The Sleep Number's sales representative was very helpful and we got to test all the different features on all their different beds. So it was a good experience overall dealing with him. My husband also had nothing bad to say about the people who installed the bed. I like my Sleep Number a lot better than my old bed.

My doctor told me about Sleep Number because when I was going through chemo, I had bone problems and they recommended that bed and a hot tub. It's the best thing I've ever laid down on. I had all different kind of mattresses before but I didn't get the thing that raises me up and down which I love. Also, the little girl star that took care of me at the store was sweet as a bee.

I went to the store and the sales reps gave me all the information that I require. It was amazing. The delivery guys called me before they arrived, and they helped me with everything on it. I really love the bed. I even bought another one for my son and it’s good. But I have some issues right now because when I put the bed on the correct number, I feel so soft. I am not sure what happened, but I feel something is strange. Also, somebody called me to say that I receive a gift because I recommended Sleep Number to somebody else, but I never received anything.

I'd heard from a couple of different friends that they really like their Sleep Number, the way they could adjust the firmness of the mattress. We bought one at the beginning of this year and it was a busy time of year. The sales representatives did their best to give us the time that we needed. We could have gotten some better prices because I see some other types of sales and I've seen that other people had managed to get the queen size mattress for a lot less money.
We also bought some mattress covers and pillows, but we ended up spending over $3,000 for a queen size. If I were to do it again, I would be more diligent about asking for other types of mattresses that might be available instead of just looking at the sale page that they had at the store. The reps helped us with the right pillows and the best mattress pad but they didn’t help us with a better price. Other than that, they were very nice and we like the bed. The quality is good and it hasn’t given us any problems.

We had a Tempur-Pedic and over time it sags in the middle, so we wanted a good mattress, but we didn’t want the foam ones that were going to make the dent. We then bought the Sleep Number since we thought that it would stay firm and stay in shape, and it has. We had just moved to Oklahoma from Maryland. So, we purchased our Sleep Number bed from a Maryland store down at White Marsh Mall because there aren’t any stores around here that carried it. I wanted to try it out in the store. I went through and tried all the different ones out, and the salesperson was very helpful explaining what the difference was between the different models. And then, I ordered it and they brought it to Oklahoma. The two guys who delivered it and set it up were awesome.
We have enjoyed our Sleep Number bed. My husband likes a soft bed and I like a firm one. He is overweight and the foam is actually pushed away from the bed where he gets in and gets out of it. So, it’s not even straight up and down anymore but we’re sleeping good. However, it definitely was not worth the price once I saw the materials. There are two air mattresses surrounded by foam. When I watched it being put together. I was like, “This is way too much money for an inflatable mattress surrounded by foam.” Other than that, we recommended it to my father-in-law, and he purchased one and he likes it a lot, too.

My husband and I have different preferences. When I came into the store, I already knew what I wanted and the sales guy scheduled the logistics. The delivery was nice and smooth. I like the flexibility of Sleep Number as I can adjust things. I will recommend it because it met the criteria that I set out to achieve.

My sister purchased from Sleep Number and highly recommended them. When we bought one, the sales reps helped us make a decision and showed us how it worked. I got a queen size mattress which has excellent quality. Overall, Sleep Number was very professional, courteous and easy to deal with. It was a very good experience with them.

I ordered a king size down comforter for my son and daughter in law for Christmas. A twin arrived. I immediately contacted Sleep Number through e-mail. After a week and no response, I called the customer service department and was told that I had only ordered "half of a comforter." The website is not at all clear about this so I said I needed to return it. I was informed that they will do an exchange on bedding but no returns (something about it being bedding - but I couldn't figure out the difference between taking it back on an exchange versus taking it back).
At any rate, I did the exchange for a complete comforter (instead of half of one) and was told that it was now final sale. If anything was wrong with it or they didn't like it, it couldn't be returned because we had exchanged the wrong item. I was now caught between a rock and a hard place. They had no use for half of a comforter so it had to be returned, and if something was wrong with comforter number two, we were stuck with it (to the tune of $300). I would NEVER, ever shop with this company again - I don't care how great their products are - they are not at all customer friendly.

I live 45 minutes to an hour from your nearest store. The professional was very helpful in her explanation of your products. This was my first time in one of your stores. I did not feel that I was being pressured. I do feel that there should be an incentive of some kind for cash paying customers.

Your customer service lady knows more about the equivalence of my I9 bed than your in store salesperson. Am now really confused. Since you make an I8 and an I10 I needed to know the equivalence of the one I have. I got two different answer and with the cost of the bed, I wish your sales people knew what they were talking about.

I had a Sleep Number bed for 12 years and I got a new mattress from them recently. Their sales staff were very good and the guy who came to put it up was very nice and efficient. I like my Sleep Number bed and I couldn't live without one. I would recommend it.

We bought a Sleep Number around 18 years ago and we liked the bed so much that we bought another one for our vacation place. The most recent purchase is my third Sleep Number bed. But before this, we had the mattress that will adjust the different numbers on it. It was a straight mattress and we used that because my wife and I have different sleeping patterns. I had a back injury so the type of mattress she needed wasn't working for me and vice-versa. We needed something that was gonna be compatible for us and right away we were drawn to Sleep Number.
With the recent purchase, we went with the adjustable bed because my back injury had progressed to where I need multiple positions depending on what the needs of my back are. I found the Sleep Number to be a necessity and the bed was a perfect fit for me. My back got to the point where I went with a Sealy Posturepedic mattress which we spent quite a sum of money on but it wasn't working for us and I couldn't even deal with it. So we went back to Sleep Number and it’d been a few years since we purchased one. There were a lot of changes with the adjustable bed and once we saw how it moves around, we knew that it was gonna work for us even though it was a little pricey.
The sales guy that helped us was very personable and spent a lot of time with us answering all the questions and made sure that if there was any kind of deals or specials that were occurring, he went out of his way to try to find the best purchase price for us which we really appreciated. We had a scheduled assembly so the delivery guys came and set it all together. Everything went well.
We're happy with the way the bed is operating and like all the positions. Everything has been working the way we expected it to. There are times when I have soreness and certain positions in my sleeping is a problem. Having a Sleep Number bed is great because if I wake up in the middle of the night because I've reached a point of discomfort where I need a new position, I can readjust it. So It's worked out very well. Sleep Number delivers as promised.

My parents have a Sleep Number and they really enjoyed it, so my husband and I got our bed from them as well. The people at Sleep Number were very nice. They were helpful and made sure we got what we needed. Being able to change everything and move up and down was really convenient and helpful as I was pregnant at the time. So far, our Sleep Number bed is holding up nicely.

I got a mattress and a base from Sleep Number which was what the sales rep recommended. I got it delivered and put together but when I moved and had to put it together myself, it was pretty easy. I love the bed and I recommend it to everybody at work.

We already had a Sleep Number bed for ten years. Then we purchased a mattress and a base. The delivery team did everything in the time frame that they said they would do it. They were courteous, clean and everything I could ask for. They've been consistently good about any time they brought or exchange products for us. The last bed we got had two controllers. But I was a little perturbed with them because we bought a new bed and we only got one controller. It seems to hold its adjustment fairly well so we don't use it that often. Other than that, they were great.
We love the quality of our Sleep Number beds and we wouldn't sleep on anything else. When we get into bed, we are so happy to be there because it's very comfortable. All in all, they're good, organized and a professional group to work with. The customer service people have always been very courteous, accurate and if they say they're going to do something, they do it. We've recommended them to our daughter and son-in-law and they bought one.

I got a Sleep Number bed because of how the advertisement had it that it was comfortable and so good to help you sleep. Moreover, the sales reps were nice people, and this helps with the sales. However, for me, that was false advertisement. My Sleep Number bed is the worst bed I've ever had. It doesn't meet my expectations. My wife and I both agree on this, and we're dissatisfied with the bed. In fact, we're thinking about putting our old bed back on. So, I wouldn't buy another Sleep Number bed. For those people who plan to buy one, I wouldn't buy it if I were them.

We bought our second Sleep Number. We liked our first bed, and now it was over 12 years old. I had the order drop shipped and we put the bed together. It was pretty easy except there were some parts of it that did not work for us. We have a four-poster bed and the cover that's supposed to go over what would normally be the box spring. Because we have a king size, we have the two separate sides. The cover would not fit between the railings and the housing that the mattresses lay on, so we did not use it.

I have a Sleep Number for years now, and then I purchased for both of my daughters recently. It was over the phone and the sales representative asked questions. They gave me good information and I already knew the product was good. Then we scheduled for home delivery. One of them was delivered in New York and they set that up there. Then we had the other one mailed here, so we put it together. The quality's fantastic and everybody loves the bed. I'm always recommending them.

My old Sleep Number had worn out past its time so I bought a new one. However, I wish I had gotten the i10. I got an iLE instead because the store wouldn't give us the sale price that they were running on the i10 when I went to the store a week ago.

One of the reasons I got a Sleep Number mattress is being able to adjust the numbers to my comfort if I get hurt and I want to sleep on something a bit firmer than usual. Also, I can adjust both heights so my partner and I can have different comfort levels. The sales rep knew that I wanted the basic and that I cannot afford anything more than that. She was helpful and not being pushy at all. She gave me my space and told me to come and ask her if I have any questions. She was very laid back and I appreciated that because nothing is more annoying when someone is in your face while you're looking to purchase something. Overall, my experience with Sleep Number has been easy and comfortable. I love the quality. I still enjoy it and I don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon. I've heard that after about ten years, they can lose some of the firmness and it becomes more elastic but I haven't experienced that.

We had some friends that went with Sleep Number and they were bringing it to praises. We didn't feel buying another regular mattress that we would have to replace in three to seven years and continue that. Getting Sleep number seemed a little more economically wise. The lady rep seemed to know what she was talking about and it was pleasant to deal with. Then the delivery team was courteous and delivered it on time. We like the bed so far.

We had lost everything in Hurricane Katrina. When we got into our new house, we bought a Sleep Number bed. My husband was going to have a fit at the money I was spending on it, so I didn't tell him. I had it delivered and paid for them to set it up. He was mad at me 'cause he said he could've done it. We got another one and set it up ourselves.
Then we finally got back to New Orleans and moved into my mother's house and kept the bed over there 'cause I didn't want to move it twice. When our new house was finished, we went and got my Sleep Number. We took it apart and paid attention 'cause we didn't have any instructions and we didn't have any trouble putting it together. We were able to do it but there was a glitch with it because the air chamber fell on one side. It's fairly firm but I like it firmer and it doesn't seem to be inflating. When I bought the second one, I mentioned it to the saleslady and she said they don't wear out. She told me something is not connected so that's what I have to check. Other than that, I love it and I'm very happy with my Sleep Number bed.

I was very unhappy with my old mattress so I purchased a Sleep Number. I paid more for it than my Sleep Number, and it sagged within six weeks since I bought it. Sleep Number's delivery team was a young man and an older gentleman, and both of them were very professional and courteous. They cleaned up any little pieces of paper bits or plastic that they dropped. I would highly recommend those guys.

I was on the market for a mattress and I had on a number of occasions stayed in a hotel that had Sleep Number and I liked it. The sales representative walked me and my wife through the process, talked to us in detail about options and made sure we had a good start for figuring out what our Sleep Number would be. We're very happy with our mattress and I would recommend it.

