properly.
IT WORKED, the bed was completely functional. By now it was approximately 4:45 pm. I called back at 5:30 pm, waited on hold over 33 minutes, spoke with Ciara. Requested a cancellation of the order and a refund. She told me it would take 7-10 days for my credit card to be charged back. I told her that was not acceptable 1-5 days was customary. She told me to hold for a supervisor. I was on hold 1 hour and 47 minutes and then was cut off.
While I was on hold I called Chase Mastercard with another phone, told them the situation. They said they saw the charge and that as soon as it posted they would handle the dispute so that I would not have to deal with this any more and waste any more time. I am trying to understand how a company who charges several thousand for their product thinks that customers who pay that much will wait online for well over an hour. In any case I would NEVER buy anything from this company and will send a copy of this to our circle of influence as well as post in each of our medical office buildings.

My boyfriend and I had different tastes in mattresses, and Sleep Number was the only option where we could both get what we want. I ordered it over the phone, and I love it. I got financed over the phone, and they made it super easy. The delivery team was very flexible because I lived in an apartment complex when they originally delivered it. It was dated and hard to find, but they didn't get frustrated. They were really quick and professional, and I liked it. However, I wish that the mattress cover was a little easier to clean. That's one of the few complaints I have about it because I know I'm not supposed to put it in the washing machine, and I'm just supposed to spot clean it. I have dogs and they get in the bed, so I've got dog hair and dirt on it. Apart from that, I love everything else.

I bought a Sleep Number before but I moved down to Puerto Rico 10 years ago. My daughter had it up there at her house so every time I go up to her house, I would get to sleep in my bed. I bought a new bed down in Puerto Rico but it was a regular bed and kind of firm. I wasn't getting a good night's sleep on it because my feet were going to sleep on me and hurting in the night and I'd get up and have to wake my feet up when I got to. But when I was at my daughter's house, I felt great. I just got up and walked away.
She wanted to send my Sleep Number down but we checked around and found out it would be $600 to $800 to ship it and it's a 20-year old bed. So even though it's under a warranty, if it's that long, it's probably reaching its life. So I decided to buy a new one when I found out they'd ship it to me. I also got the plastic base with it. The sales rep was very helpful and the bed came in within four or five days via UPS. The delivery guy was real good too. I brought the bed in the house and set it up.
However, I don't particularly like the plastic platform for the bed. I bought the cheaper one at $300 and it looks like a plastic rectangle on the floor. It was a little tricky to put together and it's not worth $300. I wouldn't recommend buying that one and I wouldn't buy that again. My old Sleep Number came with a regular frame and it was a really nice bed frame. It had a lot of nice support throughout it and lasted me well, it's still lasting 20 years. And I'm sure this plastic one would do but it's not like a regular bed. It's more of a platform which was too big to put in the queen size bed that I bought. So I recently bought one that had wooden slats across the inside and I put it up on a little higher bed because the plastic platform doesn't suit well. But I'm going to use it again since I need some sort of a bed for guests to stay in and that's an easy one to move around so that's not bad.

I was trying to find a firmer bed, and somebody said that I could adjust the Sleep Number so I went to see it. The rep was really helpful. We bought the mattress, some sheets, and a padding. I think the bed could be firmer. It’s on the maximum so I didn’t think there was anything else that could be done. But overall, our experience was okay.

We have been big fans of our Sleep Number bed for almost 9 years. However, about 3 weeks ago, my husband's side began losing air repeatedly throughout the night. Sleep Number can't find our info and my husband hasn't had a good night's sleep in weeks.

The delivery people did not bring the correct bedding, had to use some of my parts from my old Sleep Number bed, did not have a power screwdriver with a charged battery to use it so I had to loan mine for them to get through to finish the installation. They promised to phone me to furnish the correct parts and no one has contacted me yet. We had this same type of problem 13 years ago when we bought our 1st bed. What is going on with your company's delivery and customer relations. You should be ashamed!!! We did not even receive a hard copy of the delivery!

Customer service wait times close to half an hour. Tried to call regarding a question about an order I placed. I was on hold for 20 minutes... Same thing happened two days in a row. While I was on hold I tried to initiate an online chat. That never came through either. Guess they are just too busy to help their customers. The product is good, which is why I gave it another star, but listening to someone saying my call is important to them, over and over, is not so good. This is an expensive bed and deserves better customer service!

My side hasn't been below 100 and I love it. I actually sleep through most night. Used to have great trouble getting to and staying asleep. Now I sleep through most nights and can get right back to sleep if I wake up. I have bad back problems (stenosis, scoliosis, osteoarthritis, bone spurs, etc), which are treated by burning off nerve endings in my back every 6 or so months. It's been 5 months now and I am still waking up without lower back pain. I am thrilled! It used to hurt through the night and getting up in the morning really killed me. I love my sleep number (100!) and tell everyone!

On 8/29/2016 I went to my local store and ordered a i8 and FlexFit 2 base. At that time I made arrangements for the bed to be delivered on 9/14/16. On 9/14 received call at noon saying the mattress was not delivered and would not be able to deliver on that date. OK disappointed but things happen it's not a perfect world. Was told the bed would be delivered on 9/27/16. Received call on 9/25/16 to expect order and delivery team would be here between 1 pm to 5 pm. Took 9/27 off as directed. On 9/27 received call at 10:30 am again saying bed was not delivered and team would not be coming.
Call delivery number and customer service. Both apologize for the breakdown but still can't get any assurance that I will get my bed on 10/10. It's been a month and still no bed. Now receiving bills for monthly installment payment for bed I don't even possess. Told the customer service associate that I'm considering cancelling my order if the bed is not delivered on 10/10. Appreciate the apologies but would be happier if I could get a commitment of a bed being delivered.