We did some mattress shopping and decided on getting a Sleep Number given the life-expectancy of the use and the ability to customize it on each side of the bed. We went to the store in Atlanta two or three times and had good interactions with the sales professionals. We like the bed, but I've noticed that I can't change the inflation on my side of the bed. I have to get somebody to check it out.

I was in need of a new mattress, and Sleep Number seemed to provide the latest technology and the best warranty I could find on a mattress. So I bought their mattress set and the frame. Their sales reps were very helpful and me all the best service that they could. I've had it for at least six months now and it's done exactly what it was supposed to do, but as far as the comfortability, I've been having some issues with finding the right setting with my mattresses. I got it mostly for the sole purpose of helping with back problems, and I was thinking that would solve the problem using the mattress. It really hasn't. I've been trying different settings and it's always been the same. But it might not be the bed itself and it might be my back. Overall, I've been satisfied.

I'm on my fourth Sleep Number bed that I've purchased. Initially, I started out with back pain so I liked the idea of having an adjustable bed. We had a split King, then bought a regular King later on. We just upgraded and bought a new one last year and put the other one in the other bedroom and added a bigger mattress. I like the idea that my wife and I can have our numbers. My mother-in-law has a Sleep Number bed as well. I went into a store one time when we bought our first one. All the rest of them, I bought through telephone calls and their phone operators are great. Everything was professional. Sleep Number is a good product. It's not a cheap bedding but it's worth the value and I recommend it all the time.

I purchased the most expensive Sleep Number bed at the time about 5 years ago. One side of my bed goes flat. I called to buy a replacement part for the plastic tubing that has a hole in it. They told me they don't sell this part and that I have to buy a new pump! This is ridiculous! Save your hard earned money and don't buy this bed. I will never buy from this rip off company again! Totally dissatisfied!!!

Anyone have a cure for not sleeping well because the bed is too warm? I have tried web suggestions, cotton sheets, etc. Can't sleep on a gel or latex topper. If no cure I will have to return it. Still in trial period so will to try?? Thanks for any help.

My Sleep Number bed is extremely important to me as I have multiple myeloma, or bone marrow cancer which causes horrible bone pain especially with any pressure. My Select Comfort bed has never let me down. I can't lie on any other bed.

We purchased a king size Sleep Number bed in August of 2016 and have been happy with the bed itself. We also purchased two new pillows at that time and were pleased with them for the first couple of months. However after 3 months or so, the middle has flattened out and is uncomfortable leaving a cramp in our neck on both the medium and full support pillows. As to whether it is because of the size I am not sure but when I contacted support the person told me that there was nothing they could do for me - even though we spent a huge amount of money on the whole package because you can only exchange pillows for the first 30 days and if there is not a manufacturers defect your warranty doesn't matter. Does a pillow that loses shape fall into the guideline of a manufacturer defect? Please contact me to respond to this problem. Thank You.

I like the idea of buying a bed that wasn’t one firmness. Like you get a bed home and you think it’s great in the store and get home and a week later you realize, “Oh crap, I bought the wrong bed.” It’s too hard or too soft. It’s like I’m Goldilocks. I want it to be just right. So I got a mattress from Sleep Number. The sales people were very nice. They didn’t have to do a whole lot of explaining to me because I’d already did my research. I like it and this is one of the best purchases I’ve made.

Sleep Number has done wonders for me because I'm actually sleeping through the night a little bit better now. I was having problems with my back and cannot sleep very well before I had their mattress. Their sales professional were very courteous and informative. Also, the delivery went fine. The bed showed up in a big box and I set it up myself. I got the base model and setting it up was easy and straightforward.

Sleep Number is a nice bed. It's much better than my old bed. The old one was a piece of crap. In addition, the Sleep Number reps were great and their delivery team did fairly well. It was a hard delivery at that tight spot but they did a good job for what they had to deal with.

I've had prior back and neck issues and I've seen Sleep Number commercials in the past and knew it was a different sleeping alternative to the one that I had. Included in the package deal are the base, a mattress, a sheet set, a couple of pillows and a mattress protector as well. The clerk at the store was very informative. Told us our options, helped us out with the financing of it all, got everything set up for our installation of the bed. Once the installers got here, they were even more informative and they set everything up for us and went step by step on how to basic customize the bed for our sleep patterns. The only thing about it is that it's pricey, but I still highly recommend Sleep Number. It's a great bed.

The product that we received from Sleep Number seemed so very different from the product we had tested in their showroom. We went through a lot of trouble selecting the mattress of sufficient quality to provide both services and comfort that we had in mind and I'm extraordinarily dissatisfied with the mattress that we received. They had no specific response other than to say that because the mattress felt so uncomfortable, it would be better if I placed a pad of foam on top of it, essentially rebuilding the mattress. We were misled, deceived and lied to.
They were also inconsistent about the promises they made when the mattress could be delivered and what our experience would be like. The delivery date changed three times and I had to work with a difficult schedule around. Then when we finally received it, we were not satisfied with how it worked. They're still at a loss to explain why it is so different than the product that we tested in their showroom. They gave us complimentary pillows to make up for the dissatisfaction that we have experienced, but the Sleep Number bed is an unpleasant sleeping experience and if it wasn't so expensive, I might try to replace it with some other mattress type.

We liked the Sleep Number and we tried it out. We wanted to have a bed that we could both enjoy. Like they say in the commercials, one person likes a harder bed, one wants a softer bed. With the Sleep Number, we could adjust it and it looked like it was a good idea. The salespeople were very nice. We got the mattress and the base which is the hard plastic stuff. We did the home delivery and it worked out really well. When I came home, the delivery guys were finishing the assembly of the bed. They knew what they were doing and it was all done in a timely manner.
On the whole, the Sleep Number people were knowledgeable and they were helpful. So far, we've had that bed since early March and we're enjoying it. It's a comfortable bed and we always readjust it up or down with the air compression. We made a good choice in purchasing it. It all worked out and we're happy with the results. If somebody's looking into buying a Sleep Number bed, I would recommend them.

We had a bed that had the mattress come with it and it was pretty firm. I only get 5 and a half hours of sleep a night at the most. We put a mattress topper on it to make it a little more plush and that didn't work either. But now with Sleep Number, I get between six and a half to eight hours of sleep a night. It's really been doing us a world of good. The sales reps showed us different beds. They were really informative and it was a great experience down there at the Layfield, Olympia area. The delivery team was in and out a lot quicker than I thought they were going to be. They put it all together and aired it up in 30 minutes. We bought a new bed frame to go with it. If we have any problems with it at all, we can call and get things fixed. So, this is probably going to be a lifelong bed for us.

We got our Sleep Number last year when they had a really good sale. We wanted to get a king size bed so we figured with the sales that we'd try a Sleep Number. Their people were very courteous and helpful. The only issue I had was they only gave us the warranty forms for the base and not the ones for the bed. Also, the only thing I'm not real fond of is that since we bought a split king, there's that divide in between and I like to sleep in a separate bed. But it's a really nice bed that we're able to customize the firmness and adjust the base.

We bought the complete set of bed from Sleep Number. The sales professional at Sleep Number was also busy with other customers but we were able to talk to him while he was doing paperwork. During delivery, the team from Sleep Number did not explain anything about it. They were gone before I knew it so we had to try and figure it out ourselves. The mattress we've got is a split king size and there's a six inches gap in between the two mattresses. It feels like it's rolling over instead of being like a mattress. We literally have a pillow lying in between them. The sheets and everything for its all custom are outrageous in price. We probably won't buy another one. But overall, our experience with Sleep Number was fine.

The sales guy that I talked to was courteous and polite but the Sleep Number mattress is not as comfortable as I hoped it would be. It's not exactly what I was expecting from a Sleep Number but it's bought now. I can adjust it to a different pressure, but overall, it's not soft enough. It's like I'm sleeping on an air mattress.

We bought our Sleep Number during the President's Sale last year. It's much better than our previous bed as it's more comfortable. We got the adjustable base and really liked it.

My husband has been listening to Bobby Bones for a while and so he was curious about Sleep Number. Then we went out of town and stayed at a relative's and she had one, so that's when we decided to buy one. The Sleep Number reps answered all of our questions and the delivery team were very respectful. They set up the bed and did it in a timely manner. It was a great experience and it's a purchase that we don't regret at all even if it was a little bit pricey. We love the mattress that we actually got my husband's parents buy one this past weekend.

I bought a Sleep Number bed in 1999 and I bought a new one as that one got old. Their rep was very good. He was very knowledgeable about his product and went out of his way to try and find my past purchase history so we could work that. Overall, it was a good experience. After more than 10 years, the bed is a much-improved product. The compressor is so quiet compared to the old one which was like starting a jet engine. I can hardly hear the new one. I have recommended Sleep Number to friends. I really enjoy traveling but there is no Sleep Number bed at the hotels. It's always a pleasure to get back to my bed.

They were great and they took care of the delivery right away. I'm very happy with the product and I'm pleased with its quality. I got the mattress and the mechanical base that goes up and down. I used to have a Sleep Number so I knew it will help my wife from her pain.

I have sleep apnea and I had back surgery so a regular bed seemed either too hard or too soft, and I decided to buy a Sleep bed because they have multiple levels of hardness. I bought my mattress at the Top of the Hill and there were very nice people there. I talked to the guy and he explained everything to me. The delivery team called before they came and they gave me a time period that they’d be here between 2:00 and 5:00. They brought the mattress in and set it up, and it took them all of about 20 minutes. The adjustments of the hardness of the mattress as well as the positioning of the angle of the head makes the bed very customizable. It's a great bed and I'm perfectly happy with it, and I'd definitely recommend it for someone that either has back problems or wants a really comfortable way to sleep. When my friends come over, I have to remind them that this is my bed, not theirs because everybody wants to lie on it.

We wanted to try a king bed from Sleep Number after having them in our home for over 10 years. We were on a trip in Denver and happened to go in the mall, and their sales rep there was great. It was a slick experience with Sleep Number.

My back for the past year has been bothering me to the point I would crawl up the stairs. My Sleep Number bed arrived Dec 29th. I have slept so much better and my back pain is reduced 95%. Worth every penny. I would love one for each bedroom in my home. That will happen ONE DAY. It is like sleeping in a cloud. Some days I prefer the bed a little firmer and I can have it with the press of a button.

This is absolutely the worst purchase I have ever made in a bed. I have owned this bed for about 4 years. I needed to replace the foam mattress cover and now when I am getting ready to move I noticed that the foundation is warping so it sags in the middle. They made me pay for the foam pad even with their "great warranty". I would not recommend this bed to anyone. Not sure how they buy these customer satisfaction awards. I am not satisfied.