The sleep number bed is a failure. The company offers comfort, better sleep quality, but they do not deliver. I bought the Sleep Number Innovation bed, I pay about $5,000 dollars and up to this day is a continuing nightmare. From the first day I could not sleep, I got pain in the legs, hips and shoulders, every day I woke in a bad mood and headache. For a period of three days completely lost the mobility in my body I thought I was going to be paralyzed for the rest of my life due to that bed. After that I went to the store and the employee told me that I need to see a doctor, to see what happen with my health conditions. I thought I am healthy, but I went to see to different doctors and they said my health is perfect.
I call customer service several times and they told me that I need a different texture pillow to improve my level of comfort. I bought about 5 to 8 of them but none of the pillows helped me to sleep better. I returned to call customer service and they told me I had to use the control remote to increase the area of the foot of the bed, for better comforts I did, but it did not work.
Again I call customer service, they told me they did not understand me, then I request to speak to Spanish speaker because it is my mother tongue. The Spanish speaker was busy at that moment, she called me but couldn’t get my phone and she hung up, I called again but when she answered, she hung up on me again, so I called back 3 more times to talk with the Spanish representative but it was never possible.
I decided to call again and I complained in English and the representative told me she is going to charge me for sending me a person to my house to check the problem of my bed. I told her I will not going to pay more money for that bed and very rudely she told me as that is what is stipulated in the company guide and again I refused to pay and she hung up on me. The customer service employees made me lose time on my trial session and when I told them I did not want my bed that I want my money back I were told it was no longer possible, because the return period had pass for 15 days.
Later my husband called to complain because the bed pump wasn’t working, the bed was deflating to on its own and would only perform a very short inflate, not enough to actually pump any air. They sent a new bed pump, but the pain problems went on and on. I kept calling for help, my husband told them that it appears that the mattress sags in the center, they decided to send extra padding and assured me sleep better and it was a lie, after lie, for a period of time they're sending me different filled in different ways without achieving my complete satisfaction.
They told me that it takes a while for my body to get used to the bed, and after a year of complaints and modifying the bed per your requests I still could never get used to it. When I told the customer service staff that I sleep better in other beds and I have no headache or no discomfort in my body, they kept saying that my body needs to adapt to (Sleep Number) bed, that it takes a few week to adjust and sleeping in another bed your body hasn’t adjusted and that’s why. **.
The company SLEEP NUMBER is lying to us when they sell their beds saying it is the best product, and you can sleep peacefully, that's a lie. They told my husband and me that when buying a bed with control remote it is going to help us to sleep better, since we could adjust to each comfort level. Again decided to consult different doctor. I did. Negative results. Perfect health, but unable to sleep. That's not a lie, just a poor bed. I decided to sleep for three weeks in an alternate mattress in my room. I slept without any problem.
Then return to the (Sleep number bed) on the second day again began to become acute pain all over my body, no matter the setting, I even tried to match the setting to the other mattress and it didn’t help any! Why lie to all the customers when selling a product that does not work and never will. I want back 50% of what we paid so I can buy another mattress that will allow me to sleep better!

My wife and I purchased the Sleep Number FlexTop King (FlexFit2) bed 9/11/2014. It arrived very quickly and two engineers set everything up for us. We selected this type of bed because my wife sometimes is ill and has neck, body, or general aches. Additionally, I had a hard time sleeping on our current bed that was a Tempur-Pedic. For me, the Tempur-Pedic was too soft, but it was perfect for her. So we figured that going with a Sleep Number would give us the best of both worlds. One major concern we had with the Sleep Number was the split towards the very top of the bed. We asked the question a few times about the gap and if it would widen more than what we seen in the store. We were assured it would not. After owning the bed for a year now, we completely hate it. The reason? That 'gap' is now 6", enough for an arm to fall down it. We have called customer service now x4 times and every time it ends with, it's not their fault and the product isn't defective.
So now we are stuck with this defective bed. One customer service agent suggested we buy a comfort layer to cover the crack... The bed is defective. We sat with a Sleep Number engineer on the phone and did their various tests and still nothing has been resolved. The biggest thing is we can't cuddle, intimacy becomes very difficult because of this big gap in the bed. We also paid extra for the SleepIQ which hasn't worked correctly reading my wife and sometimes myself since we got the bed. Also, the remotes are now freaking out, with random digits flashing across the remotes when attempting to adjust our Sleep Numbers (sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't). I don't understand why a company can charge this much for something and not stand behind their product. I've attached my invoice and also a picture of the defect. If we had a choice, we would return everything. This bed is a marriage killer at this rate.

We had tried a few other mattresses. In fact, we bought one a year before. Both are having back problems so we'd give Sleep Number a shot. We got sheets, a knee pillow type thing, and another pillow. The sales professionals were very friendly, helpful and answered all of our questions. Working with them was good. The delivery was fine, the team were pretty fast, got it done, explained everything and helped me set up the SleepIQ. I like the products. I wish we had gotten the adjustable base, and take that back. We had to get a two-inch foam deal to put on the top because it wasn't quite enough padding for us, and we're so used to having a lot of padding on the bed. But once we put that on here, the bed was fine.

I have back problems so I decided to purchase a Sleep Number bed and I've seen a little relief so far. The only thing is that my remote control is on the fritz, and it goes in and out, but overall, my experience hasn't been too bad.

I bought the mattress and the base from Sleep Number and the sales rep was very good. The delivery team delivered and installed it. Some days I like it a little firmer, some days I like it a little softer. It’s flexible so I can do what I want. I’m happy with it and I’d highly recommend it.

We love our Sleep Number bed. My sister had one for three years and she loved it, so we gave it a try. We also got the pillows, base, and the sheets. The salesperson was wonderful. She was very friendly, helpful, respected our opinions and definitely educated us. The delivery people were very good and knowledgeable. They came in a reasonable time in the timeline that they said, and everything worked out very well in coordinating that. My husband wasn’t really satisfied in the first 30 days and they added a gel top, which made a difference. The bed is working really well for both us, and we're having our own specific piece met.
The only thing is that I washed the sheets again two nights ago and noticed there's some fading. We don’t use bleach, and it looked like it was bleached the most in certain sections at this time and there's a little bit of fading in the fabric. I was surprised by that. I'm not sure why it's doing that because I washed them every four weeks. Other than that, everything is great.

My father-in-law has Sleep Number in all homes. We got a mattress and pillows. However, I haven’t been too happy with the tiny little mattress and we should have gotten a better or upgraded one. The bed is thin and I'm really used to a really big sort of plush pillow top. We got the basic one and it's fine as I sleep like a rock and I can be put anywhere, but my husband still has back trouble. The Sleep Number salespeople have been great and I love the lady who sold us the bed. She was amazing, very helpful, and she helped us find our pillows that we absolutely love. She made us lie on the bed we wanted in the store and we ended up purchasing it. Our purchase was delivered to the house and it was there when we got home. They have been great and I'd recommend them.

Service call is $179.00 that was not told us about the warranty. Told us sides might need to be replaced because of setting on it. Sorry 6 months old, I really do not want to replace these every 6 months, especially after warranty plays out. I will never recommend a Sleep Number bed to anyone. My voice will be on every social media I can post this.

This is because we intentionally manufacture our beds to be very easy to service so we can walk our owners through some quick troubleshooting and have any needed replacement parts at your door very quickly, often in less time than it would take for a tech to come and look into your concerns. I purchased a bed at the Fredericksburg, VA store. I was told to schedule delivery by calling the 800 number. I went home and found out the soonest date for delivery was 27 days from then. My payment in full by check was processed immediately, of course. I had back surgery scheduled in 20 days and never thought for a second that I would not have the bed by then. My surgery was 2 weeks ago and I am still having to sleep in a chair. Called customer service dept. to see if there wasn't some way I could get an earlier delivery date. Absolutely not!
My check was cashed. I was out $3,000 and no one could be bothered with me. Absolutely no one at their 800 number knows what is going on or how to manage a smooth bed delivery. One associate tells you one thing and 30 minutes later another tells you something completely different. In my 50 years of buying beds, NEVER have I dealt with such unhelpful, unknowledgeable and poorly trained employees. If you can deal with this kind of frustration, incompetence, and deceptive practices, then buy a Sleep Number bed. I wish I hadn't done so. Honestly, the biggest regret of my life.

I had different mattress requirements than my wife's and we bought the king size bed from Sleep Number that's adjustable on both sides. Both the heads and the feet come up together. We also got the pillows and the bedding. The sales reps were great and the delivery was perfect as well. The bed has helped me a little bit but not a ton. I'm also not thrilled about it because we got the split king and I'm not a fan of it. It's not necessarily the quality but I made a bad purchase because I don't like the fact that each side comes up. It almost feels like we're sleeping on just a twin bed and there's such a gap in the bed that my head either goes in it or I got to cover it because I don't feel like I can use more than my twin size of the bed. So if I had to do it all over again, I would not get that feature. I wouldn't not recommend them but I wouldn't buy it again.

1 year 2 months 22 days - and my Performance Series P6 Sleep Number Bed is sagging. The experience is terrifying; waking up in the middle of the night feeling like quick sand is swallowing me into the center of the bed. The bed designed to Contour to You certainly has contoured but into a convex surface which is certainly no longer provides the Clinically Proven results to relieve back pain and improve sleep quality. I'm currently sleeping on my couch which provides better back support and a more elegant sleeping experience.

We had Sleep Number products in the past. We recently got the limited bed that was on sale, as well as one set of bedding. The salespeople were really good, very knowledgeable and worked very well with us. We went in looking at the particular bed that was on the sale at that time, but they also talked about other ones while we were there. The delivery people were very quick and thorough. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the Sleep Number products we got. The bed has been very comfortable, and I can set it the way I like.

I decided to purchase Sleep Number because I needed to find a way for my husband to get a little sleep. I had researched about it online and then we went in to try it out. We bought the mattress, adjustable base, headboard, bedding and the frame built for it. Their sales representative has been great. She got everything that we needed down on paper and she made it pretty quick. My husband seemed to really like the idea of walking us through what we really wanted or needed for our purposes and he was pretty efficient at that. Then she got it all processed and we are out of there pretty quick. Delivery took a lot longer than we thought it would, but the delivery guys were great. They were funny and I have no problem with them. I think they had a couple of issues in the headboard, there was a couple of holes not drilled in. So a poor guy was crawling underneath the frame after they put it together to try to get that.
So far, we're very pleased with the bed and we've recommended it to a couple of other people. I can say there is a difference, my husband doesn't snore next to me quite as loud. I didn't notice how much I appreciated it until we went on vacation and I can't raise his head up. He was a lot closer to me in a Queen size bed than in a King size bed and he was snoring in my ears. My only gripe has been with processing of the payment. I made the payment and it was processed on that day. So I thought I had paid for the next month and got a late fee. That kind of ticked me off because I couldn't get that settled. I thought it wouldn't process until the next day but it processed on that day so I ended up with a late fee.

We had purchased a Queen-sized Sleep Number several years ago and really liked it. We wanted to purchase a bed where we can raise our head up. The sales reps at the store wondered if they could help, which was good. We didn't have to wander around and try to find somebody to help us. The delivery team was great. They were in and out in no time. It's great, overall, and we have no complaints.

Purchased bed on 9/10/16, delivery could not be made till 9/23/16 with delivery time 12-4 pm. Per instructions would receive a telephone call 24 hours prior to, and then another call before delivery. Did not receive any calls from Sleep Number. Called store Manager and she indicated it was scheduled, should be delivered, and all information in their system (phone number, address, etc.) was correct. No bed was delivered, and could not get through the 800 number to talk about this situation. Sat, 9/24/16, was finally able to get through the 800 number and talked to Kelly, who was very helpful. She talked to delivery and said an e-mail would have to be sent to the delivery service and delivery would call me back that day. Did receive a call back from delivery (they did leave a message because I missed the call), which indicated delivery service tried calling my number, no answer, so no delivery.
Delivery was rescheduling for Fri 9/30/16. Called the 800 number again, waited, got Kelly again, who forward to Vicky in Delivery and got the standard verbiage there was nothing to be done, though she did offer to refund delivery fee. I thanked her for that and will accept (though loss of time cost me more), but all she could provide was typical verbiage. Went up the chain of supervisors, talked to Izzy, then I believe her name was **. She was helpful but again could not do anything about the extended delivery date. Though she notice the delivery sheet had the wrong phone number for me, it was a number I have never seen before and was not associated with me.
Her assumption was that was the problem, but when I have called Rachel **, the store manager in Plano where I bought the bed to confirm there was going to be a delivery (since I had not received any calls from Sleep Number) She confirmed from their system that they had the correct telephone number and address. So, again, one thing leads to another but as a customer/consumer I'm without a bed and will have to wait another 6-7 days. The wrong telephone number could have been the problem, don't know; day of delivery the correct phone number was confirmed through the purchasing store; could not get through the 800 number on the day of delivery, and this is the best that can be done for customer service???