Just wanted to pass along that the Sales lady made me feel VERY welcomed and very easy to talk to. She understood my concern that I am not getting sufficient or quality sleep. I only wish that I could have been approved for the full amount. I really feel my body would heal better utilizing the flexfit adjustable. I will be posting on Facebook the outcome of my new bed... I bought my p5 Sleep Number Bed when we were moving out of state. That was a mistake on my part. I ended up having the bed delivered about a month before I was going to be able to sleep on it regularly, thereby using up a big chunk of the trial period. Ultimately, after sleeping on it for a few months I just couldn't get comfortable. I don't have a great back to start with, but when I sleep in this bed I wake up all night due to discomfort. I've tried every setting between 35 and 85 trying to find a good nights sleep. I tried to return the bed at about the 3 month mark, but it was too late. Customer service offered to send me a foam pad they thought would improve my sleep experience. It hasn't.
I bought a new queen mattress for our guest room and spend at least half my nights in there quite comfortable. We paid about $3,000 for this over-rated king size air mattress, but there's just no resale on them. I understand people not wanting to buy a traditional mattress second hand, but this is in perfect condition. I've had the bed about a year and a half now. We were going to change bedding, bed, mattresses and size to King. Everyone whom we had talked to about Sleep Number praised it. So we decided that it's the brand we're getting. But my husband's not as happy with it as I am. He thinks the price is a lot of money and it's not worth that much. But he's resigned that as long as I'm happy, he's happy. We purchased the mattress with the regular base and I’m satisfied with its quality. I sleep better on it too. It was very good with the sales rep as well. He was very informative and encouraged us to try and try with different ones. He was very congenial and wasn't pressuring. It was our choice and decision but he offered every opportunity for us to make sure we were sure with our decision. Then, the process of ordering and delivery went very smoothly also.

I needed a new bed as the bed I was sleeping on sucked. I was debating on either a Sleep Number because my parents had one or a memory foam because my sister has one, and we went with the memory foam because it was cheaper but it was the worst week of sleep I've ever had in my life so we took it back. We tried out the Sleep Number and I love it. It was good too with the sales professional. The only downside was the upselling. They told me I got to have the cooling mat, the sheets and pillows. The bed costs around $2,000 or $3,000, which is not cheap and if I add all the other stuffs they’re telling me to have, the cost will be a little more expensive than I wanted to spend. I ended up getting the bed and the pillows, which were fabulous. Overall, it was a good experience. I had the bed for a year and hopefully it will last me forever. I've had the best sleep ever using it.

I've been looking at Sleep Number for a while mostly because I have a bad lower back and every time I buy a bed it's fine for two weeks and then it's awful for five years. We went to the Ann Harbor location and the sales rep was helpful. He walked us through what was available. Everything went fine and I understand the warranties. However, it prevented me from purchasing one in the past when I was going to get one of these six years ago. The iLE bed was $3,600 which was half off of its original price. When I went in to get one, they said that the only options I had were to pay $3,600 upfront or get the 36-month plan. When I went into purchase this time, it was the same deal but fortunately, I had enough money that I could just pull out of things and campaign myself back. We came back to purchase the mattress, base and pillows a little bit later but the same guy at both times was good.
The delivery was fine although there was a bit of a mix-up. They were supposed to deliver between 10:00 am and noon. It was 2:00 pm so I ended up calling around, just to find out what was going on because nobody had showed up yet. The one I talked to told me that they had actually been to my house and knocked on the door and I didn't answer which was impossible because I've been waiting for them the whole time. Later on, I found out that it was a completely different house that they had gone to and it was just a bit of a debacle. But when the guys got here, they were fine and apologetic and they were nice when they set it up. With Sleep Number, I have the ability to change the bed when I need to. The bed itself is good, but I wouldn't recommend the pillows. I used it for a week and then it broke down to the point where I just stopped using it.

My parents and my siblings all have Sleep Number beds and I'm tired of having a hurting back and my wife and I had different interests in comfort. I wanted to make it firmer, she wanted to make it softer so we decided to get a Sleep Number. The sales rep did really fine. I knew what I wanted when I went in and he was able to help me out and make things go smoothly. The delivery took a day longer than we anticipated but it worked out in the end. We've had it for a year now and ever since, I've had a decreasing back pain, an overall increasing comfort, and I've been waking up feeling better. Everything is as I expected and so far, it has been a good experience.

We received our Sleep Number and it kept going flat. It was never stated that when you’re sleeping on the bed, you have to pump it up every couple of days. I had back surgery and the Sleep Number was the worst thing I've ever had. I was within my 90 days and I paid to send it back. I bought one of the lower end ones and I was told that they can send me everything to make it exactly what the next one up is. I refused because in the end if the bed keeps going flat, how does that help? I asked for my money back which I got.
There’s one commercial where a woman's sleeping on the bed and she sinks in. If I would have noticed that way back then, I would have known that there was going to be an issue with the Sleep Number. I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody. My daughter was going to get one and she changed her mind. Additionally, the Sleep Number people were supposed to call before the bed was going to be delivered. They delivered it two weeks ahead of time and we weren’t home. We live in a rural area and the bed was left out front. We were also supposed to get two remotes, but we only got one. I was going to have to fight for the other one but I just said to hell with it. It didn’t work out anyway. If they can’t do what they say they were going to do, then either they don’t say it or they shouldn't be in business.
The funny thing is I looked at all the Sleep Number reviews and I was pretty hesitant when we got it only because there were a lot of reviews out there that were not nice, and I’m seeing why. My sister-in-law had one of these beds, it was the next one up, and she gave it to her son. That’s how happy she was. We’re not having a great family experience.

I'm sorry you've troubles with your bed, Janette, and you didn't have the experience you were hoping for. I can understand our beds aren't a great fit for everyone and I hope that you were able to find the rest you deserve. Please let us know if there are any questions we can answer in the future.

A friend of mine has a Sleep Number bed. I went and tried it out, and I liked it, so I got one for myself, too. I've had mine for just over a year. My Sleep Number bed is a lot more comfortable than the bed I had before which was a really firm mattress. The Sleep Number guys were friendly and nice. The sales reps, as well as the delivery team, were good too.

We have friends that have had Sleep Number for years and really liked it so we also bought one. We’re on our second Sleep Number and we love it. We moved back up from Arizona and we sold the previous bed with the house. So we bought a new one. The sales reps had been very knowledgeable and helpful in figuring out what we wanted and needed. And the delivery team was very great in setting it up and was quick and professional, too. Sleep Number is just a great bed. Best bed I’ve been on.

I incurred a tough injury rupturing my two discs and I was having back problems. I then thought of buying a Sleep Number bed. I sat and laid down on one and it felt very comfortable. The sales rep I dealt with, which I think was the store manager, was nice. She went out of her way to make sure that everything worked out and that we're able to get the delivery set up because we had just bought a new home that time and it was a hectic week for us. She helped us get everything organized and made sure the bed was with us during our first night in our new home. Then the delivery team came, set the bed up, then they took the time to explain to me a few things that I need to know and showed me how to work everything. They were professional and didn't do anything stupid.
As for the bed, I like its overall quality. I bought the c2 and a sleep monitoring system that comes with it as an add-on. We also got a foam insert to add on top of the bed. It was a big difference from my old bed. It's much more comfortable and I slept better with it. It supported my back and I could control the tension and how hard or soft the mattress feels when I lay down on it. So, I could adjust it straight to where my back would feel okay. I've purchased several beds in my life and this was by far the most expensive but it worked out the best. We've had it about a year now and it's still holding up good and my back feels a lot better. Using the bed was a contributing factor to my recovery.

We remodeled our room and wanted to get a new bed. We went to Sleep Number and their sales reps were very good. We had to reschedule the delivery once and the delivery team was also very accommodating. They couldn't get the mattress over the bed frame which is an older furniture but they were really good about that. We were happy all the way through and still are just happy a year later. We love our Sleep Number and call it our dream bed.

My wife and I got different tastes in firmness and getting the Sleep Number was the only option to control the firmness of the bed on her side. The sales reps were very professional. In fact, one of the salesmen called a while back and was telling us about a sale on some of the beddings but we had all our bedding and pillows so we didn't need anything. But it was nice to get a call. We had the mattress delivered and they installed it. They even trained us a little bit and were very knowledgeable and very friendly. They were fast, too. We've had our bed for a year now and it's like it's still brand new. We love it! I told several friends about Sleep Number beds and it's kind of funny because I work for Leggett & Platt and we make components for beddings.

I had a water bed for many years and it had become a little uncomfortable. I'd seen commercials pretty often on television for Sleep Number and decided to try it out. The quality of the bed is very good and I'm happy with it. I got the exact product that I've wanted. I only bought their mattress as I already have a base from my former bed. The sales rep happened to be good friends with someone that I was acquainted with some years ago and he was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. He told me everything I thought I needed to know so I could make a decision.

I have gastroparesis and my doctor recommended the Sleep Number bed, and so did some of my friends that tried to help me with my acid. I like to take my time purchasing things and don't like to be rushed, and don't like people trying to push me into getting one thing when I don't like it. The saleslady was just super and just let me go through the whole store and lie on every bed that she had in there. I went in there to buy a cheaper bed and when I lay on this one, I said, "This is the one I want." She just let me do what I wanted to do, and that was great. My girlfriend had bought a bed there, too, and she also liked this saleslady.
The delivery crew was great and they really were very nice gentlemen who came on time for the delivery, but the only problem that we had was that we couldn't get the Sleep Number iPhone app to work. But I don't worry about it and couldn't care less about it. As long as I can sleep in this bed, I'm okay. I love my Sleep Number bed and my dog loves it, too. She has taken over the bed and I've got to push her over to use it. I've always bought a mattress wherever I could buy one, but I've never had anything like my Sleep Number bed and I've never lain on one, until I had this. With my Sleep Number bed, I feel like I died and went to heaven because it's so great.

My old bed was 20 years old and I needed something I could adjust. I got a Sleep Number mattress and the reps I dealt with were good. I went in and wanted to get as much information as I could while I was still trying to figure out how much I needed to save up for it. They did the particulars and did a good job of helping me. The people that came in and set it up were in and out. They called me and said they can get here earlier.
I feel great about the quality of Sleep Number. I have a bad back and I can adjust it as needed. It doesn't completely take away my pain but it helps me sleep better and I haven't had this much good sleep in forever. I know a few people with Sleep Number beds and I talked to them and they're also thrilled with their beds. One of them had a sleep Number for over ten years and they will never get a different kind of bed.

My husband wanted to get a Sleep Number and had been talking to some people that have it and absolutely love it, so we decided to bite the bullet and get one. We have looked at it a number of times for the last couple of years, and everybody we've talked to has been very knowledgeable and super nice so we had a very good experience at their store. The delivery people explained everything that we needed to know, hauled off our old mattress, and off they went. However, I am not too happy with it. I think it's because my husband has a CPAP machine and it keeps going off all night long, and I haven't gotten a chance to get a good night's sleep on the bed. But his mask will be changed in a couple of months and it should be a lot quieter than it is now. Then, I might get a chance to go and actually find out what it's like. On the other hand, my husband absolutely loves the Sleep Number. And overall, it was a wonderful experience.

We needed a new mattress and read some good things about Sleep Number. We also wanted an adjustable bed so Sleep Number was a logical choice for us. They were prompt and did a good job. The sales reps were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We like the overall quality of the bed but the Sleep IQ app never really seems to work right. It probably needs to be reprogrammed.