After a long wait from the purchase date until the delivery date; this was missed by 5 days due to man power issues; then the wrong bed was delivered. However, everyone from the delivery personnel to the customer service team were very helpful and professional. My order has been corrected and I am sleeping on a great bed. I will say my interaction with the staff in the store was great. Once my wife and I made our purchase is when the troubles began. We ordered our bed 9/13/16. It was schedule to be deliver on 9/22/16 between 6pm and 8pm. I did received a call to confirm the delivery for 9/22/16 between the hours of 6pm and 10 pm. On 9/22/16 I receive a call from the delivery guy at 8pm saying they were on their way and will be there in 40-50 minutes. At 9pm and they didn't show up and no phone call from the delivery guy. I attempted to call to get an ETA, but I got their voice mail. Since customer service was closed I used the chat system and all I got for response was nothing we can do, keep calling the number to try to get a hold of the delivery guy and the rep disconnected the chat with no solution provide.
I followed his direction and I called the number 7 times and no answers. I was planning to call customer service to complain when I got a call saying the delivery was reschedule between 9am and 1 pm. I immediately called them back to let them know this was not acceptable since I was work and to change the delivery to after 5pm. I was told I will get a call back to confirm and guess what I did not get a call to confirm. I called the store where the purchase was done. The rep told me he will check with customer service about this. I told him I will expect a call from the manager and district manager. To my surprise there once again no call from either one. I called the store after work to resolve this and the poor lady took the brunt of my frustration. She could only refer me to customer service. After 4 go arounds with customer service it was finally escalated to try to get the delivery to be delivered at 5.
Well I shouldn't be surprise when I was told it couldn't be delivered today. We were so pissed with the lack of service. We cancelled our order. To be frankly honest, I get better customer service at WalMart. After reading all the reviews here I can see there is issue with their delivery system. It just shame that you at sleep number cannot see the problem and you have no willingness to fix it or take care of your customers. I will guarantee once I post this I will get apology from them like everyone else. It's a nice bed but save yourself the trouble, DO NOT USE their delivery option. At least with WalMart they actually take care of their customers and they actually deliver on time with no hassle. Sleep number you can learn a lot from WalMart. I will be going to the BBB rating you a Z because rating you an F is too much for you.

We heard a lot about the Sleep Number bed and wanted to give it a try. So we got the mattress, the base, and some sheets. The sales reps were all very nice, friendly, and helpful. We had the items that we purchased shipped to us. It was easy to set up and we're very pleased with the bed that we purchased. It's surely more comfortable than the bed we used before. Unfortunately, we lost our remote when we moved, so I had to buy a new one. But other than that, our experience has been good.

We tried the memory foam mattress and the coil mattress. However, we couldn't get comfortable on our own mattresses. Then, we looked and purchased the Sleep Number mattress online, and it's fairly easy. We enjoy our mattress. In fact, I did a couple of YouTube videos after I bought them. One video is the Sleep Number c2 unboxing and then the other one was a follow-up review after 60 days of sleeping on it. It's been viewed over 11,000 times.

I've been wanting to buy a Sleep Number bed for years. We then got a split king mattress and the base. The sales rep was helpful. The delivery people came in and they seemed to know what they were doing and got it done. I wasn't there but my girlfriend was, and as far as I know, everything went smoothly. We've been sleeping on the bed for some time. I haven't really used the computer part of it as far as monitoring it, but I've been happy with the bed, so far. Everything is working well for me.

The sales rep appreciated that we had researched Sleep Number, knew what we wanted, and just told him. He helped us with a couple of things and that was easy on him. The bed was delivered and set up, and it was excellent. I'm trying the flexibility of the independent movement of both sides of the bed. Because of some physical ailments, it's a little bit more comfortable.

I needed a new bed. I'd heard good things about Sleep Number so I tried it out in a store down in Bakersfield. The salesman was most helpful but just over a hundred days, the air pump went out and I couldn't adjust the bed on either side. I called the office and they sent the new pump. They wanted me to put it in and I was displeased with that. They eventually sent out a technician to install a new pump and it has worked fine since then. It's a good bed.

My husband has a back problem, had two hip replacements and a shoulder replacement. He was having difficulty with the mattress that we had previously so he asked the chiropractor and the doctors that he had been seeing, and they suggested that Sleep Number would probably be the best bet for him. I was very happy with my Tempur-Pedic, but he’s very comfortable with the Sleep Number. I don’t have the problems that he has so we compromised.

Sleep Number has a long history. When we got the pillow top type mattress, their sales rep was very professional, covered the information, answered questions well and helped us as far as getting the financing that we needed for it. The item was shipped to us. It was easy to set up and I like its quality. My wife and I have different likes as far as how hard our bed is and we like its variable factor. There are times when a bit firmer is nicer and also when a little softer is, and we're constantly adjusting it as we need to.

I purchased this adjustable bed and mattress, and was told I had a 100 night trial policy. What a lie. The 100 night trial policy only applies to the mattress and NOT the adjustable bed. Sleep Number will take back and give me a credit for the mattress but NOT the bed. What am I supposed to do with the adjustable bed. I want ALL my money back, not just for the mattress. The adjustable bed does not work despite numerous calls to Sleep Number. They are not helpful at all. I spent a lot of money for a terrible bed. Call the Customer Care number only if you have 30 minutes to wait on the phone until someone picks up.

My sister and my neighbor had Sleep Number beds, and they really liked them. I've had a lot of back problems, and I thought it might be a good investment, so I got one as well. The people at the store were nice and the people that came and put it up were terrific. They were friendly, worked quickly, gave the instructions, cleaned up their mess and left. I don't like the bed, though. It doesn't seem like what everybody was describing it to me. For one thing, I can't make the controls work like they're supposed to. I have such a hard time with them if I want to change the number on the bed and I can't even make the thing that moves the head up and down work anymore. I certainly wouldn't even recommend it to anybody else.

I wanted a comfortable bed. I had my first Sleep Number about 10 years ago, but I got rid of it because the compressor went out, and their guarantee was no good, so I got a different bed. When I bought a new one, I went by and looked at it and their guarantee was picked up, so I went with them. It's been great and not so great. I was going through the controls on it and it has got a place where it says my favorite setting. I set it in because I found that special spot, but then I couldn't get anything else. It just went whack. I couldn't go back to the pressure. I couldn't lower and raise it. I've been trying to reset it and I guess I'm going to have to call them because it doesn't want to reset or do anything.
The sales rep was great. The bed was delivered and set up, and the crew was real good. They didn't tell me a whole bunch about the controls, but their set up was fast and complete. My Sleep Number is of good quality. Other than my messing around with the controls, I haven't had any problems with it. It's holding up a lot better than the last one I had. At this point, I'd recommend it.

I had back issues and didn't want one bed that I had to just have one setting. We've tried other different beds and Sleep Number allows me to make changes to fit my need. The sales reps were very knowledgeable, nice, professional, and helped us figure out which bed we really wanted that would meet our needs. When they delivered the mattress, it was next to my garage door, and arrived when it was supposed to. I like the product a lot.

We've been looking for a new mattress, and I've heard a lot of good things about them. I liked the fact that I could raise up the head of the bed. And I always have felt that sleeping on some air rather than foam and springs was just better, so we went looking at a Sleep Number bed. We bought it at a home improvement type show in a weekend, and I've been very happy with our decision.
We got the mechanical base that will raise it up and down and vibrate. I haven't used that, and I've got to make sure it works. And then not too long ago, we went and bought a mattress pad cover because we were having trouble with getting a mattress pad to stay on while we were sleeping. The sales reps in the store were very pleasant and helpful. I told them what we were looking for, and they found it for us right off the bat. The delivery guys were also very pleasant and nice. They got rid of the old mattress and got it out of the house. They were very quick in setting up our new bed and getting everything situated, and picked up behind themselves. They were very clean. And when they left, everything was nice. I was impressed.

I WAS so excited for my Sleep Number bed. Yet it was short lived. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the service I am receiving regarding the delivery of my Sleep Number bed! After confirming my delivery (scheduled for yesterday) twice and adjusting my work schedule... My delivery was abruptly cancelled without my knowledge! When I called, I was told that the driver was injured and my delivery was to be rescheduled until next week. I informed Sleep Number that absolutely does not work for me because I am without a mattress for my bed that has already been delivered.
After numerous phone calls, they refuse to make any accommodations that work for me to rectify this situation. I am simply given the company jargon of apologies, we can't, and unfortunately. I've been offered a percentage off the cost, but again this doesn't help the fact that I don't have a bed! I requested that they add my delivery to the very beginning or very end of a route for yesterday or today. They refused, and said that Friday evening would be the earliest. Again, this isn't something that CAN'T be done, because I'm sure if Steve Harvey wanted to feature a Sleep Number on a live taping today they would make it happen (and for FREE I'm sure).
As a business owner I completely understand things happening beyond your control. However, I also understand when you are at fault or the cause for the wrong there is a responsibility to make it right if at all possible. This isn't something that is not possible. They are simply unwilling to make an effort to resolve a customer service issue. Before this post I have talked to four representatives/supervisors who all refuse to offer resolution, therefore there has been ample opportunity for them to correct the issue. They have failed.

I bought a Sleep Number mattress along with the base, the foam cover and a sheet set. The reps were very nice and the delivery people were great and very quick. Overall, the bed is nice, however, it isn't the greatest since sometimes it gives me back issues. There are certain days that it'll hurt. I had the soft mattress folded halfway over so that I was setting them more comfort. Either way, I was flinging the number down to 50 or in between and it still wasn't working so I added the mattress again. It was better but then my back started hurting again so I took it off. I did some tweaking with the whole bed and now, it's fine.

Our mattress was really old and our daughters wanted us to get a new mattress, so they got us a gift card from Sleep Number, because they knew of someone else with parents who had bought one and they really loved it. We bought the adjustable FlexFit 3 foundation and also got the mattress pad on the California King and then we bought two sets of pillow with medium contour edge, sheets, Duvet and a comforter. Their sales reps were fantastic. They were very busy, but really took the time with each person that was there. However, we didn't find out until a week before delivery that we weren't getting the headboard and the frame that goes around the bed.
Their delivery team were wonderful. However, when I found out we weren't getting the wrap-around of the bed, I was afraid of seeing all the exposed underneath. They said I can purchase a bed skirt anywhere, but they would put holes in it to screw it in. I was fine with that, because I didn't want everything to be seen underneath the bed but when they came and I told them about it, they didn't really seem to want to do it. They said they were all done and didn't put it on. So, there was some confusion there. But what's done is done and I still love the bed. Other than that, they were wonderful and cleaned up after themselves. It's been a great experience. I was disappointed that for the price, having spent over $10,000, we didn't get the headboard and the wrap-around. We just assumed that it came with it. My only complaint is the fact that I am having an issue and I cannot get through to them.
Overall, we absolutely love our Sleep Number bed but I noticed that my husband's side of the bed stays inflated to whatever number he put to that. My side of the bed will deflate, but when I pull up the number to 65, it will say 65, but if I hit the up arrow, it starts from 30. And then, it goes up and stops at 65. Nonetheless, we love it and my husband had a great night sleep.

My husband, Jeff, and I decided to buy a Sleep Number bed because we couldn't decide together on the firmness or softness of a mattress. We bought pillows, sheets, and a frame, the whole $10,000 she-bang. It was great with the sales representative and the delivery. Everything went well. I love the bed, although Jeff might not love it as much as I do. However, I was a little disappointed with some of the sheets that we bought. The first bedding we got was Stan Paper and expensive, but it felt flimsy, like I could tear it just putting the contour sheet on the bed. The other thing that I didn't take into consideration in purchasing the bed is, if we have to move the bed, for painting or when moving to another home, then we've got to hire somebody to break down the bed and put it back together. It's a bit cumbersome if we have to move it around.

My wife was in a major car accident and she had an air mattress when she was in the hospital, and so we decided to try the Sleep Number, so that she can adjust it for the pressure points on her body. Sleep Number was running a sale when I bought the bed. The sales rep guided me through which bed would be best for me. It's a very nice bed. My wife can adjust it up and down as she needs to because some nights she needs it firmer and some nights she needs it softer, which really helps. We're both very happy with the bed and we both enjoy it.

We had a Comfortaire prior and that one finally worn out, so we went to the Sleep Number store. The sales rep was very nice and knowledgeable. We really liked her. We came in right at the end of the day and she didn’t rush us. She took her time with us, so she did an amazing job. The delivery guys were very helpful. They programmed our phones and cleaned up their mess, which was a big deal.
However I don't like that what we have is a split king and the mattresses move apart, so we get a little divide between the two mattresses. It’s almost like two separate beds. Another thing that’s been a little annoying is we keep getting mailings with money off if we buy a bed, and we just bought one. I wish we could’ve gotten that money off before we bought the bed. It makes us feel like maybe we paid too much for our bed because we didn’t get anything off by getting those things afterwards. But other than those two issues, I’m sleeping pretty darn good which is the main thing.

Other than the people who came and set up the bed, everything about our experience with Sleep Number has been awful. When we got it, we were assisted by somebody who wasn't super helpful. We seemed like we're a bother to him and the other guy there who wasn't helping us started yelling at him in front of us. If we weren't so settled in getting a Sleep Number, because I've had back surgeries and I needed one, then we would've walked out of the store. But we got the bed, sheets, some bedding and a cover. And the bed has not been working right for us. The air never stays the same, we always have to adjust it and sometimes we wake up to a zero. They told us to switch sides and see if it still did it. We did that and it doesn't do it as much but it still does it here and then. We paid $7,000 but we've had nothing good from it. I had two people say that they're thinking of getting a Sleep Number and I told them not to bother. It's not worth the money.