My daughter has lower back problems. We bought a Sleep Number out of necessity and my daughter felt quite rested with it and it has helped her but she still has problems with her lower back. On the other hand, the left side of the bed keeps deflating. We just bought it last year and I've spent a ton of money on the bed so I'm disappointed. But other than that, the quality is great and she'll always use a Sleep Number bed because of her back. In addition, the Sleep Number sales reps were excellent and well-informed about the product.

I've owned Sleep Numbers from the time they came out. I've had back problems. I had heard good reports about the Tempur-Pedic so we decided to go and get that but when I got home, I did not like it at all. We went back to a Sleep Number bed and I'll never leave it again. I have a Sleep Number in the house and also in our fifth wheel. I had a queen at first and most recently got a king sized mattress.
I've had very good interaction with the sales reps. We bought the bed and delivery time was set up but we had a problem. Our friends that bought a Sleep Number king said that they would come over and let the delivery guys in and install it. We were on our way and it was just before we came back before the delivery guys finally got over here and got it put in. And that wasn’t too good of a deal there because of the way that they set it up. They should have put it in right away. They had plenty of time. Evidently, the factory wasn’t able to get the Sleep Number bed to the people that were going to install it.
But resting and sleeping on the bed feels fine. I love it and so does my wife. I've already recommended Sleep Number. Back then, we had some friends who had a Sleep Number and the sweat from their bodies caused the bed to get mold in it. They got rid of the bed and didn't even call Sleep Number. After that, I checked mine and it had mold in it, too. So I called the factory and they sent me a brand new bed and took care of the mold problem.

I bought my Sleep Number a year ago. It's better than my old bed. It should be, as it's 10 times more expensive. Their sales reps were great. They were very informative and not too pushy.The delivery team set the bed up perfectly. My wife really loves our Sleep Number. As for myself, I can sleep on anything comfortably. I could sleep on a board and on a pillow and I’m going to sleep but my wife needs other things. All I think about is how much money we spent on the thing.

My daughter’s father-in-law had a Sleep Number and when his wife passed away, he gave it to our family. So, I used it and it had gotten real old, so I got another one. I went with a Sleep Number because I could adjust it. I have a bad hip and I couldn't sleep through the night on my old bed because I sank in the middle and I kept landing on my hip. I tried boards and everything, but nothing worked. The sales professional was nice, and the delivery team was great. Our hallway was so narrow with two people in it at one time. But they worked and got the bed set up. It was the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time.

We've been through a lot of other beds before, and we should have bought a Sleep Number bed in the first place. We got a mattress from them. The sales reps were good here at Medford. The delivery team were professional and filled us in on how to use our bed. We're very happy with the Sleep Number product that we got. Overall, it was quick and easy with Sleep Number.

Found out can't return base w/ bed. No one at the store said this. They said you can return the bed within 100 days. You have false advertising and false sales presentation. You will get a lot more than $1100 I have to pay for base in bad publicity.

Nothing put problems since I got this bed. Their fix, send you foam to try and fix the issue with you rolling to the middle. Called them today and the same issue and losing air. Ask them to send out a service tech. Their answer was "we don't have service tech because the bed is easy to fix. But for 179.00 we can send someone out." Was told my warranty doesn't cover it. I would not recommend this bed or the company to anyone.

Adjustable bed serial# GA453070 - The leg portion of my SN bed won't lift correctly. It raises only 10% of its normal range. Additionally the massage on foot on/off portion of the remote doesn't work. Nothing happens when trying to turn on the foot massage using the remote control. Please help. I'm practically bedridden due to 5 spinal fusions that occurred from a farm accident that crushed me. I really depend on my bed and the remote that finely adjust my sleep options. My husband and I have different preferences in bed type, so we tried Sleep Number. It's a lot more comfortable, and it's nice how we could each have our own settings so that we're both satisfied with our part of the bed. The sales rep was very personable. He arrived towards the end of the night and stayed late to finish everything up, so we can make the purchase that evening. The delivery team was quick and we had no problems. We've been happy with the purchase and have also gotten some pillows and sheets. We really liked all of their products, and don't regret anything we've bought.

We've had a Sleep Number bed for about 23 years and we liked it but we needed to upgrade a little bit after those number of years. Our old bed had a lot of padding on the top and a little bit more softness on the surface made a difference in my wife's health condition. We got a queen-sized mattress and their sales rep was like a Boy Scout - helpful, courteous, kind, obedient, and reverent.

I bought a Sleep Number to have two different levels of firmness on the mattress. Everything was good with the sales rep and the delivery team, and I've been happy with the quality of my Sleep Number.

My husband has a lot of back problems so we were hoping that the Sleep Number would help him with it. It's a good bed but my husband has days where he likes it, and there are days that he doesn't. Also, the bed is not making his back problems worse but it's not making it better either. We could have looked into it a little bit more. Other than that, the Sleep Number guy, he was awesome. I was not sure if I wanted to buy or not and he swayed me and helped with the experience. He gave us a lot of examples on how the bed could feel.

The difference in preferences in sleeping between my wife and myself led us to buy a Sleep Number mattress. She likes it soft while I like it hard. The bed is good but it's not everything that it's cranked up to be. It's basically an inflatable mattress surrounded by foam so I understood what it is and how it worked. But I wasn't particularly interested in all the sales garbage that went with it. I do a lot of my shopping investigation online before I make a purchase so I'd sort of looked into it and I went with Sleep Number because I felt that they were a better after-sales service organization than some of the newer competitors that are out there.
But the Sleep Number is an overpriced inflatable bed. It's very expensive and for the amount I paid I expected the installers to be more professional. There were two guys who sort of unpacked it all from boxes and put it all together because the mattress came in parts. It didn't come assembled. I expected them to deliver it with a white-glove type of service where they would deliver it and say, "Get on it and this is how it works and blah, blah, blah." But it wasn't like that at all. From a quality perspective, what we had to do to make the bed comfortable for us was to buy a three-inch topper from IKEA which wasn't cheap. I sleep like a baby on it thanks to the IKEA topper. But the bed has its faults. Its sides collapsed so the foam that runs along the sides went out of shape.

Sorry you aren't getting the comfortable night sleep you were hoping for, Shaun. Our beds are much more sophisticated and intricate than just a regular blow-up mattress. There's a lot of technology and consumer insight that goes into making our beds. We got a mattress from Sleep Number because we liked the different hardness of their mattress. Overall, we're very pleased with Sleep Number and had no problems at all with them. They were very helpful. We wanted to use the box spring that we already had, and that was fine with them. We had visited the store a couple of years ago, but we were put off then by a different salesman. But we had a good salesman this time. Likewise, it was fine with the delivery team. They set up the bed. We're very pleased with the general quality of the product that we got.

I like the Sleep Number bed, the purchase, and the store, but the delivery was horrible. The salespeople were awesome, answered all my questions, and made good suggestions. They tried to bundle packages so that it would be cheaper and I ended up paying the same amount and getting a pillow as part of that. I've never spent that much on a bed in my life, though. Still, it was excellent customer service. We got the Sleep Number because my husband has bad back and neck issues so he wanted something that could better support him and that could lift him up if he needed to. He also likes the massage feature. The quality of the bed is good.
We put on our little request that we wanted to keep our old bed, but the delivery team ended up taking the old bed during delivery. We had a roommate there but he was just there for the bed and didn’t know what was going on. When we called Sleep Number, they said that we couldn’t get our old bed back because it was already in a dumpster or whatever it is that they do with it. I called twice to try and get a refund for it and they said they would, but nobody ever got back to me. It was a $1,800 bed when I bought it originally and we wanted to keep it for a spare bedroom. At any rate, everything else was good.

I tested one of the Sleep Number beds when they had their store at the mall and it's phenomenal so I ordered one online. It's the best bed I ever owned. I wanted to buy two more beds: one for my son and one for my parents. I'm so happy with the product but I spent nearly $7,000 which is expensive for a mattress. A customer that spends that type of money needs to be taken care of and respected.
However, the interactions with the sales rep were awful. First, I took my parents to my local store for them to also look at the bed for them. My father is 77 years old and has been diagnosed with lung cancer. I want him to have the best and most comfortable sleep he ever had. They were going to spend nearly $20,000 that night but the salesman was disrespectful and rude that I changed my mind of buying a bed and other products from them for good. He made fun of my father's language and when my dad asked him for water, he gave us a bottle of water and said, "Don't worry about it. It's free. You could enjoy it." This guy was such a low-class, I have no idea why that company wants to have those type of representatives. They are not the only one in the market.
I even left a complaint with the manager at the store to call me back but they didn't. I'm sure they get numbers from where all their purchases come from. So, they should see that they have a customer who came and initiated a purchase from their store, and then ended up ordering online. That should give the management a reason to call me to find out why I never came back to the store to complete my transaction and I started all over and ordered a bed. But I guess they don't care and they just lost a customer for life.

I previously owned a Sleep Number and recently I purchased the mattress, base, an i8 and bedding, too. The sales rep showed me the various products and we talked about what I was interested in because I wanted to upgrade my system. We also looked at the various sheet sets that fit those. Their reps were really knowledgeable and very courteous. I was in there twice and talked to two different people and they were great both times.
The delivery team was really good, as well. They took out the old stuff and put in the new stuff and did it in a timely manner. I did have to reschedule several times, but that was on me, not on them. I really like the product and the functionality that Sleep Number provides. The ability to adjust the bed as needed for me is critical because I sometimes have back issues. And being able to tune it on a regular basis is pretty important. I’m very happy with Sleep Number. I recommend them all the time.

This is my first Sleep Number purchase and it will be my last. I thought it was an inexpensively priced bed for the quality. We got the whole base but it didn't come with any legs, and that's my biggest complaint. I'm 6'4", 225 pounds, and I have to kneel down on an eight-inch base to get into bed. I bought an oversized air mattress that sits on the floor. Once I pressure down on the bed, I'm rolling out of it at about eight inches. I had to pay an additional $200 to buy legs for the base. I never would have bought it had I known that. Also, the sales professionals were polite but not very forthcoming. They didn't tell me I needed the legs on this bed. The last person I talked to said, "You could just go to the thrift store and get a metal frame from the thrift store for a bed."
Putting the bed together was easy. We did it ourselves. The bed's not bad but the sales gimmick that goes along with it is. The things that went along or didn't go along with the bed irritated me. They didn't say anything that I need to have or at least they included the little plastic legs that go on the bed for lesser price, or for no price at all would be a really good idea.

When we were in the market for a new bed, we went into the store in Roanoke and decided that Sleep Number was the bed that we wanted. The sales reps were very nice and answered our questions. The delivery was also very good. The guys came in, put the bed together for us, and took our old mattress. And we were very happy with the whole process since we didn’t have to worry about disposing of the old mattress. We’re very happy with the bed and it’s very comfortable. If we need to buy another bed down the road, we probably would buy another Sleep Number. I would recommend the bed to friends.

I bought a Sleep Number bed in April, and at that time, I thought the platform bed would be enough and I wouldn't need the box spring. A month into it, I decided I really want the box spring. So, I went back and tried to buy it without having to pay an entire full price. I had the mattress on sale, so I'm sure they're going to give me a break and they wouldn't. This is the third bed I bought from them. I was very unhappy, and I tried talking to a couple of managers at stores here and it didn't do me any good. I was looking for any kind of a sale price and they wouldn't budge. So, that's the last bed I'm going to buy from them.
Their service sucks. We bought three really nice beds from them, and the money that we spent on these beds isn't cheap. So, they definitely need to do something in the way of being more client conscious. It wasn't a good experience with the shipping either because the boxes didn't stay together like they were a week apart.