I would like to revise my opinion of sleep number. granted I got rejected by several people saying they couldn't help me and yes it took posting on here to get a good phone number I could talk to somebody that could actually help me. I advise if you are having this same issue to call the number Jamie gave to call. the lady that came to the phone 1st handed me off to another person and he took plenty of time and effort to find me in their old system. I want to thank him over and over. I know I will butcher his name but thank u Enrique(supervisor) hats off. now I finally have a replacement foam, mattress, and machine coming back to me. don't give up, they will help you with a little push.

Today I was unzipping my 5000 Sleep Number bed. I found mold in the foam and on the blow up mattresses. No wonder I started developing issues at night. Now I have asthma!! So I talked with somebody on instant msg (ben) for Sleep Number. He asked for my address and phone #. However this has been maybe 15 years and I gave him what I could remember. He couldn't find me so he told me to call product specialist because they take mold seriously. The guy said he could create a file and set me up with replacements. So I called. Talked to BOB (I have phone # and ext) but I don't think I can put it on here. I told him what was stated with the guy on instant messaging. He tried to look me up again, said there are a lot of zip codes for my area and he would probably find a lot of names under the last name.
Next he says, "Well, I need the paperwork to do a claim. I can't find you in the system." I told him it was probably 15 years ago and I might not be able to find it. I asked if he could look it up by serial number or another way. He said no. Now he says I will have to pay 200.00 for a new pad since I can't find my receipt. I didn't even ask about the 2 blow up mattresses... Are you kidding me. This is a huge health issue!! They can't seem to send a replacement of the foam and mattresses?? What kind of warranty is this? I have pics of the mold on my items. What more do they need?? I asked if there was somebody higher up than him. He said no he was a supervisor. Well it doesn't seem they really take mold that seriously does it!!

Ordered 2 weeks ago. Got confirmation of delivery date, got call day of delivery they would be there. Ten minutes after they were to be there they called and said the rest of the day's deliveries were canceled. This is after I had my old bed removed from the house and sent off. Tried calling everyone involved to no avail. Now my wife and I need to sleep at a hotel for somewhere to stay. But no one seems to want to help.

My Sleep Number bed with the Flexfit adjustable base were purchased July 2, 2016. They were FINALLY delivered August 12, 2016. I had 3 great weeks of sleeping soundly & without pain. On Sept. 3rd, the adjustable bed stopped working. Scott, a service technician for the adjustable bed has come 4 times in the past 2 weeks. He exchanged cables & computers 2-3 times, but to no avail. He is a very experienced technician.
I want the adjustable bed completely replaced with a new adjustable bed. This has been a huge disappointment & a waste of my valuable time. The purchase of the i10 mattress & adjustable bed cost $10,000.00. I was led to believe that these products were top of the line. Sadly, much cheaper mattresses & adjustable beds seem to work without any problem from the time they are delivered. Financed thru Synchrony Bank.

We had one of the first Sleep Number beds in the beginning and we've had it for 15 years so it was time to replace it but we just got the mattress and the base. It took us a week to make a decision on which bed we really wanted, because I wanted one and my husband wanted another. And then we compromised and got one that was in the middle. Their sales rep was great. We were in and out of the store every day but he didn’t rush us because it’s such a big purchase. Their delivery team were great as well. They were in and out of here within a half hour, and I was highly impressed at how fast they were. The only problem was that the clip in the base that holds the two bottom frame together have to be re-positioned sometimes. We have the split twins, and they move to where the frames aren’t lining up. But other than that, we don’t have any complaints.

I already had a Sleep Number for years and I was replacing it. I then went to the Sleep Number store and the sales representative showed me what they had. I got the mattress and the foundation and had them delivered. However, it wasn't too pleasant with the delivery team because they didn't tell me that they wouldn't remove the other bed. They should inform in advance that they are not going to do that. I ended up delaying the delivery, paying somebody to come and dismantle the other bed, and take it out. But other than that, I would recommend them.

Sleep Number is the best investment I ever made. The sales rep was great, walked us through the whole process. They had some screen, I lie down on the bed, it showed me where all my pressure points are at and helps me get through all of it. We spent a lot of time, not only with me but with my wife and son too to make sure everybody was happy. We bought a bed for us and then one for my son as well. We got a couple of mattresses, a couple of base, and some pillows. There was like a topper in there too. Plus, the delivery team were excellent, took away the old stuff, set everything up, and made sure my wife understood how to use all of the products. Sleep Number has been great, and we love the overall quality of their products.

My husband likes a soft bed and I like a little firmer so we thought buying a Sleep Number bed might be the way we’d get it done. Their sales reps were great and their delivery team brought the bed out and put it all together. We couldn’t have put that together ourselves. Two of our kids also have Sleep Number beds and they just love it. Overall, it's very good. I’m sleeping on 65 and my husband’s on 45. However, our sheets are too deep. They were on a much deeper, thicker mattress and they get all messed up all the time. We should look some time for a sheet that fits our mattress.

We love our Sleep Number bed. So far it's great. Our old mattress really wasn’t very comfortable. We wake up with our back sore each morning. We were a little hesitant at first, but since then we were very satisfied with our purchase. We bought the mattress, adjustable base, a couple of pillows and sheets. We were pleased with our rep. She was really good and was very helpful with these products.The delivery team was very pleasant and professional. They came in on time, were nice and they set it up the bed where we chose it. They knew what they were doing.

I am incredibly frustrated and disappointed with my Sleep Number bed delivery experience. I was suppose to get my bed on Wednesday, September 14th. I received my first phone call around 7:45 AM that day to expect my bed to be delivered in an hour. 9:30 rolled around and I received another call that the truck broke down, but that they should be at my home in another hour. 11:30 came, and I called to inquire about my bed; they said they would arrive around 1:00 PM. I get a call shortly after 1:00 and was told that they would not be coming because the breakdown was more severe than they realized and they would call with a new delivery schedule. I had taken off of work that day and moved a drs appointment to the next day (I ended up having to go to urgent care that evening instead because, as it turned out, I had a double ear infection) to accommodate the ever changing schedule that day, only for them not to show.
So, I get a phone call that evening saying that my new delivery date would be Sunday, September 18th (today). I was skeptical, so this morning I chatted with a "Vlad" on the Sleep Number site and inquired about my delivery today. He said that the system said the bed should arrive between 5 and 9, but just a few days before, the automated system said that the bed would be here between 3 and 7!! So I tried calling the Sleep Number store I bought the bed from, and the corporate office, and they are all closed today. Around noon I received a call from Sleep Number customer service with an apology that once again my bed will not be coming today!!
Apparently, they had no way of getting my bed out of storage because it is closed today. They are refunding me my delivery fee, and I was told that they MIGHT be able to accommodate my schedule (might, as in maybe, not as in definitely). THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! I will be contacting corporate, my Sleep Number store, and anybody else I can get a hold of tomorrow to complain about the very poor customer service. The delivery refund for wasting my time (I took a day off from work) and energy is simply not enough. This is TWICE now that Sleep Number has cancelled my delivery. I will not stand for this.

I've been hearing a lot of good things about Sleep Number, and I wanted to try it out so I got a mattress from them. The sales rep was really nice and professional. The mattress is nice, and I like it. It's a lot better than what I expected. I might get a couple more in the future for my kids.

My boyfriend’s back is really bad, so he needed something that was more adjustable instead of just a mattress so we decided to purchase a Sleep Number bed with the adjustable base at the head. Their sales rep was great. I talked to him before and then he just happened to be there the next time I walked in. And when I got the bed, he was really helpful. Their delivery team was really good too. The guy showed me how to use all the stuff, how I'd reset the bed if I needed to and how to set it up at some points. We love the overall quality of the bed. My boyfriend has less aches and pains now when he gets up in the morning. We probably will never get a different bed.

I requested delivery time on Friday sep 16, 8-12am but they set me up on 12-4pm. I call first two times. Talk to two guys. They didn’t talk nice to me. I call customer service. I talked to Laura. At first I want to cancel my order but she calm me down and get me $200 discount off my order. I been wait all afternoon that day (I suppose to be at work). I first call and check with your staff name Anthony. He said delivery should be here @ 1.50pm. I wait until 3.00pm. No one show up. I call again. This time they said delivery will be here in 15 mins. After that still have no one show up. Then I call again around 3.30 pm. I think lady name Luke (I’m not sure). She check and said that delivery will be arrive in few mins. STILL HAVE NO ONE ** SHOW UP.
I wait until around 4.00pm that I talked to Sean that time. I was really mad. They waste my time. I lose money. I didn’t go to work because I have to wait for your delivery but they NEVER SHOW UP AND KEEP TELLING ME TO WAIT FOR THEM. SEAN GET ME ANOTHER $200 DISCOUNT OFF my order and he give me foam top for free. ALL THIS TIME NO ONE CONTACT ME ABOUT DELIVERY. ONLY I CALL THEM TO CHECK ON MY ORDER.
I wait until 4.30pm. Still no one show up. After that have 1 phone call said my delivery will be here in next 30-45 mins. Are you ** serious?! I can’t wait anymore. I gotta go to pick up my shift that time. I already late. I suppose to be there 4pm. Then I call to Sean again and tell him to contact delivery guy to leave all my order at the lobby of my apartment building and I will assemble everything by myself after I come back from work. Reason that I didn’t cancel order that time because I just want the mattress. I don't want to sleep on the floor or sofa.
Until 6.11pm someone call me that they didn’t delivery my order and I have to reschedule my ** bed!!! I’m pissed off. I call the same lady that I talk. I’m not sure her name. Luke said what she can do is just reschedules and delivery it on Thu Sep. 29. Does that mean I have no bed to sleep until delivery date?! I asked her, "What you gonna do with this?" She said she don't know what to say. ** IT!!! I NEED SOMEONE TO RESPONSIBLE WITH THIS!! THIS IS NOT MY FAULT!! YOUR DELIVERY TEAM **!! THEY LIED TO ME. They never be on time!!
My friend who recommend me to buy mattress from Sleep Number. He own 1 mattress and he told me yours is great. He also told me too that time when his bed was delivered he had this kind of problem too. He got his bed late too. But I thought that might be an accident or mistake but truth is your team are “UNPROFESSIONAL“. I lost my trust from your company. Now I would never tell my friend and everyone I know to order from you again. SO DISAPPOINTED!!
I know you have a good mattress. Your customer service team are great. I’m sorry that I’m not nice to some of you. I blame you with the fault that not yours. But just think!! If it were you “WHAT YOU GONNA DO?” You must be pissed, right? What I need is the bed I paid for delivery fee $179 (even you get me discount for that) but it doesn't mean you can be late for my bed delivery. Now I didn’t get my bed on time, how your company going to take care of this??? You might don’t care whatever I complain. I just a customer just a small voice. I had recommended Sleep Number to a friend. He bought one and he was really raved about it, so I decided to get one too as I have bad arthritis. I got the mattress and the base but I didn’t know that it's all I was getting. I was going by the picture I was looking at and it didn’t have the box shown underneath the bed. I thought it's the thermostat that’s why it was cheaper than what my friend took. They told me that it was cheaper to begin with because we had a markdown.
The service guys that came out to put it up and service it have been wonderful. At 85, I have bad hips and knees and it's really difficult for me to do a lot of things. The customer service has been great too. I had to have them come out and replace something about the bladder inside and it's sinking down again, but I'm waiting a while to find out. The sheets are a little expensive and don’t spin dry. It's still wet when we get it out of the washer maybe because the water doesn’t go into them or absorb into them. I thought it was my washer as it was heavy and maybe it has something with the process since they make them cooler and with more layers but the next load which are my dresses was fine. I haven’t been through a winter with it yet so I'll find that out.
I'm only using half the bed at a time because my husband passed away over a year ago. I use a very firm mattress but went down to 50, then back up to 60 because I like it a little bit firmer than 50, but I was up to 85 and thought that I felt it's a little softer and a bit better. I don’t hurt during the night anymore and I've been pretty satisfied with my Sleep Number. Also, my friend that I recommended the bed to also said how wonderful the bed was and how easy it had made it for her back.

Sleep Number was ranked as the best in an article I read on Consumer Reports, so we got a mattress from them. Had a good experience with the sales reps, as well as with the UPS shipping. The bed was easy to set up and I do like this better than what we had previously. It pretty much did what we thought it would, and that's what we were looking for, so we like it.

Sleep Number's delivery system is a complete disaster. I ordered my bed on 8/21, supposed to deliver bed yesterday and the mattress did not make it on the truck. Now I have to wait until 23rd.