I got tired of going through a bunch of other beds and my parents have had Select Number for many years. It was cheaper for them to get the replacement foam to go around the air bladders, and they continued to buy new beds every few years. The Sleep Number sales reps spent a lot of time showing us the different models and explaining the differences. We bought a mattress and scheduled it to be delivered. The delivery guys showed us how to set up the bed and got it all plugged in. They positioned it in the right area and moved off the old bed. It was quick and easy. We might end up having to switch out the topper for a memory foam topper instead of just the regular for the iLE. Other than that, I don’t have any negative comments.

We've had Sleep Number products for a year now and we’re very happy with the quality. I just purchased the c2 and prior to that was two up from that one. We know which bed we want that we thought we knew in the first purchase. The rep helped us go through the different options of what would best suit us, so we had a great experience out there. The rep I dealt with the first time was Seth and he was very professional and very helpful. That’s why we went back and we knew exactly what we want for the second one. The first time I had home delivery, the guys were very nice, came in here and got the job done pretty quick. They explained a lot of things to me and then they were on their way. They were very professional and courteous. As for the second one, I have UPS coming out and has not quite gotten to us yet. We are anxious to see what happens in about 20 years when we need to replace some parts and how the warranty works or not.

My Sleep Number bed is great. There’s no need to buy the big, expensive ones, the C2 with the two-inch memory foam cushion, and it works great. The Sleep Number store was great, too. The finance company sucks, though. They hound me. If I am a day late, they’re calling on the phone. Other than that, I love my experience with Sleep Number.

We needed a bed where we need it to be able to adjust the firmness of it. My wife and I have different needs and the Sleep Number worked out great. The sales representatives at Sleep Number let us try the mattress out and showed us how it worked. They also told us how long it'd be to get it, and it showed up on time. We scheduled for home delivery and I put it together myself which was really easy. The instructions were very simple. We're happy users of the product. The quality is great and we love it.

I bought a Sleep Number and ended up giving it to my son, so he can get a better night's sleep. I bought another one for myself, and the sales reps were awesome. One was very friendly and basically found out what my needs were, then she steered me towards what was available. I had a c4 before and bought the same one again. I knew what I wanted, but I let the rep say her spiel and it was good.
The bed seems to be fully functional. However, on Sleep Number's TV commercials, they show a split bed that looks to be a queen size. When I bought mine with the top part rising up, I assumed it was split for each individual, but it wasn't, and that was a disappointment. Sleep Number designed a bed with two different comfort zones for each side, having sleep numbers for one part of the bed and sleep numbers for the other, and the adjustable part for the head should be the same. That would be the only improvement I could see done to the bed. Other than that, I have recommended Sleep Number to several people, and they say it's too expensive, but I brag about the quality. I get about six hours of sleep a night, and those hours seem like I'm getting about eight.

I didn't know what we wanted, what the price ranges were or what features were available, so the Sleep Number sales reps walked us through everything, told us about the benefits of each model and let us make our choice after that. The delivery guys were pretty professional and got it done quickly. I didn't have any problems when they went a bit beyond because they installed the bed in our old bed frame. I like its adjustability and that as we get older and change ourselves, it changes with us. I like it and I'd definitely buy one again.

I want to make this review as objective and informational as possible while, at the same time, expressing our frustration with our new bed (Flex Top King i8--split design). My wife is 63 and has had two prior back surgeries, so we opted for the Sleep Number bed to avoid back pain (we previously had a Tempur Pedic and had no issues). We were basically "trading up" at the end of the life of our old mattress. Keep in mind that SN allows a return within the first 100 days, but the return is limited to the mattress--so we were watching our time in case we didn't like it. We had no issues for roughly the first two months and then my wife started having major back pain that kept her awake at night. She is a teacher and needs a good night's sleep, so this was a major problem for us.
We tried different settings and tested each one for 2-3 days, but the pain persisted. So, eventually we called customer service, and the tech suggested either a topper or a chamber lift. Based on the prior surgeries and history with Tempur Pedic, the tech suggested a chamber lift. In fairness, we were not charged for the chamber lift, but we had to install it---which was very difficult. Yesterday I had to make three calls to customer service before I could get the lift installed. Basically, it involves unzipping the entire top of the mattress, lifting up the air chamber, and sliding in the chamber lift. Then, as you might imagine, zipping the cover back up was incredibly tough---until tech #3 (Wanda) told us to deflate the air chamber (Mike and Doreen never mentioned that), which helped immensely.
So... the chamber lift didn't seem to help. Now we have a tough call to make. Our 100 days will be up in about two weeks. Sending the bed back will mean we lose several thousand dollars because you can only send back the mattress AND you pay shipping (read the fine print---I'm a lawyer). So, are we prepared to lose that kind of money AND still need a new mattress? I suspect the company would send us a topper if I asked, but shipping takes 3 days and the wife goes back to work in two days---meaning if it doesn't work, she'll be losing sleep and struggling at work. So, I suspect we'll shop around for a topper today and try it out. But I trust everyone can see the irony in this---if we need a topper on the new bed, we'd probably have been better off to get another Tempur Pedic, don't you think? Or perhaps just use a topper on the old mattress.
I've been generally satisfied with my half of the bed, but finding the right number is not easy. I'm still experimenting. I've had low back pain from the mattress until I softened up the setting. I also had shoulder and hip pain from arthritis, but the pain seems to have gone away with a softer setting. Lastly, I got different advice from the 4 customer service reps I dealt with. The first one said we'd be given detailed instructions for installing the lift----false. The instruction are out of date and inaccurate. The other three reps gave me different advice--Mike said we could just unzip one side. False.
I had a ** of a time rezipping the top until Wanda told me to deflate the air chamber (which I should have thought of myself). I'm in my 60's. Installing a lift is for the young, especially with the split bed and the need to zip around the split, which is tough. Then, after all is said and done, I read that the cheaper models are better for back pain than the high end model. I wish we had known that from the start. I hope this information helps other prospective purchasers.

We needed a new mattress because my wife's back is bad and she's pregnant. I tried Sleep Number first and nothing else compared to it after that. It's a heck of a bed. The sales professionals were helpful. They wanted to sell the bed and they made that easy for us. They weren't pushy. They were confident, they knew they had a good product and that we weren't going to find any better. They really got us a good product. We got the bed and the base. We had it dropped off then we set it up ourselves and that was not difficult. I'm glad we did it and saved the $100 of what-have-you for having home set-up.

We've had a Sleep Number in the past for about 15 years. We then had a different replacement mattress but recently we decided to go back to Sleep Number. This second time, we already knew what we were going into so we were much on our own but the sales associate was good at describing the product. I like the new mattress. Kudos to Sleep Number because in the past, without a Sleep Number, going to sleep was not one of my strong points but now I'm usually asleep within five minutes of going to bed so it's really good with that. I told my husband last night that I'm not really tired but then suddenly I'm snoring so he laughs at me.

I had a Sleep Number for six years until I got divorced and then it went and disappeared. So, I got another one and had a good experience buying the bed. However, I'm not real happy with it. It's a queen and seems like the mattress is lopsided, the air is more to the center, and the edges are rolling. I can roll out of bed really easy. I wanted to get down and talk to the salesman about it one of these days when I get to the city and see if they can have somebody come and look at it. I don't know if there's anything they can do or if it's just me. But then the delivery team installed it for me and they were pretty good. They showed up late with what since they had installed four beds that day and they had a long day. Overall I like Sleep Number bed and I sleep well on it. My back problems went away after 30 days of using the Sleep Number.

We had a Select Comfort bed for 19 years prior to getting our Sleep Number bed. This was our second Select Comfort bed and we were happy with it, and it was in good condition. But we wanted to switch from a queen to a king size, so we got the base and the mattress from Sleep Number. The delivery team came to our home and set the bed up and were professional. We've had our Sleep Number bed since April, and I'd recommend it. The overall concept of the bed is good and I like the adjustable feature the most.
However, we had to have a part of the bed replaced because we got a split top bed and it was split too far, and wouldn't hold the shape correctly. We had lots of phone calls to Sleep Number regarding that issue for several months. The sales reps were all very helpful and tried to work with us to get that problem resolved. The bed has short teeth which function like a hook mechanism that holds the mattress to the base, so that the base and the mattress stay together. A set of these teeth needs to be put higher up on the bed to keep that split problem from happening. There was a 12-inch gap between the two sides at the split top, and pillows and the dog would fall in there, and sometimes we'd roll over a little bit too much, and one of us would end up in there, too. The Sleep Number guys came out finally and replaced a couple of the components, and the bed is much better now.
There are some things that I wish for the split top: First, I wish that it was split all the way. As it is now, when the bottom part is raised up on one side, it's got to rise up on both sides at the same time at the same level. Rather than only the top part having the adjustable feature, it would be nice if the bottom part would have that feature, too so that I can lie with my feet up when I want to and my husband doesn't. He doesn’t like his feet up, so I can't do that when he’s in bed. Second, I wish there were sheets for the split top available through other companies so there'd be more competition with the pricing because these custom sheets are very expensive, but if regular king sheets are used then the split feature wouldn't be accessible.

We went out mattress shopping and got a Sleep Number thinking it would be an improvement to what we had. We had a great interaction with the sales rep. The bed was sent through UPS to our home and we put it up ourselves. We've had it for a few months now and it's not a whole lot different compared to the bed we had before. We already got rid of the other bed so we're using it even though it wasn’t what we thought it was going to be. The bed is comfortable and we also added a topper for it. But the main thing I don't like about it is that the center of the bed has a hard spot, a feeling like there's a two by four in the middle of the two sides. It’s a bit of a disappointment. Someone had already called and asked us about that and evidently there’s something we can buy to somewhat remedy that. Still, I'd probably tell somebody to not bother with a Sleep Number bed. To me, it's just a wear and tear mattress.

We've had Sleep Number products in our home for four years. In our recent purchase with Sleep Number, we bought the bed with the tilt mechanism. It was a very good experience with the sales reps and the delivery and setup was done on time. The delivery team provided so much help and I have no complaints. We had danced around a long time about replacing the bed that we previously had. When we finally did it, we bought the mattress and the base from Sleep Number because our younger son recommended them. In fact, he has two Sleep Number beds. The manager of the store was the one that sold us the bed and we liked him a whole lot. Our Sleep Number purchase was sent through UPS. We unpacked it and set it up, and that was easy to do, except for the interference from the family dogs. My husband and I are both loving the Sleep Number bed that we got. Its quality is very good. We haven't had any problems with it at all.

I had another bed from Sleep Number and I was pleased with it so I got another one. Their sales rep was very good. He was concerned about what our needs were and met our needs according to the products that he had available. He worked with us. The delivery also went well. They instructed us a little bit on how to use the bed after they had it installed and answered any questions that we had. I would highly recommend them. The bed is a great investment and getting it from the store to our home was a good experience.