I was looking for a new bed and I heard good things about Sleep Number from my sister. I then got a mattress from them. The sales people at Sleep Number were excellent, very conscientious, and they took their time. I scheduled a home delivery, and the delivery guys were excellent too. I'm a fairly big guy, and at times it feels like I'm sinking in further than I should, but I'm getting the best sleep I've gotten in years. I really like my Sleep Number mattress.

Have not received delivery yet. Delivery company called Wednesday to confirm delivery and haul off. They called at 7:00 AM this morning to say they would be here at 8:00 AM, then they called back at 7:15 and would not be able to do Haul away because we are first delivery but could come back sometime in the next 2 weeks. I have no choice but to take delivery with no haul away or reschedule whole delivery. Great first impression.

My i10 bed arrived today and was missing the top memory foam padding. I was told it would take several day to re-ship this box. This is unsatisfactory considering the price of the bed.

This may be a fantastic bed, but we'll never know because the delivery is impossible! We were booked last Friday between 4-8 and delivery got cancelled at 7:15. They pushed us back for delivery 6 days later on Thursday between 10-2 and again, waited until after 1 to cancel delivery. They said the next available date is 5 days away... pretty sure we'll be cancelling our i8 flex 3 base purchase after my husband finds out since he's already taken off 2 1/2 days of work! Very disappointing business practices.

Nothing done. Called back and nothing was ordered by Keyon--he lied about order. Talked to Jerith 8-3-16. Told it would be ordered, order came with wrong size topper that was foam junk. Talked to Tracy, also told that she would follow up--never heard from her again. Everything the same? Posted complaints on Facebook, contacted by Sleep Number said they would have a manager call. Woman left a message and call back num. It was a fax num. that was no good? Will not give up!!!

I order a mattress that came yesterday. When they went to install one of these boxes was open and missing some screws. They told me that I would receive the screws that same day and that they would return tomorrow. Nobody called me the other day, and when I call customer service I was notified that my shipment is scheduled in two weeks. The worst thing is that they took my mattress because they said they will returned the next day and now I have no mattress to sleep for two weeks. I have all this boxes in my room and no installation for two weeks. Customer service said they will not charge me for the delivery, but this don't change that I need to sleep on the floor for two weeks. I had never written a review in my life, but I feel the service was awful and they not care that I have to sleep on the floor.

My husband and I were really excited to get the Sleep Number bed, a purchase we had been contemplating for quite some time. With the recent Labor Day sale, we opted for the iLe model with delivery and setup. Unfortunately, the delivery team damaged my bed frame's wooden side rail when sliding the plastic foundation into place. The placement was done quite hard (I could hear the thud from downstairs) and my husband immediately came to get me to show me the damage. There was a gouge taken out of the finished wood. I pointed it out and while it was hard to understand the delivery team (English was not their first language), I was finally put on the phone with someone I believe was a supervisor.
Shortly after, I was put on the phone with a customer service rep who informed me a complaint (or claim) would be made under my order number and I would get a call back within 24 hours. In 3 hours or so, that 24 hour time frame will elapse and I have yet to receive a call. A note aside, I adjusted the bed three times last night and couldn't get comfortable at all. I'm running on roughly 5 hours of sleep as I type this.

Hello. I just purchased a Sleep Number bed and received it on 09/10/2016. This bed does not feel like what I tried out in the store. It is very uncomfortable and I felt worse on this bed than my old mattress. I've only had the bed for 2 days and I called customer service for a return... I was told that the base is non-refundable and will only refund me for the mattress. That's 900.00 they will keep!!! I'm so not happy with this. I used most of my savings to get this bed because of the back pain that I have. I want ALL of my money back on this!!! SO NOT HAPPY!!!

Found the whole process very easy and the customer service was exceptional. The set up team were in and out in 6 minutes leaving no trace other than the new mattress. Sleep has been good for me and getting better as we learn how to adjust and find the right number. It has only been two nights so far but I am extremely happy with the product.

Just upgraded to the i10 with adjustable frame. We have owned an innovation series pillow top sleep number for 18 years and absolutely have loved it. We have never had one single problem with it. After 18 years it still worked perfectly AND was still under the 20 year warranty! Rarely did I have to check my sleep number to make sure it was the same. Maybe once a year but probably more infrequently than that. If it was off, it was never more than 5 (my sleep # is 35, my husband's is 65).
Lately I've developed a medical condition requiring my head to be raised 7-9 inches when I sleep. I tried the wedge pillows, but without raising my feet I'd slide down. We upgraded our bed to a new split king i10 bed with the adjustable mattress base. Now I can raise my head/feet to any degree I want with the touch of a button. This new bed also has the sleep IQ technology and tells me my breathing rate, my heart rate, my REM sleep, how many times I was restless and what my suggested sleep # is!!! There is an app on my phone, but the phone does not have to be near the bed. The bed has its own sensors, magic!! This bed has a memory foam and regular foam layer for its last layer before the pillow top.
I like my side with the memory foam up. It's heavenly with the adjustable firmness. My husband likes the regular foam up and to sleep flat. We both love the personal variation for each side. While the bed is definitely expensive, they now have a 25 year warranty and because of our experience with the last bed, we know it will be going strong even then. There is nothing like a Sleep Number bed! Great customer service, helpful sales and delivery people, I can't say enough. I would have added my receipt for the new bed below, but I don't have a scanner. I have listed my sleep # order # though. I am a double verified buyer as this is my second sleep # bed!

We have had our very expensive but excellent Sleep Number bed for a couple of years. For more than half this time our remote would not show the left side of the bed, and we could only adjust the right side. Being reasonably competent with electronics I knew the remote was faulty, not the bed. But Sleep Number does not let customers buy remotes at their stores, and their website ALWAYS says the remotes are not available (like they are "out of stock"). When you call customer service they force you to go through an agonizingly painful troubleshooting exercise to check everything on the bed, when all along you know it's just the bed!
At the end, the only way you can get a replacement remote is to pay $180 for a service technician to come to your house. We did this - and within 5 minutes the technician said "you need a new remote". Hey presto, wow, never thought of that. Anyway, he said he would order us a replacement - and said of course they are available for him to order. So, we will have to pay for a new remote and for the totally useless service call ($180)! This is such a blatant scam and obviously designed carefully by Sleep Number to work this way that it has to be exposed. This is consumer deception - by saying the product is "not available" on their website, where you can buy pillows and blankets and all sorts of other accessories, is just being dishonest. Please stop this practice Sleep Number!