I've had trouble with my back since I was in my early 20's. I've had used different beds while my back changes along with my aging. And then one time, the hotel that I stayed at in Washington had a Sleep Number. I put it on the firmest setting and in the middle of the night my back started to ache. I changed the setting down to a softer one and that took care of the problem. I thought I needed that bed so I went home and bought one. The best thing about it is when I feel a little bit uncomfortable, I change it during the middle of the night. As it moves and everything, it helps my back that it's almost like a massage.
Then two years later, I stayed at that hotel in Washington, D.C. so my buddy could see the bed because he said he had been having trouble sleeping with his back. As soon as he slept on it, he went right home and bought one. He got the one where the head and feet can be raised. I waited for three years and then I bought one of those too. My wife was crazy about it and I like it too. It took care of my acid reflux.
But I have to change the number on it a lot now because I got heavier. I started at 200 pounds when I first got the bed, and now I'm up to 290 because of my lifestyle and the medicine I'm taking. Also, I don't move around a lot because my back hurts when I'm standing up. Then because of me getting heavier I found that the right side of the bed doesn't pump up as much as the left side, so the left side is higher. I'm starting to slide down to the right during the night and it's annoying. Despite that, I have recommended the bed. If I had a regular mattress I'd probably be miserable right now.

After we did the internet research, we went into the Sleep Number store. We tested out the beds on the floor then made our purchase. We love it and we're impressed so we went back and bought pillows too. We had different salespeople both times and they were all great. The delivery team was also fantastic. They even removed the old bed that we had and took care of that for us. All the reps were professional, courteous, welcoming and made me feel important.

I can set the Sleep Number bed to what I want and make it come up if I want to watch and I wanna sit up a little bit when I like it. Sometimes I put the lamp on and when I fall asleep, I'd cut it off if I don't want it on. I decided to pay so much a month with my credit card and I sent payments faithfully every month. But I didn't get my bill one month and I was charged interest which I was a little unhappy because I never skipped a payment. They didn't send it to me and I never got it. I called and told them about it but they still charged me. I'm thinking about just paying cash later on and finish with that because I was a little disappointed in that. Other than that, I like my bed. The sales reps were very nice as well.

A relative recommended Sleep Number and I was fine with the people who sold it to me. However, it was very difficult to get a time for the set up. We had a schedule but they canceled and I didn't get an answer that day. I bought it in October and it's only now in December before they came out and set it up. It was about six weeks before I got my bed and I was very disappointed. I like the bed though. We bought a second one which has a different number and has a better quality, too. Mine looks like it's sagging. Nevertheless, I'm satisfied and I'd never go to another bed other than a Sleep Number.

We got a mattress from Sleep Number to replace our Tempur-Pedic that got old. Their sales and the delivery teams were great. They were friendly and able to answer all of my questions. We’re happy with the bed but not happy the mattress is separating the people. I don’t like sleeping in the middle of my bed. We had two Tempur-Pedic mattresses that went up and down just like this one and there’s a big seam between the two beds. With Sleep Number, we keep pushing the mattresses together and it's not as seamless as Tempurpedic.

My parents had a Sleep Number and I was using it but my dad took the mattress back from me because his back got way too messed up. I used a regular mattress and then I got all messed up too so I had to get my own Sleep Number. Their sales rep explained everything, answered all my questions, and everything was all good. All in all, my experience with Sleep Number is magical.

My old bed hurt my back so I needed a new bed. I went in the store, tried the Sleep Number, and I loved it. I tried a whole bunch of things at the store and the salesperson picked my number after asking about the most comfortable setting for me. He was very knowledgeable and it was a good service. I purchased one of the most popular brands but not the most expensive one. It was the middle kind. I got the regular base with the mattress on top and two cool pillows. I scheduled a setup and the delivery team got the bed in pretty quickly, set up everything, showed me all the different stuff I can do and showed me the apps. I love the bed and it's one of my favorite purchases. I've spent a lot of money on it, but it's definitely worth it.

My husband and I needed a new bed. We had our old Sleep Number bed, which we both really liked, so we purchased from them again. This time, we bought the mattress and the base. The sales person at Sleep Number was really nice. She went over everything and was very knowledgeable. Overall, we're very happy with our bed though I don't get the IQ very often, but it could be because of our internet on that side of the house. My husband says he's not sleeping very long. He easily falls asleep at night and doesn't sleep through the night, but he just has to quit taking naps and then he'll sleep better.

The salespeople were very knowledgeable, listened to what we needed, showed us what we needed and didn't try and go overboard which was great. The delivery experience was also very good. I'm enjoying the bed and it's a good quality.

We slept on a Sleep Number in a hotel that we stayed in in Florida once and we really liked it. We went to a Sleep Number store a couple of times and their sales people were always really helpful. After sleeping on it, it's not quite as nice as I hoped it will be. I'm slightly disappointed but the bed is nice.

In an attempt to have my back feel better, I bought two mattresses, some bedding and two bases from Sleep Number. They had a very friendly and informative sales rep. The products have very good quality. The only thing is that our salesperson at the store had asked us if anybody had referred us. My mom gave the salesperson the name of the lady who did and the salesperson said she was going to get a $100 referral certificate but she never got it. Besides that, we had a very smooth process with Sleep Number.

We bought a new house and needed a new mattress. We were looking for a mattress where the head part can go up and down. We decided to purchase from Sleep Number and got a mattress, the base, pillows, and then some bedding. We had great interactions with their salespeople and we didn't have any problems with the delivery team.
We bought two beds and they come in two separate bases and two separate mattresses. The top part of the mattress slightly goes apart and we have big enough hole between two mattresses which is very, very inconvenient. We can’t fix it anyhow so I’m trying to call and ask someone who will probably explain to me how to fix it. I've even stopped by the store. I was given some numbers so I'll call because it's impossible to fix and the two mattresses need to be switched around and we are not able to do that without somebody’s help. I feel terrible about the products and we don't like it. It's not even a smart ratio between the price and the quality. I would probably prefer not to buy anything from them. I could buy three different good quality mattresses for the $7,000 we paid.

My husband had a very old bed that he had for many years before we even got together and it was so hard that he had to run over it with a car. What he ended up with was having a giant divot in the middle of the bed which he thought made it softer. When we were both sleeping on the bed, he would go straight into the middle and I would be hanging off the side. We got our Sleep Number bed almost a year ago and we like it very much. The sales reps helped us find our Sleep Number and they were really nice. It's a great bed and we're really happy that we got it.

I owned a Sleep Number before and have had their products in our home for 20 years. The most recent purchase we made is the adjustable twin bed system with a reverse base. My wife laid on it at the store and said she liked it so we bought it. The sales guy was pleasant but he didn’t really have to do a whole lot because we knew what we were after. He helped us in billings and was a good sales guy. He was very informative and knowledgeable of the products.
Because I bought the reversible base, we had to pay them to come and set up the bed and it was a huge pain. It took about a month for them to get a rep come to do it because we live in the middle of nowhere in Northeastern Montana and where I bought the bed is 300 miles away. I asked if I could just drop-ship the bed to me. I studied mechanical engineering and I told them I could probably figure out how to put a bed frame together and they said no. I had to pay $180 and had two kids that didn’t really know much come and do it. At any rate, I just spent almost $7,000 on a bed so I like Sleep Number. I love the bed and the adjustable frame.

We have a Sleep Number bed and we just needed to change the mattress. We had the Split King mattress for five years and wanted to go to one that was one piece. I love the Sleep Number product, that we got that's why we bought a second. Their sales rep did an excellent job. I had UPS deliver the sheets and bed that we ordered, and the delivery team was great. I've never had any problems, and we'll keep going back to them.

I broke my pelvis in three different places and haven’t healed completely. A regular bed was too hard for me and my husband has some back issues too so we decided to get a Sleep Number bed because we wanted to be able to adjust it to fit us on different days on how we could deal with the different levels of our pain. The salespeople were nice and polite. They seemed very professional and tried to answer all of our questions. We got a California King bed where the top is a split where it raises up and it also raises at the bottom. The bottom is combined.
So far, everything is good. The bed has helped my pelvis out quite a bit and I don’t wake up in pain every morning like I used to. The only problem is that it makes a funny noise now when we raise the bed, especially the foot of the bed. We have a wooden frame and it could be rubbing up against the frame of the bed. I don't know what's making the noise but I haven't called customer service yet. Other than that, I'm very happy with the product.

A couple of people I know already had Sleep Number beds. They all seem to love it which peaked my interest with it. The sales person was really cool, mellow and not pushy, and that's what actually helped drive the sale. I bought a basic base and a mattress and scheduled it to be delivered to my home. I'm very satisfied with it. Some days it's nice to set the bed a little bit stiffer when my back is giving me some crap. Then I can mellow it out. Overall, my experience was very pleasant and continues to be.

I got my first Sleep Number back in 2000 and we've had the second one for a year. I've had experience with a lot of different kinds of beds for people with bed sores and I was convinced of the Sleep Number's description of how it works. The interaction with their sales reps was beautifully done. The sales guys weren't pushy and the delivery crew for my recent purchase were fine and put the bed together. Before the Sleep Number came out I used to use a waterbed, so whenever I traveled and I ended up in a hotel, I was in pain. When I stopped using the waterbed I had to get something, and the only thing available at the time was a very early version of a memory foam which didn’t work. Then I ended up using an airbed for a while. Finally, I heard about the Sleep Number, so I ordered one and it works very well for me. On my 2nd purchase, I didn’t buy the platform and just replaced the mattress with a new one that was on sale and it worked out well. They sent it via UPS and I know exactly how to put it together. I have had two Sleep Number beds over the years, and for someone with back problems it really helps. I can adjust it to wherever I feel that day and I could sleep most of the night without having to wake up to the point where on a regular bed I wouldn’t even be able to move. It's been very comfortable so I’m quite satisfied with it.

I needed a new bed so I decided I'd give Sleep Number a try. I bought one in March of last year. The sales rep was very nice, professional, and not pushy. The delivery team was very professional as well. I'm not pleased with the bed, though. The bed I had before had a dip in it and within three months, my Sleep Number has a dip in it, too, and it's the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on.

Went into the store to buy a couple of pillows using the 'buy one, get one half off sale'. I was thinking I wanted to get the king sized pillows but was told that they did not stock them in the store and I would probably not get them before the holidays if I had them shipped to me. I was told that if I bought the standard pillows and decided that I wanted the king size instead I would have 30 days to exchange them. After Christmas, I decided to return one of the pillows for a king size and was told that they could not charge me the difference on the first pillow and still give me the half off of the second pillow in the computer in the store but that they could do it if they contacted customer service themselves to work that out.
Evidently, they did/could not do this and I was charged full price for the king sized pillow and credited back half of the total cost of the first 2 pillows purchased ($71.54 including sales tax) instead of the full amount ($95.39). As of today (12/30/16) the sale is still on. I probably could return the pillows for cash or store credit and buy the pillows I want for the correct amount except that I am still waiting for the second pillow shipment to arrive. I'm not sure what the problem is but I'm extremely unhappy with the way this has been handled. It's not a complicated transaction...

I had a Sleep Number mattress and I decided to go up a level in quality. The delivery team did a good job. However, I told them that I was taking my old mattress to Florida because I bought a townhouse there. And I don't think they really knew what they were doing on that aspect. They put it in three big boxes which would've never fit in my minivan so I had to pull everything out myself and put everything back together. They could've done a little bit better on that. I have arthritis in my hands so anything to do with my hands is a pain. But I got it together. My brother came over, we put a couple of bungee cords around it and we got it in the van, and it's now in Florida. The mattress itself is marvelous. The sales rep kind of pushed me to get the pillow thing but other than that, I love Sleep Number. I recommend them to anybody.

We wanted a new bed. It was between Sleep Number or Tempur-Pedic, but we got the Sleep Number due to the reviews overall and the big reason was because we could change the numbers. We got the mattress and the temperature sheets. We also bought a pad for it and pillowcases, too. Their reps were super friendly and fast at it, too. The delivery people were careful and even took time to make sure that I knew how it went together and went apart. So that way, when I'd move, it'd be good. So they were fantastic. We absolutely love the bed's quality. We're super happy we went with Sleep Number.

My wife has been wanting a Sleep Number bed for years, so we got it. We bought the C2 mattress. We encountered a saleslady up in Virginia Beach, and although we bought the bed in Florida, we bought it through her because we liked her so well. She cared and was such a helpful person. She knew that we didn't live in Virginia Beach, but I was able to buy the bed through her anyhow.
The delivery team then brought the bed to us in a package, and my wife and I had to put it together, but that was easy to do. We were in our motor home at the time and we put the bed in it. Then, when we bought another house in Florida and moved here from Texas, we transferred the bed through our foundation. So far, there's been no problem with the bed. My wife was worried about sitting on the edge of it, like it might break down, but so far it's been holding up good and works fine. We're enjoying it and we're happy with it. Overall, it was fine experience with Sleep Number. That's why we have recommended them.

The mattress that my fiance and I had threw a spring so we were in need of a new one. We happened to be at the mall and Sleep Number had a giant store base there so we went in, talked with a couple of sales associates and ended up being convinced to buy the product. The sales guy that we dealt with was very honest with us from jump street because we said we weren't sure what the Sleep Number was. And he told us flat out that his goal was to sell the Sleep Number because that's their job but he wasn't going to try to sell us something that we didn't want. He just walked us through the entire process and told us that if we like it, that's great. But if we end up walking away saying it's not what we're looking for then we're not going to hurt anybody's feelings. He also told us not to feel pressured to buy anything.
I have a lower back problem which flares up from time to time with different types of mattresses and I have not had a back problem since sleeping on a Sleep Number. Also, I recently had a knee surgery for a torn ACL and throughout the process of my recovery, I've been able to adjust the bed as needed to fit the needs of my knees and my lower leg. It was a very positive and fantastic experience and we've recommended Sleep Number to our families, friends and pretty much anybody else that is in the market for a new mattress. I would go, not only to Sleep Number again, but to the store that we originally purchased the bed from because the staff and the product were great. It's something that after using it for about six months my fiance and I both definitely believe in.

I got a Sleep Number bed because I thought it would offer me the most help for difficulties that I was having. I got a mattress and a base. I had a lot of interaction with the sales reps until I was convinced that was the right thing to do. The delivery team were very fast and efficient. The Sleep Number product that I got is okay overall. However, I'm a little disappointed in how quickly it sank on one side. I sit on the side of the bed a lot and I feel that it didn't stay firm. I had spring mattresses my whole life. But because of my back, I was looking for more comfort, so I decided to try Sleep Number. Everything else they had was two channels, two different Sleep Numbers. I also sleep by myself, so I needed a full-size bed and so they had to custom-make the mattress I needed. I got the base, the mattress, the pillows, and a layer that has like a cooling effect to it.
The product's quality is high. However, I'm not really all that all-fired happy about it because I'm a big guy and when I lie in the bed, a channel forms between the two air chambers. Even if I have it set to 100, which is basically rock hard, I can't sleep on it because of my bad back. So I have it set to about 85 because if I have it set any lower where I'd be more comfortable, I'd end up being folded up like a taco, and that produces a great amount of heat, so that's no fun. It isn't uniformly firm all the way across and it's just the way it's constructed. I like it but I would never buy another one. For the amount of money I spent for the Sleep Number, I could’ve gotten a far better one like Euro top or pillow top mattress that would've been a lot more comfortable.

Sleep Number has a cool salesperson. He was not pushy at all. Their delivery team didn't say much as they just unwrapped the bed and left. I've had the bed for more than six months and it has not really helped. I have a very bad back, so I’m very picky with beds.

I did some research and also knew some people who had Sleep Number beds and liked them so we thought of trying it. The bed sleeps good but there’s something not quite right with it yet on the edge where it is flattening.

My husband and I both were having some aches and pains. We got the king-split and the base where the head lifts from Sleep Number. Their sales rep was courteous. However, I had one issue. When we were at the store, something was up with the computer systems so she wasn't able to print out an invoice at that time and that was emailed to me. But she put a set of sheets on there without telling me. We did not discuss sheets and I didn't realize that with our bed, we would have to buy special sheets so our bill was a couple of hundred dollars more than what we had anticipated and the bed was already expensive enough to us. But we love the product and it is great. The guys that came in and set it up were awesome and informative on the remotes.

My hips and butt bother me a lot and I have tried everything else to find something that could give me any kind of comfort. My son's wife got a Sleep Number and my son has a lot of the same kind of physical aches and pain stuff that I have. He said to me that it was the first time that he had a solid night's sleep in years. I got one too and it took me about a month to find a good place. I had to adjust my setting about two weeks ago and it helped. On the other hand, the top part of the mattress can use more padding because it's very hard to me so I have like the old foam mattress, only the gel one. I put that on top of the mattress. Other than that, I'm happy with my bed and it's one of the best purchases I've made for a long time.

I've had Sleep Number for a long time. The last bed I got was my fourth bed with them. I like the bed. It's just that I can't flip it and it gets warped when a single person is sleeping on it. It gets saggy at one spot regardless of what I do. So that's aggravating.

I hated my Tempur-Pedic and I wanted to try something different. I went to the library and I got a Consumer Reports Magazine and Sleep Number was rated pretty highly. So that gave me the idea for the bed. Their sales reps were very pleasant. However, the bed was pretty cheesy. It felt like I was sleeping on an air mattress and I wasn't impressed at all with the quality. They took it back without a problem. They were fine to talk to and were a good company on that level. I wasn't comfortable on the bed, but the company itself seemed very reputable.

Extremely disappointed on the policy and lack of customer service with this company. We invested in a lot of money in our beds only to have it to be flawed with the split bed version. Now Sleep Number will not back up their product and what we were promised. I do NOT recommend the split version. My wife and I both have a different idea of how firm we want the mattress. She wants hers as soft as possible and I want mine a hard mattress. We have the split bed from Sleep Number. I sleep with mine propped up slightly and my wife sleeps with it flat. Now we can both have what we like for better sleeping. We're happy with their sales professionals, they are very nice, courteous and helpful. We live out in the country and the delivery guys it was delivered to our home and set it up for us. We needed adjustable beds because we’re getting old and we purchased with Sleep Number because of the convenience. We went to two stores and customer service was very iffy. It was on both ends of the spectrum. The first store was in a mall and only had a few mattresses. The sales rep there was very busy and not super interested in helping or calling other stores to see if they had the mattresses we could try out. We did that part on our own and then went to another store where we had a completely different experience. The store was nice, bright, good, had everything, and had very helpful reps.
There were things that were suggested to us differently and we ended with a bed close to what we wanted. We got a mattress and a base and had to get the bedding because the bed is split and only their brand of sheets fit. The bed was delivered and the delivery team was on time, clean, set it all up, very quick, and very efficient. They ran through everything, made sure it all worked, and they were probably in and out within an hour. So far, the quality is good. We’re happy with what we got even though it's a little overpriced.

I bought a Sleep Number since I thought I was buying it because of the convenience and it's a good product. Sleep Number's saleslady was a nice person. Also, the delivery people set up the bed for me and they were nice guys. But whatever Sleep Number used on the mattress cover had me itching like fiberglass on me. I started itching every time I got near it and I can't sleep on the mattress. The bed is a good product but they got to find out the materials they use in the mattress. It looks like polyester and I'm allergic to it and I can't be anywhere near it.

I’ve been looking at Sleep Number for some time. And at the time, my wife had slipped on some ice and broke some ribs. We went into the Sleep Number store and were checking them out. We were lying on it and the sales guy was suggesting the pressure points. And I told her to roll over on that side where the broken ribs were. And she did and she said it doesn’t hurt. And at that point, we were sold. It has also helped me because I have arthritis in my lower back. We’ve had the bed now for four years. It’s a queen size and we love it. My mom also got the same bed, but when she downsized to the twin bed, we put the queen size she had into our motorhome.
We also had some friends that needed a Sleep Number bed because the guy had a back injury. And we got him the big king size Sleep Number, where the sides go up and down and they really love it. It’s helped a lot. The only problem they’ve had was it’s awfully hard to find the fitted sheets for that split bed. Sleep Number has sheets for their bed but they’re pricey. And they also don’t have very good ratings. Both my friend and I have tried to find third-party sources for it but it's hard to find them. Other than that, we haven’t had any problems at all. Sleep Number is a good bed.

We have 2 Sleep Number beds. We had one about a year and a half and then prior to that was eight years. Those beds were better. The ones we had before were cheap and they were breaking down. The first bed was installed by the Sleep Number installation team and they did it fine. We installed the second one ourselves since we knew how to do it.

I got tired of my old bed so I bought a Sleep Number. The sales reps showed me various types of beds and went through the pros and cons of each one. They were going to bring that bed but when they found out that I had the wrong kind of bed frame, I had to go purchase another one so I had to wait a whole month before they would come to put it together. But it's good that I could purchase it locally. They were well on time and went pretty swift on it. Every now and then, I adjust its hardness and every night, I sleep well on it. I would recommend it to anybody especially to people that have back trouble.

I just got sick of normal beds, waking up on a stiff back. Sleep Number was the best option for beds at the time. So I went to a Sleep Number store and the sales reps were great. I tried out their beds and went through their whole routine. I bought a king-size mattress, a couple of pillows and some bedding. The quality of their products is great. We wanted to change and we preferred different things when it comes to mattresses. With the Sleep Number, we can adjust the base. Aside from that, we also got one of the foam pillows and the bed itself. Everything was positive as far as their reps was concerned and the products are real good. But I wonder how come they don't let people use the massaging part of the bed on the phone since we can use our phone as a remote as well.

I was having trouble sleeping all night and thought it was time to change my old bed. I first bought a Casper mattress but I didn’t think that was any better than my old bed, so I gave it back. I've been watching the ads on TV, and I had a friend that had the Sleep Number and since they have a guarantee, I bought one and tried it out. It's better than what I had. I'm not a perfect sleeper yet but I'm satisfied with it. The sales rep was great, too. He gave me the service I needed. Although when the delivery team put the bed together, they weren't interested in my questions. They put them off to something else. For instance, I asked them, “Are you gonna put the sheets on?” They told me they would do it. But overall, I made a good deal for the price. And so I've already recommended it to a couple of friends and told them that it helped me.

We went to Sleep Number store just to see a mattress and then spent three hours in the store. They were taking care of every single detail and the sales rep that we talked to was amazing and took care of us. My husband is a military pilot. He has cramps in his back and really needs great attention with his back. My husband told the rep about the back problem he has, and the rep was telling me how to set the mattress and how to do everything. He was so good.
There's only one thing that I'm concerned about. We moved about one month ago. I was so worried about the moving as my husband doesn’t live here in Atlanta. He works in Alabama in a military base. Then I was by myself and nobody can move the bed. So I called the store here in Buckhead close to the house where I'm living right now. They're gonna charge me $360 to move the mattress. It's not nice because we paid almost $4,700 for everything we bought, the mattress, and the bedding, and pillows. It's a lot of money and they're gonna charge me $360 for moving the mattress when it's something really special. I said, “It's not really helpful. I'm not going to do that.” And I got some people to take care of it but it was a little complicated. I got into their website and learned how to move it. Other than that experience, the mattress is amazing and it's good for our backs. We love our Sleep Number.

We have Sleep Number mattresses with two separate sides. I purchased a Sleep Number several years ago and we liked it enough we decided to upgrade to a bigger bed. It's a good bed.

Our mattress was old and neither my husband nor I were getting good sleep on it. When we were shopping for a new bed, we quickly discovered that our needs for firmness were very different. So, we got the Sleep Number bed that allows him the softer mattress and me the firmer mattress. We got the whole set -- the base, the mattress, and the pillows -- but we did not get the pad, though.
The sales reps were very informative and patient because we didn't want to make a bad purchase. We dealt with a lady and a gentleman there, and they did not do any high-pressure selling. However, they wanted to do a lot of add-ons at the end, and I did not appreciate that. But I understand that's part of retail. We had home delivery and setup of our Sleep Number purchase. The delivery guys were timely on their arrival, came in quickly, got the delivery and setup done, got our old mattress out of there, and were gone in an appropriate amount of time.
My husband is finding our Sleep Number bed much more comfortable. I'm a very focal sleeper, and when I'm sleeping on my side, I need the bed softer, but when I'm sleeping on my back, I want it firmer, so I'm still trying to find the perfect setting for the bed. At this point in time that we've had our bed approaching a year now, we're very satisfied with it. So, we'll look at Sleep Number first when we're ready to purchase another bed.

The Sleep Number sales reps were great. They were helpful, showed the different types of mattresses, and allowed me to make a decision without pressuring me one way or the other. We also did the delivery because it was free and it went great, too. The only negative thing is sometimes the bed can get really warm.

Somebody that I know bought a Sleep Number bed and said that it was good. Then they happened to have a sale on so I bought two twins. I also bought pillows which I didn't like because they're too big. But the girlfriend liked them. Everything seems to be working well and I have recommended Sleep Number to a number of people. The only thing is at the time, I had to go to Sarasota and drive to get to the store but they got one closer now.

We purchased from Sleep Number due to their reputation. The sales rep ran us through everything, set us up on the computer bed, and got our base Sleep Number. She was a great salesperson. My wife said that the delivery people were very quick. All in all, it's a great bed and we're happy with the product.

Finally did get a call from Corporate Select Comfort in Minneapolis and she wanted to address the issues I have been having with our Select Comfort Bed, the mold issue, she called it mildew issue, but it was an issue. After sending her the pictures I had she then again immediately contacted me and said that they would replace the center foam, the mattress air chambers, and the 3" foam topper. After discussing the issue that we had for the second time on this bed she also went over some helpful things we could do to prevent this in the future, her suggestions were to leave the top covers of our bed open when we get out of bed in the morning to let the bed breathe and to also periodically open the bed up if we are going to be gone for an extended wk end or period of time. It all makes sense to do this and hopefully this will be the resolve we need, we have to make different adjustments to maybe get the results we want with this type of bed, I believe it is the rubber in the mattress chambers that are the culprits on this bed, so any of you out there that have a sleep number bed be forewarned to open your beds and let them air out, rubber and moisture from body heat do not go well for extended periods of time. Thank You Sleep Number for calling us directly and taking care of this issue, appreciated.

I have had ongoing issues with the mold problem between the air chamber and the foam mattress, just like everyone else explains, THIS IS A PROBLEM!!! Sleep Number explains that if you purchased after 2005 you should not have a mold issue, well, we do, I have pictures to prove it. I have tried putting towels to absorb moisture or take care of their issue and that doesn't help, towel becomes moldy also, so I have tried numerous ways, THEY DO NOTHING!!! Except say they have treated their product with anti-micro product.
This is not true as I am reading about purchase made two and three years ago, people becoming ill and not knowing why and they open their bed and there is the problem, BLACK MOLD!!! Is there anybody out there that knows about a class action suit or are there any of you that have this bed and purchased after 2005 and have black mold please let me know, I would appreciate it so that something can be done. I have images on my phone but have not downloaded to computer yet, but certainly can download or send.

My parents had a Sleep Number bed for over 20 years and it felt as good new, so I decided to get the new version of the same bed. My mother and I bought two mattresses. We both are having the same problem; the bed is not made of the same quality padding. Yes, the bed felt great right out of the box, but now the mattress padding is dead and my shoulder hurts badly. The padding in the bed is flat from use from where I sleep and needs to be replaced. My mother weighs 110 lbs. and I weigh 170 lbs. The issue is not due to being overweight. The cheviot with Sleep Number is the padding is only under warranty for 2 years, not a lifetime, and my bed is 3 years old. The padding lasts about 1 year, and then needs to be replaced.
Now at 3 years old, Sleep Number is forcing me to buy the new padding at a 63% discount of a jacked up price. The grand total for new padding is $27. You would think no biggie. But this inferior product will require new padding yearly with the eventual price of new padding at $75. If the mattress lasts 20 years and the foam has to be replaced at $25 per year that is a GRAND TOTAL of $2,250! That is much more than the original price of the mattress. Furthermore, the side of the mattress that I use is sinking because of getting in and out of the bed. I don't know how much that will cost, but I will soon find out. Warning! This bed requires Yearly maintenance due to being manufactured with inferior materials. The good reviews come from new customers who have not lived with the product for a few years. Hurting Shoulders, OUCH! Both in my body and my wallet.

I purchased an i8 split king mattress about a year ago with the SleepIQ. I was hoping that the SleepIQ would help to find the best sleep number for me, but I'm sadly mistaken. From what I have been able to figure out it only tells you how well you slept and can track if certain activities throughout your day help you to sleep better, i.e. working out, jogging, etc. I was under the impression that it would recommend changing your sleep number, but I have yet to get any type of recommendation from the SleepIQ. All in all it is a decent mattress, but in my opinion not worth the money I paid for it. My wife is happy though so I will continue to put up with it and the back pain that has come from it.

Purchased this bed and it has been a complete nightmare; in less than 3 years it has needed about 5 replacement parts. Causing a lot of downtime. Yet again the bed is leaking air after being on hold for over 45 minutes. The girl on the phone was rude and not helpful. Tells me swap the hoses and call back that there is nothing she can do for us at this time.

We were very excited about our new Sleep Number mattress. It was finally delivered last Friday 12/23. In less than a week this mattress has caused pain in my lower back. This is the FIRST TIME in my life I have experience back pain. I have played with the numbers and Sleep IQ but it does not seem to get better. NO MATTRESS should cause back pain. Needless to say I am EXTREMELY disappointed because it is not even close to what I thought it would be and also because this was the Christmas gift to myself. I will monitor this for two more nights (until Friday, a week of delivery) and likely start the return procedure. I already miss my old mattress. Should I call Sleep Number "The Sleep Number Grinch" because it has totally stole My Christmas.:-(

My husband and I had decided to purchase a Sleep Number bed, however, we were extremely busy and didn't have time to go in to a store to determine which bed we would need. After filling out a credit application online, a representative called us and informed us that if we had time to answer a few questions he could help us determine which bed we would need. He was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and provided us with a no pressure sales experience right over the phone. I was extremely impressed with the process and would recommend Jon ** to anyone who is considering a Sleep Number bed. He saved us a trip to the store and allowed us to shop in the convenience of our own home and worked with us within our budget. We look forward to the arrival of our new bed!

I purchased a king size Sleep Number iLe right at 30 days ago, and it is just a terrible bed! I previously owned a queen size C2 and don't remember it having the poor quality that my new iLe has. PICTURE THIS: take 2 twin sized blow-up mattresses and push them up against each other... You know that dip you get in the middle of them where they meet? Yeah, this is no different. You will slide into that like the bed is a bowl and you are grapes. THEN surround that with 4 stiff and thick pieces of foam to create a border/support for the outside of the casing. Now you have a section of the bed that you will never want to sleep on, forcing you more to slide into that center gap. The bowl-shaping of this bed is so bad that it is visible to the naked eye when being looked at. Just a complete dip in the center of the bed.
At least the C2 had some extra foam there (which I used to think was unnecessary but now am wanting it in this bed). I really should have known that this bed would be trouble when I bought a mattress pad in the store the day I ordered the bed, they gave the wrong pad and of course I didn't find out until I tried to put it on the bed (It was for the flex King, not the iLe king). I had my hopes up for this bed and it is just crazy disappointing.

The products were ordered and paid for in late November 2016. Delivery was due in late December 2016. The ancillary products were delivered as scheduled. When the California King mattress arrived, no box springs accompanied it. The order was taken minus the items I told the store Manager I needed. A store Rep tried to resolve the matter and referred me to Customer Service. A District Manager told the Rep he would contact me. That never happened. Customer Service kept me on hold for 25 minutes only to say I needed to pay for the twin box springs before a delivery date could be given.
After paying I was told that since it was a new order, no delivery would be made until early January. They were absolutely inflexible and did not address the fact that the omission was the fault of the Manager. I paid over $4K for poor service and aggravation. I don't even know if the product is worth a damn. I'm sorry I paid in advance. The attention to customers is abysmal. They are the absolute worst and are devoid of integrity.

I had Sleep Number products for 15 years and I like them very much. Recently, I bought their mattress, base, bedding, and pillows. The salespeople were knowledgeable and helpful. It was an easy sale since I knew exactly what I wanted. I walked in and just bought them. I moved out of town and had the items delivered. And since we're familiar with the Sleep Number, we put it together. We've done it many times before. The quality of the Sleep Number items were good and their people were efficient. I got what I asked for.

We've had Sleep Number for 10 years now. The bedrooms are upstairs in an old house and the convenience of that style of bed, not dealing with a full-size mattress, started it. It's been great sleeping on them every night so we purchased with them again. We recommend the mattress to anyone. We tell people all the time how much we enjoy it. So far, everything was satisfactory. When a remote control went out, they express-shipped us one right away. So, we didn't suffer for that. It feels like they do back up their product very well.

I had a good experience and bad experience with my Sleep Number. I've had three and the most recent one I got is half a Sleep Number. Their sales rep and delivery team were good. Since that delivery, I made a move and the Sleep Number has not been installed properly. And I can't seem to get it installed properly. I reached out to them and they said to call the 800-number and talk to them. I already called them on that and they said, “Well, if you had it done right the first time, we can't do anything about the second time because we weren’t involved.” I like the Sleep Number process and hope that I can get it resolved rather than having to change mattresses.
